"But yeah i. I moved a little bit. Closer edged a little bit closer and called psalm. And and i had what i think was two hens first glance. It was it was hard to tell because they were in a bit of a thicket Come in a bit and just kinda hang up there. And then they moved on Yeah just didn't getting closer to that bird because they kinda they were hanging around for quite a while there but yeah no opportunities there. yeah good morning and I i'd like zero. Other than hearing. Hearing the gobbles and then i would kind of cluck back. I don't think i was prompting. Anymore gobbles because there is a little delay like i would cluck. What the hell is that. Yeah i would cluck cluck. And then he'd fire out you know maybe like ten or fifteen seconds later he'd fire off gobble and that that happened a little bit and then i was like i don't want to overdo it. Oh my goodness was expecting that Some bumps in the road no worries who still here. I guess they're doing construction on. This bridge did not realize that okay so anyway nothing that morning and But you know. I tell you like looking back. I was one came into this with kind of low expectations. So i didn't really know what to expect I hope that we could get a bird any amount of time that we we had allotted. We only had those four days like we didn't have another twenty four hours. We didn't have the evening Like the permit. The the quota permit that i drew from the fifteenth to the eighteenth so we only had that time. So that's when we set off and Headed back home. And i don't know the feeling like i don't feel defeated. I feel like i learned a lot about osceola turkey hunting in these moments Feel like if. I had a little more time. I could.

Man i have this thing in my head that have been wanting to do because just about every piece of public land. I've been to in florida. They have you have like forestry roads or vehicular access roads. Then you have. Oh v which has off highway vehicle roads and then you have sub sections of trails which are closed to motorized vehicles completely. So as like check this out. What if we took mountain bikes with us to do turkey hunting. And we just run and gun turkeys Cruise around the bikes check out the territory You know shock gobble call whatever. Try to try to locate where the birds are and then we'll zoom in the afoot but the bikes will let us get around so as driving here. We got to mountain bikes on the top of the car. Did we borrowed one far from will once borrowed from dustin. Thank you both of you. The leading bar that because it was game changer. But we're gonna talk more about that later So we planned. We blocked sh one day of travel up and then four days of hunting. And then the rest of the four day was back down so four days total of turkey related hunting activities And i wanna talk sort of like expectations. I guess it's a good time to do it. Low low expectations low expectations so For no for those. That have listened long enough. You know that. I'm not an avid turkey. hunter. I mean even less than avid turkey caller. But i've been practicing. That's new calls was listened to sound clips been practicing so That's gone for me. Got some sweet turkey. Hunting gear from alan company so Took my new shotgun case up there which was great. Got tons of pouches fit stuff in new sling for my shotgun which actually really liked. I used it a lot. And i had this kind of chest tarnished slash over the shoulder thing Like a little pack carried my by knows in my camera outside some slots for my Die calls it's got a spot on the side to for your your pot call sticks under what you call or the sticks for potholes called Yeah i just call him a stick. Yeah let's call him a stick anyway the sticks so you put those on the side to whatever so i found out that that works Not as well for me on the bike because actually lost one die for him calls. But when you're on foot moving and on foot sitting it's very convenient because you got kind of everything in you're working space that you need so that worked. Well it also has a tape measure on it to To measure gablers. Beer doesn't it. Yeah the show. A shocking case to the shotgun kit shopping case does get before shrinkage. You know come home and stuff. Yeah i did like I did like on the slain. The it's got a spot for your diaphragm calls and has got a little flap..

