Kash Patel Discusses the China-Linked Payments to the Biden Family

"About the latest revelations on Monday and Tuesday from chairman coma, the investigations of corruption in the Biden family. We have this latest bombshell that in any other normal nation would literally bring down a government within 24 hours. That $3 million was sent from communist China to the Biden family partner who then divvied up the 3 million amongst Biden family members right after Biden had left The White House, and one of those family members is somebody who hasn't been discussed yet. The intimation is that it's the First Lady, I got to ask you, you're a realist. You're a fighter. You've been in the swamp fighting the deep state. This is incredible news, will there be any consequences? Not from the DoJ because they're controlled by Merrick Garland's FBI FBI Chris wray and Merrick Garland. So that's not happening. But what comer can do and what I think he's setting up to do is what we did in Russia gate is issue subpoenas for the documentation. They got the suspicious activity reports. Now they need to put those out unredacted for the American people to see in their entirety. That's neat. Let's get a little bit wonky, but most people don't know what is sorry. So explain the suspicious activity report. Why it exists how it functions and why the fact that Hunter Biden has literally hundreds of SARS connected to his bank account, why that's a big deal. Will you break that down as a form of terrorist prosecutor? Yeah. As a former prosecutor, look, fraud in the banking industry is really hard to detect. And the banks by law are mandated to flag any suspicious activity that crosses through their financial institutions. They are mandated to report that to the government. Now,

Wait, What? The White House Gives Women's Awards to a Man

"Whatever you want to do. But I do not understand why The White House Jill Biden, the First Lady on international women's day this week, gave an award to a man. I mean, at what point does this degenerate from women? The international, first of all, was it given out yesterday or Wednesday? And it's like for international women. And who is it? I really, I haven't read on this at all. Who is it given to? Do you know? No, I can't remember who it was, but it was something I didn't recognize. I mean, it was not like a song. It's a woman of the year. Is that what it is? Was I a woman award? Okay. Joe Biden gives biological male women who may a woman of women of courage award up your games ladies. Let's say Joe Biden gay and Secretary of State blinken were presenting a biological male from Argentina. 11 extraordinary women around the world and Argentina Alba ruda if I mispronounced that I apologize. It was introduced at the ceremony as a transgender woman who kicked out a class on his bar from sitting for exams for all this stuff that they faced these challenges for and was given a idea that this was international women's day. Even Sarah Huckabee Sanders, I was actually out in Arkansas this week and Sarah just had an amazing education bill out there. But, you know, he tweeted out, it's an international women's day. A good time to remember that Democrats can't even tell you what a woman is.

Williamson becomes Democratic primary's 1st Biden challenger

"The 2024 presidential race now has its first Democrat. Man, it's not President Biden. Self help author Marianne Williamson says she's running again and repeating the message she ran on four years ago, repairing America's trauma. There are a lot more people in this country who love than who hate, but those who hate, it was seriousness, and they are politicized. Williamson's the first major Democrat to challenge the president, who has not yet formally announced a reelection bid, but has long said he intends to run again. I mean, how many times does he have to say until you believe it? First Lady Jill Biden told the AP's darlene superville last week, the president's not finished yet. Is all that's left at this point is just to figure out a time and place for the announcement. Pretty much. Sagar Meghani, Washington.

Nikki Haley Announces 2024 Presidential Run in Lackluster Video

"Haley. Officially announced that she is running for president of these great United States. Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador former governor of South Carolina. Proclaiming her Indian American heritage. At least she's proclaiming it. I'm like, Kamala Harris. Nikki Haley, who wants to become the First Lady president. And here's how that big announcement went down, cut ten. The railroad tracks divided the town by race. I was the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. Not black. Not white. I was different. But my mom would always say your job is not to focus on the differences. But the similarities and my parents reminded me and my siblings every day how blessed we were to live in America. Some look at our past as evidence that America's founding principles are bad. They say the promise of freedom is just made up. Some think our ideas are not just wrong, but racist and evil. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have seen evil. In China, they commit genocide. In Iran, they murder their own people for challenging the government. And when a woman tells you about watching soldiers, throw her baby into a fire. It puts things in perspective. Even on our worst day, we are blessed to live in America. I was born and running away. Biden's State of the Union Address Sounded Like a Re-Election Campaign

