Lt. Col. Oliver North (Ret.) Reacts to the Mar-a-Lago Raid

"North, your new book, I'm on it, launches today. You've got to get it. It's the giant awakes. It's about this FBI tough guy, one of the good FBI agents, Jake Cruz. It's a classic classic thriller. But I have to ask you, given what we've witnessed in the last ten days in America, and I love I've worked closely with the FBI for years. Some of the best guys there are former marines, lots of marines in the bureau, but how do you react to the events at Mar-a-Lago? Are you as horrified as I am? Oh, absolutely. I mean, it's unprecedented. I know that this afternoon they released some redacted portions of the so called affidavit that led to the raid, I very quickly let students before we sat down. I don't see anything in it that justified what took place. What I believe is about to happen said, is it probably right after the beginning of the final phase of the campaign for 2022. You're going to have a press conference held by the attorney general and probably the director of the FBI that announces that in the documents that they seized, they found evidence of a crime and the crime was remember, this was a fishing expedition. This wasn't going after a specific document. Here's what's kind of like the old days with a special prosecutor. I know, give us the man. This is right out of the communist doctrine. Give us the man. We'll find a crime.

Big Tech Censorship With Alex Berenson

"Going to read something to you that is truly shocking. It's an internal document, a communication on something called the slack platform from inside Twitter. And it's real and it's about a journalist. And it is about The White House wanting to take action against the journalist. They quote, they, The White House, wants to know about Alex berenson and the Slavic COVID adviser, suggested that they have seen data that he was the epicenter of disinformation towards the persuadable public. That description of what was going on inside of Twitter is chilling. And we are delighted to have with us the man who won his fight, at least one this battle against the censorious owners of Twitter, mister Alex berenson investigative journalist par excellence, welcome back to America first. Thanks for having me, Seth. All right, so I know you won a settlement, the courts served you well. But tell us what happened to you and your Twitter account and what you found out had been done with the collusion of The White House. Sure. So I will just say quickly before I go into the full story, that isn't actually the worst communication that we found so far. Go ahead. The worst one is another discussion on a Twitter slack channel against slack is something that employees at big companies use to talk to each other internally. Where they again reference this meeting that they had at The White House in April 2021. And in the language, I don't have the communication directly in front of me, but it almost says verbatim, they wanted to know why Alex berenson had been kicked. Oh, oh, oh, I'm sorry. That's the other part of the article that I highlighted. Okay, hang on. Let me give you the words right here because he's working off memory. Then this is the report of the discussion with The White House. They had one really tough question about why Alex berenson hasn't been kicked off the platform that Twitter employee wrote. Yes. Yes. And I expect I'm going to have more to report in the near future. And I expect that as soon as this practical, I'm going to be suing The White House and Andy slavitt,

Trump's Attorney Christina Bobb Describes Tension During the FBI Raid

"You are very professional, very diplomatic. However, from another source, I have heard that it got rather, let me say this heated, the behavior of the FBI was less than respectful to the office of the person whose home they were raiding. Did it get somewhat tense that day? Yeah. Yeah, it did. Initially, when I first got there, of course, I was heated. I was somewhat aggressive demanding to see the warrant and wanting an explanation for why they were there. They responded in like kind. And so yes, initially it was very heated. Neither of us wanted to create anything worse than what we were already experiencing. So it didn't get further than colorful exchange of words and kind of posturing and it only lasted for a minute or two with the FBI. It quickly calmed down and everything was fine. You know, the Department of Justice, the assistant U.S. attorney on site that I spoke to. It's the same type of thing. We were both kind of posturing trying to hold our ground and keep as much ground as we could in the situation. The AUSA made sure that I knew they had every right to do whatever they were doing. And that's all. Switching off cameras, not giving badge numbers, absolutely outrageous. That is the FBI's behavior.

Sebastian Talks to President Trump's Attorney Christina Bobb

"An eyewitness to what happened at Mar-a-Lago last week. She is an attorney to my former boss president Trump, Christina bob. Welcome to America first. Thank you so much. I'm so excited to be here. All right, so let's do a sanity check. You're gonna be our verification. This is a former FBI agent called Stuart Kaplan, who gives us his understanding of what happened at Mar-a-Lago, cut 8 play cut. We know through her own statements, she was restricted and kept out if Christina bob was allowed to come in, she would have said, hey, guys, what are you looking for? Let me make your life a lot easier. Here are the documents here in the boxes. Be on your way and leave. I can only conclude one thing, Dan. The fact that they would prevent a council or a lawyer or the target of a search warrant to be prevented from watching just as a bird's eye view and keep in mind, I understand officer safety. We don't want to let anybody impede or obstruct the search. But it would always be one reason. And that stand because they came in there, not really knowing what the hell they were looking for. It was a fishing expedition. They went through everything. They rifled through everything and they were hoping they were going to find some smoking gun. No, I don't know if you're like a triple quadruple black belt in ninjutsu, maybe you're a super dangerous person to 300 pound FBI agents in ceramic plated bulletproof vests. But what actually happened? Is that true were you kept out of the building? How did the raid go down? Give us a blow by blow, please, Christina, as eyewitness. Yeah, he was exactly right. I arrived on scene after I got a phone call that the FBI was braiding Mar-a-Lago, and I needed to respond so I got down there about ten 30. They had been there for a while, so I'm guessing they got their maybe 9 o'clock, probably no earlier than 8 o'clock in the morning. And I reached out to the FBI agents in charge there and I said, you know, I want to see a warrant. They pushed back. They originally didn't even want to let me see the warrant. We fought for I got to stop you here. I'm no lawyer. I'm no longer, but even if you're going into a crack house, my understanding and correct, I know I'm an immigrant. I only became an American citizen in 2012. My understanding is you must show the front page of a warrant to the person whose property you are rating. Am I wrong on that? Right. That's my understanding as well. And of course, I made that argument loud and clear

