Pat Boone Shares a Story About Elvis and Lisa Marie
"I remember, I don't know, it's got to be close to like 15 years ago or something. When Elizabeth Taylor passed away and Dick Cavett, who I'm privileged to call a friend as I call you friend, he was interviewed on, I don't know what it was. I don't think Larry King was on anymore. But it was one of those shows and he was being asked about Liz Taylor and he said, yeah, she's like the last of the redwoods from that Hollywood era. She's the last one. But he said, but, you know, we shouldn't envy these people because he knew the behind the scenes story that addicted to drugs innumerable failed marriages, alcoholism. I mean, a level of misery that is mostly hidden from the public or it's sold in the tabloids as part of their fun, crazy life. But you know these people as people and you realize it sells itself records, it sells movies, but it destroys lives. It's heartbreaking. Yeah, when Lisa Marie. Died recently and her own son had died of a drug overdose. And I'd been with her just a month before with Priscilla. It was at the 45th anniversary of Elvis's death. And of course, there were still people coming from around the world as they do every year in August. And there's a shrine that was on Elvis at his at his home site. And it's almost like they're coming to commemorate saint Elvis. Because for sure. And he was gone and so they just can't let him go. Well, then in the shadow of all of that, talk about the valley of the shadow of death. Lisa Marie's son died, and then of drugs, and then she died of a heart attack. And I made the statement because I loved them all. I had just been with them. Celebrating, you know, Elvis life. And to some extent, his death, and I made the statement that supreme fantastic success can often be more dangerous, the sudden success than long lives in poverty.

Pat Boone Has Always Been a Beacon of Wholesomeness
"Fascinating that at that young age, you were presented as this image of a wholesomeness and already in the 50s. Look, this is just the way of the world. The dark side is always attractive. And people don't understand what they're getting into. You know, you kind of think like, wow, Elvis Presley, the idea that he died of a drug overdose bloated Iraq at age 42. It breaks your heart. How many of those people they trod that path? And they died so young whether they were talking to Jimi Hendrix or anybody, any name, you know, Jim Morrison. I mean, on and on and on and on and you represent it obviously something very, very different. And The Rolling Stones and even The Beatles, if they were experimenting with drugs, they were very wealthy, and they could go to Switzerland and then have their blood transfused. Yes, Keith Richards famously had to get a blood transfusion because he was so loaded up with drugs. He's like, not a problem. I'll just go to some clinic in Switzerland, and we'll take care of that. Yeah, but kids were dying by the thousands following examples with the drugs that they couldn't afford to have their blood transfused. And people weren't even making well, there was a connection, but I mean, you know, you couldn't blame them for just sinking in their songs and living their lives the way they wanted to. But the fallout from it was too bad. It was very unfortunate. And of course, here I was had four daughters living in Beverly Hills and going to church regularly and riding bestselling books of Christian principles. And yet having rock and roll records at the same time. And so I was okay.

Pat Boone Has Met Everyone, From Elvis to the Queen
"I'm talking to pat Boone. Yes, the patent. I could get any guy named pat Boone, but no, we took the trouble to track down the real pat Boone. Who has boy pat? You've met anyone I can think of. You have stories with The Beatles. You did business with The Beatles in the 60s. I did business with The Beatles. You met the queen twice. Yes, yes, twice, and the second time was very embarrassing. I think I did I tell you about this. You did and how many times did you walk on the moon? Be honest. Well, only once in my dreams. And it was scary, so I didn't it was a nightmare. You sung about the moon. You've met many astronauts. I mean, look, you've just met about everybody. I mean, everybody that was on the dais at the Dean Martin rose, the greatest program of all time. You've met most of those people. Yeah, and they've all made jokes about me too, and not on the roast. But just in their shows. And then they're well, because you became. You became that guy, you know, that we wanted to make fun of something wholesome we'd make fun of pat Boone. And what's the line where Dean Martin or somebody says that I shook papon's hand in my whole my whole right side sobered up? Big laugh because the audiences knew what he was talking about. Eric from the very beginning of my career where Elvis was, you know, my opening act and we've talked about that because I already had 3 million selling hits before we met and he only had one record and it was a sock hop in Cleveland. He was a punk. He was a punk, you took him out of the gutter. Is that what you're saying? No. But it was all like that. But he was considered the rebel.

