As the start of the French Open approaches on Sunday, defending champions via tech is ranked number one, sabalenka is number two and is number four. Bob Iger Is Making Political, Not Business, Decisions
"Disney is doing very poorly right now As is its parent company Iger is running the company into the ground Into the toilet He's laid off thousands of employees He spends very little time in Florida He's based in California Where he's vetted by radical leftists and Democrats And he is a political animal And he pushes an agenda Now he of course can put his company's money wherever it wants I just wonder what shareholders think of this I would say to the shareholders of Disney number one why are you still there Of number two I would ask you another question Do you think they ought to build that office complex in California With a personal income tax rate can go to 13% Or in Florida where they have no income tax rate You see Iger's not making business decisions And he's not being criticized for that you see he's a brave man staining up the desantis Iger is making political decisions Just as Disney was making political decisions when it came to what was to be taught in public school classrooms And Iger wanted to when he took Disney back over like it's his own toy much like un takes over North Korea Agar decided I'll decide what goes on on these classrooms But nobody elected Iger whose based out of California

Kyle Seraphin: FBI Investigation Into Trump Lacked Evidence
"Kyle you will remember the FBI So although you weren't an active member of this Trump investigative team you understand the process is better than the average guy and even better than other federal agents because every entity Secret Service DEA whatever has their own processes Now one of the things I found deeply disturbing about this is they move to a full investigation on Donald Trump and his team despite John dorm acknowledging in the report that quote they never possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings Any Kyle they don't say a little bit it was on the margin they had no evidence So how is it in the FBI that this didn't even go to a preliminary investigation but a full investigation with no evidence isn't there some documentation have to produce It's funny So the way that that works is that somebody agrees to sign off on it And when the deputy director which was Andy mccabe at the time goes and tells his buddy Peter strzok who was the deputy assistant director of counterintelligence to go open this case and do it as a full investigation then that's who signs off on It's the number two guy in the FBI signed off on it I'm using this got me blocked by Peter struck today I've been waiting for this for kind of a while actually But he finally blocked me because he does this whole thing and he goes you know the Clinton foundations they opened a preliminary investigation how dare them And it's like yeah Pete That's actually how the book works The policy says when you have some allegation but it's unsubstantiated you do a preliminary investigation tops You don't start with a full investigation This is a cell phone that you always did But end of the day the guy doesn't care about policy or law or his marriage vows You know he's just a dirtbag And amusingly he still out there being listened to by the left because they can't help but celebrate these guys who are heroes to them but violated federal law violated FBI policies and really made a clown show of that organization that used to have some respect in this country now half the country is looking at them like they're the enemy

Eternal Truths and Timeless Wisdoms With Dennis Prager
"Was really enjoying one of your Bible commentaries the other day. Exodus. Which is excellent. You have deuteronomy out now. Is that correct? Right. And there was one part. I just opened up randomly. You can open up randomly. Because it's a series of essays as much as it is a book. So it doesn't right, correct. You could start in the last chapter. Sequential reading. As a Christian, I found it to be fascinating. The moral advance of eye for an eye. Walk our audience through that. So my Bible commentary, there's genesis exodus and deuteronomy are out. I have numbers in leviticus left. So I realized earlier in my life that I could explain stuff that people dismiss as primitive. That intellectual honesty shows how great this stuff is. I for an eye was a moral advance. It sounds bad to the modern mind, which is not all that wise, but it was an immense achievement. Number one, it said, an eye for an eye, not a life for an eye, not two eyes for an eye. So it abolished death for anything except death, and it abolished revenge. Oh, you. You caused me to lose an arm. I'm gonna take both your arms and both your legs. So it was, you have to have justice. Not revenge. Number two, it couldn't be exacted. You can't do the same amount of damage. And God or Moses or whomever you ascribe those biblical verses to knew that. They weren't done then, they knew you can't exactly take out an eye. And that's pre surgery. You're probably going to kill the guy if you try to take out an eye. So it was understood as a statement of egalitarianism, not a statement of practice. Human

Is the US Government Headed for Financial Disaster?
