"Keep up so if they do take parker. I think that's where we see two of the car dealer right to of the blackjack dealer where he's going to find the worst cornerback over and over and over. I mean josh. We saw jimmy get towards fried. Wes welker how many years in a row just because the p the dolphins couldn't make adjustments. I think that's what this offense can do. Where they can look at wattle or wilson and say hey one of these guys is going to have a complete mismatch against the linebacker even against an ounce of linebacker four three four. They're not gonna be able to keep up with the likes of jalen. Waddell or wilson so. I think that is really where we're going to see to a freshman year to where he's concerned he sees things He's not used to and is uncomfortable. Compared to he knows the system that he's in and he knows that displayed book things looking a little weird. This guy is going to be open When he throws the ball. And maybe that's just testament this offense. No because we're sitting here we're talking about and it's all these mismatch all these pieces they brought in and we're not talking about the scheme in just a different positions. That godsey in god are going to put these players in. I don't know who's going to cover. Jalen while to be honest jake and sat your instead miami speedy wide receivers but we can take it one step further and talk about mike sick in here. I mean he's been a mismatch nightmare for the new england patriots over the last few years. So he's a guy who we see the confidence with to a ton a low we see the making place together so Throw him into the mix. How are the new england patriots. Going to be able to stop that and you know part of that. They're going to attack to a ton of a low. We're not gonna talk about them pressure to a time of love. Let's talk about one of the miami dolphins big big keys to this game and that getting pressure on the rookie quarterback mccorkell jones. Miami finished the two thousand twenty one season with forty one sack. That's the most since two thousand thirteen. I wanted to look up. Their blitz percentage did not look up. So we're just going to say sixty nine percent that'll be the default nights. They got the quarterback on sixty nine percent of their blitzes. That's not accurate all for me. I'm just. I go back to that charge game where justin herbert was coming into that game. You know mid season. That's what people continue to forget. He was coming amid season. And this guy looked confused and he just had the one of the best seasons by a rookie quarterback. I mean how's mccorkell. Jones gonna fair you know after what two three preseason games not even getting all the first team reps going out there with a new team seeing a brian floors defense. That's going to be the key to this game. And i think the dolphins gotta hit him hit him. Hit him her. They got to attack him early and force him to make mistakes. But you know s. Some people brought up on twitter. I think this game's going to go out to try to establish the running. They're going to do a lot of this underneath stuff that we've become accustomed to with new england because they got to get the ball out quick because brian floors is definitely smelling blood. Like a dog in the water jazz. It might just be. Because i'm too young. Can you explain to me. Your mac jones game a little bit. Oh the mac. That's actually god given name as mccorkell. Oh so it's not even a joke. And that's steve. Steve come and i made on the last one and that was the from failures. It was like denied. You might not stupid. come on okay. i'm sorry. I mccorkell is stooge real name. So i'm just calling mccorkell until you know i'm on until he's no longer new england patriots Yeah josh you bring up a great point. And i think the way they're gonna attack mcchord we'll start with the same. They did attack justin. Herbert i mean. What was it keelan allen who sang after that game that that justin herbert looked so scared playing so scared. That type of thing. I think that is really the the major part of the context. I think we're missing when we're looking at about the point spreads we're looking about the fact that miami's defense is cheaper than patriots. Indie f is the fact that i think brian floor is knows how to make these guys really confused really uncomfortable especially when you have guys like a male and jalen phillips who hopefully will be pushing along that edge. Josh does start. I think with the patriots and their offensive line. I think the dolphins are going to need to stop the run. And that's why you attack rate. The dolphins breaking news not the greatest team against the run. They weren't last year. I don't think they're going to be this year. But the more pressure you being the more people you keeping the box i mean. That's when you're forcing jones to really know air it out. If he's going short. I'm sure bryan floor is gonna be ready for that and that's where we might see. You know the giovane hollick six. The nick needham pick six where one it's one of those out routes and i mean if this replica book and maybe it's not fair to compare him to herbert because herbert honestly played a pretty good game in there. I think he still had two touchdowns yet. Interception was only sacked twice so maybe mccorkell welfare better than we think. But i made a joke. He's about mobile as drew bledsoe. And i don't know if you remember. Drew bledsoe jake but he was almost like a statue in pocket. So i listen to that of course okay. So that's the way. I see that and you brought up run and i think that's kind of the perfect segue into our next two keys. Because as we saw last season akita this rivalry so far has been time of possession and running the football. I know that's a big surprise right going back to the old school ways of football. When the dolphins lost a time of possession week one was thirty. Four minutes and forty nine seconds to twenty five minutes and eleven seconds so that is almost a ten minute difference when the dolphins won back in week fourteen. The dolphins almost had fifteen minutes more possession possessing the ball thirty seven minutes and twenty six seconds to their twenty two and thirty four so You know when you couple that possession with the dolphins success on the ground they rushed for two hundred and fifty yards on the ground in miami's twenty to twelve win back. In december miles gaskin did not play but salvin akhmed led the way with one hundred and twenty two yards on the ground. I mentioned that week. One loss to the new england patriots. And guess who led the team in rushing enac jake ryan fitzpatrick fig newton. It was fitting for the patriots cam. Newton cam newton led the way with one hundred seventeen yards on the ground. I think the next guy may have been sony. Michelle with three carry. So i mean if you're looking at why the new england patriots had such success against the miami dolphins last season. It was that run game and a lot of that stems from cam newton. Who's no longer there. So if they can go out there. And you know. Stop damian harris Stevenson to players..

