How We've Been using Community's SMS As Another Marketing Channel
"Welcome to another episode of Marketing School I'm Eric. Su and I'm tall and today we're going to be talking about how we've been using community. That's community DOT COM were you've been using their SMS features as another marketing channel. So Neil, do you WANNA kick it off by explaining what community DOT COM is and I'll talk about what we've been doing. Sure. So if you listen to our podcast for awhile, you'll notice that the end of some episodes or even at the beginning of some episodes will tell you hey, Texas, and we'll give out a number of what's number. Is Three One oh, three, four, nine, three, seven, eight, five. and. I recommend that you Texas at this number. So you can get a feel of how it is but community is application that allows you to have text based communication with people thinking about how you do email messaging. You can do Massimo messaging you can personalize emails think of all those feeds looped in together in a from called community helps you personalize things and helps you automate things as well and that have your own phone number versus people texting like a short coder like that. So it makes it more personal than let's say someone doing a vote for American idol. Yep We've been using community for maybe let's call it a month or month and a half, and it's been great because we have a small group of people about two, hundred, fifty people and the list continues to get bigger. But when we're about to record, let's were recording today it's a it's a Friday what will do is we will text a group saying, Hey, what are your biggest marketing struggles right now or what are your biggest business challenges and a bunch of topics will flow through and I've actually dropped a couple of topics in here and so that actually makes our lives a lot easier. So a great for that plus people are actually seeing their topics live. As well, but the other thing we're doing to is were announcing when we're doing things because if we're trying to create a community telling people that, hey, we're going to be doing this live right now you guys can join us or let's say a meal both in La we say, Hey, you know we're going to be doing the meet up. You know it's going to be on us. There'd be doing the happy hour and everyone can join on. That's in the area that's core because it it fosters that impersonal communication. So there's a lot of different ways to use community but just think. Of It. This way your open rates when it comes to text messaging, I opened probably nine percent of texts that are sent to me. Your open rates are a lot higher and the the click rate has while I'm looking at our stats. You know when we send a link, it's like forty to fifty percent clicks rate. So the engagement is very high right now and usually when a when there's a hot new channel, this engagement rates are really high and I think more and more people are going to use it. I just don't get regulator not because I was talking to a body. It'll probably get regulators is the question of what I've already seen things circling around about regulations happening with SMS Yarka and I believe it because businesses aren't using like crazy right now but that will definitely change within a few years and then you're GonNa see all these rules and regulations of privacy concerns. It's like telemarketing. It's still hard core. Now, they still haven't managed to crack the code on that but for the time being there's a lot of different apps you can use out there community dot com one that that we use I believe they're investors are like Ashton Kutcher diddy in in in these people did tell you about the spam starting to get now on my iphone? No. There's facetime, right? Yeah. And the sad part is my email and phone number out there all over the web right 'cause like on social profile for so many years the amount of calls they get a days ridiculous on average publica. Forty fifty calls on any given day literally forty fifty calls from people I don't know and this is non like telemarketers is like people because it's in your signature everywhere right? Signature as well. That was like a million emails. Email, million people like you're GONNA get messages. But now, I'm starting to get facetime spam and you can see people just trying to face him in and like sometimes you can see like the email address has the name of based have instead of like a phone number, some really dating sites and I'm like I don't even know why just ignore it because I'm like I'm married I, have a wife I'm happy and like I know people are just trying to spam and scammy for money or whatever it may be but there's behavior here. For everyone just wants to make money. Yes. short-term thinking. But anyway guys, we think it's great for right now I think just use it in by the way the what the one thing I'll say about how we use to his were pretty non spammy. We send maybe one message awake and that's it. So we don't to send multiple messages. We just say, Hey, we're doing this and we'll say reply if you actually want the link and then we just check a bunch of. People that want to link, and we'll just send them the link and that's something that can be delegated to. If you happen to have assistance on your team, you could just do that and community has a dashboard that you can be using to. So Neil, I can give ask the Neil and he can give access to other people. So it's it's pretty cool in that respect.

Rihanna says she still loves Chris Brown, have 'a very close friendship'
"Today Daily Property Yana reveals she still loves Chris. Brown. Well, at least she did back in two thousand twelve oprah just reposted an interview to her super soul conversations podcast Arianna Open Dabbagh. Chris and whether she could forgive him, here's what she said. We've been working on our friendship began. Now we're very, very close friends. With built a trust again unless it like we love each other and probably always will an. Anything that we're going to try to team not something you can shut off if you've ever been in love You're seeing each other again. He's in a relationship of his own. I'm single. Do you think Chris Brown is a true love for you? Absolutely. I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love. And I see that he loved me the same way. A lot of people thought that it was unforgivable. Have you forgiven him? I have forgiven him. Wow. So this was a very serious and shocking interview. Do you think Riana still feels this way again, hundred mine the audience this isn't old interview that just got reposted. Here's the thing. And I said this in two, thousand twelve and I'm GonNa say it again in twenty twenty. For Riana I, feel like she never really got the closure she deserved in this situation. And anytime, there is three hundred and fifty million people influencing your decision you are going to go with what you think people want to see. So I truly believe had those photos not come out had we all known it? She probably would have went back into that relationship and then realized that it wasn't for her and then left but she never got that chance because everybody was in the business again I would not have told her to go back but I know some people do. And I know that's why a lot of relationships lingers because people never get that closure people feel like they never ever got that chance to say, Hey, I'm done I've grown out of this and I can't be a part of this. It's almost like she feels forced out of the relationship based on other people's opinions and everybody weighing in you know word on the street and this is super inside information. This I'm not even sure if this is correct, but there has been talks for years that this is obvious and it might have even been printed. So I don't know if I'm like dropping a bomb, but they've gotten into several altercations, physical altercations in the past where they were both. Physical towards each other right exact. Anyway. So there was a lot of speculation about that behind the scenes, kind of more under the radar for years that had been going on between them. Unfortunately, this incident did catch wind of the media and the public, and there were the photos that were leaked, which were absolutely horrific should have never happened so I do feel like you know that altercation happened when she was very much in love with somebody things got very out of hand and they were not okay H. and never get to that point. But then the entire world jumped in and was like you cannot love this man you need to leave. It was like, Whoa Whoa WHOA WHOA WHOA so it's kind of like one. J. Lo had to leave diddy when that whole court case was going on you know what I mean. It was just not good for her image she had to separate herself. So I feel like this does not surprise me at all that her feelings still linger. Of course, it was her first love they were like you feel that magnetic chemistry between them and then do you remember she did this interview and then she pop back up I was doing daily pop has more in the beginning and they had the the photo of them are in front of the car. You know what I'm talking about I was trying to forget that right now. I was trying to prevent it. They kindled for periods of time. Don't forget the birthday cake remix to when she came out with the song everybody say yes and then the remix came and it was him on the remix and she didn't want anybody. So it was like Oh. Maybe they're getting back together. Yeah Ain't nobody's business you remember that song. I know I it's such a complicated relationship with the pan. The band ain't got pulled off before she was ready to process it as remember in this interview, she goes on to talk about how it was. Really. took her long time to really realize where where she falls in like what love is supposed to look like because of her relationship with her father and she openly talked about how her father was used to her mother and so those when you grow up in that kind of situation, it's deeper than just. It's it's learning what love's supposed to look like learning love is and she was very young when this happened and as you guys said, it just took time to process all that I. Don't think that Riana still wants to be with Chris Brown in any way that ship has sailed I just think then there's like this love of while we never got to end it how we wanted to I never got that closure. It took me years to process how I even felt in that moment. I decided. No I feel like she wants to go back I feel like she wants to do it again but she knows that people are going to talk so much smack about her. If she goes back down people get week we're that bag I can't believe she did it I'm telling you. About. Why Since then I don't think. So yeah, why do you think the real quick Oprah's been reposting some of our old interviews, but she did not put a disclaimer like this is old this is from two thousand twelve. Do you think is kind of annoyed that this came out again? I don't think so I think when you go on Oprah, it's never easy conversation I. mean you had cookie Johnson talking about her husband's HIV status. You've had Whitney talked about her drug addictions Whitney Mother's talking about Sexuality Oprah is the place where you're going to go and have that hard conversation and once you say it, it's GonNa live on forever. So no, it's old t for sure but it's Oprah's status bill she pave.
