What's the Deal With Biden's Clueless FAA Nominee?
"Charlie, did you see Phil Washington? Oh boy, this is a great topic. Biden's pick to lead the FAA. Completely fail under scrutiny of senator Ted Budd, from North Carolina. Why on earth does Biden insist on unqualified nominees? And Diane from Oxnard, California. By the way, Oxnard right next to not next to you, but right near Santa Barbara. And so thank you for the question. She said, didn't we just have a breakdown of air travel over the holidays? You know, it's interesting. Tucker Carlson deserves a lot of credit for this. Tucker years ago would do monologue after monologue trying to warn people that woke ism, one of the first things woke ism will, in fact, and it will harm your day to today life is infrastructure. The ability to get from one place to another place to get goods from one place to another place. This is one of the most painful clips I think you'll ever see. And one of the reasons this keeps on happening is because the Biden regime does not believe competency is the top priority or the reason to be in a leadership position in government. Here's Phil Washington, the nominee to run the FAA he goes zero for 7. It's an extraordinary clip play cut one 13. Mister Washington, can you quickly tell me what airspace requires an ADS-B transponder? Not sure I can answer that question right now. So what are the 6 types of special use airspace? Sorry, senator, I can not answer that question. So what are the operational limitations of a pilot flying under basic med in senator? I'm not a pilot. So can you tell me what causes an aircraft to spin or to stall again, senator? I'm not a pilot. Okay. Let's keep going. What are the three aircraft certifications FAA requires as part of the manufacturing process that the three types? Okay. Let's just keep going and see if we can. Get lucky here. So can you tell me what the minimum separation distance is for landing into parting airliners during the daytime? I don't want to guess on that senator. Are you familiar with the difference between one O 7 and part 44 8 O 9 when it comes to unmanned aerial? No, I can not it's okay. Senator Ted Budd, I got to give him credit. He did a fabulous job. He's totally wrong on Ukraine. That's not even a topic because I've been a little bit hard on him recently, but that is a masterclass in how to just run a Senate hearing.

Remembering Rush Limbaugh One Year After His Death
"The great Rush Limbaugh went to heaven. He was special. I'll tell you what. All the times driving all across the country, it was a tradition. When I was first getting turning point USA started, I would rent cars, you know, I couldn't rent a car until I was like 22 or 23 or whatever. And I'd always be going to meetings. And I'd try to schedule my meeting so I could be in the car during rush. And so you'd Google Los Angeles, Russia affiliate. And I'd be driving from I don't know, Santa Barbara or Oxnard to Orange County. And I'd be making calls in between, but right there on the radio was rush. No matter where I was in the country I could always get my rush and so then my great friend Tom Patrick May he rest in peace. He was so special. He really got me on to rush when rush I think was at his best rush was at his absolute best. In my personal opinion, not that he was ever bad, but just when I think he was just hitting home run after home run during 2016, 17 and 18, those were the three years where rush was most needed when it was the Christine balls a Ford stuff. The Russia gate stuff and the Trump stuff in 16 rush was spectacular. He kept people at ease about Trump, he kept people at ease about the whole thing. He was he was just so special. I could go on about my stories. I got to know him personally. And he was a friend.

