I ever with the Mormon So exciting Mormons tinted stay far away from me. But it was fun actually having a Mormon willing to engage in an actual live debate and we went for like almost three hours and so if you haven't heard the full unedited. Commercialized version of that. The full extended version it's at Patriotair Dot com slash David C smalley. But right now. I'm joined in studio, the One and only Sarah Eleven. God I haven't heard that name in a long time. It's so great to be back. Gosh and it's weird. It's our first time in studio. Yes. You've done a actually come a little closer. You've done a lot of stuff with me, but it's always been over the phone would call in like every week back in the day and the old the old dogma debate days don't even call the show that anymore. but it's like. You've been so active in the political scene and it's funny that there's there are a lot of new people listen to the show now, who have no idea who you are, and then are some of the old school people who were like Sarah. Seeing a long lost cousin. Great. So have you been first and foremost good really well, I just moved to Los. Angeles. So. Thank you. Welcome to the fires and small quakes. It's so disappointing. The first week it was clear skies as beautiful and we were like Oh man we're going to go get our beach tent and and all this stuff, and then it's like now now it's. Hazy skies and it's really depressing and you know I sound like a very privilege right now. Go to the beach. The opposite effect for me the first six weeks I lived here it was rainy and cold, and it was like. I know it was six weeks straight in everybody everywhere I would go they would always go. It's never been like this. We don't know what's happening like it's never been like this I'm going. Yeah. Right and then sure enough it went seven months without raining or something it was gorgeous seventy five degrees every day for nine months out of the year or something, and then it rains again and I'm like, what's this falling on my car? Wildfires and Apocalyptic Skies Across West Coast
"Remember the fires out West are burning from Washington state through Oregon clear down to California and firefighters in Oregon. Say they're slowly making progress battling the worst of them but they say they're still very worried about what they may find in the destruction that's been left behind NBC News National Correspondent Miguel Almaguer has the story for US tonight. It took minutes for wildfires in Oregon to incinerate six towns. Today in this House gape the grim search for bodies is underway. It feels like Armageddon with the death toll rising and dozens unaccounted for state officials call the smoldering apocalyptic scenes, a mass fatality incident. Officials here see parallels to the twenty eighteen fire in paradise. California. To hear about what happened in paradise is what was on everybody's minds During that inferno that destroyed the town eighty-five kill the biggest casualties had against the loss of life we never would have predicted that. As the wildfires explode out of control and Oregon. A record one, million acres torched in just one week double the state average loss for an entire year. Across the West in a season where firefighters had been overrun by flames at least thirty five or day thousands of homes are gone and tens of thousands remained evacuated today the president briefed on the fear red flag warnings could fuel another overnight disaster including this fire outside. Los. Angeles. Meantime hundreds of miles away from the burn zone. No escape from nature's Fury I can't agree. I kinda makes my brain a little foggy, the largest cities in the West, choking on the world's most polluted air doctors warn the toxic smoke can trigger respiratory problems, strokes even attacks we started to wear the and ninety five's rather than just the cloth masks because of the Ash Scum Allergies flaring in environmental catastrophe compounded by a natural disaster as officials investigate possible acts of arson despite the terrible air quality, the search for the missing will continue, but in these conditions that could take months.
Trevor Noah condemns Trump's COVID-19 Response
"Back to the daily social distancing show and yes, we are still social distancing pretty soon the top of my head is going to be six feet away from my forehead. That's the plan. That's how I'm going to measure my distance from people hey, what's going on becks they s see you know the reason we still social distancing is because the coronavirus is still spreading, and this is thanks partly to people not taking it seriously. So let's catch up in another installment of our ongoing segments the pandemic. I our pandemic coverage, Hicks off in Utah State in desperate need of the l shaped tetris piece. We now know that one of the easiest ways to stop the spread of coronavirus is just to have everybody where a mosque unfortunately telling everyone to wear a mosque is also one of the easiest ways to spread idiocy after more than one weeks in schools have reopened in Washington County Liberty, action coalition hosted a rally in front of the school district building. This morning up to a thousand people showed up saying the children being forced to wear masks in classrooms is illegal and even unconstitutional. Now have gathered here in front of the Washington County. Administration building calling for. The end of a mouse mandate. If we want to wear a mask, that's fine we can take care of ourselves when George Floyd was saying I can't breathe and then he died and We're wearing a mask and we say I can't breathe but we're for story anyway I'll tell you another reason I'd hate mass most child molesters love them God. Damn. These people were crazy. In fact, you know what they should have. Let them storm the school building because maybe they would have accidentally learn something like I'm still trying to process everything that was going on at that rally no matter how many times I watched that video i. still find new things to process. Like that video is the closest thing I've seen to facebook comments happening in real life I like individual freedom wipe people are the real George Floyd. Happy. Birthday Martha Mask wearing was invented by Jeffrey Epstein. Oh and here's another reason it's hard for Americans. To get the pandemic under control even places do have rules for social distancing. This is how some people follow them growing concerns over Cova clusters especially on college campuses in Ohio police cited several people in a house near Miami University during the Labor Day weekend body camera footage captured a stunning exchange between an officer and a student or there's So, you probably know where I wanNA talk to too many people but you know the the ordinances ten people. Yeah. How many people are in the house? Twenty twenty people inside. You Might WanNa start clearing off the I've never seen this before there's an input on the computer that you tested positive for covid. When was this was? A week ago are you supposed to be quarantining? That's why I'm on my house do you have other people here and you? You're positive for Kovin? We WanNA, keep the site open. That's why. We're so screwed. The main part of quarantine isn't about being at your house, my friend. It's about being away from other people so that you don't spread the disease I'm scheduled. Know where this guy puts a condom on his buddy at this point I'm glad it's just corona virus. Can you imagine this dude handling Ebola wait so I'm not supposed to eat a monkey. Because I got to tell you there was some confusion there. Oh and just by the way. Watching this police officers body cam footage was like virtual reality game called white privilege because this kid was clearly breaking the law but the cups tone of voice sounds like he was telling him today specials Hieaux could I interest you and not breaking the law today? Get a few minutes to think it over and I'll come back so. Some people are misinformed some people a crazy and some people are both. People. Like Donald jaundiced trump president of the United States and one man super spreader overnight at a packed indoor rally president trump breaking Nevada's covid restrictions to court voters. In the key battleground state, we're going to win to that speaking to a throng of mostly mask Liz supporters, his first indoor rally nearly three months. The state prohibits gatherings of more than fifty people but trump defiant of the governor comes after you which you shouldn't be doing. I'll be with you all the while those behind the president and in front of the cameras wore masks, most of the crowd did not. But that didn't bother supporters like meal. Christianson who camped out overnight I'm not wearing a mask that's a shows that I trust my president. Okay look. I. Get why trump fan would have trusted trump before. But how do you still trust this off the he admitted that he's been downplaying the coronavirus this whole time I don't get it. I really don't get what do you mean you trust and this is like believing the Nigerian e mail scam off the he tells you that he's a Nigerian email scam although I'm a small time criminal pretending to be a wealthy prince. Will Send me some money. You know what? I liked this guy's honesty I will send him fifty thousand dollars and as for trump. How you call yourself the presence of law and order when you openly flouting the law and not even for a noble reason. No, it's just so that he can spend nineteen minutes ranting about how vegetables invented by the deep state and Hillary. Clinton and this isn't just about breaking the law. What Donald Trump is doing here is actually dangerous. The last time trump held an indoor rally. He lost twenty five percent of his black friends. So there you have it. Everyone from college students to grandma's to the president himself is helping this virus continue spreading. But I guess. That's the genius of America's Corona Virus Response. Unlike other countries that are preparing for the second wave America realized you don't have to deal with the second wave. If you never get over the first.