"Lot to unravel. I will tell you that was not a State of the Union address. That was a reelection campaign. That's what that was last night. This is whether or not the First Lady misses doctor First Lady Joe Biden wants her husband to run again because she still wants to be the First Lady of these great United States. And word around Washington is the sign language interpreter threw in the towel about a minute into the address. They're like, I'm done here. I don't know what to do. This is it. We're done here. Lara Trump: Unfortunately, the FBI Isn't Raiding Biden's Home

"Is it that the FBI has yet to jump in there and stage a raid on President Biden's many homes? Yeah. Yeah, I don't think any of us need to hold our breath on that, by the way. You should never think that that's coming because I'm sure it is not. It was unprecedented back in August when the FBI raided the home of a former president at Mar-a-Lago and everybody remembers how shocking a thing that was and not only did they go to the area where they knew as directed my father in law had locked up these documents in question, which as you just pointed out Todd, the president of the United States has the ability to declassify and my father in law has maintained from the very beginning of any question about anything that all of these documents were declassified as when he was president before he left The White House. But that said, then they went throughout the entirety of Mar-a-Lago. Remember rifling through the closet of the former First Lady, Melania's closet, baron, it is very violating whenever you think about coming to anybody listening, consider having anyone you don't know, go into your home, go through your things, but then to know that the FBI was going through all of them. And then as you point out, Todd, very, very correctly, the double standard that exists because we haven't seen nor will we see this happen to Joe Biden and yet as you also pointed out, it is far worse what Joe Biden arguably did and what Donald Trump was ever accused of doing because again, he had the ability to declassify as president. My father in law and of course Joe Biden took these documents when he was vice president, but we should all relax because Joe Biden told us he had a locked in the garage by the Corvette. So I don't know why we're all getting so upset about it. That's for Joe Biden. He thinks we should all just come on down. And Lara,

Michelle Obama admits she couldn't stand husband Barack for 10 years

"Hey, Michelle Obama says she couldn't stand Barack for ten years. I got news for you, Michelle. I got you beat. I still can't stand them. Former First Lady Michelle Obama said, quote, she couldn't stand her husband, former president Barack Obama. When their children were young and she said, people think I'm being catty for saying this. It's like there were ten years where I couldn't stand my husband. This is what the former First Lady said in an interview earlier this month with revolt and guess when it happened when those kids were little. The Obama daughters malia and Sasha were ages 7 and ten when they moved into The White House. Their mother said in the interview to promote her new book that the young children pose a challenge as she and the former president advance their careers. Wow, for ten years while we were trying to build our careers and worrying about school and who's doing what and what I was like, ah, this, this isn't even, she said, and guess what? Marriage isn't 50 50 ever, ever. There are items I'm 70. He's sturdy. There are times he's 60, I'm 40, but guess what? Ten years. We've been married 30. I would take ten bad years over 30. Biden Vacations in Virgin Islands as Americans Face Problems at Home

"Joe Biden this week returns to Saint Croix, one of his and First Lady Jill Biden's beloved vacation spots. Seeking a final opportunity for rest before what is expected to be a contentious 2023 and reelection run. Hit the pause for one moment. Can you imagine CNN or any of the formerly mainstream media outlets? Talking about a Republican at any level of government in language like this. No, of course you can't. And we all know it. We all know about the hypocrisy. We all know about the double standard, but it's still bears mentioning because if we stop mentioning it, then it's sort of like we say it's okay. We acquiesce. And I certainly do not. I continue. As Biden unwinds in a familiar spot, the first couple have visited the U.S. Virgin Islands for more than a dozen years. Vacationing their approximately ten times since the mid 2000s, the work on his path forward intensifies back in a frigid Washington D.C.. Is this the west wing script that I'm reading or is this CNN? Well, I think it's CNN. The first couple arrived in Saint Croix on Tuesday, along with family members. A gathering of the tight knit clan, who, according to several people with knowledge of recent conversations who have spoken to CNN, have now pledged support for another White House run by Biden. Isn't this great? Isn't this wonderful? The bidens, you know, deserve this. Worked pretty hard, and they had to skip this tradition the last two years.

