Russia: Ukrainian drone caused blast far from border, 3 hurt
"Ukraine's government on Sunday, called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to counter what it is called the Kremlin's nuclear blackmail after Russian president Vladimir Putin revealed plans to station tactical atomic weapons in Belarus. One Ukrainian official said that Russia has taken Belarus as a nuclear hostage, but Moscow said it was making the move in response to the west's increasing military support for Ukraine. Putin announced the plan in a television interview that aired on Saturday, saying it was triggered by a UK decision this past week to provide Ukraine with armor piercing rounds containing depleted uranium, Putin argued that by deploying its tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Russia was following the lead of the United States. He noted that Washington has nuclear weapons based in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and turkey. Russia has stored its weapons at dedicated depots on its own territory and moving part of the arsenal to a storage facility in Belarus would effectively up the ante in the Ukrainian conflict in response, Ukraine's foreign ministry condemned the move, stating that the world must be united against someone who endangers the future of human civilization. Part two, but they need to repent. Never Trump Christians and their leftist allies owe us apologies. Now, again, this is uses sort of Donald Trump as the figure, but it's not just about what people did to Trump. It's what they said and did to his supporters. Because if he just stayed a real estate magnet, they wouldn't have bothered him. So it really wasn't about him. It was about his supporters. It was about the deplorables. It was about those of us who don't belong at the country club, except maybe as caddies. And like we're caddies at the country club who tried to come drink in the bar. And it's their job to get us horrible redneck white trash out of the bar. Get us out of politics and get us back on the links carrying bags, which is what we're supposed to do. What was said and done to Trump supporters over the past 6 years has been unspeakable. They accused us of wanting a dictatorship where we would imprison our political enemies. Actually, it turned out that's what the Democrats wanted. They accused us of being fascist, but they're the ones who wanted the lockdown to lock down people in their homes and close their churches and make them lose their jobs and close their businesses. Can this year's Bruins really be considered NHL's best team ever?

The 1976 77 Canadians, those habs finished 68 and 12 for 132 points, and they did it without the benefit of overtime or shoot out, considered one of the greatest teams ever, the Canadians could have easily won anywhere from 6 to 8 of those tie games. Why Simon Campbell Went to War With Local Pennsylvania Authorities
"Those who missed our chat on my newsmax show recently in the last time you were on the show, just give us a little crazy little summary of why you went to war with the local authorities in Pennsylvania and who ended up winning eventually. Yeah, right. Well, the local school board in Pennsylvania a bunch of 9 left wing radical liberals were silencing people at public comments, three citizens before me got silenced. That's why I showed up in Malibu. They weren't allowed to speak. Exactly. They showed up a public comment to criticize the critical race theory program and they were basically told to shut up, sit down and be quiet. And it was all on videotape. So I found out about it. And I'm like, right, well, you're going to get a piece of my mind. And they tried to shut me up as you saw. And so the four of us sued them in federal court for First Amendment violations. And we won an injunctive order against the district saying you're not allowed to enforce this piece of garbage unconstitutional speech policy. And then they ended up selling the case for $300,000. Paid to the lawyers, of course, because the lawyers make the money. And for my trouble as a plaintiff, I got the grand total of $17 91 cents. Now you tell me Sebastian, 1791. Does that ring a bell to you? I love it. I just want to know, how did you engineer that your reward was $70 and 91 cents? Well, here's the thing. When you file a First Amendment lawsuit, you can only get what's called nominal damages because it's not like you're claiming you broke your back or anything like that. And so you have to put a figure in for the court and I said, well, I will update it. It means something. I want the year the Bill of Rights as enacted. I want those suds to send a British citizen a check for 1791 and don't mess with it, but a citizen's First Amendment rights again or I'll get 1791 from you.

