We're Frustrated. What about YOU?
"Today in our feminist. Utopia governor cuomo resigned and stops kissing young women at weddings or stops being garbage. Human being. I mean he created a toxic work environment not just for the women s but for the men that worked for him to. But we'll get to that. Yes chalet recording on national women's day last year we were on a boat celebrating international women's day with an all female crew for the first time it was amazing and i wish we were back on that boat. We were in a bubble of just being pampered and surrounded by powerful women and it was amazing until covid happened in. it wasn't so amazing and instead of being surrounded in a bubble. We were worried that we were surrounded by five. Rhys but i i was worried. They were gonna cut seattle off because trumpet actually made sounds like well we just isolate seattle. It will spread. We all know how that turned out and happy international women's day. I guess we can start out with some good vibes because today on international women's day joe biden has signed Two executive orders geared toward promoting gender issues. The first executive order establishes a gender policy council within the white house and it's Reformulating that office from the obama administration that was disbanded by trump. But this one is going recognizes. That discrimination happens to both genders. So i think that's a positive thing and we hope that that will lead to more equality not just in the united states but around the world and then the second executive orders directed at the department of education and it Reverses the controversial rule on campus sexual assault and harassment that was issued last year by betsy devos. Donald trump's education secretary. So these are two Positive advancements and we will applaud those with some good vibes and biden also signed an executive order About election rights. And so we'll get into that a little bit more than we talk at the end of the show about. Hr one We can't count on executive orders to save us. But at least women who are on college campuses or more protected now because of that executive order and i am really glad that biden chose to do it today. Yeah we're gonna go from good vibes to pet peeves. I decided Section called pet peeves because this has been highlighted in the news. And it's really annoying me. People miss naming the george floyd trial. It's not george floyd trial. It's derek chauvin trial for the killing of george floyd and we should know derek chavez name as a murderer that he is and when you miss name it and call it. George floyd it places the blame on the victim and causes more pain to the victim's family and misses the point. I think we need to hold. Derek chauvin accountable and make his name famous for being murderer. I think it's the perfect example of a micro aggression that even progressives make without thinking about it and when ted bundy headed trial. We didn't name his victims. We didn't say it was the kimberley trial. It was ted bundy trial. But in this case. I think this is one of those little deep seated things that we don't think about until someone like you pointed out like i hadn't thought about it until i read it in today's research but i hadn't even. I didn't even in all fairness i didn't know the trial was starting so i didn't even know that but we'll do hell no hell of a time finding jurors so the 'cause the videos out there like the Selection process started and then it was halted. There's some concern about whether it's going to be a second degree or a third degree murder charge. So yeah they. They were going to add the third degree murder charge to make sure he doesn't get off on a manslaughter charge. Just go to jail for three years.

Sam Canders Discusses The Maine Center for Classic Aviation
"You know sam looking at your website. The thing that strikes me is immediately the picture. that's that's up there of a classic airplane and And the fact that there's a lot of smiles that are throughout that. I love a love that you've actually put out there something historic but also something that that you know really grabs our attention us that are really passionate about aviation So first of all tell us a little bit about what the main center for. Classic is for classic. Gatien was kind of an idea that my brothers night created but that idea came much later we've started with just an airfield we've owned this aggress script for about nine years. Now be ten years this coming summer and it just came as an idea. Three brothers that are into flying that Just wanted to have their own airstrip and it was a kind of a dilapidated oil field that had Started in the fifties a man returned from basically world war two wanted to be a pilot never was and then when he came home he got a job. Bought some farmland started learning how to fly and he created an airport and it was Like i said in a state of decay when we picked it up in over the last nine years we've started to build it up and as part of that we created the main center for classic aviation eight by the way for people that are listening right now as identifier. They might wanna look up while they're sitting there on iphones. Absolutely it's a m. e. sixty two sixty two and of course a lot of us will go to aaron. Have the find that. Oh of links the show notes everything we talk about here so taking over this airfield it was somebody's dream and And you're just actually fulfilling that dream but going even further. Which i think is really cool. So that was this idea of of restoring. This airfield actually actually spawned something else. It's something that has become. I guess your full time job in a way. It feels like a fulltime job. Spend most of my time on a lawnmower. It seems like but no. It's just a anyone that's gotten into aviation generally asian. It's tough now like you can't just go to an airport in touch an airplane Security measures that are in place. And that's what we like about. The classic grass strip is approachable and We have a place that's literally in aviation. It's too playground for us. And we love sharing it with other people and that's kind of the direction we kept going is. How do we keep making this more accessible to others. And we thought about getting other airplanes airplane projects that would get people together and give people an opportunity that think they can't get into it. Get them in an airplane. Let them see an airplane. Let them here and One of the highlights every year. That we do is a fly in the last saturday september. Where people that are not pilots. Just come and sit in. They just watch these airplanes and they have a wonderful time doing it so we must have missed that one this year but next year. We'll try to make it out there for that. Hopefully that was a success I noticed a lot of smiling faces of some youth out there. This is part. There's a couple of different prongs to this main center For classic aviation a big part is educating youth and outreach to youth what is it that you do for the younger folks that are out there at the airport. We'd like to think that the biggest thing that we do is we provide them the environment. We provide them with a place that they can actually go and be a part of this We do have some done some school outreach programs where i've actually gone into schools to talk about aviation taking components like a wing rib or something. Just talk about aviation but we have a a build program that we're actually building a pete in polar pamper that we've advertised that we've had kids come in and actually work with wood to build pieces of an airplane We recently picked up a taylor crap. Bc twelve the is going to be a cooperative effort with the local mechanic in town. A curtiss aviation. They're going to help us with that. As far as giving us a place for that aircraft live at another airport in providing some maintenance oversight to people to work and restore attila. crafty wealthy. When you do these outreach to the schools. I know it's great to bring people into the airport but we really do need to go out and grab people because like you said you know. The days are just running over to the airport and hanging on the fence or walking out. The field are almost over. But i think that really to me. My favorite thing is the fact that you can do that where you are absolutely and you can see when we have our our in these people that some. I've never seen a lot of these people in my life. I have no idea. They'll come up and thanked me and say you know. Thank you for allowing us to do this. Like we never thought something like this was possible. And i'll just ask them like how they found out about it and it's like a friend of a friend or something but you never know who's going to be there. What what kid you're going to reach out to or even adult or parent. That can just show them that you can do this. You can be involved in this and it could be a life changer for for a child. Obviously it can mean a life changing event you know maybe getting into flying As a career as a hobby also increases. There are many different things that they can use another parts of life. Let's not just flying. I mean it's a hands on approach. If you have a young student say that wants to become a mechanic Never thought they could do that. They can never work on airplanes. I you're you're really inspiring some of those
Pampering Your Skin and Clove
