"Where. They boil that woman. That's where I'm at right now. Little. Yeah. So but I did also watch episode six, the Boys Oh keep getting better and better. You could but it's just like these crazy just twist. that. Show is so good. I think you'd like it. and. If you don't like it I mean there's one I if I tell you about this one scene, the guy with the huge penis. I didn't see that. That's just the crazy thing about the show. It's they things you would never expect never expect, but it was laugh out loud galerias. Funny. and. It was really well done. How many episodes are there six hundred? Foreign on on that show and it is really disturbing. But also Hilarie I look forward to I'm so you know it's actually I'm okay with just getting one week because it is a lot. When you see one episode, you're like, what did I just to watch? So it's kind of. Like way for the other one, sister told me to watch in Nola Watson and that's number one on the flex right now. Yeah. That's a movie though not a series. Oh, it's a movie. Yeah I believe. So Oh I don't know I started watching sneaker heads juicy stiegler heads. Watching that Number ten. Watching it over the weekend. It's okay. It's okay. It doesn't me hooked just yet. Anyway. So speaking of TV, we get into TV because we want to get into the TV that messed you up right 'cause ratchet missed you. Oh Yeah. Oh, yeah. I want to hear about the sleepless next really kept me up. Okay. We're going to get into that next John Jane Rich. Taxed. We don't care text Jj and message tonight six, eight, nine three or so the number one show. NETFLIX's right. Now it's ratchet nurse Ratchet. It's a scary bloody grizzly show. It's a dark show by the same people who do American horror story. And it's messed up rich right it's messed you up. You know in fact, the last show to mess me up was season one of American horror story. So it's the same people they must know how to get me and I don't want to give away too much of the plot but I'd say there was one of the nights we'd have to get up super super early. So I watched about three or four of the episodes. Back to back. So you get sucked into this entire world that they have this assane saint asylum. That's a former SPA in the nineteen forties or late nineteen forties, and there's something that just when I think maybe nurse Ratchet might have some conscious tour. She takes somebody who's totally innocent. All they did is witness a murder and she makes him incapacitated for the rest of their life in the gross way possible and I couldn't sleep. I know it's fake I know I know talking about when she with? That part guy that got me way so far the show has it messed me up. Yeah. Messed me up with that show I an I mean I in in what messed me up is rich told me about it I. So I knew it was coming in I was terrified that it was coming and then when I saw, it was terrifying to to me this little things that messed me up and this is the part when Sharon stone goes to feed her son and he's got no arms and legs. I'm right I and I was like. He's got norm two legs. He's in bed and he's screaming that he wants dessert I that stir the hell out of me. Late Parts hearing you guys say that makes me watch it around noon and I'll watch it for fifteen twenty minutes. I don't like scary movies and what sucks is I told you guys about the show I did. That's what sucks. I like like I think about shows or things that I've seen that have messed me up and I I go straight to the most recent one which was golden state killer that documentary the. Finishing. Yes. That women and stuff that gets me like I. This is the first serial killer show that I haven't been able to finish not because it wasn't fascinating because it was. So terrifying will the other show SPF is on the other side of that is the movie just watch the octopus teacher. Up in a in a different way. It's I got emotionally attached. If you guys take an hour and a half out of your day and watch this movie, the octopus teacher it's GonNa give you a different perspective on how we are all in this together I, want I sound like an airline. Are, like we are when you go swimming in the ocean like you're part of it. It's it's it's an amazing. It's an amazing movie about the world and animals and how we are all one. It's beautiful. It's beautiful at the end of it. I was a mess. But when you talk about shows, mess you up though there's one movie, the One TV show, it's the killing season one, the season, two of the killing. On Flex. Then, it's this guy in the car talking to his counselor. He's a homeless kid he's talking to his counselor. and. Having this conversation about south and he's like I'm doing great and he's okay great. The counselor says to the kid getting the back seen take off your pants and he goes I'm not gay and he goes neither mine. and. Then cut to the next scene and it just so disturbing your mind where your mind goes there. Those are the ones that are the most disturbing things at all because your mind has to go someplace, they lead you down a path and it's like that is so dark. So dark. So we want to hear from you about TV shows or movies that messed you up. Eight, seven, seven, nine, three, seven, one, four, seven, the scene I just talked about the killing has nothing to do with the show at all. That's what. has nothing to do with old show..

