"Wind in a messy way but you don't know when and one of the other points that I that I'd noted in a piece I wrote a couple weeks ago was you know we're all looking at this 210 inversion and we're noticing now that with 10 -year yields rising the inversion is going away but the recessions start after the yield after the inversion is gone so that's another warning sign. See something they're talking to our very own Abigail Doolittle. Of course, Fred Powell, the Fred Chair speaks on Friday. This is Bloomberg. Fresh update on "psg" discussed on Bloomberg Markets

"And I can both refi at some point in the future all right Billy Lipschultz Paul Sweeney we're live here in the Bloomberg Interactive Broker Studio we're streaming live on YouTube so go check that out as well you can search Bloomberg radio couple notable trials going on in the city of New York these days one is closely watched by their crypto community and that would be the trial of Sam Bankman -Friede we've got some live reporting from Shonali Basak she is downtown at the courthouse Bloomberg Global Finance correspondent Shonali for the crypto space this is big obviously for the people that were defrauded this is big and obviously this is big for Sam Bankman -Friede what's the expectation down there as you talk to people around the courthouse about how this might play out over the next several weeks and Paul you know how I feel about this I'm gonna draw it out even further this is one of the most historic white -collar crime cases in history when you look at the prosecution they are not trying this only to crypto this is a matter of alleged crimes allegedly defrauding investors and remember even though it involves crypto currencies they involves a lot of very classic financial techniques building an exchange and potentially taking the money out of that exchange to fund a hedge fund strategy now when we look at what is expected the jurors have been picked we are looking at a 24 hour period where there are a lot of questions posed to kind of weed out who might have had preconceived notions coming into this case about crypto or Sam Bankman freed himself one of the questions for example was whether the jurors or potential jurors had seen and you can kind of hear the whether the jurors had New York City, New York City down at the Southern District absolutely so when you are listening to the jurors themselves one of the questions we're talking about was whether they had seen the 60 minutes that involved Michael Lewis's book that had come out this week so a lot of real fanfare that has been put on not just the trial the witnesses around these trials I mean remember Caroline Ellison his former girlfriend who had really ran Alameda for some critical moments there has kind of become a household name in a lot of ways many people know know of her now that may not have known of her before and remember she and others have already guilty pled and are expected to be cooperating witnesses as I stand here right now we are waiting for not just that jury selection which we know has been decided the opening arguments because what is known is how Sam Bankman freed will thoroughly defend himself against more than a half dozen criminal and Shonali cryptocurrency is complex finance is complex how do the complexities of FTX and FTT in the relationship with Alameda how is that going to impact how the jurors perceive this case it certainly is going to be a complicated thing to describe to a lot of these jurors but there is a very basic element to this people put their money inside of FTX to buy and trade Bitcoin with an assumption that that money would be staying in the realm of an exchange as an exchange is supposed to do and remember the bankruptcy proceedings when it comes to FTX is going on separately in addition to the trial that involves Sam himself their money was then taken out and used for something else that is not what they were promised coming in so that is the basic point that is going to be made here the question to remember comes of intent remember from the beginning we've seen Sam Bankman -Fried really take to the media a ton before he was put aside and not able to talk to anybody at all really jailed in the instance of these crimes alleged crimes so remember when he did have the opportunity to speak to the public what he kept on saying was that he didn't knowingly mislead investors, he didn't knowingly defraud anybody so the idea of intent is going to be an important element of this trial yeah I'm not an attorney but I'm just not sure I'm not sure I want that to be my primary legal defense that I didn't mean it and when you look at this some of the indictment here I mean there's some serious serious charges and the US federal government doesn't typically go to trial unless they feel really confident about their case have we heard anything from the prosecuting team in the last a couple of days well we will hear from them in their opening remarks very shortly here that's going to be the most important part here for them to set set the tone of how this trial is going to play out remember they have witnesses already on their side they have had at least three people already plead guilty and say they would cooperate one person that we know is not necessarily cooperating but also plead guilty is Ryan Salem who ran the Bahamian subsidiary who is known to have gone to the authorities in Bahamas early on when a lot of the crypto crash started to eat away at FTX's own finances which led us to this place to begin with so we know that he has pled guilty we know that Ryan Salem has not been cooperating necessarily as a witness the same way the other three are but the fact that they have these three significant executives at FTX is significant a thing will his parents testify? Who can be brought to kind of pitch his case? massive question mark here he's not currently expected to testify the judge had reminded him over the last 24 hours that he has the right to if he wants to even if his lawyers were tell to him not to and like we've been talking about we have seen him come out and make a lot of statements when you thought he would not be willing to speak to the public about what happened at FTX so will he take the stand? a this is six -week trial we are going to have weeks worth of witnesses brought to the stand to give a sense of what really happened at FTX will the parents testify that's another great question they were certainly here today in support of their son however their role in this entire drama has has also been a massive question given that they themselves are two very world -renowned lawyers when it comes to ethics as well as a tax law and very critical functions that led to the early successes at FTX before it failed so what role did they play how much did they know will they also be sought to be held accountable in those regards there's this amazing story that our own Businessweek's Max Chafkin had written about the complications they face between supporting their son and knowing or not knowing what exactly went on but who will take the stand? It's going to be a long couple weeks. Alright Shanali thank you so much for joining us really appreciate it Shanali Basak she's a global finance correspondent for Bloomberg Television she's reporting live from the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan where again the appears that the juries the jurors have been selected and then I guess the next step I'm not sure today or tomorrow we'll get some opening statements and then there will be you know again the judges outline six weeks for this trial so we will certainly stay on top of that as it unfolds. We're going to have more coming this is Bloomberg. Alright let's get some company news right now with Lisa Mateo. Thanks Paul. Intel says it plans to separate its chip division into a standalone business Bloomberg's Abigail Doolittle has details. Intel is separating this purchase from Altera back in 2016 so they haven't had it that all long it's called the programmable solutions group or short is PSG and they're basically going to put it into this standalone business either through an IPO they will be looking for private investors and it's really the shift we've that seen in the landscape. Shares right now up about half a percent. Weight loss medications may have many health benefits but they can also hurt sales for companies that rely on people snacking more Bloomberg's Gina Cervetti has that story. Drugs like Ozempic used for weight loss pose a real risk to companies that make everything from fast food to cigarettes. That's the assessment from Barclays strategists who say the growing popularity of the drugs could hurt demand for companies including PepsiCo, McDonald's and Altria. On the other and hand they say some companies like CVS Health could benefit if more people get prescriptions for