Why Joe Kent Felt Called to Run for Congress in Washington State

"If you live in Washington support this man Joe can't for Congress dot com that's Joe can't for Congress dot com 20 years serving this nation also his wife Shannon paid the ultimate price in Syria killed by the ISIS jihadists explain to us for millions of listeners across the nation. Why you've decided to not just have the quiet life you've bled enough for this nation? Why are you serving it again as a civilian Joe? You know, really, that's what I intended to do after my late wife was killed by resigned from government service and wanted to just come back here to home to the Pacific Northwest to raise my kids. But the way that the last election was stolen the way that the left weaponized all the violence of 2020 using antifa and BLM, I realized that our country was at war. It was just a war back here at home, and everything that I've seen since Biden was installed has really pointed to the fact that we are almost under totalitarian control and seeing how Republicans will not fight most Republicans or the rhinos will not fight. These are the same people that Thornton president Trump for his entire four years that really led to my wife being left in Syria after Trump tried to get us out. These people will not defend us. So when my representative Jamie hurry about their voted for the impeachment of president Trump, I knew that it wasn't a matter of, hey, is this the best thing for me to do right now? It was a matter of I'm being called to serve again to go and fight because this isn't politics as normal. We are at war and we need to be going to war against the left and against the rhinos.

Joe Kent: From Army Special Forces to Congressional Candidate

"Joe Kent welcome to America first. Tell us your story first. We were going to discuss your epic decision to serve the nation again this time out of uniform, but tell us a little bit about your life history. What you decided to do at the age of 18 and what you've done in uniform for this nation. Absolutely so pretty much as far back as I can remember, I wanted to serve the country abroad, fighting our nation's wars. I came in just before 9 11. I was really inspired by the rangers in the 1993 Black Hawk down incident. So talking to the army recruiters and you got a ranger contract ready to high school, work my way into ranger regiment. I started my career there. And then my way into special forces. So green berets as most people know them. Actually, it was in special forces selection one 9 11 happens. So God done with the special forces qualifications course, immediately went to 5th special forces group and spent pretty much the next two decades at war. So winter combat 11 times for this country, greatest honor of my life. Retired the 20 year mark because I wanted to be able to stay in the fight operational retired on a Friday and then swore in as a paramilitary operations officer at the CIA on a Monday intended to make that my second career. I felt it was my nation's calling to serve this country overseas fighting war. But my time was cut short tragically because my late wife, Shannon Kent, who was also a special operator, a navy cryptologist and Arabic linguist who had joined the military right after 9 11. She was killed fighting ISIS in Syria in 2019. She was killed about a month after president Trump attempted to fulfill the will of the American people and get us out of our endless war. She was part of the final push to destroy the territory territorial caliphate. Once that happened, Trump attempted to get our troops out as he promised. And that's when the deep state essentially turned against him Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and a bunch of other unelected bureaucrats, committed bureaucratic slow role, went to the media, their end result was that my wife and the element that she was worth a special operator she was with ended up staying in Syria, a month later her and three other great Americans are tragically killed by suicide bomber and managed Syria. So I decided that that moment that I had to resign from putting myself in physical danger to take care of our two young children, move back here to the Pacific Northwest, had a little bit of an opportunity to meet president Trump and really tell him that his America first foreign policy was actually giving it right. I served under Clinton, I served under Bush served under Obama and we remained in this state of continuous war and without making any gains really just for the benefit of the military industrial complex until president Trump came on the scenes and gave us the authorities and then really the ability to go out and crush the enemy decisively, but not getting any

