Sudan Says Military Coup Thwarted; Dozens of Troops Arrested
"Admiral to lead the lead story breaking news out of israel. This morning hadn't even made it in. The american press yet sudan claims to thwart military coup attempt. Many officers detained. Now i bring this up because sudan long ago and far away Harbored osama bin laden under a radical islamist regime. Have you been to khartoum. You're usually been to everywhere. Have you been to cartoon. I have not. He'd finally finally finally about. I'm not surprised because it was an islamist dictatorship forever right exactly. I think if. I'd said yes. You should have been very suspicious. Well why do we care about places like guinea and sudan. When coups happened admiral because the overall rule of law we wanna foster in the international community at breaks norms when elected governments of whatever stripe are overthrown be geo-strategically. We've seen again and again in these coup ridden contres bad actors bleed into it because they're largely ungoverned spaces in so many cases and we've that from afghanistan to libya to syria today to sudan. I fear for it in western africa. Guinea so i think those are the two principal reasons we oughta be concerned. One is philosophical political the others practical military beginning mogadishu or other failed states. But i do know you can give us a fairly good idea. What is living in a failed state. Like it's pretty much like what you saw in kabul over the last few weeks it masses of people desperation in their eyes extreme poverty armed gangs open trucks with skinny teenagers. Driving around with ak47's i'm describing both parts of east and west africa at this point all of those factors are part of this breakdown in lawlessness that audit concern very deeply in in all of these
AP News Spins General Mark Milley's Wrongdoing in Exclusive Interview
"The Democrats are going to run interference. They're going to gavel down Republicans. They're going to talk about Trump Trump Trump Trump and they're not going to talk about This coup attempt at all. We even have people. Who get leaks familiar or his staff. They call them reporters. Contributors whomever they are. They've been very, very Passive in their criticism of what is an outrageous act, if true. If true. And General Milley has said that hey, look, what I did is Perfectly fine. What's the problem here, so he's learned a lot? From Obama and Biden and Pelosi. His friends. So The Associated Press actually interviewed. Emily calls the China were perfectly with the scope of my job. And he said Athens, Greece for some reason. So this is the associated depressed, ready? The top U. S military officer said Friday that calls he made to his Chinese counterpart in the final storming once a president Trump's presidency. You see how the AP just can't report a story? Were quote perfectly within the duties and responsibilities unquote of his job. We're going to look at that in a minute. Maly said such calls are routine. And we're done to reassure both allies and adversaries in this case in order to ensure strategic stability. Strategic stability. For what? Really Why did we need strategic stability? I think it's best that I reserve my comments on the record until I do that. In front of the lawmakers who have the lawful responsibility to oversee the military, Mili said. I'll go into any level detailed. Congress wants to go into a couple of weeks. Well, he's a tough guy, isn't he? He's a very stupid guy to be in a position he's
Left Media Uses the 'Republican Pounce' Story to Cover Democrat Scandals
"The podcast. What do Republicans pounce stories? Well this mark Milley, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Democrat Media Military Complex story is extremely devastating. It's extremely devastating because it's not hard to understand the problem in it with some scandals as they're very difficult to understand that that's why the Benghazi scandal for the Democrats, they ran from it so quickly because it was easy to understand. Our guys were left behind in Benghazi by Barack Obama and they got killed like it's not hard to understand. You can play all the euphemisms games you want, but it's not a complicated scandal. Understand there is some scandals like you know, the A P. Phone records scandal. You're like what What do you do exactly? Did they get the phone records and they get was a journalist. What was the story about? You know, it's not particularly complicated, but it's not that easy to understand, either. It's kind of a you got to read about it a little bit. Benghazi was easy to understand. This is an easy story to understand, And that's why it's got the Democrats running around. Like a chicken with her head cut off. Because they don't know what to do. They clearly conspired with our military. To engage in a coup. Clearly, that's that's cliff. The story's accurate as reported. I haven't seen any strong denials about this at all. Then they clearly engaged in a coup Nancy Pelosi and probably other Democrats, too. So, of course, the media has to jump in and make the story not about the Democrats, so they do Republicans pound story Republicans Pound stories are when the media starts focusing not on the scandal that the Democrats are involved in right now. Pelosi's coup Pelosi's coup. That's right, say it over and over again. Nancy Pelosi is cool, but they focus on the Republicans response. To the scandal. It's a convenient way to
Was There a Conspiracy Between Democrats and China During Trump's Presidency?
"I told you, isn't it awfully coincidental that CNN puts out a tweet on January 8th of 2021 the same day Mark Milley is alleged to have called a Chinese Communist Party general are nuclear powered enemies. CNN puts out a tweet the same day saying how Nancy Pelosi is quote been assured. That there are safeguards in place against a president Trump nuclear launch. I want to know immediately immediately like today, any lawmaker listening in D. C. We need answers to this right now. Was there a conspiracy between the Chinese Communist Party Democrat leadership, notably Nancy Pelosi and the Joint Chiefs Chairman and whoever else in the military was involved with this? To engage in a coup. To destroy the constitutional powers of the president, United States Donald Trump at the time, that is the question right now.
