Texas phenomenal phenomenal performance. What a comeback against michael chandler. He's kind enough to join us from his home. in brazil. charles. Overshadow pot abandons. Thank you for. The time is is super happy in one. Say thanks for the the pleasure to talk to you. Could you describe if possible. What the last ten days have been like in your life winning the belt the way in which you did coming home the reception that you got. How do you describe the last ten days in your life Water normal days. He hadn't but as you is show glad show happened and can understand what what is happening in his life. We saw amazing scenes return home. They had a parade for you. You're on a bus all these people. were you expecting. That reception shall imagine that. Will you have some people awaiting us. But we'll better in in a different way. Chalice could could not be Can i say shall is not expecting. These weighed in this in this size of the people who who organized that or going to you. Know the old that is starting to call in likes From different states or different seedy come to russia. Know we've seen other grape brazilian champions win belts amanda nunez anderson silva josie aldo junior dos. Santos i have never seen something like that before. Why do you think your win has meant so much to fellow brazilians. Shelly said that His believing his history in The way that it come to see yon these algiers that can that was in these fights. No yeah that was. You're twenty eight you've seen fight you've been in the promotion for eleven years. Can you be honest with me charles. Was there a time when you had those eight losses in the in the company. Was there a time where you didn't believe that this was possible that you'd be able to turn your career round and become undisputed champion. Did you lose. Hope at any point shallows Had on the heart that one day will he never lose. Hope you know these days. So if i would have told you in two thousand seventeen in detroit you lose the paul felder. That's relaxed loss. Hey charles don't worry you're gonna turn this around you're going to be championed in a few years you would believe me for sure for sure. One hundred percent. How did you stay so positive. Like most people wouldn't have believe me. How did you stay so focused and motivated and positive about reaching this goal. Charlie said that the one hundred percent that was his fate. Defago off trusting god in his destiny. Going back to the fight when you had him in the The body triangle for the rear naked choke were. You surprised that he was able to get out of that. Child is not so wasn't was not surprised. shelley's was ready to end anymore. Any movement that they're under can could. Do you remember what you were thinking going to the corner in between the first and second round because it looked like he was close to potentially finishing you to remember what was going through your mind. And what your coaches told you in order to regroup. Shelly said that When rounds finish get up Like normal you know feeling good angle directly to the corner and see dow and wait. The you weren't nervous. You weren't hurt. Nothing like that or mike coach only on the ask five in wooden kate and he just pulled that the defenders all my eyes. But i'm okay when you won the fight and you jumped over the cage. Who are you celebrating with. I just wanna celebrate and asset joel. Tankful i'm so glad. And i just want celebrates and those other people that you ran over towards in the in the crowd who was that were those family members friends. Who was that old friends that leaving usa. And i that. I that i have ola longer. Friendship now back home in brazil. A lot of people talk about where you live you live. Do still live in the fa velez and do you have any plans of leaving. Now that you're champion a a want is to lead me. He loves ya near to my family near to my france. And i'm happy here. And i have plenty to continues you and of seeing that you've done a lot of charitable work christmas and you go around and you give presents and things of that nature. Why is that so important to you to be such a presence in your community shot. His believed that one day. He received display disapproving years. This or and now he see that is huston due to develop and to deliver to the to the people that live here on. It'll beat off your arm. Or what what he can do for the other people's no okay And just a couple of other questions do you believe. Have you been told that your next opponent will be dustin. Poor air conor mcgregor has the ufc told that to you left. She didn't told yet but I'm dick crowd is still indies. And i'm anxious. Is that what you think makes most sense for your next dustin or conor the winner of that fight. Florida champion doesn't matter i won the champions and i'm the jumpers and doesn't matter each one no preference. You didn't have a single preference. No wow no. "Station i went to people were all genuine people on the streets. Were yelling out of their cars at me. Good luck you know this for this fight and that first main event you know. I'll never forget that. Finally headlining i want. It was such a dream for so long now. I'm looking at two posters on my wall with my face on it. So you know didn't get that title shot but the main event was it was made in it then it was title shots right. You know i. I had a a a sequence of things that me and my mom would always talk about like what i have to do before i can think about retirement and the one for sure was definitely get in as many main events as you can. You can do in the time you feel good about still fighting to one on super short notice against you know fighting a former champion know that that sticks out to me those those two main events and obviously stevie ray fight in scotland just whenever i would win on home turf lake. That it's crazy that the charles oliveira verified isn't really one because at the time at the time that was a fight expected to win expected to beat him. I think i might even been the favourite or slight underdog in that fight but now look