Madrid Making Moves

"Uh-huh and Lebanon Donna Dan Narrow Ericsson Ericsson could be heading to the Santiago Bernabeu according to reports is the president of Real Madrid who wants him influencing oh Perez but Zidane's and not so keen he's the ones pull pumper said Peres is the only winner surely this scrap well except that we had in the summer and sit down one that time is it I'm was was adamant as you've just pointed out that it was poker that he wanted Rao Madrid in the in you know it was very difficult poker they'd lined up a couple of other deals one was was this WanNa call someone was debate from from from ax and there was a very clear sense from that right we want to bring them infielder in these two that we think we think can work exam was so adamant that had been cut in the end they didn't get any of those players so if for this story to reemerge for it's a to reemerge from cloudy it's because I've a foreign tino all the rest of the rights of decided we do this anyway all because Dan has backed down or calls because they've just decided right well we want to try and force the issue on this now there's a little bit of me that doesn't entirely see the point in this deal now ramage at the moment look at the squad lists in recent weeks admittedly because some injuries they actually put the squabbling they publish them Goalkeepers Defenders Field as forwards and his great big long list everywhere and a tiny little list in the midfield a category and so they do need midfielders in terms of numbers but what they really need in truth is another number ten stroke attacking midfielder stroke the creative forward they've got lots of those and so this is a deal I think that they want to make it done they want they want to get it done rather they know that this is a market entity because of course Ericsson because of his contractual situations burs would come very cheap but then of course in the summer he would come for free this is a reminder contract is up at the end of the season good enough for amateur Christian Harrison having been an important player over the years for Tottenham Hotspur maybe not quite as much lately but his mind I think it's been a bit scrambled by everything that's been going on wanted to go to row Madrid I think it's a pretty open secret in the summer it didn't happen I think they'd get him for something like thirty million pounds because of the situation with his contract in June okay so you could see that happening because you get the feeling Tottenham that something's got to give and they need to freshen things up so yeah I think for Madrid wanted enough it can happen you let him go in January savings you say okay let's get some money for him and move on well I think I think he's an he looks always kind of half choked Luke's is always not interested right and of course we know Daniel Levy lakes bringing money and so it seems to me that you would just let them go get some money and get rid of a body again and start building again does he fit into this team I think is a good enough play for Marie I don't think right now and he's in a position where you can just turn players away because there is a there are some areas in which you have to be concerned so injuries are part of the reality Real Madrid now whether it's aww Tony Cruz there's nobody who can take the position Okaz Amedeo but the point that sid is making makes a whole lot of sense in that that kind of player is not exactly what you need so you're just bringing them to make numbers up you're not bringing them because he's addressing a need an area in which you're saying you know what we have to have a player like this it doesn't quite make sense from that point of view in terms of the market value it makes a whole Lotta sense for rare Marie to invest in a guy who would have come at a much higher price he's in what it's going to be a discounted price in the end problematic sit could it be going forward the sedan doesn't get I don't know the answer to that because oversee is problematic now and there's he wanted paper into the side for the star this season as the season moves on and he starts to find solutions Nicole seen very good performance in the last from Federal Valverde who has some of pope was qualities not quite the same sort of player but he covers a lot of ground he's quite direct he gets into both Sierra so there is a sense that they're finding solutions that so I don't necessarily think if they can find an alternative poke the similar enough that have a similar kind of skill set a similar sort of level then perhaps it's not too much of a problem but it was a problem in the summer not Lisa because it that degree of tension between down the club there's IT and felt the club who had promise to get in the plaza wanted promise to get rid of the players that he wanted weren't able to do so now there's a difference between not being able to do so and refusing to do so which is why I think that those kind of problems can be overcome but of course there is that little bit of tension that still remains said as you're on and we need to talk about a story that we've discussed forty eight hours out front page of bail says he wants to go that he's had enough the reason this is a big deal obviously Bala Gate well linked within Spanish football well link within the Gareth Oh camp this is why you've got to take this story seriously and the big question I said why why now why is he coming out and saying this now considering all the summer very had all those problems he gets a standing ovation after his performance against Granada two days comes out and said that enough because you drop me in that champion's league game well that's that's a great way to start them because is if you read the printing of this article at it fits exactly we've your question don't police is bio- tyke no more and at that point because of the timing is you right yes I think he will he can take no more of being a starter in the team that's top of the League who's just provided a wonderful assist them being innovation by the fans this isn't the moment to be thinking I can take no more that said of course some of the underlying element of this story this really is no different from what we've been talking about going all the way back to August we talked about it in in the middle of September Knbr as well I think when we were saying that violence playing now he's in the team now he starting now he's getting continuity now but that doesn't mean he's playing remember that comment playing happily remember that comment he made when he was lost while Scott what was it three or four weeks ago and he said I'm playing but wouldn't sound playing happily and that is this in a nutshell now I think is very difficult at this early stage you say he will go because of course we saw this summer even if you want to go even if the club is trying to force you out you have to find an exit and the summer they didn't one until very late in the summer they found that opportunity to go to China thought it was all done and the last minute realm of turned around and said no and so I think is angry about that feels irritated by that and yeah I don't doubt for minute idea that well if there was a good while I'd take it but that's not quite the same and this will happen because it's very very difficult to make this happen and personally if I was able to go about your question the timing be thinking look I'm not very happy I'm not very pleased with the it may have a great relationship the manager but hey I'm a star now at wral Madrid again and so between now and the end the season I think a lot can happen that will so the way this plays

