Jordan Peterson Breaks Down Over Olivia Wilde's 'Insane' Comments
"Know the Canadian psychologist, the bestselling author, Jordan Peterson, it became very emotional in an interview with Piers Morgan when he was asked to respond to the Hollywood director, Olivia Wilde, apparently using him as the inspiration for the villain and her new film don't worry darling, the film that's getting more pressed than any film in the history of the world. So he's been interviewed by Piers Morgan. On his Fox nation, Fox nation show, and he's asked about the comments that she made earlier this month. While she was promoting this movie, like crazy and Olivia Wilde said that this sinister character, played by Chris Pine, who, by the way, looks like a female tennis star from the 80s, with his blond hair that flips up in the back, Chris Pine, get rid of that hair, man. Come on, bro, you're a man. What are you doing? You look like Chrissy Everett. It's so bad. So Olivia Wilde said that this character played by Chris wild was based on Jordan Peterson. She said, we based this character on this insane man, Jordan Peterson, who is this pseudo intellectual hero to the incel community. You know what incels are? Incels are guys that are part of the online community who consider themselves unable to get a girl. They consider unable to attract women sexually, you know, some of them they say have views that are hostile toward women and you know, they're just losers, basically. And for some reason, they think that she thinks that Jordan Peterson is the leader of all these men, which is ridiculous, she said, these men are basically disenfranchised and mostly white men, of course, mention white because how dare you even mention a black man doing something bad, you can't do that. I mean, at this point, your career, how could you talk badly about a black man just keep blaming white men? It's so easy. And no one's gonna get mad at you. You can say white men are pieces of shit, white men want to have sex with their mothers, white men are whatever you wanna say. The vast media will never get mad at you. You say one thing wrong about a black man, you're done, you're finished, you're canceled. So go ahead, kick us around. Livia, wild

AJ Reminisces About His Good and Simple Childhood Days
"Got me thinking about the old age and how promising the future look when we were kids. I'm 60 years old, so I'm talking to you guys who are my age. It was such an innocent and pure time. We had our problems, of course, but by and large, it was an innocent and pure time. The other night I was thinking about how easy and simple life was back in the day and it made me miss so many things from my youth. And I know you can sympathize and empathize with me. You can laugh about it all you want. And I understand not all of us recognize America's recent past as great, but it sure was great for a lot of us. Remember when the person at the bank knew your name? Remember when the gas station gave you dishes and glassware for opening up an account or, you know, getting gas there all the time and they knew you and the more gas you got, you got glassware. Am I the only person that had this happen to them? Can't be. Remember Christmas club accounts at the bank weren't they great? I don't see many families going to get ice cream anymore. Is that still a thing? We used to go to friendlies or the southern giant called jans. Just, I don't see it anymore. I remember a hundred kids in the street playing kickball. Stickball. Ring Olivia. Kick the can. I remember stuff in ten packs of tops baseball cards into my pocket and flipping them between classes. I remember playing spin the bottle in 7 minutes in heaven at parties so we can make out with girls we were really enamored with at school. We used to go to the Woods and maybe go to a nearby swamp and just examine it all day. Sometimes we'd catch frogs or try to hit birds who took flight with sling shots. I know it sounds bad, but you want your kid doing that instead of meeting a guy in the park who's handing up pills that have fentanyl in them, don't you?
Paul Kengor Reflects on the Enchanting Olivia Newton-John
"The director of the institute for faith and freedom at gross city college. Any book with his name on it is worth your time, Paul kangal. Professor kangal. Welcome to America first one on one. 7 two kind and it's always good to be with you. Thank you. All right, I'm gonna throw everyone for a loop right now because I'm talking about the story of the day, the story of the year, probably the story of the decade, but before we analyze that and some potential connections to less democratic systems around the world, you sent me a piece just a few moments ago that a little bit out of your Wheelhouse when I looked originally at the subject, but then I realized why it's important. So why, why did you send me something about Olivia Newton, John professor kango? Yeah, so I wrote a tribute to Olivia Newton-John for American spectator. And I know we're talking about Merrick Garland today and Salman Rashid and Olivia Newton-John. But only one of the three did I have a crush on when I was a 12 year old boy. And I saw you wasn't Merrick Garland or salmon rushdie. And I think that I was representative of a lot of young boys in America around the world. She's Australian, of course. But she was really a remarkable personality. Of course, she did the movie grease in 1978, which I saw at the pioneer drive in and butler Pennsylvania when I was a 12 year old. But she was really a remarkable lady, a remarkable voice, a very charming and happy, contended person. In fact, interesting, Seth, I got an email today. I won't out the guy, but he's an executive director of a prominent foundation, and he told me he said, you know, I read your piece on Olivia Newton-John. She was the kind of girl that every young boy wanted to marry. And it was really the Olivia Newton-John of the kind of strange. I mean, everyone had that crush. I had that crossroad of the same vintage, a very fine vintage, but she wasn't even American. How weird is Apple.

