McDonald’s to Face $10B Race Discrimination Suit From Byron Allen

"It says McDonald's will face a $10 billion lawsuit against them for not advertising enough on black owned media. Now, let me just explain who this helps in who this hurts. The fact that the plaintiff are the fact that and I believe it was a black man that did the suing. The fact that we're suing people because you're not advertising junk food enough on black networks. It's asinine to me. Now the people who are making money from advertisement who wants to sell out the black community because they don't care nothing about your health, you know, one of the leading cause of deaths for black people in America is heart disease and diabetes, hypertension, I mean, literally obesity is rampant amongst the black community. However, you get people who want to sue McDonald's because they don't spend enough advertising to black people. That's like saying, why don't you sell us more stuff to kill us? How dare you, not sell things that's going to destroy our community on our network. Why won't you sell destructive things in our community on our network? Why you just sell it on a white people network where black people ain't listening to? But no, it's about money. Says the federal courts this week ruled that McDonald's will have to face a $10 billion lawsuit allegation that is discrimination or discriminates against black owned media channels by refusing to advertise on them. It says media tycoon, Bryant Byron Allen, a company Alan media group, we're bringing the suit against the fast food retailer with the U.S. district judge for Nando, outgoing, all going, I think it's how you say his name. Kari Lake: The Best Gift Received by Liz Cheney

"Cheney came out vowed that she would campaign against Kerry Lake, even if she's campaigning for Democrats. And so Carrie Lake was on Fox and gave this response road clip 8. I want to point out what Liz Cheney has said about you when speaking at this Texas tribune conference yesterday. She says, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure Carrie Lake is not elected. Your reaction. That might be the biggest best gift I've ever received. I mean, the people of Wyoming can't stand her. I'm pretty much sure that the people of Arizona don't like Liz Cheney. You know, here's the deal, Maria, the Republican Party, the new Republican Party, is the party of we the people. It is no longer the party of warmongers. And so Liz Cheney probably should change her voter registration. Turns out she really is a Democrat, after all. That's why I love Carrie. They mess with the wrong woman there. They miss with a woman that already know how to talk 'cause she's been on television and she has these one liners that are literally career ending campaign ending. Liz Cheney is a trash bag of a candidate

Why Did the Democrats Choose Stacey Abrams?

"Stacey Abrams rebutted, I had a response to, I don't know what it would be considered officially, but she had came through and I said, who is this woman? Because I've never heard of her before, she does not appear to be a part of the Clinton cabal or a part of the Obama legacy. None of those things. I've never heard of her never seen her before. And she looked kind of sloppy if you ask me, she don't really look like she's well put together. She's very smart. It seems like she's educated, but she didn't seem like she was someone that the Democrat party wanted to present as the next generation of Democrats, right? Because Barack Obama was a significant play for the Democrat party. I'm going to leave it at that. I mean, he was good-looking, very charismatic, you know, he was then presidential, you know? He could speak. He would say all the right things and the Democrats could really use him and they did to usher in this idea of the first black president and it got a lot of people fired up and a lot of people voted for him. A lot of black people voted for him just because he was black, understandably so I don't think he's right, but I understand why. But why did they choose Stacey Abrams? Is the biggest question? The Stacey Abrams ran against governor Kemp in Georgia and she lost. I mean, she got a butt handed to her. She lost by 55,000 votes. Now she keeps coming back, she keeps showing up, and of course she's running again. This year, find herself in a position of authority for the Democrat party.

"My question My question is people don't vote generically when they're voting for their congressmen or their voting for their senators Is that generic ballot I mean maybe is that important You know we do it have to agree with you I mean it's not like we live in a parliamentary system and people are casting their votes that way And really there are a lot of these there's only a few competitive districts And the rest of the districts are drawn to favor Democrats or Republicans So I think we're stronger than even the generic ballot advantage of 5 But it's kind of one of those things that everybody just accepts And we all participate in it but I agree that there are a lot better ways to measure it And certainly the best sense of what's going to happen is looking at these competitive states and especially the statewide which aren't based on a special advert just based on an entire state