A Discussion About Mashup - Fasting
"Are other ways of changing the microbiome for one Actually, a pilot clinical trial found that intermittent fasting for fifteen days intermittent fasting. But on the days of their fasting in this pilot study, people could eat with up to five hundred calories sort of like a fasting mimicking diet almost in a way. They basically did this for fifteen days. So they were fasting for a total of seven days and then not fasting for total seven days, and there was an increase in bacterial richness in in the gut microbiome in certain types of bacteria that have been shown to promote the production of t regulatory cells. and basically there's This was including lactobacillus bacteria, which are which are commonly used in probiotics as well. Those those have been shown to play a role in promoting T regulatory cell numbers through the production short chain fatty acids. it also enriched other bacterial species like protozoa, which is another one that's also been shown to play a role in. T Regulatory Cell Production In the Gut. Interestingly, it was also shown that fasting induced is sort of its own. You know like kitone body metabolism was happening. That was regulating the micro basically was facilitating microbiome growth as well. So I thought that was a really interesting study was because fasting itself has been shown to also affect autumn unity through other mechanisms aside from the Gut microbiome. which that study I just cited really focused on but there have been other studies. A lot of lot of studies have been done. by Dr Vaulter Longo and colleagues that are found either fasting. Fasting mimicking diet or even a Ketogenic Diet. Has. Has Been Shown in animal studies and a very, very small pilot clinical study in patients with multiple sclerosis. An autoimmune disorder where individuals basically just just one week of the fasting mimicking diet or. or six months on the Keita. Genetic Diet so much longer period beyond the ketogenic diet versus the week of the fasting mimicking diet. They had an improvement in in clinical measures for a variety of clinical measures for for Multiple Sclerosis the animal studies sort of confirmed that. That the you know there was a lot a lot of effects on on t regulatory cells and a variety of different effects on autoimmune regulation from the fasting mimicking diet or also fasting. So other studies have found that fasting itself. Can Basically Lead to to preferential preferentially lead to the death of dysfunctional cells, and the seems to happen quite a bit in the immune system So as as a fast becomes more prolonged A tofte g starts to happen and a tough ogies basically clearing out damaged off with NFL. But as the as the stressor becomes stronger, if the entire cell is actually damaged enough the cell will die via pop toasties and this has been shown to occur in definitely occurred animal studies where basically if you if you take a mouse and fast for forty eight hours. About. Twenty. Eight percent of the immune cells in the mouse will die off and this activates stem cells in the blood system and. Then, he met a poetic system where they stem cells increased by six fold, and this causes stem cells then to make brand new. Immune cells, young brand, new healthy immune cells, and. Only it's. VAULTER has shown that they bake. Non they make they make functional immune cell. So you can clear out a number functional immune cell that perhaps would be was playing a role in auto immunity and replace it with a healthy functional immune cell that you know that basically is not having that autoimmune sort of defect But it's really you know the those animal studies were shown to be dependent on it jeff one levels just plummeting going going way down and it's important to to to realize translation of animals that he's like that to humans There's a lot of factors to consider. So for example, and mouse or rodent will lose twenty percent of their of their body weight after a forty eight hour fast whereas a human will only lose one to two percent. This a big difference and it's also been shown that within that two day period. Rodents can blower there one by fifty percent. whereas. It takes a human five days on a water on on. You know of basically not eating anything to to lower their levels by fifty percent. So big differences there and with respect to translating animal to to mouse studies but again. there has been some pilot studies looking at. Fasting and the effects on auto immune disease like multiple sclerosis when I just mentioned there's also been some pilot studies looking at a forty eight hour water fast in humans and there was a trend towards the adipose stem cell activation like I just mentioned with the Animal Studies.

So you can clear out a number functional immune cell that perhaps would be was playing a role in auto immunity and replace it with a healthy functional immune cell that you know that basically is not having that autoimmune sort of defect
Bitcoin Privacy w/ Chris Belcher
"So before we get into it, we'll start with the basics permission list. blockchain's are necessarily public, transparent and DONNAS. That's another way of saying that anyone can look at them without any sort of approval or credentials which makes them public. You can see everything that's ever happened, which makes them transparent, and while you can track what individual identities do, you can't see who those identities tie to in real life, which makes them pseudomonas. But blockchain's are notably not anonymous. It's kind of a wonky point but one worth emphasizing anonymous in this context means there's no continuous identities. So if injuries and I were talking on a cooking forum, the let's post anonymously if we were exchanging messages on a topic and then did so from one week to the next, we wouldn't actually know that we'd spoken before. That's not how most forums work though most forums and most things on the Internet are PSEUDONOMAS and while Andres might not know he's talking to me Adam. He'd see my username my pseudonomas identity block chef, and even though he doesn't know that's my real name he'd be able to figure out that he had talked to block chef before. So in Bitcoin, the situation is much the same instead of calling myself block chef on a recipe forum in Bitcoin I'm known by my bitcoin addresses, and while I might have a lot of bitcoin addresses. A lot of these Sudan's identities. This creates opportunities where privacy can start to unwind and away that sometimes is worse than you might think. For years this has been known to be a problem known to be sort of just an intractable part of the way that cryptocurrency and transparent public blockchain's work. But there have been a lot of ideas and a lot of inventions which have sort of come out which are still many in development now, which are trying to solve this problem which brings us to today's guests. So Chris with that set up that I get anything wrong and talk to me about how you're thinking about privacy these days. No I think you've explained that very well. So a concrete example Ed says people's bitcoin addresses all the PSEUDONOMAS identities it's whether coins are on and a common problem. The people do is address reuse. That's why they use the same address again and again, and again in this analogy, that's like someone using the same pseudonomas name again and again that again, an using you address for each payments on then never again is a bit like making you pseudonomas name and then discarding it you're done with it and just easy another one. So. In that circumstance, it's not anonymous, but it's almost the same as anonymous because there's no reuse between the identities it's not anonymous, but it's pretty darn close. PSEUDONOMAS swear if used correctly, there's automous identity every time however, the identities are linked together. So on the block chain, you see bitcoins flowing from one addressed to another. So it's not like the identities completely new that linked to the loans previously. As, well, as information from the blockchain, there's also leaks based on things like the person's it address. Oh maybe they've posted this address on a public forum somewhere at other leagues that come in as well. What of scary scenario where privacy is broken and like is it for an individual? It becomes scary or is it a kind of Meta threat that's really affecting the whole network when you're talking about privacy and sort of like address re-use things like that. In worst case scenario what's the thing that happens all of the above essentially so one example is if you're a regular user and you want to use bitcoin to buy some coffee, a nightmare scenario is you go to the coffee shop and Buy Cup of coffee and the person serving you can see your whole financial history so they can see income and they can see or the other spends you make. Whether you donate to such charities or anything like that. It's also problem if you'll business because that means if you untie income and. Of Public, you'll competitors could see how much you're paying your staff, how much you pay for supplies and all that kind of thing where you allocate your resources and for the network as a whole, there is actually a related problem of fungibility, which is what I did is privacy. So that's where a fungibility is a necessary property of money. So we have properties like to visibility portability durability and fungibility is just one of those. You need this to be good money and it's the property that every unit is the same as every other unit that means a good can be used as money because. It means it can be accepted for example, banknotes if you get paid with five dollars or five euros, it's the same as five years in general this particular banknote having some special thing you need to check. So the nightmare scenario there is that every time someone accepted Bitcoin, they'd have to actually look up to some kind of database to some kind of checklists check the these particular coins receiving were not for example, banned by some institutional, some government or something, and if that what's happened because these blacklist, these kind of look up tables would be centralized it would destroy the decentralisation property of Bitcoin. But Chris just being a little bit facetious and playful here. What's the problem with that? Like they're just looking at your financial history what can anyone really do about that and if you can see everyone else's financial history to isn't that only fair? Well I. Suppose Turn Back so you could Stephanie CEO Financial History please. Of reasons why you wouldn't want to share that kind of thing and going back to the examples I said of the merchant of the business who runs a business in uses bitcoin. Their privacy is an important part of their business because they need to keep secret, for example, how much to pay US suppliers or they need to keep secret other things that they do, and that's an important for a healthy economy. There's good reasons to hide things from. The public or from your competitors yeah and I think it's important to point out too that there already is like kind of an uneven playing field as far as privacy goes. If you're willing to work for it, you can have a greater degree of financial privacy and if you don't work for it or you don't know how to or you don't think that's important then you're going to be at a disadvantage compared to people who have greater privacy. Even beyond the commercial considerations I think the even greater consideration is the fact that without privacy in your financial affairs, Hugh can be easily targeted for your political associations and your political expression, which given the fact that more than fifty five percent of the world's population live under authoritarian or corrupt regimes means that it is very, very easy to suppress the fundamental mechanisms of democracy representation, political expression, freedom of speech, freedom of Association Freedom Assembly, Etcetera, simply by violating privacy, and then imposing punitive measures as retribution for political expression