"Had one hundred seventeen yards receiving on five balls as o'donnell went sixteen for twenty three with one hundred and eighty six yards two touchdowns zero interceptions not sparkling numbers. But you don't need it. You don't need sparkley numbers as a quarterback when you have those runners running the ball so this seemed like a seventy team as well with those dominant running game tony. It sure did. And i made note of it. One point late in the first half the steelers had a hundred sixty yards on the ground. I mean you do that today. Fangio throwing a parade for an entire game do that in the first half you talking about establishing dominance over your own it in a playoff game perfect definition of it it absolutely was tony once again. This was a fantastic game to watch. I really enjoyed it. I knew going in that they were going to dominate. And just focus to watch again especially against bill belichick and also made me happy because one of my least favorite coaches of all time was the defensive coordinator now not only is he might least favorite. It's because of something that happened. When i was working in enterprise rent a car and he screwed me over on a rental car in two thousand four but this guy is one of the greatest coaches of all time. It is amazing to think that bill. Belichick and nick sabin were on the sideline at the same time and the steelers smash them. Yeah i didn't even realize that. I'm sure i realized that at the time but nick saving was her coordinator tug about to future legends on the same sideline and he bill cower on the other side and i guess. Don't do business but nick sabin. I guess wow. I can't believe you did that to you. What a jerk. But anyways he was still lsu. And i was like that's it. I curse nick sabin. I hope he loses and that weekend. They lost to auburn. I was a case so there you go. I'm sure it bothers him late at night. And when he thinks he screwed over brian. Anthony davis the manager of enterprise radical at the time. But he knows deep down. I'm waiting for my apology. Mr sabin you wang with that being said for tony. My name is brian. Anthony davis you have just listened to the retro show and behind the curtain dot com. "Even Hunter Henry is kind of fallen by the wayside. Just five for forty five although the seven targets he saw against the raiders in week. Sixteen or as I were his highest in a long time. The jets are at the Bills House. I'll say this about the bills. I thought they run into a little bit better against New England. I like single Terry. But he was having a battle L. Forever Yard. Nothing was easy against New England and then Josh Allen Fascinates me. He's huge. He's got a crazy easy arm. He runs very well. He made some amazing throws he also misses some easy throws on third down which are killer and he takes sacks that absolutely destroy his team's chance to get a first down on that drive five He. He really amount. If you've ever going to be able to make you know he might just be somebody they can't make those throws but if that's the case he can't also take those sacks that he does Joe Oh yeah he's cleaned up the turnovers pretty well. I'll give him that But the Sachs the next thing to come and I think a lot of studies recently have shown that sacks Zack's in many ways just as bad as turnovers you know. oftentimes you see a whole a holding penalty that cripples drive all sack is very similar sack a sack even even worse than a holding penalty because you lose down as well so Alan Right. If he's GonNa misthrows and he's never going to be drew brees. We understand that. Very few quarterbacks are Dr Shawn Watson misthrows here and there Carson wentz misses throws here and there. But it's it's one of those things where he's gotta clean up the saks. He's got cleaned up the turnovers. I'll give him credit. I enjoy watching him just because he's so competitive and he can really throw the ball but obviously there are things that drive you nuts now now. We're bearing the lead for this game. The bills are locked into the fifth seed. They have nothing to play for the betting lines in Vegas reflect that they are only a one point favorite favorite at home against the jets. I would guess this would be up closer to six point line if the bills had things to play for. They do not So we have to keep an eye on that but it would not be shocking to see them rest Allen see them rest Frank Gore John Brown John Brown Coal Beasley. I mean these two guys have been really good wide receiving pair. I would not be shocked to see. See them rest of these guys. If the bills might indeed go out there and play either backups which opens up an entire other option for. DFS If you just want min price guys who are going to a who were going to potentially get some targets. Maybe the bills you know. You can't rest everybody. So maybe they have somebody like an Isiah McKenzie or Robert Foster who was important at the end last year. Who Comes on and he's going to get a lot of snacks? Here with the backups. But the risk playing those guys of course is they're playing with a preseason squad so the bills with nothing to play for is very interesting member Matt Barkley as backup quarterback not not necessarily what you would call a high quality backup but I figure figure we could see a Lotta Matt Barkley and a lot of TJ. Elden in this game remember him. He's on this roster. I think you could see a lot of Barclay Yeldan and if that's your that's your spice lights for. DFS Go for it. The bills have nothing to play for in this game. What about the jets on the other side? I will give their offense a lot. Better chance of success if if the bills arresting starters because you especially think one of the key guys that the jets the jets would rest would betray white thorough their top corner and that would open things up for somebody who's really come alive here. In recent weeks Robbie Anderson Robbie Anderson scored a touchdown here In Week in week number. Sixteen up very hard for me to look back at what happened between these two teams in week. One and say that it's in any way relevant especially since the bills might not play their starters but keep in mind in that game that lady on Abell had six catches and Jamison crowder had fourteen catches in that game. So maybe those are two guys. You look at especially if the bills wrestler starters but I'm not anticipating the bills Exactly trying their hardest when this ball game they can't move up or down in the AFC standings packers in the lions again packers played a night. We're we're not sure. There's a whole lot of permutations about NFC seating sir. Not exactly sure how they look tonight and or what they might be playing for next week. Yeah so the packers right now. If they win tonight they're going to be in a position to play for. I wonder if they can even send to the number one seed in the NFC. I do know at the very least if they win tonight. They can go get a one of the one of the top two seeds in the in the NFC. It looks like they have a very low chance of getting the number one seed bought They do still have an outside shot at doing so so the packers should have something to play life for in week. Seventeen if they lose tonight to the Minnesota Vikings they still will have something to play for if they beat the Detroit. Lions they can clinch the division. Just us by beating the lions so there should be motivation for the packers in week. Seventeen so we're going to look at. We're GONNA look at Aaron Rodgers as somebody who's probably going to be out there Davante Adams and Aaron Jones. All three of those guys who are really their only three fantasy valuable players at this point all three of those guys should be very popular for. DFS Next next week especially if alliance decide They're going to sit Daria slice. Somebody who's been in an off the injury report here in recent weeks. Then let's get to the other side with the Detroit. Lions play Kenny Golladay. And I'm not interested in anybody else to be completely honest with you. Maybe Danny Amendola on the cheap but David Lau was twelve. Twenty Four. For one hundred seventeen yards and a touchdown carry on Johnson came back but he split the backfield with Bo. Scarborough and tie Johnson. I think this is just a thing with Kerryon Johnson. Hey Hey you didn't finish your rookie season. Let's get you out there and show that you're healthy. You know