"Today we have a really interesting guest. Yes so interesting and i knew it was going to be but then it got really interesting our guest today and we were recording this like actually after we talked her so we might preview a little rebecca romney. She's a rare book steeler and recently put together or something. We have mentioned a couple times in passing because it came out this summer A collection of romance novel Like essentially it's called the romance and one english and one hundred watt collection of roman flake. I additions and other leg. Sort of roman paraphernalia. Yeah and It went to lilly library at the university of indiana and She is on today to talk to us about collecting about romance and about collecting romance. And you know for everybody out there who has shelves full of books like we even to her about. You know the kind of modern collector. What if they're your books right now. What can you do. It really was a fascinating conversation. It was really interesting. Because i mean part of this collection. There's so many pieces of this collection. That are amazing. We will put langston show notes to the full catalog which you can buy in a print edition but you don't need to because online for free can read it all online at type punch matrix which is rebecca's company where she is a rare book dealer but one of the things that was really fascinating to me was. She has a few lots. That are consecutive. Copies of category romances. Different category romance lines and she has some really interesting fascinating early editions of books that definitely have disappeared from most of our memories and one of the fascinating things about this conversation. Was this idea that romance is such a massive genre and still scarcity exists right this idea that you know harlequin presents number two hundred could just be gone. You know we might not have it anymore. And that's wild to me that it can both be a massive. You know there were probably one thousand copies of of heroin presents number two hundred but they just get thrown away or you know you know. I don't know wallpaper to room. And so i think it's really fascinating and i think there's so much to talk about. Why romance is a genre that is scarce romances genre. That people know using toss out And i am really happy that we have rebecca and other people who are interested in collecting it as though it is a value in the same way as literature or even of others. Rana's yeah and of course we know is a value rate. She talks a lot in here. About like how. How collecting starts when its genre romance. And why for example right now is more collectible than romances just supply and demand right so creating demand for it and so. I hope you enjoy our conversation russia. We really enjoyed our conversation with roy. It is fat. I can't wait to have her back..

"And you know there are many birds that we have lost look at the zealand storm. Petrol disappeared for over well over one hundred years and then suddenly came back and so there are birds. The petrol another that came back from the brink of extinction and normally the abyss of extinction is just that it's the black abyss from which there is no return and yet birds have been known to do it. And they've made unexpected appearances after one hundred or two hundred years and in some ways. That's what makes me burning so incredibly interesting because they live in areas that we often cannot get to easily anyway. Which is the deep ocean. And it's in that part of their lives that we know so there's about but with the latest Approach that we go by trading responders onto two birds etc and then tracking them with satellites and so forth. We are now beginning to understand a lot more their their journeys. i mean. take a wandering albatross. Can you believe that wandering patrols leaves the nest as a youngster does not have any parental guidance goes to see for the first time and in its first year will fly around one hundred eighty thousand kilometers. It's clinton live for something. Like sixty to seventy years and in his lifetime will fly eight and a half million miles. These are things that lambert. Just don't don't do for me. Is what makes sea birds so incredibly exciting an interesting. I live on the ocean. So last question about your book. Are you working on else. Oh not necessarily but you working on anything else. We are working on something which we call the conservation issue. And what we're doing is that we're taking this book. Seabirds the new identification guide were making it into a bigger four-match and we're doing that so that the full beauty in detail of your place can be seen and we're hoping to get it out by the end of the year and so the plates will be the same. The texts will be the same but they'll be laid out differently. There'll be much more space in between everything. Everything would be much bigger. And we're doing a limited edition. Just one thousand copies for the serious collectors. And so that's what we're working on right now. I'm working twelve hours on it Trying to get ready for the christmas period whether we make it or not. I don't know but stay tuned. i'll let you know can is Can preorder that or is it a you. Just release it. And then i in best dressed. People can write in peter harrison seabirds and apple..

