"Her words not yours, Cory or anybody completely. Yes, let's be clear those are lizzo's words. She's making a self assessment and so that is a quote. So lizzo is shouting out from the rooftops about her gorgeous curves in a new interview with people sharing enthusiastically. I think I have a really hot body and I'm embracing that more and more every day. The Grammy winner is also praising other newsmakers like Kim Kardashian, who is also helped change minds about what a healthy body looks like. So Kim Kardashian might not be someone's ideal, but she's a body icon, and she has created a modern day beauty standard. So that's how lizzo regards the fabulous Kim Kardashian, and that's only given lizzo more and more confidence and power to create her own beauty standards. She noted, and one day that would just be the standard. Now, lizzo is hoping that the conversations around her body and other women with a similar shape will stop and she can just be appreciated for her talent. She says, okay, we all know I'm fat. She shared with people. I know I'm fat. It doesn't bother me. I like being fat, and I'm beautiful, and I'm healthy, so can we just move on? There's something about her confidence, though, like we know that fat jokes are something that exists way, way, way too much. We don't do them on this show or a website. We don't do that stuff. But people do, and they get a lot of readers about that. And that's just a fact of life, not a good fact, but it's a fact lizzo is looking at this in the eye and saying this is who I am and she's doing it on the cover of people, magazine, you go, girl. Hey, quickly. Before we get a break, Pam Anderson has announced that she's putting out her own documentary, saying I'm not a victim, I'm a survivor. So Pam is ready to tell her story her way in a new documentary on Netflix. She announced the news on social media with a handwritten note. It was lovely. My life a thousand imperfections. She went on to say a million misperceptions, not a victim, but a survivor and a live to tell my story. It's been produced by her son, her youngest son is excited about it too. And the reason that this is making so much news is in a couple of days. The new series, Pam and Tommy starts on Hulu or this stars. Lily James and Sebastian Stan, so what pan is basically saying is no, no, no. You're not going to tell my story for me. I'm going to tell my own the problem is iPhone..

But I don't know why my voice is changing. I feel like I'm going through puberty. It has to do with the Woody Allen versus Mia Farrell document. Oh, series. I should say that began on HBO Sunday Night. I'm going to talk some more about that because I watched the first episode and have a lot of things to say. But first, I wanted to open up with, did you see the interview the other day Pamela Anderson and a new husband, Dan hey Hearst? Schmuck, Dan, hayhurst, who left his wife in three kids to one from building pants deck to fucking the former Baywatch babe. All his wife and kids had no idea. I mean, his wife had dinner with Pam. They became friendly. And this asshole decides to stop. I mean, things like that can happen. I'm sure that marriage wasn't good in some capacity. But he really looks like an asshole on top of looking like an asshole physically. Now he looks that way more in a broader sense. But I watched this video of an interview they did. Some British show called loose women, which that's kind of funny in itself, to be interviewing Pam Anderson, a show called loose women. And they call her up and she's in bed. She and Dan answer the phone while under the covers, which, by the way, John Lennon and Yoko Ono did this S.W.A.T. 40 something years ago. 50, maybe. Come up with something new, Pam..
What Happened to Pamela Anderson's Face?

