Pentagon debuts its new stealth bomber, the B-21 Raider
"The nation's newest nuclear stealth bomber will make its public debut today after years of secret development. The B 21 raider is the first new American bomber in more than 30 years. It'll be unveiled in California 7 years after then air force secretary Deborah Lee James announced the need for a new one to take on potential threats from China and Russia. The LRS B will allow the air force to operate in tomorrow's high end threat environment. The rate of program is highly classified. Artist renderings reveal the bomber resembles the one it will replace the B two spirit. Builder north of Grumman says that's where the similarities end. Analysts say changes could include advanced materials making the raider harder to detect and the ability to disguise itself as another object on radar, 6 raiders are in production as The Pentagon tries to modernize its nuclear force. The cost is unknown. Sagar Meghani, Washington
Alleged Rapist Danny Masterson Is Off the Hook
"And in really disappointing and shitty news, the case against saint Ginger haired rape obsessed actor Danny Masterson ended in a mistrial, the jury said they were unable to reach a verdict on any of the three criminal counts that this jerk off stays, I mean, you just look at him and you know he's guilty. Just looking at him and you know the 6 man 6 woman panel told LA superior court judge Charlene almeida that we're stuck after thorough and considerable discussion. It's clear that we as jurors are adamant about maintaining our individual positions on each of these three counts. So the judge formally declared a mistrial, which is something I was nervous about because that's what the Church of Scientology really wanted since day one of this testimony back in late October. There was a retrial date of March 17th. Back to the penciled in, meanwhile, masters in history on $3.3 million bail, there'll be a hearing set for January 10th, but likely before that, the act is defense team plans to file to have all the charges tossed out. And that move is based on the inclination of the jury made public just yesterday. The jurors spoke the downtown LA clot room, and they said they were deeply divided on all these three counts. On count one, it was ten to two for not guilty. Count two saw 8 going for not guilty for for guilty. And count three was 7 for guilty. I'm so 7 for not guilty 5 for guilty. Now all the Jane does can look forward to is getting down to business with the civil suit that was put on pause. That's not really what they wanted the most. They wanted Danny Masterson to serve jail time and maybe understand what rape really feels like, but maybe just maybe he could be ruined financially in a civil suit. That would be considered a moral victory,
AJ Explains Why Disney's 'Strange World' Is Tanking
"Anyhow, back to strange world. Which critics are calling this thing it's a piece of shit. It's not bringing in the cash from the theaters that Disney hoped it would. In fact, it's expected to lose a 150 million, so why did this happen? Why else? Disney's bought a director's and its animation team, which has produced other bombs, they keep doubling down on making their content too woke. The film centers around an interracial couple and their queer son who's looking for love and finds it in a hand holding gay relationship, it's Disney's first animated film with a gay lead character and apparently that has turned many parents off and they've stayed away from the theaters. Now on one hand, gauge like the film because of one line in the movie. When the gay kid named Ethan, when his grandpa asked him, if he has a sweetheart, the kid blushes because he does have a sweetheart. It's another boy named diazo. But instead of his grandpa saying a line that most of us are very accustomed to, which is to say, well, what's her name? What's your sweetheart's name? Holy shit. Instead, grandpa says, who is it? So gay's love that the screenwriter went that route went the route of a parent or grandparent being absolutely fine with his crush being male or female. Don't care. But on the other hand, there are way too many parents out there and I'm not gonna lie. I'd be one of them if my kids were younger. We don't like that line. It's not that I don't like the line. I have no issues with same sex relationships. But most parents don't want that shoved down their kids throats at such an early age. And therein lies the problem and why the movie hasn't been met with droves of parents, dragging their kids to theaters to see this film.