Boris Epshteyn Reacts to Ron DeSantis' Latest Interview
"Talk about the disaster that is Alvin Bragg, but first things first. A couple of disastrous interviews for Ron DeSantis without pathetic individual peers and Morgan, then he didn't exactly shower himself with glory with my colleague at Eric bolling, and then Ron DeSantis had this comment to make, which I found rather amusing. This is cut 5 baron your reaction. So here's the thing, I think these are people who are in the political class, journalists class, politicians, and like D.C. in particular, they get mad, I don't do the cocktail parties. I don't like rubbing elbows with other people. I like doing my job and then spending time with my family. That's just what I do. A lot of the people that are criticizing, you know, they would say, oh, he doesn't do well with donors. He doesn't glad him with him. And yet I raise more money than any non presidential candidate in the history of America. Are you kidding me? So we tend to do. We do well. But I do think that ideal better with regular people than I do with some of the people in the political class. Help me out here, mister senior adviser for the Trump 2024 campaign. Allegedly, the governor of Florida doesn't like robbing elbows with donors, doesn't do the cocktail circuit, but he didn't speak at cpac because he wasn't a big fundraiser. I'm confused. Help me out, baron. There is anything to use a considering that he just had a few weeks ago I had a whole concept multi day concept at a very decrepit, very every day, very middle American resort called the four seasons in Palm Beach, Florida. This is absolute typical establishment nonsense like Mitt Romney used to find in an airplane to Iowa and get into a get into a fancy car. Find those private jets, get into a fancy limo and then get into a Chevrolet to go to a rally. Typical inauthentic old school politics, which has failed time and time again and it is not what the American people want. The American people want authenticity from president Donald J Trump.

Bitcoin at $1,000,000 in 90 Days? The Insane Bet by Balaji Srinivasan
"Bitcoin to $1 million in 90 days? That's what the former CTO of coinbase thinks and more than a few people are taking him seriously. All right Friends, welcome back to another Bitcoin breakdown bite. We are talking about obviously the same thing that everyone is talking about, which, as it turns out, might be the point. That is biology, srinivasan, the former CTO of coinbase, and generally highly regarded if out there sometimes thinker, he has predicted that Bitcoin will go to $1 million inside the next 90 days, largely because of societal collapse on the back of the banking system. So McKenna here sums this up, biology thinks, most banks are insolvent in the U.S., Bitcoin goes to 1 million 90 days, hyperinflation is imminent, converted 99% of net worth to Bitcoin, U.S. Civil War happens, effing wild. All right, so we obviously today are going to get into what exactly biology is talking about and then all the responses and I'll give you a little bit of my take at the end of it. So, a few days ago, biology put up this tweet called the bit signal. He says, how do you ring the fire alarm on the Internet? How do you show it's not a false alarm? I'm putting up the bit signal. Now, this first version of this tweeter, this first tweet was basically a request for people to share the best charts, graphs, statistics that show effectively how screw the current financial system is, the type of thing that biology argues you wouldn't get from normal mainstream media and he was going to give a $1000 in Bitcoin for the best thousand tweets. He is arguing here that the existing system, the central bankers, et cetera, have hid insolvency from us and they're about to print a huge amount of money in order to save themselves from that. And so Bitcoin is likely to be the recipient, but more than just Bitcoin, it's about the underlying story. So that went up on March 16th. Then the next day, on March 17th, someone says, I'll bet anyone $1 million that the U.S. does not enter hyperinflation. James medlock is a neoliberal guy or whatever, I guess he says social Democrat in the streets, market socialists in the sheets. And so he has this bet on Twitter and biology says I will take that bet. You buy one Bitcoin, I will send 1 million USD odds 40 to one odds as Bitcoin is worth about 26 term is 90 days. Blah, blah, blah, blah, and all the terms and stuff. And this just set the Internet on fire.

The Bible Recap
God Can Work Anything to His Glory
"Before we launch into today's recap, we need to remember something we read in deuteronomy 20 to help it all make sense. In that chapter, God gave very different instructions on how the Israelites were supposed to handle cities outside of the promised land versus cities inside the promised land. For cities outside Canaan, they were supposed to greet the cities with peace and kill only the males, and only if they opposed them. But for those inside Canaan, they were supposed to operate by a principal called cherem, where everything is dedicated to yahweh and devoted to destruction. As we've talked about before, God used this practice to serve multiple purposes. Today we meet another group of people from gibbon. They're called the gibby and ice or the hivites, and they've apparently gotten word of God's instructions to the Israelites. They lived in Canaan, but decided to pretend like they didn't, so they could get the more lenient treatment and not be entirely destroyed. Pretty sneaky, they ask Israel to enter into a protective covenant with them. Remember yesterday how Joshua won the battle against Jericho, then failed to ask God for guidance when fighting against AI, and they lost, then he won against AI when he followed God's commands, it seems like he learned very little from that incident because here he is, failing to ask God for guidance again, and just forging out on his own. So he gets duped into making a covenant with his enemies, which is in direct violation of God's commands to Israel in deuteronomy 7. Pretty quickly, the Israelites find out they've been deceived, and they want to destroy the gibby a nights. But the israelite leaders tell them that they have to keep their covenant and that they'll just have to sever the consequences of their sin and entering into the covenant. But they don't kill the gibby knights slash hivites, and instead just assign them to do manual labor in the service of the temple, which makes the gibby a nights pretty happy because they know they've avoided being destroyed. One thing I find interesting about this is that even God's enemies who have deceived God's people end up serving God's purposes and glory.