"Samantha. Thank you so much for being here with us again this month. This is a topic that I am so excited to talk about. Thanks for having me. This is one of my favorite topics. So I think one of the biggest questions around this topic is, can I actually put essential oils on my face? I think that is I. Mean. That's a massive question that a lot of people ask me actually. because. A lot of people are you know maybe a little timid little frightened and not sure how they can use them safely and I want to dive into all of that because like I mentioned this. My personal favorite, this is my favorite topic to talk about is as skincare and applying essential oils to your face and really utilizing all the benefits. Like I mentioned safety is something that super important to follow. Here we talk about safety with internal using air matic used topically, US is very important to it's very important to pay attention to the essential label and the usage online. So when you go to dot com on each product page, you'll see these little icons it there. You'll see a couple of different ones. There's N. for need ask for sensitive defoe dilute. It will also say if it's safe to use a aromatic re topically or internally. So. Pay attention to that because we do carry some oils that are considered hot wheels, and those are usually marked with a dilute which means you want to be cautious and careful using those. topically I personally avoid using any of the dilute Wales topically just because I am very sensitive skin and any of the S or sensitive oils I always direct with the carrier. Oil and then with some of the oils, I even have I with them as well on my skin because it's a little more sensitive. So keep in mind your own personal sensitivity everyone else around you as you're using oils on your kids on her family members and you know just play around with different carrier oils on different spots, the skin on lots of your face. So, with that, what are some of the oils that you recommend as using as part of my skin care routine? Like I mentioned, each person's skin has its own individual needs insensitivities like you might have more normal dry skin, and so you could play around with Yara Palm or even rose rose meant to help balance moisture levels in your skin. So if you have more normal dry skin rose could be a good fun. Some. Quick additions for normal to oily skin could be geranium tea tree even hd. Clear. So we have our are skincare blends, right? HD clear 'EM mortell. Those are specifically created for certain people. Skin types of HD. Clears from problematic uneven skin texture and immortalized for aging skin. It also can be used on the skin to help decrease signs of aging one thing I like to do as well as look at the ingredients and blends or skin care products I know in love and identifying essential oil that I think might be advantageous to my current skin concerns. I love that looking at what you already use and what works for you then going from there. I think that's a wonderful idea. So how do I go about incorporating essential oils into my routine at what point and my applying the essential oils? That's a great question, and again, that kind of changes from person to person once you've identified essential oil. And think about how it will benefit your skin. I try to use it consistently for at least a couple of weeks within this timeframe for me. I. Often can tell if the oil will benefit my skin or not. William China nail down the win of SCAP location like you mentioned it can depend on the benefit looking for is a spot treatment at moisture like we talked about or even skin cleansing. So each of these can be applied at different times you're looking for skin causing benefits may be petri into your skin cleanser in you know used twice a day at the beginning at the rebate or a spot treatment take some turmeric and apply that I like spot treatments personally at the end of the day or you're gonna bad because then you'll have to smell like oils all day if you don't want to. that it also, you're not worried about maybe flying over top of them or walking around with essential oil who face. So spot treatments I would sit of the day skin cleansing throughout the day whenever you can skin added moisture could be added to your moisturizer at the beginning of the day or at the end of the day depending on how strong of an additional moisturizing effect you're looking
Meet Jerri Evans, The Turning Natural Juice Bar Founder Transforming Lives in the Black Community
"So welcome to the guest chair Jerry. Thank you for having me I'm so happy to have you here as I mentioned I was in the juice bar on h street the other day, and I was like this is so yummy. This is amazing I'd love to know more about your story. So first and foremost what was your career path before becoming the owner of turning natural juice bars. So prior to juicing, I was an air nautical engineer I worked for a major company which is probably the main companies in the Department of Defence Specialty was F twenty, two fighter jets. So Bess, literally my background I didn't WanNA been engineer at first I wanted to go to fashion but we had a career fair in highschool they separated all the boys of jobs that they believe men become in they separated the girls with like nursing and teaching and I didn't know you know to be feminist then I just wanted to go with the boys and so went with boys and this guy from NASA's Guy Actually said women do not become engineered. Yet I was so offended I went home and that's home. My Mama say what I only WanNa do fashion anymore I wanNA become an engineer and she's like. Bass drastic. So I just kind of looked into what types of engineering I would potentially enjoy in to be truthfully honest none of them were remotely interesting. I just knew that airplanes was probably the most interesting to me and I ended up majoring in Tennessee State University. So you were on that path and what did you envision your life looking like before this whole entrepreneurship thing happened. My first internship with with Nasser in our member calling my mom during that year that summer I was like. Do this every single day for like sixty five years. There's no way. This could be life, and so I knew that I was going to work for a while I. Just knew that couldn't be that person that worked until retirement indigenous. No hope to petty pitch whatever they decided I I earn so. Actually, GonNa. Probably be engineer for a while. Then I had no idea. So, walk us through what was the motivation behind starting turning natural. While two thousand, one by MOM was diagnosed with Stage two breast cancer and even though Stage two is roads of we early at that time cancelled as like a death sentence, everyone was so afraid of being diagnosed in, you know all the people that we had known to be diagnosed like my aunt who was diagnosed with stage four she passed away shortly after being diagnosed in. So our live drastically changed a mom went from a meat eater to vegetarian to Vegan and. Nine and a half years she was cancer free. Very healthy life in we found out in two thousand ten that cancer I came back. When it came back, it was much more aggressive. It's spread to her bones and then it went to her liver was in like two weeks of out that it came back my mom transition and so you'll never really hear me say my mom died I think super aggressive word. In it helps me cope to say she transition because I believe is energy. Redo that guy we just exist in another space and so shortly after my mom passed a believe that very next summer I quit my job and has started going to grief counseling When my mom transition, they give you this pamphlet that tells you what morning is GonNa look like in one minute you're GONNA be happy. One Minute you're going to be said and you're going to be depressed. That you're going to be angry. and. I was just angry I was angry for a very, very hard time. A MOM's a super spiritual woman. I was very angry with guy. Stop believing in any and everything in ages I'm already an introvert. So I literally practice. introverts space like no one could get in my space in. A really good friend of my recommended grief counseling which even made me angrier. Like I don't want to go to counselling I don't want another person to tell me to be absent from the bodies to be present with guy like that didn't make sense to me and I didn't want someone else to say I'm sorry for your loss because I really don't know how to respond to that. I don't WanNa say thank you that you're sorry for my law. So I was just in a very angry space in a started going to counseling. It was difficult because everyone that I had talked to a new mom. So I never had to explain my mother in the way that I had to explain to this counselor. and. She told me that morning isn't linear. You're not going to feel one way today, and then the next day is the next phase in pampering. You're gonNA fill multiple things on multiple days. And that was probably the single best advice that I could have gotten after my mom transition. So I'm sitting at my desk at my job at the time when I'm still in engineer and I hear my mother's voice and she said, why are you still here now in my mind I'm like I read about this this is the point where my mind I'm going crazy because if I turn around my mom is standing here I am not Right anymore. and. So I stopped what I was doing and I turned around I. Heard it again of course, she was there but I knew that Mitt like you don't WanNa do this anymore you not fulfil. You're just doing it because you're good at it. and. So I went to my boss's office and. told him as saying, Hey, you know I can't do this anymore. And you know at the time I was doing about equipment. The workload that I had was equivalent to two or three people job title. And so he said, don't worry. We're interviewing people were going to get you some help You don't understand I don't want to do this job at all anymore So I quit.
