"You're on the screen I can't hear you re everybody's on huge. Wear a special. Like, the cartoon like people that you save for Baseball, they act like a quarter of the. Stadium with people as just A. Cartoon like cough with painting on never suggests. that. Would see. because. Every time I see like an NBA game or anything like that with the fans on in the background. Watching like. I like somebody playing on Xbox or something like. I think in. The NHL doing a good thing with the. That Sala would go instead I would go like NHL style I would go with the big giant screen you know. A lot of giant make might make the character look bigger than ever. They did like you have the Titan trump but I would like add like many. That would be basically. Four walls would leg the guy I don't know like maybe different different size. But you screen of different size on all sides of the ring. I don't know like wear when the camera pans out it looks larger than lights. I think I think hockey they're doing that it works out pretty pretty well so but. We're not. We can't compare with the crowds. That's that's the strategy. You left our would go. You led right into question I had for you. Obviously. Called the French Canadian Frankenstein for a reason. We talked about hockey. What do you think about hockey right now? Who Do you have? You been watching the playoffs at all? What do you think? I was watching on Montreal god-like. Kicked out by the flyers was watching it and I was pretty impressed with the The way that the guys who were going all I was good. Calibre good hockey. I wasn't even more boring than that. but you still have the effects that are good on hockey. Let's say the guy hit a Sasha and he hits the pin in Oh pollsters something. It's Silica. Very. But you missing the. The crowd, Vicky. Don't but it's still it's still. A lot of. Suspense things like that because the rules you know hop and things like that. So people can get excited on TV doted on the crowd in the background, but I think it's the same but I think hockey are doing job would would get. Your think if anybody hockey's definitely doing the best job, I mean like at MLB Games are using like cardboard cutouts and stuff. Doesn't award. Had that. I agree with you I. Don't have that that of the of the cardboard just in on. Site these. But I completely agree with you like I think the best bet honestly would be maybe like one hundred screw a bunch of maybe limited to like fifty people or something like that. But do one hundred inch TV where the face of somebody you know maybe different size at TV's Libya Canada but mix up like instead of different fans the hold those TV's at your seat, the match going on I, think it'd be cool to. So that brings up a good question and anybody that knows your career and we talked about it in our past episodes you competed in the inaugural brawl. We've seen wwe his basely resurrected that with raw underground just in a more trumped-up version. So. First of all, have you seen any of that and if so what do you think about it? I've seen the the new faction. What's your name again? Just. Retribution. Of, HOUSTON. Seen. Them. A little bit I can't watch a full show I own needs. In either. I go through a just back and forth. I don't watch much TV usually. but I do sometimes especially when districts house when we train and I'm there than I watched him. he's seen any of that Rhonda ground thing and do you think it's a rip off the Bro for all vessels that I haven't watched it but I've heard it's a republic bropher although I think. Where you gotta walk in it's like fight club and then they walk in and they got like the they got the ring, but there's no ropes or nothing. And they that's That's a little bit the idea of. the judge Barnet. Sport Yeah. I think the idea Might be coming from there I'm not sure but. I think there've been doing that they started with Matt Riddle and then it's Josh, Barna Bud Sport and before. The first year was the Matt Riddle. And Snow on for that all. Yeah, they're doing great doing great with that. I'm a big fan of that stuff because he's even had guys like Phil. BARONI has fought in that obviously Josh Barnet's been INARI. Corey, that's the one that I was trying to get you to watch because it's got a lot of like Phil Baroni spotted near a Lotta guys from old old style UFC? Been in there as well. So. Sever I think yet Dan Severn as well I believe seven was in there too so. Now as you know now, as we're starting to make our way out, like you said more shows are starting to open up. You know you mentioned brody wrestling over there in new Japan. Do you WanNa make your way over to new Japan now. I was facebook for. Can't remember the name of that tournament just for climate. Climax site the brody. was booked their to be part of that tournament that document this before Christmas. And Rhody Tour is a she l. one of his leg. I'm not sure which one it was. So a door to the AC out. So he needed like two and a half three months off with the stem cells and things like that. So which is a quick recovery compared to before acl was like eight eight months six to eight months now, three months so. I think. It was just enough so. that. We miss the. The injury just asking before Sunday's were supposed to leave for Japan and was just before. The final battle dates I was supposed to be there from. September. "So he brought me for a little tryout into ring, and he's trying to sell me as wrestling school for three grand though. Ideally refused because I had been working Joe years. I had my basics. I knew might be give them three grant which I don't have, and maybe I'm getting like squashed a little bit, but I won't be on the roster. So went back to y'all totally despair. Doley like down depressive and started since sub stuff to a mill debris in America times. And then from being able to make a roster and Calgary, they put me right on with bulldog Bob Brown, thorough chore, no, in the main event for thank Bill seven night. I never made enough so many screw up of my life because my English was in good old. I would shoot me in the row baseball side. I couldn't understand. So I come back. I bear in bulldog. What the fuck is that the fucking bear that they've given me share. Baseball slide to. So maybe you guys working amount yo- young colored, imagine fridge, obviously. No. I mean, clothesline you know, some of the move were like. Called in English, but some of the guys in speaking included also they would totally call it in French, the younger guys, but the top guys would call an English and that's why I needed to get on the road just to learn how to speak English. Remember my flight into colori at a guy beside me said, okay. Do I say women English, but I was asking him and French when why? Where that was my first word that I learned really? Yep. And then that's was my base when I step out of the airplane and Calgary, that was my English base, and as so discouraged that I met that killing bar, but I was so ably had the bleach blonde hair that that we're over blonde that my girlfriend totally missed my shoes white would they were so Dr because it was so poor. And then I met that Jill and she invited me home for supper or dinner. So I taught me on she wants me or something. No one's present me. The parents. She felt like I needed to eat basically. Right. And she wrote me a letter like a card like almost Christmas card says, don't worry, I'm in your corner and that card kit me going for probably five. Eight years. Don't worry. I'm in your corner. That was like an angel. But if you have three quake, three words when wearing, why covers a lot of questions that you need to know word get? Why I started with that. You're doing a job. What. We're talking, you win. Was going to cease to wonder, why start not yet. I want to someone what means nothing yet. And here's the thing we used to always travel bug. No, all the way across Canada and is like you start off in Toronto wherever or Vancouver or wherever, you know when you got the Montreal is going to be French. But when you cross in Canada and I talked about this on a podcast couple of months ago, I've talked about a couple of years and I was like, I was going to look for some go into a gas station to ask for directions, get gas or by some skull, and you go in there and.