drugs like Ozempic. Now shares of Ozempic and we go we make a Novo Nordisk right now they're up about one percent shares of Monjaro maker Eli Lilly up about seven tenths of a percent. An Airbnb wants you to stay longer. CEO Brian Chesky tells the Financial Times that offering rentals of up to a year is a huge opportunity. Only 18 % of gross gross nights booked in the second quarter came from stays longer than 30 days. It's even less for extended stays of more than three months. The company also wants to expand its services and is considering rental cars and dining pop -ups. Airbnb shares right now they are up about one percent. I'm Lisa Mateo this is Bloomberg. "Tech leading The way lower the market in South Korea back online after a two -day break the KOSPI is off more than 2 .1 percent communication services and industrial shares are a lower as well Now if you look at the bond market right now the yield on the 10 -year JGB spiking to just under 86 basis points we do have a weaker yen and a lot of volatility in the Japanese currency right now 149 .20 against the greenback in Sydney the ASX 200 off about seven tenths of percent and as expected the rbnz central bank in New Zealand keeping its benchmark rate unchanged at five and a half percent we'll take another look at market action for you in about 15 minutes let's go to global news next Kevin McCarthy no longer speaker of the house at Baxter has more Eddie yeah exactly right Doug McCarthy says he will not run again as well in his news conference afterward as we carried here on Bloomberg almost you retrospective know you need 218 for the rule 218 to move forward and I'll never give up on the American people that doesn't mean I have to be speaker to do what I have to do for the American people there's a lot of things I could do for the American but people you know what's interesting everybody's sitting there in today's world if you're sitting in Congress and you took a gamble to make sure government was still open and eight people can throw you out a speaker yeah he says that he did the right thing for the American people he repeated that over and over again he also blamed the because Democrats he said he kept government open and then they turned against him the vote turned out to be relatively close and there was a thought that Democrats might rescue him but House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries came out before the vote saying that was not going to be the path this is a serious solemn and sober moment House Democrats are going to continue to put people over politics and to fight to make life better for everyday Americans Jeffries says they just don't trust McCarthy Republican Congressman Bob Goode says Republicans can't operate under a speaker who is only willing to fight through one failed CR before surrendering to the Democrats on Saturday We need a speaker who will fight for something, anything, besides just staying or becoming speaker and the main mover behind the ouster move Matt Gaetz just simply says...Jeffries McCarthy has made multiple contradictory promises, and when they all came due, he lost votes to people who maybe don't even ideologically agree with me on So next, names? Bloomberg's Jeannie Shanzeno goes through the list as of now The names we've been hearing are people who've been part of leadership, so over the weekend, Tom Emmer's name was posted, he's the number 3, he's the Republican House Majority Whip from Minnesota, his name was floated, Steve Kochelis, the number 2 from Louisiana, well respected, but of of course, he has health issues, so it's unclear if he would be willing to serve. Another which is interesting particularly for people from New York is Elise Stefanik, she is the top female Republican, and her name has been floated, along with Tom Cole, so there is a number of names, but I think the big question in so many of our minds is, can anyone at this point get to that magic 218. 218, 218, 218, sounds like a new pop song, several reports of the Republicans trying to elect a new speaker, October 11th. Alright Brian, back to you. Alright Ed, thanks very much. Well, we'll have a lot more on this historic story of the Speaker of House, the Kevin McCarthy ousted from his position all throughout the hour here from our team. In some stories, other Treasury yields hit new multi -year highs after the government reported an unexpected increase in job openings in the United States during the month of August. Let's get the story gone up in terms of job openings by 690 ,000 to over 9 million again, that is a significant increase for the JOLTS report, job openings and labor turnover, hiring the number of people getting hired changed little, it's still at about 5 .9 million, so a very stable situation there, and then the quit rate, everybody's been focused on the quit rate, doesn't change all, at quits 3 .6 million, pretty much the same as the prior month, and that leaves the quit 2 .3 percent. Bloomberg's Michael McKee, the jump in job openings was driven mainly by white collar positions, in the meantime the data on the market, the labor market, bolstered the case for the Fed to keep rates elevated. Atlanta Fed president Raphael Fed's Fed's 2 percent target. Bostic also says that he expects just one rate cut will be appropriate in 2024, and it would be near the end of the year. And Cleveland Fed president Loretta Mester said she would support another rate hike in November. But for the Treasury secretary Janet Yellen, says not so fast, she says she's keeping an eye on the run up in rates. I'm very optimistic about the US economic outlook. Short -term inflation is coming down in the context of an extremely strong labor market. We are now engaging in a very substantial program of investments in our economy. Yellen said that higher for longer rates is by no means a given, and she really casts some doubt on whether or not the strength in the economy would force interest rates stay to elevated for a long time. Well, the yen rebounded from the weakest levels of the year with a strong rally. Bloomberg's Juan Wong has the story. Japan's currency reached 150 .16 per dollar on Tuesday in New York trading. The yen then soared nearly 2 % in a matter of seconds to as strong as 147 .43 per dollar. It last traded at around 149, selling yen with again traders as selling U .S. yields rose to the highest level since 2007. There is speculation that Japanese officials were acting to slow the currency slide. An official with Japan's Ministry of Finance had no comment on whether Japan intervened on the yen. In Hong Kong, I'm Joanne Wong, Bloomberg Radio. So we a had lot of weakness and then a lot of strength and then we sort of at the moment here almost back to where we were midday yesterday dollar again .21. 149 Well Intel plans to turn its programmable chip into a standalone business by either selling shares to the public or seeking out an investor for it. The story from Bloomberg's Charlie Pellet. The division called the Programmable Solutions Group stems from its acquisition Altera. of The move is part of CEO Pat Gelsinger's plan to shake up the company and raise funds for his turnaround effort. The chip maker in a statement said over the next two to three Intel years intends to conduct an IPO for PSG and may explore opportunities with private investors to accelerate the business's growth with Intel retaining a majority stake. In New York Charlie Pellet Bloomberg Radio. Well, back in the United States jury selection occurred today in the middle of Sam Bankman freed. He's accused of swindling billions of dollars from the crypto exchange X. Tomorrow the prosecution will be laying out its case. Let's get more on this from Bloomberg's Kaley Blinds. The prosecution also will be assisted by the accounts of multiple key witnesses. Bankman freed's closest associates at the time all of this went down. Gary Wong who co -founded FTX him. with Nishad Singh who used to be FTX's head of engineering and Caroline Ellison who was the CEO of Alameda Research the aforementioned trading firm and also his ex -girlfriend. All of them have already pleaded guilty to federal charges and cooperating are with prosecutors so they will be able to lean on their testimony. On the defense side though Sam Bankman free already leading up to this trial has said repeatedly it was never his intention to commit fraud and intention is going what is to have to be proven over the course of this trial. Bloomberg's Kaylee Lyons. Bankman freed has pleaded not guilty to all seven charges including fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Alright the time is 10 minutes past the hour let's get to our guest Samuel Rhee co -founder chairman and CIO of Andawis. Well Samuel it's a very volatile time here I myself going back and forth at the moment on whether or not this is too far too fast in terms of