"Number two. How might the government avoid default are the Republicans being unfair? Okay, this is not really explaining itself, but I'm assuming that the person asking the question is wondering about the debt ceiling and so on and so forth. Ladies and gentlemen, you ought to know this by now. Government likes to spend money. Here's the problem. It's my money. It's your money. They need to be reigned in traditionally, it is conservatives who understood this better than Democrats who are in favor of big government and who don't mind spending us into the tank. But many, many Republican Republicans, including George Bush and Donald Trump, have done a pretty bad job on this as well. I think we need to be extremely rigorous. And do everything we can to not just lower the debt ceiling, but to lower the debt, we've got to get serious about this. And anybody showing any leadership on that is my hero.

Must-Have Bookshelf: Why Even Non-Readers Need It
"Now you could say, well, people are listening on audible, which is perfectly admirable, or even on reading on Kindle. And all of that is true. Nevertheless, not to have ten books worthy of one shelf, so I recommend to people, and I'll tell you on what basis, and you'll certainly identify with this having been through my home a number of times. So I think people should have a bookshelf of books, even if they didn't read one of the books in the bookcase. You have that. Sean said that. Sean has many bookcases of books either. So it is a statement that I value the life of the mind. I value the intellect. I value the book. So I strongly recommend that people somewhere have it. Number two, I know how big an impact this makes on the visitor because of my room with at least a thousand books. At least. I own about 6000 books, but I don't have the room for them. Should the Movie 'Nefarious' Be Turned Into a Play?
"Question number two, here's the topic, nefarious. It's a movie, right? What if it were a play? A traveling play, Eric, let's combine your idea and mine. Yes, the movie nefarious should be a play. Only I have a different actor in mind for the play. That person would be max McLean. This would be a perfect production for the center for performing arts as a traveling show, max could pull it off as he was screw tape if you remember. I could try to pass this idea on to him, but he'd be more likely to listen to you or taxes. Thank you. Yes. Well, I have mentioned that I thought that the Steve dais film nefarious should be put on as a stage play. I mean, it almost reads like a stage play, even the film. It has that feeling. So I think it should be a stage play. I would not see my friend max McLean in the role of the demonically possessed. Criminal murderer just because screw tape is a very urbane C. S. Lewis kind of demonic compared to the raw horror of the character played in nefarious. So maybe max would want to do that and could do that. But I wouldn't see that. I would see my friend Brad Stein. I actually mentioned this on the air, I think, the other day. Yeah, you did, yeah. Brad Stein or someone who can really, really play a dark, twisted, disturbed character, because that's who Brad really is. I wish I had lunch with him. That's who he is 24/7. Brad Stein, the comedian is a genius who I think could pull that off. Yeah. And I would say they ought to make it a stage play. Yep. Do you realize how epic this is on every level? Yes. And you know why it's epic because it confirms my theory. There's no because they're getting a lot of heat now from the left. Nobody can believe CNN is legitimizing. Right. Donald Trump this way. They can not believe the progressives are losing their minds. Can't believe that the left that CNN of all places. Why would you invite this guy? Right, you know why they're going to invite him? Because they're propping him up like they did in 2016 and this time they're lifting him up because they think he's going to get beaten the general. They're terrified of Ron DeSantis. How do you like that for a theory on its Tuesday? It is as plausible as any because it's so weird and it starts with the following. One of the following two sentences is true. One of the two, ready? A, Donald Trump is seriously flawed so much so that even Biden could beat him. Here's sentence number two. People are not grasping that Trump's appeal is still rock solid. Biden is very nearly comatose and Trump will roll over him. One of those two is true. I don't know which one it is, and I'm entertained by people who think they do.

