Michael O'Fallon: Expect Changes in Travel, Because Travel Is Freedom

"Joining us now is Michael O'Fallon. From sovereign nations, Michael, welcome back to the program. Thank you for making time on short notice. So Michael. Pleasure. You told me a couple of weeks so you said Charlie, expect changes in travel because travel means freedom. We are now supporting major issues. I don't know if it's intentional or a cyberattack or what it is, but it does, it does play into your warning, your premonition that they're going to be massive disruptions in travel. Why would the world's elites care about travel? Well, freedom of movement, just like everything. You know, let's think about some of the things that are happening around us right now. When we talk about the fact that the state of New York and as well other systems are going after gas ovens, right? The whole idea is that with a gas oven, not with all of them, but with a good portion of them is that you can start a gas sub in yourself. If you have gas, you can cook, you can cook your own food. There's no centralized authority that can tell you we're going to switch off your electricity, which is where they want to move everybody across the nation. It's the same thing that's happening. Let's say in Europe in terms of food with the production of food and so forth. If you eliminate the ability for people to grow their own food, for farmers to be able to then distribute that food. If the state takes over that food and then has control, then you funnel everybody into a one decision side of things to where they have to rely upon the government to be able to give them permission or not give them permission to be able to eat or enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Trish Analyses What's Changed Since 2016

"Go back to 2015 and 2016. So what was unique about Donald Trump in 2015, 2016. He was the anti politician, right? And there's something very, very appealing about the guy who's just going to say anything, especially when you're up against the woman who was so controlled and so contrived. I'm talking about Hillary Clinton and so frankly despised by so many Americans. She was not well liked. She didn't have that sense of humor that he seemed to display, and so he won. Now, one strategist once told me, and I thought this was very interesting. In some ways, 2016 was more about a vote against Hillary than it was for Trump. I think there's an element to that, of course, but simultaneously, I do think that people, they felt like he could do something different and they were desperate for different. We've been going down the same path and we've had the bushes and we've had that clintons and people wanted something new. And here was this businessman who had done some pretty exciting things in the business space and heck was a household name on the apprentice show, a very popular show and they thought, hey, why not roll the dice on something different? But a lot has happened since then, I still stand by what I said all along. It was a mistake to shut the economy down. That was the first red flag, if you would, in what was about to go wrong because at that point, the Trump administration effectively was just giving in if you would, too, those that really wanted to take control of things. And we became a complete failure as an economy. I think we did a lot of extra damage along the way, including to our children who spent many, many months over year right without getting in some cases proper schooling. So there was a lot of damage inflicted by that one decision. Look, I'm neutral on this. You know that. I'd like to see conservatives win, but I'm neutral on who would be the person, but I'm doubtful that we can get back to where we were in that 2015, 2016 kind of scenario where you saw this groundswell and you saw this momentum for so many people even crossing party lines,

Exposing New Mar-a-Lago Raid BOMBSHELLS With John Solomon

"And I had to bring on because apparently we're right here in the office, John Solomon of just the news. We've got him here right in the studio. I think people realize that John, how far are we from your office right now? A couple feet? About ten feet, baby, ten, 20 feet over. You had an amazing story last night, huge scoop, which I know you were up here late working on. I mean, I left here late. You were still, you know, I think you actually had a candle lit, right? I did, yeah. So tell us about this, so I want to get into your story, your huge scoop, you've been making the rounds on it about this, it's basically the email chain. You've got the receipts on the back and forth between Trump, Mar-a-Lago, the FBI, The White House counsel, the national archives of a have everyone in there. This idea that they're not invoking the Biden administration not invoking executive privilege for the first time ever. But then also I want to ask you from the angle of the FBI and the fact that they're doing this. Yeah. Well, listen, it's clear to me now when you look at this and I've talked a lot of career FBI officials. People were diagnosed and hey, they tried to jump the fence on this. The normal process would be drop a grand jury subpoena on president Trump. He decides if he's going to comply if he can test for executive COVID. You go to court. You let the judge work it out. The FBI decided they wanted to jump the fence on this. What they wanted to do was they wanted to get ahead of this and take the privilege off the table by having the current president Joe Biden wave the privilege for the former president, even though it covers conversations that when Trump was in president. So they jumped the fence, they tried to cut corners on this. What you see at this is that the ignition point of this investigation. This investigation is ignited in April of this year. The Justice Department, The White House for Joe Biden and the national archives are all working together with the FBI. And the first decision Joe Biden makes its consequential is, I'm going to let the national archives send the materials of my predecessor. Donald Trump to the FBI to start a criminal investigation. That's the first thing he does. Then the Justice Department and FBI come back and say, listen, we got this problem. President Trump's probably going to claim executive privilege over these documents. We need you to wave it in President Biden tells us counsel. I wave it if the national archives fails it's okay to send it over. They can wave the privilege on my behalf and send it over and that's what happens.