Justin J. Pearson Pulled a 'Black Hillary'

"Back in 2016, though, when he was a college student, mister Pearson acted and behaved very differently. As a matter of fact, he wore a suit. He did not have the Afro thing going on. He did not speak in the so called black preacher sing song voice. You can hear it for yourself, cut 8. Dustin Jay Pearson. And I'm running for president of PSG. There are a few reasons that we're running this campaign this year. One has to do with representation. How can we represent all voices in a conversation? I wanted to do this by partnering with organizations from the bode Democrats to the boon Republicans. I want to bring together different voices, dissenting voices. Voices that may be more liberal or more conservative. In order that we can reach a point of sort of the radical middle. Seem like that in our gun lobbyists might win. But all that was good news for us. I don't know how long this Saturday in the state of Tennessee might last. But all we have good news, folks. We've got good news that Sunday always comes. There you go. So, I mean, what changed? Basically, this guy is pulling a black Hillary. And if you say, well, Tom, what do you mean by black Hillary? Well, I'm going to take us back to 2007. Hillary Clinton, speaking to a black congregation, cut number ten. I don't feel no ways tired. I'm too far. From where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don't believe he brought me this far. To leave me.

"Let's shut down the trains. I agree, banning away fans. I need to see the other scary element. And for people are outside Europe, they may not understand there's people who aren't very familiar with ultra's networks. There's a cohort of people that like to fight around football matches. And a lot of these ultras groups. And by the way, I'm not saying I'm director worst monopoly, not believes ultra groups have gone into ton of troubles. They've also been banned in Italy from going to way games and stuff. There's some really bad elements in there. But there are cohorts of these people who ally, who want an excuse for a fight. Yeah, for sure. So as you said, there was a suggestion that people coming from I think red star Belgrade, ultras, were rumored to be coming down, fine art, ultras were rumored to be coming down. Each one picking sides, okay, we'll team up with eintracht. You guys team up with Napoli. This is a city that people live in. You know, we're in our football bubble. If you're an elderly person, you don't want to get caught up in this. There's an argument to be made two Cox payer resources going to pay for all this. Once you get that Intel, problem is from the outside when it's the chief of police unilaterally making the decision. It's never a good look. Abdel was a man. The manager of anger has been sacked. Jules, what did he do? Yeah, that's another crazy story. There's a player anger yesterday the left back who has been charged for sexually assaulting a girl in a nightclub. And the manager was a three was a good idea before the game. The weekend where we knew of the charges to send his team talk before the match to set to the players, well, Shetty is starting the game. I left back because it's not that serious what he did. We've all touched girls before. Which, as you can imagine, went down pretty badly within his own dressing room with his own players who were shocked by the fact that their manager could use technology like that and was like that saying sexually assaulting someone is okay. I think we've all done it pretty much. There's nothing wrong with touching girls. I think most people have done it. There's a little word called consent in there, which seems what's in dispute here. It's incredible. I mean, it was a terrible manager on top of it. How did this come out? If he said it in the players at some point, it could not let that go. I mean, already they knew that he was completely out of his depth as a manager. He hadn't won any single game in the 12 games in charge that he had or 11 games in charge that he had. And they were very, very happy. It was a table scene, but they were happy to leak it because they knew they would get rid of him and rightly so and I didn't deserve to be a coach on it. It doesn't even deserve to be at that club anymore. This is a club, by the way, anger who had another players charge recently for exhibiting himself. Exposing himself again and doing weird stuff. It's a crab that the owner, by the way. Kyle walker of a French cousin. Maybe. But the owner of anger in June, his trial, we start for sexual sexually harassing some member of the club as well. So the owner is not nor a regret. He's another guy. There's a lot of things going wrong at that club right now. Juventus are hoping that a procedural error will help them overturn the 15 points penalty that they receive for force accounting Gabor is this about. So basically there's another, it's like an administrative tribunal that said that decided to allow some sort of evidence without getting too loyally and complicated. You know my feelings here. They allowed you to submit this kind of evidence in the sporting tribunal, which will decide whether to uphold or to throw out their appeal against a 15 point penalty. It all centers around when basically, if you're a prosecutor, if you request evidence of official evidence from the case it was the financial control body retirement football, you then have 60 days to open an investigation. Apparently or the suggestion here is that they requested the evidence and then sat on it for more than 60 days, which means then you can't open investigation. And this would mean you are getting off on a technicality. You've been getting off on a technicality while it's good in the immediate, if they get their 15 points back, I don't think there's a clean outcome. I don't think it's a good outcome. I think it leads all the suspicion of wrongdoing. I hope, and by the way, this would invalidate some of the evidence against them not all of them. You should, yeah, of course, pursue this because ultimately needs must and his financial stakes, you know how to do, you know, look at their shareholders. But hopefully you can get this overturned in a way that everybody understands and not answer kind of to show that you will encounter to show that you and to show that this case, this idea that it's a system or whatever, is nonsense. And there's something wrong, by the way, with a legal system, which doesn't give you a pathway to do that, that actually encourages you, well, no, there's too difficult to prove. So much headache. Hey, let's take this technicality here, we'll let you all. Is back in full training for arsenal. How excited should go to be? Very excited because he's returning to an attempt to make the team better. Of course, they were still good with our him. They'd be better with him. It's another option. It's another body. He's a very tiny player, especially when he gets back to full fitness to his best. Like he was before his knee injury. So it's great news, of course, because you always scared that maybe there'd be a setback there or a muscular injury following up him, being really eager to come back and to full fitness, et cetera. So for now, it looks like he's on track and then whenever he can start again, maybe at you expect him to go, maybe get 15 minutes there, 20, 30, you don't want to rush him either. Europa League tonight is too soon. Yeah. But maybe a cameo this year. Yeah, it's only I think so. I think so. It says that Bruno Fernandes will continue to be much the united standing captain when having Maguire is now around. Gap, is this a thing? I mean, this is so stupid. He's kind of behavior and body language. Oh, so you can't be standing captain. No, no. The people, I blame the people who make this a thing on social media. I blame us in the media. We should have the news judgment, not to follow up. Not to ask Eric ten hogg. These stupid questions. Unless the united player comes out and says, even off the record, I'm not comfortable with Bruno Fernández being stand in captain. What does that even mean? It reminds me of like when Marino's decided, oh, Paul Pogba is no longer one of her four vice captains. Eric should be made to answer this. Yeah. You know, Eric and Han will give the captain's arm band, do whatever he wants to, right? I mean, Harry Maguire is a club captain, but he doesn't always play. What do you expect to have to say?

"I'm not suggesting he was home in song, but he did try. So I'm just wondering, is does he not see the side of the game? Does he not see that what's going on there? I mean, he played, he played centrally yesterday on Wednesday night. There's not much tracking back to do. You try back when you play wide and your fullback is going forward for example. When you play centrally, you go and you sit on your short gimmick to try to disrupt them and you go and you still press when you're playing centrally. It's not really the price. But you're right. Your point stands because he doesn't want to do it. It's as simple as that. We talked a lot about it during the World Cup because he was very clear and Deshawn was very honest about it. Saying either someone to defend. So we have to find a way of. Excluding him from the sort of defensive task that a team has to do. But you're right. Maybe it's not enough. And maybe even with the body didn't do enough yesterday. I think there's a point where you could be the best player in the world and I think he is now or is in the top three, let's say we are going to rush for the nosy man if you want to a vast scale however. Well, you can't do it all on your own anyway. So I would have loved Killian to have an amazing game yesterday. I joked with some people at the club before that. If it's got two or three, then I would have him in the flash interviews post match, that kind of stuff. And maybe he didn't do enough. Maybe he didn't do enough in the whole game to game self available to find the space. He was happy because he defended really well. Stanislav helped him well. They layered sometimes. All of that, he didn't get much service either. I get it. But yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe you should do more efforts overall. I mean, I'm thinking of two great center forwards. One of them about on door winner, the other one, probably should have won one. Kerry Benzema and Robert Lewandowski, who, in terms of work rate, and energy, you know, certainly when they were his age, obviously now they're older. They were, they did all that. And these skills were quite tons of goals and Benzema Benzema on the bottom door. And they still have a lot of them. And I do wonder if Mbappé is in the binding instead of Lewandowski. With the manager with a bunch of like pep, for example, I would think that he would have probably, he would have done the work and the running that levandowski did. And that is a perfect segue to my next point. The manager, because we've seen pat go and get good luck, the old trope in football is, oh, you're the skill guy. You don't necessarily go and have the physical energy side of the game because you want to refresh when you get the ball, all this stuff, right? These guy pep takes over a team and they all start running like maniacs, right? That was a whole thing. Even with Barcelona, early pet, right? They ran more than anybody else. Even though they had 70% possession, you're still outrunning the opposition. I'm like, where's all this running coming from? And the ball. And they're moving the ball so well. They shouldn't be running, but they are, right? And that's what made them so good. You know, I know it was a football for that time and whatever. So the question is, do you need a manager who can unlock that side of Zimbabwe? Who can explain to him this will make you an even better player on a much better team? Yeah, yeah, I think so but I think he knows it and I think. The problem is the lack of collective cohesion of that team anyway. So he could have pressed more yesterday or counter price more. But behind him, it would not follow it anyway. It would have done it. And I think sometimes he doesn't do it because he knows that it would be crazy or stupid for him to do it because behind him the unit, the block would not follow anyway. Because I think there's a lack of work behind it. I think gautier, again, has limitations. And this is not. And again, I would love to see security in a pep team or in a club team and see and see what happened and see how it does. It would maybe never happen. But you might have a manager one day and I think two whole got a bit of that at the time with him. So I don't know but yesterday I think he wanted it to be his big day and he wasn't and he was in the end he was disappointing. One of the one of the big issues here is obviously in terms of potential Golgi Succession and you've talked about that. But more broadly, there's this perception of python. And here I'm going to be mister contrarian. Well, part of it, it's a zoo. It's show business as different people, too much change. I was trying to think, obviously, Leonardo was there for a few years, but then what you've had three directors of football in the last four years, something like that? Yeah, like the continuous changing of the managers, players, showbiz, social media, all of that may be true. To some degree, but that can't be an alibi for lack of success because the team they're playing against. Every time we have yawn on, and he talks about Biden, he's like, oh yeah, FC Hollywood, blah, blah, blah. You've got this guy talking, that guy talking. This guy not really goes to the fashion week. And his weird friend who gets sacked and whatever, there's controversy, there's unrest, there's distractions.

