Blake Masters: Mark Kelly Won't Admin Money Printing Is a Problem

"So the audience wants to hear from you not me Let's just think through a couple issues the jour inflation a real problem Blake I mean the Democrats and swampy Republicans which I like and you take it to both the swamp on both sides They're starting to figure out you can't print trillions of dollars of money and suffer no repercussions So what do we do about it Well we really do have to stop this crazy crazy spending Dan I know that sounds like an old school talking point But man the economy is cratering and we know why You can't spend $6 trillion in one year and not expect any inflation My incumbent Democrat opponent Mark Kelly though He won't even admit that the money printing is the problem He literally crips the Elizabeth Warren line and says oh inflation is caused when all the greedy businessmen get together and conspire to raise prices Are they lying to us or are they economically illiterate I'm not sure but we got to throw them out of office and stop printing so much money

David Gergen Shares His Experiences in the Nixon Administration

"David, I want to start because there's some people in the audience. I get new affiliates every month, and we get 400 and right now. I want them to know that you work for RN, you work for Gerald Ford, you work for Ronald Reagan, you work for Clinton. But you have different sort of styles and roles for each of them. Let's start with president Nixon. What'd you do in the Nixon White House? Nixon White House, I came in, I've been in the navy. I went to law school and I went in the navy for three and a half years. My last year, you know, I was assigned to come back to come to Washington to work on draft reform. That was the time when Nixon had launched a random lottery to determine what draft number you got and whether you're going to go to Vietnam or not. And we tried to clean that up, they ran a bogus in some ways, I ran the moderator first year out. I'll tell you, you have time for a little story. We got lots of time. We can go a long time today. Okay, super. Well, so the next one out of The White House orders a random lottery to determine who goes to Vietnam. The Lewis Hershey was then head of the draft. He was sort of the J. Edgar Hoover of the drafts. And so Hershey did something they did back in the Second World War, which was a very popular war. They got a bowl, they got capsules, and they put January 1 in the first capsule, put it in a bowl, and then January 2, all the days of January, then February, all the way up through the days of December the last ones into the boat. Got a spoon started up a little bit. Put it in the closet. And then on the day on the random monitor, they brought it to bowl, reached in for number one, you ought to Vietnam. And it was like November 15th. And then all of the early all of the early numbers and all of the early draws were from late in the year. So the whole thing was tilted.

"Kids. I remember when the internet started what what does that even mean was. That was that before tiktoker. When was that like they didn't even is crazy. I wanna i wanna double click on lebron. I mean i guess you have to. You have to ask about the and the perfect person to ask you teammate. For many years but Yeah i mean he's just beast. Yeah i wrote about him quite a bit. You know he was. He was pretty much to muse for the section on taking care of your body I had never seen anybody like that Since a young age Stretch an have routines and stay with this regimen and you could tell back then. He was on a quest to be the best in the world. You know and and even. I never felt like that from another player to be like. Oh he's doing something. I haven't even seen all the time and it will push me to get better And that's why i write about is so much in this particular book because you know i got to see him Both he and wayne how much they put into carmelo. He's still game. Yeah absolutely i mean. I would love to know what he's doing because he's obviously doing something because he's still plan right here. We go back to the high school camp. These your peers is your your guys like we're all going to the league. Yeah what's it like to end. And i know you're situations very different than theirs. But what is it when you watch a game and you see these guys. Still on the court still duncan's wins still making the doe. Ray me yeah is that was. I feel like it used to feel bad. I used to feel it was a fill in. I had to get over. Took a couple of years you know are wanting to be out there. Obviously you can't have longevity in this game because they're proven that and and if you would have asked me five years ago ten years ago. Sure i'm still going to be playing and bef- you know i'll be in that mode and my career i'm figuring it out and you know just trying to one more year but at least i could go out on my own terms or whatever but it took a while to get over but i'm having i'm to watch them do it. I mean. I don't wanna play basketball. I haven't played basketball and years and so mired their commitment to the game and and just submit to their body and the sacrifice they're making 'cause man. I work out but running up and down taking that those beatings. Those hotels it gets it gets tough. That's fine i watch. I watch a lot more basketball now. That my my little guys. Just so passionate about. But i never. I didn't really watch that much basketball. As i w- and watch to your point like this is the game way more physical than people think you really watch him getting banged and knocked and you know elbows blood..