The Early Days of Esports: Competing in the Championship Gaming Series with Scott "Boomser" Bednarski

"I'm excited to talk with you after I talked with Aaron last week or two weeks ago. He was like you need to talk to Scott because Scott has some awesome stories from back in the day. So first first thing to start take us back to the days of the championship gaming series and set the stage for people who weren't watch sports at the time. What did that event look like? So back then with the championship series was first and ousted the Oceania region, there wasn't much news or information about the the series there was no like real announcements a TV show all these large Acquisitions that they are doing in North America and in Europe of these top teams back then so the the whole Prestige of it or the whole the whole production value just wasn't saved from the community in Australia and the Mets game in Australia still was Cal strike 1.6 and the game was to be played in Counter-Strike source. So when that news came out along the top teams of the top players back then didn't really have much of an interest in converting just to be into this red tournament that that was to be played in Asia in in in the Malaysian reads. So what actually occurred was minimum exposure to it earlier about six or seven teams from the Oceania region was to play this qualifier with not much, New Jersey. At all, I was actually part of the winning team. I was actually playing Counter-Strike 1.6 and I actually retired around that stage and when they realized that they had to go to Malaysia office. There was an age limit the chip should gave me serious said that you must be eighteen plus I'm assuming this got to do with the contracts that people have to sign but there's no mentions of salary said full-time work and and all that type of stuff that we professional player. So I was actually called out of retirement from my brother who was a part of the proud that when he came home and said you want to come over to Malaysia and I was like, oh free trip overseas that was like the bee's knees and Esports in Osceola and there wasn't many opportunities to travel overseas. I've done it a couple of times at least age boasts really rare. So I decided to come out of retirement and go over to Malaysia and we just knew nothing about anything. Even our manager knew pretty much nothing and we had one team Utility from Australia. Both Counter-Strike Source teams were flown over to Malaysia. We had the ballot bailed out between us on stage to determine which team would represent. Oh Chicago but where we got there. We're in this bus and we're just had no idea where we go. We were taking all these back roads in Malaysia. We just like, oh this is going to be one of those events that you read up about where everything's not organized and you know, the conditions are you know, fantastic but we got there. They took us to the most to this day. It's pretty one of the best hotels Resorts I've ever stayed in my life. It was a fantastic facility and they had all the teams from Asia there as well. So we had china we had to buy we had Malaysia we had Korea we had see a poor off all those countries were they're from Asia representing their their regions, and we're the only region that yet to determine who was going to represent the cows truck side of things. But yeah, we first got there was just fantastic and long story short we end up competing against the New Zealand team. It was meant to be telecasted but circumstances happened where we couldn't get home video tabs that we had to fight a red of net cafe in Malaysia that would accept us to play against each other with the CGS or officials and then we ended up defeating the New Zealand team quite convincingly off next minute reader that we get told that we played all the televised live production that's going to be sent all over the world to play against all the Asian teams. And yeah, it was a roller coaster from that. That's what everything pretty much

A Discussion with David's Former Investment Firm

"Welcome back to David Star. Great to be here. Thanks for having me. Yeah we'll works cited. We could we need some help with this podcasting thing and before we do a deep dive, we thought maybe we start out with the effigy year. So first things first, you often reference at Bejesus has not by name but your previous job. So listeners, what did you actually do it E. G. DE MATURE? So I joined Effigy Nineteen Ninety five it was a very small firm at the time only twenty five employees and then I was there seventeen years left in two thousand twelve and at twenty five person firm We pretty much did everything everybody did everything? So I was an analyst consultant. Research then I became a partner in nineteen, ninety eight eventually was on our effigy executive committee for many years I co founded what became effigies Osceola effort at the time it was called managed portfolios, and so I oversaw portfolios and then when I left I was. Co leading the research group is chief investment strategist and chief portfolio strategist. So it was it was a great. Have Very fond memories of a years at effigy and learned to bunch. He is you even prior to your came up we were. Looking at a research report and I said, well, how does that researcher Borno Greg is so old it David Stein road like oh boy. Update that one exactly a what are some of your favorite memories are lessons learned from your time at you? As a young firm at the. Twenty five employees there's always been very low turnover both from co workers, partners and clients, and so it's just it's those years of being with colleagues and clients and the trust that you. You have in in your fellow co workers and that that's one thing I miss about not being with a firm is just the trust you have in your fellow partners. What learn was just we were all curious. And we were all trying to figure out how invest markets work, navigate, increasingly complex capital markets, and so I I really liked the constant change and that's that's one reason I got into investing instead of having to move to the next job all the time. Everything else was moving around us in terms of how markets revolving and so that that was great and the big takeaway from that is as you know, you learn humility as an investor and and the reality is no one really knows what's going to happen. I thought when I was an advisor that I had to know that like people were paying me to predict the future and you realize that you can actually manage assets an allocate assets without having perfect foresight. There's ways to manage risk and to do that and make decisions and just recognize that we don't know and the humility that comes from that longer you invest. Great there's definitely a difference between risk and uncertainty, and sometimes you you just have to embrace the the uncertainty and I thought that was that was very well said I certainly recognized I know a lot less than that I, thought I, did each year. I know less. Is a great a great mark I remember the day we're we're at A. Orders RETREA. I'm just GonNa retire and your whole life David. You're you're too young to retire like. See Retire and do what you did immediately. Turn podcasting you retire what happens next. Well now. So I left in two thousand twelve and I launched the podcast in two thousand, fourteen I I spent a couple years writing about investing I was a number of. Businesses. I started. Shut Down Because I. Was Afraid Somebody would hire me I had been investment advisers for so long I just I loved investing I just couldn't find. The way that wanted to continue to do it without. So I didn't have to manage assets and have that that Wade of that fiduciary responsibility i. was a guest on a podcast in two thousand fourteen realized that that was kind of fun because what I missed about. Effigy was an opportunity to teach to go to. An endowment, Investment Committee and to just talk about investing and talking about our latest research and so. After that guest appearance few weeks later, experimental launch a podcast though structured kind of like an investment committee just not do interviews do more a solo show twenty-five minutes talking about money the economy investing and at the time. Everyone, was more people were getting smartphones, they had data plans, and so I saw a shift. And podcasting timing turned out to be very good. As, there were not really that many investing podcasts. At the time and so that that's what I've been doing since. So it's been six over six years now.