It just, you know, the whole thing of being in bed with your new husband, you're 6th fucking husband. It's getting tiresome. And I didn't know it was Pam Anderson at first. I thought they were interviewing dame Judi Dench. That's what Pam is turning into. I mean, I don't know if that's her face without makeup or if this is just what she settled on with cosmetic procedures. I have no idea what option is saddest. But ladies, you got to stop injecting bullshit into your cheek into your cheekbones. It looks like you got two hamburger buns below your eyeballs. Do you think men think that your natural look? "Pop. It is Friday. We have got our drinks and the weekend is almost here. I can not believe Terry hatcher came back after it at the yesterday's. She likes punishment. She does. More fun. Are you kidding me? Well, I'm here for it. Thank God, Lonnie love is here to punish your ass, even more. You guys, one of the most anticipated music events of the year is not going to happen at least right now. Adele just postponed her Vegas residency. She broke the news in a very emotional post on IG. I'm so sorry, but. I ain't ready. We've tried absolutely everything that we can. To put it together, in time, and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID half my crew half my team at the time of COVID. They spit off. And I'm sorry it's like last minute we've been away for over 30 hours now trying to figure out and. We run out of time really embarrassed and I'm so sorry to everyone that's traveled again. I'm really, really sorry. You know, Adele was supposed to perform tonight at Caesar's. Yeah. And some tickets were selling for over $40,000. Yep. And she has promised to reschedule those dates. Yep. Now, Adele, I know people are dropping out like flies, but I know a lot of people looking for a second side hustle. You know, I can work the ticket stand. Terry can make some drinks, and if you give blonia a pack of new ports, she can be the smoke machine on the side. So while turkey with the Newport, okay? Let me tell you, this is not her fault. First of all, I feel sorry for the fans, because what people don't understand is this was an experience. A lot of people paid airline tickets to come to see her, okay? I don't think this is her fault. I think it's her teens fault. I think that they probably didn't tell her everything that was going on. And that's why you see the emotion that you see. That's what I think. Oh, you can't blame her a team. You have to blame a Marion. He the one who did this? I'm not. Omarion. I need this. And by the way, I don't need to cry. Because I'm telling you right now, if I paid $40,000 for tickets to see Adele and I went there and it was half of a show and there wasn't any type of you know that moment that I'm looking for. I would rather her postpone on me than waste my time. Okay. I thought, okay. Okay. Okay. Right? Terry. No, I mean, it's really complicated. Clearly that was so heartfelt and heartbreaking. And as a performer, I just listening to those words, the show's not ready, so we can't do it. I was trying to imagine when I've done theater or like when I felt like I can't do it today and yet you just still do. There's that side of it, but then I mean COVID is like this, this equalizer of everything. It really, we've come to this place where we have to understand that things just don't work out. And we are not in control. Yeah. And she's a perfectionist, 'cause you can remember when she was at the Grammys. She stopped a song. When the song wasn't right, she was like, you could tell. You looked at her and she thought, no, no, no. We gonna stop. We're gonna start a lie. And we gonna start over again. But what I'm saying too about her team, I'm sorry, but the delivery delays, y'all knew those delivery delays weren't coming. The COVID people, you may not be able to control that. I understand that. But what I'm saying is that for her to have this much emotion, she's angry. I think she's angry and I also think she's hurt because she understands that not only were people coming to see her. But when you do a Vegas residency, you're talking about hundreds of jobs. You're talking about people who put their lives on hold to rehearse to get there and make this thing happen. And people aren't going to get paid. That's a manager. Yes, but it's all goes down to the performer. No one is blaming the production manager for not getting a check. I'm blaming the production manager because they have my girl over here crying and not really telling her everything that's going on. It was probably telling it it'd be fine. It'll be fine. It'll be fine, and now we get to this last minute, and she probably realized everything that was happening and because she is a perfectionist. She was like, no, we're not doing this show like this. So let me ask you a question. Do you think that she should have went ahead with it? Poppy mache a show together and give people something. No. I don't think so. But that's why I just think it's so it's so tough, but I don't think she should have, but I guess what you're saying and what we're all saying is it feels like someone should have seen this coming sooner. Yeah. Somebody should have owned up to it sooner. So that the fans and whoever has paid all the money in the plane tickets in the whatever could have had an opportunity to pull back also. This is a pandemic. We are trying to act like we keep trying to force things. Sometimes we need to take a step back. That's what she pays her team for to step back and say, wait, hold up. They're surgeons that's happening there. There's things that's happening. It's really hard. I've had two things I had a thing on appearance in Germany and Majorca near the end of last year. That both got pulled like three days before because there was a surge or something. And you know, you're not in control of that. But guess what, Terry? You still got them checks. No, I did not. Something else is getting canceled, Pamela Anderson is splitting from her bodyguard husband. Dan hayhurst. Now they had a whirlwind romance and got married a little over a year ago after dating for only three months. Oh well. A source tells us there was no one thing that happened. Dan just wasn't man enough for pan. He wasn't the man, you know, she hoped he was going to be. Oh. How long do you how often do you think this happens when people rush into marriages? Well, all the time, I mean, you have to go through experience if COVID again, COVID has taught us nothing. Like, you could probably be with somebody for 5 years, but then something like, I actually have a girlfriend who has been married forever and her husband always went to work. But then now he didn't go to work for that completely changes the dynamic. It's like wait, you're going to be in the house with me all day every day. Oh wait, this is different than I thought it was. You know, 100%. I think you have to have experiences with people before you. I think Pam Anderson is this fantasy that a lot of men see? Yes. And you know, it's kind of like I say the Marilyn Monroe effect. Yes..