SPACE WEEK: Every Moon, Ranked
"Too small notes before we hit you with some hot moon takes one. Obviously, we're not talking about all one hundred and fifty moons. We picked handful from the top ten, and then we'll do a lightning round on some others. All of these bodies meet the technical definition of Moon meaning they orbit an asteroid or a planet, not the Sun. Second Note. Jennifer's list also includes a few of what NASA calls provisional moons. These are bodies that are kind of, let's say unofficial maybe haven't been studied that well or confirmed yet. Yeah. So. I want to add that the scientists that I spoke to. They said that they're probably way more moons out there that we haven't even discovered yet. Well. So cool. Okay. All right. So number ten on your list diddy moon yet say, yes is did he moon? So, did he moon it's not circling a planet. It is actually circling an asteroid it. It is very tiny. It's about five hundred, twenty, four feet in diameter and it's orbiting. The asteroid diddy. Moss in it's it's kind of part of a very cool future NASA mission, right? Yes. So did he moon is part of a really important the item mission and the item mission is like this cosmic dress rehearsal basically, NASA wants to send a spacecraft to slam into diddy moon and knock it off course. Now I know what you're thinking. It sounds pretty familiar and yes, it is essentially the plot of Armageddon. Show me. But it's a really really important mission in it's going to help us test one of the ways that we think we might be able to potentially deflect a hazardous object that might be pearling towards earth. So cool. Okay. Number six called by one expert you talk to the most underrated moon in the solar system orbiting Jupiter Ganymede Ganymede. Ganymede is such a fascinating world Ganymede is the largest moon in our solar system. It's actually larger than Mercury Ganymede is also the only moon that we've known to have a magnetosphere. Cool. Earth has a magnetosphere and it's essentially this covering this kind of magnetic shell that we have of charged particles and what it does. It actually protects us from harmful radiation. So there's tons of radiation that's generated by the sun and from interstellar space, and that magnetosphere protects us it's potentially allowed life to form. Can I tell you that I am horrified to report I thought Ganymede was a made up moon Scifi show the expanse. Oh. Yes on that. Farm on Ganymede and I'm like it was a fun made up plays I love that shout the expanse it's a great show. Yeah no can't meet is just so fascinating. So number four on your list orbiting Neptune. Triton. Yes. Triton is an absolute misfit. First of all I will say it looks just like a cantaloupe if you look at the picture. How was ranked keep going I, mean, that is, of course, the important feature. But really, what's cool about Triton is that it's essentially this kind of Pluto sized object that we believe has been captured by Neptune and now orbits the planet and temperatures on Triton and we we know this thanks to the voyager two spacecraft but temperatures on Triton have dipped as low as minus three hundred ninety one degrees Fahrenheit. Super Cold Nope nope. nope. nope things. But it's partially because it's got like this ice covered surface right and that reflects a ton of the light that it receives that it's by. Yeah absolutely. That's that's another really weird thing about Tritan on it has what's called an incredibly high Albedo. So that's basically a measurement of how much late a body reflects. and. Triton's is actually really high. It reflects about seventy percent of the sunlight. It receives I'm like in Triton I'm going to be honest with you Ganymede. But I'm like Triton right now array. Okay. Time for the top three Jennifer. Are you prepared I? Think so bronze-medal orbiting Saturn Moon. That contains the big four ingredients for life hydrogen carbon nitrogen and oxygen enceladus. Yeah. So enceladus is absolutely fascinating moon. So the Cassini mission when it arrived to observe Saturn's moons, it noticed that there were jets spewing out of ENCELADUS, right? So they actually took a detour and had Cassini swing through those jets to collect samples of that liquid into turned out to be liquid water right? I remember when that happened that was wild. That was like a big deal. Yes. Absolutely, and so it really spurred a lot of interest in enceladus. Of course, we love Europa. But enceladus is really this kind of new and exciting moon and you know as you mentioned, it has the big four ingredients for life. That's really just an incredible sign that this might be one of the places where we find life. Okay. Number two on the list orbiting Jupiter lot of Okano's and some lightning. I oh. Yes. So I will admit that I have some volcanic. I really love of volcanoes. Thank you for disclosing that conflict of interest Jennifer I have to be I have to be honest. I'm anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love volcanoes. So naturally, I O, which is the most volcanically active body in our solar system would have to take second there are over four hundred volcanoes on the surface of Iowa and they spew jets of. Lava hundreds of miles and two space. It's really incredible. Okay. So this is the wildest thing about Iot to me is that I owe can generate like true current. Yes. So of all of the Galilee and moons of Jupiter, Iowa's actually the closest to Jupiter and so sweeps through its magnetic field and that causes it to create this electric current it can generate. As much as three million amperes, and actually this jolt of electricity is then shot back to Jupiter and it creates lightning in the planet's. Fear I mean, that's cooler than the volcanoes. Some some people would say that. Yes. Okay. Your number one moon Jennifer orbiting. Saturn. A Moon I could walk on with potentially nothing more than an oxygen. Mask Titan. So Titan. Is. The only other place that we've observed so far that has a thick substantial atmosphere. So our atmosphere of course is. Critical for life here on earth and tighten, it has a similar has a sort of similar atmospheric also mostly composed of nitrogen but the second most common gas in the atmosphere is actually methane. So right. So instead of like US having oxygen the next most abundant compound in that moons atmosphere in Titan's atmosphere is methane. Yeah. Absolutely, and you think about Earth, we have a water on earth all. Three phases of water on earth. So there's liquid and gas and ice but on Titan you have liquid methane on the surface, which is really really incredible. It's the only other body in the solar system that we've observed to have liquid on its surface, and these are rivers and lakes and seas of methane and ethane part of the reason why it's got this like, orange Gooby Hayes, around the moon. Yes. So Essay in the methane on those hydrocarbons, that kind of creates it's it's really this I feel like it's really beautiful. It's this kind of soft orangish glow. So it looks a little bit fuzzy whereas other moons that don't have an atmosphere they. They look very sharp but this is very, it's a very muted known. It's. Yeah. Beautiful I think. Yeah. So. Before we go Jennifer we had to leave out a of sweet moons. So we're GONNA do lightning round. I'm going to mention a moon from your list and you give us one moon. Moon Pinions, but moon fax perfect. That sounds great. Okay. Number Forty, one Jupiter's moon ammonia. Yes. So a Mafia is actually the object in our solar system and we aren't one hundred percent. Sure. Why beautiful reds my favorite coloreds promoted to thirty one. Okay Number Twenty Jupiter's Moon Callisto. So Callisto is thought to have the. Surface in the entire solar system. Pretty Sweet. Okay. Number eighteen and nineteen combined also Saturn Moons Atlas and Pan. Atlas and Pan Look like giant Ravioli with aerial around their equator. It's so much fun. Okay. Number Thirteen one of the two moons around Mars Phobos some phobos is a giant rubble pile on track to either fling itself into Mars or split apart in orbit on some missions. Actually proposed a pit stop on the tiny moon on our way to the Red Planet love it. Okay. Number Eleven, Maranda orbiting Uranus. So Miranda is home to Verona Rupe. It's the tallest cliff in the solar system. If you fell off its edge, you would have time to read the newspaper before you hit the ground. Okay.