What does your name cash me outside or something girl who by the way, Danielle goalies now like a big superstar making tons of money and starting her own makeup line and everything else. So. Yeah. For all the fun. We made of her. She made a business of CI made out. Very well. I, you know, I'm always amazed at how things that look so ludicrous to me end up being palatable to the American people. I I just I don't get it. What what about her? Is it even remotely entertaining? And certainly the way she got her start there. You go to ask, you know, old retired eatings what were the ratings? Did. They don't care. Well, usually we talk about that Americans. You know have been watching award shows for f-. There's too many in what's hard right because he apparently had made some homophobic. It wasn't homophobic tweet. But whatever it was joke. And actually, it was a joke based on his feelings, which you know. I don't think he's the only father who's ever said something like that. Yeah. I'm sure there's tons. Yeah. You being one of them? Anyway, my, you know, my father being another one of them Oscar ratings rise with host Lewis show say I was able to find this. This is they actually are up over all time lows, which I guess was last year in two thousand eighteen was the all time low. Oh, Nielsen ratings reporting from Detroit, Pittsburgh Cleveland Columbus in buffalo on a night. Where Spike Lee turned his back on green books. Best picture. That's very Kanye west of him. Right. Didn't you like, oh except Connie jumped up on the stage and try to take Taylor SWIFT's award away from her because he thought it should have gone to who beyond say or somebody. Anyway, of Spike Lee turned his back walk to the back, blah, blah, blah. I've heard that three times this morning. Because of a book a movie called green book. I have no idea. What that movie is? I never even heard of it seemed trailers I wanted to watch it. Yeah. It's like driving miss daisy. I didn't want. It Spike Lee said that it's like, you know, somebody driving somebody around white guy driving a black IRA taking him into parts. I think a town. I think normally you wouldn't go into maybe I don't know. Is it green book mean what is that? I don't know. Right. Nobody knows and yet at one the best movie award Olivia Colman got a best actress award, and apparently made some wonderful speech. But I don't even know what movie she was in the U. What's the favorites? Said a movie. Yeah. No, neither do I. Wasn't it lasts because that's why I don't watch him anymore. I don't even know what these movies are. Mermaid one one that horrible movie. Oh my God. That was like the worst movie, I think I've ever seen in my life. One of them. Anyway, ladies that Merman looking thing wasn't cute. Yeah. There was nothing in that movie. Compare them. And it was all like, you know, Alex Jones stuff anyway, you know, Lou than the secret hiding place in the Pentagon basement here, they have a Merman swimming around. That's what it was about. From Echo to Ring doorbell and Fire TV, are you comfortable Amazon with controlling your smart home?

"Amazon continues to expand and acquire. And by the way, they're done with the New York thing apparently AFC got her wish and Amazon's not going to build another headquarters in upstate New York. And now, everybody's piston Okaz Cortez for running off a bunch of jobs. But hey, check, you got him on that tax thing. Go you. Amazon acquired the startup. Bureau. E R O. They're a mesh router for improving dead wifi spots in your house. So Google has a version of this now to the Google wifi system, and it's an add on. So you're not changing internet service providers. You just adding this to your network, and it is such expanding and improving your wifi range, if you live in a single level, you know, seventeen eighteen hundred square foot house, and you've got your router someplace fairly central and at a high point you probably won't need this. If you're in a multilevel home, or if you've got your router often, one far corner, or for whatever reason, you can't put your router physically at a high point in the room, these ERO and Google wifi. Mesh networks are fantastic for making sure that you get good coverage all over the house, and they're not crazy expensive. Although era was a was a little bit up there. I think they were to fifty to get in the door on that. They were also according to the folks who are fans pretty privacy conscious and the concern, of course, is that Amazon's gonna do what? Amazon does and they're going to take data from these networks, not necessarily what websites you go to and that sort of thing, but how you use your network how much traffic you've got. And to a certain extent where where your outbound connections are going who are you sharing your data with? So privacy folks are kinda wigged out because this you do a firmware update. And all of a sudden Amazon's in your network when you did not buy that equipment to allow that. But more. So Amazon's got a huge lead on simple, home, automation and smart devices. When you think about it? You've got ring doorbell. You've got your Amazon echo device to take your commands to deal with your smart plugs. You dimmers? All of that about actually about the only thing that I think Amazon doesn't have just total dominion over is fill Phillips Hugh system. This is the smart light bulbs system, and it works with Amazon, it's just not owned by Amazon. But I mean, fire TV. Home security systems microwaves refrigerators being tapped into the Alexa system. So that you can you can ask Alexa. If it's time to go, buy, more eggs. Portel Alexa to order something. That's that's missing from your stock. Now, I'm a fan of the Amazon devices. I think that they work reasonably well reasonably well. And I am concerned for my privacy to a certain extent. I don't really care about Amazon trying to advertise to me something that I might be shopping for anyways. Although they have a fascinating habit of acting as if though you are going to start a collection of whatever it was. You might have bought I bought a Kershaw pocket knife a few months ago. What's a replacement for one that I had the blade broke. And I wanted to have one in hand before I did the whole Kershaw played replacement program. Every ad. I saw on any website that had any advertising affiliation with Amazon was for pocket knives. Okay. I could there are people out there who collect knives. There are people who who might have used for more than one knife or more than one kind of knife. I bought a couple of USB cables for my phone replacement charger cables to back I have been getting ads like I'm going to be in the habit of collecting USB cables as if though I a person who has no history of buying more than two charging cables ever at one time. Suddenly may be interested in buying thousands and thousands of USB cables, so that's a little silly. But okay, whatever who knows some somewhere out there. There's somebody who's really relieved to know then go to Amazon and buy a thousand USB cables.