Since before the election she's been missing since what? Six months ago. Since about the time of the election, maybe roughly a little bit. They don't give a specific date here. But authorities believe the woman voluntarily chose to move to Diamond Fort Canyon and had been surviving off a small amount of food she brought plus grass and Moss. Access to a nearby river gave her fresh water. The sheriff's department was searching for her. They crashed to drone. They went to go find the drama and unintentionally found her. Now to even say that maybe you're just supposed to say poet. I love that. Our brains are so in sync. Now that you just know the stories. You're just throwing them at me. Boom, Boom! Boom! Boom. Yeah, but sometimes you still get mad God, I can't believe you're sending me this garbage. But anybody. Let me be clear for the record Any Pam Anderson story? It's fine. We'll go straight to the front of them. What's straight to the front of the line? Yeah. Ah, this one's very interesting. From the Daily Mail. Pamela Anderson has married her bodyguard after falling in love during the coronavirus lock down. Of course she has, of course, so this is number But it's the fifth marriage. Is that right? I think she's been married five times, but two of them were to the same girl. So it's four. For husbands, but five marriages. I think that's pretty much right and they're all upstanding citizens, and they all lasted about 45 minutes. Remember the one guy she literally was married to for like a week. I think that's the guy that she married twice. Oh, yeah, I think that's the guy so I don't know why she feels the need to continue to get married like theirs. At this point, she should know that that's something she's not particularly good at. And she strikes me and we've talked about this before the whole Julian of Sands. Think Pamela Anderson to her credit strikes me as a very sweet person. She does seem very sweet. I mean, take away the hotness Gigante. Oh, cans, the Hours I wasted on her between the ages of 13 and 18. What are you doing in there? Watching reruns of Baywatch for nine hours. None of your business, Dad. Uh, she just she strikes me as a very sweet yet conflicted person. Troubled. Maybe troubled. Yeah, well, troubled, um, but very, very sweet. She does seem very, very nice. Her and her wedding photos are beautiful. Yeah, she's still amazing. That is what is amazing because we have all seen the The harsher side of pain, right? But then you see these wedding photos and you say What a Just a beautiful woman. Yeah, And she doesn't look like overly made up there or, you know, like she's had pounds and pounds of makeup. She looks very natural and just sort of earthy and really, really beautiful. Now you are a woman. I am. You have been married. I have you have friends. I dono so at some point, isn't there Some woman code or other women have toe like, Stop you If you're keep making these bad choices and going, honey Stop. I think you hit the nail on the head there. I don't know if she has good woman friends. That's the problem. And maybe that's maybe she needs more of those. On days and I will won't pitch in will help. I would be a man friend. She definitely does not need any more of those She gives falling in love with all of them and then marrying that you have to wonder, because you you have a for all we joke about. You get in the car with Ted Bundy. You have a pretty good head on your shoulders. She just like Do they say the right thing to her like I mean, because she's falling for guys that you and I look at them and go. What the hell are you doing? I know I you know, She probably is very naive when it comes to men, and they say the right things and they make her feel the right way. And she's just all in. She follows quick and hard. It's one thing to do it in your twenties, but she's done it into her forties and fifties. I mean, who knows? Maybe this is the one we'll soon we'll be reading about her next husband, Midwestern talk show host Rob Kendall. Maybe. I mean, listen, it's not out of the realm of possibility. Well, we talked about with hammer him numerous times. Because you know he loves Britney Spears. Yeah, And I said, Look, Hammer your head of Kevin Federal line. It's true. So who knows? You believe it? You can achieve it. Give a joke. You're not gonna tell the second story. Oh, I wanna want to split it up. Okay? All right. Ease and people little bit. Yes, This came in a voice mail actually received a voicemail because, you know, I don't have my own jokes. So I got this from one of our listeners. What is electrician's favorite drink? I don't know. Ma quit his electrician's favorite drink. Shock a lot Milk. Got it because of the shocking got it. I got it. Oh, you're welcome. Follow up. Pamela Anderson story from the Daily wire. You sent this one to me as well dead, actress Pamela Anderson announced earlier this week. She's opting out of social media because she believes that is a waste of time. And the big tech oligarchs intend to use their platforms to squeeze their users for money and control their brains. So no more Pamela on instagram or any of the other places that she was. Hosting. I mean, that's a big move by a celebrity. Now let me ask you this question this maybe Maura dude question, But there was a big when I was in my teens. It was a big deal to see someone. With the chest DeLaria. Shall we say of a Pam Anderson on a magazine or on the back of a movie box? I mean, I could remember numerous times, evading my poor mother at the local drugstore to keep the newest edition of whatever magazine Pam Anderson was on. So I could continue to put through without getting noticed. But