"It's an excellent question. By the way, when you started asking about training, I thought you were asking about you're going to ask about sales training, which it's an interesting topic, but if you want, I'll give you an answer about that later. So at the moment, we are doing everything on AWS. So we're running many AWS with some presence on GCS. Now, the reason is that it is expensive. But at the end of the day, the hidden cost of maintaining servers. And maintaining also aspects of security privacy, if you're running it locally or in a data center. And also handling failure issues with your machines. And so on and so forth, put us in a position where we'd rather, in a sense, pay a bit more, but have the knowledge that we have someone to back us up. When issues arise and if we need more assistance. So we have contemplated actually over the last year, you know, whether we need to buy a local immune system GPU machines and we have some conversations within Nvidia. But at the end of the day, we decided that when we'd like to invest our efforts and our attention on building new stuff, then maintaining hardware and saving might be thousands of dollars, but this time it's time well spent when would actually doing focusing on training and letting AWS deal with the hardware and all of that setup. Sometimes it is expensive. Your.

"Bought the body movements when you're on camera tough right so maybe maybe try to like blow up the video in focusing a little bit more on his on his specifically okay. But i'm at a different time stamp now earlier. So okay hold on a second. I'm i'm i'm blowing it up and blown up looking at stuff here. I i gotta confess. It's very challenging. Apparently part of the process. I do know this already. Apparently part of the process was they actually recorded his mannerisms as well so like if he has a particular way of fidgeting it's supposed to fidget in the same way he does audio. It's really cool. Okay so do i. I have to pick one and this is not one of those misleading challenges. Where i by picking one. I screw myself over like it's one one of these is both. We'll talk about that. But one of these is definitely okay okay. Can i have the time stamps one more time. I'm sorry you guys can play along. You guys can play along here. I'll i'll linked to video All right here we go. I'm gonna link the video in the chat without reading the chat. I'm d- focusing my eyes. That i will not read the chat. It is now linked row. Fortunately youtube is moving so fast. I don't even have to worry about it. Join me just chocolate. I yeah sure sure. Hit it with the straw poll. We'll see if you guys get it right but him you those timestamps one more time. Thirty seven twenty to thirty seven. Twenty two all right. I know what i'm gonna look for this time. I'm going for it. I'm going for gold. Okay thirty seven twenty two. That's kind of cheating because he doesn't say anything. Oh i wonder if that's my hint. Maybe that's my hint. It's planned firing it to you. Guys eighty seven twenty two right. That would certainly be the easiest one to do it with okay. What's the next one again. Fifty four fifteen fifty four switch. I'm going to be dropping in. Chat momentarily goes okay. I'm looking at fifty four fifteen now on youtube now. Okay okay. i'm ready for the next one. One zero two forty one to forty one and this is the one. That's kind of trippy. Because he liked disappears in the middle of it but that could just be a visual effect. Doing some interesting visual effects here. Yeah okay. I'm gonna say that because that last one looked so much like a green screen. I'm calling i one. I think it's the first one where he's in the corner and doesn't say anything because i'm pretty sure. I saw him reading the prompter in the second one. So i know i know. It's not that one. And then the third one. I feel like you put in. Just throw me for a loop side. I'm not doing it. i'm taking the first one. Okay okay are we gonna show the straw poll results. I let them vote. we can. Yeah all right. let's do it. I fired the straw-poll over to you. Okay it's really even really okay. Let's show these results ladies and gentlemen. Let's see what you guys thought. Oh wow i'm actually stunned. I mean this gives us some idea if the goal for in video was to be validated. That it's very hard to tell the difference. I mean i think that pretty much says it. All and i mean i'm looking for things that i wouldn't expect an average person to look for like the fact that i'm watching for if the host is reading a teleprompter because that's something that i would recognize very easily. Not everyone would think about that unless they i mean the machine learning would would go off of mannerisms right so if practiced prompt her. They i i guess that's true but i doubt they would be able to get that exactly right unless they basically recorded his rehearsal and played it back which is kind of. That's kind of a hack. I consider that kind of a cheap. That's not a simulated person. That's a recording of a person. That's mo cap. That's we have that already. That's not new. So that's that's my. That's my defense of of that. If they did that. I think which Which which one did you. I said the first one was fake. The first one is that i was thirty. Seven twenty two. What i'll tell you is the one that won the pole. So the most votes came in four fifty four fifteen. Yup that one is not at that one is not so it was the last one then. I will also say that the one that you chose not it really so was the last one. It was the last one. Oh interesting. I mean i did say the first time around jumped out and i was like that looks really unnatural but i it's mostly i will give them this. It's mostly the body movement. That looks natural. I think i think they they. I don't know if i want to cheat. But i think they give themselves. They put themselves in a beneficial position. I'll say that much by having another way out. Yeah so his face is not as easy to see Now again they they only say speak and if you go to me one second to do okay go to one to twenty eight sir. Yep down here you can be in a teleprompter and play from there. Yeah yeah okay. So you see how it like grabs him looks like he's changed and slightly displaced in the kitchen as a big difference as well like look at the side of the free replay that shift and like pay attention to the edge. Oh yeah yeah yeah you can see it so everything right. Yeah so. I had to. I had time happen. I think they did this properly. Actually but i made sure that the time stamp right dare showed that change. So you're seeing a noticeable change which makes me think that the rest of the presentation is not simulated and the fact that this can is confusing at all is a huge credit to the people that worked on this to be real watching. the kitchen. deconstruction is really cool. They pointed out that the bunch of things in the kitchen yup are. There's a can of cooking oil or something. I don't know exactly what it was that it was rebranded to like an nvidia products. And like there's a. There's a little lego figure of jensen and there's like a few other things there that are kind of cool. But yeah once you see that. Part of the transition where noticeably ships. Yeah it makes it so that this next part being The fake part is a little bit more obvious that makes sense. It stood up to me mostly because of the body movement but there is some confusing parts so be continued timestamps that i have further on in the dock all interesting. Yeah so this is where it's like. Kay they said it was just fourteen seconds and maybe it was if you read if you look at this first one If you watch it till twenty seven zero eight which is a little bit of time. They show like okay. This is the first version of the face that we got. They have the three d. model obviously rendered and sitting there and rotating trying to talk. And it's like yeah that's obviously fake but the guy in the video is saying. Yeah it's pretty good but it's not photo realistic. And then they go forward. Sorry which one of my at your first one you gotta just tell me the time. I'm just clicking on it. give me one sekai. We'll get albino. Live show six thirty twenty six thirty thirty.

