"It's not a bad joke, but it did not land. Yes, time. But unless you had some kind of long-term relationship with Brian Kelly, which he does, and even then, it's a little questionable knowing the sensitivity of another first game loss with a new coach. Yeah, you can't be part of the story. I mean, you're told you're taught as a reporter, you can't be part of the story. That's all. About she apologized, said it wasn't one of her finest hours, but we'll see. Move forward. And maybe she shows up on time or early. Next time, yes. It is interesting though, too, that when you look at the way some people are talking about this, it's how arrogant is Brian Kelly. Oh. Because, oh, he's just his tone. We're like, well, they're both joking. They're both clearly joking, but how arrogant could he be to speak like that to the reporters? Oh, wow. Yeah. People are people like, there is anything right now that can go right for Brian Kelly. You're right. There isn't a single thing that he could say that he just wants to go get a Coke. And they'd be terrible. Yeah, you don't like Pepsi. What's wrong with Dr Pepper? I thought you were a college football coach. Ed orgeron, he used to drink Diet Coke. Speaking of coach Ho. I guess he was asked at the Little Rock touchdown club so that Little Rock touchdown club, they must be paying good money. They got John Gruden and then they got coach Ed orgeron. And was asked about getting fired at MSU. I'm so grateful of my time fellas you. That was my opportunity. Coach has got a shelf. Some coaches got 50 years, some coaches got 12. Might as well 6. Good. I gotta tell you. That a meeting. They coach. They do not go well. Rachel, can you see that brother? And there we go. Scott woolworth is a friend of mine that I really, really, a lot of respect for the way they handled me. So what's next? Well, I got to tell you there's a coach. You got $17.1 million on your contract. We're going to give it to you. I said, what time do you want me to leave? What do you want me to? Groot. More scotch. He's a great storyteller. When he was with us, he was last year, and he told some great stories. You're getting fired? But we're going to fire you. Here's another $17 million. See you later? Yeah. What a gig. What door? When do you want me to go? Remember you've told this story about recruiting Adrian Peterson? He was trying to get him to, his father's in prison in Oklahoma, and they want to get him at USC, then coach O was trying to get Adrian Peterson's dad transferred to a jail in LA.

"Years, even predating at orgeron's time in the sidelines. So what do they do? They go to the pro portal to bring in some talent and we'll get to some of those key contributors. But when you're looking at LSU offensively, it starts at the quarterback position. Miles Brennan returns from injury, a true pocket passer, the mercurial Jaden Daniels transfers in from Arizona state, the $100 million question. Can a guy like that improve upon his accuracy and decision making that was downright atrocious last season? There are some other options, but it appears that early walker Howard a 5 star quarterback of the future is going to be red shirt. It's so Garrett nussmeier would be the other guy. But this is an LSU team pain, ranked 13 out of 14 in the SEC in total rushing yards and yards per rush. And that includes a game where they ran up 300 rushing yards against Florida. Awfully scary when you look at this LSU team knowing the monster that they can become, but what are some realistic expectations for this team, especially offensively, and Brian Kelly's first trip to the south? Yeah, I mean, it's always tough gauging. Coaching when you have the best players in your own conference and Cincinnati had that in recent years, but it wasn't necessarily the case on the offensive side. So when I look at LSU's offense, it's going to come down to denbrock mixing some things up. I like him. I just want to see what it looks like. I know he didn't have the best weapons. They weren't outstanding by any stretch at Cincinnati. Some of the scheme stuff that he does. I do like he runs a lot of RPO concepts. He likes spreading out and attacking, which he did roughly 30% of the time last season, since he also has the ability to switch and play with heavy 12 and 13 personnel. I think the latter is a question mark for LSU this season because they might have to go for a wide more than den Brock's accustomed to because there really isn't a tight end on the roster. That's worthy of anything, let alone two. But there are a ton of receivers that LSU does have. Keyshawn boutte should be healthy. Didn't do a ton of spring but has the potential to be the second best receiver in the country. He's got speed. He's willing to go over the middle and play physical. But he has an ability to beat press coverage. If you look at Butte's freshman sophomore seasons, despite revolving doors at quarterback, whoever's thrown to bhuta when teams press him on the outside, one 35 passer rating for the quarterback throwing to him. He is a cheat code outside, hopefully. He stays healthy. That'll give Brian Kelly and den Brock some key cog to throw to and build the offensive around. Now, if Ella remade offensive line, that lost four starters can create some push. Denmark's probably going to stay balanced. You look at his last season, since he, 50 50, run pass and non garbage time situations, loves using pre stamp motion. He's shown an ability and a willingness to throw on first down. And last season when Cindy threw on first down, almost 50% of the time was with play action. We like all of these things from a den Brock system that we saw Cincinnati. There is a quarterback battle heading into spring to this point, my understanding is miles Brennan has the lead, but anything can happen during fall camp. As I mentioned, the L line is question marks, especially at center. And I wonder if less turmoil helps some things. It's not like LSU was great last season up front in the four guys they lose were first round draft picks. But the unit was outside the top 85 in line yards, opportunity rate, and saccharide aloud. Max Johnson was pressured on 35% of his drop backs and he only held onto the ball for 2.7 seconds. So it was a battle line that probably will improve just based on being a little bit more buttoned up and carrying a little bit more. It looks like you have a true freshman in bull Campbell, who enrolled early and was a top 40 player he's going to start day one at left tackle, probably a breath of fresh air for LSU faithful knowing their first 5 games last season had 5 different starting left tackles. LSU want to recruiting battle for four star trends for tackle miles Frasier to fix the left tackle position. But it appears he's going to kick inside now. You have tremond shorts transfers in as a high three star interior lineman from east Tennessee state. He looks like a starter as well. But again, the projected starting center is Charles Turner. He's played 200 snaps in three seasons of most of which were at tackle, and they were not good snaps. Your left tackle is a true freshman. You're two guards are moving up in class from FIU and east Tennessee to the NCC west and there's zero depth of attrition hits. That's kind of where you're at with the offensive line. I think the biggest dilemma for LSU's offense is the schedules and absolute nightmare. 5 defenses. LSU plays we project inside our top 20. Another 5 defenses project in our top 45. Southern and New Mexico state are the only two defenses on the schedule where LSU gets to punch down a little bit. The other ten defenses have a projected average efficiency rank of 24. So this is a welcome to the SEC Mike denbrock kind of thing here. Wait, they don't get to punch down in their season opener? Crickets. Crickets, crickets, stupidity doesn't elicit response. Stupidity is where I thrive pain. That is where I am in my own element. For LSU's offense, you mentioned it to receiving core clearly one to watch. A lot of flash and dash there. We'll see which quarterback wins the job. And if this team can be a little bit more balanced. Now, defensively, Matt house comes in, who's got a little bit of pedigree in his own right, health orchestrate the Kansas City Chiefs defense. At one point in his career, LSU pressured opposing quarterbacks on an SEC high 35% of dropbacks last season. So actually the 14th highest rate in the FBS, why was that so important? Because the Tiger's secondary ranked a 112th in the FBS and pass efficiency defense and drop backs in which

