"Watch. Go follow David. Great guy, big fan. He's made glider 8 to one. He made favoritism toward the outside with Morello out in post 9 three to one. You have 7 O two for dean's list and Manny Franco and a four to one Rockefeller toward the outside Morello obviously has been very, very impressive in a couple of starts. First time stretching out to a mile, which aqueduct on the outer track is just the one turn, right? Boy, I hope I ride on that before. It's kind of funny that they still at this point are only running a mile. Prep. It feels like it should be longer, but I guess they didn't even run a mile 16th at aqueduct. I don't think they do. So maybe it's just kind of stuck that way. But Morello just been super impressive in those first couple of starts raided in both of them nicely set off. Kind of had, you know, nice in behind trips, but covered a lot of ground last time in the week feel was just much the best. And life is great, not life is good, but life is great, also in here with second that day. But I wanted to mention glider just because we saw this horse at Tampa and was beaten by Emanuel who, as I said earlier in the fountain of youth, I'm really high on, but this was the one we can wear, I thought Tampa's course was somewhat biased. It seemed like the rail was very dead. And horses would start making moves they jumped out of the rail and they'd stop making moves. And I saw a lot of that that weekend renter brothers and I remember talking about it during the car and it's just like, God, horses that look like they're going to rally up the rail and win are just kind of stopping. And glider was chasing inside and Emmanuel stayed out in the three path because I think Emmanuel's writer realized that I think it was Pablo Morales who was writing. Realized that you don't want to be down inside. And so the fact that this one stayed down there lost ground Emanuel late, but still ran pretty good. And interestingly enough, Antonio Gallardo was going to go up and ride for Mark Cassie. In this race, obviously, Antonio based down here at Tampa and I don't know, I'm really excited to see what this horse could do because I thought that was first of all, like I said, I'm banking that emmanuelle is very good. And so that also makes me kind of think that maybe glider is pretty good, but this is a this is a fun prep honestly for you. I feel like the New York prep sometimes feel like they're a little bit short. At least with interest from me just because the aqueduct so many of the top guys are down at Gulfstream. But with Rockefeller coming out here for baffert, Morello, who's been sensational, I mean, even horses like bull journey for Bill Mott, you know, second in the Gander after kind of opening up last time out. I mean, there's just a lot of interesting horses in this race and a lot of upside dean's list perfect two for two for pletcher down at Gulfstream. He's obviously got, you know, he's going to want to spread out his hand a little bit. Ray handel has from another mother too, who is a nice winner last time out against maidens, but handles on fire in aqueduct this meet. 14 for 63, 22%, go ray. I want to say we had rayon 2019. I think I was at Monmouth when we had him on. I mentioned earlier radio days who was coming out of that forward Gallup Gulf Stream, and she is showing up here in the busher, which also a one turn mile race, which the four were gal was as well. And she kind of just got away not great. There's no comment on it. She was just far back in a race where 7 furlongs they were going and honest clip, but the horse up front was just cruising. And she wasn't able to run that one down, but she took a serious run at her. I think this is actually a really good horse. In radio days. And she gets back to New York too. I mean, Gulf Stream is always a little bit peculiar, but she ran perfectly fine. She just didn't catch a loose on the lead horse. Dylan Davis went down there to ride that race. I think he's obviously very high on the horse. They spent a ton of money for radio days. And so it makes sense that the horse would be talented and obviously comes from very, very good connections. Venti Valentine, who was so good behind nest in that demoiselle stakes nest obviously came back to win at Tampa a couple of weeks ago in I should know the race I called the damn thing. What is it called? Holy crap. The sun coast. Boy, don't let my bosses hear that I forgot the name of the sun coast stakes. But validate that race. The sun goes in a top top field. Certainly I don't think some of the talent that venti Valentine would is going to see here. So I don't know how much you like move nest up off that wind. I thought it was very workman like. And we haven't seen venti Valentine. We're still in that phase where, for some of these horses, we're seeing them for the first time as three year olds. Sterling silver was one of the New York prince I was mentioning earlier on in the show as well. I mean, very humble beginnings of $13,000 purchase. One made in special weight state bread and then $100,000 the Franklin square for Trevor McCarthy and Trevor and time albertrani, going to try their luck in the bush here against the open company here. So that is just a quick little preview of so much that's going on. Like I said, we had to skip around a little bit because there's just, there's just too much. I didn't have a chance to look at all of it to be Frank. And we'll certainly try our best to recap as much of it as we can on Monday. That will most likely drip into Tuesday, but big weekends. This is such a great time of the year for, you know, all the Derby lead up oaks lead up like that stuff's all fun, but what comes along with those is good cards and good racing and fountain of youth. I was thinking back my favorite fountain of youth is 2004, the saint Valentine's Day massacre, it was dubbed, which is probably a little bit of an extreme name for a horse race. But it was on Valentine's Day and read the footnotes and 2nd of June, man. They hooked up real early, not early, but early in the drive and they just went ahead and had the whole way down the lane and it was real memorable stretch call. There used to be video of it on YouTube and I looked around and the old video that used to be up there was no longer up there and so you can't seem to. You can't seem to find it so if you can find it out there if you know where to watch the 2004 found of youth watch it because it is a awesome race. But real big thank you to you guys for tuning in this week as always you guys are just the best so appreciate you guys listening to our show. Big thanks to Darren Rogers yesterday Danny Gibson who joined us back on Tuesday. We will have some new guests next week, maybe old guests. I haven't done any booking yet..