"It was watching something one time. I don't know what signed P. Diddy or puff daddy or whatever. He calls himself now but I was watching something when he was growing his agents who got fired and he posted on I think one of the stories on social media because it was so funny because I really. Two days ago was saying the same thing when I got off a call with somebody anything that in life that I want I'm going to get praise and he was like. The call call I guess they're going to deal with like MTV back this back in those days near sided cassette tapes inside of his office. He was throwing it around and like banging around anything I, WANNA get like what can't you do I'll do it I could do anything that's how you that's how I feel. Because I've whenever I'M GONNA give my intention to I. I'm willing to accomplish this because I'm willing to die right then. Right then because I can't go back. Like I'm going to get too personal but like my background in my struggle in my journey, my parents like my dad's sacrifice his whole life to be able to afford my sister go and have the cure that she had because she was born handicapped and I watched her breathe through tubes or whole life, and if that doesn't give you any inspiration holy crap about the people that say I can't do something much my mom be cancer eight back surgeries overcoming adversity. So here's what I'm going with any kind of listeners listening into this. I have no excuse I came back. and. That's how I was able to break the cycle. Because, there's there's my back's against the wall every day. Every. Yeah. Of course, I have a lot of reserves there I can't think about all those reserves I'm thinking about right now. So, there's an outcome that I gotta get to that's going to happen. You can bet your last dollar I'm GONNA win. That the field that coming from the same tenacity but obviously It comes through a different way. You're able to explain a little bit more eloquent than I do. But I'm ferocious. Don't sit next to me in a room. You might have a couple of four letter words that come out but it's going to be a lot of energy good or bad in it pretty much depends on on the way that you interpret that energy and take it. Because I'm GONNA bring. I'm bringing it today if every day I'm win because I'm dedicated. To do everything on needed to do to make that happen. It sounds like you have that within your organization at Culture, I'm I'm really curious to know learn more about you every single time that I have a conversation with the but for the most part I mean working our listeners, right? Joe Biden close to picking a running mate
"Joe Biden said last week that he'd pick his running mate this week. But he did not say when that announcement would be made. Fox's Jackie Heinrich reports it could happen any time as the convention draws closer. All eyes are on Wilmington for any sign of movement. Biden hasn't indicated who's at the top. But a number of contenders have been raking in big bucks for his campaign. Senator Elizabeth Warren tops the mall with 7.7 million. So far. Senator Kamala Harris rounds out second with more than five million, according to Politico. But Biden will also have to consider mounting pressure to select a black VP. More than 100 blackmail leaders, including Sean Diddy Combs and Charlemagne, the God wrote, failing to select a black woman in 2020 means you will lose theologian. You really have to hear it. To believe it. It comes with compassion, melon and comes with sold and we call it so we're soul brothers and sisters. That's the melon in that connect all the people that don't have it have are are a little and I'm going to say this carefully are a little less. And and where the term actually comes because I'm bringing it all the way back around to the Minister Farrakhan so where they may not have the compassion or the So there's more melon and comes with compassion and in where the term actually comes because I'm bringing it all the way back around to Minister Farrakhan. So where they may not have the compassion or the When they were sent to the mountains of Caucasus when they when they didn't have the power of the sun that was that the sun then started to deteriorate. So then they're acting out of fear. They're acting out of low self esteem. They're acting out of a deficiency, so therefore the only way that they can act is even White People act out of fear out of lack of self esteem and out of a a deficiency from the actual color. He's talking about pigmentation here from the color of their skin, and so they are evil. This is what I did what the guy says his own vodka. He goes on to even refer in greater detail to how he thinks about what he thinks of white people refers to them as savages. As barbarians who came down from their Nordic mountains to quote, rape, steal and kill. Because of their all because of their lack of pigment. This is got to be the most Overtly explicitly and clearly racist thing I've ever I've ever seen from a major media star. I mean, certainly in many years. It was at least been awhile. I'm sure OK, There's been worse stuff in the past, but it's been a while since I've seen anything like this. On DH. People are going to forget about this in a day or two. In fact, Sean P. Diddy, I don't know if he's Didi now, or P. Diddy or Puff Daddy or Puff Diddy or whatever. Sean Combs, the You know. Media mogul entrepreneur etcetera offered him a job today after CBS Viacom Fired him or ended their relationship with them. However, however, you cared to put that Here is what Nick Cannon said about Jewish people on his show. Who are they? When we when we speak of because this is where it truly is. When we talk about the six corporations when we talk when we go is deep is the Rothchild centralized banking? The 13 families, the bloodlines that control everything, even outside of America, right? Talk about the people if we were truly the Children of Israel. And we're defining who that Jewish people are because I feel like if we actually can understand that construct, then we can see that there is no hate involved. When we talk about lies that the sea the how the fake dollar controls all of this, then maybe we can get to the reason why they wanted to silence you why they want to silence the fare con and they want to know that we're having hate speech when it's never hate speech. When it's not right. You can't be anti Semitic. When the Semitic way R This is medically. But when we are the same people that you Who they want to be. Now I understand it's not really clear. What he's saying. And it is clear that Nick Cannon Is not an especially bright fellow. But, yeah, he talked about the Rothschild banking, money. Jews. Victoria Chang: Obit (Part One)
"I rent her for the first time. After I read a review of her new book in The Los Angeles Review of books the book is called Albeit. It's published by the Wonderful Poetry Press Copper Canyon and I have been living in the wake of my parents death for some time and been living in an amalgam of grief and sorrow and memory loss and this book obe. It is remarkable book about the death of the poets parents written in the form of orbits of obituaries brief obits eventually as the book proceeds golfed is lost is language dies. The death of the parent is the death of much of what we value in life. If we allow ourselves to feel it now as I understand it this book had a burst of Creation. That led to your writing poem after poem after poem. What was that like? It was exhausting actually but necessary My mom died in in August of Twenty fifteen and it was so incredibly depressing in so many ways and the typical things that happen to people. You know you just feel so so bad worse than you've ever felt and could imagine that you could ever feel and I've always written as a way to sort of navigate the world but I didn't want to write traditional allergies for all sorts of reasons and so I just read a lot in those may be six to eight months when I wasn't writing anything in I read a lot of nonfiction. Actually so books about grief. Joan diddy in Meghan. O'rourke really wonderful writers. I I read them all and Sometime in maybe February or March I was sitting in a car and listening to NPR and Heard a piece on a documentary called obits in the documentary is all about obituary writers. And so there's just something about the way that that word just hung in my ears with that long and short t- that I went home in started just writing these obituaries. Pichu Aries for everything that we lose when someone dies and that's sort of what happened with this process. It was two weeks I hardly slept. Hardly ate ice just sort of kept on going and it was this really Cathartic Less Azeri process for my own grieving. Had that ever happened to you before a period of inspiration. That didn't let up. Yeah I after I had my children. I just didn't have any time left for any so I'm sure lots of people of your listeners can relate to that and Yes so I ended up writing. Starting maybe with my third book the boss which Mix Sweeney's did and I just you know right in pockets so any pocket that I can find if I'm feeling that I in that sort of how Britain since that book is in you know in cars in waiting for them to finish things and That kind of inspiration kind of hits me now in ways it. It never used it before. And I don't know if that's a function of just getting older or just not having time or a combination of all those things and feeling a lot more passion and deep nece and Emotions that I hadn't felt before when I was younger. This tawdry book bit by my Guest Victoria. Jiang was that rare thing for poetry books. It was useful. It was giving me instruction on because among the obituaries there are several that Vittoria rights for herself. The self who knew her parents who lived with her parents. You become aware really. That part of your grief is for the person you knew before who took it. As a matter of course that your parents might be elderly. They might be ill but they were always there and suddenly a language that you're used to speaking that you don't really necessarily regard is particularly consulting. That language is gone and you need. It's consolation anyone. Who's how'd anyone died? Hardly feels all of these things But I had never experienced that before and you know my father is actually still alive but he died twelve years ago in my mind because he lost all of his ability to communicate to me in ways that we used to talk In my mother you know used to have a very sort of our own language in many ways and it sounds so cliche but every single person I feel like we know where we need and we know well. We have our own special way of communicating with that person and special looks. You know little little ways of not saying things or just words that only use with each other and when they die. You don't really think about this when they're alive because you take them for granted but they take it all away with them.

