Charlie Talks Reclaiming the Nation on Veterans' Day

"You look at our amazing veterans and the people serving in the military, they're from a portion of the country that gets kind of a majority of all the condemnation for whatever possible reason. I think it's super unfair. And when you go look at who's willing to go die for our nation, it's from right here. It's from this part of the world. It's from South Carolina. It's from North Carolina from Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. And there is kind of this ethos of this part of the world of service and of duty and of love of nation and country and I travel the country. We were just in Vermont and we were in Oregon and Boise. There is a continual war on the American south. And I'll let you guys sort out if you know there's problems that south has to fix, like whatever. But you're my fellow countrymen. And I think it's so wrong to say, you know what? We are now going to impose our values. And by the way, you have to go remove all of your statues, which now they remove Thomas Jefferson, who is a wonderful man, and they removed him from Virginia. I think in Richmond, Virginia. And I'm always struck in the Bible. One of my favorite things in the Bible is this kind of refrain of remember. And right before the ten commandments, many people don't remember this, is it says I am the lord your God who delivered you from Israel from captivity in Israel. There is this constant emphasis on remembrance and on not forgetting what happened before you. And when you forget your history when you forget the ties that bind you together, there might be other reasons why those monuments might be standard. They say, oh, they're there because a white supremacy, or they're there because hundreds of thousands of people from this region bled and died for a cause that they believed in. And maybe that was part of the healing process to keep our nation together. And who are you, like, smug person from Manhattan to come in and say that we have to go remove every single statue from this part of the world. You guys shouldn't put up with it quite honestly. And I think it's wrong on a variety of different levels, but it also goes towards this idea of trying to impose one's values in a different part

Why Are Republicans Putting Up With This Energy Crisis?

"In Sturgis, Michigan, it is $2 89 cents a gallon. I guess that's better than in California. What is the Granholm plan to increase oil production in America? Oh my God. That is hilarious. Wood that I had the magic wand on this, as you know, of course, oil is a global market. It is controlled by a cartel that cartel is called OPEC, and they debated decision yesterday that they were not going to increase beyond what they were already planning. Incredible. The cliche would take would be, that would be to let them eat cake responsive it. And by the way, the commentator wasn't going for it at all. He asked a very serious question from Bloomberg, and she just starts cackling and laughing. Like, oh yeah, like I could control that. They destroyed the Keystone XL pipeline. They remove fracking and fracking licenses and leases. So incredibly arrogant. And I've called for this for quite some time. We have to tell Republican governors to disobey Joe Biden and resume construction on the Keystone XL pipeline immediately. We've said this on the show for a while. I say this when I travel. Let's just put it into a piece. Have I wrote that PC? I don't think I have yet. I can't remember what we're doing anymore. Write the piece. I will write the piece this week. We'll get it done. And it's very simple. It's that wire Republican governor's putting up with this. Republican governors could fix the energy price crisis now. And people say, well, Charlie, the federal government says that we can't do that. Oh, you mean like how San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle? They say they don't want to enforce immigration law, and they allow rapists and murderers to go free without giving them to immigration customs and enforcement. You mean like that kind of disobeying with the federal government? You mean like Colorado, Nevada and Washington and Oregon, saying they're going to legalize marijuana against federal drug law? You mean kind of like that? No, I'm saying that it's long past time that we start to put our country first and say, Joe Biden, thanks for playing, man. You're destroying our energy grid, gas prices are going up in one of the most expensive winters on record. We're going to build the Keystone XL pipeline. And we're going to force you to bring federal agents in and arrest them, but that would require. Let's just put it nicely. Courage

