Cleveland zone you I haven't heard in a long time. Been a minute jam though clinton hanging out today always happy to have you aboard. Sir thank you for hanging out today. No doubt man. Glad to be your got to hear your voice to. We've been all over the country. Yeah you know. We've been traveling. You know trying to make it work. So i'm glad to be back with you for know back on the road tomorrow and it because now we both live in la. Like i can't do around the horn with you anymore. Know that's unfortunately we still have those moments where we could do the show but it Unless you know what i will do is. I'm going to tell around the horn. Whenever i have like a vegas trip like for you have see. I'm just gonna stay on monday and be like hey put me on it. Put me on a monday. I'm down you know what i'm saying. That's that's great speaking of road trips. Though yeah your boy just got off of one with the woman. I loved loved. J. grow and we went from dallas. Tejas all the way to los angeles. And i gotta tell you something. Driving driving bro. It took five days where we drove during the day. Where'd you stop. We stopped in midland texas. Which okay if you know. Anything about friday night lights is right near permian home of permian high where that book was written that begat the movie that begat the tv series. That made busier so rich that he found himself partying on gucci planes with people he'd never met before from all over the globe anyway so we passed through there. Then we stopped in el paso for a little bit because the battle by the way for those of. You don't know texas huge. Getting out of texas alone is half the battle. So we stopped in el paso but then we made it to tucson wildcat country and you know college home of over james gronkowski one of my favorite players in the nfl. That was great and then we went into phoenix. And we we went to a baseball game in phoenix. It was a wednesday afternoon middle of the day and they were playing the rangers. Lindsey there might have been fifteen hundred people. There might have been. It was the least attended major league baseball over not even close. Well had a lot to tell you. I mean you were there right. I'm just saying i was there. I just wanted to know. Have you ever been to a game where you thought. This is friends and family. Max i mean not a major league baseball game. No not that no. It's that's pretty bad very well. It was it was. Shut out to my man mike farren. Mlb network. he's great. He's radio guy so he does a lot of stuff. You're in the play by play world now george. I'm mentioning him but the big bs still has he starts was that we were staying in tempe and we pull up to the hotel and we're looking at the. I can't remember the name of the of the theater now but if you know the asu campus and there's a big hamilton trailer out there and we're thinking okay. That's cool hamilton's coming to town. Whenever so i go to the bar later that night. She's getting ready to go to sleep. I said you know what. Let me go. throw some things away. Have a quick one. And i'll i'll come back up and the guy places dead dead. The hotel bar guy says yeah. I'm hoping that the play brings me some more business. And i go. What do you mean he goes. Well hamilton's here now ago. What do you mean now. He goes the premiers tomorrow. I said oh really which straight on my phone. I've never seen it live. This was the first show. Back for the touring cast of hamilton. And it happened to be literally walking distance and we went. It was great. I got see hamilton not even playing and just walked across the street. And i gotta say this. There is a role of the person who is the conductor and also plays music at the same time goes is the beat master bro. I listen him. There's a great performance. Some of the best lighting. I've ever seen in any show. The songs are obviously tremendous. I was transfixed by this beat master dude. He was conducting and playing the keys at the same time. You know the talent level on my man was out of control anyway. I got hamilton on this road trip as a whim. We made it all the way back and it was. It was a great little bonus to remind us that we can still get together and do things that is pretty awesome. T shirts and everything was great. You know where. I'd like to stop in texas a plays. I've never been. I saw anthony. Bourdain go to. He did like parts unknown in west texas. And he's not a place called marfa. Oh prada marfa we went. We did a whole photo shoot. Was a whole thing and guess what the place was packed. there's this little profiting it's actually in marfa. It's on the side of the road. Fun fact we got pulled over there for going five miles an hour over the limit because apparently a lot of people speed down there. Because they're trying to get to that thing and there's coyotes that jump out and there's only a the the closest hospital is like an hour away so they don't want people speaking at all but yeah we went. There took a couple of photos. Marfa what we were there. Yeah i've been dying to check that out. Because just i when i saw it on board dane show that one time i was like that looks like a cool place to go have a beer. Yeah it was great so you know the trip is done and now i'm traveling the country for college football but if you ever get a chance to drive through the southwest i mean the rocks in the mountains the stuff you see i mean it is really quite the marvel and you could sort of see it on tv and you can hear about it but when you're moving through those hills it is. It is betting for sure there is a new company where you can rent. Rv where it's a lot cheaper. It was all over espn's college football covers the first week or two of the season. I forgot the name of the place. It's got like a funny name. I'm not familiar. You know what. I'll ask mark jones or someone like that because i called those games early in the year on. Yeah he just remember the name of the whatever. The rv rental places wasn't cruise. America no no. That's not a weird. A wacky name yet. But i will remember. I'll go back. I have probably some games recorded. That i can go back to. And i'm going to edit this footage we mixed in a dash cam. So i'm going to post that to twitter. I probably put that on g later this weekend. We literally did it. From all the way from el paso to los angeles including a trip to up the coast on the p. c. h..

