"Julian welcome to talk by enemy. Thank you it's great to have you here. We've got a bunch of fun stuff to talk about. It's really interesting to think about how we go about building software at scale and one of the things it just under a how you feel about reading your book. I feel like you must have some opinions on this. But when i go to a website that is clearly not a small little companies. It's obviously a large company with money to put behind professional developers and stuff in you click on it and it takes four seconds for every page load. It's just like how is it possible that you're building the software with so much. This is the face of your business is sometimes they decide to fix it with front frameworks. So then you get like a quick splash of like a box with owi and then it says loading for four seconds which to me feels no better. So i don't know. I i feel like building scalable. Software is really important. It's still people are getting it quite wrong quite often. I'm in it's all it's all also. There's a lot of things to do when you do that. Which lie right kober call for sure that also going to be able to mature everything like win there. Somewhere the be It's not easy bar like writing code and facing berg's is dominant. We all know to do that. But then if we are asking us up to one of the things that i as an example with profiling. While if i were to ask you more like i want you to tell me which parts your code is using some of the view. You're gone gaz. Uganda probably do a good gas. Most of the time but for real you don't know you have no clue until you actually look at. The data was profile or any two for being that will give you information.

I've now got to the office of war information machine, and that's one of the most interesting things that really observable here on Columbia's newsroom this morning at three thirty. The OWI machine has been almost entirely silent while all the other machines have been hammering out there news, the Owi has put out only one report this morning, which says. Says the Romanian radio reports enemy planes over Belgrade and that report came in at three o one in the morning, other words about half an hour ago on the Owi Iowa. It seems that the W. "More. You know if you're in a public place. How did you get there? You know it's less likely to think the you were doing something innocent, not moving if you're in a public place. Could you gotTa Owi for driving a golf cart trunk. Yes. Yeah, absolutely! A golf cart is a motor vehicle. In an activist statute doesn't even say motor-vehicle anymore. It just says vehicle. Um and so yes, it is. any vehicle which is. Anything that is essentially pushed by. A mechanical. Scheme is. A vehicle, so that includes scooters bicycles mopeds. Man Golf Carts Yeah. Let's say they're to people on a car. The driver is not drunk, not under the influence of any drugs, but there is a passenger drinking. Is that okay? We'll the pastors not allowed to have an open container in a vehicle so if if he's drinking in the car? That's illegal. That's why because see misdemeanor The. But the pasture can I is not operating vehicle in that scenario, so they wouldn't get an Owi. It is also possible to get a public intoxication charge. From writing in a car while intoxicated There was I think a somewhat high-profile least among lawyers case several years ago where woman was a passenger in a taxi and she ended up getting arrested for public intoxication where she was a passenger car. That's what it was. She was basinger in a car and she got arrested for public intoxication. It was. Understanding how! Those investigations go what happened is the driver of the car was also intoxicated, and so they couldn't let her drive the car away because she was also drunk, and it was in a bad neighborhood so they didn't I don't think the officer felt comfortable, letting her walk to wherever she needed to go in that neighborhood so he felt like my guess is. He felt like the only thing he could do was arrested for public intoxication. Then some prosecutor filed the case which they don't usually do, but they.

