"There are reports of dead animals in and around the train derailment site in Ohio, but I only know that because I watch a lot of Fox News, I guess I know that because I'm a conservative with a show, I don't know that from The New York Times or The Washington Post or ABC NBC CBS. It's not a big story, this train derailment. It doesn't seem to be a strange it doesn't seem to be a big story that three trains have derailed in the last week or two, South Carolina, Houston, east Palatine, Palestinian Ohio. Wouldn't you think that if toxins were released into the water? And the air, that's a big story? Why is it not a big story?

"Or like in lost judgment, you piece things together before the story gets there and you're like, maybe it's this. And then it turns out to be that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you start doing following these threads in your head, you know, and it's kind of satisfying when you reach the conclusion. Reg, what you got. Well, I was a fully agreeing with the team dynamic. But that's one of the most important things for me in games. Persona, the group getting their persona. Those games you played the series of trails. Trails, not tails. Did trails have trails has across all of the games recurring characters that interact with each other. Yeah, across several games. And it's good, right? Like you like those characters. Well, maybe he's a glutton. Oh yeah, right, right. Maybe there were other things about it. No, I pretty much skipped out of the combat of that game. I was all about the story at the car. Story mode. What about you, silver? Probably historical aspects. That's probably one of the main drivers for me. If a game, really, that's true of any sort of fiction, whether it's a game or television show or whatever it's based. If it's somehow based in history, it immediately has an interest for me. Are you playing the AC games? Would you say? Sorry, sorry, like the AC games would you say or? Absolutely. I mean, as has the screen is a big example of that because my interest in this as a screen is as a kind of historical tourism. It is going back to these old historical locations to seeing a rendition of an idea representation of what they may have looked like. That has now, especially occasions that have been lost. So like this ancient city of Corinth. Yeah. Yeah, that's always cool. Which was raised to the ground by the Romans. What might that have looked like? What might Ancient Rome actually have looked like on the Palatine hill and stuff like that? That really, really fascinating and treats me as a sort of tourism aspect. Absolutely asked you an evening. Go ahead, Abby. Do you remember? Did you play? Or did you get into it at all? I have started and I'm loving it so far, yes. I thought it would be right down here, Ali. Do you know what? What I like is slightly off of silver's. I like. It wouldn't be called that. I like it when we are, it doesn't even have to be real history, but I like it when there's a guess on what it might be. So for example, Vikings, no one, like dude, they dig up one thing and base all of their books on one thing.

"I worked at a mom and pop pharmacy and Palatine from 1975 to 1976. I worked at the pharmacy where John Wayne Gacy remodel the store. I hold my parents positive upbringing was what protected me at that time to this date. I had a phobia of clowns, okay? That's quite a first job story. I'm sure a lot of folks have 12312 91 7200. I was a baseball umpire, and I've got plenty of stories where that came from. But across the glass, our producers today first. Ben Anderson, what was your first job, my friend. Had a great first job in high school. I worked for a flower shop. So Yeah, I learned all the greatest things to impress the ladies. What kind of flowers How to arrange them. Okay, so it really set me up for all the future failures in relationship life. What's what's a good flower to say? I'm sorry. Oh, disease disease. Why? They're just they're happy. Tell me anybody that doesn't smile when they get daisies. That's a fair point. All right, Jack. Hunger is here as well. Um, I emailed another producer with a similar name all week long preparing for the show. And then I walk in and like, Oh, it's Jack. Hey, Jack. How you doing, my friend I'm doing