Rep. John Garamendi Starts Biden Damage Control on Gen. Milley's Alleged Treason
"Let's start here. Let's go to cut one. This is a hapless California Democrat John Garamendi, Um, again a complete zero. Um, a guy who realizes treason may have been committed and the Democrats were involved in a coup. That's not even a possible that that's a definite that they were involved in a coup. They admitted it, I'll show you a tweet. I'll read a tweet for you in a second from CNN. But here's Garamendi, hapless California Democrat defending Millie's decision saying, you know It's no big deal. We'll take a look. But this isn't a big already running damage control. Check this out. Key General Milley called a secret meeting in his Pentagon office of top military brass and basically said to them if you get calls, no matter who they're from, there is a process here. There is a procedure no matter what you're told. You do the procedure. You do the process and I'm a part of the procedure. Meaning he didn't want them. Responding really two calls from the commander in chief. Unless he was involved as a member of the Armed Services Committee. Do you see that as an end run somehow around the commander in chief? Or course Trump was, uh, unhinged by the election by his loss in the election, and he displayed that, uh, clearly from the evening of the election right on through to today, and he remains unstable with regard to his election loss. He clearly was deeply engaged in the 2000 election. 1000. January 6th insurrection He brought those people he encouraged them to come and he had done encouraged them to march on the capital. All of that is known. The investigations of all of this will are underway now. This select committee is delving into all of these communications.

Well i you know doesn't have a lot of evidence behind it I mean i hate to do the american thing of comparing everything to our own politics. But i can't help but be reminded of sydney powell saying that venezuelans behind the stolen presidential election last year of what we are really dealing with. Here is the massive influence of communists money through venezuela cuba and likely china in the interference with our elections here in the united states on the one hand south. America's place that sees a lot more real election chicanery in political violence than we do in the us but it's the same basic impulses to see communists behind every corner. But at least the bolivian right blamed maduro whereas the american right blamed hugo chavez. Who is no longer alive. Chavez viva as we know ebay forever the dominion voting systems and the software that goes in other computerized voting systems. Here as well were created in vilis in venezuela at the direction of hugo chavez at least in bolivia. they're updating their communist conspiracy tales. Exactly and the fight that the fearsome cuban security services can't even control their own domestic situation. Pops my cost out there. But that's to influence bolivia's government thousands of miles away. I mean don't get me wrong you know. It's it's widely known that the cuban spies cry influential in venezuela and is a very close economic and political relationship between their respective governments. But but you know beyond that. It's kind of the buds really. There's the other fact. Then that if you are discussing flying foreign mercenaries into your own country to overthrow the president it probably helps your sense of moral righteousness to convince yourself that the other side is on the brink of doing the very same thing perhaps wages some of the cognitive dissonance that that might produce otherwise. Yeah and i think that lopez was burdened by much appreciation or respect for for democracy to to begin with because as as lawrence that he acknowledges on the calls That that are say won the election. You know it wasn't particularly close. He won in a landslide. So this was not a situation where even privately you know. Former president trump will tell anyone who will listen that he actually won the election..

Two thousand hundred mercenaries mostly colombians are accused of shooting juvenile noisy at his home earlier. This month real kind of wakeup call. I think for the international community that these mercenaries schemes which are often referred to in the media as as half baked when they don't come together can very easily become baked and several dozen colombian mercenaries and and to americans acting as translators retention to be dea agents were able to get.

"This is deconstructed. I'm zach young producer of the show filling in for our regular host ryan grim. This week because our topic. Today is one of ryan's own recent stories for the intercept. Which i'll be interviewing him about later in the show on november nine th two thousand nineteen the president of bolivia. Evo morales gave a press conference from el alto. Airport just outside. The capital city of lopez gentle then. Young morales had been president of bolivia since his first election. Victory in two thousand and five back then. He was seen as a key figure in the maria rosa. The so-called pink tide of leftist leaders being elected across latin america former argentine president cristina fernandez de kirchner. Once called morales one of the three musketeers of the maria rosa. The other two being venezuela's google chavez elected in nineteen ninety. Eight and brazil's luiz nacion. Lula dasilva elected in two thousand and three. Just as importantly morales was the first president in bolivia's two centuries of independence to come from the country's indigenous majority but by two thousand nineteen. He was the last major leader of maria. Rosa left standing chavez had died of cancer in two thousand thirteen his country's economy cratered. Lula's brazil was now in the hands of far-right president. Jaya bolsonaro. you notice class democracia. This with donald is by the time he gave that press conference from el alto airport in november..
"Whispers to God": Islam and Mental Health
"Hi everyone be back in the studio. It's crazy to be back here. Slowly returning back to recording are episodes. In which is create because now i can share the same physical space with my guests and colleagues and today. I'm here with sarah. She is one of our writers alot. Everyone so sad. I'll why don't you introduce yourself to our listeners. Yeah hi guys. I'm sarah and i am the content and media editor for immigrants. I've been here for quite some time now. Almost two years right. Yeah it's crazy time flies. So what is today's episode about sara. Yes so we partnered with indiana university's muslim voices project and we decided to get together and make an episode about the relationship between islam and mental health. And we did that. Because in my opinion spirituality is really just about knowing how to stay in a good state of mind throughout the entirety of just you know existing as a human so i feel like it makes complete sense for us to explore how religion can be a part of that. Because i feel like on this show. We've done a lot of talking about religion as an institution and from a historical place. But i feel like it's time to really delve into how it affects. People and also the concept of spirituality. Right it applies to everyone. Everyone who follow organized religion braces people. Who don't follow religion at all. At least if not spirituality than mindfulness right. Yeah definitely. Sarah tell us a little bit about our guests. Yes so our guests are heather. Coup who is a professor at indiana university and hanan moawad who is a friend of muslim voices and they are both practicing muslims Heather is from wisconsin and she actually converted after meeting her now ex husband and after starting a family with him. Her relationship to islam really strengthened. And she really became a fully practicing muslim when she had her miscarriage at a relatively early age and that really set her into a place where she needed that sort of guidance.