"You know he's other numbers on huge only nine rebounds a game again, not taking into account today's game, but a block and a steel and Anthony. Davis has been more dominant than those numbers. Suggest I think he's been better. So I gave him the nod their at at powerful incentive. This was actually A. Tough one but Joel embiid forced his way into the equations not for the first time it was going to use of knowledge but embiid had another solid gain today and he's at thirty two points on fifty six percent, thirteen rebounds. They shouldn't have lost to Indiana, but I didn't. But otherwise I think in Betas share that he's easing pretty good shape and he's he's playing pretty pretty well so. I gave him the nod day for the first team Senta cat in the back court This guy, it seems had two losses. But. He's averaging thirty four point fourteen rebound eleven assist triple double and shooting forty percent from the field. A three point game is still struggling. That's not a surprise. It'll Luca Danni each. Putting up monster numbers like that, and again, the losses while they haven't been huge, he's teams lost twice but. One of those, of course was the crazy one there to the rocket. So you know it would've would've loved at least one more win but those numbers hard to keep me out of the first team and then in the other gods spot. This guy I mean what a story so five thirty points a game on forty seven percent not giving you a whole lot else but standing up as the franchise God Devon Booker from the Phoenix Suns. Over James hearted. Look what? He's he's been great. He has been great and that got him against the clippers sealed it for me because I was looking back over it and I thought why not? This is the first time in for the first time in Booker's career it's three games in a bubble environment. They probably won't make the playoffs anyway, but it's like, okay, this guys finally stepping up and and I wish the best for him in Phoenix because if he can be, we've seen in these three games in the suns would look bright. I gotTa know, does it pain you to put booker on your all bubble first team and your Guy Bradley beal isn't even there? You GotTa go in my book. Kill you inside. How was he'd probably be on the matter what even if you had three losses Wasn't shooting that. Well, okay. Second team did become a little more tricky actually because there's a few more guys I think sort of who've been good but not great had a couple of good games and not a couple of or not being fantastic the whole time I'm going with as the other. Ford because he's only two and a half games and he's teams lost twice but he's averaging in those two games that he's played like thirty six and sixteen and just been a monster. So again, Eddie came off even though he's team hasn't been super impressive the other Ford spot again a couple of good good options Pascal. C. has been good but. The softening the with the raptors as good as they've been, they've had so many contributors haven't had those sort of super stand echo. I'm going with the prettiest guy, the dancer on that Michael Porter Jr. and that other one. Two. Three Games being good in that first game wasn't good. But those lost two games have been so good that they've swayed me because it's not just been the shooting it's being the rebounding as well and just how he's gotten his point it's like he's in a groove. He's Red Hot right now. So Wa and I thought I made of all the meaningless awards I think all bubble teams awaking probably out there at the top. So what the Hell with my? Like did did Paul George and Kawhi cancel each other out here in why and the clippers lost twice as well so I was like There's there's this excuse I need. That's going I. Wanted to wanted to hopefully generate a little bit of conversation as wealthiest. So. Who was this? Guy With the first team center this morning before the Sixers game at use of knowledge I'm shocked just have good. He's been twenty two points and twelve rebounds over three blocks game and almost two steals a game and this is why he was in the first team nineteen, thousand nineteen from the free throw line I had to give A. But. Overall, he's been fantastic for Portland wanted to put him in that first time, but I just thought embiid has been a little better. So nook gets the nod. So nurk over Yokich near over Yagi Jim was a yes that was that was the other choice for that spot. But I just thought you know what a great story for each I'll give you a story angle here. In the back court the AH. I guide fast Freddie he did it he sealed at the evening with these another double double against the magic twenty three points eight assists fifty percent shooting from downtown and that game against the like he was credit. No. Miami excuse me where he had the seventy three's incredible game not one with thirty, six points a career-high. So I gave him the not Kyle lowry was great against the Lakers but he actually wasn't all that good i. Numbers was kyle. He's obviously doing all these stuff but Reason yeah. And the last song you that last spot that lasts guide spot Chris Paul was great today against the lake as bought. The Lakers kind of gave that one to in some guy with giants hot and. Todd and because. I mean he had that forty nine point game in his first game and he he's been great. The big problem with these foul trouble a couple of times so. That may have cost a game or two there for the rockets But yeah, James Harden. Defensively. He's got that boost Adler when they can't get him out of the way. So I thought he's been very good. So. He gets the final spot there in the final guard in your bubble second team. Okay. Let's. Get the first guard on the second team he's got to be the last. Let me just recap lease all bubble teams here and then tasks or trey maybe you can take offense with someone on there or maybe an admission or something like that I for Lee All Bubble Team Tj Warren Anthony Davis at the forward spots to be your center Luca, and De Book as the Guard Second Team, Jaanus, Michael Porter Jr., the flavor of the month. At the center spot vanfleet and begrudgingly James Harden. As. I guess I. GotTa. Put Him in there. Any. Tacitly start with you. Any problems with? I think we did a solid job or is he missing somebody? Well Joel embiid just just. To talk that Yousef Merkich comparison Joel embiid has been amazing. So I'm glad you put him on the first team 'cause he's been phenomenal. Nurse has been yet story. You want to write a story I guess it's a little sexier but I I would put hard in overbook I know book at a shot and he lied down and that's awesome but harden has been it's been as good as hardened can possibly be..

"Guess. They still pull it out anyway victory over the wizards one, zero, seven to ninety, eight, a lot of sixers double figures and be just too much I. Don't think we're spent a lot of time on this game. Any takeaways from from this one guy? Beads really good. You know and having a player like that is enough to be a wizard squad even though this did seem like it shouldn't be at been as hard as it was. That's just kinda how it's going to be with the sixers I feel like it shouldn't always have to be a huge effort to pull out a win against the team that. You have a clear advantage against 'em beat has been great since we've been in the bubble. He had the issue with yelling at shake Milton. They had a game that came down to a last shot but all things considered he shooting over fifty percent putting up monster numbers. That's what you want to see from embiid. He's doing every single night so far as well. So. Yes. The sixers have won a couple in a row but. It's going to have to come in the playoffs to convince anybody that they're gonNA have a shot at making a run at the conference finals and NBA is GonNa. Be a monster. It sure feels like as it doesn't seem like there's a lot of consistent consistency coming from other parts of the lineup now. Ben went out of the game tonight only played twenty three minutes. But at the same time you know he's he's not going to have monster scoring games each and every night by harasses up and down Josh Richardson he's going to be clanking at times and the bench isn't GonNa come through at times so. On Joel Embiid to be huge issue feels like an yeah. They they haven't been convincing even though they're. Two wins in a row here and when it comes down to the playoffs. Like last year Joel was sick injured, and hopefully, he can keep it going every single night because it's not gonna be easy every slow. They don't have a an easy series because of where they are in the standings. So it's GonNa, be on his shoulders he's GonNa have to carry this team especially with you know they're they're number one ball handler from last year's playoffs gone in Jimmy Butler. Lee. I. Want you to spoil it at. Spoil it. If you want to did Troy Brown Junior, make your all bubble team. No he didn't know. For the wizards, there's one showing some lung yesterday he has. He has played well, he has fight well, but his team success eliminated him from eligibility. Taking team success. To some degree. Yes to some degree I imagine what been on different story if this was Bradley beal. For the very same wizard. Well it depends was putting up thirty five game maybe A. It's like for those young guys. It is an opportunity to impress the coach to. Sow the seed for the coming seasons to try to get some more time two more minutes but. They the honestly like if they win a game, it'll be it'll be a miracle really at that point, it could be. Your. Right. Well get to the later games from what day is it Wednesday or Tuesday it's Wednesday. The thunder they pumped the Lakers. I. Think. That's fair to say I think I. Can throw a punked on there right tap and yeah one oh, five, eighty, six was the final score and it's not like Lebron. We played ten minutes he played thirty minutes the Lakers were playing or other guys. But the thunder were honestly just feel like they're in control of this game. The whole time big part of that was Chris Paul who finishes with the whole home? Twenty. One, seven, six, plus twenty five and his thirty one minutes and just dictating the game. Make sure everything's under control doing a little officiating coach and a little bit over here. Think he was up in the broadcast. Booth at one point is the one person operating the camera i. mean he just did it all and this is a good win. The Lakers Lakers fans are songs are freaking out a little bit even though they've locked up the number one seed but this was not a great game for them. They cannot can't really hit a shot right now they're struggling daily green finally, hit a three. Yes. The claiming like you say, Lebron, it's not like he sat out the whole game he played and they tried. But this also had the feel that the lake is knew that they had wrapped up the number one seed and and the thunder. After disappointing loss in the loss game wanted to come out and and be better and they were, and then in the second half I, sort of felt like like all right we wanna try we don't really need this one. So. I think Davis scored nine points in the end. And that to me was. Pretty much what the message was from the lake. It was like we WANNA we want to get some Repton. Still we want to try to hit some shots and find some form, but we we not reapply for anything right now. So they really didn't seem to put up too much of a fight in that second half. Bad you know they're just not making shots I think Anthony Slater tweeted that they're twenty five percent from three so far in their bubble games and to me Lebron has been giving it his all defensively his body looks good like he's in shape but he hasn't been putting his imprint on the game offensively yet. He hasn't had a great game on the offensive end of the court and you know we've talked a lot about how it. Feels like the playoffs and all these games matter. They don't matter that much for the Lakers and it ain't the playoffs. So clearly, Lebron is saving something when the Games are actually important but I mean you got to feel a little concerned because the Lakers are doing a lot of lineup figuring out right now trying to figure out who's actually going to be able to make some shots fits well together who can play defense and actually Get some shots made on the other end. So they got things to figure out before the actual game start here. Yeah the closing lineups are definitely a concern. WHO's GONNA play with Lebron A. D. I think coups has earned a spot is getting a lot of minutes in those fourth quarters. But yeah, it's lure locking in Danny Green, and of course, like early the season as of were as was everybody as part of that final push for the clutch minutes. Right. Thank you for Danny Green in there. But are you taking a Mo- now because he can't shot, he's the perfect Lebron complimented sure would feel like but. Maybe, he is getting these clank sessions out right at the right time because Danny Green goes for these real cold times. So. He's definitely a candidate to be out there. But sometimes, he's doing a little too much bouncing of the ball don't do that. Don't get into Lane Danny just go hang out I mean it's nice to see an awkward Danny floater every once in a while it's Kinda. Cool to look feel like yourself is on a basketball court there for a second..