The Heritage Foundation's Mark Morgan Reacts to Biden's Vaccine Policies

"Cause. We're back with heritage senior distinguished fellow. You can join heritage with heritage, Mark Morgan, former commissioner for the Trump administration for CBP. He served in the military. He's served in the FBI. He has, well, he is, 'cause marines never really retire. There is no such thing as an ex marine. So gonna get your response Mark. This is Oliver North another great marine who had something to say about people in the military being punished because I guess their body isn't their body anymore. Cut 11. Well, if you start discharging people that we need in the service, right now, the army is paying the maximum premium that they can to recruit people into the United States Army. This is not the time to be throwing people out of the army just because they would not take this vaccine. I don't see how that improves readiness whatsoever. And Congress had to stand up and say, you can't do it. We reported last week air force officer officially reprimanded on her record by her commander because despite being allergic to the vaccine, she she's not allowed to say I can't take it. So as a former marine as somebody who has served this nation for decades, your reaction to these policies from the Biden administration. Yeah, I tell you what. I'm right with former lieutenant Carl Oliver North. I think he's right on this. I think it does not enhance our readiness. I think it erodes the readiness. And I got to tell you, I know these individuals. Some of these have dedicated ten, 15 years of their life, all of us in faithful service to this country. They sacrifice a lot. Their families have sacrificed a lot. And this, at the end of the day, some of them have served in a war zone, have sacrificed so much and this is what they utilize to kick them out of the military. It's nonsensical. It's talk about unpatriotic.

"Good luck on your next interview coming up. I really appreciate it. Thanks for coming. Happy birthday to you. Man, I was excited to have him on the show. My thoughts for this, it was too short and my apologies for that, but he had hard stop aging. We actually lost about 15 minutes of potential conversation. Because of a technical difficulty trying to get connected. We had trouble connecting for whatever reason. But I was so glad he came on. He was here to talk about we didn't fight for socialism, America's veterans speak up. As a veteran as a fireman core officer, I truly appreciate that. I know all my peers that are veterans, this idea of socialism really is a top priority for us. And I do not consider this a negotiable thing to me it's not liberal versus republic conservative or Republican versus Democrat or left versus right. It really is against two ideologies that historically, there's really no argument at which one's better. I'm gonna always stand for individual liberty, self determination, free enterprise, personal responsibility, and equal opportunity. I'm all for that and socialism does not provide that historically has never provided for that. Socialism always leads to tyranny corruption and despotism everywhere. And that's what we're up against. And so part of this and part of the show is to you heard me say, make the place better than you found it. If you're going to do that, we have to we have to embrace life liberty in pursuit of hap. So there's no other way. It's non negotiable. Non negotiable, so some people are afraid to talk about it because in this day and age, you get labeled, you know, a right winger or a trumper or whatever you're racist or a white supremacist, all of that is horse shit. So to me, it's non negotiable. Freedom or socialism. I'm always gonna go for freedom. That's my take guys. Let me know what you think. Hope you're finding some value in this show. Let me know what you think..