now everything is so out there, right, and Pamela Anderson is an older woman now. Is it really a big deal that we can't see Pamela Anderson on the social media? I don't think so. And even you know, so the social media announcement came and then the wedding announcement came where we all saw the pictures, So I mean, she obviously has ways and she has good P R. So if she wants there to be news and stories about her, she's going to be able to get those news those pictures and stories out. She she doesn't need to have her own social media platform, like plenty of people do. Daisy and I included because that's how we run our business. But you know, Pamela Anderson made money outside of social media, and she'll continue to you, she said. Quote. I've never been interested in social media. Now that I'm settled in the life. I'm genuinely inspired by reading and being in nature like reading books. No Wow. Let's hope you find strength and inspiration of all your purpose and try not to be seduced by wasted time. That's what they want and can use to make money control over your brain. I mean, she's not wrong. She's not wrong. No, I think it's wonderful. And God bless her. And, yeah, Godspeed. Remember that little turd Ethan Manning. We talked about the other day. The Ginger. Yes, he is a gender. He's also known as a Indiana house, right trying to screw over taxpayers. Yes, I remember this conversation. He's the author of this House, Bill 1134, which would make it very, very difficult for libertarians to get on the ballot, and many of us had pondered. That might be slightly more than a coincidence, since it just happened after Donald Rainwater got hundreds of thousands of votes, many of them coming from former Republicans. Uh,.

"Piano lessons, dance class like Anything and everything that they can get involved in flag football, T ball all of that stuff that you should not get lost on the idea that it's okay just to give your kid a bin of rocks or a cardboard box and just let him go. What is the science behind that? Like, what is what is good for their brain? Why does that Why is a good friend? They don't go into it in this article that based on the experts that I've talked to and other research that we've seen and talked about on the segment about how we're seeing this growing trend of kids, not really knowing how to process negative experiences. I think that that's what it's about. It's about the mental challenge of sitting there and kind of dealing with maybe being unhappy. Or maybe just being alone with your thoughts like a question. That's it. We just turned 42. We're talking about drinking bourbon and watching that Flix and two in the afternoon. Maybe boredom is a good option so that maybe I shouldn't be doing that. Maybe I should be sitting in this room by myself with the lights off it just reflecting am I doing enough for my family? Should I be hanging out and playing with Lex pitch that will drive you to get down? To that bottle of bourbon? No, but to your point. I mean, even this is this is good. Something to remember for all of us. How many of us have had to stand in line for anything? Uh, the greatest example probably standing in line to get a covert test. A few weeks ago, I was in line for a good hour and 15 minutes. I think and then had to sit in my car in the parking lot, waiting for the doctor to come out and administer the test. And I just remember I drove home and got a book because I didn't want to sit there on my phone the whole time. I didn't want to sit there listening to a podcast the whole time. I didn't want to sit there listening to the radio the whole time. I just wanted to do something that wasn't Phone related. But how many times do we stand in a line? And the very first thing we do to kill time? Is puller phone out? I listen, Remember? I think his name was wasn't it Could do that little like alien That would pop up on the Flintstones is that I think was with a G. Thank you. I have a little guns. Ooh, that is in the form of Gary Hoffman. The concept. It's true that pops up if I'm ever waiting for an elevator. And without even thinking like a reflexes. I reach into my jeans pocket, which is not easy. We're just like they like you gotta get in there to the tight jeans and you got to put a little extra. Just pull it out. So I could glance in it because God forbid, I sit there for 45 seconds waiting for an elevator without checking to see if an email or text came in or by account balances are much stock investments or any of that stuff. I think that I'm very guilty of this like I wanted. There's there's very little time in my life where I'm not feeling it with some kind of stimulus. Well, listen this. Not that. Well, you remind me a lot of Pam Anderson and what she said yesterday. Hot very hot. Yeah, he said yesterday was that she is going to stop all social media because it's a form of brain control. And I know what you know when you see that you assume that she's saying that there are people manipulating you for their profit, but really, what it is is it's just turning us into goldfish. That's all it's doing is turning us in it. We're just The dumbest animal on the food chain, and I feel so much better when I put that crap down, even if it's for, like, an hour or two, you know, just going home, putting the phone in another room, getting a book reading it or whatever. Just moving away from it. And then you just feel better. Your mind feels like it works better, all of it. And here's my I'm gonna play Devil's advocate that because I do agree, but just to keep us all from hiking our pants up around our stern and been sounding like the oldest people in the world. What if it's