"Eddie and dive reconnected about artwork and selection of songs for a greatest hits record and that led to them recording two new songs for the album. He's surprised alex. And michael by bringing ralph to the fifty one fifty studios on announced. They did write and record a pair of songs. One being me wise magic and the other bank can't get this stuff number. And he said he. And dave had i met at dave's house smoke some cigars and had a great time and at the two started to become friends again. Eddie actually said quote. I love the guy. Big gene can previously right and that would change again really quickly at most. The band only lightly considered fully reuniting with rawls in prevent highland sebastian bach claims. He was summoned. To the office of dot mcgee manager for his then band skid row and told there was interest in him joining that nyland but he sent he never actually edition he also said that there was only one lead singer four five highland that was dominated and if they didn't like and they sure as hell wouldn't like him that was pretty much his his his attitude will now get this one will status jordan said in nineteen ninety eight that she spent about a months in nineteen ninety six fifty one fifty singing over previously recorded tracks. She apparently said at some point. Quote you guys couldn't possibly be thinking of having a female lead singer spam could you if they were. She claims that she told them. It would be quote the dumbest idea that i have ever heard in my entire lies. Then halen denies that that happened. I would love to have heard. That would have sounded like well. You and i have talked to light about her sort of how her career got overlooked at that time. Hit some really good songs and always who was that sort of an inadvertent audition. I mean you gotta wonder what lent option. She said that she was there and they had singing. Some prerecorded tracks at a certain point like weather. That's what's happening right now now they. They denied that that whole thing happened. But once again you keep despicably spouse. They had definitely auditioned mitch malloy and had actually written and recorded one song with him. He said in multiple Subsequent interviews that the ill cited as you'll same just a minute appearance with ralph on the. Ama's gave him a gut feeling that he needed to bow out so we did the person who was chosen as the new lead singer. We'll get bama just a moment later. Said that he had already agreed to join the band before the video. Music awards as with a lot of things involving van halen. There is a lot of drama. And there's not many clear answers now. Dave certainly wanted back in the band. Sales of his solo album started out pretty solid edelman. Smile and skyscraper both went platinum. You nineteen ninety-one a little light enough barely got gold and nineteen ninety. Four's your filthy little mouth. Sold only sixty one thousand copies out a reunion would put him back in the spotlight that he so craved. And he said he legitimately loved the band and that he wanted to be backing but in that moment on the ama stage he commandeered the my can held forth instead of reading. The teleprompter eighty physically physically pulled him away from the microphone at one point and tell them to get on with the presentation. Dave then mug for the camera and hammed it up with eighty being noticeably uncomfortable as he did as beck came up to accept his award for best male video. Interesting backstage any immediately started. Deflecting questions about a reunion was dave referring to his upcoming hip replacement surgery and the fact that the ban was still auditioning singers to which dave interjected. Gloat won't find one better than me. So he's mad. Survey any and alex in a later interview with mtv news said that ralph cornered eighty backstage and said quote tonight. It's about me man. Not your effing hill. The two apparently almost came to blows with eddie clenching his fists before the two are separated. He said he told roth that he if he ever talk to him like that again. He better be wearing a cook. They said routes behavior was quote disrespectful to back in an interview with guitar world. Later that year. Eddie said quote. I thought he had changed but two minutes on stage and a half ass standing ovation and turned right back into the dave. I hate it. Who surprised i gotta say right for his part. Dave admits that the band had told him while in the studio working on the new songs for the greatest hits album that him being there. Doing that did not mean that he back in the band officially nor did indicate that he would be invited back in the future. He says he told them before. They amazed though that they didn't need to do the group appearance. If that wasn't going to be the end result he. Shortly thereafter circulated an open letter to the press which included a picture of him dressed in colonial gar writing with a quill by candlelight. Because why why wouldn't it sent. That letter said in part quote. I told edward edward at the time. I didn't think it was a good idea for the band to go to the vm. As half cop and that. I didn't want to imply by our presence that we were back. If it was just a quickie for old time sake. And so i apologize to my fans of supporters and to empty i was an unwitting participant in this deception. It sickens me. That the quote reunion saying on. Mtv was nothing more than a publicity stunt. If i'm guilty of anything. I'm guilty of denial. I wanted to believe just as much as anyone else to points to that. First of all. I know that this is not the only mtv reunion that had a similar tone to people said they were misled. There were other forces at play and second of all. I get the feeling that he just had a picture of himself. In colonial guard with quill and it was just convenient to use at that time. That does that just seemed like a good thing to drop in. Probably i'll use this one. Yes or perhaps that was his official. I'm writing an open letter to the press dictator. I just at ready to go. I've got to stop pictures myself. In colonial gore running with a quilt by candlelight. Drop it in here. And now the impression certainly was given from the appearance at the original lineup was back together. I certainly thought that was the case. Personally when i saw that and when i heard the two new songs on the greatest hits album Died singing but when it didn't happen it turned into a large-scale. Pr disaster for van. Halen all that came. All that came of the brief reunion was the two songs included on the greatest hits album. One of which we're gonna listen to right. Now here's a taste of what might have been had things worked out or had. They worked out as they were presented that night at the mice. This is dan halen with domin. Dave singing.