"This coming from tucker. Carlson who uncovered. What's going on here are just the facts. We don't know very much more about this right now. But here's here's what we do now at least thirty. Six batches of mail in ballots from the election were double counted in fulton county. Where all of us were saying there were irregularities and the blob told us that there were no irregularities in fulton county and how dare you suggest otherwise. And if you do. You're an insurrection. As nazi coup engaging secessionist. Or whatever and you'd be banned from social if you said we said at any way it we had to dance around the new rules because the sensors really didn't want this stuff coming out. Well now we know there were at least thirty. Six badges malines that were double counted. That's a total of more than four thousand votes by the way. Keep in mind biden one in georgia by fewer than thirteen thousand votes. So we're four thousand votes really matters here for thousand votes from that from that. Bachelor's double counted those numbers. Come from a group called voter. Gpa voter georgia which had to sue to even get access to the ballots to see what was going on. The final tally from the double counts. That know about amounts to more than thirty three hundred votes for joe biden and eight hundred sixty five votes for donald trump even the atlanta journal constitution. Which is left leaning agrees with this theory. There's an elections expert His name is mark davis. He analyzed data from the post office. Because don't forget there was widespread use of mayland votes. He found that thirty. Five thousand georgia. Voters had moved out of their county of residence more than a month prior to election day. Making them ill at ineligible to vote so according to that election expert thirty five thousand dollars votes not eligible to remind you. Thirteen thousand votes decided the election in georgia are we are. We allowed to say this. Are we allowed to point. The set tucker said he said on television. So i'm hoping that gives the saliba. Probably not i think the rules are actually tight on social media than they are in certain areas of tv. But if you suggest those hate facts if you suggest those dangerous evil terrible truths then you will. You will be smeared as a nazi and a vial bigot. Insurrectionist which is what the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff is doing mark milley a great meam of general milley going around where he's got pink meghan piano hair and instead of all of his medals and ribbons he's got the rainbow flag blm. It's like i don't know why people think the army's gone woke. Listen up soldier. Did you just miss gender me. That's so so anyway. Milly is really really gone far left and according to a new book he said on the of the capital riot he said. Quote these guys are nazis boo-boys. They're proud boys. These are the same people we fought in world war two. Yeah that's eh. got the horn guy. The horn guy dancing on pelosi's desk Smiley guy with the lectern. There that basically adolf eichmann. Right there. The himmler i think is i. Don't i don't think so. I don't think. Warren guy is dr mangle or gurgles or hitler or anyone else. I think gen General milley is just at hysterical. Little lib how else to put it. I know he's a big tough military guy but he's really really pathetic. Really pathetic as president trump said president trump. You know he doesn't have twitter now so he can't tweet but he sends out press statements that just are tweets and but there's no character limits is. Sometimes they go on longer but they they just are his tweets and then journalists will post some of them on twitter. So it's a way for him to get around the ban. I i have to read this one. At length this this statement from president trump. Just it pulled on my heartstrings. Because it reminded me how much jack dorsey took from us. How much i miss this man. His response to general milley despite massive voter fraud and irregularities in the two thousand twenty presidential election scam that we are now seeing play out in very big and important states. I never threatened or spoke to anyone. A coup of government so ridiculous. Sorry to inform you but an election is my form of coup and one of the one of the great lines. And if i was going to do a coup one of the last people i would want to do it with general mark. Milley is that mr president. He got his job only. Because the world's most overrated general. James mattis could not stand him had no respect for and and would not recommend him to me. so what. Do you think you're telling me that madison didn't like this guy. So so you appointed to a position. Mr. he says to me the fact that mattis didn't like him just like obama didn't like him and actually fired. Mealy was a good thing not a bad thing. I often act counter to people's advice. Who i don't respect so now. He's taking a meeting to go after millie and is apparent opponent. Jim mattis at the same time in any respect. I lost respect for me when we walked together to saint john's church which was still smoldering from a radical left fire. Set the day before side by side and walk that has been proven to be totally appropriate. That's true people said that it was awful and violent. They cleared the place of peaceful protesters. And that just isn't true. Even the mainstream media admit that now and the following day mealy choked like a dog in front of the fake news. When they told him they thought he should have been walking with the president which turned out to be incorrect. He apologized profusely making it a big story instead of saying i am proud to walk with and protect the president of the united states. Had he said that it would have all been over no big deal but i thought that moment he had no courage or skill certainly not the type of person i would be talking coup with so i think it's probably ill advised for president trump to keep bringing up this hypothetical of what he would do if he were going to perpetrate a coup data. But it's very funny. It's very trumpy and the points. He's making here about millions lack of political courage. That is just obviously true. Whatever courage million had on the battlefield in the arena of politics. The guy licks his finger puts it in the air figures out which way the wind blows and when it blows left he goes.