"Alone. Who are you? Major John was up high. His charity. We know anybody. Okay, right? Um, this is okay. Not okay. Yes. Extremely not okay. Not okay that they're not letting people in with headdresses and face paint and whatnot. Absolutely. You're gonna limit the amount of people that come to see the game will start to help our sorry, little right. Right. So you're limiting that then you're going to tell The fans how they can support the team. Now they can and cannot cheer him on. Have we ever gotten the background on? Why your name is Cherokee? Are you actually native American like candy? From this? Yeah, descended other Yeah. At school, and and I I chose the name. I did change my name, but I, but I chose it to to, you know, keep keep that heritage alive for you then, And that's what These football teams have done. They're going to take their going to take away. Ah. Osceola from Florida State next. I'm pretty sure right? Hey, you know, I you know I Cherokee in the winter months likes to wear having his head. Keep his Wigwam. Absolutely thank you Turkey and I've gone through life without a papoose. Oh, I love that word. Love that word papoose. Means little tiny native American, baby. Oh, it does. Yeah. Oh, I thought a papoose held the baby. No, I think the papoose is not the baby. The baby. A papoose is a brand name of oven article of clothing that holds a baby. But Pappas is Native American talk for baby. Oh, yeah, Well, I will say when you look it up in the dictionary, a type of bag used to carry a baby to Ah, young North American Indian child. Yet I don't think that one's racially insensitive as ah. Qu es w, which they I thought meant Lady Indian, but actually means something worse. It's also a rapper. You gotta live alone. Rapper Great show. I just want to mention that drew their actual exception to like. What professionals will use a great example. Never heard of. You know, I'm sure you know Kevin Garnett, who he's act, Kevin Garnett. You know, he's actually the Tories for trash talk, actually. One person that would go too far. There was one guy mother have us having cancer treatment and everything during the play offs. He actually would say something about his mother dying with cancer. That sounds like Look, I'm not saying I know Garnet. I interviewed him when he was a rookie and I followed his entire career, and he was intense, passionate, etcetera. That to me, and he's brilliant and uncut gems. By the way was that to me? Sounds like an urban legend. I'm Googling Kevin Garnett. Mother cancer. Whoa! Relax. Relax. Won't understand. I'm just saying lt's Get firing. Yeah. So the sound like it was the thing. It's never been confirmed. Doc Rivers spoke out against it. Never been concerned. Boston coach Doc Rivers feels what is set on the court should be left on the core. Detroit's Charlie Villanova took to Twitter on Tuesday night, writing on his account that Kevin Garnett called him No. This is different called him a cancer patient. No. Villanova suffers from alopecia. Here. Here we go. There's a totally unconfirmed rumor. It may very well be false. If it were true, this would easily be the worst thing Garnett has ever said on the court. The T Wolves played the Spurs at the Alamodome for a first round playoff game on May 9th 1999 at some point in the game. Garnet told Duncan Happy Mother's Day mother effort as the Spurs legend lined up for a free throw. Duncan's mother had passed away of breast cancer one day before Tim's 14th birthday in 1990. Thie incident has never been confirmed. But Duncan does indeed hate Kevin while Duncan hates Garnett. Well, Yeah, and it's almost worse that he was calling this other guy a cancer patient when he has a condition that caused him to lose his hair. Yeah. These are these are bad things, but I don't think so. But I also think Kevin Garnett is probably near the extreme, at least in basketball. The extreme, like Gary Payton and Kevin Garnett talked Morris back, I will tell you of all the athletes I've ever had the pleasure of interviewing. Kevin Garnett was phenomenal, but Tim Duncan was the most humble, insightful Amazing athlete that I've ever got to interview final answer alive, Alot and Gary Payton has ugly feet. Hello. I just want to talk about the It's okay. It's okay. You're right ahead. I think it's I think it's okay. Um Because I think that now all chiefs technically where a headdress, so that's where it's like cultural appropriation. And then also if you've ever been to a game I don't like people wearing something right in front of me saying putting up a sign, don't you? I'm with you. Right, right. That's true. I got somebody with a giant head dress in front of me, and I'm trying to see the game. Yeah,.