"If you want to go somewhere, but discovering that for me that which I wanted was at my own house, and it's cheap like this room is so cheap. This room I it got flooded there. A Super David flooded, and the insurance guy comes in the rest of the house is built like a normal house, but he looks at it, and he says it was. It was pretty bad. Pretty dramatic flooding saved all the books and stuff, but seventeen thousand dollars I rebuilt my entire. HABITAT! A bunker. But I'm just saying I think somebody out there is thinking once day once. I make a million bucks then I'll be somebody once I have two locations on my business. Then o once they keep doing that. And then I see it all the time with my clients because I help them grow their business, I. Don't help them grow their life at all I. Don't do it. Dave does album gather business, but then they go, hey. BORED OUT OF. My mind. I'm traveling all the time eating out every night I'm my kids are going to private school? When we're busy, we got the kids. We're going to every soccer game. We're going. You know what I mean. They're super scheduled and they tell me I want to get off this ride. Do you see that a lot where guys are making financial abundance and they still feel empty. Does that happen? Absolutely happens all the time and yeah, and they're. Looking for something that really satisfies her heart. That really doesn't happen less first of all. You've figured out who you are. And I see a lot of men, and I didn't learn this until my mid-forties of it. They. They're just reacting to the demands of their environment. Whether it's at work and their society of their extended family, they're just always reacting and guess what when you're always reacting. Guess what you're not doing. You're not lead. okay so You don't lead you. Lead best out of who you are. When. I get a chance to coach the most phenomenal people. And I think one of the few one of the reasons they come to me is because I? F embraced who I am. Agree pretty ordinary. But I've embraced that and I'm an helps me. Be Real your client list again. It's a private thing. It's something. Don't share I'm just telling you to people that referred you. Just mini super successful people and keep people. This is how they described, and by the way I would describe you as Tulsa, Fabio but minute by minute. Tulsa say he's kind of like Yoda. House he like he just he asks me questions as opposed to stating things. He sort of keeps me captivated. I I like him. It's kind of motivational, but at the same time learning. It's. Accountability and I'm going I. Don't get it so I wanted to have you on the show because I wanted to see, we can tap into some of that a little bit Josh. You had a question for for day. Because this is I mean there's so many people that again look today as a mentor. We got them right here in the studio. This is good stuff and. And what what question would you have for Dave? So Dave heard you mention two or three times now in the interview that getting minted to define themselves getting to know themselves so far listeners out there, and and not able to get with you or meet with you. What's an actionable thing? They can do to to begin to define themselves or get to know themselves. With the first one we really start at with is called mccullum drivers. What are the abilities that actually energize your heart? Not, just build ability are good at doing. But. What makes your heart? PUMP! And then I think that's what gets guys off track is they're trying to do so many different things when when when in reality, most of these guys have about. Ten or so abilities that really energize their heart true and they don't do those things. When they actually start doing those things these start to weed out some of the things that are marginal. Oh Yeah, and Oh, call, we call these things, Greens. Yellows and Reds Green Buildings Energize your heart. Yellow abilities are neutral. You can be very good at yellow ability, but they're neutral. And then you got rid abilities that drain. You actually can start to drain you before you start using them. And guys, guys get so sucked into using their yellows and green yellows rose in reds, most time and really starts to affect how they feel about things. They start having all these negative emotions. It starts to factor marriage parenting yup their relationships. They kind of go into hiding. Pretending posing I have two examples. I've seen of this and I'll try to speak vague there west so I don't give a trouble, so I don't thirty one hundred under the bus, but they're good examples. One guy know very well. It's good at basketball like very good like pro level. And we were talking one day, and he says you know I hate basketball. I'm going what. Did you think of him. You think basketball he's. Just good at it, but I've always hated it. I don't like the culture in the locker room. I'm more artistic kind of guy. I, don't I don't like the bravado I don't like who I have to pretend to be because I have to Kinda like. Get intimidated, so I have to intimidate. I! Don't even like the applause. Don't like the travel. Like what do you like doing? We make a list of stuff. He likes numerous. Totally opposite of what he's doing noses at the pro level true story. So what? What do you WANNA do man? It's like the shortest coaching client of all time is crazy. I just want to stop and get a job and see my wife because we travel you play pro ball. You're gone all. Anna overseas that kind of thing and craziest, but you would have thought it was his green. You would think this is what you do because he makes green doing it Andy perceive you, see them you see them making big Dunks, and you see him score, and you'd think he loves it, but it's all show and walking away from the show was where he really found his thing i. just that was one, and then another one was a buddy of mine who always wanted to be a pro musician. You know and make big bucks, top forty guy and a work of as part of a top forty organization. And that's what he did. He got a job on the traveling top forty music circus. Essentially travelling around big stadiums travel around the world, and we did a call to talk to him. Now mckeon, join it. Know what? Helicopters private jets going out to dinner. Pretty Girls. The whole thing I'm not into it. What I WANNA do is just like lead, praise and worship at a local church and get a job. Like are you kidding me? No serious I like basketball I love playing. Basketball like church. League and I haven't done that Mike five years and I'm almost forty now. I gotta get out of here. And so I just kind of conversations I wanted to ask you I know West has got more questions for you. Do you see a lot of guys who forever because they're good at something? They've misconstrued something that actually sucks the soul out of them as a green. Just because they're good at it, quote unquote. Have you seen this all the time all the time? All the time? In one of the things we hear, a lot of guys are gone through this process is. I'm finally free to be who I am. Finally free to be who I am. Hand Awarding to see that and these are guys who are high achievers. The what happens is the longer they spend time doing those.