"You don't want to do that too much. Is there any other key factors? You can people know even if it's a home grower. Right. Yeah, basically if it's ideal to put the seed directly where it will grow out its entire life, but if you're going to transplant you need to transplant, you know, I took less than 15 days from when you started the seed and then after that just treat it like you treat a normal cannabis grow except it's much shorter home. So you you know, you're you're using ugh veg nutrients for the first 21 to 30 days and then you're using transition nutrients right away. And then you're going heavy on Bloom nutrients. So the one thing we did learn is because of that shortened time. You actually need to be using blue more transition fertilizers almost from the very beginning so that they have sufficient reserves the potassium and phosphorus and other micronutrients and you're not trying to to get them in there later too late. So if you want great yields and good-looking flower. Use that blue mix almost from the beginning and keep hitting them with nitrogen a little bit longer than you think as well. So you might turn the three-part into a four-part again just to keep that much money. I yeah, I mean, you know if you're yeah, okay, that's cool. Do you do you recommend like I know that you guys are Geared for commercial and large farms and stuff. Do you recommend people trying autoflowers as a consumer thing private? Oh, absolutely. I mean, yeah, totally because you know, if you if you're interested in growing your own lead, you can take some off plants out in your garden and you'll have your you'll have cannabis in July June or August and then your photo. We'll come in late. So it's it's a way to get something fresh cuz I mean that full season and from the year before by the time you get to July and and June, I mean people have done really intricate storage and that's great. But there's nothing like, you know fresh sticky gooey in July and dog August so absolutely do any tarps or anything sure and exactly which goes back to labor and stuff and then so yeah, you know, I've been farming for twelve years, but that only means that I've done it twelve times, you know, right? Yeah. I tell people that I'm like, yeah, I've been you know growing since the early 2000s, but that means I've only done it like maybe fifteen times or Twenty times especially outdoor cuz I've never been big on indoors. So it's like we all got really serious really quick and We had realized that Sean was gone and what was going on and so we had We start getting word of what was going on all these cars are driving by, and we realized how big the fire was. We ended up getting it out of there within a mile two miles of being there. But it just everything went up so fast especially went through that trailer park within like twenty minutes of it starting, and that was like the Kennel in that really started that fire and then it went from there and like you were saying all along that bike path is all dry all tinder. You know you know it's just easy dry wood and we had such high store or high wind day that it was like you could see blown through the valley like straight up blown through. Ashland talent. It went through talent. So, fast like I can't even believe it it ended up taking out half the store. Will Not have our store but half building of the store. next door there used to be welders. He had propane tanks that was inside and they ended up getting really hot and leaking into into our building and I think this may have been what really demolished are building I. Don't know if that propane would've been in there. You know if it was still in there I don't know if it would have gone up as much. Because yes. We did have a building that was really flammable right next to us but. All the stuff that was in the front, the front windows got blown out because propane tanks had leaked into our our shop as well as. As, well as the. The welders shop next door but you know Malcolm was no longer live. So it's like their stuff was just there. So it melted the cement it blew out our front windows and then it just it just kept going from there to it would take out buildings right next to each other when all the way into Phoenix and into Medford..

"There's going to be a lot that weren't arson and there's GonNa be a lot that were. Started from other fires that were already. So, heavy heavy winds. So to sift through that I, think is going to take a long time to get the actual real numbers but bottom line is there's so many going. Just statistically speaking, some are going to be awesome art. We aren't share positively how this one in southern Oregon did start. They're not one hundred percent positive of how that one did start because it was it was it was in a very random spot we have not had lightening. The you know they're they. There was no reports of anything like a fireworks or anything going off. So they're not one hundred percent. Sure how the one on Alameda started that you know they do know where the pointed did ignite. There's a dead body. Yes. That easily here's a deal though this is all basically stemming from the bike trail. Yes. Our the greenway called the greenway it's. A bike trail that runs from Ashland, to basically pass central point almost a few years ago a few years ago. There was a plan to extend that to grants, grants, pass which I think might eventually get their the problem with this bike path and all bike paths is really as it becomes a place for homeless people and a place for drugs we've already had heads chopped off. That's the other thing too is just because we're some hundred and fifty, thousand, one, hundred, seventy, five, thousand population city, which is not that big looking at a big city We have big city murders on that. fucking bike. Path Samurai swords cutting people's heads off stuff like that. We've had several rapes and this goes back to the seventies sixties and stuff like that. Before we had a lot of brush that was there, which really contributed to all that stuff, and now it's all especially now with all the fires, it's all cleared out but even then we still get homeless camps and a lot of drugs, and so there's nonetheless there's a lot of..