Inside the BLAST Restructure
"Blasts saying corona has hit our bank account a little bit. We gotTA restructure this if we want to really make it beneficial for the long haul. So what they're doing is moving forward, they will be increasing the participation fees paid two teams and reducing the prize money again. The I feel like this was kind of lost in the tweet because their initial tweet didn't really explain very well, the total sum paid by blast will remain identical. Okay. So I think that's important at the end of the day to realize that however the kicker here. Is the players aren't necessarily seeing that payout for participation. They see a lot of times in their contracts, the prize money. So you're taking away prize money to give it to direct payout to the ORG which you're like okay. Well, what's the big deal? It's all going to the same place not necessarily because pending on your contract pending on the Org again they only give you your pay right they give you what you agreed for on a payment and the prize money. So the double whammy here is that they failed to consult the counter. Strike Professional Players Association the CS. On this manner question for you why do they have to do that? That's a very good question which I'm glad you brought it up because I always every time this comes up in the world of counterstrike with. Like the CS PPA. Up We were not consulted about this we will be speaking with them behind closed doors blah blah, blah no one here heard about this at what point do they? Do you think they call an emergency meeting and say guys do people even know were around? Like do they like and I've said this before I feel like they have lost their own way whereas before it came out, it was, hey, we wanna look out what's best for the players while also working with tournament organizers and or gigs. To figure out what's best for like the system right now while then it's kind of turned into well, no, we feel like it should just be this way and we're going to create our own rankings because we don't like the way they do it You know things like that. I? Guess. You know perfect player union world. Yes. You would consult the players if you're going to change the payout. However if they didn't need you to start it, why would they consult you to change it? I'm probably GONNA take like a approach on this that if any players listening, I apologize ahead of time but like in a way what Henry g did by releasing the salary information I, say Henry Cloud Nine as the cloud nine decision right team decision to release salary? Information. Like you're not gonNA get a ton of sympathy from me at least when it comes to a little bit more money going into the owners pockets because what I see like again, this is one hundred percent my point of view I. don't even know if you agree with this what? I what I see in counterstrike right now is a game that is getting to this Odd Breaking Point doesn't mean the game's going to go away or die or nothing like that. I'm just saying it's at a point where. There's just this top end were just really top heavy in the fall off to me is is fairly massive when it comes to the landscape or the overall ecosystem of counterstrike, we're not seeing a ton of new teams invest into counterstrike. We've talked to team owners that have said it's a bad investment other than getting your name out there like if you're willing if you're willing to put in the money to be one of the top five. Great, it's good recognition by kind of beyond that. We see several team owners taking cheaper. Pats just to stay. Around in counter strike, but not necessarily the compete at the highest level because they know. To do that, it's millions of dollars in now we see a contract for the first time right now I know that includes Alex is a buyout but let's just say he's he's making around three four hundred K. annually off of this contract. Plus a buy out fee and then he's getting prize money from the six hundred events that go on throughout the year. Right? It's not like blast has. One. Event there multiple events in including one pretty much. Every weekend at this point, right weather's blast or star ladder ESL or face it. There's an event. Every single weekend at this point players are making really good money. Now I know there's a saying like, well, it's never enough right like you should be able to get whatever you're able to will. This was an opportunity for the elders in blast toward together in make making a little bit more beneficial for the ORG is. A huge problem in that. If they didn't consult with them. It's because they chose not to you know they didn't WanNa do it like we know you guys are making a ton of money. We need ours. Also a blast is still paying out the same amount, but I do feel for ownership groups right now in counterstrike because it is so outrageously expensive ended it's taken away from us a little bit in my mind because of how inflated the cost of Gone We've seen. Teams completely just wipe themselves out of counterstrike together we saw cloud nine one of the biggest stories take two year hiatus essentially from the game because they didn't want to compete at a high level. That's what it came down to. Right. They have the money the one of the most valuable orange but chose not to spend. Yeah. In put all their resources into counterstrike instead don't have two dollar and team cloud nine the just enough to stay relevant. That's it. They did the again that we've seen several teams do let's keep our name in the game refloating around right. If his top thirty we'RE STILL ON HDTV, we're still going to be in a handful of events 'cause re cloud nine a but at the end of the day, they didn't see it worthwhile to invest in the counter strike again, they're coming back now but that's after they have two dollar and teams in they're probably saying good success in other areas. Yeah. Ah Let. Me Tell you where I have a problem with because ultimately I think I leaned closer to you. My problem is not that they didn't consult with the Players Association. 'cause consulting means a conversation. Right? My problem is if there was no heads up given because it's not like this is in the off season of blast there in the middle of the event, right? They are still in the tournament mode four like the main blast that will eventually lead to like their big major, right For blast. That's where I have the issue because if you're if you're changing the prize pool mid tournament and not giving them a heads up I. Understand the reason. Obviously. We don't know all the numbers, but all we constantly hear about. How you know the tournament organizers make barely any money and the owners encounter strike especially, pretty much lose money. Right. Having a counter strike team. And yet. Always see from these players are Gucci watches you know Yeezy. Right like they're doing pretty okay. Not Every player I understand that. But for the most part, they're doing pretty okay with their salaries. Heard. From counterstrike pros saying that they won't go to events unless they're staying five star hotels for the most part like the best of the best tower tournament organizers where the. Name anything here but there's a place will say locally where I'm not even kidding you next door, there is a walkway, a covered walkway that leads from the hotel to the place where they were having the event and the players didn't want to stay at the hotel because it wasn't nice enough and this hotel is a Sheridan. It wasn't like a king to know knock on. Lucina. It's a shared. Sakes. Like. Four Star Hotel Four Seasons or anything but. Still pretty good and they wouldn't do it. So then the tournament organizers had to switch the hotel, right? The players went there and said, nope, this isn't up to our standards then switched the hotels and everything here like don't get it twisted. And it's actress counterstrike I'd say most East sports athletes. For being guys that like have very minimum requirements to get by in life like I've seen your room behind your Webcam right we know how some of these guys live they have very high standards when it comes to like pampering them. So No, I think for blast to take a conscious stand and be like we can't survive doing this. Let me ask the players this would you rather have more prize money? Or. Would you rather have? Would you rather have more prize money and blast fold after this because they can't afford To recoup or would you rather have? A reputable event. In blast payout a little less give your or more money to hopefully that will come back to you in some way and then being able to continue because right now that's the only option you have chances are that money is not going back to them in some way though right like. Chances are the orange will pocket money or use it for their expenses that even if? Up The fridge some you out. You know we upgrade the stream room for you guys our facilitation. Pull a microphone get you that private jet.