Cryptocurrency Miners Snap up Computer Chips

"On the show. We talked about crypto currencies impact on the environment. Today let's talk about its impact on the semiconductor shortage miners and gamers are competing for high powered graphics. Chips aka gpa use. These are incredibly hard to find right now. Because of increased pandemic demand most are made at the same foundry in taiwan that struggling to produce enough chips for every industry and yes crypto. Minors are snapping them up to so to protect their gpu supply. Companies like nvidia are now producing mining. Specific chips oncho. Sag is a semiconductor analyst. At the tech advisory firm. More insights and strategy crypto. Definitely take away to a certain degree from everything else. Because it makes certain companies that produce the hardware crypto to prioritize more of their wafers a certain type of product and what ends up happening is it does put a little bit of a strain on the entire ecosystem but it's mostly contained within the gaming market like it had in the past but with a global shortage winds up happening is it starts to take away from other places that are needing it and as a result neither are really getting enough supply. Because there's only so much wafer capacity in the world so we're seeing that companies are pivoting to specifically making hardware form mining. Is that just a smart business decision or are they trying to protect kind of the other parts of their business to. Yeah so i think if you look at like the videos of the world. They are absolutely creating crypto specific hardware because their core business which is gaming is not actually getting enough of supply of gps for gaming because people are snapping up. You know thousands of these for mining. So they went out and created a custom. Mining chip that miners would buy that. And also whenever the mining boom peeters off it has in the past they will no longer be dumping the heavily used cards back into the market and causing issues with failures. And things like

That's only doubling from the two-billion-dollar level here to four four to eight. I definitely don't expect that to say tusla for years. Once forty six eighty battery supply comes online. "For we start off tonight with a semi smackdown the gloves coming off in the battle of the giants. Invidia fires of direct shot at intel. Let's get straight to. Josh lipton with all the details josh so melissa ceo jensen wong is transformed into a true powerhouse. With that companies graphics chips these are processors that generate images and accelerate. Revenue is tracking above its previous outlook of five point. three billion. And that's doc posted. Its best day here over a month. Some investors clearly saw in announcement as a direct shot at intel with reported twenty six billion in revenue permits data center group in two thousand and twenty. That was a jump eleven percent. that's doctors had. Its worst day since late february. So how bad is this news. Though for pat gelsinger techy. Patrick moore had capturing that his copy still does both certain advantages invidia with his new service is targeting more of a niche market. Patrick says and intel's still the giants dominates about ninety percent of this market. No response from intel on that invidia news. There was also that big one chip summit today remember. President binds infrastructure plan does include fifty billion dollars to the american chip industry. Melissa back to you josh. Quick question on the niche market point. How big is this market. Or how profitable is this to make the such a big deal that they're going after specifically this narrow part of the market. You're going after what it's called the hp hp mortgage so that is a market that would include things like national lab laboratories like los alamos. That's why patrick moorhead. In his point was saying one. These are different. Intel as dominating about ninety percent of that service you market and patrick's point is that intel's focus is different. It's really targeting. More general business uses and cloud providers. But we'll see how it plays out and listen

