"In the Monday after the final game of the regular season. We call black Monday because it's win. A lot of these coaches get fired on black Monday last year. Six coaches were fired. Do you think we could see a similar bloodbath. This time time down you do start to run a little bit. Then right if Detroit's not gonNA make a move if the judge aren't GonNa make a move and let's say for the SAKE LAKE OF ARGUMENT CLEVELAND'S NOT GONNA make a move. Let's say for the sake of argument Dan Quinn going to save his job in Atlanta. It gets hard to get to six from there right like if you just like. Just there's these these are just situations. We're watching right. Giants Jacksonville Carolina and Washington are already open. That's only four and I mean I don't think you're gonNA see too much more than that. Now there's always a surprise like yeah I think everybody says well there's always a surprise and one of my editors asked me yesterday. What do you think surprised will be? Yeah it wouldn't be a surprise but if we believe the jets and the lions and if we think. The BROWNS AREN'T GONNA move on from credit kitchens. That could be a little bit of a lighter turnover here at head coach. What is it like for you? When do you start hearing murmurs that someone is going to get like? Oh weeks out. They you start hearing those murmur. It's kind of like we've been talking about right. You kind of try and figure out what the situations are that you need to keep track of from what I do if I didn't start calling sources on this until Saturday Sunday. Seventeen Monday after seventeen. No one called me back so I've got no already and have groundwork like hey if you hear something on this situation nations can you keep me posted if if you've done it right and you've done the advance work. You can be institutions to know what's going on and maybe you know if you're lucky either. I break one. You told us what these days are like for you. What are they like for the people inside these organizations because obviously the shock waves go far are beyond any one coach? Oh Yeah I mean. That's that's the other thing check in with here. Is People you know staff it. Hey you're doing all right. Head coach gets fired. They don't announce that often coach got fired. And the quarterbacks coach got fired or the defensive backs coach got fired but but on a a lot of cases that may be someone you have a relationship with. That's an instance. Where yes I mean? Sometimes those guys can give information but you know in the the business of making sure that you build sources who trust you that today to kind of reach out and say hey. I'm not looking for anything. I just WANNA make sure you're all right. I remember after coughing coffin got fired. Pat Flaherty had been his offensive line coach the whole twelve years when I talked to pat the following year. He's in San Francisco with Chip Kelly. You should man. I had twelve years in one place to raise my kids. They weren't doing all through school in one place like my business. That is unheard of so. He was really appreciative of fat. Most of the time it's opposite I think thank each time. They wonder whether they're going to get cast. They are in limbo a lot of time. 'cause they're contractors still running and they're waiting the head coach is. Do you think going into Monday. Many of these teams already have an idea as to who they want. A target for. The coach's Curtis replacement on Monday. Monday night you'll see. Reports of permission slips going in the only team has requested permission to interview the the offense coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts the defensive coordinator in the San Francisco Forty niners etc so every owner. WHO's thinking about a change even owners that aren't thinking about changes? Most of them Keith Piles of coaching prospect. That they liked interested in for when the day inevitably comes..