Oh Yeah I'm in the middle of the fucking pandemic like out of your Dress Pie. Like ninety percent of your stress should be. I think we don't even really give us permission and to be aware of the about dealing in compounds everything because you can't do your usual things of like seeing somebody going on a day. Yeah it is going to stretch your legs like or whatever it is you. Kids are highly unusual. Time one hundred percent highly highly. Nobody on earth and less like we were talking. Abou unless they are a hundred in two or three know what this is like an even those old people were baby so they can't we be like Susan you're one hundred and three. What should we do? She's like? I was pooping my pants. Like I don't know I was not cognizant during this literally nobody on earth has been through this before so that's a good reminder that we're going through some fucking cray time we're GONNA be talking about four years. People are going to be talking about this when we're gone. Well we got some for you so distant we got to also we have a great Kwanza special we'd like to do featuring part of the ball that that old evergreen always good. Oh on top of things that you should be stressed out and worried about this but murder. Hornets are GONNA kill us all. I'm how honest one to ten. How frightened should I be fifteen? On a scale of one to ten. You should be literally negative one. Unless you're a honeybee if you're a honeybee then you need to be terrified but you like okay. Here's the thing and I got on my horse. I don't I go onto facebook. I lurk around but I never really post because it just gets a little too on facebook just like it gets too crazy. It's rare to see a post from you and when I did see a post from you My eyes just went what she got to say yet. Because I can't everybody and their mother is like murderer killed fifty people a year Japan. We're GONNA die. Some people are like the locust murder. We're all GonNa die and I had to be like okay. Wait a minute. Let's take a pause in okay so fifty people per year. Okay alright that sounds like a lie but let's also think about the country of Japan? Yeah how big is the population of the country Japan? A hundred and twenty six point five million people. Okay so I don't WanNa just do math right. I was GONNA say she brought them back on it. Okay okay hidden hidden figures a week. Reveal those things as a math though we get a one hundred twenty six point. Five million fifty divided by one hundred six point zero zero two percent or something. Yeah like you have more of a chance of dying than probably like getting hit by lightning bolt. I could be wrong about that but I think we'll find out of a hundred and twenty six point. Five million people like when you go to Japan. People aren't like warning merging to see. You know I mean this is the honestly the first time I had heard about. It was from your facebook post really and then I had a dream that I got hacked by Hornets. In an addict was supposed to be like mellow down alarmed. We even more nightmare. Did you read that like in Chile? I had no I think in the back of my mind and my dream I knew I was going to be okay but it was alarming because there was lot of Hornets Biz buzzing around and then I turned into one. I don't know what that means. Well there's that too I mean it means that you got business to do because they'd be busy busy bees wait. I do have to point this out the murder. Hornets are serious. For honey. Bees though in honeybees already endangered. So that's why we're on top of it here in the country route. One thing that we're on top of when my God imagine that trump loves honey. I mean who doesn't he's just Winnie the Pooh ended on his honey jar. Eight now is coming up. Thinks okay. They're both orange. Oh so the Hornets murder honey. Beyond so yeah so. That's why we need to be on alert and I think like if you see one you report it and then they can track it and make sure that it doesn't settle in this country. Which is what they should have did with Cova. Nineteen here we are. We are so. Just take the initiatives that we're doing for murder Hornets and do it for Cova. Nineteen exactly I have I just. I bought my first beyond meat package recently. Tasty it's delicious isn't it? Yeah a lot of this of the top cove in eighteen mother nature. Just like all right. You need to cool it on these.

Was Diddy right about forcing Joe Biden to have an agenda for Black people?
"You never really know who's going to shine during a pandemic during a crisis but A person in a voice that I think has really stepped up in a major way has been Naomi Campbell who has done some amazing interviews and And even just had some conversations herself about the pandemic about politics and Of course I mean she is a woman who's traveled and seeing the entire world but she's just been brilliant throughout the pandemic with just deep insights and thoughts and yesterday she had a conversation with diddy and apart of that conversation was about the presidential race and did he gave his thoughts on it. And I want to play that clip for you now. Black born is now going to be for free. We're going to have to see some promises. What are we in return for? I'll quote nothing has changed for Black America and in order for us to vote for biding. We can't be taken for granted like we always because we're supposed to be Democrats off because people are afraid and trump so I was going to take him out. Community level was to make a deal. This is business at this point. You know we can't truth follow. Titians you know so. We WanNa know very clearly just like trump made it clear that he wanted to build the wall vitamins to make clear that he's GonNa Change Lives in quality of life of black and Brown people else. He can't get the boat. I will hold a vote hostage. Ivine now. I saw and heard that clip earlier this morning when my friend. Sholom in God. He posted it and he posted a loan. Caption if you go to my instagram now or Charlemagne's Instagram I reposted Charlemagne's caption where you could just go to Charlemagne's page and check it out for yourself. I agree with everything they did. He said they're like I. I would say it even stronger. I think it's it's ridiculous to say otherwise but it's a bit of a roar test Which wish if the ink blood tests where you Somebody shows you ink blots and you tell them what you see I heard what did he said. It was like Yep. That's right we need to make sure that Joe Biden actually has an agenda for us and I I heard that and I'm like yeah of course. What other scenario are we saying that we don't care if Joe Biden has an agenda for us because what did he is saying is true? Black people almost exclusively put Joe Biden in the position. He's in right now and he doesn't come close to winning. The presidential election in November without the black vote and all saying is. Hey we need to let him know. Hey if you actually in real life want us to show up and vote for you like in a major way if you want us to put you over the top talk to US clearly about your agenda show us the policies show us the plans show us the strategies instead of just saying that you're going to be different than trump or that. You're better than trump. Can WE BE PRACTICAL. Can you talk to us about your economic policies? Can you talk to us about your justice policies? Can you talk to us about your healthcare community development policies? Can You? Can you speak on these things? And I see several of my friends including Kenny Burns who? I'm doing an interview with later this afternoon saying. Hey Hey that's reckless asked my brother Isaac as the third also posting. Hey everything they did. He said right. There was completely wrong and I was shocked because everything I heard in everything charlemagne heard and and I see many of you even on my instagram debating. It right now. I agree with every bit of it. It's outrageous I mean if it's a city council person if it's a local mayor if it's if it's a state representative if somebody for Congress we should always require of them that they have an agenda that as much as we can make it is binding that they have some type of binding commitment to our concerns and other people are saying no no no. No No. Don't say that. Don't say that you just need to vote for Joe Biden no matter what. And here's the thing. Black folks are gonNA show up and vote for Joe Biden Black Folk vote almost ninety five percent for the Democratic candidate and black folk will show up. But what we know in Michigan in Wisconsin in a place like Georgia Florida North Carolina and others. Is that if you actually want to win? Black folk have to go all out and we saw that in two thousand and eight and two thousand twelve of course with Barack Obama but black folk while black folks showed up to vote in huge numbers for Hillary Clinton in any place where the turn out was depressed even a little bit in in Milwaukee in Wisconsin or in Michigan. She lost. And it's okay for us to say to Democratic candidates to democratic nominees. And let's be