Jim Carrey Quits Twitter
"It's only been a day or so, but how are you guys holding up now that Jim Carrey says he's putting Twitter? Oh, that's a tough blow. That's a tough blow. If only he quit that stupid show he had called, what was it called sorry? Where he played that Mr. Rogers type character. I think it was on showtime, showtime or HBO. It was so depressing. There was one laughing at it was another attempt for Jim Carrey to do serious traumatic acting, but it went nowhere. It went nowhere and it was gone in two seasons. Thank goodness, but I can't crap on him totally. Jim Carrey was a huge star in his day, making 20 million a picture. I loved about 5 or 6 of his movies. Funny as hell, but in recent memory, has he done anything that kind of floated your boat? Not for me,
Ukrainian engineers scramble to keep mobile phones working
"Engineers from Ukraine's phone companies have mobilized to help the public and policymakers stay in touch during repeated Russian attacks. The engineers who typically go unseen and unsung in peacetime often work around the clock to maintain or restore service, sometimes braving minefields to do so after Russian strikes took out the electricity that cell phone towers usually run on, they revved up diesel generators, a team from Ukrainian telecommunications company Keith Starr, has offered a glimpse of their new daily routine this week, checking an app on their own phones to monitor the cell towers in the Keith area, one entry red in English, low fuel. Branden Carlson, Utah race past No. 4 Arizona 81-66

AP sources: Biden tells Dems he wants SC as 1st voting state
"President Biden is weighing in on the Democrats presidential nominating calendar. I'm Ben Thomas, with the closer look. In a letter to the Democratic National Committee's rule making arm written on personal stationary, Biden says the party should move past restrictive caucuses and prioritize diversity at the start of their presidential primary calendar. Biden did not mention specific states he'd like to see go first, but three people familiar with his recommendation, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations, say he's told Democrats he wants South Carolina moved to the first position. He also recommends Michigan and Georgia move into the first 5 states. His recommendation deals a major blow to Iowa's leadoff status. Ben Thomas, Washington
Day 336 of The Bible in a Year: The Council at Jerusalem
"The acts of the apostles, chapter 15. The council at Jerusalem but some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brethren unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you can not be saved. And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and debate with them, Paul and Barnabas and some of the others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and the elders about this question. So being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and samaria, reporting the conversion of the gentiles, and they gave great joy to all the brethren. When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they declared all that God had done with them. But some believers who belonged to the party of the pharisees rose up and said, it is necessary to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses. The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter. And after there had been much debate, Peter rose, and said to them, brethren, you know that in the early days God made choice among you that by my mouth, the gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God who knows the heart bore witness to them, giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, but cleansed their hearts by faith. Now therefore why do you make trial of God by putting a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the lord Jesus, just as they will. silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the gentiles. After they finished speaking, James replied, brethren listened to me. Simeon has related how God first visited the gentiles to take out of them a people for his name. And with this, the words of the prophets agree, as it is written, after this, I will return. And I will rebuild the dwelling of David, which has fallen. I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up. That the rest of men may seek the lord, and all the gentiles who are called by my name says the lord, who has made these things known from of old. Therefore, my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to abstain from the pollution of idols and from unchastity and from what is strangled and from blood. For from early generations, Moses has had in every city those who preach him for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues. The council's letter to the gentile believers. Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church. To choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas.
Guentzel, Kapanen fuel rally as Penguins slip by Vegas 4-3
"The penguins scored twice in the third period to hand the golden knights just their second regulation loss in 13 road games this season. Four to three. Jake ensel and kasperi kapanen tallied one 52 apart to give the pens a victory in their first game since defenseman Chris la Tang suffered a stroke on Monday. Genzel tied it 7 33 into the final period, kapanen gave Pittsburgh, its first lead of the night. The last game I played before. You know, I got healthy and I missed that wide open that. It was time to just get feeling put in. Brock mcginn and Ricardo Raquel also scored for the penguins. Jack eichel had a goal and an assist for Vegas. I'm Dave ferry.
Hayes leads Pistons to overtime victory over Mavericks
"Killian Hayes scored 8 of his 22 points in overtime as the pistons got past the Mavericks. One 31 one 25. The game was tied until Hayes hit back to back threes, putting Detroit ahead by 6 with 41.6 seconds remaining. It feels good to finally go on the side where, you know, things start working for you, but you just gotta keep working. I put in a lot of work. I got the trust from coach, all my teammates pulled, they always pushing me every day. The long buckets came after the pistons blew a one 13 one O four lead late in the fourth quarter. Boy and Bogdanovich led the pistons with 30 points and Marvin Bagley the third added 19 with 13 rebounds. I'm Dave ferry.