Christmas ornament honors gingerbread White House tradition

"As White House holiday celebrations ramp up, this year's Christmas ornament honors an executive mansion tradition. The White House historical association's annual ornament is a nod to the Nixon administration, specifically First Lady Pat Nixon, who first introduced gingerbread into the annual White House decorations and association president Stuart mclaurin says it's become a cornerstone. Misses Nixon and The White House's German pastry chef first put a gingerbread house on display in 1969. Initially, these were a framed houses per German tradition. But now they are actual white houses. The ornament shows one and comes with a gingerbread scented booklet, the real gingerbread house is on display in the state dining room for the thousands and tending holiday receptions here. "Ready? The word is spruck car. It means outstanding women. And what I love about it is that if you can think in English of all of the words we have to describe only women, I can't think of any that are positive. And this is a really positive word. Oh yeah, no, I didn't think about it. And now that I am thinking about it, yeah, I can't think of one. So welcome, I am providing spraker to the English language from Iceland. That's the voice of Eliza read. She's Iceland's First Lady, her husband is the president they're elected in 2016. And you could say read herself fits into the definition of sprock car. She's also a journalist and now an author, her new book is titled secrets of the sprock car, Iceland's extraordinary women and how they are changing the world. It opens with her unlikely journey that starts in Canada. You grew up on a small farm outside of audible Canada. Yeah, just outside of Ottawa, Canada, yeah. Yeah, and you go to graduate school at Oxford University in England, you hit it off with this guy who's also a foreigner older and it just so happens that he'll be the future president of Iceland. Come on. I know. It's ridiculous. And it was funny because when this first happened, I was always asked, did you ever think when you were growing up on the farm in Canada that you'd become First Lady of Iceland? And I was like, yeah, no, no, I never thought that. Right. So you write this book is a love letter to Iceland. And it's also a tribute to the women who shaped you in your adopted country. Could you talk about how you started it? Well, Iceland has topped the World Economic Forum's global gender equality index for the past 12 years. And we're a small country. We're 350,000 people, so every time we top lists or come up high, we all talk about it because we're really excited..

"And so that was the humble beginnings on May 1st, 2003, and now they're about to get into a brand new space in the tech center double what we've had before. So the growth and it is possible. But it's being able to have a really talented and dedicated staff who were so focused on doing this work and have the same passion that I have. And then in the history of the children's program and its expansion, another big milestone if you will is in 2014 with the merger of the Betty Ford center and foundation, what did that mean to the children's program that merger, Jerry? How is always one of those things, my goodness? What's going to happen with all of this? Yes. Who knows? And all I knew was I needed to continue to do this work. And I wanted to make sure that we could make this merger as seamless as possible. Now, it really helped. We had a president and CEO, Mark michig, who would come to me and say, Gerry, you know what the biggest question people are asking about the merger? Are we going to get a children's program? So I figured that we were in pretty good shape. But like anything else, you need to hustling into work hard every single day. And I need to keep that why, right in front of me in order to do that. And you have done that. We only have a couple of minutes, Jerry. I'm glad we're going to have an opportunity to do more podcasts. This is one of several that we're going to do. But let me ask you before we close. How do you, what is your legacy? What's your legacy from your perspective? I see it in a different light. I truly do. When I look back on my career, the most defining moment in William I've been blessed there's been a lot of defining moments. But the most defining moment was being chosen to come to the Betty Ford center. Now I must admit I did not completely understand the history. I had never met misses Ford. I had no sense of the love and the spirit that that plays as, and the alumni. And so I got caught up in that and really became part of that family. So the way that I see it is misses Ford blessed me the board of directors, the leadership blessed me, and handed me the keys to something that was precious to misses Ford. Real deeply embedded in her heart. And so for 23 plus years, that's what I've been working on. And we've made a lot of strides. But you know what? It's time for a change. I think for everybody, it's time to let the program grow. And so I am now handing the case. And I'm so confident and so excited in the future of this children's program is incredibly bright. And so now he'll lean and her team are going to take the keys to this precious entity and grow it and build it and have it soar to brand new heights. Well, we're certainly glad Jerry that you had those keys that you opened that door that you made the children's program what it was and what it is and set up this organization to make sure that it continues not only in your spirit, not only in misses Ford spirit, but in the spirit of those children who are still to come for the children's program at the hazel and Betty Ford foundation..