Well, How are you? Sorry about that. No, you're good. What was your first job ever? So my first job, I'm actually still employed at it. Wow, but I worked as kind of it's a weird title. Kind of like, uh, set up janitor type at a church by my house, so We would set like big events conferences. We'd set up rooms make sure like people have what they need. But we also do like the bad stuff like, you know, cleaning the bathroom. So I've seen my fair share of bathroom misfortunes. Um, so I'm kind of a view to that. Yeah, right there. But you're still doing some of that. That's cool. Yeah, I'm still I'm still there. Uh, good to have in the back pocket if I need some extra cash, but yeah, yeah, that's really that's a wholesome First job. Nice work, Jack. Yeah. 312981 72 100. I was a baseball umpire at the age of like 11, or 12 like way too early to be educating baseball games and managing adults. And the word that we had. One of the baseball coaches was like in charge of the umpires, which seems like a conflict of interest, like right off the bat like he was one team's coach, and then he also like manage the schedule the empires and he was also the first person I ever had to kick out of a baseball game. I think he felt like he exerted some influence over the umpires and the games that he was a coach because he's the one that signed our checks. And I went ahead once and he was the first person he argue with me on a call and got a little chippy. I thought it was a training exercise car and I thought he was trying to like, feel how feel out how I was acting as an umpire. So I just tossed him out of the game. I find all of this bizarre number one. Why were you not playing? Number two? I'm wondering about your authority issues. A number three that I'm realizing you're the authority. They made you the authorities to me. Yeah. So I played too. So like I played probably in two years ahead of whatever I was umpiring, So I started as like a machine pitch or coaches pitch umpire. And then as I got older, you know, I started umpiring better things. And, uh, you know, older kids I did it for, like 50 or not, probably 10 years or so, I mean love of the game Strong and John Hanson, look at this man. Could go over some really funky baseball rules with you and all sorts of stuff. I'm a real It's because I couldn't play. To be perfectly honest. I was terrible at it, but loved umpiring. I mean, I was going down the road. You must not have been very good. But I wasn't going to say it. Glad you're honest yourself. I was a catcher. So I was okay defensively and like my under my my baseball IQ. Through the roof. My final year of playing baseball I hit Oh, 70, and I got hit 21 times because I crowd the plate. Just that's the only way I could get on base. Talk about wanting to win beyond the team. Good for you. I know. You know what's funny is I made the all Star team many times when I was in little league and it was until I was an adult that I realized the only reason I did it because my dad was the Ulster coach because he was just the guy that would go to the deep and I'm like, man. I'm always on the All Star team. They must need me for my defensive prowess. Do you think your dad was sitting in a corner before he be Welsh? I put John on there. I guess I have to sure. I'm sure it was a discussion with my mother. Like how much of it ego hit Can can. John was staying in our middle child? Turns out not that much. I was on every team. Hell, I think Dad did a good job. Way to go, Pop. It worked out well, 31 to 91 7200 to join the conversation. Got to take a quick break here. Then we got the news after the news. Look, I know the one of the main headlines. The last couple weeks has been the situation in Afghanistan going to kind of pivot to what happens next. I know we have a lot of Afghan refugees. In different countries right now, some making their way to the United States, some making their way to Chicago. And there's been a lot of outpouring I've seen on social media like, regardless of political party. Of and that's great to see of how people can help Afghan refugees as they make their way towards the Chicago area. We're going to talk to an organization that helps out with that, but first to break then the news on W G n the Labor Day savings inside.