Returning to the Public Eye, Trump Will Head to US-Mexico Border
"Trump is set to visit the US Mexico border this week, just days after Vice President Kamala Harris made her own visit to Texas. Both trips come at a time when many Republicans are describing the situation at the border as a quote crisis with unauthorized crossings at their highest level in decades. NPR's Joel Rose covers immigration and joins us now. Hi, Joel. Hey, Sarah. What do we know about Trump's upcoming visit? Well. He's expected to visit the Rio Grande Valley in Texas on Wednesday, along with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and a group of congressional Republicans, and they're essentially trolling the Biden administration by highlighting the high number of border crossings this year. Here's some of what Trump said last night at a rally in Ohio Illegal aliens are Overrunning their borders. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. Our poor borders was so perfect. They were so good. The rhetoric from that rally should sound very familiar to anyone who's followed former President Trump and the way he often talks about immigrants as a threat. And a burden. He is still very much on that message. It does sound familiar. We mentioned vice President Harris was at the border to what did she have to say? Right? Harris visited El Paso on Friday. It was her first trip to the border since President Biden named her to lead the administration's effort to stem migration from Central America. She met with immigration officials in El Paso, also with immigrant advocates there. Here's some of what she had to say afterwards to reporters. The work that we have to do is the work of addressing the cause. The root causes. Otherwise, we'll continue to see the effect what is happening at the border. Harris has gotten some criticism for not coming to the border sooner. She said that this trip builds on her earlier visit to Central America, where she's trying to deal with those root causes.

Maybe she came to her are sentenced for them. It was like maybe this isn't a great idea yeah. She tried to fight him kicking. I'm a country girl. I still exist. It's like i'm a major again and again. Gins crazy. Man looks fake like set up. Don't tony everybody covered it. That was the a._p. We just watched the video. <hes> shoes a black woman. Oh yeah yeah yeah. You got a good punch in the mouth. Oh yeah oh yeah she'd had a good right right piece to luke's again. That'd be <hes> online or <hes>. Deputy is actually kind of laws that mash would be on on the post <hes> for this episode on the website <hes> so another tech talk so raft. Did you see about this guy with this hover jet power jam and silver so from man yes so it so it is go up to the speed of one hundred and eighteen miles per hour but it can only carry enough euro for tim minutes at a time to fly route ten minutes at a time and he tried to cross the english channel but he made it so you make it so. We're going to try to do it again. He miscalculated you know his a refueling. Stop so but yes. It's a freshman man. He <hes> apparently <hes> already has the record for the longest hover flight <hes> which he said in two thousand sixteen but you know what when i say real hover board yeah back to the future. This is all gadget ship wrote <hes> yeah. I think i did sita's but okay home. They got they got an accident. That seem so here's the thing though how are you going to have dad and i have an accent sounded like a gopro room right dame. There has to be some hundred and eighteen miles per hour. That's in right there. I mean that's not an action shot but that's photoshop. Where's the action side. I got this yeah. Because how do you you like as as a human your body's not aerodynamically dangerous ending straight up doing a hundred and twenty miles an hour like i just i don't know the physics of that works well there. There are certain people that are like that though that can like their balance or whatever i'm not talking about the balanced silence. I'm just talking about like just the arrow dynamics of like just going f s exactly cut because you you don't have anything that's cutting through the win except for your entire torso. That's putting resistance. You know what i'm saying so so that's a lot of wind resistance that you're standing up against shot. I think i saw his holy shit okay so he's leaning forward moving. That's not a hovered. That's a jetpack goes back to the future to. I don't like shit. He's flying. He's hovering over things but now that's not like back. He's also the the topic that one of the top is that discussion that came out of this is due to call it a hover boards or or flyable. It'll say he's he's high. If you want to call it a floppy convert day. That's her right that that's her. That's not a do i look. I rang rinky frankie support him but it's a chick frankie he was. I think we've been saying we have we have yeah we we falsely assume. Do you think yeah that's a good fix. Yes very very good 'cause <hes> but yeah rome get one. Hell no i would die. Put on fly. I will give me one line. I won't get you going two hundred eighty some yeah i wouldn't do that. That's top speed. So what are you gonna do look to right. You'll being kids the kids go put them on your back. It'd be like that bro. No black box was to many fucking marble. I might let them have died and everything i hear is. Did you ever see the splattered it into the side of a bridge. Like what was that wind suit you know. Would it not any transformers transformers where they had does with israel that was you know i'm not laughing. I'm just saying indefinite like look. There's no breaks. Is you know what i'm saying like a way to stop. Yeah