Tucker Carlson Breaks His Silence
"Tucker speaks. That's right, Tucker Carlson released a video last evening. Two minute video to be precise. It is a two minute and 14 second video. Well over 50 million people have viewed at least part of the video over 17 million people have watched the video in its entirety. At first glance, it just seems to kind of be a normal video of Tucker talking about big themes, but there's a lot to it. So first we must get our facts right, Tucker Carlson is still in a contract dispute with Fox. Reports are showing that Fox is going to try to keep Tucker Carlson on the sidelines, still pay him his $20 million salary, but keep him out of the 2024 race. That's number one. Number two, it's likely that Tucker Carlson has a non disparagement clause with Fox, which means anything he says publicly, he can't bash Fox, he can't attack Fox, he can't go after the leadership of Fox. Now we know that he's under contract at least until next spring, but maybe into the spring of 2025. Fox made a calculated move. Because of Tucker's effective critique of neoliberalism because of the mounting lawsuits or because of whatever you want to believe, they believe that it's okay to take a 47% rating hit, which is what's happened so far. Keep Tucker on the sideline and pay him $20 million a year and try to rebuild the network. You know, there's a, there's a tall poppy syndrome that exists at Fox News, tall poppy syndrome is a Scandinavian mentality, which is that no person can be greater than the others. And if you actually know tall poppy syndrome, it comes from this idea that as soon as you try to get too high above the rest, they take you out. It's literally how it works in growing poppies, literally if one gets too high, doesn't not even allowed to exist in the state of nature.

Number three, favorite starburst flavor color. Pink. Pink. She did say she was a 100% certain she could get those first three. She did. Now this one. Those are easy. Yeah. And then we got really difficult here. Expert level. All right. All right, so the way the way I read this question was, if Anthony felt shame, which we know he doesn't, what would be his most embarrassing moment of his life. We were on a cruise ship and Megan, so she doesn't like the fact that I got out of the shower and use a towel to dry my buttocks. How else are you supposed to dry your buttocks? So we got called up for a newlywed game. And she told an entire cruise ship about 4000 people that I use wash towels to wipe my arms. So the entire cruise ship thinks I use washcloths. For one time wipes. And then throw them out. That might get pricey, man. That's a little embarrassing. That actually yeah, that would be immersion. All right, well, she didn't say anything. So thanks for sharing that. She did say she thought maybe there was a work story that you just had recently, but she couldn't remember exactly what it was. It works story. Well, I also said that if you come up with something, then I would just say that he has no shame. Because not a lot of embarrassing me. I mean, that was just like, we were on, we were literally on stage. And she told you were embarrassed by that. An entire cruise ship. Well, you were probably drinking at that point, right? Yeah, you're on a cruise ship. So if you weren't drinking, you might have felt a little more embarrassed, but we were literally in margaritaville. There you go. That's why we're doing the Jimmy Buffett stuff, by the way, I had my literally had all four of my songs done in the first minute of the episode. We were on a lovely cruise. In one sentence. Yeah. All right. We asked the next question was, what is your biggest pet peeve? She did it more towards her. What your biggest pet peeve with her is. So with her, oh, it's her and her mom. I don't think our mom listens, but her mom will say, she'll tell me something and then she'll say like, you know what I mean? Or something like that. Something like that. "This is a small batch, just a front brat. 5 bucks. All right. 5 bucks. Done. Not for a beer. But that's my sleeper pick is that he is going to be good for someone. I don't know if he's going to be like fantasy football, starter good. But I think he's going to be heck of a football player and watching him and the Kansas state team kind of make that run this year was fun to watch. So that is my sleeper pick. I'll root for him once he's an undrafted free agent. Give me the send me that $5. All right, I got two more to throw at you. I'm giving you some guys I like mid a mid round running back and a later round wide receiver. Partly for their name, so the first guy is he about a Conda, pit running back. Big name fast. Dude had, I believe a pit record against Virginia tech. He ran for like 300, something yards and 5 touchdowns, just sick game. He actually was like third and the country in rushing yards this year. And I didn't hear much about him until recently. And I watched a little bit of him and he's a fun watch, so I think he'll get drafted higher than what is being put out there right now. Probably a guy you have to spend a mid to late second on in your rookie drafts. And the wide receiver and a class full of small guys, I want to give you a bigger name, a bigger guy, and that's another guy with a cool name, Xavier Hutchinson, out of Iowa state. Similar size to Jonathan mango is like 6 two two ten. I don't know where he's going to get drafted, but I watched a little bit of him and I think he