"It, but. Not In time to avoid a pretty brutal double bogey on the third hole after two Pars. Hit very big block into someone's backyard. Which? Mistake I thought it was a five, because that's how it plays four people out there normally, but it was a part for this week so basically I was wrong about our score the entire day so tiny little scripts here and there the absolute highlight of today though. With see Kim. He is a treasure he. A little hot, let's just put it that way I mean. He's two under through fifteen right. Both Him Adam long are kind of on cruise control long just dialed in with his wedges. Everything is to ten feet. And see Wu is is definitely kind of scraping around and still under par sixteen toll water on the right. He hits into the hazard, so he drops hits it I think short of the green then onto the green. Mrs Like two footer for Bogey, so he makes double bogey. He's pissed, so he's back to even par hits very good approach into seventeen long par-three. It's about a twenty foot PUTT. It breaks six inches when he played a foot of break. He's not happy about it. He flicks off the Gulf whole grabs the ball after putting for par making par mind you putting in for par grabs enthroning the lake. Then, we go to eighteen. He overcooked his draw through the fairway left and into. The rough left, so he's got to go over the fairway over the water to the. Over the rocks and to the Green. Is Far to the right, so it's a hell of a shot. He grabs three would from the rough on a downslope. Fans that gets under a little bit POPs it up. It comes like ten feet short of the of the Rockwall, so he's in the water drops on the other side of the lake. Because that's the other side of the hazard, then hits just electric iron shot is six weeks gets up there of course makes the par light shoots even-par grabs. The ball throws it into the lake. basically see. We'll cameras my new favorite player. Runs a little hot. Has Justice sensual trajectory all of its shots? He he's definitely. Incredibly talented. But Fun to watch him. Just work through. Various little ups and downs in his career so. We are four over. We're GONNA. Need a hell of a day tomorrow to make the cut probably something like sixty, four sixty five, so. Nothing to do but go get some dinner. Get some sleep. Try.

"All right, so tell me what it was like prepping as a caddy then I. Mean I know you've caddied for me. You know in a couple of US Open qualifiers different to goslings invitational. Now you're caddying in a PGA tour event. What was this process like? Well I mean the stakes are a little bit higher, obviously but at the same time there's a lot of similarities man I mean. You. Look at the driving range, and there's thirty guys on the driving range with their caddies, and they're all trying to do the same. Damn thing, right? They're all trying to figure it out so that a couple of days from now. They cannot make bogeys. We're closing in on the tournament. Starting. It's Wednesday night. I've got my nice one bedroom airbnb. Near the University of Minnesota kind of like on the north side of Minneapolis. If you can hear the refrigerator in the background or the traffic. That's kind of where we're at. Makes me. WanNa live alone. That's all I'm going to say. Yesterday I failed to mention a couple of important things, so let's rattle through those. First why I'm here, right? First off I. Guess Martin Trainer Is Cool with me caddying for him. That's the important part. He invited me, but really the reason I'm here is because his normal caddy Aaron Crawford. Monday qualified. You probably heard about this, but. He shot. A sixty three. At of course nearby here so sixty three, yeah! A. Of people are already making jokes online about how he's going to beat his boss this week I'm not buying it. Now with me and the bank, but to be fair Aaron has an incredible putter. what works well on Monday? Mike game is. GET IT in playoff teeth. Hit the green sink. I kind of like frees me up a little bit. To what do you mean? Keep your that simple. Yeah, I mean like I'm to worry about like it in the fairway like not getting, play him in like it just to get it on the green from there I'm not necessarily trying to attack men's all day or car. Because I know that like I'm GonNa make up strips on putting yeah. He warned the eighteen major series of putting competition in Vegas. This was a revelation to me. So. Martin trainer calls him one of the best putters he's ever seen. He's really good green reader. He basically reads every for trainer during a normal week, which makes me feel super inadequate because. You know I don't think I'M GONNA. Read any putts for Martin this week. It's just I'm not used to the green speeds out here and I think a good green reader myself but. I don't really know Martin what he thinks of as far as like. I don't really know what like how Martin reads himself, and that's just another piece of the Pie. That like might be too complicated if I if I really dive into it. But speaking of. The things I didn't mention I got my first look at green books. Those things are frigging insane. Yet to buy these things specially made for each course I don't even really know what they go for, but I think it's like over one hundred dollars. Basically they've got the slopes of every spot on evergreen mapped out. You've seen these things, but the cool thing. Is that like when you open them up? There are four diagrams of each green, and so the the green is mapped out in four different ways like one of the ways is just a heat map like it's just colors only. The one next to that is all numbers numbers everywhere. The next one is numbers as well, but it's like sixty percent of the number, so it's like a little bit. Less fine tuned. It's kind of interesting to see like all these different ways in which agreed could be diagrammed and caddies and players have to figure out which one works for their mind. And kind of what they're talking about together. So finally, the last thing failed to mention on Tuesday. Is Our group rate? We are paired up with Adam long and see will Kim which is solid grouping couple top one fifty players I, think both of them are in the one twenty five in the world, range Going off at seven thirty Thursday morning so like. Not that long from now a the thing I'm most paranoid about right here on Wednesday evening. Is probably raking the bunkers. which is something that all new caddies tend to say and it's kind of funny, because it's such a simple idea. Wrong like there's actually an art to smoothing it out and the soft like delicate touch to getting the sand in like a tour accepted state, and if you're doing it near the green, you kind of have to be careful. When you're doing it, because players can be putting in some of these guys are very ornery about any type of noise, and now that you don't have fans like every noises. Is really accentuated so hopefully. We just play like Tiger at Saint Andrews in two thousand, and we don't hit into a single bunker all week. But, that's it for Wednesday night. We'll get an early up. Call the morrow. Three alarms are set, so see then. Talk. Go. Go. So that was me this morning. en route to teepee twin cities and now fifteen hours later. We're here at four over seventy five. Day of tournament, Dolf caddying is in the books. Man is it different? Tuesday and Wednesday. It's like it's all good out on the driving rain. Guys are each other up. Kind of checking in with each other you know. Bender in the coronavirus for you, whatever making jokes. Thursday morning it gets real like really serious. People are quiet when they're on the driving rains and the putting green. Separately just more intense, and you don't really feel like. Everyone's going out of their way to check in on you. I suppose I could have expected that. I wore pants. Today Paints Rebecca Choice. which apparently is like a laughable thing to do as a caddy? But for one was not the only caddy wearing pants. I think there were two others at first today I was. On Edge. Like the first four or five holes whatever I did not deliver a single yard number two Martin. Just kind of let him figure it out all on his own and I just didn't want to get in the way. You. Know trainer was always the longest person in the group so. Generally where in the way between the other players in the group and the whole, so that's one thing like I have plenty of time to find yardage markers and pace it off and deliver the number. But all of a sudden like if you don't do it while they're playing all of a sudden, it's go time I. Guess I can understand how. It takes longer than forty five seconds. If you don't have things figured out. quickly. I.

"These days. There aren't many people who get inside the gates at a PGA tour event and far fewer get inside the ropes. Players Coaches, some tournament officials in caddies one. Oh six. Now affiliates laying down, but something strange happened on Monday of the three M Open a strange set of circumstances that led to our own Sean Zach trekking from a small town in Wisconsin to the northern suburbs of Minneapolis to try his hand as an emergency last minute looper. So. What's it like to carry on the tour during the corona virus? How do things look different from on the bag than they do from in the media, center. Shawn found out. He's here to tell us just what he learned. I'm to chair and this is the drop zone. Sean Zach. Is here joining me from the city of Minneapolis where he's just finished his first week. Of caddying in a PGA tour event, Sean. Take me back to the start and tell me how it is. You ended up caddying in this week's PGA tour event. We found out on Monday afternoon late afternoon. That Martin trainers normal caddy Aaron Crawford. Is a very good player in his own right, and that's kind of been the joke all week because we were going to all of a sudden, see how the caddy of a tour player would fare against the tour player and so I, texted you as you are the Martin trainer connection, because you can form in the past. And I said Hey I'm five hours from Minneapolis If Martin needs someone to look for him this week. I can make the commute. I can do it I can drive across the state of Wisconsin and be the bag man and it was kind of a joke when I texted you. But. That's exactly what happened. Tuesday night, it's ten PM. And I'm wiped. Absolutely wiped out. It's been a long day I found out like twenty four hours ago that I'd be carrying the PGA Tour for the first time for Martin trainer. And it's not exactly good for. My sleep didn't sleep last night. Really because of it woke up at five am. Got On the road at five thirty. Five five and a half hour drive over to the twin cities across the great state of Wisconsin. Got To the testing. Stop now. This is the important thing is if you WANNA get inside the bubble? All caddies, players and coaches need to go through the same protocols got my nasal swab test, which was my first covid test and it's definitely uncomfortable if you haven't had one yet. Not the. Glamorous experience but It's only four seconds. It's four seconds of discomfort and if you can't handle that. You're not gonNA have any sympathy for me. Anyway. Finally, get to the chorus. Get all my goodies. which is the hand you disinfecting wipes the hands of your big land? That's the important thing. They put a purple little tire around your wrist. That'll get you into the place that give you a parking pass, so you get the exclusive parking right next to the clubhouse. It's kind of the good life. Really the biggest revelation is just how great the meals are inside the clubhouse. At any given point, there are basically three meals offered breakfast. It's like an Omelet. Eggs and Bacon, some really great oatmeal and fresh fruit everywhere. Gatorade and everything all the snacks on deck, so that is something GonNa make the most of this week. We got a good session on the back nine today just nine holes getting used to that big heavy to her bag, which takes a little get used to so the back nine I've been told is the tougher nine out here. We'll see if the numbers hold that to be true later on, but we spent the day using Martin's range finder, which makes my job super easy right? But I got my first look at yardage books, so they hand you a yardage book for free when you're caddy. I'm going to need a lot of practice I. Think on Wednesday using them. They're just a lot of numbers to look at I mean just looking at I. Don't know it. See The ten th hole here there are. One two three four. Five six, seven, eight, nine, ten eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. Sprinkler heads, and that's when the ones that really matter. They're even more than that. It's basically every hole out here. Has Spreads heads everywhere and I think that's the wrong part is because when we play as amateurs. We're we're? We're always looking for a sprinkler head to step off and find our yardages in. There are a lot out here, so you got to find him. You got to deliver the number for the player, but I need practice because there are so many numbers look at, and if you're not focused I, think it's pretty easy to slip up. let's get a number I. We have. One Oh six. Now affiliates laying down. But it's not. Attacked one six. Let's try win. A. Theoretical. Can Happen to the tournament. Why you brought me here I mean I want some positivity out? Well, that's why didn't say hit to approach shots. Layup. At somebody that one ten shot started a little west of the pin and let it come back. Yeah, 'cause. I bank they're. Started right at it. Thick. FEET! Letting less. Well done. It's Tuesday. And we're walking up the eighteenth. what are we feeling? How are we feeling? You know for a guy who's missile. Lot of cuts in the last year actually feel pretty good. Okay I think we're kind and flake. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel here I like it and this course obviously. It's beautiful course open which helps me as a longer cater I can get a lot of drivers but I just love the bent grass Greens and fairways. I grew up playing on that, so it feels like. what are we doing tomorrow? Tomorrow. We've got a pack day. That includes a range session. Little chipping and putting and nine holes love it. So trainer did tell me that I'm catching him at a lucky time. He says he's hitting much better right now than he. was when Dylan to chair. My fellow catty and Co host caddied for Martin last year so big ballpark here at twin cities. Some pretty long par fours. Trainer. Has this Stinger? Shot that he's been working on It's with this big heavy to iron. He hits pretty high when he wants to and can can drop down to the Stinger if he needs to do so if we make an eagle this week, I think it'll be because of that club, and lastly for Tuesday night, the lesson for Wednesday more sunscreen, always more sunscreen. All right folks time for bed, Big Day tomorrow..