"No peon. Treatise No. No rust so It's been awesome. I did just to make sure did that one treatment of bt because we have caterpillars? thrifts and caterpillars around here like standard. We've had every year there's like expected, but this year. So, hopefully between. Right. Hopefully between the biocontrol and the B. T. spray. Once I we might be four get away with no fricken moldy weed right? Because if you don't know like for beginners. Caterpillars don't really affect anything other than they'll crawl in and make a home of your. Shit. All over right where they sleep he they don't give a little circle just they shed and they don't give a shit and then they shed some more repeal that bud back and it's all mold yet. Will you peel that bud back and he sees little time of the white sp or white black specks yeah. And the mold just comes right out from there and so people a lot of mistake betrayed this or or bud mold. For four caterpillars and vice versa. There is both I've seen both it looks the same. It looks the same it's mold. It's just one is come from mold in the air and once come from Shit. So that's fire that came it. Look like that. Moldy Oh, my God. It was the worst fucking shit ever like seriously there was two different strains. I don't even remember and I won't even blast out who it is but they brought in two different things and I walk in shortly after because you know shortly after they came drafted off and I'm just like. Megan what the fuck is that I'm like is that a moldy nugget I? Didn't I was from me to you distance and I could tell it was mold and then I get closer Mike. Oh. Shit Megan I'm like that's not even Mike. That's not just brown mold. that. Black. Mold. Black Mold, and then I went to the next bag and the all the nuggets in the bag were covered in mold. and. I'm like who the brings us as a sample like this was just a sample. This was a sample they were trying to show a sample. We'd of what they wanted to bring into our store, their quality control Do you think we are? Yeah, their quality control suggs. Yeah. It's a good thing. You didn't buy pounds of this and then that's why we don't do it for that very reason as we. have of sample new farms. We like if they WANNA bring new stuff to us, we tell them they have to give samples even if it's just enough for Meghan Ron, they have to bring samples or else we won't bring their stuff and we don't just go by look. We've don't just go by smell we have to know that you're flavor stands up behind that smell jer because otherwise what's the point? We've had a lot of stuff to smell good and tastes real shitty. Or Looks Real Nice and real nice and then Israel Shitty. It's not worth it. It's especially as much as flower cost these days. No. Yeah. It's not and I want to stay away from it to I. Mean this year we got we got you know we made it through the whole season except for this real recent, we got those easterly winds There's a name form of San Santa Anna Windsor. "Not Fun for as municipality for the city's in. So he wants to come down. But we appreciate you Michael Jeff Jenny. Quite, a while to they're great people. Love you guys. So we appreciate it and we we appreciate the patrons They are now keeping us afloat with everything but especially with the show like that little baby floater that goes around your neck. Yes. Thanks guys. We are able to keep moving the show forward even in the midst of all the stuff that's going on in southern. Oregon and I'm sure a lot of people seen it. Will get into about the fires but right now is a tough time not just with Cova. d- The fires. and. So we appreciate the fact that we've had these patrons come on recently because you know I'm sure on their end there. It's not like they're rich with the COVID. And so all this is really great. We really appreciate it. And it will keep those funds will keep the show going. Even through this bullshit, right so you might be on the street, but we'll just like record you know in a garbage, Cam LINEUP WITH INSULATION WILL FIT in there. Start a little fire Tim can. All right. So right now as far as the garden, let's talk about that real quick. We just got finally got the greenhouse up this year. Right before the rain had. It'd be tomorrow. That's the thing I'm I'm okay with Adam. Okay. The plants being out in the Sun all year I just don't want water to him I mean. My sprayer I don't really count that as waters because it's it's a missed. It's not like being pounded by well right now we really don't want water to hit him. We have ash on we and so there's a lot of ash on them and the thing. Okay. So a lot of this is going around people saying that you know. Okay. So ash and water mixed turns to lie which. In, the simplest sense description or whatever it does, it really does but if you a little bit more research to to get that, lie, you have to ask sit in the water. And it'll separate Ashville sink the LAI will float. And then he skim that off. So there's some stuff that goes on there that that takes. A lot more science than just water nash. Yes. So I mean you want to be careful when you're wash stuff off like you know if you're GONNA walk if you've got a lot of ash near car which around. Wash wash wash water. And your plants, you know I don't. I don't take my advice on this. I. Don't see it hurt and plants if it's not too Ashi. Because you're not really letting the water, sit on anything. What I would recommend is blowing them off. I, you know take not. No No. Not with your mouth. Get a blower. Blow them off and then move forward. I I would be careful of maybe. If you've got a Lotta ash on on your soil maybe that might. Affect. The PH 'cause lie ash self is pretty it's high ph eight, nine so. Therefore it being the Lai, right so just be careful of that. But like I said unless it's a lot of Ash, he can't blow it off. I don't think it should be too much of a problem we I.