"When you look at this team defensively, Barry Odom, one of the best when it comes to coordinating on this side of the ball. And the defense are drink 5th in the SEC and yards per play in 6 and scoring has to replace a majority of its production. Need to replace a top defensive tackle, top defensive end, a pair of consistent guys at linebacker, the pass rush was slow, third, slowest in the nation, and pressure rate barely inside the top 100. And I think there could be some legitimate growing pains for an Arkansas defense that showed vulnerability for stretches last year, but overall it was a slightly above average unit. Barry Odom has proven to be a fantastic hire as well. Doesn't get enough credit for what his defenses can do. And most of the time it's been with lesser talent. Now, Arkansas barely inside the top 100 in returning defensive production, as you mentioned, you lose some veterans, but it really doesn't feel like a defense losing 8 starters. Just based upon the players that I see and what their production level was at prior stops or what it was. Shortened roles that will now expand D line has question marks specifically with the depth on the interior terrain Carter tore his knee late in spring and left Arkansas with only three scholarship defense tackles after spring they signed a body and transfer Terry Hampton from Arkansas state. Jordan Dominic transferred in from Georgia Tech to work on the edge, had a nice season in 2020 with a 13% pressure stop rate on all snaps. You do have land in Jackson a four star. Transfers. It feels like there's more talent, but we'll see what the production looks like as they all mesh into this new system. I like the linebacker room. You have bumper, drew Sanders, the former 5 star Alabama linebacker. He was outstanding in spring. I think the real strength of Arkansas defense is the secondary. And that's why there was more three two 6 used during spring ball. Lots of emphasis on Barry Odom being able to bring pressure from all directions with that scheme via the blitz, which was an area that he knew needed some improvement. Now in general, with that system, it's difficult to get pressure without blitzing. And we saw that last season you mentioned that Arkansas was bottom 15 among power 5 defenses and pressure rate. I look at some of the names back there in the secondary. Jalen Catalan has the talent to be a day two pick if he can regain his 2020 form. That would be massive. McLaughlin transfers in from LSU as a four star kit, was damn good in coverage last season. Latavius Britney was a guy I felt should be playing more for Kirby's march, Georgia defense. He was fantastic. He finally got 500 snaps last season with one of the best covered safeties in all of college football. Look, I mean, Arkansas one 9 games last season. Gave Alabama run for their money, lost at old miss by one in the final play. And Sam Pittman is a really likeable guy. It's a great story. But there's a reason the wind totals 6 and a half. Arkansas is going to need the ball to bounce its way. It's going to need some injury luck. It has to find capable receivers. And if those things happen, there are some toss up type games on the schedule to where they can run hot and variance ends up in their favor. But 6 of the 12 games have a point spread in either direction of a field goal or less based on our projections Todd. This feels like a team with just a ton of variance this season. It's a team that we've kind of stayed out of the way of. And really don't see a ton of value one way or the other, but it just feels like this has the makings to be either a really down season or one that might be a little bit higher than odds maker expectation, but again it's going to take a lot of health. It's going to take a lot of injury lock. It's going to take just the ball kind of going in their favor, which I'm not necessarily sure is going to happen. And life in the SEC is never easy, and it only gets more difficult when you're talking about two non conference games against Cincinnati, one of the best group of 5 programs out there. And a road trip to Provo, something that most SCC teams aren't willing to do, heading into a buy week in the middle of October. So we can only hope from an aesthetic standpoint in football watching that we get an early snowstorm, something I'm sure Arkansas football fans will not be in a hurry to watch when they have to go out to Utah. And then thick of things in conference play. Last sharp money on Cincinnati in that opening game as well. At all come in at 7 and a half, I know the market's pretty much in that 7 range now I want to say. Open 8 and a half. Okay. That makes sense and where it came in. And more than a touchdown, I think a lot of people are optimistic to Luke fickle team won't fall off nearly as much as people are led to believe with the potential, maybe even an upgrade a quarterback. Albeit down some experience with no Desmond Ritter on the roster. One of Arkansas's biggest rivals in the SEC west though, going through a transition period in its own right. And that, of course, would be LSU. With Brian Kelly taking over for Ed orgeron, the over under for the tigers this season 6 and a half minus a dollar 15 at FanDuel sportsbook should you like to go over? Hundred to one long shots to win the SEC. And when you're talking about LSU, they lost 74 stars a season ago due to injury, place them a 131st in all of college football. So injury luck clearly not smiling upon them in any capacity. And Brian Kelly was opening it on and said he wasn't going to tolerate players who had issues with failed drug tests, academics or punctuality seems to be par for the course for the way Ed orgeron ran the program down there in Baton Rouge and it's part of the reason that LSU has been a roller coaster of extreme highs and troubling lows for nearly two decades. Kelly entered the off season with zero returning production a cornerback and an offensive line that had shown inconsistency for years, even predating at orgeron's time in the sidelines. So what do they do? They go to the pro portal to bring in some talent and we'll get to some of those key contributors. But when you're looking at LSU offensively, it starts at the quarterback position. Miles Brennan returns from injury, a true pocket passer, the mercurial Jaden Daniels transfers in

"Well, spinning this forward Brody, you recently made the case that LSU's next head coach actually should be able to turn this program around pretty quickly. So why is that? Yeah, I think at the end of the day, three straight head coaches that LSU have won national championships. And that is not common at all. And quite frankly, the one thing that I think many coaches would argue makes all see one of the 5 best jobs in the country is that you are in a very talent rich state that I believe it's number one in the highest talent per capita. And you have no direct competition in state. You are the flagship school that should as long as you don't mess up. Land every single major player. Alabama have Alabama and auburn fighting, or Texas, you have 5 major schools competing. Florida same thing. Louisiana, yeah, sure bam is gonna win a few of them or whatever. But overall, you have that access. And then you look at the current roster, there is a lot a lot a lot of talent there. The kind of talent that people like me were saying, they should have won ten games this season. Their freshman and sophomore classes right now are really, really good. They're full of guys who ask freshmen and sophomores are breaking into stars from receiver K Shawn but who was going to be a belittle winner before he heard his ankle just last week. Or all American corner Eli Rick's or freak defensive tackle freshman mason Smith. There are so many guys here that coaches would be salivating to come coach. So I think this is a job that coaches will be very hard trying to fight for. And I think it's a job that very quickly can get back on track. There are things that absolutely need to be fixed. They're offensive line is in really deep years long damage. But overall, there is a really strong infrastructure here that this should be a top 20 team at next season. There have been a lot of rumors, of course, swirling about who that next head coach might be. What are you hearing? Of course. I think you have to start with the fact that Woodward the athletic director has a history of being maybe the biggest game hunter in college athletics. He's the guy who got Chris Peterson from Boise state to go to Washington when no one thought Peterson was ever going to leave Boise. Or he's the guy who got Jimbo Fisher to leave a national title team at Florida state to coach a Texas a and M and he is the guy who actually just recently got national title winning women's basketball coach Kim mokey to leave Baylor for LSU, which was shocking. You know, he is a big game hunter and I don't think that's gonna be different here. My colleague, Bruce Feldman reported. He's even gonna make dabo swinney at Clemson say no. You know, you're James Franklin's at Penn State. You're melt Tucker at Michigan state who has less success, but if somebody really quickly rising in the field who also has history with Nick Saban and history with Kirby smart, which helps anyone's case, you have to at least mention lane kiffin at all miss. He is somebody who gets thrown around quite a bit, and it would be a very juicy storyline although I don't know if it will happen. And then you go down the list though and there's guys who are still would be home runs to most people. You know, Billy Napier at Louisiana is a guy who has been one of the hottest up and coming names and coaching for three years now and has turned down multiple SEC jobs these last few years because he's kind of waiting for that perfect thing. So I think there are tears to this where he's gonna go for his biggest fish, but I think there are other plans there where it's, hey, this guy still would be a hot commodity. So I have a feeling they're gonna land someone pretty big name. It's still too early to tell who. And circling back to Ed O's Ron. What comes next for him? Does the nature of his ouster mean that he's unlikely to coach college football again