"Take those steps in and do something professionally with your career to actually. Contribute to the world of conservation, which brings us to the topic of Salad, and if anyone listening has heard of salad at all is probably as an ingredient, which is interesting. Because often times I hear people saying, Vanilla is the only culinary viable orchid on the planet, which is not true. So let's talk about sal up what is it? What is it used for, and where does it come from? When Salad Salad? Actually, it's not only an arcade ashamed Larkin it's like a big group of four kids. If you go through literature, you can find more than thirty five species. SLEAFORD Silane it's also depending on when a whether you are what exactly two different species or group species in Greece different one in Turkey or other countries. So when we talk about the If we see all the countries together faced in weekend, say that the most common once belonged to Janet like or he's like that filariasis also mccown. And infected, maybe it's off races when. So what's smoke one between solid core kids as their root system they most often have obeyed Bob's or? Huber's along one that look like little fingers. If. You see those on the rises. So this is actually a a salad porchet and being driven is coming through the dried and ground Cuba's that's what you get the. Fowler and the Susan Shelley Different. If you see, for example, in Greece, they like days they're just washed with water and dry. But if you go to Durkin also boy in either walking on me, it depends on very Jim. So that's what's giving you the final product of salad father. In what is sell generally used in? I mean, if someone's looking to see if it's an ingredient, what kind of food are they looking at generally or is it a lot just like the orchids that gives us it If you look at it as any greeted Bailey actually there are a lot of things you can find it most often is the traditional beverage. Back. The. Actually it's not always clear product that sometimes makes the cornstarch. Bob Is the one that you make the beverage hot beverage also techie you can find the acid thickening ingredient for they additional ice cream called on the. One that stick you on. an increase is also used or traditional ice cream, but this call, Kai Mikey by this mixed with mustard powder. The one that comes from the must be healthy. So this is more I don't mind. And less. But issue see that he starts Suzanne Masters you can not a fine sapping the most stains places even as an ingredient or bombs. So. Mrs I leave. I much. Boy. While an okay. So these are all terrestrial orchids for anyone that's not familiar with the Genera, and when you talk about harvesting routes, that immediately brings to mind issues that we have with harvesting plants here in North America for instance, panics and high dressed us. Those are two plants that are highly sought after further routes, but the very act of pulling up a plant. By. Its roots kills it right. So this is where you can kind of see the connection with conservation. If you're harvesting the roots of a plant, you're you're taking its life away from it right and so that's where you start to come into issues with biodiversity endangerment with a lot of these orchids correct yet because the production of Saleh Pro Juarez, the use of the entire. Plans. So basically in the overwhelming majority of aces harvesting salad means the destruction of the orchestras selves. Now to make one kilo solid requires a by two and a half thousand plans. To the half thousand individuals, Wallin kilo. Of. Salam powder ouch. Yeah. That's a lot of orchids. Now, if you think about one cup of sal but of the equivalent to Cappuccino or something but drinking salad beverage. you need five grams for that. So if you do the math works as Iran thirteen plans for a single cup of salad drink. Does a pretty expensive kind of process in terms of of orchids. and. There are certain people told you know taking one of the to chew birds and putting the other back but all this is all this is just talk really because the amount of work required harvesting these things it's very hard were, and that's one of the reasons why are studied we found a lot of people that actually stopped elected. Elected Saleh. But It's a bypass were talking about something between. Ten. In Turkey and the launch ed very variable. The amount of used something between twenty and AC tones in a single year. Yeah. And that I remember talk from Professor Cramps Zeke, he mentioned that every year and thirteen one, hundred, twenty, million arcades are being kids in order to produce missile of the year. So it's like a tremendous amount of individuals and as able say that it is like you're actually bringing up a whole mountain that say a huge number. Yeah and again, we wouldn't be talking about conservation here. If this was something that was produced agriculturally, right these are all being taken from the wild they're harvested and those numbers are mind blowing I had no idea what we were getting into when. We started talking about this just in terms of quantity and like you said, it's not just the fact that they're pulling these plants out of the ground and them for this it's your digging the whole time you're also disrupting habitats and that's something I never see talked about when it comes to harvesting foraging anything like that is the fact that if you're digging things up your
How Joe Pavelski chose between Stars, Lightning after leaving Sharks
"Many years with the San Jose Sharks, Joe Pavelski last summer was an unrestricted free agent. He visited two teams in free agency. Tampa Bay and Dallas. Podolski, of course, signed with the stars, but he knows the lightning well. No, they're deep teams. They have good team, speed and skill on, you know they have some good defense and a great goalie over there, So there's their team that has something to prove, as well and You know, that's what I think it would make a good measure. With players like Pavelski and Corey Perry, Jamie Benn stars have a nice mix of veterans and young, rising stars. Now this is the first Cup final for Dallas in 20 years, actually it back to back years, 1999 and 2000. Tampa Bay lost to Chicago in 2015 in the Cup final and then was so close to getting there but heartbreak for the Lightning in the Eastern Conference finals in 2016 against Pittsburgh in 2018 against Washington. They lead those Siri's three games to two. They were a game away from the Stanley Cup final on Lito let it get away, and they lost both Siri's In seven games.