Here's a conversation with John to Moskovic. He is the general sales manager. Guilty windows in Chicago who are sponsoring today's conversation with John. Hey, John, How are you? Thanks for joining us. Good morning, John. Thanks. I'm great. Everybody is renovating these days, so when it comes to windows now What if someone wants to put a patio door where there isn't one? I suppose people are trying to open up their houses as much as possible, huh? Sure we can put Windows or patio doors were there currently is not one. We do it several times a year because all our crew chiefs are actual carpenters, not just guys who know how to install windows. We can put a patio door where there's a window or a window where there's a patio door so you don't have to go to a general contractor or a carpenter who buys an inferior window at a big box store. We'll take out the permits where we need to will even paint or stay in the interior trim. So the one we're done. The job is done. When I get to be king, I'm going to make it so construction grade windows and doors are not allowed. So many people are. Well, that's construction grade. What am I going to do? Of course, have to put you out of business. But Do. I have to have the same style then or how does that work? How do you are You able to match it if it's somebody else's stuff. Well, you don't necessarily have to have the same style of window except when it comes to bedrooms. There are codes so that you can get out in case of a fire. But all of our guys know the code in every village, so we're not going to sell you one thing and then tell you later. We can't actually do it. And again, we can make the windows larger in many cases to get you the window that you really want for your bedrooms. So it's had a hot thing right now. Is this a very popular feature from guilty? Yes, A lot of people want to change styles. They don't like the original style that was on the house. Sometimes we have to tell them. No, but a lot of times we tell them. Yes, well, the fact that you're kind of you're kind of turn key is really nice to know, because I think that is in the back of people's mind. If I do that now, I got to get somebody else in there. I got to play general contractor but not with guilty, huh? One stop shop. Yeah. Nice to talk to you, John. In a recent national survey, a majority of Americans said they felt less free than they were five years ago. Only 13% said they felt freer than before. It is so troubling that so many Americans feared the growing power of government over every aspect of their lives. But it is even more troubling that so many people think they can't do anything about it. Defending our freedom and passing it along to the next generation undiminished is the first responsibility of citizenship. We the people are the keepers of our own rights, not the government. We must look through the lens of liberty and every act of government and win. Our freedom is threatened. We must act and kill the government. No. Not on our watch. Then we can leave the next generation more free, Not less. For more information, Go to lens of liberty dot ord That's Lens of liberty, not bored. "My family went from totally crazy to quiet, calm and even peaceful when Mom started going to Alan on family groups. Wanted a better relationship with Dad. So I asked Mom if she would take me to her? Ln on meetings or the Palatine? I'm sure glad I did. If someone's drinking troubling you, you might be surprised what you can learn in an Allen on or Palatine family group from people just like you. Call 18884. Alan on or go to Alan on Dog exciting. We can a football I'm taking the Packers and the bills in the Super Bowl. You didn't ask, but I'm telling you You took the Packers and the Bills. Lucan Alice. Why? Oh, why would you bet against Tom Brady? Was an exciting weekend. That's for sure. But my boy Tom Brady pulled it off. I know why people aren't Tom Brady fans. They feel like enough. Okay, It's your 10th Super Bowl on duh, you know, let's see someone new. But he did it. He pulled it off. What a game. You cannot ignore greatness. And I thought what he did this year is probably is greatest accomplishment. Remember? You know, this is a guy that Had one prior to yesterday had won an invite to nine Super Bowls. 16 of those nine Super Bowls. Four time M v P, but Taking over a brand new team brand new teammates having no off season workouts, no training camp. Doing what he could to get some of his new teammates together and practice on, you Know, football field somewhere in the Tampa area so that they could at least get some timing down. Was just it's miraculous what he's done. It really shows the value and and we used to talk about it all the time. While Michael Jordan played for the Bulls, Michael made everyone around him better. That's what Tom Brady does better than any quarterback in the NFL and maybe any quarterback in NFL history all those players around him and again. He had some talent. Let's not, you know, ignore that on defense that many people don't talk about because you everyone talks about the Brady Bunch on offense. That was a Tampa defense that was Number one in the league last year, Not last. Not this past season, but the season before, so he went to a talented team, but he brought it off together and you need someone that's one before to get everyone to believe. Yeah, You belong in the Super Bowl, and he did that one year. That's what's miraculous warn crazies in with no off season workouts crazy and take that Bill Belichick because that's another thing. It sort of proves is like Was he the mastermind behind everything that Brady was obviously not blue? Obviously not. No, he wasn't. Now, Remember, He's still a great coach. But the quarterback position is the most important position in all of sports. And if you don't have the quarterback position, right? Bears. You know, it's almost impossible to win a Super Bowl. The Final four had the four best quarterbacks in the league. Aaron