"On this final day of January, the 31st, as we wrap up the first month of 2021, happy to be with you guys here and looking forward to recapping what was a pretty busy weekend, obviously Pegasus World Cup the big headliner event at a Gulfstream park. We'll talk a lot of Pegasus. Talk a little southwest steaks over at Oakland park. Might even talk a little Sam Houston. Ladies classic, Pauline's pearl. Winning that one day, then a thrilling, thrilling addition of the John Connolly. We'll talk about all of that. NHC is still going as I get, you know, as I wrap up here. So we won't really talk about that. I'm going to try to get somebody from NHC on for Wednesday's show. That's my plan. You know, I know the big shows. Big guys pick four until they get the winners. I usually go for like a top ten guy. I know I can get on. And then we have the winners on. Excuse me. We have the winners on usually like 5 months from now. Sometime in the summer. In there when they're done doing the press tour. But looking forward to a talking submit HC this week, Nancy holt is going to join us tomorrow. Of course, analyst at Oakland park. We'll talk about the southwest. Talk about the king cotton. We'll talk about Oklahoma park in general with Nancy looking forward to always like to catch up with her. I feel like I talked to Nancy usually once a year usually during Oakland. I got to meet Nancy for the first time last summer at Indiana grant. On Indiana Derby day, so look forward to that conversation with her coming up tomorrow as he said, well, we'll shoot for someone from NHC. I know who I want to invite. But I have to do that first. So we'll get to that. But always like giving an HC some coverage and talking about what is usually a fun event out in Las Vegas, Nevada. And we've had one of our racist was a mandatory. That was kind of fun, because I remember being there, like you always get excited for the mandatory of the rooms of buzz, everybody screaming. And we had kind of an exciting race for that race, which was fun. We had a Tampa, we had a really nice three year old run on Sunday. If you get a chance, go to our Tampa YouTube page, first of all, subscribe. And check out the 6th race from Sunday. Emmanuel was the horse's name. He was a debut winner at Gulfstream, he kind of went wire to wire. He went wire to wire this time, was doing it so easy. I think that the rail rent carruthers are tracking any capper texted me pretty early in the car. I think the second or third race and she said, you know, after yesterday in these first couple today, I think the rail is not the place to be. There was a first time starter in the first race who was coming up the inside and looked like it was going to had serious momentum like it was going to pass the early leader and just kind of flattened out and then a couple more dirt races. There was one where a horse was the first time starter was rallied was up the inside kind of lined up three across the track, faded back two lengths back maybe or so, and I even said the move stalled out, you know? And then kick to the outside and it was like, oh, new horse. Now they were slowing down up front too, but it just seemed that in general, the inside was not the place to be. So Manuel stayed out like the two or three path. The horse who was second glider, I thought made a nice move up the inside. Against, you know, I don't want to say bias, but I don't think that was the best part of the track to be on based on the flow of a lot of the races. And I think gliders one to watch back. Emmanuel, it's so funny. I used to always say when I was a younger pop. I would say, you know, I can't really tell that big of a difference between the good horses and the claimers. Like to me, it just looks like a horse race. And as I've gotten older, I've obviously gotten better about differentiating between top class and not so top class. And having to having the privilege to call some good horses in recent years, you really can tell that little bit of difference, at least from up above in the race calling stand, the way they travel, especially late in a race. And this was a horse who the last 16th, I mean, just looked like he was so strong and you know this was a mile and 40 yard race. It was only a second career start Pablo Morales talked about. He said, you know, that was like being on a Cadillac. And what they do next with him Manuel, I don't know. He'll likely go to a race like the Tampa Bay Derby, or he's nominated to the Sam Davis, but that's only two it's 13 days. So I would guess they'll go for a 50 point race, either Tampa or maybe the fountain of youth, Dan at Gulfstream park, but I want to keep an eye on. If you're looking for a Derby types. Because he was he was something to watch down the lane. Trying to remember who's the horse at Gulfstream west, I got to call a horse. He ended up winning, it was Bodhi something. He's the horse who threw the jockey in the Preakness. I'm gonna do a quick Google here. I can't believe I forget his name. Bode express. I called him winning at Gulfstream park west and that was one of those ones where I was like down the lane just like, man, this horse looks so good. And it was like an allowance race..

"So I wanted to do it here and I needed 5 wins and then it was only 5 minutes. There was only four racing days left. And I was like, wow. And you know, in horse race, you can never predict if you're going to win. I mean, I had some decent shots, but you could run a lot of seconds and you know when them last two come around. They're the hardest. So I was really really lucky and blessed the way it worked out. No, it was brilliant. I got a dead heat, I think one night at one another one by nose and it was coming down close. Watch and you ride over the years, even coming down to the 7000 with all that on the line. You still never overrode the horses. And I just thought that was such a credit to your style. Is that something you fight or is just that natural that you'd ask pat day the same question? You never overruled those? Yes, because yes, that was kind of been my style of my career, you know, just like when you overriding them, you kind of like almost thrown them off stride. I mean, you're getting down to riding your strong pushing along, but you don't want to do override because it's just not going to little rhythm here and there, you know, and sometimes that when it's getting down to the wire there, that little movement can cause you when sometimes. So you just got to keep that rhythm going and the horse will kind of get competitive too. Yeah, that's been my style. My life will never kind of overwritten the horse and give me sometimes I had to get down and ride harder than others. And then there's times where I don't ride as hard because the horse is just not giving me all you can and it's almost like you're nursing into the wired. It's the feeling you feel that last 70 yards, which you got to do to get to the wire first. First and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Sure, exactly. You've done it better than most. What was the feeling like when you won the 7000? I know it's a favorite enjoy the music you got in front. You got to open up a big lead. Did you actually get time to enjoy it down the stretch or what was that like take us to that moment? Yes, Sean, like it was really I'll give you the whole description of the race that kind of like looked like and he looked like best source in the race and it was for a friend of mine to have been right for the last ten years for over here. And I just didn't want nothing to go wrong because I knew when I won the second race by nos and it was on his horse and I would love to stand on his horse and the race set up really perfect for me and I kind of like what I've come to the front end or I kind of peeked on the arm once dried because I said, I didn't want to move too soon. Right, sure. But I wanted to get by the lead horse because lead horse had a little horse too. So I wanted to kind of get up on top of them a little bit and once I put them away, I kind of once I knew I'd had them, I'd kind of peed back and make sure nobody was making a run on me too, but when it turned for home, I just said, well, now let's just go, you know what I mean? And he responded, but the last 20 yards he started waiting in a little panicking yard. And we lasted, it was a great feeling when I hit that finish line. It was like a big relief for sure. No doubt. And I think Pablo Morales might he kind of gapped up your inside and just I think he did. That blue bottom you have to why are you guys congratulations on some business job and out? Good little good little jockey and nice nice boy. All right, for sure. Yeah, what's that relationship like up there? I mean, you've been doing it a long time but those guys are your 60 years old and you can see the respect and admiration they have for you by the celebration in the winter circle. I guess that must feel must be a great feeling for you. Yeah, it really is. Is there some good guys here and like you said I've been here for the last ten 11 years and bribe with them in good bunch of riders. I mean, we have a good camaraderie here. And most of them are all of them are younger than me, but I'm in the same quarter with Pablo and another young guy another. Two. Well, how many of these two probably is one of them? Let me see. So we all good and I respect them because what they're doing to do good little riders and I think they respect me too. And I had to laugh on the interview you after the race, they asked if you were right. If you're going to ride the next race and you said, yes. And then you kind of made a comment. Like, I don't know about tomorrow, which would be Thursday night. And I said to myself, that wait a minute. Mario Pinot, the working man's Jackie, he's not going to take off the last night. Commitments, right? So you decided to ride 30 night? Yes, exactly. So I was thinking about it because it's going to be a rough night to night here with the rainy and cold. And I'm on like 7 or 8 of them. And I'm like, man do I want to go through this? I'm going to go because I don't want to die for some of these people. If the meat and then they've been good to me, so I don't want to just jump off, so I'm going to finish tonight and to be in my.