"Actually I think I had. A I was prosecuting. You picked up three in like a month or something like that So they're all misdemeanors, which is the first thing which seems weird, but until you've been convicted of one they can't enhance the other ones, so all three would be misdemeanors. But. They're. Indiana man's sound or release on his own recognizance if he didn't have a bond Can potentially be revoked for the second and third arrests. There's a point where if you keep doing that? Even in the more liberal type places like Indianapolis that you will be held. On Bond, you can't make or no bond until your cases are resolved, and it destroys any leverage. You have to try to get the prosecutor to do anything. Different or a little easier better for you because when he knows, you're in custody, and that you'll take anything to get out. He has no incentive to cut your breaks or try to get it over with quick because. He knows that if he just walks away from the negotiation, you'll just be sitting in jail and that's worse than whatever you're gonNA. Get Anyway so. You destroy. All your leverage to negotiate when you do stuff like that. So what would be the penalties for someone who received two OWI's within a seven year timeframe in Indiana. Until level, six felony, so at six months up to two and a half years probation jail time. Home detention you know any any range of penalties that come along with that. How likely is it? For someone who received Owi to spend time in jail. Like how many do you have to get to sit in jail, or is it common to get Owi's and not do much shells high? That's just not a kind of. The that an attorney Kenny Answer each during his diction is different. Each judges different You know you're GONNA get treated differently regarding bond, custody, post, conviction, and Marion county than you are in a rural county So that's why oftentimes you asked me. This question I'm like well. This is the minimum. This is the maximum because any of those are possible on it. Just kinda depends, you know. Where did you get arrested? And then I can tell you while you're more likely to get towards this or that, but I mean there's there's not hard and fast answers to these questions. Yes, I get these sorts of questions from people who call a lot and I I tell most of them about the same thing, which is you know I'd love to be able to tell you. You! This is what's going to happen and I. Guarantee You that, but there are no guarantees in criminal law and If you find a lawyer that will give you a guarantee that this is going to happen, or that's going to happen you should turn and run because that lawyer does not know what they're talking about it is..

"You're going to jail or not I, don't know. So, let's say they decided to arrest you because you fail the test, they're pretty sure you're under the influence of alcohol. What happens to your vehicle? They will typically tow it unless you managed to park it legally in a place that it can stay. But, yeah, otherwise they call a wrecker and they tow your truck or your car and they They'll search it before they do that so sometimes. They find additional evidence against you when they're doing that. Either evidence that you're possessing something else in your car, you shouldn't have or They'll find you know empty. Alcohol containers or something like that that. Makes you look worse so that's? That's usually what happens to your car. You will also be held up nine first time offenders. O. Is you're you're just GONNA get out, but they will hold you in custody until you are at least under the legal limit they've got. Hold you till you silver up. What does Oh Armeane? Oh, released on your own recognizance meaning that you're not gonNA to have to pay money to be released from custody. You're released on your promise. To come back. Now, let's say that there was a child in the car what happens to? The child, they're not gonNA. Tell the car with the kid in it. Right. Yes, they have a specific yard where they take nothing but cars with small children in them and And they're. They're kept their and fed and watered until no. They don't do that first of all. If you have a child in your car while you're driving while intoxicated, it increases the level of your offense so Where that would normally just be a misdemeanor becomes a level six felony. If you have a child in the car Typically I believe what they what they try to do. Is Find the other parent so that or another? responsible adult who can come pick up the child. But if they can't horror. If there just isn't anyone that can come do that. Then, you know because for example chats. Grandma's also drunk or whatever Then, they call the Department of Child Services and the child goes into foster care at least for a little while so it it can have really devastating results and just really unfortunate situations can come up in that in that scenario. So. Let's say for example somebody was. Pulled over there being arrested for an Owi in it's the first time they've ever received such a charge. How bad is that for them? Like what can they expect as far as penalties and consequences?.

Where they checked to see. If your is track smoothly up and down rather than left and right and that gives them some clue, but. There also true that sometimes they don't know exactly what you're on, and they don't have to know exactly what you're on. They just have to have probable cause to believe you're intoxicated. Then they go get a warrant and the judge typically signs it. And then they will draw your blood either..

I just told them admitted it right. Kathy. I'm fine. Thank you good very funny. But at least she's fine. During a pandemic. So today we're going to talk about Oh w is. We're GONNA. Jump right into it. and. Owi is operating while intoxicated, and then there's a Dui which is driving under the influence which. Is Right in Indiana's, and is there a difference between the two? The current language of the law is operating while intoxicated. I'm not sure for the entire reasons why they changed Dui was also driving under the influence. I think the connotation with Dui was alcohol operating while intoxicated the way the law has been written. has been developing to encompass all forms of intoxication whether it's prescription, drugs or marijuana or methamphetamine so the proper term in Indiana's operating while intoxicated. It even includes being intoxicated on your love. Note doesn't true. So For the police though that she were intoxicated. How do they find that information out? It can happen. A lot of different ways but the most common way is. They. Catch you breaking some minor traffic law and pull you over for that, and then when they see you during the part where they ask you for your license license and registration They noticed some things that lead them to think. You're intoxicated and they're trained to look for those things so so they usually spot them, and then they go from there. You can get an ob Wi with different drugs intoxicating your body like how can they tell what type of drug is like? If it's alcohol, or if you're be smoked weed in a car like? How would they be able to differentiate between the two? Or even prescription pills well. Sometimes? They can tell sort of a general class or a specific drug based on the type of..

