"Let me just start. Generally how was three and summer fest and and giving people a bigger look at tribes as a both fantastic events for us In the sense that we had been kind of holding back a bit that showing what was going to be become. And we've been working on this game for so many years almost four years now rides from from the the first pitch indian to now almost releasing on july twenty seven on pcp five and just four and just having that ability and that platform to really showcase the game to all of these newcomers were just. Yeah just great. Fantastic opportunity finally get it out on in the wide and the north side. Finally being able to talk a bit more about it as well. You don't know that always seems like such a unique feeling win. The game was largely secretive or needle holding back details for the full reveal than all of a sudden. These vast amount of people are getting a bigger look at at. What is that. Like as one of the creators to have such a big audience can a feast their eyes upon it. Yeah there were. I mean hundreds of thousands of people. I think we went beyond the million on on the show So it's it's fun but it's also kind of scary of course is like showing your baby that you've been creating for the last four years also You're like my baby like please. Don't be too hard and overall the community has been who has been amazing with us Very or issued toxic comments which is always always repeating to read. People are enthusiastic can see the value of what we're creating and kind of genre we're trying to build and the response has been phenomenal. So we're just a super eager to keep on rolling with marketing campaign and finally released the gaming in less than a month now my god. I'm getting there.

Ladies and gentlemen, there's just still figuring out things about dark matter in the universe that's not even settled. But everybody was sure lockdowns masts and social distancing that would work despite the fact it didn't So how did fat you go from a guy who is reasonable advice on H one n one. He wanted being apart. He wanted to be the prom. King threw out the first pitch at the Nationals. Remember that disaster? Just a bit outside. If we had, Bob, you could remember Ricky Vulture. That's the bit out. It was worse than Ricky Vonn. So if you get the reference That you want to be the cool kid. He wanted to be the prom King. So instead of going up against an unpopular at least in the media president And instead of going up against the media, taking a principled stand, Maybe Donald Trump's right. Maybe we should hold off on universal masking at universal masking, and maybe we should re evaluate a lot of these lockdowns. You know, Trump was

"The oakland athletics are rolling. But any winning streak usually contains at least one comeback. Maybe two or yesterday the as pull up one of the best comebacks. You're going to see this year against the twins. The two sides hammered away at each other for nine innings. Lead changing hands repeatedly. "one pitch" Discussed on Bolts from the Blue
"So your favorite podcast APP to be sure you don't miss a single episode. But anyway going along with that Let's just go over injury report. Let's see. So as far as guys practicing not practicing today. trae Turner Brian. Balogh. In Mike, Williams will not practice today Mike Williams has a hamstring injury. We were worried that potentially his former shoulder injury that kept him out towards the training camp was going to be an issue or maybe was flared up again no Anthony Lynn said it's nothing with the shoulder. It's just a hamstring deal. Turnaround Blaga. As he remember trae Turner was. told to us by Anthony Land that Turner was going to play this past weekend and he did it. He just said he just wasn't ready something came up. They weren't gonNA play if he wasn't ready. Okay. So he was out Brian Balogh a started again missed most of the game because I believe a knee injury. He. He isn't gonNA play or isn't GonNa Practice Today Turner isn't Mike Williams isn't as far as the hope for those two. Turner Blaga Anthony Lynn said, yes he's hopeful. They will be able to go Sunday. But as things stand right now, they are day to day in that is not what you want to hear. At all it is not. We WanNa hear it all going into probably the toughest game of the season, and I know they played the chiefs but I just think this defense man is is a whole new level whole different tear the in Kansas City's defense. It's GONNA be rough. I'm as far as guys who did come back to practice Justin, Jackson. He's back at practice today he was dealing with a quad injury man he just really can't shake anything. It's always a new injury with Justin Jackson, but he's back in the fold. The athletics Daniel Popper asked what kind of the backfield situation would look like when Jackson comes back in. And said that you know they have some packages form. They have certain plays the day like Jackson in But at the end of the day, they're going to ride the hot hand and if Jackson comes in and does really well, then he's probably going to have more snaps than Kelly and they're going to Jackson in there you know even longer but also obviously is still going to get his touch it. So I'm not too worried about anything there. As far as injuries I believe that is everything crosshairs like you know we talked about not here but you probably already heard he's on IRA for the next four to six weeks he may miss four to six games, which is insane because he only missed five games total in his nine year career with