"And it's open to proverbs. Why? Because there's 31 proverbs, and there's 31 days and most months. So today being the 10th of November, if it was one of the kids birthdays instead of years in mind, because of the Marine Corps, I would say startup proverbs tent and give me a book report when you get back to proverbs 9. And I want a book report. And then the next thing that defined on these Bible is a compass and a map sheet. Remember land navigation? Here you go. Engineer steak, welded Hamel box number inside the box. And I teach them how to do that, because someday the GPS system ain't going to be there. Because the communist Chinese are going to knock it out of the sky. It's so true. The third thing in there is that 20 gauge shotgun. It's a Remington 8 70. It's a pump gun. And it's a youth gun because it's got a youth stock. I don't put a long run on later. It's 20 gauge so it's not going to knock him over. I'm going to teach you how to take it apart and put it back together, how to clean it, how to safely shoot it, how to hit a bit of clay pigeon with it. And then I'll take you out honey. So you can eat, right? You can eat what issue. So those kinds of things I learned from others, but I've used them in my family to great success. And I hope I've taught some other families out of whether the storms that are out there. Because this is a tough time. It is. If you got a teenage kid right now, you look at what they're up against. And in the public schools here in Virginia, we've been told boys and girls can use the same same restrooms because there's no pronouns of male female. I mean, it's nuts, because we got a crazy governor and we've up until now. We're going to fix that in January. Richard is great to be with you buddy. You're a great American. I would love to bring you back. There's so much more to explore with you. But guys, the book is we didn't fight for socialism all over north in writing partner David two great marines. I really enjoyed the book Ollie because like you said you're basically hearing from the vets. And so it's like you were speaking my language. I think something that we need to look at. "Constitutional, I beg to differ. It's not all I am, and you are Richard of guys that raised our right hand, took an oath to support and defend the constitution the United States against all enemies foreign investor, bear true faith in allegiance to sing. We took that oath believing that what we were defending is that constitution. And the constitution is now being, if you will, salami sliced. Yeah. I had an administration in Washington that doesn't seem to understand it. That's dangerous. It is dangerous and what I appreciate about this book is that you basically gave voice to the veterans. I mean, that's really what the book is about. That's what I love the unique approach to it because you're letting the veteran speak up and myself as a veteran and I know these in fact I was talking to him old went to high school with him and he graduated from the naval academy in 91. So we've got commissioned about the same time. No idea how old that makes me fine. I am old. He went to his 30 year reunion at the academy just last two weeks ago when he was telling me how many they were like, God, I don't know if I want to send my son here. I don't want to send my son here, which is sad, right? And it really made me sad to think that. And I don't know. I think it's time to speak truth, truth or truth, and I'm kind of tired of I'll be blunt with you. I have four daughters and I lost one of my daughters to this kind of political ideology. Like she's a strange yourself from the family because of she's 22. And she kind of bought into all of this stuff. So it's very personal for me. Somebody would believe some of this stuff and how you know, I don't like getting labeled anymore of like, well, you don't understand. No, I'm here to seek to understand. I'm here to tell all the truths. And I think you're the same way. If we tell all of our truths, warts and all, when you see the whole picture, you can not, in my opinion, look at the United States and say, what a wonderful country because all the stuff that was put in place by these flawed men, they were great men, but they were flawed, but because of the simple things of like Thomas Jefferson saying where he was going to take from the Magna Carta saying, you know, all free men are created equally said, no, we got to take free out of there and put all men. He intentionally did that as bad as people like to well, he was fathered a child from a slave and all this up, but he set the stage, right? So that all the stuff could happen. And it bothers me that people don't see it that way. Let me give you a little encouragement. Betsy and I 53rd anniversary coming up here in a few days. And the good lord blessed us with a daughter, a son, a daughter daughter, okay? I know exactly what you mean by the youngest. Okay. During if you're listening, listen carefully. Okay. So here's the good news. I would go to, you know, I probably did miss half by what have my marriage. Okay, go on. In the marines. And covering wars and things like that. Which I look back on I missed a lot. We now have 18 grandkids. Wow. Okay. 11 boys 7 girls. And I'm now seeing things in my grandkids are grandchildren that I never saw because I was never around when the kids were being raised. So here's the good news. On all three daughters didn't happen with our son. All three daughters, there was a moment in time when I went out the door as the oracle at Delphi. I knew more. They could ask me any question and I had the answer. How to put that wheel back on the bicycle. How to pump up the tire. Whatever it was, how to build the dollhouse. But and I came back in the door that afternoon in the evening, probably the next morning when I saw them. And I was the idiot. The village idiot. The same guy that had been the Oracle adelphi one is now here's the really good news. Eventually, lord will and they find good husbands. But most importantly, once they've start having children, they come back. Yeah. And all of a sudden you're the oracle at Delphi again. Their politics may not be entirely the way it was before. But they're back in the fold. And that's happened with all three of our daughters and we are blessed to have you and I both know people very successful by the definitions of our culture, which means money. And the right kind of car, the right kind of house, the right kind of swimming pool and all that. The fact is they know you've heard me say it a couple of times that the company you keep defines who you are. You and I were blessed to be able to keep company with marines. And what happens in many, many families that are deemed to be quote successful or prosperous even is they got really screwed up kids. And we don't. I mean, in large part, because their mom raised them right. You know, military based schools, parochial schools, Christian schools, homeschool. We did it all. We moved 9 times in 22 years. Yeah. I mean, if you think about it, that jerks kids out of their socks, man. And our kids turned out to be great. That's why we ended up with 18 grandkids. There's a wonderful passage. I don't want to run out of time on us. But there's a the 14th birthday is the only birthday in which I just get to give a presence and it's the president is a box, but that big. There's a note on the top of the box that says if you learn to use everything in this box, you'll never go hungry. You'll never be lost and you need fear nothing. And I will show you how. That's why I get to give the present. Open up and now, of course, it used to be a surprise. But now with all the kids have seen it and they're waiting for it. First thing to take out of the box, cut me the holy Bible, right? Here's mine right.