Rodgers having an M V P season the Goat in Tampa. Uh, Patrick Mahomes, you know, trying to repeat as Super Bowl champion, and Josh Allen, who has had his greatest season has anyone in Buffalo? You need the quarterback to pull it off. Yeah, Sadly, we know that all too well here, right? I mean, it's just It's remarkable. The storylines for the Super Bowl. The fact that Tom Brady is 43 that in and of itself pretty crazy 43 years old playing at the top of his game as well as he ever has, I believe, and I followed him closely. As you know. Look, Patrick from the homes 25. He could be his father, Tom Brady could and Patrick Moms was in kindergarten. When Tom Brady played in his first Super Bowl. How weapons Six years old. Unbelievable, but You know, Tom Brady will be relinquishing the face of the NFL to met Patrick Mahomes if he already hasn't. That's why that's why this Super Bowl is going to be so fun watching even Rob that one pass play to rob Gronkowski late in the game last night just to see the grand get involved. And, um, I'm excited because you're already Mahomes is arguably the greatest talent at quarterback in the NFL right now. But there's more than Tom Brady. Yeah, there's a piece of the equation. Physically talent wise, he is, but the will to win. And be able to lift your teammates to your level. I think it's something that can't be overlooked. And Mahomes has done it in Kansas City, not to the extent that Brady has done it, and Brady has proven even at 43. While athletically maybe his skills aren't where they were, you know, 5 10 years ago. Still, that will to win to get to lead your team mates to believe you belong on that level is something that will see you know, from the homes over the next two years. My homes is also blessed with in my opinion, the best coach in the NFL in Andy Reid Remember. It's a 53 man roster and coaching staff. So there's a lot that goes into being a Super Bowl champ, Not just one guy. It's not like LeBron and the rest of the Lakers going out winning MBA titles for LeBron when he was back in Cleveland, You know, winning titles you need More than just the quarterback in the NFL. And Brady had that He had a great defense in Tampa this year, and my home said that they listen. People talk about Kansas City's went over Buffalo. I can't be overlooked. I get it. The Chiefs put 38 on the board. Was the way that defense played against Buffalo's offense, which no one could stop all season long. Not gonna ask you to predict who will win the Super Bowl because we've seen your predictions. I believe it will be Tom Brady, as we know, go on the record with that, But I will ask you about another quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Kind of interesting and sort of. I don't know, cryptic, surprising to me, probably not to. You know the post game interview, saying that his future's uncertain There are a lot of unknowns going into this off season now..

Presidential Pelotons and data accountability

"What can happen if you have a connected bicycle in the white house and this reminds me. This is actually a good thing. I think to think about because we're old enough to remember this. But you know presidents used to get special. Even obama had a special blackberry created for him. It used to be that you didn't have to worry about cybersecurity because the president in his office had his landline phone rate. In the secret service had radios. And it's not like if you need to get in touch with the president you can get in touch with the president right. Well not you or i but someone important and then cell phones came along and everybody was used to posting on twitter and doing their thing and this became a real concern for people who are worried about foreign powers spying on presidential communications and now with the bringing in of connected devices. Maybe not a smart home like i don't think the white house kitted out with philips hue bulbs but a peleton is an entry point into the network so my hunch is i would. I would love for someone to tell me how to secure the peleton in the white house is on its own dedicated network. Maybe that can't touch anything else. I mean i'm trying to think of the ways that this could be bad. And i'm not really a hacker so i don't know but i like that we're thinking about this because we're probably going to benefit down the road as the defense insecurity infrastructure for the us figures out how to secure the stuff that will trickle down to the rest of us. And we'll get new an awesome best practices and the peleton itself. I mean it can track your heart rate at belief certainly detracts the rotations of the the bicycle tyre tyre but flywheel and so on and so forth like you could get in personal health information from if peleton's data was hacked or whatever and that sounds like who cares but really a foreign power could determine that while publicly every the president's in good health etc maybe he isn't and they would know that and that could change some outcomes. I think peleton does is great and we didn't think about this from a security standpoint but my wife wanted it on and we just didn't buy it because it was too expensive for us so we bought a non connected bike for about four hundred dollars and she the peleton digital classes so no data is actually tractor or something like that. And i'm not saying go do this for security reasons. Or that's what biden should do. But that's one way to mitigate it no. I don't think there's any speakers in like i don't know if he needs to watch what he says. He can't talk about microphones. My bad microphones. Right i've ridden a friend's palatine. And i don't recall that but i was also dying by the middle of my ride so i told you including speak. Anyway i'm like. I don't think anyone wants to hear me. Okay so just throwing that out. There is interesting security thing and something like we should all be aware of going forward. And maybe we'll get some new best practices out of this.