Oh, you didn't go to the geese gizzy pyramids, Craig, you didn't see. I was too afraid. Yeah. I was scuba diving, Frank. That's where I learned to write a site. I did my paddy course and I learned to scuba dive over there and I used to go out in the boats diving boards and Dave shipwrecks. And that was brilliant. But you and a wet suit, huh? Yep. Yeah. "One. But the last one, go for the last home. I mean, I've got that in Merida. There you go. Beautiful. Elite is the ESPN FC. Just don't care about the conference. We do care about the Champions League, though, of course, PSG out after losing two now away against Bayern. And not only do we care about the competition, we care about Jules well-being at the end of this thing is beloved PSG once again eliminated. In the round of 16, once again going out with a whimper, once again Messi and Mbappé walking around, good evening Joel. Hey. Hi. Thank you. Thank you for your support, and your love. What was the chances of Jill's actually answering the phone and switching the camera on? I know fair play, isn't it? Yeah, I know. True professional. Yeah, very much so. Needs the money. Going into ransom rave, you know, I'm not even angry anymore. Sweet shops, rich off. I'm disappointed. It's just again that I think from the first half certainly you can have regrets because you well on top you were the better side in the first 5 minutes you should have scored. I mean, I still don't know how vital it can make the chance that it has because there's so many options to aim. I think maybe Russia's and then you shot in the end is rubbish and the layer times the time to come back and clear of the line I still don't know how that doesn't go in, but after the first 5 minutes when encouraging the problem is power me also knew that I had big dogs at the second half could be as good and it was nowhere near as good. And that's the problem variety gives the color away. Like you shouldn't be giving at this level and again we go back to the same old story with the same mistakes, but you don't take your chances when you give cores away to your position on Aruba with Benzema, Madrid, last year, it would be a year tomorrow. All those kind of that kind of stuff. You can't happen at that level. Variety, you could say, yeah, of course, you've been good at tons of PhD, but tonight that was just the wrong the mistake at the wrong time. And then they lost their way in the second half completely by and I think that's a little bit and it became it became too hard for them. They still had chances that are almost as a couple of good headers. The overall, you got beaten by a Tinder over the two legs, probably deserves to go through and you don't. Yeah, you got injuries, of course, and that's the message that you saw at the end. I don't care. I could not tell us about injuries. There's missing. You should have done better, and you didn't do a good job. And you failed. He felt the club failed. The players failed again. They're not being angry. Yeah. Narrative. I'm okay. I'm okay, guys. I'm okay. That Jules is at the game. Save some for the podcast tomorrow. Is it over for PSG and this project? I think there are circumstances for that care and I give him that. Again, it kept repeating after the game in his press conference. You know, I lost three center backs in the last two games, which is true. And I think it's a challenge. And again, tonight, you read martinius where we knew it was not fully fit because of his injury, then you lose Michele. We knew he was not fully before kick off as well because he had an injury three weeks ago. You've got hakimi playing. He hasn't played since the first leg. He's got loads of issues of the field as well to sort out. So I know this is not ideal. And this would not be ideal for any manager. However, we've seen enough now of galaxy to know that it's not the right guy for this project that you need someone like a ten high enough time with the proper philosophy who's going to overlook the overall of this quad. And this court needs a lot of work on. It is a lot of rebuilding. But for that, for that rebuilding to bring the right players in at the right edge with the right experience with the right background, you need the right manager and why not this manager is not the right manager. He's a good manager. He's a decent man. He's good. He's not good enough at this level. It's never the right manager. Ever, Jules, before I let you go, what was the experience like to be there and witness that in person? What a lovely treat. Love this man. I've been, I've been in this city again many, many times before. And this time, what was the big difference is that there was quite a lot of decisions as to people from the club before kick off. They were optimistic, the French journalists were optimistic, they keep tone this morning is optimistic. The players were optimistic. So I became the optimistic way into this lovely stadium, but you know what? Buy in sharing kilian and kiyan feeling that this could be a good time. And again, it's the same story where you auto eliminate yourself or you shoot yourself in the foot again that we've seen so many times. And yeah, and yeah, but it was a good trip to go to Munich. Jules last question is that kilian papez last game for PSG in the Champions League. It depends the way you see it. If you listen to him after Saturday, so obviously this is before this big disappointment. When you break the record, he said, you know, I want, I'm happy here. I want to win. We know how much it will mean for him to win the Champions League in Paris. Of course, for because his hometown is home crab, all the narrative, I get it. Tonight after the game he said, well, maximum and this is what a maximum looks like and clearly meaning this is not good enough. I mean, come on, this is babish. So I think he will it will be in between between 9 and the end of the season. You might want to go at the end of the season. Another year left on his contract. I think PhD will stay up in the door. You're staying regardless. And if you join the right signs in the summer of who are you going to go for? Who are you going to sign? Who potentially are you going to sign? Again, if the question of the manager is sorted out, then yeah, it will stand and his mindset might be a positive one. But right now, for him, for him taking again, the chances are you're going to again facing another disappointment. It would be a hard one to take for sure. Does it say buy an over your bed draws Abby brilliant if they were trolling you in the hotel? It says Munich, yeah. You can't make this shit a lot. You can't make an answer. Great stuff. Thank you very much. Much appreciated. Of course, Jules back with cab. Tomorrow

