"I'm out in the hallway when the guys come in the guys would come in during the time and I can score and I could fight because all I'm PAM relaxed. There's little kids at W. E. Character. He's Wilson again stickhandling the hallway to hit enough hitting off the concrete wall. And I'm like Jesus Christ gave the puck sorry. Keach took that routine into the nhl you always used to warm up at the ball before NHL Games. Yes guys doing Barry Hansen. Did doing with that ball. I need to get the fucking puck out of his own people. Act like the fucking puck's GonNa come to me some fuck out. Some people do figure eight with a golf ball. He'll chips chips off his driveway door. That's his schedule. Just high in hard off the driveway or garage door. Cat wait wait. He literally like the parks now. I'm just going. No pugs coming into me on the fucking wall. Eventually I need to know the fuck to do with it in order to do that. I need to stick handle another fucking puck so I can get that fucking book that make sense to anybody else but me here. We are in Shit. We're playing we were in Albany and we kept hearing this off. The boards really cool. What is going on? Who's paying off the board right now? So I'm like who the FUCK OFF CAMPUS. It has to be cancelled like boys. You gotta come out and watch this. He's on the ice with this shoes. Stick on the ice ripped snap tight tight here onto all truly. Who's on like that's why we're playing that guy? Yeah that's the puck on his own to. I'm pissing my pants. You stick handle. He's dragging on. Kyw Talk you patty pox. What is wrong with this guy? But he brought it to the Joe. Didn't they tell you to pick up the ball on day? They told you to pick the ball news much big graphs skates you. In Times out or those thick is tongues will longer than escape. They would hang on over the over them like skies a bulldog out here. I fucking parable now. My they paid you like three hundred. Maybe nothing nothing I got. I still have in my basement. I I hand them out to people. That's what I have. The people were known Eureka and you earn them in their backyard. What did I? What did you do your day with the Cup over the summer? You again that we're going to get into it in the positive way. No so we went to We want to my uncle's roller hockey rink and had an hour and a half session. There we brought up. It's kind of where I grew up. Playing hockey started on blades. And so I my uncle's Kinda owner of it now and I want their brought there for an hour and a half. Kinda brought the fans. It was kind of five hundred people. I made a list because I wasn't saying Lewis you know can't talks about me being South County. I wanted to bring it there. But it'd be more for like Blah bar hopping kind of thing but I have an eleven year old kid as you guys know just like what am I gonNa do with eleven year old kid bar hopping and going party out of the bar. So I kind of branched out went to michaels and I want to what I was talking to. Wait about it. my fiancee's Tien Restaurant Charlie? Judo's right here on Sixth Avenue guys gotTa go whoever's in whoever free it's all star break free ad right there for this We went there for about an hour and a half that was actually really fun. You know both both eventual really fun and then we went out to a family friend's house. He owns a ranch. Sega thousand acres but it's Jeez what is at stake out? Take a grown. Man's playhouse basically unbelievable unbelievable. There's guys kids were to mean snow. Wave running Shooting guns The Stanley Cup was so you're able to occupy all those people and they just have to focus in on you. 'cause one thing. I keep hearing about how the Stanley Cup. By the time the days over people were like it was cool but I was so happy to get rid of the thing we I think at the end of the day I was. I was happy you know Cam came. It was actually. It was a really really good day. It's just unbelievable. It's exhausting and like if I can do it all over again are I would. I would just put it on my kitchen table and I would just say guys come in and Hattie. We had a blast. I'm just saying in general under saying in general because while you gotTa win another one. There's a lot of people that are involved and it's like playing fucking wedding to be honest with Ya. I'd say. Where are you going to go next? What's going to happen next like your wedding the way cooler? Yeah way cooler basically because hey what the rest of your life how terrible I got there has padding right so I I didn't like Saint Louis saw so I thought about like to my going to hurt the city's feelings if I don't bring it to certain places. I really thought about that because as I you know what during the parade we've people were seen at touching it like the shitty was so good for you know obviously the initial brain Stanley Cup around the city so it was like you know what my hometown was mad at me but I'll suck it up this tyrod. I'll I'll take the heat but they were it was. It was a good time though. We had a really good times. That night was fun. You know taking family pictures in the morning obviously eaten cinnamon toast crunch out of it. And when Anthony? And he had his little copiers and Tampa. He want his little roller hockey thing. So we had to cut was obviously really fun night. So did the parade blow away all expectations. You had of the month of people that showed up. Yeah I mean it was. It was good. I think what made the parade and I'm not going to are are teamed Horn at the time but get out of the floats and actually interacting with the fans you know drinking beers with them and like going in the crowd. Jumping all over the barricades. How `Bout Sanford Economic Guy Puking on his awful to Santa Barbara falling off of the the the the flat you know who was driving that who was driving the fire truck and he slammed on the brakes. And that time deploys were so fucking offline that Edmonson finding the whole. Yeah they're cades like find into what the little the little motorbike into the two they crash that Oreilly had. I mean I think that's what it I think. Interacting and you know showing the fans at cop and like you know show our appreciation them for being behind us all year and but that was how many nights you go until you finally shut it down so we want to say over. He's had a mathematician. I'll tell you now. Did you see that picture of me? I ended up seeing you at at what republic when you guys I gave up. I mean you guys are still half you you could tell it had gotten to them physically why. I booked a flight that night. I think. Yeah you're out of you. It's over it's over. I can't give you can't bear in myself because there's there's cameras everywhere because you're you're free agent free agent all goes back the free agency my with my shirt off doesn't look no good no but hey compared to do two different questions so memory so these guys are all in. There's video that came out. Tyson fury and his GRUBBIES member. Dc there were. I went to I went you. They're they're wet republic was it. Where was that that was there? He was tutored he he just. He pushed him negatively. Take Note Not Tyson. So his buddy who looked him gangster as all shit head of TAT's everywhere had he goes. I'm David Perron was Dave Ron Holding the Cup. Right by the pool holding it up. And they're playing Gloria the whole time so I guess Tyson. Fear is buddies are probably getting all the attention from everybody of course as a should so tyson fury's buddies were there and they see all this same fucking song over and over so they're probably like don't even know who the fuck are these. So when is sh hardcore looking? Motherfucker goes over there and over the rain over there. Here's home-video runs over there in that they look at me and he pushes. Perry into a like a hot tub. It's a bridge his holding the cup in Perry falls into it like Bam Kohl's on the way dozen hit his fucking head gets up enjoyments and everybody's looking at this guy. The guy is laughs walks back now. Mike Thank fucking God