"But if they know what they're doing. It's even worse. Okaz yo Cortez team. Flubs agree new deal, summary and Republicans pounds coral Davenport reporting for the New York Times days after introducing her green new deal plan to combat climate change that. Has won the endorsement of several democratic presidential candidates. Representative Alexandra Okaz, you'll Cortez found. The proposal in Michigan confusion when her staff published a summary that included provisions not endorsed by the candidates. Okay. A couple of things to note here. The fact and background check the backgrounder and the frequently asked questions document was posted about two days. Two days before the green new deal resolution hit the floor of the subcommittee in the house. So that's not even accurate reporting. It is not accurate that all these Democrats endorsed the green new deal, and then Okaz Cortez came out with the flood documents. She came out the flood document and then two days after that. She was forced to pull it down because the green new deal came out over the weekend. Her staff back away from the document saying it was incomplete and had been published by accident after Republicans pounced on the plan, citing a blog post of frequently asked questions, it was not a blog post. She put it up on her own campaign website. She emailed it to various media outlets is not a blog post. This is what passes reporting at the New York Times. The post include language, they called for economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work. The plan written by miss Okaz. You'll Cortez a freshman democrat from New York and Senator Edward Markey of Massachusetts was modelled on FDR's new deal and embraced by several presidential candidates. It was also welcomed by Senator Bernie Sanders the sweeping resolution which calls for the United States to eliminate additional emissions of planet. Warm in carbon dioxide by twenty thirty was also signed by more than sixty house and Senate Democrats the plan is a non-binding resolution and outlines goals in broad strokes rather than mapping out concrete legislation spokeswoman and spokesman for senators Harris, Jill brand, Booker and Sanders did not return telephone calls where emails requesting comments on the air. So shouldn't that be the headline? Shouldn't that be the headline shouldn't the headline be every democrat running for president to endorse this plan refuses to answer questions about AO sees plan for the green new deal. Shouldn't that be the headline? How is the headline Republicans pounds hell in the world is the headline Republicans react to Democrats did that's called? The New Green Deal is 'not a serious proposal for our planet'

"Much fanfare has been made about democratic congressional candidate from New York, Alexandria Okaz. Yo Cortez's green new deal will not all Democrats are happy about it though, including former President Bill Clinton advisor, Mark Penn. Who tells Fox News why he's not so happy about the deal? And what he believes it really is. Well, I've called it a little bit more of a red deal that agreed deal. In essence, if you read it, very carefully. I there are trillions and trillions of dollars of impossible programs, and then and then we'll only be decided by people from certain communities along with workers. And then there will be a guaranteed income and economic equality for even those unwilling to work. It is not a serious proposal for our planet. And it's really

Climate Change is Virtue Signaling for the Rich

"Not not a thing when it comes to climate change other than to say that climate change exists. But we'll of course climate change exists, right? We can start to reduce this down. And yes, the climate is changing. The climate is always changing, what would be bizarre is if the climate given all the factors involved stayed at exactly the same temperature globally year at an year out and for all of eternity that that would seem rather strange wouldn't it there are fluctuations in climate every day. So shouldn't there be fluctuations in the average climate every year? But nonetheless, this is obviously where they say that oh, it's about human human involvement a human caused climate change. All this stuff. Humans are the primary. They use a lot of these kind of very nonscientific words, you'll notice that humans are primary cause of climate change. Well, what percentage five fifty ninety point zero zero five? Yeah. Do I think that human beings are probably point zero zero five percent of climate change that sounds about right? My leave it at lose any sleep over that. No. But you know, what's funny? Neither or really anybody else. NBC news, which has covered itself in ignominious stank for the last few days the way it's been covering the Covington kids situation and NBC news has come out with well, they're just popularizing or or publicizing this survey that was done by who cares. I know someplace it does big surveys of climate change. And according to the latest poll data seven in ten Americans or sixty nine percent say that they are somewhat worried about global warming. Twenty nine percent say they're very worried, and who wants to bet that those are all super libs who think that Nancy Pelosi is just like so smart. She just totally cares. It up or people on the climate. And like she really wants to make everything better. Yeah. All that stuff. But what's really funny is that the the the upside of this for all the rest of us is that guess what Americans despite the knowledge of climate change, despite the numbers that say that some people pretty healthy portion of population has either some or a lot of concern about it do not want to have to do anything in terms of paying more money to deal with it. Oh, what a shock. They don't want to eat. You have your the survey showed conditional support for taxing carbon emissions found support group. The taxes. Went to preferred uses with sixty seven percent saying they approve of the changes are charges. If the money went to restore forests it's entered cetera. But the AP survey showed that Americans don't want to pay very much to fight climate change a one dollar a month fee was favored by fifty seven percent of those surveyed. However, if the monthly charge increased to ten dollars a month just twenty eight percent would be supportive while sixty eight percent would be opposed. All that's right. People are really worried about climate change ending the world because they think that the science says that right, except for the fact that they're not so worried they do not care enough that they're willing to pay even ten dollars a month. That's right. Ten dollars a month to deal with the problem. So this is why. Why I cannot take this seriously the way that lives want me to and I know that some of them, and including lip friends of mine that I'm just they think I'm nuts on climate change. And I just say what are you not get? They're wrong on this over and over again. I'm going to be right Okaz, yo Cortez and her ilk are going to be wrong. The world's not going to end it twelve years, New York, and Florida and California are not going to be underwater in twenty. I guarantee it I mean, I was telling you I can't predict the future. But there are some things I can predict, you know, maybe not with a hundred percent certain even ninety nine point nine nine nine nine nine and the world is not gonna end because of climate change in ten years or one hundred years or two thousand years, I promise you, it's not gonna happen. These people are just self-indulgent virtue signaling wackos there. I said it.