"We'll love blaze to stay when we go there. But i feel bad because the what was that hotel chain that you were talking about nicole awhile back that we both had been to the same one in our all these nice things. I really wanted to go back to that one up for hotel points this time. It was a helpless brown. Yeah i think it was a marriott. Brown was wearing town place or town. Yeah yeah so. I wanted to go to that. But they didn't either their book that we wore of this. They don't want to exchange for points for some reason because we got it through points last year. But i couldn't get it this year. We did get a place. it's very close about. That'll be nice. But that's a that's a good way to able to use the timeshare. yes and using it for. I think when. I was going to do it again this year for some reason. That option wasn't available. So i think as part of marriott's bond voi- transformation for playing fast with some of their programs. I have to dear listened to a presentation to figure out what that is all about. But i would really like to keep doing our timeshare. I'm really sad that we're not but You know it's just hard. It's just a time in our family life. I guess that it's not It's not feasible right so at some point. I don't want to get rid of it. Because at some point the kids will get squared away. Either will go back to taking family trips or reckon. I'll just go by herself. It will have their own things. But know her. So i haven't been doing a lot of travel websites stuff but i understand how frustrating in their way today in the fees and the stuff that is not as advertised. That is very infuriating. Because you don't. I find those those kinds of sites in the whole idea of online travel finding kind of overwhelming and i'm never one hundred percent sure i'm doing it right and so you get through all that stuff and you decide. Make your decision and you make your commitment. And that turns out to be that they've been leading you on. That would be infuriating. You put a lot of stressful thinking into that night. Sometimes i have to book for skating for judges when we bring judges into town and so that is another whole layer of like sometimes they'll book it and we pay them back in. That's the ideal solution but other times. They want me to book it. And so i have to research all the options. Send them an email. That says okay. These are all the time you know. What what do you put this okay. And then they either say like well. I'd rather go to this airport or blah blah blah and you know it's like another layer of it nosing information back and forth and i'm worried that their flights are gonna fill up in whole thing so one more year that chop one more event twelve exactly. Yes while the us where we used to do. We used to go to travel stuff. Right is in the dark days. We do ourselves on phone. Remember though old land. that's it for. "Of what. He wants his team to play with the roma. There was some really good things. Romance some not so good. I think in the end. He's he's someone with a very strong percentet`y and i think that's important for spurs. So what done to him. What to them. They needed someone to come in and prepare for next season. Two to work on the recruitment. We do the new sports director. Who's been instrumental in bringing to the club. What does it mean for hurricane because we saw when there was the cantera rumors that he said he don't be communist hurricane sticking around as a manager like second half the way to demand backs. I don't i don't think so. There's nothing that anyone can demand you. Me is just think from tried to convince hurricane to stay and we would present him the project he's project and how he would fit in the project but he wants to go and he cannot find the right words all the again the project to convince him to stay then. Ken will keep pushing to leave the club and then to move out. So i don't think fonseca another one in mexico huge difference really for hurricane however fonseca. We'll have a project like we said a strong identity. And maybe maybe maybe that can convince came to stage at least one more year. What do you think of this situation. Stevie it's a strange summer. Isn't it with all these swapping around and managerial positions. We're seeing so many already been announced while we were beginning to see the the time where general managers owners are beginning to think. Is it really about the manager is or is it just about having a good group of players together because with so many changes you have to wonder what that opinion of of the head coach. The head coach used to run the show. No it seems like the puppets is probably a little strong. But it seems like as general managers directors. football's just they fee for game. "I see cal may be an hesitant at least last night. When they were getting their asses warped. I see kyle kuzma being hesitant. I see dennis schroder being very hesitant and for those are going to sit back and just say well you know. Lebron will turn it on. He'll just given that big performance in game six and seven and everything will be fine man. A compromised lebron james as far as injury is concerned in age and mileage to his nba career. How many game. Six boston Eastern conference final performances. Does he have left. How many awesome -demia lillard type god-like performances does lebron. James have left. You know there's gonna come a time that will bronze say okay. Time to get serious and let god modem put this game away. Let me impose my will. There is going to come a time where he's going to Look for that. It is not going to be there. He's gonna look to stick their key into the nation in that. That motor is not going to start up. The engine is not gonna start running. Are we speaking about this happening. Now as i mentioned before in part also because of the injury to his ankle think is foolish for those who just feel that okay. Lebron will just be lebron and we'll just go ahead and he'll just you know pull us out of the fire no big deal. He'll just carry us. I don't think lebron is capable of carrying teams on his back anymore. I really don't he might be able to do it for a quarter he might be able to do it for a half. But if you're expecting lebron james to carry the los angeles lakers when you have dennis twitter showing no confidence when you're having coups show. No confidence will you not having any type of outside shooting at all when you're having how Alice caruso getting burp burnt. Toast by devon booker. When you have the big for la getting dominated or getting worked by deondraye eytan the though things kit just all of a sudden become mirages and become nonfactor. Lebron says okay. Time for me to go into lebron mode not going to happen and i don't think it's going to happen for an entire game. Let alone two. It might happen for now. If the lakers are in a ballgame game six three or four point game with seven six minutes to go into the fourth quarter lebron can give those spurts where he can take over the game but ask him to do that for an extended amount of time..

"What was going to be the plight. What was going to be the mindset of the los angeles clippers but their defense. Tighten up Morris morris twins came in and did and did great and in game four. You could see a compromise. Luca dot edge to the t the way that he was moving out. There don't know if they can get any better don't know and terms of nerve damage or anything that he's dealing with right now. We'll get any better to him. Do him to get to the level of play that he was in games. One and two of the series but on paper. The mavericks are better team than the los angeles clippers. They can't play defense. They rely on luca. Too much. And for the clippers. You have paul george. You have kawhi leonard. You have a championship coaching Tyler even though you have one on the dallas mavericks sideline would recall al. But i mean this to be a six game series even before the series starlet between the mavericks and the los angeles clippers the clippers. Go ahead and win the series in six games. It'll be. I told you so with a little bit of a twist in there because no one would have thought that the clippers could come back and win series after being down. Oh two in the way. They started games game number three windows role in sports. I'm your host under wallace so glad you could be with us. The rock fight known at the atlanta hawks in the new york knicks continues. You see clint cappella. Talk some shit about. They're not the that kind of stuff and this that and the other whatever man. That's that's cool. That's great whatever. Roxie boatman i. I don't know. I mean for those who sit there and go. Ooh don't abort material being down three the one blood to board material enough. I mean if you're the if you're the new york knicks that's going to be a fire you up by somehow someway. You need that to get yourself rip roaring raid. Go if that's the case man. I don't think you guys have shot a winning. I'm george randolph has not been the regular season. Julius randle most improve. Yeah that's great. But julius randle has never been in this situation with the responsibility that he had as the main focal point of the team for a team. That's in the playoffs. And trae young. As i mentioned before man part of the younger generation of these guys that are coming in in doing great work. I like atlanta Nate mcmillan the coach of the hawks. He's trying to exorcise demons himself. After first. round flameouts at the coach of indiana. So i don't think that the patriots are going to see me. I don't think that the hawks are going to win game five but i think the wrap things up in game six..