you guys think twister when there are now we were having too much fun weirdest thing. I'm like Oh so fucking mad when I saw that you guys do anything. Thank God and Tyson came back over and apologized. What happened he did? I heard that he came out. Sit Patty was booking his flight. He doesn't remember a flat line. Either get resuscitate you hold your head off something drown in that three. Foot of fucking back to your. We're back to your I forgot what the original question was. If I went how long I go for so we partied that night. We landed so the wives and girlfriends and dad's had their own plane so they all flew back. The team actually was really needed them to do that. Yeah we partied in the Enterprise Centre till about seven in the morning and meteorologist pretty. We're good friends. And we had this bright idea to call. Be Over. Clark's is. I don't know if you guys are doing podcasts. Error at all but we keep hearing about this iconic place all networks here tomorrow so we go there and Jim. O'brien great guy knows. He knows all the old school guys twister Kelly We go there so it's meal Riley and then I had I text a couple of guys and facetime steamer. I'm like why are you in bed? Steiner? He's a screw you. I'm like no seriously why am badly come on. And so he comes so we get there about eight o'clock. I still have a picture. Anthony's Holman the eight. Am Eight am in the morning. My son drops me off home. Bercy but I think he understood he understood was going on so like my girl. Dropped me off. O'reilly's girl and then his O'Reilly's buddies with my son counts my trophies in the back of truck and Anthony's with it outside Obi Clark's taking pictures ones the last time. You're ever going to hold this unless you ever win it but the closest thing ever get so we went all day and all night and I think I had a call someone to pull me out of there because guys want to about eight o'clock that night there's a long such and man that's a sigh because the game and it's a eleven you're already fucking twenty four hours like that. I got home around six. I want to sleep because we had another party that night on the whole team my cheese. I don't think half the there's no way sure enough. The only one that didn't show up. I think it was O'Reilly would steer his IPAD. You at home like you haven't been Jose. No this. My Wife firmware the Wiser. Not Happy Amazing amazing like three or four days or like what? I L YOU and so we all met the wife's up there because that was her gig that night and we had a blast and then we we kept going and then the next night we had the dinner for all the owners and I think you were there. I think it was like a a whatever. Say Let us show off. The COB crept in ramp and then we went out that night with all the wives and players again and then the parade and then Vegas it was. It was a nightmare seriously. Hurt me free agency. That picture it'll be someone viral me to sit in there. Like the fucking. The best picture was our Rhino Riley on on the on the jet. He's got the Selke you got to cub. He's drinking Guinness. Your Drink Maya three constantly. I'm sorry well. He's got both but consummate their sorry correct meal neck some idiot but you the picture on the plane where you guys sitting there. That's fuck it was always a fucking best and rally the fucking coolest cat on. He works is the coolest fucking cat in the world. We're trying to get his dad on because his dad really helped out with this office in the psychological aspect he actually does talks as well. Yeah he talked to me actually last year. Okay well yeah. He brides a Greek guy. I was struggling last year a lot. 'cause I was playing here and I wasn't producing and going through tough time and O'Reilly good friend comes after he was wanting to talk to my dad normal. No go in. You can come to my house. It was actually on a game day. They were playing. I was a healthy scratch. Bri was in town. I want over talk to him and he actually. He helped me out so much. It's it's amazing what he can do and I then you understand the mental toughness at or I has and how he is careers to spin in all the where where it's at right now. I mean you need to what he does off the ice away. He worked his work ethic on the ice off dice. His pre game ritual with the balls and his hand can from your tone mentally stronger than the nine on a ten guys a hundred percent. Which would think about how how much ahead of the game. You're you're like that puts you just just by having like being raised a certain way and having someone like that to like basically mentor your entire career.

"He's saying he got fired for yellow bag at his Boston. Swearing I mean. Vacuum matches happen all the time in Hockey. So this is a little more than meets the eye here. What would listen? I tweeted something that the Ottawa senators complete joke and the whole the whole front office. There is just what a mess. This guy was hired January tenth and to release that statement in what's going on in the NHL This season especially into released a statement saying that his conduct was inconsistent with the core values of the Ottawa. Senators National Hockey League. You think that's maybe dressing it up a little bit dude. He swore at you because you're not letting them do his job that you just hired him to do and then you release a statement to make it sound like he could've sexually harass somebody. Like what the fuck is that dude? I read that statement. I was like what did this guy do. Did any of you guys think the same? I would say the way they approached. That's a little bit gutless. Man Wall argument you. You had an argument over the the the way that you're going to run an NHL team. Like I just said that you hired me to do. The argument was February fourteenth. You got hired a month before that. And they're already in a big time argument and the guy's a passionate journey but if he's just saying his statement I sw part of it as I war and he didn't accept it. Do Swear it's like the guy who was mad. I was watching the video of Dana Crushing Beers. You can't swear to watch video par like what are you. What are you doing Melnik is? It's James Dolan in the news and melniks in the news. The two worst owners and sports mail that I don't WanNa say anything else after that great job buddy and I've heard a lot of a lot of really good things about Jim little so I thought the same thing too and and like I said it sounded familiar when they said the skin consistent core values. Because that's exactly what Dallas said. You know they basically use the same statement but elites defunct and last thing. I'll say to as far as the fuck you match very very common. When there's that much pressure in in positions where big big decisions have to be made my assumption would be he was hired mainly to try to get that arena deal done downtown or at least have a hand in it because right now that's very important melniks wallet right all of a sudden you have a team downtown where people don't have to travel thirty minutes so he. He had to get court of public opinion on his side and he needed somebody else to do it. And now it's back to Melnik and everybody hates got and I don't know what he's like. I've never shook his hand or talk to him. But I've heard enough to know that I probably wouldn't care to sit down and have a beer with him and by the way for to say it's not what you're thinking that just proves that when the state became all Batman was par like. What the Hell did this guy do? He's basically admitting that he released. Bettman was getting asked about the GM meetings and that question came up and he had already gotten briefed on it. And he's like it's not what you think he's that's a that's something now bettman's gotta deal so bettman probably hates next guts. Now he was like the one guy who might have liked him. As it sounds people up and auto it could use a little bit of us. interview sponsor because the interview is brought to you by. Bud Light Seltzer and we know what you're thinking..

