Tiffany Cross Accuses Kyrsten Sinema of Upholding White Supremacy

"And meanwhile, over on investment behi that I watched that you don't have to, the Arizona senator was described by, I think it was at CNN. It was probably the worst thing you can be described as a Democrat, one of the graphics described her excuse me as a Republican. She's a Democrat. Here's what MSNBC has Tiffany cross said Tiffany cross said about Christian cinema. Yeah, you know, this is an interesting challenge, Angela, because look, cinema is a Democrat, but she is in many ways upholding white supremacy. You and I both know what the filibuster was originally used for. Take a listen. Actually, the filibuster was not originally used for that, but we'll get into that a little bit later on. Some remark that she made this week and then we'll talk about it. When one party needs only negotiate with itself, policy will inextricably be pushed from the middle towards the extremes. And I understand. There's some on both sides of the aisle. I prefer that outcome. But I do not.

Who Is Jim Hanson, President of Security Studies Group?

"But let's start at the beginning because this is what we do with all our long form guests. So tell them who is Jim Hanson. What is he done and how did he get to be the head of this organization? Wow. The real way I got to be it was I went to the university of Wisconsin Madison as a young 18 year old back when UW mad city was the number one party school in America as rated. And I got serious number one. This is number one by Playboy magazine. They rated UW max city number one. I took a bunch of classes. I took Hebrew because I was thinking about joining the IDF. I took astronomy to stop that. Okay, so can you just explain that? Why are we going to join these red defense forces? Because of entebbe. Is the greatest commando raid? Are you circumcised? Yeah. And I mean how to speak the alphabet? I had a body in my unit in the British intelligence reserves, went to serve with the what do they call them multinational for MFR? The MFA in the Sinai. And he fell in love with Israeli. I wanted to. 8 32, you had to get circumcised. Ouch. Don't know, please don't go there. Okay, so Hebrew I'm taking tags I'm doing that. I'm thinking about all those things. But top party school in the country. I got 5 incompletes. That's impressive. My dad was not impressed. Who is the Vietnam vet and West Point grad? No way. Yeah, to two tours of Vietnam. So he got the envelope and he opens it up and he looks at it and looks at me and looks at it again and looks at me. Crumples it up, throws it in the fireplace and says, you need to find a place to live and a job because I'm not paying for school anymore. So you out. I kicked me out and said, you might want to consider joining the army because they can't fire your raising butt. So are you a good joke? That kicks you out and joined the army. That is a good story. It's a great one. It should be pretty commercial because after that, things

Election Integrity and the Courts

"Good day, Charlie. Hello. I agree with you completely that voting is the top priority for the Democrats. They want federal elections so they can stay in power and have a one party system forever. They know that if they don't have this, they could lose a lot of elections over the years. I thought this was interesting. They fought hard for HR one, but it ended too easily, which I also found interesting. Why did they not push harder on it? They just let it go because it just makes sense to come back to it when people aren't paying attention. Very, very wise. It is a smoke and mirrors game if you think of it. Now my question to you is this the U.S. Constitution says the states oversee the handling of elections and electors. Say this gets passed. Can't the courts take it down since it goes against the constitution. Theoretically yes, but the courts have ruled unpredictably on issues especially recently. The courts need to be the absolute worst case scenario and even then you know you're rolling the dice of something gets in front of the courts. If we, if we go all in on just a court driven strategy, the more fooling ourselves as if we actually wanted a feat bad legislation and put good legislation. And one of the best examples of this and many of you remember, was John Roberts and his betrayal on ObamaCare. ObamaCare was basically dead on arrival ObamaCare was unlife support. Under the Obama regime, ObamaCare was not going to be ruled constitutional. Until John Roberts, in a very surprising turn of events and development out of nowhere said, you know what? Actually, it's a tax.