"Fight for voting rights the co founder of black voters matter latasha brown the tasha welcome back to save america. Thank you for having me. Thank you for having me. We're talking a few hours before you head to washington dc. Can you tell us about what's happening there tomorrow. You know. I am a part of a group of black women who have been. We flew most apart. We have worked hours tirelessly to make sure that we're engaging people in this political process that we believe fundamentally in democracy the black rims roundtable Their groups a win with black women that fundamentally we thought last twenty twenty election be critically election and because of that many of us in our own or capacities or as volunteers. Some of us in multiple roles Were we gave all. We had to really be able to stop fascism in this nation. We organized a non stop you know and we were critical voting base and critical in moving black voters in this last election cycle and so attack that has happened on voting rights right now. We're extremely disappointed and angry about it. And what we've decided is that you know we're going like the old of freedom rights freedom song says. Let nobody tommy around. We are more just focused more than ever that we have to have federal legislation to protect voting rights in this country and so we're going to dc. We've been doing a week of actions All week on monday we had a social media Week of actions we had called all day today Tomorrow we're actually doing some direct action where we're actually going to the meeting with the senators going to capital. We have a rally happening at one o'clock For one to three the the focus for us is to keep people mine on what is happening around voting rights in this country. You know on the attack on voting rights in this country and not let this story die and let people get a sense of urgency including our legislators including president biden to really understand that we are in a particular state where we are in a state of emergency around voting rights for tickly as it relates to what we feel the tag that is happening targeted at black and brown voters so speaking about the for the people act and the john lewis voting rights act. You know joe manchin and cureton cinema have said over and over again now that they will not get rid of the filibuster They have so far seemed immune to public pressure. How do you change their minds. You know i. It's really interesting. I think that that's a question. Let me say this. I think that's a question for president. Biden i would resin. Body was running. You know he consistently said listen. I know the senate. In and out. I worked stand up to thirty six years. You know. I know how to move senators on the right side of out of left outside of the al. I am great. You know. I'm i'm i'm the great Convener of pulling people together and getting them to act on the action he also shared around. He was in the white house so he understands. How policy works you know. We saw him be able to put this infrastructure bill together and put force behind. That what we're saying is that you also have to recognize that. Voting rights is a critical issue. That the people who actually delivered not only delivered the white house to you but actually helped the significant part of delivering the senate to you that we expect you is is like in baseball game is your is your up you up to bat that this is what we expect you to lean into your experience as a senator for multiple decades. This is where we experienced expand a expect you to lean on all the power that you have in office as the president and and get it done just as we got it done in the midst of kobe in the midst of people. Say how are you all going to organize what we got coca down here. How are you going to organize all these things happening. We found a way we got it done. And so what we're saying is that we also have that same expectation that the president will get it done that it is. It is very disingenuous that we're in a space that what you had is. You had people to do everything we didn't leave any. We left everything on the feel so organized and make sure that we're actually getting the getting the vote out. so bad. In fact he would have the best possible circumstances to govern and it was black voter than blitz particularly about black women that actually break basically breathe life back into his campaign in south carolina. It was black. Voters prime primarily black women as well as other american voters millions of other american voters but black voters were. He and swing states like michigan and pennsylvania and in georgia and then on top of that in a state that has been traditionally a red state. You know we were able to literally do work even after we had been in this arduous campaign to deliver two senate seats so we we did. We didn't make any excuses. You know we all kinds of odds that said that we would not be able to that. This was going to be difficult uphill battle. And so what we're saying at this point. Is that the people that actually gave everything on the field that are now being attacked because we were literally what we're seeing is. We're seeing punitive measures because we actually deliver that those folks now now. We are vulnerable and being punished because we delivered. We expect that every tool that is available to the president will be used whether that however he needs to get matching and cinema onboard however he needs to whip those votes however he needs to organize it however he needs to do that is making a carve out something with the with the filibuster ending the filibuster. We expect that kind of commitment to really be able to deliver to perform just as we d it And creating a pathway for this administration to be an office so you hear from the white house and you know. They told reporters this on background that in private conversations with joe manchin he basically tells president biden. You know i'm not moving on this. And and he doesn't really seem afraid of president biden because job mansions gonna be center for twenty told twenty twenty four and he. He knows west virginia pretty well and it's a pretty conservative state. If you were working in the white house if you had the ear of joe biden. Joe biden said latasha. How do i move dole mansion and carson cinema. How do i get them to change their mind on the filibuster wet. What advice would you give the president in the white house. you know. there's a couple of things i would say that. There are ways that we move. We move votes and we will votes publicly and are not public. I don't know what what is that match. Watts is cinema was what i do know. Let me say this is what i do. Know is that if joe mansion was a on the republican side and there was and he was the one that was starting to republicans. He wouldn't have a parking space right now. He probably wouldn't even be able to get in the capital. That what i do know is that there are ways of really being able to put pressure around making sure that you get your people in line. I don't know what those things are specifically what he means. Well i what what i would think is that in the. I think he has to make a make a decision you know. Are you going to let the midterm election and possibility of literally your pass or you know in terms of democratic control of the white house An you know of of of congress is that all are you lead. Joe match is low. Joe magical make that decision. Because we didn't vocal joe manchin. We voted for for president body. My point is even if we saw everything. I'll say this to me if i saw that. The president was doing everything in his power and use every single to and at that point was not able to deliver. I would have space through there. I would have some understanding for that but as long as they're still an attachment to i've not heard the president yesterday in speech he gave which i thought was a really good speech. The problem with the speech was it wasn't what he said is what he didn't say in twenty minutes he never mentioned the filibuster. The filibuster was created has a long history as a tool that has been a barrier forgetting civil rights. Legislation passed matter of fact the president has actually said that he's done in favor of ending the filibuster nor even in has publicly said any consideration of how he would adjust the filibuster to move four. My point is that there are ways politically said unfair that when we want to move things like agenda..