"I was telling a friend that i said you. Just don't see that like you'll see where horses go by top the stretch midstretch and somebody comes back. It's so rare to see a horse not only go by could go by with pretty good momentum. Who's a great one winning caliber horrors and then in the last fifty yards maybe lose all that momentum and buying control combat. It was strange immediately afterwards. You know i went right to the social. Media's oh god what are people saying about this and the early sentiments seemed to all be that ricardo santana stop writing that he gave up. He cost the horse the race I saw david air go to chime in with something. More to the effect of ricardo. Santana didn't do anything wrong. The horse started to pull himself up. You know. I don't get why people are saying that. Let's see let me get david's exact quote i understand. People saying santana misjudged the wire will. He didn't misjudge the wire That clue was what happened but he said the horse just turned his ear forward like he thought he was done. how can i forget replied graph. Everybody roasted of how can i forget. It's always the writers fault when a horse loses by knows carry on and it seemed like after that common a fair number of people started to not come to ricardo's rescue but just seem to say yeah horse pulled up. i think i saw check simon. Say something. well that's what you get with silver state. I'm like silver wind like six races in a row. Chuck may maybe. He's got a little a little hanging in his game but like you know it's not like he doesn't know worth is there are there there was the essex i think he made the leading idled a little bit but for the most part like he's extent like he extended his lead in the met mile for midstretch to the wire he obviously made up ground to win the oaklawn. But he's kind of a horse that but no i. I just don't agree with that sentiment. But and i love chuck checked him. We can disagree on stuff but you know it was what it was i. I watched it a couple times. And i just to me. It just looks. Like i don't know that ricardo gave up. I just thought i was talking to chris griffin after the racist and i said that horse in that situation i feel like that horse just wins that race ninety nine times out of one hundred. You just don't see that happen that late in the game you know because chris had made it you started to go into the we're kind of processing the call. Because he had said let there be no doubt or silver state leaves no doubt right when he said no doubt the other horse game started to come back and i told them i go. I've called a racist like that a thousand times nor is never comes back so i said you just said silver state. Screw you chris. He didn't he's obviously made a lot of very upset. But i said that was an attack on you because like i said all i care about the race call but i hope you guys know that was blatant sarcasm. Sometimes people don't get my sense of humor. I've had people like message me before they were. Did you say you couldn't tell that. I was laying it on a little thick there. How do you get the rest of the show. How do you get like my twitter account. I'll i'll post like blatantly sarcastic stuff and people will answer it as though it was serious and i'm just like how do you follow me if you don't get that i was kidding around there but anyways but it was. It was a peculiar race. And whether it was ricardo's fault whether the horse pulled himself up whether mind controls just the game is source in the history of the world. A big win for my obviously. It's it's listed stakes. It's not a graded stakes. But you know. He's one that i kind of gave up on and i think he's he's kind of proven to you know he's had a little bit of a comeback year. He won the neighborhood which is great to iran. Very well in the carter back in april. You know it's just been a good year from. I think he's made like four hundred thousand nine quite four hundred but three change. It's pretty good pretty good year for horse. I thought i. I'm i'm probably a little too quick on the trigger to think horses are done at the top level my worst opinion of the day even though i still think it was a good opinion. Just didn't play out the way i thought it was was chubb wagon Total go against for me. A short price ended up going off at even money. But kinda got up. Perfectly cozy trip under joe. Martinez sat right to the outside of the early leader Precious pounced on that one opened up and then was able to hold on Certainly you know. This was the mildest sixteenth. I certainly don't think she wants to go. Mile an eighth and go to the distaff or anything like that but You know to me super short prices on horses trying significantly different or difficult. Things is just not a long term winning proposition. So i stand by the opinion even though it was wrong. chip wagon was decent. Go their But again you know for the the results oriented type. They're gonna say oh you your you're and that's fine. They can think whatever they want. I'm just trying to give you a clue into the process of thought and and also the process of thought after the race. 'cause like i said it was wrong. And what did i miss out on. Missed out on a two or four dollars. Twenty cent winner. There's worse things to miss out on but nice performance. I mean it's such a cool horse right so easy to root for state bread type runners like that pennsylvania brad and just a very very nice effort but big data parks in lots of excitement and And buzz there was there was parks. Buzz on saturday Belmont park will dip in their real quickly a couple of big favorites one very easily. So there's not too much talk about the athena stakes pocket square Rallied from off the pace to score very easily. I think it was Johnny brielle set the call. It was chad. Brown's one hundred graded stakes at belmont to milestone and the kelso life is good Just pounded two rivals. Basically 'cause chant Pulled up out of the race. They said that it was the same injury or same spot that injured himself I think in the tampa bay derby so You know that was a long-term drag to think that his racing career probably over After the injuring that again but life is good continued his march to wherever he's gonna end up next. I don't know he's a sprint. British kept sprint horse at dirt mile horse. I'm sure he'd be a good town in both. Maybe they maybe they try longer. I don't think so but Yeah big performance as expected like i said you know. I don't know what you learn when one nine shot wins like a one. Nine shot should teach learned that the horses. You know if anything's still holding decent form i guess. That's what we learn. I'll go to churchill downs. The bourbon trail stakes. This was i. Should i earlier. I said that chubb wagon was was maybe my worst opinion on the day in terms of result king fury was way worse. He was one to two. And i just didn't see it man. I just thought this horse was over hype. I know he wasn't facing a lot in the bourbon trail. So maybe i'm still write about the top horses but he won by thirteen lands. I mean every every inch that he poured it on down. Because on the turn i own. Now he's running good. This is going to be painful. Stretch and then sure enough every stride. He was pulling further away. And i'm like all right all right brian. You can go ahead and wrap up on this horse. Don't make me look too bad. Brian and just kept running. Away was awesome performance for king. Fury kenneth mcpeek sources seem to be pretty good right now at churchill in king fury victorious in the bourbon trail. The dogwood stakes carry caper now. Five for five. This was a big win. I kinda said that you know. This horse is touted. Obviously it'd just kind of one of those under the radar undefeated types but now under the radar not so much. Great three winner Undefeated five for five. And this. I thought visually was the most impressive Of the efforts just a real real. Wow effort. I thought to me one of the more interesting races on the day. Churchill was the heritz creek and it ended up being everett song. Coming over from pimlico for dale bennett. Pablo morales the race. Fell apart. a little bit they. They want pretty quick for seven furlongs on the main track. Twenty one and four forty four and three and the horses are one-two-three early all finished fifth eighth and tenth The horses who were seventh ninth tenth early finished one two and three everett song.