"Vera. And she wasn't rehearsing that question. Right. You can tell it wasn't rehearsed because she reaches into her pocket and pulls zero in a fully non rehearse fashion. Like she'd never heard that question producer asked asked by producer before the show. Then she complained. There's a headline from the help that says Alexander Okaz Cortez. I don't I give zero zero quotes Fs about. Democrats who don't like what I'm saying. And here's what you tweeted out. She has a gift I tell you a gift for complaining about silliness says I actually didn't say this. So well, I know Brown. Women cursing grads clicks, maybe you accurately, quote, the whole exchange instead of manipulating people into thinking. I said the sentence instead of just the word zero again, here's the headline Okaz you'll Cortez colon. But apparently this is now racist that's a racist. Headline because everything is raises everything in the world is racist. According to AFC and people love it. Folks on the left love it. In fact, a new poll shows that seventy four percents of Democrats support Alexandra Okaz Cortez says the highest approval rating in the party, she's on par with Nancy Pelosi and higher than Chuck Schumer. Pretty astonishing. So according to the poll, seventy percents seventy percent of Democrats and people who lean Democrats have a favorable opinion of. Oh, see that as opposed to seventy five have a favorable opinion of Nancy Pelosi. So she she's really she's riding the wave guys. It's pretty amazing. And even economists are now defending her because if we know something instead, economists who write for the New York Times, are brilliant brilliant. We'll get to that in a second. I let me remind you that the car that you are currently driving at some point it will break down, I want it does break down, you better hope and pray that you were under a manufacturer's warranty. "Go check them out right now. Okay. So meanwhile, the Democratic Party is moving leftward radically, and leading that charge is, of course, the effervescence Alexandria, Akhazia Cortez. That is the thing that really matters right now. That's the thing is that Alexandra causing. Cortez effervescent. She's she's fantastic. And they're moving in radical directions. So example, Alexander Okaz, your Cortez said something that was neither morally nor factually true, but demonstrates the catastrophic thinking that has taken over the Democratic Party shoe speaking yesterday, and she says that millennials believed that the world will end in twelve years. Okay. Nostradamus laying on us. The world is going to end in twelve years if we don't address climate change and your biggest issue is. Your biggest issue is how are we going to pay for it? And like, this is the war. This is our World War Two. So much sciences so much silencing. Can she was like an exact date may can make a movie about it? There was twenty twelve and it came out a few years ago like in two thousand twelve about the end of the world and Mayan prophecies or something can she like, I think when she does that when the world's going to end in like twelve years, I know first of all, I know someone speaking signs when they add the word like before their estimate of a disaster when they say things akin to when they hit something like the world is going to end in like fifty two years, I to take it super seriously because of the like the proceeds the twelve years. That's that's really where I know. It's going also I find it hilarious that Alexandra Okaz has is making the claim that the world is going to end in twelve years. So we have to do everything we can it's just like World War Two like web who. Give. So we gotta do everything. It's a crisis. We gotta do like worry about how much money things are gonna cost now. Like who's going to care? We're all gonna be dead. Yo like. Like. Okay. Let let's assume that through let's assume the world is ending in twelve years. First of all nothing, you do now is gonna stop what's going to happen in twelve years if the climate science really suggested that in twelve years, we're all gonna be dead that there's going to be a giant fireball from the sky that fries the earth. Ain't nothing. You can do about it and you paying higher taxes in the problem either number two if that really if it's preventable. If Alexander Okaz Cortez believes, the global warming is going to kill us all in twelve years, and what it really requires us to get together. A crew comprised of Ben Affleck and Bruce Willis to go on a space mission to the sun to stop the sun from killing us all in twelve years. Maybe she should trade some of her legislative priorities for all the money necessary to make this happen. So proposal to congressional Democrats. If you believe that the crisis of humankind is dependent on your tax rates. Why don't you just say how about this? How about this? We'll just go full pro-life will ban all abortions. Right. No, more abortions. And for that. We will trade these spending that you want seems like a pretty good. He'll after all we're preserving the future of humanity here..

"Does dropping a who cares? And the media thinking, this is just terrible. This of course, prompted Alexandra Okaz Cortez to say, well, actually, actually, the president knows who I am and cares deeply she wrote back. I bartended for years in New York City. I understand guys like this like the back of my hand, we got under his skin at first of all I'm glad she's qualified for something qualified to be in congress. I'm very happy. She's qualified to adjudicate when somebody actually wants to know what she thinks because you pour drinks for people for many years isn't Elliot's fine for bartenders being congress. But I don't know that that gives them tremendous expertise on economic theory foreign policy things that are not bartender. I I sort of feel the same way about all professions. I'm a lawyer by trade that doesn't mean I know a thing about plumbing. But for some reason, it's actually like a point in Alexandra Okaz Cortez's favor that she doesn't know anything about anything. This means the congress person, then she started. Whining about how the media are mean to her. She she tweeted out this White House administration has made having a functional understanding of race in America. One of the most important core. Competencies for political journalist to have yet. CBS news hasn't assigned a single black journalists to cover the twenty twenty election unacceptable in two thousand nineteen try again, I liked it. Dentist is having a core. Competency in dealing with race as being of that race. And this is the intersectional idea brought to its apotheosis brought to a head is the idea that you can't understand race in America unless you are a member of a minority. Do you understand how fundamental the black experiences to American politics and American history? Well, she's not black. I don't know how understands it's just one race isn't substitute for another. It doesn't work like that. It's not about quotas. It's about understanding the country, you're living in the understand the reason she's going after CBS news is CBS news wrote a critical story about her. So she called them racist. And when a journalist pointed this out, she wrote back also I never called anyone racing. I just inadequate also never called for strict quotas just having representation of one of the most fundamental voting blocks in the American electorate that last part that's called the quota or he says also never called for strict quotas but having representation including black person, that's like that is definitional equality. The reason that I bring up a big article in the New York Times today about