"Unhappy twenty-first-century jim crow assault is real. It's unrelenting and we're going to challenge it vigorously an assault on democracy assault on liberty assault on who. We are who we are as americans for make no mistake. Boys and merchants of fear prevalence of lives are threatening the very foundation of our country. I want to start with what's going on in texas before we talk about biden This is the second time. Democrats blocked a vote on these bills. They walked off the flooring. Late may as well the last time they tried to block by actually leaving the state was in two thousand three when republicans are trying to pass a bill to gerrymander the state This tactic has never ultimately succeeded. A do you think it can succeed. Now it's hard to see how this sustainable forever. They just never going to return home. Yeah but it does it just because the odds of success along doesn't mean it's not the right thing to write. This is an extraordinary situation. As an opportunity to shine a light on what is happening there and sit that is much greater and gets more attention than simply everyone voting. No this is a big deal. They've been all over. Tv they've been on fox news msnbc. They've been making the case. And i think the this is how can actually the speech is. This is a huge problem and it is a problem that even for all of the coverage and discussion. It's gotten the republican efforts to suppress the vote in some elections is the exception flemish. The single biggest. Most alarming thing happening in america right now and it still has not getting enough. Tissue people are not alarmed enough about it so when people take extraordinary actions like this to raise that alarm it is important what impact it will have either in texas or in the senate is a question that does not mean. You do not do it. You do extraordinary situations need extraordinary action. That is that is what is happening. Here yeah i can hear my interview with latasha brown from a black voters matter You'd her a wednesday night before she was about to fly to dc for a rally today. Thursday up voting rights and She said the same thing. Because i asked her about texas and she said That part of her job and part of the job of as activists is to shape and change public opinion right. that's it's not just policy outcomes. It's not just getting the bill. Passed it's shaping the public opinion. That's necessary to win these fights. And so i think that's really important Let's talk about biden speech. It was impassioned. It was very tough. It raised the stakes and created urgency around the issue of voting rights. But nowhere in the entire speech did he mention the filibuster Which is the primary impediment surpassing voting rights legislation as we all know Why do you think you didn't mention it. I think there are three reasons that are not necessarily mutually exclusive. One is biden is still at least somewhat supportive of the idea of the filibuster. You think he really is just in his heart of hearts because he's a senate guy sort of favourable towards the idea of why i think he wants to believe in a world in which the senate senate function in a way that the filibuster plays an important role. Like i fundamentally disagree with that. I don't believe that world is attainable. I he looks at what is happening with the bipartisan infrastructure framework and feels very positive about that and also we know that he believes because he's talked before the that not necessarily trump is an aberration although he used that language early campaign but that this is a period in which we can get through that we have to navigate. This and there was a chance to return to normalcy in the long run to a better functioning so i think he is not ready to be the person leading the charge to take down the filibuster right. So that's one and that does not mean that. I don't think that he would be supportive of getting rid of it or carve out. Are those things. But i don't think he wants to be at the front of the line. Second is were he to talk about the filibuster. All of the coverage would have been about the filibuster just inside the beltway mindset and which is not even wrong in this case because that is the most important thing to actually get it done. And if the president that would be the most newsworthy thing. As opposed to the president to crying authoritarianism in these special laws for one more time right and the third is i think sense even if he were against the filibuster even if he did not consider the news coverage it is not clear that biden talking about it publicly helps in. It may possibly hurt. How might it hurt. Well we went through this in two thousand and thirteen. When they're when senator reid was was working with his caucus to get fifty democrats to support getting rid of the filibuster judicial. Nominations and presidential appointments in obama was already fed up with the filibuster. This he wanted to get out of here. It was driving him insane driving him insane before and his but it was countered by many many people that because like separation of power senators have a real they they get their backup at the idea that another branch of government telling them how to run their institution. They get senators. Get upset when the house tells them what to do. Let alone the per branch in the same paragraph in the constitution when the president bill theoretically they're supposed to be a check against presidential power when the president tells them how to read the rules. That is that that is unhelpful. Anything is probably unhelpful. With some of the institutionalists there and that the way you get it done the way in read got it done in two thousand thirteen which is senators work with senators to pave the way right to create the context of it. Maybe none of that matters right. I'm not saying that. I agree with that strategy but i think that that is why that maybe one of the reasons why that was not mentioned. It also may be that joe biden. He has ears in an is. He hears in reads the things that dramatic. Here's keep saying there was like it's not going to happen right so that is right but then fucking throw them. The hot potato right don't you. You shouldn't hold it now. I mean here's look. I always try to put myself in the shoes of the people working in the white house because i deeply believe they are all operating in good faith. I believe joe biden when he said it's the greatest threat to our democracy since the civil war. I'm trying to imagine the downsides the political downsides of saying it's the greatest threat to democracy since the civil war and that's why a arcane rule that's already been changed a dozen times shouldn't stand in the way of protecting the most fundamental right to vote and that's it imagine if he just said that so he says that you're right the coverage is about the filibuster and then what happened. Someone goes to know. Joe manchin and says Hey what'd you think about. Joe biden talking about the filibuster andro by an dementia said well. That's great that's where he is. I'm still where i am right like you're right that we don't make progress but like does anything bad happened by. Do you think joe manchin says. I can't believe joe biden fucking said that i'm blowing up the whole reconciliation package now. I'm gonna change parties. You bet like. I don't think change parties. I think yours you need this. Man's vote for every single thing. You want to get done every..