or do you expect that he'll be back to coaching relatively soon? He has said that he's actually said twice this week already. He's Adam and he will take next year off. You will enjoy things. I'm not sure if you will look into television or something like that, but he will not be coaching next year. But after that, my gut tells me he will be coached again. The tricky thing I don't know the answer to is will he go be taking a head coaching job at, you know, a slightly smaller program, or will he go back to his roots for lack of a better word and go be the top lieutenant again at a major program? Because I'm sure a lot of teams would love to have him there. Well, I guess a $17 million golden parachute gives him some options. Absolute. "Coaches. He hired as his defensive coordinator who had a pretty good run as head coach at Nebraska. He was a really respected defensive mind, but it was not a sense admitted he did not even properly interview both cleaning and some other coaches for these jobs. I didn't even feel the last half. And I'm never doing that again. And this is a coach now running the one of the biggest defenses in the country who hadn't coached at the top tier in 6 or 7 years, and that higher turned out to quite frankly be disastrous. Robinson receiver near side and they'll hand it off. It's a huge home Rodriguez. Kentucky just gashing LSU in the run game. 21 yards. That defense seemed lost. There was at least one or two times a game where a receiver would be wide open because of just a miscommunication or a coverage bust where no one's covering them pretty simple. And yeah, it was the worst defense in LSU history by pretty much any margin. Well, Brody, you also wrote about a widening gap and some tension between the LSU players and Ed Eugene that reached a boiling point last year. Can you explain exactly what happened there? You know, he was doing a lot of PSAs during the pandemic about masks and all these things. Cover your golf with your elbow like this. Wash your hands thoroughly. A full 20 seconds. If you're sick, stay home. That led to him being on a lot of news channels and it led to him being on Fox News. Coach, thanks so much for coming on. You are right in the middle of this. The host asked him what he thought of a clip involving president Trump calling him and Nick Saban great people. What was your reaction to hearing the president in that new interview just now I know it was the first time you heard it? A little president Trump he treated us very well with The White House. I think he's doing a fantastic job. What happened is a roster full of primarily 18 to 22 year old young black man, heard that and heard a coach, their leader, saying that he loves a president who they perceived as having racist policies and not exactly seeing them as equal, and this is all happening, by the way, in the wake of George Floyd in the wake of so much protest happening in this country. Lincoln Riley marched with his Oklahoma team and Nick Saban a day later, marched with his Alabama team. And when else you did it, and it was Jean did not march with them. They all issue tigers were scheduled to practice Friday afternoon. That didn't happen, which was a big surprise to their head coach at auger. I was emotional when we found out we were practicing. They asked him to come march with them, and he initially did not. That did not help the situation. They marched to the president's office, and they spoke with the president for a short time. And when eventually he did go and meet them, they had a long meeting in the president's office and I would just say most sources in that room actually did not feel better about that meeting. They actually maybe felt more frustrated about that meeting. That's what I told. I need to know more about it. I mean, I don't go through the same things that they go through. I don't have the same feeling that they have. They face different things that I heard about them. I never knew before. That week in the program, really led to Azure on losing a large part of that locker room. He did eventually march a week later in another march with them. But the damage was quite frankly done. And then there's been a huge push across the entire university this last year to then get more diverse in their staff. So it was a push to get a staff that better connects to the players. And I think there were improvements made in that department, but I think the program as a whole was kind of too far gone and they weren't able to fix some of the problems. Well, that brings us to the last and possibly most damning things that led to edouard's downfall. It's what you wrote he called a, quote, massive title 9 scandal. And the newly single run's interactions with women. So can you break those two things down for us? First you start with the fact that LSU had several major players in their program be accused of horrific crime starting with star running back Darius geis, who kind of was Ed O geron's beloved figure who helped him get this head coaching job. Well, he was accused of rape by several women in horrific fashion and basically taunting them in the months and years after to try to keep them quiet. It was a foundational thing that led to an internal investigation through an outside law firm, when they report first came out, it seemed like, hey, Shawn doesn't look great here, but he is not necessarily the person being named. But then a woman named Gloria Scott came forward shortly after, and she was a woman who in the report alleges that at a high school game at the Superdome, she was a security worker in Darius came to basically came in sexually harassed her. The room was silent a 74 year old Gloria Scott told her story. He stands in front of me, and he said, oh, I like him like that like you. I said what? He said, yes, he said, I like having sex with older women like you. Scott's story shook lawmakers who were visibly shaken by what they had just heard. And basically she said she called LSU spoke to augeron and he did nothing about it. Now hoja denies that he spoke with her and I don't know if we'll ever get a perfect answer about what happened there. But that led to ojo now being implicated. And then you have a lawsuit against overdrawn right now. Ashlyn Robertson says she was raped by an LSU football player and that her boyfriend notified coach O's are on about the assault. According to the court records, augeron responded by telling Robertson's boyfriend to not be upset because, quote, everybody's girlfriend sleeps with other people. The suit goes on to climb, never reported the rape to title 9. Their office or any other entity at LSU. And again, he denies that and also the hush Blackwell report found that his denial was credible. He wasn't somebody who was proved to be in the wrong yet, but his name was attached to in that led to a messiness. And then you get to his personal things, and I hate to loop them together because they're not exactly the same thing, but it's still just the reality. Is that as we said earlier, Edo Jean, the height of his power and profession and the top of the world in Louisiana, he gets divorced to his wife of 23 years Kelly. And at ozer on then for the next two years, basically, enjoyed being a single man. And there were stories constantly around town of him, you know, pictures of him with women and bad, and all these things, and him always with a different girl. And there are stories of him bringing girls to the LSU football operations building. And there are stories of him hitting on an important LSU person's wife, and then that getting to the board and that leading to more anger. There was no smoking gun issue, but it was a constant black eye, I guess around things that these rumors kept circling, and all of a sudden Edo Jean's benefit the doubt, all that capital he had in 2020 was just wearing away. Well, Brody LSU, athletic director, Scott word, held a press conference on Sunday, as we mentioned, where he announced that at ojai would not be coming back to coach next season. Could you quickly walk us through that press conference? And what jumped out at you? Scott Woodward the athletic director, you know, he led this off by saying, at aujon is a friend. I want you to know at Osiris a friend. We're both Louisiana gas through and through. We both deeply care about this football program. And I will always be grateful for kojo's wrong. But he repeated several times, and so did the nose you're on. This is about wins and losses. I was the thing repeated over and over again that there is a standard at LSU. And if you don't reach it, we are not going to stand for it. We expect to compete for SEC and national championships year in and year out. We are proud of that standard and will always work to uphold it. I think what jumped out to me was there was a little bit of a weight lifted off that ocean or at least it seemed like it. And great, I think you said weeks to come to terms with this. I have no regrets. Not one day I was not going to have a bad day. I'm not going to Blake. I'll tell you guys that. You know, the circumstances that we haven't won enough games in the last two years, I totally get it. And as long as he's getting 17 million, he's not going to make things too difficult. So I think there's an element of this is in good faith. This is we are going to look back on you as the guy who won the title and try to keep.