Legendary Entertainer Pat Boone Returns to Discuss His Book "IF"
"And gentlemen, you know, when I have the opportunity, I like to bring on a gigantic Hollywood star, you know, that that's on my level. And it's very rare that you can find those people anymore. But we found one, some of you know him, his name is pat Boone, pepin, welcome to this program. Welcome to thank you. Thank you for that great introduction. I'm far more than I deserve. Yeah, oh yeah. Listen, you. Become a friend, so I like to joke around with you. And the last time you were on, you know, I want to talk to you about your new book. But we always get on the side tracks. Yes, the book. The title of the book is if IF if one word if the eternal choice, we almost make and you say on the cover, not religious life or death. So this is kind of the big question, but. The first question I often want to ask people who've written a book is for whom did you write the book? And those who did you have in mind when you wrote this book if. And by the way, I got to be clear. There's a couple of books out there right now that look just like this one with the same title if don't buy those books by this one by pat Boone. I don't look like this ever. They don't look like this. This was specifically designed by me to look like something that you probably wouldn't want to read and it says here specifically not religious, a warning sign, because this book is aimed at the non religious person who, unfortunately, make up over half the American public now, according to the pollsters. But they still have the same questions about life. And you and I both know that if you're just floating through this culture, it's hard to find solid answers. And I know that's why you wrote the book is because there are people that they're questioning, but they don't know where to look. And I know at the very least, that's the main reason or that's one of the main reasons I should say that you wrote the book is to reach those people with this provocative title if IF, if. But there's another book that looks very similar titled if it's not by pat Boone. We're talking about baboon

Rep. Pat Fallon: Learning About Biden Family Finances
"You've been very busy on the oversight committee of all the things you've seen so far coming across your desk. What's the thing that really makes you raise your eyebrows? Well, you know, the more we learn about Biden's family finances, Jeff, to be honest, the more really chilling it is in shocking that I absolutely help lately corrupt they are. And that the mainstream media won't report on it. I mean, you got a guy. Hunter Biden. It was basically to be a Frank. He was a life loser. He was involved in hard drugs, prostitution, et cetera and then suddenly he becomes a multi millionaire international businessman. And the only thing that changed in his life was his father became vice president. And his father in 2019 when he was running for president says, hey, listen, wow. I don't know what hunters doing. I don't even associate nothing. We find that to be a lie that he actually met with and helped scores of his business associates. And then lo and behold, the Biden family has 150 suspicious activity reports, which are reports generated by financial institutions when they suspect fraud, money laundering, sexual trafficking, or something along those lines. A 150 of them. Congress traditionally has had access to those reports if they want them. And we've been denied access to these 150 SIRs. For the last two years, that net boss of my mind,

Aaron Rodgers Emerges From the Darkness

Now, deciding that he did not want to retire under the same year Tom Brady did, and he wanted to continue to play. He's following that great packer tradition of leaving the Green Bay Packers and going to New York. It looks like if things can get everything settled. I mean, is there ever, I mean, this is almost like the Howard Hughes of football. I mean, just this reclusive, I'm going to sit in the dark for two weeks and then come back out and talk. And then when he actually came back out this week and said it on the pat McAfee show, well, I'm going to play and I intend to play with the jets. Well, I loved the I don't know if I'm going to try to I think it's a direct one. He said, I came out of the darkness and something was a little bit off. Like, yeah. Okay. The real world, buddy. You know, I just, I feel like every fan of every other team in the NFC north wants to hold a press conference to thank God for getting Aaron Rodgers out of their division. But realistically, it's something that bothers me. I think this is, this goes for pretty much anything. This is not, we don't even have to keep this to just sports, but the idea that he knew that he knows that he has enough power to a if they want to get rid of him, he can take as much time as he wants. If he really wanted to stay and cause a stink and their organization, he could do that as well. But now he gets to make demands to the team that's looking to get him. Think about all the power that that one man has because he can throw a football 60 yards without blinking.