"Now let me tell you a couple of things I've noticed because I've been traveling around the country and throughout the state of Pennsylvania for this campaign. I have been to several cops for trump events many of them with our Vice President I talked to those in uniform at those events. I ask them about their brothers and sisters in uniform that protect our communities day in and out typically many of them vote Democrat, not this time I was assured by so many law enforcement members that they and their brothers and sisters in uniform support. This president because this president supports them. Business Owners, restaurant owners you heard from Roberto from New York. City. My friend there. There was a woman I was at my golf club a couple of weeks ago, and she came up to me and she said rose. I have to tell you something my friend that's with me here. Today has voted as a Democrat, all her life. She's voting Republican for the first time ever. This year. So I went over to talk to her she owns a salon. What do they do in the salon facials or they allow to do them in the Salon? No. So for months, this woman has been out of work her business has been shut down. and. She said to me how can I ever go back to that party again, the party that shut me down. And I wear Terry something else women do not believe those polls women are supporting this President I'm hearing from union workers who traditionally are pressured to vote Democrat and it appears this time around many will have none of it. They've seen the results of trump's policies and their own lives and they like what they've seen. President trump heard the SOS from blue collar America and he rode to their rescue. One one man in particular approach made a gun store. Told me he was a union member and works for local plastic manufacturing firm. He said he wasn't so concerned with what trump says or tweets or his promises it was seeing those promises become something tangible in his own life that is now one trump, his support and his vote this November..

"Vice president and seeing the the number of young people come out and support that event last night support life and I think that really struck me this time around I've been. You know following this for a long time and bit been at the marches in Washington DC. What struck me this time was the number of young people. I was so happy to see that. Yes that's it's different. It really is. Motivating, it's our future. I. Mean. Our canisters were all here in in Raleigh today with President Vice-president as well, and so young. These are the people going door to door. We'll be in Pittsburgh next week doing exactly the same thing with the vice-president sort of regrouping and reinvigorating in this kind of last long haul. That's actually very short. Last Day. Yeah and so that you know that is actually vice president pence is perspective to you know his daughter is very involved. Charlotte is very involved in the in the pro-life Movement and Sarah Huckabee you know she's loved her mother but she young she she actually wrote the two intro to our book and the Vice President wrote the The intro to the book and life is winning basically plagiarizing from him his speeches because that's what he says and he's right. Out this is but they all talk about the use of the movement yes. That's a lot. Doesn't it really doesn't it does my heart good to see that it does by the way if you're going to be in Pittsburgh and you've got something planned, we'll connect Linda I'm sure but you need I need to help you do whatever you need. So all right. So what? To do so so listen. Okay. So get out there and get this book. We're we're talking to Marjorie Danan fell Sir and she is the author of life is winning and as she said, the introduction is by an order Vice President Mike. Pence and there's a perspective there from a press secretary are former White House press. Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who's an amazing woman and I just have one thing to say before I let you go Marjorie. I don't understand how anyone who loves God. LOVES LIFE CAN REJECT IT and and and and allow this to continue in vote for someone who does not respect life. The way that we do in the way it is necessary. "It never worked as Susan B. Anthony who was also abolitionist. She was the one who we've got the got us into this thing got women into the political thing so that that message doesn't resonate that exclusive message but the one that includes does and it's very attractive and I think that's that's in large part why we are winning. I agree with that and we do I mean just having this president support life. So you know unabashedly he just is out there. So strong and fighting for the unborn child along with the rest of us. So and I got to say that you know when you think about your mission now as you go forward with Susan B, Anthony List and and pro-life voices for trump what what is your strategy? What are you seeing? What are you hoping to accomplish in the immediate future, but then even in long-term Well it's very specific. I. Was with Vice President Today in North Carolina activating just the just the tactic It is very well, it's very simple. It's also not not easy and that is In just a handful of days in a handful of state, a handful of voters and we think pro-life voters will be an enormous part of this will decide who was the next president and who was the next. Senate, who ended pro-lifers it pro-abortion Senate, and from there it will be decided what our courts will look like and we are one hopefully one maybe two votes away on the Supreme Court from dismantling Roe versus Wade, and the only effect of that will be it's to return the power of tobacco to the states to decide what their own abortion law I think ultimately, there should be a national one, but at least in the. Beginning allow states to enact their own laws, and now they can't. They can't because of that Super Law of over Wade. So that's a strategy. So right now, what we're involved in these next days because we go door to door and we communicate and all sorts of other ways as well in these battleground states got these young people wearing blue shirts happy upbeat finding out going to pro-life voters and marginal voters, Democrats Independents Republicans, and encouraging them, and it's hard work in this environment you can imagine and they are just doing God's work. They're really doing a beautiful job, and that is how that is a hard work of community level. Winning of So I'm very optimistic about what will happen on November third. Yeah. I like that you mentioned young people in as a matter of fact, you mentioned pen sue I absolutely. Adore I. think that we have been so blessed and so fortunate that he was the choice for vice president there's so many things I appreciate about him. Last night I didn't event with young Republicans here in Western southwestern PA it turned out to be fabulous event. Well attended and we had John. Pence. Came in. He is the son of Congressman Pence and the nephew of course of our.