"We went blues. Let's go paying her here. F O P friend. I believe our last visit you were in walking the streets the Vancouver. The Pot was in the air but on that same road swing. You caught up with the former Bleu chicken parm one of the great nicknames Ray Ferraro Give us a tangere update on what chicken Parm is up to these days. Well chicken parm retired as a Saint Louis Blueberry number thirteen if you remember Toyota's ACL and He's he's married The hall of Famer and the Gold Medal winner in Cammi Granato They've got two kids And both their kids are incredible athletes soccer players and I've I did. I just love the guy. I go on golf trips with them. Every summer He's a competitive. Hazardous Guy always always has been He's fun to be around our nickname when we get on the road or it's not. It's not that you know it's not that slick of nickname name but we seem to get dumber as we as we get together on the road. So we are Harry and Lloyd. We're on these big golf trips and Yeah so he he does a great job. He's one of my favorite if not my favorite analysts to listen to on the television side. He works full time for. TSN Does all the National Games. And I think he's just got such a quick tongue and a quick. What about him? He always had that as a player and now is the broadcast You can't put anything by him and he's he's a sharp was get dumb and dumber. I liked it Harry and Lloyd the chicken Parm and Panger. I should mention it. Is it sorta homecoming week for kids. That grew up in Saint. Louis Got Matthew could chuck Thursday night. Calgary granted there in town more often than in Tampa Bay but boy matthew seems to have elevated his game up there and we saw that when he played against the blues he scored some of the most magnificent goals. I've seen this year and it's getting better and better for this kid. He's you know what he's he's he's the whole package I if I'm goaltender playing against Matthew Ca Chuck he drives you crazy crazy because he'll always stick around the blue paint and he's got great hands And he's he never stops talking and if you're a defensive he's GonNa be crazy 'cause it's gonNA keep through. I didn't do it at the net and you're gonNA keep pounding away as well and And then if you're a a a right winger because he plays left-winger you're going to be constantly on the face up that he's he's just just the remarkable kids they've been talked to gain the right way and And I'm I'm glad too risky. NHL because there's there's hope for the young kids here Martin when you've got good kids like this that take traitors out of you know by the Voice of beer handle it the right way. They're just they've just been taught wealth by their mom and dad and I love watching them imply how about the fact big wall. We talked him once a week. He's out on the road and I'm like where are easy Hold on a second. I think I'm in Duluth and what I said. What the Hell is this guy doing but he loves it? He's out scouting he's looking at college kids. And it's gotTa be pretty cool when you're a scout for you know some other team and you walk into billion you're sitting next to again scored over five hundred goals. I mean I think people would be surprised that he's out there grinding. I would agree with you and I'm glad you said that because people people just assume that these great players yeah. They're just front office guys. They come in whenever they want. They don't know that he's putting in the work and You know and also like going out there and scouting a college. Let's play that hasn't been drafted or or clear that you could maybe get in the sixth or seventh round or something like that. He's he's put it on the line he's going into Doug Armstrong and he's going into the Bill Armstrong and say no this is. This is the guy this is why I like them and you know so. I mean he's being tested every single day with his with his knowledge and his hockey accurate. And we'll kind of players that but he likes it and and He's put into work. So that's that's again. That's that's speaks volumes about the work ethic he hands out the weekly Panger brought to you by the good folks turban chestnut one of our sponsors here. As well. As Fast Eddie's Air Greenville University Triad Bank and Marie Davila senior living panger enjoy. We'll be looking free. You might start a trend here where you're wearing jerseys during the broadcast I've told destroy many times. Marshall faulk great rams running back. I was still relatively really new in town. We did a Sunday night show and he said Martin. I got an idea man. You'll become huge with this every Sunday. Just where Jersey and I said God that it just doesn't seem professional enough. He said don't worry you're not that professional so you may you may stumble into something here. People may be sending New Jersey's aware. Who does that a lot? Is Jon. Butcher grass does on. ESPN A lot he. He likes to put in the college hockey. So the Random College hockey I love that part of it and he calls it college hockey and Yeah you know what that's it. This is a unique thing so I actually sent a text to all three of the players. All the Sassy boys and I said does anyone of you tree. We have a schedule and rock writer sweater that I can wear tomorrow. So Schwartz says I got kinda breaking news here on Fox with Barney and paying a great week..

"Do. You know any and then caught the attention of his own bench and now his own benches kind of percolating. Now now we got something going here Last year at the beginning of the year when the blues were really struggling I found that even taproom I found Pat Maroon Lionel Riley in the new players that they had tyler Bosak they. They were all very quiet. They didn't want to step on anybody's toes. And then as they started growing in January and February March and Pat. MAROONS game started. You know improving proving and he was playing on that line with Bosak and Thomas mckean. More confidence He was able to go to the other teams bench. You able to talent. Mark Cycling Winnipeg series. He was able able to challenge. I remember challenging the Toronto Police Coach. WE'RE IN TORONTO. And it just kind of the whole bench went. Whoa what is going on over there? And it's having Maroon. You know stirring things up it's Dole Edmonson would do the same thing and so you know who those two personalities. Well what do you have. You have to fewer guys that are that are our guys with energy and the guys conserve and the guys that don't wind up gloves biting so I I always liked Troy Brouwer. When he was with this team that he also had that timing that he could also step up and say something at the right time you could also go up to another teams you know player And and challenge. That player didn't have to fight. He's gotta get his grill a little bit so I think that's AH needed component. I think Doug I'm on You know I think he saw that as well and we'll know soon enough for hours gonNA stick. What do you think he can still bring at? This point is part of it that that sort of edge that you just talked about. Is that something that appeals. You still got to be able to skate. Still gotTa have something left the tank but is that part of the appeal for Doug Armstrong. Right now I I think it is. I think the conditions North Roy hours impressed. Everybody and He's I mean so. That's that's one number two I think he's he's Energized energized if to finish his career on his own terms not the way that it was going to end which was he goes to Florida's training camp walk on. He has a really good really good training. Camp should've made the team and at the last minute they pull the plug because younger player that they were afraid. They'RE GONNA lose on waivers so so he gets. Let go. So that's disappointing feeling when you're a player that That you know that you're not in control of when it's going to go so I think he wants to give it everything he's got. So what's he gets into the lineup. Or Doug Armstrong chooses you know Troy Brouwer And signed him to a deal. And I believe Wednesday's the deadline for him today is the deadline for Mcginn But I see I see brower having the edge in that department and I think the You know the familiarity and the history of what he's done to the Saint Louis Blues. I could see Doug Armstrong leaning towards toy our friend panger update when we come back great to have urban chestnut on board you know about their great fear and the Great Beer Garden hanging out in the Grove they've expanded there's just been the explosion of craft. FBI's but boy it goes way beyond that urban chestnut the become part of the Saint Louis scene. I love that Bourbon Underdog. You haven't had it. It's great American lager. Beer snobs out there. I get it. My wife is a perfect example. Not a huge beer fan. I rolled out a little urban underdog. She absolutely loves it. So whatever your palate is they've got a taste for you. You know about the Panger