the Denver broncos. So. That's insane like. Him To the chargers I guess you know it's your first season out of Denver nine years. Games and then bang one season with the chargers route five games. It really doesn't get more just Voodoo magic type deal right like. How why win We just can't figure it out. It is something else. But. That's going to actually wrap up today's show I do have to get going cover these padres. Friars men I hope it's not just. Two losses in their after ten years of waiting to be in the playoffs. I'm sure some of you guys are possibly padres fans as well. I've kind of become a patriots fan having started like covering them. Doing that as my job part of my job. It's been a fun baseball team to cover. Have, really really enjoyed it. It's allowed me to really just lean into baseball more than I. Ever has a having I'm a football guy through and through, but never really enjoyed baseball too much but it's been fun to all his team in enjoy the success as past season with them. That's a whole different sport riding going into that. The guy's really appreciate the law. Thanks for tuning in again, the preview show for this week's matchup will come out Saturday. I'm probably record Friday because I will be out of the House I. Unfortunately, I'm getting dragged to a wedding for someone my wife knows I will not be able to wait until after the Friday injury I may actually that's wrong I may it'll probably be late Friday. I'll record it have it up early Saturday if you guys listen to all throughout the day before the game. And we'll just stick with that schedule I will let you guys know via twitter of anything changes with that. Once, again, appreciate you guys listening in Michael Peterson on chargers. Lately, I will talk to you guys blatantly this week..

"one pitch" Discussed on What I Wore When
"Hey guys it's bobby bones host the bobby bones show and I'm pretty much always sleepy because I wake up at three o'clock in the morning a couple hours later I get all my friends together so we get into a room and we do a radio show. We share our allies. We tell our stories. We try to find much good in the world if he possibly can and we looked through the news of the day that you'll care about also your favorite country. Artists are always stopping by to hang out and share their lives and music too so wake up with a bunch of my friends on ninety eight point seven W M Z Q in Washington DC or wherever the rotates you on the iheartradio APP every fascinated by this debate when you first started realizing that your oh. I'm successful. I'm like I have money like that first moment. Was there something that you remember distinctly going to buy like your Big Lake? Yeah that one. Yeah I mean I remember actually more remember my brother Michael. We we own equal shares the business and all that are like wealth or whatever has like current together so he for Christmas probably like Gosh like five years ago. Four years ago. Bought me my first. Selene bag and I almost like died and I was like Holy Shit. I have made it. I have this bag which by the way I think since sold that bag it was like the one that looks like face you know it was so popular like years ago but should have held onto it because it was a feedback lane. I know I know maybe some anyways but yeah and I remember thinking like Whoa. I made it. I've made and I didn't even buy it for myself but the fact that my brother could buy it from right and that I could carry it you know I felt really cool and excited you know and then like over the years like being able to like by. I'm still very here. When I was growing up. My parents had their own business and they had. They had moderate modest success. And my but my mom and I would go shopping every Saturday. Religiously it was like our thing and she was always like she always made me shop sales like she's like a sale shopper and it and I did it because it was my only option and she was like you know loved getting more quantity than quality. And I think because of that. It's kind of twofold because part of me like there's that is ingrained in me that I'm just going to look for a deal but then there's other part of me that's like fuck it. I'm GONNA just go. I don't WANNA I don't WanNa ship sift through all this. I just want to buy y you know which version my mom passed away a couple of years ago but I know it's like my mom my mom would be looking down being like that but there's something about being able to do that but I'm but I'm pretty pretty good about knowing my limits and I'm definitely not shopping online chanel floor when I'm shopping. I'm just I just can't it's going to think are there things twice often about shopping or bad purchase about what I'll spend? Yeah Yeah I do I really do. And you know. And I'm fortunate that I get a lot of discounts from a lot of great designers. You know we're just kind of a funny thing as you get more more successful unknown hours. That's then everybody starts doing you. Know it's like the biggest thing for your. You know my friends who have like companies and stuff. I'm like just let me pay for it. You know because I want to support and whatever but it is interesting and so promote that stuff but yet no I do think twice about I still. I think it's because of my parents and my mom and grading that it's still really hard for me to buy something that it's different. I feel like for bags and shoes because you get so much. Wear out of them but like a top that is trendy and not going to be something. I WANNA wear in a few months