just because we're part of this generation that transition into this right? Like we started out with cable television will never know. Peace of mind. The generation that grew up just on their phones all the time. We'll never get the satisfaction that we get or or in it that go ahead. No, you first year's birthday guy. I was just going to say that. I think that what if you grow up in this and you actually see it as a positive thing right? Because it's just it's a different thing. It's just like I'm the truth. Ah, horrible example. And I apologize in advance. But to me this is kind of similar just in an example Not in my comparison. But my grandpa who grew up in the south there, you know, he would refer to one of my friends as the colored boy up the street, right? There wasn't balance in it. It was it was just different, and he he hadn't had time to adjust to wear. Now, if you said that my kids would gasp in horror and shock if my grandfather said that in front of them were like, Oh, my God. Why would you say that? Like they would be petrified, right? I'm just saying that as an example there's these cultural shift. People aren't ready for. And what if our generation's cultural shift along with everything that's obviously going on in the world is also a technological one. What if our generation is just working on getting more comfortable with being in front of screens and that maybe my kids Are going to struggle with it at all. The only thing that I have seen that would contradict everything. I just said that there tons of research out there that demonstrate that happiness quotient with being out and involved in nature being outdoors in the fresh air really can have an effect on your mental health. Right? And what are you not doing When you're out on a hike? You're not staring at your phone. You know, you're not comparing your life to other people's lives. You're not scrolling and looking at me, Eames. Yeah. Sounds.

"Anatomy as you know things got really ugly when katherine heigl up the show but check out what katherine told me while we were talking about her new netflix. Show firefly lane. you know. We'd every single one of us has probably had that experience. Where when you try to stand up for something or put your foot down about something you're either hysterical or difficult or being a bitch you know that est on this set there was none of that and and felt really protected and i just i am. Incredibly grateful for the experience was phenomenal. Seen some oh jeez. Come back on grey's anatomy. Would you ever go back for a scene. You know. I just. I don't know but i would never say never. Oh wait do you think agrees and adamy which was talking about being caught hysterical or kind of interesting. I feel protected on this baby. She's had some bad experiences or interesting. Experiences meet look. I don't know to be shady and this is not coming off as like a shady thing it's probably gonna come shady because i mean to be jd. But i don't think ended in the best way with shonda rhimes so i don't know if going back to graze anatomy is really your choice. You don't mean like one of those things and somebody gets broken up with and they keep on saying we're going to get back together is such a huge character on the show and you know what though if it really did go down in flames in really catherine felt that way on that particular set it may be vice versa to like shaanxi. Maybe just be like no. He's telling me. Never say never. But i don't think she's just saying that because since probably not sweet like yeah she's not gonna ever publicly say anything she doesn't want to cause a feud or get into that mess again are into that conversation again. But truthfully i'm sure catherine desperately go back. I just feel like why is it so hard to say and i know i feel this way as well like whenever you want to say. That time has passed and ship. Has and i think i've moved on from that stage of my life. She could have said that she didn't say that. I feel like people would have turned it in to something bigger. Tell you this right now. She left her signature on air. She superglued. I'm not gonna tell you what she said. You gotta watch documentary really hearing that out of all the things that people have said about wendy maybe over the years if you even dare call her. Not savvy are smart. she's gonna get super pissed off because she's my girl like she was like she was like. Finally i can talk and tell you. I knew this the whole time. "Katherine heigl coming back to grey's anatomy. It sounds crazy but you will not believe what she just told me i. Pamela anderson is sparkling great debate. Is it time for us all to quit. Social media pan says yes claiming it is controlling our minds and her big by post. Pamela says she's stopping facebook twitter and instagram. She says i've never been interested in social media and now that i'm settled into the life. I'm genuinely inspired by reading and being in nature. I am free. He says it's a total waste of time. It uses you to make money off you. It controls your brain at all these things. What are you all think. No i get what she's saying. But i want to say that's rich people's problems. Let me tell you something up by myself. The only people i have to talk to is social media and somebody's slides into my dm. Okay brightens your day by day. But i'm sorry but you know what the only thing i will say if you watch that documentary The social dilemma on net mix. It's all about and these are the people that created social media. They said they don't even let their kids on it. Because of what it does and controls your mind. Yeah but you know. I think with all things if you