You can triggered several times so but it's so much easier to chest Flipper cart and flip it back. It's I think it's it's elegant and i. I like it a lot. I think we are all the same fish. The what the good things about the game. All the best spects okay. Now we talked quite a bit about about the game. And i could. I could ask you thousand more questions. Probably burt already. Quite a bit of time into this podcast so I would like to transition a little bit to to to your kickstarter phase and The whole distribution stuff so What were your first steps on on kickstarter. Did you start right away with your your main game. You mentioned the beginning. Something for one thousand copies also But i wasn't sure if this was a pre kickstarter oil kicks up campaign or how. How did you. How did you start to to build your crowd On kickstarter yet basically we started with Funding our company so we had the goal to go on kickstarter. And so we kind of brainstormed what we would need for this and Yeah kind of through the money together. A what we thought we would need with Kind of mission to say okay in the end. That might be wasted. Looks good on all your time and than we paid a artist to do the cars and We then decided. Because i have had this in james. Dick myers kickstarter book That we would do little pre-campaign or let's say we all 'cause ready for print more or less and Yeah i think two weeks before we had to sense over the company it was even a process to get there but it's so easy to print on companies because we didn't didn't know that before the so this story for self Then we.

"At some point we invited our colleagues to play with us Previously we had already played some prototypes at some prototypes types. And at some point or early in the process to be honest accent. Oh that's really cool on should probably or you should definitely publish this and redo it so. We found a company with a goal to gay stuff the game and yet we did so i printed of very small or very small two smaller print of one thousand copies in order to prepare the kickstarter and sent out some review copy since long than Kick start off the looks Version We were quite happy with the outcome because we basically did not think that many people would be interested in the game but in the end it was about one thousand five from dutch bekker's end. Yeah was that. We felt that it make sense to go on with the project and since then Two additional kickstarter campaigns with Two expansions and we also at some point go to government funding in order to do a digital prototype type of game and yet we are now bonus federal in germany with the some early version of it. We had the chance to even the up this prototype in into mvp Very reduced would call it. Slides maybe solo a version. That will be playable quite nicely in two months hopefully Because in the end of february we do our third kickstarter Combined star of expansion end this digital because we want to bring student digital edition To the bbc and also Once to get some money in order to further the game and of course want to check in this kickstarter if everything if enough interest in distribution if that sounds very interesting and to like an awesome over the last couple of years so far beyond do you want to tell the little business a little bit about about you and how you got into the into that business. Basically answered all from a question already. Yes so basically my johnny mike. Game design gianni. I guess started like the year. Two thousand when i was making some rpg maker project that were just pretty generic fantasy jay rpg types things just using the rpg mak- two thousand that came at the time and.