I had to wash her hair. Four-time right yeah you're supposed to boil water and then put the put the cool later the crystal light in it and then you sit there hair in that hot boiling Crystal Light Water for fifteen twenty minutes then you rinse it and that will dye their hair It has to be hot. Yeah and who can get a four year old to sit in hot boiling water? You'RE NOT GONNA put the hot boiling water on the child as much as just have like a ponytail of their hair. And just sit them. Tell them to sit still at while you hold the ponytail into the cup because it's not their whole head it's just GonNa be like the ends or the what about right like we did Sophie as ends. But I'm telling you like we had to go and cut it out because it never. It never faded but it never washed out of that too and I still decided to do it right. Except you just rub your kid with crystal light powder so. I was like look. I don't know if you can tell but my hands are still like. I watched them so many times. But I was like this is going to stay for long time. Even look so good girl and then. I realized that I messed up. Yeah well you could try it again. It just has to be you know you have to be it has to be Piping Hot. I will never try to get my house. Looks like a crime scene. Well I you know I mean that's okay. Future of Cognitive Automation: Interview with Manish Rai, VP, Automation Anywhere

"Hello and welcome to the today podcast. I'm your host Catholic And I'm your host Ronald Schmeltzer. So today we're really thrilled to be here at automation anywhere for day. And we have a special guest. Our guest is who is the VP of product marketing automation anywhere. How many thank you so much for joining us on today's Today podcast. Thank you for having me. Yeah thanks for joining us today. We'd like to start by having you introduce yourself to our listeners. And tell them a little bit about your background and your current role at automation anywhere. My Name is money. Sri and vice president of product marketing. I'm responsible for all the offerings automation. Anyway I have been in the industry for twenty years and in product marketing for the last fifteen years and I focused on AI. For at least five years out of those fifteen years so really excited to be here and excited to be talking to you and your community who gray and I think you here at at the day. The focus that I a part is intelligent automation for our listeners and intelligent automation has gained adoption in many sectors in recent years and one of those places that people may be familiar with intelligent automations as concert robotic process automation. Rpi So many people see our and intelligent automation as a gateway to more cognitive forms of automation. Such as artificial intelligence and so. What role does play to move? Companies up this ladder of intelligent automation so arbeit is primarily used to buy enterprises to automate repetitive business processes and what? Rta has gotten good at over. The last decade of innovation is going to wear the decides helping companies collected from the systems where the data decides and oftentimes that data is split across multiple it systems. That could be a legacy mainframe system DOS system and a modern cloud based enterprise software and it can find that data stitched together formatted in the right format so it can be used by platforms starts fair. A big value comes in and then often people take that data upload to a platform and the cloud and then it gives you some results and you have to act on them and again our P. is handy is taking those results and triggering the next steps in the workflow in the enterprise system so increasingly what people are finding is arpey is the perfect solution for orchestrating. Ai and it's more so because today you have a fragmented ecosystem of platforms that is companies like Beta robot. That might have good Auto Mau. Google translate may work very well versus Microsoft. Osceola works handwriting. And so when you try to combine that together and use those technologies you pick the best of breed from these solutions and is a natural solution for staging than orchestrating across that and that leads into my next question because I think that in order for organizations to really get and realized the power of intelligent automation they need to combine technologies and approaches including our PA but then other cognitive technologies as well. You know like you said they WanNa pick and choose the best. They don't want to be locked into just one vendor or one solution and we see this around our seven patterns of Aids while the our listeners. Know we talk about a lot on our podcast. So the idea of hyper personalization. And if they want predictive analytics and they want gold driven systems and they want to be able to spot patterns or anomaly. They're going to need different solutions in different toolkits for each of those. So can you share with us some examples where RPI and other approaches are used together to help address some of these challenges and automation? Yeah I think if you look back at the history of the company one of the first Will be