Who Will This 'New and Improved' IRS Target?

"In the meantime, back to this IRS thing. I mean, I'm just kind of offended. I sound like I'm like, you know, one of the woke ones right now, 'cause I'm offended, everything. But I'm offended when they think that the answer is to somehow just go after every Tom dick and Harry and Jane and Susan and Sally. And this is who will be affected. It will be your middle class. As much as they're going to try and tell you, oh, it's the 1%, no, no, no. Just in terms of, if you have that many IRS agents, who are they going to go after, and they can't, as I keep saying, they can't go after. The people that they should go after were just the billionaires, they get away with the great deal on the tax front because we've got lawmakers that are so concerned about making sure they have enough money for their next campaign. I told you yesterday about all the money. I mean, Kirsten sinema is one example. She's got donations individual donations from the private equity industry totaling over 500,000 for her last campaign. I mean, that is a lot of money, right? And I'm just looking at the numbers 54,900 from executives over at KKR, 35,000 at Carlisle, 27,300 over at Apollo. The private equity industry is a very big lobbying organization. In fact, they probably spend more money than any other industry right now. They're on K street and one of the reasons they're doing this is to give themselves the beneficial treatment when it comes to taxes. Do you know the Chuck Schumer? Collected 1.28 million from the private equity industry, including Blackstone and KKR, so you really think that he's that interested in raising taxes on this particular group of people. Go back and listen to Monday's podcast. If you want to explain or they're on why this is income and why it should be treated as income and why this is just highway robbery, frankly, of the American people and of our government, but these people in Washington I'll tell you the whole system is so darn corrupt. When you see what just went down. And when you see that they're going to effectively inflate, again, the U.S. economy artificially by spending all this money while simultaneously adding another 80 billion to go after everyday folks from the IRS all all while saying we're going to give a pass to those private equity investors. I mean, give me a break. It's not investment. It's income and they need to be taxed as such. Anyway, it's really pretty disgusting. But the whole thing is just disgusting. I mean, the idea that they want to pass this off, the name itself as somehow an inflation reduction act. Guys, you're just spending more money. All right, before I get to that, I do have one more thing I want to mention to you. You know, it's summer and we're all looking for movies and I don't know about you, but it's kind of hard sometimes. Kind of hard to find a good movie that you can enjoy watching that is representative of your values. I think that our values have gotten kind of lost and pop culture these days. And it's one of the reasons why I think it's important for all of us to think about what we're watching and who we're supporting when we watch it, right? Are you really into Disney right now with all their bogus? Or do you want to try and seek out some alternative sources of entertainment? This is where this movie in particular comes in. When I was a kid, I used to watch Cameron on that, what was that show? Oh, you know what? I got to look it up right now as I'm talking to you. This is how you know I'm recording in real time. He had that sitcom, when I was a kid, what was it? So anyone who can answer that in the questions below, extra super duper points, go to you. I'm going to come back to that in a second because it's going to drive me crazy. I remember that sitcom really, really well. Anyway, he's got a new movie out a new movie that he's backing. He's a very big Christian. He's an growing pains. Growing pains. That was the sitcom. I remember that now. Anyway, he's got a new movie that is just out. It's pretty neat. It's got a good message, and I think it's worth taking a look at as you're looking for things to watch and be entertained by. So this is called life Mark. And in this movie life Mark, it tells the story of David who has this very comfortable world that gets totally turned upside down when his birth mother, unexpectedly reaches out to him, and she's looking to meet him. He's 18 years old at that point. She only had the chance to hold him once, and she went looking for him and he finds this out. So it's really, it's an interesting storyline and probably one that happens a lot. He gets encouragement from his adopted parents, and so he embarks on this life altering journey, which really is a process of discovery and it leads to a pretty staggering truth from his past, inspired by a true story life mark is a powerful reminder that one decision, one choice can impact so much more than one life. It's a pro family pro love pro forgiveness pro reconciliation and pro new beginnings kind of movie.

