FASA Cycle To Open on October 1st - Here's What To Do

"About a week ago through October the first the facet. Has a planned outage? This allows for the new updates to load in the system and it will open on October first. Now, the fastest cycle lasts twenty one months from October one before the school year begins and it closes on June thirtieth of that year and each year their system changes and processed guidelines that can cause issues when logging in or when processing your paperwork, and that is why I always recommend waiting about a week or two because the irs website might be experiencing some technical issues and you really want them to work it out. there is no big rush to log on October one or even. October. Second to do anything the money's not going to run out in a day or two and I want to talk about what you can do two things to really important things you can do during from now until you complete your Fassa that will help get you moving in that direction. So I know a lot of times families here that you know the money is on a first-come-first-served basis and that is true. the funds that the schools received they allocate based on you know as their students submit their applications and acceptances or made. However, they're not gonNA run out of money in a week or two. So waiting is always in your best interest because. You know in the past, there have been issues with the data retrieval toll when the federal government went to a different shorter tax form, I believe that was twenty eighteen there were issues or with the two thousand eighteen cycle. So you just want them to work those issues out and you don't WanNa be the Guinea pig you don't want them working out on you so. No rush you know maybe put on your calendar for October fifteenth or even October thirtieth but no rush. So. Here's what you can do. Instead two big things. Number One, really start to gather all your documents. So everything in place ready to go so that you're just in all the data. So one of the first things you want to do is get your F- Essay I D, and you can create that at f. s. a. ide- dot E dot go the have this link in the show notes. And both the student and the parent will need to create their own FSI ID and you keep it private because it's your electronic signature. and you will use this. Your student will use this for all of their years of school and parents. You'll use the same idea for your current student and if you have other students after this student who use that same day. Also make sure you have all social security numbers, driver's license license numbers and alien registration numbers if you're not a US citizen. Now you'll want to gather your W. Twos, federal income tax returns, any other records of income earned. And for the parents income you want to have the most tax return. So for this cycle for the twenty, twenty, one, twenty, two, you're going to have your twenty nineteen tax return. So just having on hand even though you will most likely be using the data retrieval toll there's some cases where you shouldn't use it, but if you're using it but it's still just really good to have it on hand as well as ten forty forms If. The Student Is Independent Bank statements and records of investments and just records of untaxed income, and this leads me to my second thing that you should be doing and that is no the schools you're you're planning to apply to so. Begin to think through the list of schools you're interested in attending. sure. You add colleges you're considering even if you haven't applied yet most likely students have not applied by the time you know it's still September. So most likely applications are not in. An for many students are still waiting to sit for either the sat or act. So you know that application may not be in yet. or You may not have heard back. But even if there's a slight chance that you'll be attending, that are applying to that college you one to listed on the fast form you can always remove it later if you decide not to apply. But if you wait too long if you're waiting until the this spring or later to at a school, you could miss out on financial aid. So my number two point is really to think through your list to build your college list and get those schools are on your list on your essay on the Fassa form. So that they receive your results electronically when you do submit. To help them to determine the type of a that you would receive. Okay. Now, you can list up to ten schools at a time on the form if you're applying to more than ten schools, this is what you do. So you'LL WANNA give it like a week or two be a week or you know for the school to retrieve the data and pull it off, and then what you do is go log. Back in Click on the homepage log into your F s you're facil- account and you'll be given the option to make corrections. What you'll do is just remove a few of the schools on your list and then add the additional schools hit submit and then it sends it out again to those particular schools. So again, the two things that you can do while you wait and don't rush for that October one deadline. I'm number one, gather all your documents that you're going to need all your supporting documents and number to really think through the school list because just completing it that step one but part of that completion process is knowing where's the information going and what what I don't want to Excuse me what I don't want to have happen is you know students kind of complete it and forget about it. In terms of the later lying for school maybe November or December and forget Oh, I forgot to add that school to the list. So really keep a list of the schools at you're planning to apply to and make sure that they are on the list on the fast form.

Trump says he'll use his own cash to fund his campaign if needed

"Finally, there's some talk of. A cash crunch. Now for the trump campaign incumbents generally have a financial advantage but there's reporting that that the trump campaign has raised one point one billion dollars since the beginning of twenty, eight nineteen and has spent more than eight hundred million of that already, and some questioning of why the trump campaign for example, spent money at a super ad long before average voters are tuned. In and meanwhile Jason the Biden campaign raised three, hundred, sixty, five, million dollars in August alone, which is a new one month record for fundraising like that and I. Mean obviously money is not everything trump was outspent in in two thousand sixteen but it's it's interesting to wonder whether the management of these campaigns could play play a role in the dynamic in these last few weeks to. Share and I think you know the Biden people. They have a lot of support in among wealthy people. I think Kamala Harris has been probably a good fundraiser among California's well to do, and so I think you know a lot of a lot of people have decided. that you people who run companies and so on. Have decided that you know they don't want any more of the trump show and I do think that they're going to give Biden a fundraising advantage I saw that the president is thinking about spending. Hundred million dollars of his own money by. You know I think I think that that's that that's a red flag for him. If he doesn't have enough if they don't have enough, for example, the contest in Michigan Nafta books on other states and that's also. Going back to what Kim said about the Senate not just going to hurt the president but hurt Republican chances in the Senate if the trump campaign has to pull back in be more selective about where they're spending.

Valve's response to DPC

"So I wasn't sure how to approach US exactly but this may seem a little weird. We're going to read off the entire post that vowed made. We're going to split it up so that people don't get sick on my voice, of course. It's essentially read it in your normal voice or you're going to read it in your dramatic voice because if you read it a new dramatic voice, people get sick of it after one minute I what I was not planning on doing anything in my normal voice. But now that you brought it up, it would annoy people it makes me want to do it more now but regardless how you are. Valve has responded Holy Shit in valve has finally responded. To the community regarding the season that is to come. We've kind of split up between that and the Doda TV slash streaming. News. So let let's talk about the first thing which is the DPC's. So again, it's going to be a bit of a along read. We've heard a lot of the complaints re recently about the state of the DP and we agree that there's more that we should do. We want it to use this blog to walk you through what happened before what our thoughts were and what we will do going forward. Spring Twenty twenty. Once the extent of the covid nineteen pandemic became clear. We posted our plans to delay the international started pre-booking arenas for various alternative dates and countries around the world. We then began researching how to execute the international based on how different, how the different pandemic scenarios could play with the hope that we'd be able to host it as soon as possible since the spring DPC events could no longer operate anymore we started reaching out to the organizers to see what they wanted to do going forward. Some of these organizers shared their desires to run third party events to cover the period march through the end of summer. Summer Twenty twenty twenty one split this up between you and You keep going. I'll do the summer twenty, twenty, do the rest. Sorry Twenty twenty as we approached the middle of the summer, the volatility of the pandemic had grown significantly. We became very concerned about the impact it would have on future deep-sea events and the International. The global situation meant that cross regional play would be unlikely for a period of time and we have since seen scenarios globally and other competitions where teams from certain countries had to be excluded after qualifying do abrupt travel restrictions and complications. Americans can't go anywhere syndrome unless it's Ukraine Hanley while we had that was not part of the quote just to let you guys. Inter and you're. Not The competent then I would love under sprinkle in a little couple things like that just to spice it up you know but anyway. While we had already assumed that having a cry for the events was not in the cars we wanted to at least have confidence able to bring all teams together across region competition. We felt that was a very important component of how we allocate DC points for the International. We were also unsure of when the international itself would happen and given the significant lead time needed. The increase spread and the virus made harder to model out a timeframe with confidence. The potential of the season as narrative feeling to detach from the path towards the international was negative for us doing that would also necessitate a DP point decay system, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing but having to abruptly introduced decay midseason if the landscape changes has some additional downsides. Furthermore, we had also received some feedback from a couple of or that were either worried about the quality of the broadcast being lower or reluctant to want to operate GPC events in the fall altogether while neither the Cross region competition nor the relative distance to the international or absolute requirements. We felt the DPC as both the function of the international, and also as a coherent product for fans would be better served by holding off on them for. Now given that our plan was that we'd make the upcoming months open and clear for other leagues and Events to operate. Our approach historically has been to want third party tournus be able to exist outside of the international though the degree of that has been fluid over the years demands from fans and players for more structured circuits to lead to increased. Our hope was that we could both achieve a better and more coherent relationship between DC and TI. By approaching it this way as well as still along for third party events to have an impact with the overall Anders Zolt for fans still being that, there would be entertaining content to watch. In the fall. I'll give you this parrot this last section center in the you're not paying attention or you want me to read everything still you don't want them finish talking about this one I mean, do you want to break it up that way? That's fine as well as I guess, we should read the next. Okay. Moving forward. Soon. After we announced that there were not immediately proceeding that we were not immediately proceeding with GPS planned we received a lot of negative feedback from fans. We think that a lot of the points that were raised were reasonable criticisms toward us especially because we did not communicate what our intentions were and what they could expect in the future. that it doesn't say there guys. For this upcoming competitive season, there are going to be at least four third party events and leaks in the EU CIS, three in China and a few others that are still in the preliminary planning stages and are not able to commit at this time. However, there is still going to be a lot of teams, Casas organizers and fans around the world that are not going to be meaningfully served based on the current trajectory, and that is our fault for not pushing on those and supporting them enough. With that in mind, we started reaching out to many more tournament organizers to offer help and financial support in order to be able to create increased coverage globally for the remainder of the year we expect that these eventually gradually announced over the remaining season as they as soon as they are ready to communicate to fans and teams. And other feedback we got from players as well as fans was wanting more clarity in what we were thinking where the likely dates for deep-sea and tied to resume. Our look right now is that we're anticipating the start of the in the first month or two of twenty twenty one. Our hope is that by the end by the time, the first deep-sea leak concludes travel limitations will be more predictable. Spontaneous restrictions will be less likely this allowing for majors with Cross region competition happen where also operating under the assumption that the most likely outcome is for the International to happen in Stockholm in August twenty, twenty one. while. We have other countries backups. We recognize that fans would be upset if we moved to another location if the time savings