"At this period of time of the season with embiid health history. He's not going to be one hundred percent but if he could be in as far as health wise is concerned the best predicament of his life concerning that. And he's going to be going up against the brooklyn nets naming from anybody from brooklyn. That's going to stop them. If embiid is going to say you know what i'm going to dominate. I wanna average thirty five and eighteen game thirty five point. Eighteen rebound three block shots a game incompletely. Shut down the Completely shut down the rim. i'm going be a major rim-protector if joel had that mindset in. Nf joel was in the physical health that he could carry out on that mindset that he would have dominate. Who are brooklyn is going to stop them. Who are brooklyn is going to slow down. who on milwaukee. It's going to slow him down as sure as hell ain't gonna be lopez it ain't gonna be bobby portis. It ain't going to be honest in the cuco and when you go to the nets shrink be blake griffin assuring. Going gonna be deandre jordan. Still damn sure ain't going to be jeff green sure ain't gonna be claxton. So who the hell was going to be able to contain. Slowdown minimize the damage the destruction. That joel embiid was going to do if he didn't have a knee injury that he suffered against the washington wizards how devastating it. How bad is it something to wear by the time. If the seventy sixers make it to the eastern conference finals that he would be ready to dominate against the winner of the nets box. We will see we will see. But he's so important especially as many before. Ben simmons if you're going to continue to be Iffy shooting free throws then the loss of embiid is going to linger in hurt even longer and have damaging effects long past them having to play another game against my washington wizards windows world sports. I'm your host wendell wallace so glad that you could be with us memphis Memphis utah as soon as students. Going to be over dallas and the clippers. Man you know. What i i want to apologize for. Tyler apologized to tie lou. And all those guys i. I thought that i had podcast will. Listen to my last podcast. I was up there talking about. Yeah man you know. This is going to be a situation where raw. Yeah the What's going to be happening. I had the conversation. What's going to be happening if the mavericks come back. Comb 'em win their games. They're two games against the clippers. Which means that the clippers season would be over and they would be swept for nothing which would then extend their losing streak to what seven games or some nonsense like that. What direction would the los angeles clippers be going now. I'm not saying that this series is over just yet. Despite the injury to luka doncic the wouldn't it wouldn't shock me at all if the clippers came out in lost game five but they shouldn't quiet been awesome. Paul george give the man. Credit where credit is due has been awesome. The bench players. Jackson has been much better than i thought. Rondo at become playoff rondo again. That's nothing more than a positive for the los angeles clippers. They play great after being down thirty to eleven actress watching. They get him at this. Like tyrod lou. Why are you having do box in the game. They're just they're just you know hunting him out in dr to shooting step back. Threes flat flat flat next you thirty to eleven now. One part told me that while you know. There's no way that because those shots that dante's were making were contested but it's like okay now we this shooting percentage or this the way the dallas shooting ball. This can't last forever. But they were down thirty to eleven..

"The brooklyn nets. The end of the brad stevens. Coaching era was finally late bare. It was finally done in and finally taken off life support by who kyrie irving over boston. Celtics fans man. It's got to sting with the stickiness of a stinger. Stinger a splash. So there you go with that ma'am so there is speculation. That jason kidd lloyd pearson. Some others are going to be at the top of the list in terms of candidates for the boston celtics job. Jason taylor tweeted that assistant coach. Evan turner could be a guy that he would wanna see at the head coach of the celtics. This is a Fabulous position in the nba. Now i don't know if stevens is going to be able to have the type of success that danny aines had over a long period of time that position stevens has had no experience at all Dealing with foreign office matters but We'll see we will see but the second round of the playoffs here was speaking about in the windows. World and sports to podcast. I'm your host the wall so glad that you could be with us man brooklyn versus milwaukee. That's going to be fantastic. My milwaukee putting the final blow pulling the death blow for the season of the miami heat proving that you know what the They weren't scared they weren't running away. They weren't trying to avoid will be their personal bogeyman. Off of what. The miami heat did last season in the bubble where they beat milwaukee four to one where the whole speculation was if the bucks underachieve in a playoff. This is going to be going to miami. Jaanus is going to be going to Dallas such but They vanquished that demon they vanquished those bad memories by jess beaten. The shit out of the miami heat and pulling them out of pulling them out of the misery at the end of game four. So the miami heat had their questions on whether what they wanna do what they wanna do. Duncan robinson what they wanna do jimmy butler what they're going to be doing with tyler hero Was the season. The bubble season the end or the restart of the season from last year. And what the miami heat did with with that a fluke will that something where you know. Maybe they were playing a fool's gold and any type of expectations. This season that get their near where they were at the end of last season would have been an unrealistic pipe dream Everything set great for the heat while they're in the bubble. They couldn't do anything they couldn't go anywhere. There were no distractions. All they could do is work. Work work work work on. They're craft and work on basketball and a a and isolated segregated type of a situation where they couldn't go out. They couldn't go anywhere they couldn't do anything for miami heat and for erik spoelstra in the miami heat culture that fit them to not once they were away from that environment and got back to normal civilized living We still we saw what happened now. Look the heat went to the nba finals. So along the los angeles lakers. They had the short turnaround in terms of getting ready for next season for the season..

"Kind of Mixed together especially with cove is fucking up everything but whenever that period of time happened. That's when brad. Stevens will add was at its apex. Little did we know in terms of coaching in the nba. And if we wanna say i go around stevens. Who's only forty four. We can go ahead. Say that but it was interesting to know that in the career of brad stevens is first time around coaching. The boston celtics that at that moment. The game seven loss to cleveland at home in the eastern conference finals that would be the high point of his career. Stevens would never reach those types of height of of Success or glorification or deification or whatever type of fixation to throw out there as far as being greatest concern. That was the highest for brad stevens. After that eight-man everything kinda went downhill very slow way but from going toward but from going from being basically five minutes away from going to the nba championship to where he is now. talking about. You know time for me to move on and do something else at far as the game of basketball for the boston. Celtics is concerned. I don't think too many people saw that. I think if you wanna check back three or four years ago that you will have probably speculated that the celtics would be winning three or four championships by now or at least they would have been in the finals. Two to three to four years especially with lebron. If you knew. Lebron was going to leave cleveland and go back to the west leaving the western conference wide open. You would think that at the time a team that had jayson tatum and jaylen brown. And kyrie irving and gordon hayward and all those guys that they would be the team that would replace cleveland at the perennial contenders for the nba championship the best contenders for the nba championship from the eastern conference. But kyrie irving messed up. All of those deals and the steal of the century. That people called. When ain't fleeced. Billy king in the brooklyn nets sending a washed up over the hill. Way patrick duo of kevin garnett and paul pierce to the brooklyn nets in exchange for a boatload of First round draft picks that you would have thought that man. This was going to be the key. This was going to be the herschel. Walker dallas cowboys minnesota. Vikings type deal where it propelled the dallas cowboys and jimmy johnson to a mini dynasty. That's what he thought was going to be the That was gonna be equal to what happened in the nba. That because of for offs Desire to win himself championship of as quickly as possible that he instructed billy king under any means necessary. They'll go get two guys that were way past their prime through..