What he's been able to accomplish and now what he's doing after his career with TV and obviously part owner now of the jazz and so he's doing big things and I'm happy for him. And he grudges from your MBA career. Anybody who wrote into you to be like not turn around walking the other way or you know me, I'm super easygoing. There is a few guys that are a little sensitive. They thought that I got them traded. Which of course is not really the case. It's a fine line of being a franchise player and sometimes being involved on the business side or knowing about trade rumors and stuff like that. But other than that, I don't have any grudges against our teammates or exponents, not at all. I usually got to I got to the gym. I try to help my team win and I was all about business and then I went home to my family or do my own thing. So I was I was never really getting too involved with opponents. And it wasn't just the ceremony. There were some time where you guys were, I think, gathered up for some photo opportunities and everything else. I think the Cavs practice court. What was that like were there guys that you set out? Did you when you arrived the weekend? Were there guys that you're like, I need to meet this guy, 'cause I had met him before or just people you wanted to rub elbows with for the first time. Tell me, who were the big ones for you? Well, I got to say that was the most special moment of that weekend. I was a little late. And then I came in on the cast practice and I walked in and almost everybody was there already. And just seeing everybody and that was, I think, the most special moment for me just the wow effect, like I'm a part of this group right here. Look around, this is fantastic. So I think that was the most special moment of the whole weekend walking on the cast practice facility that was unbelievable. Really shared some great lasso with everybody to talk to schacht, doctor Charles Barkley, of course, who I love. Got to meet bob Pettit for the first time. That was super cool. Talk to Kareem a little bit of had a photo shoot for the whole 75 thing a few months earlier and there was not one guy talked to Kevin McHale a bunch and the admiral, of course, big fan. So I don't know. It was just super cool to be in that room and being part of the crew. And I missed a couple. I wish timid Duncan was there, you know, Carl Malone or my boy Steve Nash, I missed a couple of the guys that are shared with some great battles with, but it's still amazing the guys that guys that were there..

"It's thursday august nineteenth and it always had to be this way for did it. We start here in an exclusive interview. President biden defiantly defended his choices on afghanistan. The idea that somehow there is a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing. I don't know how that happens with desperation gripping the streets and pandemonium on the runway and you don't think this could have been handled better in any way no mistakes george. Stephanopoulos walks us through his one on one conversation and she made out of kabul for sister. Dinner not change. They are rating houses. They shot full. They beat them go inside. The conversations between family members as the taliban begins knocking on doors from abc news. This is a special edition of start. Here i'm brad. Mielke united states has one commander in chief at a time but when it comes to afghanistan the last several american presidents republicans democrats have made remarkably similar decisions taliban regime. It's coming to an end since initial invasion when things get bad you send in more troops. It has been a tough month in afghanistan. But it's also been tough month for the taliban. I make this decision. Because i am convinced that our security is at stake in afghanistan and pakistan. When things seemed calmer you start to draw them down. We have agreed that this is the year we will conclude our combat mission in afghanistan. But then things get fat again right so for nineteen years. No commander in chief has simply vacated afghanistan. America will work with the afghan government as long as we see determination and progress however our commitment is not unlimited until now many who argue that we should stay stay in afghanistan because withdrawal when damage america's credibility and we can america's influence in the world. I believe the exact opposite is true. Any images that accompany this withdrawal are just as bad if not worse than what those other commanders in chief might have imagined strongholds falling within hours. Afghan leaders accused of corruption. Saying yeah yeah. Alabama city is yours. I can go to cafes. I can go to restaurants. I can go shopping. Grew staying home wary of being seen. What some guy deems immodest dress and perhaps the most gut wrenching images so far people holding onto an american plane for dear life as our personnel fled the country without them. There's one commander in chief at a time so yesterday. Abc's own george. Stephanopoulos became the first journalist to sit down with president at the white house. Since biden made the final call in kabul descended into chaos and minutes after that interview. George got into a car and gave us a call. There is george how are you. I'm doing all right. How are you. I'm rushing a union station. let's not this out l. Let's do this. So i mean you spoke to president biden the white