"Swear to god and everybody was hitting me up in my. Dm's yesterday saying did you finish it. Did you finish it. Oh my gosh wait till you finish it. It's so good it's it really is something that doesn't disappoint. And that is my danielle report. Daniel sony many people are texting and talking about how they formed coups at work and walked out. Yes i think we haven't neutra online twenty four. Let's see what's going linea tre welcome to the show. Hi hello so okay. You staged a coup at work. Tell me how you did this. We need to learn from you. All right so by our manager was being difficult she wanted us to prostrate a different department and we were all upset because she didn't know how to do our job so whenever anybody will call out or if it was a lot of call outs she would call somebody in. Because she didn't know how to do the job so one day playing all of a slam. We got tired of it to all of us plan to call all the same day. We all call it out on the same day and she had to do all our jobs and department in one day. Did it change anything at work now. Not fairly but she's not there anymore and most of us are to me. That sounds like a very significant change. So when you were doing it. I mean were you just really passionate about it. We're gonna do this. we're going to. We're going to prove a point where it's a little a little frightening i mean. How did you feel when you were doing this. It was it was a little. Because i didn't. We all didn't care. I didn't think everybody was gonna call out. I thought somebody was gonna pro now. And if she was. I know you can't call out but everybody off. We all texting each other and everyone's out. Everybody was like here. We saw out. I was like. Oh my gosh we are going to get in so much trouble when we get the work and then when we got the work she was just bad she had attitudes and talk to any of us all feel like really super nice to our and she was all you guys pulled out. Why did you call out. And i'd say jersey. You can't add this out. You know. I have to say there are several ways to look at it. If for instance if all of us together were were collectively passionate about something going on iheart media that we we really disagreed with and we all banded together and walked out. It's actually because there is. There is a level of respect for each other. We're doing it with each other. You know and actually we're doing it because we like our jobs. We need to prove a point to the company that they need to step up to the plate and they need to fix these things because we like working here otherwise we'd just quit. You know by the way the majority of us we all know how to do each other's job. It was only a few of us who didn't and she went and listen because if it was busy and i was the only one there because somebody else did come out. She couldn't come down and help me. So then i would be saying. We're we're and when she would say. Okay i'll come down. She was the on the computer next to me and to me emails while i have like fifteen things to do now right. That sounds like me and the show all the stuff. That's scary scotty. Being all the technical stuff that producer. Sam does. And i could never do that stuff. So if if they formed a coup against me i would be powerless. I would be sitting here. Like i don't know i would cool with you. Thank you for listening to us. You go have a great day. Okay guys thank you so much. Yeah look all the texts. We formed a coup against our eighth grade. Math teacher here. Someone that says they work at a convenience store and the whole second shift walked out locked the doors and left. Thank god. They locked doors right. That was nice. It's just very interesting and you can't look at it. It's just like civil disobedience. it's actually there's there's a behind it you know like i said if you didn't you just leave you just quit like i don't care walkout but scary. You're not walking along. Screwed where i would say. Yeah we all agree. I'm the only person would agree with you do it. And nobody would look you know. I think i may be an unusual person in a profession that i it admits freely. I cannot do what you people do. I can't do what you do. that's why you're here. That's why we're successful. Because i i couldn't do this by myself. I'm not at all and so third time. There's a time to time moment when you guys have a problem whenever i'm gonna help you. I'm gonna try to help you work it out because i need you here and tape. Scratch go made it through anyway. So i thank you for what you do in anytime everyone anyone ever asked me. "All right, Joe let's go. All right. So All of last week I've been morning you. I'm just trying to do a public service. I promise you on my word on my credibility on everything that matters to me. I'm not trying to unnecessarily scare you I was traveling this weekend to a different place and when I was traveling a couple of people came up to me in a restaurant asked me some stuff and to those people they watch my show. They know me who watching now. Did I not tell you the same thing? I'm telling my audience now? This coming coup, the Democrats are planning in front of our eyes is a really really big deal. Coming through that sounds like. A It's not a conspiracy theory. I've just using the Democrats own words folks they are legitimately in front of your is talking about a coup. WHO That sounds crazy. Does it does that sound crazy? No. Of course not to you you produce the show you get to see everything in advance. There is some people out there who still think I'm making this up So I was sent this article this weekend by no less than probably two thousand people. This thing must've went viral by Guy I've seen on Fox you know I'm a contributor of. I've seen him on TV I watched the network to. It was in the American mind and the piece is called the coming. Gu. I, didn't plan this Michael Anton wrote it listen folks this is in the show notes. If there was ever a time to read the show notes today, Bongino Dot, com slash newsletter subscribe to my show notes it's free. I'll email you the stuff every day and got one fourth read this read this and send it to your friends. What's the premise of the article bottom line up