"Rebuild. It's taking place right in your neck of the west. It's it's pretty big. You know. It's a five year plan. Stephen ross is dedicated to that five years. It's not going to be a quick fix. That's for sure <hes> you know. This is a full-blown rebuilt. You know that's that's the biggest thing about. I think everyone internally is bought into that. I don't think that there's going to be this idea that they're gonna start tanking games. That's not floors is mindset right. It's tough to be being a new building intel guys not to go. You know thousand percent now some of their decisions playing younger guys things of that nature will that transpire. I'm sure but from a rebuild perspective. I think this is the right way to do it. They want to do it through the draft. Now you know hopefully they continue to to do it that way because already this week right they're talking about being one of the leading candidates to trade for dave and cloudy. There's a lot of draft capital that they have going into twenty twenty twenty. Hopefully they stay true in build through the draft. When you look at what they're doing on the offensive side i mean and we know about josh rosen and ryan fitzpatrick. We look at how bad some of the numbers were from a total offensive standpoint. Their struggles on third downs the receiving core in my opinion instill a little bit underrated. There are some nice pieces. They're running back situation kenyan drake in a walking boot. They say he's going to be ready to go. I mean what do you expect or what do you you need to see from our perspective to know that the dolphins are making a step in the right direction because interestingly enough. This is still a team. That's thrived in their home games. During the month of september i believe leave their forty two and eighteen since nineteen eighty four games played in miami early pretty hot down here no question about it and then with the change in o._t._a.'s in camp. I've been things that teams aren't allowed to do now under the new c._b._a. Guys aren't in shape so but the schedules brutal we talk about the offense. It's obviously got serious question marks. She got a new oh see and chat o'shea. He's never played before <hes> and then they tried to soften that burden by bringing in like a veteran presence in jim caldwell. He left the team in the middle of july with health issues. The offensive line coach pat flaherty. He's already been fired before. Meaningful game took place. <hes> you know the quarterback quarterback situation is interesting and it comes down to d want to start the better quarterback. That's more mobile turning thirty seven november. Do you want to find out what you have in josh rosen. I prefer the latter option but there's potential for rosen to absolutely get killed behind the dolphins offensive line and miami was second worsens aykroyd allowed they they got fifty two total sacks and the off season. You lose your starting right tackle. The denver decide to pay fifty. One million now is euler. Dealers like lots of of really really nice talent that young at the skill positions but this is the cheapest offense in the n._f._l. And i think to make matters worse the dolphins face the second toughest schedule of opposing defenses season. You know if the offensive line doesn't end up being like a collection of five matadors the skill guys can make some place <music> in so you know the talent overall. <hes> is an issue but i just think the reason why floors florist fired pat flaherty is because he had a horse waiting in the wings a little bit and i feel bad for flat fare. Pat flaherty is kind of like the the odd man out here but i'm going to butcher the guy's last name but dave diglis m._o..

"He is scared of the dark and he sleeps with the lights on because he is watched too many horror movies that to me is pretty wild and maybe something he should have kept to himself so let me ask you two questions you think Anthony Davis should have kept his fear of the dark to himself yes I think that's an embarrassing thing to admit especially sleeping with the lights on the same guy that wore the Looney Tunes tee shirt that's all folks everything that he's done and said in the last six months has been bizarre to me so I'm not a big Anthony Davis fan I think I'll do some great things with lebron but that's another check in cause for concern of from a Laker fan do you have any irrational fears yourself that you would like to disclose to the listening but no I'm pretty good other than heights I mean really high heights you know like going out on the edge in taking a selfie at the Grand Canyon and maybe talking or doing something I'm good with all that I don't have many fears but really hi hi hi hi so I'm not the guy that goes to the edge of looks over yesterday you told everyone where you got your name JT the brick from used to call the show break rhymes with Nick your big Knicks fan Carmelo Anthony former New York knick who doesn't have a basketball team right now wants to come back in once a farewell tour kind of like doing Wade got last year his former trainer told the breakfast club radio show in New York that Carmelo wants to come back for one more year the whole way in weight thing where he walks around and gets applauded by the crowd gets his tribute videos at halftime and then also does the Jersey swap after the games of fellow star players do you sing Carmelo Anthony deserves a farewell tour absolutely not a matter of fact when Wade made the best of it because he's playing at a high level he was still elevating playing in big games that counted he came up with the swap of the Jersey which was fantastic Carmel on do you need to just go away he should have a tribute at the garden I think they should have a tribute maybe in one of two places but if he doesn't make a roster or he doesn't come back I think Carmelo needs to go away quietly and remember Carmelo's got a great legacy with USA basketball I'd like to see him come back for the World Cup and the Olympics I think that be the best way for him to go out all right we're going to the NFL now the Miami Dolphins they have not had a lot of luck with their offense of line coach is in fact and have Alvin play this audio right here right now I often go ahead miss you I'll jump in that side Chris Forster former offense of line coach snorting a white powdery substance off of table that was in his office said Miami Dolphins headquarters we don't know what that substance was but we can assume he sent that video to his eye what he thought was his girlfriend of time in Vegas she was an adult entertainer she like the video he was fired for practices in the dolphins have now fired their new offense of line coach Pat Flaherty this is really weird the kind of luck that they're having with our offense of line coach is so what's the worst look getting fired for training camp practices in or getting fired for doing out rails of white powdery substance at your desk cutting big fatties and videotaping yourself on Facebook live or whatever is still the low moment in golf and coaching history so whatever coach gets fired coaches are able to move on in life but that was a low moment thing dolphin history I don't think that will ever be over ten great.