"I think it was like in 2005. Summer of 2005, Olivia and John still looking amazing. Is dating a guy named Patrick McDermott and maybe this maybe you forgot this story, but it's really intriguing. She's dating this guy's a cameraman. He's coming back for an fishing expedition, supposed to dock the boat's supposed to DACA and San Pedro, which is a Long Beach area and after an overnight fishing trip off the coast of LA. And he never gets off the boat. Olivia and John panics tells everybody about it, a search begins on the boat they find his passport. I think his keys, they found some personal items of his, but he's nowhere to be found. The coast guard looks into it and they go, look, he probably fell overboard and he's lost at sea. They searched a little bit, but you know, it was nighttime. It's like, you're not gonna find the guy. And he's pronounced missing. And it was a shattering thing and Olivia Newton-John. You can't imagine a guy wanting to get away from her. Maybe she's a crazy bitch. I don't know, but after years of mourning, the guy who was married to this other woman first, she reaches out to a living Newton John, and they become friends. This whole ordeal has gotten them close because that woman lost somebody, too. And now her and Olivia and John are very tight. And this woman apparently think she's running a memoir. I think she's running a memoir should be coming out soon. That is if she didn't stop writing it, but she had a lot to say and then suddenly comes news from Mexico that this guy has been spotted with some hot blond German chick, so he left his passport behind somehow he got a he had some kind of way to get to Mexico, jump off the boat into a small boat. I don't know what he did. But word is he's been spotted in Mexico, central Mexico, and that's where he's living a very peaceful life with some hot chick that he met. I don't know, but he just decided to split from Olivia Newton-John and not give her the low down. Could you imagine a guy doing that to you ladies

I would say it is the book that brought me the most joy. Okay, in this world. But she has told us that it is best to go and blind. Yes, go on blind. But she wasn't taking her medicine that night and my mom, I walk in and letting us sitting on the counter and my mom's trying to give her the nebulizer, but she just wasn't taking it. And so she turns pale and just passes out on the kitchen counter. Levi runs in because he had just parked the car. He runs in and just immediately he's so good in these situations just starts doing what he had learned of CPR and mouth to mouth and I'm just like all of a sudden realizing, okay, this is a bad situation. I'm praying. It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. And we call 9-1-1. And it's winter in Montana it's December 20th. So the roads are icy and it's snowing outside and it's so the paramedics finally come and come in and take them to the hospital. And I just felt this cold feeling of like, this is not happening and this is not going to end well. I could just feel the grimness in their faces. I think when they were working. And I had asked them while they were working on it and I said, does she have a heartbeat? Does she have a heartbeat? And they said, not right now. And so she was coded non responsive in the house. Is Aaron Rodgers Straight?
"I really can substantiate whether this is an absolute bearding situation, even though I never seem to believe Aaron Rodgers is ever really, truly into any of his girlfriends, whether it was Olivia, was Olivia Munn, what Olivia wasn't. I always forget, mine, Danica Patrick, or Shailene Woodley. I never really none of them look real to me. I mean, Olivia Munn kind of basically told people back when this whole thing went bad on them, that remember she said, one of her boyfriends, a very famous boyfriend, didn't want to go down on her or something. She was, I think she was being very coy and not wanting to name Aaron Rodgers. Listen, I can't substantiate it. I just think I just don't think Adam, I'm just doing Aaron straight. I just don't think he's straight. I don't. Very mercurial, very roundabout, very you can't really kind of pin him down, I think he thinks he has the whole world full like he did with the vaccination, but there's a lot of things off about him. There really are.