can be a successful number two to three wide receiver in the NFL. So depending on where he gets drafted, he's probably a guy you can get in the fourth round of your rookie draft. Ryan told us really with his last two people who he wants to tighten to pick. We are going to have a pod the night before the draft. So this could change, but rob, as of right now, who is your target for the bills? And I keep calling back and forth. "So I think trying to think when did they trade they traded for the pick after the combine though? So they could have fallen in love with Anthony Richardson based on what they saw there. I don't think teams would fall in love with someone based on the combine. Especially when he didn't do anything like amazing. He didn't have it. It was on my birthday. Yeah. We were at we were at linwood. When they made that trade yeah, you're right. That was for sure after the combine. Yeah. Yeah, so I feel like they had to have had their mind made up when they made that trade. Right. It kind of feels like the media, they make the combine a huge thing. Yeah, 'cause NFL wants it to be a story, right? They always want to be the headliner. So they make it count. I'm bigger than it is. They make the trade deadline bigger than it is. Right. They make the drama of who's going to be the first pick, try to stretch out as long as possible, even though they probably know who it is. Yeah, for sure. I mean, imagine this NFL scout being like oh my God, did you see Anthony Richardson was really big and fast? That blows our mind. Like, no shit. There it is. He's always been really big and fast. Like everyone knew that he was a freak of nature. It doesn't mean just because he went to the combine and had put up historical numbers. I think it's differently of them. It's just seeing the numbers and comparing the numbers to past prospects who have had those big numbers and they went on to perform, probably maybe like a mar Jackson, right? I mean, I don't think he performed at the combine, but his pro day numbers were good. So I listened to some scouts and they talk about how you never double count though. Like you never double count a guy's speed. You go, you say, wow, he's really fast and you create I'm very good in the film. On the film, and then he goes to the combine and he runs a four four and it's like, yeah, he was really fast. You don't then again say, boop, bump him up because no, you knew he ran something around. He was already a positive for him. Right. So you don't just give him another plus. So I found that interesting. So I was just wondering, Richardson is going to go as high as people think he will. "I think the reason why I don't like going to sports event sporting events is because the coverage when you're watching it on television is so much better, in my opinion, like the different camera angles also you can see up close. I would so much rather just be at home in the comfort of my house, people not drinking around me and the atmosphere. Yeah, I don't like I don't care for the atmosphere because it's just what it is. So sporting events aren't going to make my list and regular concerts like a country concert or a rock or whatever it may be. I don't really like those either just because I mean, once again, you usually get a bunch of drunk idiots and people trying to start fights and stuff like that and I'd rather just listen to a CD or not a CD, but you know we don't do that anymore, but a digital version of the music and be by myself. But things that I do that I would like going to or something like the trans Siberian orchestra. So maybe just like an orchestra performance because the people there aren't drinking and you know like Christmas music translated. And they're going to play exactly. Have you seen them before? No, but I really want to go. So I'm a long time ago. I'm ready to go again. It was fun. I went once Megan and I went, it was a lot of fun. We got to go then, let's go. And my fourth pick, I've never seen it. And like I said, as I get older, there's just certain things that a teenager I would have laughed at, and now I would think I would actually kind of like to go see a ballet, so I'm gonna throw that as my number four. Maybe daughter will dance. Well, I was gonna say, as my event, I was gonna say, 'cause my daughter is going, she's gonna try dance here. I think in a week. Oh. So I was gonna say as my event just going to see my daughter do her thing and I mean, she's not gonna be doing anything by rolling on the floor and my daughter's water a year and a half older than yours. She has her first recital. In June, so see how that goes. That would be super exciting for me. So that would be, but I'll just go with ballet in general. I'm not gonna lie, I was eating some pretty alcohol so cherries. I would say some bourbon cherries over here is outreach and I see your face. So usually I type to the answer, I don't even, I don't remember what you picked in the third round. Oh, transparent orchestra. Got it. Yeah. Fourth round. My fourth round pick if you haven't picked up on the song segment that Ryan does, I'm not a huge music fan. So music is not gonna make my list. I do enjoy golf and baseball, which is making me realize I'm probably in the minority in that. So I'm gonna say the World Series game 7. Preferably the braves. I'm gonna land a braves fan. Our playing in it, they just won two years ago. But so that'll be my fourth round pick, is the World Series game 7, go braves.