"Our show pulls up and it is going crazy. So I wanna give it I'm gonna give it and talk about it about ten fifteen today, and it has to do with, and I talked about this last week in San Francisco, there, actually they had a movement towards cashless restaurants and retail establishments. They said hold on. You're not doing it. While now we're talking about in Milwaukee, some great reporting locally here. And the question is this several Milwaukee area restaurants, and food, vendors are going, cashless was customers required to pay with credit card or debit cards? This is even happening at Pfizer form, some vendors there that are cashless. I didn't even know that. So I read the story, so I'm asking the question, do you think this policy discriminates against the poorest members of our community? And we've got over five hundred votes ready. This is going to blow up way and now Facebook at Facebook dot com slash six twenty WTMJ or Twitter at six six twenty WTMJ. Lemme know we're gonna talk about it at ten fifteen today. All right. Drunk driving in the state of Wisconsin. Unless you're living in an igloo in northern Wisconsin. It's probably still has snow at this late in the year. We all know this is a problem. We drink too much. We drink and drive. You can shake your head at me if you want. Across the radio Airways, but that's the reality, we drink more than most states. We celebrated in many ways that culture and unfortunately far too many people get intervals after their over the limit. And that's the sad part. I saw the story on today's team Jay four yesterday and it's done by Benjamin played some of that for you. And then we're going to talk about it is it actually going to make a difference in the problem of alcohol and driving in Wisconsin proposal would allow first time OWI offenders with a blood alcohol. Content lesson point one five to install one of these and ignition interlock system. And as long as they don't have any other incidents that OWI would come off the record when one in ten people in the state have. No, w I it's hard to find someone who hasn't been impacted by drunk driving. Milwaukee's? Marlene Ridgway knows plenty got too many people on the road, stinking. All it's not going to happen to me. Wisconsin DOT records show, more than four hundred fifty thousand Wisconsin drivers have at least one OWI conviction. But now new offenders could have the opportunity to help themselves clean their own record on. Fortunately, we have a drinking and driving culture. Senator Chris Larson says the voluntary ignition interlock idea came from a nationwide push by mothers against drunk driving. But the hope is that there's no recidivism that.

What am I province is this? Whatever somebody's arrested for some terrible thing. The put this thing at the end of the story if convicted the person can get and then they list up all the possible maximum editor at eighteen million years in prison. Ben months later when the person is actually sentenced said, they get a tiny fraction of that. There's never any follow up to question. The people involved in the decision as to why a person who could have gotten such a strong punishment ends up getting almost no punishment at all. This combined with the fact that over time people lose their anger over things. Forget about it in aren't mad anymore. I remember the story is only a few months ago when it came out it was late last year. It was the case of the child that ended up in the toll lot mother was drunk passed out take it into custody for OWI one child take it out of the vehicle with her. She never even told anybody that there was a four year old sleep it in the back seat. The police officer didn't notice the child the vehicle was towed away. She was charged with a number of felonies misdemeanors in connection with the crime. She entered into a plea deal. That was accepted by Milwaukee county, Circuit Judge, David Feis. The end up dismissing number of the chargers, and she agrees to plead guilty to three of them. Listen to the punishment and listen to how in the end it amounts to virtually nothing for this woman. Remember, a number of the charges were dismissed but read into the record is part of the plea deal read into the record. But David didn't do anything about it. Because he ratified the soft deal that was given to him by the prosecutor and the defense attorney. On the first count of OWI operating while intoxicated. One hundred twenty days in the house of correction. Eighty five of them are already served that means she's only got thirty five left. They include Huber privileges. That means she could leave in the league in the daytime. She's only in the house of correction at night. Then on the second OWI charge six months of the house of correction consecutive to w I one pay a seven hundred dollar fine and released for work treatment. "Dr. That was going to get an Email about a you know this. This was the great you know, what I'm saying panacea. That was supposed to solve all of overwatch is meadow problems, right? There did seem to be a lot of conversation. Like this. This was the answer in when you watched that tournament. Do you guys? Do you know what happened? Latta? Didn't seem to fix the problem. Because what people are saying is what people did is. They just pick the counters for goats in them. They were on a debate goats more effective. Well, and even if you did actually if they had picked someone to try to counteract goats, they just ended up going with a less optimal goats the thing that I think we