"And seen some space, but it's not like I could play ball or driver card might. My life would be basically almost finished, you know, if lose lift. I, I mean finished, but it'd be a boring life. Right? I could watch TV. Yeah, but does it doesn't affect you in ring or like depth perception as far as driving or because you've been dealing with for so long? It's just what you know. You have to be constantly. Like I said, you know, we can't just treat forward looking. You have to be like an angle like that. You're very vision comes from that one eyeso- that that vision goals this way, instead of adding that vision on the on the half site. So you always have light your headlight data. So you so Benxi to what he's doing, turning his head so that his good is facing when the perfect. Yes. Yeah. So so that's one I do a moon, salt or back foot. By heads obits sideways because I wanna see the walls on the side said that I wanna see behind it because I know the floor will come eventually because the way that my actions are done. I know if I do all, you know what I'm supposed to do the floor lab actually up here at one point. You know, when I'm confident it will because I drilled it for so many five hundred times a thousand times. I know it's going to be there, but it's just that I need to see the walls on each side. So that's and for the first four or five weeks when it came out of the middle, I was really fucked up. I mean, I was like playing ball. I was like, okay, I got the ball was going forward and all with fall behind me. But I three to four weeks. I got just just with myself and almost felt like equa playoff complete baseball. Football could play every sports and. I never felt like it did it fit me and the riffing business. But it happens sometimes where someone wants to shake my hand and he's like in the funk in dead Hangul and he's like, okay, see, man. And then there. Sober menu when my dangle. Shake. He, yeah. Sometime? Yes. You questioned grownup. Have you always spoken English or was time when you spoke French only then? That's the super story going to that. The theme pede was the first trying to get out of Montreal because Montreal, you have your international Dino Riki Rouge and they bring is to get them over. Yes, everybody else. Montreal was just jobbers. So you're trying to get book on the road so you can make an aim for yourself and eventually come back in Montreal, maybe a top guy, you know. So I'm calling to art all the time with knowing list whatsoever. You know to me maybe get book cog ary what you think. Hanging up the line on me Like like this. news. You know. So added friend who is pretty good in English. He was writing down things piece of paper, then I would read the piece of paper is to this is pure car will EV. Could you built me in Calgary, please? After, like if you I said to my dad, that ballroom me some money. You know, I'm gonna fly there and I'm good my book myself over there must show up to to to bring you back. Just show in front of my bag and. I hard us to maybe worked tonight in any point me like the toilet. This ways. They sending me like message where go up or something. And eventually I kept going to see going to talk to roost. Now, Bruce in charge of the booking. Then I wanted to see Bruce went to see Ruth. I was pain in the ass. I mean, I and their rid me. They said, okay, now we're pretty fooling rebut me have some space next week and then Minton. So I was thinking that I was seventeen years old sixteen year. Jesus staking their Graham five hours go to Hinton then Minton and everybody didn't show up. Now, everybody's maybe next week in Calgary, maybe we could use you. I think they're gray out back. And I was living with the Salvation Army and I was dying. I didn't have no money. That's not a real getting fucked. Yeah. Flare pain. You're do, and Jerry Brown eventually, which was one of the top wrestler. There felt like pretty story for me any Llosa Bruce, Bruce, I give a kid a little chance, you know..