Robinhood has lured young traders

"And selling stocks on the smartphone. App Robin Hood has become incredibly popular this year especially since the covert pandemic started and there are a few possible reasons why I of everybody's home and has lots of spare time that's got to be part of it maybe. Also, of course, you know, maybe people had a little extra money to invest because so many restaurants and shops were closed also, maybe people sense an opportunity to buy stocks cheap when the stock market collapsed in the first month of the pandemic, whatever the reason Robin Hood announced recently that the amount of money, it makes people trading on its APP doubled in the second quarter of the year two, one, hundred, eighty, million dollars. It's a lot of traits. In the hood is also become kind of famous for the clever ways that it entices people to use. It's apt to and sell stocks. So Digital Confetti or some other animation might fall across the screen when you first deposit money into the APP, we are simple. Take away from that hard to get us in here. Yeah. And Robert also offers free stocks to people who sign up for a trial run into people who convince others to sign up. James. mccomb is twenty five lives in Long Island. New York he is a big robinhood user and there are several things he likes about Robin, Hood's design and how simple and seamless it is to keep track of what's happening for any company. He is interested in it's a great APP for easy information almost like a news feed but for stocks plus the Robin Hood. Shows a ranking the most popular stocks that other robinhood traders have been buying which. You know my convince new traders to join the party James. HIMSELF INVESTED MONEY IN UBER stock partly because it was number one on Robin Hoods popularity ranking I can kind of get a little bit of a sense of confidence like okay. People believe in this company because it's literally number one on the list currently James is what is known as a retail trader, which is basically anyone who buys and sells stocks for their own personal account not a professional investor who manages other people's money. In this year, it is retail traders like James who've really thrown themselves into the stock. Market. Because the US stock market has gone up in recent months, even hitting a new record high last week a lot of these retail traders have made quite a bit of money lately but other, maybe some reasons to worry that. So many retail traders have started buying and selling stocks using APPs like Robin Hood I would say two parts worried one part. Happy. This is Colin camerer. He's a behavioral economist at Caltech and he has studied the ways that people invest in the stock market collinses. One good thing about Robin Hood is it by making it so? Easy to start buying stocks. It might get people invested in the stock market who otherwise might never have bothered at all, and this can also help people learn more about how specific companies operate into to better understand how the economy works. Especially these days the digital age when it's so easy to find useful information. You know there's a lot of stuff under the hood, the economy, and it'd be good if people knew more about that and they may learn some by just buying selling shares of a particular stock and learning about what boards of directors do. You know how companies actually operate conn said, he was only one part happy and two parts worried about Robin Hoods popularity with retail traders. So here's why he's worried if there is one conclusion that the research about financial markets keeps arriving at again and again it's the individual traders who actively try to pick specific stocks buying stocks. They think we'll go up selling the stocks I think we'll go down are very likely to underperform the overall stock market and this does not just apply to retail traders it also applies. To professional money managers over the last five years eighty, two percent of mutual funds that tried to pick stocks underperformed the overall stock market, which means that most people are just better off investing in what they call an index fund that just tracks the performance at the stock market goes up and down with it over time and Collins says, retail traders are also vulnerable to psychological by sees lead them to make bad decisions when they invest especially, if they don't understand the risks that they're taking if you're buying somebody's selling. And you have to be confident that you're buying from someone who knows less than you about the future of the. So one of the elements in in retail trading is overconfidence. Everybody thinks they're above average also confetti. And? Just. Sucks right in. plus people fall victim to what's known as the disposition effect which makes people sell stocks that have gone up a little too soon missing out on making even more money people have a tendency to sell toxin went up and we think it's because there's a special kind of. Realization utility from actually locking gain and clicking and like seeing in your bank account. From your portfolio numbers on the screen into your bank account or something like would. So people so winners too soon and similarly they tend to hang onto losers typically in a kind of blind faith that it's GonNa Bounce back making these kinds of trading mistakes something that happens when people are actively and frequently buying and selling stocks, and of course, the ROBINHOOD APP is designed to get people to do just that and Robin Hood's business model actually depends on it.