you just fall. How do you come down you. You just fall probably operated like elk. Can you get your ass on them. Down can offer realistic helicopter without propellers. I don't know how to make. I think that's how it goes up up. They they like. There's an air propelled thing at the bottom of it. It's not really so is in case. There's something like i guess knows planes that are able to kind of take off like like go yeah. They hover very high tech yeah those are very obvious and by the time they finish this year and roll it out to market. Get it'll be ready to go straight straight. I'm good it was lower to the ground. Maybe you can keep it right. You'll have to five the five feet wherever i won't fall and break my neck and this is flying number eight no but if you do forty five miles an hour at five feet high and you stumble or some shit. You're going to get hurt on saying i won't but i mean i'll be less hurt she now. I'm not saying i will still still do it at that. No i don't i don't even draw fans though right. You're not going to match the thing out. Let me i. I look at that what you spot. I'm not saying that i'm just saying like okay all right so we'll test it out like maybe five ten miles is by our something like that. Yeah sure but like i'm not i'm not going that fast so net thing now. You know what i wanna. Do it 'cause. How do i even catch myself because it's tied to. The dean. Come on man apparently was not gonna do anything oh yes for thirty forty fifty pairs. It's not gonna do nothing for house. You was no way you would do what she was doing on that has talk back because he knows he can't right now but when you put it in front of kenan getting his ass on ain't no way i'm not doing it and he won't even let you man as your friend. I wouldn't even let you get on that shoe. I like he gets your ass off the right right leg great late huey rahmael go ahead. Hey can recover from that shit down joe life yup right ain't never gonna be fixed all right how long we've been waiting for shit like this. Why wait no shame ole now japan now yeah you're right. If i was his age i probably would do some. You know what i'm saying. I'm saying i wouldn't even call dumb like i dumps it. When i was a kid we wound it all kind of dumps it that i wouldn't do today a day of course yeah now as a grown as man with responsibilities. I would not ever do any shit like that. I just think it's don't we we're at the point now where we can have that type shipments coming like <hes> so we took kendall to the urban air you where when we talked yesterday where we took him and it was urban air in there like this v._r. Thing they got this v._r. Thing miles try to play but he gets real so i had to get him off but they had like the tony starship with the holograms and shit like that that's on the way to like the fucking hologram displays. We're only on the corners of of this day man like all of this stuff. We've been seeing the star trek. Shit is like almost fucking summer v._r. Man this is like going out but right and being owns on our yard exactly what i'm saying. Is that the things that we grew up with that. We can only imagine what we've seen played out in cartoon form movie movie for him. <hes> is actually becoming a reality so for me to be able to actually put my hands on this technology and have it. I think it's extremely but at the same as modern flies hover board bro well they make they may one of those too yeah. They do a video tony out. It's actually pretty yeah. I think that's pretty oh no not unless it was floating over some real soft spoken over like grass like them ball pits i would do but how the how different is it than the reason why i said that's different is because it's not to outside of a skateboard so you just say well. You can get hurt on skateboards the same way you can get hurt on a hover board and this is what i'm saying. That's different what we just saw so. That's what i'm saying i i 'cause. I wouldn't even really own escape war. Today's time anyway bushmeat is when i was a kid and i definitely bust my ass now so i would still be reluctant. Get on a on a hover board the same way. I'm reluctant to get on escape on a skateboard four singles on board tony start so we're gonna. Let's do this talk. Tony hawk net tony start hover board that thing we frankie flobert work to help us differentiate now the differences if you see his hover board. It doesn't go that high so if he falls it just like rossa. You're is hurting yourself as far as like. You're on a skateboard. That's different than getting your dumb ass xactly on one of them shift that fly fucking forty five feet in the air right. That's that's all. I'm saying again and when you said hover thought that thing. I just thought it might <hes> yeah i i. I may try to but i would try the same way. I may try skateboard skateboard in today's. Tom hubbard because i think it would be. I used to skate so i kinda might still have that kind of balance a little bit. I know i don't i don't know i don't hail no anyway anyway. I think it's tight all right y'all here <hes> please don't do it. You know that'll the film it. You can make a movie out of it. We'll go viral. I bet you that yeah but you know if you did that. Sit that they have an ocean uh-huh so yeah it is an o._c. Is like the the water proposed. Look like that. I would do that. I would love to see i. I was just like that is this is this little water tank swam. I can go along too attached you <music> but it's still the same bless your arizona yeah but but it but it's over water like it'll you say it hurts less if you really truly want to do that. They already have something similar to that over water. I would do that so we're so like when