First Leading Cause of Inflation Is Biden's Government Spending

"Go ahead And I'm here today to talk about solutions And there's going to be more We're going to have to talk about as well But first I want us to be crystal clear about the problem There are two leading causes of inflation we're seeing today Now ladies and gentlemen the first cause inflation Is spending like drunken marxists When you effectively print more paper you devalue the dollar You devalue its worth So you need more paper a bigger income a bigger pension more money To buy what you bought the day before That's what causes inflation Government causes inflation Government spending causes inflation Government borrowing causes inflation Government policy causes inflation I'm not Nostradamus But over a year ago I told you when they were passing these bills that they were destructive of our economic system they would cause hyperinflation And then along come 19 repute led by Mitch McConnell Who thrown with another trillion or so with so called infrastructure which most has not been used for infrastructure and much has gone into a dark hall So 19 republique in the cynic are also responsible Including Mitch McConnell But before that you'll recall they spent trillions of dollars on COVID but the problem is it didn't go to COVID So the vast majority didn't go to COVID It went to state governments particularly blue governments And the vast majority of the so called infrastructure money 91% of it didn't go to infrastructure

"Yeah, Tesla. Yeah. He was obviously like a smart guy, but there's all this fake information around Nostradamus that he predicted his own death. He didn't. That he was dug up at one point. And he was wearing a medallion that stated the exact date that they would dig him up. He's like, no, that didn't happen. All of these things about him that are just wrong. Yeah. And it's really he I'm going to do that though. Okay. You're going to wear a medallion. And just hope that. I'm just telling people to dig me out. Okay, I was gonna say 'cause if you're right, then you're really right. Just do it like for three weeks from my burial date. And wait, am I digging you up? What's happening here? Did I just agree to this? Yeah, but I should let you know I want to actually decompose. So it's just going to be bones. I don't want them to put a bunch of gunk in my body. I want to decompose in the ground. Okay, well, it sounds like we need to really work all this out. Okay. Okay. So he's a complicated figure and all these ideas have arisen that he predicted Hitler and World War II, and 9 11. The 9 11 prediction is like two birds fly into a store and buy crackers and people are like, oh my God, it's the two twin towers. Yeah, it was like in the new city. I think he mentions the new city. And that's who's in it. Right, exactly. And then it says like two giant rocks and they will fight each other. And I'm not sure if that one's even original. That's the hard thing with Nostradamus is that even like shortly after he died, there would be reproductions of his works and those would be altered, and then so it's kind of like that. The Bible situation exactly where it's really hard to determine what we're even the original writings because there's so many different versions and everybody tweaks them every time they interpret them. And there's all kinds of clever ways that prognosticators will twist Nostradamus predictions to match things that already happened. So rather than predicting anything, they will. So as we were looking at this new year, which we'll talk about in our next episode, I was looking at 2022 predictions by Nostradamus, and I was thinking, wait a second. How do they even do that? Like, is there a system by which they say that this little four line poem matches up to the year 2022? Right. Not very well. And he has these writings le prophecy that are numbered by centuries and then each of them has a hundred quadrants. So you think that each quatrain was tied to one year and that they go in sequence through like 600 years or something. You would think that. Which would be kind of cool, especially if there were any matchups, but no, like no one even claims that they're somehow in order. They just like retroactively go in. They say, oh, well, one of the famous interpreters of Nostradamus said that a mention of his river was actually that's Hitler. Who is a river? We all