like I don't want to spend that much money on it but there are things that I will you know and like when I want something like really tailor fit really well which I ended up taking so much closer to Taylor anyways because I'm so short and I get things taken in all the time like reformation is also one of my favorite brands but a lot of times they have to get that stuff like taken in is. Because I'm so short you know I do that to people telling me that your stylus telling me that years ago like if you really want like you're close to look really good on you have to get them. Taylor and I'm like what what in now I get it. You know. There's things that you have to get tailored and I get. Things made a little shorter. Has I'm taller. I mean I wish Solar George I want to look taller so things have on like the cost of the tailoring like extra ever I love like reformation has really great sales I just bought a bunch of stuff speaking of shopping and trenches I just bought a bunch of stuff because they had a massive sale and it was like you know the same designs you know. So there's a couple of things I had to get tailored but yeah. I think it's so exciting when there's a brand that I love. That has a sale sample sale. I go crazy for the Ghani Sale. I don't know if you love gone. I have bought some of their stuff but I love their stuff I I have a nine month old baby and good. Oh thanks all the moms so when I was probably in my ninth month misses a story but I was in my ninth month and there is a huge Ghani sale like online and I was like holy like the prices were insane like like three hundred dollar dresses. We're like fifty five dollars and like I was so excited that I bought. I just put everything in a cart. I figured like okay. I'll wear like after the baby weight and I told my husband. I'm more excited for this guy. And he was like. Oh Jesus today Mary what. I'm more excited for this sale. Like I was I get it. I feel you like the damn baby coming out I was. It's weird how I think. Shopping is a high. You get idea if you love it. I love it too and I get such a high for me because I think the psychology of it is that there's an excitement about like how you're gonNA look and how you're ultimately gonNA feel I've also like in the last couple of years made myself like not by something unless I'm so excited to wear. I WOULD WANNA wear it right now because I used to find. I'd be like maybe and I like this but I'm not sure but I'm like no. No that's the tabligh it unless you're like. I want to put it on right now. Where the store? That's so funny I always say that. Would you wear this right now? The answer is yes it. Would you buy this right now? Like the answer's Yes. Whatever your by exactly and I find myself like Nordstrom. The other day I was I had a bunch of stuff and I was going to buy it and then there was like a long line and then I was like tear. Really need this mosaic. Put Back I do that too. I feel like if there's a long line decide well if I love this stuff alway always tell how much you love is thing when you're like oh they'll lines to putting it back. Yeah I did not need to own that item and it was like another pair of jeans and like another t shirt I was like. Do I really need this. No no exactly I talking about money as women especially can be so awkward and so weird but I'm also like very curious about like women's habits as they as they get more money. Yeah and I'm wondering how after after you came super successful like what are you. Spend your money on like apart from clothing like what you love to. Yeah what do you like I on? Well I mean I think it is interesting. You're right because I feel like women are. Don't talk about this stuff and you know one of my good friends. Jamie who started a cosmetics and she was on the cover cosmetic yeah. It's it's amazing company. And she was on the cover for being Forbes or one of those magazines for one of the richest women and and I was like. It's not make you uncomfortable to be on there for people to know and she was like a did. I resisted it for a long time. She's like but then I started to feel like I want to own it and to be okay for women to talk about the fact that they have wealth. Whatever and I know it's so interesting I think for me. I get a little weird with it because I have older kids and I don't know I worry about trying to kidnap them. I'm so weird about that because I've heard that I wouldn't have thought of that. Yeah well because we were on vacation a couple years ago. I think we're in New Zealand and we had a driver who has had driven the founder the founder but one of the family members now running in and out Burger and she had a bodyguard with her because he was telling us his whole story how she has a bodyguard. 