Cutest wasn't getting the notoriety judas getting the respect that he deserved so because of that despite the fact that you did everything humanly possible and post games up a press conferences. He talked about how great cutest been. He talked about you know. This guy has an opportunity to be one of the best if not the best big men who ever played the georgetown university despite the fact that he got every single touched by the fact of his limitations that he was the the foundation for the offense at georgetown right rant despite all of that because his pimp because of his guardian the selling you know what because jordan was winning enough cumulus is not getting the response or he's not getting the door notoriety that that he deserves to transfer heat transfer over the maryland. Hey let me tell the jackass something that the guardian. Thanks for ruining the kids College years you fucking idiot. Do you think he's going to get the same opportunities at maryland that he does at georgetown that he did at georgetown. You think he's gonna be the center of attention at maryland that he did at georgetown fog. No but that's the type of bullshit that these coaches have to deal with nowadays. You have someone like a matt mclaughlin who play two years. Georgetown then went to the nba draft or sounded to test the nba. waters found. That a i forgot you know a guy who can shoot in the guy who could defend anybody at six to in place shooting guard money to go back to school and try to do some things. Well he felt. The georgetown wanted the opportunity to try to play point guard so he was going to transfer somewhere else. Two years going into junior year. She was going to be the mayor for georgetown. This guy had a chance to become big east or second team all big east. He decided because he thought that the chances of playing point guard were diminished. Because of you. In decision to bring in dylan harris he was gonna go somewhere else and play place so he transferred to texas tech and guess what he did play the same daily texas tech to the georgetown. The same damn way who didn't play that much point guard and he didn't play that much defense and he still can shoot at a Decent enough level but he went back to the Nba draft orders again. At this time we stay in coaches. Don't feel like deal with that bullshit anymore. Coaching from shefty's era don't be like dealing with their bullshit anymore and again. It's not so much the player to self worth players getting these grandiose ideas of how good they are players how great. They are as players. They get from their peers for the most part the stuff that sticks with them and turn them how great they are..

"I see that you're sitting on the bench and the you're not getting the time may have you come here. Not only would you not have to sit out a year shoot. There's a starting position where you can be average thirty five minutes and fifteen per game weightman right for you. I mean you're winning. Fantastic great north carolina's willing to do to winning kentucky's winning all. These teams are winning great fantastic. What are you contributing to the team. You're sitting over there getting seven eight minutes a game. You were a four star recruit. Man you had fifty sixty college had every school in the power. Five power six conferences. After your ass coach to be having you sit on the bench that you're better than together pointing before you. Anyway you were projected by some analysis by some recruiting a guy. That was going to be a willing player. Your dream with the plane again right around the hell. Are you going to be playing in the if you only played eight minutes a game. How the hell are you going to be playing in the nba. Where the costa understand what's going on with you. How in the world can you get yourself into the nba. As quickly as possible. If you're will be sacrificing the first two years of collegiate time at that school oh and by the way forgot to tell you you know that the five star recruits that's only a class Below you you know. They're going after him right run. You know that you're being recruited over again right so there's no guarantee that if you stick it out for that one year and you come back for your sophomore year. No guarantee that you're going to have your medicine creased or have your role increased or head your opportunity increase. Guess what that school recruiting five-star right. Now who's gonna come in and take your place and take your minutes and take your opportunity so come on managed to come to our school man. We need to come and do this that. And the other. That's what these coaches have to deal with every single flip and dale edano. Who's justice gullible at the kids at the student athletes to believe stuff. It's it's the guardians. Let's the adults who they feel. Have the best interest for their child before their youngster or for the person that they're assigned to the child that they're assigned to the teenager that they're assigned to the minor that there assigned to shit. I'm sorry yeah. I'm a little biased. About this but the but the mentor or the person who was in charge for cutest who played two years at georgetown who was getting everything he wanted and term the paint touches in terms of opportunities and term. The minutes played in terms of being coached by one of the greatest big men who ever played in his generation. A guy who spent eighteen years in the nba than fifteen years in the system. One of the best big men along with david robinson akeem allies wanted such jordan. Patrick ewing took shooter's wa guy who was ranked as a three and a half four star recruit ranked in the ninety s out of flint hill was still raw still learning. The game of basketball had no instincts toward the game of basketball leg injury. He said on the bench every six points freshman year but then he got into soft boyer average. Almost thirteen point seven. He was a paint. Touch ewing wrote him hard. You wrote him very hard. But i tell you one thing despite all limitations despite all the things that he couldn't do doing put him in the best position to do what he could do to accentuate his strength of being a basketball player and he was going to be. The cornerstone was going to be the foundation him and dante harris for georgetown moving forward but his pimp but his guardian..

Patrick ewing eighteen years david robinson dale edano eight minutes thirty five minutes two years fifteen years dante harris ninety s first two years One four star one five star fifteen per game six conferences Touch ewing one year three and a half

"Who tried to Dictate where a player could and could not play. Who left the program. Now it's the wild wild west and when you think about that and when you see where it's going on coaches jesse along with guidelines roy williams who just recently retired another the others of these old school other generation hall of fame. Great coaches who built their programs to being national powers bestowed on relationships based on years of growth not only at basketball players players but also as men guides who were stay in college for four three at the very least two years. The dilemma of one in done. That would really never that big of a deal. You see these coaches nowadays. Like roy williams and mike shefty at the age that they're going in right now the age that they are but they all right now. They're not interested in some of the nonsense. That's going on in college basketball college football. I guess in some states and some institutions and some regions and some universities some other parts of the country. We're talking about the Baseball team we're talking about these softball team. We're talking about the lacrosse team. We're talking about the wrestling team. Whatever squad athletic at the college at the most popular these coaches man. Not only do they have to go ahead and worry about bringing the nextwave a player from high school who can continue the tradition of excellence for the program but then as soon as they begin on campus as soon as they get on campus after years and years of going ahead and trying to recruit these guys. Sometimes it's early as eighth grade dallas to get themselves live on campus. You have to re- recruit them to make sure that they're happy. The make sure that their content the made sure that they understand their role. The makes sure why the role that being put in. It's going to be advantageous for them. A by they're not forgetting about them why they're not taking their eye off. What your needs are as basketball as soon as that happens. So these coaches not only do they have to again. Continue to bring recruits. They also have to recruit recruit the cruiser that we recruited. And also you have to fend off other schools. Who are coming to say. Hey you know what that five star recruit. That's going to north carolina right now who we thought was the one and done. But he's only getting fifteen minutes a game because oops he was not projected or he's not turning out the way that they thought he would only came into college after high school career. We can go ahead and we can start getting into his ear. We can go ahead and we can call a high school coach. We can go ahead and call some of our contacts. We can go ahead and see what we can do. We can go ahead and try to get one of his players that he played with on the aau team or summer. You team or played in high school the rivals in his high school district. That we can go ahead. Give him a call. These kids are all on facebook. These kids are all on social media so we can kind of get them to say. Hey you know what man..