"Well, you know, in in his funny because you know, I got a little bit of the Calgary stampede later stuff. Everything is very regional, solid getting anything from that far away and I'm not I wasn't familiar with the Montreal stuff, but you don't let huge stars as well. You just brought up a name Dino Bravo. VO which brings up another name to me because weren't you trained by guy named Gino Brata Gino Brito Gino Breda. Yes, you know breed. Oh yeah. He was the owner at the end. I mean, Dino is the owner of the company, what Rick and some of the guys there were like four or five guys like that own the company, Vincent. Like Dino the took the company, but you know, once they find the Rouge Dino coup. Martell and thinks he's like. Thirds or pretty hard to live, you know? And you know it was that one point where stampede signed Brett Donham my Davy. Some other big names and they did the same thing with devante rakes they would Jarrett and it was the same thing over to the world basically. So everything else crumbling down idea. No Gino Rita was filling me because there's still talk to them quite a lot. He was up. I think four hundred thousand up in a Bank account and and Vincent Alford in like ten percent or a good percentage to just run the chauffeur. Em you know, when given percentage take care of the giant and things like that and turned down and when bankrupt. So that's the move that I think it regretted lot. What was training like for you? Gino Brito imagining he was his textbook, scientific wrestler, and all of a sudden, I mean, you have this ability and push envelope once once you got into business, but what is your training consist of just your basic tumbling learning how to. Mop some some chain wrestling. What really strong chain wrestling and Gina was there. But Gina was really interesting like he had like guys do offer him and things like that at work tarp Benji was one of the, the main guy. Edward was really good on the basic of know like one for thirty other to bomb and get a good solid base and with more on the I fly and stuff. And then you had like the other guys, that one I broke in, you can get to the ring until you knew out a fall and you would learn of fallen cement for your end stand fall on the cement floor. You take the body slam on the cement floor. Everything you had to take Bob, like nutbag Trump, but this Bob. Yes. Hip, but the body slammed the handstand the bag balm. But once that was like you lend that then after three months, maybe you're allowed to get into ring and they wouldn't smart you up like filled pretend that you wrestling with real. So the shoot you in the corner to guy was waiting for the boot there, it give it the boot to you. You know, it was like a work boot. It was the boot in the face and I remember my class. We started like we were like fifty or sixty guys. We ended up like we work three or four was. It was really a matter of who wants it more was, was there a deal? There were so many horror stories of guys burns camp. I mean, they were making two thousand Hindu squats thousand pushups thousands, whatever, because they're trying to run them off or they wanna make sure they really fucking wanted. It was that was Canada, like two degree. They were trying to get rid of the guy that weren't tough enough. To to do the fifty lap of running around the gym and do the show. How was that for you? Did you gravitate toward you quickly where you in shape. Into what. I was always targeting to be the first one in the front on the race trying to. That's how I look. A taste for bumping, you know, like on the floor and things like that because I learned that way and I learned all that they bumps properly. And that was my string. I was a bumped acre. So that was really my thing. I was more bumped acre, then I was at chain guy wrestling, you know, I was good at my basic. I was more like someone to huge bag drop backdrop who adopt rope, get slammed on the floor..

"In business thirty years. Ben damn near broke, broken, same time together. You let me, but you're from Canada. I'm from United States. We're cross paths back and forth into the border, right? And a lot of times guys carrying mix, don't to get into the detail, but it's gimmicks. And so one of the famous stories was iron Sheik, and I'm not out of place in telling the story not dropping any still well known story. So I don't know. I don't know who the parties involved were. I just know that was chic and she liked to smoke, and I guess you had about a quarter ounce bag and all of a sudden, you know, across the border, taking stuff out and put in one of the boys bag. And so everybody gets through the border, and then it goes up to whoever's back sir. Zorka all bizarre. So fucking guest beserk ago chic. What the fuck are you crazy? I could have gotten trouble for that. And according to the sources that I've heard the story from the Sheikh twist, MS mustache. Better chip Roenick, good content. I didn't chic. Was that. Heard that story series shit. You're shit of somebody else's bag and leave him hanging. Got dude, because because of boys were this is back in wild wild west. It's not indicative of today's system as pretty got nam scientific over there. Right now. They're flying my pretty tight rules, but back in is pretty damn loose. Some guys got pulled over some shit, so I was never packing anything crazy over a month. Shit was what I was supposed to have, and but nonetheless, you would end up or I would end up or the boys would end up in customs. Sometimes for two, three, four, whatever. It was, how they wanted to fuck with you that was going to and then got to be a period where they were just flagging through. And that was cool. And then some more boys brought him. She hit and they got busted, dude, that is turned out to be the biggest pain in as it was like, I love going to Canada, but I just hated getting air because I know. Everybody was going to get through. We worked a pay per view that one time going back to how Canadian fans of so loyal to the Canadians, then that they really love as well. You have to be over. We worked to deal where I was probably pretty much white hot as a baby face, and you know, Brett at shit, I think, turned hill at at the time or not only remember when it have the heart fundation heart bound Asian versus me and road warrior animal, and hogging goal dust and one on the gaff and it was buying Bryant and Brent Owen anvil, whatever it was big ass, like ten men tag do. We went over there and like we were, I was baby face and the United States. We'll all of the world really. But over there we knew is going to be different and man, they treated us like no pun intended stone, cold hills and Britain. Em was the baby faces because we is in Canada. Yeah, I was like, you know, we're playing to the world its own pay per view. But it was like role reverse yet, and so I'm not playing to the world. I'm playing to the to the stadium that we're in. And so up working, he'll like motherfucker. And it was so fun. It was in Calgary, the Calgary stampede, and that mash was so electric. Those people are so involved in getting handcuffed into the match. And I was flipping everybody behind my back, but dude, they're just something about people love wrestling. Did you grow up watching Calgary wrestling Calgary, a little bit. Most, the international wrestling with Dino Bravo writ Martell. "I need a day off or I can't take a day off. I'm riding a lightning bolt. Yeah, because yeah, I'm trying. Not like data