Northbound from 95 onto three 95 beyond the belt way well before edsel wrote, minor crash, but involving a bus blocking the left lane northbound on three 95 in Springfield. Traffic is heavy both ways toward the 14th street bridge and southbound on the George Washington Parkway getting there. Northbound traffic at the north end of the Parkway is slow to connect with the ITER loop. It's a slow afternoon out of tysons toward Bethesda on the beltway, but with nothing blocking the way briefly last hour had one damaged crowd on the outside edge. That should be out of the way now. It's been slow on the outer loop from Alexandria across the Woodrow Wilson bridge, much earlier, a couple of hours ago, a car fire, an oxen hill, that long ago got moved out of the way. And the rest of the way around the beltway in Maryland, it's going to come down to more routine volumes. We had the purple line work in Riverdale park on two O one south of east west highway and the Riverdale road. Yes, the first damage report from the weather service has come in Montgomery county. This is a tree down on power lines near the intersection of selman road and big Woods road. Again, that's in the Dickerson area. And we do have a couple of showers now lined up from Westminster, south to mount airy into Northern Virginia. That's the leading edge of the front and under these showers we do not have any severe thunderstorm warnings, but the winds are picking up markedly, the cold front is now basically right along the spine of the blue ridge and moving east. So we are going to see the strongest wind gust between 6 30 and 9 o'clock this evening as the front comes through. Just to give you an idea of how cold it is behind the front, it's in the lower 40s and far western Maryland. We are going to see the temperatures drop from the 70s into the 60s this evening and then well into the 40s by later tonight, the high wind warning goes into 1 a.m., the strongest gust though was subsides somewhere between about 8 30 and 9 o'clock, but the biggest increase in power outages will be here this evening. So be on guard for trees falling down, power outages, and travel could become a little difficult. Some of the rural spots, especially, temperatures tomorrow will be in the low 60s with lots of sunshine, upper 60s on Monday, mid to upper 70s on Tuesday, upper 70s on Wednesday afternoon.