spotted. An opportunity was in understanding document. Because when you were can start automating processes in the back office. Many of the order to cash procure to be you have invoices and purchase orders. Which are people? Based and fortunately there's lack of standardization of what invoice should look like and sometimes marketing folks like myself go crazy and making the invoices looking pretty which creates a challenge for technology put understanding and processing it so dot be looked at all the INTELLIGENCIA solutions and David. Not Designed for business. Use It in mind who using our automate these processes so we decided to create Iq Baud. Which was a new category intelligence document processing? Today's the fastest growing category in enterprise software growing faster than our and. It's the fastest growing product line and automation. So that was the first stadium be saw we have more than five hundred customers who are using that and every quarter hundreds of new customers as signing on so it's adoption like. I think we were talking to one of the investors and who was saying that if I was a standalone company. It'll be a unicorn in itself so that's one eighty via seeing tremendous adoption. Second Avia people started looking at it when you're looking to automate. Business processes often the underlying applications change. And you need more intelligence to adopt changes in the application for minor. Changes and computer vision comes into play. That's where we started applying ai sense which uses deep learning and computer vision to adopt changes and also work in difficult to automate environments like virtual desktop environments. Where you don't get legless screen like ice? Gm page streamed as an image. So you have to use computer vision to understand. The different fees are so a robot can click on that field and perform some action then. What we found lately is the number of use cases. Starting couple of years started multiplying big time. We have a big company. That's destructing the hospitality space and David getting thousands of listings from people wanting to list their property on their site and David combat images and people will have to manually review the image to extract amenities and they created a model in using computer vision. Now an rt about takes. The listing sends the images to Google preteen model which automatically extracts the amenities available based on the pictures. And they found that they can approve twice as many listings. Now at me the listings went up to experts because a lot of people who list and they'll be waiting for approvals and they'll abandon the listing so their listings went up to x by using automation. And that's an example and other company to Silicon Manufacturing and they take pictures to figure out defect and people are manually analyzing those pictures look for defects to do they need to reject the way for and now the train the computer vision model in the cloud and be takes those pictures. Upload Staten Automatically determines what should be rejected. So they're a lot of interesting these use cases via beginning to see

"So Osceola is saying they need more money for infrastructure due to the growth. But isn't there more money coming in already from the growth for there is? But there is a property taxes impact fees negative borne out by people to buy new homes and homeowners. Yep. So this is a way that they feel like they're spreading it out. I'm just letting you know I live in Orange County and got a dog in this hunt. But I mean there's trying to spread it out and say, listen, everybody gets to pay instead of just the homeowners. So if lawmakers want more money, they are going to have to raise taxes periods somehow some way, whether it's the ad valorem or the sales tax or something, they're going to have to find a way when you and I talk about toll roads what I always say I say we got to pay for them somehow roads. Don't pay for. Hey, gas tax or your taxing somebody or you're hitting tolls money has to come from somewhere to build things for us all to us, if you want those things money has to come from somewhere. The question is, do we want it to come from this one place? Or or, or the question would become should the lawmakers learn to live within the budget that they have currently, I don't know how you stem the tide of growth. That's the thing that they're running head on into Orange County is getting to the point where it's pretty well. Built out seminals kind of the same way Osceola has land, lots and lots and land. The growth is coming, so you can say, well, they should live within their means, but the growth is going to get here before we really have the, the cash to go deal with it. And so we've got to figure out a way to deal with a now and that's kind of what you're hearing from from at least the leaders in Osceola county. Let us know this morning. Hit us up on the open, Mike. Climate intelligence has to come before climate tech