on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but sometimes what it's a pain in the butt. It's like, okay, let's see him in Philly. I go to Texas and they come back on New York, doesn't make sense as far as you can go into an area like doing like senatorial loss. And you know what I mean? Yeah. It's like boom, boom, boom, boom, and sometimes coming back from Texas or l. e. a. you almost using the on the, you're not getting paid, but you're coming back home and you losing that day because the flight is so long that you're missing a day at. When my daughter or training or whatever it is, you know that I could do there was a time when we when I was in WWF and you know, we'd fly just say, okay, your mantra all from Texas, but we're working like the mid west. You fly into Chicago, you get your rent a car, and you're gonna work Milwaukee. Maybe you work lacrosse or whatever. You're in lieu. You're gonna make a loop and then you can return car back to Chicago and yet a drop car. You're gonna get a midsize and drop it somewhere else. But you pretty much going to start off at one place, hit a couple of towns and up in the same place. Go home. That's something we can do how I mean, not always. Sometimes it works sometimes if you wanted to take that extra booking, you have to go further and then come back. You were talking. I came in for his role in a microphone or not, but us talking about flying out of Chicago to get here or from somewhere one of the stories. But Chicago was one of my strong. Goals. It was one of the towns at really adopted or took onto the stone, cold character, and it was just one night in a ring, and I wasn't getting a major push at the time, but for some reason that Chicago town was really behind my character and became a stronghold for me and the Rosemount horizon was my favorite Bill into work in. I love the garden because it special, but the couse ticks and arose. Man horizon were just phenomenal in the people there. The wrestling fans are crazy. It was such a great atmosphere. So I love Chicago. It's a great town, but as far as traveling there because the weather is so unpredictable, that was the town that I always seem to get stranded in the most because storm blow in out whatever they're always be some cluster, fuck in Chicago. So I hated to travel through there. But I love the city itself and love the wrestling grounds. Have you had those those certain towns really gravitated towards you or the ones that just always created a discombobulated. With your schedule? Yes, that bad. But I have like those those towns where I feel like wasn't Austin Texas the other day, and I welcome. I mean, it's for me like how was told by the office that I could never be a baby face and having those, you know, welcome now in a place like Texas or even like Chattanooga, you know, on on the south where stolley different story and having those like PCOT chance and things like that. Phil so goods to me too. I'm so proud of that accomplishing being able to -ccomplish that because it was something that people would have been there out. It would have been anything against me that being French-Canadian I could not be like or love by by any crowd in the United States of America, and it's the total oppose it this year, which is. It's like. The world, the word miracle will be strong. You know, right to to say because it's a strong word, but to say, that's what I magic when I was fourteen years old. That's right though. So that was a deep, deep desire inside me that never left me even though I had life sack face. I mean, I was brought up in two thousand eight for two shots. After my Monday night raw, you said, don't bother go to this down, just take just their car driving back to Montreal and drop it off. And that's such a seven going back in your car. Insane would can my doing business. What's the message in my my? Is that quitting or is it like it's an under slapping phase?.

It's what people does that sarcasm they saw. I'm bending that nail. They thought it was a trick to it, but it's just for just practicing getting the angle. Is this drink too because he's always telling me on that strong. I just know angle, but I feel like you can't take the whole stack when he does back. He's all crooked is saying pulling fibers from my toes to my calves to my my my, my quads might my ass. Everything get into my pull ups. It's not just my lap right. Just my bass, my biceps at the whole body. That works so is as multi-fibre using every fibers of his body to to do things and just to to come back on the frigging thing yet me doing like Adam traps and I was lifting my legs was an preparation for Walter, and he was hitting me for a frie- band twice. And the third time I picked up the pan and I rolled the pan and I'd got up those traps. We're my hell. Booze were ING in there, and I start walking a told me, you look like you walk like Frankenstein and if ever like I'm going later or you see me from backwards, you look at me walking. You'll say this guy really walks like Frankenstein. It's really a character that fits me. I walked like that. I got like, sometimes I stumble, you know, it's not like something where I'm always square on my feet, so it really fits my personality. What do you think that after all these years? Because Jean-Pierre Lafitte as Quebecer baggers all incarnations everywhere you ban after all these years, your your work has always been very, very good, right? But never noticed never seen as McCain or. Or something like that. But in all these years later to come up with this Frankenstein gimmick and then with the work now, I mean a sensation and everybody's booking your everybody wants you. Everybody wants to come. See you and I, I sit here cross table and his watch you talk about it and like a kid in a candy store, you're having so much fun to haircut, almost kind of looks a little bit like Frank, it's everything is. That's all I got left. So you know, like the way you look at it, if you look at my eyes or anything, it's like, I'm start to look like for your mazing because I told the guy this story on a Tuesday podcast. I'll keep it short. I started off Steve Williams. That was my real name. Then Dutchman tailgate me Steve Austin. He gave me stunning Steve Austin. I was superstars tvos and w, and then I was the ringmaster WWF and then I came up with a stone co gimmick. So I was in a business for seven and a half years before I came up with the gimmick that I can. You know, I wasn't the greatest work on the world. I can work just like you can work, but I wasn't the greatest in the world, but the gimmick, everything mesh and I got the push and all those circumstances I talked about earlier. Just like you talked about happened and I ended up being able to do it. I did now sudden, man, you're going crazy after all of the work that you put in the business, all the dues, you paid. I've seen the way you've, you know, you've been in federations for five and six years sometimes two years and years. I mean, but you've been all over the place and then you retired. You were gone. I took a sabbatical and two thousand ten. I was a little bit discouraged because you know, I felt like two thousand eight you, you know, having a back to having tryouts, but I, it's not that I don't think I'm too good to try out because I've seen Chris Benoit's have like three thri else. Never got hired, went to Japan back to w, boom, everything exploded. So as just to me to show, I'll batter you gonna fight for what you want..

