"The heck is monkeypox and do we actually need to worry about this? Well, look, I think now that there's been community spread, it may be hard to fully snuff this out. I don't think it's going to become a major epidemic because this is a virus that's difficult to spread. You need sustained close contact or contact with the open sores, but there's so many cases now that are disconnected. This is spreading in the community. And it may be a lot more infection in what we're picking up. It has a long incubation period upwards of 21 days, so they may be a lot of people currently incubating the virus is probably a lot of people who went undiagnosed or misdiagnosed because doctors aren't looking for it. And given the fact that we found so many disconnected cases, it does suggest that the spread right now is pretty wide. That concerns me. I mean, this is what is this thing? What happens if you get it? Well, look, it could be dangerous. You know, the case fatality rate for the particular strain that seems to be spreading is anywhere from one to 4% is particularly dangerous in immune compromised individuals, people who are vulnerable. It's also, you know, sort of a disabling virus that could last two to four months. You know, you get fever, lymphadenopathy, and the sort of prodrome phase, a lead up phase. Then you develop these vesicles that class anywhere from two to four weeks. So, you know, it's a significant virus. I don't think it's going to be widespread in terms of an epidemic that we've seen in the order of COVID for sure. But we could get low level spread it just becomes hard to snuff out. There are anywhere from 5 to 10,000 cases a year in the DRC, so there are countries where this is endemic. And it's not infrequent. And now that it's spreading in the community here in Western Europe and parts of the United States, it appears to be have gotten into this country. Again, it could be hard to fully snuff out. We're not going to mass vaccinate for it. They're going to try to ring vaccinate using the vaccinia virus vaccine. That's not a vaccine. A lot of people are going to want to take. So it could be hard to deploy public health measures to try to get a handle on this. That's the concern, not a widespread epidemic here at this point, but this just low level persistent spread, cases popping up here and there, outbreaks. That could be, you know, a risk to individuals and certainly a headline risk. Hey, Scott, I just wanted to go back to the issue of COVID peaking, at least in the northeast right now. A number of big corporations in New York City planning or we're planning to bring people back full-time oftentimes 5 days a week in the office. Some of them scaling that back, some not apple on the other coast, of course, reversing its plan a little bit. What are you advising CEOs in this moment over the next two or three weeks about how they should be approaching this for those dare I say white collar workers who are in the office either with a mask on or not when the mask on and also sort of how you see testing in this environment working or not working. Look, I would say, look, watch the numbers. I mean, if the proposition that this is going to be, this isn't going to be a big wave of infection this summer's right. And we're going to see declines as we get into the warm and minus. You should see week over week declines right now in New York. You're seeing that in Connecticut, New Jersey. So you're seeing it in the tri state region. You want to see continued declines. I think if we were two weeks from now and we've seen sustained declines in infections, that means the risk really has subsided. And I think people can go ahead with those kinds of plans, but I would watch the data unfold. You know, that's really going to be the key here. If you continue to see rises in cases in the tri state region or it doesn't level off and you see pick up of infection elsewhere in the country, I think that second possibility that there is going to be a wave of infection this summer starts to become more realistic. Again, I don't see that unfolding. I think a lot of people are skeptical of that model when you talk to folks in and around CDC. But it is a model out there and we need to take it seriously. Hey, Scott, thank you. Obviously, if we appreciate everything, appreciate hearing from you. And as much as I miss you, I'm kind of glad we don't have to talk to you every day now. Thanks a lot. I'm Andrew Sorkin along with Becky quick and Joe kernan. Let's talk about this next story because I think this is the same issue of people wanting to get out. We've been talking about rising prices. There's a really interesting piece in The Wall Street Journal today about rising rates for teen babysitters. After two years of staying home with their kids, parents are returning to office jobs and social lives and they are competing for part time babysitters. They want to get out, want to go out on the weekends. And amid this tight labor market, teens are getting better snacks. They're getting asked to do fewer chores while they're there. And they are commanding much better rates. The piece cites numbers from care dot com that said average rates per hour rose to $18 and 5 cents, that's up from just $14 and 72 cents in 2020. It also cites anecdotal evidence of rates up to $30 an hour in some places and guys I can't say the surprises me at all on the mother's chat list that we have in our town. There's always people somebody saying, anybody got a sitter. I need one tonight urgently. People trading back and forth. And yes, I would assume these teens can ask for just about anything. You saw the quote. Sushi. Order whatever you want for dinner. Right. Sushi. You get the combination. And you can have anything you want the liver now. So you literally think because we have all of the services. He's literally could order anything. I used to make $2 an hour as a babysitter. Two. Two, I think sometimes they pay me three and even up to 5, but I only would charge $2. They'd pay me more because I do dishes and stuff. Babysitters you splurge. Can't you splurge on? Because you want one that you want when you trust. Yeah. I can remember that. And that's it for today. "For your knees, those hocus sneakers, Becky quick. It's like running on yoga mats. It's really good. It gives you lots of cushion. Coca? Coca coca one ones. There's nothing attractive about those sneakers, but if I could just wear them all day long. They look like they were chewed up by a dog and they're selling those. I saw those last weeks. I can help you out. What are those called? Golden goose. I think, can I say this aloud? I think that women can wear golden goose sneakers. I think men should not. Probably not. I don't know. Probably wouldn't say that. I don't even know if I'd say a woman. Is it like, is it like stop defining it? Shredded jeans, you know, torn up holy. I know exactly what it's like. Exactly what it's like. Can I just talk about Palo Alto? That was a big beneficiary, obviously, it got the 6 30, so it's a great result today, but it's all the way down at four. Four 37. Now one thing I know about naked is brilliant. Yeah. But the other thing, he hits the ball so far. Oh, on the golf course? Yes. I mean, he's such a incredible golf. I haven't played with him a couple times, but that was a real bright spot. For earnings this week. Yeah, it's been a rough day. That's my contribution, though. He hits it really, really far. And really straight. Next, on squawk pod. Uh oh, what the heck is monkeypox? Doctor Scott gottlieb joins us on whether we should worry about it. COVID positivity rates climbing across the country up more than 50% from two weeks ago, research shows one third of those in the U.S. live in areas of rising infection and the death toll among Americans has surpassed one million people. Thankfully, the mortality rate of COVID-19 infection has plummeted due to vaccines and treatment, but the virus, well, it just isn't done with us yet. The Biden administration urged Americans this week to put COVID-19 personal protection measures back in place and concerns are hitting corporate America too. Apple is reportedly delaying its plan to bring employees back to the office after two plus years of remote work, originally they'd planned for a three days a week schedule to kick off on May 23rd, and that is this Monday. Good news, though, for kids, the CDC has signed off on Pfizer's booster shot for children aged 5 through 11. But if you feel like you've gotten a handle on COVID, you've got to supply that home tests, you're making choices based on your own personal risk. Don't worry, 2022 has a new virus spread for you. Monkeypox, new cases of that virus were reported in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and the U.S. this week, which is rare considering it's usually confined to central and western Africa. The first case of monkeypox here in the U.S. was reported in Massachusetts, which authorities are taking seriously. The patient was placed in an airborne infection isolation room in our special pathogens unit. We're using gowns, gloves, and 95 respirators and eye protection. I would emphasize that historically this has been a very rare disease with very rare transmission around the world. People should not be afraid of monkeypox right now. The current patient is of no public health risk right now. And there's a possible case in New York City as well. Luckily, we've got our own trusty doctor Scott gottlieb former FDA commissioner and our guide through this pandemic still on speed dial. Here's Becky. Scott, let's start with COVID. This is one that's going to impact a lot more people. At least at this point, COVID back on the rise, hotspot's in the northeast, the expectation that it may come back in the south at some point too. I hear the guidelines and the recommendations, I don't see any places that are really putting back any of these mass requirements or stay at home things. Yeah, look, I think that's right. It's going to be hard to get compliance with these kinds of requirements. Here in the northeast, it does appear, and it has appeared for a couple of weeks now that cases were peaking that this B two wave has sort of run its course. It's now spreading to other parts of the country. You look at parts of the Midwest, Minnesota, the Great Lakes region, Wisconsin, Michigan. Also the mid Atlantic, San Francisco, Miami, and in the population centers in the Pacific Northwest, you are seeing rising numbers of cases. There's two schools of thought right now. One is a model at The White House was shown about a week ago that shows that we're going to have a wave of infection. This summer from this B two variant peaking at 400,000 cases a day. That was a model developed by the Department of Health and Human Services. There's other people, including myself who believe that this B two wave is going to start to decline as we get into the warmer months that we're going to have a relatively low prevalence somewhere like we've had these last two summers and then we're going to have to contend with one of these variants come this fall. But that this wave will shortly pass. And it does seem to be peaking here in the northeast. So it's unclear. We have not had a wave of infection in any summer. It's hard to imagine why we would have it in this summer and notwithstanding the fact that this is a more contagious variant. There's a lot of immunity in the population, people who were recently infected with B one should have pretty good protection for the foreseeable future vaccination rates are higher at this point. So we should get a seasonal backstop and this should dissipate, but there are two schools of thought right now in terms of what the outlook is and it is a bit uncertain. It's got the news yesterday from the CDC, just the idea that you should be giving a booster shot to your kids ages 5 to 11. I look at that and they think, well, I don't know, do I really want to do that as we're heading into summer if I think that it's going to be a bigger issue in the fall? Well, look, I think people need to judge their circumstance. I know a lot of camps are going to require the booster shot for children to come to camp. You know, if you do get a booster now, it's going to afford you 5, 6 months of protection, probably children will be eligible for the new variant booster sometime late this fall. It's not going to be initially eligible. They're not going to be initially eligible for it. So the sequencing does work out in terms of getting a shot now and then getting a shot in the late fall. That might be reformulated to protect better against omicron. Parents are going to have to make an individual decision. A lot of parents have made the decision not to vaccinate that 5 to 11 year olds only about 28% of kids 5 to 11 have received at least one dose and even fewer have received both doses. So after Thanksgiving, we saw rise in vaccination rates heading into Thanksgiving then after Thanksgiving it really fell off and we haven't seen a pickup in vaccination of 5 to 11 year olds. What about hospitalizations? It seems like things have gotten so much milder that maybe more parents have concerns about vaccinations versus hospitalizations from COVID. Is that the right way of thinking about things or not? Well, look, hospitalizations are down in many parts of the country, although you are seeing them pick up now in the mid Atlantic and the northeast because there is a lot of infection around. I think a lot of the mildness from this new omicron variant. Some of it is the inherent mildness of this particular strain. But a lot of it's driven by the fact that there's a lot of immunity in the population and people who are getting infected now are people who've been exposed to this in some fashion either they've been previously infected or they've been vaccinated or both. So they're not immune naive individuals. Some children still are immune naive. Now, CDC put out data saying upwards of 75% of kids have been previously infected with COVID. I think that's probably high. But there are kids who still are immune naive, their kids who are vulnerable and for them vaccination could be very important. Good to know. What.