Man go back old school way that i used to do it. back when i started doing radio broadcasting that type of thing and just give you my thoughts and opinions about what's happening in the world of sports not what the indebtedness that i do with my normal podcasting but give you my thoughts and feelings about things because there's some stuff where the expiration date won't last until next week so all of that stockman so it's not gonna be any type of format is now going to have any type of direction. I'm gonna be bouncing all over the place not going to be talking about the nfl. Some other topics i to talk about. I'm going to save not talking about my georgetown. He's been such a staple of the sport that he's in and kinda step back and take a broader. Take a deeper look into the decision that he made. It's like okay. "Taxes. What Disney income right here at one hundred percent? It doesn't raise taxes on anybody but billionaires and billionaires can afford it and I don't call them the milk lines that's worked under traits knocked hanged opinion. That's no. She said she said Nope. nope Josh Billionaires Josh Billionaires as you did you see her getting a little bit louder louder. NOPE NOPE NOPE JAZ billionaires through reporters but nope nope Liz said. It's just billionaires stub asking me but there's also a nine trillion dollar payroll tax on employers in her plan that would hit hit employees as their employers lowered their wages to make up for higher cost in so that also is a hit to the middle class it also includes raising capital gains taxes on the one percent or the one percent is not billionaires like. That's something that Socialists. Throw around to make you think of just like the Howard show of the world the Bill Gates's of the world. That's not the one percent is according to the IRS. In two thousand seventeen the top one percent included everyone who had an income of above about five hundred and fifteen thousand dollars a year. So we're not even talking millionaires. We're not even really talking close to millionaires. We're talking about has millionaires. So that include Senator Warren and Bernie Sanders by the way in actually probably all the Democratic candidates probably would guess all the Democratic candidates make a least along with their spouses but maybe individually to they make make probably about a half million dollars a year not from being congressperson or not from being an elected official but just in general the different things that they do many of them are actually millionaires like like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. But you know they say it's not millionaires that are the problem. They used to say that until Bernie Sanders became a millionaire. No it's just it's billionaires. That are the problem. I'm not the person who has nine hundred ninety nine million dollars not that person but the person who has just a little bit more than that a billion dollars that's the evil person that's that's the threshold of Evil that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warranty that you have to cross before we're just going to completely take all of your wealth away not the humble lowly millionaires ears like Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren. No they're one of us. They're just working people. There's you know blue collar Americans from the heartland. The bipartisan committee for responsible. Federal Budget says that warrants planets mathematically impossible the Wall Street Journal is challenging her her calculations by Dennis challenging her insisting here playing in higher taxes for the middle class. He and other candidates like Buddha judge. Don't support Medicare for all the support healthcare for all which means if you have private insurance that you like you get to keep your private insurance that you like. But if you want Medicare medicare you have the option until you have a public option. That of course is paid for by taxpayers. It's not the conservative live off of the conservative plan by the way. But it's better in a lot of ways in Medicare for all they rightly say. Hey we're not GONNA kick millions of Americans kint off their private insurance that they like but Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders because the our socialist and they want complete control. They want to make sure that you don't get the healthcare recovery that you want. They want to make sure that everyone has the same mediocre care and that health is rationed. But you know why was with Warren. Is doing this blatantly lying. She knows she can get away with it. She can get away with it. Yes they're going to be some journalist. Who Call her out? Like I've said the New York Times also has a but for the most part the media is going to have her back. They're going to pick up her slack. They're going to spend most of their time attacking trump it because they believe it is their moral duty. Most of the media believes it is their moral duty. Eighty to defeat trump in twenty to twenty. They don't want to weaken it Democratic Front runner by claiming that she's lying so they're not going to do it for the greater good for the end in 'cause that's something that we are going to see incessantly throughout the next election cycle covering up to see from the left exaggerating or fabricating dirt on the right in an effort to Defeat trump and they will justify their liner their manipulation by saying that the call is of defeating trump is more important than being honest or fear. That's truly how they will morally justified in their mind. Democrats are also still trying to impeach Donald trump because despite having no solid reason to do so that is just where we are of course they would rather run against someone like Mike Pence or running gets not Donald Trump in twenty twenty they run against Donald Trump because even though they don't understand it they realized that he has an appeal and that a lot of Americans like him and I think they also realize they don't have any good candidates running. They don't have any good candidates running at all all their polls showing the Democrat Democratic voters wished that they had another option but they just don't people literally go crazy for or in their hatred treat of Donald Trump last week at a world series game. You probably sell this. President trump was booed at the national stadium. Most terrible I would never do that. I did not like AAC Barack Obama. I don't like policy-wise I don't I don't like Brcko. I don't agree with him on a line with him on anything. I think that we are far worse off as a country after Barack Gabow presidency than we were before and yet and yet if he stood up at you know some sporting event that I was I would not do him. I mean that's is just tacky but this is what happens when the media characterises Donald Trump as some evil wicked white nationalist Nazi Eh. People think okay. Well it's justifiable to boo a Nazi. So they don't feel badly about it they don't feel like it's a form of disrespect but it's not true and look I. Obviously you know. President trump is a perfect. And I understand why the left wing support him. He doesn't stand for any of the things that you stand for like disagree with him as passionately as you want to. I don't like the Guy I just think we're in as a sad place when something like a world series game. There's other more American baseball. We can't even just pay respect to the president. The United States. Just don't say anything but everyone booing him. I mean it's just it's too much The nationals came to the end by the way. I think that I would say that if people were doing that. President Obama I truly would I truly would the nationals game or the nationals came to the White House after they won the world series series a catcher by the name of courage Zouqi stood at the podium. He donned his Maga- hat in trump. It was. I don't know how this except for it was. It was just cute trouble so excited excited to see him do this. He obviously didn't expected trump hugged him. Here's a video of that drummer. Couple words.