"Lawlessness that we see all around us right now you know the Democrats for so long particularly during the convention had absolutely nothing to say about it. Now, all of a sudden we've got Joe Biden he's traveling to Wisconsin today Suddenly he's speaking out what changed with change, speaker Gingrich. Well I look I think that you have to recognize that it's not at all clear. what's going on out there and I, think that. people like Biden. First of all the polls are now so bad on the issue of violence. That, even something like Don Lemon on CNN, news isn't my gosh she's gotta get ahead of this some I think it's totally hypocritical. baby huge problem. the base of their activists wing. Believes in violence believes and having district attorney's not prosecute criminals that believes in reducing the funding or eliminating totally. Police Force. Genuine sincere belief by the dynamic activist wing of their party and so Biden is trying to in a sense both sides at the same time. You can't really come out for example, and condemn the violence in Portland or condemn the violence in Kenosha or condemn the violence in Seattle because that would offend the left wing of his party and you'll notice that they never quite girl having say the word and. So they could never really explain what the real base of hostility is and why so many people really believe that you're faced with I think an anti-american effort of enormous proportion. Yeah and and really I think people really don't want to see that and the polls indicate that as you suggested and I and I think that the Democrats are finally picking up on that, it may be and I'm hoping. Too Little too late. Would you agree I mean I don't think they can make up for the lost time. This has been going on all summer. Can they possibly make up for? Lost Time. How sure look we live in a very short term memory society. Yeah. Maybe not quite a short term memory by his Biden. Short term memory. Yeah. But the problem is. In the end it's it's it's a bear district attorney's by George Soros is money it is there is there mayors I watched last Sunday. It was just..

"He can't. He's going to walk down the street in New York forget bodyguards. He'd better having me if he thinks he's going to walk down the street in New York. Let me what do you think about that? What the heck? Yeah Andrew Cuomo is a big tough guy You know that's the reality though the you know this is the left they're pushing and and essentially inciting violence I mean what kind of governor you someone couldn't go to St New York just because we disagree with them politically now you look at Andrew Cuomo, how can Andrew Cuomo walk around New York look get the disgraceful job he's done with ours New York has five times the death of the next biggest state five times. Unbelievable percent of that was because of his executive orders sending sick people into nursing homes, the elderly the population that we knew the only thing we knew about corona virus early was had pre existing conditions or elderly. You were much more susceptible. We all knew that my children do that my kindergarten that that didn't stop Andrew Cuomo sending. People into nursing homes those deaths are on his hands. Now, you're trying to get the information about that releasing. Oh. Oh Oh, we can't find it now they lost it does anyone believe that is anyone that's stupid or is it just Andrew Cuomo? That's that's stupid that he thinks he can fool the American people. So they say, Oh, well, we'll have A. Full reporting on November fifth coincidentally two days after the election I mean are Americans that naive are buying this thing? Not at all it's been heralded as some sort of hero of covid nineteen. He's number fifty out of fifty I. mean I understand the Democrats are all about participation medals but you're giving the biggest loser in America the accolades when there's not A. Single medical metric that says, he did a good job. He was literally last place but because he'll say negative stuff about trump you know they won't do it. Look Oh give Gavin newsom some credit. Gavin. NEWSOM got on air with some of these very liberal reporters and say, Hey, listen when I needed anything I called Donald Trump at bid date and the. Next. Day It was there. You know we don't agree on much. We're in forty seven different lawsuits. You know that's why he doesn't get airtime because he didn't take cheap shots for no reason they'll give Andrew Cuomo all of airtime in the world despite literally gross incompetence look at what's going on in New York people are fleeing, new? York. They're not being in. Can't even get you hold trucks. They WANNA the state he wants to tax them to death because you know he has to make up for failed policies of of decades he says it's co- you know he needs multibillion corona relief it's not corona relief. It's fifty years of democratic leadership and incompetence that has put these states these blue states in these kinds of positions and he wants everyone in Iowa states have run responsibly to Bail him out I don't think Andrew and no one's that stupid no one is. No, we're not. We're not buying it anymore listen I. We're out of time and I love having you one. Anthony wrote to her dear friend because he had been working on this for so long become such good friends Elizabeth Katie Stanton on Elizabeth's eighty seventh birthday. Susan wrote we little dreamed began this contest. That a half a century later. Be compelled to leave the finish of the battle to another generation of women. Imagine imagine all of that work a half a century is worth of work and you had to turn that battle over to another generation of women. I WanNa tell you something. We can't afford to turn over the battle that we are in right now for our liberty to preserve our constitution, we cannot afford to turn that battle over to another generation. It has to be one right now it has to be fought right now. And I know. That you and I are up for this task and I want to encourage you with only sixty one days until election day to do every single thing that you can do. To make sure that we win this battle. A Look at Bird Strike Countermeasures
"Obviously, bird strikes against you feel like this is an issue but it is right and these things especially. If. It's like a goose I mean, that's a I don't know what twelve pound object getting hit by something going for and miles per hour. Well, what what is, what is the damage like here and how do they? What is the technology keeping US safe from safe from these bird menaces it really is testing. That's what it is and designing for the regulatory requirements. So the regulatory criminal for aircraft for twenty five aircraft which are trying to transport category or. Larger business jets is a four pound bird I think is going at VC So that's a pretty fast speed. I'm electrical guy not a structural person but. Those tests are super destructive, and if you ever, you can go online and go on Youtube and see bird strike tests I've seen the other crazy it as look like they become liquid hitting these. Oh Yeah. Everything becomes at that speed is so much energy. Being dispersed in such a short span of time that biscuit the turn Jello. And it Kinda. It kinda it absorbs into the structure in which is running into, and then there's really no way. Today we actually have some competition ways to predict the amount of damage that recur, but we still do testing. So it's sort of a computational I look, and then we followed up with some validation testing. But as we have done that the last several years, we kinda get more and more. So the computational side. But? It's very easy to see aircraft that was struck by birds and the level of damage because it usually is not just one bird usually they're flying into a grouping birds. So birds hit windshields knows Rome spurts, wings, Burns, hidden vertical stabilisers, or horizontal stabilisers. burs being adjusted into engines are a huge problem because you can. On a wing, you can penetrate that leading edge and get into the thing. They got a fuel got fuel coming out right on an engine. It's going to go through that engine and you can lose or maybe maybe worn more than one bird typically but you can lose that particular engine and just like you're talking about with sully where they had birds go in and both engines in Las both engines so. It's. It's a really serious thing in if around airports that have bird probes and it tends to be at least in our part of the World Canadian geese that migrate want to hang out at the end of the runway. You'll see things like these noise canons, propane cannons at fire off once a minute to encourage the burs lands somewhere else because at a Canadian geese is bigger than a four. Pampered. Right So if you hit something that's obviously hopefully, you're catching it closer to the crown where you're going to get slower speed. So the energy last but the amount of damage that can occur bird impact is substantial substantial to the point where now we do a lot of testing to make sure that the bird can't bring down an airplane but still in the sully situation burs going both engine just really not much you're gonna be able to do their. The FAA puts up notices about where birds are. Philadelphia had a problem for a while. So yeah, it's it's really really serious, but it happens pretty often a lot more. It happens more often than lightning strikes in my opinion early, the damage more visible the lightning strikes because it is a debt left somewhere. On, the aircraft when shield knows radio. All over all over well so these engines are pulling in so much air and creating so much thrust. Create like vortex where a is more likely to go into the engineer or not really so much everything's happening. So fast I, mean you can kind of suck it in if it's if it's not directly in that lie in that line it can definitely could pull it in just grab. Yeah. It can kind of graphics. They do have some Massar but it's the engines pulling so much air sucking so much Erin to it it's it's like a vacuum just going to say anything it's around it into it So the engine manufacturers, Ge's Pratt and Whitney's the. Royce look at that as part of the one of their certification task is to validate what has a bird. Goes to the engine because what you don't. WanNa do is. Start loosening the heavy rotating parts of the rotors. Rhoda per situation. So not knowing you lose a bird, but then he got this flying grenade of an engine blowing holes in the wing and the fuselage and tail, and all this other stuff causes other problems. So it's it's a really serious certification thing but when we don't think about that much. I don't think of all the years I don't think about an aircraft has actually struck a bird I've seen damage from it but close but I don't think I've been an airplanes actually struck a bird. Have you ever been an airplane? That's? Not. What it now now makes me very nervous. So. Limited have my eye out for these birds album. I worry about it with a Canadian geese are or this large flocks in occasionally see it editor ports as you drive into an airport like There's a large flock of whatever geese hanging out down here. That probably smarter hope not taking off in that direction today.