"Bettis. Now speaking ahead of that tie, ten Haagen Marcus Rashford were asked about Bruno. I love playing Roberto as you can imagine. I think for a forward, you know, like me, he is a perfect player to play with. You know, I think he's been a good leader for us, even when he's not been captain. Which is always a good sign. He's helped other players become better leaders and the reality of it is we can't be a well organized team with just one leader being the captain. So he's done a lot for us in terms of bringing his leadership skills in and that was from the moment that he arrived. So yeah, I don't have anything negative to say about Bruno. I think he's playing a brilliant season and he's a really important role. We are in the possession where we are. Because he is giving energy to the team. Not only ruining a lot and in the highest intensity, but also in the right way in the right direction. And he's pointing and coaching places and inspirator for the whole team. And but no one is perfect. Everyone has this mistakes and everyone has to learn. I have to learn and he will learn as well because he's intelligent. And so but I'm really happy to have Bruno bananas in my team and I'm really happy that Brian of anonymous is not on the pitch he's our captain. It's interesting when they chose to play these clips. I was like, well, what else are they going to say? What else is ten are going to come out and say about Bruno? What is rashford going to say? Well, you're not going to ask Marcus rice for a press conference and he's going to say actually is a pain in the box. Okay. So can't stand them. Because Marcus rice. If he did think he was a pain in the butt, would he still be saying these things publicly? Or would there be a kind of different? I think sometimes from the outside, we see them as a bit of a nuisance on the field. I think internally, my experience as with players like that is that generally that everybody will get a long fame. I think from rashford's perspective is clearly been a benefactor of some of Bruno Fernandes's clever Ellie Bose over the top and his vision. There is no doubt he'll let himself down badly at the weekend, but he wasn't alone. There's also no doubt is a very good footballer and he's having a good season. I think as in the outside it can look at me and say, you know, I was playing. But I think from N internally, everybody seems to be happy with them. If we perform like that every week, it has these little moments of pushing a personal assessment or not tracking back or being even more petulant than normal. Then that's a problem, right? But every now and again, you can handle it. Frank, you have been critical of Bruno more than most, would you would you still appreciate him as a teammate as opposed to looking as Craig said on the outside in it, all his antics? Could you appreciate more if he was in your team? Yes, no doubt. Because I always say that it is a great player. I just showed it the years before. I don't think he has a great season. He had a great season so far. I mean, he's been struggling, you know, like all the estimates in before the World Cup. But he's been good since and after I woke up and of course his vision is talented, he has something special. I don't like his behavior. That's the only thing I have to have to admit and say about him. Would you talk to him about his behavior, Frank? You know, it just comes with the territory. No, no, I will come to the dressing room and say, listen, you have to do something, you know? You can create trouble, you can fake too much. You try to be in the middle of the fight. Lets the big guy, you know, do the fight because you're not good enough strong enough to do so. So get away from the troubles, just think about your game because you're so talented. You don't need that to be in the frame on TV. So that's what I would tell him. Because it's not, it shouldn't be the mean guy. It should be the nice talented player and it's what he's been when he first signed for Manchester United. Meanwhile, of course, sporting take on arsenal, gab, how seriously they were asking to take this. Oh, maybe I should change out why would they take this seriously? Yeah, so if you look so far about the players that are used in the group stages, he's rotated. He's rotated very heavily and in most of the positions. I think it's a rational thing to do. It's what I would do. I don't know what. That's actually going to do on the night. But this is not that this is a squad that certainly got deeper with the additions of trust art in georginio and TVR and whatnot. But you're a couple of injuries away from really being stretched. So you don't really need these games, I'd be very surprised if we saw the strongest 11. I would assume you would see certainly 6 or 7 players. Going in there, you know, maybe guys like Smith Rowe, maybe we'll find the CVR, maybe rob holding, maybe guys of that of that nature, because Kieran Tierney, I would assume certainly Tom yasu. Because frankly, you know, you don't need this right now. It's hard enough, and this is also not only is this a young team that's not used to being in a title fight. This is a young team that's not used to competing and going deep on several fronts at the same time. So I would assume it's going to be more of the same. What about the argument winning is a habit? You've got to keep it going. You can't just throw away these sort of games because then that could have a knock on effect. Who said that? I don't know, Craig. I'm trying to find a different angle because I was asked that I would just be like, I don't want anything to do with this stupid competition. I can focus on the lead. I don't think it'll affect and I think they'll do exactly exactly what gabb said will make some sensible changes, maybe even Vieira's Vieira as well. He has had a better game time recently, but not much. So they'll play their friends players, and I think that would be the sensible thing to do because if you play a stronger squad, right? If you play your strongest team and you pick up two of the engines and have already had injury still actually party and one or two others, then you come in for even more criticism. So unfortunately there's compensation for them and previous years inside and it's important. This year because of the possession in the Premier League, I'm afraid it's a way down the pecking order. I'm sorry for calling it a stupid competition. The confidence. Are you really confidently, however, is also underway on a Thursday, a full range of fictions for you. There they are in all their glory, including oh, I try to pick one. But the last one, go for the last home. I mean, I've got that in Merida. There you go. Beautiful. Elite is the ESPN FC. Just

"But they're going to come straight back down. If they go up, it's quite frankly, it's not just the result, it's the performances and it's the constant wenjing. But again, a bit like PSG, it's not a surprise. It's not a surprise. That's just what he does. And every now and again at successful, when he gets a better cash and a better door at Chelsea and enter Milan and he's in a coaches and it's a great time and all that. But Tottenham, it's just not happening. Frank, it's interesting we were talking during the game and obviously the Holy Grail for spurs is finishing in the top four booking a place in the Champions League. What's the point when you do this? Well, the guy is just trying to upset everybody, you know? And he's sending a message of, in fact, why did you take me knowing or me knowing that, in fact, nothing would happen because you are not good enough because you have no history because I know that I can not change anything and it's becoming a sickest. So that guy I think has to go because I think the fans going to be very upset. I have a question for you guys. If it's your secrets, I Tottenham. If you accept that Mbappé can go to Paris from Paris somewhere else, what do you think about Harry Kane, you know? That fantastic striker staying at spurs. Is that normal that the guy wants to stay? If we're all going to defend him, we've had this discussion, of course. And listen, I'll give it to you. I'm not serial winners of anything. But you know, I think at least from a fan based point of view, there's a bit of hope there when one of your managers in recent years is taking it to a Champions League Final. Asking it to perform as gab said at home when you want to nail down and a little bit more of a positive manner, getting at least a code behind you, even if you even if you don't get the victory. But the 60,000, whatever that stadium holds, the walker wins in mind. We'll give it a go there. A little bit unlucky, better finish. But they're walking away again and they say, another tepid, boring, stale pedestrian performance. And it's just, I think there's just one too many. So I have no idea what they're going to do at that club in terms of the manager, but I just, yeah, and they may get in the top four. They may get in the top four with Antonio Conte. But then where's that road going to lead to? We're a long way removed from the preseason. When this players were asked to run on their yards this way and back that way and this way and that was supposed to be what was going to make a difference for this team. That in key moments in moments where they needed to test their toughness, they were going to be able to come through because of what they learned by running a hundred yard sprints. That's not how it works. Gav, let's talk about Milan. Then shall we? How did they get this done? Well, I think Milan played very well. And over the two legs, they created the majority of opportunities. But I don't think they played like Milan and I am definitely in the minority. When they had that bad run, purely switch to the back three, they became palpably more defensive. It also coincided with benese getting injured. And they started getting better results right up until the weekend when they lost a few and Tina. And I don't think it's the right way of playing, but it was certainly the right way of playing tonight. That back three, I think, largely on troubled. You know, and further up the pitch, yeah, this is a team with, you know, you don't know if Rafael is staying or going, if he's going to sign his new deal. Giroux is older and messier, a couple shots that look like they went out for throw ins. And all this stuff. But yet somehow, the spirit is right. You know, they make the right movements when they need to make them. And they work hard for each other. And it's very different from that much more intense me than we had last season and this is the football purely trying to play this year, but the wheels came off in terms of results. So let's see if they're going to continue with this. And how far they can go, playing this way. Milan should have buried Tottenham in that second half. Yeah, they had so many chances. I think that would have been just with Tottenham's perform Milan. She had a buried them in the second half of the chances it fell their way in the box to cut these chances. There was two of the other ones. Reggae hit the post. I mean, there was, you know, if Milan were clinical and this game in London, it could have been three or four, honestly, it could have been. Finals in Istanbul, gab. Yeah, Milan don't have great memories from Istanbul. The good news for Milan is I think it's unlikely that if they get to the final, they'll be facing Liverpool. And. That's something to hang your hat on. That's not nice. Just a reminder, George is going to be so grumpy. He was the only one that went