Is Powdered Milk Bad For You?
"Recently a listener posted a question about powdered milk on my facebook page. She was wondering whether it's okay to use dried or powdered milk in place a fresh milk. Powdered milk, of course less expensive than fresh milk. It's relatively nonperishable. It's lightweight and portable, and for those reasons, many people include powdered milk in their emergency food stores. In terms of nutrients like. Protein and potassium dried. Milk is comparable to fresh milk, and like fresh milk dried milk powder is usually fortified with vitamins, a and d. you can add dried milk to breads and other baked goods, soups, sauces, smoothies, or other recipes in order to add extra protein and other nutrients. But if you research this question on the Internet, you will quickly come across some sources, claiming that powdered milk is extremely bad for you because it contains oxidized cholesterol, allegedly the most dangerous type of cholesterol. Some of these websites also claimed that powdered milk is added to all low fat and fat free milk in order to give it more body, and they say that there's no way for you to tell whether or not your milk contains added dry milk, because the passengers are not required to list powdered milk in the ingredient list. I mean pretty scary stuff, right? Well as is typical of the nutrition information that you find online, the claims about powdered milk are a jumble of fact, half truths and outright fallacies, so let's take a closer look at the properties and the potential dangers of powdered milk in order to make dried milk pasteurized milk is I concentrated through evaporation, and then it's usually sprayed into a heated tank, and that causes the remaining water to quickly evaporate leaving behind dried milk solids. Milk can also be freeze dried, and because of the lower processing temperatures freeze dried may actually taste more like fresh milk when it's reconstituted, but this much more expensive process, and therefore it's a lot less common. It is true that packager could add dried milk to fresh milk, and because of the way the FDA labeling regulations define milk. They would not be required to list powdered milk in the ingredient list. However, it is absolutely not true that all skim and low fat milk has dried milk added to it. In fact, you might have to work pretty hard to find some that does have dried milk attitude. I spoke with representatives for half a dozen different brands of milk, including national brands like stony field farms and horizon as well as my local store brand, both the organic as well as the conventional and none of them. Add any dried milk to their fresh milk products. There is a brand that you may have seen called. Skim plus it's marketed as being creamier than regular skim milk, and they create that creamy texture by adding dried milk powder to the fresh milk and sure enough. The dried milk is not listed separately in the ingredient list. However when you add dried milk to fresh milk, it also increases the protein content, so you could always just take a quick look at the nutrition facts label, and if you see milk that contains more than nine grams of protein per one cup serving, they may indeed have added dry milk powder to it and if it doesn't, you can be pretty sure that they didn't. Now while you're checking those nutrition facts labels, you may come across fair life milk. This is a brand of milk that is fifty percent higher in protein than normal milk. However, in this case, it's not because they've added dried milk. Instead Fair life is made by passing fresh milk through a series of specialized filters that remove some of the lactose and then and up concentrating the protein. Okay. So, what's all this about? oxidized cholesterol. oxidized cholesterol is cholesterol that's been sort of roughed up around the edges, and that makes it particularly irritating to your blood vessels to make a long story short that irritation is what triggers the formation of plaques, and that is the beginning of heart disease, and what's worse, oxidized cholesterol molecules can intern oxidizer other cholesterol molecules setting off a sort of chain reaction. And it is also true that in the process of turning fresh milk into a powder, the cholesterol in the milk is likely to get oxidized, but nonfat dried milk is not going to be a significant source of oxidized cholesterol, because nonfat milk contains almost no cholesterol to begin with so i. don't think that you need to go out of your way to avoid nonfat dry milk or products that are made with it. Whole milk is somewhat higher in cholesterol so powdered whole milk would pose more of a concern, but perhaps the biggest concern with