Robert Cahaly: Polls Suggest Good Signs Leading Into November

"About the midterm election sort of generally right now We're hearing mixed messages mixed polls the Democrats are holding out hope that it won't be a Republican wave The Republicans are holding out hope that we take the house maybe even the Senate What are you thinking I say nothing but good signs One of the things that really frustrates me is I feel like there's a lot of the kind of establishment some of the media polling firms some of the big university public firms they're trying to impact what people think of me Some of these polls are out there And I'm not sure that they're actually doing the job A poll should reflect the electorate not be designed to affect the electorate and I worry that the latter is what a lot of these polls are out there trying to do They're trying to create a narrative They just doesn't exist This is an excellent year for Republicans We have competitive candidates and I really don't see much of what they're talking about And when we start putting honest numbers out there we see these media pulsars who don't mind being wrong when they're all wrong together but they don't like it when anybody's right And they're starting we're starting to bring in a little honest to do them and I think they don't want to be embarrassed again And so you're going to start seeing them acting like a shift that's happened It's not a shift It's been like this

We trained everybody in the state of California. Okay, I was a training guy. And let me explain this to you. When they decided that the COVID here and all of a sudden, all these police officers left, the ones that had tenure, the ones that knew what they were doing. The ones who had the type a personality and then things changed. What happened is that they have been recruiting people in the old days ex GIs. Well, guess what? Things change. And now the people in charge, if you get in a fight before you go into the department, you're not going to make it in the academy. You're not going to be invited, okay? They want people who are passive and do nothing and follow orders. Okay? People are dramatically smaller now. Why? Because they had to take certain things out of the test. The recruitment for all departments used to have to drag a guy out of a car. It's a dummy. It weighs a 160 pounds. Oh gosh, that's too heavy. Let's not do that anymore. Okay? They just have to climb a 6 foot ball. That's not, no, no, that doesn't, we don't do that anymore. And so on and so on. Okay, people who boxing, they took it out academy, okay? And then, like when I worked the station, you put in a policy where if you stop a black person in Compton and he goes, no matter what you did or didn't do, and he goes to your death sergeant and says, this person called me a racial name. Democrats Are Hiding From Their 'Defund the Police' Rhetoric

"But we're at a time where we're about to decide who gets to make the decisions on how things like that are done. Talking about policing. There's one party that is has made its mission, particularly ever since George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose in an idiot cop who wouldn't let him get up. He did not kill him. I still say the fact that he had 7 times the lethal amount of fentanyl in his system. 7 times and still didn't die showed exactly how much tolerance his body had built up to the dangerous drugs, but George Floyd situation. Ever since George Floyd died in that terrible situation. The left has been preaching and screeching to defund police. To take funds away from police so they can't hire any more cops to literally fire cops to eliminate police departments and replenish them with a replace them with social services, civilians or something like that. Yeah, just send people with their clipboards to talk down a violent shooter in the middle of a hate crime or whatever the case might be. They've been trying to defund cops now for two solid years. Now as we head into this midterm, of course, they're trying to revise the history and say, we've never said that. In fact, it's the Republicans who want to defund police. You believe that, they actually tried that again. It's the projection that gets you. To me, it's one thing to have terrible ideas. It's another thing to cast aspersions on other people with the same ideas that you actually hold. So they actually try to try to convince voters that the Republicans are the ones who are soft on crime and the Republicans are the ones who are anti police or defund the police or abolish the police or whatever.

The Four Points of the 'Commitment to America'

"The one put forth here by speaker Kevin McCarthy is the commitment to America. I'm holding the card in my hand and if you're watching on Salem Salem news channel or on the Dennis prager show channel via via Skype or however you're watching it, you can see this, I have the palm card in my hand, it doesn't work so well like that. There we go. I have the palm card in my hand and it is the commitment to America in its four bullet points with a whole bunch of information underneath each, but the four points an economy that's strong, a nation that's safe, a future that's built on freedom, and a government that's accountable. Now, I'll be darned if I wouldn't look at those four things and think to myself those were almost identical to the principles put forth by the founding fathers. And yet we're being accused of trying to destroy America an economy that is strong. And that is capitalist that is based on consumers. Deciding what they need in driving. The engine, you know, that makes this economy strong. It is not something that is decided by a government. Supply and demand free market. That makes an economy strong and that is inconsistent or it is consistent with the founding fathers belief that we should be free we are a free capitalist republic.