get you on a positive note heading into the off season program. I have no interest in that. Lions Backfield Acteal. Kenny Golladay. And maybe Danny Amendola are the only two guys. I'm interested in their passing game. Then you've got the saints at the Panthers. Wow Saints are really really impressive man. They did not look good really in that game yesterday was like Oh no and then five consecutive touchstones stance. Well you look at the saints and you see the fact that drew brees on the road has traditionally been worse. It looked like that was the that was the thing road Rhode brees has been a thing and that was the case in the first half of that game against Tennessee but then they really let it up. And what more can you say about Michael Thomas. He already has the NFL record. The question is how high is he going to go. I'm going to win an important fantasy championship. Thanks to Michael Thomas. I came close in one that I didn't have a business coming close to a because Michael Thomas he has now caught ten or more passes in four of his last five games and in six of his last eight. Can he make it seven than of nine in this game against Carolina. I would think that's possible. The saints are heavy favorites in this game. And if you've have Alvin Kamara and you've been writing under this point you play in week. Seventeen you know that the Carolina Panthers have been hemorrhaging touchdowns two opposing running backs. I would think Alvin. Kamera's got a great shot. Get in the box yet again. He did it twice in week. Sixteen his first two touchdown since week three when he also scored touchdowns I Chimera is a great deal best remembered the saints do have stuff to play for because they have a shot at getting the number one overall seed in the NFC and you know damn well that if we're talking about drew brees in this offense on the road not not putting up numbers the way it does at home. You know the saints know about it. They want home field advantage. They want the road to the Super Bowl to go through the superdome panthers on the other aside that was not a great debut for will greer. He did get Christian. McCaffrey his record again. Yeah Christian McCaffrey Fifteen fifteen for one. Nineteen receiving a phenomenal season for him. Just a phenomenal player. Phenomenal fantasy year. You can't say enough enough about Christian. McCaffrey who dow Jo- here is the thing that I'm definitely looking out for me. And this is why Christian McCaffrey is going to be on. So many the best teams Rossi needs sixty seven receiving yards to have the first thousand thousand season since Marshall Faulk he's GonNa get his will greer's entire hire directive will be checked down to Christian as much as humanly possible the panthers have nothing else to play for. Dj More almost certainly not gonNA play because he has a concussion the receivers there's were utterly useless. Outside of McCaffrey. McCaffrey caught fifteen. Will Greer's twenty seven completions in that game. He threw for two twenty four and three interceptions. He is going to check jacket down. For digitally to Christian McCaffrey Christian. McCaffrey is going to earn his high priced on a on on. DFS Lights. And I think the panthers I think the saints are going to let them. They'll be like all all right. Check it down for six yards. We'll be fine with that. We're going to run all over your team Christian. McCaffrey is going to get to one. Thousand One thousand. I would love to see what his receiving yards. Prop is when that comes out. Because I would be very very interested in taking the over I think I think the markets are GONNA set it super high because they know what's coming as well finally Joe the last game here in episode one or shortest episode one of the year for scheduling reasons. Falcons at the Bucks Falcons are definitely GonNa play their guys and definitely try to win. Because I feel like they're trying to save you know Dan Quinn's job. I think Dan Quinn I think. They've kind of rallied around Dan Quinn a little bit. And you know the question then becomes if we're talking coaches what's the advantage of being one of league teams searching for a coach. Some some teams will just like to preserve the status quo. A Lotta people would be surprised to know that the Falcons have six wins at this point so I would think against Tampa Bay. I know devante Freeman came out and had a big game last week but Tampa Bay's run defense has been really good and it continued to be really good against Houston so Tampa. Bay's defense continued to be really good against Houston Carlos High Seventeen for twenty seven and a touchdown he got in the end zone. But that was just about it. A For them so I don't think it's a great matchup for devante Freeman the one thing. I will say Julio Jones Oh my Lord is this guy going to get peppered targets yes he will will. He is somebody who's going to earn his idea. Fest Price Tag. He has thirty five targets in his last two games. Without Calvin Ridley catching twenty three of them for three three for three hundred yards two touchdowns over the last two games yet. A Julio Jones is GonNa get peppered with targets and for for Atlanta Falcons it's coolio. It's it's Austin Hooper. I think you can take a shot Matt Ryan. I'm not really feeling devante Freeman this week. The bucks on the other side. How can we somehow do something thing.

"Poison I guess but I don't really I'm not sold on Damian Williams I just I don't know I don't know I've really liked to test this you know Darwin OPS and out in the regular season get him out there and see what he can do like we need some fireworks in the backfield and I feel like this is the perfect time for us to kind of test the waters with that you know let's use all of our backs because that's going to be a huge part of our our game plan moving forward until we get Patrick Mahomes Baxter unless utilize these backs in every single way we can and like I said just get the ball out of Matt Moore's hands yeah absolutely and just can't take it another step as far as roster stuff goes we're probably GONNA end up having to promote collar Shurmur from the practice squad I know that there there were some reports out there were some suggestions rumors that the cheese should go after partaking the giants backup quarterback and those those reports those rumors are ridiculous why would you bring in a guy who for the last three years house looked atrocious on the field why would we put him in there and makes no sense like we're better off with Matt Moore ten for nineteen one hundred seventeen yards and a touchdown look out I will take The Alex Smith Esq type quarterback to gay manage us into a few wins here yeah absolutely that other quarterback with would not be able to hit the broad side of a barn in our Vince with these wide receivers he doesn't have the timing doesn't have the arm strength and by bringing him in and if we were to let him start we gave the the threat that that the cheat it is downfield because I think everybody knows that that guy can't throw the down the field anymore that guy is is Eli manning for everybody I just I'm sure Chris doesn't like that last name coming out of his mouth I don't I have no problem with the other well I mean I don't know what your beef is with Eli but I will say I mean I I've never been manning fan although the only thing that I feel like he deserves a hall of fame ballot fours he's the only guy to to be the paper the super bowl twice so with that being said I'm not gonNA give too much props I don't want I don't want anything to do with that's narrow too I also heard Brock Osweiler and I laughed at that I've heard Colin Kaepernick of laughed at that I've it's also a look it's one of those things we're GonNa roll out with Matt Moore I don't think we go spend a whole bunch of money if I would have said if chase Daniel was a backup right now and we got our hands on him for the rest of the season I would say we got after that but other than that I'm sure we're GONNA have to pull a quarterback in backup Matt Moore and Hey who knows we might bring somebody in who's who's throwing the ball around something fierce and we we might get lucky so our are we sticking with Matt and bring in behind him I think we're going to stick with Matt I really don't I don't know there's so many crazy names out there that could possibly get brought in to back him up