"one decision" Discussed on GSMC Basketball Podcast

"Where we end up is based on our decisions and so often one decision that we make our life can truly dictate the row in the path that our life in career goes on so though the cliche but is it is emphatically the truth. The one decision can have a huge impact on your life. As watching the documentary on netflix called untold mouse at the palace. And it it documented and it went in depth ensue. The brawl that co occurred between the indiana pacers and the detroit pistons back in two thousand four in november two thousand four the during the two thousand four thousand five season and it went deep into the psyche of yvonne tests. Stephen jackson jimmy. Neil rich miller about what exactly was going on prior to and even during the incident and something stuck out to me that reggie miller said the in that was that he filled that team was primed and determine that was going to win a championship that year. And when you think about it that indiana team had just lost the year before an eastern conference finals to detroit and seven games as detroit. Went on to beat lakers and five games that files And you know three years. Our tears prior from prior from that Indiana lost to the lakers in the nba finals. So this was a team that was primed. Those window was beginning to close. However they had just made a trade for stephen jackson. Stephen jackson recently just wanna shame. Ship with the spurs back in three but they trade. It's for stephen jackson. Stephen jackson provided a scoring punch from the outside That that they were missing. Indiana was missing and so often teams have short windows to win jim shit because they're going up against teams that are quote unquote in their dynasty. Era residence the lakers on the spurs for a little bit on during those early two thousands. You'll find seeing that can squeeze championship in there. Like bike detroit. Did in like miami. Did back in six in five and six teams can squeeze squeeze ashamed of in between the shifting of dynasties in we don't in in reggie miller stated that i said prior today the incident mouth of the powers that indian teams prime to gwen champships thought in. Yes a merit to that. Indiana started out seven and two They had hires points per game scoring average in a in the highest rate defensive deficiency at that time grill ill early in the season. What could have been a clear. Indicator will come later on. I'll run our test was in his prime or certain it reaches prime at that germaine. O'neil was an all star. Reggie miller provided veteran leadership Tomorrow tinsley running the point steady point guard so they had the necessary pieces to make a deep run. But you know one decision that you know ron r. tests made and you can argue the started by him. Filing ben wallace in ashes basketball that was pushing shoving in dallas is all facade in quietest cap lock you. Don't talk about this but a lot of those guys on detroit. Pistons and indiana pacers seems especially during the incident. They're all france. they're all boys. Weren't trying to fight anybody. But one decision that ron made to go up in the stands. We wouldn't ensued after that shifted the entire perspective not just of his career. But also the the organization of indiana in the the mba landscape as a whole. Because now ron gibbs suspended for the rest of the year and he misses out on possibly to in shame ship does end up. Winning with lakers. Indiana never quite reaches that lola prominence even up until today in the shift in power powerhouse an mba is shipped over from From the miami received from indiana over to asensio. so it's how one split-second decision can have such a traffic impact on not just not just on you on the on the people around you. It's well instead. These are things that we have to be. Cognizant of iran are test states himself in documentary. That you know that one decision changes entire career and he like you. That indian team was stuck together in one moult which amy ships. We on occurred after that. He asked for trade from an indiana in key into the game traded and indians. He was never quite the same. Stephen jackson gaza spenders well quite a bit of games janina neil has been for twenty three games a terminal new guy. His suspension Appeal from mistaken still. Just how quickly one decision can change your so. We have to be cartons of these things. We move about in our day to day activities within about the for our actions because every action we have has a positive reaction is what we have to be. Cognizant be aware of that and what once were aware of the of those things we can start to make more healthy. Healthier decisions in more substantial decisions will start to move with purpose a more defined purposes. Well one said light on that one decision can truly just change your life it either extremely positive or detrimental effects to jet be carson of that. But that's all we have for today guys We have covered a lot in his. Just such