First Kennedy's friends described him as having a great sense of humor and love of motorcycles. Also wake boarding surf boarding dirt bikes and the Russian and eventually the detective on Kenny's murder case uncovered what they believed to be the motive in the slaying. Apparently problems between Kenyan Sam stemmed from MHM conflicts with Sam Stepfather so this stepfather was Alexis uncle. That already talked about. WHO's Sam's girlfriend said to a detective quote unquote was not a good person? Semi's not a good person as I've said yes thievery. All around and another friend told police. That Kenny argued with Morris because of his unsavory business practices. The apparently Morris would take money from clients to purchase supplies but then he would never actually by the supplies. And so you're just kind of wondering here is Kenny. Just is Kenny. Getting in trouble for this stuff can't find anywhere is what the actual problem was wondering. Why was SAM? Why was Kenny? Morris fighting why was SAM kicking taking Kenyan. His car in what what the problem is. And unfortunately this didn't go to trial so I was hoping it would so that I could find find out more about what happened. Yeah 'cause remember. This just happened a year ago. I know a lot of the details are very elusive. They are and I. It blows my mind and my mom and I were talking about this. And she's just. My mom is just a very morally as far as like the laws concerned. Sound like. It's the worst I think for a family. I mean God. His mom in my mom hate each other now so they were already on the outs when this happened but even when this happened happen even though she hates his mom. Now it's she's like I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy having your child do something. So awful is something that affects affects you for generation affects your family four generations. And when you think about you you WanNa know about what the motive is yes. There were shady practices is whether he found out about it. But you know I go back to one of the the beginning of this episode when he opens the door like what does he think is going going to be in there. Why do you open the door to that? Shipping Container Storage container knowing. There is a dead body in there but then again he had no reaction to it. So it's like what's going on in his mind at that time as well so. I wonder why I offered Jerry oranges odd inches which is very by the way. That's great art. I have an orange drink right now. But that's a that's a very Godfather if anybody watched the Godfather the godfather and oranges whenever an orange appears a murderer is going to happen. What is the symbolism behind that? Apparently I've heard it might be that in in Sicily. There's this thing called blood oranges when you open up the arms open. I think you'll get from trader. Joe's thank you thank you Alexis. Yes and then when you open it up is actually blood inside it. So that that's a little scary. Yes but yes when you when you you watch that. There are watch the Godfather again which I think they actually play. It might be playing right now on on like don't doesn't like USA or something like that do Godfather Marathon press story on TNT. Very Christmas story. Godfather it's kind of the same. It's tomato tomato. It's it's apples and oranges. That's not the same thing for everybody out there. Though who's struggling with her family this Christmas. I just thought it was interesting for us to do this. Because this is part of a little bit embarrassed when a family member does something like you. This obviously happened over a year ago. We've kind of been talking about it it to maybe do an episode. And you've been a little bit hesitant for obvious reasons so I think it's an interesting time to do it because it's everybody thinks her family's DOPP right and everybody's families are up but we'll my family especially so here's why but minds worse than yours. Here's why so the reason why we haven't done it and I don't think I told you guys this we. I talked to my mom about it. She's like your GRANDPA Canto about this. So he died this year and he was very much the Patriarch Darker family and this is the grandfather the people have stolen from and but he doesn't know people stole from him would like everyone protected him from or not and his step kids. He's still