Now back to David Hochberg and Home Sweet Home Chicago, 31 to 91 31 to 91 7200 phone lines text lines. Blowing up. We're gonna go out to Pat. First TV. Okay? We're doing a wellness check. That was Stephen. A lady losing a lung. Essentially that I beat the microphone as I'm doing my little tease those air called teases Steven. Like hacking in the background Like the love of God. Can you hold on to it until I'm off the air? Pat? How are you? I'm fine. David, You're so funny. That's what my wife says all the time. Quite a jokester. How can I help you? Well, Yeah, I would like to know if it's worth my while to redo my mortgage. Um, I had tried last year and the mortgage company said no, it had not dropped enough to be worth my while. But Have I only old 44 8 on my house. It's a 15 year mortgage and I'm I'm about halfway through that it's 3.8% that I am paying. Now I pay my own insurance and taxes. Set up my own ass girl for the for the house. How much money do you have in your checking and savings account right now. Oh checking and savings accounts. I've got I got what almost 4000 in my escrow for taxes this year, and I've got about 4000. Yeah, in my maid checking account right now. Okay, So here's something to think about, Okay? Have you if you go into a 15 year, fixed loan, your closing costs and some alone that small because it's tough for mortgage professionals to make any money, let alone that small. Okay, I'm just I'm just telling you the way it is. Yeah, I think that's what the guy told me last year. Okay, well, that's a honest that's an honest mortgage profession. So there's a couple of different ways you can handle it. All right, And we just had this call with another listener yesterday. Um, that similar lawn size. They had a $31,000 mortgage. They had $9000 left on a car loan that was costing of $300 a month. So long story short, we recommended that he goes into a home equity line of credit. Okay. And then you use your home equity line of credit as you're checking and savings account and you'll pay that home off faster, right? So you'll keep $1000.500 bucks in your checking and savings account that you're earning. Less than one half of one half of one half percent. Okay, You're not making any money in your savings account now. Yeah. Okay, So if you move it over into your line of credit that's going to cost you 3.875 to 4%. And you use your everything that you get you sweep into your line of credit. You'll pay the line of credit off a lot faster than what you're doing now and then you'll have the line of credit open like game and I were talking about earlier. The best time to get a line of credit when you don't need it, So you have it when you need it. When you never thought you would need it, it's there, okay? So I could help you off the air pet because we got to talk about bankruptcy here. But for the the small loan amounts, Okay, it's a line of credit would be the best thing to get them and use that then to pay off. Margaret? Yes, because then you would use that to pay off the mortgage. How much is your homework again? About 300,000. Okay, So if you most banks would go to to 40 right now, in the first lien position, and I know you only need 40 44. But if you qualify for 2 40 take it because why do you take it, Amy? It's there when you need it because you can, and it's there when you need it. Okay? And the interest on out that Z basically about what you're paying now, Okay, I'm not 3.83 Point 824% somewhere in there, and you're only pain on what you're using. So if you're only gonna pull out 40,000, you're only going to pay the interest on that 40 so And then as you pay it down more and more principle, more more payments going to the principle? Yes. Liner credits are a little more risky than fixed great loans. But the economy if you haven't looked sucks right now, and the Fed chair has already said the he doesn't anticipate short term rates going anywhere. Fed chair Pelle So if you could blast the hell out of this over the next 3 to 4 years, you're going to be in a much better financial situation. Pat and the line of credit. Guess what. Yes. What, But there it is. Thank you. So I set you up and come on. Don't leave me hanging like that. I'm 81 years old. Just get this house paid off before I you know, kick the bucket, and I understand You know, I totally understand. Here s so they'll do the line of credit for what? No closing costs. So I'm gonna hook you up with somebody that that's going to take care of You, okay? All right. We're gonna set you and you have hardwood floors, don't you? I could tell I do? I I could tell I could tell when a woman has got a good That's a good intuition. I got steel beams down through the whole center of my house. I love steel beams. I'm