GOP Congressional Candidate Joe Kent Discusses the Immigration Crisis

"The immigration crisis at the southern border if you win this congressional seat listen yeah it's a seat where only people in the congressional district in Washington can vote for you Obviously But you're voting on national issues It's not a state Senate seat It's on a state seat It is a federal seat You're take on immigration What's going on at the border given that we learned last night from Bill meluan on Fox that the Biden administration is doing a de facto Amnesty Joe what they're doing is they're using parole and parole doesn't mean what it does in the criminal system It means like taking people in from a foreign country giving them a reason to be here They're doing it on a mass scale your thoughts on what's going on at the southern border and they factor Amnesty Yeah it's just insanity I mean the crisis on our border is going to affect every single American city So I'm here in Pacific Northwest geographically where far away from the border but we're essentially a border town because we're surrounded by a sanctuary city I got Portland to our south Seattle to our north I 5 quarter going up and down I talked to our local law enforcement We had a massive uptick in crime We recently had a sheriff's deputy killed doing a counter narcotics mission to protect community out here And that's all directly linked to the lack of a border wall And then the Joe Biden opening up our southern border So the woman I'm running against he's a Republican Jamie Herrera butler She voted to stop the construction of the southern border wall with the Democrats Over the first two years we had Republicans in the House and the Senate when Trump was in charge We had a mandate from the American people to build that wall into secure our border and to do what's right for our people We had Republicans like Jimmy her butler crossed the island betray us So we have to get the military down there I think finish the wall really even go after the cartel that's on the border to defend our borders And then we have to have a full immigration moratorium I mean really the massive amount of labor immigration that's going to come across the border is really an attack on the American

Climate Change Blamed for Havoc in Northeast US Floods

"The northeast still cleaning up all of the destruction caused by the remnants of hurricane ida last week at least fifty people died and while residents in some public health officials were surprised by the severe weather. Storms like this or what. Scientists have long warned about jeff brady from npr's climate team reports in bridgeport pennsylvania about one in the morning thursday vernon perry says the nearby river was rising and the fire department. Woke him up. They just were saying evacuate. Now get out the only chance you to go. Now get out run. There wasn't even time to move his car. It's flooded like others on this street a front loader hauls them to waiting trucks at the end of the muddy blocked. Brenda night is sitting under front step next to the sidewalk. Where a pipe. Gushes water into the street. It's being pumped up from her basement. The water came up to the first floor here and first floor. My rug was soaking wet in. There has whether she expected such a severe storm because of climate change. Not at all. This is a complete surprise. We had no idea of the magnitude of the damage. That was going to be called even new york governor. Kathy hokuto who talks about climate change fueling. More severe storms was surprised. We did not know that between eight fifty nine fifty pm that the heavens literally open up and bring niagara falls level water to the streets of new york. It's one thing to talk about the effects of climate change. It's another to experience them. Says burnet. woods blackie chief meteorologist with climate centro even. If you said to her there was going to be over three inches of rain in one hour if she's never seen that what does that mean. What does that look like. What does that look like on the ground. Same for the rest of us but we're getting more examples. There was superstorm. Sandy new york and new jersey nine years ago. The pacific northwest now understands what days of one hundred plus degree weather is like and across the country more people are experiencing wildfires and hazardous smoke.

Biden Nominates First Native American to Lead National Parks Service

"Park Service could be led by a native American. NPR's Nathan Rott reports. The Biden administration has nominated Charles Sam's a member of the Confederated Tribes of the U. Mattila Indian Reservation in the Pacific Northwest. The National Park Service hasn't had a full time director since the Obama administration. Biden's nomination of Charles Sam's who's worked on conservation issues for decades could soon change that. The nomination comes at a crucial time for the park service. Despite some recent injections of funding, the park system is running a massive deferred maintenance deficit. At the same time, it's struggling with overcrowding and some of its most popular parks. A rapidly changing climate and long standing criticism for a lack of diversity within its ranks. The nomination of Sam's is subject to Senate confirmation. Nathan

Tight Supply of Truckers Leaves a Few Gas Stations Dry

"Gas stations across america rely on truckers to deliver gasoline. Their work is dangerous. They're basically towing a bomb down. The freeway at tank could explode a crash. Don't you think about that when you're driving near one of them on the highway. Npr's camilo domino's ski reports. These jobs are critical and companies are having trouble filling them. Something unusual has been happening this year across the country colorado iowa the pacific northwest scattered. Gas stations have run out of gasoline. They weren't big shortages or long shortages but hit up in something so essential can be worrying not to mention odd. Why would there be a shortage. We available bound gasoline. That's brian milne. Who tracks refined fuels for the data analysis company in to find the answer. Look behind the wheel of a big silver tanker truck. This is a job that requires special training and a lot of qualified drivers left the industry when demand for gasoline dropped last year. There wasn't work for them now. Companies have been scrambling as demand roared.