Yea once the lead character in the movie chef said to his son as he dove into a plate of venue as well walking along the streets of New Orleans. That line hit me in the face hard. I'm not even sure what happened for the next few minutes of the movie as that line tumbled over and over again in my head my mind exploring it evaluating it examining it from every angle. I'll seeing things from a whole new vantage point. I experienced as you get a lot of first experiences in life but you only get all of them. Once they're not all majestic in fact most are in your day to day life. If you've noticed that the first time when out on a walk you notice. The trees have changed for the season. The first time you have a real meaningful conversation with a new friend who is becoming a best friend. The first time you meditate. Don't quit after four minutes. And then some are majestic as the first time you stand in front of the mountain range. You've dreamed of forever the first time you realize you're turning dreams into reality. The first time you fall in love with a person with yourself with life those moments life is not life without them. You've day to day existence. I thought that was clever saying from her side of the family but it was actually a slogan from World War Two encouraging the public to use fewer resources so more could be diverted to the war effort. We're all getting a taste of that as we're hunker down unable to shop at the spur of the moment and much more limited in our choices when we do thankfully we do have precedent to fall back on after all people are still alive today it through the Great Depression children. The roaring twenties came to an abrupt stop with the Stock Market Crash of Nineteen Twenty nine which saw billions of dollars evaporated into thin air. The crash wasn't the sole cause of the Great Depression. There were things like the dust bowl wherein incorrect farming methods turned the fertile American planes into a desert but the crash did act to accelerate the global economic collapse by nineteen thirty three. Nearly half of America's banks failed and thirty percent of the workforce was unemployed. You had to make the most of what you had and you had to get good at that fast to women. Help struggling homemakers to be able to feed their families. Eleanor Roosevelt an aunt. Sammy beginning in nineteen twenty. Six and Sammy had a popular weekday. Radio show called housekeepers chat about cooking and other domestic concerns as well as chitchatting about whatever else was going on at the time and Sammy was very popular especially in rural areas. Thousands of people wrote into her for recipes by nineteen thirty to one hundred and ninety four stations broadcast aunt. Sammy show and she published aunt. Sammy's radio recipes. Parenthetically the Great Depression Cookbook. It would be the first cookbook published in Braille. Interestingly enough though I struggle to think of how difficult it would be to cook on wood or old timey gas stove without good eyesight on Sammy's recipes. Find widespread acceptance prior to which it was only found in insular Italian neighborhoods and Sammie helped many wives and mothers through the Great Depression but once that was over then country was back on its feet. People lost interest. The show was cancelled sometime in the nineteen forties. Though sources don't agree when exactly. There's one other fact about aunt Sammy. That's worth mentioning. She didn't exist in the latter half of the twentieth. The Department of Agriculture Bureau of Home Economics created a wife for uncle. Sam The on creatively named Aunt Sammy. The character was voiced by different women at each individual radio station that way the listener would hear an accent similar to their own and feel more connected to aunt Sammy. Three women worked behind the scenes at the USDA to prepare the script each week that all