The possible reason behind the naming of Xbox network

"The new naming of xbox and brian wrote in and said they. It's important to note that the network in xbox network is not capitalized not capitalize that ends specifically this is presumably because xbox network is just infrastructure a product or a service being marketed to end users considering the increasing number of activities that no longer require. Xbox live such as streaming services like netflix gene. Soon chad plane free to play games online. It makes sense to differentiate the xbox live service from the network that it runs on. He's not wrong. he's parsing ended a little close. It's a little bit of kremlinology like and the reason it's a lower case in but also i could totally see a group of marketing people brainstorming the name and say let's make the end lower case to sort of indicate that this is really that it's just network no totally totally see that

Arm's new chip architecture boosts security, speed for billions of processors

"Arm announced its first major. New chip architecture in ten years called v nine and it is backwards compatible with good old fashioned arm v eight that we've had since two thousand eleven but it adds some new security a signal processing and performance features arm v nine introduces confidential compute architecture which allows the concept of realms realms will let a developer right application where the data can be kept from the rest of the system from the operating system from other apps that way only the realm manager software can see the data and if another part of the device were somehow breached. It wouldn't immediately be able to get at that. Data this is particularly important for companies who use cloud services specially like health or finance a helps prevent an intruder or even an employee breaking into an amazon. Google microsoft hyper visor and peaking at customer data scalable vector extension to or. Smart home stuff arm thinks this will improve performance even when it is done outside the cpu in like a gpu or neuro processing unit or something like that but the bottom line for many of you will be the promised fifteen percent gaining computer power this year and an additional fifteen percent the year after for mobile and infrastructure cpu's

What's Going On With Graphics Card Prices?

"Graphics card prices have gone up. We're not just talking new graphics card. Prices were talking used graphics cards as well and that pretty rough here so Both companies have had problems. First of all with scalpers of course Consoles also have had scalpers and quite frankly there has been a huge supply of consoles at the retail stores. I know working at a retail store. We've not had that many playstation five or What's the latest version of the xbox. I can't remember off the top my head. i'm sorry has slipped my mind. But i think you know what i'm talking about the xbox series x. That's what it is that came to mind. Finally but yeah. We haven't had very many of those scalpers have to buy up a lot of the supply of the graphics cards same with consoles and flipping them on ebay to make like probably about twice as much or even more quite frankly because people are just willing to pay those prices But graphics cards especially they've had problems with scalpers and there have been bought created to check windows graphics. Cards come in stock for the scalpers to go automatically by those graphics cards so you the consumer can't get the graphics card so easily and neva invidia or amd rarely like thus. They've both been trying to do things to keep that from happening. Because they know that they're mainly seen as a gaming type of company are both. Amd nvidia now. of course. they're real bread. Butter right now is in like machine. Learning and i quite frankly. That's where the real money is for them but they have graphics cards to at the majority of consumers are wanting gaming graphics cards When it comes to amd and video and if the gamers can't get those graphics cards while that puts both amd an nvidia in a bad lights quite frankly even if they are making a ton of money off of the cards at still does it. look good for either

Intel buys time with 'retrofit' Rocket Lake desktop PC chips

"Intel fully unveiled at seven th gen core desktop chips also known as rocket lake s these the cypress cove architecture which is at fourteen nanometer implementation of the willow cove architecture also used in ten nanometer tiger. Lick chips for laptops. That's important to note because the top of the line said in the gen desktop chip the core. I nine eleven nine hundred k. Has eight cores and sixteen threads which is to fewer occurs and four or fewer threads than the previous ten th gen flagship. The idea is that the more efficient architecture makes for up for the drop in cores in threads but until would like you to ignore all of that and pay more attention to instructions per cycle because those are nineteen percent better now and that's fair that's fair since most games don't use multiple cores anyway and the new top chip reaches up to five point three gigahertz on a single core until touted a fourteen percent improvement on flight simulator at ten eighty p even on multi core functions to- claims it's eighty eight percent faster than its last gen ed video editing and thirty five percent faster than is rising nine thousand nine hundred x so the independent benchmarks will be important. There are other advantages though. Potentially the eleven gen chips also address sizable bar which is a frame rate boost to compatible graphics chips from nvidia an md. You also get support for usb three point two john to by two thunderbolt four. Ddr four thirty two hundred ram and twenty gen four pci lanes new five hundred series. Motherboards are coming but rocket lake s will also work with existing four hundred series boards over clockers. we'll get a new and updated features in until extreme tuning utility if you're wondering about price until eleven gen. Prices for Nvidia RTX 3000 Graphics Cards Are Getting Insane on eBay