Secure Our Future by Healing the Soil

"Arable land needs a drastic investment in farming practices that reintroduced carbon into the soil and help it retain that carbon for a long time. We call that regenerative agriculture. So how do we do that. Well this is a podcast about the future but to answer that question we i have to go back to the past. I come from an indigenous community and we've been in the same place for thousands of years like if you're in a place for very very very long time having a system that doesn't regenerate itself is not even an option a day. Romero brioni is director of native agriculture and food systems at the first nations development institute and a member of the co- chidi and kiowa nations indigenous. People have been using regenerative practices for thousands of years but now methods like no till farming and using cover crops to protect the soil from the sun are growing more popular so is planting diverse ecosystems together instead of using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We can't talk about regenerative agriculture. If we don't about the alteration of land ways we can't talk about regenerative systems if we don't talk about the destruction of the salmon who like spent generations and generations and generations of their nationhood building the fertility of the soil in places like california. So what do salmon have to do with soil. Well you've heard about. The salmon runs in the pacific northwest when salmon swim upstream to spawn. They carry inland all the nutrients from the fish and krill. The aided see when they die. Their bodies nourished the soil. America's redwoods rely on the salmon. It is just one example of the soil being an integral part of an entire

Summer Mystery: Glacier Ice Worms Rise Again in the Pacific Northwest

"We know about the ice worms but we don't know about the ice worms at least most of us don't so we don't appreciate what an exciting time of year this is for researchers like scott hoteling from washington state university. It's time when the weather gets warmer up. They come squirming toward the light from deep within the glaciers on mount rainier billions of tiny skinny wriggling black strings that live in glaciers but died when the temperature drops below freezing but somehow survived for a long time down in the ice or replace themselves constantly. We don't know much about their reproduction and seem to surface in summer to bask in the sun but may have another reason in general their reasons for doing anything are largely on known as mr hoteling told. Npr there are more mysteries than there are solved things with ice worms. So there's a lot to learn still and maybe now that we've heard about this eager ice warm reception. We'll all give them less of a lukewarm reception.

Western Heat Wave Virtually Impossible Without Climate Change, Researchers Say

"When we had our record heat a few days ago, I turned to our friend Cliff, Mass. University of Washington, professor of Atmospheric Science and Cliff told us that if global warming played any role, it was minimal because temperatures have gone up about one degree over 70 years. These were temperatures 40 45 degrees. Above normal. So if anything, climate change contributed to about one degree out of this record, heat will imagine my shock surprise and I When I saw the Seattle Times a couple days ago, and their headline read without climate change record Pacific Northwest Heat wave would have been near impossible, researchers say. So I don't know who to believe. Sound times or Cliff Mass. I doubt if the Times will come on with me. So I got Cliff Mass on to talk about this. Good afternoon, sir. Good afternoon. Okay, so the cell times is directly contradicts because two days Prior to their story on the cliff, Mass Weather blog. You asked if global warming was the cause of the great heat wave and you said Science says no. So here you're telling us no sometimes is telling us? Yes. What are we to make of all this? Well, you know, you've got to look for where The Seattle Times got this information. Basically, a group of people got together and put together very rapidly. This report over a few days. And it's basically a political report. And in fact, it gives all kinds of advice about global warming. But people must do. But if you read the report itself, which I didn't detail its base, it's essentially flawed. And in fact It's not even consistent internally. Um, the headline says, Oh, this thing could never have happened without global warming. Then you read inside the report you say they say, Well, it could have happened, but by by random chance it could have happened by natural processes.

Are You Ready for Hurricane or Fire Season?