'cause she has kids and she's had. I mean there were billions. I mean I'm though we're like mountain or in the vicinity of her. What she has but that they you know they go everywhere the bodyguard. They've had kidnapping threats. You know so I'm like I don't really want to put it out there so I really would not have thought of that. And that that's like a real thing to manages known business is how I feel about it and I've been asked to be lots of different lists about that kind of stuff and I'm like I always turn it down. I think it's one thing to talk about it. Like this is forum and talk about the things that I like to do to put my exact net worth and all of that out for the world. See just it makes me. It's not what you're into. Yeah and it's not that I don't. I'm not proud of it. I mean obviously I have a lot of success and I've you know my life and my lifestyle has changed and you know. I'm proud of that but I also don't think that it's any anybody's business to know anybody's not worth really frankly but but to answer your question and to backtrack a bit. I I do think what I what I spend my money on besides shopping. Enclose is also a lot of wellness. I mean I we started this new concept called squeeze and it's kind of a joke because I'm like am I still the number wrong simmer because I'm there so much and that was always a thing for me. Which is why we started this concept reporter. Why we saw it started because getting a massage to me is like one of my favorite things to do to relax. So you know I. I spend my money a lot on. Well is I go. I get like all the face treatments. You know I go to Shawny Darden I asked GonNa Keep Somerville and I do you know every like all the things the lasers the Micronesia and appeals. Do all that Shit and you know and to me like some of that stuff is very expensive but that is important to me and it's like it makes me feel better when my skin is like Khloe and as I'm getting older it's like that stuff is important to me so I will spend money on that and a lot of wellness stuff and like I go to a regular and I'll spend money on. That's important to me too so a lot of like wellness things seen. I went to a retreat last year in Nashville. It's called onsite where it's like a week long. You totally like they. They take your phone. You're like out in the middle of the Wilderness and doing a lot of therapy and healing. And whatever and again this is part of the year I had and it was expensive but I was like there's really nothing more worth it than like my mental well like health and wellbeing. So you know. I'm big into spending money on like self care and wellness retreat. Sounds amazing. All Mine I go. It was life. Changing for me is really great. Really Yeah I mean it's again for me. It was like I was going through a divorce. And just you know kind of suffering from my situational depression and just having to deal with all of that and and so it was just a really tough time and I was doing. I mean I still go to therapy and do all of that stuff but it was a really good like break to like take a step out of my life detach and and you know. Get some like mental clarity.

"Casey the picture leads off against weapons and with great pleasure I give you for the play by play David to be flat thank you John first pitch in there for a strike the case use got three hits total on the year pitch is left handed bat select an easy to change up for called strike to its own to conceive Logan well I'm sure Logan was a little ticked off he bunted into a double play really did not make a good one at all the case he follows his fastball off the last stays alive and the the short change the giants have a chance at minimum to get Donovan Solano at the plate in RBI spot is the end of that be a good player was a weird play from the Padres here's a swing and a foul Casey jobs got a piece of that one the first baseman field it through to the second baseman at first and the second baseman across the diamond Machado had gotten back to third to make attack on bell to the case he strikes out swinging well first time through the order login web got five strikeouts that's pretty impressive in case he goes down swinging one away and the leadoff hitter Greg Garcia will come out for the second time he struck out back in the first inning anyway I love Logan web who prides himself he was a a great high school quarterback just a really good all around athlete already has look like he's a guy who can handle the bad so I think that probably bugged him a lot he put down a poor enough but to where the Padres could do that here's a fastball low taken by Garcia for ball one Jane temple one nothing lead Austin Slater hit a home run in the first inning here's the pitch Garcia hits one the left field going back quickly as record still going back he'll stop now square up make the cats just shy of the warning track down number two will Riker was playing fairly shallow he was shaded toward the line Paul R. was shaded way toward left center field against Greg Garcia that turned out to be good defensive positioning yeah like to be able to play as shallow as you can and still have your outfielders able to get back and catch a ball like that that was it reasonably hard three years Nick martini who single in the first inning and he takes just a little bit low ball one as we come to you live from the Hawaiian airlines broadcast booth there's a pigeon the dirt ball to those two unknown the changeup from Logan web here's the two bench and that's a called strike right down the middle to Nick martini Marty left handed hitter Padres just picked him up he was with the a is for a chunk of this season had a particularly dramatic moment in Chicago Heery files one to the backstop stew into Margie grew up a cubs fan the ace played interleague there are a few weeks ago and his whole family came to Wrigley Field to watch the ace play the first game of that series martini was a pinch hitter late in the game and hit a home run at Wrigley ballpark you grew up going to as a kid he swings in lives wanted to left center field these two for two against Logan web Nick martini is bored with the two out single give Machado a chance against the young James right hander anyway martinis family just went absolutely nuts I had to be such a cool moment for him but he was only