"Prices for the invidia. Rtx three thousand graphics cards are getting insane on ebay bc. Meg is covering this article. If you're wondering what's going on with prices on even prices are getting kinda crazy Scalpers our in house charging people two thousand dollars to own in videos. Rtx thirty eighty. Unfortunately the ongoing shortage for the latest pc graphics card is causing the prices for the usa. Too disturbing new heights on ebay. Since mid-september scalpers have been reselling the rtx thirty on ebay for around thirteen hundred to fifteen hundred dollars which is almost double. The original seven hundred to eight hundred seventy dollar cost depending on model but in recent weeks the pricing for the in demand graphics card is only got more insane and actually have a graphic kind of showing the graph prices are all over the place but seems to be general medium to understand the full scope of escaping chicago based data engineer named michael driscoll has been tracking a gpo sales on ebay using a computer script on tuesday. He told us the medium price for the rtx. Thirty eighty has now reached two thousand and seventy dollars the median prices for ebay for all the rtx. Three thousand cards began to balloon in february in the case of the thirty eighty costs. Shot up to around twenty four hundred. The rtx thirty seventy any other hand in a high of over twelve hundred dollars. Us and it's like no world is going on. Numbers only began to drop last week. During the same time invidia lodged most affordable entry in the rtx three thousand series thirty sixty which starts at three hundred and thirty dollars. Prices stopped going up exactly when it launched. The i can't be coincidence. Driscoll told us not a huge drought significant by us meaning. Pc not meet for the increases. I have no way of confirming. But i know many employers give out bonuses in february and people are starting to file and receive tax returns which could be driving some of the price increase. The insanity has also carried over to the amd's latest rate on graphics. Cards scalpers on ebay are now hockey enough for about double the normal cost. It's like a grant allowed guys One factor they do mention is the surge in crypto currency mining which might be creating more customers scars on ebay. Still imagining someone to pay two thousand dollars for a single. Pc graphics card is mind boggling ultimately as a dark time to be a pc builder but you can find ways around. You don't have to get the latest and greatest graphics card can still work with what you have or you can forget buying a pc and building it from scratch and just get one prebuilt to some extent. Probably help you out