"Found your problem. You're on the wrong side of the road. I was on the right side of the road. I was on the right side of the road, so, you know, whatever side of the road I'm driving on is the correct way. I am the player in the matrix, not the NPCs. This isn't my footage. But yeah, no, I am so excited to see this just everything the detail in the world is so phenomenal. I can't wait to see if things like the games take advantage of unreal 5 and just what we get out of it this generation. Yeah, toda as you were saying earlier with a couple of games we were talking about. Like, we're just at the start, no one's taken full advantage of these consoles, and we're getting new engines like this. So as they get to learn all this stuff, we're going to get toward the really, really cool looking and I think feeling next gen stuff that we all want to see. I really need to go jump into this. But yeah, thank you. Thank you for bringing that one up. And thank you all for joining me for this episode. I think that largely wraps us up does before we leave does anyone have anything that they want to plug anything going up on IGN either an hour over the holiday that you want to make sure people check out that you can talk about I mean either he plug it earlier the matrix thing that I'll be at for this weekend. But that's pretty much it for me. Mark. Yeah, we have one final episode of dessert E to speed runs goes live this Saturday. It's more death's door. Everybody. Big indie game that people love. It's a fun episode. I largely had them turn down because I'm going to play the game over the holiday break and I don't want to just get spoiled on it. So I was like, yep, the levels are going and I can kinda hear them. I don't want to actually hear what they're saying. So maybe it's a fun episode, maybe it's all. We'll see. And then we'll be back in the new year for more devs react. Yay. Nice. Matt, anything on your end from the new side of things? I have Spider-Man tickets on Thursday. Yes. I can not wait. I've gone basically Twitter blackout because it's like the reviews are from no way home are pouring in and I'm like with an pouring out. I don't want to see this stuff. I haven't muted anything. The dangerously. I'm living dangerously. Let's see what happens. If he dies, he dies. I didn't read our review. I saw the score we gave it, but I didn't read the review, and I just, I'm going to watch it tomorrow, so I'm like, I'm just going to watch it. Then I'll go. I'm going to Mark I'm going to probably suggest you don't look at the comments of this episode because if we have just said we don't know any of the spoilers. That is how the Internet works. Speaking of comments, I will plug two of our people on Twitter that responded to one of your posts or no around stuff. So we have bingo skank at teela tech. I don't know if that was allowed, but it is, it's there now. I would like for them to rerelease persona 5 royal for any reason just so they can make some sick persona plates when talking about we were talking about the plates. And I figured you would love that. That's the only reason I would love someone else on a plate. Yeah. Yeah. And then for my non work related projects that I don't know if I can talk about on this show. And then for another topic we talked about around the plates as well. Tim bob Wii at lunchbox underscore Inc that's what I've been theorizing for a while. Really special plates to fit the console instead of collector's edition consoles. So yeah, we got a few people in the audience that are agreeing with this already. Thank you guys for submitting some theories and hype things another suggestions and thoughts and other words. Totally. And as we were saying last week, we want to obviously continue to involve you all in the show next year. So again, please write in to beyond it IGN dot com with your memory card stories of your PlayStation gaming history that you want to share those on the show, subject line memory card for those. Or if you have any memorable trophies that you've gone for, that you hated going for that you love going for any that you had a really great tip you wanted to share for those. You can also write into beyond at IG dot com with the subject line trophy tips, and we're gonna start making those a regular part of the show into next year. But otherwise, that's gonna wrap us up for this week's episode and this year. Podcast beyond. Jada Mark and Matt, thank you so much for joining me for this episode. Headlights. And nothing better to do. Thanks as always for that. That's stirring that stirring motion. And thank you to taio behind the scenes for making the show happen. And also even though he's not currently here, thank you to red for making the show happen throughout the year as well our regular producer and taya thank you so much for stepping in right before the holiday as well. And as always, thank you to everyone out there for listening for watching for supporting the show for writing in for commenting for telling us how silly we were about an opinion for letting us know your thoughts on some of the biggest news of the year. "Feige. He's like, I can't allow this, but he doesn't. Tom has all the power. But yeah. It's been fun to be Spider-Man, it's a brand new map, it's a brand new chapter, so I've been having fun there. And then yeah, I've just been kind of like jumping in between things because I am actually going to be without a game console for most of the holiday break. So I don't want to start a game and then not be able to play it for two weeks. So I haven't been playing much else. But that's a little bit of what we've been playing ahead of our holiday party. Next, can I add one more? Matt, you were playing, I think you were talking about the matrix demo, right? Were you playing? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Playing it or, you know, taking photo modes in it. I've been experiencing anything. All right, experiencing it. Yeah. It was cool. I actually, I helped out Destin with his preview for it, and he was talking about how he didn't know in the opening moments. What was real and what was generated on Unreal Engine. And I didn't see the experience yet when I was looking at over, but one that I got in. I was like, oh, yeah, this is like, I know what he means now. Yep, I was also playing that game where I'm like, is this Unreal Engine 5 Keanu or is this real Keanu, you know? One at the end when you get to just walk around the city and like drive and stuff like it's insane. Yeah. Yeah, I turned off all the traffic and I think the top speed I hit was like one 52. It was really tough. I still need to jump in. Oh, it's great. Every generation I'm like, how can they, how can they get better visuals in the next console? We're definitely hitting that feeling now, and then I saw this. I'm like, oh, they just lifted it again. So now what you're seeing on screen, you get to bring up a control menu and you can change the traffic and all that stuff and you're just running around for as long as you want, you can fly to kind of the camera comply. It's pretty insane. I love the fact that how they kind of showcase how the different polygons and everything for you can turn on these different filters to see how things are made. There's different plaques scattered around the world where you can go and see how things are made and there's also like little challenges and stuff like that that don't actually time you. There's one, it's like a highway loop. It's like Trinity can make the highway loop in under four minutes. Can you? And so that's when I turned off all traffic and tried to hit one 50, doing loops on the highway. But yeah, I really love this. I think it's so cool and it really shows what the next gen is going to be possible. What's going to be possible in the next generation with unreal 5? So much detail. This is an actual clip of me driving before I turned off the traffic. I found your problem. You're on the wrong side of the road. I was on the right side of the road. I was on the right side of the road, so, you know, whatever side of the road I'm driving on is the correct way. I am the player in the matrix, not the NPCs. This isn't my footage. But.

"Poor. That's like what it didn't have a development team of 200 people. I'm out. How dare you come out? It didn't have a half a $1 billion budget. How dare you? Waste my time. Even a game. No, it's good, right? It's always good, but yeah, I think Sony in particular could probably improve the most out of the three. Just today. Nintendo did an indie roll showcase, right? And that's a really helpful way to get Indies on the platform. Notice. Xbox has been flirting with the idea at Xbox on Twitch streams, which has happened to three times this past year, right? But like PlayStation doesn't really do anything like that. They're most recent state of play was all Indies. So that's right. That's like. But I think the state of play problem is larger because that show varies so much time and time like, at least when Nintendo you know when they're doing an indie world showcase what it's specifically targeting, whereas with a state of play, it's like, okay, well, they said it would focus on death loop, but I'm also hoping they reveal sly Cooper 5, because it's a PlayStation. And so like, it's something they need to figure out 'cause yeah, I agree with Matt, if it's ID at Xbox, you know it's Indies, and then yeah, today's nindi world showcase. Yeah. Where people were so mad at the most recent state of play at a they said it was gonna be Indies. But people see state of play state of play is also where they showed 16 minutes of horizon forbidden west, so. Yeah, definitely a branding problem that they need to solve. And even then, like, the most I think about sales opportunities with Sony. And the biggest one I always think about is golden week, which is something that you do every year. And that's always like, because I know, oh, there's a cool JRPG that's out right now. I can wait for a couple months for golden week to happen and then pick up a cool Japanese game from PlayStation. And that's kind of like the most like notable sales event that I associate with PlayStation is that there's a week of the year where a bunch of cool PlayStation Japanese games go on sale. But they're like, but it's not India related, you know? So it's Tony doesn't really have a strong indie brand, which is kind of weird for now because like the PS4 era early on, they were hard into Indies. Yeah, well, it seems to go in this rotation of things where it was like Xbox to Nintendo for a little bit to PlayStation back to Nintendo back to Xbox back to plate. It does sort of go in a cycle of who's supporting indie's the most. But you know, I totally agree. I think it's great to see this stuff behind the scenes and I do hope we see more of it come to fruition publicly as well. There are occasionally indie focused PlayStation sales, but they don't get the same sort of like fanfare that a golden week sale does. And I think even on the state of play bent, like PlayStation will, they have done a couple of times this year. They're like here are 6 cool indie games coming to PlayStation. And it's 6 different PlayStation blog posts doled out over like two and a half hours. And that doesn't have the same impact as a 20 minute sizzle reel hype show where it's like hearing the cool ones. And I think like those cost more to produce those are more intensive, yes, but I do think that is getting more eyes in front of games for switcher for Xbox with idea Xbox, then here are 5 blog posts for you to go read. And I kind of hope they start to lean into that. I will say like a huge shout out like credit where credits do, even as these changes were needed, I will say, regardless of what happens on the actual PlayStation store, if you want to know the best Indies to go play on PlayStation, you should be following shohei yoshida because obviously in his new indie roll like that man, so consistently is highlighting and promoting and spotlighting the cool Indies that are coming to PlayStation on his own personal account and has been excellent at doing that since his role shifted into focus on indie and partnerships in that way. And that's how devs react to speedrun upset ideas. Tweeting about them like perfect. Yeah, that's the way to go. But yeah, no, I hope we get to see more of this stuff front facing as well, but it's nice to hear that changes are happening behind the scenes obviously it's not a like everything's fixed. We're good to go, but it is a sign of hopefully progress over this generation that we'll see. But you know, speaking of both the indie games and the exclusively only $70 games that Matt wants to play. I do want to spend only plays those. I do want to jump a little bit into what we've been playing over the last few weeks and just kind of like what is on our radar as we head into our holiday breaks. And Jade, I'll start with you. What have you been up to playing recently? Oh, well, like I said, I just picked up kenna and finished it already. Was really fun experience. I definitely can kind of see when I were talking about it a couple of weeks back about hey, what about kenna? And you're like, can I was fine? And yeah, I feel like it was fine. I feel like it would have done so much better if it was a launch title for the PS5. I feel like it would have been received a lot better as the first kind of site of the PS5, not after seeing a few other things. But I really enjoy that's going to be the creators of this made a majoris mask short. And this is actually, I first knew of them. That's how they wrote the same. Yes. And so I was super excited for kind of leading up to launch, and then there's just.