"Or it could also be Termination reason for the publisher if the kickstarter campaign isn't successful than either either one. The publisher all the Designer could turn it the contract Or if you On a specific stock. Also you could say Once that stock has been sold completely this is also reason when the rights should reverse to the designer and Let's say you have. I don't know Agreed on a certain number of units that need to be sold In a certain time period could also be reason to to terminate the contract so for example if the publisher failed to print at least i dunno one thousand copies of the game for A period of three. Yes another reason to turn the country could be that. The publisher fails to pay the compensation for the designer. So as you can be that can be a lot of reasons to terminate the contract. Even though i think in reality it doesn't happen too often It is a good thing to have them agreed on in the In the contract another question that can be Or should be in. The contract is how To handle sap licensing that happens when the publisher decides to stop license your game to another publisher who might help to Sal a local version Somewhere where the publisher has no footprint in the market and in that case That different ways of handling it for example it could be that the Designer receives a a percentage off the royalty that then the publisher gets from the sub publisher. So that should be agreed on It could be that just the same Rights apply to the international publisher. That you have agreed on Or it could be more specific than that But off time so i think maybe thirty to fifty percent or solve the contract Do not cover this topic at all. So y- just a just information something that you almost always see in the contract..

"Who is coming again is telling us to be ready for his second coming. Do you understand. If you want to share the gospel that time to do it is now if you want to be ready, you need to be ready now. If. You want to do God's work then you need to do it now there is no other alternative. This is why we are proclaiming the Gospel when the end time is near. This is why I have wanted. So eagerly to publish the book of sermons on Romans. It seems as if we worked for a long time to have the book of sermons on Romans published. Actually it didn't take very long. We have been able to distribute many Christian books took countless, domestic and foreign people because many of our mission workers have been involved and served sincerely and devotedly. We are also going to distribute approximately three thousand books to a Nigerian Co worker. A pastor from a mission organization in Nigeria asked, US many times for one hundred, thousand copies of our books. One hundred thousand copies of our books would fill up two of the forty long. Containers. A pastor from a mission organization in Nigeria acts US many times or one hundred, thousand copies of our books. One hundred thousand copies of our books would fill up two of the forty feet long containers. When we think about the population in that country, one, hundred thousand copies are not enough to deliver the Gospel to all these people. But since one person is requesting so many books we have to remember how profitable that would be for preaching the Gospel. So, we were going to send the re thousand of them initially. It might take a few years for one person to distribute all one hundred, thousand copies. Just throwing away one hundred, thousand copies of books to a garbage can may take a very long time. But this person said, he could do it. We thought he had a big heart and we decided to send him three thousand copies of the English version I. That is one thousand copies of each volumes one, two and three. then. We sent him more when the book of the sermons on Romans comes out. In the future we prayed that many people like that pastor would arise. We are going to send our books to anyone who wants to do God's work and ask please send me ten thousand copies of your books. I will distribute all of the books. We don't care whether they actually distribute the books or sell the books. Someone will receive what are these books and we'll hear the Gospel, and this is what we want. There was a person from the Philippines who randomly picked up one of our books from a garbage can and started reading. He sent us a message that he had received the remission of sins. People received the remission of sin through various means. I just want our books to reach the seekers and manifest the power of the gospel of water and the spirit to come alive through our book. "We have these Glenn Goldberg I'm Sorry Clinton cooled. Blend Gould radio place up her spills. German word for radio play and they're very abstract and complicated and weird. They were made for radio. They're wonderful. I wouldn't put the Goldberg variations up on Awebber much as I. Love that. But I love I love Gould playing them there's no way you know that they really fit into the archive and also it's a lot of money what I don't want to take money under those people's pockets. The other thing is should something. An obscure cultural artifact? Go back into print I'll take it