Caller Is Ready to Vote for President Trump in 2024
"And so excited, close those borders. This is a man who loves the United States of America. He loves this country so much. Hey, put up with all this black to run in the first place. And he's getting doing it again. I admire him tremendously to get the borders closed for many reasons are teenagers die when they get one dose of fentanyl. There's no second chance for them. Yeah, Dina, you're right about that. And those borders, it's just a drug tunnel, it's insane the amount of drugs coming across the border and Biden's done absolutely nothing about that. And get us back to work somehow, you have to scrutinize those that are on the door because there's so many that are there that it's not this fake. And I don't know how you do that, but we need workers everywhere. I was out of store. And down in Canada and the man had to be flown in from Arizona to work there because they had absolutely no one to work in their store. So you're saying Trump has your vote. You believe Trump is the guy that can fix everything that's broken. Yes, yes, because he loves the country. That's the bottom line. He wants the best for us. And get China out. I mean, whatever. And he has a heart for the unborn, because they're very much alive in his book.

But what we're trying to say to parents is it's urgent before a crime grows before Delta continues to stress this even worse in the winter months. Get your kid vaccinated. And here's an incentive to do it. A lot of parents, of course, want to take their kids out to wonderful things that will be happening in a holiday season. Here's a reminder, get your child vaccinated. Just one dose will immediately qualify any child to be able to participate in those activities. But look, I'm a parent, and I remember vividly when my kids were going to school, you don't end up in a situation where a child is left unprotected. I urge parents really strongly. Get that vaccination. It's safe. It's been proven. Here's another incentive to do it. So it's one dose for children but two now for adults. Is that right for the program? Fauci: J&J Vaccine 'Should Have Been a Two-Dose Vaccine'

That's what people are afraid of. That's why you're worried about the vaccine because this is all new. It's clear as can be. Listen to what Fauci said. Now he's about as clear as mud on a good day, but here's foushee explaining why the FDA adviser believes that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine should have been two doses. Doctor Fauci, the FDA advisory panel unanimously recommended booster doses for the J&J vaccine. But the advice is for all people over 18 to get the shot even after just two months. We know this vaccine was not as effective as others. So should those 15 million people who got the vaccine be concerned given these recommendations? No, not at all. I think that they should feel good about it because what the advisers to the FDA felt is that given the data that they saw very likely this should have been a two dose vaccine to begin with. So the idea of wreck of making a recommendation that people who originally received J&J should receive a second dose 18 or older with none of the restrictions about whether or not you're at a high risk or not at a high risk, is that everyone who received that first dose of J&J were 18 and old that should receive it. So I think that's a very good thing. And I think it's very favorable for those who have received the J&J vaccine. I don't see that as a problem at

I think of w n Y C is a fine place to break important news for the people of this city. Uh, so for our young people in schools 12 years old and up. We're adding additional requirement here for the extra curricular activities that are considered high risk. We've already done this for high risk. Sports And this is consistent with CDC in state guidance. For young people who are involved in extracurricular activities such as chorus musical theater dance. Abandoned marching band cheerleading. We're going to have a vaccination mandate for them, so any young person who want to participate in those activities will have to be vaccinated to be able to do so. So, So this is the performing arts, Mandate Chorus, musical theater, dance team and dance in general abandoned orchestra with all those woodwinds that was me in high school. This would have applied to me for playing the flute cheerleading Step team's flag team, So this is really a performing arts requirement. It is particularly look, we're talking about performing arts where folks are close together. Close contact. Lots of exhaling. Obviously, as you said, with the woodwinds, lots of Heavy exertion with some of these dance, cheerleading, etcetera. Um, this is according to CDC and state guidance where we need to focus and I agree fully. We want to protect our young people. We want them to enjoy these activities. I mean, I can tell you You know my kids. The things they got involved in was a really important part of their school experience. I want young people to enjoy these activities by Juan do it safely. So for every child 12 and up Go get vaccinated. Good news right now, Brian, we're at 66.28%. So basically two thirds of all kids in the city, not just public school kids, all kids. Mandating Vaccines Shouldn't Be a Restaurant Worker's Job
"So a lot of places across the us have faced pushback. Just for requiring masks indoors but a full on vaccine mandate feels even more controversial. Why are these these taking the step. So city leaders and experts are hoping that requiring proof of vaccination to enter restaurants gyms an indoor places will just encourage people to get vaccinated and ultimately stopped the spread of cove in nineteen other countries that have instituted similar requirements for showing vaccination indoors have seen vaccination rates. Go up this happened. In france this happened in italy and even though there was pushed back to these policies a lot of people just found it more convenient to actually get the shot and which city was the first to make this move to impose these requirements. New york city was the first city in the us to make an announcement that they were going to do. Something like this is a miraculous place for literally full of wonders. And if you're vaccinated all that's going to open up to you you'll have the key you can open the door but if you're unvaccinated unfortunately you will not be able to participate many things. That's the point. We're trying to get across so now in new york you basically need to show you've gotten at least one shot to go to an indoor establishment so at the gym and entertainment venue. It's gonna take a while for people in the city to get used to this. So the policy went into effect on august seventeenth. But there's sort of this weird grace period so the enforcement of the policies not gonna start until the middle of september. But you know it's not just new york now. New orleans has vaccine passport program in san francisco put in place a vaccine passport system that started on august twentieth new orleans enforcement for their system actually began last week. It's also worth noting that not all of the. Us cities that are doing this have the same exact requirements. So san francisco is requiring proof of vaccination meaning that you actually have to show evidence that you got both shots. If you're getting a two dose vaccine while new orleans you just need to show that you got one dose or or negative cova test in order to actually get into one of these than us and you know. We should expect more of these requirements. Potentially pop up los angeles is considering adding a mandate as well on these could also change especially as you know kids become eligible to get vaccinated as well right now. These don't apply for people who can actually get the vaccine.