He is running to replace Governor Gavin Newsom and next week's recall election. Mayor Faulkner. Welcome to the breakdown. It's great to be with you. Thank you. So this race has changed pretty significantly over the past. What? 9 10 11 months Since you announced your candidacy, you were one of the first big name candidates to jump in. You've long been expected to throw your hat and some gubernatorial ring. I'm just curious like what's your take on how this race has progressed over the year Given the attention one of your opponents layer elder? I don't know his opponent the right word in the real but is getting and and just, you know, I mean, February to September, and 2021 politics is like a lifetime. It is, and it's certainly a unique situation in the recall. Um, but I'll tell you having just You know, I just finished a statewide bus tour. Um, there is a lot of enthusiasm for this recall from folks from from all parts of the state all walks of life. Democrats, Republicans, independents, Um and You know what they want is they want a change at the top, Um, one of the things that That I offer certainly is somebody who has the experience who You know, successfully managed the second largest city in our great state, but he knows how to bring people together to solve problems. Uh, that's what I was known as as mayor of San Diego. Whether it was what we did on reducing homelessness by double digits, keeping our cities say, focusing on infrastructure. Somebody who can do that and again and bring Republicans and Democrats. Uh, together. I think what we're seeing, uh, with you know with Larry Elder is that he started certainly as he jumped in with a large base from the national radio audience. But when folks are actually seen his positions and how wrong they are for California, I think a lot of people are having second thoughts. I wonder. Do you feel you know he did have that big social media following? Of course, he's got a national platform on the radio and has for decades now. Out of Los Angeles. Do you feel that either you or, you know, all of us, for that matter underestimated him. I mean, he does seem to do well in the polling. Of course, as they say, Polls don't vote people do. But what do you make of the fact that this guy who doesn't have any executive experience? He's never been elected to any things never run for anything. Bringing people together. Never run a city hasn't really, you know, run much of anything like and yet you know, there he is. What do you make of it? I think to your point to win in California. You have to win by addition. Uh, that's how I did it. It's mayor of San Diego, which interesting data point The registration in San Diego mirrors that of California as a whole 24% Republican. I won with 53% of the vote got reelected 58 You win by addition, Um, and that's not only how you win in California, but that's I think how you need to govern effectively. Is to bring Democrats and Republicans together If you try to, you know, just just win with Republicans. Only that doesn't work in California. Yeah, all right. Well, we want to talk a little bit about your how you got to this place. You grew up in Oxnard, Little north of San Diego. Your mom we read in one profile, worked as a secretary and attended night school to earn a PhD Um, I mean, was that something you remember? And how How is she balancing that at that time and talking to you as her kids about that kind of work? Um, no, I remember it. I remember it vividly. Um and My mom was the secretary. She went, She went to night school. Look, my mom said on my heroes she worked. She worked her butt off, Got her MBA and then and then her PhD. And so, you know, particularly when you know you have to have a governor that's going to be a champion for working women, uh, who's going to stand up for women's rights in the workplace? As you know, I've been very outspoken and vocal when Larry Elder came out and said it was okay if private employers in essence wanted to discriminate against women and asked if they were going to plan to have kids, Um, that's wrong. And so this is personal to me. Um, and it's personal for you know my wife, Catherine. So working bomb and I want I want to ensure that California's daughters have the same opportunities of California science. And so again, I think that's why it's so important that you have a Hey governor that understands. Um, you know, it's It's not about just a talk radio show, and you can say things. This is serious stuff, and it requires a serious candidate. Look, I'm proud to be a girl, Dad and and I'm going to fight for for women all across the state. So you were one of those kids who thought they'd get into government Pretty early. It sounds like your dad was a municipal city employee in Oxnard. What else did you and the work that he was doing? And I understand again from one of the profiles used to go to the City Council meetings, I think and just kind of Was that you were really fascinated by that. What? What was I did? Yeah. I mean, my mom was going to school at night. My dad was work for the city manager's office and off start I would be at the back of the council chambers doing my homework. And so God, I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry for right or for wrong. You know, that kind of stuff rubbed off and see in public comment and You know all of that. And so, Yeah, I just, you know, And both my parents instilled at an early age for for me and my sister. Um, you got to get involved. You know, you have the opportunity to make a difference. And so I saw that firsthand from not only their careers, but their volunteer work, so I went to San Diego State majored in political science and, uh, ran for City Council and ultimately, mayor. Um I love it. If you love the ability to make a difference to solve problems and to help people Boy, there's there's no better career around. So I understand your parents were Democrats. But at least by the time you were out of college you identified as a Republican,.