know. Because we can change that if we want to. Anyway, so I remember with 9 11, one of the commonly passed around quotes weren't even one of the originally claimed Nostradamus quatrains. They even changed that to make it sound more like 9 11. So anyways, anytime you hear Nostradamus, just know it's a big, crazy mess behind whatever someone is saying about this. Hold to account the person actually in front of you. Right. Making the prediction. Right. Not poor Nostradamus from his grace. It says less about him than it does about them. Exactly. So with that in mind, I was looking at these 2022 predictions. And again, wondering, how do people who say they're reading Nostradamus? How did they pick random quatrains and say, this is going to be for the next year? Yeah. And I think it is just random, you know, whatever looks good to them. Someone tell me if I'm wrong about that. Another funny thing is anytime you read one of those articles that says what Nostradamus predicts, usually it cites another article. So you click on that. And then that one cites another article so you click on that one. It's just this big weird circle jerk where they're all referring to themselves. So you're like, who actually came up with this? So many times had to follow one of those threads. The most maddening one like that was I've been working on this side project and it involves a murder and I laughed as you were saying murder now I feel bad. Funny we're talking about murder. Murder a long time ago in the 60s. Oh, that's funny. But there was like a rumor that the guy murdered was secretly gay, and I didn't know if that actually held water and if I should be thinking of this as relevant or not. Oh, let's go look at a source. Yeah, so I follow source to source to source end up calling a woman who wrote like an ebook that everyone's referencing. Hi. Oh, you're just a lady grade. Okay, where did you get it? Okay. Like chasing this thing down. And finally, it turned out it was a psychic medium who had gone to the site of his death and talked to his ghost. No. Yeah, and this is like on Wikipedia as a fact. Yeah. Did you edit the Wikipedia article? No. Oh, okay. Well, one of these sites that I ended up with, it had like a more thorough breakdown of predictions by Nostradamus. It was called yearly dash horoscope dot org and they had a variety of other types of predictions, but I noticed everything they had on this whole domain was for 2022. And I thought, well, did they just bring into it existence? Or do you have past predictions as well? So of course I went into the Internet Archive at archive dot org, the wayback machine. And I put in that website a year ago. And same predictions. I was hoping for that. That would have been even better, but they had a list of 2021 predictions from Nostradamus that are not accessible on the website. So let's see how we did. Okay, yeah, how do you do? Number one, zombie apocalypse. What? I found this on multiple websites where they reported based on his quatrain and this is an English translation of the French original. And of course, lots of leeway has taken in the translations. Few young people half dead to give a start, so the half Christopher rocket speaking. Half dead was young people of dead. Few young people. Well, this is how Nostradamus talks, right? Dead through spite. He will cause the others to shine and in an exalted place some great evils to occur curated does sound like it's wrong. Sad concepts will come to harm each one. Temporal dignified the mass to succeed. Okay, okay. Why? That was two quadrants. Why? Didn't they just say that's about COVID? Why did they say zombie apocalypse? Yeah. Yeah, who actually expects the zombie apocalypse? Okay, irrelevant and no reason to tie it to 2021 more than any other reasons to erase it from your website. Don't be ashamed of that insanity. Okay. I won't give all of the actual cloud trains, but they predicted a famine of biblical proportions. Okay. Actually, the world has been remarkably famine free in recent memory. Number three, Muslims will lead the world. Muslims will lead the world. I mean, not in any notable way that's different from any other year. Okay. Solar storms. Solar storms. Were there any of those? That's a good question. Let's see and how common are they? Yeah, I mean, this sort of happened all the time. Looks like there was one in December 20th. Around Christmas..

