So in the military, you get to practice both sides of that all the time. You work your way up one ladder and you get to the top and then you get promoted or you change jobs or units and boom, you go back to the bottom. And so you're constantly leader follower, leader follower, all the way up, all the way up throughout your career. So you get used to playing those different roles and being in your, being in your place. And sometimes when you find, when you find yourself being, being back to being a Snuffy, somebody else is in charge. You learn how to support them and just, and go along with what the leadership's telling you to do. Cause you know, that's ultimately the best for the, for the group or the, or the unit or the mission. What Yeah. else can you tell us about Wayfinders? Like what, what are some of the things you're finding that come out of this? The benefits, like when, when people go back to running their businesses after one of your events, what's some of the feedback you get when, when they return to normalcy? "We had singles matches. We had a Boston street fight and then it all ended up with the first ladder ward, the first ladder match in Ring of Honor was that was definitely a pivotal. Let's focus in on those guys because I've worked with both of them very extensively. What was the chemistry there with the for you? Oh my goodness. We were in, I mean, you got to figure this was O 7, so we're all full of piss and vinegar, you know what I mean? Even one of us gave a shit once about nothing. We would go out there and beat the absolute crap out of each other and just have a blast doing it and then just be so excited to do it again as soon as possible. I mean, the first time that we wrestled was in Philly and it was just kind of a nobility to the mattress kind of thrown together and I think that the match went so good that that was when games supposed to be who was booking at the time. I think that match went so good in the chemistry was so right there. He said, we can run this match. All year long. Right. Pretty much all year long, and so that's what we did. We always, we always beat them beat them in every match besides for the Boston street fight, which they beat us there. And so that was how they got, okay, we just beat you all one, two, three now. We want the title match, the latter match, but yeah, that was one of the definitely one of the divining series of matches, the defining huge and those guys, we just, from the first time, the Ford was got in the ring together. It was just like, it was so natural and just so, you know, the chemistry was just so right there. And those two guys are like brothers too. They end up getting in fights with each other too. Putting together matches yet. Oh my goodness. It's great. Sammy putting together matches with him is always a pleasure too. For sure. "Okay. Well, I'm actually was doing some work for a friend up at a small town north in the 15 miles from here. And we were driving to lunch. And my buddy and my friend that were in the car were kind of looking straight ahead and I happened to glance across this Lake and I just couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was almost surreal. Dog's head is sticking out of the water and is too pause flashing around and I just immediately said stop the car just pull over. And he pulled over and looked at me like I walked off Mars and I said, just back up. So he backed up, I said right here, stop. So I just ran out at that point, went down to the Lake and kind of made a quick assessment. Did you think you were going to fall in maybe, if you tried to say that? Well, I did fall. I did fall in. I didn't have anybody initially that was able to help me. I was kind of on my own, but you know how gawker the gawker law works once one car stops. The next one is wondering why that tire stopped. The next thing you know, I think within about ten minutes, we have traffic jam on the highway. It was literally blocked there were so many cars with people that were watching this thing going on. And my buddy was able to flag a guy down with ladders. I laid the ladders out on the Lake and called, you know, to distribute my weight. Oh, okay, yeah. Yes, crawled from one ladder then pulled the other one forward, then got on that one, then pulled the other one forward. So I wasn't putting a lot of pressure at any one point on the ice. And aside from that, I had a guy that had a commercial size rope, and this thing was about an inch in diameter. I mean, you could have tied the Queen Mary up to this thing. And it was probably a hundred feet long, and I was holding on to that with a bunch of healthy guys back on shore. So if I would have gone in, I really don't think there was much risk at anybody was going under. The dog armed me. So anyway, I got the rope under the dog's front legs and start yelled back to shore. Start pulling. So the dog came right out. And I managed to get myself back without going through. So that's not happy dog, happy ending. Yeah, that is a great ending. I assume the dog, I mean, probably had or was going towards hypothermia and if you hadn't gone in there and rescued it, definitely could have lost that dog. Do you know whose dog it was? Yes, we found the owners. We want the properties up in that section are relatively large for our area. They're probably ten acres or more each property. And there was this long driveway and initially I was going up the wrong driveway and some lady yelled at me. Hey, what are you doing