ultimately I think that we we need to stick with Shurmur but looking at all of the guys that I've heard or seen mentioned the one who I think might be able to do well in our offense would be an e. and you just mentioned in many ways is capture nick tapper nick at least has the arm strengths to throw it downfield or at least he did the last time that he played but bringing him in is going to bring a whole nother plethora of problems and media attention that for a team that's trying to get to the Super Bowl we really don't need to add onto our plate we've got enough drama has yes and and you're right about that so moving forward I feel like we're sticking with Matt Moore to it seems like the safe logical reason he managed that game and did very well and for having no reps with our first team I mean he he really did great I feel like that we're going to be okay moving forward without Patrick Mahomes here for a few weeks so the are receiving core John here are receiving core like I said tyreek Hill three steps and three receptions for seventy four yards and touchdown the twenty four point seven yards poor reception average Travis Kelsey had six receptions for forty four yards with seven point three yards per reception average and democracy Robinson got back in the mix that was nice look it was really mixed up or you know across the board for receivers demarcus Robinson caught three passes McCall Hartman to am Hartman has touchdown which I'm sure you are Shawn McCoy car to Daryl Williams car to Damian Williams cut to as well but they were a negative yards so are receiving we did well and that's another thing that Matt Moore got the ball around Qatari killed in touch the ball until Matt Moore came into the game yeah and that was in the third quarter that he finally got his first catch yes but hey I will say it was it was great to get him in the mix because I mean he burnt that guy for touchdown immediately I catch home what like an eight yard catch next catch boom gone for touchdown so that'll tell you if we're gonNA lean on somebody besides game I feel like Tyreek Hill be a good guide lean on and Travis Kelsey as well I've I've Kelsey can get those blocks Chelsea's been shut down here the last few weeks they're really getting their hands on him on the line and you can tell it's frustrating him yesterday's game he definitely had a breakout you kind of found himself again and I mean you look at these targets he was targeted he times he caught six of those I mean I love I love that that ratio to Marcus Robinson targeted five times constable three I mean these shows are fantastic which tells me that Moore was putting the ball where these guys could catch which is great and as my thing is as long as he doesn't make the big mistake then he utilizes you know all of these star players that he has around him puts the ball in the right place he'll be all right like I keep saying just get the ball out of Moore's hands so look let's I'll tell you what the chiefs defense was okay well non existent for the last three weeks and with that being said holy cow these guys nine on defense that was just a whole other level that was like the early nineties defense that hey we appreciate the chiefs defense for showing because that's what we've been waiting for the city I feel like that was amazing I mean Chris take off because I'm speechless about this output that can see Heaves did last night on D. shutting down our division rival in Denver and it wasn't even injury to patch starting you start on that first drive on the first drive they had them three and out within due to a Frank Clark face masks penalty they got to extend the drive to get the ball rolling another three now out within there was another foul all until he got it down and then they ended up punching into the end zone but they were stopping the run from the get-go yes fantastic on the first drive different have rushing play over five yards which was great because tell you what that those stats the defense put up last night were non-existent I feel like they made up for everything you don't the last three weeks in one game they did come down and score that I touch on their only points to the game we're on the first drive the very first Dr it was a penalty on the on the field goal and so they moved to the one and then they thought they decided to go for two and that's where they screwed Vinnie to run it in and ragland came up and got an absolute monster stop at like the two inch line which was great than that set the tempo for the rest of the game honestly because we got the ball in our hands went down God scored a touchdown and then we stopped.

"Doc kingdom all things Kansas City chiefs brought to you by Arrowhead empty joined Chris Richard on iheartradio apple podcast podcast against Matt Moore by any means when I say this but when he's not of Patrick Mahomes and he one of his throws he overthrew him so I mean that's good to see that he has that big arm still in that he could still aired out I think that that was a good message to opposing defenses that we're going to be seeing is watch out for this guy he can still throw it but we're still yeah no that was an absolutely beautiful throw and a he definitely showed some some some good throws he made some bad throws last night for a backup who hadn't really had any reps with the start with the starters I think he did pretty good as far as stepping in it'll be interesting to see the type of quarterback that we see stepping son step in and take the snaps we from now against Green Bay yes now back to mahomes ruled real quick will will get back to this you know he did have an MRI and I really about you are but let's see who do we have done for like you said we have we have green bay coming up that's going to be Michael Jordan of football just went out and I'm just happy that it's three weeks I'm stuck still blown away by this on I'm the scissors huge I want Patrick mahomes back and I want him back healthy and that's really where it lies I hate to see what had been last night look here's a getting tweets from Lebron James Prayers from Lebron James Tweet from Russell Wilson and the list goes on and on and on and there's mad respect for this scenario so you know all those prayers help in for Mahomes and look we just need to get him back healthy and get them back on the field because that's the guy who can who can ultimately take us pass New England and get the Super Bowl victory that we want so I also get it is time for his ankle to heal as well so there's going to be a lot of healing here like mahomes needs this time off and I think it's going to help them and more than in one way but we can go ahead and get back to Matt Moore is kind of a wrap up this thing with Patrick Mahomes even though I'm sure we'll talk about it here again but he did look okay you know the stats here he threw for what one hundred seventeen yards and that's not bad for stepping in ten for nineteen and a touchdown no interceptions after mahomes hat was ten for eleven or seventy six yards and a touchdown but what do you think Matt Moore going forward you really think defensive have to look out for him I know that you you know kind of touch base on that here a few minutes ago but do we really are do you think we're okay putting the game and Matt Moore's Hands Look we did win thirty two six and he put we'll put up what like twenty one of those points yes and not more think is gonna be a new kind of touched on this a little bit in the past and that Moore is GonNa be a great game game manager for us he's going to be an average quarterback but with the weapons that we have surrounded our quarterback positions with the those weapons are going to make Matt Moore you're all that more dangerous because he's GonNa be able to throw a seven yard crossing route to Hartman and who could potentially go and take another twenty yards and Hartman proved that look Hartman had a great game shown me more and more each week you know he had a touchdown and he also you know return that punt sixty Art got us in a position to to score again and really seal this game this was a fun game to watch outside of of well you know what happened with Mahomes mahomes he still had a passing touchdown so I mean he got in action at took tyreek Awhile to get going but he's still will lead the team in receiving yards you know he only had three receptions for.