"Like we said though the Real Mardi gras celebration started in earnest in Mobile Alabama. Right yes so. He named the thing. I don't know if he actually celebrated Mardi Gras but he named that little area. He named that area Ponto Mardi Gras but the so that was sixteen. Ninety nine apparently four years later Immobile before it was even a town. They celebrated their first like Mardi Gras party. Or whatever or something like that. The fort and the New Orleans was Inc founded in seventeen eighteen and they started having Mardi gras parties like shortly after that so resolved very close to the beginning of the eighteenth century everybody started having Mardi Gras and it was like directly from the French influence in the area. And if you look into the early eighteen. Hundreds like the eighteen twenties and into the eighteen thirties. This is when you start seeing a little bit more of what we're talking about as far as Carriages that are decorated People parading in masks walking on foot. Yeah well at this point or encourages. It was largely spontaneous though Church there. Just be people partying on the street wearing mass. Yeah let's talk that way. Yeah they did and then other people will walk that way too and all of a sudden you had A. That's right but the thing is these this revelry on the streets because everybody was indulging in the pointless like jolt but really really overindulge. This wasn't just your average like village party the centre everybody was getting trashed even back. Then and so people were getting in fights and people were copson horses kicking people right off of their feet. All sorts of crazy stuff was happening. It was cops New Orleans And so the the city the city leaders were like. We're not going to do this anymore. This is out of hand and an eighteen fifty seven. I believe a group of Actually from what? I saw transplants for Mobile. Who were members of a group called the Cow Bellion Durant in society. More cowbell sure they They said hey how about. This will actually organize a legit parade in. It'll be much more orderly. There won't be this chaos and they formed the mystic crew of Thomas or Komo yes so. There's a lot of cases in place of Sees Mystic K. But it doesn't look scary like we talked about right. Oh does it to you well not mystic crew but it depends on what follows mystic. 'cause it could look creepy to me okay. but crew is spelled with a k. r. e. w. e. and we should go ahead and talk a little bit about what a crew is. Yeah it's It's a group of people who get together and Technically they are like legit nonprofits and as they get larger at least via the charity organizations. They're supposed to be. Yeah and they are sort of the group of people who would get together and say this is our gang and we're going to Gang in a good way and we're GONNA make afloat and do this theme this year and then all get together and get super drunk. Probably not even I bet you there's a a non drinking crew like one gotta be there has to be at least at grew right but they They they they were anonymous originally like they were yesterday groups that were like out and proud in public but like they wore masks like their identity. Really was anonymously. You were an anonymous member of this group. Try and and Over time now people like the anonymity is not quite as important and it is to some though I think I think sometimes they take it serious new still. Yeah I mean not in like I don't know maybe you can't get kicked out it. Might it might be more of a light hearted thing but I think generally they try and still respect the the masks on approach sure. Okay all right but I mean like if you told somebody like I'm a member of the Crew of wrecks or something like that kick you out taking your mask off during the parade specifically think so. Yeah so we'll hear about it. We got that wrong. We definitely they grew from these little tiny societies into very large groups Well funded almost across the board. Yeah because they're supported by do's and they put on parades and balls masquerade balls on the night of Mardi Gras and Some of them are just really enormous. Have like big name. Celebrities like huge bands that play and yeah nominate a person to be like the leader. The King or Queen. Yeah each year. Yeah like you could. They could say Josh Clark. We want you to come down. They could and be the king of our crew this year. Right and that's how it started back in eighteen fifty seven I think is eighteen. Seventy two that. The first King of a crew is nominated right but eighteen. Fifty seven was when the mystic crew of Komo's Had what's now looked at the first As the first kind of modern Mardi Gras parade and Aside from a few years where like world wars interrupted things. They've been doing this every year since then. Yeah there's another so eighteen. Fifty seven was a big year. Eighteen seventy two. That I mentioned was another big year because that year the The traditional Mardi gras colors were added. I believe by the crew of wrecks. And there's a lot of A lot of misunderstanding supposedly so that year the crew rex named as their king or the the leader. I can't remember which one he was. The Russian Grand Duke Alexi who was from the House of Romanoff and they said well these colors came from the house of Romanov the gold the green and the purple that we also see it with with Mardi Gras. This is absolutely not true. The House of Romanov has like red yellow and blue. I believe or their colors. But that's just the legend that came about but some other stuff that year like the idea of electing a king through your Mardi Gras parade Throwing beads for the first time happen that year. Yeah the song the yeah the song what. What is it if I ever cease to You've never heard it actually so you I bet you if we played it you might recognize it. So the colors though purple stands for Justice Green for faith and gold for power supposedly. I'll just made up out of whole cloth here and the idea with the beads was supposedly originally that you would toss these two people. He thought exemplified these traits. I'm not sure how accurate that is. Either Now it is. Of course morphed into another tradition which. I don't even know if that's still going on why. Hey Mr throw me something. Throw me something Mister Mister. Throw some combination of those words. I'll show you something and you throw me something. Oh that's different so I think it went from. You look like you're involved in justice. Here's some beads to there's this traditional call. I think Mr Throw me something. Okay and then. I think it morphed into the boobs thing that you just did that literally quieter. But I don't even know you know with all the advancements we've made in the past few years if people are doing that anymore. I would like to know about that because I'm not going to go down to Mardi Gras. How come to New Orleans jazz fest? Not Mardi Gras. Yeah and I'll have a blast. Sure but I'm not going to go to this things when we were there last October. Think so yeah and there's candy in the streets in I'm like there's no way this is leftover for Mardi gras parades all the that. I was wondering yes. Do they. Just do it. All the time I mean every time I've been there have been parties. Parades just just seems like one of those towns where they're always getting down right throwing candy Should we well? I guess we should say quickly if you're before we break if you'RE GONNA go. We're not discouraging ago right But planet advance. Because it's not the kind of thing we're on a the week before you can be like. Hey Dude let's go man. I think you can go under US auspices for sure but you'll be sleeping in the van really different kind of experience hotel. You're in advance. Yeah you won't get a hotel. You won't be able to eat emeralds or anything like that. Now she planned far in advance. You could storm immortals which people who sleep in vans and talk like you just did you all right. So let's take a break and we'll talk more about Mardi gras..