down immediately because I want those little presses you know the people that are you know? Pumping out one thousand copies on on a high density vinyl of sound poetry or or abstract music electronic music. I want them to make that money as long as it's in circulation and available for reasonable price I'll take it down. Do you know if there's ever been a case where? A piece of art that you've archived hosted at Uber Web ended up being the sort of the source to last remaining source for something to go back into print or four. Family to have it. You. Know it's very interesting. I've been told. By experts in the field that there are many things on the web that are not available anywhere including. In the artist's own archive or Something like that. The Museum of modern. Arts Archive. ohga-weber ends up becoming some sort of a weird backup through its pirate. proclivities ends up being kind of a weird backup for for artists. Yes. I've had I've had sound artists, contact me. I had Marina Abramovic people contact me. To for for work that was up on Google that marina didn't even have a copy of. That's a big. You know she's a big star, right? So I think it's fair. You know again it's it's you know listen piracy is preservation. Anytime you're an artist and you get bootlegged. Yushu thank that person for carrying. Okay. Because most artists get nothing and if you are bootleg data such a sign that's somebody values your work enough to bootleg at that. That means that you have made it. You are a success. You know and I think you know as you mentioned, Uber Web is that you host in new build and if you were trying to build this collection, let's say as a youtube channel or any other different sorts of third party platforms as we call owned by somebody else. Right. You would be subject to somebody else's judgement as well and and most likely you would be taken out of that mediation right I. If you hosted something on Youtube and an alleged copyright owner somebody at least says they own the copyright in something. Puts out a notice to YouTube pretty much. That's the end of that right? It goes away and possibly depending on your relationship with your channel your penalized. For doing. So you know, and if you're somebody who makes money on Youtube you know you can lose the opportunity to continue. Making money by Youtube and. Youtube of course, is the arbiter. "And often several times a day and while most of us interact with only a tiny percentage of the posts of the People. We fall on social media. We have some level of engagement with just about every email in our inbox. Admittedly some emails get more attention than others but they rarely get missed altogether. And so here's his quote very short and sweet. If I sent an email that I'm showing up where your attention already exists. End Quote growls classes. Long it's long. It weighs in at more than ten hours. It has probably two and a half hours of an interview with Hugh Howey. So if you're a fan of the book wool definitely check it out. Because he's delightful. It's incredibly well. Spent time the content of this class is incredible. There are more hacks than could begin to include here as well as better explanations about many of the concepts and more than the ones. I've been able to touch on today. It also comes with a variety of resources downloadable resources that you get to take with you including the workshop and pain in workbook class presentation slides outreach tracking template which is an excel file along with an analytics tracking spreadsheet which is another. Excel spreadsheet. File The insiders Book Launch System which is another pdf and how he wrote the book guides and links to how he wrote. Slow your first one thousand copies. I would absolutely recommend this class to any writer as I said the days of simply writing and leaving the marketing and promotion of your books to agents and publishing houses are all gone. And if you're even contemplating going the indie publishing route this class is a must if you feel like you're more of a a book versus Class Person. My guess is you can get just about everything except the Hugh Howey interview out of the book. I haven't read the book yet. I know that he goes out of his way to share everything that he's got all the time. He holds nothing back so no matter how tim girl gets to you. He's going to give you everything he's got the way he explained it. In one of the various ways I and one of the various ways. I've seen him talk about. This is that he only has so many hours in a day to work with clients one on one and he sees the need for this as being so much wider than he can personally individually collaborate with individuals on. So what he's trying to do is get this out to as many people as possible he also has a podcast called the book launch show. I'll put the link to that in the show notes as well or you can search for it on this podcast platform that you're using right now. One hundred percent great. If you search for Tim Growl you're also GONNA see. He gets interviewed everywhere. So there's lots of opportunities to hear what he has to say like. I said last week's episode there are lots of.

