"We'll see i mean uh is it healthy to think about that yet worthy of was from basketball you must nothing you must think nothing you must i think i think in order to have a successful life after breath will you must think in a very young age of of what you wanna do and how you want to invest your money creek cash flow and and and and by you know assets other than liabilities and buy stuff that that can generate your future in in a good future in your life you're not would you would you be one of these guys with things around the league at all like as you want to be a general manager i dunno it's a good question i always felt like i know the game in on sometimes like we have this debate it you know the best players know the game the best and and game recognize game and are not necessarily always agree with that because you know there's so many obviously not basketball players that became gril gms and also just mediocre basketball player the became great coaches attention not necessarily the best basketball player will be the best guided understand how the bill the team and how to evaluate talented so i would actually argue that there is a good kennedy lebron is a savant right like that's that's ridiculous blight you know i look like a guy who can get the most out of the least like took a gala garrett temple you play with right like like iin that guy knows the game ridiculously well is he one of the fifty best players in the game of course not in any of second baseball is always like the backup catcher who becomes the good manager like it's it's often the guys who are frankly 'cause they spend a lot of time on the bench like next to the coach in watching the game yeah and and i feel like i know the game and i know a lot of things in the rounded and understand the business of basketball but i don't really you know on more than formed in on the green light.

"On military service compulsory in israel compulsory in south korea should he compulsory is it a good idea to have compulsory military service stuck in some or countryman in you don't have enough people do you do so in order to protect the borders and everything else you you must do that but i feel like i i gained so much of it mieno now is mandatory in israel for men and women men after served three years and women have to lift serve to you you're so much it's the first time you really leave the house and when you suddenly wake up in the middle of the night with this group of people you never manulife and and you're going to different things in drills and running and running through the mud and then shooting and diving in the water and what not and he just get us different perspective of life and at the same time this is just aware relate reality is i remember when i was twenty one i came back off the will gearhead friends that just been in warren musset with them and they tell me story about how you know the phrase next to them you know got shot in the leg and no the guy just died and you know any put things in perspective in in a very big way after military service sumptuous go to india and they got a goal and have of fascinated with this whole concept want to leave and they really check out a check out from the world for six to eight months at least it's become essentially a ritual for certain kinds of israelis via those there's two different paths you can go this you know some go to go on india some go to south america but they just want to check out they they they sometimes meal most of these kids unseen their lives run for them are on their best friend just diet or and you know it's such a sad situation have been in all but they just want to check out and wanna get some freetown seems like the country's a holes almost accepted that there's going to be the sabbatical after service that if you go and just drop obviously earth in ingest whatever it is you wanna win just didn't go go right ahead and do it of its on now and which is pretty amazing get remember that.

"All because early cryonics for listeners in europe playing with makabe you were this young demi you're possibly the best israeli prospect ever to come up and i get what it there was a point where you weren't getting the playing time you probably should've man and your dad just like goes off on the organization is just like lake they haven't developed a player in twenty years and they never will an end so just that was as a funny experience because it had there been social media back then i mean it would have been it would have been like lavarra ask so it was a little bit a little different back home because for lagaan up i had the go to so much in order to to play the way i wanted to point because we are a small country there's not a lot of six nine players and and the easiest thing to do is is the show miss on may may be plea center and grow up in center and other game yeah and while they're always hammond some some coaches dead helped me grew up were like no we should be a two three amish abuse small forward goin' of the dow will be you know potentially maximizes potential so so you're going to try to almost go a durant route and israel in the essentially uh i mean i mean we have some sylla mirrored enough you know it's a great compliment the me k d's a throw typically i am not going to suggest that you had paid game anything but like the idea of being like you're the new essentially the biggest guy longest guy on the floor but you're going to play where you want to play yes so so maddow was really a big influence of of khanna creating needed the atmosphere to go one point and and you know look i makabe at the time is just a tough because makabe is a top notch organization are in europe on they competive year annually final almost every year in the past few years have been struggling but they should be there in and they have a great great fans obviously seeing fan base.

"Lower and doing the things that i can do on a consistent basis and then these think we'll find me agree role in this league and it's some quality you know uh players that don't have done that for years and unplayed a where it'll he in some ways it it it i a luxury but when you you're going to be the consummate role player now you can pick the few things you really do well and kinda maximize them 'cause you're not going to be called on to beat the five tool player any so you can kinda focus at look these are the things i can be able to do in in in systems like the asians for as i do these few things you do but do them very well and you can kind of narrow your game in some respects yeah absolutely your zemi practicing in and dribble intervals the shooting either because among issued then again and bronchial see spotting up with three in being ready to shoe and you'll see me on the weeks i won when there's opportunity and rebound the ball because you know you can go to rebound every possession on both ends and run the floor and being great shape and be i feel like that these are quality attributes that any team needs and even going into the words this year in our fell like you know if you look at the rotation and everything it going into the season i know i'm going to have a tough situation going in in in different people's minds of point i'm in central but i knew being positive is isisis quality thing that i can be positive this year and then do the stuff i needed a oncelowly slowly i think the coaches would trust me more in all steve relationships of value.

"You were sort of a god in israel in any way to nineteen you played you'll get a euroleague fine old you would you scored nine points in 12 minutes you um you know you were the guy who made it from that country i don't think people fully understand the magnitude of that on in a country that small but i'm always curious how you go from being the guy but essentially you don't leading the nation in a in a sport to okay now i'm going to be the ultimate role player in the nba like it enormous adjustment how do you approach that we owe you in the beginning you kinda like somewhere in the middle you chonnam make yourself make an influence openly an and kind of find your way within than you realize that there's really talented and really good basketball players here in the nba and and you gotta find ways to complement them in order to play um it's really hard to be the guy in all and do it on a consistent basis and and i don't think there's twenty champioship there's very few guys are on the lead can be the number one guys to win a championship and and uh and they need is foreign cast and and that's why i feel like playing with the warriors are full light comfortable obviously did the way that system is and it's kinda reminds me of what we play back home are going up of moving the ball in cutting playing without the unwanted that the annual gala you felt like really ah prosper in the second half year career he'd need to be as system yeah yeah and and i felt like you know that that's how i grew up line and that's why i felt comfortable from they won in camp that ought this this is this is home for me you know this is this is how i used to play going up uh you know i'm not a a top agai the youth on the bond.