Johansen scores in OT to lift Predators past Devils, 4-3
"The Nashville predators start a tough road back to back on the right foot, scoring 11 seconds in there Thursday night matchup the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential center. They bookend the start with another goal at the end of the first period, but the Devils would take the lead with three unanswered goals than the predators found another opportunity to strike in the final seconds of regulation when McCall Greenland poked in a rebound force over time. May have made a really good play in a neutral zone and I got the puck in and then it's just, you know, getting that one shot to the net and hopefully we can create something. Ryan johansen scored the second .33 seconds in overtime as the predators win four to three. Matt mankiewicz Newark
Stamkos has assist for 1,000th point, Lightning beat Flyers

Paul scored late in the first period with his tenth goal of the season, his 11th came early in the second period with an assist from Steven stamkos who picked up his 1000th NHL career point. It's one of those things that I don't think hits you until a little later. But just to share that with the guys on the ice, that's something you never dream of as a kid. Ross Colton, Eddie and Cole also scored goals for Tampa Bay, Travis connecting scored for the flyers. Michael luongo, Philadelphia
A Meditation on Matthew 9:27-31 for Friday of the 1st Week of Advent
"For the next few moments, surrender all the cares and concerns of the stay to the lord. Say slowly, from your heart, Jesus. I trust in you. You. Take over. Become aware that he is with you. Looking upon you with love. Wanting to be heard, deep within your heart. A reading from the holy gospel, according to Matthew, chapter 9 versus 27 through 31. As Jesus went on his way, two blind men followed him shouting. Take pity on a son of David. And when Jesus reached the house, the blind men came up with him, and he said to them, do you believe I can do this? They said, sir? We do. Then he touched their eyes, saying your faith deserves it, so let this be done for you. And their sight returned. Then Jesus sternly warned them, take care that no one learns about this. But when they had gone, they talked about him all over the countryside. What word made this passage come alive for you? What did you sense the lord saying to you?
Media Crushes Jerry Jones Over 1957 Photo
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the occupation show. Hey, I want to jump back into the conversation I was having about LeBron James and I want you to get the chance to hear Stephen a smith's take on Cherry Jones. Being pictured in a picture of something 68 years ago. Wrote a clip of Stephen a Smith. On my podcast, no mercy. Because you got people that wanted to come at me in the wrong way. I stand by what I said. In regards to a 14 year old in a still photo. And that's what you want to use to jump on them. You just highlight it. There's plenty of other things to jump when Jerry Jones about. You ain't never hired black coach. You didn't stand up for Colin Kaepernick and his rights as an American citizen to do what he did. You didn't speak out initially. You were actually hiding when it came to social justice issues, Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones would tell you I told him that. Where you at? I'll give a damn what you say. Say something. You gotta speak up. You can't be quiet. But that's entirely different. They use in the still photo of a 14 year old standing in a crowd in 1957, pre civil rights, pre voting rights because clearly the climate of those times were what it was. Do we need to regurgitate what the hell was going on in the gym crow south? We all know that story. Lynchings murders, rapes mayhem all types of stuff. All types of insidious despicable things that was done and inflicted upon the black race. We understand what the hell was going on down there. So if you're Jerry Jones and you're standing in the crowd, I'm looking at how you're acting more than I'm looking at what the environment is. I would love to let him finish, but I just need to talk about what he said. He didn't stand up for Colin Kaepernick, but he panned dak Prescott a very handsome. I'm out of money. So it make this make sense. He don't care about black people, but his quarterback is probably one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL. Oh, but he didn't stand up for Colin. 'cause Colin Kaepernick is an idiot. That's why he didn't stand up for Colin Kaepernick. But he's standing up for that Prescott.