"So I'm curious to see if we get more acquisitions in the coming years, but hopefully it just means a cadence of more awesome first party games is kind of my hope here at the end of the day. Any other closing thoughts before we move on? Yay for video games. How dare you? Here. What? Last thing I just want to mention on the news front was if you haven't read it, please go check out Rebecca from our news team's wonderful follow-up piece about Sony and its relationship with its indie partners. This was sort of a follow-up to a report that we had earlier this year. When was it? It feels like both weeks ago and years ago. Back in July, where the difference. It was months. Exactly. Where rev sort of broke down the frustrations that many indie devs have been having in terms of getting promotion and support from PlayStation sort of behind the scenes on the PlayStation store, things of that nature. And I really love this follow-up. I definitely go recommend you check out the full report of it. But essentially, Rebecca kind of broke down. Kind of the key issues were, you know, behind the scenes tools and forums and processes for getting your questions answered for getting support from Sony in the first place. Actual just communication issues of not really having great communication with those partners. And helping to find ways to get actual promotion on the PlayStation store in front of PlayStation players outside of I think it's in the article sort of the usual suspects. And so several people, including some of those that spoke to previously as well as a few others, did say that they have started to notice change. And progress behind the scenes. And obviously there are like foundational things it seems within the tools that PlayStation actually use to talk to and deal with indie partners that need updating and fixing. But they seem to be in communication more. It seems like people were saying, you know, support emails they put in, used to take weeks, if not months to get answers if they ever did get answers. Now often are getting answered within a couple days, they are noticing a bit more support on getting those games prominently on the PlayStation store. And we've even seen something I think this week with pray for the gods, which is a game that's been announced for PlayStation for a while. Got a surprise drop on PlayStation. It got like big showcases on PlayStations Twitter account several times. The PlayStation blog, the PlayStation store, at least for me, it was pretty well highlighted. You know, it seems like the issues are not a 100% fixed by any means, but it's really good to see this progress being made. I don't know if any of you had a chance to check out the article, but just curious. Yeah. Yeah, it seems that the biggest complaint is that steam just does it so well and they use algorithms to kind of, you know, curate lists where actual user engagement is what makes it where if there's like underground indie buzz about a game, people are checking that game out they're reviewing it and they're downloading it and their wish listing it and that will make steam automatically show it off more and there's often sales and stuff like that where like you mentioned earlier the usual suspects is kind of like PlayStation has this curated list of just like everybody loves X Games. So that's going to be on the indie spotlight, right? And it's going to be like, you know, you're just kind of like, all right, well, some of these smaller people, yeah, it's kind of the same problem a lot of industries have like Twitch, right? You go to twitch and if you make a brand new account, you're going to be shown the same ten accounts, right? Like the biggest, the ten biggest Twitch streamers. And you can have someone who's doing really, really cool things and they're averaging 20 viewers and so they just aren't pushed because they're not averaging ten 20,000 viewers that these battle Royale shooters, people are, you know, doing so, I definitely understand the frustration there that it's really hard to get noticed and so I'm glad that PlayStation is taking the necessary steps to show off because I play more indie games than I play regular games or triple-A games, so regular games. So I'm always happy to I'm always happy to learn about really cool ones and see them get more promotion. Yeah, I have a philosophy for me. Whenever there's like a sale on the PlayStation store and I see something that I want to like, I just recently picked up Kenneth because it was on sale and it's just when I had kind of overlooked throughout the year because of other stuff came out. But any time I pick up a technically an indie game. But I bought something else. I can't even remember right now. But anytime I buy something in a sale from like a big triple-A, I always go and look in the indie section and I buy some random indie title for like anywhere that's like three to ten bucks. I spend an extra three to ten bucks to support in any developer. And I play their game. I think the last one I played was like toran, which was this like this ico kind of like esque game. And it wasn't the best experience I played in 2021, but it was kind of a cool, just like way for me to experience something in these done. And so that's just something I do to support the indie developers out there because I know it's a hard time to get their game notice and I may not shout out every Indy one I play, but I try to. So yeah. Only games that cost $70. That's it. That's the only buy the big ones. Very.