People are embracing it. Look at what just happened in Sweden and then yesterday in Italy with the election of Jorge maloney, who, by the way, they want you to think that she's some sort of a female Mussolini. I mean, even some of the conservative news networks are buying into the language, calling her a far right extremist. "Of all, yes, I am a mega Republican. In fact, when Donald Trump even announced he was going to run for president before anything else came up, being a person that also ran a business of my own over 30 years manufacturing in that. I figured it's about time we get somebody in there that knows how to run things. All right. I don't want to take a whole lot. I like that. But anyway, I want to go ahead and I want to add on. First, I'm proud to see that the Republicans are at least going ahead and got this contract out. I think that's very important. Now the next thing, and here's the thing that they should add on to that. This is a contract like you sign a contract. He's signing this contract. They are with every American, whether it be Democrats or Republicans or whatever. Every American. That means that we're going to hold them to that contract. It's like a contract. And here's something that people are missing too in this whole system. We are the government. Everybody that walks around and talks about the government. No, that's you and I. If it wasn't for the money, we spend to put them where they are, then what's happening is the fact that they couldn't exist. So here's another thing that we have to keep with Americans first in war. In line with. And that is that being that we are the government, then that means we are giving you money to be able to do the things that we want, not what you want, what we want. So that's number one. Now,

And then they compared it to a cult and people Trump is just like Hitler and it just follows through people just don't have enough common sense to look past that. But I mean, think about how evil that is, you mean to tell me that the crowd was, they lifted their arms in prayer and Hillary saw that and compare that to a Hitler rally? It's not just, it's not just Hillary. Like I said, I saw it on Facebook yesterday with the same thing. You're kidding me. No, no, I'm very serious. I mean, I had heard something about music a QAnon music bed or something, where we go one, we go, whatever one of their phrases is, I don't even know what that's about, but you're saying it was more about raising your arms, their arms and prayer and then people claiming a heil Hitler gesture? Yes, think of them. They compare it to a cult. I hear that. That's the new word. I see that all the time on social media where they compared oh, it's a cult. It's a cult, but Trump called, look, I'm not a cultist. I'm not a cultist that I don't follow that. It's just the latest tactic that they have to do. And like I said, nobody has enough common sense these days to look past one image of something. They think everything out of context. "What does a maga Republican maga of course was coined by president Trump in his first campaign, you know, he wanted to make America great again, which sounds all kind of reasonable. I've got no problem with that whatsoever. Make America great again, okay? But the left has turned it into a pejorative that means if you are maga you are all about Donald Trump and Donald Trump alone. If you're a member of the maga Republican community, you're a member of the Trump cult. And I would like to just kind of dispute that for a second. And you know who else I would think would dispute that maga is all about Donald Trump. You know, I think would be very, very adamant that maga and America first are all about one man about fealty about loyalty to a cultish personality blah blah blah. You know who else would say that? Donald Trump would. Donald Trump would tell you what I'm about to tell you. Maga and America first? Or not about one man. It's not about your undying loyalty to the 45th president. Rather, and I told this to an audience at a speaking engagement last week. Maga is about 330 million men. And women, and children, not one man. 330 million people, making America great again, or keeping America great. And I guess we have to go back to maga now, you know, for a while there, and Trump's reelection campaign in 2020, it was keep America great because we had done great things together under his leadership. Preparing for Hurricane Impact in Florida

"The movie escape from New York. Well, I reversed it. Only dummy me escapes Florida to come to New York to avoid the effects of a hurricane. Hurricane Ian is bearing down on potentially the West Coast of Florida. You know, it's so funny to talk to a longtime floridians because I'm a relatively new Floridian. I've only been there a couple of years. People have lived there forever. Tracy and barbio. The spirits of Tampa, they always thwart a hurricane. It doesn't hit the West Coast. It always goes left and always goes east or west or north or it never really hits us. And this time they seem to be suggesting it could. So we had to make a calculated decision over the weekend, I don't love it. I don't love it at all. I'd rather actually be in Florida, but I got to be on the air and there's a little thing called electrical power that one needs to stay on the air. And even though they got a great generator system set up at Salem Tampa and I just did not want to flip a coin or roll the dice rather and hope to be and plus if the power goes out and I don't have AC now that's a catastrophe, okay? If I don't have air conditioning, we got a big problem on our hands. I'm not sitting around sweltering in the heat because the AC went out because the power is out. I looked up where my condo is, I mean a level a bright red evacuation zone for hurricanes. Because I'm literally on Tampa Bay.