"Regret starts to seep in present day there Morey the rockets a general manager are you waiting for the apology or do you want to wait to the very end of the interview I should go at ninety nine point you can never say never I never thought would become available in our choir and once for example I was something that we are interested in and and that's a matter of just working out the details broadcasting from the Mercedes man K. here's Dan Patrick final hour on this Tuesday Dan in the Dennis stand Patrick show we touched on a variety of topics today if you're just joining us Jerry Jones talking about the whole down with Ezekiel Elliott saying you don't have to have a guy who leads the league in rushing to win a Superbowl probably not but you do need Ezekiel Elliott if you're going to sniff a Superbowl anytime soon in Dallas we also talked about Aaron Rodgers there was a article a list that was put out by Bucky Brooks former NFL player now works for the NFL network and he had Erin Rogers as over rated that was the headline there Aaron Rodgers not amongst the top five quarterbacks heading into this season according to a bucket and the clippers may be changing their nickname and some people of actually offered some reasonable legitimate possible nicknames if that happens with the clippers so that suit that you're caught up if you're just joining us now coming up this final hour David spade great comedian has a new show on Comedy Central I think it's called lights out it's after the daily show then David will join is coming up it's always fun to have on it so sneaky snarky right up our alley also we'll talk to Andrew Brandt he is a former Packers executive want to get his thoughts on the Aaron Rodgers situation and also he is a columnist for the M. M. QB and a former agent used to work at the mothership wanted to talk to him about what advice would he give Ezekiel Elliott like what's his leverage here with the Dallas Cowboys and if you're the cowboys I I just think Zeke coming back he'll get paid because Jerry Jones is not good poker player at this stage he really wants to win a Superbowl not that the other teams tone and owners don't want been Jerry really really wants to win eight seven seven three P. show email address E. P. A. Dan Patrick dot com poll question sponsored by man versus food on cooking channel the club I we still have would you rather have the best wide receiver or running back in the NFL fifty nine percent now go running back okay I would check running back I I don't think I need to have a great wide receiver I think I need to have a couple of good wide receivers I I need to have a capable tight end but I think I I have to have a running back who is able to be true in a couple different ways yeah like who's the best wide receiver Julio Jones Antonio brown the Andrea Hopkins they're all pretty good teams in those guys won't have Superbowl wins in their careers more than likely probably yeah well who's going to win Antonio brown's on winning the Superbowl Julio's gotten close couple times they're not even the best team in their own division you never know what version of that teams how how yeah of the jury Hopkins is not winning a Superbowl not in that lets you go to New England some way yeah at the end of his career maybe a latch on but in a great wide receivers don't win super bowls is it where the Steelers won their super bowls without their best wide receiver running back just goes to show you now against let me see anything else we need to mention say good morning to a radio and TV partners direct TV audience channel two thirty nine and we are live dot com you can stream all three hours here in the me a new man cave in a three intern sixty radio Felix around the country more phone calls coming up and then we'll check in with Andrew Brandt the former agent he was with the Packers for I think a decade so we'll talk to him coming up couple other things that I didn't mention the extremely stable dolphins have fired their offense of line coach Pat Flaherty was only there for a week I think then they said he couldn't adopt or adapt to what we're doing our philosophy and it's still Julyan units fired offense of line coach boys settle in their Josh Rosen should be a fun ride in Miami yes you and like what's happening at offense of line practice that you like in and it's just been a terrible week I'm sorry we got to let you go yeah this guy's not gonna be able to cut it but we just don't see a future with you here you just brought in a rookie head coach and then now was this offense of line coach was he a holdover now he'd been somewhere else he was with the giants before yeah but I I don't I don't know what happened the coach at all spring and for her is it all spring the was a be able to implement the the system so it's it's so complicated I guess so I mean they're gonna have to block the looks like the old man's gonna be behind center did you see this headline the head coach Brian floors says Ryan Fitzpatrick right now who's your her his quarterback who is leading in the star yep this is the dumbest middle of the entire NFL season has started here's why because they'll bring it bring in fits Patrick it's Ryan Ryan Fitzpatrick who go three and one B. player of the month of September yep he'll take the dolphins right out of contention for a spot in the top of the draft and