You gotta ain't something that's really caloric -ly. There's there's a lot of me crew nutriments like at our in vegetables that are green your calories very up. Like if you think about all the nuts cashew nuts. I in fact very, very protein and take for your body. And the fat is good too. If you heed them in the morning, they're great if you eat them before going to bed, not going to be that great. But in the morning, this one of the best thing you can eat. What are you gonna eat dinner with that. What are you? Gonna eat for dinner for dinner to have like something like chicken breasts. Maybe. Yeah, but there's no way you get enough galleries. If he's eating eight thousand in the morning, you into meals. And because I I'm such a calorie counter that that can't be over three thousand calories. For you me, I don't really count my calories. You know he's more like today must have the metabolism of an of an insane person. We've been on the road like we did sarcastic. We drove there from Montreal with fifteen hours to go fifteen hours. Come back. We hate like seventy two eggs whites. And we ate like. A bunch of Muffin. I tasted like Symond it was no taste in it because as mentality is if you take the taste out of the food, you're not gonna wanna heat anymore. So so that's all he is the extreme, but he's good food. But I mean, I would have to come back to you on that really tell you what you really puts his diet in the morning eight Cal eight thousand calorie, but if you people, the boys have been talking about him to me because the forms ears only feigns all the way to the biceps at salt is so ripped. So rip and he kept his strength. You still feel Charles with two fingers to twenty one thirty. You know, a big, a big part of that is just genetics. You know, genetically gifted, I mean frigging nature. If you're tearing all the stuff that he does. I mean, that's kinda shitting nobody else can do. Here's one for you speaking to strong. "So it's just been working out for me. Great. And the trainings are about twenty twenty five minutes though. The link of a match and that's it. Yeah. Because like he's stilling me. A muscle that is rested is stronger than the muscle. That is tired. So he just found the perfect period of workout, but it's a dense I get. There's no great. Yeah, it's like matches. Like, you know, if you have a little rest by not along wrestling than boom, boom, boom, boom, you give it all and always finish like strong strong phone song always pushed the hardest of the workout, the last three or four minutes, so I can finish before you met him throughout your career as you were coming up. I mean where you basically bodybuilding training? Yeah, I I'm not. Valvo we're doing, but we're in inclines, Josh, avait, bitch, fascinating. Inclined eight flies as chest and then some treadmill. Yeah. You're trying to go as heavy as you can. But by the time you get out on the road drawl beat up, traveling down at town. You wage diminish a little bit, but it's always about trying to keep trying to keep some tone and look good and keeps them blood going, say, a healthy, and I found out that doing like the full range motion, you put a lot of tension Yuliya league on your -tendance, and then that's all injury happened. So by doing pile doing is elation you, you save all your tendon. So it's like very smart, very smart training to say, kind of your body and we're doing so many things for for balance. You know, like working on different balls, like doing squad on balls and things like that. So so if I go to the top rope or something like that, and there can get a good balance. So everything's like take it and concentration and Avs like super. Strong ads when you do moon salt, that kick of the Avs is very important. So everything you do backwards and things like that is always snap of the app. So that's very important to have strong core. So we're really working on the core to thought it's a very special, adapted workout, still doing different show. Then if this guy women, three hundred to about thirty two from nutrition standpoint, as he helping you with nutrition, then what are you eating? Well, the thing with him is like we got a space eat him. He's like eight thousand calories in the morning. Good calories. How many eight thousand eight thousand. He gets up at three in the morning. Heats all his calories is going out Kinney eight thousand calories and the morning. Well, this Bank cakes, there's all good things like, but eight thousand about yet. But he doesn't eat after that..

"Pounds lost one hundred and sixty eight pounds. That's why I think he's a guru as far as nutrition and conditioning. He knows what I need for what I do. He knows what he needs for. What he does at first I met him. He had two kids. He had his wife yet things to do was not interested in was big. Now he's so small. He kept all his strength silk kills twenty and we build them like mine over matters. I mean, it's like he's bending knows what is mine because the Shaolin monks Develey don't believe what he can do. They think bents ills would his mind and nut would strengh because it looks like a miracle and Matt striker was there when did a show at star cast? We did the live show exhibition and you know you like I do the big thing. I, I break ranch and a half, the fire prince. I, I e. Hit me with the big hammer and that great like similar blocks on my stomach. I do like the big stuff role of fried and things like that was like the micro stuff which is very hard to do and. Nobody can do like Bill Kasmin all the storm and Mark and we couldn't do good approach what he was doing so that we drains me. It's perfect for because when you train the ends, I learned that the forms gonna compensate on the ends and then the biceps going to compensate when the ends going to be tired and the triceps than the shoulders you train the whole body. So it's it's a crazy kind of workout that works out very well for me and do a lot of PEO having the rains like gymnast up and jump over one thing to the other and things like that. And a lot of is, oh, too old yourself, or you're just like mini reps this, you always isolate your muscle, things like that. So it works out good for me and some could do like a thousand, you know, like leg press on the boggy just just to to get the mind to go over a certain amount of. Of reps that your brain. Thank you can do it anymore, but you go past that, you know how old is this guy sixty years old. How did you make? I knew him because what he was doing this far as he's been doing like omen, strong stuff, you know, for forty years and he's been being new like that. A penny and a half one on TV shows and things like that. So I cross him like that was out of his Jim of something that went to would you want to train me just just my condition and just get me in shape. And when he said his, that's the last trains that does need to my dream writes LASSO strings that if you would have said, no, I think, no, I tried to cross. I tried different type of workout, but they weren't like what I really needed. And I knew at fifty was the top arm. Wrestler would the twenty years old. So I knew what he was capable of doing, and I knew was Abe. To transmit me that we were both passionate about what we're doing and he's done like the horrible classic one times four times yarn all the Arna lasting four times to do an exhibit on Arnold classic that bodybuilding show the Olympia one times and he did too. And so easy to camera and all that. Even if he's not brought up in the wrestling world, you know he's really, really camera guy. You know knows how to get, you know, peace in what does she do to train these days? If he's around one hundred and thirty two hundred thirty five pounds down from three hundred. What is his trainings dough consist of? Because I know he's still got a train. Yeah. The pass. I like my training last night just before a game here, like three hundred pounds that I had to live with the tip of my fingers like three times from the ground. And I would Li, I do like Andrei like dips but real quick. And then we have like power scare things where you sideways at gets into your your, your your ass. Basically outside your ass and app. Upside down and coming up and. Maybe like a minute, full glass foster master, like it's all giant set frontward backwards and then the leg presses and all that..