The Idaho Murder Mystery
"I wanted to talk about this murder. In Idaho, 'cause I was at the cigar lounge last night, and there were some people asking me about it. And there's a lot of confusion going on with this murder, right? There's four young people that were murdered and it appears that they have nothing. They have no evidence, they have no weapon recovered, they don't have a suspect in mind. A lot of people are completely perplexed. And in a way, I'm kind of perplexed. But let me just give you a few reasons. Why this could be taking a long time or the perception of it taking a long time because if you're not in law enforcement and you don't do investigations or you don't have direct knowledge of it, it could be very confusing for you. So there are four things that could be at work here. One thing is that this is a very small town, right? I mean, you're not talking about a major city. And with small towns, there's a very limited amount of resources. And obviously we see that they have the FBI coming in and assisting in this investigation because they just don't have enough. You know, how much technology do you think they have in this little small town? How is the closest crime lab? You know, what kind of forensic training have they done? How many murders have happened in the town where they have enough experience to do a proper investigation into a murder, especially a quadruple murder?
Is It Time to Cancel 'Ye'
"So he did a lot of stuff that some could argue that some things were good some things were atrocious. And some people may have a problem even with a person agreeing that Robert E. Lee wasn't all bad, right? Abraham Lincoln wasn't all bad. One aspect of what he did was bad. But I just want to make it clear. I think that when you articulate that, you have to have a pretty compelling argument because it's very difficult to compare Hitler to any other great leader that did good for the country. And are their country. And let me just express this as well. I mean, Hitler wasn't even the worst. Joseph Stalin was even worse than Hitler when you talk about the death toll of what he's responsible for. So when you, somebody like Kanye start to talk about these things, you got to be able to articulate and put them in perspective. And this is why I think he's going to lose a lot of people when he say certain things that he says. Now, maybe he's smarter than I am, and he knows that this is going to cause him to get a lot more attention. And maybe out of all the crazy stuff he say, he does say a lot of stuff that's profound. I mean, within the rent that he makes about Hitler, he does say a lot of things that you can say, wow, that's a pretty profound perspective that most people don't come to that conclusion about. You know, it's funny because as he says, Hitler wasn't all bad. You know, I think it's a pretty interesting comparison that I think Ye ain't all bad. But I don't think that that's let me make sure I'm clear on this. I don't think that that's a legal comparison because murdering people is different than saying crazy stuff every now and again. But I do think Ye even though people are going to throw them away and they're going to say he's the craziest man on Planet Earth and he don't deserve to have a platform. I do think some of the things that Ye says is incredibly profound.

"So there were some cold times. I would describe them, but other get the end of the day. There's mutual respect there for each other's careers. And what they did for the sport and for their team. So I think these cold times or frosty times are behind us and I'm happy for them. What he's been able to accomplish and now what he's doing after his career with TV and obviously part owner now of the jazz and so he's doing big things and I'm happy for him. And he grudges from your MBA career. Anybody who wrote into you to be like not turn around walking the other way or you know me, I'm super easygoing. There is a few guys that are a little sensitive. They thought that I got them traded. Which of course is not really the case. It's a fine line of being a franchise player and sometimes being involved on the business side or knowing about trade rumors and stuff like that. But other than that, I don't have any grudges against our teammates or exponents, not at all. I usually got to I got to the gym. I try to help my team win and I was all about business and then I went home to my family or do my own thing. So I was I was never really getting too involved with opponents. I figured not, but I figured I'd ask. And so the NBA 75 ceremony itself was rather amazing. I can't remember how many was it not 60 40, 50, whatever, that of you that were actually there. And it wasn't just the ceremony. There were some time where you guys were, I think, gathered up for some photo opportunities and everything else. I think the Cavs practice court. What was that like were there guys that you set out? Did you when you arrived the weekend? Were there guys that you're like, I need to meet this guy, 'cause I had met him before or just people you wanted to rub elbows with for the first time. Tell me, who were the big ones for you? Well, I got to say that was the most special moment of that weekend. I was a little late. And then I came in on the cast practice and I walked in and almost everybody was there already. And just seeing everybody and that was, I think, the most special moment for me just the wow effect, like I'm a part of this group right here. Look around, this is fantastic. So I think that was the most special moment of the whole weekend walking on the cast practice facility that was unbelievable. Really shared some great lasso with everybody to talk to schacht, doctor Charles Barkley, of course, who I love. Got to meet bob Pettit for the first time. That was super cool. Talk to Kareem a little bit of had a photo shoot for the whole 75 thing a few months earlier and there was not one guy talked to Kevin McHale a bunch and the admiral, of course, big fan. So I don't know. It was just super cool to be in that room and being part of the crew. And I missed a couple. I wish timid Duncan was there, you know, Carl Malone or my boy Steve Nash, I missed a couple of the guys that are shared with some great battles with, but it's still amazing the guys that guys that were there..