"Wouldn't that be sort of your position and your job? So to see killing and BAPE when the game was still there to be won. Walking around, that's not how you write history. That's not how you have an impact. That's how that's not how you take on a challenge. The truth of the matter is that today, from what I could see, the last 30 minutes of the game, which again, everything was still on the balance, clearing went missing. Leonid Messi went missing. That's the truth. Some people may have a different opinion. That's my observation. They went missing. That's not. What your leaders, your history makers, the guys who take on challenges, that's not the way they should behave. If he loves Paris fighting in France, fine. But let's be Frank about is that a team know that our father away then have been in a long time for when and as compensation and nobody, nobody gave us a staff outside of Paris, but when in league on with PSG, killing them, that is, right? So I don't know what the caveat is and staying there. Apart from picking up humongous wage in salary and being the top man. But listen, he can create money elsewhere, still be the top man, but be playing a more competitive side in a bigger league, having bigger exposure and really showing his wealth outside of France, which we know he can do. So if he wants to stay in a circus, as you said, and you're called it right we saw, then stay at the circus. And play to the crowd. And if it's about your career, go. Right. But you should have gone in the summer. We said that because most of us could see that's common. Yeah. What it was going to be. A gab do you think you played this last Champions League game for PSG? I mean, I don't know if I've been talking to the same people on French television who said that bob is going to round Madrid. But certainly, that is what people are saying. I think there's also school of thought. At least among some Real Madrid fans were still very bitter about the way it ended last year, who are saying, well, wait, hang on a minute. Is this where we want to put our money when maybe early Holland might come into play? That sort of thing. He certainly, I think he made a statement by saying, but as Ali said, this is where you have to make the difference. This is where you have to, this is where you have to deliver. And I'm really curious to see also what the reaction is going to be from the Paris Saint-Germain fans because just as we could see him walking around the pitch, which is something we maybe allow messy to do because he's 35 years old, been there, done that, and he's walked the last ten years and won the Ballon d'Or and been the best player in the world. But you're not messy. You know, try to be the best and bad but you can be. And go out there and work and work for the team and work for messy while you're out there. You know, you can work and score a hat tricks at the same time. Some of the greatest players in history, or something that recent history anyway, I've also been some of the most hardworking. So I think that's going to be the letdown. I think it's going to have a long think about it. You ask me if he's going to stay, I'm still leaning towards him staying, but with all the uncertainty and stuff that's happening at the club with the ownership with Nasser, I think maybe it's 50 50. People were saying, talk about walking about. People forget, the World Cup finals fails. Everybody remembers his late performance in the finals. He's penalties. But people forget, we sat here and discussed how did the genres was alone to get away with a lack of defensive duties. And others were covering them. And let's not forget, yeah, there were two nail down. But Olivier Giroud was basically dragged off so that he could go through the medal, killing him, because nobody was doing any work in the way possessions. And yeah, everybody talks about, oh, he almost got his penalties and he's performance at the end. Yes. But people forget and a lot of the games in the World Cup. He just said to his teammates, hey, you do the hard work. And when you get it, play the ball over the top to me. And France were okay with that. And it almost got them over the line. PSG, I don't know if they're okay with it. But it's certainly not getting them over the line. So it's not just the club who does it for. It does it for his country as well because he thinks he's above having to graft wake everybody else. So PSG out of the Champions League Bayern Munich through to the next round for Bayern, this weekend, it's

"Up front, you can get away with having just a guy who's reliable and we'll put it in. If you set it up for him. Frank? Yeah, that's crazy. What just said gab, you know, with the players that they have. I realized that some players, especially in Paris, were not. Accepted and decided to go away because they couldn't play. Command, to promoting, who was born and raised in a suburb of Paris, you know? Those three players today just showed that the good enough to play for Bayern Munich by a Munich, but supposedly not good enough to play for Paris Saint-Germain. There are some stuff that I don't understand in football anymore. So I don't get that. And how do you get rid of those players? We can serve so well in other club. Who's better than them? I'm just going to say, I think the PSG story is pretty much over from me. The age of a lot of the players, they had the chance on the ironically against Bayern, couldn't get it done. I just don't see them on a dermal spiral. And I think that's hard to pick that up in a short space of time. Sorry. Who's better? Than buying. I have to say, nobody at the moment, I mean, it's tricky in it. Well, not because I think old facets of the game. I mean, would man set to play them with a bop? Yeah. Doesn't mean they would beat them. Because they have the frailties? Yeah. Random Graham Madrid are just right. We're just don't see we're just don't see that swashbuckling second half performance Anfield on a regular basis. There's a lot of teams that aren't in the Champions League at the moment, buying almost the exception to that. Well, certainly from what we saw. But you just feel we're buying that there's another gear for them to come when they need it. Well, they're going to need him. If they want it, yeah, yeah. And I think at the moment the answer is probably there to look into the strongest unit from back to front all the way through the spine of the team. Frank when killing in pape made that decision to stay at PSG, you said it was the right thing to do. You would applaud his commitment to the club. Instead of going to Real Madrid with hindsight, was that a mistake? We'll see that at the end of his career because I don't know if he's going to leave or if he's going to stay, but I think it was good for him to write history to the club. He would have signed for Real Madrid, it would have been one of them. He hasn't written any history. He's the top one. You're done, you know? I mean, if he stayed like two or three of the years and they do something, you know, what are they going to do? They're stuck with Messi they're stuck. It's just a downward, he's only going to get more frustrated, Frank. I agree with you guys, you know? I don't know. I wouldn't say I would be. I was him. If I were him, I would leave the club and sign for Real Madrid. But I think I like the challenge is what I said last summer. I like the challenge that he wants to create and write history for the club. And I think it would be nice to see that. It may be takes more than a year, maybe it takes two, three, four, 5 years, and if you were him now, you would still stay. If Miami came knocking in the summer and said, right, come on, let's get this done. You would say no. Well depending on what they want to do next season. What are they going to do? They can't do anything. They're stuck with Neymar until 20 20 7. They need to have a recruitment cell who can have good decision at some point, you know. So not those people who are already there. Not maybe a general manager who works also for another club, maybe somebody dedicated to work with Zimbabwe around them, but why would they expect trust? Why wouldn't that trust anything that's around him at the moment given the circus that has developed over the last few years at PSG? I understand he wants to deliver something he wants to change something. He's tried it for a year. It is a disaster. It's going downhill. No one surely would blame him for going to Real Madrid Frank. No, but I agree with you. And we live in a world of emergency right now. You know where something's good 6 months before, it's not good anymore. But this may be our it might be a deep lover of Paris and it wants to carry on and wants to be stubborn to be one day be successful with Paris and which I wish him the most. But you're right. I think it's what French people think as well in the French television that the message is going to go to maybe Miami and Mbappé is going to go too Real Madrid and that's going to be the end of it and maybe the end of party says I'm out. Can I just say regarding Mbappé? And Frank just said that, well, maybe he likes a challenge. Maybe he wants to write history. Wouldn't today have been a good moment to try to do that?