as viewers don't realize is that if something's the most effective in the game you as a pro wanting to perform at your best are going to want to use the most effective thing there is in even when you didn't see those players picked for goats, you know, scuffed or scrubbed goes rub goat's. Where literally was just one hero missing. But you know, the vast majority of the mechanics are still the same. So you still saw today. Well, not so much when we also saw the pirate ship. A lot of old weird meta combat, which was cool. But then you realize that sucks when you don't have the counter for right? Sucks. Bad is not fun. So, and that's really the kind of the hard truth of it. Because when you take a game like legal legends like when something is popular in the meta. It's not what gets band out usually things that are broken get out. If a champion is literally like, I can't let the other team habit. They're going to get to pick first. And if they pick that champion were at a disadvantage, so that gets band out. So if this was supposed to be the thing that fixed the boring goats, meta and it didn't do that. Then what's the point? Is there an answer to be able to fix this problem or can the only answer come from blizzard in the form of of development and balance point? That's what it looks like it looks like you're going to be another here on that comes out to address this which would be a terrible idea because what they did with Brigita now. Yes, some heroes probably need to be looked at again, if they wanna shake dometic, the current had a nerve to armor, which is what the pros are going to be. Playing on. And we'll know for sure after the first few weeks once they really get their hands on it. If something changes, you're listening to checkpoint X, P, E sports and gaming radio. I want to thank everyone listening on ninety seven point five FM in twelve eighty AM the zone in Salt Lake City as well as ESPN keanae eleven forty in Alaska. We're currently talking about the tournament that went down this past weekend that was experimenting with picks in bands for OWI L. And there's another league that's looking to experiment with it as well. And this is egregious streetfighter a NOP it a new three zero three league that is going to be experimenting with bands. I listen in the moas seen. I totally understand pick some bands. Honestly, if I'm if I look at overwatch, I actually get it there too. I have no patience for that. Existing in fighting this just in the UFC is also going to start banning certain styles of fighting. The man because the more time my God. But the thing is is that this is the worst idea for the possible. What people don't understand the very nature of mobilizing games? Like overwatch, very thorough. Right. It's very fly by night, you work on certain champions. A new champion comes out or the meta changes. And you're working on another champion in fighting games. There are people who have been playing Cami or you or guile for years. You've put years developing your play one character. Don't get me wrong the mechanics change over the games. But that's your initial way in because you are always going to play like guile now. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. But haven't certain fighting games always had a uniform banned list yet. Right. Like there are certain characters that are like God tier character in super turbo. There is no tournament that will allow anyone. The small tournaments the mama tournaments. Yeah. You saw landed at where certain characters were bad, and that's not what we're talking about. Here. We're talking about a phase where two competitors are going up against one another and in the character selection phase, they get to either either pick a character that safe or ban the other other player from picking them. And I would I would think in this scenario as was the case in the oh, wwl tournament that if a player gets banned for one-sided ban for both sides, right? And I mean, this'll be a kindle I mean, knowing what to play nora's and be like, well, I'm banning Vega. Want him to have his best character? What was the reasoning behind this change? No one knows. That's the point. They heard overwatch committee. Blake picks and bands is more. Interesting. Part of the problem is that for as much as people think Capcom Cup is well run and people watching Capcom in street fighter. Five is not the hottest thing in the AFC anymore. Dragon ball, especially with mortal Kombat about the come out later this year. They're going to have more competition ends at are alive. Six. I guess shut up. Joe, you know, with those two games in particular looking to come on half a season, two, respectively, like street fighter. Five is going to have a real hard time saying we should have a top spot. Nivo? Listen, I I get why someone would look at pick some bands. When you see it in legal legends are really any mobile the pick and is a chess match that takes place before the game starts, and it's fascinating, not Jack. And he does play into the way that that match will play out, and it's it's really interesting to watch. And I understand why they're east sports would wanna try to copy that butter. It's just like what we saw with NBA k-league trying to do a draft. Just because it works in regular traditional sports. Doesn't mean it's necessarily going to translate into your eastward and the same thing has to be true. Among your friends. But isn't the also the the reverse true that experimenting with these things really doesn't hurt anything?.