It has integrated itself so strongly into our daily lives that inaccessibility for even a day feels like suffocation. This of course is trivial. Compared to what is truly important life makes us so busy that when we get out of bed the first thing we do is to check our phones for miss calls or messages instead of taking time to thank god for taking us through the night and sparing breath for another day we are gradually losing the essence of acknowledging god's protection and provision by concerning ourselves more with what our mundane workload demands. We forget to spend time with god in prayer and in reading of his word. Because we care more about what is going on in cyberspace. Technology is part of life in the twenty first century. It should be a priority to feel it within whenever we skip quiet time or prayer time or any other time devoted to god it is what keeps our inner man alive and strong enough to escape the traps of the enemy. Oh thank you..

"It's thursday august nineteenth and it always had to be this way for did it. We start here in an exclusive interview. President biden defiantly defended his choices on afghanistan. The idea that somehow there is a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing. I don't know how that happens with desperation gripping the streets and pandemonium on the runway and you don't think this could have been handled better in any way no mistakes george. Stephanopoulos walks us through his one on one conversation and she made out of kabul for sister. Dinner not change. They are rating houses. They shot full. They beat them go inside. The conversations between family members as the taliban begins knocking on doors from abc news. This is a special edition of start. Here i'm brad. Mielke united states has one commander in chief at a time but when it comes to afghanistan the last several american presidents republicans democrats have made remarkably similar decisions taliban regime. It's coming to an end since initial invasion when things get bad you send in more troops. It has been a tough month in afghanistan. But it's also been tough month for the taliban. I make this decision. Because i am convinced that our security is at stake in afghanistan and pakistan. When things seemed calmer you start to draw them down. We have agreed that this is the year we will conclude our combat mission in afghanistan. But then things get fat again right so for nineteen years. No commander in chief has simply vacated afghanistan. America will work with the afghan government as long as we see determination and progress however our commitment is not unlimited until now many who argue that we should stay stay in afghanistan because withdrawal when damage america's credibility and we can america's influence in the world. I believe the exact opposite is true. Any images that accompany this withdrawal are just as bad if not worse than what those other commanders in chief might have imagined strongholds falling within hours. Afghan leaders accused of corruption. Saying yeah yeah. Alabama city is yours. I can go to cafes. I can go to restaurants. I can go shopping. Grew staying home wary of being seen. What some guy deems immodest dress and perhaps the most gut wrenching images so far people holding onto an american plane for dear life as our personnel fled the country without them. There's one commander in chief at a time so yesterday. Abc's own george. Stephanopoulos became the first journalist to sit down with president at the white house. Since biden made the final call in kabul descended into chaos and minutes after that interview. George got into a car and gave us a call. There is george how are you. I'm doing all right. How are you. I'm rushing a union station. let's not this out l. Let's do this. So i mean you spoke to president biden the white house clearly. He's sticking with his decision. Here right how did he characterize his decision making process to you. Know second guessing at all. He took on those who said that the intelligence showed that we'd have this kind of rapid collapse of the afghan military and government back in july. You said a taliban takeover with highly unlikely was the intelligence wrong or did you downplay it. I think there was no consensus. You go back and look at the intelligence reports. They said that like more likely to be sometime by the end of the year. He said no one told what happens quickly. The idea that the taliban would take over was premised on the notion that the somehow the three hundred thousand troops we trained and equipped was going to collapse. We're going to give up. I don't think anybody anticipated time. They'll take by version to keep a small force there. He suggested that he was being told. It would take several thousand more troops for von period of time and a lot of lives if we were to say. He's not second guessing his decision. I don't think this could have been handled. This actually could have been handled better in any way. No mistakes no. I don't think it could have been handled in a way that they're going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there's a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing. I don't know how that happens. I don't know how that happened so for you. That was always priced into the decision. Yes and so he saying there was intelligence but was this a failure then to listen to the intelligence or he's just saying we always knew this would happen. I i asked him. Was it a failure of intelligence planning execution or judgment. He conceded nothing. he says. This is basically always going to happen when we withdrew when you had the government of afghanistan the leader that government getting a plane and taking off going another country when you saw the significant collapse of the of the afghan troops. We had trained to three hundred thousand of them just leaving their equipment and taking off that was you know this is what happened as simply what happened he. Where does this go here. Things get worse if people start being slaughtered if women are being arrested or beaten for going to school like is the plan. That's going to be like. Hey the taliban they were in the country now. The president is sticking by that august thirty first deadline with one big exception. He saying that troops will stay if we stop to get americans out and if we stopped to get a little more on our afghan allies interpreters translators. People helped us through the war effort commitment holes to get everyone out that in fact we can get out and everyone should come out and that's the objective. That's what we're doing now. That's the path. And i think we'll get so american should understand the troops might have to be there beyond august thirty. First know america's and understand that we're going to try to get it done before august but if we don't the troops don't will determine if the time who's left and and if you're american forces if there's american citizens left we're gonna stay little get them all out s for you know. The taliban taking over the president said it's a matter of priorities. It's matter par hard-boiled nash. Security calculation so there are a lot of countries where women are are subjugated where women are discriminated against women face violence and lack of rights. He said well we don't. We can't send our military in a to solve those problems in every country in the world to such high stakes for all these decisions here and the pictures are almost universally alarming to americans right. But i do think that it's tricky for americans to figure out you know who's responsible for these images right. Is it president biden because of the way he just did this withdrawal. This president trump actually kind of orchestrated negotiated withdrawal. Talking about george w bush forever. I mean how does biden see this as his mission or z. Cleaning up after others. He's been pretty consistent over the last fifteen years. He wanted so that. I think that's one of the reasons. He's not conflicted right now or not communicating any sense of being conflicted about this decision. But we've all seen the pictures we've seen those hundreds of people packed into a c. Seventeen we've seen afghans falaise four days ago five days ago. What did you think when you first saw those pictures. I thought was weird. We have to gain control this. We have to move this more quickly. We have to move in a way in which we can take control that airport and we did. He did suggest that had president trump made the agreement with the taliban might have had a slightly different time. Why but no second guessing at all on the big decision the strategic decision to withdraw from afghanistan. Last question political one i. I don't know if it's too soon to go to politics. But what does this do for. The image of the joe biden white house and the democratic party going forward with. That's going to be a big question. I don't think. I don't think we know yet. I was talking to some white house officials today. Suggest they do you think he could take a bit of it there on the other hand i think the president is firmly believes that the american public pretty firmly agrees with him on the big picture. The twenty years in.