how she's pushing Democrats to the left whether they like it or not. This is one of my favorite things about the New York Times coverage. They have the hero shot of Alexander Okaz Cortez. Standing in Nancy, Pelosi's foyer, she so heroic. She's pushing the Democrats in the left whether they lake she's so powerful, Alexandra. I mean, it's unreal. How powerful she is this brash new comer? Here's the New York Times writes, not so long ago left wing activists were dismissed as fringe or even cookie when they pressed for proposals to tax the super rich at seventy percents to produce all of America's power the renewable resources or to abolish immigration customs Ford. Then along came Alexandra Okaz, your Cortez and for social media, megaphone in the two months since her election missile Cossio Cortez's had the uncanny ability for a first time member of congress to push the debate inside the Democratic Party sharply to the left forcing party leaders in twenty twenty presidential candidates, so grapple with issues that some might otherwise prefer to avoid. Wow. She's amazing. She can mix a Dachary the potential democratic field in twenty twenty is already being quizzed about her Senator Kamala Harris praised her on the view because Senator Kamala Harris is a sellout. When it comes to her own policies emulating her digital tactics. Senator Elizabeth Warren held an Instagram chat in her kitchen looked much like one of miss Okaz Cossio Cortez's sessions, and embracing some of her causes this Lauren and Senator Cory Booker among others have recently endorsed the idea of a green new deal a call to reimagining environment. First economy that would phase out fossil fuels imagine. A Matt reimagined it use your imagination like reading rainbow missile Cossio, Cortez thrust that issue into the national dialogue after she joined a sit in protest in the office, then incoming house speaker Representative Nancy Pelosi in one of her first rebellious acts in Washington note that was not a rebellious actually coordinated it with Nancy Pelosi beforehand, and then endorsed Nancy Pelosi's environmental policy. New York Times really playing her up. Now, the reason that this is important is because the Democrats basically had a choice in the aftermath of President Trump's election. They said they didn't like the President Trump was social media active. They didn't like the President Trump was the celebrity politician. They didn't like the President Trump was reality TV star with more sizzle than steak. They didn't like any of those things. President Trump was an amateur and incompetent rank amateur according to the left, and so they had two choices. One was they can move into more policy Centric direction, the adults in the room and the other ones they could go find their own Trump, Alexandra Okaz Cortes is the Trump of the left. That's what she is. And the left is worshiping her for it. So next time you hear the left talk about how president from no experience. What are his qualifications? He doesn't know anything. All you have to do is point to a picture of Alexandra Okaz causing Cortes and say, right. What are the things that? She knows what qualifies her why she a superstar there. At least six distinct ways in which Alexandra Okaz Cortes is the leftist Trump number one. She accomplished a thing and her supporters say that because she accomplished a thing this is now a qualification. So she wanted democratic primary in a totally blew district and the media treated, this is a shocking amazing win because she defeated a guy named Joe Crowley, very few people outside of sort of political Centric circles ever heard of she beat him. And she was a member of the democratic socialists of America, and she was twenty nine. Ooh, now, they neglected to mention a few facts about this number one the district in which she was running was eighteen point four percent white. Joe Crowley was right. Her district is four point nine forty nine point eight. Percent, Hispanic Okaz. Of course has Hispanic second. Oh, Cossio Cortes won a grand total of fifteen thousand nine hundred eighty seven votes in a primary fifteen thousand nine hundred eighty seven votes in the primary she defeated him by something like four thousand votes. The population of the district is about seven hundred thousand. So in other words, seven people voted and four of the motive for Okaz, you'll Cortez and this makes her a national political figure, and that is her sole claim to fame it's legitimately the only reason that she's famous. This is the same thing as President Trump won a primary. Right. He won the he won the New Hampshire primary, and then all the sudden it was like, wow. Look at this guy. This means he's qualified to be president because he wins. And all we need is somebody who is the Democrats are doing the same thing with Okaz, Joe Cortez in facts are prior lack of qualifications is the reason. Democrats are now touting her very much like Trump from came out of nowhere. And the idea was here was the amateur defeating politicians that means he has the secret sauce. Well, Cossio Cortez is doing the same thing. She's utterly unqualified for anything. But she's now in. Congress which means she must know things that the professional politicians don't his that's reason number one is that she won. And therefore, her supporters think this means that she's qualified for office, which is not quite the same thing to the media cannot stop covering Alexander causing Cortez in the same way. They couldn't stop covering Trump. Remember two thousand fifteen two thousand sixteen the media gave president from two billion dollars in free media coverage was the same thing with ocasio Cortes, you cannot escape Okaz Cortez in the mainstream media she's being treated as the head of a movement that does not statistically exist. She endorsed a bevy of primary candidates in the last election cycle, most of them lost. She she's been elevated to the highest ranks of the Democratic Party in the public eye. But she doesn't even have a decent committee assignments. But she's great at earn medias. The media just keep covering her. They just keep covering us. That's reason number two, and they keep covering her because she has great social media, which is reason number three. She's very similar to President Trump is not just the mainstream media have covered her incessantly. It's that she's very good at social media. Right. She did her her Instagram instant pot cooking making like shrimp curry while discussing why we gotta tax the rich into oblivion. And then there was that video of her dancing from college. I guess that's supposedly the right wing was angry about, but they weren't actually angry about it. Her Twitter account is very active and very personal. And she plays the politics of personal risk of personality. Really, really? Well, she basically, she's she's a reality TV star in the same way. The Trump was she's great social media. She makes her own reality TV, and she's the star of that reality TV, and most of all one of the reasons that she's really good at social media is she looks like she's having fun, which is an underrated equality. You'll recall early on before President Trump actually became president. He looked like he was having fun running well Alexandro, causing Cortez has sort of the same thing and Democrats have embrace it. I'm gonna give you the other three reasons that she is very much like President Trump in just one second. Why the left has demonstrated that all of their critiques of Trump being unprecedented. They're really, really vulgar. I'll get to that. In just second. First. Let's talk about your healthcare plan. So here's some good.