cared about because he didn't know because we didn't do that to him even though we were angry. We didn't want to tell him because we didn't want to break his heart before died so we just kept him in the dark about that and when my mom told me about this she was like. You can't tell anybody else in the family families who don't want your Grandpa to find out before he dies. He's ninety two. He loves SAM. We don't WanNa hurt him. And I was moved by that because it's like everybody so angry at him even prior to this but we wanted to spare my grandfather that hurt like right before death So that's really why. And then he's he's died so now everybody's a lot more relaxed about it because information is less likely unlikely not likely to get back to him. You never know so you never know he could be watching right now and if so. Sorry sorry grams. That's the truth. It's it's so sad because Kenny was twenty any three. His facebook is still active. He was so sporty and like he loved surfing and dirt bike gang pictures of. It's just he's so young so young and it's like his ex girlfriend said in that news clip. He was moving to Hawaii because he really wanted to like get away from his family and make something of himself to make his family proud but he encountered my cousin who stole his life. And it's really shameful especially when you read about him doing meth. I'm like who is this guy by this guy was also an elementary school teacher. That is that is horrible. I know I know and he was a teacher. I remember back He. I remember on Christmas. One year. Him telling me he was teaching in Manhattan the Bronx an inner city school. And I remember just being really elite dazzled by it I was like Oh you're like Michelle Pfeiffer and that movie teaching like the tough kids and what is that movie which Michelle Pfeiffer. I am talking about the gates of Paradise so you know what I mean. Who Remembers that movie but not related to them by blood but I thought he was my cousin my whole life sure and he took a twenty three year olds life because he did some method before? It's just awful and it is bad Karma for a family because says even though nothing has happened I think about it all the time and it doesn't affect me like Oh woe is me I mean I do we. We do this podcast because we want to share victims stories and do the right thing and to just even know somebody personally only closely. Who did something like this? It's just gross so while Sam initially pleaded not guilty he recently changed his mind and took a plea of no contest to manslaughter. Water and must serve twenty years in while the terms of a plea agreement like this seem really cut and dry. It's really not because under some bizarro circumstances circumstances SAM is already out. Thank you very much Chelsea. Alu- man convicted of killing his tenant during a fight last year is already out of prison. Samuel Samuel Copy formula pleaded no contest the stabbing death of twenty-three Kenneth Rod slap under a plea deal body was found inside a storage container at camp before meals. Property Operti is defense. Attorney argued that there was no eyewitness or any physical evidence that directly tied him to the killing judge for our Goto. Could've sentence cap before meal to twenty years last week but instead gave him ten years probation and released him. Prosecutors did not object can be formal had been in jail for fourteen months. There's fifteen thousand murders every year in America when you sitting down at your holiday dinner. There's there's going to be Peace Now. Murderer is going to be murderers. That and by the way there's two hundred twenty thousand unsolved murders since one thousand nine hundred eighty. There's going to be potentially murderers at the table. That haven't been caught but not to freak anybody out as you as you have your holiday dinner. But it's true they're not. It's not all one family. Emily doing this. Yeah that is an eerie thing that most serial killers like not most. I'm GONNA say many had families who had no idea so you had you had a you know a lot of the killers that might have lived with their parents or something like that which they didn't know either. But then you had these serial killers that and that sort of played into the stereotype like a Joel Rifkin of like. He's a loser lives in his mom's basement..