There's one commander in chief at a time so yesterday. Abc's own george. Stephanopoulos became the first journalist to sit down with president at the white house. Since biden made the final call in kabul descended into chaos and minutes after that interview. George got into a car and gave us a call. There is george how are you. I'm doing all right. How are you. I'm rushing a union station. let's not this out l. Let's do this. So i mean you spoke to president biden the white house clearly. He's sticking with his decision. Here right how did he characterize his decision making process to you. Know second guessing at all. He took on those who said that the intelligence showed that we'd have this kind of rapid collapse of the afghan military and government back in july. You said a taliban takeover with highly unlikely was the intelligence wrong or did you downplay it. I think there was no consensus. You go back and look at the intelligence reports. They said that like more likely to be sometime by the end of the year. He said no one told what happens quickly. The idea that the taliban would take over was premised on the notion that the somehow the three hundred thousand troops we trained and equipped was going to collapse. We're going to give up. I don't think anybody anticipated time. They'll take by version to keep a small force there. He suggested that he was being told. It would take several thousand more troops for von period of time and a lot of lives if we were to say. He's not second guessing his decision. I don't think this could have been handled. This actually could have been handled better in any way. No mistakes no. I don't think it could have been handled in a way that they're going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there's a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing. I don't know how that happens. I don't know how that happened so for you. That was always priced into the decision. Yes and so he saying there was intelligence but was this a failure then to listen to the intelligence or he's just saying we always knew this would happen. I i asked him. Was it a failure of intelligence planning execution or judgment. He conceded nothing. he says. This is basically always going to happen when we withdrew when you had the government of afghanistan the leader that government getting a plane and taking off going another country when you saw the significant collapse of the of the afghan troops. We had trained to three hundred thousand of them just leaving their equipment and taking off that was you know this is what happened as simply what happened he. Where does this go here. Things get worse if people start being slaughtered if women are being arrested or beaten for going to school like is the plan. That's going to be like. Hey the taliban they were in the country now. The president is sticking by that august thirty first deadline with one big exception. He saying that troops will stay if we stop to get americans out and if we stopped to get a little more on our afghan allies interpreters translators. People helped us through the war effort commitment holes to get everyone out that in fact we can get out and everyone should come out and that's the objective. That's what we're doing now. That's the path. And i think we'll get so american should understand the troops might have to be there beyond august thirty. First know america's and understand that we're going to try to get it done before august but if we don't the troops don't will determine if the time who's left and and if you're american forces if there's american citizens left we're gonna stay little get them all out s for you know. The taliban taking over the president said it's a matter of priorities. It's matter par hard-boiled nash. Security calculation so there are a lot of countries where women are are subjugated where women are discriminated against women face violence and lack of rights. He said well we don't. We can't send our military in a to solve those problems in every country in the world to such high stakes for all these decisions here and the pictures are almost universally alarming to americans right. But i do think that it's tricky for americans to figure out you know who's responsible for these images right. Is it president biden because of the way he just did this withdrawal. This president trump actually kind of orchestrated negotiated withdrawal. Talking about george w bush forever. I mean how does biden see this as his mission or z. Cleaning up after others. He's been pretty consistent over the last fifteen years. He wanted so that. I think that's one of the reasons. He's not conflicted right now or not communicating any sense of being conflicted about this decision. But we've all seen the pictures we've seen those hundreds of people packed into a c. Seventeen we've seen afghans falaise four days ago five days ago. What did you think when you first saw those pictures. I thought was weird. We have to gain control this. We have to move this more quickly. We have to move in a way in which we can take control that airport and we did. He did suggest that had president trump made the agreement with the taliban might have had a slightly different time. Why but no second guessing at all on the big decision the strategic decision to withdraw from afghanistan. Last question political one i. I don't know if it's too soon to go to politics. But what does this do for. The image of the joe biden white house and the democratic party going forward with. That's going to be a big question. I don't think. I don't think we know yet. I was talking to some white house officials today. Suggest they do you think he could take a bit of it there on the other hand i think the president is firmly believes that the american public pretty firmly agrees with him on the big picture. The twenty years in.