"Abrash in the comics you certainly come to side with him in the face of evil similarly with kali though sam had a great speech very effective a one of the best written for the show. Did you gain sympathy for carly after death. I sent me did little bit little bit. Was sam you know. I think he he phrased so eloquently that he didn't have a problem with her goals. It was her methods. That was the problem the way she was out. He literally in fact she was misguided which is exactly the point and ray continuing is still viewed her evil in the way she didn't consider human life and in brackets. He says she indirectly even says battle stars. Life was pointless very influence. She was a little bit of a sociopath that regard so though i very much sided with sam when he told off the senators i couldn't find the same empathy sam had for carly i think arro- was written quite opened down in that sense. I think we're meant to feel disgust. Then have empathy for her but it was quite a difficult thing to balance. I guess that's the point though. Everything isn't necessarily black and white. Don't think that's that's the conclusion of the message. I haven't missed any now. I just want to make sure i have anything. They're going to cut you off ray. So no exact exactly. I'm just going to check you. Troll here are the hibbs exactly. That's right now we don't we. Don't edit anything whatsoever just checking out here we go okay. Kazaa empathy. No that's it yeah. He everything isn't necessarily black and white so okay so i just went to double check. Okay yeah well. Thank you ray for riding in very much. Yeah next time you can. It's you're okay to come through the front window front door instead of the back window. Like i said exactly we. You woke of your concern. We we definitely appreciate you listening. "The end of the episode before this gorgeous because the series have been called obviously until the falcon aware soldier. So what better way to end on that. You know to have the title card. Now re captain. America in the word a soldier to reflect that. Sam wilson is now the new captain america. Exact so definitely wants it. So here's where we're gonna talk about. Salmon bucky air. Were also going to talk a lot of their various storylines so dick. What are your thoughts on our new captain. America in his first venture is well. Well first off by this i. I'm so happy that you know. He fully embraced it by the end of the show. As i suppose. It was very predictable. Yeah he did he did pick up the mantle and just seeing him in the costume. It was such a huge moment. I just wanted to stand up and cheer when that happened. Because i'm sure had this been shot in a movie theater folks who probably been cheering at this point when when shows up and and as i mentioned the fact of having the wings as well it's it's nice inc almost of iron man and captain america together because he has the technology but at the same time he's also got shields so they're almost like molding tech and patriotism into one character for the time being because of course they will be on the cactus coming along so we'll have to see who takes the mantle of iron man whether it will be i hearts but they go to that. Don't don't go over skis on this one because we'll get there. We'll get there exactly got to introduce her first right. That's right so let's not go down that road immediately. But i was so happy to see. And he owns this character from the olden the mantle from the get-go as soon as he shows up he's just treating people know that he is captain america. He's taking folks down and the fact that he doesn't have the serum. I think as even more potency of the whole thing because he actually addresses he might die the fact he's not he's not john walker or he's not steve rogers with the super soldier serum but i think that adds that extra own to the whole thing the he he is like the every man if you will so that's why he incorporates american sense it he really represents what is the best of the of america without needing enhancements and. I hope he doesn't get the super soldier serum to be honest. I like him this way. It's almost like batman if you will because batman doesn't have any sort of that he's rich that's about it that's his superpower power right but he has just basically a guy with gadgets. So that's why. I'm hoping they keep it with the with the same as one. I think it will stay that way. And also bucky. I think was just so pleased and happy you could see. Bucky was just like bucky white. Cry at one point because we're just so overjoyed to see that i think probably relieved. Finally you've decided to do this after we've been here six episodes and you finally decide. Decided bit he took on the fight. Was i really enjoyed the various pieces. We got all over the place. They were just. They were great. It was very well choreographed. It was entertaining and yeah it was very very happy with it. The i do wonder where bucky goes from here. Yeah that's my only question because it's kinda left on address. This is going to be a kind of drifta after his talk with you with your e is you're going to join a samagan saying you know..