gonna say so. I'm gonna send you some Mr Floor cleaning product. Okay. Thank you. You're awesome Pad. Hang tight. Hang tight. Hang no, thank you. Pet 31 to 91 7200. Gentlemen working down the board of Trade. $120,000 IRAs. Tax Challenge Listener actually works at McCormick Place or on that portrays a trade show. Yeah, I have guys that work down at the border trade, too, But they haven't been hit as bad. As like the trade show business has been hit Very bad. How's that? Working out from the past nine months? Terrible. Yeah, well, no, no work. And so here's a guy who made a lot of money. He came to me some years ago. Six years. Seven years ago, we set up some sort of payment plan with the I R s because he was making a lot of money. He had to pay the IRS. But now things changed now. Now he doesn't have the money to pay the iris. And another thing. That changes is if You'il the iris money for last year or the year before. You can't discharge that in bankruptcy, even if you could file bankruptcy. You can't get rid of that debt as it gets older than they can be discharged. Sometimes income tax can be discharged in bankruptcy, so your situation changes on your income changes. As again if I mean if I if I may working down, McCormick and I made some money now I can't make any money things that change he's making now. Unemployment. I think it's $1800 a month doesn't doesn't pay his car bill. So he had a car payment at $1700 a month because he had a nice car because he made a lot of money and a nice car..

Some common misconceptions about phobias how they impact multiple areas of person's life. And how phobias are treated if you hear something that resonates with you are listening. Please share with us on social media using the HASHTAG. Tb In session. Here's our conversation joining us today. Mandy thank you so much for having me. This is such an incredible opportunity. I'm a member of the therapy for black girls community. I'm just so grateful for this platform art. You're doing well. I am grateful for all of you who are members of the community and makes the work. So incredibly rewarding. So I'm grateful for you so I'm happy to have you here to talk with us today about phobias. There are lots of questions. Typically in the community about all of the different ways that anxiety presents and we have not touched on phobias specifically some really happy to have you here to talk more about that is. This is what your specialty areas. Can you start by just telling us? What a phobia is and how it might be different than are like everyday worries and fears. Yeah this really happy to talk about this topic. Because actually before asset down to this interview one of the receptionist in my workspace she was talking about her phobia of dogs and how it has impacted her career so just to talk about phobias. It's a bag. Notable middle disorder is a type of anxiety disorder that causes an individual to experience extreme irrational fear about a situation living creature place or object. The person will experience intense distress. When they're faced with the source of their fall via is so funny that you mention the receptionist with the dog will be. I A pretty intense dog phobia. When I was younger. It could not be around and had never had a bad experience or anything with dogs until one of my friends during first jobs together. She had two dogs that I fell in love with and so that kind of cured. Me Of a phobia and now I have two dogs of my own. I'm glad you brought that up because I had that on my list of chat with you about because I think that that is one of the ones that we often see and that feels like people are very dismissive of it right like it's like. Oh this is just a dog. It's not GONNA do anything. Dog is not GONNA DO ANYTHING. You're right. People are very dismissive but it. This is a diagnosed mental disorder for people who have phobias it really impacts their lives. I have a phobia as well. So I say is four legged animals but particularly cats wear. I Will Avoi- places where I believe that there is a cat or see a cat in this very very common in the Black Community. Specifically related to animals. You mean just obvious. In general got it though they. They say they don't know exactly. How obvious are 'cause I mean. Sometimes we do have experiences where we are. You know maybe attacked by animal had a traumatic experience. I can water or something like that but a Lotta Times. The phobia is genetic in pass through Okay so it makes sense that if we've seen like parents or loved ones can be struggling with will be is that is something that we might struggle with as will buy because our parents sometimes will reinforce that phobia so if you have a parrot. That's afraid of dogs. For whatever