then I'll delay putting Josh Rosen in test driving Josh rose and find out what you got there and they will get to whoever is the quarterback is gonna be the probably six in ten with Ryan yeah you don't want to be six into that's what they're gonna do it right yes it right if I'm dolphins management and somebody makes the decision the head coach makes this the decision to start Ryan Fitzpatrick I immediately fire him yeah him and right away fire everybody black allow me like I will just take it over forget it but just Josh rose and give you a better chance to win and that's what you don't want Josh Rosen may give you a better chance to lose because he's an experience right that's Patrick what pull a few games out of his you know what but Josh Rosen you you you stole him you got him for nothing give a test drive sixteen games left and see if you got it and after sixteen games all now we have seen this story a thousand times already at least three times we've seen this story let me bring in Andrew Brandt columnist and MM QB the former Packers executive former agents what do you think of what we're saying for the Miami Dolphins in what they should do always good to be with you did and you know I look at these two quarterbacks as want to the more interesting business of football stories of the year after to business of football hall of Famer I mean he keeps making money keeps getting multiple millions from these teams that just one of the stop gap yet he you know he finds a way and Josh Rosen gets picked number ten in the draft gets the huge bonus from Arizona gets millions and millions from them and they don't even use them after a year or so I just think this is always the dilemma so Josh Rosenthal like a first round pick even though it's a year removed and do you have the stop gap or do you not last year Baker Mayfield sits behind Tyrod Taylor Josh McCown ahead as Sam Donald Lamar Jackson behind Joe Flacco all these guys are just kind of waiting so this is the question you just debating why wait why wait because the guy was gonna growing pains at some point so get rid of all right we're the growing pains as soon as possible I don't understand the sign of these ten to fifteen million dollars stop dance every year I'll get your thoughts on Ezekiel Elliott and if you are his agent what would your leverage BA I don't know if you saw Bucky Brooks is article his list of the top quarterbacks five quarterbacks going into this season but Aaron Rodgers was not on the top five list and the headline was Aaron Rodgers is over rated what do you make of that former Packers executive yeah the guy was in the room drafting Aaron Rodgers not gonna get a good response out of me I mean I think is the most talented quarterback in the league I just don't you know I would put up there with my homes in that category I just don't understand that it's better now can you can you answer this as a guy who is not yet made you can't do it objectively because you yeah you know you bought into Aaron Rodgers and said drafting when you're with the Packers but he's the most talented we all talk about that that's what we always start with with Aaron Rodgers he's the most talented okay is he the best quarterback I mean listen I'm going to say yes I do understand the looking at the recent sample size it wasn't good you know played at again sending him I guess last year game one knee injury lingers all year by the way a game they beat the bears I just think that it got still with Mike I talked about that before you know I heard Mike thirteen years ago thirteen years with Aaron Rodgers got stale and you could tell in the offense nothing against either of them no one's fault relationships get that way so I think we'll see a different Aaron Rodgers with the new coach do you think that he if I said you can have Patrick my homes were Aaron Rodgers this is yeah I get my bias is showing all taken in the season you to me five seasons of course and taken homes if you're Z. Kelly it's agent yeah what is your strategy here and what leverage via well you're hoping you're hoping that there's a realization that as good as they can be they can be a lot better with Elliott they know that you're hearing all the devaluation of running back stories you're hearing about and you know Todd Gurley is replaced by a journeyman and they continued seamlessly hearing about seventh round running backs coming out every year and having thousand yard seasons he just got to play to the point that that's all fine but this guy is truly special and there aren't many and you can count on less than one hand and he's that guy so with someone special all that goes out the window and you Pam at the top of the market now all rather than waiting until he's more situated contract wise to do that but he's got two years left on this deal and so it's not even like dak Prescott and Marc Cooper they're coming up sooner than him and it would feel like in the locker room take care of the guys who were up sooner than Zeke Elliott but can I can I give him a contract that does give him money extends him but it's also team friendly yeah I think that's what's going to happen now everything I was just saying I'm putting on my attackers have my executive patents IVR arguments to refute that couple which you just mentioned here's the problem not only did the valuation of running backs but.