And and I told my church gyms who I loved dearly who the hell you think gonna pay for it. The tax payer. And they mentioned rather prominently. Newly elected Representative Alexandria Okaz geo Cortes, she called President Donald Trump a racist. Clear and simple, and I told her he is not. And she talked about the greatness. Of the Democratic Party. And I have pointed out in case, you just joined us the fact that the Democratic Party, historically, speaking. As the party of slavery. And segregation. I'm not going to tell you that there were not racist. Republicans in history. But comparatively speaking the Republicans have done more for minorities, not just blacks for Hispanics and other was then a Democrats or Democrats, ladies and gentlemen. I've also talked about a gentleman she mentioned on a couple of talk shows Marc Lamont hill black professor who gets fired her saying negative things, and he should have been fired. So give me a call with your response. And we will get to the FBI and that debacle nine zero one five three five nine seven three two. Marc Lamont hill. And you probably will remember these well-spoken college professor, and he was on CNN. He stated that racial division. White supremacy. His words not Andrew LA bells is Louis Farrakhan, who you and I both know is a despot and a racist himself. And I got the facts, ladies and gentleman some of the things he said, I can't play it on this radio station. Because there is profanity among it. In the gist of it Farrakhan last year said white folks that are going down and Satan is going down because he's among them is fair cons words, and by God's grace. We will pull the cover off of listening these satanic Jews now. I love my church members. I truly do in. We're there. We're there to glorify Jesus stolley spirit at all. And I try not to get political or try. Not to be the talk show host McGinley after this. They open that door. So I have to respond. Ladies and gentleman. And I go to the phones in a minute. Now. Let me say to you those of you that are Trump painting blacks, those of you, go Trump braces. I'm going to rattle off the list of racial sand supposedly committed by Trump that you hear notably. Trump organization's nineteen seventy five consent decree hotel callers. Please don't go. That's one of the things that one of my church members trotted out. Well, Trump and his daddy. Wouldn't let black folks in their apartments. Trump before the ratio decree before they consent decree and the lawsuit. A month. After Trump went to work for him is when it went to court, Trump beating workforce. Daddy. He went to work after the fact, but yet he gets blamed for it. And he has done many things before he was president. That he certainly be criticized for, but there there are no facts that you can substantiate where Trump has discriminate against blacks as Senator what else? So what I say to you. If being sued for racial discrimination, which is father was. I can take you through a number of newspapers. Let's go to one because I want to get to your calls Esco to the Washington Post. Ladies and gentlemen, the Washington Post quietly settled a racial discrimination suit by twelve blacks and four women. This was a four year legal battle. In two thousand seventeen you didn't hear by because he didn't want you to know about it. They said well we won't admit any wrongdoing. But yet they played they paid olive blacks and the women's several hundred thousand dollars, and this is a liberal newspaper. And I got a bunch of the facts that I will get to. But I wanna get your calls. Let's go to Rahim. He was there. First brother Rahim. How are you? Andrew doing today breath. I'm just trying to get the truth out there. We open a government beco-. We'll go. Hello. We gotta go one. I don't know. I don't know. Yes. I do care. I have family members that have federal employees. Let me ask you. Let me ask you a question. "But he's certainly given a voice to it an expanded and created a platform for those things. Do you believe President Trump is a racist? Yeah. How can say that? When you look at the words that he uses which are historic dog whistles of white supremacy. When you look at how he reacted to the Charlottesville incident where MIO Nazis murdered a woman versus how he manufacturers crises like immigrants seeking legal refuge on our borders. It's it's night and day in response to the White House deputy press secretary told us congresswoman Okaz, yo Cortez's, sheer ignorance on the matter can't cover the fact that President Trump supported and past historic criminal Justice reform and has repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms, one of the few things Okaz, you Cortez hasn't come with the president is an active and often combative presence on social media. When a conservative writer tweeted this photo of her saying that jacket and coat. Don't look like a girl who struggles she called him out for what? She said was misogyny. Would you be taking a creep shot of Steny Hoyer is behind and sharing it around? Why is there more comfort in doing that to me then there is in doing it to any other member of congress eliminating the influence of corporate money in politics is another one of Okaz Cortez's signature issues. Most of her campaign funds came from small donations of two hundred dollars or less. She did accept some money from labor unions, which he refuses to take any contributions from.