Pat Boone Shares a Story About Foster Brooks
"Rare opportunity to see two show business giants having this kind of a conversation. Unfortunately, pat Boone is both of those giants. And then there's Eric metaxas, your humble correspondent here. But pat, you I joke around with you all the time. You have met absolutely everyone, you know you knew everyone that I have admired over the years. Most of them have passed on. You mentioned Foster Brooks. Did you meet? Did you know Foster Brooks? Yes, of course I did. I was not expecting a Foster Brooks impression on the program. But you did know foster books because I don't know, you know, what do I know? We played in each other's golf tournaments. He came to my tournament in Chattanooga that I hosted for almost 40 years for the bethel orphanage orphanage Christian orphanage and school that took in kids who were wards of the court whose parents were in prison. Only institution like it I've ever known. And so I hosted Goff tournaments for that thing for 30 years. It's still going strong. And Foster Brooks came to it. Now, you know, after I asked him to come and he said he would, I said, wait a minute, foster, you perform, you play a drunk, which I know you are not. And he had been, though he wasn't anymore. But he sure knew how to do it. And I said, can you be funny without being drunk? And he said, well, yes. But it's harder for me, but I said, but you know all of our people, all of our kids in this school almost all of them were victims of parents with child with a alcohol abuse and drug abuse. So he would call me before he came to them. And all the supporters of bethel, he would say, can I tell this joke and he would tell me a joke? I'd say, oh, yeah, that's funny. Then he'd call me can I tell you? I said, no, no, no. No foster. You can't tell that joke here. Sorry. And then, and he performed beautifully without alienating anybody. And then, of course, I had to return the favor and go play in his tournament in Kentucky.

Pat Boone and Eric Discuss "What in Hell Is Happening"
"Things have gone insane. They've always been iffy not to use the title of your book. But the point is we are now at a place where I think a lot of people who were formally kind of sleepwalking along in their busy lives are waking up and thinking, what in the world is happening, you're telling me that men are becoming women and women can become men and I can't say this and I can't say that. And I'll be canceled if I say this or I say that let's be blunt. Many people are just going crazy and there are many people waking up to the fact that half of the world is going crazy or is it just me? And of course it's not you folks. If you think the world is going crazy, it proves you're saying because you still have the ability to see that things are just going way off the rails and we can talk about that all day long, but in the middle of that people are looking for hope and it's one of the reasons I wanted to talk about this book if because you offer real hope. May I amend your question that you ask at the beginning right there, it's not what in heaven, it's what in hell is the literal question to be answering. What in hell is happening? Because that is what is happening in the United States of America. We are being revisited by the demons of hell and is corrupting every part of our system, it is trying to abolish our constitution, wipe the name of God out of existence and convince people that things that are an abomination to God and that have wrecked every society known to man before America came along is all of these things are now creeping into our way of life and being accepted and celebrated and even by this government made it part of our government that we are going to be governed as I think the guy that wrote in 1984, George Orwell predicted. We're going to be absolutely swept away by falsehood

Legendary Entertainer Pat Boone Discusses His New Book "IF"
"We're talking about pat Boone's book titled if. And on the cover of it, it says not religious life or death if the eternal choice we all must make. So pat Boone, you've been in a million movies. You've been everywhere you've done this. You've done that. But here you've written a book about the biggest question in the history of the world, our eternal decision, so what compelled you rather late in life to write something so extremely important? Well, I felt in my daily Bible reading. You know, I was, you know, that I read the Bible every year. This is the 42nd year to read it straight through word for word. And I was in Hawaii on a getaway and a rest period two years ago. And I kept noticing the word if. And I looked it up and to my astonishment eventually, through more research, I found out it is the most prevalent word in the Bible and perhaps the most important word in the Bible. Almost 28 no 1800 times, I think that word if starts in genesis, if you eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, you will die. And Adam and Eve ate that fruit and they did die. And then from if second chronicle 7 four 14, if my people who are called behind name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their own wicked ways, I will hear from heaven forgive their sin. If because if you read that verse, which is very famous, second chronicles 7 14, if you read 7 15 on down to 7 20, you see a few more if you don't do these things, then I'm going to bring upon you a list of things that will make you shiver.

Pat Boone Continues Discussing His New Book 'If'

It's almost funny to me when I talk to you about everyone you knew everyone you've known everyone and you're still writing books. We are today talking about your brand new book called if the eternal choice we almost make by pat Boone, and again, to be clear, you wrote this book for people to give to someone who just hasn't really considered this question. They may be a nice person, but they're not taking this seriously. And you've made it very simple for them. And of course, the title couldn't be more simpler. It's simply if. Yeah, and people, they think, because obviously, and I don't mean this pejoratively. They are ignorant. They do simply do not know. Anything about the Bible. They don't know if there is a God, according to the latest polls, over half of America is not religious at all. And they don't think that they should be or they wonder if they should be, but if they wonder at all, they don't know where to turn. Who's going to tell me whether there is a God, even though we tell them all the time that the constitution of the United States is built on biblical principles, there would be no America today as we know it. If it hadn't been for the Bible. And our founders were very familiar with the Bible all of them, and they wanted to create really what they were considering a modern Israel.