"Though I don't have a record player. Let me tell you. We have a broken record player for years, but we keep buying vinyls instead of buying a working record player. So yeah, I feel like I love my record player. I get so much use out of that sucker. But yeah, continue. No, I was just pretty sure I have vinyls. I thought Matt was going further at that point. No, I just no. I've been lucky in that every place that I've moved in with my roommates. They have a record player. Oh nice. There you go. Very nice. But one day, I will be on my own. Sans record player. And box of finals that I can't play. I was gonna say dozens of vinyls and yeah, nothing to play them on. The saddest story since pair of baby shoes. Anyway, moving on from their PlayStation did have a little bit of extra news, kind of under the radar, but I do want to talk about it because I do think it's an interesting one to speak to this year. Late last week, PlayStation announced their 5th acquisition for the year. Of a studio known as Valkyrie entertainment, which will quote 8 in the development of key PlayStation studios franchises. Valkyrie entertainment is maybe not a name most people out there have heard. I think is probably not a wild thing to say. But they have worked with PlayStation in the past for quite some time. Most recently, they've been partnered and working with Sony Santa Monica, both on God of War 2018 and have been working with them on the development of God of War ragnarok. They've also worked across company lines. They worked with Microsoft on things like halo infinite for to motor sport 7 and other titles, both on console and PC. So they very much feel like a studio that's going to continue to aid and support other PlayStation studios in this case, which is sort of what we've seen with nix's as well, which was acquired earlier this year. A studio kind of most prominently known for PC ports and handling things there that they obviously do have in development or in-house developers who help the creation of games. But I thought this acquisition was really interesting because I'm curious what you all think of sort of PlayStation's total acquisition plan so far. As I said, this was the 5th studio they have acquired this year. Fire Sprite, blue point, house mark, nexus, and now Valkyrie. And nothing that they've acquired, there are some tremendous teams in there, but nothing they've acquired has been like, oh, we need to respond to the Bethesda acquisition, or we need to acquire studios in the same way that Xbox did when they acquired what was it. I think compulsion, the hellblade developers forgive me, I'm going on there. And ninja theory, thank you. I wish someone knew their name. But yeah, they acquired 6 names or 6 studios all at once, and then double fine within within a year. And then Bethesda a couple of years later, they very much were going for names to help bolster their first party studios. And like just to have games. To me, to me, this feels like PlayStation wants to make sure the teams that they have and the teams that they know are working well, have all the support they can while also still introducing some new smaller teams into the mix. But I'm curious what you all think about this because it is this isn't like an oh my God, they have bought the biggest teams in the world. Like I said, I think most people probably didn't even know about Valkyrie before this. Yeah, I think it's just gonna say so like there are two I would say they've acquired two big ones, right? They required they acquired blue point, which primarily made PlayStation games already, which they're famous for the remakes they make. Most recently, demon's souls, and then House Mark, which was basically full on PlayStation as well with PC versions of their game. I don't think we're gonna see that the Bethesda level, I guess Cinemax in this case would be is like, that's an acquisition I don't think we're going to see for a very long time. What an acquisition of that scale. The fact that they acquired a huge publisher that owns some of the most beloved studios of all time, like I just don't even know what PlayStation's version of that is. I think you nailed it when you say like, this is more on the level of like double fine. Like, hey, double find you're going to make games for Xbox now. We're going to be hands off. This is just your games are going to come to us. And that's kind of what it's kind of seems like with House marketing blue point. I would be interested if PlayStation really wanted to get into the game. What where they would look to? You know what I mean? Like that would have to be something of that level. My thing is I don't think they need to. Like the whole Bethesda acquisition was because Xbox needed games. They needed to bolster their first party where they had already has a bustling first party. And so PlayStation acquiring I think Valkyrie and nixes are the two that make the most sense to me and just to sort of give why I think this is the reasoning and you can all tell me if I'm crazy, but in the PS3 generation, even though that was a weird console developed for naughty dog had the output of the three uncharted games and the last of us, whereas on the PlayStation 4, they had uncharted four lost legacy which had been at least served as a DLC agree to something a little bit bigger. And then The Last of Us Part II at the very, very end. Like, and you know, even a company like sucker punch had a few infamous games in there and then had infamous second son at the very start and then ghost at the end. I feel like PlayStation wants those teams to be able to get back to a more like two to three year cadence rather than a four to 5 year cadence. Oh, you're working on halo right now. Damn it. Yeah. You don't have to worry. Yeah. That's all it makes sense. Yeah, I mean, you have to look at it like games are in the terms of scale and scope are only increasing. We're only getting bigger. Nobody has tapped the full potential of the PS5 yet, like, or the Xbox Series X for that matter. Nobody has tapped the full potential. So I look at this as Sony as future proofing their business model, like you're saying Jonathan to increase the cadence of those games. I think it's going to make these type of acquisitions make sense for Sony to do because this allows them to have the more core things focused on inside it insomnia..

GOP Leader McCarthy Spoke for More Than 8 Hours to Delay Passage of Spending Bill

"Kevin McCarthy to his great credit gave the longest speech in house history yesterday. Trying to create the public media drum beat to try to have people start to actually care that the House of Representatives is about to embark on the most radical unprecedented? Public domestic spending agenda in the history of our country. Let's play cut 88 Kevin McCarthy. Nobody elected Joe Biden to be FDR. But AOC said I did, cut 88. It's no secret that this bill is too extreme, too costly. And too liberal. Just a few weeks ago, congresswoman Abigail spanberger said nobody elected Joe Biden to be FDR. AOC interrupts him and says, I did. That's that's what colleges create self centered individuals who are miserable. It went on last night where House Democrats started heckling Kevin McCarthy and saying I can't wait mister speaker and tells them not to lower their mask or they will get the fine play cut 98. After one party rule in Washington, the changed by executive order, I can wait mister speaker. They can finish their conversation. You can finish. No, you can finish. Don't lower your mask. You'll get fined. You're gonna get fined. I'm just warning you. Gentlemen will suspend. Kevin knows he's gonna be speaker next

"Everything is falling apart. Katie mcfarland he's making jimmy. Carter looked like ronald reagan. Yeah and and here's what they're doing They're they're going to change the united states from a free market democracy to socialist country with no no public support for just a few race in congress because with the kind of debt spending. They're going to do they're going to have to have such an onerous taxes are taxes can be higher than taxes in china and that is a communist country so they're legislating us a socialist communist country and in the thing. I guess i'm just one of the most offended by is the border catastrophe. They know what they're doing. This is not some mistake. There are letting they know they can't win in two thousand and twenty two or two thousand twenty four. The american people are not behind the agenda. Then american people don't like what these guys are selling. So what are they doing. They're letting in millions and millions of american of illegal immigrants. They're placing them and positioning eum in red states and they're going to grant them citizenship. An amnesty so that those people can vote in two thousand twenty two in two thousand and twenty four and the biden administration the democrats for who they gonna vote for. They're gonna vote for the democrats because look. We gave them citizenship. Let them in. We're giving them all sorts of benefits so to me. It just subverting the whole notion of a constitutional elections and constitutional governance and democracy and free market capitalism. They plan to win. And there is a socialist america dominated by one party and one wing of that and they do it in a bare knuckled. Hardball manner they really do. They're right in our face. I saw senator. Is this what you feel? Is the appropriate? Well, you know the reality is this They are terrified of Gavin Newsom, or of Larry Elder. They are terrified of Larry Elder, which is why they're doing this in the first place. If they didn't have any concern about him, they would ignore him. "What do you see in the next ten years in direct response. We're going now. You know in my opinion. Just from what i'm seeing from the market as we speak like a more individualized approach for sure in terms of selling. You know obviously the changes with you know targeting and so forth with apple and so forth where you seeing like direct response going in the next ten years. Okay will some of the obvious stuff right like which like i i'll spend a few minutes. Everyone focused on stuff. That is less obvious So obviously data's going to be huge right. And i think that like some of those things that i did from two thousand seventeen to two thousand nine hundred ninety gora before we launched my thing. Right was I got gave the opportunity to look at enterprise level Ai tools that we haven't seen anything like in our world yet right And the which made me very aware very early on. Just how much like a is completely worthless about any data. And it's marginally better if it's someone else's data what really makes it valuable as your data about your customers and what they're doing right and unfortunately most entrepreneurs are not even capturing the first party data that they're entitled to for example like most people don't download all of their information from their ad accounts. And if you lose your account you lose all that data and that's gone forever goodbye right so you know first party. Data is going to be increasingly more important. That's one of the reasons why. I'm going down the road that i'm going. I need to know all that information myself about my customers. What their preferences are what. They're looking at. What turns them on what turns them off. I can't rely on a platform nor is it wise to rely on a platform. I mean the platforms are really out for themselves at the end of the

What Is a Data Broker?