"Be killed by the police. Go vague ear right in superheroes which in the marvel comics. Superheroes is reflecting the world outside your window because marvel likes to say. Hey you know. We're the convicts company that addresses these kinds of things where you know. That was one of their big slogans back in back in the day that staley liked to consider marvel the the world outside your window and so when when these tv shows these marvel comics tv shows. I might stress are doing that. I think that you kind of need to appreciate why that's happening. And if you do have a problem with it you need to. I think probably should do some self exploration about why you have that problem. I'm right with you. I do think some so searching required from these individuals who feel this way not to mention if you want. tv shows to be more sophisticated russia's the way you go if you just want to kind of ignorant dumb kind of series of people fighting yeah slice. Vela's slugfest exactly. How do you expect this genre to move forward to be recognized at a higher level if you don't su dress like this also. I didn't think they were particularly preachy. Either i've seen some breaches shows. Believe you me you and i actually to knock on tangent charles for you and i watched penny dreadful city of angels right and you felt that was excessively preachy. A little bit a little bit. I know that there's some criticism of supergirl because that's show can really get up on the soapbox down then blatantly so but here i mean this subject matter that was addressed. Here you know in this episode has been addressed throughout the previous episodes. Exactly it all. This is just a culmination of that. This is where it's brought to. Its climax in the story. And you know. A very transitional. Moment for sam wilson so. I don't really get you knew that going in. Why are you suddenly so upset about it. Now unless you're just upset that again that a black man is captain america. Now i as i mentioned. I just think it's people being bought sore about where everything's been happening..