"Because those guys kept calling us, both David and I are marines. David gets his incredibly talented writer. And they started calling us in large part. It was political. But they were talking about the reasons why they did not want their kids to go serve in our military. And that's alarming to me. So he and I went back and started re interviewing some and going out and finding others whose focus is right there in this book and that's we didn't fight for socialism. And what they're saying is whether they serve three years or 30 years, they're concerned about the direction our country is going. I hope I'm not trying to be blatantly political, but I'm here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We just straighten things out for a little time. Yeah, that's right. 12 years. And we've now got a governor elect who understands the reasons why we have what we're doing in our culture about the democratic process. It's not a democracy. Our country's a constitutional republic to represent Republicans. Exactly. And so what they've got, we have a democratic process that gets us there. And this is a man who has never been in politics before. And beat a screaming leftist who was trying to get reelected as governor because in Virginia, you can't succeed yourself. But Patrick Henry taught us, you can get reelected after somebody else has been there. So I look at those kinds of things that we're doing now in Virginia, where we stand a good chance I hope in 2022 of taking both the House and the Senate. I hope that they're good Republicans and not just rhinos. I'm going to go out and campaign for some. In fact, I'm going to be in California next week. Campaigning for young former marine. Of course there are no formal rates. But a young marine was now out of the service who's running for office. So and I want to just encourage people, don't just think about running for Congress or the senator, president or governor. Start out with your school board. Your county board is supervisors. Your city council, because that's where bad decisions are being made all the time that lead to even worse decisions being made at the national government level. And so my hope is that what the result of what we're doing right now is encourage people. Because the guys in this book we're talking about. Encourage people to go out and serve their country or their community or their state or the local jurisdiction of some kind. In some capacity, you don't have to strap on a gun and a badge and put the arm around with Velcro, which what you need to do is get engaged in the process so that we end up with good people at every level of government in this country. Yeah, I kind of took a break this summer from my show. I was kind of like, where is this show going? I was kind of getting frustrated with it. And I've stared away from politics for the most part. People know who listen to show that I am conservative. But I do think something in lost the ability to have intelligent discussions from all shades of opinion, which, as you were growing up in the 60s, it seemed it happened. I remember my parents friends, they were Kennedy Democrats and Nixon Republicans and they played bridge and they would give each other hell. But they loved each other. And that's been lost. And what I appreciate what you did with your book here. Is that I do think what's right is right, unqualified truths or truce no matter how you look at it. And the further that a society drifts from the truth, which I think we have in large measure, the further that we drift away from the truth, the more the more it will hate those that speak the truth. Does that make sense? And so that's why I think and I'm kind of tired of being quiet about the trues of liberty equality freedom and dignity. Which were ingrained in the founding of this country. And it's almost like you can't even talk about liberty equality freedom and dignity without being labeled, you know, old school racist, ideologue or something, and I'm like, how can that be? And for me, when you look at all of these things where people were injustices have happened throughout our history, to me, it's like, what more do you need than the Bill of Rights in the declaration of independent? Because that's what all the great disruptors in our society did. Frederick Douglass picked up the Bill of Rights and said, explain to me how I don't fit in this. And when you approach it that way, nobody you can't argue against it, right? Yeah. And so what bothers me is we got this small minority of people who want to dismantle all of that and rebuild it. That's what's frightening to me. Well, unfortunately, we now have people who have that belief in the top level of our government. I know. I mean, if you look at what's transpired over the course of the last it's not even a year yet. And the elimination of all the kinds of things that made us great. And I'm not ascribing this particular president to be an evil person. I don't believe he's got all his mental faculties. Someone else around him is giving him terrible advice. I mean, if you believe, and I do believe that newly and Mackenzie were telling the truth when they testified in both the House and the Senate armed services committees that they recommended, in the case of Afghanistan now, they recommended that U.S. forces remain until the last Americans were gone. That they keep Bagram in several other cases with a maximum number of 2500. Most of whom would have been marines. Yeah. And hang on to what we've got there until everybody is safely gone. I believe that they gave him that advice. Someone even, whether he's mental faculties or there or not, someone near to him is giving him contrary advice and is damaging to the United States. Absolutely. Afghanistan is a disaster that's we're going to feel for decades. I remember Saigon. Saigon was awful in 1975. Not nearly as bad as this. There are thousands and thousands of Americans, people who helped Americans interpreters. The Turks as we call them over there. They were the Turks. And thankfully, we got ours out. The guys that I worked with, we got them out. Someone before and most of them afterwards. In looking at what's transpired since then, the damage that's being done to our country. The disavowal of the very kinds of liberties that you and I cherish. We have the government of the United States, telling private employers, you have to fire people who don't get this injection. And there's now going to be a new osha regulation. It's probably going to pass both houses in Congress. And at that point, it becomes a law. It's not just an executive order. Think about what that means that the government of the United States is going to order a private employer. Let's pick an airline, right? Or anybody who's got more than a hundred employees. And that includes many small businesses. The small businesses are defined by the SBA as 500 or less..

"My wife thanks, you know, kids, thank you. Yeah. But the reality of it is most people think gosh hiring guy in the military walking in off the street, he's going to go postal on me. Yeah. It's much more likely that someone who is postal goes postal, then a U.S. Marine has been in combat. There is such a thing as post traumatic stress. The corpsman that saved my life in Vietnam was subsequent terribly wounded, shard of an 82 millimeter mortar round went into his head stuck out of his helmet about as big around as my little finger. And strolling there after he was terribly that's the wound he had. He taking care of my second chest wasn't already. And I thought he was dead. And I years later, I was over covering the war. I think I was in Iraq by then. I had said something on air about PTS. In fact, I said, post traumatic stress disability. PTSD. And I will, while I was overseas, Mike secretary, my executive system. Marcia fishbowl, God bless her. 27 years she spent with me. Think about that. The poor woman, she's the same. Her husband, her husband, dear friend, three tours is an army helicopter pilot, and in between each tour overseas in the war. He'd come back and teach people how to fly, something you were doing at one point in your life. At fort Rucker, right? And so Dave came back because he was exposed to so much agent orange he ended up with non Hodgkin's lymphoma. Beat it, which is very rare because it needs its advance. Most people will make it. He did make it. Now as ALS, Marshawn Marshall and I would come back. She'd make a list of all the calls that come in. And she turned it to me when I came to work the next day. And on the top of it was a this fella says his name is John Fowler. And he's at Bethesda, the big naval hospital with PTSD. And there's his phone number. And I said, well, first of all, Doc follow was killed. And so that's that couldn't be. And in my line of work, there's a lot of people. They'll call in and say, you know, my husband, Frank. Thinks the world of you. And do you guys served in the seals together when you invaded Mars? Can we call? That happens. And so I thought this was one of them across the walk in the next day. He's back on the list. And I start to tell her again and she hands me the phone and dials a three O one area code. And thank God it went to a message that said, you reach the office of commander. Jack Fowler, head of the PTS TBI and chronic pain unit at naval hospital with this. I lost it. All those years he's been gone. And we're now reunited in very close. He's one of the lead shrinks in the U.S. Navy, took him two years to recover, finished college, went to become a navy Doc. And an expert on TBI, he had it, and PTS. And he says, look, you could be PTSD or PTSD and he's pretty much up to you. Meaning enabled or disabled. And so he's treated a lot of guys. I've seen them all over the country. I see him little they'll walk up to me in a strange circumstance and say, you look a lot like Holly north. This has happened. And if I'm with my wife, I say, well, it's a good thing I look like Holly north because I'm sleeping with his wife. That's awesome. And of course, she's been through this so many times. On one of those occasions, the guy system he says, you better watch yourself. He's a U.S. Marine he'll kick your butt and he walks away. And she says, didn't see that one coming did you miss her? That's such a nice little awareness. Well, but those things happen because he's so effective at treating people. And helping them recover from it. And that's what my foundation. It's what freedom alliance does. Yeah. That's our purpose. Well, a lot of people I've said this and I got away from it. The Marine Corps was a very it has was the most loving organization of been a part of. And a lot of people, they don't associate love with the wrinkle, but I do. It's the most loving organization I have ever been a part of. And a lot of people don't get that. And it's because we sacrifice our other new prosper. If I don't bring my sleeping bag and you're my CEO, you get me your sleeping bag, and you eat last, all that kind of stuff, I just took for granted when I got out in the real world. I'm like, any modicum was just like any modicum of success I've had is directly attributed to this time I spent in the Marine Corps bar done. I will tell you that that is a common thread in the lives of the marines. And I have to stay. I got an army brother. In fact, is my younger brother who's actually commissioned before I was, because he went straight through our two C and a navy brother, and they have the same kind of attitude in large part because of our dad. You know, the dead that raised us at that kind of ethic, otherwise this soldiers were following him, it mets the big fortress city and the border of Germany. He wouldn't survive either. So I'm alive today because my marines looked after me. Yeah. Yeah. That platoon started to tell you, you know, so you take care of us. We'll take care of you. I mean, that stuff, that sinks in, you know? It's a great. Again, I could talk Marine Corps, we could be 8 hours on this thing. I want to make sure that we talk about your great new book out there. First, I want to thank you too for writing veterans lament. And that kind of understand correctly by doing veterans lament, that kind of got you to write this latest book, right?.