"Or if you don't have one of those yet you can post onto facebook half people slide into your or your direct messages and then send them pay. He POW links in order for them to pay your feet. I want to give you permission here to not have a perfect system but to put on your thinking cap on how you can simply get a list of people who are going to take the training and a means to collect their payments. Do Not overcomplicate. This part you just need to get started. Can you can create fancy systems later. You have my full permission. Now be superintendents in week. Three I want you to be showing up on social media showing your or face and you've heard me talk about this before but showing your face in both your instagram's stories in your feet will allow people to see you get to know you not just your voice. Not just your written awards nauseous photos of flat laser. You're pretty kitchen. I won't be able to fall in love with you and trust you so show up for it now. Advertising your mini coarser training might take a bit of a shift of mindset for you. Let me explain if this is your first course and you just discovered the superpower you wanNA share teach with others it can be so easy if you like. A fraud imposters creeps in. And it'll tell you that. Hey you don't really know what you're doing you don't have value to share. That's why those steps in the first. Two weeks of this process are are so vital during feedback from loved ones and getting that reinforcement is so life giving consulting one on one with students to demonstrate that your system actually does work the Dang well is the most affirming so hold tight to those experiences and the fact that you got yourself results. I and as a huge deal in itself as you're pushing out the date for your workshop course share with authenticity that you care for your people because you know and believe this process works an can work for them if they give it a try when you believe in your offer with genuine enthusiasm it translates and other people will start to believe in it too now trust me. I know that I'm asking you to go out on a Lim especially the don't currently have a business sharing that you're teaching something and charging money for it on your personal facebook page or your instagram page. Might feel really weird but I wanNA encourage you hear if you got one person to sign up. That's proof of concept that's proof of value and if you can imagine Jin finding twenty other people or thirty other people are one hundred other people just like that one person than you are onto something. Whenever I put in a new offer? I I just wait for that first sale because the Mike if there is one person than there are more people just like them who will see that value and be willing to invest in that way and so trust me when I say yeah. I know that I'm asking you to do some really hard scary things but also you believe in how you're going to be serving the world than it would be a disservice to not get out out there and share about it one other fun fact. Is that usually the three days before your training are when most people signed up so if you share it seven days is out. You hear crickets. Don't panic and don't stop talking about it. We see the most sign ups closer to the training where people have their confirmed. Schedules know they can show up and are willing to invest. So don't stop talking about it. Don't feel like you can talk about it too much because remember if you're only sharing this on social uh-huh media only a small percentage of your followers are actually senior posts. So I want for you to dedicate this week to getting the word out. Okay right now. It is week for it is go time baby. I'd recommend presenting towards the end of the week. So you have a final few days to advertise in hiker people up plus a few more minutes to nail down your presentation so like I said the two days before trainings are when most people joints you WANNA keep talking about it keep building the hype type keeps showing up on social media in boxes like you have to have endurance. This is a marathon for a week straight and I know you got it in you. Now if you don't feel comfortable we're going live or showing yourself on video. You can easily create a sideshow. Share your lesson on audio using keynote or powerpoint like ninety nine percent of my a webinars are just my voice behind the slides and it takes the pressure off of mea having to have the perfect setup or outfitter anything trivial like that. I want to encourage you here. Because you're your masterclass retraining. It doesn't have to be perfectly designed or flawlessly executed like pretty design and execution are great and everything and can certainly be a goal for down the line but the mission here is to get your info out into the world and get people result no matter if it's messy no matter it's imperfect my best trainings ever ever included the time that my webinar kicked everyone out of it and we all had to jump back in time when Conley was crying Iran up grabbed her and nursed her while I taught why because watching someone imperfectly lead helps others see that they can get results without having to be perfect to against this humanness to the the entire thing and shows people that you're showing up authentically you like think about this. This is a four week plan. Okay so you're GonNa take your idea You'RE GONNA get on the phone and just break down that concept and figure out the steps required to reach at in result you're going to market it and then you're going to deliver it. It's actually quite simple and with this plan you can get people the same wonderful results you've experienced in less than a month from the initial conceptualization. Captial is of course idea and think about if you could get just fifty people to pay twenty dollars for the workshop or a hundred people to pay ten dollars or ten enviable to be one hundred dollars. You can make a thousand dollars no matter how you price it and slice it seriously. Just do the math. The prices definitely gonNA depend on your offer and how valuable so you believe. It is and it's totally fair to start lower and work your way up just getting people to spend even a few dollars on your training shows that there's value in what you do and reminds minds. You that you are worthy to get paid to teach what you know. I mean I would totally take a one hour course on dog training for twenty dollars if you promised. I could learn to teach my dogs to stop barking with the snap of a finger. In fact I'd probably pay one hundred dollars for that kind of magic. The less you charge you'll likely get a higher sign up list. The more it costs more intimate the group will probably be truly. Both options are totally okay. This is more of a challenge to show you that you can get people results to test the market to learn the process of how to put together a starter course so that you can build on it and the bonus you get paid to do it and each time you host it. You can refine perfect it. It doesn't need to be this huge production. You don't have to have five hundred people sign up. People actually don't care about the production value at all. They just want want to get the information quickly and be able to implement it and see results and after you do at one time the best part is that you can host it again and again and refine tweak pivot is you get better. You could eventually grow the course into a bigger one or ternate evergreen to constantly offer it to your people and to bring in passive income consistently. You'll get to collect the feedback. Help others easily and the barrier to entry is so low that there's practically no reason not to like just recording. This episode makes they want to create a Jillian many workshops so I can get my knowledge out into the world in a brand new way. I mean I guess that's kind of what this podcast is. How cool would it'd be if people pay twenty dollars to listen right so I want to know like what are you waiting for? I want for you to take action. You know something that is valuable valuable to other people and if you are just going to sit on that knowledge for the rest of your life because you're waiting for the perfect presentation the perfect perfect offer the perfect MLS DALLAS. You are going to die with knowledge inside of you. You have this blessed opportunity to impact other people and to make an income along the way and I don't want you to throw that away so if you're at for a challenge I just gave you the four steps to thirty days making your next one thousand dollars. Teaching mini course in changing the world. And I cannot wait to see you do this so have on over to instagram. Alkyl digger podcasts. And tell me what are you gonNA teach on like. If you're having trouble trouble even deciphering your superpowers or picking which topics to go with talk with people. You love asked him to speak in your areas of genius be open with your family. Members is our friends about your hope to help others and ask what they think. Is Your gift that you could best teach on when we're so close to our gifts. We often can't even realize allies or see what they are. You learn something new about yourself when your loved ones. Tell you how good you are at working through problems or hosting or whatever it might be to you. Those things are. I probably just second nature but to others it would be valuable to learn the exact things you do to be so good at them on top of digging into those things that innately come to do. You also may thinking about the things that you've researched and learned out of passion or necessity throughout your life. I can think of a million things I've had to dig into when life obstacles in front of me. There's going gluten free and learning about changes that impacted my fertility starting a podcast launching a shop advice store. Here's how I cleaned up my skin. Guaranteed sleep training a baby how to run multiple AIRBNB. It's crazy to think about how much knowledge we unwittingly accumulate in so many areas of our lives when you break it down in this way. Now when you pick your topic spend a couple of hours or an afternoon writing a detailed list of the steps you took to learn about and then implement your topic in order order to get your finished result like reverse engineer the whole thing. What did you do differently than others? How is your process more effective or efficient? How can you position as a process that others will not only want but need in order to achieve the same end result? You did now let me just say week. One is usually the one where people get stuck and never move forward but not you know you are ready for change ready to finally take action once you have your game plan about a topic to teach on the rest are to fall into place a lot easier..