"So combining those and creating a children's program and looking for a treatment center that would just let me try this out as a grand experiment. And so wildly successful, I didn't realize then that there were some programs in other parts of the United States, including right here in Minneapolis, St. Paul, trolled in our people. All the way back in the day. And then it was writing books. And then all of a sudden, it was, hey, there's more programs out there, would you come and consult with our program? You sit in it for a couple of days. Tell us what's missing. How do we make it more child centered? How do we engage the family members? How do we make it fun, so boys and girls want to come back? How did you get to the Betty Ford center? What an incredible blessing that whole story was. I had gone to the Betty Ford center in 1997 to do what I would always do, William, sit in on a program. So sat there for the four days and no one knew who I was, which is good. I'm just a volunteer in the programs. The kids would be asking me for stuff. Hey, where's the marker? Hey, can you open this for me? So it blended in perfectly. But then writing a report. And the Betty Ford center had just received two enormous gifts. So Ronald McDonald children's charities gave the Betty Ford center a $1 million. Wow. And then Joan crock and the family matched it. And so I was thinking honestly, wrote up the report, handed it in. I couldn't take money for it. So I had them donate the money to the national association for children of addiction. And you know that organizations are swinging. We both served on that board together. And I got to admit flying back home to Tucson. I wanted GE that must be nice to have a couple of $1 million in the bank to play with. Oh boy, I do feel like monopoly money. Would we do some things with that? And then just events happen, it's amazing how God works in my life, all these years, higher power. And ended up gaining an invitation to come there and to work there. And when you got there, there was a children's program at the Betty Ford center. Many people think, including me, that one time that you were the founder of the children's program to the contrary. Yeah, well, you know, there's a lot of myths about that..

"Wow. Wow. Where is an example of an early spray? So incredible, 'cause nowadays, the Taylor Swift is just sing a song about it. You know what I mean? Like it's great to have it's good to have the ultimate revenge. These are like classics, aren't they? They're like classical tales are like beowulf or something like that. But they're stuff in there that you can read about how women felt deeply their injustices and how they used the power that they had. And what is at the beating agent heart of Iceland and its desire for gender equality. So I found them really fascinating to read. Listeners get this book, it's currently on pre order and it is called secrets of this by Eliza Reed. Let's do a fully recommend you go on holiday to Iceland and pat by this book and read underplay and Underwood. And it's published in the UK on international women's day. So hopefully people will remember the occasional that comes out of it earlier in North America. Great. You certainly, can I say yourself Eliza? Am I saying that, can you tell me teach me how to pronounce it? Yeah, the singular is spray. Okay. Yeah, but together I feel like we can say we are spreck our. Oh yeah, obviously. We have three here. Yeah. As we are. But we are very, very honored to have you here today as a spray. Somebody think you came to say that you didn't get to say Eliza. Oh gosh, I should have thought maybe about the first no, not really. It's just I'm really excited to be on this program. It's an honor for me to have been asked as well and keep doing keep up all the good work. It's great to hear everything you're doing. Thank you very much. What I should ask is, do you have an I am a feminist but? Oh yeah. I can give you two and you can choose a 21, I guess. Yeah, I've just thought of these left with my man..

"That would work more or less for. Everyone talked me about medications. It's surprising that on the one hand. There's so much pain here but you've also written that in some ways. It's the best time in history to have a headache. And when i say that. I think i'm referring to the sort of blossoming of research that that's going on and i think that started you know. Only in the last thirty to forty years with our increased understanding of these these cerebral these cranial structures. That are involved in the sequence of pain generation. So as we've come to understand that pharmacological approaches have sort of blossomed and diversified. It used to be that you know we would mostly treat it with tripton class of drugs. Those do work really well. The problem is that they are designed to attack an individual headache. They're not going to stop your headaches from coming so you can stop an individual headache but not long after often hours after you're going to get another one and those drugs can be toxic if you keep taking a lot of them and that's been true of almost every drug That's what's really exciting about the gop drugs is that the the side effect profile seems pretty good. So far it's early days but They seem to have few side effects and they do tend to work for a lot of people and there are other Non-drug treatments that are sort of being experimented with now like vegas nerve stimulators and other sorts of stimulators that you either hold in your hand and press against your biggest nerve in your neck or that you attach to your head that will send electric impulses and that some people are finding relief from and pharmaceutical companies are also all kinds of new stuff that that are sort of in clinical trial now from silla sivan which is the the key ingredient and magic mushrooms which you may know of a lot of people find relief from this and so Their studies going on at yale. Now that that are looking into the effects of ivan as a treatment for headache. Vitamin d therapies. There's all kinds of stuff sort of in the mix. And so that's what i mean when i say it's a great time to have a headache. It's miserable to have attic. But i don't think that there's been this sort of activity in the research field as it relates to headaches in a long long time if ever helped me to understand how all of us whether we are working with folks who have regular headaches with parenting them whether we are in intimate relationships of any kind. How can we be better. Supporters of those who are experiencing the agony of headaches. While we're waiting for the research to get us to a new point that is sort of the million dollar question. I think it's something. I i thank you as a headache sufferer for asking it and i think a lot of listeners have would also thank you because it's one that's not often asked and that's partly because we all have headaches right but that's not migraine and that's not cluster. And they are in many ways sort of unfortunately tied to a word headache..