"End of April last year? So spring training though, is that tees where we start to think about the sun and warmth, and I'm obsessed with it because I brought it up seventeen times during this program, which started at two o'clock. Let's go back to the calls at eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six. No sound effect. Thank you. When you have to ask for it. It kind of loses the luster to be honest. I was hoping you'd give the number again that I was going to do it twice. But I'm sitting here thinking that I get the Dr number wrong. You're going to get the number. We'll see I'm bringing a signed tomorrow on poster board. Let's go to Bobby and stores. Connecticut. What's up Bobby came? First of all, I'm glad you're feeling better. That's most important. Thank you very much. Thank you. I have a two part question. And you're the perfect person McGee NFL network. Okay. As far as coaches and tight ends coach is how important are they? Because I have a follow up question. What was the worst often you broke up? What was the first thing? How important coach the running back the running back coaches and the tight end coaches on a professional NFL team. How important are they? Or are. They just figure. Question. I I wanna know. I think coaching in general is vitally important. And I think it obviously it oftentimes makes the difference in an NFL game. So I think really important okay with that said the jets hired a coach this week which flew under the radar, but it's me Jim buy. Yes. He came from Yukon. He was he was the offensive coordinator. I'm the worst team in college football. Okay. How did this guy? Get a job with the jets. And it's mind boggling eight we gotta job you're talking about Jim Bob cooter. No. I'm talking about done the tight ends coach. And he was the offensive coordinator this year up here. It's like Connecticut. Okay. And he was the offensive coordinator on the worst team in college football trying to understand how this guy gets a job at the tight ends coach at a professional level. It's mind boggling to me. Mind boggling. But when I said Jim Bob earlier, and you said, yes, I thought you took Bobby it's okay. First of all, I don't know him. I don't know his background like you do the one thing. I would tell you is coaches who don't succeed often get other chances. He's in a different role. He certainly is not the offensive coordinator of the jets. He's a tight ends coach. He may have principals in this coaching background or pedigree that Adam gays agrees with or subscribes to clearly add listen, the whole jets coaching staff is going to be interesting to me, I wasn't necessarily to be honest with you, including the tight end out when I said that earlier, but we'll see we'll see and I will say this. I don't think a position coach, you know, what I'm not gonna say that I think a position coach can make a vast difference in the way a group of players performs and therefore in the way team performs, and I gave what I believe to be the best current example. I believe to be the best current example in Dante's. Nekia with the patriots and the offensive line there. Another interesting example to me is Pat Flaherty who did a very good job with the giants. His former linemen absolutely love him. It didn't work with him and Eric flowers. He went on he went to Jacksonville. And now he has joined Brian Flora's staff with the dolphins as the offensive line coach. So we'll see how that goes. I do think I do think position coaches can make big differences, and then they can get big rewards for it. I think down taste garlicky is the best at what he does. I'm not alone in that. That is not a novel thought that is the consensus. I believe in the NFL. Let's go to Chris in Kingston, New York. What's up? Chris. How're you? I I wanna tell you what I think is to do with the quarterback position. Then I'm going to hear what you what do you think? They're gonna do. Okay. I think they're gonna drive Haskins. But draft they might have to move off. And it's okay..