"I just so we'll get to your report and fair peace and a bit. But i want to start with the most basic stuff here. So what is a data broker. Data broker is a company whose entire business model is secretly buying and sharing and selling data. So this data on americans this is data on people around the world and you may never have heard of these companies but the fact is that it's not just facebook or talked collecting information every time we interact with a website or a business a lot of cases they're actually than selling take further to these other entities and that's what a data broker is so they're not the the sites doing the collection themselves right. It's it's these places that aggregate and then sell data that's been collected elsewhere outright. Some data brokers have access to what they will call first party data so data they do in fact collect directly in oracle is a great example of a company that has spent millions of dollars buying up other companies that do directly get access to the data. But you're correct that. In a lot of cases with data brokers they are buying it from other companies they are licensing it from other companies different kinds of arrangements. But it's oftentimes not stuff they collect directly and that's part of their marketing pitch is that were not just getting data from one single platform but we're aggregating data across many different sources and packaging it together

"Do you think that the democrats are in trouble. It sure seems that way. Thanks so much ryan from louisiana. Wanna play a certain tape here that demonstrates this from msnbc cut one hundred sixteen. I think the democrats are in political turmoil right now. The january six narrative has completely fallen apart. Inflation is now kicking in job. Numbers are not what they should be. Kabul is an absolute mess mean. they can't get flights. Kabul americans are stranded. They are in a. They're in a very different difficult political position and there really is no way they could turn this around. I i mean. I shouldn't say it that way. But the plenty of tricks up their sleeve but the trends are going negative and they're supposed to hit their high water mark now and then. This is before all the attack ads. This is before you know trying to get rid of one party rule in washington. Dc listen to what msnbc has to say. Cut one hundred and sixteen. Oh it's just an exaggeration law and order racist bigoted. whatever. Eric adams ron's on protecting straits and police reform. He wins the bronx. He wins queens. He wins will staten island off anyone's brooklyn. He wins everything except for the sort of wealthier. Parts of manhattan and democrats have to understand. This is coming. And i don't know where mission control is on the democratic side. But somebody donnie needs to get that. And they need to start responding mission control for the democrats. That's a good question who actually is in charge. In some ways the zeitgeist spirit of the times is in charge. Sometimes it's the corporate donors sometimes. It's the actual shock troops alexandria cossio cortez and her group of rioters. That are kind of pushing forward. The democrat party. Who's in charge. No one with wisdom. That's for sure

"Part of today's is they in their defense in the story. It's hard sometimes when you never experienced all they had seen. Jesus do up to. This point was healed people. We will be sick. he'd halo. Somebody's laying there you know. They can't walk all of a sudden running around so they're only experiences. Were that So you know remember. We talked about how great abraham was because he reason to the resurrection. Obviously they weren't doing that because they thought the opportunity had been missed. And you're right. They didn't really listen to what he's sad. And let's see a reason to that joel. Hey the age old thought is other words death and people who the doubters in their mind. They still have not come up to grips. Jesus has destroyed he to share it and the humanity so the by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death that is the devil and free those who all their life. We're we're we're trapped right a because their fear of death they say. Well that's that's the end instead of the beginning right. Which is why the experience of lazarus's resurrection to your point or to the to pastor's boy is then what opened up the ass to say. Okay i got it now. So that's why she anointed is like in an s why he said you know she's just prepare literally our and she knew that he was gonna listen to hard concept to grasp for most us. However if you're really listen what he did here. When you're reading this you realize that they were asking for healing without being specific. Got my when it didn't happen. And he basically said. I love him so much that money giving the resurrection that went way beyond healing. Just thinking that this only happened to other times in the new testament where jesus reyes somebody from the you know. One of them was. He just touched the coffin in ago. What the woman. Yeah but just thinking about that because then all of a sudden i started thinking about all those times thinking well that shows too that he changes the day ed environment. You know that you find yourself in. It was almost like a different angle of giving. You hope. it's like he'll resurrect you but he can also just take whatever environment this creating death or that you think. And so that that's what are our realized that because think about it from lasers perspective. I mean you talking about bonus and a feeling of. Don't give her a again eat. Where am i ask after that sir about death anymore. Just he's just wasn't worried about it because and that's what i think the point. He was making his when you jumped john twelve. And you see mary down here. Porn out the perfume. What if you really weren't wasn't listening in this john eleven. She's got it now. She not only got what happened to her brother. She figured out because now she started looking in the future and she realized this is why he came jazz. I use their other words a proper understanding of what went on that day. In those few days proper understanding that would really help and he'll a mighty throng of individuals. Who live in the united states their greatest fear in what's motivating them with from the corona virus to whatever. Is there fear of death. Sure i mean they will pass. Fda you have do this you have to do this. The medical profession but all of this supersedes anything. The medical profession could ever do. I would say she's beyond. Get the right medicines. It'd be does this. And this and that now their he maleeha we think we can say and the cdc offers this and that and the other and the government's running and putting rules and regulations china. Keep you alive. Trying to keep you laugh. They slaughtered their own shield in but then turn around and act like they're concerned the really concerned they love animals and they somehow they still slaughter their own children..

"If you don't really think about that you're like what does that at all up gotta be glorified so the messenger goes back. What does he do. You gotta read between the lines. But what's he married. Martha we're good right. Jesus said were da. Didn't say that knows. It all said the cygnus well not end in death so a couple of days later he you know he keeps doing his ministry. And the disciples weren't listening because he said well he he need some sleep and everything will be i. And there's they started talking about is disciples replied will lord if he sleeps he will get better. Jesus had been speaking about his death but asaba start meant spiritual amid a natural sleep so once you see this difference in hearing. And they weren't getting it. Nobody was getting it so then so so then he told disciples. He tries to explain to them. Still not getting. So then verse. Seventeen his arrival. Jesus found that lazarus at already been in the team for four days. Look he missed the funeral. The graveside i mean he died. So now you're right. They're hot because they think he's asana god. They basically gave gave him a message. He gave a response and he's wrong well because they're looking at situation and it was really good point. They're like god gave the word he he. He spoke on it but the circumstances were not. They couldn't see how he was right. Well he he. He said he went janda. He's dead he's not here so that's a that's a key point because they weren't listening to what he said so martha twenty-one lower if you had been here my brother would not died so they're angry and he did this whole thing about why we get angry at guy which i thought was really good. Because he's like come on if you would admit it. There's been times in your life your anger god because what you read is not adding up with what's happening in your life and your mad so he's like you're like well i'm not gonna pray show you my or i'll go to church raw show late. I mean with these things you know. I mean 'cause you're angry. You're you're math. So so then it says but i know In verse twenty two that even now god will give you whatever you do. You said your brother will rise again in. Martha's well no hill rise again in the resurrection at the last day with any declares this you know. I am the resurrection and the life and you know the story eventually wheat. Why does he we even though he no. He knows he's gonna raising from the dead. Well his point was. He gave her the comfort in that statement. This cygnus will not end in death in basically what his point was we. We put a period after the war. Death is death is over and here. Jesus put a comma after death. Now this own you that you didn't get that if you trust him that's what he said. And so you know really. The whole point was sometimes in your list. And you look at the circumstances and you gotta find joy and trust from that water to the wilderness. And the and the persecutions that calm because you know look this. This same thing is going to happen to us at our resurrection. So there's two things kind of going here. You have your spiritual resurrection when you hear jesus and you die and you're buried and your as we went through rome and six in detail if you really believe that then you trust no matter what. The circumstances are your comment so his point. We want to heal them and we won't on our terms now we look at situation. We're like you know the one you love is sick. But i won't help now and if it doesn't work out like we wall..