a blessing once again to be on the show with you here today guys on his own everytime everytime it gets talked about basketball. I'm just elated fuller joy because it's such a blessing. And at the time marguerite like this thirty thousand dollars Risk it on the head name on it and a bunch of Lines so bad got robbed. Fm shoes got they pretty marbury down to nose. Briefs entourage dot rob to and that that this happened day before there's also play in the that story never made public never made. It's espn never made it to the news coverage news outlets. It's understandable because at that time the mba was fighting. Inmates cornucopia image problem where in media the media thought that the nba was perceived as just a bunch of quote unquote thugs or wannabe gangsters and so the nba was trying to fight that image out like the the the. The clothing tire of rule besuited up on the bench on this that image. That bad boy imagery thug image persona that they have so. That story never made it to the media on individual or organization in itself. So i want to give those couple of those stories because it's something you don't hear too often and it just goes to show how much truly goes on you know within these organizations with these players. That doesn't get talked about hope. You'll be surprised stuff too doesn't get talked about the things that happened. That goes on. I was fortunate and blessed to be able to play against international competition in highschool appointment plan against the international schools in the japanese schools in their playing style. prepared me for what i was going to be seen at the professional level obsolete. It's much more athleticism. In more developed skill set but the concepts tenants and playing style was still extremely similar and also talked about The combs huskies the best women players. Come out of that program in just impact. Those players in the program is self as head on women's college basketball and they're sustained. Dominance is amazing herself and also talked about this. A couple of stories from the phoenix suns. back four regarding to players More started meyer and stuff. A marbury reason. I told those stories is because as it highlights. Just how much really goes on in the nba behind the scenes under doesn't get talked about a lot of fans don't know in like i said they'll storage shed light on that and provides a different perspective different lens the view the nba. Whether it makes it more real are takes away from the game up to your interpretation but those are those stories. And i just thought they were interesting so i had to had to share them in the the individual individual Told me those stories. Holly connected in the Organization at that time was a party. "In brothers bringing in a lot of money through that but never got involved with the phoenix suns organization but his brother was on a phoenix suns payroll what capacity. I'm not totally sure. But it's interesting that you know stuff like that so many things that go along within organizations with players they get swept under the rug and doesn't get talked about by the media and you know that was interesting side of maury that. I didn't know. I wasn't aware that moore groped without a father that he wrote willing with his mother. I was not aware of that But another player that was on. That phoenix suns Rosser back in four was stefan. Marberry said the individual the sort of coastas close to this organization providing this information Stated that you know. Sophomore berry was not light by the by members of that phoenix organization home. He came across as demanding arrogant in your face. I guess it's a typical brooklyn individual. Yes me just kidding. But he's very forthright. Is you could say one story. Where stefo mayor berry and Entreprise arch traveling from new from. They'll tell their stay in new york. 'cause you're on the east coast road trip so they start out in orlando and moved up to washington and then they played new york so there are new york him his entourage of leaving the hotel they're stain and they're going to Restaurant this owned by diddy and so typically players get chauffeured or get right from the hotel to whatever restaurant or eating at but since as guys know is a brooklyn native. He decided that you know why. I'm just gonna walk poison in walk to the to the restaurants since it's just a couple blocks yet understand. Once you leave your environment. Europe been first of all very rarely ever go back. Because you've outgrown that part of you and if you do go back yet understand that there are still people in that area in the environment you grow up in. The aren't happy that you made it out. Aren't happy that you have accumulated success. Till they want to bring you back down to their level. Which is why. I'm not a proponent of going back to where you grew up in the city grew up in unless you're doing some sort of charity organization in that. You can do that. The third party but there so mulberries.

