"Put that on the show page today right. It doesn't matter what kind of level of photography you are whether human pounds dollars zeros or not. let's be honest. Most of us have an unhealthy obsession with a camera bag. Done we camera bags So i thought we'd start this week with a poll that poll that opened up seems ages ago now actually in the facebook group. Have you joined the facebook group yet. Now i haven't neil will do so We opened up this poll about camera bag. Ownership seems as a lot of people struggling with their their Should we call it a camera bag habit. The poll i think certainly identifies it. Perhaps as a habit numbers may change. I'm going to read out some of the latest numbers that i read earlier on at the time of noting them down with the photo walk. A hundred sixty members said they owned three to five bags hundred and three lay claim to just one or a brace and forty four of you. Say that the that you have six or more bags honestly. What are you doing with them. Actually i think that's me i put myself down at. She is a three to five. But i found another couple only this morning. So i'm i i should probably re address it it into the six plus Group couple of the comments mall call it confesses up with his comment. Do you mean actually own all the ones. My wife knows about corey torgersen. If it's a bag it's a camera back. Yes that's true so in that case then. I'm going to have to put in ten plus the sports backs neil may not. Will you buy one and it works and then you see another one advertised and yet yes i know what you mean you have to get that one it never ends. He says liam murphy own well. Six plus us for all billingham's our camera bags of the unsung heroes of photography. Says leah see on iowa's think billingham like the the camera bag equivalent of The liker of the camera weld is the red dot of bags isn't it and I've only ever owned one. Had one it was a it was a present owned it. But actually of all the bags that i have in storage the billingham. He's not one of them. I sold it is. Anyone actually had any value us but berkner. I no longer have a billingham And i really didn't use it very much. I couldn't bear to make it dirty. And that's the whole point a lot but camera bag salute like they've traveled. But for some reason. I just couldn't do anything with a billingham like that Joy although i know. It's designed for that john. Roberts feel cooled out with this question. Neil but to be fair. "Way to do it is use the host the air. Can i use dream host to just go to dream house or google find it. Check it out and it's a great way to improve your low time today. We're gonna talk about what to do if your social media post get low engagement. We're going to give you a tactic or game. You one tactic in this will be a short episode because it's really simple and it works but ideally if you keep getting low social media engagement change up the type of content. You're creating tried something different. Maybe a different format whether it's video versus images can try quotes but just keep trying to experiment. That's the main thing that you need to do if you're in long gauge but if you want a quick hack ask of your friends with more followers the better and ask them to comment on your social posts and have them do that earlier on and the more controversial. You don't want to just start you know causing issues but the more controversial or the more open ended that creates other people to leave comments based on what they wrote the more viral that your post is gonna get literally for mostly social But we're seeing comments a fact vitality and engagement more than anything else in how much more d social networks are showing your content. Yup i mean when i think about my instagram. As an example. I've been testing reels. Have been testing all these different types of things. The real is actually they get the views but they don't necessarily get the likes right and they don't necessarily get a lot of comments. What i found that actually works for me on social. To neal's point is when. I started using my twitter posts as the quote posts. Does actually do pretty well. Sometimes you know for me. I'll probably get could be three four six seven times more engagement on it and the reach of going up a lot more and what we do at lincoln now is when we throw a post will post to our marketing team room and say hey guys. Can you guys engage on this right ended. A bunch of people jump in an engaged with so thorough. The like it. They'll comment you know when you respond back to the comments you'll get even more reached outweigh look at the end of the stuff works. I think you have to keep testing what i found. Is that if you keep doing the same thing over and over like we tried to same reels for like probably close to two months now and it just doesn't do as well as like again are quote posts or even when i post a picture of my team as an example right like the more personal stuff on inscribed that tends to do better right so you'll start to figure out what works for you but you know you just gotta keep testing and the track your tests. Neil may not always be what you want you know like i was talking to the wolf of wall street and he was telling me he's gotten more engagement him. Dealing with animals or raccoons getting in his trash can and posting that video clip on his instagram than when he post like anything financial related. Same with me. If i post something marking related. It doesn't do as well as if i post a picture of my wife and kid. How much better does that performance at two three four x better it ranges but usually when it comes to likes is to x on the low end three four on the high end while okay anyway if you want more stuff like this from amazing people beyond just kneel and myself marketing school that i owe slashed live. That's l a v that a virtual an alive peer group life. Your group. we're doing it. September nineteen th through the twenty second. And we'll catch you later. We appreciate you joining us for this session of marketing school. Be sure.