"The answer to those questions. I would not advance with that. So that's what she says she doesn't know you mentioned the fbi just now. What is the fbi's role in this investigation. And maybe even more broadly the role of the us government In general going forward in haiti will the one of the things. That's really important in all of this. Is that several of the people who have been implicated and warren custody are actually united states citizens. They live in south florida. So we know that last week there was a number of search warrants that were executed on those people's we know i know that the first lady was interviewed by the fbi yourself You know they have a sort of standard providing assistance and we will neither confirm nor deny. You don't have to confirmative tonight. You turn on the local news and there they were in these people's houses so the big question here is you have these people in south florida. Who were having like committee meetings about what to do. If the government fell. What kind of interim government could be held and so. Those meetings are being characterized by the police as murder-plotting meetings. If that's the case then you have crimes that were committed in the united states. And then you're going to see the fbi's role probably increase. France's robocalls is a national and foreign correspondent for the new york. Times francis. Yeah it was <Speech_Male> more fun <Speech_Music_Male> like ours is kind of somewhere <Speech_Music_Male> in between <Speech_Music_Male> do started this just to hang <Speech_Male> mojo ask <Speech_Male> questions. I'm here to make <Speech_Male> friend. Yeah <Speech_Male> let's <Speech_Male> say you get when you get personal. <Speech_Male> Something like that <Speech_Male> hung out with him. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I got to hang out we all. <Speech_Male> I learned <Speech_Male> so much and they taught me <Speech_Male> so much when you talk about <Speech_Male> when <Speech_Male> i go with my <Speech_Male> wife and they started asking me <Speech_Male> because he can get that <Speech_Male> fun stuff <Speech_Male> right <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> but <SpeakerChange> yeah <Speech_Male> thank you so much <Speech_Male> for <Speech_Male> doing. This <Speech_Music_Male> is funding is <Speech_Male> a lot of fun. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Your event your <Speech_Male> brothers event <Speech_Male> okay. How'd you get. Actually <Speech_Male> you up and then the other one <Speech_Male> tell you what to do. That's <Speech_Male> kind of what you see. Some <Speech_Male> people get elected <Speech_Male> and it's <Speech_Male> just like that right <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> then they pretend <Speech_Male> hate and everything but <Speech_Male> with our generation man <Speech_Male> because of the divorce <Speech_Male> thing we learned to and <Speech_Male> then twenty years of war <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> with the enemy would know <Speech_Male> face <Speech_Male> and now we're all <Speech_Male> back together <Speech_Male> at it's our turn <Speech_Male> their kinda shifting. <Speech_Male> We're <Speech_Male> going into power <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> so <Speech_Male> he's going <Speech_Male> there rally. I try to <Speech_Male> make. "The fact the way i had to do it in my head and and kinda went to tell the guys took me awhile and a matter of fact i was watching another movie The pacifier within the as you know what man. If i when i got out of the teams and they transitioned me over and i was like. Oh i'm not team got anymore. I i'm going to be a husband and a filled different but then i was like wait a minute if i'm not out of the military my job my assignments to marry this hot lady kids in like raise them. That's your assignment out. Team guy that to no end wouldn't even be an issue number. That would be great. No trying to kill you you. You want to run this company. So that's a kuwaiti. Look at it. That's the only way we never get done. You're never out of the cycle so in the beginning of life. We're in the school house so that we can look out for you. Shorties man they get hurt easy. And then you keep growing into the field experiment and then your teammates i. It's bad as when you and i can work together. We we can get done but then when they throw the opposite in there because they cover down stuff. We can't see comment. I mean that we can't even begin to see when team guys take one guy from every walk of life in the united states and put him into more fraternity. That's what you got thank. Our genetics are different right and so they boil down to like what if you take all that apart. What has to happen and say hey man if you take everything away from us. We're still buddies. If we're standing there naked we we'll get it done. We'll get back on track and go. Yeah and those those those guys just you just they just show up. Yeah the show up guys just kept coming back in man and you'd that's more of a less than what what y'all go through what you've taught them going into the manuals and stuff like that you can sit there and tell them they look at you. I can see it. I still learn like that. No i feel like a lot of the successful people you hear like when they were younger they were. You know the wild wild car they were had. Add or you know. Were you know they were. The free thinker is of doing their own thing so as an adult that translates into xavier schools for data to find something special about him. Ask to be. Dave figure it out as the kids get older like. There's the kids who were good at school setting the other man. Those skews kids. That aren't good at one thing. But they're real good at something else. Shouldn't hold them back. You know what. I mean at all especially with everything that we have in this country in the ability and what we've created there should be a spot for them starts with them now. Yeah no doubt about it. I said we are. We can't imagine what they're going to be fun. Oh yeah. I've got a question so it's not often you get second chances. It seems like you had multiple right from addiction to get fired from what potentially could have been a dream job.