Which is where you randomly opened a book and work from whatever you happen to find on the page. no sir. thomas has use of many of these. ancient sources. Didn't come to light until almost one hundred years after his death. It should also be noted that the additions of lay prophecy were all different from from each other given the state of printing at the time there were differences in how the words relate on the page and how they were spelled. The differences in spelling causes huge problems for people try to interpret the trains and find meaning where there is often a single character difference between some words most of the quad trains deal with disasters. Wars or other calamities however they do so in a very vague and general sense over time. Most nostradamus enthusiasts have been able to find support for almost every major event. That had ever happened. They found trains which they claim predicted the rise of hitler. The french revolution landing on the moon the september eleventh attacks and assassination of john f. kennedy in fact some trains have been interpreted to have prophesized multiple different events given how vaguely they're worded. This is not surprising yet. Some people claim that his prophecies have been uncannily accurate at least some of them perhaps the most famous quad train is where he supposedly names hitler by name. They're almost four thousand lines of train. So i'm not going to go through most of them. But i will read the passage with the supposed- hitler prediction. It comes from century to quash rain. Twenty four quote beast ferocious with hunger. We'll cross the rivers. The greater part of the battlefield will be against history into a cage of iron. Will the great one be drawn when the child of germany observes nothing and quote what people go nuts about with this quad. Train is the word history. Because it's one letter away from the word hitler. Well what most people don't realize is that picture is one of the latin names for the danube river. We know that nostradamus us. Quite a bit of latin so the use of a latin term shouldn't be surprising. The big thing is that beyond the close spelling of one word to hitler the rest of the quad train really doesn't mean much of anything. The word germany's in there. Which i suppose really cements the association in the mind of some people but there isn't a whole lot else when you move beyond the individual words it doesn't make much sense. "Anti christ and it appeared that nostra domus copied it to write one of his prophetic versus. Even more suspicious nostradamus actually claim to have burned most of the books in his library before he died maybe he wanted to ensure that no one noticed the similarities between them and his predictions then again. Maybe nostradamus had visions of the future. That were similar to the christian saints after all they were supposedly receiving visions of the same future. When it hasn't yet come to fruition. Then maybe we measure does suggest that nostradamus believed history was cyclical. He thought that events that happened previously were bound to reoccur in the future today. We have saying that those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. Nostradamus thought we were doomed to repeat it no matter what. The measure sites this genus principle based on the roman deity of beginnings transitions and -ality janus was frequently depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. One saw the future and one saw the past the measures. Evidence that nostradamus practice biblical. Nancy is pretty compelling. It's impossible to ignore the similarities between his prophetic trains. "About your mrs life in exile but we do know that this is when he started having visions of the future. During this period nostradamus also the methods of ancient prophets. The most influential was the oracle of delphi. Which had been an important part of grecian culture from the eighth century. Bc to four hundred eighty. The oracle was a title given to a priestess at the temple of apollo located. In the greek city of delphi supposedly apollo gave one priestess in each generation the power to predict future events. Rulers came to her before declaring war entering marriage. Commoner's traveled hundreds of miles to seek her council over the centuries. These oracles use many different methods to divine the future. But the most common techniques were fire gazing. Or s- crying with fire gazing the oracle would stare at leaping flames until a vision appeared but skying was more complicated. A bowl called us crying. Glass was filled with water until it was as smooth as a mirror then. The oracle stared at the water until her visions appeared. Nostradamus adopted this method of divination and combined it with his grandfather's kabbalah lessons. He sat in his study late at night. Meditating just as the cabal did but he also incorporated crying glass which has win visions of the future started to appear and they were startlingly accurate nostra. Domas didn't always need to use the screen glass. Sometimes as visions came to him out of nowhere one of his earliest prophecies reportedly came when he visited a humble franciscan monastery as he arrived. A group of moms came out to greet him. As soon as nostradamus laid eyes on one of them he fell to his knees and grab the ham the monks cloak nostradamus said. He had no choice but to kneel in front of his holiness. He explained that he just received a vision that this monk named felisa peretti would one day become the pope peretti and the other monks weren't sure what to make of this declaration at the time but three decades later in fifteen eighty five flee shea. Peretti was ordained as pope six deaths. The fifth nostradamus prophecy was fulfilled in fifteen forty seven after nine years in exile. The forty four year old. Nostradamus believed that the inquisitorial courts had forgotten about his indiscretion. He decided it was safe to return home to france and he was right. The church no longer had a warrant out for his arrest. They allowed nostradamus to live in peace provided he didn't cross them again. Nostradamus settled down in the small french town of salon. He remarried in prepared for a quiet retirement but abutting opportunity threw him into the national spotlight. In the sixteenth century. Short pamphlets called almanacs became extremely popular in western europe. They were usually written by strangers. Predicted things like the date of the summer and winter solstices which were extremely important to the french peasants. The summer solstice was the longest day of the year in the winter. Solstice was the shortest knowing. When these days occurred helped farmers estimate the best time to plant and harvest their crops. These almanacs included other information such as tide tables weather predictions and even news about current political scandals or wars they were basically message boards or newsletters but for the internet not to mention they were cheap to produce an extremely lucrative for their authors so in fifteen fifty nostra has decided to write and publish his own almanac. It forty seven. He was getting too old for the taxing life of travelling physician. He hoped that this extra income would help him support his family by this time. Nostradamus was an expert astrologer. It was simple for him to calculate the solstices and other important astronomical dates but he added something else to his almanacs that no other author could his prophetic visions. We don't know exactly what nostradamus was first almanac predicted no original copies have survived but we can assume that whatever the prophecy was it may have come true because the response was overwhelmingly positive. Nostradamus went on to publish around ten more almanacs. Each edition more popular than the last and his fame grew outside the borders of france spreading all throughout europe. Nostradamus quickly realized that people were mostly buying his almanacs for his predictions. So in fifteen fifty four. He announced he was going to ride at ten volume. Compendium of his visions called centuries or the prophecies. When his magnum opus was completed there were one thousand prophecies in total allegedly describing the next two thousand of human history by.