"I misspoke. I said that Alinsky had been an alderman since one thousand nine hundred eighty of course, on the county board from nineteen eighty eight. I think in two thousand four he was first elected to the kamikazes a career public servant and. He is running for mayor in two thousand twenty and I'll tell you. I think we have a new spot for the mayoral mansion in Milwaukee. Hey, if the governor gets a mansion mayor of Milwaukee should get the futuristic space station. Dolinsky is building. In the Bayview state assemblyman. Jim odd has made it his mission over the past decade to criminalise first defense DUI OWI in Wisconsin, operating, while intoxicated, Wisconsin is the only state in the nation in which I defense drunk driving is not a crime. I genuinely tend to agree. With ought specific. I am all for criminalising what does amount to criminal reckless behavior. However, I am also sympathetic to the argument that here in Wisconsin. We do have a culture of drinking. We have a culture. Unlike a lot of other states in which every social activity seems to revolve around beer-drinking you go to a brewers game. What do you do tailgate brings some beer you go to someone's kids? Baptism you go. You drink some beer, you go to a fish, fry you go have a brandy old fashioned or two you go bowling have a couple of beers with your friends, I recognize that aspect of culture. But I also recognize that we do have a problem with not only drunk drivers. But also now distracted drivers texting or going on their phones while driving. And that car crashes are still a significant killer. They've been of course, passed by opioids, but we do have statistically a high level of automobile crashes for a state our size should first offense drunk driving be a misdemeanor. I'm genuinely cleary curious to hear what you think accurate mortgage talk and text line four one four seven nine nine eleven thirty. I'm not honestly sure where of more conservative leaning voter base is because on the one hand, you have the notion that we shouldn't be mollycoddling criminal behavior that we should always be looking to enforce our laws. We should always be looking to dissuade behavior. But on the other end of the spectrum. Is this notion that is it let's say the blood alcohol level point. Oh, eight someone gets a point. Oh, nine they're a little. Inebriated? But as you will be told buzz driving is drunk driving is that really worth ending someone's life, and Tom in sauk Ville, actually makes the most compelling argument here what we really should be targeting, Tom. How're you doing? Pretty good. Good morning to my point is that I watch the usual TV stations in the Milwaukee area. Here's something that. I think is also really important is that we acknowledged sort of what kind of steps could be made to make this better. I think when we see the franchise model in legal legends and over west by having a very specify off season. Right. Sure. That you know, you can make sort of big huge changes in their off season. And then maybe very small ones while the season is going on got a measured approach where you know. Maybe these are bugs or something is much. But how many of us complimented OWI wells moved to shift meta in between stages. Interesting to watch a single state was but at the same time again, I understand that argument of having such drastic changes in in between because as we saw it completely wiped certain teams out of contention a dead. And I think that while that's interesting from a viewer perspective from investor in a in a team management perspective. Or a player perspective perspective on furious. I don't want to lead to be ran that way. Well, yeah. Because that's how you're making your bread. But as of viewer and somebody who's interested in seeing the competition of it. I don't know. I actually like seeing the meta shifts happen because then okay? It gives a Dame. Stay your be right. You're really great at tracer. Right. "If you didn't go find the podcast and enjoy it. I've got a lot of Donald Trump to play for you. But I gotta tell you the very first thing of the new year. I want to tell you about his Harry Reid. I am. I'm sorry to report. The New York Times has a story this morning. Harry Reid has a few words for Washington. The former Senate majority leader on Trump Schumer, and why doesn't regret ending the filibuster by Mark Leibovich? And it's Harry Reid is dying. I did not know that Harry Reid has pancreatic cancer. He did not have long web. And so he sat down with microwave of issues really one of the more talented people out there. And eventually they got around to the fact that it was Harry Reid new has created. The biggest legacy for Donald Trump to supreme court justices. Thirty appeals court justices and two