with my dog? What are you doing with my dog? Are you the owner? And she said, yeah, and I said, I got to talk to you. She missed all this auction if she would have been around the other side of her pole barn where she was working. She would have seen a real interesting scene developing in front of her because she could see all of it from the front, but she was around the back. Did anything happen to you? I mean, you obviously got cold if you're in that freezing. I fell to initially close for sure. I only went up to my waist and I said, well, this is enough of this to do something else. So by that time there were enough cars, like I said, that someone had actually had some ladders. So that was the end of my cold spell. But the dog was in, of course, up to its neck literally and the dog was shivering while it was out there in the water. It seemed much relieved and quite happy. It wanted to be everybody's best buddy once it got out of the water. It was flagging its tail and quite relieved. Was he crying or barking? It was interesting. He was slashing around. And then when I got out of the car and ran down to the story, he started barking like crazy. And as soon as we saw I started to pay attention to him, he shot right up, it's almost like he froze motion, no pun intended. And he just sat there and patiently waited. And then more and more people were gathering, and it was almost like a human being. I mean, he sat there, he was patient. When I was going out, I saw one guy had a pair of leather gloves, and I said, I need your gloves. So he probably thought I was worried about my little pinkies. And actually when I was worried about was his dog was a hundred pound dog and I was pretty much thinking he might bite me when I was trying to get the rope around him. So I grabbed the gloves, put the gloves on and went out there and he didn't bite anything. He was most appreciative, right from the get go. He knew. Yeah, sweet. We are with Mike bruner. He's the keyboard player from rare earth, and he just saved a dog who was fell through the ice and hey, Mike, doesn't it? You were playing. I thought that was more than coincidental. Which basically says that most people get stuck in a dependent society, a dependent system so I would like you to think about the line going to crossed you sheet of paper. That's what the education system was designed to keep you in is to shut up to do your job. Don't get into trouble and just climb the ladder and put up with whatever it is that they give you in life. We call this life of quiet desperation. And Most people realize. Yeah, I'm maybe I'm overstepping the I would say a lot of people realized. What have you realized you are living that life of quiet desperation. Lot of you realize that there's a dead end. You know, ladder you're gonna bump up against somebody else on top of you. And when that guy takes a dump, he's gonna dump on you. It's just the way it is. That's the way corporate America works. So the only way to get off of that ladder is to get off that laddering find another ladder. This ladder's latter of independent operation where you own your own business. And when you own your own business, it may not be big, right? But it is flexible time wise. It is flexible growth wise and I remember when I started my business. It only took me like 10 houses to replace. My total income of really making $3500 a month. Take home pay real estate investing when done correctly is tax free, so I only needed to make 3500 of take home pay, which was very easy to do. Once I had that, then I had the choice to be able to leave my corporate America job, which I did. And even though I had done that, I still realize that want to make more money. Just like when I was on the corporate America ladder. Now we're in Colin, number two. We're on the independent ladder. And we want to grow up that ladder. But the beauty of the latter is is that there's nobody else on the ladder. There's 100 ladders next to you of people doing the same thing. We're all trying to buy real estate, right? All these people are they're all in this land You looking to go? Hi, Mom. Taesoo. How you doing, Bob? Great. How many houses he bought this week. I bought one more. How about you have on two more? So I bought all apartments and got rid of my houses in each apartment, had a manager and that manager ran that business maintenance guys to do the maintenance work. And I hired people at my seminar business to do all of the selling all marketing all of the customer service stuff, and I just thought And that's all I did. So I cut my workload by 80 or 90%. Right now I work three hours a week. I do three radio shows a week and you listen to him to other ones Week that I do or both are repeats or what we call best ups. So I do three hours a week. That's my job down three hours week. That is called being inter dependent. To be interdependent. You have to own a business and look on the orc chart in your name is not there. So when you look on the order Charter every one of my apartment complexes. My name's not there. I don't go there. That I want apartment complexes that because I bought it is a passive. I've never been to him. Like I don't know where they're at. Nor do I care because the people are running operations are very competent, maybe more competent than I would be. And so they allow me to be Inter dependent on someone else. Now they can't control me because I'm not dependent on them. I own multiple businesses. And have multiple people running them.