"Had did he end up on in Hawaii. I guess so. He ended up in Hawaii because what he was he was doing. All this work New York without permits so he would do all this work legally and then the person who paid him to do it would be fucked because the state would make them tear it down and he was like he would disappear gear and then he would so that's what he would do and then he never paid taxes either Sui basically got chased out of New York and had to go to Hawaii and he may be back in New Zealand now. I'm not sure where he is after. Shelley has stayed in one place for that long exactly because the New York permits by the way if anybody's not in New York one of the most stringent in the country. If if you build something without a permit and then you try to either. I mean. Sometimes they'll actually do fly overs over your house put in a pool or something but if you try to sell your house else and you have a deck in there and you don't have a permit for that deck that X. Coming Down Oh yeah we'll make you rip it down. It's really strict about it. So they he was doing this on people. We news homes. That's so bad bad. He's a bad guy. So Kenny was working for him for some context right so the last thing talked about was how Sam basically opened his door and kicked him. Yeah and maybe it's not that surprising given all the stuff right. Yeah and that's because Sam's uh-huh criminal record included arrests and misdemeanor charges for violating protection order abuse of a family or household member and in two thousand seventeen. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor demeanor assault right and as I was sort of digging into Sam just out of curiosity I found an article from the New York Post from two thousand four that I had no India about that says quote. Sam Can't be formula of Manhattan was arrested for alleged D. Why on Monday? After witness saw red Mercedes veer off old Montauk highway into the Bush. The man leave the car and had east on foot can't be formula was later found at the New York State Parks Maintenance Facility at either hall hither hills in Montauk where he was found with slurred speech. Bloodshot and Glassy is unsteady on his feet. So I called my mom. Just ask her sort of about what she remembers members and she's like he's always been bad like key got into a fight he his brother named cliff. WHO's another cousin of mine they were like fighting with people with baseball? Bats cliff got his face all broken with a bat. Like they've always been in their these Yuppie kids like they're not uh-huh gangsters so he's always been like this. Yes Oh throughout the duration of the initial investigation Sam denied killing. Doing Kenny and his story changed a bunch of Times Sam. I said that he'd seen Kenny alive. And well the night prior then. He said he'd seen him doing work that morning. Sam told the police. Also that Kenny was depressed angry because he hated Hawaii and his girlfriend had a recently broke up with him. God Sam Denied Hearing Any commotion and denied what his Neighbor was saying. The police didn't believe him and and he was arrested and taken in and held at five hundred thousand dollars bail. He was indicted for second degree murder and he pleaded not guilty and Sam couldn't make his bails remained and in jail as the investigation as the investigation continued an autopsy was performed on Kenny. And it revealed that he'd been stopped in the chest. Multiple Times and one and stab wounds punctured his heart and left long. which was the fatal blow? He also had numerous defensive wounds on his hands. When the police dug into Kenny's background they learned that he had moved to Hawaii from California and he was from Morgan Hill? California went to live oak school and then Santa Barbara City College. In following Kinney's murder. His Ex girlfriend was actually interviewed by local news station. So here's what she said it's unclear. How long branch left was living on the property but family says he moved to Honolulu? Luke from California. Three years ago to work for his uncle's construction company. You wanted to move on their new better.

"So as you know. Today is our holiday. Episode in the holidays are reminiscent of many things. Things gift-giving greeting cards decorations consumer spending and most importantly family family can be a great source of stress and anxiety for people over the holidays because as we all know no family is perfect. And that's especially true. In this case the date is October twenty eighth two thousand eighteen a a little over a year ago. The song girls like you by Maroon five was topping the charts and the movie star born was Generating Oscar buzz in theaters and the setting into today's case is a far cry from what we typically associate with the holiday season in terms of weather. At least it's a Llahu. Why were during? Hawaii's daytime average high temperatures typically range in the mid to low eighties and who is referred to as the gathering place is the the third biggest island of the Hawaiian islands and it was eighty six degrees on Sunday afternoon. When the local police were called to an Awas who residents when they got out of their cars Karzai approached upon the property came up on a chilling scene in the midst of a scenario that seemed to still be unfolding? They're met by a man named Jerry was the one who called nine one one in becan them. They're jerry explain to them what had happened. He said that the property where they stood belonged to his neighbor. Sam Camp you for me now now and Jerry was renting spot on property because he needed somewhere to fix his boat so he doing just that on this day he was working on a boat when he heard a lot of commotion. Coming from inside a large metal shipping container that was situated next to his boat and his boat is propped up off the ground so he could see two pairs of legs walking behind his boat and towards the door of the Shipping Container Jerry proceeds to work on his boat. Not really thinking about anything about ten minutes later. He Hears Horrible Sounds Commotion Coming From Inside the Shipping Container. Then he heard a blood curdling scream. Then silence jury them. Hurry to the container container and a cross pass with Sam who is in the midst of closing and locking the shipping container and Sam denied hearing any noises and offer Jerry some oranges Jerry Stops Sam and demanded that he opened the container door and Sam refused at first but then he finally obliged lodged so he opens the door and inside was the body of a young man slumped over a pool of blood. And after Sam Open with the container and the to open the door Sam showed no reaction or emotion at all then he just walked away towards the back of the House House. Something has gone wrong and he tried to. But instead the witness in