"oliver north" Discussed on Dose of Leadership

"I can't believe colonel Oliver North, on my show on the Marine Corps birthday, it doesn't get any better than that. Happy birthday Marie. Simplified, happy birthday to you, Marie. Yeah. You look pretty good for 246, not bad at all. You don't even better, buddy. I've been a huge fan of you forever. I was telling you before cutting the pre recording that it's something that you'd said early on in your career that I stuck with me that you always remember you talked about your Vietnam experience and how you would kind of get in a sign these kind of crappy assignments and you were kind of complaining about it and I think your commanding officer said, I only send my best guys to the toughest jobs. And so I don't know if he was telling you the truth or if that helped you in your crappy assignments, but it's kind of a piece of advice I stuck with me of all these years. Well, I've had the great blessing of all my life of keeping coming with heroes. My dad was the first hero I ever knew. World War II hero. In my mom and the USO dance and fort Niagara upstate New York and 1941. They got married in 42 and 43. I was born in the San Antonio. And he was already on his way to Europe. Actually going to get ready for Normandy. Patton's third army did not land at Normandy at the same time as everybody else. Eventually get there on the 14th. D-Day was the 6th. And he was part of patents third army all the way up through the battle for Metz where he was very highly decorated. And as I say, I've tell people this, the company you keep is going to define who you are. Yeah. And I've been blessed to be able to keep company with heroes my whole life. He was the first one. And I had that confirmed. I was at a ceremony up at fort indiantown gap for an army colonel that I had covered during the war. This most recent war. And at the reception afterwards on the officers club was an old guy that comes over to me on a walker. And he says to me, you were born and October of 1943 at fort Sam Houston. I said, yes, you're right, I said, how do you know? He said, I delivered you. Really? He's not telling you something else, Sonny. You were sired, and that's the word to use. Sired right here at Indian town gap. So that was the only o-b-gyn Dr. No entire regiment that your father was part of. They left me behind and deliver all the babies that were made right here. That's how I know you were fired here because the division came here from fort Niagara in January and we left here in April, do the math son do the math. So that was the beginning of understanding of what that what life was really all about with a hero dad and I enlisted in the Marine Corps on the 29th of December 1961 and the Marine Corps reserves, got my commission from the naval academy because I got the appointment of the reserves. And went right off to a war. I mean, my lovely wife and I celebrate our 53rd anniversary on November 13th. So it's three days after the Marine Corps birthday. Yeah. And so I always keep track of how many I've missed. And the kids remind me periodically that mom said that the reason she made it to 50 with you is because you were gone half the time. It turns out just about right. So yeah, but the remarkable thing of it is the young Americans that I've been able to keep company with. One that keeps you young, number two, you go out and do dangerous and difficult things with, as you know, not just in the Marine Corps, but all the branches of the service. And the families make enormous sacrifices. And so that was with a whole bunch of marines earlier this morning putting flags on grave markers out here in the northwestern Virginia. And when you look back on those you know, you can't help but look at the dates of demise. Most of them died after the war that they were in. But they also served with guys who didn't make it all. Yeah. And so I like to remind people on Veterans Day that the idea of Veterans Day is not only that we remember the sacrifices made by both the family members and the service member. But you also have to remember that being a veteran is what allows us to have an all volunteer force. That's right. Since 1973, no one's been drafted. Yeah. And there was a lot of concern when that all happened. I mean, I remember it vividly because there are a lot of concerns that we're not going to be able to populate the necessary numbers in the service. It turns out today's military, not taking anything from you or the guys with whom I serve. But today's military is the finest military our country has ever had. They're brighter, better educated, more mature in many cases. In fact, 40 some odd come and married. They come with children. All of those kinds of things, and we need to recognize that that's crucial to the national security of this country. So veterans like you and I have a responsibility to go out and encourage other people to raise their right hand and take that same you and I took. Yeah, I agree with you. And you know, sometimes when you walk when you talk to people, when I got away from it, I told you when I got out of active duty and I was sort of working in the corporate arena. I just kind of assumed everybody understood the process. And it was weird. I mean, some people thought I lived in quantum huts, you know, that they were thinking of going for pile. Or they thought I'd join the Marine Corps because I needed money for college. And I'm like, no, I joined because I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself and I love this country. And that is the vast majority of the sign up for the military. I mean, a lot of people, they think it's the last resort for people. And it's just like, it's just, I haven't found that to be the case. It's not the case. It isn't the case. No, you're absolutely right. In fact, if you look at it, the quality of the person coming in has already been pretty well established. Yeah, agreed. So for example, you're already more physically fit than the average barely walking around out there. Number two, you better educate it. High school, high school diploma is the minimum. The average coming into the service right now is about 13 and a half years of education. So there's post high school education. Yeah. And I'm talking specifically about the Marine Corps now. Where I spent most of my time over the last 17 years. And you look at the extraordinary abilities of these guys, they've been taught chemistry, physics, biology. They know how to use multi-million dollar equipment. I mean, your average Lance Corporal was probably not supposed to be a fire team leader, but he is, right? And the Corporal is now the squad leader. That should be a sergeant. If you look at those folks that we've got today, they're absolutely remarkable. And quite frankly, underrepresented in American business to absolutely. So every time I go out and talk to a business group somewhere, you know, your number one mission ought to be to recruit guys who've been in the service because they're going to be more responsible more accountable than anything you've ever seen in the civilian workplace. And it works. I mean, I see people vet. You can't put up a sign that said veterans only need apply, right? Can't do that. But you can put up a sign that said veterans wanted. And I see signs like that after I've gone out and bang people said against, you know, the media, our colleagues in the media. They'll have to talk about all the negative things. It's only a negative stories. The only quite frankly, even on Fox. And I love Fox made me a lot more to get shot at than the Marine Corps, right? Thank you. My wife thanks, you know, kids, thank you. Yeah. But the reality of it is most people think gosh hiring guy in the military walking in off the street, he's going to go postal.