All you need to know for the weekend. It's going to be very, very hot Coast. Not so much inland. Definitely. Here's Henry. Chris, You've been listening. I appreciate that very much. Who gets a chance of thunderstorms today? Well inland. Yeah, You're right, Chris. What part of the, uh part of the I'm going to go with the mountain community? San Bernardino. Chris were so good. There's a little bit out in Arizona and we could throw some of it our way. You felt some humidity yesterday, along with the heat, you'll get some of that again is higher pressure builds back into Southern California. Could always wrap around a little moisture. A lot of times it gets hung up over the mountains, so mountain communities it's not a big risk, but you do have a slight chance of picking up a little moisture and bring it in a thunderstorm or two. I just don't want you caught off guard. I really don't think it's going to happen. But if you look at the afternoon future forecasts, see these little pockets here. At least it gives us a chance. Most of the energy is off towards the east. There is some humidity. Remember, this is moisture. We need moisture to create clouds, So we know there's an added moisture element. Whenever we see the shading here and as it moves back, not only do we get the heat, but we also get that humid feeling as well. So not the best of conditions, but it is July. This should not catch anybody by surprise. We know it gets hot in July. We know we'll do it through August and in many cases through September. Now what we will get is a nice little forecast. For those of you along the coast. You'll be generally in the seventies. You will see some warmer spots like Laguna Beach like Long Beach has a little bit to do with just the way that it set up. The airflow 97 for you in Riverside Hammett, one. Oh, three. Most of what we're seeing for downtown low to mid eighties. 81 is the average so not too far away from the average. We're hot through the inland valleys. 95 on Thursday is still warm Thursday of next week. But it is still you know, much better than the weekend forecast, which will have our hottest temperatures today. Tomorrow and maybe in some spots through Monday, still holding on to those temperatures above the average, certainly triple digits in the San Fernando Valley. So we are hot in the valleys and then we go to 92 on Thursday. So there is some relief there. Alright. Megan and Chris, we'll send it over to you. All right. Thank you Coming up..

"And friends. Let's break down into those little little details that you want to know right now. Okay, so typically three days worth of Disneyland tickets would set you back about $303. Now, if you want to add Park Park Hopper passes on top of that to go to either Disneyland or California adventure for three days. That's $477. Well. Now, with this special deal only for California residents, you end up paying $249 for regular three day ticket or $304 for a three day park Hopper pass. You do a little bit of math there. That's a savings of $54 for the single part tickets and a whopping $173 discount for pot Park Coppers. If you've got a couple of kids that money really does start to add up on top of those savings. If you state Disneyland resort hotels while you're here, you can get an additional 25% off the cost of certain rooms. Here's another reason why this is interesting. Disney is offering us Californians these discounted tickets during the peak of their summer season rush. Typically, these discounted tickets aren't offered until after the holidays when things slow down for the winter, and you know, not as many people are going Well, back out here live these three day tickets are valid. Now, through the end of September. You would just need to make sure that you block out these reservations and you can use them on any three separate days, too, So it doesn't have to be you know, Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, you can go on Monday. Then go on, like a Tuesday another week or, you know, Friday at some point, yes, you can split those days up. Pretty pretty good. Just another reason why it's it's good to be California. And remember, you do need to be able to prove that you actually live here in the state at the time of purchasing these tickets, So my freeloading friends from Minnesota They wouldn't be able to get these things just for us, Chris and Megan, just for us. So there is nothing that is your data is not used for any purposes, So our primary business is backing up understory and that's all we do. Alright again I drive has been around since the nineties. The company tells me that they have over four million customers and 400 petabytes of data backed up, which is a lot one. Petabyte is equal to One million gigabytes. Back up those photos, folks, I've got a link on my website rich on tech dot TV. That's the most important thing. I don't care how you do it. You've got to back up those pictures because Megan and Chris I get so many emails from people saying Rich. Yeah, I didn't take your advice. Now. What? And I'm like There's not much you can do. "It 6 51. This is the California report. Good morning. I'm Lily Jamali. A year ago today, George Floyd was murdered at the hands of Minneapolis Police. Shocking video of the incident led to demonstrations and protests across the country, including here in California. Many communities here have had their own reckoning on racial equity and policing, including Sacramento, where the police shooting death of Stefan clerk three years ago has sparked calls for change. California reports Mary Franklin Harvin spoke with Tanya Phase on the founder of Black Lives matter, Sacramento about how activists like her are thinking about sustaining the mo mentum behind the movement for racial equality. My experience. Momentum isn't something that one organizer organization can create. It's usually a moment or a certain person