reason you might hear or witness your your parent afraid and therefore you take on that. Fear Yourself Got It okay. So are there things that you feel like are commonly misunderstood about phobia? So we've already touched a little bit about how people will sometimes we'll minimize like. Oh that's not a big deal but are there other things that are commonly misunderstood understanding the difference between a normal fear and phobia? We all have ears in some anxieties. What a phobia is when we actually rearrange our lives to avoid that phobia so for example you know we all may feel a little nervous anxious overflying especially if the weather is bad at their term limits you know our stomachs may drop in. May Be uncomfortable but a phobia person who fear flying phobia. Flying wouldn't go to their best friends wedding on an island because they're afraid to fly there so that is the difference in that people. I think you know having a phobia myself people not understanding that we don't WanNa be afraid and we don't own avoid these situations but the fear in our minds out ways the benefit of going to the wedding or going to someone's house with a cat or swimming in the ocean right And I think that that's a great example. Ray because I think if you don't show go with a phobia or you know if you're not really kind of up on like what it means to have a phobia you don't understand how this can impact someone's life so a decision about whether. I'm going to travel to a friend's wedding but I would imagine that even more everyday occurrences may be impacted because of phobias. Can you talk more about? Maybe some of those things that people might not even recognize that they're doing because a phobia is well. One thing is job opportunity so does using a dog example. We've had gift my husband with the Palatine by for Christmas. And they come in and they set that up one of the women who said enough the bike before she entered the home as if they were any pet and of course. We don't have any s a socio constable and I thought about her later. What does she do you know she? She described her dogs. And all of that and I thought about what? What does she do what she goes to? Someone's home and that have. Some people are very protective of their pets. Feel their pets are part of the household and do not want to put them up and so what happens to her in her job. Opportunity you know. Does she quit does she? Avoid one work day or if you you know keep an on employment You know what if you have a fear of elevators height and your offer the opportunity in a building you know in the offices on the floor and sometimes people will avoid not take the job so it really impacts people every day on big decisions such as their jobs. Then you know I think about myself you know the fear. My daughter's school. There was a a cat little neighborhood. Cats that the kids were feeding an address Taking her to school because the cat in everyone will say that You know the castlerock on by the in I really had to. I had to stand across the street and ask someone else Walker in the building because I was terrified. Yes even everyday things like that like you mentioned that you just might not even think about but that takes so much of your like emotional energy and really I would imagine it also impact your mood for the rest of the right. Yes and just the thought of having to face this you know once I realized with the cat that okay. This cat is going to be around. And they're feeding the cat. Every morning I woke up with this dread of taking my daughter to school. Because I'm thinking about this cat you know Thing ABOUT PHOBIAS. That it overtakes our thoughts and we're constantly thinking about it and worrying about it and like you said you know expanding that emotional energy on something that really when we think about it is anything that we really shouldn't be afraid of I mean but of course that's the way that anxiety works right. Is that even though if you are not struggling with anxiety the threat me look like it's not an actual threat but in your mind he's very much like a real threat exactly. Yeah Yeah. And that's the part. I think that is often misunderstood. If you're somebody who has struggled with anxiety in one way or another it may feel like oh just go bring your daughter to school right like the kid is not going to bother you but in your mind it feels like a very real kind of a risk in a threat situation. Yes that's from. Our flight and fight response is that we feel. We'RE IN DANGER. And we will have physical symptoms when we are experiencing or exposed to that threat of the phone via you know we may feel our heart rate elevated may sweat we may you know. Have all types of physical symptoms because of it.