house clearly. He's sticking with his decision. Here right how did he characterize his decision making process to you. Know second guessing at all. He took on those who said that the intelligence showed that we'd have this kind of rapid collapse of the afghan military and government back in july. You said a taliban takeover with highly unlikely was the intelligence wrong or did you downplay it. I think there was no consensus. You go back and look at the intelligence reports. They said that like more likely to be sometime by the end of the year. He said no one told what happens quickly. The idea that the taliban would take over was premised on the notion that the somehow the three hundred thousand troops we trained and equipped was going to collapse. We're going to give up. I don't think anybody anticipated time. They'll take by version to keep a small force there. He suggested that he was being told. It would take several thousand more troops for von period of time and a lot of lives if we were to say. He's not second guessing his decision. I don't think this could have been handled. This actually could have been handled better in any way. No mistakes no. I don't think it could have been handled in a way that they're going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there's a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing. I don't know how that happens. I don't know how that happened so for you. That was always priced into the decision. Yes and so he saying there was intelligence but was this a failure then to listen to the intelligence or he's just saying we always knew this would happen. I i asked him. Was it a failure of intelligence planning execution or judgment. He conceded nothing. he says. This is basically always going to happen when we withdrew when you had the government of afghanistan the leader that government getting a plane and taking off going another country when you saw the significant collapse of the of the afghan troops. We had trained to three hundred thousand of them just leaving their equipment and taking off that was you know this is what happened as simply what happened he. Where does this go here. Things get worse if people start being slaughtered if women are being arrested or beaten for going to school like is the plan. That's going to be like. Hey the taliban they were in the country now. The president is sticking by that august thirty first deadline with one big exception. He saying that troops will stay if we stop to get americans out and if we stopped to get a little more on our afghan allies interpreters translators. People helped us through the war effort commitment holes to get everyone out that in fact we can get out and everyone should come out and that's the objective. That's what we're doing now. That's the path. And i think we'll get so american should understand the troops might have to be there beyond august thirty. First know america's and understand that we're going to try to get it done before august but if we don't the troops don't will determine if the time who's left and and if you're american forces if there's american citizens left we're gonna stay little get them all out s for you know. The taliban taking over the president said it's a matter of priorities. It's matter par hard-boiled nash. Security calculation so there are a lot of countries where women are are subjugated where women are discriminated against women face violence and lack of rights. He said well we don't. We can't send our military in a to solve those problems in every country in the world to such high stakes for all these decisions here and the pictures are almost universally alarming to americans right. But i do think that it's tricky for americans to figure out you know who's responsible for these images right. Is it president biden because of the way he just did this withdrawal. This president trump actually kind of orchestrated negotiated withdrawal. Talking about george w bush forever. I mean how does biden see this as his mission or z. Cleaning up after others. He's been pretty consistent over the last fifteen years. He wanted so that. I think that's one of the reasons. He's not conflicted right now or not communicating any sense of being conflicted about this decision. But we've all seen the pictures we've seen those hundreds of people packed into a c. Seventeen we've seen afghans falaise four days ago five days ago. What did you think when you first saw those pictures. I thought was weird. We have to gain control this. We have to move this more quickly. We have to move in a way in which we can take control that airport and we did. He did suggest that had president trump made the agreement with the taliban might have had a slightly different time. Why but no second guessing at all on the big decision the strategic decision to withdraw from afghanistan. Last question political one i. I don't know if it's too soon to go to politics. But what does this do for. The image of the joe biden white house and the democratic party going forward with. That's going to be a big question. I don't think. I don't think we know yet. I was talking to some white house officials today. Suggest they do you think he could take a bit of it there on the other hand i think the president is firmly believes that the american public pretty firmly agrees with him on the big picture. The twenty years in.