Is the Word 'Conservative' Applicable Today? Dr. Steve Turley Explains
"Conservative, at least I think I am. I hate labels, I grew up under Maggie Thatcher. I guess I'm a paleo con or an old school conservative. But here's the problem, Steve. So theoretically conservatives want to conserve. They want to conserve that which has been demonstrated over millennia to work. Traditional values, the family, man is a man, woman is a woman and so forth. Conserve that which we know works. But in the last 80 years, they've destroyed that. So there is nothing to conserve. I mean, unless you go out to the rural, the heartland, there's nothing to conserve of any value where there is political power. So here's my question to you. Is the word conservative applicable today, if not what do we need to call it? And then secondly, how much harder is the job of those like you and me and those who believe in our nations in the westphalian system and national sovereignty and traditional values to be successful if we're basically recreating, we have to revivify that which the left is dismantled dismantled in the last 80 years since, you know, Antonio gramsci. Yeah, wow. Yeah. How many more questions? Many, many, but let's start with these ones. Oh, that's brilliant. No, I think you're right. I mean, conservatism is going through sort of a redefinition right now with the neocons getting pushed out. Finally, mercifully. And thanks to your team coming in in 2016, 2017. Yeah, to be right. To be and I love how you say things that work for a thousand years because that's the way I think we have to think. That's why I use the term Christendom in the book. I didn't just want to the original title was something on the coming Christian majority. And I got pushed back on that by some colleagues saying no, no, no. I mean, we got to go deeper. This isn't just pat Robertson two. Kind of thing. This is pat Robertson is dependent on generations generations and generation form. So definitely conservatism today, I think, is much more of the, you know, Russell Kirk and Edmund Burke sort of traditionalist. It's one who believes. Are we trad cons? Yeah, there you go. That's right. We are, we are. Medieval cons, something like that, right?

Everybody watching right now, listening on radio if you have friends or family in Wisconsin, we have to mobilize, it's going to be a low turnout election for a very high stakes primary for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Thanks, Charlie. Good to be with you. You're good to see you again. Thanks for all you're doing to immobilize people and inform them. You know, this is an exciting day in Wisconsin really, Charlie. This is election day. And every election day is important. And this one is particularly so. In fact, I just spoke to a group of teenagers and told them they're living in a moment of history because we have the opportunity today in Wisconsin to elect the people who will go on to the general election on April 4th to fill a vacancy that we have in our state Supreme Court. You know, what makes this so significant is that right now our 7 members Supreme Court leans conservative. We have a four three conservative tip right now. However, one of the conservatives has chosen after two ten year terms not to run again. And that is justice pat Rogan second. So what's happened is we have this open seat. And the liberals are literally salivating over this open sea. Here in Wisconsin, you know, Charlie, we have a divided government right now. We have a very Liberal Democrat in the governor's office and we have yeah, that's a good word for it. We have Republicans in control of both houses of our state legislature. So the liberals can advance their agenda that way.