Microsoft may make its xCloud service available on a browser

"Do you play xbox games on your web browser microsoft maybe working on making its ex cloud game streaming service even more accessible writer chang. This is your daily charge here. Talk with us about x. Cloud gaming expert offering zola's so what is the latest with ex cloud. So right now myself is testing the streaming platform on web browsers report game outset company. Employees are currently testing it. And this comes before the big public preview the expectation for that is sometime in the spring where everybody else is going to be able to play the browser and for our listeners. Who aren't hardcore gamers. What exactly is cloud. Ex code is microsoft's streaming service. It's it's like the netflix video games. You pay a monthly subscription and games are available of via the xbox game pass and that could be streamed to your android device. It's a ciccio like having an xbox in the cloud ryan what games are we talking about these sort of current titles as it sort of back catalogue of older titles is anything is basically a free for all. It's a very wide range. Aid comes so you have. All the microsoft owned properties which includes of course like halo Bethesda games like fallout. So you have those games And also a lot of the newer games What the brand new ones and medium that's available and that's an xbox series access. Gabe came out. And you can play it on there. So you have those you have the bigger titles those you have any titles. You have odor games so we too wide range of what's available on the xbox xbox game pass got end in terms of the devices you know. There's the browser that we're talking about today you mentioned android. What about iphones ipads will. This is where the news of the web browser is the big news. This will allow ex class. Actually play on ipads and iphones will. What happened was win. Marks off tried to get x. Cloud approved by apple For the app store Apple said well since this includes two hundred games. Do you need to submit every game to be reviewed and of course that's a that's a paid especially since they switch out games every every mother's new games that come in and new games at go out so instead a string of Indicates amazon. Luna which will talk about embiid They're doing their service via web browser. And that sort of sparked. The idea of marks off of mike up began working on that. So yes this will allow people with iphones and ipads to play to stream games of the x. Cloud and of course people general that have a laptop heavy Chromebook have a would have any sort of windows. Device will be able to stream xbox games to it as long as they have a subscription got in so give me a brief state of the game streaming world. You mentioned amazon. Luna is obviously google stadia. What's what's been going on with the various cloud gaming services out there so let's with the big ones stadia stadium is going through a bit of a bit of a tough time. At the beginning of the month dugal said that they are shutting down their in house developers. So right now. Google is not making any games for stadia. They did say though last week that they are going to have a hundred four games. Come out for stadia. Twenty twenty one in general though it still hasn't caught on So there's not a lot of excitement for it as much as it was with. Google first announced it that people have tried and it's just not capturing every everyone then like i mentioned amazon luna. That's right now. And the early access phase people could sign up board. And they maybe picked to try it out if echoed x. Claude is the net flicks for video games. Amazon is appropriately. The amazon prime video of video games in that. There is the for the monthly subscription. Seven dollars you will get access to a certain number of games. Then if you want you can pay a couple bucks more and you'll get another you'll get you'll get access to another catalog like. Ub sauce games. So that's how they're gonna do it to where everybody's going to be able to sort of pick choose what they want. But they're sort of base line of games that are going to be available for the monthly fee de force that is for. Pc gamers wanna take their pc games and play it on a their their phone tablets or black or laptop if they don't have a gaming laptop that had a stumble row stumble last year when it launch because they invidia put out all these games available for streaming. But they didn't tell the publishers so the allergies publishers kept just pull their games from the g force now So it took a while for them to serve sort everything out now the services going smoothly It's actually free but you only get to play an hour for free but If you pay if you pay or you'll get a better access better better fidelity as well as well unlimited time. So that's also available of o'clock eighty. What about sony nintendo some of the other big players in the gaming world. Well sony was the first one to do cloud gaming. What their playstation now That launch back with the playstation four and not early on in the playstation. Four lifetime and sony just has not put any effort into it They release a few games for for its They'll they keep it. Keep it moving. But there's maybe a million or two subscribers which is hardly anything in comparison acts cloud It's just not not their priority at all I don't know if it will be. They'll if sony will change your mind in the future but as of right apple station is just stare sermon. Afterthought as for nintendo. They don't have a netflix type. Service yet The maybe that's the planning they do have a cloud streaming though For hey different reasons. So games like control. That is a very intense graphic game. It is just very beautiful looking and wouldn't it wouldn't attend all has done is dave. Dave reached out to a they partner up with a few publishers and developers and they are allowing these games to stream to the switch. So you still get all the scrape the -delity like you would on an xbox or playstation But you have it on your switch and that prevents the developers from having to create a very a very cut down low graphics low fidelity version of the game that we've seen with some other titles duke maternal win borderlands where they just have to cut out so much where it's doesn't look as great in it's on his memorable so that available but again that is for very different reason than say x. Cloud stadium got and we just went through or still going through the launch of new hardware right with the xbox series acts the ps five taco middleware streaming fits into the future of gaming well in the case of marcus off especially they want you to be connected all the time they want you to when you're at home they want you on your xbox. They wanted they play games. But they want you to look in netflix. Or whatever when you're on the goal they want you to be on the app so you could play games while your way And you're you know if you're at work the what you pull up your browser sake play while you're not working but So that's who marks off once they want you connected all the time and they have like they have the best option for that It gives everybody else. They're trying to find they're trying to get a piece of this because they know that there's a lot of people that wanna play games that maybe do not wanna spend for five hundred dollars on the latest new york so they're trying to find a way to get in there And it's they're. They're all taking their stamps at offering their takes on what the cloud services going to be. So are we ever going to get to a point where we can drop the hardware and the console entirely like you said there are folks out there who may not wanna drop five hundred dollars on a new system bogut appoint were that just completely. Needless completely out of the equation. Everybody's expecting this generation to kind of be the The real he wanted to determine whether we go with or without consoles. It's i still think we're going to need hardware. Future especially the way hardware is being developed with nvidia An md they're still producing this great hardware that that is really going to produce these even more beautiful games a blitz. It option is likely gonna be there in the It comes down to. Who's going to have the easiest access to stream to your tv. I mean the. Tv's are getting having more hardware than getting smarter but the only way to play on your tv right now without a console is like chromecast but if the if roku amazon smart tv's if those devices integrate completely with ex cloud and luna and stadia Well i mean crook assery works stadium but if all these other smart tv devices if they all start working together with these cloud streaming platforms where it seamless where you turn on your tv and you just switched to the the x cloud channel app and it starts going with all your without the xbox games that hey that may be it But we'll we'll have to see in the coming years how this generation pans out and we'll see what the other companies do