"Does marketplace podcast is brought to you by the university of Florida Warrington college of business transform your future with an MBA from one of America's top ten universities. Learn more at Warrington dot ufl dot EDU slash MBA. And by the Michigan economic Development Corporation Evan. Lyle of rush enterprises is a big fan of Michigan as he put it the future mobility is going to be decided right here in this state. Visit planet dot com to find out why that's P L A N E T M dot com. The first step in adapting to climate change is information from American public media. This is marketplace tech demystifying the digital economy. I'm Ali would. This week. We're kicking off our new series. How we survive about the technology of adapting to a changing climate and the first step in adapting is understanding the scope of the problem that is a huge effort involving huge private companies like Microsoft and Google IBM plus startups doing climate risk modeling, but measuring information on the scale of the entire globe is really the job of for lunch. Nasa. Eucalypt supersonic. Earlier this month NASA launched its third orbiting carbon observatory or Osceola three it's a hundred million dollars worth of sensitive measurement instruments attached to the international space station. It monitors carbon dioxide on earth, and how that's impacting weather and climate patterns its tagline is watching the planet breathe and one measure of the planet's health plants and Marie L. During is the project scientist for Osceola three. So this has been important because plants pay a really big role in the natural carbon cycle, the uptake a lot of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere while they're growing, and it goes back in when the leaves fall off indicate so knowing how well the plants are doing their jobs is essential in trying to figure out what's happening with warming. And Osceola three just one part of NASA has annual one point nine billion dollar mission to focus on the earth mostly related to climate. The agency is studying water sea level, natural hazards, the carbon cycle and air, basically, the whole SHA. Bang. Jim graph is deputy director for earth. Science at NASA Jet Propulsion laboratories NASA has a critical role. It's not our role to make policy. It is our role though to provide that when you're making policy that data that you're using is accurate though. It's one thing to start collecting data. It's another thing to keep the machinery working instruments are up there for a long period of time and the instruments where out so we have to have the commitment to make sure that we can replace them with comparable or better instruments as they go forward and to get the best possible data the mission needs to run for years. A lot of what's happening on this earth is not a snapshot. We can't not understand the trends unless we're able to make the measurements over a long period of time back to Anne Marie L during and her plants she says right now when we try to make predictions thirty years out there are several diverging scenarios if plants continue to take up carbon dioxide humans or meeting. And kind of damp in the growth rate that'll end up with one scenario if the plants and the ocean, don't take up as much of the human emissions, our growth rates could increase and will reach a different point in twenty fifty than we would have otherwise. And in order to find that out we need sustained funding for NASA's earth missions and lots of other efforts are going to need money to not just public but also private so tomorrow on the show. We'll hear from investors who believed that adapting to climate change is both necessary for survival and good business. And now for some related links one of the big questions about climate intelligence is absolutely the role of artificial intelligence. If you episode you'll hear from Microsoft about its efforts to apply to modeling and understanding the scope of climate change, and there's a very timely story in the New York Times from Sunday about various artificial intelligence efforts that are being applied to climate adaptation and to recovery from extreme weather events. Also on our website marketplace, tech dot org. There's a link to a story about how in the UK the university of Sheffield help create a connected sewer control system. Look some add up. Tation tech is down and dirty people. That uses a I to detect and manage rising water during extreme weather and flooding, and then it can automate weekly open and close various gates to keep sewers from overflowing. The UK's national environmental agency said that country will have to spend a billion pounds a year on flood management. If it's going to avoid the worst effects of climate change, and that whole neighborhoods might have to relocate because of flooding that's gotten worse in recent years in other climate news this week Ireland became the second country in the world to declare a national climate emergency. Last week. The UK has done the same and New Zealand may follow in the UK that means reducing carbon emissions by eighty percent by twenty fifty. It's less clear what that means in Ireland. But getting back to our point about the money one assumes that funding should be involved. I'm Ali would. And that's marketplace tech. This is APN.