Truly amazing that you knew these men. Well we have to go back to the beginnings you know the record business and the business that i was in was primarily run by the boys the boys mafia whatever and that was cool. There are great work for we knew what a position was but they ran everything they own the clubs the only record companies etcetera so when i started beginning success for young I realized who was working for. I realized you know how i was to be myself and i started working to copacabana. Which was the testing ground in new york city. I was successful. And i got the word that now that new york went very well. We're sending out to vegas to the boys and you're gonna work in vegas. So what year are we talking about. And i'm going to do it on national television and i'm going to do dancing with the stars. Ought to be right there with her helping her to tell her story. There's just so much tire knows about controlling that narrative also likes underdog to you know what i mean Yeah but she's she's like okay. This girl she's gone through it like we've been talking about it. She has been crucified for all of the things that she and her parents and whoever advise them did and you know i was a teenage. We were all teenagers once and we didn't make the best decisions all the time but we were on some crazy platform all the time. I mean maybe you guys were not all your rate. Also she was influenced by adults. She didn't make these decisions by herself. So errands told this was the thing to do because again they were advised to do that. And i think. And i said this two and a half years ago when we were talking about this this is starting to rival khloe interest with the amount of time. We've spoken about it. But they're from a very affluent area in los angeles. And i think that was part of the culture where every family was like. We're gonna get our kids in college and this is how you do it. Obviously that way of life is not acceptable and doesn't work in which is why the whole system came crashing down because you can't illegally get your kid into school but i don't think that they were necessarily bad people. I think they made bad decisions. Laurie has done her time. Masato has done his time. Is he still in prison. Urged their time like let the girl. The girl is how old twenty two years old not even like. I just feel like at some point. It's like an know even going to one tires like you know. She needs to tell her side of this. She's got gay clubs at home if you're not like crazy on the other side. Did you hear the story about her emailing him. Nuts fucking wacky man. She back in two thousand fifteen she was like. I'm obsessed with john. Mullane met him at a wedding. I think it was myers wedding. They talking about that on the show last night. 'cause that's where mullany announced that he had a baby if you haven't seen it i don't know if we're allowed won't be allowed to put it in in our you to go watch this. Seth meyers bit where he announces it. It is insanely awkward. She met him at the wedding. She she was like i danced with him and his fiancee all night long. 'cause i'm like obsessed with him and then i emailed him afterwards being like. Hey do you guys want to hang out. And he never wrote back. Probably because i had the wrong email like you probably got the wrong. 'cause his wife was like what the fuck delete that shit right for libya but then also you know that. This is kind of like her celebrity crush almost like her obsession and like the instant that he's divorced. She swoops in and grabs him. And then the instant there together she's pregnant. This is some crazy trick predatory shit. Yeah but like on mullany doesn't even know john laney's in the spin cycle because he's fucking olivia munn and he's getting his brains fucked out in a way that he never even imagined he's wearing the gabe loves and so he's just like along for the ride and she's like now a trap for life. He got an intervention with his friends. Went back to rehab. Which i've read that. He wait a hundred and thirty pounds for. That's crazy town. He also might not. He might not have been that big of a guy to begin with he. Oh he's definitely a skinny guy. He's i think he's done a taller side. Yeah hundred thirty. Pounds is like six tall. I would think he's like a buck sixty though so i don't think like losing. Yeah i guess you probably right. Kylie Jenner Confirms She's Expecting Baby No. 2
"So. The rumors are true. Kylie just confirmed. She's pregnant with baby number. Two she announced it with another sweep video. Kind of like how she told the world. She was pregnant with stormy but this time she didn't wait until the baby was already want. That's how she told her famous fan gene away. Ooh every time. I just loved that. And you know it's so interesting. I know clear blue. Easy is kicking themselves. Ask right now. She's not giving away free. Promo but what i also loved about it as you know she probably would have. Do you think if there wasn't rumors to the point where like peatland had said something. She would've come out with this. I truly believe that she had hit the first pregnancy and it was so isolating and she talked about how lonely. She's about and how afraid she wants to go outside so i don't think that she would do it again. She's not a nineteen year old girl. Right this is not her first time getting pregnant. She knows that the world is going to accept it and her unconventional relationship with travis. Scott so i think she was waiting for the perfect time. I just don't think that she would hit it. The whole time and with the met gala. Come and do you think she wants to do it before they're going. I can't get a read on. Who's actually going to this gal.