at him. That one's aged well. At least i'm getting credit for it after the fact so aged mean the finest wines and we've been talking about how that age dwell for so long now i mean he's been on such a win streak that me and my buddies have been talking about. That's all era win and that was a year ago. Now i mean i was so stoked nothing against michael chandler. I really have nothing against that guy but when he won we lost our minds here. Bunch of my friends were over and that was great. it's a beat the champ. Yeah feather in your cap. By the way you mentioned your mom a legend on twitter. I would see her pop up from time to time just curious. Once you made it official. What was the conversation like with her. I'm assuming she was watching. Yes yeah she said you know very classy. And she loved how i handled in that. I that i'm choosing to go out. It's really important to me. And i think to my family and the people that love me and care about me that i always said. Listen guys when. I know it's time like i will leave the sport i i will and this is you know i was saying this. Even before there was commentary jobs and stuff like that. Like i knew i wouldn't i. I didn't want to overstay my welcome. I'd rather leave the party a little early and have an irish goodbye. Peace out before anybody sees me get too drunk at that party. And if i stayed too long get beat up too much longer. I want to keep everything intact but mama's very happy and very pleased at how it down and she's excited to see what happens from here and she gets to watch on. Tv doing commentary whenever she wants and she gets to see me a lot more. So i mean. It's all positive. She's going to my race in june virginia So she gets to see me. Compete now. doesn't have to walk away and go hyder. Is you know she can Much do that stuff much safer now while you are a class act my friend and Love to see all the love that you are receiving I mean i meant like you're you're you're fighters fighter right like all the fighters respect you and i think you saw that and They appreciate your heart and your determination and souvenir connor you about the the the the the the the rivalry or relationship between you and connor is a bizarre stand. What's going on there. perhaps you do. I don't i think he's just as as they would say man. I think he's just always been taken the piss to be honest with you you know. He's a. He's a true irishman. Obviously on the irish dragging. So i think he'd him and his boys or just having fun you know their disguise himself the dragon. How can we not roast them. A little bit But i think at the end of the day. There's no real bad blood there you know. I'm trying to go to his fight. So if connor sees this connor please. I'm trying to get tickets. But you're going to be quite a sellout so as a as a you know a president to the old irish dragon or the german ja- dragon. Whatever you wanna call me. My friend gave me some tickets for that show. So i cannot take the fan i appreciate. I was gonna mention the connor thing but let's just leave. It's i appreciate you Uber yeah i loved it. I loved it next time. Talk about josh. Fabien but will leave that one. Yeah cut a group floor all the best you paul. The great thing is will still see you at all. The events commentary all that stuff. "Charles oliveras coach. I used to think this was his manager. The gentleman's name lima. I thought it was his manager but in the recent article said that it was his coach. But this is the same guy. That's always speaking on charles's half okay. So lima comes out. And this is in regard to charles oliveira and d. as in the wake of nate calling out olivera and calling outpouring. So here's the quote to be honest you would you never say i read it right out of the gate. Big mistake to be honest. How am i supposed to interpret that. This is honest or that the other times you speak. You're not being honest. I say to be honest. Okay to be honest. It is a fight that theoretically makes no sense to us natives. Not active much less ranked. It is a fight that would only happen for financial reasons. But even so i don't think it would be beneficial for us at this point. We know that mcgregor sells a lot really who he faces sells. Well meaning mcgregor is not at that level. Our goal is the belt even if it is financially worthwhile today. I do not see this struggle. Adding to charles's career. The goal is won. The lightweight title lima said of his pupil oliveira in quote all right. Let's break this thing down. Line for line feels. I did the first one for you to be honest mistake. Don't ever say that. Now you just make yourself look dishonest in every other thing that comes out of your mouth. This fight theoretically makes no sense for us. Nate is not active much less ranked first off. Nobody knows that it feels as though it was three or four months ago. That nate was fighting the sold out madison square garden. The reality is if you look at a calendar and a time you trace that back. It was closer to two years ago that it was two months ago but nate. Not being active is something that nobody knows and also says that natives not ranked nobody knows what those rankings are. You have to understand this. If you live so close to the trees that you can't see the forest you will make statements like this all the time. There is nothing here in this quote that i'm giving you that every other fighter and or manager or coach when they speak about it doesn't make the same mistakes. Nobody understands that does not active and nobody understands that. Nate is not ranked. You could have told us that that nato is not ranked or you could tell us that. He was ranked number four. Nobody would say anything. Because we don't know what he's ranked we don't even know where to find these rankings. It is a fight that would only happen for financial reasons. But even so. I don't think it would be beneficial for us. Okay so. I guess the rich if a fight is going to happen for financial reasons and the athlete is a prize fighter. But you don't think that it would be beneficial. Apparently