"But as I've said, many many times, you know, it's not about one guy. You know, it's about the team. And we're going to do what's best for the team. Doug Peterson coach of the eagles end-of-season press conference on Tuesday. Carson Wentz is the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles going forward. If they had a discussion about falls versus wants it didn't last very long. But Chris it feels like they're trying to find a way to keep Nick foles as well. Even though fall should be able to play this thing into either a trip to the open market or the franchise tag of about twenty five million dollars. And I think that he should I don't think that he should play this game and say, yeah, I'll gladly take whatever you give me for the privilege of being the backup quarterback to Carson Wentz. It's time for me to go out get paid take care of my family's best interest. Not the eagles best interests and put myself in a position where I can go try and be a starter again somewhere else knocking to argue with you there. I mean, I agree. I mean, that's what Nick foles should do. There's going to be a market for him. And I think the eagles are crazy if they wanted to try to keep them anyways. I mean, that's it's going to be an issue, especially for the way, it looked at the end of the year again with the optics. Of them keeping the game closer against New Orleans, and they went on a run and all of that, you know, a lot of fans, and I think people are just going to look at the one thing that's different and go. Oh, well, Nick foles was then they must be a better team with Nick foles, and that could be divisive within the fan base in your locker room. All that, you know. And again, I'm going to point out in for you know, I've done this a lot. But Carson Wentz is clearly the better player. And I know you've heard me say like, yes, the eagles play better with Nick foles. But I mean that that's not a Carson Wentz. Nick foles problem. That's a Philadelphia Eagles coaching problem where they changed certain things in their formula. But at the end of the day, let me just say this to the best eagles team I ever saw. And the last two years was the one with Carson Wentz when he was the MVP of football, and they were unstoppable going out to LA against the Rams and all the weeks prior to that he was the MVP of the sport last year. And I still think should a got it. Even though he missed the last two. Games of the year. He was that important to that football team. So I think you know, the ceiling is much higher with Carson Wentz. And I think this year like you've heard me say before the coaches got caught in the trap of his physical abilities. And they add some other issues where they became pass happy and tried to take advantage of his skills too much. Instead of just taking advantage of what the skills are of their offense. And how their team was Bill. Well, and you know, the reality is that the rehab from the tornado Seattle was a factor in twenty eighteen that's something that Doug Peterson addressed yesterday. Limited Carson Wentz. His reps in the off season program. Limited his reps in training camp. It made it harder to get that timing back that you had in two thousand seventeen and they're banking on number one whence getting back to where he was and number two want staying healthy. And that's always a leap of faith. When you're talking about a guy who plays with a physical style who has had injuries that have kept him from contributing in December and January for two straight years. Now as relates to falls again, they would like to keep. Him Howie Roseman the executive VP of football operations of the guy with keeping the salary cap. In order. He addressed yesterday the desire to keep falls around. Here's what he had to say. We would love to keep Nick foles. I mean, you talk about a guy who we've we drafted year and we've grown incredibly close with. I mean, I don't know team that wouldn't want to have Nick foles on their roster. So as we go into the substance of those discussions, we haven't had them yet. But there's no question we love having it falls as an eagle in Philadelphia. And we'd love to keep them. When Howie Roseman says, Chris that there isn't a team that wouldn't want Nick foles on the roster. Basically he's saying we're going to try to find a way to get value for this guy. We're going to try to find a way to trade him. We're not just letting this guy walk away to whoever wants to sign him. Yeah. We are going to come up with a strategy, and it may entail. Ultimately using the franchise tag and running the risk that he signs it. And he's on the books for twenty five million, and they can't trade him. But that may be how this all plays out. And if that's how it plays out. I think Nick foles to make it clear to everyone. Look, I'm not signing a long term contract. I'm going year to year. I'm taking a stand for myself here. I'm done being treated like property, I deserve to be treated better than that. And I think you can do that without being a jerk falls knees. Ryan his agent to try to engineer this process in a way that gives him maximum options and doesn't make him a pawn in a broader game of chess between the eagles and whoever they trade him to. Yeah. Well, certainly I mean, so and explain like can you explain to me his contract situation. A little bit as far as like the player option. I mean, I know they have a buy out, but it has to be mutual my understand that correctly. Yeah. Yeah. I mean the way this ping pong matches expected to go. The eagles can apply a twenty million dollar option to him for the coming year by out of for two million. And then they could use the franchise tag, which will be about twenty five million to keep them in place. And the thinking is they use the franchise tag, and then trade him out from under the franchise tag. But he's got leverage there. He can't be traded until he signs the franchise tag for starters, and he can sign the franchise tag. And he can say I refuse to sign a long term contract. I don't want to sign a long term contract. I want to serve out this year. Make my twenty five million. And then I'll be a free agent next year unless you want to give me thirty million next year by rule twenty percent raise over what I made in two thousand nineteen and that's the way that you play the game a little more aggressively. So you can get to the open market because the money's on the open market, Chris. I don't know what Nick foles gets on the open market. But but I and I'm trying to be as nice as I. It can be. Yeah. Which is hard for me to do at time. If cousins who can't win a key game regular season or postseason if Kirk cousins is worth twenty eight million a year on a three-year fully guaranteed. What's Nick foles worth? There's only one way to find out. You put them on the open market not transition tag. Not franchise tag. Not traded. You put on the open market eleven go day one to the highest bidder. That's how you find out. What he's worth. Yes. Certainly. I mean, I I expect the eagles to exhaust all avenues. And do what's best for the organization and do try to find a way to trade him and get something out of that? Nick foles does has shown that he deserves to be a starter. And there's going to be absurdly some job opportunities out there. But you know, I don't know if I'm willing to throw, you know, of course, Kirk cousins money out there quite yet again. But we just one way to find out. I know I point there's one way to find out the open market, and he needs to set it up. So he gets to the open Mark. Yes. He does he needs to get to the open market and both of these the organization and Nick foles have been very mature. Let's say the last two years with the way they've handled this whole situation. The Nick foles, I mean, it doesn't look like there's really a nicer man in the NFL then him really as far as his ability to be respectful. The Carson Wentz and what he's done and be respectful the eagles organization and the way he stepped out of the way after the first two weeks. But you know, again, we've only seen Nick foles starter for a full season once in our career early in his whole career, and yes, it was a awesome year that he had in Philadelphia early on. But we've also seen him go to the Rams and not be very good there. And we've seen them go to the chiefs and not be very good there. And he started this season off not being very good there. I mean the first game of the year he was nine thousand nine hundred thirty four for one hundred seventeen yards and an interception and they won the football game. And then the second week of the year they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And he got off to a bad start. And they were way behind early in the stats. Look good. But it was a lot of like late game stats from there on out. So there are. Questions about Nick foles. But nonetheless, I do think he's justified that he deserves to be a starting quarterback somewhere in the NFL for some team at some point this year. And I think they're gonna find some way to respectfully get this done. I'm going to run seven teams by you. And I want you identify one or two that intrigue you the most. And you'd think would be a good fit. Right. Are you ready to take notes you're gonna remember? I got the teams right here. I'm looking at them. Go giants Broncos Jaguars Bengals dolphins raiders and Washington. Well, I look at like the bangles right off the bat because I do think it's time to move on from Andy Dalton I mean, I think that's over with. So I would just say right away there. There's a chance there. Okay. I look like a team like the dolphins and Brian Florez who comes from a place like New England where they believe in big pocket passing quarterbacks who can handle the northeast elements when it becomes November and December. I think those are the first two teams that jump out to. To me. I don't see Denver making that move quite yet. Trying to say what was the other teams? You said there did I get them all down. But I think those are the two that jumped out to me the most nonetheless, the didn't take nuts. Got them. All right here. Yeah. Well, I don't think you're going to rattle them off. So the Jaguars the giants. Have them Jaguars. Yes. Like, I like Peter King. And I drafted the best landing spots yesterday. I I went with the Broncos before the Jaguars. And in hindsight, I regretted that. Because I think the Jaguars make more sense. Yeah. The Jaguars does make a lot of sense, and again, Tom Coughlin along those same thoughts that I just talked about with New England, and Brian Florez, you know, he played he coached under a Bill Parcells when Bill Belichick was there with the New York Giants. And and I having worked in New England know that you know, size attributes for the quarterback, they don't even really want scout certain quarterbacks if they don't meet the meet the height weight speed hand size measurements like for New England. That's a no go. And I think that's the same type of thing for Tom Coughlin. And I could see that happening. I mean again, Jacksonville it all fell off this year. And we know that and there was a number of issues and injuries and all that. But I don't think there's any doubt that they're going to be in the quarterback market one way or another. And I do think Nick foles could kind of fit what they wanna do down there. All right. Let's take a quick break. Warmer return the Miami Dolphins in the process of hiring a coach their former head coach landed immediately in the same division where we get some thoughts on the incoming coach Bryan Florez the outgoing coach Adam gays plus more with our Mondo south Garo of the Miami Herald who will join us here on PF live right after this..