"Well today. I wanted to talk a little bit about storm. Prep and we talk about this from time to time. But we're kinda getting into the season of it. Now we're watching a tropical storm hurricane. Come up the You know west coast of florida heading up that going to cruise up to east coast. We've got Wildfire season that is full swing out on the west coast and who knows what tornadoes and things happen across the central part of the us. We've got a lot of different storm's going think it's going to be an active summer sore. You ready for that now. Ready can mean a lot of different things. If you're in a area where you've got hurricane coming. Maybe you need to have that generator. She you can power up and if you're down for a week or two you've got power to to run that you've got enough fuel. You get generator. You keep that food fresh. Maybe even the house cool. If you've got a big enough one and the same goes out on the west coast you know rocky mountains west because with fire season you're gonna see a lot more power outages and rolling blackouts. You're going to see more of that. I mean hack we just about. We're running out of power out here just in the pacific northwest because we had a huge wave. Last week that he wave well that could have caused rolling blackouts. Had win with that. "Welcome to true mysteries of the pacific northwest stories of people places events often obscured by the mrs of time. I'm your host. Ken crumb did you know that. All of america skyjackings only one remains on solved. You know which one does name db cooper mean anything to you on november twenty four nineteen seventy-one a passenger using the name. Dan cooper hijack northwest orient airlines. Flight three oh five headed from portland oregon to seattle washington after threatening to blow up the plane with a bomb. Cooper demanded four parachutes and two hundred thousand dollars fearing the worst northwest airlines agreed. Once the ground seattle cooper let the other passengers and some of the flight crew off the plane and had the money imperatives brought on board. The plane refuel took off again. And at ten thousand feet. Cooper jumped from the back stairs the boeing seven twenty seven into the pacific northwest night. He was never seen again to this day. It's one of america's greatest unsolved robberies or skyjackings but thanks to a recent book. One of the most promising leads is actually fairly new. One kenneth peter christiansen a former northwest. Airlines employ was never really a former suspect in the dvd cooper case but now thanks to the book into the blast. By robert blevins kenny christianson has come to the forefront of possible suspects. This case has never been closed by the fbi. By the way. And says i would say i'm ninety percent to ninety five percent. Certain to christianson was d b cooper. He worked for the airline. He had a paratrooper training background. He had the opportunity. He had a lot of unexplained spending within a few months after the hijacking. He lent his best friend's sister. Five thousand dollars in cash to buy a house then. He used another sixteen thousand dollars to buy another house for himself. As far as i can tell blood and says ken. Christianson had one life before the hijacking and a completely different one afterwards. Okay when you look at the numbers you definitely start smelling something fishy. While working for northwest airlines. Christianson never earned more than five hundred and twelve dollars a month. That's a month which even in the early one thousand nine hundred seventy s didn't go far yet. Within a few months of the skyjackings he suddenly had a stash of cash to throw around. So why didn't the fbi take a harder work at christianson. As a suspect author blevins chalks the oversight up to three preconceptions. The fbi brought to the case. One christianson didn't match eyewitness descriptions of the sky jacker to he had no previous criminal history and three. Fb i didn't believe that the sky jacker had military training in his background. Now according to blevins the author the parachute the devi cooper actually with called a navy backpack six and it's a smaller parachute more of the military type. The sky jacker must've been a pretty tough guy. Blevins says according to blevins. Kenny went through paratrooper training. Where they started out with two hundred sixty two men and ended up with eighty. That actually finished the course and he was one of them. All of these factors have convinced author. Blevins that he's cracked a db cooper case. He says i think he jumped out of the back of that. Seven twenty-seven hit the ground popped off his parachute disconnected the harness and the container from it buried a silk part and put his briefcase in the money bag in the container for the parachute. Put it on his back and walked out of the forest. And that's the first half of this podcast on db cooper and what happened to him and what happened to two hundred thousand dollars. Be sure to listen. Wednesday for the second part or in the conclusion of what happened to db cooper in that two hundred thousand dollars. This is kick crumb. Thanks for.

