"And sure enough Johnson, I think was over three last night. Jamar Wheeler, I think was over three combined. They were zero for 6 from the field. And EJ Liddell was brilliant as he always is, I think he had 25 points and last night's game. Is that key? 15, I believe. So you don't figure? Yeah, so the front line performed the way that we thought that they would, but the backcourt in order for this team to truly be a top 15 team get to the NCAA tournament get to the second weekend. They've got to get better guard play. Yeah, for me. And Akron's a good team. You know, John gross who used to be an assistant at Ohio State the thigh botta is the coach of the zips and they're good. KJ Walton is a good player transferred it for ball state. He had a good game against Ohio State. The game that stood out to me, Seth and fonts was Virginia losing a navy. And that's just something at John Paul Jones arena. You didn't see coming. And it's the first win over ranked team that navy has had since David Robinson scored a 100,000 points on Syracuse and the NCAA tournament back in 1986. And for Virginia to give up 11 threes, if I remember right, navy shot like 11 of 21 from three. 21. Yeah, you don't see that. And so that was sort of the ACC having Virginia lose at home. You know, Pittsburgh loss, Georgia Tech lost. It was certainly not a good night of non conference games against, you know, what people would normally consider an easy part of your non conference schedule to lose those games is concerning, but it was a little bit concerning for Virginia. And they got to go on the road next week. They go to Houston. To play at Calvin Sampson's team and that's certainly not going to be it's not going to be any easier than the navy game. They're going to have to play a lot better to have a chance in that one. And use some barely got by Astra. It had to make a big time three in the corner and then the game went overtime, Mark Sasha had to big game with 25. And I'm not sure, maybe I'm way off. Tony Ben is brilliant to say the least. But I look at their roster. And if you're relying on PA Clark to be one of your two or three best best players, not a facilitator, not on both the fender. You know, you have, you know, you have a backcourt that, you know, I went and looked at this thing. Virginia loses to neighbors 11 for 21 from three point line. And the guards of Durham beekman and Clark were three for 15. From the three. I mean, that's going to have to get better for Virginia to because they're going to have to win with their guard play. And that's just not good enough. The team that's interesting to me and Jay you and I have talked about this. We always talk about Rick Barnes and well, you know, I don't know about offensively. They don't play fast enough. I mean, you look at Tennessee, they were 17 for 40 from the three point line. They shot 43 points they were 40 of their 77 shots from the three point line. And we talked about this. Kennedy Chandler and Justin Powell pal the transform auburn and Kennedy Chandler. I mean, Chandler goes to 24 assists from a three. Pal goes three for 5 from the three point line. This might be in terms of their older, you know, Victor Bailey can make shots. You know, Santiago vescovi can make plays and the games easier because she got a dominant what I call ball guard that has a really good feel for how to play. They've got legitimate depth, but Rick Barnes shooting 40 threes. I almost I'm embarrassed saying it. Because I can't it's like a phenomenon to me. I mean, like, what do you guys? I mean, I think Tennessee has a chance. You know, they've got some young core players and I think a backwards got great depth. And Kennedy Chandler is a guy at this, you know, my new phrase, you'll get tired of it. He's a bucket creator, NA bucket getter. And that's a pretty good combination. I'm ready a little surprised by, yeah, I'm a little surprised by the number threes, but it was Tennessee Martin. It wasn't like a, you know, they did that against arbor or something like that. So yeah, that does surprise me. But I want to be able to dig in and see them. I didn't see the Tennessee Martin game. So it's hard to tell what kind of game it was looking at a box for. But when you watch, it's kind of like watching Villanova that Villanova over half their shots are threes seemingly every time they every time they play. But you never go, it's too many. You know what I'm saying? They're like, it's not maybe years ago when the if you go back into the 90s or something, you know, you had this almost like this governor in your mind saying, well, wait a minute, you know, you live, but I've always hated this. You live by the three, you die by the three. But that doesn't make any sense to me. Either make them or you don't, it's like saying, William, that you live by the interior touch or die by the interior. You.