front? The premise of the article is this. There is a conspiracy going on right now. To basically overturn overthrow the results of the two thousand election if Donald trump if Joe Biden winds joe where everything will be okay. None of this will happen. Of course. Yes. They trump wins no matter how big the win is he could win forty nine and a half out of fifty states using Joe Biden Matt. They're not even hiding the fact actually I wouldn't be Joe because some states the Braskin Maine actually split up their electoral. What's right. So they're not even hiding this and as the author writes, which is a great great premise. What are the two rules of conspiracies? I'll get to this stuff in a second. Number One. Never, talk about the conspiracy remember fight club was the first rule of fight. Club never talk about fight club. What's the second rule. That the best way to hide the conspiracy, the coup conspiracy is to pretend it's not a conspiracy at all and trump's doing it. Oh Oh you're gonNA love this show. Oh Stay tuned. Let's go to screen shot number one for Michael Anton terrific piece about the coming to. This is a long one about a paragraph long but ladies and gentlemen this is worth your time. They're talking about the ravings of Joe Biden and about not respecting the election results and things like that, and it says right here, this is an important. They openly advertising what they're going to do if they're gonNA lose so quote from the Peace One might dismiss such comments. It's the ravings of a dementia patient and it has been who never got over his own electoral talking about by. Obviously. But before you do consider this. Over the summer, a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which one hundred Democrat grandees anti-trump former Republicans and other ruling Class APPARATCHIKS got together on George Soros is dime. To game out various, outcomes of the twenty twenty election. One. Such outcome was a clear trump win. In that eventuality former Bill Clinton White House chief of Staff John Podesta playing Biden refused to concede. Pressuring states that trump one to send Democrats to the formal electoral college vote and trusted that the military would take care of the rest. Room. We've already discussed this report. They're referencing in the Michael Anton piece, the Transition Integrity Project. If you haven't seen this report, look it up I've got a lot more in this ahead the lady running it shocker Joe has a long affiliation with George Soros. You know liberal money guy loves to give money illiterate style. You're stunned by then Stein Rosa Brooks I know you're set hold your your your astonishment. Can it like a beach ball underwater? Openly talking about states trump wins. Just sending Democrat electors to the House of Representatives anyway. We don't respect. The popular vote within our state. and. We're just going to send our people to elect Biden anyway and we're going to let quote. Take. Care of the rest according to the peace. Folks they're not hiding this. This is extremely dangerous I cannot warn you in more dire or stronger terms right now. Be ready for a solid month of total chaos after the election. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm simply repeating to you with the Democrats are or read already telling us. Remember that. Famous Dennis, green meltdown old coach, the Arizona Cardinals, a football team when they played the bears and they lost. And the guy asks a stupid question. Dennis Green melts down. It says, they are who we thought they were. They remember that look it up. It's hysterical. The Democrats are who we think they are. Not Free speech anti free elections tyrant socialists who are getting ready for a coup.

"Or spend their limited money there is a lot of people are tight for cash right now. and. So this is something that is going on in the Philippines and it. It's a huge employer in their country but personally in. I'll be really sad to see job we go under I really like it have you been. I've been once. I don't remember where. There's not ask common the US, but I have not heard of it before. Yeah it's very it's very interesting if you look at their. They have like rice and chicken. Little Plate is Kinda cute. Car I'll check it out. It's better. McDonald's with Rice. and. So I it's it's very interesting, but I would definitely recommend Jolly I can't pronounce it. And that's the end of politics. One thousand one recommends saying. Well anyways. Good Luck Philippines. The fast food giant again as usual ploy or so it is very devastating for the people. And the. Natural Channel But anyways, we're going to belong to our last story today. And but it is a very interesting story. I'm very important that we talk about this so. Over, hold on. Okay. So one more thing actually about Joel recruitment because I think this is important the branches you is the spokesperson for the Child Chalabi pronounce any has said that they are going to give all employees some aid they're gonNA give common compensate them. So they're closing down these branches means to kind of instead of spend that money to keep the branches, open the bills to use that money to help pay employers that's important to know they're not just completely leaving about look. So. anyways. We're GONNA on now to the trump administration in Canada so. Washington and Ottawa going through a little bit of a chair four. Shall we say so the trump administration has to see squabble a little bit of risk level yes. And you trump administration has decided that now. Just like Pakistan last week has decided that now is the perfect time. There's never a better time to play some tariffs on Canada. What is these terrorists while they are a ten percent tariff on aluminum? Going to Canada and that has angered Canada. They're like, what are you trump? Is this really necessary right now that is you know as native, you're in trouble when you`re Canadians. And trump we'll get to why trump to that in a sec but Canada has responded by placing two point seven billion dollars with terrace on US goods responding they said that is equal to to what they the amount of damage that the US was placing on candidate says two point seven billion..