you're already rich we know now. Here's here's where you start. The wheels really starting to fall off the bus. We know that mcgregor sells a lot. Whoever he faces sells well nate. Not at that level. Says who. How do you possibly know what conor mcgregor cells. And how do you possibly know what nate. Dsl's that is an opinion. Oh by the way your client oliveira has a contract. It wouldn't matter if the world watch the fight or no one watches it. All very is getting what his contract says. If there's a return on investment that's none of your business period so first off your facts are made up. You don't know that mcgregor sells well and you don't know that doesn't that makes you a mark you've been reading headlines you can't prove either to be true and you know where in your contract are entitled to a bonus based on who you face. You have a contract. So the financial part of it fully falls on the promoter. And it's very weird that this was even brought up because it has nothing to do with him. He doesn't get to participate. Our goal is the belt. Love that good for you. Even if it is financially worthwhile. Today i do not see this struggle meaning fight adding to charles's career. Why would you need to. I do not see this. Struggle adding to charles's career. Why would you need to. Why would you need to be able to see anything. You're already stating who draws what prior which you don't know prior to that you're stating that the money doesn't matter which is weird for a prizefighter over all you're stating that you want the belt however you're not going to get one and you're not going to get because people don't know who your client is. That's not a jerk thing for sale appearance. Say an attempt to condescend to somebody. It's just something that has to be recognized so that we change that the gap and the leaps of the ladder of the wrong. The leaps that charles. Oliver went up by beating. Tony ferguson is unmatched anywhere else in his career. Charles has beaten a lot of guys. He's beating the hell out of a lotta guys. He's control guys. He's finished guys. He's never got the boost that he got by doing that to tony. So that should be a big clue to his management coaches trainer and himself. Hey i just got to get out there. I just gotta be seen by more people. Get me back in there. Get me in the rain and there were times in your career where to get the rub. You have to beat somebody in front of you. There's other times in your career you just have to be seen. People are now interested in you. They're going to tune in to see you. they're not going to know what your opponents right. They're not gonna know if he's active. They're not gonna know indoor care what you're getting paid for it. They just want to see you so when you get so close to the trees and you can't stand back and observe the forest. This is how you make mistakes. Like this k- the goal is only won. The lightweight title. Love that that is awesome but it still sounds as though you don't know what it's take to going to get there and it's not the punches kicks. It's not the submissions. It's not your level of conditioning. Or how many chin ups you can do. Step number one and becoming the champion. You've gotta get a championship fight. Plenty guys will put on the the best performance you've ever seen if they didn't do it in the super bowl they don't get to the super bowl champions. Plenty of guys will go to whoa. That is the best performance. I've ever see too bad. That wasn't for a championship. He's not the champion i mean. Do you see where this is. The first thing you have to do go.

"Right now. I'm going to give them some advice. So nate d. s. charles oliveira. Listen up but before we get there. I've got a question about corey. Sandbagging did corey. San hagan go and do it again. Sandbagging came out and he said i really like title fight but if that opportunities not here then i'll fight cody. Garbrandt or tj dillashaw ev. Just one or two corey do it again. I mean cory is obviously being thought of four. An immediate title shot. Let's keep him around. Hold him out a minute. Three weeks away is all. We are between yawn and sterling. You're very clearly as an audience down to to your very clearly down to sand hagen and dillashaw. I don't know how strong. Tj's argument is being that. He was on suspension verses. Tj's back for a title that he never lost. I don't know. But i know that we are down to those two so sand hagan coming out and suggesting to fights garbrandt and or tj now is going to get an interest at least from his base talkative sand hagans to steer him in one of those two directions thus taking the eye off the prize which is the title fight now. Sandbagging did a pretty cool thing. There he called for a fight. We love that not to mention. He called out to studs. He's not looking for something easy to do. Full credit and respect the problem that you will have within a is. It is a drug. The attention that you receive is a drug you receive a commodity through your participation on television with the media with interactions on social media with text messaging. You receive a level of attention that when the fight is gone like a drug it is gone and you need your fixing. You need to get it back which some guys will be so starved for attention. That has now gone. That they'll go start. Sending out tweets weird once just to get some level of interaction with invade their life from these people that they don't know it's very normal. It's very tough as a fighter to know when to take yours out of the water and most fighters don't even know the cycle. The day that you signed begins the media the begins the training camp it begins. The attention begins the focus. Then you have the actual match itself. Then you have two days and most athletes miss this. They missed those two days. They're so tired win or lose their so ready for this to be done. They're tired of living out of hotel. Rooms they wanna get their stuff. They want to get to the airport. They wanna get home. They wanna put their feet up and they miss those