Live which we've talked about before on other episodes and there will be information in the show notes about how to access creative live either by individual classes or getting masterpass. Those will be at the end. Okay jumping right into it. I've been meaning to get to Tim. Girls Book in class for Awhile in part. Because it's something I've heard so many times from variety of sources that if you wait to have a book to promote to start working on your author platform and networking. You're late to the game. Tim Gall is a noted expert in the field and he's been working with authors for about a decade along the way he's worked directly with authors at all stages of their careers from debut authors to authors at the top of the New York Times Wall Street Journal and Washington Post Bacillus and at one point. Five of his clients. Were on the New York Times bestseller list at the same time his own book. Your first one thousand copies launched strong hitting number one in all of its categories and selling thousands of copies read out of the gate at the core of marketing. Philosophy is to be relentlessly helpful and he is only too eager to share his hard won experience with as many writers as possible including through creative life. So three things number one you likely need to revisit your definitions of marketing and promotion. A large percentage of writers skew introverted. And so this only makes the topic much trickier adding in the overall response. That many of us feel towards the slick and smarmy approaches that. We've all been on the receiving end over the years and you have a situation where a lot of writers. Just don't WanNa go there but if you shift you're thinking you can not only avoid the smarmy oh techniques but also actually even enjoy marketing and promotion as a side note. This is important because the days of sort of just sitting in your villa and writing and turn it over to the publishing houses is all but dead all begun so it's a reality for a lot of us at the heart of growls. Flossy are two key concepts I you must think marketing as the opportunity to be helpful to your audience if you shift your things that you're constantly working on ways to address what your potential current readers might want or need. You'll also automatically generate opportunities to connect with them as people and not just as buyers so this alone can help you avoid the tedious and ineffective by my book by Book by my book by my book approach that so many authors. That didn't sort of do the work to set up their platform on the front end. Slide into also this is no time to let your inner critic ruled the roost. You must be to believe that your own work can entertain and comfort and challenge and inspire your readers. Otherwise just read it for yourself and stick it in a drawer but if you think that it can do those things for your readers than be a fan of it and be willing to put it out there because you're helping people otherwise if you can't embrace the second thing of being a fan of your own work no matter how adept you get marketing processing fees or no matter how nuanced and will intended year approaches are. You're not going to be able to actually promote anything because you won't be able to bring yourself to promote your own book. You'RE GONNA have to get comfortable with that part okay number. Two there are stages to marketing like everything else. You crawl before you walk before you run right so for starters. Start Your marketing efforts. Now this is a little bit like that Maxim the best time to plant a tree twenty years ago. The second best time is right now. So the best time to have begun. Your marketing efforts was at some point before now and the second best time is right now crawl suggest if you wait until you have a butcher promote you put yourself in a position where we have to work harder for fewer opportunities within the marketing process which he calls the connection system. There are three major components. The first is outreach. The second is content and the third is permission for a more in depth explanation. You can check out a site. There's a link on my show notes today for a quick thumbnail. Sketch copied directly from his web page. This is what I have directly quoting. What I saw over and over was that they had something working in each of these three categories outreach the act of moving people from not knowing you exist to knowing you exist content providing a way for people to get to know you and your writing and permission a way to stay in contact with people over the long run or sorry long-term if. I'm directly quoting okay. End Quote the third major point that I pulled from this class is that you need an email list. Tim Girl would say if you take only one thing away from this episode of the Ricky Rider show or his class or any of the things really. He wants to be this. He Hammers this point home. Dozens and dozens of times for starters. It's just about the only marketing tool that you have nearly complete control over facebook and twitter and Instagram pinterest and Amazon and Kobo and Barnes and noble and keep going down the list all of them have policies that can change and leave you without access to your audience so you got to have it also. Is that email is have a much higher return on your investment. He uses the results from one of his more famous clients. Daniel pink to drive home the point at one point. Pink had two hundred thousand social media followers and fifty thousand email subscribers. I know I'm jealous. I can't even get around it. But that's what it so. When they launched pinks newest book at that point they were able to track his sales results from their different campaigns targeting emails social media etc. So for every one book the pink sold through his social media efforts. He sold six books to campaigns that targeted his email list. You got to have an email list so this leads directly to the hack and according to Paul you need to make peace with your popup you gotta have a pop up on your website that invites visitors to sign up for email list. He suggests you have it. Appear within twenty to thirty seconds after they arrive at your website and that you adjust setting so that once. They've signed up. They don't see the pop up again for the sign up. You'll also want to make sure there's additional opportunities scattered throughout your website for visitors to sign up for your email list but definitely the pop up. He says we're all used to the pop up. Nobody gets mad about the pop up. It's no big deal. Have a pop up He says analytics on page visits social media lights etc mean squat. If you can't reach out to your future fans so pop-up newsletter email list He recommends using pop up domination.