And they charge montgomery's lance goes through the kings helmet a splinter of wood pierces his i and enters the kings brain. He's carried out of the arena bleeding and week. They tried to get help but there is nothing that can be done and henry dies ten days later. Now catherine is obviously distraught by her husband's unexpected death. But she's like was it actually unexpected. Because she can't get nostradamus his prediction out of her mind breaking it down line by line. It all adds up. The young lion will overcome the older one. Henry was eleven years older than count. Montgomery so check on the field of combat in a single battle check. He will pierce his is through a golden cage. I honestly don't know of. Henry's helmet was gold but still check to wounds made one. Then he dies a cruel debt one splinter through the eye and brain and ten days of suffering. Sounds pretty cruel to me. It's eerie to the point. Where katherine decides she wants nostra to stick around the royal court. Donald fame starts to decline. He maintains some lingering popularity in france but for the most part the world moves on and over the centuries people forget about nostradamus the man and he becomes sort of this mythic figure. He's remembered as an all seeing prophet. Who might have even had magical powers which is understandable because as time passes more of his predictions seemed to be springing to life in absolutely devastating. Ways take this quad train from the enslaved populace songs chance and demands while princes and lords are held captive in prisons. These will in the future by headless idiots be received as divine prayers in seventeen eighty nine more than two hundred years after nostradamus wrote this poem. France enters a period of enormous upheaval. Tired of being treated like indentured servants. French workers wanted out with the wasteful monarchy and in with democracy so they take to the streets demanding change as they do. They chant and sing like the french national anthem gets written. In this period its lyrics. Call the working class of france to rise up and water their fields with the blood of nobility joie wasi the revolutionaries also kidnapped nobles and officials holding them captive and of course they trade with a little device called the guillotine which is made people headless about one hundred fifty years later. Another prediction seems to come true from the depths of the west of europe. A young child will be born. Poor people he who by his tongue will seduce a great troop his fame will increase towards the realm of the east sound eerily familiar in the early nineteen hundreds. There is an austrian born german who rose to power in western europe. His father died young so he grew up pretty poor and received little formal education in the nineteen twenties. This young leader starts giving these impassioned racist speeches which are unfortunately effective seductive even so seductive that people start to wonder whether there's a supernatural quality to the words rolling off his tongue because they appear to hypnotize people. Obviously talking about hitler. And he amasses a great deal of nazi troops many of which he sent to the east famously invading poland and later attacking the soviet union after world. War two breaks out nostradamus. Books really start flying off the shelves. A bookstore in paris sells three thousand copies in a single month. Everyone's looking for clues to what might happen next and one paw train has them terrified beasts ferocious with hunger will cross the rivers the greater part of the battlefield will be against histor- into a cage of iron. Will the great one be drawn when the child of germany observes nothing at this point. The german army is heading east in tanks. Which are basically cages of to get there. They need to cross mountains. Valleys and rivers including the danube river which flows from southern germany into eastern europe. And guess what the old name of. The danube river is history and a child of germany who observes nothing sounds like a pretty good description of a ruthless ignorant dictator. That's not the last prophecy of the war as you probably know at the end of world war two. The united states drops atomic bombs onto japanese cities. Here are shema and knock sake. Nearly four hundred years earlier nostra donald wrote near the gates and with into cities there will be scourges the like of which was never seen famine within