Those are likely things that you know that you can share share. Those things are likely your superpowers. These are the things that you are actually an expert on because you have personal experience. Creating results with them doesn't doesn't matter if you're the only person you've created results for so far the fact that there are results even if it's just your own is proof that it can work in his worth teaching now. Let's let's chat about how you can take this superpower and break it down and package it up in one month to deliver to other people who want to know what you know. I'm going to walk you through exactly exactly what you can do. In four weeks to deliver your mini course to the hands of your audience. Let's get into it. What happens in week one? What happens is first week while I I want for you to commit to really making this happen for you? We've been talking about pinpointing your superpower and so you're going to use week wonder really nailed on the one thing from your super powerless. That you feel most inclined to teach on the trick here is looking at your list and finding the intersection where what is easiest for you to simply start on matches. What you're excited about? That's the sweet spot you don't need to make people million dollars transformed someone's body with a mini course so don't put the pressure on yourself evaluate your list. Find the lowest barrier to entry for you and something you're still excited to share with the world. What do you think your followers would get the most.

Do you think there's the possibility of a Diangelo Russel Nick Young someone recording it him freaking out. Somebody's gotTa there's no way they took a flight for you. Know I mean what citizen an hour flight from Phoenix. Shell as somebody had their phone out at some lender Tassotti F I. I don't have a funny moment. But Ben Simmons hitting that three. It's just a moment where we're cheering for a professional national basketball players making twenty nine million next season and a few years and twenty twenty three twenty four years and making nearly thirty six million. He made a basket in the world. Erupted we talked about it on Thursdays daily show in in pretty great detail. You can go listen to that but you're not wrong. I think it it is funny. But it's also weird like you're saying my favorite moment funniest moment from one month in. It's a two for one. I think James Harden hitting himself off in the face with the mall and then Josh Heart's reaction to hardened popping himself that's a two for one you got the actual funny incident incident where are just freaks out and the ball POPs in the beard and the face and then heart so great memorable look and then. He didn't Josh hard do it as well joking. Oh that's how you love to build a comedy pyramid. That's absolutely right. "Jd we drop in like a weird like Little Irish to learn the music from the gangs of New Yorkers Jeeves. The beantown boy aggregate. Okay who'd you have. We're staying in East Baby Charlotte Charlotte Hornets. Everybody thought they were going to be terrible and horrible the watch and somehow they are neither. I mean they're six and nine so the record is not great. It is nice their twenty fifth in offense and defense both not great but you want to Charlotte Hornets game and somehow they are fun to watch you go into the season thinking. Here's what they got Biz Mak. biondo Cody Zeller Marvin Williams William's maybe Marvin Williams is their best player. Nikola tomb still around somehow but they have entertaining guys now devante Graham who has been a great watch. Pj Washington seems like a really solid player. Duane Bacon. It's got real. Thick size is a sitcom. He loves this. The baking with your Brussel sprouts and you call it a night. I'm a leak. Monk is also been good guys have had moments for the Hornets. This is a team to me that come March art. We're GONNA be talking about that. They have been a pleasant surprise in November. I'M GONNA go with the Phoenix Suns for surprise because I didn't see this there seven six right now now as recording this they would be in the playoffs if they were to start today in the western conference yeah. They started very very hot. We needed to do this a week ago. But that's fine. Let's show them the love right. Look I remember in the preseason. We were saying well. What's going to be a good season for the sons? We said thirty wins with me. Incredible season. Well they're like what what nearly one third of the way. They're already only one month in their pays for that. And that would be solid of course and we also time to like what are they. What's their identity? Are they good offensive of team. Good good defensive team because they've been garbage at both ends of the floor for a couple of years. Now here's comes monty Williams and now right now there are top ten offense of teams or top twelve team. Okay that's great i. I was saying. Just pick one side of the ball to try and improve on right now. They've improved on both and like they're fun team to watch do I. This is the and I'm a huge fan so I was actually watching some of those crappy sons teams. This is the most suns basketball. I've watched in years years because there there are fun. Watch with with booker as their score and Rubio's been great that-that pairing made sense at the time. Like a little defense will be a bit of a playmaker. Sounds like some tickets better known so they've just surprised your boy beans. You can't Miss Three leads them in PIA. Yeah Yeah Kelly Oubre Juniors Fun and this is this is with the hold the Andrea interesting to where you know. He has a great first game thing. He put up like eighteen and eleven thrower blocks in that game. And then he gets dinged for the P. D.'s. And Mrs Twenty Four Games and you're like okay. Well this is going to get bad in Oregon and yeah they're falling back to Earth. We said that was gonNA happen but still they've been a huge surprise not only in the wind category but also just pure entertainment category. Like you sort of WanNa root for these guys in front front for their fans to have finally a little bit of success down there in the desert but like we've mentioned they have played one hundred percent of their games at home somehow every time you turn the center in their schedule will get road heavy at some point and that's when they'll fall off but like you're saying they are fun to watch and they try hard. Yeah and they got. They got a nice pace of play to them again in the top ten there. So they're a little love to the Phoenix Suns. Disappointment one month in WHO's been the biggest disappointment the blazes. This was a team that we thought perhaps could drop out of the playoff race right now. They are really struggling. Lillard hurt he was. He was balling early on but he looks exhausted. It looks like he's carrying that team. They can't stop anyone defensively. Their offense is okay but the real problem for the blazes blazes for me is how they get out of this. I think I don't think they're going to trade the central limit. Maybe they trade mccollum but I just feel like this. This season is very very quickly. Sort of fallen away from them. And it's going to be. They've been very good regular season team the last couple of years if they can't get going early on. I think they're in a trouble here. Ah The team that made it to the conference finals last year. They had those two playoff series against the thunder and the nuggets and Lillard. We know he's all NBA player. He's a stop but it feels like the haven't got enough help for him and yet it's looking grim right now for Portland one month in. Yeah I'm the Blazers Awhile and like you're saying grim is the word for it. They're just they look like that zero joy like no fun out there. Doc Rivers has talked about how teams eventually can go stale. And that's just what the seems like to me. It's like what is our identity. We're supposed to be good at offense. We got Hassan. whiteside out there. Who's GONNA play? He has to play for this team and when he's at his best for the three or four minutes a night they look good and it looks like they're the old blazers again but then as soon as he gets back to whiteside. Itis it infects the whole team and they're just like leave league. It's a bummer. Because the blazers have been really fun to watch mccollum. When he's hot is great to watch LILLARD? Time Must Watch TV. Anthony Simmons is a fun player to watch but yeah they have been less than some of their parts for sure. Yeah I don't think they just sit back and allow Damian Lillard twenty nine year old season to go to waste because he's been so loyal L. to them I think they they throw a hail. Mary like teams. Did this off season at stars because that's what teams are doing trading a lot for for star Dr Players and I think Portland will try and do the same unless that back injury is serious. That's the same. Yeah who knows you hope. It's just a spasm as I guess they were calling yet but that's always a scary scary injury for any NBA player for a very very very durable guy. Yeah which is crazy. Through his first seven seasons he's played three seasons where he played every stinking game and No less than seventy three. So that's that's fair. Worry but I think the guy's been loyal they're going to try. Try any in any way shape or form. They're just not gonNA let a season go to waste for a guy who's who's been good to that and the question is what do they do. And who could David can they do. They have the pieces to get a love. Do they have the pieces to get even a Golan Ari to fantasy saying so you know they need something I mean look. I don't think it's going to be mellow that's going to save the season. I mean they just got desperate and it had to with Eric. And then the really unfortunate collins injury Israel no doubt and then the chunk of time he's GonNa Miss but yeah the blazers very very very disappointing. I will say you mentioned Collins. I'm disappointed in other collins. Collins John Collins getting suspended in Atlanta because they look great to start the year. Things couldn't have started out better for the Hawks and now now it's over. Essentially it feels like because John Collins Twenty five games their lack of depth really shows now. And it's just it's too much for trio put on his shoulders shoulders. The youth is just too much to overcome on this team. So they're fine with it because they've got sixty million coming off the books this summer. They're well suited for the next few years ears but they could have been this up in charge. Like trae thought about the Bulls. This could have been the same thing happening here in Atlanta. And it's it's the peachtree jerseys are aesthetically. Nice sure as a city edition Jersey but that whole place could have been psychically rocket. It could have been fun to be. There could be fun to watch watch not so good now even though to an awesome the Easter like what two games out of the playoff race I mean so I know what you're saying you're right. They're gave us but yeah at four and ten I. It's just like there. There's no doesn't it doesn't feel like they can recover anytime soon. Right like you watch them a play. And where's IT GONNA comfy add. There's not a lot of confidence especially in the defense. They're going to pray. I would say like the trae young continues to be a show and They don't burn him out wrote over over the year asking him to do everything offensively. And then they're going to really pray that at least one of those two draft picks in the hunter or cameras I mean hopefully both but at least one of them like they hit and they look like a really really solid piece to to add to Colin's to add to her and then you then you've got something there and the draft pick coming. That'd be a good one that that's exactly right okay. So you're a little disappointed in hockey. Look you're in Atlanta. You WanNa go down there and see that barn right. See The fortress just bump Iraq and I WANNA dead instead we go down to the fortress and we watch a man drink champagne. He leaves us three minutes ago. So you got to beat the traffic stated we stay into the endless taking a dump. That's like a timeout. We do not know why I really wanted to say ought to. We stayed to the end. Yeah your quarterly. But yeah he's well crazy stuff was thinking we've got a lot of cheese. We did have a lot of cheese. Nice Cheese we got nice renovations that they put into those two hundred million dollars. Hours bathrooms are bathrooms are nice. I understand why they use them very very nice. You my disappointment for my team. The Brooklyn Nets They're six and eight so there in the playoff race in the east but they're just bad on both sides of the ball right now and that they're not they're they're not that much of a fun. Watch injuries irving has played some very entertaining games very early in the season but as of late great care slivered injured again. He's always injured Obviously no Katie. I feel like the nets so far this season. They're hanging out with the wrong crowd. They need to take off those nerdy glasses. Let their hair down you you start hanging out with the cool kids started started. Smoking Dube's out behind the bleachers. Yes Celtics and the sixers. Instead eating lunch with the magic in the Hornets they shouldn't be okay. The Celtics and the sixers are smoking cool. Okay all right so look at dodgers hanging out with the cool. Oh kids as well mark. Cuban is there we gotta get there. I see what you're saying. They're hanging out with the wrong crowd right now. They need to again like come on led to hang out with making a weird analogy here but you know what I'm talking about. They decide they shouldn't be there with those teams. In my opinion they should be a little bit closer to your to your celtics optic senior raptors and stuff like that. They're they're in the wrong spot right now and I guess maybe my hopes were a little too high for them. I'm not sure but lots lots of time to still turn it around. But yeah if it's an excuse but close losses could flip their records. Bill these out Jae crowder comes out of nowhere. It's a game winner on. What's what's the teams identity?.