two days. But if you look at the big media days and it largely started because of errol halawani whether was errol halawani and the our he used to host but that was monday now he's over on. Espn two in the era hawaii show. But it's monday it largely is because of aerial. That monday is such a big day and aerial will recap what happened. Not just what's coming up. All sport shows are about what's next and what's now airlines. One of the few sports show that will recap what happened. He doesn't on mondays off sports day. But it became on sports day in the world of mma because of him. I don't say this to make this aerial piece. I'm sharing for you. Why you have forty eight hours and forty eight hours specifically after your fight and then it is gone. You cannot come out on tuesday. You cannot come out on wednesday. That is long gone. We have moved on to what is next. We have press conferences. four who's been versus burns by example. We're going to media days. You're going to have your workouts if they're still doing those in the pandemic not to mention you're going to have the way in the actual competition itself thus making what happened last week old news. But it's important that you do understand the cycle from the day you sign the match itself plus forty eight hours so fed up as best. You can wants those forty eight hours expire and in the case of sand egg. They have expired. You take yours out of the water. Zip it zip. There's an exception to every rule. And i can tell you plenty of times were guys are going to have to go. Fight with other guys in the media to try to get what they want. Where the squeaky wheel gets the grease where the guy with the biggest mandate of the masses and he's got to compete with somebody else over the internet through social media four headlines to try to get what he wants offering you a question of has sandbagging done it. Again san hagen who is in a position to be picked to have his phone ring and it is down to. It's not down to two in the order of dillashaw saying and that would be the reverse order. It is san hanging on top followed by dillashaw the memories and the greatness of dillashaw that were two years ago versus the memories in greatness of sand hagen. That was two days ago. Sandbagging has one that part of it. He got to go last. He got to have the final word. He's in a very good spot so as him coming out and calling for a fight anything other than what he wants and what he is likely in line for as san hagan san and again and if you were to break down what he said. I'm not sure where cody garbrandt came from. I don't have any problem with kala. I like that match. I think that if you are cody garbrandt those guys. Don't forget there was talk. That garbrandt was going to fight for the championship at one. Twenty five now. That talk largely went away when marina went out there and did so. Well with four-mega dana went to the press conference and said one hundred percent not even a maybe we are doing this fight again so then all of a sudden your code. You gotta go okay. Well that means something for me to means either. Wait around or i go stay. Active in between cody's choices. I would like to see cody. Still get that title fight. I think cody and one hundred and twenty. Five pounds is very good for business. I think just the industry is going to be better if cody on top. I think he's more likely to be on top at one twenty five. It's my own opinion. I think that for mega what he's doing with that division. I think the way that his stock is growing his ability to move the needle at least in conjunction with other guys that have come before him with the mets same division. I see a fight between them at one. Twenty five being as anticipated of a fight. That one hundred twenty five pounds is ever seen. But that's me sitting. Shales wish we have to know what cody wants to do. And if cody is looking at a title fight at one twenty five. Those rumors that we were once told are true are still true and in this business things very quickly. But if that's still true. And i would think that would be particularly for mega wins again. So there's no trilogy with marina and goes right. You're looking to move on with it. I think that's where you would. Really sorta cody garbrandt. But it would seem as though code. He's gotta be he's gotta be able to get the same deal at one thirty five right. If you're cody. Okay guys you want me to fight saying hey can all do it but you also told me if i wait and suck off ten pounds i can go right into a title so if i beat san hagan is that make me eligible for a title and you see things. I don't know if anybody could guarantee that. Because in the interim what happens does tj ended up with a fight with somebody drawing him in or tj become the guy and he sits around and wait. Somewhat of tj wins now. You're going to have a tj versus cody. Which we've already seen. There's just it's one of those things where it's very hard to make promises within the sport i mean. I'm not sure the best answer i've ever heard in the sport isn't the one that dana has to always give where he simply says. Let's see what happens. And as much as that makes everybody roll their eyes and pull their hair out because they have no definitive answer. I'm not sure it's not the absolute best answer. How do any of us predict what's going to happen when it's yet to happen. Vitor belfort gonna throw punch. That doesn't hit randy could tour but a piece of stitching cat catches randy is what i mean right. There is weird things that happen or you get a weird decision. We go man. What were they watching there. It's just one of these things. Jones versus cormier is the biggest trilogy. The sport could possibly have until steep a goes out there and stops cormier in the fourth round. Now steve pavers is daniel is the biggest trilogy. And there's no talk of daniel versus john jones anymore. I mean just offering you examples. That went very quickly where it's very hard to start making promises and then fulfil those not knowing what's still going to come and i'm picking.