"Here's where maggie's a great teammate. I look over his undoing this read, and she gives me a reassuring. Look like, yeah. Sure. I'm listening. That's not what I was thinking my life coach, I was thinking actually a little bit about the Celtics near talking about the money line. We watch the Celtics last night because the Netscape we did they look out of sorts. There's something weird going on there. Hey, let's say no Cairo. Yeah. Yeah. Here's a little bit of news since we're talking about the giants. The Indianapolis Colts our parting ways with their offense of line coach, Dave googly Elmo. Yeah. All name team. But there wasn't he with the patriots. Unbelievable one point. Yes. And I think that. That would be smart place to look Frank Reich apparently has his own offense of lying guy that he wants to bring in. Of course, he didn't get to pick any of his assistants when he took the job because they wanted to do right by the assistant who thought they were coming with Josh mcdaniels. And now you of it offensive line coach. And I thought the colts offensive line say what you will about that divisional round game where they got thrown around a little bit. But through the second half of the season. They had a great year. They also spend high draft picks on offense lineman that worked out I could go there. I could go. Pat, Flaherty are the Jaguars left. And has a long history with the giants. I think either way you couldn't go wrong there Shurmur specialties opposed to be offensive line. Like, he's not really supposed to be the offense coordinator he's supposed to be like the offense of Lyman guru. He's the offense coordinator and the head coach, but he's supposed to fill a lot of those. I get that. But it seemed like technically Shula's the offense coordinator. But we know that Shurmur calling the play it just feels like because because. That's why buffalo that was Rex downfall. Because yeah, he's the head coach and he's the defense coordinator. But you gotta make sure that your specialty is a specialty. So maybe he should grown somebody that he knows that he can trust. Because these guys that you bring in somebody from from from Indianapolis, somebody that's a guru may have a different opinion about how to get it done. And I'll tell you what a lot of these guys that are successful one thing. They're not good with being able to hear new ideas as pepper Johnson stated Todd Bowles in want to listen to new ideas. So I think that could be a good thing. But it could be a bad thing to you could argue that the giants could use a couple of new ideas when it comes off. Exactly. So could Todd Bowles from pepper Johnson? Who's been a great defense a player in his league? You'll learn from different people. It seems like it could it could be potentially something that could rub people wrong, and it could be. An easy relationship intention within the building. I think sometimes it's great to have great teachers. But sometimes better to have people that you liked that see the game the same way that you see it. All right couple things. Number one the poll is up. What is the best option for the giants in two thousand nineteen axiom? Be WFAN draft Murray draft Haskins false or the free agent route or Eli and law Letta go there and vote and CNBC WFAN. We'll update the results a little bit later on. Now. One other thing that keep in mind before we get back to the calls about Murray, and we discussed this briefly last week, but it's worth bringing up again cliff Kingsbury cliff kingsborough said that Keiler Murray is a freak and this before he took the cardinals job. And if he had the number one pick of the draft. He would check our Murray. Now, obviously the cardinals took Josh Rosen. He also said that when he was nowhere near the head coach of the cardinal. It was easy for him to say that then exactly at least raises the question is that a situation where Kingsbury goes in? He sees that guy. I want that guy. Instead of Josh Rosen. If you're the giants would you explore trading your six pick for Josh Rosen. Kingsbury guess could've Kingsbury should just be happy to be here. Labs.