Barry Meguiar and Eric Talk Cars

"A lot of people in the car business and the car world, no Barry Maguire. You're a car guy. I'm a car guy. Hey, you know what? So are you? You just did. I'm only coming to our guy because I've become friends with you. About cars. You know, your car crazy jeans. Yes. Yes. No, but it is interesting because that's how you're made. That's how you're known to a lot of people and you know a lot of people in the car world. I mean, anybody who's in the car world, I think, knows you, but it started in what? 1901. 1901, my grandfather started making a furniture polish, and he was obsessed with creating a perfect finish in black lacquer furniture. It happens over half the horses carriage manufacturers in the United States more than a 150 of them were in Indiana. They all painted their horses carriages with black lacquers. Okay, you know what? This is the backstory that even I have not heard. This is fascinating. In 1901, yeah. Your grandfather. Yes, praying. Was obsessed with creating the perfect reflection. Clear reflection. But was it wax or lacquer one? No, he wouldn't use wax. He used it. He was against using wax. You just want to create a policy to create this perfect perfect but reflection. But for furniture or for horse carriages. For furniture, he was, he was focused on furniture, but you see the horses carriages, and he was in the state where most of them were being made, they painted their carriages with black lacquer. And so without his permission, they took the furniture polish and it started becoming a carriage pod. That's how we got in the car wax business. I mean, God didn't do it. Barry, I gotta tell you, I love that because I've not heard that story. Because people forget that once upon a time, there were these things called carriages and horses pulled them. And then suddenly they became horseless carriages. And we don't even think about that

"Here It just seems like this ongoing fear porn campaign by left this all over the world here Australia the UK All over the world that this fear porn campaign over coronavirus has been very useful I was scrolling through your social media feed before the show and you had a great tweet You're like listen man I've been living my life for like two years haven't had it yet great whatever but you know I'm just doing my thing You know you guys can live in fear if you want but I've only got one shot at this whole life thing And that's it So I applaud you for doing your thoughts on the whole fear porn thing Well okay so again if we're talking about it in the ugly context there's not a great diversification or Australian media So here you actually have the ability to have the damage you to show You have the ability to have the blaze and all these other platforms Australia's what 27 million people which is around 15 times less the population size of the United States So the diversification of ideas that all these have access to there's not a great deal of them So obviously if you have the majority of the media telling you how horrifying everything is they're going to participate in that And yeah I'm assuming we're in the same boat here where I've just gone to the last two years I personally have been like what am I doing This is so dumb I'm not putting a mask on I'm not going to live in the pod and eat the bugs I'm not doing any of this stuff But I think the problem is that when you have politicians and the media and all these other entities telling you day in and day out how horrifying everything is If you're not someone who's super tuned into what dissenting voices are saying you're probably going to buy into it And I feel bad for those people because there is a lack of capacity and society to think outside of the same old status quo talking points And so I PD people rather than feel mad towards them like I was feeling for a hot second

"China is not an enemy. And I think that's important for people to clearly understand. China is a rising power, China has been a rising power since Deng Xiaoping in 79. And they are going to develop themselves in our developing themselves into a great power. That is not to say, however, that they are an enemy. They're not an enemy. They're just a great power. That's according to the chairman of the joint chiefs when he was speaking in his private capacity as chief of staff of the army. The NATO summit, maybe that explains a lot about Mark Billy. They're not particularly high maintenance. They grow well in a lot of different regions and their beans which are in general. A good thing to and so people ate a lot of them. It isn't early crowd that is recognized and becomes part of what is known as the classical grains. so we know that soybean is not actually green but it was treated as sort of staple food similar to weet As well as rice it was a staple yes but it was only a staple out of necessity. Like wendy said. The mature soybean has some issues more so even than many of its fellow colleagues. It causes pretty intense gas innocent flatulence and even though like all means it's packed with protein. It also contains a chemical that means our bodies kant really process that protein but there is a way around the protein blocking problem and at least a little of the flatulence problem and that is to boil the crap out of mature

Black Garlic: An Amazing Health Powerhouse!