"Vaccines and stuff at the two o'clock media briefing for the county Health Department. And she said to date since the vaccines were first delivered. We have something roughly a little over 960,000. Doses have been delivered. L a county of that little over 500,000 have been administered for the first dose and 144,000 for the second dose. So that's 645,000 something like that out of 960. So they've got 300,000 roughly 300,000 doses yet have yet to be. Dispersed and, interestingly on the city Council called today one of the things that That I don't know if it's gonna complicate matters or not, because you know, the state sets the guidelines and it trickles down because one council member finally flat out asked who's in charge? Yeah, we have no idea who's in charge of this because we're getting information from the state. One minute we get information from you the next minute we hear something different on the news, who's in charge and often the messages or contradict other all contradictory? And she said, Well, she said, it all starts at the federal level and then goes to the state level. Then the state decides what the counties are going to get. And is it okay? How does that happen? How does that work? So now? What happened is every council member obviously is fighting for their own turf, And they all they're all basically lobbying for the rules to change to favor their district's And that's I don't know if that's going to further complicate things, and they want you mean well, like, for instance, who's eligible? Yeah, to make because though, I think was daily own brought it up Council member daily on that genius where he said the Pledge of Allegiance today. No, but he talked about the fact he says, You know, I understand first responders and medical workers and those over 65 75 years old. But what about the single mom? So is going to work in a restaurant. Maybe a McDonald's and has three or four Children at home and in a large family at home is forced to go work in that environment and be out in work or they lose their home. Shouldn't that person out actually have the same sort of level of urgency as the person 75 older. And so you've got a lot of them, you know, because she's not at the risk of dying, but we have to start with the death risk. First Death overwhelms anybody else's sob story in his in his point, woz that he understood that, but his point was, if she doesn't work, the family suffers, and then he gets to be a big mess. And you know they lose their home. So you know everybody's got a story and you know, she chose to have four kids. Well, I don't know why. Why you make a lot of bad life choices, and then you get to go to the front of the line ahead of people actually, more likely to die. I don't you know that, but that's the kind of stuff that was going on in the meeting that they're all they had her ear for a little bit about. Going into town like a coin to where they have it unbelievable rate of spread. Have had. Why haven't they said mobile units? That's what fire is doing that right now, because what I'm hearing is a lot of the residents, Immigrant residents don't trust the government are not gonna voluntarily show up and stand in line. They just don't believe some part of this whole process. They don't believe that the vaccine is safe. They don't believe that the virus is actually that bad. Whatever it is, they don't trust the government. So how are they going to get in there? And what did they have a program for that? So l a city fire has been working on that and chief Terrazas was also on the call today with for where to talk about that. They got mobile vaccination programs now where they've got their paramedics and they're going along with the corps volunteers and they're going into those hot spot communities and they're going to be doing mobile vaccination sites, and it's supposed to be up and running in the next couple weeks. But that again that takes coordination, training and then identifying and it's just some logistical challenges. How about improve phone service? Because a lot of elderly people can't handle the app? That is a big problem is well, and a lot of people are confused about the second appointment because some people are getting automatically notified about the second appointment. Others aren't getting notified. Others aren't getting information. And that was the other issue They were bringing up today. And Ferrer said that they are working on it on and they're getting up.