But i also there's a part of me that they're going to tell you the crazy shit i don't want to have you go down a rabbit hole because i know you said i think about like do you want to know. Do i knew fuck. No i like the mystery. I don't wanna know know it'd be too afraid has ever quit a job. Yes i don't think so. Just for clarification. She's like i quit. Yeah i think there's got be some lake situation. You're growing up in like working at the mall or something like that when you're growing up resign. I'm outta here like quit like when you walk into work. You weren't expecting on quitting fuck this. I'm out job. She is the difference. I think once in your job. I'm gonna say no she sought through. She finished the shift so to speak. Well plot twist. I've never had a job i i. This is my first job. I was an intern and address shop. When i was eight. And i used to seem rip for justice. That's the job. But i was didn't get paid and i was eight muscle and i didn't quit. It is wild to me like whether it's you or other musicians when you hear like Like you're like writing songs and music that came. I couldn't really awesome. It's pretty random like when you're you've come out and i was excited to learn how to ride a bike. I was excited. I learn how to ride a bike to then you hit like a platinum album. And i was like running track a eric wedge number three. Olivia rather give up social media. Or give up television on on certain for your like your like your entertainment. Thank you for. Yeah so would you. Let's say that like because my career is on social media like someone else could host for me. But i just wouldn't be able to be on your show thrive so that's but like it's sunday night. You're trying to avoid the monday. Scary is and you just want to be entertained. And you could add you tick tock or obviously you'd rather give up social media. I was gonna say then takes as i know everybody talks. I understand that. But i feel like she's talked about mental health and things like that and i know flex my mental health up and you know like i watched sex life last night and while it was like weird still went to bed. Fine like i've gone on to talk and it's just like fucked up my sleep. I don't know it's just me. I think she'd give up social media. But i only because like i wish that i could like. I wish i could so badly and i love. Tv like i base my last project based on like tv and movies. Like it's like it's called episodes and it's like about. I don't know each song has like a john of like. Tv show or movie like related to production wise. Anyway so i love love love tv and shows right now. I'm watching modern family. Which is obsolete so written. The characters are incredible. New girl. fucking love that. Show Every sony tv show. I'm definitely more into tv. Shows and movies..

"The line that i most recall the watching reruns of glee. I've never alexa. Didn't actually came with the daily. Joel eric to. It's probably my favorite thing just trying to make long on represent as much as oddly enough. The lyrics came so fast. I feel like deja vu. Every idea that we came up with was actually kind of like. Oh yeah. let's just go with that. It was like try not to over. Think it i remember. I did write a second. I though the version the chorus then. I went home. Because i was like i wrote a second verse. The next day that was like too serious is the funding of a job. Who is funny and like tongue-in-cheek a little bit and so i remember me writing like a serious. You constant theme sometimes gets serious driver's license the same way like the first bridge for driver's license was so i think we should make it more playful right. I'm very email and he still tells me. I really my favorite thing about working with. Dan is if i write something. That's bad he's like you can do better than that. Don't even entertain the idea. This song was definitely like the hardest song to make some reason. The for the production part was really difficult because also olivia went to salt lake. So like the song wasn't actually finished being written. I think when she left. I prefer when olivia's in the rooms 'cause like she can tell me in real time she likes like a sound or doesn't like the sound there were a lot of moments where like we didn't have like a the right lyric or something in libya would like go in the car. And i'm just saying this into your iphone because it was so difficult with the pandemic get into a recording studio going back and forth in with the song and i think it was also a little difficult for me because i'm very much like a singer songwriter. He ballad type girl in the song is not like that at all. it's like a really cool. Mid tempo pop song and so i think like finding my footing in that genre of music took like a little bit of time and took a little bit of trial.