"I mean, I really I love I love the saints is an organization. I love equals innovation. I kinda wanted them both to win. It's not possible. It's funny because you know, if Al sham Jeffrey catches that ball. I mean who knows what happens, you know, the next pass could could go through receivers hands and be picked off for you know, who maybe they don't score. But we'd have to think if he catches that. And they score that how how can you not pay Nick foles because that that was the big lingering question over this game. And it kind of felt like he said his goodbyes in Doug Peterson in his post-game comments said his goodbyes. It was just the the tone completely changed. I mean, I'm in the saints. The saints were aside from you know, the the first quarter were were pretty incredible in its you the hard to defend Michael Thomas, but you know, the eagles the eagles fell. Like, they had this magic thing going, and it was it was pretty shocking to see it. And the way it did. So it's because of the way it ended it does kind of feel like foles is going to exit even though I'm not managing money there. I I wouldn't let him walk out the door. Will this is the importance of narrative? Right. Stephan that outcome that we just described has nothing to do with falls. And yet, I think Melissa is. Right. I think there's a difference in how they would treat him or see him. If they had won this game rather than lost of in the wellness. Oh, sure. Because I don't think that sentiment always plays that big a role in the decisions that front offices have to make you know, Nick foles is three years older than Carson Wentz. Carson wentz. It's not like Carson Wentz as a bad quarterback. The opposite. Carson Wentz is potentially a another ten year quarterback for this team at an all pro level. He's already demonstrated that he's that good. Yes. He got hurt. Yes. He torn ACL. Yes, he recovered from that acu L tear. So they have to make the best decision. The eagles could make is to keep both of them because hey, that's kind of worked out pretty well. Over the last three years for this team to have to high-calibre quarterbacks one is an insurance policy or as both as insurance policies for each other has made sense contractually, though, they can't afford that and contractually Nick foles if the eagles choose after Jews one or the other Nick foles is the one that pretty much has to go because of the way their contracts are structured now in who's available to leave and who isn't. Yeah. I tend to agree. But at the same time, it's you know to to have a quarterback that is proven it in the play offs is a we saw Philip rivers. Isn't that quarterback? Andrew luck. Isn't that quarterback? Nick foles is that quarterback in it. I would be very very very nervous having him walk out the front door. But again, I don't I don't manage money. So but the saints more than they had a drive the run for longer than eleven minutes Devon and that went one hundred seventeen yards just because of all the penalties. Converted a third and sixty and Michael Thomas converted a second and twenty two Michael Thomas. This was the game where the other three games this weekend..

"Brass again, they're not going forward when they faked upon on their own thirty that Dr kept the saints in the game. But if you want the drive that won the game, look, no further than that epic eleven minute. Twenty nine seconds drive that gave New Orleans. It's first lead of the game. That's a statement. That's a dagger. You can call that drive. A lot of things. Just don't call it an eighteen play ninety two yard drive because thanks to penalties. It was actually a twenty to play one hundred seventeen yard drive, man. It was tough. Not pretty it was tough. The saints had a TD called back on a penalty breeze missed hill for a potential TD pass. But they eventually found the end zone when breeze hit Michael Thomas. So did left tackle Theron. Armstead celebrate that TD quote, hell, no I had to find the oxygen. Quote, pretty much everybody in that building had to even then even after a backbreaking drive that gave New Orleans a seventeen to fourteen lead killed off nearly a quarter. It should have killed off the eagles. But he didn't. And you knew it wouldn't because Nick foles any add the eagles driving. Again, this time. He had the eagles inside the New Orleans thirty late in the fourth quarter down by six if you've seen Nick foles in the playoffs. You know, how this ends with him finding a receiver and finding the end zone and snatching victory away from defeat. This is what this guy does role that. Two minute warning in the pocket throwing. Marshon lattimore. With his second interception of the game returns it to the thirty four. Better than any time this season saints take a photograph. Wait, what.