"As doctors Osceola would say, check, your local listings, and we're on Facebook live there. She is right there Robbins, is you see all the time you probably due to if you're watching orders when you walk into a room, people know, you and everything you walk into a room. Do people always get right onto the hoarders thing. Like doctors, you have to talk about hoarding, and it's like me when I was a sports guy. I could walk into a room. I think it'd be talking about whatever as soon as I would walk in. Hey, how about those giants last night? You know, we had to go right to sports. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I I'd say there's two things one is whenever hoarders is doing reruns. Or we have a new episode seems like wherever I go people recognize me, which is super cool because you know, I have to send a shout out to the listeners because it's because of the viewers and the listeners that keeps us going, right? That's our business is is we need you to watch. And so. So yeah, it's always nice. And you know, when you're out in public. It's always an honor to be recognized. Recognize you. Oh, yeah. I was in a place a few days ago and within about twenty minutes, I had three people walk up, and it was really cute because I was in the greedy Chris section. And there was this young man, he was a teenager. And he was sitting there looking at greeting cards and somebody walks up. It's like from hoarders, and he looks up and he looks down. And I'm like, yeah. Hi nice. And they want to take a picture of. Okay. And then somebody else walks up, and he looks up again. And he smiles, and it was really cute. Third person walks up. But you know, it's always good because it lets us know that people are watching and airports are the biggest fake know. Is going through airports a lot. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, again at the end of the day, I love this show, and what it's done to change lives. And I just hope that we can have many more years, and we're really blessed. I, you know, not a lot of shows we were docudrama not a lot of shows get ten seasons seasons, and we're really blessed graduations. And we're hoping for an a an eleven. We'll see what happens. So am I by the way? Yeah. So we're all the fans of the show way. So congratulations on that. And the other thing I want to say, even though I did mention it earlier is it I am honored that you who I watch your show all the time just for whatever reason listened to my show, and we are very blessed and honored for that as well. I still remember the first question you ever asked me, do you? Remember it was on this show. First time you ever called. I don't remember. Oh my gosh. That was like three years ago. Yup. I had stopped at a hamburger joint, which I. Yes. The hair. Oh my gosh. She's shaking her head over hair. And she's not Joan about this. And I don't go to fast food, very often. I really don't, but I had gone to fast food, I buy into it. And there's a hair that's about two feet long. And I'm telling the story in the phone rings and kennel goes, it's stockers Zassiadko from Dhaka's Ozzy doctors Osceola from hoarders, talk this Osceola..

What did you just tell me in the break somebody's? Well. No. I read the story. I again, a social media makes me crazy because I don't know. What's real? And I asked you to double check this. Yeah. I've double checked it. Jan Michael, Vincent. Who had a very lengthy career. He was on TV a lot and lot of movies several decades famous in the eighties for starring in air wolf died at the age of what was he seventy two something like that? We should know that probably seventy four seventy four. So the guy he's I can't believe he's seventy four time flies. But he was he was at one time. He was a teen idol almost like in the Donny Osmond. David Cassidy, Jan Michael Vincent galumph together. Sure. Here's where the story gets weird. He actually died on February the tenth. What that's what I'm reading after suffering cardiac arrest while a patient at a North Carolina hospital, according to the deciliter certificate. We're told no autopsy was performed and he was cream cremated. Now, why are we just now finding out about this? I don't know this is getting here we are on the March eight and it's a died on February the tenth. Wow. That is the opposite of what you expect in today's society. Exactly you expect to know within minutes air wolf was on CBS in the mid eighties. You watch air wolf. I remember the show. He was a guy character named Stringfellow Hawke. The pilot of the shows a highly advanced helicopter, which was part of the year. Wolf thing. The series is remembered for its action scenes and the conic eighties opening credits and theme song. Which I don't really remember. He also appeared in mechanic opposite Charles Bronson and the action thriller white line fever among many other productions apparently he's been struggling with drugs and alcohol would severely hindered his career. Particularly in the years after his version of air wolf left the airwaves, nineteen eighty six. Yeah. It says here that he also satellites lots of cocaine use. I guess it says that he almost died in two thousand and twelve he had to have his right leg amputated because of an infection. Sudden I don't know if this was. It's just weird that I mean again, he wasn't. He wasn't exactly rockstar status these days. But I mean, you know, he's well-known. Yeah. For sure I mean to have died on February the tenth and now just now we're finding out about this. Wow. Yeah. I didn't know that could still happen. I didn't either. That someone of any level of fame can have something like that pass away. We don't know for the families issuing nothing apparently a coke had. So why not? Last saturday. It's just one of those things where maybe the family just was like, okay. Right. Oh in completely different gear. News, President Trump. Also this morning talked a little bit about his relationship with North Korea saying that it remains good his relationship with Kim Jong UN play a little bit of that audio from this morning time will.