"It's not crazy. And one of the reasons why, is you look at the field and Georgia is just killing people, you know, they average 8.9 yards per play against Kentucky yesterday. It's not just the defense. But the thing with winning a national title is, once you get to that championship game, you're going to play somebody really good and I think to this point, Georgia, Georgia's defense is dominating, but they're not playing offenses like Oklahoma's. And part of that is there aren't that many offenses like that this year. You know, maybe Ohio State is so drew, I could see Georgia rolling all the way to the national championship game and then they got to play an offense like Oklahoma's. Yeah, it's definitely possible. Now I say that. And there's another undefeated team in their own state that they have to play Oklahoma state who I thought came back and won that Texas game and very impressive fashion. They have a good defense. When you thought Oklahoma was going to have Oklahoma state has it. Yeah, Jim Owens quietly has done a former duca system has done a terrific job. We had he should be at royals list broils award final. Should. Bob stoops and our pregame show did a really good breakdown of that four two 5 and what makes it so effective? And I think you know what? More people should be talking about what he's doing bedlam could be the biggest that's been in, I don't know when. I mean, I've done a bunch of battle games that felt kind of big going. And then they may have to turn around play again. Yeah. Yeah, I know. I mean, a lot to look forward to in the big 12. Let's finish up with this. The late game last night, Arizona state Utah, I feel like our perception of the PAC 12 changes every week. First it was Oregon's going to run away with it. Then Oregon loses to Stanford and here comes a issue. A UCLA was in there at some point. Usually, by the way, hosting game day this week when they play organ, that's a surprise. But Utah started out pretty rough lost to BYU and San Diego state. They made a change at quarterback to camera rising. Then they had this awful tragedy, Aaron Lowe, murdered. And I think that happened during they had an off week anyway. And since then, they've come back, and now they scored 28 unanswered 35 unanswered against the issue last night. And they're alone in first in the south now. Yeah, it's pretty wild. I mean, look, I had written covey on this PAC 12 network weekly piece I do and Britain coverage the receiver. He's a remarkable personality, just in terms of just the most upbeat person you're ever going to be around. And we talked a lot about the roller coaster ride, that program has gone with the tragedies, tied Jordan and now, you know, from a late last month. And then they get a nice bounce back when at USC through it all. And then you knew that place is going to be rocking last night. I mean, it's a really loud, fun place to be at for a game. And they really took it to Arizona state. Kyle winningham. You know, we both, I think, have a ton of respect for him and what he's done there. It was it was really, yeah. It's a story that I think people are going to be talking a lot more about just because of the heartbreak that that program has been through and how those players I want to say those kids, but they're mature, they're mature. And I think they showed the resilience and it's hats off to all those guys that Utah for what they've been able to do. And we gave them a shout out at the end of last weeks for beating USC, but now it's not just like, oh, they got a nice win. They could win this division, and maybe even in the conference if you watched the cow game Friday night Oregon needed a last second stop to keep from having to go to overtime against a one in 5 team. Kayvon thibodeau is out there wrecking people, and yet they still, their offense is just so average now without CJ verdell and with Anthony Brown, just kind of doing the bare minimum. So I think, you know, I know there's probably some people listening now going who cares? They're not gonna send a team to play off. Look, we're both out here on the West Coast. We still find PAC 12 football to be pretty compelling, whether anybody else cares or not. And I'm fascinated to see how the second half of the season plays out, especially like you said with what could turn out to just be an absolutely remarkable story with Utah. Yeah. It's going to be a crazy, crazy run in the pact 12, because it always is. So, as always, we look forward to your questions. You can send them to the audible pod at Gmail dot com. And we'll see you later.