I never went to the beach either so crazy and it was so close but I just always wanted to get out of Kelly because it was. It was like, yeah, which degree. You're older one. Thank you so much for sending over some of skincare routine some of the oil they add stretch mark oil that I received and the postpartum bath IDs phys called. Back fits bath there it is I can't wait to. Lying the bathtub after baby and just enjoy myself. But let's talk about your skincare line. What is what is Montana skincare? How'd you come up with the name? What products do offer tells about like this whole journey yeah, Abou- in how your mom inspired it. Yeah. So modern organics is basically a simple plan face care line devoted to mothers and just kind of help navigate distress that pregnancy in early maternity kind of brings with say if in fun ways to pamper yourself in your growing belly but just also that self care aspect of creating that moment for yourself, it really comes through in our products and I wanted to really create something that I felt was safe in fun for MOMS to enjoy. During pregnancy and after and when creating the brand in finding the name was actually a really unique coffee for me because I had to really look to motherhood my own mom and my daughter and my daughter's name is Netanyahu, which in Hebrew means God's gift and that really resonated with me really love them meaning so much because I gonNA lose women that at a young age I knew I wanted to be a mom it was just one of those. Things like I always wanted to be a mom you know I I saw myself being this working mother never a soccer mom but I just always Selena most likely Napoli herself with a Mile Yeah. Yeah. So when I became a mom at twenty six seeing age, my mom became a mother not planned at all. It was like just such a miracle for me and so the name really resonated with me and when I was looking to my daughter and my mom. Montana just came in mind because in Hebrew that means gift. So I really loved that it had that cultural background but that me that you know that I really wanted to share the knowledge support in a widely wanted to give mothers that nurturing safe fun way to pamper themselves. So just as the NAIPAUL's that kind of gift remains part of the mothers that we nourish. but yeah, that's that's kind of like a little bit of the background. How I came up with the name in stuff We're you know we're kind of early on you know I, have a stretch mark oil instance bath, and both of them kind of again always keeping in mind how I want to like. Create a skincare. That's really mother's. Centered I couldn't find anything when I was pregnant in terms of oils that was fast absorbing save accessible just easy to put on in a lot of my friends as well. Overall consensus was like, Oh, I am do not use oils I. Typically use creams and lotions because oils are just sticky there messy. You shouldn't be really meeting people a toll really unless you're doing that sort of meet one person from a household that isn't yours and obviously you keep two meet. The day is Great. I think that's aiming it's where you put hands together and give us lots of bowel. That's what that means. What did you think it was this video on my social media's I did with grandma and I feel that non est of just clicked Nama stay. Mammoth stay an A. M. S. T. E. I believe it's the spelling mass day anyway. Go we've come but interestingly social kissing started in India and then it came over to your Alexander. The great and the Raymond's popularize in Europe. But then of course in the seventeenth century you had the great play. And that was a occasional epidemic and basically everybody stopped social kissing off to that and bowing and other greetings took cold. So it's very interesting. Sort of going forward. We probably won't during showcasing because of another epidemic so history is just repeating itself in in that so we'll do stay potentially or when we are allowed to get within two meters we might do the Wuhan Elbow. Just touch elbows Something else. That's what my friend. Jonathan I calling it. I think he called it the hand flake. But I'm calling it the elbow. You can do that. Oh actually very. Escapism vs Essentialism - Short Term vs Long Term
"The discussion about escapism verses essentially is really question about short term versus long term. Now what does that mean for Your Business? My Buddy Nicholas Ronco headed into the other day with my other buddy rod gun tools on his show the rod life now put a link to that video in the comments below so that you can go and check it out but one of the discussions that one of the parts of this discussion. That became really interesting was when they talk about spas and this concept of escapism versus essentially. And what Nicole was saying was basically much. Spas tend to offer escapism. Whether that's in the form of pampering beauty. It's an escapism. Whereas what we really need to be focused on for the long term sustainability of a business is the essentially which might be things like I guess. Health Nutrition exercise and look my views on the idea of spas once on needs a pretty well known. So why go into that but I do think it's an interesting lens to look at things through escapism and essentially them because to me. It's a question of short term versus long term. Escapism is all about that. Short-term response from reality whereas essentially is about more of a long term sustainable view two things and look I think in the context of every business both the fine and certainly a market for both certainly right now during this crisis. No one would begrudge you a little bit of escapism. Let's be honest but at some point you need to get back to reality. You need to move on to more long-term more essential things so I think when you look at Your Business. It's good to look at it through these lanes of essentially escapism. What are you actually selling? You selling essential items or are you selling escapees and again either is fine and the reality is most businesses have probably selling both. But I think it's important to know at which point you're selling escapism versus essentially them. Because that to me informs how you'RE GONNA message it informs me what the price point. He's IT informs. Even the timing of when you're offering it so I think looking at your business through a lens of escapism versus essentially short term versus long term. I think it's a really powerful thing to help. I guess redefined what you'll really selling them. What the real value is that your bringing to the market. So do yourself a favor gone have looked you'll business through that lanes of escapism. Essentially I think it might be pretty revealing orbiting. That is it for today. I do thank you for your time and I. We'll be back again tomorrow.