"Was former ufc champions. I've done it with a lot them. I've been a perennial top. Ten top fifteen guy at my worst. Even when i lost fights even when i had to pull myself back up and dust myself off. Don't use the word. Hasn't the word the phrase hasn't earned it around me now. I just came into your organization. I just came into the top five. Kick down the door. Knock that a guy in two and a half minutes that you couldn't finish twenty five minutes and i think i've cement the myself as the top guy have. I earned it in the afc yet. No but but if that's the case i'm not going to earn. Ufc to his standards for the ten fights. You know the guys got twenty six points in the afc. At what point do i learn it. So i kind of I kinda. I heard it loud and clear right away and then i started thinking about it and thought man. It's a little bit. It definitely a little bit on the. I'm not gonna use the word disrespectful even though i just did is probably gonna make the headline But it just it kind of is it but it doesn't really matter at this point. I have submitted myself inside the top five but finished the finish. The guy that nobody else thought i was gonna be able to finish. Submit the myself in the top five. And we're gonna. We're gonna see some clarity. you know. i've said yes now to every single opportunity. I said yes to three different opponents in october i said yes to numerous opponents in january ended up being on dan hooker. Matter of fact. I even said yes to another opportunity here in the next couple of weeks gets to try to get some some clarity in you'll. Ufc the white lightweight division. I've showed up from outside or inside the dark horse contender within the next the last couple of months. So you think. I earned whether you think i earned it or not as irrelevant. I'm going to win the world title here in twenty twenty one. What's that opportunity in the next couple of weeks. I said yes to an opportunity i was. I had a phone call. Just said hey. Would you be willing to fight in the next couple of weeks. And i said yes There's a big pay per view coming up. I said yes to it. I knew i wasn't. I wasn't didn't have any names being thrown around necessarily but i knew that it would be somebody by process of elimination. Somebody ranked ahead. Is that happening. it's not happening. I had a twenty four. I had a twenty four ounce bone in rib by sitting in front of me at cain. Prime steakhouse my favorite place on earth. By favorite place to eat on earth. I stopped eating it right then and there. I was on a plane to florida. I landed in florida. Forty eight forty eight hours later. Because i said yes to another opportunity i was ready to stay there and training for the next four straight for the next eight days and then hop on a flight vegas It did not come to This opportunity did not come to fruition. Scientist says new virus variant may be more deadly
"President Biden's chief medical advisor, Dr Anthony Fauci, says he's concerned about a new covert 19 variant emerging in South Africa. Virus hunters in this high risk. Biohazard lab and Durban are hot on the trail of the mutant strain spreading spreading at at breakneck breakneck speed speed across across South South Africa. Africa. The The virus virus has has mutated mutated to to attach attach Maury Maury easily easily to to human human cells. cells. The The disease disease is is no no more more deadly, deadly, but it spreads more easily. We don't believe that we're going through a new pandemic. Yeah, which variants that not only transmit much faster. But that also potentially has left neutralization. Genetic scientist studio de Oliveira discovered the new variant after observing a dramatic uptick in infections in November. South African hospitals are overwhelmed mortuaries overcrowded and burial plots in short supply, The elevators, colleagues and the highly secured lab have developed a live culture of the strain to speed up research. The new strain here seems to have the ability to reduce the effectiveness of antibodies in people infected in the first wave. By how much so tenfold would be conservative. You can also have complete knockout with a B No. Responsible. That's right. This'll means that those infected in the first wave could have little protection from the new strain. Even more troubling, it could render some of the vaccines less effective. It's clear That we've underestimated this virus on the other hands. "Our failure modes or that the push watch out for what what is or reduction. I classic mistake is thinking of oneself importance because many people see community builders in the spotlight and a great community. Builder is often love and people see that and then they go for that thing but that community there is loved because they gave i because most often they didn't care much about putting themselves in the spotlight but they cared to serve as a platform for people to connect in create platforms for but to connect combing can do. They tend to be very focused in adding value. And that's ex- that's fundamental so commuting. And i lost pens. I see community that either. Go for the gold pot. Go involved which is like. I wanna be on influencer. That's really not the way to go about it. first of all you need to be purpose driven. The second thing that i often see is that the classic one and it's not. They are all very patient but trying to control more than they can. So i like to compare community building baking or two surfing because there's just Amount of things that you can control initial control. Everything can but let go of the rest kit. You can control what you're right about your brand you can control your story. You can control where you tell your story to whom but it can't control will feel about it and you can't force people to do something that's micromanagement so he needs to create spaces at like you put eleven in and let it and put some sugar and some water and let it do your thing that led to the with thing it breeds and then maybe you so it requires a lot of patients so in a nutshell. I think these two things are trying to control things too fast because we live in a world where we have that usually control ends up killing coming in because when the leader is gone the community dice because there were so fundamental to it so not letting go traffic control everything or being too. Self centered are usually things that go communities. That's also related to trying to go for the marshmallow too soon. Enough that marshmallow things with the kids..