it comes to roz at like six plants. I wish your limit. What type of roz do you guys. Go on. I'll get anything at a at a <music> at a museum in part because it's supposedly contained and i can and it can't fall or anything like that. People die every day. Do they die every day on joyce. He is her pop fairs if you did you see the slingshot thing i was on a that. Was that a real slingshot. Did she was on he'd be passing out on aw video. Yes we just get on something like that. It was impinging for tennessee and there was this part of one so they have a strip and they have a bunch of cars and shit like that. Is that the one that'd be passing out on you know so it is one that people pass. John and i don't know if that's the one on. I was wondering if that were to win. It seemed like they were shorter. Yeah short about didn't feel sure okay tapie. It was the same thing at the scene. People pass out on it. I don't think i would because i think the kid the kid definitely pass down this to me. Yeah yeah so yeah i wouldn't. I just for that very reason like i would just wouldn't because i'm saying hourly seen people pass out on it. I don't wanna i don't wanna do i wanna have fun. I don't wanna wanna fucking parents out passing out and it was a thrill. I pass out how how much the thrill is it. Then as you dude yourself around the rest of the day would do all in your pants. I wrote a slingshot but you might. That's the thing i haven't to this to this. I'm forty three and i haven't yet but you only voted once. I made shit. When i'm eighty something you might dow you might shit but he didn't tell us. He's beware younger. Would you rather have you seen it before now. So what so what is it so so it's like it's the slingshot whatever you can <hes> human slingshot. Each foster never seen that before. I i have a plan. I know what it is. Yeah i see people 'cause like you'd literally go there and come back down and people tur- yeah now hell no. I'm good so i've been dad so you know that's kind of. I guess i brought it up to say kind of difference so i'm willing to get stuff like that. It's only instagram. You guys go see it. How will we don't just say different. Saying is is my my risk. Factor is a little bit higher so i would definitely try flop flop war because because because of the technology aspect of it and i just it just seemed like it would be stream look look. What a be just sent over. Would you do if i had the right safety precautions in place. We gotta move on yeah. I just want him to see that. You're gonna see me team narino. Would i want to watch this. We gotta go on. We gotta move on <music> number fifty seven seconds. You know you're gonna watch it and that's going to be oh ass who already have it. You can actually go to right now. It's gonna be carrying record but if you look further they show him flow note like that that the epic fail is funny to begin but they show him actually about yeah yeah. I would do this off the water joint. I would do the water well. It's not as easy as as it may seem no of course not you have to control water like propelling you up next. This ain't that big of a deal. It looked like uh but you gotta see the videos where people actually like p._o._v. perspective. I know bish though but would you you would do that. I don't know maybe i didn't think it was the other ones that actually go real high and shit. That's what i'm saying and i've been on those. I would get on those two so so you you didn't get on that one. I don't know what you're talking about. You said the ones that go higher because the one you always seem like he went there and i so i don't have. I don't know what talking about to compare it. That's what i'm saying okay so it probably is one that go higher but i would get on it still. If i gotta get another one too you know so coat anyway you guys hear about the guy fired over to pop white guy cicis zero wa guy from the midwest who used to send out a to pot lyrics inspirational quotes he worked <hes> for the department of human services in iowa and <hes> he thinks that he was fired or forced to resign in june <hes> because a debuted prior he sent an email to more than four thousand the agency employees that include the inspirational quote from two parts and <hes> you know he's a big tom fan and he would <hes> <hes> regularly hold <hes> to friday's in his office where he will play the raptors music and he said <hes> he was a lawyer. He likes to break stereotypes about <hes> people who listen to rap. His name was <hes> jerry. Sullivan is what he looks like. He's the white white ah food like colonel like that little do with no legs. I was on <hes> king of the hill days they <hes> was it patent or something. I forget the name but he looks like the guy that had no green light jeb bush or somebody name. What what was the name what's his name does ask him to <hes> yeah man so he got fired for what exactly sending out to pot lyrics or inspirational quote. What was the lyrics to say. He was playing music though he did. He have to pop fridays. Yes and this article is from n._p._r. By the way <hes> it doesn't say what quote he sent down here. I got it right here this. The one piece is strictly from a negative boy so so you and i'll poses on on this ground but basically the email was like just let people know that we know sunday is father's day but that it was also to park's birthday and that he will be forty eight when he if he was still alive so he will be celebrating both days and that <hes> he hoped everybody else enjoy the day to take the time to enjoy his song and then he's put this inspirational quote in their pay. No mind to those who talk behind your back. It simply means that you are two steps it and.