use it too much like is great. I'm so happy was invented but if you drink champagne every single day three hundred sixty five days of your life it becomes a bad thing. I think as americans. We don't know where to draw the line and not be so sucked into addicts. We're on it all the time. I also think look. I get it. She is saying all the things that do make sense. It does take your time. It does make you waste money but the minute you take a moment and really think about what social media is and you wash that documentary start to change the way you interact with biased much off of social media anymore as after seeing that documentary right. Because i ever know came up. I was like i gotta have gotta have besides my head for what i have on braids little. I raised head massage. Your it helps my grade. But the i dunno. It's it's a catch twenty two with me. I truly feel like with my job. I cannot quit social media. I think i would get in trouble. That's pretty sure and the and it's not just my job. It's a lot of people's jobs that really are depending on social media. That's how their businesses are making money. That's how they're marketing. That's how they're connecting with our customers. They feel they don't have a social media they don't have a presence and whether you're even just on for business are a lot of us are on obviously for personal gain in our own personal connections but it's really hard to completely go go cold turkey because a lot of times it affects your livelihood one hundred percent now the houston not it used to just be a hobby right but i do feel now. There's so much money being made up social media that you feel like you're missing out on cash. You are part of it right now. I don't have. I'm working on people's lives now. We have social media stars. It's brought more people to us that we would never know about. It is hard to be a singer. You want to be an act get discovered or sure. I mean yeah. I think for pam personally. When i think about pamela anderson i think about three things i think. Bobby watch i think about that playboy and think about that infamous at. She did with pita about pita. She was one of the first celebrities that really got behind pita and made not wearing for her thing. And i think pamela anderson because she is spokesperson having social media you can reach millions of people and remind millions of people that firfer is just as good as the real thing. And i think what she's going to find is that she can't reach those people like she used to. She'll be back in in six months. But i like what you said in moderation. I think pam needs to say you know what i'm read my books. I'm gonna go walk with nature and then i'm going to go look at instagram facebook right. Like you're in your right to. There's gotta be a balance. You know i think what was it you you did. We didn't know instagram sundays. For a little bit. And i did two months off during the beginning of the pandemic and it was amazing. And you need it like. We put ourselves in check and take a break. Whenever i start shake awesome. Know it was a really really eye opening scenario for me. You know about how much time. I waste on social media. Guess i'm not gonna lie. If george floyd and breonna taylor had never happened. I think i might still be off of social media today absolutely absolutely in moderation. Let's just go ahead and say all right. Well what would you guys. Do your partner told you. They wanted an open relationship. So former bachelorette contestant becca martinez went on dear. Media's not skinny but not that podcast and admitted that's exactly what she wants. "Alabama's Morning news. I'm JT Joining us now. Bills bills under Michael Bauer. Welcome in our anybody. I'm doing well. And you, sir. Pretty good. Pretty good. Well was the nation's capital gets ready for the inauguration of Biden National Guard. Are there the president busy behind the scenes with his plans? How many partners are 100 or so maybe more. That's what we're hearing. We're hearing that the list tops. 100 may go over that we know that there were at least according to aides behind the scenes. There was a meeting on Sunday where they were combining two lists into one finalized list here on that. That has been, I guess officially accomplished. We just don't know what that number totals now. We're not exactly sure the names that are on the list. We know that there have been a bunch of names that have been sort of swirling around some talk about by the president before others, just ones that are sort of an expectation. One thing's. For sure Those aides do indicate that these pardons are likely to be criticized as they are any time. Any president does. Pardon, That's what happens. There are believed they need to believe that this is going to be a little bit more criticized because it's President Trump because they're always looking for something there and that when it comes to the intense lobbying of the president by attorneys, political allies and some other interested parties, the president has had that happen A lot of times in front of the cameras like when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were there, we know that there have been approaches by Snoop Dog. To try to get the president to commute the sentence of death Row records co founder Michael Harry Oh Harris, who's nearly 16 has spent the last 30 years in prison for attempted murder and cocaine trafficking. We know that little Wayne rap star Little Wayne is somebody who's been a supporter of President Trump's Pled guilty last month to a gun charge is somebody who might be able to get a pardon from President Trump. And then there's some political base