"And then then black referencing district comes to save me with the cable amount because I took it big bunk from the top rope to the apron to the cement floor. Shoot me back in the ring Dickinson. Shoot me back in the ring. I'm out district gums the cable Dickinson through the cable where he threw it. Philly ended up being the double count out, but the crowd was so mad at him. Fuck in Dickinson. Your fucking room to show of the because they wanna see me get the fuck in juice, own amazing because of were the state of the businesses. Now with everybody watching you're watching Monday night Rosh MAC down there, watching the boys and gals. I mean, everybody together watching the boys do their thing and ring, but they're judging by the rioting. You know. So it's kind of like a double edged sword. But my my point is people know what the business has been exposed enough times. But when you have something that you've invested in one hundred percent like your character and desk stroll, and he's trying to joke you part of the storyline and all of a sudden he can't, or he does, and then you Hoke up and do the thing. Being bang, boom down goes real. I mean, people still want to pay their money for. Good fashion, don't insult intelligence. They're they're paying money because they're signed up for the ride. So game that fuck and ride. I love when people buy into that stuff because I'm still a huge pro wrestling fan and I like the hardcore stuff. I like the serious stuff. My favorite period was kind of like mid eighties, like midsouth world class. You know, NWEA that's kind of style as much good stuff in Calgary that I messed Awa. I'm a seminar primetime and finally got WWF. I was down in south Texas. Going back to that scar. Who cut you open for? Shoot. That was like a doctor that knew what he was doing. How did you pay Dr disease? Hey, man, we're shooting angle and you're going to cut me open and we're going to a battery gimmicky. How many stitches did it take to close it up? It was just stapled Abel's. Would this staple discard safer tennis's loan? Yeah, it was about. Ten Staples on the carpet stapler, and I took them off the next day and I just let it you'll by itself. No, those were you doing what to do cutting on you? Just laying there? Yeah. I'm just like yelling. Just sailing. I'm just. But it wasn't that hard to do. Yeah, but then charnel Parker's, you're so crazy man. Why you don't have to do that in the business today. I said, listen, ternal. I'm going to tell you a story here. What's worse? Is that me having like a ten inches car or a guy gig all is career long, two inches one inches. Quarter inches is four as like Kuhn or someone who started like that, say on their taker started with no tattoos and for the gimmick or because he loves that through whatever is ended up with attacked sleeps a body full of tattoos. What's the difference between us car? And I've ING too sleaze tattoo. It's to me the same. You know, it looks more crazy because it goes with my story line. But when taker started having tattoos, I start thinking he's a dead man. And he's having all kinds of tattoo sort of buying into his character because all men's it all made sense. So in my point of view, I mean it made sense to do that because it was part of my character and it's a souvenir that's going to be there for two thousand eighteen for rest of my life to greatest your of my life as far as a pro wrestler because I'm making more money this year than I made in nineteen Ninety-three with Vince nineteen ninety-five when Vince nine hundred ninety eight nine hundred ninety nine or nine hundred ninety six WCW manage conversation piece for damn share. I thought court said that you most didn't get cleared the Russell because it was so gruesome. I'll always Athletic Commission or what? Yeah, I don't know what it inverse said. Anything to me before commission in New York. And yeah. What you never missed, any shots? No, they came to heal up. Never said anything. I mean, every time I was getting job, he would start bleeding and then he took like a month after month. It was like healed up. All right. Let's take quick Collins and get big up to truecar. Here's some useful car tips. You might not.