"Yes so that was nice to have that little bit of continuity throughout all these episodes because they look great in thought. She did a great job at direction in this series. Oh so well paced charles this. It was amazing how quickly this episode possibly by in the sense that just the action packed there was emotion and everything was addressed and tied up so well. I take my hat off to this. Kind of finale. Didn't few clunky. It didn't drag on and you got a little bit of everything so definitely kudos to it just carries for room for sure. And hopefully you'll get more and more projects and bigger projects. 'cause now we've seen what she can do right so hopefully she will get more more work to do when it comes to the mc for sure nice if she got a certain movie yes which will talk about this. I'm so hoping they do give her that. I think that would be a nice little bit of continuity if she she took over the next captain america movie as we learned in going to happen so we told you so if you remember last week so seeing is she ushered in this new captain america. I think we'd be only fat disney to give this woman. Yeah johnston the movie. I think she proved it. I think she proved she can handle it so here. We are the final episode. What else was your general reaction to this. Because i gather you enjoy the finale. I thought you appreciate that wrapped up a lot of loose ends like you said yes. Was there anything else that your actions regarding this episode look. I don't think you could have done any better than this. Because i suppose you possibly could have done in a second post credit scene teasing future movie. That didn't happen. But i'm still satisfied because maybe unlike one division waited. Leave a lot hanging threads hanging out. It didn't really. It was may because some people can see it as a cop out. I think this was less of a cop out. In the sense it concluded the yard. It said here is where we're at. The objective was to be a coming of age. Show if you will or the next era and they accomplished that so there was nothing. I felt unsatisfied about the only thing that was unsatisfied. About was they were anymore episode. I'll happy about it. Chose did you have any nitpicks complaints. When he came to this finale. Though i mean i was trying to read some of the online reactions to this and unfortunately there's a segment in. I kinda knew this was coming given the subject matter in this particular episode. There's a there's a contingent that obviously hated the idea that this was this episode is bogged down in. What they they feel as he'll woke miss. It's the politics of everything in in trying to understand why people for whatever reason think that a hero named captain america wouldn't have any kind of political connection exactly it comes with the territory right right the name america..

"I like i like it. It's definitely culturally aware. Were in it is right. You could definitely tell us a twenty twenty movie. That's great at least at least they actually know that when it's gone for it's not like it's dated and there's a lot of easter eggs to the second watch. I noticed a bunch of moving from the series in the one i saw was the exorcist. Goes i love that episode. There there is a lot of Poster easter eggs. Yeah watch out for all right. I'm pretty much sold on that. And with the the order. That i'm watching is actually pretty good. It has about this kid who burst into this college looking for the secret society that supposedly killed his mother and so his grandfather is trying to seek revenge on that secret society and then we also have where wolves who also are also against that as well so he becomes a double agent trying to take down the order warlocks and witches and stuff. What magic ivan loss. That one. Another one that phone lines that i just right just so i haven't got a chance to watch season two yet. I like maybe two episodes away from finishing season one. How many seasons are there out there. what's this one. Would the order just two seasons. So you're able to foot series by what episode of the season. It's like i want to say it's like ten episodes. I think or maybe thirteen somewhere around that area. They don't normally do much more thirteen right three. It's easier to binge and they just released unsolved mysteries which was like sixty. "With Wilson Rameau's because Rommel's. I won't let you go around a little bit of a bad line there the bottom line is I thought would you already had to say was interesting and it's a delicate situation because you don't want to alienate one player at the expense of the other you want all players on the same page and wonder stand it's all about winning. and there isn't a guard who is blaming the his higher or ERA when Rameau's is catching as opposed to a lower ERA one need a hole and door Rivera are catching a lot of it is probably as psychological as it is anything else you can get comfortable with the particular character we understand that but the bottom line is you know Rameau's summing Syndergaard as to understand the Rommel's been hidden like four hundred and has just been added that twenty six game hitting streak everything and hitting all through I don't think governor almost waiting out in the month of August so the bottom line is what drawer Artie's idea was to all rides and know what we're gonna give you need now and you could have your personal character and you better pitch to that too we are a instead of the five with Rommel's but alright here's NATO and then between that stored and his following start Friday convincing them that what it's all about the team needing to win. and when now and Rameau's from an offense of point of view gives the mats the best chance of winning. need over Vera they're not as good what they heading and you're talking about a catcher who has been on fire and you're talking about a catcher right around three hundred is not the greatest defensive catcher that's for sure but he has been so helping and contributing and don't forget and then twenty six game winning streak three four times he came off the bench to continue they hitting streak with a pantry ads so the bottom line is no he's done the job especially in the second half of the season worries turned turned up his offense of game and and Syndergaard asked understand that my fear is that Syndergaard is going to be traded and set a Wheeler Wheeler was good last night as the the metropolitans beat what they add the snakes we'll learn as lance three starts to one with the one fifty ERA the house streaky I mean comes out from the all star break AB may be feeling good that he wasn't traded a as a couple of good starts in a couple of starts it to were just awful and now in his last three starts to many able to get it down in Arizona as a good team coming out of no where and they came and city field winners I think it was eleven out of fourteen they were doing very well and it moved so close said to the cubs but the Mets have beaten them twice and Wheeler was terrific for seven innings and what I will wanna say dance and why and they're great at what they do they have the great announcer is not the best TV baseball announcers you're going to find anywhere with that Gary and Keith and Ron and the technical staff the camera crew the director they're all just great put lease please you don't have the show is D. as warming up standing up in the bullpen in the nine burning solve trusting even. the walls are going to come in because all men women and children were like a horrified did just the sight of him they didn't have to take that shot they took a shot at D. as like for a softer was sitting in the ball better in the ninth inning and Johnson while some please leave me alone and Justin Wilson with the four out say can raise your hand if you wanna JD Davis to start over Todd Frazier and know all Michael flagman raises him but not now were lower that OR. because of Frasier with all three RBIs than the two doubles so the man every driver you know you get complaints in the air from metropolitan bands of what it why it's Frazier starting we who cares about the defense or one J. D. day this. and every job everyone complains like as soon as they hear the line up already yeah and and then he starts heading would six RBIs one night he had the three RBIs in the three to win with the meds just a little while ago and so like the kid from Toms River coming through every day must listen to the radio station to get motivation from all the negativity yeah I don't know when that be great because of listen there's been plenty of plenty regarding Frasier won't be around next year but the core of the team what they make a meal with the one with the Alonso with that with that JD Davis with Rosario with they hitting Iraq could Ford is going to have over thirty home runs with Rommel's listen this is a a five new NMO to die for because every count goes to three and two with them all and hustling to first base on a walk he's been on ever since he came back you know for missing the entire season practically he is there but it gets our bags and draws a base out by balls and and is the anti could no getting over there to first because his friends over there. he had wanted badly game earlier where he took three pitches for strikes and that said nobody said a word because you'll know that the next at bat is going to work the count of three and two would draw what..