"This week. We're talking about black garlic black garlic interesting. Yeah most people have probably heard of just regular fresh garlic with it's very strong smell and taste and it's crack kinda crunchy when you need it but Black garlic Is can a different. It's it actually. Is fresh raw garlic. That has been fermented so it changes through this fermentation process and actually turns a black color. And that happens through something called the molly yard. Reaction is basically when the like natural carbohydrates within a food start to change as they are exposed to heat and they kind of caramelizes. So it's kind of like you know. Mad reaction is when you caramelized onions or when you fried potatoes or something you see the the sweeter tastes. Come out when you do that. So is it for minted. The black garlic is actually fermented. And that's what makes it different. And what's really interesting is this fermentation process brings out more antioxidants than just regular fresh garlic. Oh no kidding yeah. It's it's actually not all that different than when you take a rock cow like raw chocolate and it usually undergoes a fermentation process and that brings out the the taste and flavour of chocolate. Which isn't really present or noticeable in just the raw like if you just opened up a cow fruit and took one of the little beans out and ate it. You wouldn't really taste chocolate one but the normal way that Cacao beans are prepared prepared. Is that the first step is to ferment. Them so they usually they do that in the right in the rainforest where they grow and they just scoop them all out of the pods and then they cover it up in With banana leaves. And then they let it ferment. With garlic it's done a little bit more Like a regular commercial process of doing that. So what what it does is it's It's fermented for a period of time under a high temperature and under a high humidity so the humidity is going to be about eighty to ninety percent humidity. Which is the moisture. And then the temperature is going to be between one hundred and forty and one hundred ninety four degrees fahrenheit which is about sixty to ninety degrees celsius and so it is kept this usually for like a few weeks and in the process. "Jack thank you for joining the bonds today. Welcome it is truly great to have you here on the show. it's great. What is the story behind your third studio album propaganda man that was released in july of two thousand nineteen. I was a little. And i'm deliberately not exaggerating too much but i was starting to get concerned about The level of propaganda. That's going around the world today And so i started to write like a kind of related series of songs about the propaganda and the people that exploited the people that are exploited by And you know six months later. I had songs for an album. So they put out the album propaganda man With the help of sometimes collaborator gary tanin. Who assisted me with mixing and mastering the album. And i think within a couple of weeks somebody have the video of the song propaganda man. So that's that's in the works and really tight about that awesome gary. Gary was involved with this project. Jesus did either my mastering. Because we're we're working rotary week. We can all get together. I was just like impractical to send him all the tracks. So i mix it myself and sometimes collaborator gary tanin who assisted me with mixing and

The Geologic Record: The Phanerozoic Eon

"Fenner azoic is divided up into three eras the paleozoic the mesozoic and the senate zoellick the first period in the paleozoic is the one you might have heard of the cambridge in the cambrian is noted for the sudden appearance of complex lifeforms and animals in the fossil record. This is known as the cambrian explosion. Here's where you'll see many of the trial bites which are really common fossils in fact the appearance of trial bites pretty much defines where the cambrian appears in the geologic record all complex life that we know of in the cambrian was in the see. Nothing yet had come onto land of all the periods. I'll be going over. This is one of the most important to have a grasp on it spans. About fifty five million years from five hundred forty million years ago to about four hundred eighty five million years ago after the cambridge incomes the division period it lasted for forty one million years and went from four hundred and eighty five million years ago to about four hundred forty. Four million years ago it's noted for its continued by diversification fish first appeared during this period and probably the first fish with jaws. These were the first vertebrate animals. There still wasn't any animal life on land yet in order vision that we know of there were lots of volcanoes in meteors during this period as well by some estimates over one hundred times the number of meteor strikes that the earth experiences today the next period is the celerion it goes from four hundred and forty million years ago to four hundred nineteen million years ago what separates the division and the celerion is the or division celerion extinction event. This is the first of the major extinction events in earth's history and the second largest in terms of the number of species that disappeared from the fossil record. The celerion sees the appearance of the very first vascular plants on land as well as the first arthur pod type creatures on land. I should also note that as we get closer to the present the information we have become better the divisions in time become more. Precise and there are more subdivisions. Most of which. I'm not going to be going into. After the slurry incomes the devonian which extended from four hundred nineteen million years ago. Two three hundred fifty nine million years

"Zach. Welcome to the show. Thanks for having me longtime listener for caller huge fan of the work. You do good man while look. I've known you for a long time. Virtually and in your honor. I poured myself a glass of mud. Water which we can talk about later but we had the founder on the podcasts. I'm trying to remember about a year ago. Attitudes shown links is available. Shane's awesome fun story listeners. It's basically a mushroom coffee. Turn it yvonne. And i have sort of an issue. Which is i love coffee but like to my detriment. So i've been trying to go kinda half mud. Half coffey as a segue to not drinking a pod today in the morning. And it's working so far it's a nice blend so that's awesome. We'll come back to later. We're gonna talk about all things. Angel investing entrepreneurship wing foiling all sorts of odds and ends. You got a pretty say if there is a traditional path for angel or vc. You kind of have it right. It's the founder who starts out doing some companies and eventually start investing. Was that sort of the right path through yet. The only differences the traditional half is your founder start companies. You make of money and then you take that money and he wants to do with it and you start. Throwing things doesn't angel and my experience was founder starts in companies have facebook ripped my guts out and leave me dead in bleeding on the side of the streets and sort of like as i was crawling around trying to figure out what to do with my life. And like what your next i mean. I literally got gut. It is crazy Tell the story was crazy stories. I stumbled into back in two thousand fifteen the very beginning of angel angels syndicates and one of the companies that i had been advising for a long time a company branch metrics mobile deep linking platform and Ben arison who introduced mea through the seed and men when it happened. You guys mind if. I put a two hundred allocation angel. Listen see what happens. And they were like sure. Go for it inside like wrote the memo by awesome. Can Ben Simmons Be Saved From Philly?

"You may remember our guest here from page to espn's page to. bill simmons. Now has his own podcast. Yeah and each walk into this now but soviet i actually i wanted to talk about ben simmons. 'cause i'm doing football the next couple of pods on my pod and i just have like a twenty minute. Ben simmons conversation me that might you know expire a. I don't know what the time sensitivity is on it. Who knows something happened over the weekend. But i'm just so fascinated by this story. And i don't even remember if it has a payroll and recent mba history again. That's where you always. I think kind of lap the rest of the historical perspective of like. Hey this is happening. It's newsy we've got all these tidbits rumors that we're going to get to and in who's in charge of the steel but historically what we're talking about with somebody this young this many years left on the deal and basically saying hey you guys think i suck anyway. So what's the point. And then the threatening holdout thing which i had heard about about a month ago. Yeah it was met with kind of indifference like all right. Go ahead hold out man But we don't know so why don't you take it in any direction. You think the headline part of this story is right now. The headline part of the story. Is i think both sides have a right to just want to move on from this right and i think everybody else unfortunately knows that for the two sides but you have this starts when they try to trade him for harden you know and you could make simmons the bad guy you can make clutch the bad guy. There's all kinds of takes. You can do with this but it starts when they try to trade him for harden and when you try to trade somebody you go down the road you actually think you got him which i think both of us had until that day that harden was going affiliate was the rap and simmons knows all this so it starts there. Then you have this kind of embiid's team it's embiid city. He's always resident in that city. More than simmons says she had that piece to you whether those guys get along or not. I don't even think that really matters for