"Welcome back thank you for sticking with us we are now onto the third segment of our show with this Earlier you heard us talk about. What exactly prepared me for overseas basketball. How that preparation actually started at a young age in high school actually playing against international schools in international teams high school preparing me for that style of play that fits county type offense to the front. All that prepared me shape me into the professional basketball player. But i am today Then we talked about the the dominates the success. That is uconn women's basketball We talked about some amazing players to go through yukon from the my dense rasi superb brenda stewart finisher. Some cash every williams global nurse fees collier. Seventy tolson pre-hardly mariah jefferson. Morgan tuck all this talent. So much talent to go through yukon. We just gave the top five players uconn in. It doesn't matter who you put your top five. You're gonna leave someone off but that is a good problem to have. If you're a program like you tap that much dominance that that much talent go through program to represent your program. It's beautiful said mazing to think about. This segment will have story time and i just want to tell a story. Tell the story about Couple of phoenix suns players. Back from the early two thousands of back in two thousand four specifically now the person giving me these stories Wish to wishes to remain anonymous for valid reasons but this individual was in phoenix organization in some capacity during this time period but i just thought they're interesting stories. They give a little light give a little more information on the individuals that involve them the first story that owns talk about is evolving. Amar steinmeyer is no more stoudamire was drafted by the phoenix suns. Back in two thousand four right out of high school in an interesting story that have a little light on his back story you know or tells about his lifestyle growing up was is his on march pre-draft workout so amaury let me preface by saying that during pre draft workouts teams. Whatever you're working out for they'll give you a jersey shorts to work out in the end of the workout. You either keep it or give it back. I think it's really up to you at that point as the player trying out but they they brought more hanford for jeff workout in. They wouldn't give maury some practice. Shorts are in jersey to wear in morrison. No i'm not wearing it. Because i'm not i don't play for guys yet. I'm not part of the guys organizations. So i'm not gonna wear that and so instead of maury chose the workout in these long jordan shorts Some retro. I believe in sankt up. Because he didn't want the practice performed at phoenix. Avon in now only does do that. But he proceeds to have one of the best prejudged workouts that the of ever had up to that point in ed it goes to show the you wanna call lack of trust or independence that a more son myer head at that point is crazy mighty these eighteen seventeen eighteen years old at this point his lifetime. He felt no need to be associated with one particular organization. It hadn't draft him yet totally understand but it showed. He was solely focus on getting out of his previous lice. Downs winning and put in a better situation in concert in his also shows. That was focused focused on was on the workout. Not a practice foreign and so he perceives it. Just killing dominating the Workout you know the rest is in the registers from there. He gets drafted and has made in store career in.

"I do that. We'll do do starting five Do how On my list. I'm sorry from five work to one right so in at the five part i have a team charles now. Tina charles is an amazing talent want to a championship. That uconn. oh she played my more but she often gets overlooked because of the of talent that you had at the four spot. But i have tina charles at number five. I have a brown stewart. Fallen following that up at number four. She was on ground stores on the hundred eleven win team. Now i remember brown. A story came in with the same class as mariah jefferson. now never forget. I saw them play at boo williams and hampton in our like in middle school. I think in were seniors. In high school my my dad foresaw. He said this. And they're going to create the best women's team in uconn history and this point or knew about my morin sue bird that rousing those great teams. I have seen them play already. But he's he he he he he called he said it so i had brought a steward at number four in at number three. I have super a subaru argues. Greatest point guard to come out of yukon mariah jefferson bria hartley a great point guards but argued sue. Bird had the greatest career interest. Point guards at uconn She got there. Right when you're latino Rem i a head coach. But she was the catalyst she was the genesis of the dynasty at uconn and at number two i have i had dance. Frosty now tarazi's one of the best yukon plays women's college basketball players of all time. I mean shirl miller might be the best Cheryl soups is up there as well. But dan frothing one great great great talents to ever play at uconn mazing score I believe this. She's still in the top three. No my moore's number one all time scoring a you competent thanks. Raleigh might be at number three now. If i'm not mistaken. But i have dennis rasi at number two and a number one. If you haven't figured it out by now. I have my more actually at number one. And this is simply based on what i've seen not all that plays a factor into it could i i i saw my more play. I didn't really see dance raw than subaru. I i saw highlights in gainesville. But i saw alive and my morning from stewart in charles. I saw those women play and dance In my moore was the first player i saw said. Wow you can't guard that there's nothing you can throw at her that she can do as recall so much dominant chassis turned not twenty. Two thousand nine season is seemed like she could just get to the basket will ensure really the genesis in my paint for that point. Forward you about six two six one. But she didn't play the point. But as the season wind it down in specially guys incidentally tournament the offense started being initiated. The room i am more. So he's you started to see the emergence of that point forward kind of concept and my mortgages our ability She she was a player. That could do everything she could score. She could rebound she's excellent amazing rebounding for guard one-season this. She was from not mistaken. She led you kinda every statistical category in points rebounds cysts. It steals from wrong once on one of you guys correcting by i. I do believe that was the once again the season but my mortis her abilities. Dominy on both ends of the floor and pull her imprint on. The game is bar. None in is something that i haven't seen duplicated in a very long time if ever so those are my top five in and it's it's difficult to do with a top five list for you consider so much talent as gone through there. And he can't really go wrong with either listened to make. And i had some acts make honorable mention this and this honorable mention. I have swing cash. Who's a hall of famer. Rebecca lobo another whole favor. I have key nurse and then i have Gabe williams in fiscal year. And i'm still. I'm still even people off. This list would even mention renee. Montgomery the mentioned stepping golsen. It makes him for your hartley or tiffany hayes. So there's just so much much talent on this team on his drought program organization. I just wanted to.