"Coming up on this episode of the dose lieutenant colonel Oliver North. And I want to just encourage people, don't just think about running for Congress for the senator. President or governor. Start out with your school board. Your county board is supervisors. Your city council because that's where bad decisions are being made all the time that lead to even worse decisions being made at the national government level. And so my hope is that what the result of what we're doing right now is to encourage people. Because the guys in this book we're talking about. Encourage people to go out and serve their country or their community or their state or the local jurisdiction of some kind. And it's some capacity. You don't have to strap on a gun and badge and put the arm around with Velcro, which what you need to do is get engaged in the process so that we end up with good people at every level of government in this country. Hey, welcome to the dose a show dedicated to deep and engaging conversations highlighting individuals that are in the pursuit of authentic and courageous leadership. Who approach life with insatiable curiosity, bold action and common sense in these divisive and uncommon times. It's my hope that you take something away from each and every one of these conversations apply to your own life as we all intentionally attempt to become the best we can possibly be, being drawn towards our purpose and calling, committing to a life of service, making this place better than we found it, and living true lives of consequence. Today's guest fits that Bill, lieutenant colonel Oliver North, such an honor to have him on the show. "Where are the white supremacists that we keep being told about Jennifer? I wish I was out. I don't know what they are. They're at the Glen young in rally paid for by The Lincoln Project, pedo protected. Oh, hang on. I just connected two things. Isn't that interesting? Lincoln project protects pedophiles like Jack Levi, with 21 young men, children as well who had inappropriate sexual relations with. That's The Lincoln Project white supremacist problem with Rick Wilson and his wife cooler with the south shall rise again written on the cooler with the confederate flag. Oh, and then there's white supremacists like Charlottesville, so I think there's a connection here, isn't there, Jen? Yeah, you're absolutely right. Everything that the left calls us is exactly what they are. We've seen it from conspiracies. We've seen it to what they call the people on the right. It is just them trying to shut people down and to try to deflect from who they really are, and it's disgusting. We have got to do a better job of spreading the message. I know talk radio does it. Thank God for that. But when is the news media going to wake up? When is the left going to stop trying to brand the right just because they can't articulate facts because they don't have any to bring to the

"Jennifer horn, are you there? I am here happy birthday to the marines and happy Wednesday to you, said. Happy happy Wednesday to you as well. I don't know. You work incredibly hard, hardest working lady on radio as you also keep. What's his face grant stinchfield under control every morning is you're hosting the morning answer on a.m. 5 98, 8 70 the answer. However, I don't know what you do after this show as have you been keeping a beady eye on the Kyle rittenhouse trial? Is this insane? What a couple of twists that we've seen over the last couple of days. And you know what? What really struck me said is that we heard about this obviously after Jacob Blake and Kenosha and 2020, that was the year where we heard about this. And the media convicted him on day one. They made fun of Ricky Schroder and all the people who stood up for Kyle rittenhouse that they were just a bunch of white supremacy. Even the president himself, Biden called him a white supremacist. Do you know what really struck me? And I'm almost embarrassed to admit this because you know I keep up with the news like crazy. Yes. As I was kind of going through as this trial got underway, what was the last week? Probably. I was just going through and just refreshing everything in my mind. And I looked at the victims and the victims were all white. Now, hang on hang on. You don't forget don't forget. White wife beat us and child rapists. Don't forget. Yeah, yeah. And you know, I pride myself on staying afloat on most of the stuff. Especially these big stories I really try to stay up to date. In my mind, he shot at black people, he didn't shoot at white people. He shot a black people. This is why the media convicted him and said he was a white supremacist because he went in with an AR-15 to go hunting for black people. That was the impression that the news media gave us. That was what was in people's minds. I still think people believe that he shot three black people. And he