"Very obvious when you don't have it. This group of players for PSG does not have 18 spirit. This is not a team. There isn't the unity that you would want from a group of players so that they can be successful together. They depend on the individual and we keep saying that the biggest challenge that any manager that comes to PSG is going to have is creating a semblance of a team. There is none of that at PSG. And so if you have Mbappé walking or slow jogging and if you have learned messy, walking or slow jogging, you're not going to create chances. Eventually, you're not good enough defensively. You're going to give up chances yourself. Other team is going to break through, and then your shoulders and heads are going to go down. That is what we saw from PSG today. They did lose no excuse they lost two and a half, one very good one. Had to go off. A young 17 year old Don, so it was against them anyway. I don't think an all honesty would have made a difference. I don't think so the way the game was gone. Variety, you could argue the youngster played variety a little bit of a hospital bowl, but you had some time to get tons by a minute, just cause them done quickly. And it doesn't often give the ball away in those saturations. It was looking for foe, which it wasn't. So there was things just went against them in terms of this game. But ultimately, I think, had marquinho stayed on, I don't really think the end result would have been different, but it certainly didn't help. Frank? Dan, I just want to say something, go back going back to what Ali just mentioned. We've seen all over his career, messy walking. For Barcelona, then for the national team two months ago, but the difference between Barcelona and the national team and Paris Saint-Germain is the others, the work for Missy. So it can stay pretty high to the ITF to go back a little bit like 30 odds down to the field to bring the ball back, which is not what he likes to do because he doesn't like to be that position because of his age it can not do what he used to do. So he's very good in the last 30 in the last 35 yards from the operand goal. It's what he was good at during the workup. But it needs the other to run from him to play for him. Right now, it seems to be the messy as to work for Mbappé. Two and puppy. No, it doesn't work like that. If you want to have messy at its best, you have to make sure you make the team around him and it's not possible to work that way, thinking that messy as to serve Mbappé. Now it's the other way around. He has to be changed. He's what is every time super difficult to work with superstars. We say without them or maybe they have a chance, but. He will have to be maybe. There you go. Frank Frank, just go about you broke up. They just go back to the point you made about Neymar. We had to now

"Of ESPN FC, I'm Dan Thomas joined the studio today by Craig Burley and Ali Moreno later on in the program we reflected on Milan booking a place in the Champions League called a final for the first time in 11 years against a woeful spurs, but will kick things off in Germany, Bayern, in action against a PSG barn, of course, one nil up after the first leg, they would win in the end by two goals and L three nil then on aggregate PSG once again out at the round of 16 stages. Gamma Gotti Frank Labeouf with us. Frank shri start with you for a French perspective on this. I don't even that most Ardent PSG fan couldn't argue they deserved anything but elimination over these two legs. Yeah, you're right. Nothing is complaining. Nobody's complaining about that. I think it's only deserved that Paris Saint James is out of the Champions League. Even if the first half we could have thought that maybe we could have some hopes. But overall, the plan, the Mbappé plan from Bayern Munich worked perfectly. We didn't see him at all. The thing is we didn't see messy at all as well. So how to create some chances, but because of summer, Bianco keeper, they had one chance that vitinia didn't convert. And after that, second half, the complete disappeared, they completely disagree there. Their football and didn't exist, and overall, in the two ties, there's nothing to complain about. They're out of the Champions League and by undeserved to go through. But they started brightly in PSG. First ten 15 minutes, you thought they've come to play, but slowly, but surely you could just kind of see the air go out there sales in this Frank said, second half, it was only really one team in it. Yeah, and Barbie got behind earlier, a couple of times here, oh, that can be fruitful for them as we thought. But then an old film, that back four played them the backlight and played them great, particularly Davies, a Paul McConnell. How did they do it? How did they keep him back at bay so well? Well, the service optim wasn't great, but even when he and Paul McCartney and David are both quick and a poor mechanic is quick and strong. So they just handle them fantastically well. She didn't look as sharp. PSG had moments, Frank mentioned that the summer moment. Circa Ramos had a two hair Ramos moments, big save from summer, one that just went past the post. The second header, but it was just moments by our unit figured out the first 15, 20 minutes, the really control the temple of the game, and in fact, with some of those two on Thursday on threes, and that second half was at war on. They really should have been three or four to the good, but yeah, by and were very comfortable. Deja vu a little bit from PSG perspective in the manner in which they went out Ali, I know you were talking during the game. It's just a lot of people were walking. Yeah, and that I think is a part of that has to be most frustrating from PSG perspective. That it's not just anybody walking. It's messy walking. It's Zimbabwe walking. Getting to a slow jog every so often. And the game was still there. There was still an opportunity. There was still a possibility and it's too easy for PSG as a group, but the individuals, the superstars, it's too easy for this guys to go missing in this big moment. For anything, at any level, Champions League or whatever level you want to pick. For anything to be truly successful, there has to be something that perhaps is not tangible, perhaps you can not measure, but you know it when you have it. And that is team spirit.

These days there's always such a quick discussion in the media about a coach losing their job during bad times. I did want here, right? And I lost my job. Oh. That would be always dubbed. Right. At what stage? Listen, I knew I was doomed because you weren't good. Right. You know, it wasn't a case of just because you lost four Gibbs in the trial and then you're under pressure. "They've got nothing to play for. Other than other than Champions League, and they're already getting ready for next season. And that's why I think this is going to be very tough. However, let's never, ever underestimate. Dortmund's capability for self destruction and self harm and Keystone cops. We've seen them do a time and time again. We've been talking about this and I was talking to sharka there who thought Porter would get to the end of the season. I'm kindly on that on the same page to be honest. But gab, apart from the usual pressure of managing Chelsea in these big teams. Is he going to get to the end of the year and preseason? If he has reasonable enough results, or we're going to see this bold make a hasty decision at some point. Well, look, they keep telling us, right? Tom boley and Nick Bali about how smart they are and how smart their analytics team is and so on. Hey, what's should be very, very, very obvious to you is that if you want to find out whether Graham Potter is a good enough coach, you need to give him time to work. He's never been in this situation where they're playing midweek football before. It's really not at Brighton. You need to give them a proper pre season. And if you're going to bring in a bazillion players, whatever 6 in the summer, 7 in January, you have to give them time to gel. And Potter hasn't had any of those things. I don't think grand Potter's been good. But on top of that, he's also had a ton of injuries as well. And I think this team was horrendously put together because it was put together in the summer when they did not have a director of football or had to recruitment. So I think you have to make all those allowances for him and find out where you are. I think you're going to know in the fall or you should give it at least until the fault to find out whether Potter is right for Chelsea or not. I think personally, you would just wasted a season if you just sack them before the end of the season. I agree. They've been madness. We always talk about players. Managers have got to put players in a position to succeed. You don't play a guy who's just trying to follow player but said, applying actually staffed. And so this would be completely if they don't keep port on and give them a preseason. Let's be complete madness. The vast are going to do a job and tie these hands behind these back by throwing them 39 players, which is completely ridiculous. And anybody has ever been in a dressing room will tell you how ridiculous and how hard that is and how impossible it is to try and figure things out. And on top of it, they're all brand new players. So as they don't give part of the pre season, then I'll tell you what, it won't just be this year we'll make a mess here. They'll continue. If memory serves me right, it was a slow break and to start with and then they got ahead of steam op. So it took them a little while in there to get people talking with Mayo fish, but getting to know the players and understand what he wanted to do. I agree with God, but he hasn't been great. There's no doubt about that. But it has been a really and as a really difficult job, particularly for the reasons Stevie imagineer. The problem has got in some sense, although the fines don't make the decision per se, but I suppose the pressure on boards is that I think there is a lot of people just saying grand Porter is turbid a job for him. Yeah. Now I'd like to see at least a bold stand strong and give them the pre season and then start make sure you see where we are but who knows and football these days. Let's take a look then at everyone's predictions going into that tie in Germany.