award presented by the good folks at urban chestnut every single week. Huge hockey fans confined their product. Now all around town whether you got snuck grocery store if you're at MM sporting event blues game how about at the zoo. That's right. I had the Grizzly Ridge Koelsch the other day they have expanded. It's not just the great product great people behind. It's more than just this fear that you're enjoying the part of the movement in Saint Louis getting things done and changing the whole area there the grove. And if you talk about the connection with the MLS. I think we had the big celebration with the MLS. For the Lou that was at urban chestnut in the grove location. You can find them all around town. I started with the wingnut still love that moved into this wickel title currently just hooked on urban underdog. Check them out neighborhood. Grocery store liquor store guaranteed all around town. It's huge it's an adventure. Yeah that's what I was trying to say. This is more than a bar. I mean the coldest beer the best live entertainment. Everyone knows about the great food but fast. Daddy's is far more than that. I'll tell you what it's kind of like I've only been to heaven but I bet you that hard to describe to. I sure hope I get that telling me. You got an idea what that might be like. What was it actually like in person? I'd say imagine it and then multiply it because it's it's real. That's that's that's who it is and it's that much fun but your who likes to have fun but unlike bread red hot takes it to another level for a living and I keep people out of and I'd like to keep up with the Best I party for a living and I teach teach people out of party. That's it man. You know what I've said about Fast Eddie's it's a mood changing experience. I've never been in there and looked around and seeing anybody in a bad mood and you might see him walking in with a frown but boy once they and there's always groups of people they could be mad at their boss or their dog and all of a sudden. They're going too fast. Eddie's nobody's having a bad time forget forget about your troubles. There's no windows for a reason. And you leave the world when you walk in and it's it's a definitely a coming in about twelve hours. Awesome all twelve of them and I know you love baseball. And you're hanging with Mike Shannon. You're down at Cardinal Games. But I think I've sensed this and I've seen down there in recent years certainly with the cup run. It's been fun but you've gravitated towards hockey and there was a night. They were fighting back. I was at the TV job and we text in and you send man. I like this team. Because they've got some they've got a little bit of balls they'll push back. Take care of each other to. It's fun to watch man. They're really on a work team at the very spirit in the team attitude. You guys are good man really good and it's fun for the city. You know I mean I've I grew up here. You grew up here. Everybody's got like three cardinals shirts in their closet. Maybe more go and now all of a sudden you go to the store you gotta fast. Eddie's everybody's wearing blues gear. It's amazing man. I tell you go places where you have always been Kendall one and now lets you know. Now it's tend to three you know anything count. Whatever the whatever? The ratio is popping up. And coming up we're getting into it more and more new people watching it. It's cool. You know it took from wanting to do it. But that's what gets to learn. Everybody loves a winner. Here's what people ask me. I always they say what are you going when you go to fast. Eddie's I'm like I'm going to probably work my way through the menu if I hang for a couple of hours but what about eighty if you're there all the time. What are you ordered you have? Do you have a Goto Goto. I order the rottweilers and then I ordered the figure and fries gotTa have our fries but you have the networks and the big our original to the place you can't get anywhere else and You can't go wrong. I promise and the doors open at one o'clock Monday through Thursday. Eleven o'clock on Friday Saturday Sunday. They've gotta live music on every single angle. "The new ball BMW Toyota sports status I'm Tom Ackerman blues hockey tonight at enterprise center and it'll be a lot of fun to see Pat maroon back in the house he is one of the favorites only played one year but we all know why we love him one he won a Stanley Cup two and this is in no particular order he's from St Louis three he's from Oakville man from south county and he is a good man Pat Morita be back in the house he now plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the blues are really going to do it out they're going to have a video tribute form up on the board they're going to give in the Stanley Cup championship bring he scored the big goal in double overtime against the Dallas Stars in game seven that propelled the blues forward Pat maroon and the Tampa Bay Lightning and then once the puck drop sees the enemy as the blues take on this team tonight from the Eastern Conference Darren Pang is our hockey analyst he's with Fox Sports Midwest and he says the blues have some work to do particularly in trying to put teams away they have been able to do that very well many chances this year where they've had two goal leads and they've had a chance we get three goal lead whether it be a power play opportunity that they don't cash in on or just good scoring chances or just put in there you know the hammer down on these teams in and not give them any life to come back in the game so that's an area to that I know the the the players have talked about the coast of talked about the blues take on the lightning tonight the blues are the number one team in the Western Conference tied with the Edmonton Oilers with twenty nine points they have a three point lead in the.

"University of missouri journalism school and <hes> getting you hashtag tag ready for the upcoming college football season so that's one thing you already got that pick six you gotta get ready for because the weather man this past weekend started off off to a no this guy went sixty five percent against the spread last year and he's off to a big start this year two zero against the spread you wanna listen for his season win total <hes> on the pick six podcast and you wanna bet those two guys just on fire and he saw some things this weekend that he likes going into next week and that he noticed as far as some mm transnet florida miami and that arizona hawaii game and he might apply to these upcoming games this weekend in what is now officially week one so we have all that for you but yesterday yesterday and i'm speaking on monday august twenty six <hes> pat maroon and i played in the joe how memorial golf tournament joe how is the groundskeeper at normandy golf course who passed away tragically <hes> during an accident in july and <hes> there was a golf tournament held to raise money for his family family and pat being the kind guy that he is saw that this was going on and put in a team to make sure that he was there to help support fourth 'cause <hes> and of course this past weekend pat signed with the tampa bay lightning <hes> so before we took the course yesterday pat maroon and i had a chance to discuss his move to sign with tampa bay lightning and also get some background on whether or not he was ever close is to returning to the blues for his second season ladies and gentlemen presented by mark hanna of evergreen wealth strategies ears pat maroon me from the normandy mindy golf course offices but they also doubled as the home loan expert dot com studios here on the tim mckernan show all right pat. We're sitting out here in the offices offices at normandy most luxurious studio. You've been assumed <hes> says the best duty of thank you very much congratulations from my standpoint. It's kind of better sweet but i would imagine it's even more so for you. That is bittersweet. I think for me. I wanted to come back home. Obviously you know you you wait around and you wanna gonna be in saint louis and you want to be if those guys you know it's the most importantly it's the guys locker room what we went through all your ups and downs and but you know what i'm going to a good hockey team which i'm really pumped about a team that can win another stanley cup your ultimate goal when you when you enter league in that h. L. is is to wanna stay on a couple of you want to win multiple. Why don't you get the first taste of it. You want to one another one and i'm super excited to get going with the tampa bay lightning. <hes> can't be more excited so i'm really looking afford to. I know my family is to the fans in saint louis or like how one year nine hundred thousand. How could the blues not make that work. That's what the reaction i had so many people texting me that yesterday your thoughts when people say that yeah obviously there's a lot of