Anyone that i liked it sending me more. Every week i love the show does marcus. I think this was funny. Morgan is great and nobody ever responded very very very few responded but the whole point of doing this was to get attention. I post it. All the bodybuilding message boards all the fitness message boards as aaron singer. Man everybody like swell sixty nine right. I was here in sacramen-. Because i figured maybe somebody will notice this guy's got some brains. We saying something valuable. Maybe they'll like look me up and say. Hey i want this guy my show her this right article and And so through through carlin. I wrote him. I was kind of frustrated. At the time. I wrote emma about email instead of good email so it was always running positive things and he did our thing about kency eyedrops betide drops in your eyes and then all of a sudden you can. You don't need glasses anymore. And i wrote. Tim was like. That's bullshit. Fucking your shell carl. It's total bullshit. This shit doesn't work and he wrote me back came in. Here's my phone number me. Because he wanted to defend himself right. Like i'm not she'll fuck you ended up talking and matt led to me interviewing him on his show and ended up creating our own podcast called off topic radio which is surrounding the weird world bodybuilding. Like all the weird stuff the weirdest stuff that was like howard stern of bodybuilding and it was super successful and led to one thing led to another that ended up creating a career for me being the bob. Costas quote unquote of bodybuilding. Before or right around. When i met daria which was paying all the bills and i was doing something that i loved it was passionate about. It wasn't enough to provide for family. But it was something that i love doing and felt very gratified and being able to do it. You know and our and our feelings come from zero to forty no wife. No kids like we're supposed to be married that live trying figure out the man that we're not plus it's hard for them to tell. You never been married to me back in the day like if i was doing that but as soon as we got married i still pull her into that world of a lot of diana going around and stuff like that. You were cut competing with soon as y'all got married started this right. everything's shifted. Oh yeah it's been very fast. Seen as i mean basically as soon as we started data. It's been so when we got when she got pregnant with. Ashra my oldest. Who's that was kind of the impetus to go from like subsiding. Like being okay. With 'cause i was never i never felt like i wasn't okay with with making making you know money enough to pay the bills right. I always. I felt very lucky to be able to pay the bills doing something i loved. You know. I'm sure like you did right doing a job. You love and paying the bills. "These guys would come out leave that she wanted to leave so that i wasn't there couldn't see me because i'd be i'd be more intimidating or threatening right even just sitting there being quiet. They're going to like who's this guy. So she continued and made a lot of money so i had an unlimited supply cocaine and that was part of the problem. And that's why. I lost so much weight as i went from like two fifty to sixty two down to like one eighty or so on cocaine where i didn't work out. I didn't care about myself. I didn't eat drink or times for the time. And i tell about every once in a while is like When i had drank water for like seven or eight days and food for longer. I started hearing babies crying all the time. Because your body your mind starts loosening. I'm sure he has had something similar at some point right But for me it was like that was the timer. I kept hearing rousing. Okay i gotta stop. You gotta take a to go to sleep drinks mortar. Eat some food good asleep and so at that point. I wasn't bathing a mess. I was more of a mess than than than ever That was kind of like the that was towards the end of the time of doing drugs and and being like a mess right right around then you quit cold turkey. So what what happened was with jennifer and we had this friend This guy. I don't wanna say because. His parents say his name but he was a construction guy doing pretty good his life and i really liked him he would come over. He was one of her like a Direct to consumer customers right. He wasn't like a customer business. The business he doesn't like a seller of cocaine drugs he was consumer right so he he would come over her him and a few other people's lawyer that kind of comes into my story leader and a few other guys that would come that she liked and that we that i liked. That would come over to the house and buy drugs and then hang out or leave or whatever and they were not selling to other people so this guy came over and he was in construction. Really cool guy in. He was like recreational maybe more recreational lake. Not like an addict like us Like me but he was like you know he would do a bunch for you by an april or to do it for a little bit. And then he would stop for a week or two or three weeks or whatever right and then he'd do it again do it again. So whenever he come over and hang out for a little while and talk to me and so he came over hanging out and Me and her went to other room. It seemed like for a short period of time. But it's now. In retrospect it must have been longer and we came back to the room and also he meant he was how didn't wake up like hey and he smelled badly should himself oche. What the fuck.