"Kidner- spree hartley stephanie. Dosen there's just an enormous amount of town eater and rebecca lobo sorry have been star rating. So there's just a new numerous amount of talent and so is it got me thinkin. A who's who's the best or the best ones swim cash. Sorry jeffers odi cleaning skating louis. Renee montgomery side the top up to me. Now crystal dangerfield carol walters. That's when you don't remember s that's need that you don't hear too often. Sumika williams tiffany hayes sorry Star starter conducts me now. This is so much talent in. It's our thinking okay. Who are the the best. 'cause you know as human beings we we're creatures of structure recruiters of of order so we like to put things we we naturally to put things in lists and orders in things of that nature. So who are the in just looking at their collegiate careers not looking at their. Wnba success strictly looking at their collegiate careers. What what are who are the best players to play uconn and and i debated on Do i wanna do a top five or do i wanna do a starting five in when you do a starting five things to give murky in terms of position list basketball. A who's really running the point. Who really run the wing. Because there's a point back online. Were were my more is really the point forward but she was initiative the offense and really the same with brown stewart for being honest. Same gabby williams these and then we'll get so my kia nurse Nurse yes she's listed guard but you know she could. She could play in the low post as a stronger guard. So i thought about starting five and i said to myself no less is do a. This is a top five five..

"Welcome back thank you for sticking with us. You know there's a. There's a old cliche states that familiarity breeds contempt. Now in that same breath. They'll familiarity does breed contempt. We can also say that. I r- sharpens. Iron in the championship. Pedigree is formed from within pushed outward so at his source whatever his source Pedigree lies within in those. Come within they come into contact with it rubs off on them. This concept can be applied to culture pascall culture. And i talked about this. In one of our first episodes how culture especially at the collegiate level is by far the most important aspect to a winning program and i talked in detail about how to establish culture in what to do to players baden on the culture. What happens they don't buy in how long it takes I covered all that in the previous episode. So if you guys wanna take a look at that you can't but culture is important for winning pedigree. One one program in particular is no stranger whatsoever to winning in championship pedigree in being on a status of greatness in setting themselves apart from mediocrity in rising to the ceiling of of potential into bursting through it and reaching heights. We never thought imaginable in this. This program i'm talking about uconn women's basketball program in the ref and and the example that i use plug and play so. Let's think about this thing about nick. Sabin college football right now. I up i am. I grew up in alabama fan socket name. We have every player has been that program but to the average fan. They don't they don't know many of the players they just alabama itself as a whole as the program. Right nick sabin in we can say the same with with clemson endeavour sweeney. They clinton big program. But they don't know many players were grant footballer so many is on roster during season uconn women's basketball particular dishes so much winning that one singular player does not overshadow or overcome the culture or the program as a whole and think that's a key factor when it comes as a program in the long-term building dynasties a called play. Because you have to be able to plug in any sort of player any not any sort of play by play fits the mulford culture plug in. They win do their job. That nickelback out did you get a new guy or new player. Rotate it out. So the culture remains the same no matter the year no matter the team and so now every player every team is benefiting from that cultural batter. The year no matter the season and then you come. Women's basketball prime example of that head coach funeral. has just exhumed rated so much dominates there while at uconn but i do want to shed light on his uconn women's basketball program because there's just so much town so much success i mean we can't we can just read off their their number championships. They won one ninety five. Two thousand two thousand two thousand three thousand four two thousand nine to attend hasn't thirteen thousand fourteen so fifteen thousand sixteen in their final four appearances in all those years to include two thousand eight inch twelve thousand thirteen two thousand seventeen eighteen nineteen thousand twenty one. So there's there's just so much dominance in and success within these within this program. You mentioned the winning streets. They have one win. Streak of one hundred eleven wins that started on november thirteenth Fourteen it gets creighton in the regular season. Ended on moore thirty first son seventeen in the instantly. Final four again. Mississippi state of that buzzer beater. The world famous one. We are married at mississippi state will go on to lose in the championship game against south carolina. But that wasn't Game nonetheless and they also have an