"This was this was one of those situations where you know the public the public kinda hears about you know the the circumstances and you know bobby flay buying in and knowing that the that car vowel was was going to be moved to graham motion. Let me talk a little bit about you. Know how you know what the public should understand about a circumstance like this. Yeah i mean. I think the public should understand that. I am fully on board with the decision and knew that that was the circumstance. When i agreed to the transaction and everything I had a lot of a whole lot of different offers and options. And this was the one that i chose well and you know for those that that only know bits and pieces of this. This is a philly that that you bread mizzen mast Out of the congrats mayor z. Z. zome and You know right from the get go. I mean she she. Her talent was obvious. Yes shoes pretty spectacular right from her first start. I mean we we were. We thought very very highly ever going into i start and then when she broke he was caught off guard and broke so slow and then she started dropping back even farther going down. The backside and i kept watching thinking teeth. How could i be this wrong about a horse. And then it all changed that she came flying and the funny thing is that that you know since then essentially she you know her running style has been in a very clearly established and she she likes to sort of get in behind leaders and and stock and and she's also she's also virtually wired Go back to that. Malvern rose at press kyle last fall and and she pretty much wired that but other other than that they view she's been in the race slow the rest of the time. I hope you get up there but enjoy yourself and everybody take a break and get ready for the second half exactly. That's exactly the plan hammer. I appreciate it. Thanks for a great six months and we'll look forward to a big summer ahead away. They go everybody on your twitter machine. Rick hammersley and lots of planning already in place for kentucky downs. Not that far off for hammer. And he'll be he'll be motoring east We've got about five six minutes left to close out the first half of the year and pablo morales. We've had have haven't been able to catch up the papal the last couple of weeks so great the finish the first half with him pop. Oh good morning. Good morning feed had a couple of a couple of good Form to win ideas actually a canterbury and it was certainly helpful to have it as a reference at of at a venue where not everybody's familiar and I thought it was. I thought it was alright. Are the north the the The price play was was that king of miami to win had rank. You know second. So that was you know. Some of the other parts of the sequence. Were you know favorites. But the king of miami that definitely find some things off and wasn't that you know just filter and press the button and he was ranked second so he was definitely usable. Let's spend the last three or four minutes here. The looking at tomorrow sequence at churchill and the foster the feature where max field is going to be a very heavy and i gotta go back to my. I'm gonna. I'm gonna have to reboot it because Brought it up about twenty minutes ago half an hour ago and it's been sitting idle so i got a reboots. I'll let you lead in and pick some spots At churchill tomorrow. I mean just speaking with with immigration stephen foster i mean max killed was on the top horse on for him to win interesting chess. Cheap is ranked second and he's a little bit of probably twelve the one and then overdose was was third. Just you just never know kind of what. You're going to get with silver dusty. Tie throwing. It seems sometimes had some gator shoes and sometimes you just doesn't cooperate. Those are the top three plays on On formed a win for the foster. Just backing up on the wise dan I'm only going to go to comment and field pass They were both qualifiers. Meaning average equity feet figure and their average formed a win for both in the top three. So i'll try to squeak by Just with those two and then you know the the two year old race is i'm not gonna go into a lotta with limited data set but i will say backing up into the The war which seven you know obviously starring in my dreams and helium. first time turf So you know use those as you want on pedigree the The interesting horse here seat is l. Kabong act i love how was ranked number one on on one way and it was you know it was royal prince and next with the top three choices Maybe maybe some prices in the mix there i. I like a forward going horse like that. And if the algorithm is already identifying alka buying as a major player that's very encouraging it's a. it's a great sequence tomorrow night at a churchill as it always is on definitely looking forward to playing along and then just to go over the nightcap the tap and sake you finish it off going. You know mile on the grass Nothing too interesting here. I mean toby hard invisible. How the horse. It was interesting from underneath standpoint. What is spoken to win identified with bullseye beauty who's Fifteen the one on the morning line. So maybe in the knicks underneath if you're playing the Verticals i'm also Pulling up since. I knew you were already on on the mark For churchill. i pulling up. This'll down and i was curious to see what we've got when it comes to that ohio derby with the the big bulky field and by the way speaking of You just mentioned the tappan. I do see our friend One of our friends on twitter responding About malloy and i Saying that he did think necessarily that that she was gonna run in the nightcap. Which i would be very disappointed so i just reached out to wayne catalano and For confirmation from from ueno whether she's whether she's actually going to go forward This What's interesting you pulling up this down for. Better pulled up steve giving us Alternate Ideas that filter looking at you know races between them on sixteenth in a mile and in a decent data set there with five and four starts for us forces and they've got it ranked keep in mind masquerade and helo hot bride.