"He always, you still, you still have it in your mind that Sean, when he starts picking up some pierce with a ball at his feet, something's going to happen. Just unfortunately this season, particular, it hasn't been happening. And defensively, the Luke pearl, Eric Diane again, for me, has to do better on the gold closing closing the fourth shot. But yeah, as far as Sean's concerned, he said, and he sets in for these foreign. Who's in control going into the second leg, then gab, who are your favorites? I think it's very much a toss up. I don't think Milan can go to the second leg and think, oh look, you know, we defended well. This will get us through. I think they need to produce more on the attacking end. And I think that's been a difficult thing for purely to do. I think if they get really missing is Melbourne in the middle of the pitch because, you know, frankly, crew nature is just a completely different sort of player. So for that reason, I would say spurs are probably still favorites if we're going to play the percentage game. But they got to play better. They can't play like this. They can't play like the team that got walloped by Lester, you know, they have to play credibly and unfortunately that's not something they've been doing consistently. What do you think? I think taught them how to be favorites. As I said, that missed chance at the end could have changed the whole thing. I thought Milan didn't look as though they had another gear and them to be honest. Where does I think tone them definitely do have another gear, particularly at home? And they're all now have that big crowd behind them. So I think Tottenham and favorites going in. To the second leg. For a lot more from gab. "And but he knew that Mbappé couldn't play for more than 30 minutes. So he had to wait until Mbappé come on and with the help of Mendes and akimi bring some chances, Kimi got injured. I was told that also marking his play the old game, but was injured. But it's not enough. When you're a partisan man you want to win the championship, if you only solution is to wait for Mbappé to come on to win a game against Bayern Munich, it's impossible to go through. And papi can not do everything. No, no, no, that's good for him. I'm just going to move it on and say, obviously, in bap a made a difference when he came on. But for the opening hour. Yes, she was just nonexistent. For the Noah when PSG didn't have the ball, it was effectively a four four zero. Because the front two, if you call them a front to a nearby or a massive floating around, don't do anything defensively. Yeah. I'm just completely controlled at the office of the plate of feet at the bike. You can see how the players are running back and one side corpsman and the other, then they switched out for the second half. But yeah, I mean, it was total control, but not creating a lot of chances for all the good play. And when Mbappé come on, he did look as if he was unsure about his hamstring. Right. I mean, to start with. When he come on he was sorry, it wasn't getting involved too much. It was not a real sprint. And then she forgot about it. It got a bit of confidence. And when he made that sprint, then he got that confidence that he forgot about it. And he suddenly realized that it could go that extra yard. And then we started to see that danger over the top, but yeah, their effect at the stats actually help you out in this look at that. It's incredible the difference that you made when you came on. Well, it effectively got in Munich, and they are affected. They are pretty much unless they get the ball over the top, the Mbappé. I can't really see them doing much damage. Yeah. As good as these stats look. The game should have been done before he came on. Yeah, but that's what Biden would be going back to Germany disappointed when it's only one. Absolutely the disappointed, you know, if someday you offer the one zero before the game, there would have been delighted. But considering how much the ball they had, they'll be disappointed that they're not two or three. I mean, Donald rumor made a mistake for the goal, but he also said had two great saves after that. But the truth is, the front four for bio in the first half and particular. Had they been on any sort of form. This game would have been done at halftime. It just saw harm that some good defendant and per final ball of final decision from that front for Kingsley corps might score the goal. But the amount of times that he beat his defender and then picked the wrong pass, I'll just play the pearl ball. Michelle, this was pretty invisible in the first half. So as dominant as BioWare, I thought they were. Well, in the final thought they were really poor. Frank obviously, in BAPE, the story coming on, but surely a team that's got messy and name are in. It's got to put up some sort of fight, even with the absence of empathy.

"We found it. We found it on the eBay, the original poster for a lethal weapon much better than the one they actually used. Although in real life, I'm not sure president Trump is a little taller than that, but it looks good. I like it. I like it. I'm the old guy with the 6 shooter with the revolver, but that's fine. It's a three 57. It's a serious gun. And of course, the crazy guy is Chris. He's got the M 9. I'm going to just geek out here. The Chris made this poster it's superb. That is our making movies great again, post. I'm gonna geek out because I'm a gun guy. If it's a movie with guns, we're gonna talk guns. Let's put the first gun up. These are the famous guns. No, no, it's in reverse order, all right? Send it. First I want to know, the next one. All right, this is the first gun that stars in the movie. This is in the Christmas tree scene at the beginning. This is what the bad guy holds to Mel Gibson's head, as he says, should the guy shoot the guy. Iconic, I have three of them. It is the Astra terminator, a semi custom gun from the 80s chopped down from a 6 inch, it is a 44 Magnum snobby revolver and it is delightful. A bit heavy, but it is an iconic weapon from the 80s, always dreamt of having one after I saw a lethal weapon. Now I can actually afford to buy guns like this. The next one, this is the one that really, really, let's show Mel. This is the gun that he just made famous. It's the M 9. It is the service weapon of the United States military until recently. This movie made it very, very famous from beretta from Italy. And then, oh my gosh, maybe my favorite scene in the movie when he's in the desert, waiting for the general to save the girl, Mel is lying there in the sand with perhaps the best sniper rifle ever made. The H and K PSG one. Did you

Cristiano Ronaldo Returns to Manchester United

"Twelve years after. He left manchester united's. Cristiano renaldo is back at manchester united. I well that's a good question. I don't know if you meant it rhetorically. But i'll actually answer it. I can't believe it bec-. Because i i don't know i just kinda thought especially in this window after sancho and veron with what united have with what we have been led to believe you know their their financial situation is not. They're not man city. They're not psg so they've got a lot of money they do but like they don't have infinite money no dare in that. They're in that elite spot but they're not in the infinite money spot which is occupied by chelsea manchester city. And but it's amazing to me We spoke just a few days ago. About the limited amount of places that were possibly available for cristiano ronaldo but somehow it united can make this work and it goes to show you that it really is in your pin football right now a battle between a few clubs. That can do this kind of thing.

Why is completely dominant and again question. Their favorites quincy watch an a great performance. Thought gills a frenchman. Where you're happy with what you saw thinks. Tv summed up. Well i am worried at times but the lack of depth because they play with the diamond midfield and greece has at ten behind then when they moved to four three three where they don't have divorce which is far more balanced to defend and to try to get the ball by the food box will have to do a lot of work and be very present why to use dot dot whipped lack of whip nov depth of in the first half at times. It was very central. In those interchange. We're talking about how great sometimes it's easier to defend than if you use the width of the page. So the food box will have to do that. Because there's no lingers in the team. Of course i thought that was a really good thing that could have should have scored more. It's very good for who to school to even if he probably won't style against germany we time looked a little bit frustrated when he came off with ten minutes to go or something because he didn't school again but agrees men defensively the four in a row without conceding so we have always been bit of flan bit of magic with broadband and go to contact coming back in the team as well. He came out late from the from the dressing room on purpose. You went on his own with two of the fitness coaches and some some little bits of running. Didn't take any racecar anything like this but didn't join at all the rest of the squad and that's a big rory. They would make a decision tomorrow probably early afternoon and see how he feels he weapons after the night base a big concern for patino huge concern and i can tell you from their respective. I guy who depends on his speed. He's athleticism fast twitch muscles if he's got a cab that has a strain in it tightness or whatever you wanna call it and however you want to describe it. It's not good. I'm by not good. I mean he's not ready to play. I don't care how they dress this up if indeed this is a strain if indeed there is an injury. They're miracles don't happen player ones. That happens you cannot rely on your leg to do the things that that you're used to doing. And that changes that change of pace which embiid depends on depends on that how explosive that leg is and can you push off and the woman that you push off and a cab. That is not healthy.