"I believe that one of the possibilities is that the communist chinese have so much on hunter and joe biden that if it ever came out and it will ultimately it would be ruinous to this presidency. Is that the same. Does do the russians having have it on them to only russia. Well look at the russian pipeline and the fact. That hundred biden was out there. Negotiating deals that involved everything from from ukraine to the commercialization stuff. that should never have been considered. I think black male is very very serious possibility here. And of course the department of justice under this guy's not gonna do a damn thing about it but that's one of the problems that department of a system department of justice reports to the president. I don't think i've ever gotten a reaction to a story that we've covered news that we've covered like the reaction. We're getting here and there's a reason for that. The reason is simple with the united states of america. We have the biggest the best the mightiest fighting force in the planet. The idea that people didn't see or they factored in chaos as part of any withdrawal and they didn't think ahead enough and didn't see the writing on the wall early enough and that they decided to stay on vacation rather than deal with unfolding crisis says everything. The saddest part of what. We're witnessing is. It was entirely preventable. All of it your calls are next when we come back. More of the best of the sean hannity show stay tuned. Oh intelligence was telling us on thursday and friday. Oh it'd be ninety eight ninety days minimum if they ever got to cobble meaning the taliban that already taken sixty percent of the country joe let him do it. You know the difference. Between president trump and president biden is that the taliban respected and feared donald trump. They saw what happened to the caliphate. Isis as donald trump systematically just wipe them out and blew them into smithereens and they saw that. That would happen to them. That would be their fate. Those were options. "I hear this that the ongoing chaos is priced into the withdrawal. That's what biden said to Democratic stephanopoulos Biden's digging in no-one's being killed right. Now we have at least fifteen thousand. According to him. Americans we don't even know the exact number which infuriates me. Also trapped behind enemy lines of a terror organization and we're reporting acts of terror. I just chronicled in the last hour serious acts of terror and now we have no control whatsoever of the destiny of those americans except that we're now being told that the taliban the terrorist group has has promised pay a safe passage to the airport and people getting memo's echoing yesterday's yes Now is probably a good time to head to the airport but please note. We cannot ensure your safety as you try to get to the airport where they guaranteeing get them out of the airport. Well you know. Did what military warn you. When i not that i can recall but now we know that there was a plan completely in place that they dismantled. It was called the contingency and crisis response bureau and that was formed under secretary of state bank palm peyot tasked with providing aviation logistics medical support capabilities for the department's operational bureaus thereby enhancing the secretary in america's ability to protect american citizens overseas in connection with overseas evacuations in the aftermath of a natural or man disaster

Those guys and marseille units and an army special forces units and navy seals ran those kinds of operations all the time accompanying those special special operations troops of the afghan government. Colonel what can we do now. Pray and i'm not. i'm not joking. We need to pray for those guys on the ground. We need to pray for our country with the kind of leadership we've got. What are you hearing from the people that you know who you want to hear from. Well the the guys that are talking to me from afghanistan or aspirin. I mean they'll call me up with the name and say here. Here's where he is. Here's his phone number. We have no way of getting this guy through the perimeter that the afghans have established around the year. How many troops are we still having the ground. It looks somewhere in the neighborhood sick. They should believe what million were saying. They've got of this of the seven thousand that they're allowed to get which would include the original cadre. that was there They got almost all of them. Unfortunately they don't have all the equipment they need because clearly if the air traffic control system the united states air force has an entire unit. That does this kind of thing. They open up airfields and they control aircraft. and why. that's why that isn't working. I don't know yet. But i will by the end of the night. I'm sure this this is a breakdown of i mean. If you can't fight the taliban who you gonna fight the chinese fight the russians well at least real establish that we've got really good. Social justice warriors. Remember that and they've been taught now about you know critical race theory and they've been caught talk about gender analysis and all this other garbage but god help us if this is what. If this is what's happening to our military we're in fact. I think the last time you and i taught one of the things that's happening in our military today is recruiting way down. The we're losing really good experience junior officers and senior. Nco's because you're getting out and once you once you've lost the cohesion of those units. Who are now supposed to look behind their backs. Because probably the way the guy that's got my back is not my caller then things could go upside down very quickly right. That's the kind of thing. That damage is a military as much as an embarrassment like this. This is far worse in many respects because it's damaging to the credibility of the united states of america taiwanese soldier today wondering will the americans really honored the treaty that they've got with us if you're a south korean and you're looking across the border and you remember back to june twenty-fifth nineteen fifty thinking. Will the americans really fight this time anywhere in the world. Our credibility is smashed by this. This that's why i say in. Many respects is as bad as what happened. On the thirtieth of april nineteen seventy five and saigon. This is the biden moment saigon. This is it colonel. oliver north. Thank you so much for everything you've done for our country and soldiers. I'm praying because i know this is. This is a bad situation and your new book. "Guest. that's right. We have lieutenant colonel. Oliver north is a combat decorated. Us marine tv house military historian a bestselling author. And i think he has a little something about national security. Welcome lieutenant colonel. Oliver north to be with y'all again and and also prison way too familiar with the place called afghanistan. Tell us what the heck is going on. And who calls the shots. I apparently according to what he said yesterday. The commander in chief said the buck stops with him. And if that's true okay. Then we're in deep serious trouble and so were tens of thousands of people trying to get out of afghanistan right now. I mean the the problem was he described very accurately except that he was describing the wrong thing. I mean what happened over. There was a total failure of preparation for the kinds of things that are now happening right in front of our eyes. And and i've been i've spent the better part of the last seventy two hours on the phone with people who i know who are trying to get out. Some of them are americans. Many of them are afghans. Who helped us. And they have no way of getting through the corden that has been established by the taliban when the when mr biden said in his remarks that quote. This happened a lot faster than we thought it would that. There's a hint in right there and all that it unfolded faster than we expected as way put it. So what's unfolded a taliban seizure of the country that they really expect that going all the way back to when these conversations with the taliban began back in the last administration did he do anything at all in preparation remember. I'm not sure if he remembers but we know that he came to office in january. The election was in november. He came to office in january. What transpired between january. And what's now transpiring. Now in conversations with the taliban treating them like they were legitimate force to be reckon with. I guess which quite frankly is beyond what i thought would be a wise thing to do way back when it started in the last administration but in any event. What did they do to prepare. Apparently what they started to do was to shut down every. Us base and get the hell out of dodge forgetting that. Perhaps they're probably in round numbers over one hundred and fifty thousand people who had been working with us closely on the afghan government some military. Two thousand and one day after and in anything that would affect our freedoms like that over any type of beliefs or something that i was worth and willing to to give the ultimate price for in my buddies debilitating things that you've seen. "Nine. Four one sean. If you wanna be a part of the program in a second our good friend colonel oliver north will join us. This might be the best book he's ever written. And this is a discussion. This country needs to have right now. I'll give you the title animal. Get we're gonna play a few things. I'm going to get to colonel north. We didn't fight for socialism. America's veterans speak up. I mean and and this is a powerful book now when you senator. Tom cotton of arkansas Was with defense secretary. Lloyd austin and the department of defense belief in equal treatment is why we have equity inclusion and diversity in the military of course we want a diverse military. We want the meanest we want americans all of this identity politics. How is that helping to make stronger. I could tell you. Because i bet around the military for my entire career and i admire and love these guys. You wanna talk about diversity. You wanna talk about brotherhood. You wanna talk about a colorblind society. I'm the ninety nine percent of people in the military that i know from all races all backgrounds. They love each other and they depend on each other. They protect each other's lives when they're out there in these wards zones that we send them to listen. Do you believe that any member of the military should be treated differently based on their skin color and sex again yes or no. We'll do no. I do not believe that. And that is that is why we have diversity equity and inclusion focus in the military anyway colonel. North is a joining us here. He his new book is just out. Today it's called. We didn't fight for socialism. America's veterans speak up colonel semper fi and safe home and appreciate you. How are you my friend. It's great to be with you again. I mean you know one of the things friends that many of you young listeners. Don't know sean. Hannity helped put freedom alliance and the work that we do with military families veterans families gold star families the orphans of those who american heroes who lost their lives in combat and due to an operational accidents life for them has changed dramatically when that dad almost every case it's a dad who died or permanently disabled. And sean hannity and i did. How many concerts did we do together over the years. We did a lot and and we got a lot of lies. Told about us too in the process. But charlie daniels and i mean what. What a wonderful series of concerts. Summer after summer. Sean gave up an awful lot of time that he could have been on vacation out there helping us to raise funds. And do the right thing for america's veterans and so showing you and i have talked to thousands and thousands of veterans and the common refrain that we're hearing since november third is that we're looking at a country that no longer represents the values that we fought for. And what you're not. You're now seeing in the armed forces. The united states is an effort to.