"Weaving. I'm just curious as to what you would say because we all kind of grew up on a little bit of a while side and but look we've developed into what a short amount of time. It's it's taking in the in the big scheme of things. Oh yeah i was talking to. Someone was like donald. Do we do stretches in the military. I mean immediately got out and then grew one of my buddies. Just coffee company. I mean just now. You're looking like now. What do we do you kinda go so fast and what you're doing and back in the day when we were teenagers they send us away. What would you tell her statement. I got a daughter coming up. Now what would you say to yourself now would be beneficial to myself back. Then what would i tell my my teenage solve nothing. She wouldn't listen. She was stubborn. Serve ship yeah. I you know what. I saw a good thing. Then it was the the boarding school is a great thing. The first time. I think the people were in listening or talking to me. I was just pushed into you know therapies and things that were just terrible that now as a parent. I would not do what my parents at lake. I would take a whole different approach. As far as finding someone that they can relate to and they feel like they can figure out what what's going on what they want. What they you know. There was not a box of what you need to fit in. And i think that that was a big thing i grew up with is that there is a box and I don't believe that. I like being outside the box so i think with our kids now. I would give a lot more options. And you know flexibility and conversation and kind of opened that up and then obviously can say everything now. I don't know what what happened in a reality interview. So many people that they they have similar childhoods like all of us like you to and it's almost inevitably almost like you're you're wondering for something and then when you find it look how you turned out found each other to. That's even yeah cooler story background so similar. I just so how. I got into fitness. When i got out i had gained. I mean a ton of weight so there is the physical aspect but then also so actually in the first rehab. That i want to. I had become close with a woman who i think. She'd been a bodybuilder Or something she knew about venice and so she kind of taught me some workouts and brought and so are only time to get away was to go to the gym. Like the local y. So i would be the only girl going to work out. And while everyone else is kind of hanging out and i just loved the feeling of lifting weights and the endorphins and everything that you got from it. So when i got out i immediately went back to the and that was like my segue into my life of like this is. What does your new drug..