"Welcome to the show on higher peaks lady. Sativa all right hey welcome back. We are doing an episode today. Actually it's midnight right now today tomorrow. I like these late when sometimes though so we're doing special episode because we need to talk about the southern Oregon fires that we're experiencing and you know it's kind of a sidetrack from the whole. You know cannabis thing which we're GonNa talk stuff about but. I think people need to know our side of it what's going on and like the local information versus what people are seen on the news. So, we'll talk about that. I want to do some housecleaning real quick. Episode Seventy Seven episode seventy seven with second. Gen. Jd apparently, you caught this when you're doing youtube. But I cough like five minutes of ending. Whatever I didn't have the end of it. The numbers didn't do bad and I didn't get any emails from listeners. So I guess no one really well, not cared but they'd probably thought it was just me screwing up I guess. Shit. But but I did fix that since you caught that. And that's fixed. So if you want to go back and listen to like five six minutes, I'm he knits there now some. Sounds complete I did do it Okay and just to add to this house cleaning bullshit you got me high. On a DAB in all on this last episode on eighty. Now, that's fun with curious about cannabis and you can hear it right off the bat when. Is The show. Senate. Like I was a half rack deep and it was just one hundred milligrams of some of that additional ten dirty arm. Here's the deal we have not been doing a lot of edibles last months after that Daf I was I was knocked down for two days like I was I was I couldn't wake up for two days like I just walked around like a Zombie in some pretty careful. You definitely pushed the other one away and said you didn't want it so I ended up taking it well, and I just I think I need to build my tolerance up again before I, start hitting hard because it wasn't fun being tired for today's. Like taking a sleeping pill didn't wear off for two days right? Go daft so. And I do have to bring up to new or two newest Patriot members patrons. Yes Pat Thank you very much. It's Michael Spangler and Jeff Janey Harper. Say Guys. We appreciate it So the to to patrons. Michael's actually incudes is that what you're GONNA say? Michaels on the influence or tear which is cool. He's going to have some say he's GonNa have some voting power on things that we we ask and do. And have some input. So smart guy we've actually shared emails back and forth in you know he's smart rue read one of his emails the show before and he's actually some point decided said he wants to move down to at least southern Oregon I don't know where. Somewhere down here he's up in. Lebanon and says, the politics are still kind of..