"Wednesday and right in the middle is very high population of amazing patriots and and they. They came from cuba and broken down dilapidated rickety boats shark-infested waters and inner tubes to get away from the murdering communist regime. Down in cuba started with fidel castro. And now is the time where america could least in you know. Speak out the first thing. The state department says no. They're just. They're just angry that there's not enough vaccine. No that was a lie and jen psaki just circling back every day until they finally had to say yeah. It's a communist regime because we had to be forced to do it and they're they're they're asking for american solidarity. There's a moment in history. Where the cuban people can be set free. You open up cuba to liberty and freedom and free elections and free thought there's a country like venezuela with all their natural resources and energy both those countries you will see tourism. You'll see investment from one american hotel and restaurant chain after another. It'll be a been five years. It'll be an entirely rebuilt country with far greater wealth than you can ever believe in an indicates to the insanity. Oh green new deal is all about what failed their whatever name manifestation it happens to be maybe up to now minus the land theft and confiscation and the murdering that went on whatever name whatever form redistribution government's gonna take care of your every need it always ends in misery failure broken promises and a loss of freedom always every single time no exceptions ben ferguson. Here the democrats have laid out a radical socialist agenda instead of falling the republican blueprint. That had our economy booming. The dims are now going to raise taxes and skyrocket and already outrageous national debt..

"Tax increases you watch. They're going to try and make them. And this is not the first time this will have. They're going to go back and try and make it retroactive. You know what that does the economy it you will watch the economy begin to shrink right there. And then they will be unleashed fury in the markets as a result of this. Now if you care about okay well. Well how republican states done economically versus democratically led states. You know states. Like new york and california draconian shutdowns seventeen of the top twenty states as it relates to recovering jobs lost during the pandemic yes. They're led by republican governors. Seventeen out of twenty. I read this weekend or read today. The new york mets baseball team. They're literally bussing in people to work from the philadelphia phillies organization in a work in jobs. Like you know selling hot dogs. Beer and popcorn peanuts cracker. Jack's whatever they're selling the game because the unemployment benefits so good. It's not worth it for people to to get out in the job force again. This is now happening everywhere. Supply chains are stifled in many industries. And of course. Yeah the hacking on top of it. Then you add the high price of oil on top of it. Eighteen of the top twenty states have republican control legislatures. Twenty one republican led states have recovered at least two thirds of their loss jobs. And that is you know. Look at what look at. What's happening all of you. Fill up your gas tank a or most of you look at what's happening to the cost of a gallon of gasoline. Averaging at least the buck twenty-five more a gallon heating and cooling you're home it's dramatic steel and lumber is through the roof where you would have paid two thousand twenty five hundred dollars for a year ago. Yeah you pay an eleven thousand four now especially with lumber beef poultry seafood prices way up fruits and vegetables like i like oranges so i go do my own shopping. People always say well you do your own shopping. I'm hungry he that's why you know. Go shopping pick out these. I love oranges. And i'll pick out oranges. I think you get now like bucks each got five or ten bucks. It's going through the roof. I told you about the price of bacon. Coffees up cereals..

Danger to to people at work in the timber industry whether the whether you work in the mill. You're out in the field and you cutting down these big trees and then you're you're chainsaw hits a spike. Yeah guess what happens. That doesn't go well and severe injuries.