"What you think because while you're there one of the things that if you if you ever want to say you listen to what jesus said. He's the model. And i said jesus said after the after the beatitudes the last little statement one of the last little statements. He said give the gift to the one who askew and do not do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you and i gave him a little update. Said i there's a redneck about a from me and his yard is littered with equipment all kinds of equipment. I said most to that equipment belongs to me. I said he didn't steal it. It's in his yard. I said he just forgot to bring it back. Said jesus said give the one who wanna barf him. What i had named walked out the door and some dude come marking up the that was in the audience. And he said he said jesus said loan ones. You wanna barf me. I said yeah. That's what he said he said. I i need twenty dollars. I'm i'm running low this week so i thought well he says braced and you said if i ask you for twenty he said. Dj said give it to me. I said i got my billfold out. I got to ten hannam to. That's what he said. i said. Look if you go drink this up with wine or whisky. I said it's new. I said plus when you buy something. I said you bring it back. I said you're gonna pay me back. He's pay per debate. You know so he must have twelve. He didn't click me. You said jesus say long. The ones who are on the sermon is kind of like our kids. You know when you're raising up. He was hearing you but it wasn't necessarily listening. There's a different and and my point is. That's what happens in sermons. Because he the guy was preaching. And he's i've had people come up so as best sermon you've ever braked and he's like well. That was probably the best time you ever listen. It's a two way street. I mean you can just come in there and let it go over your head or for some reason not participate so out of all the thousands of sermons that i've heard that you've heard if you made me get it down to the most memorable ones it'd be less than twenty but there's about twenty that i'll think by this was one of them. It was one of the twenty. And he's he's got another one inside the top twenty it's pretty which it 'cause he preached the last time i hardy movies that water to the wilderness and look. It wasn't like he come up with something. That was not there in the bobble but i just never thought about. Jesus has this moment. It's a holy spirit. He god gives him his identity there with when he said he didn't have to do that he did that for us. But he's like. This is my son whom i love and i'm well pleased. And i love the spiritual application of that to us when when we baptized of god declaring that we give the spirit. And that's where your identity comes from maine gods this my son or this my daughter and so it's like the greatest moment or or one of the greatest moments i guess the virgin birth and then this happening because he gets a spirit starts history in ministry and what's the next thing that happened forty days in the wilderness. Well that came in an accident. That's what happens to us when you find while the guy that wrote you. The letter of the day said he basically was saying. But i'm still addicted to porn. And i'm still. I'm not observing. I'm not deserving of being a son. God i'm too sinful he had. He was having a hard time realizing he was claim and he had a fresh start and he had imperishable seed in the spirit. "For anybody who is new to the podcast and hasn't read the hundreds to thousands of pages of regulations. Walk us through the cliff notes. Version of what. Those two pieces of regulations actually say. So they're both about disclosure to the consumer of data that's being collected about them. They're both about setting up infrastructure that allows the consumer to see that data setting up infrastructure that allows the consumer to have that data deleted. And that's kind of above all else the spirit of both of them by the way marketers. I'm sure shake their heads. The sort of ops people the way that all of that was decided by the governments that it had to be achieved. It's just huge infrastructure pains in the acids right so everybody went through that. Gdp are and a lot of the stuff that you had to go through on that side of things on the disclosure side of things was the same for ccpa where there's a big difference is gdp. Art is actually a consent for first party data collection on the internet policy. Meaning it's opt in period in order for anyone to collect data on a european citizen. You must have a first party. Opted to collect it to use it what that is simply not the case with. Ccpa in cpr in cpr is just like the second sort of evolution of cpa is not in optimum for data collection policy. It is opt out policy. The consumer has the option to opt out of you collecting their data. But it doesn't touch. This issue of optimal marketing does not touch this issue of opt in to sort of have my data shared. It doesn't touch that stuff at all so listening to what our service does which we basically pass our customers plain text emails of people that visited their website but didn't fill out a form. A very common reaction is while. How is that legal in the weeks. Explain that is legal. I can't spam sanderson people say well it's definitely not ccpa compliant well. It actually is if you make the appropriate privacy policy changes on your website for most people what they did to be compliant with gdp are suffices in by the way. I'm not a lawyer so this is not legal advice. But the biggest difference between the two and the biggest confusion. I see people making is the assumption that since gdp are is opt in in ccpa is the gdp are the us. We have to do the same things that we did for judy. Pr we may not have made the changes for for us audience. We have do the same things for our. Us partner website. It's just not true.

It's like how do we create an app. Or how do we create a private shopping experience for the you know those fanatics who want to buy the latest. You know you know. Jay z signed sneaker. Or something like that. It's like this is. This is building true value into the audience. Not just trying to take advantage of an influence or signing a piece of clothing or a you know a more private shopping experience. It's actually building in a platform that drew that delivers experiential value. And i. i just think that to me. That's the real goal here for any marketer. That's trying to create this kind of thing. Bbb to see what. Don't forget and you talk about this seemingly almost every episode but This is the race for first party. Data yay this. Corporations Collude With Democrats to Make a One-Party Political Machine

"Fact, there are too many corporations committed to the various Marx's critical theory, movements and the human resources training and hiring related practices promoting them. To list them. Lil Easing and author and Diversity Equity and Inclusion consultant writing at Harvard Business Review tells US corporate social justice is not a feel good approach that allows everyone to be heard. By nature. It won't result in initiatives that will make everyone happy. The first step that many companies have taken by publicly supporting black lives matter. The public statements and donations as an example of that. The company must decide that it is okay with losing business from certain groups say white supremacists or police department. Since taking money from these groups would run counter to its corporate social justice strategy. And these companies are occurring favor and colluding with the Democrat Party. Using their financial muscle to help create a one party political machine. The recent war on the Georgia Republican Legislature is a perfect example. Then they go on. To talk about, Of course, Big tech. What can be done about these assaults and our liberty families a country. I don't have all the answers. To begin with. I warned years ago, liberty and tyranny that we must become more engaged in our public matters. This will require new generation of activists largest number shrewder more articulate than before. To seek the blunt the status counter revolution. We must seize every opportunity to take back our opposite our institutions by running for office and so forth, I said. Given the urgency of the moment, even this is not enough.