"We'll be looking back at both. Of those culprits sally matches. Its been a good week, doesn't it? If you're a Chelsea fan, of course, it looks like my will be heading to Stamford. Bridge and that couple with a big sign evacuate Zayeck join for the start of next season as well no of positive buzz around Chelsea and suggestions, maybe not even done yet. Gamal called is still with us. Be Nickel joins the show as well. What happened here because? Without transit fine, they were pushing youth, but that's still seems to be the rhetoric narrative coming out of Chelsea, despite the lifting of that ban not seems to have changed. I've lost a couple of weeks. No I. Mean Look. They had little choice, but to go and dip into There are many youth team products Jody Morris. WHO's? Frank Lampard Assistant, obviously former youth team coach. These guys really really well. I think it's more than than tenue products who appeared for them? this season and I. Think a lot of people got a got a chance to to show what they could do. Think a lot of these guys will continue to be to be a part of it but equally. Very promising youngster on a successful youth team to play to a certain level and think it's another one. To to go and be irregular. On a team that goes and challenges for the Champions League and the primarily in so i. don't think everybody's GonNa make the grade necessarily Chelsea but for the time being all these kids are being are certainly being being kept around, and you know if anything you can look at Zayek as competition for for Mason Mount. Perhaps you can look at team Verner as an attorney to Abraham or Hudson Joy. By, but you know at some point you know. They obviously have to continue and upgrade. That's the thing now. Isn't it? CD Frank Lampard to try and get that balanced rights to continue to improve these young says but overall. It's about winning, isn't it? Well I think he's reached the stage particularly with with the posturings being open the. I'm sure the club Oh more than happy. The Sandwich out the four that would have been the I dream for them. When Frank took over considering the worm probably quite sure what what to expect. So, no Franks pass the first stage of of getting the trust of everybody, the players in the board and Salad the owner and know that he's going to buy players. From. No one is going to be about one because when you spend money. As soon as you start spending money, you expect it to get results and to get resulted Chelsea means one and saw a whole new percents. No, he has very quickly bid and the players. Bringing. But, but they still have to win as well God. How come Chelsea? Ahead of the game it seems a moment. One thing that they've done really well over the years is obviously they've. a lot of young players who they've sold or sign. Foreign players who they could go and get money for, and they've generally sold extremely well. I am not as probably what's giving them their flexibility in this time in the case of a verner anxiety. They moved very very early obviously. We don't check. all along. Knew that Chima verner that liberal. We're in the driver's seat for team over her, but he kept the conversation going I mean he. He went over most recently in February before the lockdown to talk to him. to try to convince them You're asking. Why is it that everybody's talking about this huge hit and the uncertainty of that they took because of the pandemic. Chelsea case you've got to very high earners like William. Federal, both going out of contract not being re signed. That frees up a salary money, and I think they've been smart the way they've gone around things. You think of a guy like Tammy Abraham You need another center forward, but equally you don't want somebody who's GonNa make Abraham necessarily feel insecure. So what you do is you extend to as you root for just one year, so you have alternative the big man you bring in Verner, who can obviously play center forward if needed, but can also play with timing Abraham. David Very careful I, think lampert and Jody Morris Alvin in terms of nurturing of the younger players. Another one is billy. Gilmour for for example. WHO's the guy land by absolutely adores. Georgina, who plays in his position, genial may leave in the summer if the right offer comes, but equally like the idea of having Virginia around for another year and kind of managing the handover from Virginia to somebody like Gilmore. If! He's ready so the combination of those factors plus the fact that you know they have an excessive players now I think in the middle of the park. Some of whom across sparked. They're trying to sell to raise money. Gives them. Perhaps the level of flexibility that some other teams don't have right now. I have. A. Couple of days ago. Where do we stand on.

A lot of analysts have no idea what's going on right now. I was one of them. Thank you for explaining it. I'm excited finally Melissa's back. It's underway I think immediately. What catches my eye is how they plan to go about this in this tournament style World Cup style. If you will by the way is still doesn't have a name Shirley. It's going to be sponsored by somebody. Who's The lucky someone? We don't know yet? But this group F-. If you will this group of death in my eyes, at least if you look at it, I mean you have Elliot Z. With one of the most exciting players and Carlos. WHO's the face of this league? And the galaxy their cross town rivals. You have Houston Dynamo where the open. Cup Champions who under Tab Ramos are very interesting, and then you have the Portland Timbers will have been a thorn on the side of L. AFC since their existence, a very interesting, little dynamic in rivalry, going on right there with LLC and Portland. I'm very excited for this group. I this is promises to have some fireworks tournament, so I'm glad it's kicked up. I'm glad we know WHO's coming I'm glad we know where it's going to be glad. MLS is back. Thank. "Be given and somewhere around midfield, but usually is not given inside eighteen yard box. I was a little surprised at my would have given initially, but once he calls it a penalty. Then they tend interpretation cold by Him, and so is not a clear and obvious air, and so therefore. That's why I understand the A are not. Overturning the call I might be able to host obviously had seen a push or by leaning on the young and clearly thinks. Again, that's one that you see out in the middle of midfield and say yeah, sure foul inside nineteen yards usually is judged differently. It shouldn't be, but it is judged differently in this case. My who says you know what that's a foul in the middle of midfield, it's a following Saturday's are penalty kick. Alley mentioned meanwhile the virtual crowd. Gab wasn't quite while I was expecting is just kind of like different. Colored Rose Petals on my scattered in the seats. You couldn't see or identify particular features. Did it work for you? You. Kind of did I mean I'll when when the shot is on on the pitch and you just kind of see it in the background. A kind of you know you kind of looks like a looks like a crowd. It looks like there are people there, which is what you want I mean unless you unless you stop and start gazing at it, in which case you're not watching the match, in which case you're not a football fan. Obviously there's some glitches with it because it was whatever whatever it cut to a replay I. Don't know exactly the tech behind it, but all of a sudden the crowd was God so that was kind of weird to look at but. I think for the flow of the game. Those people who are disturbed by empty seats I mean I. Think contributes to it and I think it's something it's something to to build on.