with the ace for another week or so maybe a little longer than that but not much longer now he's with the Padres getting a chance to play tonight two for two Machado who also singled in the first inning very dangerous one nothing giants Machado waiting for the first pitch from Logan web here it comes he takes a strike perfect fastball right on the outside strike one Machado last night that home run John was describing which shocked Bumgarner and surprised a lot of other people his twenty eighth home run of the year set kind of a quiet month the Johto takes way outside here one one overall though he's had a good first year with the Padres twenty eight home runs seventy five batted in not super star numbers I think probably there was an expectation level to coming to this division from the American League east the offense of numbers would probably come down a little bit and they have one one pitch is off the outside wall to course he spent the last part of last season in this division with the Dodgers sign in the off season with the Padres I was big news we we started this regular season in San Diego a day where Machado was introduced for the first time we're Fernando Taiji's junior was introduced for the first time the very memorable afternoon for Padres fans to one pitch way outside mana fastball they're not even close hello good well you know he wants to be careful against Machado you walk him though we have two on with two out a left handed hitter was in power Eric Hosmer waiting on deck is web three one pitch John takes outside ball for another fast ball of Mrs that's a first walked issued by web and the two three others are combined for for for for for in terms of getting on base three hits and a walk between Martina Machado suppose he's coming out for a little chat with the twenty two year old this is a legitimate talk about strategy here Sam Holbrook started out toward the bow but he knows sometimes I think umpires maybe a little shorter window for a meeting when it's obvious that it's just to stall for time to let somebody warm up in the bull pen or whatever in this instance is only warming up in the bullpen it's one nothing giants you're the third that was just pure strategies we gave Posey some extra time two on two out for Osborne the pitch is just off the inside wall one was missing that's the spot where he was missing against Machado even though it appeared as if he was trying to be extra careful against Machado maybe just missing to that spot right now cause marketing two eighty four he's got twenty all runs he said it's a good year the pitch swings and misses he got in the chase at change of that was a good one strike one as one and one it's been a good pitch for him so far web he's got five strikeouts in these first three innings but is also given up four hits and a walk through the set of pitch listen traffic out there so high stress moments early in this game to be pitch number fifty three for Logan web the one one is fouled off to the left a changeup Posner might have broken is bad I think he did he's gonna give new bad from the best way on the Toyota out of town scoreboard the Dodgers plan in Arizona again the Dodgers who lost last night the Diamondbacks as part of that was coming here and winning two games they won five games in a row the dire backs are a real player in the wild card race in the fifth inning in Phoenix it's four three Dodgers here's one nothing giants wanted to the house were here's the pitch it is grounded toward the middle of playing right there do bought he's got if you'll flip the secular Solano covering the inside of force out Machado million web gets a ground ball and the giants get out of it two out single ended two out walk but no runs for the Padres Salado Slater Paul are coming up one nothing giants we go to the bottom of the third on the KNBR northern California Honda dealers radio network we have to understand the mysteries around is it possible is it possible to turn back and reversing aging in the brain is it possible to eliminate from the face of the earth and is it possible to insure not just UCSF redefining everybody Mister T..

"Up against the foul pole and right up against the wall caught by her art Paro in the first inning see the ball pretty hard but he's all for one ready against righties he takes a strike that's the breaking ball over the outside that's the very saddest B. I. but maybe sometimes he'll throw what he would call a slider it and there are many of those more curveballs and sliders maybe that's what that was one pitch he misses with quatre away one on one anonymous such as has figured out a way to be an effective pitcher without the pure stuff you used to have really not even close to the stuff you used to have one one pitch Posies takes down away ninety three I think that's the firmest fastball we've seen all game four runs for his for the nationals a two run Homer by Kurt Suzuki the biggest single advance finance one run one hit for the giants so far or the bottom of the fourth two one pitch Posey takes low three and one I'm Stephen vote on deck vote flight out to center field is first time up tonight but he's been having graded bats lately for the giants three even just to walk ahead of vote could be a good place for the giants three one pitch is one animist Posey chase ball for men we went after cutter there was up and away and as soon as this way even maybe before the swing is finished buster was talking to himself re into pitch Posey hits it found no such as came back in with that.