Wow i've never had like a really freaky first date apps or anything like that. I date with this guy is for you well but it was before you even met you time. It was through a girl from work and she worked in a lab and he was older than me. He was like eight years older than me. But he worked in a lab tune. We went on a couple dates but it was really weird and awkward for the time. I was like free food free. We'd let's go. But kind of sweden for it was really weird. We like met at some. Oh what was that place called. Sherlock's ofo threesome. We met there for drinks. And then he lived around the corner. Please i was twenty two. We met there and drank. And i don't know went to his house and smokes weed and then the next day or a couple of days later remade at some mexican restaurant but they were really shitty dates like awkward conversation. Then it was like well. You wanna go smoke. Some houses like shirts free. let's go. why should isis. When you're young free we'd yeah. Smu smoked weed. Oh man it's long. Probably two thousand. "All i know is if you ain't into what's happening right now with book and we'll donovan mitchell in with all these young kids like trae young these young fellows putting in some work and really exciting us been. You're not a bass you're not an nba fan. You might be a laker fan. You might be like a basketball fan. But you ain't no where you telling me you about their basketball and life and you're not excited about book and about donovan mitchell and trae young and he's dues out there putting in work. I agree with this young kids. I agree with that. And i fall into that category. I'm guilty here's has nothing wrong with it. no. I'm not saying there's something wrong with it. I'm just saying that learnt that there's a difference between those different tiers. Yes it's so bad. lg that. I think that actually last night turned on the nfl network. And i was watching guys in shorts and helmets in practice. So it's like. Hey rams camp matthew stafford reported and look. He threw the ball and it's like. Hey look there's tom brady and he's with with his buccaneer teammates and then it's like. Hey there's this jordan love guy and he says he'll be ready week. One of aaron rodgers doesn't come back and i'm like oh my god. I'm watching minicamp in june because the lakers actually ended and instead of me watching an nba. Game like i should've like watch phoenix last night instead. I'm going. oh man. I'm i'm moving on like football but every sport goes through these cycles like your fan of team. You're an of a player and when that players out retires your phantom in that sport. Kinda wayne's there are people believe it or not who when peyton manning retired was kinda like well all right. I'm done and they were done. There are people. Certainly you know in the in in that. When america's top male tennis players were done. They were done. That happened to me in tennis for sure. I like the after the agassi sampras era i took a break for sure people there were exactly. We saw it in the nba. Even though like ireson and coby like the league was filled with talented players. Right but you heard people saying oh well jordan's gonna and i'm like an with me. Are you not paying attention. But i re. I remember the year. Lebron went into detroit and destroyed my entire team by himself with game five right before his first trip to the finals. And the pistons had dominated the eastern conference for a good five years or so at this point one a championship and blah blah. And i was angry and then i started watching lebron and i was like i can't be mad at this. This is roger right. This is the future and that's where we are right now where we need to be looking at like what happened to the pissed. What happened to the lakers. We lost because of injuries. No question about it but even if we were healthy that looked like that was going to be a series because we had no answer for book correct correct correct so devon booker was just insane right but if you think we're looking at the future with all these young stars that are putting on performances in the postseason when the biggest of stars like lebron steph aren't even there if we're looking at the future my question to you guys would be. This is lebron now. Part of the past. He's part of the president. He's not part of the future these present. He's not part of the future he's not in. The past is really hard if you're the reigning finals. Mvp to be in the past but you can definitely say at thirty six. We'll be thirty seven halfway through next season that he's not really part of the nba future per se Wow that's a that's a. I'm sitting here kind of thinking about all of them and think about what you're saying that whatever comes from here on out with lebron is kinda after the fact it's gravy. It's on the backside of the career it's cetera et cetera whereas the young up and coming stars are about to take over because the oldest and greatest of stars is on the way out. What happens it happens in every his superhuman i really honestly even when they were down thirty points in game six i was like oh. He's still going to come back but he is superhuman. You know why. Because he's thirty six years old. He had a high ankle sprain. He came from