"Well, we've talked about this, but like is soon at some point, you get experienced enough that you can actually you know actually push those boundaries and safe ways like we've done things like walk through town and you've scared the shit out of me by walking through a cemetery that was fun and but you know. Someone else might freak out you know that might not be a good thing. Yeah, and anybody going in the store and getting it but you know I think it can be a good thing for them to have that awakening. So the more people have access to that Po. A I think it's worth. You, know trying to approach it and trying to take access, right? Yeah. Take it off safe and we need to start somewhere. Absolutely. So what's the future I mean? You know that's The same. More of the same trying to continue to learn about the plant and and how it grows and and what it likes and and the different strains that were growing and how to how to understand the soil and Just to. To really. get the potential out of the plant so that it's growing in its healthiest environment that it can. So that's a constant. You know challenge with those seasons and of the pest pressure and different you know obstacles that come up and then just learning more about how to improve each year so. That's always at the forefront. So that's where we invest our money in in right back into the land and into the plants in and how we're going to you know get those Those constituents in the plant that that are there, but not always pulled out because of the growing process. So a lot of the what we're seeing is like as the soil is gets healthier and the plants are healthier than their more vigorous. We're going to see a lot of minor cab noise and minor turbines that may be present until you kind of get into that that growth that of the plant in the health of that plant. So so learning how to How to read the plant in the US use these analysis to to to you know help help the plant grow. Do you find like since because it's changed a lot, you've seen all these changes where it's like in two thousand fifteen was you know people coming on the market but then off this whole blow up last couple years with him. Have, you seen it change your growing methods or styles or anything no I mean. Like one thing that I really was excited about and and wanted and really was. A huge reason I wanted to do records to be able to grow more plants than just the couple of medical ones shirt and being limited that way. So so that's been I mean. You, there's always gonNA be issues, but all in all to to I, don't know there's nothing greater than to be able to have a patch of Canada's like this and grow your own herb and be able to have all these different strains and and learn about them and and have them in this in this beautiful land. So so I, you know I roll I'll take it and I'll do what I need to do and I'll figure out, work it out whatever compliance issues I'm having and financial issues. Or whatever it is, we're going to figure it out and keep moving forward. Now, keep learning about the plant and letting the quality be at the forefront of of everything. You know just what what we're putting out there trying to learn how to grow it better and preserve it better and all of those things really is is what our future what we're focused on now, I know this is kind of even more feature is to question but like we've talked to people about how they might look forward to like. Nationalization or federalization, and in pushing either you know concentrates or brands or s keep it local. I'm just saying and I actually, Eagle, is it legalize it cool but let's keep it local still. So like I mentioned, you know I try to make sure that Mar Southern Oregon shops get as much as they can from us so that the local people can. Can enjoy what we grow here and and people that come here can enjoy what what's in this region and experience the terrar- of what it is and so so I'm I'm focused on that and that you know inherently is that local market and he's me about if it does that because everybody will want it to be shipped out and then what about the locals? Yeah so like our scale isn't really there, you know we grow you know all these different strains we have set amount and beach one. We have our clientele that likes strains here and there, and so we just focus on that and and that's working out really good right now and just you know doing better at that and as far as expanding, you know we we can try. To expand a little bit on our land slow steps you know all cost money. So so I try to, you know not go too fast and just one thing at a time and and do do good at what we're doing and then try to we added a little bit more ground this year and bumped it up to a tier two were only using about eight thousand. Square feet of that tier two so so we're still pretty much cheer one just a little bit over. So we're GONNA increase a little bit here and there but you know if I if I am able to get more of a non herb out there, you know maybe somewhere local in in Williams all I'll help a friend in. We can grow some more herb that way and you know kind of share some of the the brunt of the cost and the risks and all that kind of stuff and and help them out, and you know there's there's a lot of different options that way. But as far as seeing a Nanda like investing in big things you know that's not really a my direction. You know it's like I'm I'm the one in charge in all the choices and all that stuff. So it's like how much how much further do you WanNa go with it and I I really like where we're at with it right now and just trying to improve that and make sure that that's one hundred percent and let that be what a Nanda is and and focus on that. That's awesome that question. Yeah. What do you use for like your nutrients and stuff like that and like your IBM? IPM, IPM? Sorry. Yeah..

"My mind, if I'm pauline, you correctly, so if if if. What what the driven out of Percocet was made from his legal, which is opium if that was made legal? People could grow their own. Well, that would would be what it would get down to. Yeah. Yeah, if you could action my so then my assumption is not you know. At that point the problems that arise with Percocet and opium in general. With deeper decline and I'm assuming and my thinking what you were saying that the problem so would be then would become drug with percocet or a lot of a lot of the concentrated derivative and. the exactly, that's exactly. My point is that those things would still be? Prescription would still be out. They wouldn't be on even though they say these are legal drugs, they're not the only legal. By Sherp Shin, so those kind of drugs will be the ones he'd wind i. think we saw similar things kind of ripple through the cannabis industry like in the in the beginning when they were making some of those trees that are like eight hundred milligram Oh, my God, yeah, which you know, which is a problem. Yeah. Yeah well, and they're still making you know there's still stuff out there. That's. Will Knock you on your ass I mean yeah like say what if you're? What if you make it? If you're on your way to? Eastern, Oregon, you stop and Ben and You yourself another boy during and you eat it. You're driving like people do this shit because people can drive on fifty milligrams. We'll do it all the time, but they don't. Realize, it's eight hundred bucks you overdose. Anywhere. Now! That's true, see and as all things you have to consider I'm just glad I don't have kids men. Think about that yet. And the only thing is, too. Is that your only when you make something illegal? You're only inhibiting the education. You're only stopping education by making it illegal. Because then it's just don't do it. Like. They say we'll just say no..