College Football Bets: Week 1

"On. Espn dot com chuck section. I've given them out daily wager. But you know we'll rip through a few here i want to start with. Ecu this numbers come down a little bit. They play thursday night against appalachian state and look. I think he's us live dog. Jay vermont talked about it as well. They have a bunch of veterans including senior quarterback and app. State's been a little shaky as well. And they have a new quarterback and chase. Bryce you might remember him. He played a key. Clemson then transferred to duke ten and a half a lot of points for team that always seems to pull games out of the hat and have crazy place at the end. I like myself getting double digits plus ten right now but still i would out jumping on on ec as long as you get double digits and maybe a little sprinkle on the money line. That could be some fun The came by actually liked the most Kinda scared about it and it's umass and everybody who listen to pod on a somewhat regular basis knows. I'm kind of the betting bully as humans. A frequent guest. Your calls me. I like to bet on bet against bad teams. Just just do it right. Like orioles season win total under. I've certainly bet against umass in the past but thirty eight is just way too many points. And i'll tell you why won't bell and umass went out and got a bunch of transfers. Their quarterback is a six foot five inch from from colorado like the university of and or colorado university of boulder. And they have two running backs that transferred in one from rutgers. So a team that was like. Fcs not too long ago or fcs quality has some real players and you only have to get thirty eight now pits good. But they're at tennessee. The following week nerd uzis not a guy who's going to run up the score. He's old school. Fourth quarter they'll bring in the is a little bit and on top of that. Probably the best handy angle. I have is the offense coordinator for pit is a guy named mark whipple. He's coached umass twice head coach. Also the most recent time was just a few years ago. This is not situation where he wants to embarrass his former program. Umass is a special place in his heart. Whipple's going to call off the dogs as well. So i just think if you can get about two touchdowns even if it's garbage time i think plus thirty eight is the play in. That game is crazy. As it sounds another game. I like is essentially a coin. Flip game and it syracuse minus one. And a half. you might remember. I've talked about it with jay motto. The over three in the win total. They're going to split time at quarterback. Babies made that announcement. I don't love it. I would prefer. Tommy devito to be the entire time but dual threat with michigan state. Sorry mississippi state transfer garrett schrader. They're just better at a lot of positions that ohio but most importantly syracuse addressed. Their offense align issues. There was a pathetic. Offense couldn't even average average about two hundred fifty yards per game. Not passing just total yards per game. The veto would be injured. A lot spent a lot of time on his back. If they're okay on the offensive line this is just a syracuse team. That's just better. No more frank. Solich at ohio. Bob cats will rotate. Quarterbacks curtis rourke. Who's obviously the brother of nathan rourke the former stud bob cats quarterback and then armani rogers transfer from unlv. Ohio's very good. They looked good last year against the too bad teams really bad teams in the mac akron bowling green. But i think use gets there which is better talent especially with vito healthy and maybe we hope and improved offensive line. Fourth play i want to talk about

So that's my classification and you know we'll make a make a syllabus for you guys and you guys can look over that and just really you know dove into it but yeah you know This lonely this podcast. It's a very lonely podcast. It's kinda crazy to think. The covert i started is when i decided to make my podcast to start doing it again because before i was doing audio only and then i stopped stopped because i quit. Because that's what losers do and if you watch the jr pod then you know we only loser around here okay. So that's what we're all about. I mean this this fucking guy. Yeah what a fucking loser. Just getting dash man. You know. I got this. I got this cat. I got this cat like tree thing. It's a mini one. One of my cats did like sit on it route. Podcast and stuff and they have been doing me. No favors by not showing up. They'll they'll come up on my table and try to disrupt everything like the managers. They are but You know. I just keep pushing through. Because that's what i do when you're when you're as educated as educated and just as you know intellectual and just wise and just read and just faulk instead you know then you'll understand because that's what it's like to be me anyways pushing forward moving forward. We've got a few more things to talk about You know oh. I wanna give a shout to roy's podcast. That's our us space podcast. That is another podcast. That i do with me. Good buddy roy and our ally. His name is roy r. o. y. But roi stands for return on investments. It's roi s royce podcast. And and yet we talk a lot about cryptocurrency stocks. You know all the all the shit that will make money right and an thinking about introducing a new segment for because of teas obvious. See huge you guys hear about that. Did you guys hear about that. Kid who like twelve years old. And he's already made two hundred thousand dollars selling and entities. I mean like. I don't even know i didn't even know where start like. I know you're going to open. see i. oh that's the name of like market place for them and you can create your own collection of nfc's and you can also buy other people's nfc's so it's just it's weird man. It's a weird world. We're living in when people are buying. I believe be hundred thousand dollars for a. An tea clipper like so and honesty and basically be anything but it was clipper. that was In this case it was a clip art picture of a rock now. There has now been a collection of these clip art rock's made and go for hundreds of thousands of dollars and there's really no reason to it no reason so what i was thinking. An idea i had was take the maga- hat make america. Great again. take that hat you know. Make it into pixels digit digitize. It made into little pixels and then you know just come up with different shades of those for an nfc collection because eventually that's going to happen and that will be worth a lot you know. Even if you didn't like the guy. I mean the fact that you know you have the nfc up the mag ahead. It's kind of cool right. Got a new phone. What we're recording on right now..

I am female gassed. That is true. So yeah that's pretty. We're going to get some great us guys. I appreciate your feedback and please like and subscribe but also us move on right. Have you ever heard of the dinka tribe all right so there are these. I think it's an africa or might be on an island but they on either hair orange right they don't do it in a normal way. They use calpis to die their hair. They sit under cow only. I swam put a video. They sit under cow and they like shower. Basically it's an ancient ritual performed by the elders but the question is the question is are we going to. Just keep them do this. You know like soon as as soon as we go all someone goes in there like oh install showers for you guys you know will will do some hair dye from kroger. Whatever need okay. But then some social justice where some crew like way over the top like to the point where she is doing this because no one else is covering this thing. You know what i mean. So she's trying to get some publicity or he no. Yeah let's make it a he and he and he's like no no no he runs and he's like no no no. You're you're disrupting this ancient tribes ritual as very respectful and then the people are like the dinka tribe like no no. No we want this. We want you know good hygiene whatever blah blah. The guy insists. He's like no no trust me. You don't know what you're talking about. We're going to solve these showers anyways. Okay we're gonna get rid of these showers at these nice people. Jared pod productions installed for you guys and then and then you know like that like that's the kinda shit that can happen though like if someone goes too far something that like and i bet you that person and is completely hypothetical people but if people crazy enough to where they just want to get attention you know like to make. It seem like they're doing something good. But justice warriors. Okay but not all of them. But that's like that's the thing. That's why i feel weird saying that because it's not also like there are people that are doing good things but also people that are just trying to get fucking publicity. I think i know what you're talking about. I explained that so bad but yet it's like the people who and i no longer people. No no no. We're all about that here. That post on facebook and they go to africa on mission. Trips to take pictures of the kids go home and they continue their lives like nothing ever change right and that is what makes me so mad. Nicole exceed your barbie syndrome. Is that what it's called. Yeah i think so. Damn and that is like the and they live. What makes me angry on facebook. Do they live with those people. Like for a little bit some project in africa or like work on like building an orphanage or like. I don't know go well right or like i don't know just the go. It just like you don't really know what they do because they just go around trading taking pictures willingly as probably just like there's probably like a group of construction people though songs and sing about jesus right right in the face of it but the people that are actually doing the work as a construction company digging the wealthy and they're just running around acting like they're doing higher the construction company. Okay circle and clap extras posted on facebook. Savior barbie's it's like it's so it's so wrong. Why even bother going. Oh yeah like they don't want you there. There's so many more ways that you can make a difference in your local community like flying yourself out to africa like using up first of all that carbon carbon emissions of like going to a place and that is just like itches. I would say it's because they're trying to save them like their souls. I don't know it. Yeah yeah and and it's also like the fuck outta here like these people would you know what if they feel like your cells need to be you know it's just it just like what's wrong classism. In this world the people come in and they like make the black people happy in the may fly back and they don't care just just doesn't feel right and we're very happy to santa. pod debt are most Highest new listeners. Are coming from mexico so thank you very much. My fellow mexicans all right. Yeah thank you. I just want to toss it in there. Because here on jerry pod. I guess we're getting a little hispanic vibe gone But yet i and and also like those same people that are doing that that are going over there and stop what is what. What do they do. I i honestly have no idea. Do i think they like they sing songs. Do they give them food. I assume so. I mean they have to raise a lot of money to go over there individually the plane tickets..