Sacramento before the game the pitch would you Stransky running opposing lines one to center field here comes cannery on the move he's going to catch it his friends he fell down he's going to read back the first thing he does not get there in time it's a double play January through the first few straps he's here today has he tried to stop and get back and hard hit ball turns into a very bad luck play for the giants a double play that could have been a run if that one gets down or gets in the gap and who knows what instead the giants are retired so one hit nobody laughed and some bad luck we will go to the bottom of the for sure so margin will face the Phillies nothing nothing on the KNBR northern California Honda dealers radio network.

He's also had two hundred twenty official at bats as a giant three to pitch. Swing a hard ground ball to short easy. Hop petits who throws him out at first, too. It's eight to four in the sixth inning and they weren't done in the inning as Chris cienega was able to draw a walk in, so bud. Black sent Daniel Murphy to the plate to pinch hit and a one one pitch and driven into center field. It's Basit that is going to score two more. The ball goes off, Mark that will allow. The runner I- to get to third base and Murphy holds at first, it is a brand new game folks eight to six the Rockies trail six runs in, in the inning is six Rockies safe at home in that sixth innings safe at home. Presented by reproach partners and CASA the mission to be advocates for abused and neglected children. This guy's career unfortunate little detour form, but it's made him a better man and pitcher fastball that MRs outside one the count and that belt that he had with cancer a couple of years ago. Back in November of two thousand sixteen one one pitch and Turner lays off off speed low and outside two balls and one strike in that battle with stickier cancer, which he is overcome. Great to see him back in the starting rotation for the Rockies to on pitch. Mrs Lohan into Turner, three and one. Yeah. It didn't let anyone until about a month later through the surgery to remove the tumor and then later on three one pitch and Turner hits a line drive through the left side and a base hit a one out single for Turner's having a hot series as just turn out six ten and a one out single that'll bring up Cory Seager. "You know from the nurse line perspective because often we talk about what's called libraries delay which is you know this this finding that when you think about doing an action and then you actually do that action there's about a three hundred millisecond delay in terms of neural activity and sometimes it looks as if your brain has made the decision before you are consciously aware of it and so that that's what's fascinating about the delay is that we think like okay it's my brain made me do it kind of thing and urge yeah and it kind of underlies this whole argument for you know this idea that we don't have free will and outright only other question and yet here we are in a situation where that delays just too long so so you know to hit this pitch i mean you're talking about three hundred milliseconds as opposed to two hundred milliseconds which is you know what you're saying is is you need to you need to have made that decision so do you do you think that in a lot of these hitters the decision to swing happens unconsciously you know it's i don't know i mean i think they i think to some degree yes i mean i think for you know you often hear you don't want to to be thinking too much as as you go into the you know as you head into the bat into the into the bad and and so and i think that's a responsible for hitters when they struggle or when they you know you have to hear the term choke in sports and that often is the case when certain brain areas are activating that effectively shouldn't be activating because you're over thinking things or your emotions get involved or you know you can't handle the stress of a situation and so whereas a normal skill that you that you've done thousand times just requires you know simply your motor system to to unfold properly now you're getting into some you know sentimental regions of the brain and other cognitive really caught a cognitive areas of the brain and they effectively gonna crowd or or you know they they inhibit your your your proper motor functioning that's you know that's what happens i guess when you when you choking and so i think probably there's there's if that if that does happen to a hitter if they are consciously thinking too too much about about a trying to hit this pitch than than yeah that probably would would be a deterrent to them you know but i do think they are making a decision it happens to be a very quick decision and fortunately it's a pre binary decision swing or don't swing and and so that decision unfolds in that short in that small little window that they have the two hundred milliseconds but they are still their brain is is still responding to what it seeing and they are triggering a motor output and so i think you know the they are actively deciding on something there so it might be kind of somewhere in between so let's let before we leave this particular topic let's talk about mariano rivera myself so yeah what made his one pitch so hard to hit right well i mean i think you know his his his pitch was so hard hit because of its late late movement and so what it did is it effectively i it was so deceptive to these hitters because they it came after that window of deciding swagger outswing had already transpired effectively you know they they the the pitch which was his his cutter had very late late action and so a hitter is seeing this pitch coming in straight as if it's a fastball and they're reading it like a fastball nave seen thousands upon thousands of other fastballs in picking up on those cues that tells them it's going to be a fastball or at least tells him it's gonna be straight and so and for a lot of pitches that approach that that's that decision would be.