"Billy joel the way billy joel treated the poor seasons in like this is like my tip of the cap you know the uptown girl is this plot thing and i love your conversation with britney about you know how they talk about how the debris jail thing just kind of happened to the songs. 'cause it's such a mind blowing plot twisting some let's at last here brittany spanish. His conversation with olivia rodrigo and her producer. Deny grow about the creation of the song deja deja did. I wrote this song together. And like the end of august twenty twenty. I think we're actually like trying to write another sadder song and it wasn't working so dan was like one other ideas. Do you have in my notes app on my phone and i was like all of these poems and like just like weird song concepts and one of the little hook lines that i had was When she's with you get deja vu. I just think deja deja vu all the time and i think it's like a really interesting phenomenon and so i thought it would be a cool way to talk about deja-vu to talk about like when you break up with someone and they move on. Sometimes you've watched them on social media or whatever and they're living the same life that like you lived with another partner that can be sort of frustrating. And i feel like that's a really like universal relatable thing that doesn't really get talked about a ton and so. I thought that would be cool. Way to talk about deja vu and like relationship. Let's see maybe like half for like seventy five percent of the songs that are on my project and that we make together i sort of. We'll right like a verse and a chorus. And dan will help me. Finish it in polish it up but deja who actually wrote that together like i i said i its right something with when she did you get deja-vu when we sort of created that cla world together and wrote all the lyrics and melody together. I think dan actually came up. I think you came up with malibu thing. Yeah you said now. And when i was like oh i see that and it was like. What's your favorite ice cream strawberry through analysis. Strawberry ice cream in boo. Don't act like we did in do ought to clean.

"In no more damn sociopaths. It's going to be beautiful thing. I think that this is a real step in the right direction for the future. I'm super excited about all the kids. Who are hearing libyan rebel now and you know writing their own songs in their head. The way olivia did when she heard. Taylor is a little girl and dare is stopped in the past that we can use to address right now and olivia's at a brilliant artist who's using it new brilliant totally original and i think going to be hugely influential way. I think also. We can't underestimate. So much of the reason why i called the generation like. I think there's a lot of political anxiety. Climate anxiety social anxiety We have a lot of people like olivia who gun graduated in the middle of pandemic either from high school or college and like are suddenly thrusted into the world as adults at a very unprocessed time for everyone you know and i can see that anxiety that anger very specifically manifesting itself even more so in music over the next few years from young artists. Because we're seeing that so much now. Like i spent so much time in tech talking so many of the video like a lot of kids are just like sad and angry and kind of just like this is what it is like the just like sucks and you know. I think there's a lot of that coming out in the music. And i think that's going to be expressed even more as time goes on and we get more artists like a livia coming out and coming through and again racing. That was like billy to like that. Music has a lot of angst and a lot of sadness. And i think we're going to be seeing that a lot. More from really young artists who are just manifesting that and again like ponkin and sort of being able like scream out things like good for you. I hope you're happy and healthy. Not me like stuff like that is going to be super prevalent. Need to call out. Sociopaths will always be there as well a minute. We're going to play britney's interview with olivia and her producer. Dan negro about the making of the song deja vu. And i'm going gonna ask you set that up. I did want to say another thing. We've never addressed that because just so silly as people not only of course beyond declaring rock dead people declared pop dead and pop singers dead. Which is preposterous. You know obviously like hip hop deserves to rule the world and will continue to do so. But there's always gonna be room for pop songs like that's just i think the the idea that could just like disappear is so absurd to me that i don't even know if we need to. Even i think that's all that this just proves how completely absurd that was. That was just a very premature obituary. Brennan maybe setup this clip and talk a little bit about that particular some because we actually didn't yet. So that's perfect. So i did an interview with libyan dan few months ago like sour was i think just announce deja-vu was about to come out and we spoke from our studios. They were kind of putting the finishing touches on sour about deja-vu and about the making of it and sort of dug into all the deep cut lines talked about Taylor's impact on the saw a lot of just like really fun while tidbits about how they had never seen glee and just decide to throw in that. Billy joel line last minute. But yeah we we dug into the nitty. Gritty of the making up deja vu. Which is super fun and bernie before we go to your great interview. We have to talk about something that they revealed in this interview kind of obvious. Which is the influence of cruel summer by taylor swift on the shoddy part of that song. Libya's is influenced both by the talking parts of texas songs and the sites. The best parts absolutely stand knows she is inherited the ability to have awesome talking parts and screaming parts but in this case the screaming part she after your interview. She went as far as to give songwriting credit. This is the second time this happened on the album to tell jack. Antonoff the saint. Vincent who've wherever forgets that worked on on summer. So why do we think that. She gave that critics. I seriously doubt that. Like taylor's people were were pressing her to do. So yeah so. The other credit is one step for three steps back. Which appropriately has the the one in three the infamous thirteen from swifty and more and that's sort of interpolate the piano part from day and so that was on the album on the album credits for the album. Came out and with deja vu. Spoken about it actually. The video came out the week after. Deja-vu came out. But the interview would happen if you before and it was like the first thing i had noticed with the stream rows like this reminds me so much of the screaming parts in cruel summer which is like such a great bridge and olivia had her first interactive. Taylor was actually her covering cruel summer. I believe like in two thousand twenty two thousand eighteen or something so she talked about how sort of that screaming part was kind of you know not screaming but like more like yelling ridge. Portion was a big inspiration for her to do the same for the bridge in vu. And i'm sure it's just kind of just like probably illegal thing i think there's been so many comparisons with her music. Like paramore and elvis costello. And i i think like for her to give credit to taylor was probably just you know wanted to just not have any trouble down the line..