Star of Peloton commercial appears in new ad — this time for gin

"The actress who played who is who is now known as the peloton wife has resurfaced Curtis I saw the woman who started the now infamous how to commercial for palatine exercise bike is breaking her silence silence after its controversy has landed another gig with a gin company got the new ad prompted their Curtis I do yeah is really smooth we can get you another one you're safe here new beginnings a new beginning one nine you look great by the way you look great by the way okay the setting there is three women sitting in a bar sipping martinis and the eight the actress mockery Ruiz who played the faults of wife is in the middle her two friends it's a sort of seems like and is to be for like for matter women like something really bad happens somebody like art where to take you out we're gonna find where to forget about what happened SO three women sitting in a bar they each have a martini glass in front of him the mockery is the palatine wife actress is Serena middle and she just has this blank look on her face like what just happened to me she chugs a martini her for that's when you heard a friend go it's gonna be fun night and then slides her her own martinis for aviation Jan which is backed by a actor Ryan Reynolds summer calling it an act of genius in marketing I think it's pretty funny Curtis I think it's funny and you know that's that's Ryan Reynolds humor at its finest right that's a good point that's kinda his style that's smart he's been like that when he was in Deadpool yeah he always made references to pop culture and our thing and that just that just stands out as Ryan Reynolds idea right and I love how quickly it like you got a pot you got it all yeah capitalize with the capital I capitalize I'm it so the peloton transition of the stationary bike commercial the the woman the actress said it again it's like the most controversial thing in our country right now there are many controversial things in our country right now but everybody's got opinion of the peloton bike at so the woman who plays the wife and there is in this Jan commercials you sitting side by side is there in the middle of three women sitting in a bar he could tell the kindest went through traumatic experience they're not exactly sure how to process everything that happened in two thousand sells a perfectly you can tell like right when you like right when you said when her blank stare when she's looking at the camera when you first watch the commercial you can tell that like okay it's kind of like a follow up to the peloton add without virtually saying it was from the peloton at and then at the end you look great by the way you look great by the way that's poking at the at the argument that it's sexist whether it is or whether it's not whatever you that's great so that's really well done and it's good to because like it does it it doesn't need a major set up right because once you see her face like death I know that woman told wife now she's doing th aviation's in commercials for Ryan Ryan Reynolds I would love to see some follow up to this like down the road maybe she should yeah for she keeps getting used for like aviation Jan but like they still sort of subtly make like jabs at like palatine or you know whatever I guess a series of these yeah like do you guys want to ride our bikes to the bar or something like that guess what I go for a ride I don't know she gets like a flashback of something and flash back goes right back to where do the brainstorming form Curtis when I can pay for this that's funny all by the way I didn't think was sex commercial Paul Tana's my official had taken act Curtis were you offended by occurred and now I I wasn't at all was it got punched and by my thought was that like there are a lot of there are a lot of fit women who are into fitness sort of stuff you know I mean and who knows maybe she is a wife that's maybe go that are a lot of runs and she all right maybe I don't know she's in good shape in other ways I like yeah the at three one two texting in the peloton wife is stupid because ever crying in the camera face see it's got an angle on this I know well that that's what the first of my son what the hell is this is is is is supposed to be airing right now because it's shot like not is not shot like a like a cheap local commercially now I get shot kind of in a good way it's just the way they execute everything in the acting in the way it plays out well and I give props the peloton because they were the ones I said listen everybody's kind of misinterpreting the message of what are right where we just show us what okay everybody calm down yeah because people do people spends on it to fit their own narrative or something that they're upset like that's perfect I could fit that into my narrative that everybody