the shortest turnaround. Nba history and you thought he was coming back from a thirty point lead. Yeah right twice. So that's why he's superhuman. You still have those expectations right. But what makes him not superhuman is his inability to now do what we all have seen him in expected him to do yeah. We'll make some not in superhuman is the fact that he's not superhuman right. He's just human right right dude. Who yes it's better than everybody right like. We're virtually the same person other than he's the greatest basketball player of the generation. And i hit a free throw. I mean otherwise. We're the same guy exactly correct correct. Yeah i mean. I don't know about you at the same guy but i mean the other slight exaggeration. But you yeah. I gotta take a break We've got big deal or no deal coming up next listen. "Abrash in the comics you certainly come to side with him in the face of evil similarly with kali though sam had a great speech very effective a one of the best written for the show. Did you gain sympathy for carly after death. I sent me did little bit little bit. Was sam you know. I think he he phrased so eloquently that he didn't have a problem with her goals. It was her methods. That was the problem the way she was out. He literally in fact she was misguided which is exactly the point and ray continuing is still viewed her evil in the way she didn't consider human life and in brackets. He says she indirectly even says battle stars. Life was pointless very influence. She was a little bit of a sociopath that regard so though i very much sided with sam when he told off the senators i couldn't find the same empathy sam had for carly i think arro- was written quite opened down in that sense. I think we're meant to feel disgust. Then have empathy for her but it was quite a difficult thing to balance. I guess that's the point though. Everything isn't necessarily black and white. Don't think that's that's the conclusion of the message. I haven't missed any now. I just want to make sure i have anything. They're going to cut you off ray. So no exact exactly. I'm just going to check you. Troll here are the hibbs exactly. That's right now we don't we. Don't edit anything whatsoever just checking out here we go okay. Kazaa empathy. No that's it yeah. "To To know that he had come to that end that conclusion and now he's apparently get his own transitional stage in. We'll see where it goes from here. I don't know where he's going to go Guess he's going to be in the fourth of captain america movie. I assume side would certainly hope so. Anyway it seems came in and sama tight and we get that kind of its kind of the same. Yeah exactly ending with them kind of celebrating. I'm glad we kinda didn't get you know. For some reason in my head. I imagined substan- running through the streets like george bailey wishing everybody a merry. Merry christmas moving house. Yeah that's by jimmy stewart. I thought they close up. Definitely i think that was a very good. I could never do that. So yeah i was like okay. Do we get the george bailey. Montage apologies to rachel friend for Name checking it sort of life because we know how she feels about that movie. She loves that. Bill in rachel. If you're listening to hope you are sorry for sorry about that. And i hope that we will get more of isaiah moving forward because him and sam of really radi bone did yeah. We should talk about that movie. So let's set this up so all right. I just want to set this up. Because i i think it's worth addressing so afterwards save decides to go see. Excuse me isaiah again. And this is the third time and Is there interestingly enough. He get some little pushback obviously from alive once again and he has to say like boy. You need to check your attitude or something like that you know you gotta get might your maters and of isaiah. 'cause i i believe i call it. The black falcon is yes. I say it's like well. He's not the falcon anymore but he is sure his black so so Is area you know has come a long way now. He he feels that save is special than he kind of makes a joke. It's like well. You're not martin or you know mandela but who malcolm rock amac. Yeah exactly so he. He's not dr. Martin luther king malcolm x. or nelson mandela. But you know so. He's kind of give him a little bit of hard times to keep his ego. I'm guessing from getting too big. But but he does seem appreciative of sale. It probably more so is after that after a little discussion sam takes them to the smithsonian and it's a very it's one of those tear jerky moments that where you know here. You have isaiah who has been forgotten by history history you know. The the government essentially erased his history. But now let's to isaiah in july surprise. There is a statue of isaiah there at the captain america exhibit at the smithsonian big statue and life size in. You know sam tells makes a point of saying look you know you're not forgotten anymore and isaiah is just overcome by emotion to the point where he actually starts crying and he huck sam beautiful. You know what it kind of you can appreciate this chows and i'm sure the folks say this to next up everywhere. Very much vincent in the doctor moments. Oh yeah that's a great. That's a great comparison.