I am about to recite involves a lot of details about my research because it is so unbelievable since I first began the podcast true Adventures of the Pacific Northwest more than two years ago. I've erred a little bit more than four hundred stories. They've ranged from Vampire sightings in Oregon to flying saucers in the school yard in Australia. I validated each story with research that involved police or FBI reports correspondence with first-hand Witnesses, and occasionally. I've talked with individuals that experience The Unbelievable event in the rare event that I consult the internet. I will locate three sources who do not know each other but have cooperated testimonial during the research process. I've been told to cease and desist by law enforcement. I've been hung up on and received emails telling me to log Call for the most part. The reasons have been that the individual or family member doesn't want to rehash details of what did them was a disturbing event. So I did a podcast was called. Where did Billy go and it is by far the most bizarre story. I have ever run across and that's why I'm giving you a lot of details of involve my research off because it is so unbelievable. I decided to relate the steps. I've taken in an effort to make sense of it all and in the end. No, I don't know if it did make sense. This is a story about eleven year old boy who vanished from just outside Tucson Arizona while performing in front of twenty two adult Witnesses. He was discovered 72 hours later wandering across a Civil War battlefield 1,500 miles distant in Southwestern Tennessee. The site was the Shiloh National military Park. He was discovered by a tourist taking a tour who had Dental School. A distant figures looking like a child more on this in a minute it all started when I was scouring some thirty-seven-year-old FBI files. I hadn't looked at in a long time hoping to find something intriguing when I noticed under the child abductions section the case involving a young boy, he'd been abducted in 1982 from his Arizona residence and located in southwestern Tennessee in a state park three days later. What caught my eyes at this wasn't marked as a kidnapping and there was no Ransom call involved the FBI were brought up and when the trial was discovered in another state I managed to get my hands on a heavily redacted police report anything. This old has been archived and is available on a special website. Have access to any way the report related how the victim and four other children were in a field performing jumps and bike trips on their Sting-Ray bicycle the report describes. "Welcome to kiss myths and mysteries nine, your host chrome today Montauk and disinformation. MONTOC is a census designated place that includes the Hallett with the same name in the town of East. Hampton and so county New York on the eastern end of the south shore of Long Island Montauk project is a conspiracy theory that alleges that there were a series of secret government projects conducted at Camp Hero Air Force Base Montauk supposedly has facilities that connect with another time dimension. And as a place where aliens are working shoulder to shoulder with humans, or they are perfecting psychological warfare, including the development of psychic spies, but if you do a little research will discover there there are hundreds of individuals worked in and around the base on any number of innocent projects, and that many of these workers had children that went to the Montauk school, and freely roamed the base. Some now adults confess that they wandered into many restricted areas for these individuals. There are no reports of aliens or time base corrector, said open doors to another dimension, but before we go any further, I'd like to define the word secret. A secret is something. This kept or meant to be kept unknown or unseen by others. Montauk does house a secret, but it's not Aliens Mind Mel time travel the many so called secrets that are connected with Montauk weren't discovered. They were leaked over the years. Government has found that they can distract create and to a degree control certain groups by leaking information that seemingly reveals a secret. Group applies pressure on the facility connected to the secret, the powers that be scrabble in such a way that these groups of individuals believed even more that they are on the brink of a great revelation. An example on the largest scale is the idea often put forth by the military. The UFO sightings are. Equipped balloons or experimental aircraft, these explanations are so flimsy that the ufologist is more than ever that there was a cover up, and indeed there is, but it's not what groups are led to believe is being covered up. How long she yet! The cover of the so-called leak of information is a distraction. Many years ago for a very short time I worked as a close up magician I thought it was easy to direct a small group to look one way say to my right while I was doing something to the left I directed with words, hand motions productions I use sleight of hand, Flash, paper, hollow coins, and often convinced. My audience at one thing was happening when something else was really happening, many times would let them think that they had discovered a slip or mistake. When almost nothing but a distraction believe it or not, it is even easier to redirect the attention of a large crowd. They're small group of people. The recent law enforcement separates witnesses of a crime for interrogation. Is that each witness? See something different when a group begins to track the leaks, the distraction becomes that much more ingrained. Look the air force's use of this tactic with ufo sides. I there was project, sign and then project grudge. Finally. Project Blue Book so back to Montauk. What is really going on there? The following his first-hand Information Montauk is a governments are of information, interestingly enough many instances of the strange unexplained are the distraction. Come what we may never know yet. There are many events that are so physical, impalpable that they can't be covered up and it is these events that are the Chink in the armor of the government's disinformation and distractions. Now if we could only differentiate between reality and deaths, information Montauk disinformation was produced here at night. All.