"I want to return to the success of good for you as rob pointed out. It's a huge number. One song and that is really significant in part because it has loud distorted guitars on it and travis barker who would know better than anyone what the parameters are for commercial pop punk influenced music right now was even recently still under the impression that if you put loud distorted guitars on a song that it can't really be played on pop radio that's something that raya programmers. They've actually put up a wall against. I've heard that from other people over the last few years that that's they think that's nineties. They think that you know signifies something that they are no longer want to be involved with and here we have on this so blatantly in proudly uses that sound and rock so hard and awesomely and it's the number one song that is significant. I would say don't you think yeah. I mean there's atvs also there's a like a rock band blowing up to the top you on spotify or like good for you and like all these songs by mon- skin who won the eurovision seventies glam rock. It's like people just like our into it right now. Where does it go from here. Because this is one of the everything obviously sped up now and i think that's the other thing we're seeing is just like the speed with which this happened strikes me as fairly incredible. So what are your predictions for the future. Not even with the levy retriever. What's going to happen over the next five years in geopolitically socially i think rob you can tell us okay. Olivia becomes eligible to run for president in the twenty thirty six election. And i'm already calling you know swift rodrigo change. We can believe.

This is actually the second time already that we've had a chance to talk about olivia. We were pretty early talking about her on episode in february which also delved into the greatest debut songs of all time and i think some people were like really. They're already putting her with the best debut songs of all time. And aren't they a little too excited about this artists with one song and those people were wrong. We were right. Hey because you know her album. Sour is just a you know provides a plethora of delights. She is basically the biggest new artist of the year. there is unfortunately a country guy. Name morgan wallin. Who is perhaps best known for uttering a racist slur and he technically topped the sales equivalents charts over libya. I would recommend check out our colleague. Amex wings piece about that. And how no one really wants to reckon with that. But she's right. No must reckon with that. I don't want to reckon with that. We're gonna talk regard 'cause we liked her better. That is our right so it just seemed like a good time. Part of it of course is that olivia was in the white house this week. And what charming visit. That was very much in the vein of elvis presley. getting a vaccination back in the day. She came out there and told everyone to get a vaccination young people to get a vaccination and was very poised there on the podium in an incredibly iconic outfit to yes please white pumps the very clueless plaid suit like clueless. Elwood's just kind of you know in the white house it. There's a lot of tweets about house very much like a new rom com a new white house rom com was like about ten merge. We've broken all the trouble way. But i'll say that i hit you with a smile. We have not as of yet said perhaps the most important adjective about the olivia rodrigo album and roll out and that adjective swiftian. We have not talked about. This is sort of made the joke in my piece at it's The taylor debut refracted through red. It's really like the accelerated course. You know it's just like the kids can understand computers. Why faster than i ever could. That's what this feels like. Sista i also have a. This isn't a hot take. This is a conspiracy theory. it's thrown out there. Okay bath go for it. It's really it's dark though. Okay so just i want. What a preface this by saying. It's dark okay and ready to work with me. Two or three steps. The two steps deja comes out. Arabize lake That really sounds like cruel summer. Those chance right kind of rhythmic. Chance the the multi-track chance and she actually said she like directly attributed did okay. I didn't yeah okay just more fodder for my theory okay. Now there's no taylor swift song writing credits for that. That's just a mode. However i'm sure taylor takes notice of it. I'm sure taylor is in touch with olivia. Taylor's teams and touch libya's team and there's something a little to borrow we about it. And so maybe part of the reason that there is an actual taylor swift interpolations and writing credit on What's the song that yes that actual writing credit is kind of. Maybe a make good away to kind of like for libya formalize the inheritance and for everybody to be peaceful in their aesthetics and their paperwork pure conspiracy theory. I'm sure it's bonkers. However i couldn't help but think about it when i saw that there was an actual taylor swift writing credit on us. And that's what made me think. Some people control their narratives. Taylor is one of them. I i think. I kind of disagree. Not just because she from day one has been so vocal about her admiration for taylor swift out like she did so much process record. I didn't even get to all of it. I'm sure and i think she. She must reference taylor swift like a dozen times or more so in terms of giving her credit where credit is due like. She hasn't not done that. And i don't know that the actual literal sample on on one song is what was needed to to make abundantly apparent that she's influenced by taylor swift..