"Had petered out. I also thought another interesting result in the Big Ten unlike a all kind of off down off the radar game was we talk about Nebraska and Scott frost a bunch. That's a bad loss. I mean, you lose to a Minnesota team that a few weeks ago lost to Bowling Green and also was down there. They're starting their top two running back. And, you know, here we are with Nebraska. I remember I did my hot seat update last week and had a bunch of Nebraska fans going no way. They are he shouldn't be on the hot. He shouldn't be even mentioned here because the AD and the president are firmly behind him. They've turned the corner. They're playing more competitive. And I agreed with all that, the thing my hesitance was all it's going to take is one dud performance in one of these other games that's not against Iowa or Ohio State, which I have still left. And sure enough there was one. I don't know if Adrian Martinez was fully healthy. He was fine passing the ball, but we did not see him really do a lot of damage running the ball. And here we are with Scott frost. I mean, just as an outsider, looking in, you know, neither one of us has been Lincoln. How confident do you feel like Scott Ross is going to get another year after? I don't think that person there are the people you're hearing from are wrong. I think that works really, really, really wants to avoid having to make coaching change. And there was a lot of optimism coming off that Michigan game, even though it was a loss, but now there are three and 5. Somehow Nebraska has already played two thirds of their schedule. The week that we're doing the midseason the mid season awards. And yeah, like you say, sort of play a house. I mean, I don't know that any game on that schedule you look at and go yeah, you know, he's definitely gonna win that game. Obviously Purdue better than we thought they were going to be. Wisconsin still seemed they had took all they could to beat army. Iowa, and then, you know, I don't know. I mean, I find it hard to believe that they're going to finish better than 6 and 6. And even that would require quite a strong finish. So if he is 5 and 7 and he's been there four years and he's had a losing record all four years, come on. I know it's a $20 million buyout, but you can't continue with that. By the way, we had kind of forgotten about Purdue. You know, Jeff Brom after that big win over Ohio State after that 2018 season after he got Purdue had to really give him a huge raise because he was everybody assumed he was going to go to the Louisville when they fired petrino back to his hometown. They're such that family is such an institution there. And it was really surprising when he opted to stay at Purdue. And then they just kind of fell off the map and hadn't really done anything in the last couple of years. In hindsight that went over Oregon state was better than we thought. They hung with Notre-Dame and now after winning this game, they are basically tied for first. I think they're half game behind Iowa. Yeah, I think that looks it's kind of a wacky wacky division right now, especially as we said, Iowa kind of sputtering a little bit. Turning the page to Oklahoma and Caleb Williams who followed up his Red River outperformance with just a monstrous game against TCU. I thought it was interesting that immediately after that or maybe even during the game, all the Vegas books reset their Heisman odds and Caleb Williams is now 7th. Now has the 7th best Heisman aunt, he didn't even play until last week. He keeps this up. Would you be comfortable voting for a Heisman winner who missed the first 5 ish games of the season? Depends on what the rest of the Heisman field looks like. To me, Bryce young is there. I think bee Jean Robinson terrific. But this does not feel right now. Like a very top heavy Heisman field. Every time you think somebody's going to step up, I mean, Kenneth walker didn't have a great game against Indiana. Dijon Robinson's had two great first halfs the fast two weeks and then gotten shut down in a second. People are starting to talk themselves into I feel like Kenny Pickett from Pitt because they're went in a bunch of games, but I feel like there's still a there's still going to be some skepticism there before that campaign takes flight. I don't know if. But why does it have to be a quarterback? You know, I feel like yeah, I mean, if I know, I feel like every couple of years it's like if ever there was a year for a default when Chase young, but yeah, Jordan Davis will Anderson came on thibodeau. There are some very, very good defensive players this year. And rather than just kind of talk yourself into I mean, I don't think Kenny Pickett's going to be in the mix at the end. But don't default to the Alabama quarterback. Now Caleb Williams could he could turn out to have like a Kyler Murray kind of finished to a season, but I still think there are going to be a lot of players out there who had outstanding full seasons. I'm not writing off Kenneth walker yet, even though he didn't have a hundred yards against Indiana. He's still the leading Russia in the country. Yeah. I don't think I would do it never say never, but it just doesn't seem like it would be fair to any number of outstanding players, even if they're not quarterbacks who did play the full season and had outstanding seasons the whole way. So is he a disqualifier for you? No, like I said, I'm not going to disqualify anybody. I like to see how the season plays out. I just think it would take a pretty pretty extraordinary circumstances. Now, one of those extraordinary circumstances might be if Oklahoma who up until last week, we thought was really shaky and living on borrowed time goes 13 NO. And that is starting to feel like a possibility. Now, I will say in the TCU game, they look like an Oklahoma team. There's this quarter 52 points, they're explosive. But their defense struggled, especially defending the receiver. And it was kind of like, oh, okay. This is like a vintage Lincoln Riley team. They're back to having to outscore people. Oh, I totally agree with you. It's makes for an interesting second half. I mean, you already said, I don't get credit for saying that offense was going to break out. And yeah, yeah. The Spencer shots on the sideline, like the whole thing of it's just he did not look like a happy camp. No, and you have people are going to throw the NI L stuff in his face and, you know, look. I mean, it's all it's all very, that's a complicated, but it's just like it feels like a lot of ways that you have such extremes going on with this. And I'm interested to see how it goes on, you know, it's been two weeks. He's definitely a super talented quarterback. And there's good pieces around him and you know I'm fascinated to see how this plays out. I mean, is this the year Oklahoma actually can win a national title? I was just going to ask you that because we talked about that in the off season. We were both on the first of all, we were under the assumption Spencer hour, be the quarterback. But we were also feeling like Alex French, you know, has been building toward this and that they're going to actually have a decent defense. And because of that, would this be the year that they actually get in and win a playoff game and maybe even the national championship? And I gotta say,.

"We had breaking news to address so much so that we had to scrap our original podcast intro and start over. So at augeron, the LSU coach who won the national title in 2019, even after his big win over Florida yesterday is out. The school and over on have reached separation agreement. Bruce from your understanding, he will still coach the rest of this season, but he's done after that. Correct. This had been going on for a little bit. You know, because at one point, I know, remember saying if you win the next two games, does that change it? And he was like, I think they've already made their decision essentially. And so when they beat Florida, even with like half a team, I don't think that that wasn't changing anything. You know, like it was just a matter of when does this get when does this get finalized in terms of the contract and everything and this isn't like a cause thing they're going to have to pay them a lot of money to go away. And I think the key things here is basically at ozone. It was not the guy that the new AED or else of a new ID Scott Woodward had hired. He's not the one, you know, he was there before. So it's crazy in this regard. It's 21 months from the time he wins a national title. And Scott Woodward and the new president, they want somebody else in there. So we'll see who they who they end up hiring. But it was just kind of the whole thing was a little bizarre in the regard of, you know, it's just it's kind of unprecedented in disregard because people can said this before. People don't talk about the genetic comparison, but it's really not the same thing, just because chiswick had the one year and I think that in this case, Scott Woodward has made some splashy hires. I mean, you got Chris Peterson when he was at Washington, he got Jimbo and he was at a.m., and now obviously the bar is going to