Feel Good Habits with Jordan Samuel
"If they're another habit before I to he question super easy but honestly for me and I don't know about you or anybody else but Vena former dancer loving music and for me. My like outlet used to be even jogging on the treadmill doing the elliptical with headphones and listening to good music or even taking Zuma class but is it does not have to be a structured workout. It doesn't have to be anything on the computer but putting on music on a speaker in your headphones like I'm watching my husband right now. He has his headphones listening to good music. But listen to good music and just dance around. Move your body. Just I mean movement. In general we know is a great habit. A great thing for buying absolve skin everything but Put that music on while you're cooking dinner dance around have fun. Just have your own dance party. Honestly have your own damn dance party because it's so good. It's so good for your body. It's so good for your mind and I just think that I can't imagine people and I'm sure some people are in there blasting their music in their indoors but it seems like things are quieter at least around here in Seattle quiet. I don't hear music in the building. I don't hear music outside. All here is the news which is not great so good uplifting music dancing around and just like work at help. I've got a business idea. Iffy house policy the APP. Yes went don't party with Jordan. Samuel would be in that party and also I've done view these interviews now and what's really struck. Me Is how people are saying that the skin care routine is always a good habit but is something that they then looking at it in the same way as they were so what used to be. Maybe perhaps quite functional all I want to do that. I want to use this to get this result. It's now definitely becoming more of a pampering experience and I wondered whether you've changed that as well well for me being in the skin-care World I've always made it a superpower inexperience. Also because it's whether I'm trying a new product out from our lab or my lying or from another line or from friends line or something like that. I've always really used it as I'm also a big believer in facial massage so I do take time in my routine anyway But yeah that routine is happening like clockwork morning tonight. Because that's reminding like Goto but I'm happy. I'm happy to see the people. Yeah are are sort of also seeing the point in everything they're Using I think by having to be more pampering having it slowdown a bit having More self care they can look at each product and see its function instead of sort of like. You said I mean yes functional. But sometimes it's just use X Y and Z. Because you've been told to use X Y and or because you but now to really look at what each thing is doing what it's bringing and And if it's serving a purpose for you do
The Hotel Spa Industry Emerged At A Time Of Crisis
"Welcome today thirty. WanNa look down here in Malaysia. Back in the storeroom as you can see now if you've followed the show at. Oh you know that that normally means I'm picking up a suitcase or dropping off off on a trip. Not Being had at the moment just been kicked out of the House for Awhile. Actually so here. I am forbid of a change of scenery now following up on yesterday's episode where we spoke about the birth of Mandara SPA during the Asian Financial Crisis. That was also the time when really the entire hotel spire bar industry kind of emerged because prior to that it wasn't really a widespread thing. I mean notwithstanding Simon's comment that there are a couple of hotels that maybe had those facilities. It certainly wasn't a big thing. Like spas become today so it was really during that time during the mid nineties in the wake of that Asian financial slash global financial crisis that this hotel spa industry emerged as a real thing. Now there's a few reasons for that. I think partly because hotel saw that obviously as a new revenue stream which I think is a good thing the other thing of course was that they probably saw as a US p because if most of your competitors don't have this then you putting in a spa all of a sudden it becomes unique selling proposition for you. I also think that was an element of the world just needing to pamper themselves a little bit. Basically people needing a positive note on the back of the crisis and the turmoil that they went through. Now what's going to be interesting? Coming out of this crisis is that proximity is a big part of the problem. And of course spas are all about proximity so how we as housing general and Hotels Spas specifically deal with those proximity issues. Certainly over the next three six twelve nine months. That's going to be a very interesting challenge for us but setting aside the SPA business in the hotel business for a minute. What are the industries? Do you think are going to emerge at this time on the other side of this crisis either right now in the middle of it or on the other side of it things like online education. Come to mind. Businesses already exists doing that but it certainly hasn't hit the mainstream at this point in time after this. Maybe it does things like online conferencing again. Same sort of thing. It's been around for a while but it hasn't really become the norm in terms of an online conference global conference that he's online that may wellbeing industry that emerges on the back of his. So if you can think about other industries that may well emerge really come to prominence during this time of lockdown or immediately prior in the chaos. Then you can think about what services you can provide for it. Because there may well be things that you can offer to those industries. You don't have to be in the industry itself you can be supporting the industry. There's enough money to be made in supporting industry. So part of the thought process right now while we're in crisis mode planning for the chaos is to try and imagine what of Industries you think might emerge either during or on the other side of this current crisis. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below about what industries. Uc really taking off really emerging out of the ashes. If you like of this this cove in nineteen pandemic that we're all going through already. That is for today. I do thank you for your time and we'll be back again tomorrow so yeah.