He actually sounds like you're functioning in a higher level at macro dosing and a Lotta Times I I'm laid out on the couch or something you know certainly and if I'm home along long like a Julia and the baby left a couple of months ago and I ate one. I got these little heart chocolates. That are real nice. Now how homogeneous the batch was the guy's a really good friend but he's worth eight one the other day when I was home alone and it was like curl I was curled up on the ground like uncontrollable tears. Coming out. Happy but like that happened to me when I'm in the social situation so I'll usually start out now with you know maybe half Graham now people know that I can see much so they make a point to try to bring me their best mushroom so like in Vegas. The very first thing thing I did when I got to the trade show Biz. Khan was one of the busy booth. And there's a guy there he's like feature. You gotTa try my pin like start off all of that. And then he's like here. I got capsules. Mushin capsule say a couple of those started that day off with a half. Gram a mushroom that much rips on the deep by the time I left the conference I'd is like two grams. And then I got to the event in a at least another two or three grams that night and never felt the crazy mushroom role just just felt like exponential joy building around all these people and then more people and more more friends more connections and I see other people building connections and then it's just like dope. Do you ever do you ever microdosing all. Yeah for sure like a small little bites off these so my partner partner Julia ground up a bunch of them and she's got kind of like a measured dose. That is her microdosing. Mine is much less accurate. I just take like a little nibble awfulness police chocolates. I got and go for. I have another another friend that makes a mushroom blends. That's got commences in it. But then it's not like fifteen other like Rishi Lien's main court sun and on and on and then a little bit of honey in a little bit of cocoa powder and it's Kinda like paste and I'll take like a little scooper in the morning and that's really nice the lion's Mane with the Commence is a strong NUTRO BEC- drug for for sure I can. I can tell a noticeable difference in my cognitive function when I have a little bit of those two mushrooms combined really. Wow so it is. Is it something you try to do regularly then like I mean I definitely do. Yeah and I you know Paul Damn. It says that you're supposed to all the mushroom. You guys are kind of like working towards their what they think is the right of of of doing them and then taking a slow break doing them taking a small break now. What that means each person this kind of subject to figure out your own and I don't even try to keep track of it? I just do them as I feel like you know I'll. I'll eat mushrooms seven days in a row and then take a week off and then eat them two or three more days in a row and take a day a off whatever just kind of float. Co feels the same amount that you're so you should take. You're not right right. That's and that's why I ask people just curious I read some books on microdosing but You know there's a lot of different information out there. I say it's very it's like food and it's all independent. You know you can read all you want but it's really what what works for you know. Nobody's going to be able to tell you what's best for yourself. You're the only one that can tell you that apps absolutely and I'm not the type I've really never micro dosed and usually when I sit down and do mushrooms. It's you know seven plus grams. I usually like to you all. That's why I'm usually lay down on the couch. Seven plus you get pretty lethargic and Also get down there. You almost feel like you're drunk almost But living in the Pacific northwest especially in Washington. I know at least here but there. You must have a lot of wild mushrooms men an anywhere and this is the craziest year ever seen like Shantelle season starting in the middle of the summer. And we're picking them right at the Christmas. I've never seen gene normally Sanchez's like October November. And you're done and like it was the this year we had like six months insurance. He's never seen anything like all. The old locals are like. Yeah this is the best year crocheting travelers ever been So it was pretty crazy and we have the whole mix everything I have yet to find any liberty caps. I'm sure I've seen them I've you you know what I mean on the field. I'm always looking at all the different mushrooms. I just have never been with someone that can either. And it's such a strange. It looks like so many other ones. There's so many little brown much that I'll look insane so I need someone to really come out and say for sure. This is it and once I see one with somebody that knows what they're talking about that had good at it that's how we got into servicing. The local mushrooms is moved out here and let's roll it back. I grew