"He's from Austria, but he is really part of the w w, which is the biggest. It's a great promotion in Germany actually going there in November for the last two weeks of November. I'm going back there. I was there in two thousand eight and I'm going back there, but they're terrorist grown like. It's so the production of the show. It's almost like. Close to a WWE show. I mean, it would be not fair to say that, but I mean, you know what I'm saying? It's very professional idea of all the goals coming out on the floor and they know how to do things the productions on unbelievable and sold out all the time. Like most of the show that I'm on coming on there like seventy percent sold, and it's, you know, in November. So it's going to be sold out by the time we get there. And I don't think because I'm there. I think d'oeuvres just selling out shows like month after some credit. The home routine. You know, we all take pride in question. I was talking to court. Bauer told him as owns coming by, and he goes, oh man, you got it. Get him to tell you the story about the scarlet chest and I was, I don't know if it's the same scar, but as I was watching the match Waldron you had wicked scar on chess. You pull your straps down the same scout, no difference this scar. We'll give me give me the big scar story. I'll give you. The story court was telling me he said was pretty pretty wicked. And yeah, he wouldn't tell me because he wanted. Okay. Yeah. If you don't mind telling the story. Yeah, for the a lot of people have been following my vignettes from week to week from Monday to Monday the Franken stance yet. You know, I'm showing up at m l. w. whereas court, the president, you know, he owns a little you and all the boys like especially Colonel Parker had him as as a manager in WCW when I was their age on the funniest guys I've ever known out love Robert and my car was just on Thursday on the Tuesday, and I was resting on the Thursday. So it was just like two days that it was done. So basically this is this car, these and the story is my manager destroy, you know which video ease. He became a micrometer if you want like a dark angel entity, you know someone that never dies that never live that uses someone and decide to put you know as energy on him and make ninety greatest thing in a world would him. So it's like if you created the movie Frankenstein, what Mary Shelley now is making like full circle by choosing. C. o. dig him out of this misery, pulling on his shoulders, put the electricity on him and revive them. And that goes with the resurgence and direction of all. Everything is crossing to get her and. And then we were doing something with black craft wrestling and the ad like great production team with cameras and everything. And we decided to insert a car battery in my chess. So the cut me off for real, you know, with the knife like a surgery on my chess. So the blood was coming for real. It wasn't like movie was a real cut off and then these chess and the insert light, the battery, which was like, you know what it was when I miss. Like let's say my match against Matt riddle. Riddell was designing with Vince. It was going to was a Friday night so that the day prior on Friday was signing onto Saturday was going to be shown on the Saturday on the Friday with doing Georgia Leila loss in New York. I'm the main event against riddle. Something happened of the top row. Boom, I'm knocked out. I'm out district comes in with the car battery. The jump cables jumps me on. I start to all Cup. Riddle, cubs, John job job, no cell hall Cup shoe, boom, boom, boom, one, two, three that Crowley on Elektra fight. You know, it was. It was crazy..

"Brought me to the spring break, had the match what Walter funding, because when George was over Dona show, you know, asking about like who's hot out there. He moment moment. Peace ios. The hottest out there. I said, peace yo, because I didn't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, Jesus Christ. Are you kidding me? And then I saw the match and I was blown away gonna ask you about the physicality that match. Do your big guy. He spent a lot of time in Jim. You're always in shaping how tall and how heavy is Walter six, four, three hundred manage a hell of a damn worker, and you guys are about that long? Yeah, long as good. A big whip to sodas shops are so physical Nukus gonna get to your a tennis player. He goes out far out and you know he uses all the whip, you know on it. So that's why it comes crashing down hard. You had a circle in your chest was just purple and black yet, and you're giving them back? No doubt yet. I never was much of a chop guy. Flares shops. Never really hurt when I was in a US. Chris would hurt a little bit. Chris. Benoit's been? Yeah. Good Davis had hard jobs, and one time it was down in is work with Brian film, and he liked to overhand chop down in Florida houses about one third full and we're having good matches. We'd just split up as a Hollywood bronze and Brian's crack, man. I'm gonna cheat in a little bit. I'm kinda turn my chest or so Brian. Hey, to get to Brian critic, we went back and address restroom, take a shower, and he comes up to me. He was straight up. He goes, Steve man. He goes, listen, he goes, if you don't wanna take jobs. Right. Just tell me because they look like shit doing what you're doing. He called me on it. And I said, you're right. So from then on, took them straight on and film in you autumn and I give him credit for calling me on them. But you know, do we when you own a road every I just motherfuckers all yes. I mean like every because we were on road, we're in ring twenty five times a month and It's a little a little much. hard to be working like that twenty five days out row. But like if someone like Walter words like that with this is my style, I'll choose a guy that goes with my thought if he doesn't want to exchange, I'll respect that. But if wants to change more than open to exchange with him because I'm telling that's my take on, if you wanna give them, you gotta be able be willing to take them to agree. You cannot just give it to the others and not receive if you wanna give them received them. So that's why I keep my chest open. I'm gonna give it to you. I'll give you my chest. Right. And by the same token, just to that point, if I was working with the gadget shop, even though I'm not a chopper I would go ahead and implements jobs so I could return the favor. I mean, because I'm gonna suffer the where I'm going to give some of it back to even though it's really not in my repertoire, and that was my school of thought. Yeah. And if like you. In a position where you're say, this is part of my thal. I would respect that to use for arms. I'll use different things. I that thing with everybody I'm working with. But if I'm wording working Brody king Walter, the, I will love the chops. That's my game tonight. So I feel good doing like whatever it takes question about Walter before we move on man, big kid. He'd been working for a while. I had never heard of him because I've been