"Nike. And then, none of us are a big wrestling fans. But how does The Rock pee? He joins his Johnson. I don't know if it was a joke to the delivery, but you nailed this week. Jesus. We need to do our episode Saturday night every week, huh? Yeah, I'm gonna get my eyes to stop ordering. All right, with that being said, we will go to the draft. We are now since this is somewhat a football podcast. A week and a half ish away from the actual draft, the NFL Draft. Super exciting. That being said, we are going to be drafting this week and event that Argus our favorite events that we would want to attend or have attended. That could be anything from a Super Bowl, a draft, the NFL Draft, a Taylor Swift concert, a Kevin Hart, comedian. Yeah, please stop naming all right. Thank you. It could be any of those. Draft order this week is rob, myself, Ryan. So with one O one, rob, what do you have? I think I'll how specific do I want to get? I'm going Super Bowl, but I think I want to say how stressful do I want to make this for myself. I want to say bill's Super Bowl because I want the bills to be in it. But do I want to be there if the bills are planning? I'm not sure. But I do want to build to be in the Super Bowl so give me the Super Bowl with the bills in it. The bill, well, we can't take the Super Bowl. So you're taking the ball. You're just adding the extra detail. Yeah, I just want to, I just want to specifically say the bills are in it. My event. Well boys, I have four left. So this could get real tricky. There's only four other events in the world that you would want to attend.

"To the ultra flex football podcast where we have fun with our friends while we talk about football. Tonight, we just have the original trio of myself. Rob green. What's up? And Ryan Wheeler. How do you hold y'all? Travis is not able to join us for this episode. But we'll try to keep it as on schedule as we can. So Ryan, what do we got on the album? So last week or two weeks ago, whatever it was, we had sturgill Simpson's metamodern sounds in country music. And what even is that? I don't know. I think he's like where'd you get that from? Where did I get sturgill Simpson that? Dude, he's got some great songs on that album. You know, I like that. Songs about love and I want to say like zen, but that sort of idea. A lot of the songs on that album are about that and the awakening process of that he went through while doing drugs, basically. Just so everyone knows Ryan has given me crap or a hard time, I should say. We're doing this on a Saturday night. I haven't had a couple of drinks. So we'll see what happens on this episode. But he gave me a hard time about suggesting albums by Lynyrd Skynyrd and today with Ryan will tell you is Jimmy Buffett. But it's fine that you can name whoever I don't even know who you just named to be honest with you. Sturgill, sturgill Simpson. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he's modern or meta modern. The album that we did, I think last week, two weeks ago, came around like 2014. So it's a lot more modern than 1978, Jimmy Buffett, with his album, which is probably just check like the Spotify monthly listeners to see who gets listened to more. That'd be a good way to say it was more popular, right? That would be interesting because I'm pretty sure I have no idea. Jimmy Buffett's probably more popular than probably. Sturgill Simpson. But Jimmy Buffett's album that we're doing this week is changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes. I don't know if it was actually from 1978, but it was somewhere around there. Wait, what did you say changes in latitudes changes in attitudes? Yeah, you're funny. All right. Got one off the list. Nice job, rob. You know. If there was, I want to just say, if we ever had apocalyptic situation and I was in the shelter, I would miss you guys so badly. From the serious landfall that would come. And I would just hope that I wasn't down in biloxi where I wouldn't be able to see you guys one last time. You know? Where is that? Sounds like a Mississippi. Sounds like a tampico trauma. And he said, because of the goaltender Carey Price Might need one of those games here in the next two in order to get his team back in it. I think it's fair to say that the best team has not won both games in this series. Oftentimes over seven games that comes out in the wash, right. We saw it in the Vegas Montreal series. Not necessarily the best team won every game, but at the end of the day when they got to game six, I believe Montreal have been Those three games. Certainly the case in game to the Canadians feel like they were the better team, but they feel like they've got to get more traffic in front of Vasilevskiy. Don't think. Well, the screens that Utah Yes, it's treason. And I think the other thing is, you know the second, the second chance opportunities as well as I I truly believe that Montreal was the better team and game number two. I thought they controlled the pace. They got away from all the things that they wanted to adjust to after Game one. Not as many turnovers, getting the puck in deep hitting more. Just the entire pace of their game was much, much better. And their penalty killing got better again as the you know they were three for three. So to me, Montreal was the much better game team in Game number two. Unless you can't score two goals in two games and expect you know to be ahead in the series or even tied in the series. That's a great point. Now going back to Montreal's win in the semifinals against the Vegas Golden Knights. They went into that series, having.