up in Tacoma in the suburbs like no experience with farming. Very little experience with being you know in the nature in the wild we went camping and whatnot and I was in the boy scouts but not like this not like living on a on a farm living in the woods so we cannot here although locals that we made friends with like. Oh yeah the. The mushrooms are really good at here. And we're like fuck. Does that even mean. How do you of mushrooms are going to kill you? You're going to die Mush so join a mushroom club up in Olympia Olympia and that just change everything. We'd go on these trips these excursions and we'd go mushroom hunting. All over the place inside salary learned so now I can identify all the common edibles I can identify. Identify the AMANITA. Zor Easy but I know which Amanita you can harvest The Museum Crumlin while they're the ones that will kill you so enough that we are harvesting healthy amount of our food in the fall for mushrooms for sure. Now you just briefly mention the Amanita you get those on your property. Eighty those grow. Yeah Yeah we get a Tan down here on the Oregon coast third yellows wherever you're hub at dude in in this. There's a big range in the North Northern Hemisphere and southern hemisphere all the way around the world that grows AMANITA. Is there like a universal mushroom. That's twice so many cultures have stories at Lee back to these images and they are strongly strongly like narcotic it would be the term impermissible but Kinda not narcotic but also listen hallucinogenic He's got this weird one and then the problem with Amanita is a guy. I lieutenant acid that you need to D- he car in a D carved into more mutable dependent acids the the it's relatively toxic. You're you're not gonNa have time if you just eat. AMANITA is but if you extract those is to compounds and reduce it down to the crude oil and then heated up for a while. You can D- carpet just like you. D carb the acid group off of the the the you can do the same thing that attendance acid carbon useful and then that that is a a decent plant psychedelic. I have some the highest in refined product. I have not eaten it yet. So you've actually gotten it refined. Yeah Oh yeah so when the when the deer eating them. That's when I go out and harvest Emma. I heard lower that ear eating at that was when most of it Naturally D. Card so it was better to eat The next step is to drink the deer piss. But that's not my style so see I was I was gonna say we just covered this on one of our episodes and Yeah it seems like that's the way to go. Just have someone you know. Be The be the fall guy and just drink their piss. I started thinking about that. What does that even fucking me like? I got cows on CNN piss. There's never been a time where the faced in a spot where I thought I could just go scoop up some. It's like dirt dirt or the cowboys on. I don't understand how you're going to be drinking. They must have had some kind of relationship with these deer. Man and like the J.. The plant whisper the guy with all the deer he could drink AMANITA probably cut them. They'd be stoked here. Goes there thank you close with them. Yeah good friends with the year to drink their piss so it sounds like it's something that you are going to try this Amanita the there's lots of drugs that eventually WANNA try. I've got a nice little stockpile of some of them just the time from the place. He might've my biggest fear with these drugs is that I take one minute. Drastically changes my outlook on life. And I really like where I am right now multiple times. I've had invites go do Iowa and I'm like first of all. I don't have the time for a multiple day trip like that but second of all I don't want I'm I'm afraid of what's what my brain's rain's GonNa do on that it's GonNa it's GonNa tell me like all right fuck all this cold weather go through the whole time you know you can start over here not too but it's like no no no uh this is not the right well. You never know what's going to tell you. I guess I've had some revelations myself you don't have Cubans. He's out there with call them. Cows pooping I don't think menzies okay. Okay I don't know I do know that. We have places in Oregon that people find him but Not as southern Oregon of it's up by Albany and and Eugene area I again I I need to go with someone and the mushroom club was a great place to Fi- find people people that eat psychedelic mushrooms. Surprisingly just a bunch of Weirdos that are in Russia was very very taboo to talk about it which is kind of like this pointing. That was the reason I would not before we get off the AMANITA. How you said you knew how to find them or pick the right one and he? Yeah Oh yes easiest. One Yep red with white dots. There's also some overlap into amity like Penn Thera which is when you definitely don't Wanna eat bread and the yellows and oranges and the red one even a bread disappear can fade into orange. Sometimes and the white DOTS will wash off. Because it's