And Chef and sprinkle a little little sulphur on this guy. fucking light a match. Let them burn. Okay. That was really fucked up. But yeah, you know if if you need to get rid of a problem, that's your fucking answer right there. And and something else I'm tired. Of Not hearing about is the Latino community. Mind guys we need to speak up. All right. We need to speak up because. I. Like. It it's just so weird it's like. How how has? For the past four years how has like I? Feel like there was literally. Barely any light shed on. The struggles that Latinos face. And then like whenever they talk about that, they're always including the struggles that black people face, which is fine. But there they always are talking about the shows that black people face. So, why don't we just have a nice segment about? The struggles that you know. Hispanics facing. because. We face some shit to a right. And it's just Someone is to be the voice for the Latinos because we don't have that right now you know what I'm saying. We don't have that. And I'm willing to step up I'm willing to to do this but I need your guys. And my listener from San Jose. Thank you. Don't think I seeing that because I am. And I love it. And that's maybe you saw my snapchat because I did target that snapchat at. Literally based off of you know A. Good portion of. My listeners being from San Jose. So Yeah my biggest thing though is i WanNa have a nice. You know QNA? I want to have people calling in I want want want you guys to be involved in this? In this adventure in this journey of the j Rod pod. Because you know right now, it's you know just a little studio just a humble tied. But you know in a year or two from now. Maybe it'll be. A bigger of a studio and bigger a little bit of a pod. and. Maybe. I'll have a actual tripod because you guys can't see it, but actually put a picture. Rate here while I'm doing this right here, you'll probably be seen a picture and it's going to be of the little the little guy who holds my iphone because I have the iphone that has four K. foaming with three cameras. and. This little guy, he is my. He's my cameraman. He's this little. Monkey with these big is and it's for a phone Stan you know his little arms like this and his feet or out and just hold my camera and it's great. It's great. So. Thank you. Little Monkey. which is be, should we name him? Got A new can his name is Steve? SPEC in my house and we actually rust hurt. The, kitten was found in the fire fire house in Detroit. The same firehouse that my friend, my one of my Best Friends Leo keys. Is a fireman at. And This little Kim just wandered in there, and my sister happened to know one of the fire guys that works with a works at that station he brought up to my sister because he knows that the Teresa's love cats. And so now we got this little guy named Steve just running around our house and he's adorable..

"Really smart girl she's. she's Indian. Not. That that matters but I mean, it's cool. You know chose diversity on the J. Rod. And she was going to be on the Pie, but she can't because she works all day and then she has to go to church. And so Yemen, it's just. This rough rough things right. Rough up things. And it's it's also weird how Girls like if you. Don't show them. Any like. You know like like if you're flirting, that's one thing. But if you're not showing them that you want like you necessarily want you know you're attracted to them or whatever. It makes them more attractive to you and I don't know. I don't know. Here's the thing with guys like. A lot of a lot of people are like I. Don't know people say like well, you gotta play hard to get like guy wants the chase is love the chase and it's just like. Not. Really I want someone. fucking. Cool. That Likes Gerard pod and I can vibe with I don't need you to fuck in be. You know doing all these little shit tests to test my masculinity or test my. You know myself. Confidence or whatever you know because I'm telling you right now if you do that to me, you'd better expect it right back. I will ask you questions don't make you so uncomfortable that you won't even respond, and that's probably why I'm having much luck with the ladies lately. But that's okay we keep pushing well. Actually you know that's why I am having luck with the ladies because female viewership is up a whopping twenty, five percent. So. Any of you ladies out there you know subscribe. And Yeah. This is this is definitely a strange podcast episode right now. and. It's really weird seeing a bunch of you know like I go to eastern Michigan Right. And it's very lot like very liberal issue here. kind of like you then. And It's funny because like right across Lily right across my window, the street from me. There's this guy he's a semi truck driver. and. He just an old dude he seems like a fine man but. He has a huge flagpole in his. Man That's creepy. On okay. anyways. Yeah. So he has this huge flagpole up in is yard and. Like had the American flag and then one day I saw him out there in the morning just. Pulling up the trump flag just funny to see you know. Because it's like. This one guy in an area surrounded by people who hate him hate, trump Speaking of trump. That debate. The fuck was up with that. I mean I. Didn't I don't remember a single. Word that Joe. Biden said. I didn't even hear him. Do you even say anything? Because I couldn't hear him. And but trump I. heard him..

"What's going on guys and welcome back to another very exciting episode of j Rod Pot Nitrogen see the Mike is a new Mike normally there's a mic over here. Guess what now it's over here and I like it a lot more I think kind of get used to it But yeah. So that's tested. Why don't we? Now know. Yom wants me ooh yeah. Emam Mama wants me boy who? ooh. I think were twelve. A K., and we are back rod pardons. So today's you know I was supposed to have a very special dear friend of Mine Danny McCarthy on today but last night I went out drinking with You know my sister and. Her friend, WHO's also my friend that? Actually made the cover art for Gerard pod. And Yeah I. Was Super Hung over this morning? And I didn't have any food in my stomach so. I was in I was just kind of sitting in the bathroom all curled up you know. You know I don't know I just felt so exposed to to the world so I wanted to be safe and. I was sweating profusely. And they're all sudden. You know I feel like I got to throw up so I go and I. Turn on the shower. just because I don't want to have my head in the toilet you know what I mean like. You know what the fuck is. Am I getting a fucking swirly. I'm not doing that. So I turn on the shower and all of sudden I start. Dry heaving and I mean like the people above me. They probably were like what? What is going on down there with that guy, is he? Should we call someone? And Anyway, so for about three minutes I'm like. It's is horrible. AM finally. A little something comes out. And little something. WAS, so? Cute. It was actually a little pink blob had little face. Said Hey, and it slipped down the drain. And those last time I saw that little guy but now I feel fine after he left me so. So. Here we are. So this is probably the first episode that you guys are seen the new Mike i. like it.