plague. People put out by steel crying to the great immortal god for relief and the eerie coincidences. Just keep rolling two decades later people start claiming that a train about a great man falling predicted john. And bobby kennedy's assassination in nineteen sixty three and sixty eight almost thirty years after that. People are wondering whether nostradamus predicted. Princess diana's debt in a quad train. That can be translated to the last son of the man with the prophets name will bring diana to her day of rest. The wonder far in frenzied grief delivering a great people from subjugation. Diana was killed in a car crash on a sunday. The day of rest alongside a man named dodie fayette dodi's father is named muhammad. Which is the name of arguably the most famous prophet of all time. Four years later after the september eleventh. Terrorist attacks nostradamus. His book starts flying off the shelves again. One barnes and noble brooklyn has twenty customers asking for the prophecies in a single day. Why are people freaking out all because of this poem at forty five degrees. The sky will burn. Fire approaches the great new city immediately. A huge scattered flame leaps up when they want to have verification from the normans new york. City's latino is forty degrees but new city is pretty darn close to new york city. So yeah there does seem to be a lot of evidence that nostradamus was this miraculous soothsayer. I don't even have time to get into the rest of his predictions. Like the great fire of london. And the rise of napoleon louis pasteur and charlotte gall before you buy his books to see what tomorrow might have in store. And yes. Obviously it was a scary tragic event where people needed answers for what was happening looking back. At the supposed prophecy there are some very apparent holes. The quad train itself is undeniably vague. On he says is that there will be a fire in the great new city since nostradamus was writing this more than four hundred years ago any city in the us could be called a new city and fires happen every day and the other lines of the quattro don't have anything to do with nine. Eleven like they want to have verification from the normans. I have no idea what the medieval norman have to do with this conspiracy theorists got around the problem by just removing the line entirely the versions of the poem that went around after nine eleven were totally different from the original. There were added lines like in the city of york there will be a great collapse and to metal. Birds will crash into too tall statues ensure a little bit of fakery doesn't mean the actual poems are fraud too but this speaks to a larger problem. The fact is nostradamus intentionally kept his quad trains. Beg he wanted to keep it general so it would appeal to everyone in wall that ambiguity since for obviously still talking about his prophecies today it also means that his predictions are meant to make. Coincidences seem like fate looking at all the times where it seems like nostradamus predicted the future. There's a common factor there almost always times of widespread public uncertainty which fits with a trend when life is unstable doomsday. Predictions tend to get more popular. It's the same reason why. Conspiracy theories tend to pop up after major tragedies. It's a way to make sense out of the senseless. I mean think about it. Isn't it hard to accept that terrible. Things just happen at random for no reason. Doesn't it feel better to believe that. There's some grand plan. Four centuries in the making that all of the suffering and destruction around you is at least leading to something and then if you dig deep enough you can figure out when and where the next tragedy will happen and how to avoid it no matter how far fetched. It's seems though even if we know in our minds that nostradamus prophecies aren't true it's really hard not to buy into them his own kind of like ink blot tests. Once you see a picture in the chaos you can't force your mind to stop seeing it. And even if nostradamus his most hop your predictions are just confirmation bias. That doesn't mean we can close the books on him entirely. In fact the best evidence for him as a seer of sorts doesn't have anything to do with his written prophecies. It's just an average story from when he was alive back. When nostradamus was a doctor in france he was invited to a dinner party. At lord's house the host new of his.