ninety game win streak. What is ironic because the eighty nine was a previous record held by ucla in john. John wooden kareem abdul-jabbar. Soon as you come beat that record. They won working to get denied the and they lost to stanford. I'll never forget the house in the middle school. It was breaking news. They had lost because not even a week. Prior to that just broke the records and at that level. You're you're breakout from people from the pressure people putting on you for winning every game but there's just in numerous amount success only within this program right and i just wanted to take some time to to talk about some of the crate. Women's basketball players. Come through here i mean. Let's look at the list. I mean i don't have a list on me. But off the top of my head. He could argue the greatest point guard of all time super the greatest shooting guard of all time dinesh rausing arguably the greatest small of all sign my more rebecca lobo teen charles. The feast the feast. Collier gabby billiards. Mariah jefferson brown stewart katie samuelson cape cave broker. I'm sorry five. Zero.

"Definitely prepared me and just how you know before i started my overseas career at already experienced a little bit of that oversees ball and playing sow in japan. And when i thought about it at it made me realize that. That's what actually prepared me. No plane those international schools as a high schooler because la those tenants lot of those lie playing styles and concepts that house introduced to by plano's international schools are still very prominent today at international level from the uk tour. Menia to mexico. They're all prominent physicality the ability to move off the ball the ability to have amazing help side defense in the driving. Kick constant awfully bombers while movement. Being able to start catch you. These are all concepts were introduced in high school. They are still extremely prominent ivy professional basketball player. So that's what that's what prepared me for my career. As the overseas basketball player is no my exposure to it and high school. Part of it is what help prepare me but your experiences are show vital so important to you innocent to do to do reflection to see just how your molded shaped by these experiences. And i wouldn't have been able to expand upon this wouldn't have been able to reflect on it if it wasn't brought to my attention so thank you but speaking of reflection a one turn-back-the-clock a little bit. "Star back in high school and you know for those who is. Maybe i was named there. That don't know. I grew up in japan nice from seventh grade to graduate high school house in japan. Moms in military answers as not coastal naval base and with high school over there What's americanized school. Played other military bases in japan korea. Okinawa and we play international schools as well so my first taste of in playing against the Quote unquote overseas seymour. Getting exposed to that oversees style of basketball was my freshman. Year is now on. Jv jamie my freshman year so we can. Let's let's use my talk in your. That's an i play varsity in it out. That was at the point where i started console. Ridden and starting to realize they. I'm pretty good at his basketball. But i had to work hard and i was always arms mercury but i recall that i was able to. You know playing us americans. I was able to get to where i get to my spots. gets on pull ups in my floaters out very understands nice Had voters allot my runners and use my speed and has made my living. And i realized that america schoolhouse able to do that because the help side was lazy. The ball screen defense was pretty lazy and indeed depressed principles were eating lanes as well and i remember the so weird american school school i went to newbies wimp. Leonova military school i could blow by a defender. Because there's there is as much physicality so miserable bump drive the basket and there's no one spot and our and i remember easy for defense as well because the other american teams like we struggled with the two there wasn't as much bobbleheads relied on a lot of isolation eyeball screens set the still permits to be in america basketball. And that's about it a couple of weeks ago. I covered the usa during the olympics. A wish with that to you. Know not much ball movement. Linda high hyphen roles screen Quite a bit isolation clean. We know when he played his house that you can use relying let us but the first that international school myself software year it was really an eye opener because we lost by thirty points and we went in there thinking man. We're gonna win dust these guys out you know. We're more athletic than them. Were bigger than them. Fasten than we're just gonna believe all of them. Were going be third but that was a humble experience very humbling experience. At least you know went out there in our member. I had we had Play where outcome off iverson's iverson cut Come to cut ours could come across in isolated on the wing army always always jab outside. Get middle tha floater. On their forget came on. I mean come on the iverson cut pete that ram jab and building a little bit he building but when i went mill he recovered. She recovered so quick. He had beat me spot. And i realized house students is wrong. Might am i okay. I must stop loose. And i realized that dow's actual doubt actual