"And took us from our own eight yard line. To get a touchdown. I was just told you we actually gained one hundred seventeen yards on that. Dr. I'm not sure if that's a record. Because of the penalties. It kept us back. And so yeah. We went on one hundred seventeen play drive for a hundred and seventeen yard drive third quarter to take lead. And then really didn't look back. A hundred seventeen yards again there were a couple of holding flags. Offensive holding one even that wiped out a TD, the taste them. Hell throw it was wiped out by an offensive holding penalty. And I saw a couple of former offensive lineman who are now on Twitter that I follow say that is the worst feeling in the world when your penalty flag wipes out a long touchdown. And it was a perfect throw by hill. So they end up taking one step forward two steps back a couple of times. But still we're talking about eleven and a half minutes. And so even though in the fourth quarter. They only had a couple of field goal drives. They had one made field goal one missed field goals, and they put themselves in position a couple of times. They did leave the door open with three minutes to go Nick foles and the eagles get the ball back and right away. They get a pair of first downs and they are just outside the red zone. And again don't lie to me. I know you were thinking the same thing that I was thinking which was OMG. It's going to happen. A. By formation. Two minute warning in the pocket throwing. Marshon lattimore. It to the thirty four. Better than any time this season saints. Take photographs breeze will be under center Camaro, the tailback. He gets the hand off. Oh, man. Hey. Two hundred sixty nine yards one touchdown. He has been terrific in this one but the run game Sony Michelle one hundred seventeen yards three touchdowns in his first career playoff game, Julian element one zero seven in the air and additional touchdown. By Rex Burkhead and Philip said patriots just far too much for the chargers to overcome as you said, they did just get one back. So it's, you know, a hair closer, but still we're talking about a twenty four point game here in the patriots would just about sixteen minutes to go in this game and eighth conference championship game eighth straight is well on the way that'll be in Kansas City a week from today. Patriots again, thirty eight fourteen one sixteen to go third quarter here in Foxborough wealth. "College football on News Radio seven hundred w Cincinnati. Bill resent ski David Dorian Fitzsimmons. And the crew glad you're with us Texas will start at their six the fifth meeting between these two schools to previous times they met in bowl ballgames. How about the nineteen forty eight season. Forty-nine orange ball Texas beat number eight Georgia forty one twenty eight. There was a guy rushed seventeen times for one hundred seventeen yards to lead Texas his name. Tom landry. Yes. Tom landry. I out and ten they're trying to run here. No. Where to go. Great penetration by Ledbetter at a loss on the play back to the four yard line. Let's go down in very guy just delivered. A firm message before this discussion guys to defense saying now or never. Mouth up make the plane. He did right to the quarterback. I there's gonna run a straight up the middle to the ten to eleven yard line right up, the gut. Two rushing touchdowns in the first half July makes the stop the true freshman from maryetta Georgia. Call alligators number there that was run call all the way, and it wasn't a quarterback draw high. So leading up inside third down five only there's gonna throw a little strength to Humphry makes the catch and buried holds onto the football. Joon Taylor pounded the wide receiver but credit oil Jordan for making the catch. I down at the seventeen. I gotta play the wideout position. Sometimes for a lot of courage. Leeann here white out into a hard spot. If you're a quarterback, you gotta try to avoid that not get your wideouts injured, but nice job because Humphrey new linebacker was sitting inside. He was gonna take a wallop pushed out in ten gonna swing it out. The right flag juggling catch. This is Ingraham across the twenty two about the twenty three yard line. Theon say Ingram. Is able to keep the focus the ball bobbled. But the catching-up up field of the twenty three I was dangerous because of the potential backward pass going with temple again Ingram again up the middle. Nice little hall. He's got a I doubt and more. The far-right has devante wide brings them down. That's the first down to the thirty one yard line up of eight yards. Tom Herman told us he said, hey, we need to run the football at least adequately tomorrow night revisited with them yesterday. And they're running the ball better than adequately tonight any positive games. They're picking up first downs. Good runs on first down. That's all gravy for the longhorns. Trae walks in running backdrop light big hole, right side. Watching the thirty five to the thirty six yard line. At another strong gain. They got the look at these plays seven yards six six eight. And then a nice run there about six or seven yards. Second and four of six to thirty seven Texas moving right to left inside five and a half minutes to go. Third quarter daily Georgia twenty two seven. Each side. Sam alligator the Austin data back to throw swingset on the low fat. This is Watson watching trying to fight through some tackles. And just runs out real estate and don't be shy of the first down three yards there to the forty and it's gonna be third and one attack decisive. Those quick swing passes. They get Calvin Anderson the big left tackle outside. Andrew back dates back blocking. Ellen girl. Direct snap cornered right up the middle. In georgia. Wasn't ready forum and the quarterbacks got another. I down following way forward to the forty nine yard line or other died and another Texas first downs time, they pull the left guard. Patrick, hey, leading the way up inside the just inside the right tackle and etlinger has stung this defects with the speak tonight. Four-man rush throws down the near left sideline on. It's incomplete. Do Vernay was there. Tyson Campbell on the coverage. Do Rene turn been a little. I don't know. I don't know just kind of out of whack because he was turned for the football. Couldn't hold on. I didn't keep this dry d faced up to the football. And if he runs through it a little bit more he beats Tyson Campbell the true freshman LSU had a field day going after Tyson Campbell. In fact, he lost his job after that poor game down at Baton Rouge. But he gets to start tonight with the all America beyond Ray Baker saving himself for the draft. Second in ten taxes at the forty nine that'll pass out to England far-right flat. Trying to pick up some blocks fighting through traffic. These are the Georgia territory and tackled at the forty seven yard line. They trust Patrick for senior from Atlanta pitch credit for the stop. And now third-down coming up, Texas. About six or seven to go for a first down. Big down for door because they get off the field. To score game. What Texas converting year getting within field goal range for Dicker? Field goal kicking uses legs again here. Third down six back to throw. Nobody opening scrambling farside right now looks downfield for do Vernay. And the ball is who is intercepted. Yes. There are flags in the backfield. JR read out far do grenade for the football. And if this is a hold against taxes, it's going to be Georgia ball at their own ten. There's a beautiful interception. If it holds up JR read coming over the top helping us to safety. Seven penalty. Now, georgia. Coming into this game Bill only five interceptions on the season. Two of those were in the opener to in the last regular season game at one of the big twelve championship game. But trying to take a late shot. He gets cleaned up on the backside. As he lets the ball go. And I don't think this is going to be ruled an interception. They need to ring down on this Bill. This is not a clean interception by read. And I think that is just what's going to happen here. That's going to be the case. Ruling on the field. The previous play is under further. Great effort to defenders at the top of the route ball slightly under thrown because now let's take some heat from the backside. But. This is not going to be a turnover. This. All right. So they will have an option there because that was a third downplay. We're etlinger through the football, and they had the holding call so this which Texas way back