"Alexandra Okaz has the new face of the Democrats. I didn't choose her people. It's not my fault. I'm talking about her you all chose her in the media. And then you wind when we discuss her actual, stupid ideas. So Alexander ocasio Cortez puts out this plan. And then she's asked he's on sixty minutes. Remember, she is new face. The new face. Not my fault you picked her morons K. So she's the new face. Okay. So she, and here's what she says she has asked. So how are we gonna pay for all of this her answer? Of course, is we're going to raise taxes massively on the rich. Here is her dumb answer again, much better a dancing than economics, Alexandria, Okaz. Of course, as as sometimes you see tax rates as high as sixty or seventy percents that doesn't mean all ten million dollars taxed at an extremely high rate. But it means that as you climb up this ladder, you should be contributing more. Would you are talking? They're just big picture is a radical agenda compared to the way politics is done right now. Do you call yourself a radical? Yeah. You know, if that's what radical means. Call me a radical. Okay. Well, I will you're a radical. You weren't insane radical when she says, oh, thanks for explaining marginal tax rates to me Alexandro causing Cortez. Now, what be awesome if she explained how much money the people in the top quintile of the United States paying federal income tax. Okay. Here is. The latest statistics this is from April of two thousand eighteen for two thousand eighteen the reality is that top earners top IRS will pay the overwhelming majority of all taxes in the United States houses in the top. Twenty percent will have income of about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars or more and fifty two percents of total income, they'll pay eighty seven percent of all income taxes. Eighty seven percents of all income taxes are paid for by the people in the top twenty percent of income earners. But by the way, it's worth noting here that America has the most progressive tax system in the entire industrialized world K that if you're a say progressive, I mean, the more money you make more money you pay. This is true or in America than it is in any of the European countries. That Alexander Okaz Cortez is talking about the reality is that in order to pay for all of her dot awful terrible regulatory economy crushing programs should have to raise taxes radically on people who are lower down on the income scale. And when you hear people like Bernie Sanders said things like well back into of JFK marginal toxoid was ninety one. Why cannot we that? Now. A few quick note about this point number one the top marginal tax rates in the day of Eisenhower JFK was indeed ninety one percent. But that was for people who earn filing jointly three point four million dollars in inflation adjusted dollars the top marginal tax rate in the United States today kicks in about four hundred thousand dollars. It's not the same thing to even that ninety one percent top marginal tax rate was never paid for by anyone the effective tax rate for people making that amount of money in nineteen fifty five was about forty five percent why because everybody was shielding their income because of the lower corporate tax rate and also because until at that point you're actually allowed to deduct on your taxes depreciation on all loans and depreciation on all real estate. So people just weren't paying that tax rate is the reality. And the economy was good because people weren't actually paying that tax rate for every year between nineteen fifty two in two thousand fourteen the government brought in between seventeen and twenty percents of GDP in tax revenue. And between seven and nine percents of GDP in income tax revenue. So she's the lie to suggest the taxes used to be so high and the economy was also when the taxes were super duper high people just weren't paying them. They just were not paying them. If you really believe that you can do this to the tax rates, and that magically everything will be okay, you're an idiot. And by all the proposals. They're talking about these these Medicare for all studies guy Benson. Put this together. A few months ago. He talked about how to raise tax rates to pay for for AOL sees and Bernie Sanders Medicare for all nonsense. And here's what he came up with. Here's what you have to do you have to raise the payroll tax paid for by workers and employers by ten percentage points for everyone. Hey for the workers and the employer. So that's a twenty percent increase impose a brand. New twenty percent national sales tax and hike income tax rates across the board for poor people middle class people and rich people by ten percentage points, not one of those all of those coming up. The Democrats aren't just pushing enormous spending programs and universal basic income and Medicare for all in green jobs economy and unionize all the workers and tax everybody at one hundred and thirty seven.

"Claim asylum, and we can see if you qualify real claims of asylum. Get granted people with real threats against their lives. But if you notice from this caravan the people being interviewed it's all about economics. It's not about asylum. And the ones who truly are looking for asylum. Why didn't they stop at the countries along the way to the United States of America? Either southward or northward I mean, if you weren't coming to American you were going south. There are plenty of countries you could claim asylum for and by the way, are you telling me that every place in your country is so dangerous that no one can live there. Then how are people living there? I mean, it gets a little bit crazy here with this really is is about open borders, and that's what they want. And so they're trying to play on your religion to get you to think that that's what Jesus would want you to Jesus want you to say, there are no borders. Everybody can come in. The problem with that is what would that do to our country? You realize there are hundreds of millions of people around the planet who would love to come to the United States of America to live. We have three hundred twenty million. We've already got somewhere between twelve and twenty million illegal aliens, we take in. Close to two million a year from all around the world legally. Well, how how many? Americans donate four hundred ten billion dollars the last year four hundred ten billion dollars to charities and we can do that. Because we're very rich nation you destroy this economy. Where's that money going to come from? So first of all she's totally wrong on the idea that Jesus was a refugee baby in Bethlehem. And that's what I was. But then we move on where they're saying. Well, what she really is talking about is when Mary and Joseph had to flee Herod in order to see save Jesus life because king Herod talked about, you know, we're going to kill all the all the babies because he wanted to make sure that Jesus was dead. So many on social media said down on an no, that's that's not true. One was father Frank Pavone director of priests for life. Tweet out this Alexandria. Oh Cossio Cortes in her Christmas tweet mistakenly called Jesus in the manger a refugee, but if she meant his family fleeing from the murderous threats of Herod that is more akin to the Democrats pushing for abortion than to anything at real Donald Trump does. Oh, the Democrats don't wanna talk about that. They don't want to talk about what Jesus opinion on abortion would be. No, no, no. We don't wanna follow everything. Jesus says we just wanna make it seem like these refugee so that you will have to accept anybody. Whoever makes it to the United States of America and restore it all of our immigration laws. Derek hunter daily caller said Mary Joseph foreign refugees more on they were on their way to pay their taxes as mandated by Rome. You're now Rome, by the way. True. But here's the other thing in. It was a great piece here by Taylor Millard over it. Hot air saying Jesus flight from heritage is not the same thing as refugees fleeing war Jesus Jesus Joseph and Mary's flight was to escape king Harris decree for the death of all newborns. They cross from Judea into Egypt. Here's the problem. Neither day nor Egypt were independent kingdoms. At the time. There were both provinces of the Roman empire. Egypt