"If unions are dying in the united states than someone forgot to tell washington labor leaders about their demise the state ranks fifth in the nation for union membership and that strength can translate into political power. In fact organized labor has helped democrats solidify one party rule in recent years and in turn unions have notched a series of legislative victories. Olympia correspondent austin jenkins reports in collaboration with the seattle times on the rising influence of unions. Right here in washington state. No further amendments. Look he was march of two thousand eighteen lawmakers in the washington house of representatives. We're about to debate one of the most contentious pieces of legislation of the year and goes substitute senate. Bill six one nine nine on it had to do with state funded homecare workers. These are people who bathe dress and feed elderly or disabled adults in their own homes. The legislation aimed to privatize this quasi-public workforce democrats don't usually push for privatization but state representative tana. Senn said in this case it would benefit the workers and their clients with this bill. We are reducing the paperwork so that we can increase care but that argument rang hollow for minority republicans. Who insisted the bill was about something else. Ensuring that homecare workers couldn't opt out of paying union. Dues this is nothing more than a payback to a union that was republican state representative. Joyce mcdonald getting gaveled down for impugning. The motives of the bill's supporters in the end house democrats passed the homecare bill without a single republican vote in fact. Republicans were so incensed. They refuse to vote on the bill. A move rarely seen that. Vote in two thousand. Eighteen sent a message. Democrats were back in control and olympia. After several years of divided control if the end of the two thousand eighteen session unions heralded the passage of bills that had previously been bottled up under split control. Equal pay voting rights prevailing wages and bargaining rights in the years since democrats have grown their majorities and continue to approve union backed legislation some of it high profile much of it. Well below the radar. I think one of the things that we're seeing is a real effort. A concerted effort to take advantage of the fact that the governor the senate and the house are all democrats at the moment. This is professor. Kim england directs the harry bridges center for labor studies at the university of washington. She says washington has bucked the national trend of declining union membership in large part because of the state's robust public sector and service worker unions..

Caller Asks for Advice on How to Explain the Truth to Liberal Neighbors

"In in liberal Chicago, Liberal Cook County liberal, little annoy, and I found it an uphill battle to Conveys logic and truth to my neighbors and friends and people predisposed to to the lives actually. How what? What advice would you offer? Uh, to me to be able to convey this, uh, convey the truth articulated. Well, listen. I would tell people look around you. You like what's happening to our city? Do you like What's happening to our schools where kids can't graduate? Knowing English and mathematics. That their test scores are at the bottom. That our schools are crime infested and these kids are stuck in these schools. Look around. You look, look at the danger. Look at the their areas of our city where we can't even travel. That are worse than Iraq and Afghanistan. We can't even travel, dozen people murdered 20 people murdered innocent human beings, little kids, their mothers, their fathers. You like what's going on in this city? Look at look at all the filth. Look at all the dirt. This isn't a functioning city. This isn't the way human beings are supposed to live. Lack of opportunity. The only opportunity to you have is if you get the hell out of the city. People don't have enough money to own their own property. They don't have jobs in these cities. You like what you see. But for half a century more than half a century Chicago has been run by one party. One party iron fisted rule. I don't give a damn what the color of the politicians are there, politicians And they have an ideology. And so I would say you like what you see. Or not. Well, why don't you try a little bit of liberty and a little bit of capitalism and a little bit of school choice

Rep. Banks Says Pelosi Must Answer Questions About Capitol Security

"Nancy pelosi has broken a few norms by kicking you off the kangaroo commission for the ridiculous january sixth thing what are you guys going to do exactly the kind of vengeance. It's necessary to deter this kind of norm destruction in the future. Well that's a great question for first and foremost where we're going to have a press conference here about a half an hour. The group that she or that that kevin mccarthy rather appointed to serve on the committee that she rejected as you said this has never happened before completely unprecedented in congressional history for the leader of one party to reject the appointments to a select committee from the other parties. So i suppose. I'll be an asterik in history when it comes to that but as far as the as far as the topic at hand the reason that nancy pelosi targeted a rejected me and jim jordan because we were beginning to ask the questions this she did not want this committee to head toward answering. What questions on am i talking about. Specifically about why. The united states capitol was vulnerable on january. Six to begin with when there was intelligence report three weeks before january six that told the told the capitol police that something was going to happen that day. Why why did the leadership of the capitol. Police failed to act on that intelligence. And and why didn't they do anything about it. But by the way when you look at the leadership structure of the united states capitol and the oversight of the of the united states capitol police. The speaker of the house says more authority than anybody. So all of this happened on nancy. Pelosi's watch and and those are the questions. Jim jordan and i started asking about about those vulnerabilities why nothing was done about it and those are questions. That clearly doesn't want to doesn't want to answer.

How Will the Cuban Government React to the Protests?

"Big question for me is sort of. How do you describe the cuban government right now to the view. What kind of government is it. I mean you hear. Words like dictatorship in authoritarian and his government. I mean you hear repression you hear even these reports of people getting detained and you see right. You go on social media and it's an obviously there's a lot of politicization about this topic and you really. It's really hard to navigate through those waters. So what's the best way to describe like the dissatisfaction with the government of cuba as you know as best as you can from the cuban people perspective you know. Language is tricky and this is not to evade the question. But i think that language choices often obscure some of the complexity of the analysis that that's required and that's not to sidestep the authoritarian practices that we've seen in the past couple of days fantasize that the fact that the cuban government is a one party state that doesn't allow other political parties are organized political opposition in a legal way. But i think you know there is this kind of tendency to sort of refer in an abstract way to a regime. Or sometimes you know. Nc state the system of certainly on the part of cubans on the island and in the diaspora on the one hand. Those words make a lot of sense because they are in part a result of the projection of the cuban state itself as simply kind of monolithic entity that is the representation of the people in speaks for the people with one voice. But just like the cuban people are not made up of one political strain of thought. There is diversity in the cuban government. You know whether you like it or not or think it's sufficient or not and i would say it's insufficient right. There are actions of the cuban government that are more pro economic reform less forum. I mean there doesn't seem to be however any kind of fraction government right now when it comes to maintaining one-party rule right and certainly people on the street. Many of them are just demanding. That right simply put

"But police officers being killed in a record number. So Lauren Underwood is a quintessential idiot. Go ahead. Reform is about. I think that we're muddling the issue here. This What we have seen in the spiking crime is not because the United States Congress is taking action to reform policing. No, no, no, they spike in crime is coming even before you act the spiking crime as a result of your party. Various city councils and mayors offices. Destroying your police force. The spike in crime as a result of left wing Democrat judges appointed and elected. Or letting career criminals, violent criminals out of jail. The spike in crime and particularly murder. Is taking place because Of Democrats, mayors and city councils and so forth controlled by one party. Uh, not wanting tough sentencing. In fact, they want bail reform, which has nothing to do with bell or reform. It's in the front door and out the back door. So these things have consequences. We're not talking about soft on crime when you embrace criminals. And when you reject law enforcement And when you play these critical race theory games it costs lives, and mostly it costs black people, their lives, and mostly it costs young black people, their lives, and mostly it costs young black men their lives, but it includes little babies and little girls and moms and dads, too. And until morons like Underwood get serious about what's going on in the cities and in this country, it's only going to get worse.