"Trump. You can't really deny that. He is shifting things in a certain direction. The person that killed those innocent people in el paso very plainly said he was gunning for hispanics and i can't think that we saw much of this before trump and for the for the reason things that trump has said on twitter that were fucking racist shit how you guys want to spin it. What trump up was saying was fucking racist. I'd really like to know. How do you still support him. If you yourself claim to not be racist or how do you continue to support support. A president that is saying go back to your country or is clearly villain ising a certain type type of person that is now being murdered. Do you support that trump supporters that claim to not be racist like explain this to me and i'm not trying to attack anyone. I'm trying to understand. I'm really trying to understand how you can say. You're not racist that you support all people that america land of the free blah blah blah but you're supporting a president president that is making people not actions because you can say who's cou he really fine fine but you're still bill nizing a a certain type of person and you don't seem to care like how do you how do you wake up every day. I'm cool with that. I think and what i've seen anyways from you know a lot of like right wing extremist premiss and things like that is they try they like go through crazy ass loops to try to it's like mental gymnastics to try to <music> separate what they believe in because this is the thing and i think this applies to like all people who are racist are all people who are extremist as spars being on the right. I think think they think like i would personally feel bad. If i felt attached are connected to the evil quote unquote that's going on in this corner and so i'm going to try and take my ideologies and separate it as much as i can from what it is. They're doing over here so for example those people who did get shot or killed. They're probably going to be like oh. That's sad thoughts and prayers at the same time you know we should just try to come into the country legally and then like you can spew all these facts to them and say hey we'll. Oh this person was born here. Well i mean you couldn't tell really enemies at the same time. Yeah like don't work you gotta. You gotta do better than that. Yeah this point. People people are dying at this point. People are literally and it's literally like ordered. Yeah and y'all are not doing shit. Y'all still supporting this president. That's not doing shit. It's because it doesn't apply to them but he keeps on repeating the same talking rallies and everything yours you know and then he lies about it and it's just crazy easy to meet you. Still have people are like no. I'm not only non-racist. I'm anti-racists but i voted for trump because now you can't you see this man. That's cool man. I think some of those people actually don't care. I don't care nine. They shouldn't be in our country anyway i want. I want to hear from okay so i want to hear from the other ones. Does that say that they do care that they're not raised at the one that racism wrong. I want to hear from them. I how are you still saying that. You're gonna fucking vote for this guy again. In twenty twenty deep down they can say it all they want to but i think deep down share yeah the saints intimate as those people that are home like i don't care. They shouldn't be over here anyway. They just keep it needs more proves ryan. That's all i'm saying is super. I said yeah the manifesto that you know he he posted online. <hes> you know detailed a plan to separate rate americans <unk> territories by race <hes> spoke of hispanic invasion of texas a warrant that white people were being replaced by foreigners foreigners. The man drove ten hours to go to that walmart from allen texas <hes> to shoot <hes> you know and kill those people you know it real quick before you move on the invasion part y'all go to twitter and type in donald trump's twitter name and then put invasion next to it and see how many times himself talks about these quote unquote invasions and then once again explain how you support this motherfucker ryan yeah. They're currently on fox news talking about how video games and mental illness are the problems of course. That's gonna always be disbanded. Yep they way. I'll know of any video game that was <music> supporting like right typically targeting hispanics. Is there a game. I don't know about the closest. One is like grand theft auto. I would say but not not really she. You still targeting anybody and everybody saying like they can keep running this game but come on bro. I'm just sick of it. I'm sorry i just had to bring it up because that's fucking ridiculous. I mean we didn't even fucking touch on the two other. Shootings happened within a nine hour span. Did you see how the <hes> handcuff buddy and no paso. I feel as if we need to bring back crucifixion <unk> personally. I just feel like these mass. Shooters needs to be making made it an example of that's not gonna change anything like that's just like saying. Let's put him on <hes> electric chair because most of the time in the dying in a way we see it in front of a woman something it very nice very nicely king yeah yeah y'all man. That's the guy off friendly oh here. He shot ninety motherfuckers. You know all right. Thank choke hold on him. How many we're we're we're winning twenty twenty six so <hes> so shop shop for twenty years and this cook the numbers could change yeah but <hes> at least when we were so y'all not seen it also saw the video footage of him walking in with the with the earmuffs on and the actual <hes> rifle into the walmart cameras and the only thing i saw i was in a barbershop in i saw people like kind of running frantically whatever but as that that was it. That's all i needed to know. I it's crazy <hes> that you can't even go to a walmart or a movie theater or church search or any of these places that you just do normal stuff. You not let me go get some toilet paper today. 