"See what happened down Jacksonville today? Three or four members of the coaching staff got cut loose Tyrone Wheatley because the whole mess with the running backs who else got cut loose Pat Flaherty the giants former offensive line and the offensive line coach and the guy that they've had the most success with on that offense. They brought back. They brought back. Oh, mommy and flowers. I know he was like, really. Yeah. Well, they tried chicken salad at a you know, what if the giants were smart. They would hire Pat Flaherty yesterday. Bring him back so quickly because that is an underrated move that really played a big role in how poorly the offensive line is played the last few years. Look a coach. Tell me this tell me this how much of an influence can I good position coach have especially on a group like that that has to work. So cohesively is invaluable. I always say the best the best office of line coach ever been around was Bill Callahan. I mean, these guys knew he he knew how to block how to set up certain fronts. These guys were amazing. You think about Thomas Joel how he rushed the ball? You know, when I got here, and let's think about Mike Montek and what he what he did in Pittsburgh. Remember it was like a head coaching candidate again. Because man that I mean that might have been top five office line at the game. So that's invaluable, you know, being able to have somebody that can get guys to play at their optimum level. Get guys to have the answers to the questions that's going to present themselves because I always loved being around coaches that were teachers Bob Sutton was a teacher single, Terry, whatever. But. Bob, Sutton, GAAS like that teach you how to think and give you the tools that you need to figure it out because there's always going to be something out there that you're not prepared for and if you create guys that can think the game and that can work together. And it doesn't matter if it's the right thing as long as you guys on the same page, you have idea how you want to try to to to stop something is invaluable. And that's what I feel where the jets lack adult see teachers. I don't see a smart team. Listen, you can not be talented. I can live with that. But what I can't live with this dumb football players. That's what I see what I look at preset penalties. I mean, a lot of which is just over and over and over again and a lot of blown coverages. The patriots got him on same play two different to what I say dumb. I mean for Paul argument. Yeah. They don't have situational football. It's like, it's like isn't take you to Monday to figure out what the team is doing to you. Like, oh, this is what they're doing to us to sit down with a clicker slow motion say, oh, man, they run and pick plays or the goal condensing getting in man to man, it shouldn't take that happens to you. Choose it happens. You should be able to go to the silent. Let's be honest say colts. This is what they're doing. We need to get out of this. Or we need to say, okay. If this guy goes in motion, again, we need to have our defensive end or outside linebacker deal with him. Because no way I could be a one-sided have a man to man, he goes behind the line of scrimmage, and I'm supposed to go behind the linebackers behind the defensive end in a detangle says get pushed back it wrote to on their trash you expect me to beat this guy on the other side. That's a stupid. Yeah. But we know that one big issue with the jets this year was they didn't make a lot of halftime adjustments. That was the place where they've really struggled. But you know, what? Listen, we're talking about offensive line. Right. We know that the jets have to address. There's obviously the giants still have a lot to do. I mean when you have a team if they are going to keep you alive for next year and saquon Barkley such a big part of what you're doing. I mean to have an offensive line is absolutely everything. And it's just interesting for me. What I hear Dave Gettleman, say alike can still like make the throws right? When people talk about I can still make the throws boomer still make throws is that answering the question of who's the best quarterback, you could possibly have is that answering the question who gives you the best chance to actually break out of this Malays that the giants seemed to be in is that answer that question can make the throws. No see to me. I think the giants fans I know marash for saying this after and he's got a giant tattoos. So biggest fan out there. But he said, you would you like the fact that they did not fully commit to manning being the quarterback in that press conference today. Just because last year at this time all we heard about was away. My man who's gonna be our quarterback next year. We watched a tape of the Philadelphia Eagles. It was all an execution apology tour for ally. And today, you're hearing things like honest conversation. It had no holds bar. You didn't hear any of that last year? So to me that's a sign, you know, acknowledged that it's about to be time to move on. Otherwise, why would there be any need for blunt honesty? Right, but Monica where are you on this? I think without question is gonna be the quarterback next year. I don't think there's any draft one with him though. They