be sky high, because not only do you have to win a national title like you better not have an off year after the national title or else they will fire you. Yeah, it's very NFL like it's very what have you done for me lately now. I think that he there was an appearance of instability because he hired Oklahoma last year and it blew up in his face spectacularly. You know, he changes out both sides of the ball this year with young unproven coordinators. And they start three and three. And with a bad loss of Kentucky. And I think people just felt like, you know, the national title season, he got hailed for that higher of Joe Brady. Obviously he brought in Joe burrow, it wasn't like schools were beating down their door to bring in Joe burrow, like he did everything right for that season. And they had a remarkable season. One of the best in the history of the sport. And then it just seemed like after that, he couldn't make a right decision. Now, I do think that if this had come out a week ago, everybody would be like, yeah, makes sense. They just beat Florida, 49 42. They're running game that was so dormant before took off. I'm not saying one game changes the whole course of your program by any means. But it's just weird timing to have this come out now. He gets to go on a victory tour. I think this is, I mean, the story of the 12 him after the 2019 season was kind of a feel good story of a guy who is born and Brad, Louisiana, when you think Louisiana, you think coach O having this big redemption and then less than two years later, he's out. This leads to the obvious question who does LSU go after now? That's a good question. I mean, I reported on our big news show Saturday morning that from my sources that there is a lot of interest from some influential people inside LSU who are really high on pucker from Michigan state. I'll Tucker was a Nick Saban assistant. He worked there. In the early 2000s, he knows the SEC well and not just from his time at all issue, but then obviously he coached an Alabama and coached his Kirby smarts defensive coordinator. He's done a really nice job at Michigan state. But he's only in year two there. There are 7 O, the interesting part of this is I don't know if Mel Tucker would make that move. Because remember, it was like, it was pretty awkward for him to make the move out of Colorado after one year to go to Michigan state. Boy, it is going to absolutely just crush Michigan state fans if they lose another coach to LSU. Michigan state is 7 O, they will be 7, and going into the Michigan game on October 30th. This is quite a high that the program is on right now. And so I can see it either way. I could see him being loyal to Michigan state. You know, given the timing, or I could see him being like, you know, I don't know if I can win an ash. I can have a lot of success here. I don't know if I can ever win a national title here. The last three LSU coaches have all won national titles. The last two of those have now been fired, which tells you how cutthroat it is. It's kind of like the way people view auburn is really more LSU now. But, you know, we did that you guys did that best best job survey. You surveyed a bunch of coaches around the country about a month ago. What are the top 5 jobs in college football and LSU is one of them. So they should have their pick of the litter. The kind of crazy thing you mentioned in the last miles getting fired, that actually happened though about almost ten years after he won the national title. If you look at what he did the next two years, I want to say, he should have been fired for that reason after, but he had a 500 record in the SEC the next two seasons after winning the national title. I didn't realize that until looking back at it, this morning. But then he ended up a couple years after having the 500 record. There were 8 no and played for the national title against Alabama. It's just, hey, it is a expectations are sky high, especially when the expectations are. You got to deal with Nick Saban. I mean, there's nobody else in terms of when that's in your division. That makes it that much harder. And I'm interested to see how who they get from here. If you don't get Jimbo Fisher, who obviously had worked at LSU on save and staff. And it's going to take a lot to get them, because he's paid a full fortune. I have no idea where.

Scott Woodward LSU Joe burrow augeron Michigan Florida Joe Brady Chris Peterson Jimbo Louisiana Bruce Mel Tucker Nick Saban NFL Oklahoma Kentucky Washington SEC Brad Tucker

"If we judge at or drawn too much yet based on week one, and also I think that you see l A team might be better than people are giving it credit for, and now it looks like they might be very competitive in a Pac 12 that suddenly looks like maybe not as strong as we once thought. And so I do wonder if this week one loss ends up for Alice. You not looking quite so bad throughout the season. Maybe there Ready to get back on track. And maybe some of those off the field things and being displaced this week and dealing with the hurricane issues that maybe, you know, it has more of an effect than we're giving it credit for, you know, else you losing That game isn't the end of the world. I think it's the manner in which they lost. That's most alarming because else you got out. Ls you'd by U. C L A When do you ever say that? That a team like U. You has always hung its hat on the fact that even if they're going to lose, they are going to beat you up in the process. They're going to be Joe Frazier to your Muhammad Ali. You might come away winning one of those fights, but you are going to feel awful and end up in the hospital bed as a result. That's not what happened to you See, La LA pummeled else you in that game, you see, it was more physical on both sides of the ball every first down else you got. They had to fight tooth and nail for and they paid a price for it. And that is a problem for Ed Orgeron because he's not going to be the type of guy that has superior game management skills. He's not going to be the guy. Who has the superior ex's and Oh's against some of the elite coaches in college football, But he is going to be the guy that has a stacked roster motivated, hungry and physical. And when you're getting out physical by U C L A. That's got to be a problem because the Bruins were laying the wood in that game from start to finish, and ultimately, they didn't just win. And they ran all over them unless you just didn't have an answer for a lot of what you clock was doing. And else you should be the more talented team. That should be the advantage that Orgeron has there in a matchup against a use clock. It does not look good in week one. I would just tempered by saying, okay, it is week one. "How are you? Thanks, Sean. Happy Labor Day Weekend view. I'm doing well. Yeah, yeah. No, it was. It was a fun weekend. We still got a couple more games to go, I guess, Um, let me start with last night's game between U. C. L A and LSU. How much time do you think and wars run? Gets from that, like, what kind of what? What's the length of his rope that he gets because of winning that national title in 2019. Well, you get a bit of rope, but I would say is used a bit of rope. You know, l s u is not a school that tolerate any extended period of mediocrity, Which is what else you Gave them in 2020 and even such a weird season than it was, and I think it's So it's even less than what else you are even more than what else you provided last night. I think calling that mediocre would be almost too much of a compliment. Too generous to add origin, so I don't know exactly what the administration in Dallas he was thinking, but I don't think that it is. We are happy with this and we are okay with the current trajectory. Yeah. I mean, I feel like the winter out of that whole thing might be Joe Brady and Joe Burrow like were they that big an outlaw where they such outliers that they were able to to carry Edward Garon to a national championship back in 2019. Think Ed Orgeron deserves a lot of credit for that national championship because Joe Brady and Joe Burrow wouldn't have been there without at Orgeron, and I think that it's important to keep sight of that. But Yes, it certainly does look like ls use offense was not, you know it was not replicable. Once. Joe Burrow moved on. Once Joe Brady moved on. And once Jamaar Chase and Jordan Jefferson moved on, and That s Moss and a number of offensive lineman. I mean, it was really special offense. Top to bottom, and no, they have not really. Given much of a look at repeating that in the last One year and one game. Alex Kirshner split zone, Do a podcast talking college football with me on CBS Sports Radio Alex on the other side of that game. Is Chip Kelly. Finally back. Is this U C l A team? Is this a team that That can maybe sneak in and take a Pac 12 that might be there for the taking in 2021. Maybe I don't know exactly what the standard is for us to declare Chip Kelly back, but he did look like he really built a smart offensive game plan last night. Uh, you feel I did a few things, particularly with its run game that looked old Chip Kelly or again early early. Philadelphia Eagles ask and Ls you did not want answers for it. I think the U C l a a lot more physical than they've been the first couple years of his 10 years. So I didn't There's reason to be pretty optimistic about UC la You know whether Chip Kelly is back or not? Playing at a much higher level than they have played in. Sometimes I think I'd be optimistic right now, if I were you, Seeley person. Okay, So the other big game last night. Obviously, that all eyes were on was Clemson and Georgia and thing turned out to be a street fight. 