"Yeah you like that and can arm wrestle and then another scene is when he tells them stop frigging does in me and my dad watched that together and i remember thinking like well. That guy's awesome right. I know why like that's awesome and so I since that very moment was always thought that was cool and as when kids were getting dropped off from school own. My kids on the bus get dropped off their house. But i would get dropped off at the gym at french riviera span new orleans louisiana grew up in they would drop me off at the gym and And for me that was like that was the the spot that i would be able to figure this stuff out and get like get like arnold right and so from thirteen years old I went there until i graduated high school or before i didn't graduate. I didn't finish school. So i guess until i was seventeen. I quit high school. i would go there every day. Get dropped off at the gym when other kids are getting either playing sports or game dropped off at their house. And so you know. That was the beginning of fitness and bodybuilding for me because i was fascinated in in building that physique. You've no in the beginning. I had no idea what i was doing. And your hallel now. I'm forty one forty one so you started here before arnold did right. Yeah something like that. He was something iron. Arnold is forty years old in predator or forty one. yes. It was probably like one of the first editions. Ish you know and It has everything like that's really all you know is really there. "Jill biden visits community colleges which is a lot these days. She was received in highly choreographed. Settings by governor say were members of the public as the nation's first lady but to administrators teachers. She has dr. Jill biden college professor at salt community college in illinois. There were pink and white flowers out. Everywhere befitting her visit the even matched her white dress and pink jacket but there was also a welcome. Dr biden sign so huge that the period on the doctor was as big as her head. It felt like a subtle rebuke to that scolding. She was subjected to back in december for using the title. She has every right to indeed in all the places she goes lately. She is honored as a woman with several degrees. Who has worked really hard her whole life at the most relatable job there is. Everyone has a favorite teacher. After all on our visit to the navajo nation. In april dr biden was introduced by someone came to think of as the ruth bader ginsburg of indian country chief justice of the navajo nation. Supreme court joanne. Jane a tiny woman with hair pulled back in a tight ponytail. Winning doc martens dr biden. Millions reap inspiration from your quote. Teaching isn't just what i do. It is who i am in birmingham alabama. She was introduced by a lawyer. Liz huntley a sexual abuse survivor whose parents were drug dealers. I want to thank dr biden from the bottom of my heart for the role that she plays not just the first lady but for her heart for educating she told me she's grading papers on the plane. Y'all what who does that. They say being an educator as a calling in your life that you can't resist and she just won't let it go. December debate of titles seems awfully small in the face of all of this. Jill biden schools visiting vaccinations sites traveling to red states to sell the american rescue. Plan telling folks that help us here. The role she's fulfiling on these visits is in many ways neither first lady nor professor but a key player in her husband's administration a west wing surrogate and policy advocate and underestimated asset. As mary jordan the washington post reporter written a book about melania trump. Put it to me. It's hard to imagine. Joe doing this without her which is not to say that dr biden who is constitutionally shy doesn't take special delight in these visits she becomes looser goofy and more expansive. You generally hear her before you see her because she is often laughing. She is quite simply a joy multiplier as part of her elevator pitch for free community college part of the one point eight trillion american families plan president biden proposed to congress in april. She likes to talk about one of most dedicated students. A military interpreter from san came to america to start a new life a few semesters ago. I got a text trimmer. It was like six in the morning on my way to the hospital. Have my baby research. Paper will be laid to which. I replied excuses excuses. That gets a big laugh even from the jaded press corps. No one thought she could keep teaching. I heard that all the time during the campaign. She told me like no. You're not going to be able to teach first lady. And i said why not. You make things happen right. But as i traveled with dr biden through much of april. I saw just how much time day job took up in albuquerque new mexico the entire retinue of staff secret service and press held at our hotel until well into the afternoon. The motorcade finally hit the road for nearly three hour. Drive and a long evening events in arizona because dr be was teaching her classes resume on a trip to illinois. Her motorcade sped toward the airport as if there weren't a second waste because there wasn't jill had to teach. Meanwhile countless editorials began marking the first hundred days the biden administration many expressing surprise relief over. How much was getting done. How much legitimately helpful policy was moving through the system. How little drama health few flubs or fumbles or ugly fights. Joe biden is boring. And that's not a complaint. One day i asked dr biden about the mood of the country during the campaign. I felt so much anxiety from people. They were scared. She told me when. I travel around the country. Now feel as though people can breathe again. I think that's part of the reason. Joe was elected people wanted someone to come in. And he'll this nation not just from the pandemic which i feel. Joe did by you know getting shots and everybody's arms but also he's colmer precedent. He lowers the temperature. Part of what makes the biden's right out of the gate success. So extraordinary is that they seem to have perfectly read the room. We have been through this enormous collective trauma and here's a calm experienced empathetic president. And here's the first lady who is driven tireless effortlessly popular but also someone who reminds us of ourselves. She selling a vision for our most fundamental institutions ought to work infrastructure education public health even as she goes to extraordinary lengths to keep a real world job to stay in touch with what makes a human and what matters most now. It is may and unseasonably hot tuesday afternoon. And i'm sitting with dr biden under a white trellis in the jacqueline kennedy garden. Just outside the east wing of the white house. She is wearing a red dress and red pumps finals were last week. The semester is over few today teacher appreciation day. That happens is the first tuesday since moving into the white house that she did not have her writing class one of three. She taught this semester at northern virginia. Community college she already misses her students. Who are for whatever reason mostly men this semester. Maybe two months ago they said. Hey dr can we ask you a question. I said yeah they said when we wrote in our journals. Can we curse. They were worried if it's inappropriate because you're the first lady. I don't know what they thought. We never said the words..