tomorrow night Rick hammersley six months Pablo second half Fifteen five two third malloy One twelve twitter four minutes both second tomorrow papal two year old first half

And you know try to get created and not use fletcher's horse now with that but She ran like she could be something and she. I mean she didn't look green Coming down the line and she's still just kind of talent away so she's definitely notes contender. But you know the solid racing. That's all we can really ask for. "Going to have to utilize your your old fashioned understanding. But what does it say about this maiden ten ninth one's going so i will adjust it or only six and sixty six and a half all dirt. Average akwa bay. I would like to score and will sting. The eleven denied is kind of interesting and then on the form to win. Title the number four hundred. He's doing qualifiers. So that means that he's in the top three. On average speed figuring also average formed a wind speed. So i think he's he's a must of course he's the favorite The eleven offer some value. And then is baiting claiming i will look at all their speed figures and give you the last one and i think the sevens interesting because he ran six last time out should be three horses. "Late. This looks like a race on paper. That's going to be rented a pretty strong early pace and that's going to help a horse like secure connection. Who probably will be every bit of twenty two one or so even with the the popular connection? I thought that if yet sue on the inside ran well in the Swedish chant there's turf pedigree really all over the damn side there and so it's no surprise that took nicely to the grass. I think the blinkers going on. Make her hopefully. We'll make her a little bit more. Forwardly placed saving ground on the turf at Tampa is very very important. So she's definitely going to be able to do that. And then if you like hurry obviously you have to like Michelin. Who didn't draw all that great? But the mile and a sixteenth from the outside with Jockey on board that that seems to have a real knack for getting horses down to the inside. I think we'll We'll certainly make the difference so I'm GONNA use the one three and twelve. I'll probably use the six thousand as well outbursts kind. Of course that runs big off of a layoff and and the first time in America for me that I generally try and fade the next time out. I feel like they don't generally duplicate those performances but Clearly this is a horse that you WANNA use backup. Because her her North American debut was just much good for you to be being buyer. Well and I brought up with Marty the merits of MIRA. Bel Mel may who I think you gotTA consider. I mean there's there's plenty of pace in here and Pablo Morales is going to get a ground saving trip. And for those that are GONNA say oh well. Centeno sided with the delacour except that Terranova has got something going. It seems with with Morales Because they're clicking at forty percent yet no doubt I mean this is another horse independent super contentious race.

"Tuesday rice fans Sirius Xm one sports zone nine sixty four listening to me accent online and at our website saying nine sixty four reminds me somebody asked yesterday on twitter and I didn't get back they he asked about the the number and I got to answer that question nine sixty four I I think continues to be until you're otherwise I better at our website I said that the dot com coming back after a very full Monday and could have easily filled out a lot more and then when you get done all kinds of things happen news wise and so forth so we'll continue to dig into the results from the weekend got actually got an interesting set between Andy Stirling John White and Jeremy Plunk we can actually get all three major circuits fully fully digested and there are there are a couple of things that still have to still have to figure out there there's plenty to talk Eddie about including including the curiosities surrounding the flower bowl and the presence of of the quote Unquote Rabbit For Sister Charlie you don't really sense that she she needs a pacesetter anymore per se the way she accelerates and but I bet one ask about that in fact the whole pace that whole odd pacer situation whatever you get whenever you get one of those horse out winging on the front end it it can throw things off because you did have earlier on the card you have the other mile and a quarter race where red right hand stopped the clock in to a one latte and since two Charlie goes to oh two one the figs the way they came back into took it took the team buyer little extra time to digest the the two turf races because the the sister Charlie number came up quite a bit later yesterday after the after the Sunday Sunday races had been analyzed and it's obviously pace adjusted figure she got a ninety five red right hand in ninety three so they had to have to kind of break that race out I'll leading the riff on that and get impressions from him about the present winter campaign winter and so much more we're actually going to just look at the looking at the visitor roster and between Jeremy what will certainly do at the end of the show with Jeremy will set up tomorrow's Jesmyn card and plenty of other good races in support of the last Breeders Cup win and you're in and this is the two year old fillies the counterparts to the Bourbon and it's a it's a big bulky well-matched field so we'll do a little little keeneland Wednesday look later with Jeremy and we've also got bill down it's it is one of the Tuesdays of the month so bill downs comes in from Indiana they've got they've got a pair stakes today actually and there's actually a lot of mid week stakes action to glance at today in Indiana grant the the crown ambassador and Indiana stallion actually another good another good pick for at at Indiana today not very good multi race sequence is a maiden special that goes open company goes as the sixth race and then after the steak there's also a twenty five the two big fields really nice guard today at Indiana Grant Park has gotta stay today right who knew the Parks Fall Derby they had the they had the spring fling right there in fact I was going through a bunch of charts I've been up whatever reason I've been up since twelve thirty woke up at twelve thirty and never went back to bed and I actually a quite a bit done in this hodgepodge mess of an office and cleared out a whole bunch of unnecessary paperwork but in the process it's fun to go through those charts and you find things that either forgotten about or you find maiden witters I just saved and save way more than I should I suppose but I did come across that other Derby that they ran this is the fall derby it's a mile turf and they've got a nice field and I you know we we had rain literally I don't know I'm going to guess it rained eighteen hours here yesterday and we'll have to see about about Philadelphia because this is not a turf course that that holds up well and there's an interesting participant potentially in here Eh one Carlos Guerrero came back with spun to run who despite getting only beaten a length and change by math whiz heard and Mr Money and and war of will and so improbable in the park in the Pennsylvania Derby I thought he had a little bit of a shot it coming out of that Smarty Jones win and Guerrero entered him here and a didn't name a writer so even though he's not an MTO and there are MTO's entered comp compounded is an MTO for where he Duarte and George Navarra Carlos L. an import from Panama last out romp when last seen in the spring and in fact Zada very good three year old campaign in Panama Carlos L. A. Hold me back go out of a Louis Michel mayor but yet he's an MTO and we'll see about spun to run but English be is in here how about Graham Ocean sneak in the Virginia Derby winner in for this spot you've got to figure out what grams up to D- a nice little field didn't get a huge get I think it's seven if it's as on the grass interesting Jerry O'Dwyer clear vision for Cheyenne Artie Artie Schiller coal that wanted I asking ran okay at Kentucky downs when stretching out broke the made in that it is an interesting little horse the source may have some sneaky upside down to one Sheldon Russell lasix I the time clear vision so parks today Indiana grand today with stakes tomorrow the gentleman and they've also got the state we're going to talk about with the Dick Dick Powell at this hour because the Fitz Dixon that's a well-matched field that didn't look like there was any standouts in their press kyle tomorrow as their