the regional aunt. Sammy's would use fanny Walker. Contested Recipes Josephine. Harmful wrote the chatty portions of the show and Ruth Fan demine coordinated all of the Menus and recipes. The other woman who guided homemakers through was the very real first lady. Eleanor Roosevelt. When Franklin Roosevelt entered the White House in Nineteen thirty three? A record number of people were hungry but being president is not without its perks and the first family eight well even extravagantly while people stood inbred lines. Eleanor Roosevelt. Who didn't know how to cook realized that the way she and the president ate in the White House had the potential to influence and even help the nation through the depression. She hired an acquaintance. Henrietta Nesbitt whose husband was out of work to be the new White House housekeeper housekeeper at that time more like how we use the term homemaker today and not as we use a euphemism for cleaning lady. Nesbitt and Roosevelt retooled the entire kitchen installing modern appliances and coaxing the skeptical White House staff to use them. This was the first kitchen in America and it wasn't even sanitary recalled. Nesbitt in her memoir. Meanwhile Eleanor turn to home economists for menus that would balance nutrition and economy the healthiest recipes in the world wouldn't help people if they couldn't afford the ingredients what's more she resolved to serve these humble dishes in the White House. Her efforts were covered by national newspapers and followed closely by housewives. There was a catch. These nutritious economic meals were awful. The first kitchen was turning out some of the most unpalatable meals in modern memory. The president himself was usually the test subject for these new dishes and he obligingly choked them down. Things like deviled eggs with tomato sauce and prune pudding in place of lavish dishes. The White House table was the stage for things like Spaghetti with boiled carrots. Cold jellied billion and bread and butter sandwiches served so much mutton that being grown sheep which is cheaper than lamb. Because it's much tougher that it became a joke throughout Washington. The first lady experimented with foods like milk corno a mix of dried milk powder and cornmeal developed by Cornell University milk. Porno could be eaten as a gruel like dish or worked into recipes. I was not brave enough to research. What those recipes might be. The bland meals became so notorious that visitors to the White House would eat before they went nutrition. Not Taste was paramount in the time of soup. Kitchens and bread lines and eleanor. Roosevelt was trying to use her table as a way of encouraging and inspiring other Americans to get through this uniquely challenging historical moment. It was just as well they got used to eating a limited range of food because FDR's presidency also included World War Two and the Roosevelt's eight rationed food just like everyone else Roosevelt's White House eight modestly in an act of culinary solidarity with the people who were suffering. Where people in homeless or migrant worker camps would pool their resources so that everyone could eat none of my sources mentioned where the name Mulligan might have come from. We do know the name origin of another STU. Hoover Stu Herbert Hoover had been elected just in time for the crash. But Unlike the Roosevelt's he continued to live the good life in the White House. Shantytowns BECAME HOOVER. Villes and the soup from soup. Kitchens became hoover stu the weirdest one of all and this report is opinion was peanut butter in baked. Onions was a whole onion hollowed out stuffed with peanut butter and baked. Just because we have two things on hand doesn't mean we should eat them at the same time as Eagle men succinctly put it. Peanut butter has nothing to say to a baked onion. Some recipes sound like they shouldn't work but surprisingly do like mock Apple Pie. Apples weren't readily available. But Americans weren't willing to give up their conic Apple Pie. The apples in mock apple pie were actually Ritz crackers and it worked. The same goes for casseroles which were a good way to use up odds and ends or to mask less palatable ingredients the depression also gave us the mother of all comfort. What Are the Health Benefits of Yerba Mate?