the Murder saw something he could not believe. And that's when he called the police victims body was found inside a shipping container. The witness Geri Soriano tells us a new before he saw something terrible had happened. Soriano tells me he had been renting out space on the property to store his past working on a Thursday when he heard a lot of commotion inside a Shipping Container Retina collided at some violence ability. On the. It is actually going on you. I'm not so fast. The realize new custody for the death of his tenant and tonight we have no reaction from a witness who was at the crime scene in winward. Awful Chelsea Davis is here now with tales jealous sources. Tell me the victim had defensive wounds on on his hands we've also learned each has gotten a warrant to search the poverty on a whole `nother road in goal so the person you just heard speaking on the news jerry name so the cops enter this property. They enter the shipping container in what they find twenty three year olds. Kenneth routes laugh and he's dead inside inside and it turns out that Kenny as his friends called him was attendant of Sam's in lived on the property so Sam had multiple units honest large sprawling property where he would rent out either for AIRBNB or for long term tenants inside the container the observed that is shirt and shorts were soaked in blood and there was blood splattered all over the interior interior of the shipping container as well and police scoured the property for evidence and took salmon to his house to question him outside. The searching officers discovered a chicken in coop and they looked underneath it and found a bloody knife. Presumably the one that he used to kill Kenny. They found other evidence outside to including garbage bag. That jury jury said that Sam had been wearing as a Poncho so sam is wearing a Poncho like plastic Poncho as Hawaii a while. It just seems to me like he didn't want to get as close. Yeah it's not raining dope sure. Potentially shows premeditation sham. The also found a pair of blood stained cargo shorts hanging nearby. So let's dig into SAM now. Sam was the owner of this two acre agricultural lot but he wasn't originally from from Hawaii. He was from Long Island New York. Which is where I'm from and it's where Alexis is from? In fact our first degree today is is Alexis because Sam is Alexis. His cousin right dark is done done done. Well I'll tell you guys a little bit about my family. So Sam is my mother has five. stepsiblings SAM's a step step cousin. But I when I was growing up didn't know the difference. I had no idea that he was step cousin. I had no idea that they were step. AUNTS AND UNCLES I. I just didn't get that so I basically grew up with Sam. Where are you close to him? So Sam is a bit older. I think he's forty two now so so he's older but the House that I grew up in belonged to my grandfather and was like a big house on Long Island and it was sort of everybody. Congregated there so I've been seeing being Sam my whole life right and he was the first person I ever smoked weed with when I was. I'm so much younger than him. And I just remember thinking he was the coolest. I most advanced handsome smooth nice and I remember I had this baby sitter named heather stunning. Probably the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and she was dating Sam are being like Oh. My God Sam's got this gorgeous. Oh cool yeah I just thought he was the coolest and you know. You always want to impress roller cousins than have them. Think you're cool so it's definitely a situation like that and the I thought he was great and we obviously don't really know much about this case whatsoever or anything really layabout Sam from knowing him in your childhood. Is there anything that was off about him or that you could pinpoint a weird situation Jewish happening. No but I'll say is. There is a great deal of contention between my mom and her her full siblings things in a step siblings. And there's a lot of nefarious activity on that side of the family in the last ten years or so the ought to huge falling pulling out they've stolen for my grandfather who was like ailing they basically took control of a bunch of his assets. That didn't belong to them. So a lot of them are very bad people and this I could go on for days but I don't want to provoke anybody on that side of the family but it's a a lot of bad shit so in this happened. I mean I was totally in the dark about this my entire life. I think this is so interesting for Christmas because like obviously I'm I'm not from perfect. Handling and a lot of people have a lot of stresses time of year talking about this because a lot of people's families are broken with the time. All of this was going on the forty-one-year-old forty-one-year-old Sam was dating a twenty six year old woman. The police questioned her and she said sometimes Sam did recreational meth casual meth casual math. And when he did he didn't act himself and he could be threatening to almost anyone. That's one of the things meth does to you. As far as occupation he was listed as a special education teacher at a local elementary school. Any also sold real estate but it turned out that he hadn't been actively teaching for nearly two years so what could have led up to this violence. Violence eruption between Salmon. Kenny police learn from interviewing those close to both of them. That Kenny and Sam had arguments in the past. A friend of Kenny's even recalled that months prior in August that can he was trying to leave in his car when Sam apparently opened the car door and kicked him which is Superintendent Sibling. The Kenny was renting one of the units on his property. And Kenny also worked for construction company owned by Sam Stepfather so Alexis. Did you know Sam Stepfather. Yes so he was my uncle then. I didn't know he was my step uncle. He was just my Alchol and his name was Morris. Call Him Uncle Morris he was from New Zealand and I was obsessed with him. Because I'd never met anyone from New Zealand didn't I just. He was always around because he was a contractor and he did construction and I lived in a big old house. We would always be over fixing stuff. I do remember who wants to. He kept a boat on our property and my cousin and I were playing on we play on it and my cousin broke something or whatever her and I remember he would go. He went into like a he incredible rage about it. And that's like one of my most vivid memories about him where he was just so angry and we were kids. You keep the boat at my house we play on. We were like playing pirates or something and I remember that's all I remember about him now. Just being scared of how angry he was about that so he was from New Zealand. He he had gone to Long Island. He was on Long Island acting as a contractor.