season they can they can see the finish line the fit sticks and goes tomorrow is the fifth seven Oh five and it's a bit of a hodgepodge mike stem with a pair of Godolphin home breads including street sense Out of Indy five hundred the Indy Maher that certainly recall Albert Park Pablo Morales US name five to two second choice because Theresa Connelly has got the potential favourite in here with Cadet Connolly fueled debate for the Fitz Dixon hundred thousand dollar two year old season ender for the Juvie so a lot of Lotta good action it right in the middle of the week right united couldn't get enough over the weekend as great as it was got ah got a piece of news we're going to talk tough tour after the first break as well and I'm kind of waiting to hear from a couple of different people that I'd love to talk to because there was a passing Vinnie blanks ninety years old and had been in failing health the last several years but it didn't stop him from coming out Gulfstream and you know the horsemen's lounge and is so many friends and has been tough for him the last few years his wife passed away five years ago Theresa and Vinnie blanks is thought of as as a Massachusetts as a New England Circuit Guy and that's not inappropriate however it it it it's an an under breath appreciation of what a terrific horsemen he was a blank one just under two thousand races and I going to you know what I think I think it was nineteen hundred eighty races in one thousand nine hundred eighty one something like that and his started in the early sixties I would venture to guess that they're the official records at at Equity Base really started a little bit later I I'd be very curious if there weren't you know another another eighteen plus Windsor however many would would've taken to get him to two thousand then he blanks was I can I can recall coming to Saratoga and we laugh about this down Winfrey and and with Mikey Arrow Rockingham shippers and the the New England horsemen and not just them but also guys coming up from the mid Atlantic and blanks was one of them without you know without question a guy that you had to really look at and and could cleverly place stock and would win in fact I'll ask I'll ask Andy what he's at ten I'm curious because I I the the first horse that popped in my head was a filly named let's get cozy I I just right away and I and I don't think she was big big orders for him and he had you know he had plenty of of steak winners including Eh trained for Barry Schwartz and had a very good and very good horse the the sword dancer Dr Roope Merida's and you know and then the call of clients that he maintained for a long time and you know he he had that same migration that a lot of the upper evil New England horsemen did as things got got thinner and thinner in terms of first money it in and around Boston and Rockingham and he made the migration down toward the mid Atlantic that aller Mike gyro etc John riggi theory the so forth several which those those three still very successful today but then he blames a name that you saw the in the PP's and you have to take note he he could win the one Edgar Pronto extensively quoted in the obituary at the blood wars fight tweeted he was instrumental in helping Edgar get started and then when things when Edgar had some setbacks including uh terrible ankle break the passing of his mother Barbro circumstance and Edgar was at a bit of a low point in a bit of a crossroads vinnie blanks I'll say gave an ass kicking but but you know got him going again sad edgar was it's really a few Sive Impreza of bitty blacks I see it was GonNa get you Don Winfrey but he's got an appointment so he he's he's got a doctor's appointment and we're trying to get Gory Smith who was very close to the Gorey's probably out there with some babies so maybe later in the morning right now thank our first break Tom Vittore is join us because at noon today the next round the next round in horse sale over yes got the Cadillac right here some some very nice very nice hips to peruse Tom Vittore Dick Landy sterling bill downs John Kirby block and more get going at the races series with St vic on Sirius Xm radio hey what's going on Mike here and I'm going "The races he's with Steve Bishop on Sirius. XM Radio Sky we're back at the races about ten twelve minutes to the top of the Hour Eddie certainly joins us look next right now Dick Powell and last night we were looking forward to the press kyle smile they also ran the Pennsylvania Brad malvern Rose Dick Good morning good night for woodbine shippers 'cause they're in one two and the press guy a mile run OUTTA mile at sixteen and so it was a it was a game as the one because had husbands who usual seat on all kind of reminds me of Ramon Dominguez he's as way up over the withers and not down low like some writers and he has a tremendous record going on so listen to relax from well. This is a fast pace and it was a contestant so when he kind of made that bold move onto the half-mile pole. I'm like Oh but that's that's GONNA be tough to hold on Sunday and he spurted at the top of the stretchy opened up from what about a day like the ones who had been chasing him started to you know run out of energy and then Special Forces in Alan Garcia closed-off got five six wide around the far turn you got up to second the was no real threat to the winner and Mr Ritz as he mentioned owned by Earl Mac who's done in a circle time slightly wounding Saturday and and a new track from Mile Sixteenth one forty one point nine one always look look good. He came off of gray great tree one up at Woodbine on its pita comes down here one's a two thousand dollar steak rates on it to pita and he via waste stream which is what tough breads and Doug Prints on with them. Go with them but you got a nice. My thoughts and Jones is always dangerous when when she should sensors as you gotTa Really Watch out when Chelsea comes in the bed of responded to that conveyed Mr Birth Twenty three to ten favorite restaurant up turning out logical the top three Pixel finished first third second you know it was a good job the handicapped and yet with the first the favorite over the third choice that comes back thirty five dollars that was terrific price Nice Nice Renewal Alma this that Mac actually bred in Great Britain and and funny just finished with Rob Whiteley talking about the imports this happens to be this happens to be a Colt. This is not the the gelding's out of an Argentinian Mare so all some of the things we just talked about with rob on display here and of course Ohio came even as well from del Mar for Michael McCarthy and ran well he ran okay and ended up third in here and you had the one of the nice things about a steak like this is always for the for the local fans and I see the time I went to Charleston for for the classic Joel Rosario came into town and and and road and was on high north for instance for shook and obviously the Canadian jocks aren't Garcia and husbands don't necessarily have the same following but I mean for the for the locals the Joe L. and Tyler Gaffney own came in and and he wrote so you know it's always one of the Nice Nice treats for for local fans when the regional some of these regional to whether it's the like Wow Derby Day and Indiana Derby Day those kinds of things people really come out for that Oh definitely it was a treat and also the race held up very well. We attend stars in the race and I talked last. I think sometimes a Lotta horses on term than they don't start patent plan one in Ohio look like he kind of got victimized by the rally rallied repulse one and got a little shuffled back when what's up dude mister rich Rabe we get to the fun he was Kinda in traffic traffic shuffled back the v Ben came on again and he was he was a very good third that was that was a tough efforts and but the winner was man I I I didn't I did not think he could hang on that last half mile because he was on the pressure and they were they were running and and I looked at all the other time platelets even nothing sticks out and the other races were not particularly fast and this one kind of jumps off the page which hard final time and everything and I had a nice pace the setup but you gotta be interesting to see what what Josie does with this one. What does she tries Breeders Cup Mile on Turf Dirt Mile? She's been us onto the Breeders Cup or anything like that and Max Pretty Game sees one. I think it was the first Melbourne on cut by the one thing he just missed one go anywhere when a good horse especially in some on here with