that's been taken The situation how they were taken that sparks something in the community where everybody wants to show up. We've lost 20 people since we've been doing the work in Sacramento, 20 black folks. The police violence, and Stefan Clark was the one who got the most people out because he was part of two communities. He's loved into communities in Sacramento. He had a lot of friends and then a lot of people. Were just drawn to that story. A lot of people will say, you know. Oh, Kanye, you organized the march knew that thousands of people out there like No, It's the situation that got the people out when it comes to George Boyd. I think the situation Woz is that there was back to back killings that were All of the continual, well known cold. It was in place, so people were at home just watching all of this. It's like they had them sit down and actually look at this instead of living their lives, like normally how we do and so I think that was what brought the moments amount and I hope that We continue could stay activated because I know it's gonna happen again. I saw the list on your website of people who've been killed since 2014 which was really trying to look at in black and white. And when you're talking, it just made me feel like there's this really sad irony that Sometimes the things that are bringing new energy to this movement are the new deaths, right? It's really sad that we that we what do they call that in like basketball like you on defense instead of on offense? It's really sad that you know it works that way. But You know, there are organizations on the ground like ours that are working in often. Um, you know, we're trying to make sure that things get changed. And then we're also trying to make changes within our community so that we have what we need. Can you tell me a little bit more about those resource is And how you feel like they're reinforcing the future of the black community in Sacramento. We're just trying to make sure that folks that are in our communities have what they need so that they're not Trying to get it in other ways, even if it's cloudy or career options or business ideas or You know, self defense, you know, learning how to box like whatever it is that you like to do. Doing it in a constructive way. And so that's the way we're having a lot of no, you're right training by organizations like they feel you and the, um, the national lawyer's Guild, But you know, they would say things like, Well, you don't have to show your license or idea if you're walking. And that's true legally. But if you're black and you tell officer know you might get killed, so we want to make a space where we confront all those services into the community and provide a place for folks to be reminded. On each other instead of on the system that we're fighting Tanya phase on founder of Black Lives matter, Sacramento I really appreciate your making time to talk to us. Thank you so much. I appreciate you calling me Now we'll hear from 15 year old Jayden Poke a racial justice advocate from Oakland. She spoke with the California reports Keith Mizuguchi about how she envisions the future of racial justice. Including why she thinks people are hesitant about the idea of de funding the police well. People are scared for one on bat. Fear is derived from Ignorance. People are taught from a really young age that you call the police when something bad happens. "On this Martin Luther King Day. Um, interesting thoughts I've been watching, you know, reading on social media what people have to say. Way we agree and disagree about things is funny. Social media makes me laugh the anger and people that then get indignant about anger. One of the things that was pretty consistent about Doc. Dr King was His desire for peaceful protest, and there is a difference between being peaceful and being meek. I don't think anyone would say that Dr King was a meek man. He was humble, I think, but I think he was passionate about what he was doing. A couple of things about the civil rights movement that always struck me. I grew up in the South was born in Cleveland, but I grew up in the South. And so I witnessed what would be considered institutional racism or just maybe societal racism. There were unwritten rules where I was when I was a little kid. But I also played sports and on the athletic field. There was no racism. Honestly, I was I was, It was such a dichotomy that I watched, um How it didn't matter. How? What cover you were. If you were the best player on the team you played I've mentioned before being teammates Pop Warner team mates with Deon Sanders and Watching that young man watching that kid turn into the superstar that he became the Hall of Famer that he became, um and how well respected he was on the athletic field. And then I watched some disrespect off the field. It was pretty amazing. But what I learned from the civil rights movement and from the way Dr King did things was he saw things more as much is of a Christian duty is a pastor. As he did as an African American man. And what I mean by that is his disappointment that there weren't other white pastors in the South to join him. Um He was disappointed in them because of their faith, not because of their skin color. And I remember the battle. Why was too young for the civil rights reading about the civil rights movement? I was born in 1967. So I saw the aftermath and I didn't see the fight. But watching The fight within about whether there was going to be violent protests or whether it was going to be peaceful protests and there was the Malcolm X Group that that thought violence was going to be the only answer that if you are peaceful, nobody listens. But also if you look back At what the symbolism is. It was a horrible time when people were marching peacefully, and they were bit by police dogs. They were bitten and chaste. They were they were knocked down. And