"Of the NRA is not going to change everything it's not gonna make people to put down their arms and just you know give the mop they're still going to be you know a gun lobby of its not the array it'll be the month something else that form so I really don't see what good that does there's got to be something out there where I think right now until we figure out whether there's going to be legislation if the thief something stapling role you know we've seen it work in some places that has always worked but at least try to bring down the beach or making prevents of the terrible tragedy from happening yeah I mean I'm all for you know something is common sense perhaps if there is anything that does need to be looked at as far as the set I mean I'd like to stop the shooting just like everybody else but at the same time you know we we never really discussed how many times a law abiding citizen uses a firearm to defend themselves and their family against the bad guys I mean we don't really the highlight that as much as we should now we have a man shooting of seven people dead yesterday in Texas I think it was or we might have even other numbers of you know which of these other shootings and and that is magnified right but we really don't talk about how many times the innocent person actually defends themselves with a firearm. no we don't I mean you hear some instances in our there is I think shooting at a convenience store gun owner was able to stop a thief with me about shooting the thief and preventing you know tragedy there but you don't hear a whole lot of it and you know whether it's the news media directing the narrative you know the old it if it bleeds it leads the Nerio but you know it's far as heroes you don't hear much about them unfortunately because it's always pushing this narrative of you know this is what happens then yeah the fact that we don't have gun control laws this is continuing whether trump fault because people are inspired by what he says and you know I'm seeing all the people like you know a thing about the the gunmen in el Paso being inspired by what trump said and then he was with the promises well I may have had strong words on immigration I've not really heard anything you know in a white supremacist that has been said nine Toby one right in Delhi by to go ahead and shoot anybody how long will come right back to you just a moment here because I'm up against the clock and we'll continue the discussion if you want to join the answer to give us a call here on the pad wall show I'm gonna tell it sitting in a news ninety three point one J..