They're going to go out there and doing amazing things and that's why motherhood and fatherhood matters and what you said. There was beautiful the it's a gift wrapped in perfectly there and. I can't even trying to extradite there's nothing to add to it. It's just exactly what it needs to be said. So Olivia, where's the best place for people to connect with the soldier for life podcast? People not knowing how to cast. You think he has a white man of color. White Man of a man of color. He's just a man of. He just doesn't know who his dad is, but he knows that like these black black bright, and not any, and he had a black stepfather growing up like that's how I thought yeah, yes, he grew up in a very mixed family with the stepfather and a half sister. He has a biological twin brother. He didn't know his father His stepfather was a future professor. And so he was sort of like a Jason to the theater scene, but he has like that's not what I'm about. I'm about break, dancing and graffiti. And the story that he presents is that he and some friends broke into. A space to try to vandalize. It threw up some tags and it turned out. It was a theater. Thank God and rather thank God getting angry reporting on these street toughs. The owner of the. Why don't you come acting? Wow, extended the hand and then got the bug. This is the magic of the. Leader is that's magic to do you know against Pippen, so? He's like a theater guy. He's auditioning all the time, but no one knows where to place him what he is. What type he is doesn't really exist, so he makes multi facial, which is his short film about not knowing how to get cast I voice TV. Spielberg says a minute sees the film Akon Vin goes to con-. Imagining Young Vignette Con. It is maybe the greatest thing like does he speak French like it? Does he try? Yeah I'll be at the best trip of his life absolute. I'm sure he did because the result was still booby. Do BOOB BE? Wait. Sorry. Hold on, hold on. Hold on your. Hollywood, we gotta put pause on saving pr because that he's got to rewrite the script. Put Vin de open up a space we got. We got to make space for vent yeah. But the other thing that's happening around this time he he makes a feature film called strays. That is okay. It is very much post multi facial, which is such of just like her Shnell like the primal scream strays is very much. A strategic makes the rights Iraq. And it's very much a strategic I want to show people the way I'm a movie star. Yay As opposed to the very personal expression. Thing it's it's fine. It's fine. He makes that. He has a serious I mean at this time like the years the wilderness he's working as a bouncer. One of my favorite videos on Youtube because I'm a real connoisseur videos is he worked at the New York toy fair where they would have struggling actors do the showcases of the toy products to buyers from big box stores, and there's a video of VIN diesel in a leather vest, a demonstrating that years line of street sharks action figures well which for listeners who might remember street sharks. It was the Post Ninja Turtles. What if sharks were tough and roam the streets? Walk they walk legs and the really big bright. Skinny legs big upper bodies. Scars Ideal Man. They're kind of Proto VIN diesel. Took a look at that body. I've got some thoughts riff on this body like twenty-five VIN diesel with one earring in a leather vest, really hot to me smashing these action figures together, and at one point he refers to a character as a round mountain to pound. Thank you, which is on Mount Her Hound. Take that theater cloud. That's play I'm just establishing some footnotes for example extended, you know. After the episode second screen experience, pull up some of these. This is good. Okay, so he makes strays. He gets them private. Ryan he does giants right I enjoy. It happens and all this stuff sitting around the same time boiler room. He gets cast a play one of the henchman I, think for. Gary sinise. Reindeer. Games clough. Torres Lee bad. Like everyone involved with disowned. And John Frankenheimer director says so in this scene I. Want you to have your shirt off. You come in. You're like intimidated Ben. Affleck and Vin diesel says no I'm not GONNA do that. and He John Frankenheimer said what do you mean and Vin diesel said? and. I found this out years later and I think I was converted onto at this point, but if there was a moment where it was just clear, I was GonNa ride or die for this