"His struggling to monetize on that titled him you could go down the startup grind avenue which is getting like google furniture preneurs or some big sponsor to love you and see the impact of what you're doing like a cause and sponsor you should be powered to have the power to buy me right. The other thing is that you want to keep it very transparent with your community. But what is the coveted that you're adding there and maybe you're on that developers to jobs. Maybe you're connecting. you're creating you're creating huge tunb etta base so that's our core value. Maybe for outsiders so there's one There is motivation in there. In a way that also serves the benefit that benefits your so. There's different ways Any you're building for instance community around place. You don't need to win a prize. You are the solution because most people make mistakes of building a place for like a co working space or building in house complex before knowing. Who's going to get in so if you are going to be there. You are actually making money by bringing people to that physical place. And that's place making so there are communicating avenues. Make money straight away the problem. I think that many of us think of community only as communities are around calls like women in tech and then we depend most times on sponsorship. But i think the core is that it's just think of i said no but i have one pack that is just think of all the players within their community and all the types of interactions going from all the other ways for instance have women in tech and i have conferences that wants to have women speaking in them and i have companies hire women. Just give you an example so they can create that kind of marketplace and monetize from that So that's why it's not that simple and straightforward. But you find out what's the core value that you're sober to whom and from there we need to. Then we talk about cutting ties to some of the nitty gritty. A how to get a community up the ground how to how to grow it and then how to scale it or decentralize it in the book you talk about the community life cycle the different stages and then you also have your own sort of extended gardening metaphor when you can get into all that. Yeah so basically. I think that communities grow like nature so that life cycle it's about they're sanding phases of your community goal through from you being alone with your core idea so the first.

"Welcome to the podcast. Thank you eric. Thank you very much for having me excited to be here so you've just released this book. I can communities Before we get into talk about why would now for the okay so that there's a big wide to this so first of all we are in one of the most connected times of a world. We have a mobile our pockets. We are mobile. We can travel anywhere. We can choose where to belong in at the same time. Loneliness is an epidemic in our era. So i didn't come to think about all of those things. When i first started building communities but as i started writing a book. I figured that that thing. I had been doing of just bringing people together and making them through at home headed deeper meaning and now we are facing times where the whole world has experienced loneliness to a higher degree. And i think it's even more from the mental to build a community. This is a social responsibility and the other things that we all have that source code. We all know how good it feels should belong authentically instead of like just fit in trying to belong somewhere by force and look to see more spaces like those coming up where people feel at home. They can express their most authentic cells. And i'll try to pretend to be something that feels safe. It linked to the fact. That moment is has concretely negative effects for health it increases your cortisol levels and on the flip side belonging critter oxytocin levels and that's because our bodies are wired to belong because backing time. You're like naked clawless creatures dwelling in caves. We would not have survived by ourselves so belongings and imperative biological breath as something kirkwood said. She researched the modem. This topic followed following the research by junk a triple which researched the effect of roman has in our body so in a nutshell belongings to matters but the way we connect has changed so we need to reinvent belonging this hacking communities. And how do we explain this phenomenon lace where we're more connected than ever and weaken you travel easier than ever and yet you're more lonely than ever seems like a paradox. How do we explain this. I agree and i mean there's a lot of research going on about his right now and i can give you. The there are several aspects to this right. So let's talk first about what happened because the word has changed supervising beth leg hundred years and fifty years than twenty years and then only the last year. It went crazy right..