"Intel also announced stuff that was the day before they announced eleventh gen stuff so on desktop it's rocket lake s which let's just get this out of the way. This is basically a previous laptop architecture ported over to desktop so along with that comes they're better. Ipc has up to nineteen percent higher than ten th gen desktop but also the Laptop limitation of only eight cores and threads backs so the new eleven. Nine hundred k. Is not a ten core part. It's not twelve. corpora park. An eight core part. Now you're getting higher single threaded performance but you are losing two cores. Jim sure is. And Nassau's curiosity rover is making its way across Mars, so sit back. Relax because it's time for the news. Own, Joey's totally tat. Hi everyone that's Monday July twenty. Twenty though not twentieth or not Our Future July Thirteenth Twenty Tony and here's the past week's tech. News Samsung Galaxy Watch three software. Details have leaked the Samsung. Galaxy watched. Three will likely have customizable watch faces as well as updates to the music email and calendar APPs. Some of the faces will use informative digital edge, a feature which displays customer details like heart, rate, or the number of steps taken the leaked images show a date of July twenty second on the watch faces suggested that this may be revealed date. The company is expected to at least two size variants as well as lt n, Wi fi only. What you think. Are they copying apple here? The watch faces because. At. The worldwide developers conference apple announced customizable watch faces as well. Yeah I definitely think they're copying apple well. We know that apple is a trendsetter and. There's a history. Apple sets a trend. All the other companies follow I mean. I had an HP computer in my early twenties. Actually as my parents, not mine. At looked a lot like the Max that were coming out at the time. At least the Monitor did so yeah. They? You know I definitely think that they are following suit with apple, because apple is the trend setter and you know Samsung is competing with apple essentially, so they need to keep up with the Joneses so to speak. About? A lot of people claim apples no longer really Turk a style company. Yeah I can kind of second that that sounds about right because it's. It's seeming that way for her. Because android seems to be the first with certain features most of the time I. I don't know about the ANDROID. Smart watches, are they do they have customizable faces because i? Don't have a smart. Watch me neither. Yeah. We don't know about that. I'm tax. I'm attack expert. I don't use the smartwatch though. A retro type. Person Well. Let me tech, but you like. Why same skis me Samsung's GonNa be android though. I mean. I guess that might be something. That apple is actually doing as far as tech goes. It doesn't seem to be anything that would be that complicated. But Apple does have a tendency to wait for the others to do it first, and then they work on perfecting it, and they make it stylish to yeah all right, so at least so you're up next. All right so crumbs updates to excuse me. Crumbs update to improve your laptops battery life. If you're a google chrome user user, you may know, it has a reputation of being a battery Hog. however Google appears to be fixing this. An experimental feature in Croom, eighty eighty six will reduce energy usage by shutting down unnecessary Java scrip- timers and trackers when a tab is in the background such as ones that might check your scrolling position. Reportedly Google was saved two hours battery life in a test with thirty six background tabs and one blank. Co Foreground Tab. Of course these are extreme conditions, unless you're like Joey and working on website development, we're doing research for other projects of his. I've noticed on windows eight and windows ten when used a laptop. the laptop or not the laptop itself, but windows ten will try to get you switch over to edge, because apparently edge uses less battery life and it claims. Your browser baby, using more battery that what? Does. You know I can't remember the exact buses down. I'm on. Lenox. Thousand Lennox doesn't do that, but when does does to to do that quite a bit when I'm using chrome on a laptop as kind of annoying, but I'm glad, see chrome admitting it's a battery, hog or Google. They're admitting that. And there are fixing the problem. That's good. Yes, exactly and this has been a big story this week. A tech CEO has stepped down. After actually was the video that was a big story, but after a racist rant at a restaurant. and. It was called on video and it went viral. Lofthouse, who is the CEO of solid state, has resigned after a video of him. Giving a racist rant directed towards an Asian family. This happened at the Bernardus Lodge Hotel and Carmel Valley California. The OMAROSA family was at the restaurant celebrating Marie arrose birthday! Alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident. Lofthouse was also involved in a racially motivated altercation on social media later on. He has since apologized for the rant. Stating that was appalling behavior and has now resigned. Raymond Rosa who's Murray's husband rejected the apology during an interview with ABC San Francisco saying quote, he's just save face I think he really meant what he said and what he did I don't believe his words because his actions speak louder than words, or then the words, he sane end quote. But he also stated that he forgave law lofthouse. "We know that the architecture for the new generation of graphics cards from nvidia. Did find an early rumor for me that? That, said the RT study Sixty Cud beat the architects twenty eight. "To predict the rise of nvidia text to act as seven six two eight zero to see the near future report text the word tack to seven six two eight zero finally coming in the great American big things are happening around the tri state the nation in the world Reds baseball is almost here the team is reporting there is only pick up the pieces of Reds baseball twenty twenty is the honorable Jeff Brantley Jeff Brantley welcome again of the bill Cunningham show Jeff how are you I'm doing good what are you out I'm doing great what is the cow boy do in the off season to get ready I've seen some Reds working out and around town lifting weights I see a little bit running being done what is the cowboy do in Mississippi to get ready for Reds baseball carpal take the kids to school got it that way I didn't work on my voice talking and was able to go to school we jump back your teenagers that is that do they pay attention to you at all boy you the cowboy all right now let's talk about is this the most exciting you've been since at least twenty thirteen I think in twenty thirteen coming off twenty ten twenty twelve we've got thirty seven or eight years in the wilderness now most of the experts are picking the Reds to win the central division is that realistic I'm a good it is work but I think a lot of things have to happen in the in the right direction I think you've got to stay healthy number one I think you're going to need both sends out lands far as healthy for the duration of the season there's a there's a lot of talk about this five man rotation but as we have seen and and many clubs very rarely do five guys make every start throughout the season I mean there are some injuries or some doesn't miss starts and you got a hope those does stay healthy and I think I think one thing that the people just don't quite get the grass while being on the outside looking in is that you're you're putting all these guys in the same locker room with a lot of my cheese ball a lot of egos and everybody's data cattle work together towards that one goal not getting to the post season at this point I ask the sec man yesterday cowboy who's in laughed who's in center who's in right who's a third whose it second if tomorrow the Reds replying who's the cowboys say will show Gunby in laughter show time who's going to be left well what I would