real as I record this. It's still April. Were still in the primary. It's okay in April to say. Hey Joe Biden I wanna make sure you actually have an agenda for US okay. Like that's not an let's be real did he is not making threat. He is saying that we all deserve to have a presidential candidate. That has an agenda that actually represents our needs. Our concerns are our biggest issues and that they have to have a plan. And we wanna see it because what we've seen for most of our lives is presidential candidates who desperately rely on our vote but have no agenda for us have no plans for us. They plan on being generally nice. But we need something more than general nicety like we need people that have an actual policy agenda for the concerns and issues that we have and I'm grateful For diddy who didn't say. Hey I'm not voting for Joe Biden he just said Hey We're at the stage. In American history where the Democratic candidate needs to have a serious agenda for black folk and anybody who looks at this situation says otherwise is ridiculous and I see other people saying. Hey He's saying that from a place of privilege I don't I don't understand that. No He's saying it from a position of authority of somebody who generally doesn't go into making a deal with somebody unless the deal is good for everybody in what we want to understand is HBO. We're GONNA make this deal with you. Not only where you are the Democratic nominee but where we go all out to make sure you win the race. Exactly what are you going to do? And if that's a problem for you saying something like that then we need to have a big conversation like we need to go deeper if saying that much Riles you up. And gets you frustrated? Then you have probably been eating crumbs under the table for so long that you are used to people over promising and under delivering. You're used to not getting anything like the U. S. just the standard and so I see a lot of what I think are just outrageous. Criticisms of what he said I think people understandably so so badly want to defeat Donald trump that they are afraid to even ask Joe Biden for favor and is lying. No no we can do. Both we can defeat Donald Trump and in April still argue that they are some things. Joe Biden needs to do and do differently for him to garner our full support.
Every Moon, Ranked
"Too small notes before we hit you with some hot moon takes one. Obviously we're not talking about all one hundred fifty eight moons. We picked a handful from the top ten and then we'll do a lightning round on some others. All of these bodies meet the technical definition of Moon meaning they orbit an asteroid or planet not the Sun Second Note. Jennifer's list also includes a few of what NASA calls provisional moons. These are bodies that are kind of let's say unofficial maybe haven't been studied that well or confirmed yet. Yeah and so I wanna add that the scientists that I spoke to. They said that they're probably way more. Moons out there that we haven't even discovered yet well so cool okay all right so number ten on your list. Diddy moon yet. That how I say where is did he moon So did he moon. It's not circling a planet. It is actually circling an asteroid wall. It is very tiny. It's about five hundred twenty four feet in diameter and it's orbiting The Asteroid Diddy Moss in. It's it's kind of part of a very cool future NASA mission right. Yes so did he. Moon is part of a really important mission. The item mission and the item mission is like this. 'cause MIK dress rehearsal. Basically NASA wants to send a spacecraft to slam into Diddy Moon. And knock it off course now. I know you're thinking it sounds pretty familiar. And yes. It is essentially the plot of Armageddon Shiny. But it's a really really important mission in. It's going to help us. Test one of the ways that we think we might be able to potentially deflect a hazardous object that might be hurdling towards earth. So cool okay. Number six called by one expert you talk to the most underrated moon. In the solar system orbiting Jupiter Ganymede. Ganymede Ganymede is such a fascinating world. Ganymede is the largest moon in our solar system. It's actually larger than mercury. Ganymede is also the only moon that we've known to have a magnetosphere cool earth has a magnetosphere and it's essentially this covering this kind of magnetic shell that we have of charged particles and what it does is it actually protects us from harmful radiation. So there's tons of radiation that's generated by the sun and from interstellar space and that magnetosphere protects us. It's potentially allowed life to form. Can I tell you that I am horrified to report that I thought Ganymede was a made up? Moon Sci fi show the expanse oh yes farm on Ganymede and I'm like Oh that's a fun made up plays. I love that shout to the expanse. It's a great show. Yeah Gimme that is just so fascinating. So number four on your list orbiting Neptune Triton. Yes the training is an absolute misfit. First of all I will say it looks just like a cantaloupe. If you look at the picture was ranked keep going. I mean that is of course the important feature but really what's cool about Triton is that it's essentially this kind of Pluto sized objects that we believe has been captured by Neptune and now orbits the planet And temperatures on Triton. And we we know this. Thanks to the. Voyager two spacecraft but temperatures on Triton have dipped as low as minus three hundred ninety one degrees Fahrenheit super cold. Nope no thanks. No but it's partially because it's got like this ice covered surface right. And that reflects a ton of the light that it receives is that it's fine. Yeah absolutely. That's that's another really weird thing about Tritan. It has what's called an incredibly high Albedo. So that's basically a measurement of how much light a body reflects and Triton's is actually really high. It reflects about seventy percent of the sunlight. It receives. I'm like in Triton. I'm going to be honest with you. Got a good at it. But I'm like Triton right now all right okay time for the top three Jennifer. Are you prepared? I think so. Bronze-medal orbiting Saturn Moon that contains the big four ingredients for life. Hydrogen Carbon Nitrogen and oxygen enceladus. Yes so enceladus is an absolutely fascinating moon so the Cassini mission when it arrived to observe Saturn's moons it noticed that there were spewing out of enceladus so they actually took a detour and had Cassini swing through those jets to collect samples of that Liquid into turned out to be liquid water right. I remember when that happened. That was wild. That was like a big deal. Yes absolutely and so it really spurred a lot of interest in enceladus of course we love Europa but enceladus really this kind of new and exciting moon and as you mentioned it has the big four ingredients for life. That's really just an incredible sign that this might be one of the places where we find life okay number two on the list orbiting Jupiter. Lot of okay knows and some lightning I. Oh yes so. I will admit that I have some volcanic bias. I really love volcanoes. Thank you for disclosing that conflict of Interest Jennifer. I have to be. I have to be honest. I'm anyone who knows me knows that. I absolutely love volcanoes so naturally I o which is the most volcanically active body in our solar system would have to take second. There are over four hundred volcanoes on the surface of I O and they spew jets of lava hundreds of miles into space. It's really incredible. Okay so this is. The wildest thing about Iot to me is that I. A- can generate like an electric current yes so of all of the gala land moons of Jupiter is actually the closest to Jupiter and so it sweeps through its magnetic field and that causes it to create this electric current and can generate as much as three million amperes and actually this jolt of electricity is then shot back to Jupiter and it creates lightning in the planet's upper atmosphere. I mean that's cooler than the volcanoes. Some some people would say that. Yes okay your number one moon Jennifer orbiting Saturn a moon. I could walk on with potentially nothing. More than an Oxygen Mask Titan. Yeah so titan actually is the only other place that we've observed so far that has a thick substantial atmosphere so our atmosphere of course is critical for life here. On Earth and tighten it has a similar has a sort of similar atmosphere. It's also mostly composed of nitrogen but the second most common gas. Indie atmosphere is actually methane. So right so instead of like us. Having oxygen the next most abundant compound in that moons atmosphere. In Titan's atmosphere is methane. Yeah absolutely and you think about Earth. We have a water on earth we have all three phases of water on our southern liquid and gas and ice but on Titan you have liquid methane on the surface which is really really incredible. It's the only other body in the solar system that we've observed to have liquid on its surface and these are rivers and lakes and seas of methane.