may I still have to commit. I just think it's I have a hard time looking at the draft the opportunity they had last year and the ability to pass on it. I think they have to have an absolute no brainer to move on from the situation right now. And I don't think the situation is going to prevent it. So. Who's the other gold jacket person who could say listen, this pass rusher is going to be a gold or this on the kid from Alabama's? Many calls for me to be convinced that they think they can upgrade over Eli or upgrade their future at that six pick. I if they didn't do it last year at number two. I just can't imagine them doing it this year at number six. Imagine it ventured Charlottesville. What's going on vets? Good afternoon. It's a privilege to talk to you. All right knowledgeable. Thanks. It's been a welcome. I've been experienced entrance entranceway settle Charlie. Conley time, I think they should leave loan. I feel they're gonna do dirty and grooming the path to cut him. I don't have to pay this five million dollars thing in March. They've got so many holes on the defense side all sense of line. I wish they would take care of that and leave alone. Well, you're taking that well the way that they can fill those holes is getting some of that salary Carolee from allies massive contract. Remember, nobody's made more money in a NFL period than Eli manning. Nobody. So I mean, I don't feel like they should feel like they have to do him a solid because I feel like they did a solid listening to Joe and Evan coming in. And I didn't realize this as well. That was drafted. Brett Farr was only thirty five years old. Some headed you talking about Brett farve. And when you go talk about canton, canton, you we believe that ally will be there eventually Dipper is different sections in canton. You know, Brett Farr first ballot hall of Famer they picked a quarterback in the first round coming off a ten in six season hasn't been to the playoffs. He's been players once in seven years, you guys got to say, listen, man. It happens to everybody habit to Joe Montana. Like if you if you want to help the team you'll give some of that money back. You'll when you when you're taking it is funny. Right. When you look at it. Let's look at the playoffs. Right. Who's who's the six top pay players at the quarterback position? Right. Let's check this out. I believe is Aaron Rodgers Matt Ryan Kirk cousins Jimmy G Matthew Stafford and Derek Carr. What do all those guys have in common? Watching from the vantage point, the Meon are exactly the new model in the NFL is get a young quarterback. He doesn't have to be great. But it allows you to get hired guns to have so much depth or your football team that you can go out and you could make mistakes because you can cover them up when you have a quarterback that's making as much money as Eli manning. And some of these other quarterbacks you better hit on every free agent. You better hit on every draft pick. How do you think the Minnesota Vikings feel right now? And by the way. Mike maccagnan should by Kirk cousins, a new car for not even considering the jets. Could've been think about how bad of a situation that could also fire think about his legacy of quarterbacks then. Wow. Hackenberg petty. For ninety million top. Although listen, you do also very high pay quarterbacks. Who are? I mean isn't drew Brees one of the highest payed. He's not one of the things. He's never turned down and never turned down a dollar. Super Bowl, but they hit they hit on every draft pick. But you also have an and they they decided not to play pay Brandin cooks, but they were able to get Michael Thomas. The thing too about Baltimore. I mean, they are unbelievably. Astute. I guess or lucky that it's worked out the way it has with flacco mar. How what is Philip rivers not getting paid? Not one of the top six is paid who the hell else? Are they play it out there? Bryan. And Connecticut time, hey, how you guys doing good? I wanna come from a different perspective on a little bit different with Eli. I mean, I just I saw expressed like how much this guy. Like, I mean, it might sound weird. But like like inspired me as a professional of being able to handle situations. And I guess the perspective I'm coming from is, you know, I would actually rather out on the giants next year because personally is so hard to bear him taking him. I'm doing it for factually. He actually like painful for me. Whether he's on another team or he retires. I just I did not see him out in the field. And I'm happy to answer questions about a little bit of things here here, and there, maybe you know, interceptions gonna happen. A bad throw him handling professionally. Hey, brian. This is what he likes going to have to ask him. I want to I want to respond to this. But I'm actually going to bequeath my response to Sean marash who said this in my ear. All you feel bad for the deal with this two Super Bowls. These stop you feel bad for him. Or don't call again. I don't know why people do feel bad. I mean was it everyone. I drove this guy over there. So we hear about some. Manning is the highest paid quarterback for for a career earnings in NFL history. For him. He's okay. And by the way, this is a decision that he's going to be making..