"Come Out in support for him post on instagram. Liam about him. He had all the funds in the world in support of him in his campaign and yet and yet he could. Not I pull it off. He did not succeed. I should've known as other people did that because of that because of his campaign that he if you couldn't win that election election there's no way he could carry the national election. I thought I just. I won't say I was optimistic because obviously I never wanted him to be the nominee Germany but I thought that he would do better than he did. I thought that he would have a little bit more support but he is totally and completely floundered. The only reason that Betto got close to beating Ted Cruz wasn't because he had interesting policy ideas or any kind of any kind of policy at all but it was really based on a couple of things. People's hatred of trump which by association included all things Republican and being releasable unlikable. Now like well to me but like bowl to to a lot of people appealing to the youths. Appealing to millennials. Even some maybe generation. Zia you'll remember. He had the skateboard thing he air guitar in his car are caused. He was super awesome and cool but he had no substantial realistic policy ideas which unfortunately a lot of young people they don't really care about. They just want someone that they can grab craft beer with and his lack of substantive policy ideas meant that he brought nothing interesting to the table as a presidential candidate he. He tried to be the most extreme candidate which was interesting because he pretended to be somewhat of a moderate when he was running for Senate but he decided that he was going to be the the most extreme candidate he was going to be the one to say what all the Democrats were thinking. But didn't want to articulate because they didn't want to alienate to moderate voters. That might vote for them because they don't like president trump. He said to heck with that. I'm just going to say all the extreme far leftist off the Democrats are thinking okay. That's one strategy at obviously obviously didn't work. He said things like he was going to come. Take our air fifteen. And if we didn't actually hand over our air fifteen there was going to be punishment and yet he kept on saying it was voluntary. I think that's the definition of mandatory. He had obviously no regard for the constitution. No regard specifically for the Second Amendment. He also said that he was going to his administration would punish churches. That didn't condone celebrate the LGBT agenda by taking their tax exempt status away. So so like I said his strategy of being the one to actually express outright the left's far left radical extremist views didn't really really worked out he also had an ego he said in the beginning I guess everyone who's running for president has somewhat of an ego but he really did and it was unfounded to. It's one thing to think highly of yourself if maybe you've accomplished a lot. But he just has it not trying to be rude. I'm just speaking matter of fact. He didn't have a lot lot of accomplishments to his name and yet he was very egotistical. He said in the beginning that he was born to run for president. He reeked of the privilege that so many on on the left say hey they say that the enemy is rich white males in all of their toxic masculinity in all of their privilege while betto fit that profile really well except for the fact that he is a democrat. I mean he is from a rich family. His wife is from a rich family. He's never had to work for what he has. His Dad was a corrupt El Paso. Judge he bill like I said really had no achievements to his name and and yet when asked why despite having millions of dollars he only given minuscule amount to charity. He responded that his whole life was an act of charity that he had been in public service since two thousand five and that should just be generous enough. He has given us his time. That's very very sweet political also reports. It's one reason why his campaign failed is because the campaign was an organized owners wouldn't get calls back. Reporters weren't given the information they needed to show up up at his event. And you can just imagine beto kind of being like that being the kind of Spacey Guy That would forget about those details and just think that he is going to be able to connect with people no matter what the media dies no matter who reports a no matter who fund him. He's just going to be able to do this supernatural because he was born for this. You can kind of see thinking that and look i. I'm a hypocrite defy accused him. Or if criticized him for being unorganized. I couldn't do it but there's a reason why I'm not running for president he is. I would think that if you can't run a campaign and or at least you can't delegate responsibilities to people who can run a campaign. Well organize people and respond to phone calls. Then you're probably not cut out to be commander-in-chief that's just my guest. So he's out by that. Oh it was nice to know you. We might never hear this name again of Robert Francis or work. I think most of us would probably be okay with that. I wish I wish him the best. I don't wish any ill we'll towards him. I don't want anything bad for his life. I hope he and his family have a wonderful life. Do whatever they want to do. That's great good. Good bye thank you for your contribution. Last national polling has Biden at thirty two percent this is according to fivethirtyeight blog thirty two percent sanders at twenty twenty percent warranted twenty percent Buddha judge at seven percent Harris at five percent. You know what the funny thing is about that so we've got obviously Biden Sanders. Warren far above Buddha judge in in here is who are at number four and five and yet Buddha judge has said. He's in a recent interview that he sees this shaping up to be a two person race between him and Elizabeth Warren. Now I'm going to be perfectly honest. I can see that I could see that I could see people reassessing Buddha judge. I mean he's not doing that. Great among certain demographics the African American community. But I could see people saying okay Warren standards. They are a little bit too extreme stream. Joe Biden a little bit too senile. Doesn't have it together. Maybe we should look at Kamala or maybe we should look at Buda judge. We'll Kamala. LSU Is this battery of being a cop of being this hard line prosecutor in. So you've got a lot of people on the left that don't like her. Buddha has his own problems a lot of people think that he he doesn't handle the city that he is a mayor of very well that he also has this whole white privilege label that the left cares about so much that he's not inter sexual enough off even