"People speak like that it's like a full humility exactly and the astrologists were also not very condom. I mean you know that would say that astrologers of the time would sack and say with complete confidence that of true astrology understand list than nothing as is evident not merely to the learner but to the learners in astrology to as your works amply demonstrate you who cannot calculate the least movement of any heavenly body whatsoever so so you had his obviously eddie's critics and installed but nobody knows the name of that Astrology that right that piece but everybody knows adamas. Well i mean this is what's so interesting and popular culture. Obviously he's become this unbelievable source of all kinds of prophecy. But the problem with nostradamus prophecies. They should have run out some point. You know the more time you give a prophecy to come true over thousands and thousands of years. There's a huge likelihood that all of them will eventually come true. Even if you read it upside down eventually come true. But the fact is that people are still saying well. He had all kinds of predictions for twenty twenty and twenty twenty one. You didn't lay it out like a calendar. You have to find some verse some train somewhere and you have to sail. Well he's definitely talking about twenty thousand a year because he didn't put the fourteenth of april twenty twenty one x and y will happen and how far ahead that he actually think. Maybe you know on those magic mushrooms. And thomas no concepts. Maybe that's he's predictions could be of any time but that's also stretch united states getting the deitz together and working out what applies to look these massive events. Lock you mention of hitler. It's actually quite close. And that's the spooky pot and then and hindu the second look. That was very much in his own. Tom hinder the cable squats bookie so that's hard to say but then there's a lot of them that are all over the place so i think this guy was a pretty interesting chap even if we don't take any of his prophecies seriously certainly made a name for himself. I mean anybody who can go down in history with one would as their name cleopatra. Caesar nostradamus the these people who've managed to make themselves iconic in some way and he certainly did that i mean he he you know he died kind of ignominiously left a will for his children. Everything was well prepared. You would expect a prophecy of a guy who is a prophet to leave a decent will bind and he did that so he made sure everything was taken care of. It was all very tidy after his death. Because there's nothing worse than a psychic who doesn't know when they're gonna die exactly and they leave everything in disarray and he was quite wealthier from the achieved. Threes last night. Did well whether you believe anything that.

"And he was regarded by some people as being very dangerous but he was also supposed to have had supernatural abilities to predict the future and we can go through a few of these. I mean supposedly. He predicted with fair accuracy. The french revolution you know. He said parade lose their heads. I mean it was. It was in those exact words. He may or may not have predicted the the rise of louis pasta and the defeat of bacteria and bacterial infection even called him pasta as as in christian priest. But a lot of people say that that was just a soubriquet full. Pass to the guy who eventually develop penicillin. He's supposed to have predicted the two bombs on hiroshima and nagasaki because he spoke about these two explosions and then plague within plague and famine. That came afterwards in two great cities. And you know you could probably have found because a lot of his language is quite general. You could have found some other examples in history of two cities that were battling each other. The aston involve atomic bombs at all. But a lot of people say that. That's very close to the hiroshima-nagasaki story. Supposedly he predicted the rise. Napoleon correct but the way he wrote all these prophecies is in such a way that he wouldn't get the attention of the church. You know people that support these prophecies officials say to would it in such a way that it was quite difficult to determine that he was. He didn't end up being a charlatan. Or whatever it might be. I mean look the most dangerous thing that could happen in those days was probably that they would call you a heretic and burn you at the stake. In considering he already had had to become a number of things to just be able to write freely and then a lot of people say well. If you keep it general than it turns out that a lot more of your predictions looked like they're true. He was supposed to have predicted nine. Eleven where he said to steal. Birds will crash into toll buildings and you know again. That's quite specific and it is coming if you can close to the truth and a lot of people say well you know that's about as close as you could get in fifteen hundred killing of president. John f kennedy. He speaks about it from on high. Neva will fall in the great man. Perhaps a reference affected was shot from a distance by snap as all snape and then continues at did innocent will be accused of the deed and his united the whole story around the world right. Was he the one eccentric center. So that's another one and the death of hinder. The second of france was was also reasonably accurate. It wasn't in battle that it was jesting but it was very similar. Any predicted that that he