"You are ruining show. And this is why Jared Palmer productions is actually looking for an intern. Okay. preferably small. four nine. Maximum of five one. cute. You know not like sexually but like. You know on the little Burrito or something like that. You know that kind of cute and awkward because I don't want some confident strapping young gentleman to come into here and show me up. There is lasting to change Rodney right now. Speaking of. Strapping. Young. Gentlemen. I actually just got right before I started recording. I received a phone call from a strapping young lad named Harry. Dyson, you may know him. And he calls me up. And he asked me to borrow. To borrow my mask. You WanNA bomb. Okay. Sure. Yeah I guess. Might borders. Keep. It So that's exactly what I. Let him do a let them keep. If you're listening right now. You know what she did. You know was strategically planned. fucked. Up All right. Here we dyson. Sorry to interrupt guys but we've got a quick moment for our sponsor anchor. You know if you've ever thought about starting your own podcast, it's really simple as you can see, I, have my own and it's on a bunch of different listening platforms sue breezy. All right. You just gotTa go with anchor. Anchor is a one stop shop for recording, hosting and distributing your podcast. Best of all, it's one hundred percent three ridiculously easy to use. You got the IT's easy to use stop being such a stupid person. and. Now, anchor can match you with great sponsors want to advertise on your podcast, which is which is happening right now. Well, I guess they paired me with them, but you know whatever, and that means you can get paid to podcast right away. In fact, that's what I'm doing right now by reading this Ed Yup. Yeah it's really great. All right. You guys need. Check it out. GO TO ANCHOR DOT FM slash start. To start. Your own podcast. What's going on guys and welcome back to another exciting episode of Rod Pod now, and what you guys are thinking didn't he already say this? Yes, I did but guess what I? got. Busy. Yesterday. And I only filmed half of this. So here we go. Okay. Now, I believe what I was talking about yesterday. was a lot of different stuff but. I think I left off with the ants, right? The little march of the ants those fucking assholes. So you know, there's there's a lot. There's a lot of different different things going on right now I had to wake up super early you guys ever like You know. Go to bed at night and feel like you're asleep then you kind of keep waking up. Every hour or something or maybe you weren't even asleep. and. You know maybe. Maybe, your mom was just playing tricks on you and wake up. And you can't keep your eyes open. All guys that's how I feel right now. But. You know. Something that. Really Angers me for some reason is going on snapchat and seeing all the you know the stories like the main stories, not your friends, but like the ones that are featured I guess. I hate. E. You know. I don't I. Think IT'S MSNBC whatever their thing for snapchat. And there's this dude does Mainga he has blond her I'm sure you've seen him and there's always like that Ed. At the end. It's like. Are you registered to vote swipe up and is just like dude? Shut the fuck up. All right. When news stations are so obvious about you know being one on one side just like Dude, how are we supposed to take anything that you say negatively about you know for example, but this new station happens to be A. Democratic thing. Which is fine if not every single time they talked about. Donald trump they. You, know. Didn't. Make him you know they have these like memes or whatever of this guy like saying something and then like. The way that they're reacting to something that he did or said even if it really wasn't that bad, you know like something that's not really. You know. I guess. Because he does say some fence shit. So something that's not offensive. You know if it's just a random thing, it's like they'll take what he said and make me out of it and I am tired of fucking hearing that. Okay. I just want. Real News. I don't WanNA listen to what your subjective thought or opinion on this thing is okay I want to hear what actually happened and I want to hear how he actually said it. I. Don't want you to rewind. You know five times to make twenty. That's not what I watch you guys for. I want humor. I'll tune into girod pod. But if I want news Shots I mean. I guess we all might be having to tune into the garage pod which leads me to talk about my next point, and that is at the J. Rod pod is. You know. It's it's really a magical thing. And if you hear anyone talking shit about the pot, I would. Expect you know. you know as being a fellow Rod Party and I would expect that you would stand up for your favorite podcast. Okay. because. I know. That I would stand up for you. I would stand up for you. In something else that are you know? Just kind of. Strange was I was in a discussion board. And you know I don't have. I'm not one of those kids that puts my actual profile picture on my name. You don't need to know me you don't need to see me. Unless, I allow it. And so you know they can't see me. And I forget what the question was, but we're talking about Aj. and. This girl comments she's like. I'm sure you know like Oh. Yeah. One I'm definitely sure that you know you've probably faced discrimination whatever it's like. Not Really. I haven't. I'm sure other people but not me. One why? Tell you why. Because A. I look pretty much white. But looks can be sneaky. Because I'm Mexican. And then. You know also. Maybe. Maybe there has been some discrimination towards me, but I just haven't noticed because it must have not been to prevalent in whatever. was going on you know..

Line of like ten MOMS with their grocery carts folded the top with stuff and then. And then you go from air outside to either hundred degrees in pants or in the winter before the Dr- The parking lot of shoveled pushing Carson and then you just go right back to that. Oh, I met so many people that work in the Deli in the bag and stuff like that Shit Ellie yet do you just you just meet a bunch of cool people intelligence and somewhere were they just caught net salon Let's go girls stuff two. Girls and yeah, there's a lot of work. sachse sliced my fucking piece hang. Up Charge, you wouldn't even notice. But a lot of. The first day like I like I. Like win in the bag. And Mike, I got a farmer, the coup like I got to find someone to be home. I can't just work at this job at Nabi Frenzy only not swag side like winning the back and they're just a bunch of like Ole digits standard on the back I'm like boys. Reach I don't even know him. He's like, do you WanNa see something funny list of share and he's got a bullet hole in his bashes. Got Xiao like doing this or whatever. Like what did he look like? He was six five, the old white dude probably three fifty. Huge Man. Was He was he was he? Felt it. It wasn't any muscle. No. Fat People. Naturally have all. Buscher he's a butch lugging around three hundred pounds you have to be. Really. Dangerous I might not all right and then we figured out like that was when I was into Jordan. Head and he was in sneakers. So we would just always talk about sneakers chill like that energy say dude, probably thirty five he is older and you're just like me like you just make friends with like a sixty year old dude you know you just it's weird going in working especially as a young kid because if you're like per shot was talking people, you end up finding yourself like. I have personal conversations, people my age. Now this is like a forty year old person. Yeah and you're still but like year becoming acquaintances friends. Exactly you're like Holy Shit like, but it's also just mutual respects. Yeah. It's true like that will be the. MOMS groceries or like you sweet. Talk Them Up. Like girls. Like girls. David with their parents and I would just be like Oh like obey their groceries like just like talk to him she's got a nice. All. GonNa be eating. Eating. She gets a big old cucumber because your. Pitch. That's To grasp start is now did some people take their bag grocery bagging really seriously like you can't fuck it up. It's way less show you. That's what did you talk to the dudes? Bushes have guys from any other has shears. Here's readers. greeters. Not. So they always give the jobs like I feel like bows greeter like the job to someone. Well, they have two older can't really are now kind of, but someone mentally his here's what I'm saying. I mean like I needed it like as far as I love how other employed. All great but it's like for the most part like that's the one thing that they're going to be able to do and they're not only they're going to excel at it. As far as you see all these like mental disabilities that have unusually some people can still be social. For even if it's just thirty seconds of hi Hello, whatever Position where they're going to thrive at. Maybe. Causing issues being a cashier or it's like maybe even like you wouldn't want one of you and want somebody straining their back trying to fucking like box I put some box up on a shelf like that because they just don't know your there's girl there's this girl who I forget what her name was but she. In this book called mastery by Robert Greene he he writes about this girl and she she was Chat Down's syndrome I thing or something like that, and she was like a farm girl kind of right and. She really loved cows and they used to end. So they used to put these things in our cows like before slaughter or whatever, and they just used to put them in the horrible shitty things, right? Yeah. She came up with this staying where because for her she enjoyed it, she enjoyed being pressed like like enclosed like that like in a confined space confined space made it feel like safe or whatever and Chanted up doing the same thing for. Apparently, collars, it works the same way they liked that as well feeling like messing impress. So it would relax them rather than having to push them down this. fucking. Like shoot thing to be slaughtered or whatever. So it was just like I don't know I feel like if they took people that have mental problems and they found something. They found something that they are. Really good at. I think you know I think you're totally correct should be a program. You're right and I think I think now we're finally getting on the cutting edge to where we can make that kind of reality because as far as like imagine forty years ago a few of somebody with down syndrome, WHO's like super interested in like. God I'm trying like maybe like dude there maybe submarine engineer. No, but say like summary Engineer and let's say they're really passionate about some arranging but they grow up in the middle of Nebraska and this is before they had the Internet. This is like they would have no opportunity to be able to go. But now we have the option. So we can give him the information to be able to study shit like that and be able to actually Doodo I. saw this video on. Guiding them. Exactly, and that's like, and now it's easier than ever. It's something that we should be doing i. saw this one dude, he has down syndrome. You could say a date and then he would tell you on that day like what score the Yankees was who they played, who is the starting pitcher in the whole lineup like any day if I'm a bookie if I'm a book that doesn't leave.