"We think about people our lives dying I think the we see all the time and TV and movie images for instance you know. This sort of the worst nightmare is just receiving. Phone call And you know this is to inform you. I have some bad news for you and you think. Oh my God how Calamitous. You know not even a chance to to say anything. This person's gone But actually this week. We're going to look at what. I think is a far more common scenario and certainly if our inbox is any indication we get dozens of letters of people grappling with what? We're calling the long goodbye when you know that a loved one especially apparent which is what we'll talk about for this episode but anybody who's terminally ill there weeks months sometimes years that you know that you have to say goodbye to this person and they're all sorts of very complicated feelings that come up when you're facing a long goodbye and this is something listeners of the show will now this close to our own hearts because we both have long goodbyes of of varying lengths. Mine was very brief. Yours was many years and we had to say goodbye to our mothers and I frankly feel lucky that I didn't get that phone call with the sudden news that my mom died but also having that long goodbye. How is its own form of sorrow and torture? You have to see somebody. You love very much suffer. So we're actually going to hear one letter that is from a young woman who is facing a long goodbye and the second letter that will here is the aftermath of a long goodbye and I should mention that you know when we recorded. This first letter was several months ago and I was in the situation a letter writer thinking about my mom who was still alive and when we recorded the second letter sadly My mom had died so I was right. There in the middle of that aftermath grappling with some of the same feelings is the letter writer. So let's listen to that letter. Now Steve Stewart dear sugar three years ago. My father was diagnosed with stage. Four cancer when he was diagnosed twenty five and in graduate school out of state. Seventeen hours away. It was hard but as the years have gone by I have graduated and fallen in love in my new state. I'm in a serious relationship and have moved my younger brother out here as well. My Dad says to live my life and he would rather me stay where I am than move closer to home. If it makes me happy. Some days I don't know I have guilt. The type of guilt were all be sitting thinking about how? I'm a terrible daughter and my father is home with my mother. Dying without me. He could die a year from now or ten years from now. Am I being selfish? How do children cope with us? I feel responsible for my parents. Even though I know they only want the best for me and my crappy daughter. I took their son away as well. I feel like I have abandoned them but I don't know what to do. I don't want to move home but I don't want them to feel like I don't want to be there sincerely. Daddy's girl who daddy's girl when I read those words really my my heart hurts because you know I was that girl in my twenties whose mom did die of cancer. My Mom died when I was twenty. Two and she was forty five. And you know the question for me. It wasn't is my mom going to die in a year or ten years. You know I knew that my mom was going to die quickly and she died seven weeks to the day after her diagnosis. And one of the things I want to say to you. Daddy's girl is that the most important thing for you to do in this period of time. It's just a love the people you love with abandon and truth because you know we all could die anytime we all die tomorrow. You know we don't know when that will be but I really do feel so lucky you know that I had that opportunity to know. My mom had that diagnosis. I could say to her how important she was to me. It wasn't about being there every minute. It was about being present emotionally and it sounds to me like Daddy's girl you know certainly does that with her father and her parents well the other thing just to pause a moment and say what a beautiful guy to say to his daughter. Live your life. The problem is daddy's girl. You feel guilty anyway. And that's part of the problem when it's a long goodbye when it's acute and sudden okay. Be there. They're very simple in a way. It simplifies it. She says it could be ten years and it could be a year from now and in a way that really puts the sort of Damocles mostly loaded with guilt overhead which is perfectly understandable and Daddy's girl. You have to recognize the only thing you can do at this. Point is affect your love in the world as well as you can the emphasis when death is there is always On death and what I love. There's this wonderful quote from Joan diddy in that. WanNa read because it seems to me to put the emphasis on the living. What is left of life? She writes. I'm not telling you to make the world better. I'm just telling you to live in it not just to endure it not just to suffer it not just a pass through it but to live in it to look at it to try to get the picture to live recklessly to take chances to make your own work and take pride in it to seize the moment and if you ask me why you should bother to do that. I could tell you the graves of fine and private place but none. I think do there embrace. Nor did they sing their or right or argue or see the tidal bore on the Amazon or touch their children. And that's where there is to do and get it while you can and good luck at it which I think in in his own way is what the father is trying to say to you. Daddy Screw Your Dad is trying to say live your life and the other side of that is being as involved with your dad as you can. Right now lacks connection. You don't have to live in the same town as someone if you just because you love them dearly and I do think too that you know with a long-term Cancer Diagnosis. What you have are very different stages of that kind of dying and there will come a time when it will be appropriate. That she goes to him and maybe stays with him for months. That's a very different prospect than picking up your life and living in a town near father just because he might ten years parish from cancer right and then there's this line I took their son away as well and this is I think what happens when we feel just so much guilt because somebody we love is ill you know. She's taking on her brother's decision making. He's an adult. He decided to this state right. You we take on extra baggage in a certain way. You have an opportunity now that you know there's a limited time horizon where it's much more real to you to talk with your dad about what his life of and what your relationship has been and what he thinks of what you're making your life and the things that you're involved in trying to seize the day after all. I think that's what parents want. Yeah when we were really didn't This letter and talking about having it on the show. I really my mind went immediately to my friend Robin Romm. Who's a beautiful writer? She's written two books mother garden and the mercy papers. Both the deeply grapple with Her own experience with her mother who died of cancer and we have her in the studio today and we should mention mother. Gordon is a collection of stories. And mercy papers is a memoir that I think grapples with that moment. Which is the acute phase after a long illness and what in a very intense beautiful sort of searingly honest way what that is like at the very end but anyway we are so delighted? Robin that you're here and thank you for joining us. I wrong so much for having me. Hi Guys so. Can you tell us first? Your story so. My mom was diagnosed with cancer when I was nineteen. I had just finished my first year of college and I was living on the East Coast and she was in Oregon and it was a pretty serious diagnosis. She got a whole bunch of treatment. It's been a long time now. I don't remember every single piece of the initial few years but she went into remission for about a year and a half an after that was sick for about. Oh I don't know maybe eight more years so she was sick a total of probably nine years all your twentieth all through my twenty S. I was nineteen when she got sick and I was twenty eight when she died and I really related to the Daddy's girl ladder because that question of four. How long am I supposed to put everything on? Hold to deal with this crisis and it's at such a difficult time when you're in your twenties and you're trying to figure out like how you're going to be in the world and you're going to graduate school or you're having children are getting married or you're in relationships or you're moving or whatever it's a very. It's a time of life that I think in this country in our sort of current culture is you're allowed to be a little selfish and to set those things up for yourself and so it's very difficult to figure out how to put all those needs aside and still be. Come the person that you want to be in the midst of being pulled back into the family and pull back into this role that you're now a daughter again. You're back in the family home dealing with family and also your apparent to apparent before you've even parented your own kids or anything like forced to be a parent and it. I found it just deeply difficult to figure all that out. I went home several times. I had gone from working full-time to graduate school and during summer like before Graduate School Semester. I had gone home and my mom was pretty sick. Everybody thought she was going to die and then she took an experimental drug and she got better for a while and so I had to make the decision. Do I stay. I don't know how long she'll be better for or go and do a semester so I went back to graduate. School started my coursework about three weeks in. I got this phone call from my mother's friends hate heard if your fingers turn blue. You've got three days to live and they'd my mother's fingers. They said we're turning blue so through stuff in a bag and drove from Berkeley. Where I lived to Eugene or my mom was and wound up withdrawing from school and staying. I had no idea how long I would be home. But it wasn't the end. It was another you know prolonged period of time. And it's just you can't plan around those things either. Which makes them so difficult. You don't know in a death like that often when it's coming and when it's going to come in three months and when it's GonNa come in six months or two weeks and it makes it so impossible to make like a quote unquote good decisions. And so I think that feeling of like I'm a crappy daughter I can't make the right decision is the only feeling available first of all. I don't think you're gonNA feel like yes now. I've landed on the right thing it's crappy to go home and sit around it's crappy to feel far
Why Does Hand Washing Beat Hand Sanitizer Hands Down?