"And cy youngs and the whole thing. Yeah, you can still do it. Sixty Games do it in a short and season. If somebody's good in sixty games great I mean why not? How you told Envy People Sixty Games. Six Games. It's fine you the MVP sixty games. You did your deal sixty games that's. How can you be the MVP in seven games? because. It's a little series, but if you had a football season, it was five games long and you're GONNA. It's just feels like. He's edited. Feels cheap. He's MVP for five games. So what I mean it you know and I know it's only five games, so we want to conversation He's only five games had a conversation. You still give out the awards. Why not manager to hear Sixty Games fine? If I. Saying I. Understand what you're saying. So why would crown skinny I understand what you say but? But at the. Champion. Champion you actually have an actual postseason that looks like a postseason. That's one thing, but to give someone an MVP sixty games. You know how many Jews would have won. MVP took. Days guys never heard? Ask Circumstances. Never, we've never seen before, not. We're not talking about nineteen eight somebody played. It was hot and sixty games disappeared. There's not Julia. Talking about. This is just like when they gave crafts to Oscar for best picture sometimes. Just, skip it and just not this year. We ain't doing. It was a good pitcher. Miniature goods store. You could everything you're talking about. Let's let's move onto the next one here. We know that there's going to be a rose parade on January first, but there will be a rose bowl gain, take or shake, shake it shake. Oh Man Wisconsin's going to go I think. College football is is if it doesn't get started immediately. They just cancer to the spring and hope that the NFL work with them. That's what I. It doesn't feel like a good sign that if you can't have that parade and I understand, there's probably more people with in the game, but you just you just can't have one and not the other and I'm not talking about for tradition. Sake. I'm talking just about people for for people's gathering. Sake well so. It's different though the gathering. Has Nothing to meet a gathering you, you don't have to gather at the Rose Bowl to play the game this. As, a gathering a football game is again, but you don't need fans I'm not talking about fans talking about the to teach using. But. You can't have a rose parade. GOING DOWN COLORADO ARAB WITH NO FANS watching TV. Today! Key I I agree with you, but is it any more weird than having a football game or a baseball game with? No Fans Kinda the same thing, isn't it? Because we we're used to practice it and we're used to practicing. When nobody in there for purposes, Somebody's stadiums are empty anyway because the teams are so damn bad because. We're talking about a parade to form where people are watching it on TV than in person, I get what you're saying. It would be super weird, but I'm looking at dodger game from last night this inter-squad. There's nobody in there. That's pretty damn. We're, too. Well, it looks it looks. Weird because. They both were dodge uniforms, but if you stick an opponent's uniform on the sides, you wouldn't feel that way you just. All of a sudden that. It's. It's it's not that the dodgers versus dodgers's weird, but see dodger stadium usually so full to begin with seeing nobody there is really travis, if you if you. Saw An opponent in not just the dodgers. You wouldn't feel it because think about how many games you watch. WHEN EMPTY STADIUMS! You've not as dodger stadium. No dodgers, maybe not at Dodger Stadium, but you've watched. Cincinnati reds play the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the stadium was empty. It was like yeah, five people in the stands. Before speaking of people in the stance, twenty thousand people were in Bristol Tennessee watching NASCAR race yesterday. We're going to start to see sporadic crowds at all major sporting events soon. Take shake, shake it shake. You're not gonna see it because it depends on like here Los Angeles. Mayor. Garcetti said months ago that this was. People wouldn't be in a stands into twenty twenty one at the earliest. I don't necessarily see where you're going to start to see all over different cities throughout the United States. Man You just it's you know you're not gonna see it in certain places, because the the virus that the continues to keep climate. Like you're not gonNA see it in New York. Thousand People. Is All. Just seeing. That was like Whoa that. It's funny. How quickly your perception changes that all the sudden twenty thousand people which usually would be a fraction, look like a crowd because we just haven't seen it in four months. Where did you send your head of that? The Nascar in Tennessee Bristol Tennessee I. Mean Come on, see. I mean. Now. See come on, just saying see. They just do it the way they want to do it because that's just terrific. You're going to be heard and Teesta and Tennessee soon. Be careful. That's right. I'm not I'm not worried about that. I'm just let me slide. On, the new show, August seventeenth is going to be the truth. Ruining? Rudy go bare, says that the SNITCH line inside the NBA is petty Rudy. Gobert specifically needs to stop talking Taylor. Shake it. Shake. Rule you shut. Understand, he did what he kid all that, but at the end of the day. It is petty if it's really being used for what it was set up for this kind of petty. I understand where you're coming from key. But let somebody else say that. Yeah, you shut down the sports world dog. He's not corner. And just and just take a break romantic. Come back next season with some thoughts and opinions and post does but let season just play out because you literally your test result. Lily shut down the entire. Sports world. Speaking of this niche line. Somebody dropped the dime on Dwight. Howard will tell you what his attraction was. The coming up next on the morning show on seven ten ESPN..