would die a very painful through the and is exactly what happened. I am a soldier have launched him through the eye and it just got infected in. Septic took ten days da. The one of interest to me is obviously. The coming of adolf. Hitler was quite interesting. He's prophecy on that. Do you have the lines. You refers to it from the depths of west europe. Nostradamus wrote a young child will be born of poor people. And what does child do. He will buy his tongue. Should you a great troop and his fame will be spread far beyond europe and then also facing this went to history which could be a reference to hit let what or that that was also nine for the danube which an older name for the danube efforts. Another interesting thing. I mean you. You can't really tell me that there's anyone else history who seduced by his tongue a large troop. I mean that to me just sounds very much. Like the kind of archery pa. That hitler ahead group i mean. The german troops are probably most famous mental image. Any of us have with those helmets. In those you know those german nazi uniforms. That's kind of that's burnt into our minds if you've studied history at all and in advance or to have been able to write something like that in advance. It's kinda spooky. I will admit the great fire of london. That's on my list as well. So yeah you actually have the the lines that supposed to predicted the great fire. The blood of gesture commits a fault at london burn. Three lightning of twenty three. The six ancient lady will fall from hop place. Several of the same sick will be killed. Twenty three's the six sixty six that's twenty times three plastics. That gives you the term of said. Well sixteen sixty six great fire. Obviously post that you can start putting anything together to get through. This is the thing and again. I don't wanna spoil it for people who are real fans of nostradamus. Because they'll probably be the ones you like this episode. The most and to say look a lot of the stuff could probably be retro engineered to sound like it was very specific but you know how people are. They find the count the spaces between words in the bible and they say there's a secret code and you know there may be in many places that we don't expect to be. There may be secrets and and real powers and an unbelievable things that we are. Unable to modern scientific terms. Decipher properly or explain. But we're not in the business of supporting all declaring his prophecies rubbish. I think we're just in the in the business today of looking at some of them. Some of the things that you look at aqueduct. Scary when you look at metal in the sky when he starts referring to maybe non eleven acceptable fireballs they will be too big fibers. I mean it's quite scary. What makes you think of that. Several to judge you know. They took a couple of his squadrons and the reason they called quad drains because the he wrote four lines at a time so they were they were almost like poems and for the trains offended clearly about sort of creature that will be made of metal. They will have fire on the inside. That will do all the work. And he's pretty much discussing in in that quadrant and remember where the fifteen hundreds brain there was. No mechanization metric. He's talking about is how machines. Robots all mechanical devices will do a lot of the work for humans that humans are doing at the time that he writes this and that is if nothing else. It's quite extraordinary that he was able to pull that out of thin air. Because it wasn't something that you would have said in fifteen hundred without being laughed at in public. You know a machine to them. The most complicated machines around at that time would probably i don't know Devices used to lift stones. Whatever this guy had he. Sydney hadn't ability to make people take notice and we mentioned some his wealthy patrons earlier on and many popular authors of retold all kinds of legends about his life. I mean he supposed to have magical powers you know this is where it starts getting into the the mri world of nonsense and and make believe but he was widely read so he'd read a lot of the classics. Apparently one of his sources for his prophecies was something called the media. Billy's lieber a fifteen twenty two which contained range of prophecies from all kinds of people including savannah rola who we've spoken about in a previous episode to bettine civil pseudo. Matthias and jacques him fiore who will sound like interesting people themselves but it had a lot of success in the years before he published his prophecies so some people say well. He got a lot of his from there as well. I think as well on this point history repeats itself so they were saying that he used that history will repeat itself and to such an extent referring back to very old occurrences and that called it. Bibliometric see i think that the correct pronunciation back to tom's and then trying to predict going forward in the future so that will say areas we source for his for his prophecies. When i mean he wasn't very keen been called a prophet. He wrote to king henry. The second the guy who predicted would die so horribly system. Some of the prophets predicted great and marvelous things to come though for me i no way a tribute to myself such title here. That that he wrote to the king and fifteen fifty eight and he's supposed to have said to his own children. You know i'm not a prophet i. I would never attribute such a thing to myself but of course when.