"This episode is part of the miniseries. We're doing on some health and safety topics surrounding the novel type of coronavirus identified in two thousand nineteen which causes what is therefore being called covert nineteen because everything is a little less scary when you understand it better so you're probably aware that with the novel. Virus outbreak hand sanitizer has gotten very hard to find however soap seems to still be in good supply. This is a little counter intuitive given that to keep yourself safe from this virus the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend handwashing. I and using hand sanitizer only as a backup. If you don't have access to running water we spoke with Dr Greg Poland a representative for the Infectious Diseases site of America and professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He said proper hand washing is the safest most efficacious least expensive and readily available method to prevent disease. So why would plain old soap and water be more effective against germs than alcohol based hand sanitizer? Poland explained when you're physically washing your hands. You're doing three things. You're removing visible dirt and Mucus. You're using a soap that decreases surface tension. And you're physically by friction loosening removing and washing away. Whatever is on your hand. This includes germs that you can't see and is perhaps particularly effective at stopping the spread of some germs like Corona viruses because the outer casing of these germs is made up of Lipids. Which are fats just as soap can wedge itself down between particles of Greece on a dirty pan and help break it up? Molecules of soap can elbow into that lipid envelope around a microbe and break it apart. Thus rendering the microbe unable to attack and infect cells studies have shown that soap and water is more effective than hand sanitizer it removing certain viruses and bacteria that attack the intestines and respiratory tract corona viruses included and handwashing is especially effective for very dirty hands. Such as those. You get from gardening playing sports or wiping the runny nose with the back of your hand. Poland said if your hands are visibly soiled hand sanitizer can't get all the skins surfaces and if your hands have mucus on them hand sanitizer cannot penetrate remember. If you have the flu. For example influenza viruses will be present in your mucus. Several studies have shown that handwashing got rid of the flu virus from hands. Much faster than hand. Sanitizer did okay. So we've gone over why handwashing trump's hand sanitizing but in order for handwashing to work. You have to do it properly. You've probably seen a billion memes this week about how to do it but let's review the steps for everyone's sake. There are a whole bunch of times that people should be washing their hands but probably the most important are before you prepare or eat food after using the bathroom. And before you touch your face. Here's the protocol according to the CDC. I WHAT HANDS CLEAN RUNNING? Water warm or cold will do then turn off the tap and apply soap lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Any soap will work. It doesn't have to be antibacterial and remember antibacterial. Soap will help. Keep you safer from viruses than regular soap. Because they're different critters as you lather and rub make sure to get all the parts of your hands. The backs palms between the fingers and under fingernails. Start at your fingertips and work backward. Rub Your hands for at least twenty seconds. You Can Hummer Sing. Happy Birthday twice or some other diddy. If counting doesn't do it for you. The five seconds that most people take to wash their hands doesn't get as many microbes afterwards. Rinse your hands. Well under running water and dry them using a clean towel or with an air dryer. If you're in a public restroom it helps to use a paper towel to turn the faucet off and to open the bathroom door. A lot of publicity has gone into educating people that they're not washing for long enough but many are also missing the mark by not thoroughly rubbing all parts of the hand Polin said think of how we viruses bacteria etc into our body. It's with the area of the hand that nobody washes properly. That is the fingertips people. Wash the palm. They washed the back of their hands. They washed the bottom third of the fingers. But have you ever seen someone wash fingernails or tips so the next time you're washing up? Make a point to pay extra attention to these oft neglected appendages. There will be times though when hand? Sanitizer just makes more sense than handwashing. Let's say you were in the bathroom at your office. Followed all the steps outlined above. So now you have perfectly clean hands but wait. You need to open the door that leads from the hallway where the bathroom is back to your office. Dozens of people opening and closing that door all day. Applying dollop of hand sanitizer might be easier than washing your hands again. So here's the correct way to do that. I make sure you're applying enough about a quarter to a half dollar sized amount of him. Sanitizer is necessary. Rub It all the parts of your hand starting from the fingertips and working your way. Back to disinfect. And don't forget in between your fingers. Polin said keep doing that until it's dry that way you know you've had an exposure time for that disinfectant to kill resist the urge to wipe your hands on a paper towel or your pants to speed up the drying process since hand sanitizer and washing can be very drying. You might want to keep some hand lotion or cream nearby to apply once your hands are dry and just one more thing. Dr Poland has fielded questions from people who asked about using disinfecting wipes like those made by clorox or Lysol on their skin. As an added layer of protection he strongly advises people against this quote. Do not wipe your face clorox wipes do not clean your nose with it and do not suck on it. It DOES NOT HELP. It will harm you and it hurts. It offers no benefit
"p diddy" Discussed on Two Less Lonely Girls
"The N._C. Question Yes we are two adult women. Yes we love Bieber and that's why we're publicly stopped. Amanda GonNa be too. We loved US favor as clear. We're not be nick. I feel like daddy might listen to swimming girls or one of his peop- yeah but also to us on the girls has always had a weird. There's like weird thing with this podcast. Yes where there's like a spiritual. We'll aligning thing that happens where like like when we started all of a sudden bieber was like doing all this crazy shit and then we've Yuck and met up with him within like so quickly so it's like when that happened I was like well yeah because our podcast is blessed by the Gods so even my mother noticed that she was just like she's like honestly it was very weird like Bieber was doing nothing and then you in Rosebud started their show and he just started being everywhere all the time and yeah I had this thought. I'm glad you noticed that because I'm like that's kind of wild yeah. Also we never even addressed the fact that he brought. He came out with a new song with Chris Brown which I just want everybody to know like I fucking love that so he's just been gone on a lot of songs longs lately not only at your own. Please make your own stuff. If we give me you and Sarah Dooley could write a song in an hour right now. You can surely like scrape something together right for sure. It's crazy. I mean Chris but I I was psyched about it because is Chris Brown and Justin Bieber there sung next to you was the reason I started loving Bieber okay and I <hes> so when they came out with a new one I was like I I don't feel like Justin does enough on it. <hes> like I felt like it wasn't really a it was it's kind of a lazy collaboration on Justin's part well. That's the thing yeah I just. I do feel like a lot of his stuff. I mean Ed Sheeran one. I think that was like I will give that like that's a full song but here like don't check on me. Don't check on me yeah. It's it's great wanted to just hear a little too great song. I think I think I heard maybe I won't play well. I guess we've been blocked from stuff. You win blocked no. I don't know it just won't play. That's annoying. Okay well <hes> well. I'll get it some day. I just wanted to hear it because I think I might of Oh. I had blocked Chris Brown..