people that are mad right now. Obviously louis the blues. They're against the cap right now. I understand that part of it but you know and there's not an offer you can't really control anything out of that out of the hands of what they're trying to do and i think <hes> armies doing a good job of just trying to find ways where they can keep some cap space open for barbara shelvin. Maybe be a little more. Maybe down the stretch into the playoffs. They can add a veteran player where they can have some <hes> some room and some space where they can add some indep down the stretch. So it's a business. I understand that part. It's you wanna cop in your hometown. Maybe it's the best thing for me. You know what i whoa and i'm leaving. I'm leaving a mark that i'm a saint louis boy born and raised her oakville native come home one year when a stanley cup. I mean that's impressive and you know what the right now. I'm going to tampa bay lightning. That's team that lost in the first round there. They're determined to wanna cop near and they got a good mantra. Group guys are so excited but like you said it's. It's tough ah business yeah. It's throughout the process. It sounded like you had a clear perspective on how you felt about it. It's like yeah i get it. It's a business for the record did you even the blues ever have conversations. We did have conversations. I think he was just trying to find ways to get a restricted free agent sign and which is understandable. You know they have to get there young guy. I signed and i'm thirty one. I'm not a young guy anymore but i am a good veteran leader. I'm a good presence in the locker room <hes> but you know teams could use me. I and i knew their their off-season was to get sundquist signed sanford fabs blaze and barbershop side and that's good you know those are really good hockey players and they did a lot of good things to make us win a stanley cup and they're young and up and coming so i understand that part of the game like i said before i would love to come back but it's the nature of the business i get an opportunity to play somewhere else in miami right me my agent talked about. We wanted to go somewhere where i can win. Again and tampa was number one on my list. I wanted to go there and i just can't i'm. I'm really excited to go. Oh that's taken the the blues element out of it for a moment from a hockey perspective and also your background perspective first off team that many would say was the best they had seen a longtime in the regular season huge disappointment with what happened in the first round and if you're looking at what they might have been missing in the first round it could be a guy who brings exactly what you you bring to the table and of course jon cooper yeah absolutely. I think they're a good team. They're very highly skilled. They're fast. They're good on the back jack. Their goal is obviously everyone knows about their and kucherov and stamkos. What a dynamic duo that is and for me. I think i can come in and bring a different different presents for my standard is protected pox download being big big physical making sure those top guys feel comfortable that i'm out there and give them some space and you you know making sure they know i had their backs and if anything happens and that's what i'm there for and i can big body presence in the in the postseason and get them over the hump. You know i feel like they're missing that i feel like i can come in and bring it and i said before i think the whole locker room thing and me being the team guy and they're greedy guy in the funny guy in the locker room bringing everyone together. I think i can health our too so over the course the off season people are like making reports. It's like oh. I think he's got a three or four year offer and calgary three or four year offer an edmonton. What is this stuff. Come from staples. Make stuff up to get follower. I mean what's going on. People make it up to you the following okay. I know it's going to stir the pot think for guys like that. They just want to stir the pot and get guys worked out. Give people get fans all worked out. It's a it's all bullshit bs and yeah. I mean we had interest the whole summer. It was just trying to find the right fit and teams trying to find the right fit. It's it was it's a big off season for a restricted free agent and the cap doesn't go up a little bit. You're you're still teams are still trying to find up and they're still trying to find those players and there's a lotta on unrestricted free agents out there still which is very shocking and and like i said are against the cap. A lot of restricted free agents like brayden point could shock martyr. I mean there's i can go donald lists. There's a handful of them and teams are kind of an an a pickle where they they can't really sign unrestricted free agents because they don't know where they're going. It'd be out against the cap and i think that's where saint louis was and i totally understand that part. You know army gave me a chance to come back to saint. Louis live out my dream. My childhood dream is to put that blue no no jersey on my whole life and playing that shell and i wanna stanley cups. I can't think the blues organization for what they did for me and doug armstrong obviously things sometimes shift and on unfortunately it's nature of the business. You have to go somewhere else but i'm okay with that. My family's okay with that and i'm just happy i to get another chance to play in that. Do you have any mindset as to okay. I wanna play one more year two more years three more years. How still i'm still just i'm taking it day by day. Now and i've we talked about tim. I think you just take it day by day. You keep continue to work hard making sure you're getting in shape making sure you're skating and making sure you're doing a little things that make you a good hockey player and set yourself up for success during the year and i'm going to continue to do that until kicks. Miata league and says patterns no longer complain that h. l. than i think i'll hang them up but as of right now i'm still going to one year offer so i'm going to continue to work harder chase chase malcolm of gold cups can so what was the reaction like over the last forty eight hours or so when it became official in your teammates blues teammates know what's going on your new lightning running teammates. Yeah what's going on in your friends and your family. What's what's that process like your fiance. Your son the whole thing emotional you certainly when i read my tax from all the blues guys waking up and even yesterday when they announced it and get those taxes and it really it really hits me because you know it just i they cared about me and i know we we've had such a special bond all year and to get a meaningful tax from a lot all my teammates as just says a lot yeah and obviously very emotional for my family when you you know the wife side of it people. Don't get the side that i understand like i walk in an i._r._a. Half twenty four best friends the wife walk in. They don't know if they're gonna going to get twenty four best friends. You know what i mean so that that part of it's hard i think francesca had those wives and that blue soccer. They bonded like no other. Why like wives reminder scene so that's really tough on her and i think people don't understand that part of it of the game were how much transition and they always go through and the workload and kids and so that part was sad. I think's francesa's going through a tough time but you know we'll get over it. Will we always do. We always find a way to get over it. We we've been through a lot ups and downs <hes> throughout my career but the most important important thing is anthony <hes> this this one hits home being here all year and watching them grow as as a year got on watching them play hockey. You watch them play basketball. <hes> just doing dad the things we found taken with school waking up. That's the most important thing for me. I'm really gonna miss that. I really truly am. He's gonna miss it. He's he's taken a good. You know he understands the game now how wind playing and <hes> and understand when i retire that you know he's gonna have a happy life and a good life get to do some fun things and so you know aw i'm sad because i i'm leaving him and he just made his aaa hockey team and it's devastating but i know in the back of my hand what i'm doing for him to <unk> care for them and working hard for him playing hard and not even for him but my future kids so he's going to get the chance to come to florida. Go to the beach go to disneyworld so we're gonna have have a good time you know he in the beginning stuff but he's so busy now at school and hockey and basketball that he'll he'll get over it so <hes> but we're all looking forward to it and hopefully it's going to be funnier. Wanna thank all of our sponsors..