bring at this point you you have to look at the help of of Nixon's Alex he can throw the baseball you also have to look at tomorrow but I I think that if if everybody's healthy then you put swaras at third base you put in the Allen center fielder and ever has the best spring weather it's **** Shogo Akiyama that these plan let Phil discuss the Alesis don't apply right no question in your mind no question I just think that's the way you go but I think the health issue is probably more of a concern good David right now than anything else because you don't really know what you're gonna get the first couple of weeks of spring training now as we get towards the last ten days I think that picture becomes clear now you've been in good locker rooms and bad locker rooms what is Mike Moustakas what what is the movies add to a locker room that maybe the Reds might have been lacking I just think that the more veterans better accomplish that have that have one about you know how to wear and I think the more guys that you can put in a locker room like that your your current players feed off of that the only guidance in this locker room that's really the end of the post season for the Reds has been Joey bada and there are other guys like Wade Molly Sonny gray Trevor Bauer I mean there there are other guys in there that has have played in the postseason besides Moustakas and I think he only adds to to raise that heightened awareness that you have to have every single day when you're playing baseball it is a major major crime all of this includes the album is gonna whine a little bit once we get into the back and especially when we get into June and that's when you really bring out the the inner parts of the guys that make up that locker I got a fight for this I can be that easy so does it your old employer yes PM that says the Reds are the favorite to win they have the red joining eighty seven games they they have the cardinals B. and second I get the cubs third Milwaukee's fourth course Pittsburgh at the bottom you would send a hold up on that car because we have a team except for Joey Votto never been part of a winning operation before Mike Moustakas of course has been as Reds baseball this is a brand new group we have so many new players I think the ownership of the Reds and Dick Williams I've done a fabulous job putting this together but you got to do it on the grass and on the turf you can't do it on print well I will I will agree with you on that issue well I I think that as far as putting this club together I Big Bird the front office he's done everything back in there I don't know that you could do a whole lot more elements let's be honest the the expectation is that this global well winning is not easy in the big lake said you just don't know what tomorrow is going to bring from a health standpoint but as far as putting it together I I don't know that you could do a better job and I I fully expect that these guys as they begin to start you've already seen the comment from you guys are there early acting to win and I and I think that's part of the battle I I think you have to expect success to achieve success I think these guys are ready to do it now they have to do now there's always controversy in baseball yesterday the Astros owner Jim crane made a public non apology I thought you know PR wise what you do is cut it off and did make a sincere absolute apology take complete responsibility for the sign stealing which is probably going on for decades in baseball but none the less it was taken to a new level and instead of really I'm not today and I guess over the weekend it was the latest attempt at damage control by the by the Astros owner but but he also said that that that they wouldn't do I basically the best team won and and that this is no big deal and and he didn't take responsibility a PR disaster is building for the Astros but to the Astros inside the clubhouse does that make a difference our our bring it definitely does and I think dusty Baker's does work out for not just from a playing standpoint but how do you handle things as the season moves all I think it I think it comes from the top down really to be honest with you what comes down to really showing some transparency giving giving an apology that some folks are most folks can accept only some people are not going to accept anything that yeah but I I just I I do not agree with the way that this was handled by the Astros organization I think there's a lot of cover up continuing to go on and there's no ownership of the issue even though it's already been proven that it happened now he is he said with a straight face yesterday quote this is the owner quote our opinion is that this did not impact the game on quote here a pitcher can anyone in baseball really say that if you know what pitch is coming it does not impact the game is that realistic hello I will give you if you if you know what's coming in you've got a better chance to hit the ball over here they are I don't think they is any doubt about it there's a there's a reason that sensor gives the signals between his legs and button just stand up and announce it to the stand I mean that okay let's just let's just face if you know what's coming you got a better chance to have that or not swing at all and I think that this ultimately has become a just ridiculous for the Astros the way that they've handled it it's not that they cheated that's bad enough in itself but the fact that you don't own up to it that's just got a criminal if you ask me in train said quote I don't think I should be held accountable on quote he hard expensive PR firm to help him deal with his he might not have been paying attention to the PR firm got a light truck does quite often and that crane is out there saying I don't think it affected the game and I'm not accountable what PR firm would tell him that well that someone has a whole lot of money and it's not facing accountability evidently he's got off the hook more times than watch and the problem that you have at least in my mind is if your leaders do not step up to the plate why would you expect anybody else to know the answer is of course they didn't and at this point instead of cutting it off and saying you know we've dealt with that it causes more difficulties and does this play into the Pete rose situation I think Pete rose often has been his own worst enemy but you know obviously thirty one or thirty two years in limbo is is and enough it isn't it true that things like steroids and sign stealing the wrong way and you're not you understand sign stealing takes place all the time but at how does Major League Baseball now say that the punishment for pay rose is forever but these players got zero punishment well I I don't know how you how you handle that Willie that that's for guys in the ultimately make the final decisions I mean it is on a date is in a bad spot and so the astra pledges faces everybody's in a bad spot I don't think one is any better than the other to be honest with you but it is a problem and I don't know that it's going away especially in the Astros concern and I think every time that something comes up of this nature the the name of Pete rose is gonna come up as well and I I think that gambling on baseball it is a problem I don't think that it's going away matter of fact I think it could come back again because of all the things that we're seeing with gambling and that that's just those those are two problems and I don't know I don't know that you get away from a couple years have to learn how to deal with it and also the other day a roll this Chapman who throws about hundred five miles an hour took umbrage at some of the behaviors of the Astros what's going to happen in New York when the Astros show up to play and that the missile was on the mound and I'll to raise bad with the players inside the game take retribution against the Astros are I can't say no to that really I I would I mean if it was made in the uniform and I'm marauders Chapman it's not.