"Welcome to kiss Miss Mystery. Sign your host Kit Crumb. If you've been following along you know that. I've done a story on a character or individual call billy falstaff titled. Where bill ago and it was probably the most bizarre story that I have ever done on this podcast and it had attracted a lot of skeptical responses and some interesting responses and one in particular that I'm going to do today. That's almost as bizarre. If not more so than billy falstaff but first let me recount some of the facts about Billy falstaff in case you didn't follow that story case. So since my podcast about Billy falstaff who in nineteen eighty two age eleven vanished in front of twenty two adult witnesses and turned up fifteen hundred miles away wandering in the Shiloh. National Cemetery in Tennessee and who I finally tracked down as a drummer of the union's side during the civil war killed at the battle of Shiloh in eighteen sixty two I have been bombarded with two kinds of emails. Those were skeptical of the story. Despite the facts I provided and emails wanting me to investigate a vanishing based on personal knowledge one of the many emails wanting me to investigate a vanishing is this one. I am about to recount. There was one email that caught my attention. It came from the daughter of Karl as a Democratic senator from Arizona. It's important to note that Senator Hayes passed away at the age of ninety two in one thousand nine hundred seventy and that in nineteen forty to his only child. Patricia Hayes was born now seventy seven the absolutely unbelievable incident that she recounted occurred in nineteen sixty one when she was nineteen. Her father was a key figure throughout and made her promise not to mention any details of what she had witnessed to anyone until fifty years after his death. Some quick math assured me that indeed it had been fifty years since his passing the incident though. Incredible in itself is almost overshadowed by the length of government. Then President John F. Kennedy went through to cover it up and here's the incident. It was Saturday morning. June nineteen sixty one and Senator Hayes. Walking up the steps for his office in the Capitol building because it was Saturday he was bringing his nineteen year old daughter long and for the most part the steps and surrounding area with pretty much deserted halfway up the steps Senator Hayes was approached by asking for a handout. Something Pretty Rare in that area pat in the email said stranger was ten or twelve feet away and two steps below. She said she remembers her father producing a ten dollar bill. Remember that this is one thousand nine hundred sixty one and the homeless were less prolific in numbers. Anyway she said the man took two steps up and was on the same level as her father but still about ten feet away when he stepped forward closing the distance and reached out to take the ten dollar. Bill Gates vanished. Pat says her father looked around including up in the sky then took her hand and together. They ran the remainder of the steps. Hustled through the security locked the door once they were in his office. Her father explained that he was afraid of laser activity and she was driven to their home by a security officer. Pat explained in her initial email that although she was really spooked by the event on the Capitol steps. It didn't hit home until her father came home that evening and swore her and her mother to never speak of the event. She ended the first email asking. If I would be interested created a podcast around the event by response was a resounding yes but only if there was more than just the event that I need proof of the event and facts. Validated the proof. Her response was his. She could provide advance and places that determined that the vanishing did not result from a laser. But it would be up to me to validate does events and places probably through the freedom of Information Act. Her next response came in a letter. It was short. Look up the TRC and get back to me with what you found out. I've mentioned previous podcasts. That I get some of my research. Facts from the freedom of information or the F. A. And that usually. I was fishing for something specific reference to something but in this case I requested information specifically on the S. T. R. C. Forty one days later. I received a two page response as usual much of the contests redacted or blacked out this case. I could tell that names had blocked out what remained was at the S. T. R. C. Stood for Space Time Research Center. The center location was blacked out the day. L. This funding and defunding and closure was nine thousand nine hundred ninety two research on space and time was enforced by the president. Though I know it was Kennedy by the date is name of dotted in one thousand nine hundred sixty eight. The funding ran out and was reappropriated by Congress at the request of the A. E. C. A. E. C. is the Atomic Energy Commission which has been around since nineteen forty six. It was president. Truman that put the commission in private hands rather than keep his operation regulated by the government some earlier research on another story revealed at the ABC had ties to area fifty one but that aside the documents from the freedom of Information Act showed that the Space Time Research Center was under the umbrella of the T. S. Slash Se. I on top secret label. That was as need to know as it gets from all this I knew for sure was that S. T. or C. Did exist and that it conducted research into space and time and that it was all top secret but had lost its funding was close down in one thousand nine hundred ninety two. What I now wanted to know was what the S. T. R. C. Discovered if anything from the research so as promised I sent the result of my findings through the freedom of Information Act that indeed. The start was real. And I asked Patricia Hayes an letter for the next bit of information that would lead me to the conclusion reached by the TRC. I never heard back from Patricia. Hayes and here's a strange part. I found that there was no. Us Senator Carl Hayes Democrat from Arizona therefore no Patricia Hayes. The email who ever. She was whatever name she used. Got No response and when I called the number that showed up when we talk by phone it had been disconnected but someone wanted me to research the S. T. R. C. When I mailed the freedom of Information Act with a specific reference to the str see. I did get a response. Was the story. She told me about the man vanishing fabricated like her identity as simply a ruse to get to inquire into the existence of the Star S. T. R. Z. I don't know this story left me with more questions to be sure the Nassar's what was the purpose of the str see. And why did someone go to so much trouble to get me to query the freedom of Information Act? I'll be doing more research for sure and you can be sure that what I find out will result in another podcast on what I call the vanishing act well vanishing act was produced here night owl sound studio and brought to you by the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library. "Welcome to kids myths and mysteries. I'm your host kid chrome so far in my investigation of the paranormal metaphysical. I've covered a lot of territory today. I'm GONNA look poltergeists. Generally these are spirits that are thought to be playful ghosts. An example of a playful ghosts occurred here in. Ashland Oregon. When a psychologist from Palo Alto California purchased a home here and ask once belong to one of the founders of the town. She had just moved in. Who's eager to catch one of the Shakespeare performances? When she left she closed up her new house locking doors windows but when she returned all the windows and doors were unlocked during their next excursion into town. She left the windows open. The doors unlocked when she returned. Her house was locked up tight. I spoke with this very grounded woman. Who told me that she had tried locking certain windows and not others and whatever the case what was open was closed and what was locked was unlocked. Now could these be the antics of a playful. Go Swell perhaps. Let's take it to the next step when I was having my home. Build high appear in the southern cascades. I talked with my contractor several occasions about different issues involved in building a home during one of these conversations topic turn to the paranormal. He told me about fellow contract. Who's working on a house alone ahead of his crew. It was late fall. The days were cooling-off so he brought several torpedo type heaters and place them strategically around. The House plugged them into a generator. What were one at a time? They shut off until their warheads ceased and the house is quiet movie from heater to heater. He found that each one had been turned off thinking that maybe his crew was playing a trick on him. He went outside no vehicles report on the property and when he walked around the house there was no sign of his crude oil. He then topped off the generator with gas entered. The House and turned on all the heaters began finishing work on the room. When again the roar of the heaters stopped but this time when he checked switches they were all in the on position when he went outside. The generator wasn't running and when he checked the gas tank was empty again. Could these be antics of a playful spirit and one? Does that playfulness go? Too Far. Stephen Pell is a serious social climber to a succession of successful climbs. He decided that he was ready to take on the challenge of El Capitan located in Yosemite Park California. He spent the first week mapping out. His route made numerous trips to the base of the giant cliff. Face where he would began his ascent with each trip. He would bring food and equipment back at his base camp. He consult with other climbers in separate his equipment. Even more when the day was climb arrived he liked the base of El Capitan at first light mentally prepared for the Solo. Climb but when he arrived his equipment was tangled in a mess and scattered around the base and half his food was gone. Despite having been securely stored against bear and other critters discouraged but not defeated. He rescheduled the date for the climb. At least as long as to whether held and once again began the process of stocking the camp at the base of the cliff this time he arranged for a fellow climber to camp at the site also and remain in contact by radio for days. They stockpiled equipment and food on the last morning. Stephen received a frantic call. That much of the food had been taken apparently overnight and the equipment was tangled and strewn all over the campsite. Stephen took the second disturbance is an omen and pass on the climb on the face belt Capi Tan. Could this have been an example of a playful spirits? Antics getting out of hand again. We'll never know but one thing for sure during my interview this Wednesday on the twenty sixth of Psychic Medium Sharon Bauer. I'll be asking about poltergeist..