10 to 3 Final score. Um, what's the takeaway offensively for both of these teams? I mean, you know, they both got big name quarterbacks, but neither the quarterbacks could generate any touchdowns. Step for you, Angela Lee for the other team. Um what's the big takeaway? Is this these two teams that are that are going to be taking steps backwards. Offensively. This year was this just to really good defense is out there in a game that had a Sort of a defensive culture to it last night. I think in Clemson's case, yes, they're probably taking a step backwards. Offensively. That happens when you have Trevor Lawrence. And then all of a sudden you don't have Trevor Lawrence anymore. I think that Clemson has real offensive line problems and Georgia Exposed that much the same way frankly, that Ohio State exposed it in the playoffs semifinal last year. I think Clemson has always sort of gotten by as an elite team in college football. Without having the same offensive line factory that some of its appears at that top level of had, And you know, it perhaps shouldn't be surprising that that doesn't last forever and that Georgia had a pretty easy time with Clemens wine, I think, in George's case Don't know if they're taking a step back offensively, but I don't know if that's the issue. I think the issue is that Georgia needs to take steps forward offensively, and we didn't see any hints of that last night. I think to be fair to Georgia. We've got a number of injuries and a number of absences that are not injury related. Uh, most notably George Pickens, who's their best receiver, and Derek Gilbert, who was a kind of tight end receiver hybrid, his wife for personal reasons. Should be really important parts of that offense, and they just weren't there. So getting those players back If they can would probably be a pretty big help. If you can't then you've got to figure something out, and it did not look like they had figured that out last night. No and back to Clemson for a second. Look, if you're going to lose I suppose Alex. It's best to lose in week one to another Top five team, You know that's about that's about as recoverable scenarios you can come up with, except for the fact that at least one weekend of the season the A. C C. You know, there are other teams that they had in the top 15 both lost in North Carolina. And obviously Miami. Getting blown out by Alabama is there enough left on this schedule here? It's found sounds weird to say this about Clemson. But is there enough on this schedule here to where they can feel confident that if they run the table and win the that they'll get there, they'll get the bid that they usually expect to get each year into the postseason. Think it all depends on what happens elsewhere at the top of college football, But I do think it's worth noting that there's only been one team in the six or seven year history. Now, the playoff that has won a power five conference and had one loss or fewer. And not made it And that was 2018, Ohio State, historically. Pretty good recipe for making the playoffs is to lose one game or less than being a power Five conference that Ohio State team has missed out had gotten destroyed by a average Purdue team, and I think that's a much less forgivable lost. And what Clemson had against Georgia. So I do not think that Clemson is necessarily out. I think that if Clemson runs the table, it's likelier than not that they'd be in. But you know the The unfortunate thing for them is that There could be a scenario where that's not true..

Trevor Lawrence Joe Brady Angela Lee Joe Burrow Chip Kelly George Derek Gilbert George Pickens Jordan Jefferson Ed Orgeron Sean 2019 Edward Garon 2020 Dallas 2021 Alex Kirshner 10 years LSU North Carolina

"It is what it is, by the way. Clay Helton is sixth. On the all time Pac 12 list winning percentage. Clay Helton. He's the think about USC coach to ever have to 10 win seasons in a row. Yeah, like his first two years, So yeah. Here. The other the other ones on that list in order number one Alzheimer's Pete Carroll. Pretty good success. Henry Sanders. He was a la right John McKay, USC legend. Our own. Andy Smith, speaking of legendary and again the name of pop Warner. I know him. I went to school. I went to Pop Warner women, two different schools together. Yeah. Um, so five of the top nine in the Pac 12 list are from USC. Not that surprising, but the fact that Clay Helton's number six is on there. These are there. Yeah. All right. We got a game in a couple of games in progress. You got us. CRS should say Oregon state. In West Lafayette, taking on Purdue and produce leading that ballgame 13 to 7 in the third quarter, the quarterback for Oregon State Is Sam Neuer. Sam Neuer was the quarterback at Colorado. He's in Oregon. E went to Colorado played safety and his first team, especially they didn't play and then was second team All league last year as a quarterback and transfers out, Yeah. Two Oregon State, So they're down by six late in the third quarter in Seattle, the Huskies taking on Montana. The Huskies offense hasn't shown up yet. They scored early 7 to 3 at the half right now, so Jimmy Lake As first of all, he's not lost The game as head coach at Washington is four and oh, And he's not played a game that was not contested at Husky Stadium. They played all four their games last year, that Husky State at Husky Stadium Now once again, and once again they do it again. So interesting for Jimmy Lake and Huskies. You see LA And LSU. It's the big one. As far as the Pac 12 is concerned. Non CONFERENCE game today 77 u. C. L A and LSU. A lot of people thought. Well, you say they beat Hawaii last week. Hawaii. Not that good under Todd Graham. But LSU would be the real test. Well, so far. The strength of that U C. L A team has been their defense. I mean, they got all after last week, and they're playing pretty well again today. They looked good last week in that opener against Hawaii there, you know, I got nice running back to in chardonnay like that Dude can roll from Michigan Transfer comes in. He is a very good running back so I'm pretty impressed with useless so far this game will It'll show you where they're at athletically. LSD was awful in their first game last year, they lost the Mississippi State. I don't know how if Ed Orgeron gets that team going early if he doesn't have that national championship caliber team, right, so We'll see. They travel out here. I don't know what this is going to tell us about your cell. Except they can go ahead to have with a big opponent. I'll say this kind of overall Pac 12 view for me from what I've seen in the first week. Jaden Daniels is for real. This year, My jury was out on Jane Daniels because he was he was not a great decision maker. That first game wasn't a great opponent. But his decision making was very, very good. He was crisp. He looked very clean. Based on what's going on Arizona State. I'm guessing this is going to be his last year in the conference, so enjoying while he's here. Because there's going to be some issues going on down there after the season's over. He is really good. UCL has a running back and a defensive line. That means is going to be very good this year so they can be something SC. Jury's out right there pick to win this whole thing because here's Alabama goes and beats Miami 44 to 7, I think today That's what a team who is in that national championship picture does Good opponent. Bad opponent doesn't matter S C win 32 7, but they didn't do it very impressively, Oregon Barely squeaks went out past Fresno ST. Fresno State's good Are they better than Miami? I don't think so. And Oregon very barely gets past Fresno State is the Pac 12 ready to compete the national level? Don't know. Right now. Alabama is the epitome of what you do in your first game. If you're playing an opponent that shouldn't be on the field with you, right. The Pac 12 hasn't done that. And so that's my take on the Pac 12 right now. I'm really interested in seeing what cow does here today. They got a good opponent. Think it's an opponent they can handle, but I'm really interested in seeing what happens tonight. A couple of all games later on tonight, BYU and Arizona going at a jet fish his first game as head coach of the Wildcats, he's already brought in 17. FBS transfers to upgrade that depleted roster and Washington state posting. Utah ST Nick Rolovich has made more news. With the vaccine. No vaccine. Am I taking it? Am I going to say anything about it? I mean, that's become a national story now what he's doing because it's mandated at all. State of Washington. I believe employees, certainly Washington.