"I do that the best out of anybody now. Are they really truly defending it or is it a weird thing where it's like a bit of a small sample size theater. Just teams are not knocking them down. Probably both probably both Israeli into the season but I think the way that they've integrated Jimmy Butler into that team and he has come in and not really going in there to try to say. Hey this is my team name. I'm the boss. Everyone do what I want. He's actually kind of been happy to adjust his route one hundred percent. I think it's a big part of the reason why we don't talk about them a lot. I think we'd be talking on the way more. Jimmy Butler was averaging twenty five twenty six game and you know game winners and stuff like that. But he's not doing that and you're right he's because he hasn't had to or felt comfortable with these other guys. He's being a real leader by just quietly going about doing the job and he missed the first three games of the season to the birth of his child. Maybe that was a blessing in some ways possibly. Yeah they're getting great play out of the rookie metric Kendrick Nunn drag onto the bench. He's accepted that role very well. There was talk about them. Perhaps being interested sitting trying for Chris Paul. I don't think that's something that I really want to do right now and I think they would need that. I think they're getting good player. They're the only distraction they've had as dion. Waiters is incident. Yup and he's not even really part of the he's just a contract right now. Yeah so if you said the third best defense justice winslow's barely even play. Yeah he's one of the better defenders vendors on the team. It's amazing they quietly going about their business very very well and that sort of again. What what Pat Riley and bolster life? It's like just go at their play. Hard rack up some wins and Yeah I I think the thing. He'll have a chance to get back into the team only because I think they can't trade him but if they can they'll move on from him I think pretty quickly but doesn't get getting Khris Ball. Make them a contender. Nobody wants to jump. I've been on Chris Paul. I don't think it makes them a contender. Now it makes them. I guess it makes it more difficult out in the playoffs. Yeah I mean. He certainly aren't you. Don't you WanNa to do this for Jimmy. Butler prime is probably not going to last for a I mean but if the if not sexy that the the you know. They don't need him and he said you said they're not a contender. I know yeah good point there there like there's sort of like the nets from last last year like they have like seven guys on this team averaging over ten points per game and You Know Butler is a souped up version of it would be Dangelo Russell. Last area knows your go-to guy down the stretch along is Jimmy Butler prime. I think it's this year maybe next year. He's thirty at the worry. All all thirty you grew up in the system. It's a worry that you could fall off it literally anytime. It happened with Luol. Dang it happened with Joachim Noah. Jimmy Butler maybe he got out early enough you know. He put on a ton of miles when he it was younger. But Yeah I mean surely the he has something in the works right they bring in one guy and be happy with that they have a lot of guys they can treat all right. That's a good pick that one as a surprise team. What about you guys? Give me the Boston Celtics. You're surprised yeah. I'm surprised that they've they've come out. And just forgotten about the Kyrie Irving air and feels like it's two years ago and Jason. TATUM is a player on the rise. All of a sudden again we. We're so quick to dismiss guys after having one mediocre year we did that did deal with Jaylen Brown. He's also on the rise and their the top seven right now on offense and defense. They've had an easy schedule. That's one hundred percent true. It looks like a team. That's really built for the regular season. And maybe could could get out in the postseason. Maybe they're not the elite elite in the Eastern Conference because they don't have goto guys necessarily but shake shake it all down. They have a really good player. So it's more of a sum of their parts kind of team rather than. Hey we got the best players but why is it working so well. Maybe it's a Brad Stevens Stevens thing that he doesn't he doesn't do superstars all that. Well or maybe maybe You know sexy or maybe just with Brad Stevens. I know the way that the season ended last year. Some Celtics fans were starting a little bit of a turn on him right because they won that game gets Milwaukee than than had the douchebag sweet but clearly coming into this season he seems to have that locker room back in his gone. Yeah and all the guys feel like they're part of the team again and Jaylen Brown. There's a good article about the athletic. I we talked voting society. And how didn't feel right last year. Now he's back. He's back baby and Gordon Hayward he's back baby that's probably due to injury but everybody thirty is buying in and they're going to be looking to make a deal for a center and then and now they're trying to be the Detroit Pistons where Yeah. Maybe we have you know. Good good good to great players. But we don't have superstars and I mean Detroit business from the two thousand and four series season when they want it but maybe they can win it. I was just GonNa ask you do you. Are they closer in your mind to the heat heat or let's say to the box in terms of being an actual championship contender at least Co Eastern conference finalist. Because they've been there I would say closer to the top. Okay Yeah I think I would have the celtics over the heat. I don't know I mean I think that Butler is probably the best player between those two teams between the heat and the Celtics the team the team aspect no doubt what. The Celtics has an impressive Each other summer going summer would have been nice to let's see this camaraderie and team USA but nonetheless. It's working out for Boston. Oh I love that. He's the one guy who's like left in America. That won't forget how bad add devious. Thanks for letting US Down Town Boston. Celtics I'm sure you guys will choke it away when it comes down to the playoffs in the future just like you did for your country. Who did you hear that some feet pattering might be the Utah Greenhalgh worrier?.

Jimmy Butler celtics Chris Paul Boston Celtics Jaylen Brown Detroit Boston Brad Stevens Brad Stevens Stevens Pat Riley Kendrick Nunn US Khris Ball dion winslow Joachim Noah Utah America Gordon Hayward Kyrie Irving