'cause i gotta shitty booty. You know say you're gonna august shot up like i'm just saying wow. I'm just saying hey prefers. I'm just saying there is just so crazy man <hes> that you literally like like the safest places your home fucking just order everything on amazon yeah i. I'm hey exactly you know what i'm saying a just like <hes> who i wanna say nifty said stay dangerous. My nigga look people own guns on a gun. Protect your home owner going to protect yourself because how or why g because this man like look you can't even go to walmart dog is crazy like we're just being targeted that <hes> it does not gonna help that. What i'm saying is is being able to protect yourself like i'm again years ago <hes> i. I've never owned a gun. Somebody tries a break in and i felt the most helpless vote and i was so happy that we had a gun in the home to protect us in the home but i'm saying that's a that's a that's another conservative talking point <hes>. They think that everyone should be armed and that'll fix everything. I know yeah yeah yeah yeah but that that's the statement that you made <hes> we'll twist that and of course course mike you owning a gun like one person walking into that walmart with a gun without do was shooting all those people <hes>. How do we know that that would have helped anything. What well here's the thing you you're one hundred percent right and i'm not saying that owning a firearm is the end all be all sure what i am saying. Is that if you are caught in that situation you much. Let's rather have that and then not have it. That's the only point. I'm trying to make however you decide to take that and run with it by all means. Take around with it but all i'm saying is is that you much rather have something to defend yourself the not to have it in that moment and i'm not saying that somebody had it that this. This person wanted shot the twenty people. You know what i'm saying. Maybe only shot to people. I don't know we don't know those are big variables. I just think that it's crazy that at this point that we're at it's almost like in how people say keys wallet phone. It's like keys while phone gun like that's crazy that that's what the new you just gonna put your gun or you'll keychain like just. It'd be like that's insane. That's just like the normal let me go out with this is just a weird bandai like you're not even discussing the actual problem well and that's that's my issue with the issue stems from you have a leader right now that is creating villains out of people litter and and everybody arming themselves in my opinion is just gonna make shit worse because then you have to make sure everybody is trained and yeah if you're in that situation who's to know what you're gonna gonna do right. You hear somebody popping off. You might say oh shit and you start popping up right. You're not trained. Could you imagine a walmart full of two hundred people just popping up every day like the wild wild west man confirmed actual issued. I agree with you one hundred 'cause i still need to get a gun from my house same but i'm not really with just i arm and my fucking walmart with the two lines they be having open. Oh yeah you just two baskets full. Hula gross rewrote. Yes nama fuck. You gotta have is live. Data is just updated. It was in the dayton bar shooting. There was ten people killed and twenty seven injured at the chicago one the dayton dayton and then i guess the chicago one may be seven people were injured but i don't know if there were any pronounced dead. Gotta do something y'all know if if if they do ran into walmart and they start shooting back. I don't know he might have talked taylor. Ran or the shooting back might have some other people or you're never mind it. Don't even matter which just move on well real quick. I want to highlight <hes> glynn oakley that went in and say says those kids he actually had a gun he had a gun permit and he was walking out and you know he happened to see the kids scared and crying and looking for their parents so he got his got started running through to to save the kids. I have a question wasn't that i'd like a an a mall which one the one that you're the first one no no. He said something about being a footlocker or something like that. Yeah the the one the walmart one was walmart shopping center so there was a footlocker. how the set up was. I just heard that there was one with like a mall military guy that was given the interview on television. He went to a foot locker so i don't know how that works either. I was like i don't know who is in i wasn't i don't think that's the same guy i think. This is the different person that kim's talk this. This is this is it was a fort bliss. Show soldier you know private first class glenn an oakley junior an automated logistical specialist assigned to the final four composites composites supply company stationed at fort bliss <hes> he was <hes> a customer at this yellow vista mall el paso when the gunman opened fire and so here's what he had to say about.

