A man is under arrest for two stabbings in Rockville, police say a man found stabbed in the 700 block of hunger for drive last night, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. He was able to give a description of the suspect, leading Montgomery county police to arrest 31 year old Scorpio Alexander stanfield as he was walking nearby. Police say that while investigating the crime scene, officers then located another adult male victim suffering from a stab wound, seated in his vehicle in the 800 block of hungerford drive. That victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Stanfield is charged with attempted murder, first degree assault and first degree murder, detectives are asking anyone who has information about the stabbing and the homicide to call them. A Maryland man is under arrest for shooting fireworks into a crowd of people. That's just one of the 18 charges he faces. 43 year old Aaron dove of emmetsburg was firing lit fireworks from his vehicle into a crowd and home in the 15,800 block of old Frederick road Friday night. Police say there was a fight between dove and a man when dove apparently shot a Roman candle into the man's chest, then drove over his foot as he sped away. The empowerment Temple reopened its doors to members on Sunday after being closed since March, 2020 at the start of the pandemic, church officials said they could have reopened earlier but decided it's member safety was of the utmost concern. A Baltimore man arrested for a December 2020 murder 28 year old Diamanti Spencer, charged with first degree murder.