"But that is absolutely look. Bigger our. Why. Why wouldn't they just do the bubble in Arizona? Arizona Arizona's hot right now, man! Twenty four hours, I mean. Evening Games you can play. Heat wise I'm talking about virus wise. Right now virus! You know what the? Three places they initially thought could be the bubble that they would play three different. We're Florida Texas and Arizona. And you look Florida, Texas and Arizona Right now, and it's like. He said they're hot not and. They they volunteered. They wanted to be open so bad. They were the first ones. The Bala Tier to yeah. Play here, come here. Come play here and now look at. Yep. Gomez here. Let's like the finish line is going to be difficult part. Let's be optimistic. Let's assume that we get started here in a week. What do you think it's GonNa look like. Is it gonNA look like Spring Training Baseball receive starting pitchers, pitch, three and four innings, and or we're going to see what we would expect to see in July in the baseball. No it won't be like July which is why they'll be more, you know. The pitching staff will be larger it'll be interesting because they'll have played. Really the majority of the Games they're playing our inter squad games that you just can't get amped up for an inter squad game. Look of the four of us here talking. There's only one player who's played inter squad games. That's Yuki. You can't tell me that. Even a a exhibitions bring treasury. You know a A preseason game is at least against another opponent. An inner squad game, which I'm sure you've played key. They're not the same. You can't get amped up the way you can't. When you're seeing a different uniform there and almost every club is only going to have to of these spring training type games where they're playing a different opponent before the season starts in there used to playing thirty. Games. During spring training where you can. Do some motivating things with though right Pedro, because if I'm if I am A. Seger and I'm the dodgers. If for some reason, some odd weird reason I! Don't like. Kenley Jansen, and he comes up and I'm and. I WanNa just rip him apart. I just got focused in because for some reason I'm mad at him and I just don't like him. I don't like him, and so you you you certain things like that to motivate yourself when you had, we had scrimmages against one another like man, I never really liked de Anyway, because two days ago, grabbed my shirt from behind and it damn near ripped my hamstring. I can't wait to get a hold of him and you just in that will get your fires juices going you start. It's almost like the Michael Jordan Kobe. Bryant thing you make stuff up in your mind. Okay I. Don't know if there's going to be thirty guys capable of doing the same thing, but I get I get what you're saying. I understand that you might not get thirty guys doing it, but if you get one or two or three guys that do a certain that raise their level of their level at that point time, it could trickle back down into the dugout. Where everybody catches fire is starts to. Just you know you can do it day. Roberts can make fun and competitive to the point where maybe they make it competitive. Maybe they say this team can answer. Yes, what I'm saying. Maybe this team gets hot. Dogs for dinner in this team wins. They get lobster. You make competitive. I mean just do. Okay Okay I. Don't have the time that they normally do. Together aspects so I. Don't know that we're GONNA. See. NECESSARILY CRISP. June baseball You know it could be less than crisp. But IT I don't think we're GONNA. See pictures going seven inning now. I, think three or four innings. Maybe, trying to get five to get wins and things like that, but it's going to be difficult, and and I would not be surprised if partly any starting pitchers during the first two weeks which which game are you going to be able to hit any? I don't know yet. We're still finalizing our plans and you know the issue also. Is that that just because you're in the stadium doesn't mean you get to talk to anyone, so there's different. Obstacles that we have to go through to even get these games and so we're. We're still finalizing I mean we're having difficulty getting on airplanes? our place so who knows who knows what's going to happen? Where Pedro hopefully next week when we talked to you, we're talking about the the beginning of the season. We can talk a little actual. Baseball's opposed to for Raji whether or not ready to get. This thing started at all. It's always good to talk to you. We'll talk to you next week. Supposedly. Hey, at least the right first game brought. Max Scherzer that that's as good as a guest. That is very very good for sure. We'll talk to you next time. Thanks much all right boys take care. Take it or shake. It is coming up next. Let's stick with baseball I just have a conversation with Pedro Gomez Major. League baseball should not hand out any individual awards, this season, ticket or shake. Shake Tease.

"We've got all the juice out of the limit. I'm like well. No, no, we did! He says okay. What if you walk down the street at you, slip on the peninsula. Then, would so you? Knew I liked jerome. To his nephew slip. That's one banana peel. Outdone Tele Television. Man, we we. Let's just going to get it done. That's that's exactly right our. Gomez is going to join US next. We'll get you ready for the dodgers and the giants, which is coming up one week from today man. It feels good to say that that's coming up next on the morning. Show on. ESPN now as promise right now off the air. Because this is, this is not what we're bringing on. The right now talks with Major League Baseball. His friend of the show Pedro Gomez Pedro. I am good. Good Boys Know surviving the here. I have not been outside. I'm not even joking. I don't think I don't think I've been outside of total ten minutes in the last thirty six hours. Yeah, it's it's been a little oppressive it is. It's funny because when you do, stand outside you do when it's when it's like one sixteen. You're definitely feel it you absolutely. Don't say. Healthy in as e come on. As Heat Pedro, we are we are. One step closer to a couple of things one step closer to Major League Baseball Star and we want step closer to ending which one which one? Is Most likely to happen I. Well the START I think will happen. The finish is the part that I still have doubts about Once you get going, you know we've seen players already you know. Opt Out Number One and task positive and have to step away and the whole. It's farcical how a club can't announce why someone is away that that to me is one of the bigger jokes here that that's going on because. Let's say it's a legitimate reason for being away and. To say well it leads to instant speculation that player must have tested positive and I think the majority of times. The player has tested positive. But I. It's just one of those things where you or five six guys of the same club that pop and Chile test positive. What's going to happen? They have to step away for two weeks. You know. Let's say it's the core of the team that light for two weeks you're out there. With less quality and it just I look. It looks like they're going to start. I've said it before I think when I've been on with you guys I think the finish line is. The is going to the difficult part hip along. Won't allow them right. What the Players Union the player's. You should have just told the players look. There is absolutely no shame in testing positive. If you test positive, let's just announce it. And it would have just erased all of this. Almost a joke of well? No, that person's not a camp today why? I'm not allowed to say. That's that's a joke. Yeah, it's silly. I. Know No of course not I. Want to go back to something you said then what let let's let's play this game. Let's say the dodgers just to pick the the local TV. All of a sudden cody bellinger Mookie, Betts Clayton Kershaw and Arnold Max Muncie all come down positive and the question about then what is the then what just muscle through it and figure it out and get to the end of the line, or is there a drop dead of the number of players to have out? Well they haven't done this yet. So at the the plan, my understanding the plan is you muscled through it. You bring up four guys, five guys, and they're going to take the spots for you know up to two weeks. Until those players, quarantine and test positive for several days in a row. not going to be. They're gonNA miss one or two games. It's they're gonNA miss some time at that point, so and the plan is to muscle through it. So I. It's it's You know you get one two three clubs that maybe face this type of issue. Then what may just go to the League look? We're not gonNA play which is kind of what we've seen in the AM L. ask. Dallas that test is too many players. They said we're not going to play in this tournament. And then I WANNA say Toronto also the same thing, and they said we're not gonNA. Play in this tournament they to clubs drop out of this MLS tournament. That's going on right now, but in baseball. It's not a tournament. You're playing games like the dodgers would be playing the Oakland athletics, maybe for three Games and Now what those three games aren't going to take place. It's it's there's just so much uncertainty here I know why they're doing it. It's money. I understand that money rules the world we've. We've done that since the beginning of existence. But. God, it just seems like there's so many hoops to jump through that it almost makes it seem impossible that they're going to be able to get to the finish line. Patriot one of the hoops to jump through in my opinion is the fact that the rules just different from state to state to state, and that's true for variety of reasons whether it's one St is has a better grip on it or as one state governor, just everything should be opened or another one. Should be close. Major League, BASEBALL ADAPTING THEIR RULES TO FIT. Every individual team, or are they trying to do this as a one-size-fits-all? Of Some states are going to be more open to having fans than others. Yeah and look the Commissioner's Office. Address this a few weeks ago and they said if a certain community shuts down and they do not. Have the ability to play their games at home. We will find a place for them. So, let's say that La. County or you know Dade County in Miami just completely shut down. Say No. There's no gatherings of any sort here well. MLB has said we will find a place for those clubs to play but I mean it means packing everything up moving to a new place now all of a sudden. You're surrounded with new faces in that area. New Environment and who knows what happens? That's why it's. It's just. Got It just seems so. Many obstacles to be really weird. If Day county decides to move to somewhere in all of a sudden, that play sheds down now you. move it around shutdown situation. They don't want that. No. No, but they did say. If a certain community close down, we will find a place that club to play..

"LIKE NICK! Packers again a noon wall like yeah, sure, but like not baseball. When you sleep the wrong way I, don't think. You were her. I don't let this out as much as I. Just my hair is just out. Cut. I don't know. Cut Event, but I'm starting to light like I actually shower and like omit looks decent like like outlook, but right now I I haven't done that today, so I just have. No back, judge thing I actually saw like every like three weeks. My Dad's best friend will call me and catch up. We'll talk sports all that and his first thing he talked about was. Aaron judge again injury prone all that and it's just like. I actually yelled at him because they just he's. He's on twitter. For. They just announced he was taking BP and all that and he's fine I like he had a stiff neck. He's not injury-prone, gives of stiff neck and I don't think he's injury prone in general I think he's just. He just has a bad string of bad luck like getting hit in wrist doesn't make you injury prone man like breaking your wrist when a ninety five hits it. That doesn't make injury prone sure. He had the shoulder injury that one year through though, and he played decent, you know. He heated up in the playoffs and all that and You know obviously the rip. The thing wasn't great. But that's like the first major injury he's really had. That has like been like just a bad situation like he's just unlucky. Giancarlo Stanton is injury prone? Aaron Judge Not Injury. Prom I think he's just. Become like the mets where every time someone gets hurt or like this again this this season sucks. We're not the mets. We don't. Judge is going to be fine if he honestly if judge does get hurt again sheer, it's a bad it's. He's injury-prone. Share but right now I do not think he is like I think I'm with you. I think I don't think so again. Stiff neck in all the show he's playing. These I see visit can be deep, but if he heard again, that's. Another another series injury venue got it. Revisit it, but right now I'm not I'm not there to say I. Don't agree with a BS, so his time. He said he's alive tonight. That should be good to see. Paxton starting tonight, so they pretty much are decl. It's kind of obvious when he's the number two. So he'll pitch I. Think they had a day off? Show Saturday in DC. Number. Three's probably half at this point you number four is Montgomery and will. This is assuming it's not guys gone the mountain, so you have to assume he's not like he's meet some time to like. Get his shit going like he's not. Feeling any symptoms feels great, but they're try. They saw clint they saw what happened. knuckle missing. WHO's the other concussion guy? What am I missing in this? Clinton, somebody else right. nells great right Elbert although he had a billion different things going on, but I l birth I was like wait a minute. was that just like in so many different injuries? Yeah, you can pick out of a hat. And he probably had an injury, but clint. Yeah, the the concussions ship keep comeback so far nothing but Tanaka, but that could change like concussions are weird. You know where the brain is very very hard to predict and all that He's throwing a bullpen tomorrow. Okay, that's just said. That's a good step, but I feel like he's going to need. Then probably a few of those SIM Games I think he misses his first turn in the rotation and you've probably seen the second turn. Now who becomes the fit starter. I don't know if. They could just go with the opener, or they could also go with Schmidt they can go Elisa, who they look great. Still they go, King did law routes I guess that will play itself out over the next week or so Mister Dole with fifth starter I think having a options like Schmidt as looked great kings. Donnie LASAGNA's look. Great the bullpen is sixty eight and sixty six days during get used like you can't afford all day every five. Six days so I think they should just go like they have. They have the ability. And reason why not start it right now? He looks like he's seems like the candidate right now. Who should be kind like just? Why not try them out if he starts killing it? We're good if he doesn't. We have other options. Yeah I don't see really much of a downfall of it, and he clearly wants it, and he looks the part Yeah, I, don't I. Don't really see a downfall it. The next time you guys throw Lou is king and Schmidt. I guess it'll be interesting to see how much stretched out they are, and without Tip you off of the plan. Because right now they're just going to innings but if they get higher and higher than that will tell you okay, these guys are planning on. You know maybe going four innings. For that V started whatever so we'll see. But the good is that Tanaka is really experiencing. Those citizenship probably only missed one start, which is fantastic the rotation looks good. I mean the Red Sox the red sox rotation now with Iran out like they tweeted last night. It's Nathan you volley. Who originally thought was supposed to be closer, but they just need to start now making you volley..