"Off. ready for the buck korea podcast and getting that <hes> so together there was was one gentleman i already know me. I do not remember that gentleman's name however him and his cousin were detained in texas around the border and and <hes> this gentleman was born in america american citizen had his driver's license social security card and his birth certificate one here and he they were driving and artifically because he was an american that that doesn't speak really good english he is of mexican descent but born here and <hes> one one of the border patrols they they stopped him and his cousin and a couple of other people didn't have papers but he did. They had him detained over ninety days. I'm and he lost over thirty five pounds lobbying in there because you know he the dude was saying that there were people that were sick in there. They don't let us the restroom. They barely feed you. People like like you really don't even have a place to sleep <hes> so he was saying he was seriously inhumane and the like you know everything. You're talking about despair bear. Like what do we do like br. I had all my documentation on me just because i don't speak english does not make me an american. I have proved and i think that that's the point that it's getting to where you can clearly see the <hes> the point that they're trying to make you know it's kinda like they set up all these barriers ears and it's very clear that they don't give a shit if about immigration really it's kinda like 'cause if that was the case then why do swedish. Do you know what i'm saying like. Nobody's checking swedish papers like that. Nobody's detaining people like of that so it's kinda like it's very obvious that it goes beyond <hes> you know just immigration status and i i know a lot of people who have been been detained with you know being american and everything so it's very clear that they don't give a fuck and they're just trying to. I mean i don't know it. Just i don't know i you can clearly see where it's going. You know what i'm saying like and the further it gets like black. People are not too far behind from that shit. You know what i'm saying like. I dunno found the list. <hes> i'll give you a couple of names. We'll need to move on <hes>. There's the nichols house. There's a networks coop. There's the i._r._c. Which is the place. I took my stuff to and the lady at the desk was like yeah. We need everything you can get. <hes> who was that an actual detention center or was it replaces that will help <hes> not only <hes> imigrants quote unquote. They also help refugees that are here okay <hes> so they help they pretty much across the board but no these are not detention centers. I don't think we we have any detention centers in atlanta okay. I was just about to ask that <hes> then there's also <hes> where's the one that don sent <hes> shop the clarkston okay so yeah you can. You can google these places but that's just a short list of water. Close can call it just yeah. They'll say on their a website what they're looking for specifically now but you can call them and just say hey. I wanna help. What can i bring yeah. They'll tell you yeah 'cause. I don't know and the last thing that i have to say about it. I know that this is. I don't know this might be kinda wack and marginal ruin it for for anyone if you haven't seen it yet but i know that you know the new season of orange is the new black air. It's just covering the topic of ice.

"Allow all the news media to cover his visits in dayton el paso instead you will hear from people who spoke about these events today and who very clearly care about what happened in dayton eight and el paso and have proved that they care and are very worried about where the next mass murderer is going to happen. He will hear from joe biden later in this hour delivering a speech in iowa today in which he condemned donald trump's hatred and racism in the strongest terms we have yet heard from joe biden he linked donald trump's uh-huh language to the massacre in el paso you will hear from senator cory booker later in this hour in a speech that he delivered today in the church in charleston south carolina which was itself the scene of racist mass murderer. You will hear both joe biden an cory booker speak not so much as presidential candidates because they barely referred into their candidacies at all but as moralists appealing to the conscience of most americans who have always rejected everything about donald trump and trumpism and the racism that was the founding principal of trumpism the trump lie about president obama's birth certificate. That's how trump ism was born. In the muck of that racism you will hear from people in el paso who have been and devastated by what has come to their hometown but you will not be hearing the voice of donald trump because donald trump is unable to deliver a single sentence that is in any way appropriate to what happened in dayton in el paso he did not say one serious or true thing today. That is is worth reporting here tonight. Just before donald trump landed in el paso today spoke to an audience in his hometown about the heroes in paso who went to work trying to save the lives of people shot by a mass murderer who believes every word donald trump has told him about mexican americans and about people people who someday hoped to become mexican americans people who hope to enter our country episode and border better o'rourke talked about el paso heroes who rushed i into action after a mass murderer who thinks exactly like donald trump drove hundreds of miles to come to el paso to kill as many people as has he could we had a chance to think the doctors and the surgeons and the nurses and the cleaning staff the nurses has told us as they wield these victims into the trauma bay blood everywhere they'd wheel one patient out cleaning staff would come in like a nascar this car pit crew and clean that bay down so it was clean for the next patient to come in so they could save somebody else's life every single one of them in that hospital and they did the same thing at university medical center doing all that they could for their fellow l. passan's for their fellow. What ends is for their fellow a human beings and they save their lives and one of those surgeons dr smith said this is one of those moments that either destroys your faith in humanity or restores your faith in humanity. El paso chooses to restore our our faith in humanity in one another and in this country the doctors and the nurses of course. We'll never be thanked enough but that's not why they do it. They do it because of a duty that comes from the heart a duty that donald trump could never understand carson veronica escobar who is better or work successor in the house of representatives refused to join the president of the united states on his visit to her city of el paso today because he has not apologized for the things he's he has said about the twenty two people who were murdered in the twenty six people who were wounded in el paso and no donald trump has never talked about those people individually before they were murdered and he has never talked about them individually since they were murdered but they are precisely the people who donald trump has been talking about relentlessly in his rants about the southern border. We will have a lot of work to do do that is not just about repairing the body but also about repairing the mind and the soul and we have to be strong and united knighted in that journey that very difficult journey that lies ahead.