Couples Therapy
"pat" Discussed on Couples Therapy
"Let's see. That's ridiculous. So many. 'cause I remember ridiculous like two parents. I mean, you posted, I remember like, you know, seeing some picture, you know, like for, you know, siblings day or something on IG where I was like, all of these people in one house. I couldn't fathom it. How many have siblings do you have? But we had all in one house. That's my point. It's like to have like 6 kids all under one roof. Yeah. We were only truly under one roof for one year of like everyone loves their full time because my youngest sister was born when I was a junior. My brother was a senior. And so then he went to college and then I went to college. But then but when I came back, I think there were when I came back, I think my older brother was like, living in Queens and my younger, whether I think was at college, so it was like my other younger brother and my sister and my other sister. So it was actually that was a lot. That was like four of us. But then when my other, but I went to college. So I don't know. There's always a cycling. There was a cycle, yeah. But you grew up in your parents like with that many of you, I know you were a runner, right? That was your thing and in high school and stuff. Yeah, that was very much my thing. You did track and field? I did check in feel distance. I like to run just trying to get back into it right now. I've gained a lot of weight over the quarantine, pandemic, which isn't good or bad. It's just the body, the fact, and today. Tell it sister. Absolutely. I go on like a 45 minute spiral of body positivity that ends up alienating everyone. And so I do miss running and so I'm trying to get back into running. It's a different experience, but whatever. I'm this weekend, man. I ran 12 miles last night. What? And then I ran like 6 and a half today around 50 miles this week. I just I'm trying to run. I'm doing none to run this app. So it's like nothing to you're supposed after 12 weeks. You're supposed to be able to run for half an hour straight. But I'll tell you, it's like literally like a you run for a minute, you walk for two. You run for a minute, you guys are doing that. My shins are hurting. I was like, I broke my legs. I was like, how do you think this was supposed to be so hard? Especially just doing like a minute at a time? Yeah. Well, what choose can I ask? Because I ordered something 'cause right now, I don't want a short circuit. Okay, you're ready. We'll talk about it after. I was fine with the running so you started talking gear. How many electrolytes are you drinking afterwards? Well, I missed you. Muscle just falling off. I know. I was like, it just hurts, I'm bad at running. For years and years of my life, if I worked in running stores, fitting people making those racks. So you're a pro, you know. So great. I will be bothering you offline. I would describe this. I would describe myself as uniquely qualified. But you know, speaking of running, you know, pat for so many years, what were you running from? That's a fucking transition. It is funny. I mean, when I think of like my teenage years, which is when I really got into running, I was so sad. I was when I think of myself in high school, I was like, I just had this deep sadness all the time that I don't even know exactly what it was. And I do think running really helps me with that. And I didn't realize how sad I was 'cause I was never, I didn't know that I am happier. As an adult, I'm like, oh my God. And I only had that feeling sometimes. I'm like, oh my God, I decided to feel like 24 7, it's like heaviness. And I think running was like a little bit of an escape from that and I think yeah, I think and it also really helped me make I was, you know, a closet gay person. And really Catholic school. And it was the aughts when it was like. It was like American pie culture. It would be great. You can be gay in that. And so. It is specific. And it's just like, it's okay to fuck a pie, but not have a consensual relationship with some of your own gender. Yes. And so yeah, I think and running help me make friends with I was always it's just always been. I remember in 8th grade, I had one friend and I remember telling him I was like, you know, for some reason, it's actually like so much easier. I find it to talk to girls and to boys. And he was like, well, that would mean you were gay. And I was like, yeah, I'm just kidding about that. And then I made a memo like never say that again. And so I just like all of high school was so careful about like it was just an experience like being having to pretend it was hard talk to the girls and easier to boys, but it was so hard to talk to boys and easy doctor girls. So I think having a sport, it made it easy because it was kind of this built in group that was kind of coed because it was like boys and girls. You know what I mean? Also, there's a kind of isolation to running. Right. You're like, I don't have to talk to anyone. This is great. Totally. Yeah, totally. I mean, you know, it's like a group of people running together, which is fun 'cause it's like just chatty, but you never have to say anything unless you have something so brilliant and funny to say, so it's like so it's just a win. It's like you own there's only to be one. It's have to be one. And then, or it's like by yourself, which is absolutely heaven, because I've always been very my mind really wanders. I'm always like dissociating. I'm always like, oh my God, it's truly three hours later, where have I been where have I gone? You know what I mean? Yeah. So running was like, didn't help me with that but it indulged that a lot because whatever. Do you get that? Where's your brain? You're like, where are you? Where do you go? Sorry, I was thinking about that pixy song in my head..