"Cool. I'M GONNA go down memory lane but I also WANNA find out here over the last couple of weeks what this has been like because I see these videos popping up and I see these pictures pop up of your day with the cup and it looked like that was that was pretty sick. Yeah it was a good time. I'll we really enjoyed our time at the COP and <hes> just enjoy my family and certainly my friends and people with the community <hes> all American was a great turnout with over three hundred fifty four people show up. We made it a private of that because it would have been tough 'cause I'm from Saint Louis Priority Than Ten thousand fans there which I wouldn't mind but then it takes time away from the thing I really loved to do is nice to celebrate with the cockpit what I worked so hard to do so but I wanna make sure I gave back to the community and all the people and then obviously Charlie judo's degree turn out. There's probably hundred plus people in there just that little areas side so <hes> that was really turn out as as always and <hes> to do that because my odyssey my fiance is a G._P._O.. But obviously her mom married of angle so but her grandfather's charlie judo so it was really need to really really bring it. They're all the history there and all the all baseball players that come in there and you know grateful to be married into that family for things they do for me so it was a really neat Neat Neat Stanley Cup party then taken out to the ranch coach <hes> so with a lot of stuff to do a lot of boats out away runners and a family opened up their their home for us and kind of lettuce celebrate with a hundred and fifty people and really got together and really enjoyed her time together Cam along for the ride. He was nice weekend cameras there. We had a blast and <hes> you know. It's good for the kids. You know everyone. I'm not a young buck anymore so all these young kids institute club or ticket to a bar and they really celebrate. I really wanted to go bar hopping I really wanted to do all that stuff but it takes a fun of my son. I think people don't realize I do have a ten year old son and he is in the studio here and I think people don't realize that you know Ulf. Oakville people really mad at me for not taking it to Oakville but I always that right. I didn't know that <hes> you take it to like Barney stone and sports and all those local bars but they gotta remember by a ten year old son and I can't just be going bar hopping and you know and but so I think what we did bring it off to the farm. My son got to go tubing. You got to go kayaking. I mean he dill. I mean he did so much stuff that he got to enjoy the day with US instead of his dad yeah just going out and going out with his friends and going to all different bar so that was the most important thing for me so I sorry all my Oakville fans and that <hes> I didn't bring it there. That's the reason why bring it there no hard feelings. I love OAKVILLE. That's my home and <hes> maybe one day. If I wanted again I can bring it back. That's awesome well to to have anthony here and to experience all of this with your son <hes> I would imagine there's so many elements of this that make it incredible I wanted to I want to go back to the beginning meaning of the season and get your perspective on what was going on <hes> because we were talking before we started I went to a game. I think it was the Friday night after Thanksgiving you guys we're playing the predators beat the hell out of them to Kinda showed the team is capable of but it will obviously was inconsistent time I was sitting there with your brother. <hes> Phil was there with young page views and and it was it was a mess at the time I think it was brewers. First home game is coach. What were you thinking is a guy who's been on some good teams seems was going wrong in the first couple of months this if you can look back and think back the fact that the cup champions were in disarray other than finding identity for yourself as a player and a team you know when you get a bunch of new faces on one team and <hes> the Saint Louis Blues Wanted Different Direction you'll trading or not signing their captain not signing story brower they want to the conference finals with the guy with these guys and <hes> not bringing some guys back in to bring new faces in O'Reilly Tyler Bosak Myself <hes> couple other guys and I think with that mixes some players are so used to play with different players and when you come in and you gotta Riley coming in kind of facts of trickle down effect of where were insured player where you know Schwartz supply to I put him with those two? You know what I mean so I think is trying to find themselves. Try to find lines to click and you know it's all about coming into room. Make them guys feel comfortable and not saying and we weren't comfortable. I think it's just opened up to each other. We opened up to each other but I don't think we were there yet. Come January time I mean it was just a whole different view like we were all best friends. Even though we are losing Susan we're so close we came in and we dislike. It was just a weird feeling that while this is truly amazing how we're coming together but like you said we'd win one lose three when one and we're still trying to figure out that Mo jo but we found her lines that collect <hes> we got the Schwarzie shedder tear single back and we found a good fit for O'Reilly Peron and I think I don't know who is on his side. The left side there <hes> and then we had the boat arline Bosak and Thomas and me and then that fourth line was truly amazing what Steiner <hes> Sundquist and Barbara I think that was our best signed consistently down the street half and I think when you find those lines that we didn't have in the beginning of the year that makes such a big difference but when you're happy and you have that swagger locker when you're joking around the guys and you're having fun you bring that out into the rink and we didn't have that in the beginning of year. I don't know why we didn't have it. I think it's because new faces and new faces make you feel kind of uncomfortable a little bit don't know how to act around a veteran player. You don't know not act. Can we speak up so you you kinda. Just feel that way but ended up being great you know Steiner you know petro and Vladi they just let us in the right direction and over. I was a leader on and off the ice and brought the young guys in and you can feel the chemistry common after the DADS trip to guide for just get. We were always getting along but it's just a very close bond <hes> bonding team that I hope we can all come back together. Stick together again. That's great to hear you say that because because you know I have to ask I'm obligated to ask here and then you're and I know you gotTa Shadow box so I get the whole thing but I gotta do it because I'm Kinda like. I don't know what I'm glad to pats coming in but like everybody wants to know what's Pat GonNa do and you're like. I hope we can all come back together again. I go baby pats planning on coming back so where where's your head as we speak. My head's wherever you know I I'm thirty one years old. I WANNA continue to play. I'M GONNA show people that I can play more. I didn't have a good year. I'd get end of the year. I thought I played really good. I thought I played my hockey towards the end of the year and the beginning of your I think with Baxter knee surgery. You're not gonNA use an excuse 'cause I never make excuses but I should've took some time away from the game where skating more because that inserts gain to that of August and I should've took