"They've got a pretty good defense in Jacksonville, so I think they got a chance to win some games. I don't know if they're going to set the world on fire, but in two or three years It's a five year run for urban, you know. Can he do it in five years? Can you go win a championship? He doesn't have forever to do this. You think Tebow will make that roster? Don't I liked him? I love his family. I don't know if he can make the roster because he's undersized, You know, he had to be an absolute beast and special teams and play some fullback H back motion guy short yardage goal line, maybe a little of what Taysom Hill does in New Orleans. I don't think he's a bona fide tight end. The guys are 6667 to 50. In the league, and so he looks like he looks small on the field compared to them If you've seen some of the pictures taken out on the practice field, I think he's got the heart of a lion. I love him, but I don't know if he's a tight end in the NFL, and that's going to be. I think it would be very hard for him to make a team because he's going to be undersized when it comes to blocking and getting in there in the interior and doing something with it, you know, with his feet moving people around If teammates realized he shouldn't make the team, but because he's an urban guy, and they want him there for the camaraderie and the locker room culture or their neighbors, their neighbors at Jacksonville. Could that be actually a problem in Jacksonville? If they put him on the team, and he doesn't deserve to make the I think so. I think an urban knows that an urban said, I'm gonna bring him in. Treat him like everybody else. I'm a given. Give him an opportunity, and everybody knows he's a great locker room guy. But if he doesn't help the team, you can't be on the team and no one in the NFL. It can help. The team is on a team. You know, there's only a certain amount of roster spots, and those are precious roster spots. You're taking gifted players and sending them home or putting them on practice squad when you could be playing them or having a chance for them to play, So I think he's going to have to be able to contribute in in spring and camp and in pre season for him to be able to solidify a spot. I don't think urban's is going to hand it to him. I really don't Josh Booty in studio with us, all right. So last year, we had Mac Jones on the show. And at the time you had Nick Saban playing those games where they didn't name Mac the starter yet we all thought Mack was going to be the starter. But there was this talk about Bryce Young. What have you been hearing about Bryce Young, because it now seems like Alabama. You never really felt great about their quarterback. It was all the talent around them. You have tour. Jalen hurts there. Now. We just saw that Mac Jones able to do And it seems like Bryce Young. It would be the real deal. Yeah, they're getting better and better in the spread. You know when saving decided to go to the spread He sold out to it. You know, Sarkeesian did a great job of calling plays last year and they let the world lit the world on fire. Great Run game. Great balance. Great receivers. Great tight end play. And then you add a guy like Bryce Young, who can beat you with his feet, too, and make plays on the outside. He's like Russell Wilson. I've known Bryce since he was 15 years old, Like I've watched him at modern day. I know Bruce Robison, his high school football goes, He played against my nephew, who was at J. Sarah and the Trinity League out there in Southern California. Bryce Young is an exceptional player. He's small, he's undersized, but he finds lanes because he's so quick with his feet right. He's more lateral quickness than he is like. 4443. He's not the mic fixed speed, but he can get out of jams really easily. And it's like like Russell Wilson, because, uh, you know, Russell's not tall, He's six ft. Maybe 5 11. We don't know. But You know, he moves around well enough and throws the ball accurate. He's got a quick release. I just like him. He played. He played some of the biggest games last year. You know he would come in and spell Mack at the end of games against SCC teams, and he played well and he had an unbelievable spring. I watched the entire spring game. I'm going to Alabama tomorrow. You know, I'm really close to the to the guys there around the university, and they absolutely love this kid and he's going to set it said it, You know, set the world on fire there, too. And I don't don't see if you're the quarterback. Who in the world wouldn't want to be the quarterback in Alabama, You know, I think my mom could go down there. You're the You're the man. But you're driving a Rolls Royce with all those players around you and you got a defense and you got saving and you work harder than everybody else. You're bigger, faster, stronger than everybody else. You're always favored. It's a dream come true. And I think Brian's going to take advantage of it. And that players actually may be able to get endorsement deals for Rolls Royce is Rice Will be Megan tomorrow? Yeah. What are your thoughts, Josh Booty in the whole name image like this. I think it's a positive. Are there any gonna be any problems here? The CW is gonna have the only thing that we've talked about just buddies and are my brothers is you know the quarterbacks and receivers The The Star players are going to get opportunities and some of the other guys aren't and it could create some jealousy in the locker room. And if you're not careful or your quarterback or star player is a little Into himself a little too much. It could cause some issues, and it might be minor issues that you don't see, really or or whatnot. But it could show up. You know, during the season and some of the big moment, so you want you want those guys around you? To want to fight for you, You know as a player, and so I would think if you know if I want to tell us you again and I had tons of opportunities. And the next guy to me didn't have Oh, man, You know what I'm saying? They take them out for a meal. Those may have take him out for a meal. You got to do something to to help that situation out. So if they're smart, they're going to. They're going to take care of the people around them because those old lime and they deserve a lot. Your squad. Myles Brennan. Max Johnson, Who's going to be starting for Ed Orgeron? Xgo tigers. I have a feeling Max Johnson is Brad son has done a good job. He's 65 Lefty can move. And throw on the run. He's not going to beat you with his legs, but he can do enough outside the pocket scramble. He throws on time. He reminds me of mat liner. Uh, mat liner is a poor Mac Johnson, which sounds funny because Matt Leinart was one of the greatest college football players we've ever seen, but feet wise, athletic, wise arm strength, wise, even height wise in physical strength or or, you know, physical, uh, physicality. He's a step behind Max Johnson. Max's 20 years old. He played a great game. Gaming is Florida on the road last year. That's where everybody kind of fell in love with him. In terms of Tiger fans. Myles Brennan has done nothing, nothing to hurt himself, but he's he is a little fragile. He gets hurt a lot. He doesn't have the big arm. He doesn't have escape ability. He's he's like a poor man's Mac Jones. He just wants to make a good decision. He's a system guy. And that that is going to get him to the NFL. I think he's going to be a backup in the NFL, but I think Max Johnson could be a potential first round pick one day. Alright, Final one because we got to run because we're up against a break wrapping up with Josh Booty when.