part of the Vail and that's where people really fuck up with eating Amazon. Is They pick them when they're really small and they had ah just barely come out of the ground and they're like a little white puffball looking thing and most of the Amanita look like that when they come up so you can very easily fuck up by by picking them right then and so all of this mosquito when really. It's like Dane like death cabin overnight Ed. So just waiting 'til they're big and read with their white dots. You'RE NOT GONNA go wrong. It's it's like the most universally recognised mushroom honor. Yeah absolutely Bario knew that we'll funny enough. It said that you have sensations of a feeling big and small when you're on these mushrooms and we talked about how he turns into super. Mario grows big big little correlation. It's interesting Oh yeah dude is like yes I was getting high on. AMANITA has come on the story from a friend of a good plotline right right right so Mushrooms now is that something that obviously mushrooms are a huge huge thing for Trees and bushes. I mean these things running these Michael Rizal networks are are huge. Now obviously. That's part of permaculture. Yes so the way that we INTERF- interface with that is yes. I don't know if you saw but I just bought a brand new tractor partially the tax write-off but also I need need a bigger tractor to run my wood chipper so I could stop renting chippers and small actor chipper..

"Do a on trash cleanup on redwood highway two just got a couple of weeks ago. It is scary and harry and super necessary. The amount of crazy trash we find out their cigarette butts included. That's thinking area this fire prom. The amount of cigarette butts down but it never does so. We're glad to get out there and help at least clean up the debris even if it didn't start fire here. That's really cool that you do that because i see so many places to the side of the road so i wish every area were adopted. I mean 'cause it needs it needs hands everywhere needs hands and it's so easy just to drive by it and forget that this is your community and this is your home and and you know they're those there's the two kinds of people people who make messes and people clean them up yeah yeah and i come from a big climbing background like i spent probably over a decade rock climbing until i hurt myself too much <unk> in our groups. I loved it because our communities our little communities in groups that we all kinda hung out in it was a just an accepted thing that you always took out more than you brought in. Henry doesn't matter if you're camping hiking rock climbing or walking down the sidewalk with your dogs. You always lane trash. Go out a little bit more than you brought in and it was a great rule to live by and pass it on to my kids and my kids i see him. They sometimes get more frustrated than i do like. Why did they look at this mass. I'm gonna make this awesome. It is awesome well. I was just gonna touch on the community service piece. I grew up in cave junction went to high school and graduated high school there and participated at a really high level in community service in high school <hes> mostly with the driving force being scholarships for college alleged but i found so much fulfillment and gratification in volunteering for all these different groups do these little projects. Even if it's two hours here an hour there to help a group out or help a cause is out felt really good and i started to really appreciate the feeling on top of the ability to get some free money for college. I applied for scholarships and got a full ride to oregon oregon. Stay be based on academics and on the community service that was one of the big driving pieces in my in. My scholarship package was how much i'd been volunteering. I continued that into you college and have worked for a few companies since then some of those companies had a cool culture and had community service events orchestrated for people people who go participate in as employees and or ways to donate as an employer or just be participating community. One of the things that i saw with the the growing cannabis seen here in southern oregon was that nobody was giving back and you see all these other industries where people make money and they give back and they're not making king as much money and we see people making tons of money off of this <hes> hampton cannabis sector and there are so few people giving back education is one of the ways that i think we give back in in a big way and it's not just canvas. It's just organics and it's just lifestyle. The tip of the week rarely has to do with cannabis ever. It's usually just a regular gardening tip which was great eight. Were teaching people in providing knowledge so education is one way to do good community service work teaching people. The other thing is to be participate in community events so <hes> <hes> when i started managing the company here we started offering each of our staff members paid.