View Welcome. Last night I'm pretty. My fucking sheets are wrong like I I just changed my seats. I think I got the horizontalism nothing. And on top or whatever or the long I last night was our. Easier way to distinguish that they're not clearly it's not that. Off along right I'm ready to. Measure tonight figure it out well. It should save this side. Is that like fucking? Put a sign dude like like when I go to an airport, you can find the car rental. This goes on this side of the bed. This is Elissa. Just a simple like a stripe at the end of the sheep, because it's getting tucked in any way so like it's not gonna be Gross, but you just distinguish something I hate. Do you know what bothers me? My number? One pet peeve in the world is. When the sheets get like they get untucked from under the bed and they pop out. Literally bought like I brain just. Out of my. Mouth REFUSED THE SHEET BACKUP, tests! Now show what I do is I ended up buying sheets that are over overly too big, so just no way it happened. scrunches up get more upset. There's there's no way of policing which sheets sheets just not a good thing. We're so off topic here Okay we're talking about Garrett Cole. Gear Colon on his wife. Got weirded out by me. Just calling her beautiful. Whatever teach their own Gary Cole-, fucking amazing every time he takes the mound. It's literally like I I. My jaw drops he the other day. An interest game goes five and two thirds were. Great after two weeks after after kids, he does actually yeah men men. With the kid after two weeks probably would look worse than be. Decide Work But he was amazed. I mean nine strikeouts. Foreheads I think Tuchman had two of the hits which is good because talking was the one who is like getting fooled. The I believe by this guy a couple of weeks ago. but I mean colleagues ridiculous out there He's on I, think he's GonNa Pitch on Friday. He's not coaching and the spring training game against that season. Care about the mets like. Gives a shit exhibition game like that. He's lined up on six days rest against the national, which should be great and yet he's ready to go at this point. I'm I just everytime he pitches. It's such a tree. I just love it I have confession to me. I had another Garrett Cole Dream. I told you guys before the show so months ago, I had a dream Roy Darko gave up a home run on opening day to the orioles, but then went on seven innings. One Ten strikeouts at Yankee win last night. I had a dream. This one didn't make sense, but somehow the first game of the season was the Yankees I the Astros in the AL D. S.. They just started in the playoffs, and it was game on day. LBS and dark on the Stanford Yankees and trim sued chew was up for the Astros, not on the Astros what he was a righty also would. The Levy and he took all deep on the first pitch to let the L. and so I just can't stop dreaming about all coming up on runs at eye. Eric Cole is never coming on this podcast. We're talking about is white after two. and. Three. You're at. Your wife is glowing. She taking vitamin C. Pills, society. I think he would take those a compliment. Weirdo. Comment! Fuck you guys anyway? Erica looks awesome. Fuck all you. There was a moment out that that it's I think Kyle Condor on twitter You tweeted out. It was a coal press conference and they're doing these things through skype and zoom, and all that be there so this one guy had like the worst connection the world. He sounded like a robot. You could barely hear him, and like instead of like. It's just a little thing here, but like instead of like. Giving Me Shit about trying to answer the question or moving on and all that he was like wait where you trying to say this, and you could get a guy like still muffling us like yes, and then he became a real answer like this is nice. That's just a just a nice dude like I love. You think back to Randy. Johnson Literally Day One. He assaulted a cameraman. Being. Classic Classic move of embracing New York City and then like Eric just cyborg on the mound, and he's just as Nice Dude. Who Actually gives you know? He cares what the media and all that and eat treats everyone respect. I love like you cannot be I know he hasn't thrown game at a pitch yet in a real game yet, but still far like he couldn't be pitching a more perfect game like in terms of Great New, York Yankees and all that it's just really cool to see I like that show. zooming nice to talk about him to their all year 'cause we're not gonNA like. Pick anything out of him. It's just like hey, it's well again great. He almost perfect game time dammit like his bad games, three of five innings three runs like too many. Like would be furious by that type of snow, but usually we would take that with our lineup. If. A starting pitcher goes five innings through with this line. We win the game. Tend to thought. Yeah so. But then the the bullpens GonNa love these any game that call pitches the just like then get drunk the night before and just like hang on the pen and do all that. We've heard stories what they do up air. There's Bliley you're gonNA. See Tommy Cannon like they're not even going to be in uniform sometimes. I'm cold pitches. They're gonNA. Get annoyed by Tommy by Columbia are dead out like give up some run, so we can go out the deal. L. Night the bullpen. Yeah, you guys see the talk. Man Canley Yankee Commercial. You missed that. Did you guys know? Assad yeah, it's funny like I said. It's basically Tommy interest. talk in the clouds, just like getting socks delivered the room and all of a sudden. Can't. "Move Us, and we were on the coronavirus topic. Scary thing this week. Chapman tested positive for corona. scariest part with it is that it wasn't like we're DJ. Sesa had it before they reported. In the preliminary test, he cleared like his testing, and then got it when they started like playing Anke Stadium. The moment that news hit and I think it was on Saturday. I was just like this is. This could end the season like this could. This could destroy the team because if he's got it and he you know there's pictures of him throwing with Gary, and like this chick and spread so easily then it came out that though his his personal trainer as right hand man. Didn't have it that made me. Okay if he like, you would think he would have it within around so much. We did and then it seems like No one else has it but. I think Hicks quoted in saying like. The moment you hear that news like you have to think have been near him by June six feet of the sky like if you Martino like a whole article about it, and it's like. They! They took it so seriously. And updated the players ahead of time Y- that he had it because it's not always knowledge every player but now the testing, apparently at testing was like a big shit show to begin with now it's like caught up and they're getting tested like every day sometimes twice a day. So and they're finding the results out quicker so far I mean I haven't heard visit. Resume any news with that, but that should get scary especially with Garrett Cole like that guy just had a kid, and like that's the last guy who wants to fuck around with any of this shit and granted like he's. A CYBORG and he's ready to go and all that when you know, he's having second thoughts, but if a outbreak happened. It wouldn't be crazy for him to sit out like. How can you possibly blame? That guy is is kid is to Rachel. You know so That's just all scared me when when the when the Chapman News broke. That concerned me. Big Time I didn't really care about Chapman accuser. That point like they can figure that out, but I cared about the outbreak. Yeah I. Think like you said. I feel like. If there was an outbreak, we we would know by now. Probably like everybody's been testaments weird how it spreads like spider has the antibodies like me and my roommate don't my mom has anybody's? My Dad doesn't you could like live with people and like one of them can happen, and it just doesn't transfer so I'm sure with the team. They were distant outwards who? Nobody knows but also see that there is like A. Like positive news on of a senior vaccine, Yelich detested like. WHO said their immune system and Shit and Yeah like like like next week that there's like A. A huge like doing thirty thousand people or something yet like the final stage of like they're in their final stages of studying dislike vaccine basically, and they think like twenty twenty one now. It doesn't really affect baseball as much, but other sports yeah like. Like yeah, there's just like a huge your morale. We needed something like that, so yeah, that's up to those guys in science and all that we a lot more talk about I I want to talk to you guys about Roman. Swipes I actually was. So I had a few. My buddy came over for the UFC card on Saturday. And I don't even know how Roman actually came up. With my buddy was so intrigued, at he immediately ask for the Promo Code got in. Not GonNa feel real until I'm seeing it until Dan of dislike. Something's GonNa it just. It's like such a foreign concept like live sports on TV. That I still just can't believe it's actually like about that. It's so weird like they're. They're literally have to. Practice every day. No days off right now. Go everyday and just practicing. Go home. They can't do anything else I didn't know they couldn't like. They can only do it I can go out at all. Did you read? The Blue Jays thing yeah, get find like seven hundred thousand jail. Jones. Show that that's a special situation because of Canada's federal laws and they're like. Yes, you cross country lines. You gotta quarantine for fourteen days while the Blue Jays are gonNA have to do a lot because. No one else poison cabinet so They gotta go back and forth, and so they basically have to stay in their hotel. If they're found like if Wadi Guerrero junior wants to go get a pizza down the corner. Someone sees him seven hundred fifty thousand dollar, fine and. Bring. Him because he sucks the really like notable player on that team, 'cause it's fucking sick and has wagon. You know not that s anywhere else. non-sports bloody! You know what I'm just realizing is that? You know the first Knack County UFC, or whatever golf like the first team live sport to return is going to be the New York Yankees. Like I. I knew they were laying off the MLB season, but like it's been you know everyone does go the day that I finally gets back on TV like it's GonNa. It's well might not be degenerate. Who but whoever's going to be leading off for? The Yankees is going to be that Earth's parts. That's going to be unbelievable. Yeah, the Yankees will bring America back like. Charge to that. And the world series to the first