severely injured many times by water canyons from cannons from fire trucks and The other thing was the growing number of white people that were marching with them that it was very difficult in the South the way it was to break ranks like that, and to stand up for what was right, and there was more and more people that began to do that. And they saw the horrible treatment and remember this wasn't just about people's hearts. This was about the laws, you know different water fountains, different restaurants, different hotels. And to see the changes that we've made over the years because of the changes that were made by that movement were pretty remarkable to me. We have a long way to go in this country. There's no doubt anybody who thinks that we're all just fine. And there's no racism doesn't exist in the hearts of people are wrong. Um, but maybe on a day like this, we can pause to see how far we've come. You know, to have a guy. Like Ray Charles, who had to ride in a different bus, who had to stay in a different hotel who couldn't play in some of the same clubs. But then the state song Georgia is his version of that song all these years later, and what an honored person he was before his death. Um It happened because there were people that were willing to stand up and say Enough is enough. And You look around it at some of the things we ought to be proud of. On a day like this, where we're recognizing changes in the racial makeup and how we see people. Um, One of the shining examples here in our city is our police chief. She e think that she's the right chief for the right time for a lot of reasons, But this is a girl that grew up in Phoenix. She became a police officer in Phoenix. She worked her way up through the command staff of the Phoenix Police Department. She left and became a police chief in another city in Oxnard, California for five years. Then she came back. And then she's the police chief. When all of these protests begin to happen, and having a conversation with her one day I said, You have a unique perspective. You grew up in African American girl in Phoenix. You are an African American cop in Phoenix, and now you're an African American police chief in Phoenix, and she said, Let me out of fourth. I raised two African American sons in this town. The celebration isn't because of her skin color. The celebration is because she is the right person to be. The people accept her is the police chief. She wasn't hired because of her skin color. She was hired because of a resume. That today is, you know that's what Dr King always wanted was people to be judged for the content of their character? Not the color of their skin. We are seeing more and more of that,.

NFL Live
NFL Schedule Released
"The NFL is prepared to be flexible. Based upon the Pandemic Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement which read in part in preparing to play the season as scheduled. We will continue to make our decisions based on the latest medical and public health advice in compliance with government regulations and with appropriate safety protocols to protect the health of our fans players club and league personnel and our communities. We will be prepared to make adjustments as necessary. One is just nice for everyone to have something to look forward to but Dan tell us about the contingency is the just in case things in the schedule your Susan the NFL releases a schedule. That indicates that they hope and plan to start on time and play the full sixteen game schedule as usual and that remains their hope. They're optimistic that it'll be the case but as you mentioned and has Roger Goodell mentioned there is obviously a chance and circumstances dictate otherwise so look for early things in the schedule that would allow for adjustments season being delayed season being truncated in week to everyone who plays each other and to the same bye week later in the year as their opponents. So if if that were to get eradicated you'll be able to make it up during the appropriate by weeks. There are no division games in week three or week four so if you had to miss those two weeks you could. You could have a season where everybody plays their usual number of division games the Super Bowl can be slid back a couple of weeks every city that gets awarded a super bowl has to have a contingency planning case. The game has to be delayed and Tampa obviously has one of those so those are the kinds of things that are in there that allow the NFL. A little bit of flexibility. If as they hope does not happen they have to make adjustments to the schedule. What's interesting we always talking about contingencies in the abstract? What if what? If a couple of years ago we actually lived in Miami Hurricane Irma came in. It was a very unusual situation. Tampa Bay was supposed to come to us in Miami to play the opener. That game was postponed. We immediately went into a bi week. Situation both US in Tampa and since we had matching by week's game shifted to later on the season so it was very surreal situation where we went training camp by week. We were all their players. Were allowed to be dispersed all through the country and then we reconvened in Oxnard California and the rams and the cowboys were tremendously helpful. We went back into a training. Camp Mood St Ross. The owner of the dolphins was tremendous. He put up a whole organization support. Staff families and our opener was actually on the road. Week two in the chargers against the chargers and we played sixteen games straight. So I know we're saying these things happen more in the abstract but who teams just three years ago actually live this very scenario. You have to be prepared for the what if and we all know putting the schedule together is so complicated anyway without contingency plans but it really looks like Howard. Cats and his team did a solid job of trying to prepare for everything.