"Be killed by the police. Go vague ear right in superheroes which in the marvel comics. Superheroes is reflecting the world outside your window because marvel likes to say. Hey you know. We're the convicts company that addresses these kinds of things where you know. That was one of their big slogans back in back in the day that staley liked to consider marvel the the world outside your window and so when when these tv shows these marvel comics tv shows. I might stress are doing that. I think that you kind of need to appreciate why that's happening. And if you do have a problem with it you need to. I think probably should do some self exploration about why you have that problem. I'm right with you. I do think some so searching required from these individuals who feel this way not to mention if you want. tv shows to be more sophisticated russia's the way you go if you just want to kind of ignorant dumb kind of series of people fighting yeah slice. Vela's slugfest exactly. How do you expect this genre to move forward to be recognized at a higher level if you don't su dress like this also. I didn't think they were particularly preachy. Either i've seen some breaches shows. Believe you me you and i actually to knock on tangent charles for you and i watched penny dreadful city of angels right and you felt that was excessively preachy. A little bit a little bit. I know that there's some criticism of supergirl because that's show can really get up on the soapbox down then blatantly so but here i mean this subject matter that was addressed. Here you know in this episode has been addressed throughout the previous episodes. Exactly it all. This is just a culmination of that. This is where it's brought to. Its climax in the story. And you know. A very transitional. Moment for sam wilson so. I don't really get you knew that going in. Why are you suddenly so upset about it. Now unless you're just upset that again that a black man is captain america. Now i as i mentioned. I just think it's people being bought sore about where everything's been happening..

"Yes so that was nice to have that little bit of continuity throughout all these episodes because they look great in thought. She did a great job at direction in this series. Oh so well paced charles this. It was amazing how quickly this episode possibly by in the sense that just the action packed there was emotion and everything was addressed and tied up so well. I take my hat off to this. Kind of finale. Didn't few clunky. It didn't drag on and you got a little bit of everything so definitely kudos to it just carries for room for sure. And hopefully you'll get more and more projects and bigger projects. 'cause now we've seen what she can do right so hopefully she will get more more work to do when it comes to the mc for sure nice if she got a certain movie yes which will talk about this. I'm so hoping they do give her that. I think that would be a nice little bit of continuity if she she took over the next captain america movie as we learned in going to happen so we told you so if you remember last week so seeing is she ushered in this new captain america. I think we'd be only fat disney to give this woman. Yeah johnston the movie. I think she proved it. I think she proved she can handle it so here. We are the final episode. What else was your general reaction to this. Because i gather you enjoy the finale. I thought you appreciate that wrapped up a lot of loose ends like you said yes. Was there anything else that your actions regarding this episode look. I don't think you could have done any better than this. Because i suppose you possibly could have done in a second post credit scene teasing future movie. That didn't happen. But i'm still satisfied because maybe unlike one division waited. Leave a lot hanging threads hanging out. It didn't really. It was may because some people can see it as a cop out. I think this was less of a cop out. In the sense it concluded the yard. It said here is where we're at. The objective was to be a coming of age. Show if you will or the next era and they accomplished that so there was nothing. I felt unsatisfied about the only thing that was unsatisfied. About was they were anymore episode. I'll happy about it. Chose did you have any nitpicks complaints. When he came to this finale. Though i mean i was trying to read some of the online reactions to this and unfortunately there's a segment in. I kinda knew this was coming given the subject matter in this particular episode. There's a there's a contingent that obviously hated the idea that this was this episode is bogged down in. What they they feel as he'll woke miss. It's the politics of everything in in trying to understand why people for whatever reason think that a hero named captain america wouldn't have any kind of political connection exactly it comes with the territory right right the name america..