more years of a fifty three forty seven Senate that will roll through as many as they can. And in fact, this is my first one hundred times saying Senate majority leader McConnell in the Senate Republican caucus should go twenty four seven they should never recess. They should stay on the floor every day Saturdays and Sundays working on judicial nominations unless and until the Democrats changed the rules and stop being obstructionists or they must employ the Reid rule to change the rules unilaterally, which they can do. I don't mind if they work twenty four seven and keep the role in place. But they can't let they ended last year because of Jeff flake with nominees to the ninth circuit that never got through Jeff flake screwed his own state. He was so bitter about Donald Trump. He did not get a vote. He didn't get anything. All you get with pose. And and it was childish. I mean, really childish, and it hurt the people of Arizona Jeff wakes laugh actors the Senator was to hurt the people bears. So Lindsey Graham is the incoming chairman of judiciary. He's going to be terrific, chairman judiciary. He to set up immediately hearings for every circuit court nominee blow those through and then start the sixty hour clock. So that you understand the problem. Once you get through the hearing process, the committee process and some people don't right. They find stuff in their background. They they drop out whatever. But if you've got a vote from the committee to move to the floor a guaranteed nomination with fifty three senators you can lose one two three they're going to win. So someone might might have a a Jones for you. But it doesn't matter. You have to find two more people to agree not to vote with you. Four more people to stop takes four Republicans to stop a judge. That means these are lifetime appointments with the most important impact on on the Freedom Party. We are the Freedom Party. The Republican party is the Freedom Party. We have to do two things defend the constitution and defend the country. And defending the country means building the Pentagon backup to that level of strength that no one will think about it. I cannot tell you what I read over the weekend coming out of China. There war gaming how to take out four of our carriers at once. It's just a replay of the thirties with Japan with the co prosperity East, Asians fear, and I don't expect the Democrats to wake up to this Warren declared for president yesterday. But here's what Harry Reid said. This is from the league of HP's, the Trump era and retail businesses have occasion, inevitable reconsideration of Reed's legacy and all its contradictions Affordable Care Act, which read managed to navigate past the oppositional tactics of his persistent nemesis. The Republican Senate leader. And now majority leader Mitch McConnell has so far withstood macabre and Trump's efforts to dismantle legislation. Not quite right, Mark. The no one has to do it. The mandate is gone, and it's been overturned by a district court on its way to the fifth circuit. We'll see Ribas also prescient urging the Obama and congressional Republicans to go public about the investigation of Russian meddling in the two thousand sixteen election. The letter that Republican leaders agreed to co-sign weeks after they were briefed on the investigation did not identify by name. They did nothing or nothing that I'm aware of read said, and that Muller investigation has yet to reveal anything other than the fact that the Russians did in fact hack and smack in distort and confuse and they're not our friends their enemies, if found some collateral crimes they've got nothing to do with Trump Paul Manafort being up to his ears and corruption. And they caught general Flynn an ally. And you can't lie to the federal government. That's a crime. I mean, nothing big nothing related to Trump. Here's the key graph though. But McConnell's and Trump's own most substantial accomplishments today the appointment to the federal bench of an unprecedented number of conservative judges, including supreme court justices who might well. End up hearing a challenge the Affordable Care Act was made vastly easier by Reed's decision in two thousand thirteen to get rid of the filibuster for judicial appointments read remains unrepentant about this. They can say what they want. He told me we had over one hundred judges that we couldn't get approved. So I had no choice either. Obamacare's presidency would be either Obama's presidency would be a joke or Obama's presidency would be one of her wishing to think about that. Harry Reid is saying ObamaCare. Plus, I'm Jordan on the DC, circuit is all their wives to the Obama presidency. Is right. The Paris accord was a nightmare the JCP away with a nightmare the Libyan