Mr the rent's now and of course combined with the team valor over the weekend in New York so yeah he he's. I'll tell you what earl Mac right now I think has got as many prominent horses I can ever remember right yet. You know the one I remember 'cause he was he was in the first stall and how passion on the excellent tipper the Big Big New York breadth that Mr Mac hat and he won five six hundred thousand state by state races and stuff like that and he was with Howie fears and he's been Europe is in America breathing's led the type losses like that's one yeah and any you know he said something Saturday. I really appreciate it. You win a big race and once the first question that's next and even like it kind of very kindly said I'd like to enjoy the spun off instead of like thinking for what do you got next okay but so you just won the race like enjoy it a little bit without pondering where they're gonna go especially hadn't seen him in Barry. Irwin said I really consulted on the topic but you know Mac was a gentleman. The Way who praised events turn Dr Tension in addition to the mile last night right ahead of it it came to Pennsylvania bred filly race and the three year olds for the Malvern Auburn rose and you know just the fact that Ellen foxwoods they paid one hundred twenty thousand a for the Decca and kind of kind of interesting that the roths quite quite white eager to take advantage of the state bread program here and come in and run one hundred thousand dollars steak and she cut back to a mile first time on synthetic although at at Fair Hill Arnaud Delacour can can worker and has worked steadily the synthetic track too so the Decca a nice winter was I think third third choice an era under Danielson now I'm in Mexico Point Fair Hill notice her workouts. The last work was is on the one before that was on third of hill the last time that would be so when it says training track shots Tita when so say he'll nothing just fast dirt though when when Irish war cry was down there he was training on Dirk not necessarily the Peter but that had been training on both services have been racing on turf and here we have a colonial downs shipper which we haven't sent him a longtime shipping in winning US winning steak race. That's that's right Kelly Steve 'cause I my top. It kills redeem my heart handle one guns to the front look like it might hang on with that car ran down so pay nine forty ready to play so that's nice but I thought redeem my heart out a big shot the race win and thirty eight point six one granted PA breads but it was watching this rates. He didn't have any idea that Mr Ritz was going to run that fast but that's where I saw them much slower pace with mister rich rates I mean they were voted. Invite out escape and but that's what the Nice one full of Becker and you know she has all sorts of options available now. She's the stakes winning doing so doesn't answer so value on Jay talk towards and I thrived by Daniel Santana 'cause he stayed in contact with the slow pace and took over one. We had late in the game. You mentioned the colonial shipping shipping. It's quite notable looking at these two steaks and we'll see it later with the masters when the when the phillies and mayors come in to go to go oh the seven eighths but you had horses come in from colonial Penn National Delaware Parks Laurel monmouth Del del Mar high north was last seen at Oaklawn Arlington Mountaineer and we mentioned Woodbine already ten different tracks showing up at Bresca pretty cool now what what the next Monday we go to the big one press a master's four hundred thousand dollar grade to sixth Mesterolone so we've got that coming up and that usually has three this cup implications. That's certainly rice found for fans out there absolutely absolutely well how about how about the bread and butter action well. The jocking rocky chase has now even though off. We're auto has one hundred nine winners. Pablo Morales has a hundred nine one mm-hmm auto has eighty six second places Pablo Morales has successfully placement. I'd say a pretty tight race and and they run seventy seven days Reysen so that's six hundred sixteen races and these two riders have won two hundred eighteen of those races thirty five you go from hundred nine and that's right Scott speak with forty seven running on forty two drops off pretty significantly weekly so Scott Auto and morality is just killing it and sh should go right down to the wire and side by is we. We had a more mature sports betting market. It'll be a nice proposition wager that even at this point Oh you don't always have to do these things before then begins. That's true you can straps at any point and I don't know what I would go. I mean guy had I been about ten ahead now. Morale is caught him with the ball money one little bit higher but still that's amazing. They both both have a hundred nine second-place finishes. Jerry Brooke continues to lead the train is on the Second Theresa Conley Third John Berks guidance kind of up to He's now fourth with twenty four one but no real changes in the placings brooks suspend ahead the whole thing looks like you continue to be a I talk about the math this week and don't forget up on bounce dot com click.

"Living. We should hopefully resolve that. Keep you know keep that from happening to them. Well how about some. How about some action today tonight. <hes> speeds been doing really well and what's what's funny is. It's not tactical speed. The blowouts jocks have been sending an open. It up have been very hard to catch. I dunno it's that's a circumstance insult what it's been very noticeable so knowing that we're gonna win the race on the fire with somebody early races with the short fields and lower prices yeah. She's <hes> letter x. Number five number two pretty surprised jerry. What's leading trainer pablo morales divided up horse of course i think was a good third last time out of some backlash. I've been up and down the class lot but i just i i think some the rail not gonna make to leave but i think he said and save ground and then hopefully aroused can find something in the stretch. This wants to go on sex sirloin so five climates so we'll go with number. Soon pretty surprised race. Sex are like a christ said number five oxley gap. This is the dan conway junior shipped from here or fifty eight in change breeze of single tribes teed us at the second time <hes> on july twenty twenty second and opened up a big lead before we can wait only got the the length that day <hes> ran against optional ten now moves into open allowance are open while racist on very deep so seahorses moving up and down in class and you just gotta go on recent poem and i think oxfam gap has the right money style where <hes> emmanuel diego who regularized of that hopefully can send us one and opened up a really see if we can hang on at ten to one morning line and race seven looks like a two-horse race between four and five i before is john books the status lower with wahlberg alan carr. I'm going to try to beat with ties silence sophia <hes> <hes> they're both very says we're going to be interested race to see who can beat who going into the first time but <hes> i think five has a little more little more class than before four and <hes> hopefully they'll walk. Can you the go start but i think these two separate themselves from the rest of the field they only did some just four probably will take a lot more money than the size so we will go to size so seven were the number to six dollars to launch on them aside. It looks like a tour five and four or five very nice. I'm looking ahead to wednesday edged as well happens to be a maiden special as the third seven horsfield six betting interests because there's a wayne rice entry but linda sending that hurricane hill who was a fast closing going back about three weeks that that fit biz gelding hurricane hill is going to be a short price for linda <hes> in there. I picked it <hes>. He went off at really long knots over here. Thirty seven to one <hes> drew outside purse friend rally didn't really threaten threatened still got up third three months fine. I don't know if that's his running style or just the tape that start got him away that i kind of trip but our team hell ships and and and <hes> and the ones twenty nine percent with a second time starter sorta thing improve off sir start and you've got a very well bred the dolphin horse number six taylor and all in cardi's than shipping dolphin horses over from arlington and killing that it's good to go sapper this is this is a ghost apper..

