Texas shooter's 'RWDS' patch linked to far-right extremists

"Authorities have not said what they believe might have motivated a man to shoot and kill 8 people at a Dallas area mall over the weekend, but one police official suggests that the shooter may have embraced the views of far right extremists. An official who wants to remain anonymous tells The Associated Press that social media accounts believed to have been used by 33 year old Mauricio Garcia appeared to have expressed an interest in white supremacist and neo Nazi views, Garcia was wearing a patch that read R wds short for right wing death squad. It's a phrase that has been embraced in recent years by far right extremists who glorify violence against their political enemies, one group that has adopted the term is the Proud Boys, smaller groups that participated in the white nationalist unite the right rally in Charlottesville Virginia in August 2017 were named right-wing death squad, Garcia, who opened fire at the mall on Saturday, was killed by a police officer. "Oh no. Yeah. Wow, that's serious stuff. You can do some time for that. Oh, he's been he's been arrested and charged with making an intentional threat of an act of violence. Against the school, employees and students, and if he's found guilty, it's a misdemeanor not a felony, but if he's found guilty, he's facing as much as a full year imprison. It all began, it all began in early February when a school employee found a note in Paul Jacobs classroom dozens of cops descended on hazel park junior high, bringing ten bombs sniffing highly trained canine dogs to search for explosives. And they didn't find any. But law enforcement, pretty good radar, and they began to suspect that mister Jacobs, the social studies teacher, might have something to do with it, so they launched an investigation and according to the Detroit news paper, mister Jacobs had been aware of the note, but it failed to report seeing it, and then the investigation took a funny turn, not only did mister Jacobs seen the note, and they said, although we don't have any evidence, one way or the other, if he wrote it, law enforcement said he was seen placing it on the desk by a door between classes when no students were around. He planned at the note allegedly in hopes of getting a day off. No one was harmed, but the children were scared because threats that happened in schools are traumatizing for kids. Right. And one police official said, you never get numb to that. And so everybody, it ended well, you know, it was not real. It was a hoax. I saw the I saw the interview with mister Jacobs. He says, yeah, I'm getting a year in jail, but you know what? That's better than having to deal with these middle schoolers. I'm looking forward to it. And you almost think he would be, right? So I just have such admiration. If you're driving in to teach middle schoolers, God bless you. Here's the problem is that you have a lot of copycats, so fake threats against schools are really common in Michigan right now. Right before mister Jacobs, the social studies teacher, faked his bomb scare, almost 6 schools across the state, got threatening phone calls that were also later revealed to be fake. You just can't. I mean, we don't live in a time where you can do that. So they bonded them out and now he's looking at potentially a year in prison, which you're right will be a day off from teaching middle school. And that, that is morons in the news. Coming up, coming up, we're going to throw it way back for throwback Thursday, happy gateway to the weekend with comedian Jeff Foxworthy and an exciting round of true crime time. Okay, this is real Black Mirror, but tell me if you would be interested in an app that would allow you to relive a memory in 3D over and over again. Here's how it works. The developer is the company list, the app is called immersive memories and with it, you film a video of some everyday moment. You playing with your baby or your puppy, you and your person having a picnic or a glass of wine together, the app uses the sensors that are baked into newer smartphones to capture all of the information you need to turn the video into a 3D, then you can revisit that home moment in three dimensions inside a VR headset. Go back in time and you relive that memory, that video, but this time in a fully immersive way. As though it doesn't happen to you again. I think that'd be cool, yeah. Yeah. You'd have to really be aware that this seems to be a moment that needs to be captured, I guess. But yeah, that'd be very cool. I mean, if you were at, if you were at a ball game and your favorite player was about to retire or something like that, and you know this is the last that bat, and you want to relive that. Yeah, I could see that. Or as they're saying with a child, certainly, first time a baby's walking or one of the first times, that would be a sweet thing to be able to do again and again. Yeah. If you're a Harry Potter fan, remember the scene where Harry uses the pensieve. It's this magical bowl that allows you to go inside a memory. He goes inside albus Dumbledore's memory. This is kind of like that. It's as close to a real pensive as we can get. So it's new technology combined with old technology and it all works via your smartphone. What a time to be alive. I'll tell you what? Yeah, that's right. So it's a little bit spooky. You know, and it's a little bit Black Mirror, a little bit dystopian, but it's also pretty cool. You can get on the wait list to grab the app on wisps, website, which is west wi T labs dot com. And you can join the wait list for when they release this out of beta to the public. And I don't understand their grace and favor homes and their 75 years. I don't understand anything about their real estate, but I think that for King Charles, and every time I say that, all my brain does is fill up with images of spaniels. But I think that for king, I'm just being honest, 'cause I knit with, but I think that for King Charles to evict Harry and Meghan from frogmore cottage, which was a gift to them by the late queen, which they paid $3.2 million of their money to renovate. I think bouncing them and giving it to Prince Andrew, his royal perversion. Is a really, really ugly and stupid move. Thoughts? I didn't know. I didn't know that was happening. We just happened. It's just happening, yeah. So they've been a bit boy that if I dropped three and a half, I don't care how rich I was three and a half $1 million on renovations and have to go to my wife and say, my brother is throwing us out. Son. Man, that seems harsh, especially when you're giving it to Andrew, who is now a bottom he's below the bottom of the barrel as far as the British public is concerned. And I think, too, so here's the deal. And all of this, of course, is unconfirmed because the royals do not explain, nor do they complain, but this was Harry and Meghan's home in the UK. And if Charles bounces them and gives it to Andrew, Harry and Meghan really can not come back to even visit. They won't have anywhere to stay and because of the security concerns, they can't go to the courtyard by Marriott near Hyde Park. They, I mean, I think we all know that that can't happen. And if you want to make, like, I've read prince Harry's book. And if you've actually read prince Harry's book, not the press coverage of prince Harry's book. If you actually read the book, you're going to come away with a pit in your stomach of sorrow for the life that this