defense the principle that they talked in beat. The man jumped him in spot so he beamed hispano we hold bring it back out as island so now i'm thinking okay. I'm just going to beat him off. The dribble and some isolated on that wing. And so i go to my legs. Has he and i blow by in i blow by him driving baseline okay here now is the rim but before even rise up the help side comes clear across the pain and so it forces me to stop and kick it back out and i thought to myself now why i discussed on students to straight plays two straight on drive to just two straight attacks. That's never had before and as resident they have key. Defensive principles are excellent amazing defensive principles and concepts and that's my r- as this is the first question again. This is may okay. This team is different and we have a loan day but then on we when we get defense. They made his move in a work Flex scott's were come on pinned down staggers high school in an ever get their bomblet was impeccable in it calls our our defense to lose focus and we know art defend. Our outside became terrible because of that so much. Movement penetration drives and kicks. So they're able to get easy shots off the kick outs in. Easy jumpers in drives off the weak side. And that's what a lot of overseas basketball is. A lot of driving kick is a lot of ball movement. Slot physicality off those pinned down the screens. You gotta have great defense principles. Great defensive awareness special on the health side and you've got to be active in got to be like physical especially with ombo defense in the as my first taste of it in in. I experience that i experienced that in h- in high school and so when are you know played the american schools It was easy for me. In when i got the college. It was someone easy as well. I mean at at a huge learning adjustment huge adjustment. But why what i had experienced prior to.

It's a little story so last week. The team that i'm going to be playing for This upcoming season in mexico we have presence for our league and we were there for about a week to two weeks and thankfully won the tournament. We got first place in and now to hold spank pictures. Did the championship ceremony. Did all that. All the knicks glamour. Although it was good it was a blessing and the last day was on a sunday sunday. Jamshed game on sunday ceremony right after that and a general manager of the team said that that talk to the americans former visiting said that If you guys want to stay two things you can will cover your lodging in your translation here. Made me realize that when you're going through this process going to moment of you know whatever wherever you are having free. Whatever is the at to take advantage of the little moments like that. Like opportunity that states days in mexico for free States archer days for a mini vacation gets into of that because there going income and times that she has man when you could care less about spending time to yourself are taking time because you have created something. That's more viable anything in his life and as your family and once you create your family on you wanna steal as much time as possible in in my father's always tell me but i never quite understood it and i and i still don't understand it one hundred percent on this. I mean because i'm not a. I'm not a father. I don't have stanton any says they're really gonna grab understand into creature and i totally understand. Did someone bigger or something more than yourself your actions no longer just dictate your way living but the people around you and once you understand your thought process shit and every decision may is no longer base often just your benefit are. Your outlook is also based on the benefit of those around. Those are supporting in. That's your responsibility right there. So it's going to hop off my soapbox right there. I did not know what Smurf to get. I thought about Papa Smurf, but hey, he's old, he's Papa Smurf, how can I explain that? And then it's, it's Papa Smurf on my chest. How can I, how can I, how can I pull it out? How could I pull that off? How can I get away with that wage? I thought about brainy Smurf was like I'm, I'm a relatively smart guy, but but I'm not the smartest guy in the room. I don't pretend to be the smartest guy in the room. I don't want to be the smartest guy in the room and if I'm the smartest guy in the room, we got problems. If I'm the smartest one in the room there issues, if I'm the smartest one in the room, that better be nobody else in the room. If I'm the smartest in the room get better not be any other people in the room so it couldn't have been brainy. Then I thought about jokey. It's like no. I'm already not funny comedian. I'm already a comedian who Don't tell jokes. And that's not really a comedian. Now, do I really need? I really need that smoke. Do I really need that smoke? And so I just started going through all the different Smurfs in my head and I came up with none then I got one of my partners. My boys, my friends just draw just me as a Smurf and it just didn't look right draw me as a Smurf and it didn't come out, right. And I decided I was like, if I'm going to do this, I gotta do this crap, I gotta do this properly, I gotta make sure that everything is good to go because if this messes up, if this mess up the scent crayons, this is not free Oz..