"Be N._F._l.. Teams are in training camp but that doesn't mean every player is we've got hold doubts in key spots Saints Michael Thomas Chargers Melvin Gordon who else Yana can gakugei Jacksonville Trent Williams in Washington and of course Ezekiel Elliott in Dallas the big one big name that everyone's watching out there in oxnard California all guys that <hes> are heading into either the final year of their deal or wants some sort of adjustment on their contract before camp or the season starts so we gotta go through all these the person who helps us make sense of all this stuff is our own Adam schefter so Adam Una make this pretty simple. I will give you a name and you tell us the latest on that player. Start with Ezekiel Elliott of of the cowboys will Zeke Elliott has not shown up in Oxnard California side of the Dallas Cowboys training camp and they're going through physical today. They are basically supposed to be attending a team meeting and there's no sign of Zeke right now which tells you soup that it looks like at the very least Zeke Watch is underway and it certainly feels like this is going to be a hold out while the two sides tried to see if they can come up with a new deal for Zeke Elliott but no signs of him California this yet and no signs as of November by the chargers camp right now then this one is going to go on for a while the two sides basically have their own stances. There have differing pains. Nobody Gordon's value. I don't see this getting south anytime this summer I I think this one looks like it has a real chance to go into the regular season. It's time for Austin Ecuador and Justin Jackson and no Michael Thomas in New Orleans still you take the reading receiver off that team. The saints have offered to make them the highest a wide receiver receiver in football. It sounds like he wants to get to a very high threshold north of twenty million dollars a year. We'll see what they can get there where the saints a willing to budge but Michael Thomas wants to become not just a highest eight wide receiver in football but the highest paid wide receiver football by a long shot right now while we wait for Julio Jones deal to potentially come in later this summer Adam sit tight we we'll come back to you as as needed. We're going to go back and talk about Ezekiel Elliott though how important is even to the cowboys he's led the N._F._l.. Rushing yards per game in each of his first three seasons the only other players to do that in the ninety nine year history of the N._F._l.. or Jim Brown and Earl Campbell perhaps you've heard of them. Both of those guys are in the hall of fame name safe to say that few running backs have ever had a better start to their careers then has Ezekiel Elliott

Ezekiel Elliott reportedly still hasn't decided whether to hold out from Cowboys training camp
"There are weird. Reports coming on profootballtalk reported over the weekend that Zeke Elliott is headed out of the country potentially this week which is curious considering the cowboys training camp this week I mean that's low bold but yeah man I mean if Zeke's not there and that's look it would suck and let me clear nobody wants us but it would be interesting that that's what I'll say it would not at all be desirable it would not at all be preferred but it would be interesting because Zeke not being there would cast a shadow over for the entire camp that you know a lot of guys not being there would not really be missed to to just put it one way but Zeke Elliott not being there there. Would you would feel that and if he wasn't there I mean who's who's your rb one. I mean honestly who who's starting running back for the Dallas cowboys. If it's not Ezekiel Elliott Darius Jackson Toni Ballard I mean that that would be that would be interesting is really the only way I can put that so <hes> hopefully we don't have to wonder too long. Trump border wall: the hypocrisy of Trump's immigration agenda