"But you know, that's that is gonna be Pat is gonna be so cool. Yeah, and you're gonna have so much fun, so, but it's gonna be work. It's a big adventure. Yeah, it's a big adventure. So New Year's was this Friday. Um, New Year's Eve was Thursday was there We were out of superstition. It was a great time out of superstition. We went out and explored. My hubby wanted to go to Glamis are mean superstition. I want to go to Glamis. That was like a big fight between us. Not not necessarily a fight. We don't really fight. Yeah, so we did rock paper scissors. And you know, we've been to Glamis the last five times that we went out to the desert. And he did not want to go to my missus. We ended up with superstition. He won the rock paper scissors Did you do with rock paper? Scissors? Would you lose? She's a paper paper to cover his rock is what I was thinking. And he did scissors because he knew I was going for him. Yeah, You're very first. Come on. It's not like you're not gonna remember that. No, he won. Yeah. And as like, as, like, two out of three's like, No, no, no, It's okay. A video. The video you showed doesn't didn't look like superstition. Was that bad? No, it really was not as busy as I expect. Everybody was socially distance. Yeah, we drove all the way over to the dip. We're we're supposed to have Ah, Representative come to our meeting. We're gonna be at the ranch house on much, right? 22 days Tuesday night. I talked to Neil and Neil may come, and there's a woman from the Navy from the Navy. That's supposed to be ending up. Their bosses will let them know we're not sure. Yes, we're having a peaceful protest meeting. So are peacefully protest ng half the ranch house. Um, 6 to 7 and you know, uh, in the meeting at seven. But yeah, we'll be there. We'll be talking all different sorts of things when I want, Um they're supposed to talk. Bombing range, new signs and fencing. And I'm still concerned over that. I don't know what they meant. I asked meal when I was on the phone with him. Well, what do you mean? And he couldn't give me any identification. That was like, Really? No, I thought so. What do you mean? What do you know? There is? Yeah, he doesn't know. What do you mean? What do you mean for the fencing? But let me explain what's going on. There's unauthorized vehicle open area. The superstition Positioning and the border to the North East is a bombing range that the military uses and there's a border in the signs along the border are not very good bent over and actually one of them got twisted backwards. Lost of them. I took video of quite a Penis week and there's trails that go right in and people drive in there, and they camp in there. And it's a problem like you're not supposed to. You know, it's supposed to be the and it's a problem for a variety of reasons. There's obvious the public safety aspect they bomb in that bombing range seven days a week. You never know when that's when they go under live ammo. Yeah, there is around. There could be stuff on ordinance on the grounds leftover ordinance and you know what concerns us is much is that is that if people going in there making a problem And the Navy needs to solve the problem. One solution is to keep everybody out of the area nearby, and that's not the solution you're looking for. We don't like that solution at all. So if we can work together with them to make a hard boundary and to keep our people on our side It's just better for us to keep our side open, right? Yes. So that's why we're interested in wearing water resolution and well and we have this problem in a number of places where the Latino are If there's a so if there's a problem with the offered area and somebody else The easiest solution is to close off roading. Yeah, yeah, We don't want it easy solution, but we don't like that. So we're working on a number of fronts to try to prevent that Bring out Bob Weir. We've been trying to tell you, it is very effective. We've been trying to get new signs because, you know, I know superstition. We've all over my hand paper new signs along there we paid. We offered to pay. We offered to work with them to get a grant. We've offered to know everything's being provided by the military, and that's what Neil wanna work with them and tell them Happy that oh, help any way we can, even if it's just getting the word out so that we can install the signs for them, Um, was one of things that we had discussed from you. Maybe we can help. Dollar figure out the insulation or what the sign would say and how it is made. They can make up to sign to say, Just give me a Give me a picture of what the science supposed to look like. We'll get a contractor to make up one. You look at it. Put your stamp of approval on it. How far apart do you want him and we'll make it happen. Exactly. What did you argue with that? Exactly? That's a real possibility. And I've learned that agencies. Have their rules on how a sign will be that Repeat what I'm saying. Tell me what you're signing look like ants. Abrego, the Cleveland National Forest. They all have to look alike. Forest had a lot of trouble with with that Crow Canyon has to be like our everything, even our highway cleanup. Area. That sign has to be they need to do it. They don't want us to have it. I've learned a long time ago. When you deal with inanity is largest government. You have to make it as simple as you possibly can for them. And when you say you'd just design it, send me a picture will do the rest. Yeah, There's really no argument. I mean, what are they going to say? Well, we want to dig the hole. No, you don't. You don't even have anybody trying to save them. You know, whatever Whatever costs, we can save them. So if it's the installation, labor, by all means, what can we do? We'll have volunteers out there. I know several people right now that will go out there for the next few weeks in a row and install signs like Yeah, yeah. No, I'm all for it. Early Thoughts Before Pre-Entries