told November probably to Kinda just he'll let my body seal that the surgeries kind of hill up and get used to it and then I jumped into it and then I really wasn't prepared but for me I want to go out there and have really good year. My my plan is to whoever picks me up if it's Saint Louis or the other thirty one hockey teams that are out there. I WANNA go out there and prove people wrong again. I you know I've been a guy that's free. Agency hasn't been the best to me but that just goes at the big I kind of slow now. The Games change in the right in the right direction. Um You know there's a lot of pace to the game Lottie. It's starting to be a developmental league which I can agree to disagree but <hes> but I think the games change in the right direction though and you know it's going younger instead of older used to be a lot of veterans now. It's Kinda trend in the wrong way but hopefully what team saw this year with. Were the blues play let their identity. The big strong heavy game is coming back again. You need that in the playoffs you can see Tampa. Skill skill can win the regular season but can skill when the playwright Tampa and Calgary. I think it'd be examples and <hes> I mean Pittsburgh obviously backed back chance obviously with that but I thought in Washington one against Las Vegas because they were big heavy that some big scary guys that protected grind down low <hes> so I think that trend is coming back and how we played yeah so we'll see what happens with me. I think <hes> I'm just waiting. My agents. Got Some good interest for me so we're just kinda. Waiting lottery restricted free agents out there that need to be signed <hes> a lot of trades to be had the cap is in some teams are in trouble with the capsule. You're looking for the best fit for Pat Maroon and my family <hes> that's the most important things my family and certainly my son. That's next me today but <hes> we'll see it's it's going to be tough. <hes> <hes> we all know my heart's here I wanna Stanley Cup here but what the Blues Business Business Moves and that's that's the blue so mean dog have really good relationship the Booze Organization coaching staff so whatever happens is meant to be and <hes> it's kind of been a different frequency for me just kind of laid back last shares. More stress didn't know what to do their shirts been. I told my aging you know. Just give me whatever you think the best fit from rebels sit down talk about it and then <hes> talk to my family about it. What's the most important element in the decision for you number of years? No I'm not looking for years. You know I'm just looking for an opportunity. That's it you know I you know if I do get it to your great. If I don't great you know what I mean. I'm not I'm not we talked about it. I talked about it to to one year deal great <hes> obviously if that the two year deal doesn't happen. I'll take him when you're deal. I'm not really pressure in the market like saying. I want a four year deal I want to. I'm not doing that. No certainly not <hes> but yeah I think teams know what I kind of what I'm looking for <hes> two to one on year but if I don't get that to than in a what that's that's okay it's just another stepping stone and for me just to go out there and kind of earn by next one year deal. You know what I mean. If that's the way my career is going to go the rest of the Mike my careers when you're deals down the line and I'm playing something I do that. I love every day and I'm planning to that each L.. So that's all I can say. I would imagine even if Anthony weren't sitting here I mean he was one of the main reasons why you sign with blues last year. How much of that as a as a factor I mean it's gotta be such a real feet so clear you guys are so close yeah? It's certainly that was a.

"And I just read this online and I was unaware of this, his one of his children has autism in order to get him the NHL insurance package, they call them up. So he was along for for a little bit of the season and also Stanley Cup playoffs. And a guy who also is in that organization loved in that locker room. He's bounced around he was in Winnipeg for a bit. He was in Atlanta, just a bit of a journeyman, but a wonderful teammate. I'm so happy that he got to lift the Stanley Cup and well deserved and Peron, of course in his third stint with the with the Saint Louis blues he had a great. Great playoff for them. Put up some great numbers had some timely goals in some in some timely plays than O'Reilly, Tarasenko Bosak and other guy came over from Toronto. You know you play in Toronto on your deal with all that pressure. Sometimes hockey's, not fun. And, and, you know you lose what, what, what the true site is having fun and playing a game and ultimately may be winning a championship. And he gets to do it done. Another wonderful guy in the locker room and I could keep going down the list. But just so many well-deserved guys, and I'm gonna pass it off to you. Pat maroon he somebody came after me online tonight about how I was Chirpin him about how he how he got screwed or whatnot. I could read the tweet after after you talk about maroon. But the point I made was it was he was at a similar boat to, to Simmons. Always wanna see guys who have success and put the puck in the back of the net and up getting their pay day. And after getting forty four goals in the two prior seasons. Combine the twenty seven and seventeen he probably thought he was going to get a nice three four year deal. Maybe twelve over four or even nine over three and he, he kind of hung out to dry and free. Agency and sure enough. His hometown team ends up offering a one year deal at not a lot of money, not as much as what I thought he was going to get paid. I'm sure what he thought he was going to get paid. But he says fucking, I'm gonna go be with my kid, I'm gonna play for my hometown team. And he gets the fucking raise a cop. Local kid brings the Cup home. What a story. I mean he'll be forever able to be a part of the Saint Louis blues organization. Hall. Pam aroon. Teammates love him so happy for a guy like that. And and and to, to, to be able to do that. And to be able to be around his son all years, just so special. And I mean he scored that goal double overtime against Dallas. Right. That's game seven they're not there unless he gets that goal. That'll the always remembered on this run to the Stanley Cup. I think it's going to be just an unreal experience for him just for the rest of his life, because he makes it sound like he's gonna live in Saint Louis forever. I mean, he loves it there, it is home. And now he's a Stanley Cup champion and the first time the blues ever one and then you bring up Thorpe. He's awesome. I remember Thor becoming a Pittsburgh. Great guy funny in the locker room. Absolute snowed on them too busy. Just not man complete beauty, though, long hair forever. And he's pleading the NHL for a long time playing a role. That's not easy. Physical was hard to play against he'd fight. So when I saw him get it early. That was really cool. I, I'd seen him up in the press box when they showed the, the plaque type group. I think they showed him when. When they showed Barbara, chef sit note from his suspension, or one might have been somebody else. But yet this so many guys you have for steam was the other one that I was really pumped. You brought up because what a great guy he was to us when we were just there for a minute, and he's done. He's done a lot of great things in the league. And he's put his body out there and his body's gonna be fucked up forever. He's one of those guys that he's got the knee issues..