"A cited said in his staff is cited factually, accurate, then why not just go ahead declared the national emergency Bill the wall and stop with all this grandstanding. Just do it. Right. Also, this idea he's also floated the. That the money that comes in from the new tariffs on goods is going to pay for it. Does this guy not know how the government works? That's not what happens. Okay. This money. Must be appropriated by congress. It doesn't come in from tax revenue. It has to go through congress. Okay. Through tax revenue. It's still has to be a portion by congress and congress is going to keep saying, no because guess what they were saying. No when when Paul Ryan was running them only, they weren't saying no as overly. But the fact of the matter is is the Republican party's donors are not happy at the idea of not having all that cheap labor being shut off. So this border wall thing is a game that they're playing with their base. Okay. Okay. Because he feared that Mr. sessions when he was attorney general would conveniently bury it and that Mr. Whittaker would do the same. And if it doesn't make him money or he feels it might stop him or prevent him for making absorbent amount of money because he's making money, but Jerry field, this might stop him in some way because he's still gets. Pushback this, even though this policy might go in the playoffs Steele might be allowed to kneel. At least I was pushing back. He can always fall back on that and the fans will stay with Jerry. One of them saying it was just the league, voted him and this what the players are allowed to do. So he'll always have that in his back pocket. If he loses the final, the final vote. But I am so disappointed, but I'm not surprised here reacted like this. So I'm going to reiterate to everyone wants more. I know Jerry very well. You could say all too well, I spent literally hundreds of hours interviewing him for three books that I wrote on the Dallas Cowboys one on the Tom Landry Cowboys. One on the Jerry, Jimmy Cowboys. One on the Jerry Switzer Cowboys that somehow in spite of itself won the Super Bowl. I don't often agree with Jerry's politics or his stances on lots of things, or he's worldview or sort of his perceptions. But I do respect one thing about Jerry, Jerry is who Jerry and he will let you know between your is exactly what he thinks and he doesn't care what you think. He's just going to tell you what he thinks and that I do respect that. He just is going to lay it right on the line that my players who collect the checks that I saw are going to literally toe that line as in, they're going to stand for the national anthem with their toes. On my line, it's my, it's called Jerry world. This guy nickname, but with toes on the outta balanced line along their sideline, your toes, you're going to be up on the line. You're not going to be back on the bench. You're going to stand. This is this is a decree from above in what. Did he call the big media session that he did yesterday, he calls it his state of the union, his annual state of the union as training camp opens out in Oxnard, California, not all that far from where we're sitting right now because he is the president owner and operator of the Dallas Cowboys. And he operates. Well. Argue he operates that way because these are his decrees for this year. This is how he feels about the end. He doesn't care what any other owner things. He doesn't care about the ongoing dialogue between the legal fishing, the players association. This is his policy. And originally it was said that each teen could sort of operate its policy the way each team one voted on his Gill. Okay, but, but within the confines of those rule, right, which was insane to me if you want to protest, you can stay in the locker room, right? Neil Bryant them. You can save you if you come out and you have them. But if you don't want to, you can stay in the locker. It was insane. Wasn't gonna work, and now it's not going to work because they're back to the drawing board trying to come up with a new idea. But in the end with Jerry, he's not going to hide what he thinks. He's not going to camouflage what he thinks and he's not going to do what Mike Brown had just done is the owner of the Cincinnati Bengals the day before, what am I Brown say? I was in St.. Acted by the league office not to comment anymore about our anthem. Paul's because there is ongoing dialogue. Well, that's the politically correct thing. Say I have to stand down. That's what might Brown said the Jerry standout. Did he care what anybody else said? What not improbably league wanted the owners not to comment because if they don't comment, maybe someone else won't comment, but we know that's not gonna stop when there's controversy swirling around daily. So I want to be very clear about this, but this is the one thing I appreciate about Jerry Jones. You know exactly who he is, who he's not..