"Talking about Uraba Matei today. What is it? What are the health benefits attributed to it? And how can you best enjoy. Matei is traditional South American beverage. That's brewed from the leaves and stems of the Yerba Matte tape plant. And that's a tree that belongs to the Holly Ali. Family motto is widely consumed in Argentina Uruguay Paraguay and Brazil where the Matia tree is indigenous. But you'll also find Matei as an ingredient gradient in energy drinks or even in the herbal tea section of your local health food store fun fact technically. The Word T. only applies to the leaves leaves of the Camilla Sinensis or tea plant so the category of beverages popularly known as herbal tea are actually tisanes anyway. Human human beings apparently have a universal appetite for stimulants depending on where on the globe. Your ancestors found themselves. They might have enjoyed beverages made from coffee. Cacao Beans Goran Berries Cola nuts or T- or Mateo leaves although each contains a slightly different array of active chemicals. All all of these plants contain caffeine or a closely related molecule with similar stimulant properties. There are many impressive health benefits attributed to drinking matei including greater energy mental focus reduced fatigue weight loss antioxidant activity and enhanced sport performance formation's but before you get too excited about this new miracle brew. Most of those benefits that are attributed to Matei are available from any caffeinated needed beverage. There's no question. That caffeine stimulates the central nervous system. And that results in alertness and reduced fatigue now the impact of Mateo on weight. Wait and fat loss is likely to be relatively minor especially compared to the impact of your food and movement choices and similarly expect only incremental effects on your athletic performance. It might help you go a little longer or a little faster but Matia is not going to turn a weekend jogger into an Olympic runner or anything. So let's talk about how caffeine affect the body. Caffeine is not addictive in the true sense of the word but it is habit forming. If you drink caffeine in regularly your body will become habituated to its effects. You might feel like you can't wake up in the morning until you've had your first cup and if deprived of your regular caffeine fix you may develop a temporary headache. So if you're trying to quit caffeine I recommend weaning yourself gradually to minimize any of those unpleasant side effects on the plus side regular consumers also habitue to caffeine's diuretic effects contrary to Popular Lore. Drinking caffeinated needed beverages. Like coffee and tea or Matei is not dehydrating if you drink them. Regularly long-term Caffeine use also appears to have neuro protective effects fact reducing the risk of dementia Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease now just like different fruits and vegetables have different nutrient profiles coffee fi t mateo and the other stimulant beverages each contain unique phytochemicals that may offer distinct benefits but the similarities here are greater later than the differences. You can stick to your favorite caffeine vehicle or play the field or of course you may choose to abstain altogether many many of the antioxidant and other disease fighting compounds that are found in coffee tea and Matei can also be gotten from non stimulating fruits and vegetables in particular apples bowls. What's the Difference Between Baking Soda and Baking Powder?
"Baking powder and baking soda are similar. They're definitely not the same. Baking soda is made from one ingredient. Sodium bicarbonate sodium bicarbonate is alkaline. Sometimes called a base and its job is to react. Act with some kind of acid in batter such as buttermilk yogurt brown sugar or vinegar and upon reacting release carbon dioxide bubbles that help your baked goods rise as an become light and fluffy. This reaction happens immediately when the baking soda and acid come in contact with each other on the other hand. Baking powder is a combination nation of sodium bicarbonate plus two acids that are stable in a dry room temperature state Often those acids being mono calcium phosphate and sodium aluminum sulfate fate. These two additional ingredients worked. Extend the learning process and mean that you don't necessarily have to add any acids to your better when you stirred dry baking powder into a wet batter. or though I the monarch calcium phosphate hydrates and can react with these Odeon. Bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide bubbles. Then then when you put your own baked goods in the oven the combination of heat and moisture will allow the sodium aluminum sulfate to react giving a second burst of gas this the two stage activation process which gives baking powder the tag double acting means you can delay baking the batter or dough for up to twenty minutes without much affecting its leading power. The recipes using baking soda on the other hand require immediate baking for the best results since baking soda. Alone reacts to an acid as soon as the two are mixed of the Doel only deflate from there but if you've got only baking soda on hand and need baking powder no worries. You can substitute baking soda for baking powder with two precautions. I you need enough city in the mixture to activate the baking soda. Say One cup of buttermilk or a teaspoon of lemon juice per her half a teaspoon of baking soda. Second you have to calculate the proper amount of baking soda to use. Baking Soda is four times stronger than baking powder so a recipe calling for a teaspoon of baking powder translates to a quarter teaspoon of baking soda. If you happen to have cream of Tartar at home you can make your own baking taking powder by combining it with baking soda a quarter Teaspoon of Baking Soda and five eighths of Teaspoon. Of Cream of tartar will be equal to one teaspoon of baking powder. A cream of tartar is another powdery. ACID potassium bitartrate. Baking powder was actually originally a combination of cream. Charter and Baking Soda. It I debuted in England in the late. Eighteen Forty S.. But at the time cream of Tartar was pricey and being that it's a byproduct of the wine industry. Americans had to import it from Europe so in eighteen fifty fifty six. An American chemist created modern baking powder which substitutes mono- calcium phosphate for cream of tartar. Unfortunately while it's relatively easy easy to substitute baking soda or baking powder. The opposite is not true if a recipe calls for baking soda. And all you have is baking powder. It's best not to proceed recede as baking powder is a combination of at least a couple of ingredients since baking soda is again stronger than baking powder. You'd need three or four times. The amount of baking powder and a reduction in Salton other acidic ingredients in the better to approximate substitute end. It's likely that the texture and flavor of the finished product will not be. What what you were going for even with your best efforts. Also a caveat when using either baking soda or baking powder measure carefully a too much baking soda can cause your baked goods to fall while too much. Baking powder can lend a bitter taste tear goodies and too little of either of these leavening agents can result in dense. Heavy Eddie goods without enough rise

How Often Should You Wash Your Coffee Mug?