"Watch like top dress or even top chefs sometimes they'll they'll be taking it really seriously and then they deliver a plate of like i don't know it was made from vending machine or something right the word inspiration should be banned from that show i took my inspiration from this building right yeah me nobody takes oath the sensu out with your with your dell your eight p pat and a little pig and inspired by right no i hate that comic challenge was so annoying with marvel com people every year on top chef digging that they cast and it's always the same guy some huge meathead some huge fat head hotdog hughes neck man and he works he works he's a cage in the cage he's raised as he works he works like a chop shop diner soft carolina and he'll like four episodes in there's always someone who like this like an entire egg shell to the judges and the first episode or something but then i didn't know what to know how to use a pressure from the one the one guy for a couple of seasons ago thing maybe it was the boston season they did a thing at the baseball stadium and the guys like why was inspiration from baseball and i made a fish ball giant fish baseball and the judges were paul this giant baseball back home when we don't we love baseball baseball so i made this table i don't figure out how to make this makeup of all do you see the one with the goal the worst of this oh my god you guys just brought it all together one of the most difficult to watch one's ever was actually from one of the greatest challenges the challenge was i think it was the arch challenge that yielded the cubism costume i remember that one but that was like season three remember what lost to remember what lost if you say i will remember he he he finally he was gonna come to terms with his this is so bad his abusive father so he made a cigarette not funny was so difficult with so sad it was so poorly done it was really bad political cartoon it's like government written on a pig you're like that's not even a cartoon that doesn't pointing anything he's made this like everything off about his father as a costume and it was very poorly and it was you can you can tell that he like it meant a lot to him and it was very important to him that all of his choices not gut notes from mr mckenzie about maybe wanted to let down a little bit right that but but it just turned out to be bad to anybody looking at it which i gotta find a photo i feel like is a good segue to pitch perfect at least pitch perfect three and you explain the premise of pitch perfect for people who might not have seen it which by the way shout out to the dubai friday discord server saturday night they did a pitch perfect viewing party and they set it up on some cockamamie plex thing where they all watch the plex file at the same time or whatever but then they we veronica went on with them and watched and chatted with them it was really fun actually just everyone watched the movie and kind of made fun of a you know at a android it together at the same time on on the on the dischord chat definitely we'll probably think will bring that back for future challenge that was very fun yeah that was really fun i'm just incredible to instead of omega would you think would we're do pitch perfect later later after show oh my god the show after show after my daughter saw after thanked wanna think about it okay so pitch perfect pitch perfect dig dug dig dug so the first movie follows our main character becca who is a rebellious teen who goes to college and doesn't want to join anything or be part of any groups but then she finds the barden bellas and kind of rescues this wayward capella group and brings them to victory but really it's about the friends you made along the way so that's that's pitch perfect one pitch perfect two brings the bellas to worlds which is a thing i guess where they compete against a german group who's like really angry and competitive with teen girls for some reason yeah and then pitch perfect three brings them on a uso tour and they run around europe for basically.