cable, your America in world series from. Credit credit to us for just. Being those leaders out there Yeah, I guess so you mentioned Lemay who? There's no real update with him. every time I kinda they of ask Boone, like he hasn't had answered because there's no answer like he's symptomatic and he. You just have to test you. If the of these two straight negative test, which it can take a long time, the do and Gatty your system I don't know now. He seems like a guy like if he got clear the day before opening day, he just being like you could just walk into bed and baseball. I don't know when he gets clear. Like I think there's a very real chance that he's not off. Hitter next Thursday, and it's probably Aaron Hicks. And then becomes the second baseman there. There's a little battle right now. Tire Astrada seems to be leading. It I love. What I loved Darrow's drought. I feel like at anytime. He's been accused produced. He hasn't really gotten the opportunities, but you could just take. Just hits baseball. Yeah got a great name to yeah, he will. What he's been shot. Yeah, he's. Every time that gets mentioned every time he gets mentioned, we should say. He got shot where he got shot. Yeah, what God! When he was down. I WANNA say the Dominican and he i. don't care what his your leg in the leg. Relate on. It's so sick I've been dying for that. If I ever got shot, every time I mean gets brought up after that's the guy who got shot. Yeah, initially. I've been dying I. WanNa get shot in the leg, would you? Would you lead with that before you say your professional baseball player? Yes. WAR UNITA now being pro baseball, the Yankees to like you. I don't know yeah I know. I would. I would always out incorporate like a random limp in my leg. Just Don't worry about the limp. According to his of Pedia, he has the excuse. He got shot in January twenty eight team and they didn't remove the bullet until July of twenty eighteen. and. He played baseball between those two days. Yeah. He's a hero. Supposed to take those things. He's got got a couple. I don't know if he's got three. He goes two homers. In these like interest round game, so he's heating up. He's hitting. The mega circuses tyrod gut shot. Also five shirts. Paul more than. Of A God There's little battle. At second weighed him. I've even saw do they had they had go clang second yesterday in in like drills and heartburn, so they're trying. They're gonNA. Try a little there in trying. To play second. Oh yeah, that would have Russia. I don't want I want him a third. I don't want into heart. I would agree with you. Go to a knee on second. In phone, so it's I. It's all you need to do I. Don't think I'd trust and heart doing a double ply A. Indoor first base stolen. We've got enough of those. while. They're trying their credit to try to get him in as much as they can. House bats. Like. What feels pretty good in left field? Yeah, but like you can't always put them in left. Because WHAT ABOUT PARTNER CLINT? You know like these guys the? Standings really fucking everyone here by just not fully recovering from that calf injury as soon as he did because he's GonNa now up at the H. which we're, a heart should be and everything just kind of falls into place and being the D. H. But That's not the case, so he's GonNa be out, fueled or whatever third. You'RE GONNA. See Him playing I feel like by any of the year is position log is going to be nuts. "They'll just going to let the people decide which is not taking steeping place for them to be because it does manage to knit together both that third of voters who would leave to remain but does it please the membership. When you say they've become a remained positive memberships incredibly remain? And it has been a bunch of contention in inside the Party and is also somebody. May Jeremy Kuban look a bit spun. Nissen indecisive when actually he has this incredibly radical policy platform that we were talking about earlier. The menander question's GonNa be how many people in Sikhs which basically marginal binary choice between laboratory whether Lipton and clearly titan have a chance. How angry all these remained voters about brexit? Are they angry enough that they protest vote for the lip then to say we hate Brexit so much we let you didn't care who wins out the Tories or labor and especially not not could be the most crucial thing in this entire election. The thing I've been really struck boys. How many People Dayton Satan tonight? Because they are uncomfortable with Jeremy Corbyn and they date night. Anti Semitism saying there are a little uncomfortable with the hotline at the dams of taken and they don't like Brexit so they can't go for Boris Johnson. There are a lot of very confused people out that and that's one of the most striking things and it will really determine how much the parties are squeezed at the very end. Do Liberal Democrat. Voters actually decide at the very last minute. This scared voting for Lib. Dem's gets labor worried about their finances and said he ended up voting. Tory even they hate brexit with the other way round get them getting burst Johnson. Exactly it's it's really really complicated for people and I sympathize with a lot of those who don't know what to do indeed and we have seen in the post this week. The now is already happening. This always happens the final two weeks the campaign when it becomes. Who Do you want to be your next prime minister but you know? I talked to one conservative candidate today. who was very concerned about Lib? Dem's uh-huh in that patch and said that actually the threat of Corbin is quite effective and they think lord of those toy remained votes even pulling credit below. It's only about seventeen percent. Anti think of Tory remain as are going to back the party again. You could see that increasing quite a lot and if that does happen and it means limbs won't make that many gains a tool in this election. No but it's striking. How many conservative remain is all flirting with the liberal? Democrats having never voted for them before Magpie. Who's actually actively going out there with a big big yellow jacket because he is so angry about brexit and anger at the direction? The Conservative Party is taking. But just as a note of caution thing forget in the whole first-past-the-post-system the incredibly humbled and we went to a presentation by such on Curtis the master of polling. And he said he'd be surprised if they get many more than twenty seats. That does seem unlikely given the fact as it will get squeezed. Just finally Jim to summit where Labor is this. We counted it in the campaigns. Gone for them next week. It's going to be a very big one. It's not the manifesto. It's the first ATV debates where John's go head to head with Jeremy Corbyn. Do you think that pleased with how it's going. Even though they've not had that rocketing effect they had in the two thousand seventeen campaign but but they've been gradually rising Ashley twenty seventeen it was quite a grotto phenomenum the rise of Kuban the relative of Kuban so I remember the Independent newspaper. Did these stories. He's almost everyday saying Corbin's picking up picking up at one point. That seems a bit ludicrous. Because they wasn't much polling evidence for then in the last maybe two or three weeks he sort of it came along like a grand national horse from behind. Has it been a great week. That was a pretty bad day mid week where you had senior Labour figures. John McDonnell Jonas with arguing about thirty two hour working week. Actually meant you had the way Kuban was suggesting that that should be arrest. Made of the Isis lead at the spy assists like fast and also Jeremy Coon being confused. About what latest position on Scottish referendum is but leaving that aside one not great day I think the BT policy will get traction and we'll be populace with younger voters and like you say the next week we'll be the ones works with the manifesto and with debate. Boris Johnson might be a good order in many ways. Attorney Copen likes campaigning. He thrives he might look a little bit more energized than we've been seeing him in recent months and that's it for this episode. Thank you very much to Jim Law.

"So regardless of how it's going to dissipate or or or how far away these folks are President Trump yesterday announced that he is going to send five thousand troops to the border. What reasons did you give for that? So there are the reasons that Donald Trump might give for that. And then there are the reasons that the Trump administration gives for the reasons that Donald Trump gives for it is that this is a very bad thing that is an invasion that these people are, you know, trying to come illegally and should be told to turn around or stop. Yeah. And that the US is going to be tough. Because this is a situation that requires being tough eat is legal to seek asylum in the US, even if you don't have papers. And if you present yourself at a port of entry and official border crossing and say you want to seek asylum. You were breaking no US law. Okay fee. More nuanced argument is that you know, there are already more people trying to enter ports of entry claim asylum than the administration says they have space to process, so they're already making people wait having a few thousand people trying to come in at a single point would take an already very stressed system and would stress it even more. So the argument being made by the administration is that you. You send the armed forces to do things that customs and border protection would otherwise do. So that they can be doing the work of immigration enforcement instead of having to do everything else. But the president the administration they're sending five thousand troops to do this. And no one even knows if if anywhere near five thousand not there, I I am confident saying that the caravan that initially inspired all of this is not going to number five thousand people when it comes to the US it already doesn't number five thousand people. I think it's also relevant to point out that what happens between when the soldiers arrived in. When the caravan arrives is the midterms you're saying this could be an optics play because there's an election one week away. We'll put it this way. There are people who have made good faith arguments about this. There are also people in the White House who have said pretty openly that it doesn't particularly matter. If what the president says about the caravan is correct because this is the play for the midterms you can do to Kate among that and figure out how the dozens are actually getting made how you will. Coming up today. Explain the caravan as political play..