guy? This is the story. Vince says John Frankenheimer I only take my shirt off for Vin. Diesel Movies Holy Shit Right. God and that's incredible so good and he says what the fuck are you talking about? Like call your shot. It was just like the point eight. That's crazy right and he's notorious. The Guy has kick started his career after years of being unhittable being supporting actor after making a short film about how no one knew how to cast him, and now he's saying none enough I. Know I'm a movie star I. Normally, man, I'm saving something Special I. God I only take my shirt offer vin diesel movies and he's like you either. Take your shirt off, or you're fired. VIN diesel gets fired from reindeer game. Wow, and then you know hitch black. Of these? Movie. That's what he meant. Hagans takes his shirt off. Like happens within two months. He said buy. Bitch Riddick Yeah see you later Toronto me. So, then fasten I two thousand one right and it really. Off to the races. This is when he starts to get on my radar because my brother and I are both going off to sleep away camp. My mom drops off. The movie theater says you can see one movie together. You have to decide what it is and I'm going hard for Dr Doolittle two. And my brother James He really wants to see fast and furious. Dome Boy Shit cars. I don't want to see this. Just want to chuckle. I want to check in with the Doctor A. You to make an appointment my yearly checkup. Okay. But I sit there and I watched this movie. He wins the argument. My brothers very persuasive. And at the end the movie I go. This. Movie starts. Can I say something that shows me that nothing's more important than familiar. I'm just what I I mean I wouldn't even. Her brother had a nice Rona. Yes. No eleven and thirteen. Legal most. At fast and furious children's. Corona sure. But. Fast and I I am furious. Is Universal was all in on Paul Walker and they were like we want to develop a vehicle around. You can be anything you want. And he finds this article about l., A. Street racing, and then like, but I don't feel confident being the guy in a movie I'd only want to make this happen if it's a two hander, so they go. Oh Great! We know exactly what to do. It's you and it's so clear who the other movie star is! It's Timothy Elephant..

Time anyway we will be making those like Raglan. T shirts that say what does it team I? o I o nations. Head yeah, and mine says I'm a warrior of I O nation. So it's really long, and it's really difficult, and probably your shirts will sell more because they are just better shirts. Sure, but that's so is the thing you know. My name is a burden on the way. Oh, who did you play on studio sixty on the sunset trip? Monitor. The? Performance Yeah so good in that blast. For years I really did the damage to my spine, perfect example, though of like a performance that I think didn't get enough credit because the writing was bad. You know people couldn't see how much you were doing with what you were given. Thank you. They were blaming you. Talk to inside. It's hard to act. I'm doing my. Car. Hard isn't gonNA. Redo? It's the hardest thing anyone has ever thank on. Thank you and I don't think there's enough I I was GONNA say empathy, but honestly the word is sympathy. Access to go through in our culture thing which we talked about all the time. I'm always very grateful. When an actor and especially in my mind, a man will go to the press and talked about the difficulties of becoming somebody else. Queue for a few days a week and I and I'm grateful for the challenges. What's even more stunning than that. Tell me when someone wins and award. From playing a character after spending months talking about how far they push themselves to the edge, how difficult it was, and then after they win the award, a journalist asked them so, what was it like getting into character and the person's like I'm not gonNA. Talk about it's over over over time. I can't believe you're even asking me this. They're just clowning on you. It's really good. I think that's good and. Again. That's where the magic happens. People ask me like and I'm sure. They asked to view this as well all the time, but do you dream of winning and award someday honestly means to an end. I just want to get to that press. If that's what it takes, Gimme some hardware. If that's the key that opens the door, give me love hardware. Let me. Lot Of. Duck and a we've got everyone fires off their best joke. They're just.