Congratulations <Speech_Male> to Tony and <Speech_Male> Faye wonderful <Speech_Male> stories. We wind down on <Speech_Male> the year. Now let <Speech_Male> us look at the criteria <Speech_Male> that Tony and then <Speech_Male> fe used in <Speech_Male> deciding which products to <Speech_Male> sell. Because I think this is <Speech_Male> really important. This is <Speech_Male> kind of like step one. <Speech_Male> If you're going to sell <Speech_Male> retail product using using <Speech_Male> fulfillment by Amazon <Speech_Male> or another sales <Speech_Male> channel like if you <Speech_Male> can fulfil these four <Speech_Male> factors criteria. <Speech_Male> Then <Speech_Male> you're off to a great start <Speech_Male> okay. So there's four <Speech_Male> factors or criteria are <Speech_Male> number one personal personal <Speech_Male> interest <Speech_Male> so tony <Speech_Male> as a coffee drinker would <Speech_Male> use these filters himself <Speech_Male> and it wasn't just <Speech_Male> his own interests was <Speech_Male> also number. Two big <Speech_Male> demand you <Speech_Male> know is the rise of cold <Speech_Male> brew coffee which you can you <Speech_Male> see everywhere. Now it's not <Speech_Male> just starbucks like <Speech_Male> independent coffee shop <Speech_Male> is also doing this. <Speech_Male> It's in the grocery store. <Speech_Male> Many different brands <Speech_Male> and kinds <Speech_Male> so personal interests combined <Speech_Male> with a big demand <Speech_Male> and then he he <Speech_Male> was looking for something <Speech_Male> simple and practical. <Speech_Male> That wouldn't break <Speech_Male> okay. So he <Speech_Male> probably not going to sell cold <Speech_Male> brew itself could comes <Speech_Male> in these glass bottles. <Speech_Male> It's also a food and <Speech_Male> beverage product which adds all <Speech_Male> kinds of complexity. He's <Speech_Male> just telling the filters <Speech_Male> can't <Speech_Male> really really easy. <Speech_Male> Simple practical wouldn't <Speech_Male> break <Speech_Male> and last but not least <Speech_Male> a good profit margin <Speech_Male> what is it. Good <Speech_Male> profit margin. Well <Speech_Male> for something like this. Yes <Speech_Male> you at least want to be able <Speech_Male> to double your money. <Speech_Male> Ideally you actually <Speech_Male> want to buy <Speech_Male> something an <Speech_Male> offer a dollar and sell it <Speech_Male> for four dollars vice <Speech_Male> being you know for five <Speech_Male> dollars and sell it for twenty <Speech_Male> dollars. These are just some examples. Examples <Speech_Male> of you <Speech_Male> actually want to have a <Speech_Male> really healthy profit margin <Speech_Male> which coffee <Speech_Male> filters and I'm asks <Speech_Male> products like <Speech_Male> these do <Speech_Male> because the margin you <Speech_Male> have. It's not just the more money <Speech_Male> you make. It's also so <Speech_Male> you know the more mistakes <Speech_Male> you're able to make <Speech_Male> everything is not perfectly <Speech_Male> optimized. <Speech_Male> If you're <Speech_Male> still figuring things out <Speech_Male> a healthy profit <Speech_Male> margin can help so much <Speech_Male> so personal <Speech_Male> interest big demand. Simple simple <Speech_Male> practical wouldn't break <Speech_Male> and a good <Speech_Male> profit margin <Speech_Male> all right. That's my encouragement <Speech_Male> for you at the end <Speech_Male> of two thousand nineteen <Speech_Male> just one more day left <Speech_Male> inspiration has <Speech_Male> good but inspiration <Silence> with action is better her. <Speech_Male> Today's <Speech_Male> show notes are it's <Speech_Male> CISCO DOT COM <Speech_Male> slash ten ninety <Speech_Male> four one zero <Speech_Male> nine four. <Speech_Male> We'll be back tomorrow for <Speech_Male> New Year's Eve and then every <Speech_Male> single day and twenty <Speech_Music_Male> twenty can't I <Speech_Music_Male> can't wait. I hope you'll join <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> me once again. My <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> name is Chris <SpeakerChange> Kelly Bow. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> This is science <Music> school <Music> <Music> <Advertisement> <Music> <Advertisement> <Music> <Advertisement> <Music> <Advertisement> <SpeakerChange> <Silence> <Advertisement> <Silence> <Advertisement> <Music> <Advertisement> <SpeakerChange> <Music> <Music> <Music> <Speech_Music_Female> From the <Speech_Music_Male> onward project.

Tony and Bait Yang lived and worked in one of the most expensive cities in the world. San Francisco Tony was a marketing manager for a large finance startup. While Faye was a product manager at Cisco they met in university ten years earlier many of their friends went on to start companies. They took regular jobs instead. Not that that was a decision. They regretted it afford them a great lifestyle and a beautiful city where they had two kids and earn plenty of money to support them but working at startups can wear down even the most optimistic person after a while. And that was certainly the case for Tony. Who in two thousand seventeen was eager to find stimulation outside his nine to five to do that? He explored the idea of starting aside us. All there is no grand plan. He was just looking for a hobby and figured he might as well pick one. That can make money. Didn't have to be a lot of money. In fact he had a very specific goal in mind. His goal was to earn enough to pay for his fifteen dollar work lunches. He quickly landed on the idea of selling physical product on Amazon. He had a family member who had had success doing that. So it seemed feasible and Tony had two criteria for his product one. It shouldn't be something breakable. Glass Electric's that would avoid quality issues and turns into he had to make at least fifty percent profit margin in the end he decided to sell cold brew filter bags for coffee. It was a product you would use himself being an avid cold brew drinker. Furthermore he'd seen the rise of cold brew in places like starbucks and new it was growing in popularity the product ideas that it was time to find a manufacturer. Twenty hundred on Alibaba where family in China he placed an order of one hundred bags for six hundred and forty dollars after that he found freelancers on fiber dot com to create right the graphics and labels for just over one hundred dollars those were his total startup costs. Soon after he used the fulfillment by Amazon program to list the product for sale although it it was December the Christmas rush. Didn't help in fact he didn't make his first sale until mid January the following year still within a couple of months the cold brew bags were generating enough money to cover his lunches this they tasted. Oh so sweet. In fact he was so happy with his prophets that he regularly indulged himself with extra guacamole. Just a few months later Faye having seen the success of a cold brew bag one on the action for herself they decided to team up and take the side hustle. More seriously which meant it needed. A name came up with d'appel tree free play on the word d'appel Ganger because of course two is better than what they chose to sell a new product under the same brand name to find. Once you repeated Tony's process this from a few months earlier that is she wanted to devise a simple product that she herself would buy one that wouldn't break and had a good profit margin with two kids at home and demanding ending day job. They was always looking around for a tiny moment to pamper herself a little relaxation in her day to do that. She often used all natural beauty and skincare products. After exploring ideas she settled into under masks. These are small patches that are placed under the eye to minimize the look of wrinkled and tired is just what Fay in every other hardworking hardworking woman or man needs to get some of these myself. She and Tony Against source to supplier from alibaba partnered with the pair for their pampering product. Just like that cold brew back back. They listed them for sale and Amazon's ecosystem next like receiving a discount. At a day SPA people rushed to order the doubletree husband and wife team knew. It wasn't a fluke. They were quietly confident that if they launch more products they can replicate their success. They might not all work but Shirley somewhat however before they did that they thought it best to learn how to actually run a business because while doubletree was a successful side hustle they knew it had potential for more their biggest challenge was separating their business and personal lives for that proper for boundaries of. Who would work on? What in the second hurdle was prioritizing? What needs to be done and win? Something almost all silas struggle with at least at first over the next just eighteen months Tony and Faye expanded their product. Line to include full face masks foot. Detox is vitamin C face serum most of which sold well. They attribute the success to building being a strong brand and focusing diligently on customer service many of their sales come from repeat customers so providing that great services. Something they pride themselves on I try to offer it to each and every customer. Those customers have spoken by opening their wallets to the tune of forty thousand dollars revenue per month too large by anyone's standards and allows for enough profits. That Tony Money is going full. Time in two thousand twenty to have a real go at growth. If all goes well fate will quit her day. Job Next for this married couple of the money is just one benefit. They're also thrilled about being able to own their time and see a path to building their future..