"He convinced him that that's where he needed to be in order for this team to turn things around and start winning again and Alexander Steen told them if that's what you want coach. And if that's what you think I need to do and help to help this team win. That's what I'll do, and when he made the decision and said, okay, that's the role all play everyone else on this team just followed along. And that was a really important thing for him to do swallow his pride a little bit. But it obviously has turned out, and it was the coach's idea Alexander Steen ends up winning a Stanley Cup. The Saint Louis blues continue to celebrate. They are the Stanley Cup champions, we go back down to ice level, Brian Boucher, Brian, what's going on down there, while a lot of excitement down here and Pat maroon just was able to hug general manager Doug Armstrong right in front of me. Now it's portrayal right now, exchanging some, some happiness with the, the blues general manager just a lot of excitement. I think there's no doubt that these guys have worked hard for a long time. "The magic, Pat, maroon the Oakville, NATO and the blues they are in Boston. They are ready for game one tonight against the Bruins. It's a seven o'clock start right here on KOMO X. It'll be a six o'clock pre-game right off the top as Chris Rabi guides you into this game one. One, Chris Kerber and joy, Vitale will have the call, you know, who else is on the colonists series, John Kelly. So Chris is allowing John to be part of this play by play experience his father, Dan, a legend, and call the last time the blues were in the Cup final, what a terrific gesture by Chris Kerber to have John Kelly as part of that broadcast team. And part of the team as well is captain, Alex betraying Gelo, who's ready for Boston. I think all three lines of had Winnipeg had sharply line in Dallas, obviously had the, the Ben line and get your last series and all three very dangerous lines deep. I mean they played almost four lines against, you know us pretty much all three series. So couple teams over pretty top heavy and we did it pretty good job stepping up to the plate. And we feel like we have a good matchup, regardless of who's out there on the on the front end on the back end so sooner style in terms of how they use their lineup different types of players. But. Who make sure we're prepared on how to have success against them? Yes, they are very good lines. They are fast. They're strong. They can score, but the blues have Jordan Bennington, and he has been a huge difference in this entire postseason. The blues goaltender has been terrific. However, listen to Bruce Cassidy here he's the Bruins coach, and he recognizes that Bennington has played in the Bruins system. Take a listen to this. Well, I'd like to think it will help us down in providence. So there's a lecture there, I don't think it will affect Bennington much. He's playing while sure he's going to be on his game. Play the way he plays even though there might be a little more inside information that we'd have than maybe a San Jose did. Really? Here's what Bennington says about that is good. I guess. Good hockey team and they got some talented players. So we'll just we'll see how we handle it. What about playing in providence, fortunate for them to take me in gained some experience and a great organization over there. Lots of good players and good cities flaws very fortunate to get an opportunity to play last year and get some experience or my belt and take into this here. Tough to get into his head, no matter what, how you go with your gamesmanship as the blues play tonight against the Bruins at seven o'clock to baseball, John, the cardinals got only two.

"And showing what he can do think about the confidence that this guy is showing right now, Amy and he's not even playing in power play minutes. Like he's playing five on five. And he's having this success at eighteen years old. I mean, Robert Thomas nineteen nineteen. I'm sorry. Nineteen years old Robert Thomas has gone from a prospect that everybody's talking about to a guy that is performing and showing shades of somebody who belongs in the National Hockey League. Yeah, he has I think the most tangible improvement game by game of anyone on this roster. And I know he's the rookie the rookie that we're all watching. I guess you could even say in the league he has been stepping up his play. And it's those moments. I always use the phrase razzle dazzle because I love two words. Word two words, I've used it. And I love using that word with Robert Thomas because that's what you start to see when you saw him was it scandal on McCabe that he just completely undressed to get the puck to the net. To Pat, maroon down scored unbelievable. He wins a battle along the boards. I'm talking about last night's game. Skews me against the buffalo. Sabres wins a battle along the boards. Just skates skates. The socks off. Can you say that he skates skates off, no escape their socks off? Not really sure if that makes hawks are up to the knee though, like it's pretty impossible. Yeah. The socks all good. He is. Oh. Go down Thomas to maroon goal am like that. At that. Is that elite highlight reel player he's got three points in his last four games, including the multi point night last night against the Buffalo Sabres and really only the third time this season that he's had a multi point game to assist against Vegas in November two assists against Nashville in November. But Amy this was the first time that Robert Thomas has amassed three shots on goal in a game this season he had five shots on goal last night five five shots on goal. He played over thirteen minutes of ice time. And again that goal by Pat, maroon just used confidence from him. I mean to be able to to skate through two defenders that close to the crease and get that passed pattern liquor regardless if there was an incredible play by maroon to get that shot off of Hutton's back and into the net behind the goal line. But beyond. That it was getting the past to him. And it's not just Thomas. It's that line of Pat maroon in Tyler Bosak in talking with Pat maroon today about just his play overall in that line. He talked about receiving confidence from his head coach myself. I just said..

Faceoff six thirty four the pre-game at at noon, I will fight Cam Jansen in the broadcast booth. No, not really, but there were some teammates fighting yesterday. And we'll be talking about that on our blues game day podcast sponsored by American Eagle credit union. It'll be on Google play. I tunes and cable. Dot com. What the world was going on yesterday. Well, a little frustration and the blues teammates have seen this before fact, Pat, maroon says that it's happened to him. And he says look these kind of things can be good. Sometimes people get heated frustrations mean. I mean. I love that stuff. I think it's great. Well, the fans don't think that things have been going very great for the blues. In fact, they want to know where was the fire on Sunday when the blues lost the Canucks six to one. Now, if you're a betting person, you would probably bet on the blues to win tonight because that's kind of how it's been a follow up. They win they lose. They can't string together consistent victories. And so the blues trying to get it rolling tonight. Try to find some sort of spark maybe that's part of it. It was Curtis. Sanford R Zach Sanford, rather Zach Sanford and Robert two-zone who scrapped in practice yesterday. And it was Pat maroon who was watching in. The meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks are eight and five hundred scoring touchdowns off to Minnesota miscues in a twenty one seven win over the Vikings yesterday. The Seahawks were up six nothing was kind of a boring game until Chris Carson scored on a two yard run following a blocked field goal attempt to just eighteen seconds later. Justin Coleman brought back. A fumbled twenty nine yards for a game. Clinching TD. Hawks rate and five so hanging around that NFC playoff picture. The royals have landed Billy Hamilton, he's the former reds center fielder. He gets one year five point two five million dollar contract for next season that includes up to one million dollars in incentives. Hamilton was a real pain in the cardinals side. He's not a very good hitter a lifetime to thirty-six hitter. But he stole at least fifty basis four straight seasons. He had thirty four steals last year. He made some dramatic catches in the outfield against the cardinals. He is out of the division now and playing for the Kansas City Royals Kansas is atop the men's basketball poll. The new one just came out yesterday. Duke is number two Tennessee after knocking off number one Gonzaga checks in at number three Gonzaga is four Michigan state is five Kansas almost lost though falling to possibly New Mexico state. But they ended up edging them by three points in Lawrence. So they are the number one team in the nation. I'm tom. Ackerman on the home of the best cardinals and blues coverage ginger news.

It's gonna be really cool. You know, our our co worker in in your body and you know, Saint Louis native young page us, Ben Friedman, you know, he says, you own some money. What's what's up with that? Basically, we went on a golf trip to Boston and then decided to finish the trip off in Florida. That was about a three hour flight. So it was awesome, great guys. Great golf, great weather. With the helicopters part of the original triplet. So is that like rich guys the side and just get helicopters.