was under direct Roman control a prefect served as governor. Now Judeo was a little bit different king Herod had some autonomy. But was still under Roman rule as a client king? In fact, Flavius Josephus wrote of Herod subservience to Rome in his Thome, the war of the Jews of the destruction of Jerusalem. So look Herod had to adhere to it Caesar. Wanted. That's why the census was ordered. And even had to request permission to punish his own sons. Now, he had some autonomy. But his power came from Rome, and he had to do with Caesar wished the the flight from Judea to Egypt will be like you fleeing from Texas to Oklahoma or New York to Connecticut or Florida to Georgia. It was more like going from one state to another because they were all under the Roman empire. And there was no law being violated to do that. Nice. Try though Okaz Cortes. These are the people who are claim that President Trump politicises things. They're trying to politicize Christmas. They're trying to politicize Jesus on the run from Herod. They're trying to compare that to actually enforcing our immigration laws. And there are people who buy it. I Don sometimes I'm like what what is going on. How can people by this stuff? How can they really believe it? Oh and also Cortez. Put out a second tweet. She superimpose religious haloes on the heads of an illegal alien family trying to come in the Sherwood. It looks like we're trying to do. And she she she wrote this true love is radical. Because it requires us to see ourselves in all people, otherwise it isn't love. Yeah. I have -solutely agree. We need to have love for all. I don't hate anyone trying to come into this country illegally. Not at all. I'm a first generation American. I totally get one to come here. But my parents, my mom and my aunt and my grandma came in legally by the law, and they had a sponsor, and they never cost the government any money. They never went on welfare. They never went ahead housing that every day because you're not supposed to do that. When you come here as an immigrant because we got enough poor people. How dare you saying we shouldn't take poor people in what happened to give us your tired? Your poor those young earning to be free. Well, those people had to make it on their own. There was no Medicare, Medicaid, welfare food stamps. There was none of that stuff. When that poem was written for the statue of liberty. But now there is. The way there were still rules to come in a lot of people were sent away as they were coming into Ellis Island. They were turned around the sent back home and a lotta people came and couldn't make it went back home. Because you can't take everybody. You can't take in so many people, and it's such a socioeconomic situation that it destroys what you have and harms the people that the American government is supposed to protect first and foremost, which is the American citizen second the people who are legal residents. But certainly not for people who really have no right to be here at all. Well, then it would don't you care about this people. Absolutely. I care about those people which is why we try to do everything we can to help them, which is why we have four hundred and ten billion dollars that Americans donate to charity every year. And we've got how many Americans that go on mission trips, and how many Americans that do volunteer work and how many Americans who try as hard as they can to help people all around the planet. But you you have to have some kind of law. Don't you? Not according to okays, your Cortez because if you think that we should actually enforce our immigration law that by the way, these laws were by partisan laws and not too long ago, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama Bill Clinton Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama was saying the same things that I'm saying not very long ago at all. But if you say that now today that means you hate Jesus. Oh, plus, you know, we're killing these migrants. Yeah. Another migrant child died in our custody Christmas Eve, we don't even care about. We want them to die. This is what you want from the Trump administration will as you. Get more details about it. The father of the Guatemalan child who died Christmas Eve. That child had already received treatment in a hospital had received medication. Both the father and the child together we're putting temporary holding facility. The agents they're checked on the child gave him his medication. But a few hours after they got their the child complained of being nauseous. Vomited? They came to help them the father denied declined further medical treatment for his son told officials in Ohio, my son's been feeling better. They checked him again later said this get needs to go to the hospital. He lost consciousness during transit eventually declared dead just before midnight. It's horrible the second child that has died in custody. But do people really think that anyone in our border patrol anyone in in immigration and customs enforcement, any of these doctors any of these nurses want these children to die. Can you really believe that? They see these people face to face. They want to help these people. This is why they signed up. They're there to help the people that are force BP border patrol nicer there to help the people and enforce our laws, the doctors, and nurses are just there to help the people. I want the guy in fact that led to what the department homeland security is calling for to help these children and these refugees I'm gonna get to that in just a second. Love your phone calls on it. "Of questions These families will have closure So Laura for you as a North, Korea specialist in your government as what were you thinking and feeling if, you saw that last night So I think all of us hope that those remains are in fact the remains of our fallen servicemembers and there is nothing more important in terms of being true to the commitment. Of those who make the ultimate sacrifice for our country and their, families to bring them home and to give him a final resting place and so if these remains, are in fact of US service members it's an incredibly important and welcome development both for these families to be able, to get, some closure but also in terms, of seeing the kind of step from? The North Koreans that you know should? Should, happen really regardless anyways we're saying if these actual remains are you skeptical about this whole thing do I hear this in your. Voice well we have had reasons there have been instances in the, past where the North Koreans have returned remains for one purpose or another That ended up not being remains that they said. They were, or in fact in some cases weren't even human and so I think one of the things that's going to. Happen with these remains now there has not been a process by US, forensic experts to begin to determine who these remains belong to you that process will take quite some time I think it's incredibly important that we do we do that and of course they're going to do their utmost to identify the individual service members. If that's if that's who they are but I think it is, important to recognize that you know very they we need to see that validation the last thing I, would note is of course there were a number of countries that fought in the war was a UN mission and, so you, know there there is a possibility, that these are remains of other countries? Service members who fought alongside us there? As, well but we we need to sort of see what comes of that and Jamie just briefly for you as an Iran specialist When you worked in the Bush, administration should Trump talk to Hani. Like he talked to Kim Jong UN and produced at least this result however however hazy, it is no I I'm skeptical of President Trump's approach to authoritarians whether it's Kim Jong UN in North Korea. Or the the mall is in Iran. And I fear that he's making some significant. Mistakes and how he's approaching both countries at the end of the day these are rogue regimes that do not share our interests that are. Using things like the remains of fallen American heroes and kidnapped, Americans, in, both cases as well to try. To barter for better political relationships are economic gain and that's just something where you need to be fundamentally skeptical of and and treat.