"Christians talk about liberty in terms that are different then we is usually meant when we're in our political discourse you know when we talk about liberty on the program typically we're talking about the the condition in which you are free to proceed without the force of others tying you down to one degree or another either keeping you from being able to act in the way that you would like in pursuit of your own values or forcing you to act in a way that you would rather not through some sort of mandate but Christianity has he did a different sense of the word when when they talk about liberty in the in the scriptural sense and that's the idea of being able to proceed freed from the burden of grievance the burden of sin weighing you down and when I talk about this concept of grace and the power that it has in our lives and our relationships it really is a liberating power when you exhibit grace when you let things go then it amazingly your life is easier like it's in your interest to let it go it's in your interest you're not doing it for the other person for it for their sake per se you're doing it for your sake so that you can move on with your life without that baggage without that weight holding you down dragging behind you keeping you from moving forward in a productive direction and this is this is what we have to offer as we as we move forward in these conversations about things like white supremacy in social justice and racial disparities in all of these various political manifestations of grievance of your regs of needing to Hey somebody back for an injustice that took place years ago in a completely different context than the one that we live in now our answer to that should be free yourself free yourself from that burden stop caring that.

"We were crushed the water by the boat as she thinks she came down on top of us and a big metal crush, my raft underwater flooded us with also there was one degree below freezing. So. I think some of the mentors. Basically there and then just the cold water. And how much water did you have in was that your wastewater how how high was it while you were sitting there? Oh, that's my waist. So your feet. You couldn't feel your feet you. And you were losing power of your legs. Not quite quickly, and you could still. Swim. Around the rest. It was. Still possible to move and cold feeling out of the water the eight from you is like lead coordinator told let you make the point and mass book is very carefully constructed with a deal of science and survival that water conveys he twenty-five percent faster than air. So it's sucking the heat out of his body and sucking the heat out of all those men together very quickly, and you couldn't now they're this all this takes place in about an hour and the whole drama here is about two and a half hours. So we're we're talking about a lifetime in a moment. But they are now at see drifting with out adequate equipment, and let's check off what you don't have. You don't have Baylor's. You don't have. Well, let go through it. You don't have a flare. Nobody brought any. We had nothing. We had. We were missing the device was so Baylor's pedals. A radio would have been handy radio beacons leaper players on eating a light on the run. I think I'll have been damaged in abandoned ship, but we have nothing we didn't even survival suits..

"Everyone is familiar with the philosophy of six degrees the seperation we have found that a lot of times people are just one degree away from the great missed greatness and as many times it's that simple one degree adjustment that can make all the difference in the issues that we find that a lot of people are companies they don't see immediate results and unfortunately the tend to quit way too early so we help those people identify very specific needed adjustments so people don't give up on themselves or their goals why don't we now in by we mean me entrepreneurs in general fire nation about accountability your area vesper teeth that we should just and a couple of sentences chris like what something that we should know that we probably don't you know what's interesting but i found that most people initially when it comes to accountability need to put things down on paper and you need to really identify what it is that you're going to hold yourself accountable whether you're on a team whether you're part of a company or could be something simple as being part of your family is until you really look in the mirror and use i'm going to be accountable to myself and then identify and put on paper the two three or four different areas a lot of times people don't realize that china dooley's so simple but we feel that most people completely overlooked at an as i said before it you're not suffolk county bull there's no way you're going to be accountable and successful to somebody else or to accomplish organization chris i wanna kinda go back in your journey right now like i wanna talk about a time the eu struggled animal not just any struggled by will you consider your worst archery ill moment your biggest struggle to defeat in that business round so don't pulling punches tickets to that moment tell us that story.