"What's going on but a lot of APPs come in four packs kind of so then you're like should we cut these? What do you want an extra one or two now? We've got an extra two. She does peppers. Could always add another one if you want. You can add that you're hungry okay okay. We'll even that we'll leave it at that all right next one here. I don't care who gets a started one month in who is most improved player. We've got Yak Pascal. Aw Yes everybody. Everybody agree back-to-back. It's fine. It's harder to do what he's doing now than what he did last Mr he went from an an NBA player question. Mark two years ago. Two very good now. He's gone from very good to great. Yep It's ridiculous where he's at right now what he put together in the off season and the the the confidence level that has grown from that is I just. I didn't see it coming absolutely didn't see a common. It's on the secret menu on this at this restaurant My God the chef cooked up. Something amazing where where where he can. Just pull up and shoot from the three point line. He's he's gotTa pull up game. He's got a spin game to the rim he's got he's got an in-between game he's got. Yeah Post Game. He's got all these great defensive player who did see you know who go on September. Yeah I'M GONNA take my quick victory Israel with this one. This is all I'm going to save. I'm with you. I think it is right now just one month. Because I tweeted in mid September if the takes his game to another level C. averages twenty three free plus points per game I said twenty three. He's averaging twenty five makes the all star game that's very likely happening maybe all NBA honors. I think that's very much in play. Klay now still going to be tough at the vision. I get it but I you know and the most important part I said when tweeted keeps the raptors in the hunt and what I meant by that was like at at the top of the east as one of the better team still in the league. You could see the case for Siachen winning back-to-back most improved and he's like check check check. Check all those you know. And obviously we haven't got to the All Star game and all but like to take the usage percentage from what it was at twenty one percent to thirty percent and then still stay dominant it and be the best guy on what appears to be one is still the best teams in the league with a bit of a chip on their shoulder at the ten and four now as recording. This I'm going back. It's it's a great pick. I just wonder if let's say this continue throughout the season do people say no. He won't last year so that they just one vote for him or do they say bouquets. What happened last year? He improved again so significantly. That we're gonNA vote for him. I I sort of think is going to be more more. The former where people like. Well he wanted that last year. Someone else's going that's that is definitely the number number one. That people are throwing back at this crazy idea that he would win back to back now. There's a reason it hasn't happened. Yeah but then again. No one's really done this that leap from last year that that he did and then two of this leap. It's pretty damn rare to do that. And I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago where he was only taking less than a third of his three point attempts from above the break he was shooting a majority of the quarter. Guys would set him up but now he's taking three quarters of a shots from above the break and that just makes your offense so good and he's hitting them at ridiculous rate of forty two percent. That's what makes them really really tough. He has he's just he's an all star. Yeah he's an absolute law so surprise to Raptors fancier Pascal Siaka. Who Do you go with for? Give me a six inch steak and cheese. Because it's Andrew Wiggins is the most improved player of the season. Michael Barr this coming. Honest career highs in points rebounds and assists coming into this year. The talk was the wolves. GotTa get Karl. Anthony towns some help. Everybody thought they knew it. Andrew Wiggins was was maybe he can score eighteen to twenty points a game. And that's it. That's all you would expect from him. He had been written off as an impact player as a number one draft pick. But as we're seeing he's still only six seasons in his career. He has handled this better. He passes the ball better. He's got a better floater. He looks like he has improved rather than just getting more of an opportunity. The offense he's playing in is making sense. So for me. It's gotTa be Wiggins Gimme that southwest AAA sauce. This is the story that said I just keep thinking. He's he's going to fall off soon. It's just GONNA stop and go back to shooting those awful long range two pointers and not doing anything else. But he's been able to maintain a consistent level so far. Yeah and that's a question. He's MIS last couple of games. He had some issues as family health. But the wolves need him back badly. Yeah we got him back last night. It's haircut looking good and I wanted to give it to him too because I don't think we're going to have the opportunity to give it to him later in the year ear when he falls back to Earth a little bit. You know it's it would just it would just be fun to give him an award. But I'm not buying not buying quite yet. Oh we're actually sending out these awards it's are we putting these up and send them a little certificate so you have to get all of them wants to join it together. Power Arrangers Voltron. SORTA thing like the puzzle. Hilario brive puzzle pieces donkeys donkey awards. Yeah LE- I'm gone on with the guy who has clearly improved. Not only statistically but the eye test as well has not filed this man at all at Brandon Ingram in New Orleans. He has been brilliant. He's averaging twenty five. He's also missed the game to eat through injury honestly eighty percent of elite averaging twenty as it is true. It's almost like you look at contracting tracking man that Guy's on a twenty million dollar contract that seemed like a lot when we were growing up watching the NBA. Now it's nothing twenty points per game is almost nothing in the NBA guys averaging thirty easily. Ingram those taking the most shots he's ever taken eighteen game shooting over fifty percent from the field and he's he's like a Demar Derozan in those sort of early developmental years where he's getting his spots to to excuse me knock Dan shots he's hitting forty four percent from three on five game and he's shooting the best from the free throw line. I also getting seven rebounds and assists. He's he's doing it all out there and you'll lanes they. Obviously this season got off to a slow start. Excuse me when when Zoya Card opening after the Pelicans season just got set back win wins. I and went down but but Brandon Ingram to me is really thriving in this role where he's away from the spotlight of Los Angeles and he's the focal point of a team but he's also showing that he's actually Increased his range. He's able to really stretch the floor so I love what blessing from him so far and I think you know again. He's up to twenty five. A game from eighteen. Last season in Los Angeles. Sounds like you need ginger. Shot Twenty three you guys averaging twenty or more rain wow a decade ago. It was sixteen. Okay Okay I can go let me let me let me let me go to ooh percent up this website judge Schuman I can just click and use the NBA dot com slash. Yeah yeah actually. Twenty years ago there was twenty. Okay Okay Eddie. Jones was number twenty. Oh okay this is a good category for. Hey what about this guy because a couple more guys throw out there Malcolm Brogden Obviously being asked to be the man Indiana he's done a damn good job he's he's averaged twenty five and eight and that's a guy that went from making like a million and a half to being a twenty million dollar per year guy getting the deal there to be with the Pacers Susan with Nola Depot and Turner. Not even there and and stuff like that. He's had he's been asked to lead the team and he has. He's been pretty solid they they beat the crappy teams and they can't win against the teams right now but still solid start so brogden Jonathan Isaac. The numbers are are not high enough for me because he was one of my picks for MVP but he's averaging twelve and seven but the defense is elite already with this kid and averaging nearly three blocks per game one game he was steal away from the five by five. I think he's GonNa do it at some point. I make sense. Iraq's up the defensive numbers but just like that twelve like he's gotten better he's definitely better but I don't think it's enough of like Siaka last last year the year before. He hasn't made that jump enough yet but obviously lots of lots of time left. What about him? I hate it the second year guy have the jump. But Luca Danni ostrich the dunk the dunk and maybe like devante Graham A lot of people throw it does but I say goes Alexander in that category right. I'm just not a big fan that rookie to the second fred badly. No what about that guys. That's why we're doing. This has been brilliant as well. I mean Siachen. Siachen has obviously been the superstar. Toronto but Fred. I mean against that game against the Lakers. Fred was instrumental steady. Freddie maybe steady Freddie's being great okay. Okay let's hear from you guys most improved that Doug Zink next one. We're GONNA get this our final award here. Who is the rookie of the year one? WHO's a rookie of the year? Front runner this should be a short one. John Moran easily. He's first in points assists and he's got the best highlights of any rookie locking in shortest conversation shortest name J. So you can even drop the A if you're just call them J.. Must Watch television two straight. He really truly truly is well. His name is actually to Mitri as Djamil. Well that makes two letters is Ah You WANNA make a case for guys. But no one's quite at his level who would you try and make a case for Barrett Barrett's main good too but third in points it can assist. He's good at defense. The best player on the next. He just doesn't have any moments like that doesn't have any cool moments yet. The only thing we've ever talked about the Knicks is. How soon are they going to fire their coach Kendrick Nunn deserves some love. One month guys averaged seventeen points per game get went undrafted right. He wasn't even drafted and had him Summer League. Maybe he's on a miniscule contract of course with Miami but what he's doing starting hitting big shots and and the heat or rolling. I know we'll probably get to them when we talk prizes and stuff like that but Kendrick done little love love Eric Pasco. Yeah I mean. The numbers are impressive massive. I guess somebody's gotTa do it on the warriors the depleted warriors The shock people. Yeah the fun. Part of John Ramsey makes other people better and and it's a unique skill for a rookie to really get others involved and make sure they're good. That doesn't all the other guys that we've listed hasn't happened with. Rg deeper quite yet. The town to do all right. Let's talk teams one month in. Who's been the biggest surprise? Were you said it there. The Miami Heat for me. They were team. They made a big splash in the summer. By signing Jimmy Butler but it was a bit of a weird move for a lot of people because we thought they weren't really a contender and and I don't put them in the class right now. But the ten to three unbeaten at home third best defense in the entire League feel like we haven't talked about much because I don't think we sort consider them to be a real even a real contender in the east or expulsion. Got Them defending the three point line. which right? Now that's what you have to defend in the NBA..

"So forty uh-huh. I regret the laundry comment earlier. How many wins though? Take for the mavs for Luke Luca to realistically win. MVP nine fifty point four nine. So I'm going with a forty nine fifty fifty plus wins from the mavs. You case is to be made in that instance official artist because you would think fifty wins would get them certainly in the top four. Yeah that's certainly in the top four in the waste anymore but but certainly hovering around that but whatever impact the Mavericks Have Luke is going to get right so averages a Westbrook won. MVP with forty seven win team now Stein on that podcast. I did point out a big part of that was the narrative of Katie leaves. The everybody thinks they're going to be garbage. And here's Westbrook just putting up historic numbers dragging them or helping helping them to a solid season forty wins. But I'm with you guys. I actually even even go a little bit higher for it to be realistic. Like I'm like fifty four fifty five win. which man is it? Is it in play with them. They've been solid. I little high fifty five but yeah fifty. I think is probably what they could. It's yeah okay okay so great race right now. We all believe in Luca right like this is yeah. He's he's not like the numbers are the numbers are absurd right when you look at them at thirty ten and a half nine averaging thirty points ten and a half rebounds and nine and a half assists and and you're looking at Lebron second year and he's twenty seven seven and seven and so adjusted for inflation. You know with the new fast game. That's that's about right it's about equal and that's that's I don't know I I you know it's it's just believe in this say I'm putting on my chips in. I think this guy is not going to fade from this. But it's no he. Is that good. You know it's weird. I almost wonder him being just twenty years old. Could it hurt him in a way to. Could you get some sort of like if you were voting right now. Because there'd be that idea of like gotta wait your turn is GonNa win like three or four. Just wait your turn. Yeah Yeah you're right. I think that's a possible and people want to vote for the new thing though. Yeah that's that's fair. Well with all of these guys you got to tweet at us at no Dunks Inc to hear who you have for the award leaders right now. One month into the season any other names. I know we're GONNA play a lot about a lot of hail this guy you said Lillard. Anthony Davis has got to be there. I guess he's top ten. I mean he's had he's had a good season but it's going to be quiet because I think again so much of the focus like when Lebron decided the sort of lock in focus. It's like look good. He's yeah that's why I mean I didn't take. I didn't think it'd be possible and maybe it won't be still Lebron to win another. MVP when he's playing with. Anthony Davis Though I got a bit I thought Anthony Davis would be the clear cut number one guy on the team and the star numbers and stuff like that and it's not really the case. It's still Lebron. He's still the man he just like eating out of when he's putting up these highlights. The crowd is going crazy. It seems like every play he makes his designed to be the number one play of the night and it usually usually as he has been incredible. Any other guys and the other guys you said you said Lillard now. I mean we don't have to make people feel good. Okay well steep sixty now. Who burst out of the box towns? He was brilliant those first week. Or so the wolves have petered out a little bit. Hey you know what we'll save. Ah We've talked about before. What's the what's the perfect table size for dinner? you go out.