as a gay man. He's got that problem. It's got that problem too in. He is also extremely condescending towards Christians which I think just comes part and parcel with being a Democrat nowadays nowadays but anyway they all have their issues. I could see though I can see Buddhadev possibly being right like we can all laugh at that. Kamala Harris laughed at that and said you know we have a long way to go before this becomes a two person race between Warren and Buddha judge and that's right like he is arrogant and kind of silly for saying that but I could see it going going that direction. I could see people starting to like Buddha judge more than they like Harris. Who is also I guess what we would consider a second can tear candidate number five among these top five candidates but I could see I could see it going that direction but we do you have a long way to go and I find it? Continually Amazing Biden is where he is despite so many gaffes despite such a poor performance compared to the other people on the stage debates a poor performance the man cannot he can't even last the entire two minutes or thirty seconds however long they have to answer questions before he says he kind of runs his Senate dolphins as it okay. We'll never mind. I'm going to concede my time. I mean that is not going to be a good strategy if you're going against Donald trump on the debate stage so it's amazing to me that he is still so far ahead of the New York Times analyzed how trump fares against the top three candidates Biden Sanders Warren in the battleground state of Michigan Pennsylvania. Wisconsin Florida Arizona and North Carolina. Here's what the New York Times says. An article published on Monday. Despite low national approval ratings in the specter of impeachment president trump remains highly competitive in the battleground states likeliest to decide his reelection according according to a set of new surveys from the New York Times upshot and CNN college so against Biden. This poll has trump even with him and Michigan Losing Pennsylvania in Ja Losing in Wisconsin Florida in Arizona and winning North Carolina Against Bernie Sanders is split between six states. These six battleground states polls else show trump losing in Michigan Pennsylvania Wisconsin and Bernie Sanders but winning in Florida Arizona and North Carolina against warrant. This poll says that trump is winning Weiner or even in five of these states and losing in only one of these states. which is Aaron? Jona so right now. As we've said Biden is still Democrats best bet it beating trump according to the polls. The good news is for us. I believe that bite in is a weak candidate. He's just a week candidate. There's no way around that I don't I think anyone on the right or the left was biden is a strong candidate. He will be weakened debate as we've already noted he will crumble under the trolling of trump. Because he's at a point now where he just can't take the heat. He tweeted what I think he thought was like super clever and powerful. Ah So the other day. It was a marked exactly a year until the twenty twenty l.. Until Twenty Twenty Election Day and he said a year from now I will have a nickname for donald trump not the president of the United States or not president trump. And I'm like WHOA. WHOA WHOA? WHOA WHOA WHOA Joe? Save saved him fire for the debates. Buddy that's so that's a little that's a little intense so poor guy. He's really trying to play the game. He's really trying to get on trump's level I just don't think he's going to get there he doesn't have the energy he doesn't have the stamina. Trump does and trump. I trump as old. Okay I think we all know that trump biden sanders. They're all old old but trump doesn't act old he just doesn't he doesn't talk old he acts like he has all the energy in the world and I think that's appealing to a lot of people when you're talking about the guy who is going to be running the country and who's going to be commander-in-chief maybe ten twenty years ago Joe would've put up an interesting fight in. This would have been an interesting election but he does it. Have the same grit. That trump does here. Is My analysis about this in the general election. Not a single person. Not a single person on a single American will vote for Joe Biden. Yes you heard me. Not a single American will vote for Joe Biden. The people will be voting. If they do they will be voting. Against Donald Trump there will be people who vote against Donald Trump. It will not be if they cast a vote for Joe Biden it will not be for Joe Biden it will be against Donald Trump. If Biden wins the presidency will not because anyone enlighten him thought he was strong candidate or thinks that he will be a good president of the United States. Maybe like three people will actually think that the vast majority of people that vote for him will we'll vote for him because they hate Donald Trump because they think that biden will be at least a vessel for leftist policies. He will at least be. They're useful idiot. It's kind ended. How a lot of conservatives think of Donald Trump they may not like him personally they might not even agreed with him ideologically but they know that he is going to choose people in his administration that are going to carry out the values the things the policies that we like that to Joe Biden is for the last and will be if he wins the democratic establishment know in my opinion that people like Sanders? That people like Warren or too radical right now to win maybe not in ten years unfortunately but right now they're too radical to win. I think sanders has a better chance than Warren of beating Donald Trump because honestly warren has the whole Pocahontas thing. I know we think that some small thing or maybe something in the past. It's really not like every time I think about that as much as she tries to. Brush it off. It's really embarrassing. Like that's a really really really embarrassing story. And that's going to follow her. I honestly think that could be the one story that and the fact that of what we're going to talk about in a minute. Her Medicare for all plan which is just disastrous and deceptive. That would lose her the presidency. I think sanders because he's at least honest even though he's Kooky would have a better chance against against Donald Trump. But I don't think it's going to be either of them. It probably will be Joe Biden Warrant Sanders just can't right now. Appeal to most of rational America. Both of them are going to or they're planning to raise taxes on the middle classes. Both want to take away your private health insurance and forced forced you into Medicare for all which eliminates your choice. It dries down the quality of your care at a decimates hospitals..