"People love their coffee but most don't extend their profound affection to its trustee receptacle the Coffee Cup office workers are often guilty of such neglect merely rinsing and reusing their mug day after day or worse just dumping out the old coffee and feeling their cup with new brew a while oil. It seems that the mug would be just fine with such treatment after all hot water kills germs and you're the only person who uses your mug. Thank you very much. The truth is perhaps more I opening than the beverages inherent caffeine a mostly empty mug left to its own devices can quickly grow its own microbiome of course most bacteria are harmless. There are those that aren't we spoke by email with Melissa maker host of the Youtube Channel Clean my space. She said all sorts of germs and bacteria can live on in your cup especially if you're in a shared space cold and flu germs tend to travel and can easily lend honor in. Your Cup plus terms from your mouth and hands. We'll also transferred to your cup the warmer and damper the environment the more pleasing for bacteria to fester indeed the laundry list of possibilities ladies is daunting. We also spoke by email with Dr Terry Connell professor of microbiology and Immunology at the University of Buffalo they said Strip staff and any number of resident or transient oral bacteria which may include potential pathogens may reside in unwashed cups and of course if someone else should drink from from one cup bacteria from their mouths can be transferred into it office. Environments are particularly conducive to the spread of bacteria. Dr Childs Gerber a professor of microbiology at the University of Arizona published research findings back in nineteen ninety seven the continued to rock our world today his team assessed bacteria found bounded office coffee cups and coffee preparation areas and they discovered forty one percent of cups tested were contaminated with Calif- bacteria otherwise known as fecal bacteria correa and most of the time these bacteria are not harmful to people but they certainly can be especially to those with weakened or compromised immune systems the kicker the doctor group has team found that a small office cup Washer sort of like a mini dishwasher was all it took to eradicate these and other types of bacteria. The problem is as most people think of simple rinse and wipe is enough to keep germs at bay however this approach is definitely not enough to tackle such formidable opponents. Dr Connell said bacteria can adhere to the surface of the cup. Washing with soap is essential to remove those bacteria. That's why public health officials in England put out a plea back in January Kan.. For reusable cups users to thoroughly wash receptacles after every single drink to prevent the spread of illness. This was in response to a spike in Reusable Cup abuse since the nation started imposing so called La tax on disposable cups proper cleaning grows even more critical if the coffee in question has been doctored with cream or sugar DR Congo explained both of those substances contain nutrients for bacterial growth while water washing will remove most of the sugar the oils oilseed proteins and milk or cream require. The use of soap to remove as is what's known as a surfactant molecule of soap can grab hold of oily particles at one end and molecules of water at its other end thus helping dissolve and rinse away even stubborn grime so here are the easy steps to lessen the germs in in your coffee. Mug Wash Your Cup with soap and water after every use wash with a paper towel rather than a shared sponge dry the cup with a paper towel and and if you're a cup has a lid remember to wash that to

Money-Saving Menstrual Cups as Effective as Tampons

Menstrual cups are as safe and leakproof as tampons and pads
"We often spoken about it publicly in the problems at the Dixie in the poor a world for women who are on that period and don't have access to pads or tampons well a relatively inexpensive and a potentially reusable plastic alternative called menstrual Cup as being declared to be after scientific survey safe reliable alternative pretty leak proof as well as the issue of how to deal with period flows a big one round the world and absorbent tampons or can be expensive hard to come by but the Cup which fits in the same way could be a good alternative to speak to the lead author of this report professor Penelope Phillips how would from the Liverpool school of tropical medicine who's that speaking to us while she's traveling thanks very much for joining us a professor first off we just give us an idea why do they make a good alternative and what's the make a good alternative they all are reliable safe and affordable and say one Cup can be bought and it can last up to ten years so although there is an actual cost of an average price of about twenty three dollars it will then lost and you and you need one Cup it will then last for about ten years so at the cost comparison is extremely good against disposable pads and tampons that can only be used once and they have to be thrown away right that that's a very interesting comparison I mean that's that's cost over time the initial cost is still quite