incursion with a nightmare destruction at the Pentagon with a nightmare. The Obama years were terrible years disaster. You're going to be ranked as the worst present. We get a fifty years or forty years away from this. They're all going to say that was the worst president ever. He was so OWI. Oh, h Obama. Was in over his head. Right. Is that how it went Obama is in over his at OWI OWH Obama is in over his head. That is the title of his years and the metric MSNBC Ben Rhodes, can try and divert attention from that. But it's a new year. Let's be honest and Trump for all of the Mitt Romney took out after Trump in the Washington Post yesterday, basically announcing I'm here, and I might be running in two thousand twenty I have not talked together around me in gosh a year. What he's doing? But that that op Ed tells me that he he might run in two thousand twenty. As a Republican. I didn't think John cage got prayer John's kind of lost his mind, and John Weaver is poisoned him. And anyone that's near Weaver. I've now confirmed to myself, I'm just not gonna have anything to do with Jeff flake couldn't out of shoes tied New Hampshire. He'd get blown out so fast that Romney Rondi would win New Hampshire. He's lived there. Every summer for the last fifty five years, and of course, Massachusetts would go and maybe try and put together a few ticket with Joe Biden or someone from the center laughed and run for a third party bring United States together party. I don't know. I do know that this Harry Reid. Mark Leibovich piece is really quite remarkable. Well, happy new year to all of you. It's so good to have you with us generalissimo, Adam. And Ben say Hello to you. They were out partying hard last night's. They're a little bit woozy. But. It's hard to try and get guys to come in on January. Second after tough, December thirty first Ohio State Buckeye dominated wash university of Washington last night. Now, I know we let the university of Washington huskies come back a little bit in the second half. But it was utter domination. And I think I want all my SEC francino in Georgia and in Alabama, and wherever the FCC is all the places, I think they've got power mostly. You know that Ohio State would have beaten Alabama in round one. And you know that Georgia would have beaten Clemson in round one. So the national championship should they should just go stage at somewhere else, Ohio State and Georgia. But boy, the White House can look he just looked terrific. You also know that this new year brings. An enormous sense of uncertainty about the market. I am not. I am really quite confident. I was looking over at the Wall Street Journal today, and they investors are are mixed over. What might be happening? You know, what's going to go up? You're going to go down that same question on that doesn't matter. What matters if the underlying growth, and the fed remains absolutely convinced as do I that we are going to have finally the benefits of the tax cut. We've had some but people like me. Who have been waiting all year long for their accountant sitcom, how much money they're gonna this year. We have no idea we're waiting for the tax cut because you pay quarterlies when you work for yourself. And so you make guesses in the best the Cam at the new rules have been slow in arriving. And then we're all going to find out what it's pretty good except the people in high tax states are going to be screwed. Really screwed. Now. I'm not in a high taxed anymore. It used to be when I lived in California. So I'm not going to be asked Rudas, California, New Yorkers. They might have little regional recessions, but Texas and Florida they are booming booming. And that is the that is the one lesson. I gotta tell you over and over again, if you wanna boom if you want your life to get better, you want your kids to get better. You gotta become a Republican. Because the Elizabeth Warren platform that she rolled out yesterday when she announced he was running for president that is a nightmare for all of you. You do not want Elizabeth Warren. And by the way, I've got an ears resolution to say something nice about everyone whenever I can't Elizabeth Warren with a great law school, professor at Harvard at the highest level with the best students, and she was thought that by Tom cotton, and by others who had her. She was a terrific law professor, which means you can communicate. And it means that she can listen and have a conversation and be pleasant and live up to the norms and just be smart. She really, really smart, but wow. Is she to laugh listen to now? Wow. Is she to the left, and she might be the nominee? Although I think Bernie Sanders nominee. We'll see don't go anywhere America. There's a lots hat on the first live broadcast and twenty nine.