"We're talking this hour about the latest on the compromise deal reached in congress regarding funding for border security on the southern border will also gonna talk about the reality on the ground in El Paso, Texas as well. I'm joined today by Lisa Desjardins. She's correspondent for the PBS news hour, and who argue are he's in El Paso, Texas. He's immigration and border security reporter for the Texas Tribune. And let's listen to a little bit more of what the president had to say during his campaign rally in El Paso last night. He said that there's one place where a physical barrier would have an impact right here and L Paso. I've been watching when they've been trying to say, oh, the wall didn't make that much. Well, you take a look at what they did with their past crimes, and how they made them from very serious much lesser, you take a look at what the real system is. I spoke to people that have been here. A long time. They said when that wall went up, it's a whole different ballgame is that a correct statement whole different goal at a competing rally last night. Former congressman and Democratic Senate nominee and El Paso native better aerobic address. President Trump's claims about the level of violence in L Paso. "But it is not so simple and El Paso residents. Find themselves having to constantly refute. The claim Monaco Ortiz rebe as a journalist in El Paso and a native of the city. She's lived the story as well. As reported on it. It depends where in El Paso where you visit. There is a neighborhood that butts up. Right along the US Mexico border in El Paso that neighborhood is called she. Well, we thought it's one of the oldest in the city and people there say that the border wall has helped make their neighborhoods safer before the wall was constructed. People could easily run across the dry bed of the Rio Grande into the neighborhood and cross back into Mexico. The residents who live there said that there was a problem with with burglaries sometimes assaults. Their laundry would get stolen off the line or a bike would go missing. And there were gangs in Mexico that sometimes crossed over and this is documented by police. So the wall has proven to be effective in highly urban concentrated areas, but where it loses effectiveness is in more rule and less populated areas before the wall Monica what was the reality about crime in Paso like in the urban part of El Paso well. Well, I mean studies have shown that immigrant communities tend to be safer. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than US citizens and El Paso is a city of immigrants going back from its very beginnings often people confuse El Paso with its neighboring city in Mexico. See the what is and that city has been among the more violent in Mexico about a decade ago when there was a brutal drug war going on and see the what is the Texas. Governor Rick Perry, then said that a car bomb had gone off in El Paso, when it had actually gone off in see the what is so even our own governor has confused the safety record of Al Paso with its sister city in Mexico Monaco's, I said, you're also a resident of El Paso, what's your life like there? I mean as far as Bortone goes do go out at night with no warriors. These days of. You ever been scared in El Paso, and if you have why I have lived in El Paso, all my life. My grandparents immigrated here from Mexico back in the forties, and my family has remained in the same neighborhood ever since they came over and I often go out at night. So does my family. We don't really worry very much about our safety in opacity. What's his moment of been like with the president saying these things that a lot of people in Paso, just feel are not true. It's just a this was a false claim that he had made in the past many residents. Here have spoken out to debunk that claim because they know that I'll pass oh has been ranked as one of the safest cities for years and years now even prior to the construction of the border fence, and it's a claim that's easily debunked by simply looking at FBI statistics in the city and looking at these studies that show. Yes. Immigrant communities are far safer last weekend. Residents in Paso got together and held a protest from downtown El Paso, right up to the US Mexico border, and they all came out in solidarity against Trump's immigration policies and against further construction of a border fence won't go or or EBay is a journalist and also a resident of El Paso, which is where she joined us from.