high would you therefore be recommending that these be subsidized in some way handed out with with the idea that they become a good are they become more of more advantageous over time yes absolutely if there is an opportunity if there are charities philanthropy different programs that have the funding or I'm able to support for the initial costs of of the purchase or to provide them at a cost price then it will be affordable to even the most impoverished and as as an alternative as effective your your study seems to suggest yes so we looked at about forty three different studies from around the world also those studies that was a direct comparisons related to leakage this was only in that a small proportion for studies but leakage of blood and they performed as well if not better than temple Hey there full professors the less awareness of them because that's a crucial thing if they're a good idea more people should know about them what what's in play what are the motivations for these not being so well known about yes that said really tricky question to onsite Shipley I think it's because they're about a hundred ninety nine brands but mostly that relatively small scale please so they don't have big profit margin to be able to display them in all the different places in the world where people can easily see them and make them pop and because of that there's little to moms and because as the total amount is that from non H. and so at this that cycle a little not knowing about this option so that was one of the reasons for us to be interested in reviewing all the available to staff to dispel any myths related to safety what are the issue SO many thanks indeed for joining us professor Penelope Phillips how it from the Liverpool school of tropical medicine they also nine oh it's just as good as the alternative indie possibly better the

I'm always on the fence about something that's frozen that you just put in the sink provided. It's covered because I do a lot of vacuum sealing. So but most of the time I'll put it in the refrigerator, let it thaw out and then bring it out to room temperature, then start cooking it. But now I understand I have to do it with water couple times a month myself. It takes the life happens. Sometimes you gotta pull something out of the freezer and get it thought. And when I was first discovering how to turn things read in a natural way. I had never noticed beet juice because who drinks speeches. I don't, but there was in the juice. I'll so I I promise it'll be there, then you'll need one and a half cups of wheat flour. Or again, a grain free flower of your choice, one AIG and then plain Greek yogurt for the frosting. You can also do a little mix in for the frosting. It's optional. But if you have a little bit of peanut butter little creamy peanut butter in a little extra. Honey, I'll tell you how to jazz up your frosting. Now, you can use your stand mixer or you can just mix by hand. And a large bowl you're going to combine the Honey the oil and the applesauce beat pure. Ray or the juice in eggs. So basically, all of your wet ingredients you're going to gradually add in your flour. And then mixed thoroughly until everything is combined nicely. You're going to spend that mixture into a cupcake or cake pan, depending on what you're making bake for twenty five to thirty minutes or until when you stick a toothpick in it comes out, clean k-. That's kind of the ultimate test to make sure the inside is baked nicely. Let them cool on Iraq now for the frosting, while they're cooling, you can just frost the plain Greek yogurt wants the cake is completely cooled. You don't want to put it on there when it's still warm or you can take the Greek yogurt and mixed together. A little dollop of creamy peanut butter and a small amount of Honey can just kinda squeeze a little bit of Honey in there and just mix it to see what kind of consistency you want and that kind of gives it a little extra flavor now when you're enjoying your own red velvet cake your dog can join in on the tasty fund as well. And they will appreciate you. I promise. No, another fun treat that uses the heart shaped ice tray. That I mentioned earlier is probably the easiest treat you will ever make. It's like a homemade less expensive version of frosty paws that you can buy at the store, and all you need is the plain Greek yogurt, which you may already have if made the red velvet cake and then creamy all natural peanut butter and then the ice tray. And that's it. Now any one of those soft candy mold trays will do the trick. So if you're into making chocolates candy for yourself, you can use one of those soft. Pliable candy molds that will be fine. Your first going to drop a small amount of peanut butter into each mold. And that amount will depend on. How big your molds are just kind of line the bottom with a little scoop of peanut butter, then drop in your yogurt into each mold. Just enough to fill scrape off the top with your spoon and make sure each one is even then you'll pop it into the freezer for about four hours or until they're hard pop them out of the tray. And you've got festive frozen treats, you can even drizzle. A little bit of natural Honey.