"Gossip Good Morning Good Morning Steve. How're you doing good to be back home glad to whatever you want you know it's open open mic DOC whatever is ready and of course you follow gusts through everybody's followed gusts forever from day one on at the races and got a couple of plays maybe for the weekend gus but some some early thoughts before pre entries as we look Toward Cup it's always talked before pre entries but breath just looking at the races exciting exciting racist to get excited about it I think cameras just said I think the sprint and the dirt mile probably the two right now but I mean we have three solid juvenile's with noon Dennis moment eight rings and and Max Bill which I think three of those are very quality horses and just looking to see how these fields shape up but I mean I'll see you know some great opportunities in those fourteen racist for sure what we haven't obviously we haven't had a chance to talk anything on a consistent basis but what do you like to do when it comes to terms of a ticket structures and and focus in how many how many multi-race wagers which one's the utilize the most I'll tell you what you know you get these big fields I had the most success with exactly is in doubles to tell you the truth sometimes simple the up keep it simple and You get I mean you get a lot of value and those plays with the you know arch fields in and actually pick a couple of wide open races I usually focus on that I do tickets with the you know the picked force and I like to find at least one single maybe to deepen the other one and maybe spread that's what I kind of look forward definitely a single though in the pick four pick five I definitely need one host but I think even the pick threes you know the pick threes are they paid handsomely in the last few years as well but I think people you know who spoke with the exact in the doubles I mean you can get some real value if you if you got a good opinion onto racist back to back you can get paid well and we were in fact last week with Jeff Siegel this came up and when I was asking Jeff about his preparations and when it comes to the a ticket building and and we'll remind everybody that as much time as we spend handicapping the gotta spend a hundred percent the maybe not maybe not practical to spend as much time building the tickets but there's gotta come a point Wednesday Thursday where you you've got a pretty good idea of of the horses you're going to key around take a break from I'm from the handicapping and put pen to paper and write down the your perspective wagers and budgeted out and and you know take a look at the you know once we get the announcement I think it's on the twenty third by the way runs day the twenty third will be the race order official order announcement the Breeders Cup has a tendency to the tinker with it based on on the way the field size shape up you know look at that structure highlight the spots where you've got your strongest opinion and then back up on either side of those strong opinions if you're a mother erased player and you know we keep suggesting you know if you if you typically pick four player okay fine you're going to play your series of fake force but this is where you take a step back to and play more pick threes and the doubles and I I I think it's advice that I try to drive home every single u a year that you you don't WanNa have some of your best ideas the horses that end up winning that you had a good feel for an and then you didn't cash because there's some upset in the third or fourth leg of a pick four and you you didn't leverage your good idea as strongly as you might have oh I totally agree with that you know like you said once the the race orders come in just pick your spots we have your strongest opinions and then you go from there I mean that's I mean horse players nightmare there were your your ten to one shot twelve the one shot comes in and then you're single maybe a three to one shot you know doesn't come in the last leg and you didn't have anything on on on your your strongest opinion the price that's that's tough pill does Walla sometimes no doubt gusts will obviously you know get a chance to direct people toward you and and the analysis at at Brisbane that and Talk Again Cup Week maybe you know pick out a a a spot that you know the to discuss what what he did complain of of late how much keeneland action you taking it definitely on the weekends for sure and dabbling a little bit during the week I mean some great racing the weather's been fantastic and big fields they're coming to an end here this weekend but got a couple of plays today actually Keelan let me here let me let me see got hold on I got the where's where's my keeneland Friday Thursday AK with Saturday I keep the Friday about what's going on down believable there's so much there's so many things here did you play Gulfstream yesterday by the way did you play the pick five thing a little bit I did I did and got knocked out pretty early believe it or not you would not price horse which is Kinda it'll happen yeah oh yeah it was over quick so it's pretty full paid well for me though for the for the amount of low prices that were that were at three was a signal and the third leg so I know it's funny that that was the that was the horse that gave the opportunity to to to tip toe to turn it into a pick four but yet I do get the sense a lot of people got tripped up either on the in the first leg or the last leg where the two spots we're GONNA WE'RE GONNA get the one side of the other well let's talk about Qinglin go ahead what are you got today seven just my best friend today force MS coming out of the Woodbine Mile Bill Seventy eight to one mile with a chaining hill started the outside somehow he he maneuver beautifully coming into the turn but down the stretch is totally got shut off had nowhere to go I thought he had nice I made a move just didn't have enough to go this horse has been running good all year up at Woodbine five draws the five here which is which is ideal nine to two is very fair price is a loaded racist could be a stakes race disallowance this allowance race but I like plot I think he's going to get a good trip there's enough speed in front where he's going to be right in stock and right behind I mean he's faced some nice horses I think this is the time to to get in this at somewhere of now ninety two would it be beautiful if we can get that and I think we will because you know the outside you have a few horses that are going to take some money especially Colin Road for for Michael Maker Jose Ortiz that was gonNA take somebody coming out of ah graded great three but ms I think is the wholesome and a key on all over in in starting reporter and race seven and Connor Murphy for