"He was hiding cops came surrounded the place. They started searching departure he called a lift like an Uber. And then he goes to what he thinks is his over. It's it's the police, and they go, hey, are you my ride and sees oh shit your police officer. And then he started running way. Of course, they got him. That sounds exactly like what I would do. Like, I was like one time. I was like being followed by this creepy guy. So I just called a lift and got an in it. And I was like take me anywhere. You know like that. I think that would be my first reaction needed call car and get out of here. Do you? What do you do if this is your kid? You never talked to them again. Right. You you. Let them rotten. Jill a little bit hit your bottom because you are disgusting. Yeah. Yeah. I am not bailing you out. Feel a little this is stupid and your dumb, and I know I didn't say shit like this around you. I'm waste martyr than you fuck that. I'd try to add on charges. He would he would fight with me. And then go the fridge like that food was his head anything to prison on that theft. I feel like that's. Theft. I said ask I I'm writing about a Diddy puff daddy statue wack in at the wax museum that to Soad's wax museum, his his wax. Figuring happened to be on the ninth floor somebody came into the safest they see this on camera. This guy P Diddy came at P Diddy came into the wax museum. Immediately went to the ninth floor pushed over puff wax statue. So that the head broke off, and then left now, I don't know it doesn't say did he pay sixty do that while I thought maybe they put a flame to it? And you watch to lex Mel. Yeah. In glory because that would be fun. He knows you got to get in and out this nine PM on Saturday. So a little busy. I would assume that's like a good way to get over like beef with someone like if there is a lifelike statue of them that exists somewhere, but you can't access the real person like just go push the statute feel better. It's voodoo dolls action. Yeah. I think you're right. He's like did he felt that? And it's realistic that you get to like really pretend for a moment to. But you know, what the worst part is. You know, this is PD in this company yet he did it himself. What if it's about the to park biggie fights, you know, what if this is deeper? I don't know. I don't a little story. I'll this them into pox mom show up at wax museum. Let me mention this. Please third love you know, what I'm talking about. I'm talking bras. But you go to find bras, and what are you five? Or are you six G R U H a have size? I'm in the middle. I'm special. Well, now a half size saving realized because there was never a half size. And also, my straps always fell off. So I didn't wanna wear abroad. I'm just kind of picking up my strap every other minute not anymore. Third. Love offers more than seventy seven zero sizes. Wow. Including their signature half-cup sizes..

"Like, my mom kicked down the TV because there was a boob onscreen mentioned getting raised with your parents getting flipping out over a fucking titty. Like who cares, man? Enemy damn Jessica Simpson. Janet Jackson P Diddy Nelly who's done like three Super Bowls, kid rock, and Justin Timberlake. They did party all for you. Janet Jackson bad boy for life P Diddy Diddy to the tune of Mickey from P Diddy hot in here, MO money MO problems. Cowboy rhythm nation, and then rock your body was the the infamous moment, they really tightened up, obviously after this moment 'cause the next year. Poem expert need the. Yeah. The next year. They just went to the other end of the spectrum, and and got Paul McCartney who is is universally beloved in will not will not show his Titi. Typically, what happens ask Paul McCartney a lot to to show show. Those those Liverpool and beetle titties, and he will not do it. That will show you my t to Paul McCartney. I actually liked that halftime show. My pick is pretty easy pick for me. This was my number two. So my number one was prince's. Well. So that was that was going quickly. And this would be the U2. rule. Halftime show. Patriots. Rams. This is the nine eleven one. It was beautiful day MLK. And then he did where the streets have no name in the banners. The banner behind him had all the victims of nine eleven. That's still one of the coolest Concer moments. Just TV moments ever. It was incredible. It's still like goosebumps. Every time. I see it. I I would say that's one a one b with prints for Besser. We'll have time shows that was incredible. And then went on and through their music on everyone's ipod and the goodwill was lost Ken, Jack. You have the next two picks. One two three my top three already taken. But I'll go beyond say twenty thirteen for my first one don't really remember it. But it's beyond say can't really go wrong with that. Right. She did another one right kids. She did to sheet another one with cold play and Bruno Mars for the fiftieth Super Bowl. Okay. I'll do that one too. So I'm gonna pick both beyond say once for one b might theory with the cold play one was that they realize Coldplay play was so boring. They had to bring back somebody who's good. And it's the same thing happened with Bruno Mars to cause Bruno Mars did it in twenty fourteen the New York Super Bowl brought back beyond saying Bruno Mars 'cause it's like Roger Goodell or whoever's behind it like, Saul coal play for the first time to realize they just stand there and Chris Martin just kinda like jumps up and down like a rabbit. The only thing he does is concerts worth anything when he throws the big yellow balls out there when he plays yellow that's like I I like dating to coda Johnson are making that up. He was married to Gwen towel tro. Or you're saying though, true, I like in fix you. He likes spends his light and some performances in throws it out in the crowd during the crescendo fix you. Which is a great Coldplay moment. Yeah. The way they played it off his Hawaii think you're right. They tried to make it seem like they were bringing beyond saying Bruno Mars to like make a nod to fifty years of the Super Bowl in past halftime show performances. But like those are like the last three you had it seems like you're just trying to say like you wouldn't have picked cold play. If you wanted somebody to do a nod to all the other performances, you'd abrupt back like a lot of the people. So apparently the bans or acts that perform at the Super Bowl have to pay the NFL. That's why Taylor swift hasn't done it. Apparently. That's so bullshit, man. Jesus christ. All right. My pick. So Ken cornered beyond say there gets both beyond says my pick two thousand nine Bruce Springsteen. That's the AirAsia cardinals. Pittsburgh Steelers this one no boobs, but he did have his crotch shoved into a camera during a tenth avenue freeze out..

Donald Trump are Kelly, Chris Brown, fifty cent, Hillary Clinton, Sean p Diddy combs, Mike Walberg in Christian Slater, very great fucking tweet. Just put things in perspective a little bit. So Mike Tyson, who's a convicted rapist he can go out to these shows. Nobody's like really losing their shit. Our Kelly who pissed on a child he can do what he wants to do. Let's take a look at some of these Chris Brown who put riana in the hospital. He beat the shit out of his girlfriend so much. I like, is this not? Isn't there something to this that it's like, wow, that's really crazy. That's how offensive the. That's how how offended the thought police are when you just challenge their their premises. That you could be someone who actually beat the shit out of their girlfriend, but you can't just go and you know what? I think Roseanne's getting harsh treatment here. She sent one tweet and her life gets ruined over that. So anyway, that's that's what ended up happening. They cancelled him on. On Roseanne I, they cancelled it on the tonight show. He ended up going on Howard Stern instead. And how should he is out of the tonight show? I mean, I, it's like the SNL camp..