"Abrash in the comics you certainly come to side with him in the face of evil similarly with kali though sam had a great speech very effective a one of the best written for the show. Did you gain sympathy for carly after death. I sent me did little bit little bit. Was sam you know. I think he he phrased so eloquently that he didn't have a problem with her goals. It was her methods. That was the problem the way she was out. He literally in fact she was misguided which is exactly the point and ray continuing is still viewed her evil in the way she didn't consider human life and in brackets. He says she indirectly even says battle stars. Life was pointless very influence. She was a little bit of a sociopath that regard so though i very much sided with sam when he told off the senators i couldn't find the same empathy sam had for carly i think arro- was written quite opened down in that sense. I think we're meant to feel disgust. Then have empathy for her but it was quite a difficult thing to balance. I guess that's the point though. Everything isn't necessarily black and white. Don't think that's that's the conclusion of the message. I haven't missed any now. I just want to make sure i have anything. They're going to cut you off ray. So no exact exactly. I'm just going to check you. Troll here are the hibbs exactly. That's right now we don't we. Don't edit anything whatsoever just checking out here we go okay. Kazaa empathy. No that's it yeah. He everything isn't necessarily black and white so okay so i just went to double check. Okay yeah well. Thank you ray for riding in very much. Yeah next time you can. It's you're okay to come through the front window front door instead of the back window. Like i said exactly we. You woke of your concern. We we definitely appreciate you listening. "Be killed by the police. Go vague ear right in superheroes which in the marvel comics. Superheroes is reflecting the world outside your window because marvel likes to say. Hey you know. We're the convicts company that addresses these kinds of things where you know. That was one of their big slogans back in back in the day that staley liked to consider marvel the the world outside your window and so when when these tv shows these marvel comics tv shows. I might stress are doing that. I think that you kind of need to appreciate why that's happening. And if you do have a problem with it you need to. I think probably should do some self exploration about why you have that problem. I'm right with you. I do think some so searching required from these individuals who feel this way not to mention if you want. tv shows to be more sophisticated russia's the way you go if you just want to kind of ignorant dumb kind of series of people fighting yeah slice. Vela's slugfest exactly. How do you expect this genre to move forward to be recognized at a higher level if you don't su dress like this also. I didn't think they were particularly preachy. Either i've seen some breaches shows. Believe you me you and i actually to knock on tangent charles for you and i watched penny dreadful city of angels right and you felt that was excessively preachy. A little bit a little bit. I know that there's some criticism of supergirl because that's show can really get up on the soapbox down then blatantly so but here i mean this subject matter that was addressed. Here you know in this episode has been addressed throughout the previous episodes. Exactly it all. This is just a culmination of that. This is where it's brought to. Its climax in the story. And you know. A very transitional. Moment for sam wilson so. I don't really get you knew that going in. Why are you suddenly so upset about it. Now unless you're just upset that again that a black man is captain america. Now i as i mentioned. I just think it's people being bought sore about where everything's been happening..

"Yes so that was nice to have that little bit of continuity throughout all these episodes because they look great in thought. She did a great job at direction in this series. Oh so well paced charles this. It was amazing how quickly this episode possibly by in the sense that just the action packed there was emotion and everything was addressed and tied up so well. I take my hat off to this. Kind of finale. Didn't few clunky. It didn't drag on and you got a little bit of everything so definitely kudos to it just carries for room for sure. And hopefully you'll get more and more projects and bigger projects. 'cause now we've seen what she can do right so hopefully she will get more more work to do when it comes to the mc for sure nice if she got a certain movie yes which will talk about this. I'm so hoping they do give her that. I think that would be a nice little bit of continuity if she she took over the next captain america movie as we learned in going to happen so we told you so if you remember last week so seeing is she ushered in this new captain america. I think we'd be only fat disney to give this woman. Yeah johnston the movie. I think she proved it. I think she proved she can handle it so here. We are the final episode. What else was your general reaction to this. Because i gather you enjoy the finale. I thought you appreciate that wrapped up a lot of loose ends like you said yes. Was there anything else that your actions regarding this episode look. I don't think you could have done any better than this. Because i suppose you possibly could have done in a second post credit scene teasing future movie. That didn't happen. But i'm still satisfied because maybe unlike one division waited. Leave a lot hanging threads hanging out. It didn't really. It was may because some people can see it as a cop out. I think this was less of a cop out. In the sense it concluded the yard. It said here is where we're at. The objective was to be a coming of age. Show if you will or the next era and they accomplished that so there was nothing. I felt unsatisfied about the only thing that was unsatisfied. About was they were anymore episode. I'll happy about it. Chose did you have any nitpicks complaints. When he came to this finale. Though i mean i was trying to read some of the online reactions to this and unfortunately there's a segment in. I kinda knew this was coming given the subject matter in this particular episode. There's a there's a contingent that obviously hated the idea that this was this episode is bogged down in. What they they feel as he'll woke miss. It's the politics of everything in in trying to understand why people for whatever reason think that a hero named captain america wouldn't have any kind of political connection exactly it comes with the territory right right the name america..