whatever reason Connor Murphy does not does not draw money and wins I mean he wins plenty does a good job interesting to see Mark Glatt come to keeneland souter shows up here yet pick source interesting ski Churchill last time kind of finished pretty decent but it's a nice horse was nice races earlier in the year so and you got Roselle Rosario on board into feature the feature very nice race today again the the greatest Devali view fulfilled I think by horses winter sunset four eight to one on the morning line think might get a couple of clicks down I mean she's versatile I don't know if she wants to go nine furlongs I think she kinda flattens out at nine furlongs the mile amount of sixteenth which is I think this is her her best distance coming off a win at Indiana ground at any grant she's got a nice post and she's just a nice trip there there's some speed lined up to the inside I think she can get I run and I mean the twelve is going to be flying late this lady the prince a lot for Baltistan she's eight to one I think she comes down from that I can see here making a big move middle of course coming down the lane but winterson that's it for me eight to one would be great I think she gets I run on on on the closers and should sit a nice trip there again for channing hill it's now and Bhartiya earlier to Mardi landed on winter sunset yeah I'm not sure what the price I think she might down from Chad you've got to chat horses that are Ya Chad takes money like you you saw yesterday focus group was was really over bet yeah I like him but it's too crazy I'll tell you what I have a bomb in the second race so a bomber I'm GonNa take just fly the one horse abstinent for Ian Wilkes make third start first time on on the turf going to turns Bravo Bravo couple of wins from six starts the meat this horse broke the last couple of times I starts his career broke out think the inside post and Bravo might be able to as well she's fifteen to one in the morning line you might get fifteen twenty to one hundred Meta take a flyer on her and also gotTa pick for tonight at down coming

Have you saved enough for retirement?

Have you saved enough for retirement?

"The universal question. The universal concerns were talking about today. Have I saved enough for retirement? And will I out live my savings Phyllis? These are questions just about everybody has going into retirement. The good news is there are some basic ingredients in the formula to help address these questions, and when we talk about those basic ingredients for your retirement plan. We're talking about things like income and growth, and protection and liquidity Phyllis. You mentioned protection we have to do more than just build up our savings and then start to take money out of it in retirement, we have to protect it as well. So what are some of those tools? We can use. Use to protect our savings. So protecting your savings one tool that that you can use today, and I don't like to necessarily get into tools, and and have people feel like I'm promoting it. But but it annuity can be a good tool for that. And there are several different types. The right annuity can be a tool because no matter what's going on in the market, you you're not going to lose your principle. It depends when you're going to need that money how liquid you need it. And if you need it for income, but that can be very good tool. If you just need income, another good tool believe it or not could be a strong dividend portfolio. Stock portfolio now understand that I said if you're going to need it for liquidity, I can't guess where the principal's going to be in a given day of the market. But, but if you've got a strong portfolio of good dividend paying stocks, we can expect that we're going to get those dividends. If you need it for income that could be a real good tool. If people are comfortable with rental income. Okay. They understand the real estate market. They they're not uncomfortable managing themselves are even hiring affirm that steady income if they know how to buy right can be another source of good ROI in good, stable income. Those are just a few of it used to be that you could build a really good bond ladder to me. Maybe you can do some short term bond plays. But I'm not a big proponent right now. With interest rates kind of undecided. Never say never. I might throw it in there. But because it can throw up some income. But but your principle can go down with that. We've got to be careful they're going to be liquid and fluid on that end. So so we're looking for some income and protection. What are we trying to protect if we're trying to protect income for life? There are some really good annuities out that that lasts until death. Do you part for both you and your spouse oftentimes can give you some healthcare benefits that could be something that we want to look at and none of these for all your money. No tool is the silver bullet for an income plan. Please. And the others dividend producing stocks. We're looking for if we're looking for income, maybe bones. Maybe some real estate thrown in the different tools. How do we decide we figure out how much we need when we need it? And we explained the pros and cons and strings attached of each of those investments, those tools, and we help you to figure out where you most comfortable, we build a plan accordingly Phyllis. Let's talk about another one of these basics in our retirement plan, one of the basic goals NATs liquidity. Now that seems to me very different from the tools that we're going to want to use to protect our income and to protect our savings. What are some of the tools if we need an element of liquidity in our plan? So that that's a real. I'm really conservative here. I believe everybody needs an absolute takeout. And I. Interest rates are very low. But I think everybody needs some money in some type of money market or a line of equity on their home. If it's paid up with not paying anything for that. But they can write that off and have easy access money. I'm not a big believer. If it's for the quitting that you're going to put that money in stocks or even a bond because those principles can go down. Sometimes you can do a shorter term new itty or you can have enough money in in the annuity that the free withdrawals that they offer. We know it can't go down to the market will provide us enough.