"The advice Oscar was really heartbroken and had just moved to the same city as his ex-boyfriend and I just wanted to everything that the Oscar said really resonated with me because that's exactly where I was three years ago. And it was horrible and I hated myself and I felt like the entire breakup could be my fault. And it took three years to finally start feeling like myself. So I just wanted to call in and give kind of a timeline perspective on for that caller to just have a little bit of a perspective on it's going to take a long time to start feeling like yourself again, but it's really helpful or at least I find it helpful to really submerge myself in all of the things by hobbies and finding your Friends and learning new things and definitely put that person to their partner in ex partner, I guess. On mute, if not completely blocked because even if you want them back, it's just not going to happen. You're going to have to redefine yourself as an individual. And then three years later, maybe you'll start to feel like yourself again. Anyway, thanks so much for the show. Bye. Some pretty sober advice. Really real advice. I love it. Also, always advocating muting. You know me? You meet everyone. I really do. Honestly, my feet is just dogs. There's no way. And you know what? I'm better for it. Am I still in your feet? Yes, you are. But largely because you tag me. You know what I mean? So you're popping up in there. But that was very nice of you, and I'm so glad that you are on the other side, even though it took you a while. Dear listener. So I appreciate that. And then this last comment is made us both chuckle. This is from a couple episodes ago, Janice meetings episode. And someone called in and said that her friends, husband is very mean to her. Yeah, he sucks. Yeah. So her friend's husband sat so she's like, what do I do about it? So someone sent us a message over Instagram about that. Let's roll it. Hi, Andy and Naomi. I'm listening to your podcasts with Jana right now. And I had to stop it to give you guys my two cents about one of your listener questions because I'm a little tipsy and if I don't do it right now, I'll forget, but she's talking about being the third wheel because her bestie's partners being a real douche. And I just wanted to throw it out there. I think he wants to boner and he's being a real dick about feelings. So that's it. The end, I love you guys. I came for Naomi. And I stayed for the fucking love. You guys are amazing. Thanks. Bye. That one is fun. I love it, how do you little tipsy comments? I don't know if I agree with your assessment that he wants to bone her, but I do like an interpretation of his behavior. I don't know. I do, like, I don't know, am I more repressed days? That definitely like, you know, being attracted to someone, came out more as a aggressive? Yeah. But like, yeah, not like that. I wasn't a jerk, but definitely just like being a little more teasing, if you will. Yeah. Yeah. But is it wife or girlfriend? Either way, he can't have this other person. Right, but still, but that's why I didn't mean to her anyway. Yeah. But so I don't totally know if I agree or not, but I can kind of I'm like, oh yeah, I see where you're coming from. All right, well, I guess. Maybe it's possibility. I just appreciate somebody calling, you know, a couple of glasses in. Here. I have got to weigh in. And that's something that I absolutely love. Oh my God, speaking of things, I absolutely love. Can we talk about today's guest? Yes, please do, Naomi. Guest is a dear friend. I simply adore him. You know him from his podcast seek treatment. His work on the TV show hacks. Yes, I'm talking about pat Regan, y'all. Pat is hilarious. Pat is funny and kind and told me he's gonna teach me how to run. And do you hear we talk about that in this? Unless you, you know, he's running quest? Quest, my quest to run. My thick quest. My thick quest. Are you going to with this third season coming up? Are you going to try to get them to change the title to my thick quest? Absolutely my thick quest ravens banquet. A thick quest and a banquet. That goes out of hand. What? What if it's said like fried cheese banquet? My thick quest, fried cheese banquet. That's actually much better. Thank you so much. Punch ups, punch ups, you guys. I look. I'm in this biz. I know how to punch him up with the best. Speaking of punching up instead of punching down, we love it. We love it. I like how you got there. Yeah, you know. I try. We got a show coming up on Twitch. Free for everyone on Sunday. The 21st. At 5 p.m. PST..

I wish they left it in because it's funny but it's also pertinent to the conversation in using words that you shouldn't use you know she said it on the podcast. You know a million times. And i just felt like that one little piece. It didn't really affect the overall episode too much. But i think it would hit just a little bit harder if they left it in. Yeah you know what. Sitcoms are are just dog shit now and you guys weren't hacky it was the the most fascinating thing about it let. The jokes weren't predictable yet. Wasn't a setup a lead up to like. We're checking things out. I guess right in and florio. And i think what you're saying i don't know if dr as because hey. Us last night on show. Good man canada on sunday night. That's the one to win the group. I hopefully will bring our studs to put alongside that young players a couple guys on nineteen stink but we got a couple of guys a real good. There congrats all than by the way getting national team appearances. That was my dream as a child. So congrats to all of them getting a chance to play and on a performance. But when i think florio put out something that there should be. I don't know if it was about him or somebody else. But it's real. This was happening with antonio brown. We never really heard from goodell on what his thoughts were. And i think adele was legitimately waiting for the off the field stuff to get settled in any made his announcement and there was really no communication so nobody knew what was going to happen is going to suspended was going to get this. And then once there was a little bit of clarity on a situation. Then teams got interested in a buccaneers. Got interested with the sean like with the commissioner. Have to say something and come out and say like this is where we're at. He won't be able to do this. We're still investigating. They're still a lot to go through. So we don't know how many games we should suspend them these on the exemption list like how i don't i just don't know how that will happen three weeks. I don't know how that happens in three weeks especially with everything else going on in the world especially delta streets in an si article from two days ago it says the league could place him on a commissioner exemplifies so they have not yet. Okay but if you're if you're the eagles or the dolphins if he's out this year and you get to see what to and jalen hurts our. That's almost better than you can make trade if he does in fact not play this year. Yeah but then what happens if midseason right they stink. And then there's no credibility for trade value to them like guess. Hey pat connor you guys to pipe down for a quick second. We're gonna take our first break of the show when we get back.