insulated and I've been watching a whole lot of any stuff. And I was always in the territory system until I had to retire, and I was three. So I kind of lost touch with a lot of everything. This big kid lightning with everybody I saw. I'm crushing with you some great match Zack sabre junior with a couple of people. Yeah, he's. Why is he independent? Is he doing more business in Germany or where where's he from? "The guys got, you know how much how big you wants. I'll biggie sees himself while I'll what he wants to accomplish. What's is gold really the inside? I think it's where it all takes form. I heard you one time saying, you know, most of the people think that belts are important in. Resting. Well, God them the belt for the most important thing. And riffing if you don't wanna Belgium, not into the right sport because it's all about the belt because it's all about, you know what? She Ving something and and aiming for a goal is just about money comes with it. But at first your passion, when you're young, you're fourteen fifteen. You want to accomplish something. You want to change the world. You wanna change the wrestling world. You want to innovate. You want to bring something new. You want to be part of something big and always felt like I couldn't really say my part and that's why the the Walter mass felt like it was finally at pump out my career like was opening for maybe then years, fifteen years, twenty years every year I was opening. This is gone my this. I'm going to show them. I'm gonna pop it up, you know? And it didn't happen. But the thing for Vincent times or any other promoter targets guy, you think the guy's going to be the guy. The guy is not the guy, and I think you're the perfect example. I mean, I was never supposed to be the got a couple of fluke circumstances, the hug and Madison Square Garden, all that heat, and then the guy's going south and king of the ring. I do my mouth. Shit was a fluke, and I got lucky to hit a grand slam with the promo with Austin three sixteen, and that's the bottom line. But that was never supposed to happen. I was never supposed to be that gut, and you got lucky and you couldn't predict it know what I'm sure you envision that though. Well, you know hours. I had high hopes of being a top guy, but you know, until things happen if they don't happen and there was no plan for it to happen. So if those guys have never done that stuff and the garden had Marc Mero never kick. I'm in the mouth and that first match had I never gone to the hospital and then had Jake not cut that religious promo had Michael as doc, not told me about it. I would never come up with it. So that was all the things that needed to happen plus much more for that. For that instance to happen, you said, pop the territory, man. I ain't heard that shitting alone. Yeah, but older. Pop into territories. Like man, you somebody utes name goal, whether it's the gown top middle of bottom. And all of a sudden people say, holy shit and fucking ticket. Start flying off in the arena start getting packed pop in a territory. Yeah. And for me, I mean, it's a smaller scale, but the Walter match I was address is fighting Walter and it's like a little bit like you. It's a different story, but I'll difference are different. They're saying, so. Guy from Indian Michael blender call me around like December is I got a spot for you on my show in Indiana. So for you're okay, I'm going to go in the states. Maybe that's where everything goes right now because we always like made it from Europe, England, Germany, and Rico, and then I got signed and then try a different route this time. So I went to Indiana. He says, you can choose January thirteen or April twenty first for my show. So I said, I knew where I wanted to be for April around wrestlemainia. So I said, didn't wear thirteen. I was not in the condition that I wanted to be. I wasn't in shape that I wanted to be, but I said, have to gamble that. So I took that flight. It was a snowstorm. I stay for six hours in aircraft. Finally made it to Chicago drove to Indiana had fifteen minutes. Put my match, Ethan page was there's a great worker. We put a hell of a good match together for what we add. You know it was a great match. Georgia Leila was there what's my match? And right after my magic man, I want you for my spring break. So imagine all the destiny things that if I chosen the twenty first of April, I missing everything. So I chose the thirteen of January Joey. Was there..

And at that point I don't think that had ever been done. Certainly devastating things have been done, but I don't think he'd dropped a leg on announce table from atop turnbuckle som- laying there, and I'm thinking, shit, man, maybe he's just going to get down and just come get me all of a sudden, man, he jumped off night. He wants to. Have a great match and means like, okay, I did the main that the the night before then deficient night. And that's my third night. And now I'm going. The guy was slimy in Symon blocks, or you know some crazy stuff, and I'm cutting a situation where have to go for it because I cannot put the breakdown, you know. So it's always boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. So it's really actioning it. It's it's really working hard every night. There's no night off. Dude, you ride the lightning boat which got to keep riding. You can't get knocked off this point. No. Let me ask you about Russell mania. Thirty four weekend. It was George Annella spring break. You're working with Walter and this was a breakout match for you. And you knew that. I mean, because you wanted to do that moon salt, you wanna get all that good. You said the indie world on fire. It was just like a big Ashby twelve shot and your career, all of a sudden like, hey, man. Well, first of all, y'all ripped it up an awesome match. It wasn't just about the moon saw was great. A match was so physical. It was just great storytelling. Yeah, I think everything clicked and. It's one of those moment were always say, I'm sure you will understand what I'm thinking here promoter always waiting for a guy to pop hysteria dorey as a wrestler. I'm sure you felt like that. You'll always thinking this is my year. I'm gonna pop it up, you know, because we have high expectation. We want to be the best at what we do. And sometimes I was cutting the meeting with, you know, John or Vince or any other agent and who do things going to be the next big thing here WWE going to be the next cold. It's going to be the next rot was going to be the next. You know. And like, I'm thinking, okay, I don't wanna see myself. Look like, you know, I'm out of my mind, but the down inside I wish I could say my name, but it would make sense to them maybe because they don't have any ideas for me or don't have any gimmicks for me or they don't have any way that there can think it's going to happen. So I'm going along and I'm saying, John, just give me your idea on this and they came up with like three or four names and never happen because you don't know deep down inside all much desire..