Number One, if you could do one thing in your life like as a career, what would it be and take some time? I can tell you mine professional golf minds a wack too because it would be professional off because there's a lot of incentive. The is because like you go to a turn like let's say like, what do you love about it? What is the thing that attracts you just did the like mentally it's GonNa Drain. Your ass or clan four straight rallies mateen. Let's say you're like plan for Sharon's eighteenth going to drain your you're GonNa fear who are mentally. Second let's say you win I don't know three tournaments a year that's fifteen million dollars a year I could I could invest fifteen million dollars a year and never have to work in a little play. Another year evolves fifteen million but I mean if I mean like if you one, the last one be. Okay, let's say you went five if you would. Our on. This sales. Okay. Let's say. Three million dollars that's the militia GonNa make doing this job and even though like, yeah how many cuts do you have to make to make million dollars? I WanNa say it's gotta be I mean if you make, it's like fifty. K. If you make it in at the bottom okay. Let's say you make the cut you finish twenty fifth you've finished thirteenth finish twenty, the CAP for. The cap for any of these careers, five years, million dollars so you have to choose it based off. The Golf I just love golf a ton about the money from have. If I can make it right now I think I would say basketball just because I think the. Disk I love football. It's probably my favorite sport but as far as just right now, I got nothing to do go who and just learning figuring out and it's somebody who Can have it's just like such a great game. It'd be. It'd be sweet though it would be what about you give me a bucket is. A professional. Comedian. I love. Joy I love Sandra that's what I want I love Santa I. Want It. So fucking Sony. Hours. Do, you should come with. With needed the from the COP, next time you're on our up. You should. Do as a spectator and then, and then you can record me and I can record. You can perfect each other's sensitive I'm serious. I mean do San. I. GotTa write jokes my humor's more situation me. You have nothing to do in this. I have at least twenty pages I had written since it's coordinated. Yeah. What am I going to do like Seinfeld most comedians copy other comedians wouldn't as far as historic. Here's the thing that you can have two jokes for some. Comedy podcast Yeah Okay. So they talk a lot about like certain ones. Especially Joey is the Church of what's happening. He talks a lot about like. Developing Your Voice and Shit as. Because Dude every single comedian voice is so different. Some are like they, it's like. You know here's the here's the setup, and then here is that you know what I mean like the punchline and then it's like it's like they have a very good point of view very intelligent or they're funny was how they are building Bill Hicks was he was a phenomenal comic and he was very good at doing that like he had a point of view was. Oh By. Patty do. An and anchors for you. Thanks for listening to the Jacob pod guys sorry for the interruption so There's just a quick little shout out to our sponsor anchor anchors a one stop shop for recording, hosting and distributing your podcast. Best of all it's one hundred percent free and ridiculously easy to use. Now Anchor Mesh with great sponsors who want to advertise on your podcast that means you can get paid to podcasts right away. In fact, that's what I'm doing. Now by reading this Ad. Oh No. Don't but the the. Love Anchor, and a you're. Looking at it from a completely different angle. But then there's also storyteller comedians who like tell funny stories and Shit Yeah you have people like I mean just. Like I can, I can ride off fifteen comedians that make a lot of money by just telling stories or personal experience. How they have their boys now they do builds lers bill burr. I Love Burt Dude I. Love Joe Rogan. hilarious bobby. By weight I might not here's a podcast called tiger belly and dude, it is so funny him in Andrew. Santino. Do that now I don't know actually I his juries. Ideally so he has a podcast called whiskey ginger they made a podcast together called bad friends and dude is number one right now is the. It is so fucking funny through. On you guys need to Dave. Thompson has a podcast with his wife. It's funny. COMEDIANS. It's it's like What is it? Yeah, your mom's house. So said, it's your mom your mom Kris get and do they talk but pockets they all talk about the the process of becoming a comedian and do to make you feel so much better because. It's it was something I had one do for so long definitely. Mike I finally did it, and of course, the corona virus happened the night. The next time I was going to be able to do it. You know. But like dude. It's. So it's. I can relate to that because I know what you like I feel like I could totally do especially being like as a kid like I totally reflect zero. To like, it's like I try to see like if I'm GonNa do something and I think my problem is like if I'm going to do it to put everything to it and then my fear of rejection, let's say I'd like. Put. All my effort into like writing like Dan domes and none of my comedy is like just stand up joke material and I feel like a failure maybe then I don't feel funny and then people all still funny. But in my own head I'm just fucking tweeted Massieu. That they say on these podcasts, that's every standard is exactly what you just described. That's how they feel is going to send it. To Send it. I just got a Senate. That's dude if I if you gave too much of a fuck, this podcast wouldn't even be rolling exact. No, you're totally right about now. You're. Thanks that's straight fastest gotta try. He's got to throw it out. You never know you're totally right man and that's like you miss one hundred percent of the shots. He don't take. They tell you that when you're five years old and even every opportunity of life it shows it. You know what? I mean dude he's gotTa take shots. Scared rule like Eric I remember hurt my first motivational video when I was in high school I was like in the Weight Room Smoking Thomas. Thomas. Liaise No. He's from Detroit is her neutral.

Your brothers shooter though that is an. Your brothers friends used to on that happen just like they used to act like they were parents from like. They would just be like Oh my God. We saw these teenagers black. Music Actually again it's deplorable. Exactly. God. So funny though of course, like the mom like. The best just like, Oh, I've seen those around you to. MOMS exactly. It's all. Funny Yopie Kelly you. And me a bug light. The Fridge maybe make that too if that's of course. This is a bonus pod absolutely of it. I could be your whole fucking. Yeah because we were talking about this guy unless podcast. Jerry part number twenty four. Please listen anyways. We're talking about this neighbor that he used to have his name I'm not gonNA say his name. But he was pretty crazy broke his arm. Like A, kid's arm heap in the summertime he went and pull the ice ball out of his fridge or. Whatever and we were just like messing round at first we were thrown pinecone kind of Adam and he's throwing them back. It was like fun is bull on. Liberty. And it's fucking ass. O'Brien. The whole time me stew in. Just sitting there plugging stood duty St Stewart in throwing those pine cones share, and so we wrote our rights their right. and. This guy. Joe I don't think he would care. So Joe. Joe Joe Joe Roy because no that is Teri Roy. Okay. So anyways, he was a year old. but. He but at this time like I, think we were in third grade he was in fourth grade right and so we're GONNA daytime show. Way Back in the day and we run our bikes and. And this guy, he had come to like Harry used to throw these parties and shit right and like you know his parents would they were like you know super, Bowl parties. New. Year's Party is all in all of Shit or whatever because it was like we were a neighborhood. That community of neighbors. And so we thought you know we knew this guy was kinda crazy but. "My head, and then I would try those I would I would turn into a cycle. So you would fox some guys I mean like, okay. Let's get a life sentence. Is this scenario you do have to. All. Right. Would I mean like if I'm getting a For Tax evasion I'm probably, not. If I'm like a lifer. Killed like twelve people maybe like eighty years old I'm not going I'm going but that's also just a mindset of just like year in solitary confinement for sixty. Dollars, resilient. WHO He went to prison for raping his like. Baby. Daughter or whatever's. She's yes someone and then killing her and. I got yeah and then so he went to prison or whatever and. Like thirty two people just beat the fuck out of hand go. Make Sense. Yeah. They get it these thugs they don't play with that. You know into prison in some of these are in there for like killing gangbangers in life and. You, touch the kate till you're. Like a baby to it's like I'm just GonNa leave with my bare hand. You're basically eating a life sentence just going to jail. And then so. Stop up right. He. He had to get his assholes. Like close close close and then they went back at him, rip those stitches out and just went back in for second halt assessing. Talk about the prison system. Yeah. Dude bike like he doesn't get killed that he has the words. Were lender in I'd rather be best. I'd rather be just walking around the whole the whole. You could fucking escape through. Hugs man that's fucked. I'm never going to be the situation. It's whack. You never know man. I probably will never touch somebody younger than me. I don't even looking teams. I'm not talking about okay you're right. Right. Of course that, of course but single about if if accidentally hit someone while driving not charged for manslaughter. Lawyer. Okay you were up you lose. Your prison for life. Okay. Then I have the mentality where if you're gonNA try to fuck me I'm GONNA kill you know if not, I'm in my cell and I'm just studying maybe try to be working now I'm just working out and doing nothing books like what else do you do you sit in a cage defeated me. GimMe Litter something. That I. Could read I'm sitting in this fuck itself church row. Maybe, I'll pick up some shit. See dark should this be hard? You Not Person? Come out more educated and hard. Yeah for real. Men. If you go in there, you get the forty eight laws of power with you bro got that book straight. I think you're not wrong I. Think. A lot of people are i. mean is probably some Psychos in prison maybe you could just like. If you could like have like do the billboards in prison for forty? And bills like it's like there's probably a lot of people like that toys they're just like all right you my. A. To join a race thing now fuck I don't think. So I don't think at this point I think race things should be dissolved. On it's different in prison though it's different. Just you know you're right because there's a lot ignorance of uneducated. On here's the thing. Here's my problem. My last name is August I. Don't look like I'm a Mexican but I am Mexican and I am Spanish, so I am pretty much I am Hispanic. Yes. So do I go with. The. Or do I go with. The Mexican crowd, I dunno I maybe you dislike Rigi Shank and try to I just tried to I tried to solve the racism try to dissolve the racism I'm super. Nice. Everyone like a man with. Shake I on their station. I'm like brilliant array. I, do it for both sides everybody. It's just all get along but I love everybody. Both. Then they both. Be familiar with so has asked combine everybody to one. Because you'd have to unify everybody one under one 'cause. Four so People that are very good. Do how billing those are great dude. You just made a really big mistake. It was just bill was locally here in his story doomed from the start yet do not just see that that works we. So we were going on night shift like we basically move wedding furnishings, tables and Shit and like a lot of people working because it's like good hours you work like ten pm six am. So we get a lot of tens a lot of side gigs. And this dude who is in jail for like thirty forty years and he out and he's like parole now. So he's like candles anything but he yeah, he got off his recently. But like the firm, but it was like this student would never technology was used gone technology boom literally doesn't like it's crazy to. Do. What are you doing I'm like hidden speech on snapchat. Yet, no literally doesn't. As. Fuck. Thomas completely disconnected from the world for like forty years when Black A. Black, Mayor Dude actually, you can teach them so much like dude. So he has so many good sex joshing she ever to the. That's wall. So yeah, he's a war. So he was a paratrooper in what they were doing a huge because he was just telling us like I'm like dude. So will you like what he talks about music? Yeah. He's a paratrooper and what they were doing is they were shooting up with just like adrenaline and just because they're like buddy you're jumping on. Because like think about you and I I get it I, get it as far as. Do I would too. You know what I mean. It's funny. It's like you fucking if I'm jumping out of a helicopter landing on people who are shooting at me. splurged some. Speed that's fine. I would be slaking Goddamn So then. They did all this shape. He goes out there and like he goes to the bars and shit when he's like stationed overseas, all these women just throw themselves at him stuff like that. He comes back to the states nothing like that and he's already fucked up in had and of course, like this dude has single mother like bad Charlotte. So I'm not saying he's a genuine guy but he made a lot of horrible decision. He learned his end like He. Really but he really like head on straight really means well, really works hard and it's like, okay I could see where you get misled a strange shit like that like victim to the system type shit and it's crazy to see somebody like that first hand and like talk to them, what stories like? Yeah. He goes to jail for thirty years like he's he's not allowed. He's he's not allowed lot have access to the Internet, he's not allowed to he has. No idea what's going on as a flip phone exaggerate something only calls like three numbers and like he gets. So he gets out of jail thirty years in release ago. Yeah. The first six months like he was a year and a half parole and he was like the first six months like you get deeper and he's like doesn't have a car bike stuff like that and he's just like sometimes I remember just sprint in trying to make sure I get. To my house before my beeper gets offer else apparently not I mean that's another six months stuff like that, and it's.