I'm not trying to be careful. I'm sure it'd be really like should be respectfully but changed his to make sense. I think at any point in time because did like how much how much time now wasted, how much fucking have you know it's just such a when you constantly trying to fuck and get laid and chase all your fucking and you know all your angles and your, it's like taking away time from things that right, really need your attention and then there's the inevitable. What did I put my fucking dick in what's gonna check g you. It'd be a game show you host one time. Put my. No me peanut butter. Horse's ass. Well, we have. We have to reach out the Tom Berge on. I. I'm just I'm just so grateful for it, but the but the first bit, then I go into very screen and it's a tough bit to start on is. I'd say like how you know and proposed maker on the reason why new I wanted to put a ring on. It occurred to me as scratched item on my bucket list, which I can't believe took so long to happen, almost twenty years. My jackass buddies, and I doing all this stuff and nobody ever took a shit on a fan. Darren. I love that. You say it as casually, like a forty year old waking up going wait. I haven't been to Disneyland like that's what that's how you just said, oh yeah, we should take shit on a fan, right, and not a person who appreciates art. The blade. Yeah, this is a German shies video. A lot of people have trouble watching shit particularly when it's actively coming out of your Aasheim. One of them. Rose. One Cup is not in my Netflix queue. Right? But but yeah, that's where I'm at the twin starting off with them because the thing is that I had like all these people my front yard. I didn't take ship for three days. I've fucking I consumed more laxatives than can possibly be safe. What's the maximum that the human body can take? Just keep going. I think like I did the powders liquids. They fucking did way too much of it. And I'm thinking that all the poops gonna fall outta me like a bucket of soup onto the fan, which let's. Let's fucking image. Industrial fan pointed straight up. I'm thinking it's gonna. It's gonna come right back at me. I'm going to bend over at the get all over my face. It's gonna be gross in funny. Right? And so I got, I got the croon. I got the crew in the front yard at my house like covering this and like I've warmed up peeing on the fan, which was how I pictured it totally. The came right up his Larry. Sure. Because when you're doing the other one, the Dick's like will I know what I do here, right? Yeah. So so then I poop on this big angler. Right? It's big. Dangrek comes out and then when it drops not only does it not come back up to me to do. Goes flying fucking sideways across the yard, and I got all these people standing around. Everyone's fucking running for their lives. Gets stood there barf ING while they're running everyone's running for for the hills while they're barking everyone except for my girl. She's she's stood there fucking held that camera steady. She's wearing a fucking miniskirt. And at one point she actually says, Abu, I have shit and my vagina. Your life. That's my wife. Somebody makes this tells the story at your wedding. It's on camera. Yeah, that's amazing. I'd fucking screen it at the show. You hear her say she was, oh, shit, Dr?.

"Oh yeah so like there's writers on the allergy show why they're writers it's improvised and it's like well what we would do is we'd look at a bunch of scenarios and be like if we go do this will the other person do and then what could we do and response and basically like almost look at it like a like improv tori theater and think about all the possible choose your own adventure strands and try to write jokes within that so once you've created those rules do you start seeing like all the different places it could go not in the way of this allie g i don't think so i don't think i see it that way it's like like practice pranks of you i don't know i gotta say like it's there isn't a flow chart so i think what you're talking about live with the allergy thing is like a bit of a flow chart like if you go then you go in this direction and then you follow this path but with the book it's not anything like that it's more just i mean for me the hard thing about writing the book was what comes first one cup second what passage comes third like just ordering it and what's the order gonna be and the order i think among other things is like stupider tila stupid like you wanna think the longer you think about something the smarter your thoughts about a get so i tried to put the things at the beginning that would have seen like the kind of things that you would have had at the beginning of this ruminating and then it's interesting so like in some ways you have to imagine yourself early in the book in the past with less knowledge like time machine back things you've learned later in the book yeah because you don't feel like you're going on a i don't like the word journey but.