"So that aims bring you all the hardware news. We are not going to talk about the switch this week. Or the financial reports it is all about Intel NVIDIA forty nine thousand new CPU's. What may be a disappointing entry level GP from NVIDIA and the fate of five G folding phones and other mayhem Norton joined has always been Mr. Sebastian peak? Who is here. I'm one of emerging from is a week of basically being useless because I was sick. But I guess it happens. I got I got what everybody else had gotten a couple of months ago. And so when I went to the doctor he was like we've pretty much haven't seen any of this for a while. But. Relates gave me almost nothing. He did inform you that. I was sick though. Which was very reassuring. It's nice to have that external validation. Like, you're sick. There's no doubt about that. Like, let's screaming helpful. Thank you for that. I thought this was just the way I'd feel as of the ex, and I was I came back from CBS once was strep throat, and the doctor the ER docs, say I woke up the day after I got back, and I was squeaking when I breathed because my one tonsil gotten swollen to the size of a baseball. I exaggerate is only the size of golf ball. But the doctor was like you run into ER doctors. And they're just like, I'm so cool. I'm so chill like it's probably just a viral infection. We can't do anything and he's like, click and leans forward. Oh, lots of bacterial infection and literally starts walking backwards from me. I was like, oh doctor does that mean you can help me. He's like, you know, like putting a script down on the table, and pointing at it in a it's like, thanks, doc. They really don't like to give anti-biotics these days. I've noticed unless they absolutely have to. Antibiotics? Well, that's a discussion for another show antibiotics have been so it's when you start running into antibiotic resistance stuff because people spent too many years giving people antibiotics because you know, you had to do something to justify what you're recharging people. And then I'll lead me straight into a big deep digression on Oxycontin, which nobody needs to hear right now, we do need year, though, about hope. That was going to say look, Patrick just give me out of -biotics steroids. It's all I want and then and some painkillers and a bony. Oh, I in tell twenty third Tuesday this week until announced give or take forty nine thousand new processors. It was an unusual announcement, even by Intel's standards because I I want to say there was upwards of twenty new ninth gen mobile processors. Right. This is the the the, you know, we had the desktop processes fall the mobile process came out a lot of the the news. Lot of the excitement was all around this crazy new I nine ninety nine eighty eight k. Which is running eight cores sixteen threads and up to five gigahertz. I think personally is going to be a cooling nightmare. No matter. How giant your laptop is and some of the stuff they were describing with us. Right. So these are essentially coffee like updates, but one the the corden city on that processor must be kind of insane. As you come to expect, you know up to eighteen percent higher frames per second. You know, compared to a laptop that you should have gotten rid of four years ago. Kind of stuff the. You know, the thing I think was most exciting for me about this one looking at like core, I seven's or now, you know, six core twelve threats and these are all forty five watt eight series parts. Right. So they're all premium full size, creative, laptops, gaming, laptops. But like I nine zero eight core. Sixteen thread core seven six core thrill twelve threads core..