names you're seeing Sheldon Silver. The disgraced former New York Assembly speaker is somebody the president has talked about before possibly issuing a pardon to and even yesterday named the blast from the past, as if all of these words but Blast from the past. Pam Anderson Azzan, Baywatch star Pam Anderson on Fox News, speaking on behalf of Wikileaks founder Julian Hassan's trying to get Julian a song Ah, pardon, so it's kind of all over the place. There's a number of different names. There's number two people that you probably haven't heard of before that have been sentenced to 800 years in prison for racketeering. That are all possibly up for a pardon or or clemency from President Trump. Who that actually is, we won't know until he makes the announcement later today. What about Giuliani and some folks, it's closer to him. For all the attacks that have been going on since he was elected by the Democrats on then let's talk about the possibility of, you know, parting himself. I heard over the weekend. He wasn't going to do that. Uh, you know if he can do that, I don't know if he can or not. But there was also talk about you know, Pence, you know Taking over and President Trump stepping down so he could do that. So what about those different options there? Well, it's sort of like Giuliani and people like Steve Bannon names that were at one point in time, sort of top of the list that we're a part of the Trump administration and or campaign. It looks like according to Rudy Giuliani, he's not expecting to get a pardon from President Trump. That would be one of those ones that kind of Ah, pre cursory, not necessarily that there are any laws broken on behalf of Rudy Giuliani. But with the precursor from a federal level, same thing with the kids, the trump kids were all sort of listed in the possibility of getting this pre cursory pardon from President Trump. Apparently according to what we're hearing, it doesn't look likely. Then you look at Steve Bannon, the name that wouldn't be shocking if they did give him one. But seemingly, he may have fallen down the list a little further. It doesn't mean that he's off the list. It just be me that they have other priorities that they're getting to first. So what to see what happens today? But as for, you know, being able to or calling for a any kind of a pardon on himself right now, that's a legal challenge that you'd have seen that it's unprecedented. Nobody's done it so far, so That said. There's no rule that says he can't do it. But that would be a legal challenge down the road. The closest thing we had was Nixon back in 74. When he was thinking about it. He went to the office of legal Representation to figure out what they thought of it. And they said, because your you'd be acting as your own judge that's not legally allowed in this country and make your decision for your fate. So they said the president could not pardon themselves, which is kind of the way things have just stood since 74. Well, let's talk about the pardons themselves. Okay? They just the party does not mean a get out of jail free card forever. So Let's say he pardons Giuliani. For what That's first question. Secondly, does does that put a wall of protection around him and others that are pardoned by the president? Any attack by the Democrats in the future over the next year if they decide to come after them. I mean, do they have this, you know Teflon around them that prevents any legal action depends, And that's usually on a federal level. So anything the president can do is federal charges. Only so even if he were to give a pre cursory pardon to Giuliani doesn't mean Giuliani couldn't be brought up on charges in new in the state of New York or in D. C on some level. The other part of that is anyone who gets pardoned by president would lose most of their Fifth Amendment protection against compelling testimony that might otherwise have incriminated the pardon. Family member person associate Making it much easier for the Department of Justice in Congress to require those individuals to give testimony that could prove highly incriminating to trump himself. So it's kind of this double edged sword like Do you want to give him a pardon on something that they may be? Wouldn't be forced to come back and testify against after having lost their Fifth Amendment rights on some level, So it is kind of where you have to ride the fine line here and see what happens and again. It's on Lee on a federal level. It wouldn't pertain to states charges like with the trump family charges in New York. They're still gonna have to face those. You know, the Democrats are going to come after some my trump associates than you know. Political enemies. They've made it pretty clear that companies that do business with former Trump staffers. You're not gonna be looked upon very favorably. Wink wink. So you know, I think there's a lot of, you know, concerned that retribution is a key word when it comes to the Democrats attacking the president people around him so You know, I would do everything I could if I were the president to protect those people from the act of retribution. Yeah, I would say I don't. I don't know Necessarily. What? That what you can predict in those kinds of situations as to what that retribution would entail. Or knowing whether or not anybody was involved in something that down the road there might be charges for But you would certainly try to do everything you could to try to protect yourself and those people around you and isolate his best You could. All right. Michael Bauer. Thank you. I appreciate it. Buddy. 7 19. Alabama's morning news up next What's going on with Jerry improved Tennessee.