"This podcast cast by mentioning that I get some of the facts Roy stories through the freedom of Information Act no simple task. There's a lot of information now accessible missile to the general public the catch. Is that whatever. You're really searching or searching four must be phrased exactly for example. I was researching information on world. War Two submarines. So that's how I phrased it. After about forty days I got back a note. Say No information could be. He found So rephrased it German submarines and I got the same response but when I queried you one ninety six thanks. I got back home folder. Full that I couldn't find anywhere else on the Internet. Also keep in mind that much of the information available from the F. A.. A was classified decades sometimes even centuries ago and some reclassified because it contained data that Might Tarnish celebrity or president that said for this podcast. I needed information from the grant administration his first term in eighteen sixty nine regarding secret agents. I knew that the first full time secret agent service came about during the Teddy Roosevelt time both terms terms as president. He had two secret service agents with him at all times but somewhere in the back of my head I had stumbled onto information. That grant TAT Secret Service. This podcast was originally going to be about the origin. So the secret service what I got back from the freedom of information enact change the direction of this podcast in eighteen. Sixty nine. When you Lucy's asked grant was elected as the eighteenth president of the United States the civil the war was still a ragged nightmare? Grant was a war hero. I had always heard that. Although British favored the confederates that they decided to sit on the sidelines. And just to see who emerged victor in the civil war so I was surprised when I received my response from the F. A. that the British had supply both arms and gold to aid the confederates. The rationale was they were more interested in the textiles and tobacco coming from the southern states than anything. The Industrialized Union Union states had to offer. I was confused by this information. My request was on grant administration secret agents. The following information is what changed the direction of this podcast. It turns out that the union had any number of spies and spy rings. As General in chief grant was acutely aware that confederates were meeting and receiving gold from as far away as Pacific northwest. Today's Oregon coast one ship sighted in F. A.. report was coming from London it was HMS Warrenton that set sail L. in eighteen sixty five loaded with arms ammunition and gold. This is where secret agents during the grant administration came in from the first you of his first term as president grant created a branch of agents whose sole purpose was to track down British gold in response to this this information I sent a slew of letters to the freedom of Information Act request information on these agents and their success. Needless to say I I phrased and rephrase my request differently for each letter hoping to get one single response and I did one response. For Ten letters I eagerly tore open the oversized envelope defined four sheets of paper about eighty percent of which the content had been redacted or blacked out the pages. Were obvious photocopies of a ledger. Diary or log book. I couldn't tell because nothing was labeled what wasn't blacked out was hand. Dan Written in a flowery script..