"But it also says something about how you know, streaming has dominated hip hop in such a forceful way in the past few years, and it is such like a non issue. It's like something that hip hop fans. Don't even really think about like seems like like they don't even buy album so much. It's just how they listen now. Yeah. But that doesn't mean that this is the top selling album of the week the top selling album of the week is actually lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's star is born soundtrack, and it sold Twenty-one thousand copies this week. So the top selling album still sold twenty one thousand copies, which is still obviously. A small number in the grand scheme of things. But the most popular album of the week a book, he's album only sold a thousand copies. So you know, the times they are well a change in. Moving on hit songwriter and producer. Benny Blanco hits the top ten on the hot one hundred for the first time as an artist with east side, the track features housi- and Khalid on vocals now Blanco has written and or produced more than fifty hits on the hot one hundred for other acts. But this is just the second time. He's charted as he credited artist on a song. And as we already mentioned this is first time visiting the top ten as an artist. Katie. Do you want to guess how many top ten's he's now earned as a songwriter? Well, I just feel like a lot of in songs. True there. Yeah. My guess would be fifteen twenty seven. Kind of a few. I know. Yeah. Yeah. I would like to have any Blanco's money or talent for that matter. And you know, he's actually produced twenty six top ten's. Now, he didn't necessarily produce every song. He wrote hints the difference in totals, for example. He co wrote maroon five's top ten hit animals, but he did actually produce it. Conversely, all twenty six of the top ten that he produced. He also had a writing credit on among the songs. He's written include a bevy of number ones, including catch us tick tock, Katy Perry's California Gurls. Maroon five's moves like Jagger Riyan as diamonds Justin bieber's love yourself. It's kind of overwhelming the hit making power that Mr. Blanco has fun facts. And I I sort of mentioned this obliquely on east side. Benny Blanco doesn't have any vocals, though, he is credited as. The artist it's kind of like a Mark Ronson. I guess so it's kind of like Ronson or like, you know, in a weird tential thing like a DJ Calot sort of thing. I mean, obviously, the difference has been Blanco Neo really has a hand. And you know, the instrumentation and grandson is probably the good analogy. Because like he he created this whole song and then had vocalists saying on it right, Jake. How Calot isn't exactly the the best kind of parallel there? But you know, it's in the same sort of world ish. But yeah, that's that's it for the amazing chart. News this week. Let's move onto some news over from billboard dot com. Including the biggest news.

"On her. After the whole. When she tried to prove that she was a native American. That's a mild Kerry. Don't care minor. We've got a major constitutional crisis happening right now. And I'll take any of the good guys, however flawed. Carries right? I'm waiting. I'm reserving, Joel. I mean, what is the point of speculating now, exactly? So wait to earn. Let's see university of Utah agreed to pay Joe Biden one hundred thousand dollars to speak now. But he, but then Biden said he heard that the money would come from the state of Utah. That's university money, and he said, well, no, no. Then I won't I know. That's according to the New York Times, which used public records request to get a copy of the us contract with Biden for a story that explores how the former vice president is preparing for a run for president in twenty twenty the contract negotiated through Creative Artists Agency also require the university to fly him and his aides to Salt Lake on a private plane at a cost of ten thousand dollars by one thousand copies of Biden's most recent book to give to the audience and agree not to use the word former before vice president Joe in social media. While in Utah, Biden didn't bring up a presidential campaign, nor was he asked about it. Instead, he talked about his upbringing is entrance into politics and the twenty fifteen death of his son beau. So did he not get paid anything? Then he turned it down. And so it was just they just had to get him. Here is he is advisors decided it would not be appropriate to take one hundred thousand dollars in taxpayer money to speak to students at the university of Utah. Good for him. So they didn't take it. I think they did. I think I'm here on that. But he he they said now, you know, we're speaking to the students it's not appropriate.