Biden Announces Tentative Infrastructure Compromise

"On a trillion dollar infrastructure package, which was a risky move because, like all hill compromises, it could easily fall apart. In fact, that was the first question from Reporter. Do you have sufficient democratic support both in the Senate and the House to move both on this bipartisan deal and on the reconciliation, the one party vote that the Democrats can do without any Republican votes to get more of the spending that the president wants. Biden was annoyed, he said. You always ask me these questions. Nobody knows for certain It's your job. But you know, it's not a reasonable question. Actually, it's a very reasonable question. Do you have the votes to make this happen? It was an echo, although much more good natured of what he did in Geneva when he challenged the reporter who Ask your confidence he could change Putin's behavior might also said he knows a lot more about how Congress works in any reporter there. "I just hope it changes some attitudes from from people because it just really. Burn. When the people just are wrote. wrote and they just by down and crawl, and they say get a test and it. What do you need a textbook and now why? Wasn't their story. They waited seven hours to get a test. And then what are they going to do with the task? It doesn't matter if even negative. We're GONNA. Call you positive and it's It's just way too much. Government and too much dependency in a wouldn't be so bad if they were doing it and everybody recognized this and just dismissed them. That's what finally happened in the Soviet system they. Everybody knew what they were doing, so nobody believed what they say, but we still have. People easily terrified from the and yet even with my negative impression of all this I still give a lot of people pass because I'd say boy I say. People are getting sick. People can die from this and you guys are just you know endangering the world doing this, but. There's a lot more to it than simply saying that you have to lie to us about what's going on and you. We can worry about the virus and the danger of it, but in a proper perspective, but to turn it around and say it needs to do. It requires us to do something we have never done before, and that's the lockdown and now stories. You read locked down, so we're GONNA. Kill more people than the corona virus. It may have already happened, but it's. It's just once again. How are these problems? saw is really by politicians and bureaucrats and money grabbers and all these things. Things, and then there will be an incentive to make things worse and use it for political reasons, so is a mess and I think as an outgrowth of the fact that our country is bankrupt. You know I wrote a little article. I'll go bankrupt financially. We're bankrupt and morally bankrupt, so this invites this and I think the disgust with what's happening invites the extremists from to get in office, and and they're there and who knows I think this is an important election not that I think Dick..

"That's the worst thing from from his opinion that we should allow the president to do. But constitutionally he does have the right especially, even if it's a declared war. You can't tell the president how to maneuver the troops. I mean like after World War Two broke out simultaneously with Japan and Europe. And since it's been considered, an is a real war. They can't be micromanaged. They you know. Somebody's GonNa have to make a decision. If you want to win the war in this case, though it's so different and we've already said this this. This is one of the flaws in what they're trying to do. Manage Award. That's not a war and doing it without a blatant violation of the constitution. Has a footnote I. Don't know if you noticed this I wonder what the media's GonNa, make of it. Did you see the Jeff Sessions was defeated? Stay against trump backed candidate and. Sessions is really key in the beginning of the Russia gate. He's the one who recused himself from it for very dubious reasons so I don't know what it means, but it's interesting, but so we'll we'll. We'll follow this and we'll see what happens We'll see if trump's able to I. even if he wants to you, but what's over to something? We've been covering for a while. "You're disappointed, because of course you're against the surge in oh seven, you're against the war in the beginning and sometimes our our friends especially when the Democrats held Congress, we had a lot of allies in the Democratic Party against the war in sometimes, they would come up with a resolution that was probably a well meaning, but it tended. Tended to go overboard in to push the president in even though you don't like strong president beyond the constitution, but within his constitutional balance, and so we would try to tinker with say hey, can you change this a little bit and and make it more about the appropriation funds, the authorization of funds, which is what Congress has the power, and so this is this is all the bad things back then that you would have rejected now coming back into bipartisan way. Isn't it interesting? We were working on bipartisan? Group to prevent this from happening and going in now they've turned around. Say Oh, we're bipartisan. We're GONNA work with the Democrats and the Democrats going to do this to keep them there. You know so. That's that's their big purpose, but it's also I think there's a deep state influence in this about where we are in the deep state, certainly wouldn't agree with trump on his foreign policy and I, it's it's something that I think is is very important because it has to do with our empire, you know and how you? Protect the empire. An Empire means protecting the reserve currency of the world protecting enough power to issue sanctions so this this whole thing since they'll never be satisfied. No matter what trump would do, the only thing they can do is what they tried to do. And when they tried to prevent his election and this. This is the they they need to power. It's a power struggle, and that's why this election is. A IS A. A big deal and it can get. I imagine it's going to get pretty nasty before it's all over so but the unfortunate thing, though if you want to be a little bit cynical, you might say yeah, yeah, really, what does it matter? It seems like even if even the trump's versus the pollution all this the deep state. Still you know pretty powerful long-term. The policies don't change even though right here. This looks like. They're not faking disagreement. I think they honestly one to. It's more more power than bringing US home. You know or or keeping or keeping in those places so and it certainly is never a money policy. They. Way They they've pass out money. They're not gonNA. Take any money away from the from the. Military Industrial Complex, and there's a bill coming up. The DA is up and they're trying to put this in here in whether they put something in with teeth. Or whether they just make public relations statement that we don't like what trump's doing remains to be seen remains to be seen, and we're not. Trump is no peace, nick. But I imagine we'll hear some whispers come out GD, and quote, he added, quote, PlayStation or PS five Deb kits are out there. I've heard positive things about it. But why because like six months from now, maybe even a year, depending on that's actually we're gonna be so sick of talking about rumors PlayStation five, and what it can do what it can't do in. Like, I remember when we got excited for Orbis. I remember when we got excited. I it's funny. They bring a Joe brings up GDP here. Because of course, you see the games developer conference here in San Francisco and Marsh every year spring. I remember when that was the first time the PlayStation, four pro news had leaked right where somebody had overheard another developer talking in line for a sandwich, or whatever and started putting all together. But eventually we just get the point of like just give me the damn thing. Show me the real thing. Explain what PlayStation five is. And that's I'm not there yet. But I feel like I want your opinion on this. I feel like next isn't going to be boring, but I just. I don't think it's going to be. It's not gonna be this giant step forward. Right.