"Is actually a really exciting day marks but yeah so one month and you know oh it's been an amazing month a good sweet world and welcome. Welcome to the new one month in podcasts. The show where we're going to look back and take stock of the Twenty One thousand nine hundred twenty regular season and discuss and the beat some NBA award. Front runners surprises disappointments predictions. We want back and so much more Here in Atlanta with tasks trait and Leeann joining us. Suffo- cannon making the magic happen. Jd what's up guys what's Jd guys. We're GONNA tackle this sort of recap across three. Different categories won awards two teams and three the frivolities love that serious. The frivolities usually where Super Syria on these podcasts. So it's good to hear we're going to be having some fun that's right but we're going to start with awards and we're not going to do all of them but we'll do three or four here in the first one. Let's start with the granddaddy of them all. Aw the MVP guys one month in. Who is your most valuable player? Lebron James Emmanuel driveway. I think Lebron has been the best player on the best so far into this season and his numbers of great but the Lakers winning. They've got the second best defense fence in the league. He has been the catalyst all this. Anthony Davis has been great. They've been getting great support from all the play. Everyone who has contributed in some way. But I think Lebron Iran coming into this season especially for me. The way he ended last season I was a little concerned that maybe he was. Just the age was starting to show was becoming a factor but clearly that's not the case he looks re-energize. He looks motivated and the results on the floor. Clearly reflecting when someone like Lebron leads the way everyone else follows and the Lakers win games. The only lost two games to the clippers and then a surprise loss to the raptors when when they had a big lead so I think overall Lebron has certainly reasserted himself south as the best player in the League one month and I would like to stress. This is now who were going that we think is going to win the award. Come April May and June. This is right now. This is is what leads doing. He's looking at that four and a half weeks of the regular season so far you've got the king at the top of your. I think I have Lebron third or fourth forth on my MVP. I'm joining Lee. I'm doing it. I know who it might be cute. You might think all James Harden and putting up that. Pp Gee we haven't seen since WC notes Mandela notes. Okay I understand the Harvick but Lebron and his team are not only winning. They don't only have the best record in the NBA. They're dominating more than every other team. Their point differential is ten meeting when they step to the floor on average teams by nine point eight points even including those losses. That's that's the best in the NBA. And I'm giving a lot of credit till Lebron for the intangibles the secret some call up and down the roster. The guys are playing for Lebron and I took away my vote. Vote from James Harden watching him on Wednesday night and his team not working hard for him and I think listen I want to. I really want the rockets gets to be a contender desperately but I just hate their efforts. Sometimes and I think that has to fall on the best player and the browns doing the opposite even if he isn't producing seeing as much he's leading the league in assists. Yep He's got eight rebounds a game he's He's scoring twenty five points a game. He is producing even. If the numbers aren't as sexy. The intangibles angels. They're they're wearing lingerie. They are quite sex. You're buying that was going around the last couple of days. Someone shooting being from sitting courtside at a Lakers game and Lebron had been called for whistle. That he didn't think was fair and he was like getting into the referees. Saying you've been reading Fredin play defense this year the New Year. Yeah thanks for pointing that out because they have the second best defense. And that's a that's a big part of it. Yeah he is definitely energized. Urge is right now on that especially I agree with that and all of the. He's got all his credit. Or you want to give Frank Vogel the credit or Anthony Davis credit. You know all of them collectively the defense. It's been it's a juggernaut. Surprised me I just going down the roster. Dwight Howard has fallen in line. WHO's getting the credit for that? I just I just find that. That's really really important. Yeah I think I think leading that locker room and just being focused from. Whenever it was July August they decided? Hey we're GONNA get focused. You can pick picks somebody else because someone's going to assume. What are you allow me to choose? James Harden were a month in and the guy is killing it. There have been twenty forty plus point games of the season. He's got seven of them. He's He's played fifteen games so far. He's averaging thirty eight six and seven and a half. He's ninth and assist right now but he's creating fifteen and a half potential assists. They're just not making. The guy could easily be. Averaging over ten he could be leading the League in scoring and assists and it wouldn't be a big a big reach for them not to mention coming into the season. We said that the rockets were going. It'd be thinner this year. Do they have enough depth. This is a major problem. uh-huh Gerald Green got her. They lost guy. Eric Gordon went down. They lost another guy. Dan Well House has missed time. So the rockets gets are thin to start off with. They've also been banged up and harden has been dragged him to win their one of six teams. I think were ten or more wins so I mean yeah. James Harden cares about the regular season not a lot of players do and people kind of blast James Harden because you're always falls apart in the playoffs but it's only November carrying about the regular season. Maybe it's all right. I love this. I've got Jaanus I've got. Yana says the most valuable player right now. He plays the exact same amount of minutes as he did last year and his numbers and his officiency. They're up there for the basically clear up across the board. That's averaging thirty fourteen and six with one and a half steals nearly one and a half blocks shooting nearly sixty percent from the floor the threes have been coming on as as of lately the last couple of weeks. He's actually thirty percent from deep on the season might continue to tick upwards. It's just to me it's like what has he done to take it away from him is sort of where I'm at. You guys are making cases for her and for Lebron I mean I'm sure maybe someone could. There is yellen into their into their their phone listening to this. What about Luca? Danni entre and all that but there's no reason that he's still not the MVP he's gotten better and it's similar maybe to curry back to back. MVP or wins is it fourteen fifteen and then somehow takes game the next level and the numbers go up. Even more anyone's that again happens a lot. Lebron both of his sets I would say similar things happen where he was obviously an MVP the one year and then Oh my God he got better. More efficient team continued to win a ton of games and then he would go back to back. I think it's I think it's the honest nate silver. I saw tweeted yesterday. People were sleeping on. How good the boxer? We haven't really talked about them all that much. I know they got to a bit of a sluggish start. There are eleven three so they're tied at the top of the East right now. Second best point differential in the NBA. And they've had the toughest schedule that's the other part. They've only played four games at home. Ten Games on the road and they got one out of the best records in the league. So I'm I'm sticking with you on us and then like you were talking about with heart and losing some guys embodies you know Middleton. That is an all-star guy for the bucks he's not there right now uh-huh and you're still putting up like in his sleep. The thirties and fourteen type of games is pretty impressive to me. Just another reason. He's shacked because people are not talking at all about that he's just putting up highlights Dunkin on everybody in the only thing ever here. Is Those airballs. He is dominating right now in flying under the radar while doing. That's that's why we're we're we're do you have. What do you have Luca? Dandridge I mean in your in your MVP race. Right now. One month and I probably haven't fulfilled. Yeah I mean hot and Jaanus of course round out the top three after that. Then there's been little it started off hot blazes haven't been too good and he's now a little bit engine too but yeah I think don't cheat has also just elevated his game from like. Hey this guy's good to like. Wow how good is this. We don't really Bill Simmons Mark Stein. There were talking on their pockets but Luca Luca mania the Luke Gazza as they called this Get the cream city too.

"Thirty day trial I've been using the Apple Watch series five since just after its introduction back in September I posted my initial review complete with all the little technical details about all the new stuff worked I'm Rene Ritchie and this Apple Watch series five review one month later every year I swear I'm going to buy the Aluminum Apple Watch it's sleek it's slim it does everything Apple Watch can do for a lot less money than any other apple watch finish can do it then. Apples materials team hits me was something completely new in that first year with the series zero it was stainless steel with a black diamond like carbon coating so strong that anytime I thought some other metal it was series one it was white ceramic it looks shockingly bright like the original ipod bright but felt like something from a high end watch you watch company which is athlete what apple had rapidly become year three and series three was gray ceramic I didn't like the look anywhere nearly as much as the white because it wasn't anywhere nearly as addict less like stormtrooper more like storm clouds but it was new and such a sucker for New Year four and series four was gold steel I wasn't with series five I was serious aluminum sticking with aluminum even though apple brought back the white ceramic and it looked every bit as imperial as ever they also went and added something new again titanium both brushed and DLC block and like I said I am such a sucker for new I had the space black it first but ended up exchanging it for the brushed metal because I decided I wanted titanium to look like titanium like metal like eight hundred endo skeleton they're both distinctive though and neither really resembles their stainless steel counterparts it's way lower key than the Polish stainless steel almost closer to the silver aluminum so certainly not for their showy offy more for the confident chill same with the space black it's not the same batmobile black stainless steel closer to the Space Grey Aluminum Dan.