"Coasts to <hes> we got the fraternities at <hes> debutante the hopeful spin away and also also the two year olds the on on the grass which is really become really become a thing and we look forward to that as well <hes> dick. Let's talk about what we're i'm looking forward to a out at erie and a little press kyle action. Okay <hes> just ask somebody was the last son that meets so now this next week. Go back to the third day we when they tuesday wednesday thursday so no press guy on sunday for the rest of the year <hes> tomorrow depressed guy mile and the mouth or enroll stakes close out there looking to enter those big big races. This is prescott run. I think on september ninth close tomorrow or this twenty eight so if you're horsemen attention to that <hes> on the last couple of days or interesting because pablo morales one too on sunday and phil last night so he has it's six in the last days he's cut by lead to seven reachable <hes> but it just keep that i am the shadow how good these guys are one hundred times says might be center their place at thirty two wings and typing opinion scott speed of seventy two wanting out in june thirty nine peanut thirty five few amounts so the two typewriters just continue to win in bunches and the numbers of south strong. I mean guy auto morales was number in second place would normally be leading just about any other seasons. Put the two of them and they're not winning against. You know they're not winning. Got expensive the other guy. They cheap one another expensive to run everybody else so yeah i i liked morales. I've always liked pablo morales and going going back to when he broke in and he was around new york a little bit and then he then he's since then he's traveled but i've always thought he was competent and capable you know he has them point six million in earnings out there. I know you're going to pay them and we rides purchase a good thing. Especially the snow closest stocks have been slow. It should be time and come up to invest in pennsylvania which is a vacation area and the nice weather which we live and you get to ride over to peter data so many horses going down in the region and stuff like that so for jockettes consistent businesses consistent the clients mending them come up in tampa in good with money trying to visors guy auto so then he's very good and the cincinnati trying to get asked a lot of south audience last week. It was ten when different this week. Seven ones among the trainers jerry books continues to dominate is thirty seven wins and fifty nine percent in the money. Ron pots is now tied theresa kind of second second twenty six and has the most money on the ball with china's because he's one pub quizzes and then john burke who's been hot. He had to the past couple of days he he's in fourth with twenty..

"So I still think they're more there and the point car focused and Pat really handled it well for, you know, not having ever said are them before. But I thought you know, it was a huge effort. And I couldn't be happier for my team and fighter. We'll talk about the we'll talk about. The cables in a second. I I wanna go back to the blinkers a little bit. How you know how quickly do you turn to them? And you know, what's your blinker philosophy in general? Well, you know, some horses needed on some don't just like some people make some people don't he's always been like I say a little mentally immature. And I even thought about putting Poincare envenom before he ever made it I start, but he was just had so much Ross speed. And you know, did things so easily that I thought well, you know, maybe he won't eat them. But as you step up in company and deeper waters so to speak. I just need a little more focused as game. And the point curse seem to really help them do that and has served proved of factor. I think I'm fatter day when it came to race strategy, and you mentioned Pablo Morales getting. Board. What was the thought about pay-setting? And and where you wanted to be and what you wanted to see the only thing I wanted to see him forwardly placed. I you know, we have the perfect post division to do that. Because if somebody went crazy son and out of the gate, I still think it have been able to sit. But you know, Habla, you know, I mean, you can talk about a strategy on the gate opens at all on fails. You know, so it unravels a whole lot different. Sometimes what it looks like on paper. So you have to have confidence from Jack to be able to make the right decision. We'll pause for second on Pablo Morales because he's an interesting interesting writer, I if people probably wouldn't realize that that he's won. He's you know, he's going to get the two thousand winds probably maybe this year early next year. And I remember back to the daddy to was what he was a kid, and and new on the scene and his brother was working in New York. And it looked like he was going to have a bright future. And he's had a kind of a classic journeyman career. What's your you ride him on on occasion? And you do well with him. Well, I think he's a good writer. He's patient. He's got a good set of hands. He listens. You know? And to me, that's a big key. Or an I think the fact that he's done. So well, the last few years as what all of us whether you're a trainer or whether you're Jack. You're still a victim of your stock. And you're still a victim of how things on Foale and getting lucky, and you still need a combination of all three of those things to move ahead in the business. Well, he's been winning Dolittle under twenty percent at the meat and just looking back last year last year two hundred wins twenty three percent. And in fact, the last two years he's won two hundred races. In back to back years doesn't doesn't seem to ever miss time. He he's healthy. And he's gotta be thrilled. This was only his I just looked at up. This was his second grade at stake win of his career. The daddy was the was the only other exactly he had a smile go from here at the site. Sure. So I was happy very happy for him. He's a hard worker. His got good work that X ethics his out early in the morning. He's out anytime you comb, and like I say he deserves it who's got his book cat, Paula bacon. Oh, very nice. Well, this this that's a story in itself. What's going on with him? And of course, every time we get the opportunity to laud the Campbell's. We take that as well. Because winds like this. You couldn't have people committed to the the sport and to the breeding part of things than than Gillan, and this is Campbell..