Wait to now. I don't know I always I used to always make fun of it would. Totally understand. I would be like totally. Grow to get in a beach into. Pitch down the youngest of. Be exactly you need all your like dances action. Yeah. Dude for real and like I truly feel like what it felt like to be like just depressed I was sleeping until like. Two or three, and like dude I would just go to the gym and then I would just. Come. Like after I went to the gym just like. I feel tired and I just want to go back to sleep dude like and I didn't notice it but my parents noticed and they were like, yeah, it's going on or whatever and so like. I just. Like I didn't think anything. Yeah, and then I just realized like Yeah Geez this is what's going on because I had stopped hanging out with like a lot of my friends for awhile dude it was just really like you're just caught in. Stage Yeah I have I I. And it's like damn this what I get for funding. For on people with depression pussies, I, know what you mean. After Day should just hits the fan yelling fuck. Dude for real men. Look around six months later, like the I talked to the student forever Funke's one of my best friends. Owned by the way guys. For listening to this, this is a bonus J. Rod pod. What what was her name for? O. J. Route Hunt takes driven hot takes coming in. And Actually isn't even heartache Tom Brady is going to be stinking hot garbage time. He's going be fucking garbage. He's GonNa go there and he's got a great receiver core. I'm just GONNA make sure to. Stink he's going to go there and he's going to be like Oh. You know what I get he's competitive doesn't WANNA put it up but he does not have the train is not of the. Guys are. Going to the Patriots I, mean I think it's fine I mean I was a little shocked because I was like. I don't care I'm alliance Fan or die. So my whole life is depression. Kicked her whole life yet naturally just Kinda hate him but like he's a machine I I hate them I mean he's do. He's don't know you. Know he's. Really. Today if you can hold up six fingers and they all have to go rings your go. Yeah. That's undeniably Go but how many spellcheck? He's got a whole bunch here you were saying. That if you wins without trick than and we'll start talking, then I will have absolutely nothing negative to save time. If he. You know he went super their chemistry just well, no I mean they got some receivers. I mean they got Godwin. They got win and they got Evanston Evans is a stunt I've my. Has He is seeing baller that guy goes out and gets points but he's not consistent because you know why James Winston is garbage goes thirty touchdowns, thirty picks. That's literally a thirty for thirty ended of its own. But this year he gets latex and now Tom Brady's GonNa be the starter but he was. Okay so so J. Reid as well as jared listeners I feel like a lot of them probably don't know a lot about sports against a man from so. Explain. What is latex would earn so so he so Basically he got is surgery because he doesn't have twenty twenty vision and I don't think he wears contact because maybe that's just me maybe just doing latex. So He literally gets is surgery coming in CPOS. He picks on like Oh now mix James Watson because you know he can throw like he's he's a ball. Season when he's so streak Asian. Yeah and then now gets good vision Tom Brady comes he's not even GonNa. See the field unless Tom Brady shits the bed early which he mothers no way. Though takeout somber I mean he should submit early. What is I? Mean I guess they don't. Think about it. What what shitting the bed in Tampa Bay because they've witnessed, they've witnessed five interceptions again with these New Orleans. No that's what I'm saying but they go to games like their fans go to games and they witness literally James Through five picks a game and they're still they save three hundred. To what's going on I mean imagine being that. Like that'd be crazy be. Would you rather be professional nfl like being in the NFL. Would rather be in the NHL Hall. That's a great question. Great Question I mean as far as like opioid depending on who you are in the league like NFL sick. Fraud, sending, Crosby, like what caliber player if I'm going to be just like. Crosby. Actually out of PAT mahomes like. I mean, let's think about link Julian Ataman or. I mean Zach parise Marshall Still Pretty no one knows about margin I. Roll Music. Team he plays on this awhile captain their marshawn initial. Super Casual marshawn Lynch. I'd rather play in the NHL because you play more games than I. Think you're it'd be longer I think it would be longer and are also I. Really liked the mentality of they are not just you think you'll get more CD from football for. About thinking about it like there's his for sure there's hitting on every single every single player basically on the fields making contact. It's like that show like. They've made strides which means again where but but there's Literally just constant contact all hockey. There's a lot of contact, but it's not The game is not revolved around contact. You know what I mean yeah, and then you think about the professional. College football, there's A. Half Supernatural I love hockey. What a lot of other story hockey is super physical maybe even more as far as like getting hit by take changes but you're not getting head injuries. Do you think is more of a mental game mental game? I mean all the pants I think hockey is just nothing but green and think hockey is more of a mental than than certain positions for football do majority of Brazil. How your attention span isn't goalie aired I. Don't get how they do it.