"A good friend of mine big into the music scene obviously but super tied into sports you know lucky to have met this guy mike mike stud we got him on the line who say join us by brother of course i appreciate the intro man yeah i obviously being part of what you know the comeback season podcasts only makes sense for us because you know it's been a it's been an awesome thing you know obviously we'll get into a little bit but it's been an awesome thing to kind of watch you know watch what you're doing and be a part of in any way man so yeah there's a lot of people that don't know a kind of a little bit how me and you came to know each other together a little bit you know over the course of a note from show in college station all the way to pretty much being business partners comeback season side of things it's been a crazy ride yes yes i mean i i wanna say we just connected on twitter is just poor old right that's where all great matches are made out to say works in two thousand eighteen like everybody is on social media yeah but we didn't even you know i don't even think we got that i sure station i think you're either out of tune or whatever but we just wanted to going back and forth and then long story short i'm independent artists and i've always i've always been independent so we kind of do things a little differently and kind of do everything in house so we we were doing my merchandise in cut took over the whole barstool knows a lot about this business section very lucrative you know if you if you have people that care not invested in you can really you know you can really turn it into a business in and for someone like me it was you know it was a nobrainer kinda take over our merchandise and the whole ins and outs of it and you know fulfillment and all those things where all things that i took on last year as we putting out music and kind of learned the whole business so i saw johnny you know john mentioned he wanted to drop some some of its merchandise views preparing to kind of come back and and i wanted to help the dude you know what i mean wanted to help you so is just the perfect scenario and we'd crushed him in me throughout that like just getting the chance to have all the growing pains gone and everything guys who have no for doing you know in in la it's easy to really get lost in a in a world of superficial kind of fake people every now and then you get around it so much so to mind a person at like a similar similar story you know so it was good to get around mike in in that regard and that is one thing that i've always been like just always great about you was you know being independent and doing what you've done on your own i mean you've had a tunnel success you know from where you are due to leaving duke in the whole transition of everything getting into the music and where you are today i feel as a man it is yeah story i couldn't relate more what everything the brand stands for you what's you know what you're trying to do now you know i mean i was obviously for people who don't know i was just kind of a una fasttrack the ban professional baseball player you know at one pitch i've mila nowhere you're on a blue my arm out tommy john but the whole idea of you know coming back i think everyone's coming back from something at multiple stages in their lives you know whether it's whether it's you know it's could be sports but that's such a small world it's really white bigger than that for me as much as it was anything mike was just coming back from being in a whole being depressed being down not my life was going and feeling really stuck at something i mean you've talked about a lot just in iraq have relation it's it's it's hard exactly and i think that's that's that's like just so unbelievably relatable to tons of people you don't you don't have to even have any type of background sports to kind of connect with that and understand it and you know like i said i i.

"Sheltered as far as like real relationships in real interactions go and then on top of it i think she's super fake so i think she is like a stone cold hard core like manipulative gangster but has to be a new kyw's like just trying to figure it out and i think that for a guy like would that be cool to be with i don't i'm not sure and then also like very childish like really just wants to lake have sleepovers in pajamas with her friends and like play with her cat okay you know what i mean look at cat is always strike three for me before relationship can even begin to what's one in to the cat strikes so the cat is one two and three sorry i thought you said it was strike number three a rare you can strike out on one pitch and that's a cap to me he's got a fucking and look i'm not shy about it i've i've written at my book and everything like man if everybody had a cat we'd all be suck on each other's dicks all day i can't stand it i don't think those animals deserve to be alive on this earth share and you know it's one of those things where you see these charities for like oh my god save the hippos hippos are going extinct or the the white elephants are going extinct or the rhinoceros is going stink if there was an extinction of cats no i would there's nothing i would pay for them to be extinct there was like some kind of company that was like hey we're getting rid of all the cat donating then i would go fund it and i'm well aware that you know probably half our audience has a cat i have every audience has a cat half the world how it works.

"So i'm assuming you're very excited for that oh okay 'cause i think it's not the last one pitch no the movie is coming out in the series in the series concluding my wrong with this series including voice actors came out and set you know they're like we can't wait to come back that really the only reason i think one of the reasons one the most important reasons why the series is ending is to focus on this movie okay you didn't tell the animation in that in that in that just simple shot right there is quite astonishing and actually what they did was they've gone back to a more round style that's very that's very original dragon ball an order to a lot of people think that that might look like a lot less detail but i but really what that does is it draws out and makes the fights a lot more explosive because what you have a lot more simpler and not necessarily simpler animation but a simpler design a more rounded design it allows for the impact on the fluidity in each of your your combat scenes to really explode right it gives gives a lot of anime of so they're really focusing on that in that shot and that's what i got from that okay so let me ask you this is if if i wanted to get in the dragon ball super and you said definitely if you especially if you wanna see the last episode tonight watch one thirty and then one thirty one what other arcs are segments that 'cause i know like dragon ball is infamous a lot of animates do not all of them but a lot of them have a lot of filler is the dragon ball super have a lot of filler and then you get like a fight every once in a while or is are there specific episodes watch specific story arcs i should watch or should i void like you don't really need to watch the jaren one or you don't need to watch the freezer gold or you don't need to watch the the the all the other ones beers pop it back and battle of the gods to see battle of the guys i need to go see that movie like if i wanted to get into watch this last last two episodes of dragon ball and get the the meat of everything that's in this.