"Hey guys welcome to relatable happy Wednesday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Is that a wonderful week so far. I am so sorry that we did not have the episode on Monday. There was we had some technical difficulties. There was a miscommunication until an episode. Didn't go out and I'm really sorry about that. A lot of you emailed me a message me and said I don't know if it's just me but your show is not coming up on my podcast APP in. No it's not just you. It was everyone so I apologize for that. I think that's the first time that's ever happened that I've just left you guys hanging and I felt really badly about that because you didn't have any warning but I didn't really have anyone either so I'm sorry. Sorry but we are back and we skipped theology Monday. Unfortunately we'll be back to that on Monday but today is Newsday and there's Awadh that's going on. There's always a lot that's going on. We're going to talk about the twenty twenty election. That of course is gearing up and has been gearing up for a while now some updates on that and then I might get into some other news if we have time yesterday. State elections happened but as I'm recording this yesterday is actually today until so. I don't know the results of the state elections so I can't talk about that but a lot. I can tell you in confidence that a lot of important things happened in a lot of important in things were decided in twitter with probably some kind of firestorm so I can say that pretty good confidence but we're going to talk about things that I actually know are happening and have happened happened with the twenty twenty elections a we are one year away one year away from the presidential election. Does that not blow your Heke. Mind wind blows. It blows my mind. I feel like the presidential election honestly. I'm not being hyperbolic. I feel like it happened last year. I feel like trump was elected president last year. I remember I remember waking. My husband woke me up at like three or something like that. I just couldn't make it through. I think a lot of ice we in WanNa believe that Hillary Clinton was going to win the presidency but we kind of just thought that she would or we had this fear. It wasn't even a guest that we thought that Hillary Clinton would win it was donald trump. Could never there's there's no way there's just no way even though I voted for trump. Obviously my husband my family. We all voted for trump. We just kind of thought it's not going to happen there too. Many people that are against him. This election has just not his campaign. It's just not a gun his way so far and and my husband woke me up at three. AM It was like trump one. And I was like no freaking way no way. Donald J trump is the president of the United States. I I could not believe it and I remember waking up the next day and thinking okay. This guy wasn't perfect. He wasn't my first choice at all in the primaries didn't didn't vote for him in the primaries but the fact that people did not vote for Hillary Clinton or at least the electoral vote didn't go to Hillary Clinton I felt like. Wow there's a lot more hope then then I thought for the country because imperfect is donald trump may be with all of his bad habits and hangups and flaws. He's not Hillary Clinton which is why I believe in large part why he won. Of course there are people those of you out there who have loved him since the very beginning left him in the primaries and that is all good family members burst. That are like that and I totally understand your affinity and your original affinity for president trump. But I think for a lot of people and this is how it was for meal though I've grown to like from more. I have grown to lake trout more over the past few years but at the time it was like okay I just. There's no way that I can vote for this pro-abortion so-called progressive or regressive candidate incorrupt candidate. Hillary couldn't there's just no way that I could do it. And president trump for the most part part has delivered on what a lot of conservatives hoped that he would his administration has fought for a lot of the things that we conservatives conservatives fight for they have on they have declared victory in the way of the pro-life movement in the way of religious liberty and the way of free speech on college campuses. All of these things that conservatives care about very much even in the way of the traditional family which of course is part of the reason why he's attacked so much by the left but it's been good. It's been good. He has accomplished a lot. Obviously the economy is going really well on employment has absolutely plummeted under his presidency. America is doing well except for the fact except for the fact that we cannot agree on the reality that we are doing well and both sides hate each other in large part because of president trump. Although as I've talked about many times president trump was the symptom of our divisiveness. Is that really started under Obama. Maybe right before Obama actually was exacerbated greatly by Obama and his identity politics that he peddled so often the victim nearer her narrative that he propagated and then was a greeter exacerbated by the election of Donald Trump. I won't even say by Donald Trump at the election of Donald Donald Trump because he is such an anti Obama in so many ways. And so we've been divided for a long time people who say that president trump is the figure of divisiveness that he is the reason for tribalism. Just weren't paying attention. Before he got elected we were far apart before we before he got elected as I always. He's talked about that steady polarization politics from pew research in October of two thousand seventeen shows that the far left moved away far left while Obama was president far more than they had over the previous twenty years. The right state about the same and that has accounted for much of the reason much much of the reasons why we just. US cannot get along. As I've said many times the disagreements that we have today between the right and the left are not more complex than they used to be necessarily they. are complex on some level. But the reason why we don't get along is it because of our complex disagreement because our disagreements are far more fundamental than they ever were. I mean we're talking talking about basic questions of what it means to be a man what it means to be a woman. Is it actually a life a human being inside the womb is America and not just the greatest country in the world which I believe it is but is it even a good country. What is morality like these are all very basic and fundamental questions at the rate in the left no longer agree on one side not all of them on but a I don't know if I can say large part but a lot of people on the laugh have built a platform of shaming in hating America in wanting to level the playing field as Obama always wanted to do hinted apology tour? You've got a lot of radicals on the left. That really think that America is a bad actor in the world. And then you've got the other aside who believes what Americans on both sides of the aisle have believed for hundreds of years that America is perfect but we are the most compassionate the most sympathetic the most welcoming country in the world and we have done more good and done more to advance the cause of liberty than any other nation in the history of the universe. So we don't don't agree on that stuff anymore. That is why we are so divided. In addition to the Greek question that we always address on this podcast as God real the majority Jordy of Republicans believed that he is. That's why they believe that. Our rights are inherent that they were down to us by creator among them being life liberty and the pursuit of happiness therefore therefore because their inherent you cannot be taken away by the government. They're not given to us by the government so they can't be taken away whereas Godless nece atheism. Agnostics Zim belonged mostly on the political left. Of course there are exceptions to that rule on the right and the Left but atheism and the disbelief in any kind of organized. Religion is much more popular on the left than it is on the right that also counts for a grave division in this country. It's it's not that we have political disagreements. Now it is cultural. It's social. It's religious it's spiritual. It is how we view the world. That is fundamentally really different. That doesn't mean that we can't get along with people on the other side doesn't mean that we are reach across the aisle we should we should especially as Christians. We should be reaching across the aisle. Will we should love our neighbor as ourselves. No matter whether they have an R. D. by their name We can't come together on some things. I'm just explaining. The blatant elite nature of where we are right now are worldviews on the right and the left are so fundamentally different. which is why it's so hard for us to have a conversation? Shen without especially someone on the left but sometimes someone on the right saying hey because you believe this certain policy. You are not only a bad person in but you don't have the right to be in public without being harassed and so we're GONNA get into all of that. That is where we are. That's the state of our politics. Our cultural landscape escape rate. Now and twenty twenty is going to be a nasty election. It's going to be a decisive in history. It's going to tell us which which direction we're going to go at least for the next four years. Are we going to go headlong into socialism under someone like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. Or even Joe Biden. Get in. Who will be a proponent for that the Democrats will make him be a proponent for that whether he ideologically is or not or? Are we going to keep going in the way of prosperity and freedom. Those are the two options hint that we have. Let me give you some just basic updates. Our work is out of the race. Trump said at his rally this week Aurora. quit like a dog. That's what he loves to say like a dog. He says everyone does something like a dog if he doesn't like them I think he said I'll Dadi the terrorist who was killed by the American American military amazingly last week couple of weeks ago trump said he died like a dog. I I love that phrase now us all the time for anything but bit or work. I quit like a dog dropped out of the race. This is not something that we necessarily saw coming. I mean they're definitely candidates still in the race who are even less likely to take the take the nomination then a workwise. He had all the enthusiasm and the world on his side when he first started this. Of course he ran Dan in the Senate race against Ted Cruz in Texas. I mean he had beyond say he had all kinds of other celebrities..