so there's four minutes to go. This review begins four to go. Third quarter, Texas twenty and Georgia three Bill resist Davis. Sorry. We mentioned earlier about the Texas bowl. We did a year ago and just Tom Herman wanting to figure out look I need worn quarterback. Who's the guy going to be it's been Sam etlinger? And it's been a good decision. Let's go downstairs and check it with. Talk to you Tom Herman head coach will horns about that Mary Dame yesterday. And I asked him that was the biggest thing about getting back to a big boy bowl game. He told me continuity, especially on the alternative side of the ball. This is the first time in five years when Texas as you turn the same offense of systems, and then he said senior leadership it truly body knowing the long journey. We took a big step closer to to where we want to be as a program, and that is competing for national championship. But any win circle back. Again, we got done talking off Mike to offensive continuity in David every play the position of quarterback. When again, the first time in five years that you have the same system. Let's go to the offensive line wide receivers and everybody. But as far as quarterback goes man that it's amazing to think about when he comes to Texas, and when it comes to continuity to big reason why the longhorns searching for their first ten win season. It's nine everyone into that. Ballgame we covered it down to Houston last year against Missouri. And boots. Shell is guided at a talented arm a guy that a lot of programs like the habit quarterback and etlinger. You no longer wasn't clearly starter going into that ballgame last year he had a poor ending to the Texas Tech game last game of the regular season through a bad interception that swung that game. Late in the fourth quarter. But he's made such great strides in the off season. I think he sharpened up his his arm town, and maybe most importantly much better decision making. Five interceptions on the season. And that's what they a fourteen game schedule, including including a couple of games against Oklahoma. After the ball hit the gal. It's an incomplete pass. This is Joe. We'll still be declined. Worth down. And this could be an advantage for Georgia there to get the ball on the ten yard line. Now, Texas has to part, and then there's a possibility here the BULLDOGS will improve on the field position. So barring any sort of fake or penalty on Georgia chance to get the ball. Relatively good field position as opposed to that interception. Holding up and just to finish on etlinger. He's a guy that I think is is a quarterback. It's gonna play for four years at Texas. He's not the type of guy that's gonna leave after his junior year. And I think that's a big plus for the longhorns as well. And you mentioned Bush shell and talk to the Texas people. He's a junior he's hanging around who. So they say he likes Austin likes, Texas. Here's the punt from right to left in is a fair catch by Godwin who doesn't like us. Down on sixth street. They say that Allender from time to time or go down to hang out with teammates on sixth street and listen to little music. Well, that's in case Jonah, Nancy Medani haven't been partying all night. Then the town really starts rocking. By the way, the punt traveled thirty six yards. So the interception would have given the ball to ten instead. The punt. And they're at the eleven to give John and Nancy at four A M curfew last night. They were bringing in the new year in a big way. Dogs trail here. Twenty two seven three fifty three to go. Third quarter from pumps left. Now goes left down Bill. Gotta receiver. They're incomplete. Holloman the intended receiver and VJ foster was there defensively it'll be second down and ten Georgia at their own eleven yard. These are the plays at Georgia was making in their last ballgame. The biggest game of the year a game that they lead by two touchdowns late in the third quarter gets Alabama SEC title game perfectly thrown ball. Typically, you get much stronger hands from Holloman the wideout should have made the catch perfect ball from Franck FRANZ only three of his last ten passes. This will not be a pass. It'll be a run swift right up the gut that he picks up about four to the fifteen right over the top of the center will not kill yard third down and six are actually the fourteen yard line three there. Third down in seven Georgia. At their own fourteen yard line. They move left to ride with three twenty five the clock ticking third quarter, they trailed taxes twenty two seven. Got to receivers nearside writer slot that side one receiver farside left. Tight. End comes in motion. Now goes down field is from steps up into the pocket. The rock running left not going to get the first down. Tackled at the nineteen yard line. Gary Jackson, brought him down gain of five Georgia will have to punt the football away clock. It sped up a bit. If your quarterback and he got the ball back around your own eighteen yard line. You're trying to be a little bit more protective in terms of a turnover. So now from. Probably sat in the pocket another half count to a full count decided to exit the pocket and Texas State at home. Camara will blunt Thome left dry it away from his ten. Nice kick this time Humphry fair catch for Texas backpedaling. And makes it a thirty yard line was fifty one yard. Komo longhorns. If you're just joining us, Texas is pretty much controlled this football game. Leading twenty two seven. Take a look at the scoring plays here. Etlinger opening drive was a was a big ten play seventy five yard scored on two yard run. But after a while. Almost a muff. Punt wasn't a buck pump with the Potter dropped the ball took a knee. They haven't been getting a field goal on that. After a short field. Let ten nothing lead seventeen nothing before Georgia scored back to throw etlinger on first down. Nobody opened dancing around in the pocket is gonna run up feel is pretty evasive. And does not get back to the line of scrimmage line of scrimmage was the thirty tackled at the twenty nine a loss of. Was struggling to find a good look down the field. Receivers recovered up. Didn't get all the eligible out. He had his tailback Ingram just sitting out near the left side line as he bought time and kind of worked his way back towards the line of scrimmage and tight quarters. I thought he might just flip it outside the Ingram for positive game. Touchdown runs in this game for Texas. Second and eleven twenty nine Watson stretch play farside, right? Turns the corner and walks into the forty pounds along the far sideline Eric Stokes? Finally, angled him out of bounds. But he got up to the forty three that's thirteen yards and a Texas I down, and they got this guy. From Cal grad transfer is a big win for Tom Herman. He's not an explosive guides had take the top off the defense on big runs..

On Warriors ride and Raiders road

"You're listening to the spoken edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. On warriors, ride and raiders road. All the news that fits the bottom of the birdcage by Scott, Osler what the warriors must do. Now is twisted the narrative, so. What the warriors must do. Now is twisted the narrative, so the so called turmoil and discord is all in the minds of critics in haters and the attackers only strengthened the warriors team bond. Draymond green is the perfect man to lead this counterattack. This has been bothering me and admittedly. I'm not strong on payroll economics. The raiders have three first round draft picks. First rounders, get hefty contracts won't signing three first rounders forced the raiders to scrimp on the rest of their roster. The Mavericks are a lottery team, but I fear any team that has shooting coach who can raise the Andre Jordan's free-throw percentage from fifty eight last season two eighty two. Now that weird update in my column speculating that DeMarcus cousins might be a better fit for the warriors. And Kevin Durant. If it's one or the other I should have noted that even if Durant leaves it's doubtful. The warriors could resign cousins. He would have to accept a. Token, raise to six point four million dollars at least ten million under his projected market value. But the fun talking point remains the thirties must alert the ravens that a quarterback who runs will not work in today's NFL rookie quarterback. Lamar Jackson ran twenty seven times for one hundred seventeen yards Sunday in the ravens win Jackson. Didn't take a knee during the anthem. So he likely will remain employed.