I can't recommend seattle enough and while you're there you might right one visit that city's underground ghost town in eighteen eighty nine a fire raged through the fledgling city of seattle raising much of the wood buildings in the business district. The blaze was widely attributed to careless worker. Heating glue over a gas fire catching the furniture and floor on fire in a carpentry purpose shop founded on the logging industry. Most of the original city was built a wood and a little survived. The flames at destroyed thirty one blocks fox after the fire has city of seattle rebuilt itself to adjustments were made. I all buildings would be made of stone or brick and second. Could the entire city would be regraded two stories above what had been the old main street in the wake of the fire. The decision was made to raise the city streets out of the swampy grounds retaining walls were added alongside the streets and filled to make new roads shops and businesses fitted rebuild found the first and sometimes second stories of their buildings facing concrete walls. The new street level all was several feet above the second story. Eventually new sidewalks were added at st height and the underground largely was forgotten left the opium addicts prostitutes and gangsters under pioneer square or what at first appeared to be tunnels when actually they represent seattle all street level just after the eighteen eighty nine fire for months wallace erected walls city businesses produced ladders so the customers could climb over the walls to get to their business eventually many of the businesses simply close leaving furniture signs cash registers some glassware by the nineteen fifties seattle local bills beadle began a campaign to save the neglected pioneer square area largely on the strength the story of the underground city. He began giving guided tours to nineteen sixty five and his company continues to this day today.