"Some people find about war plague the destruction of nationsthese and the rise of evil men in every quadrant others seen meaningless bunk. Preferring to rank. Nostradamus is a fraud rather than a soothsayer. Did he have incredible abilities or was he just a madman high on. Opiates inventing fantastic tales to impress his patrons. No one will ever know. But not even nostradamus could have predicted that his name would echo as it has through history nostradamus. It's a name that has become a word that people use to describe someone who thinks that they know more than they can possibly a. He was a real person and this episode of blind history which is brought to you as always by taleb lines and shutters. My co-host anthony media. We're going to tell you about nostradamus. Well as much as we can because you know some people believe he can still tell you more than anybody else. Even though he's been dead for hundreds of years what you'll feel an initial dino's tom. I think it's more about the need a few months to know what's about to happen next when looking at him and ding research and very intelligent person but sure this is just so much gray area around what he did. It's very hard for me to believe any of this but yeah he s impression. Pretty post is laugh. You know when we started doing blind history. We made a decision that we can do mythological people they would have to have been real people and he certainly was that he was born in We actually have a rough day. Somewhere in december fifteen three and he died in about fifteen sixty six and we know that he was french and he was extremely well educated as you said. He was also a physician and author translator. He was an astrologer that he was probably a better doctor than he was. A prophesy of the future and it's hard for people who are skeptical like you. And i are to take someone like the seriously for the thing that he is most famous for but i mean he's an interesting guy on the list. He was obviously extremely smart. He he went to two different universities as part of his education. He came from a middle class family. They were jewish by descent and His uncle i think it was converted to catholicism. And that's where the name nostradamus came from right correct and at this particular time and we've covered a lot in in previous history episodes. That was really difficult being jewish at the time and it was also the spanish inquisition and the inquisition. Actually all over europe. That was happening at the time and then he was hinder. The eight spitting from the church was the wild west entertainers of religion. Whatever your religion was you were in trouble with somebody exactly hundred percent. It's never been particularly easy for the jews in europe until very recently you know. Yeah so. I think that played out as well very much his whole life and he had to be very very careful of hollywood at prophecies. Yeah i mean. When he was at university he studied to be a doctor. And that was at the university of montpellier and he was pretty much expelled before it even begun because he was working as an apothecary. Which was not allowed. You know there was this idea that being an apothecary was so different from being a doctor that the two went actually in the same business at all. Of course now these days you know your doctor gives you a prescription and you got your pharmacist. And you get what you need. But apothecary role said these mythological creatures to they they also believe that you know there was a philosopher's stone and they didn't necessarily know the details of actual chemistry pharmacology. It was much more of a guessing game and it was tied to the stars and it was tied to the humor's inside the body. So i think that that probably put a brake on his initial ambitions in expirations but by no means that he stopped and in fact they've been some really good reports from firsthand witnesses. That as a doctor. He was very proficient. when eventually did get his doctorate. He was able to help people who are dying from the plague. He developed a vitamin c. Concentrate people were able to drink to help them get through. Flus and colds makes a lot of sense while i was successful because he did talk about massive amounts of vitamin c sunlight getting adding to the country because people got confused if that thought that when they heard about the play which is what we really talking about in this period that i used to lock themselves in their homes but it was coming from the rats the fleas from the rats. Actually it was bid to get out in the open and going to the countryside s people that took his advice would actually recover from it together with these basically just a whole lot of different vitamins that he put together which was just helped the immune system he was almost more like a dietitian biokineticists than anything else because he told people for example that fact diet and lots of fresh air was a good idea and remember in those days that was quite revolutionary information i mean with mina disorders with leeches and they were they were bleeding people from the head i mean. Doctors were basically just bushes and he stopped at leading process in his practice. He didn't do it right. I think that was that was the number. One co two four both doctors in those times so he did get paid and he was married in fifteen thirty one. His wife and two children all died in fifteen thirty four during the plague which also must have affected him very badly. I mean iraq did a lot of predictions in his poetry. Even if you don't believe it's predictions even if you look at it as poetry. It's very dark and very gloomy. Very ominous and it might have been as a result of living in those times and you know losing family members. And having the stresses that life in the fifteen hundreds broach with it and it was one of his disappointments is really a software in this case but at broke him that he couldn't save his family saved so many people from the plague and he could not many to save his family set destroyed him and he just disappeared on travels trying to find himself and just let the pain he'll and and also the tarnish his reputation a bit in terms of healing people leave. You couldn't hear his family so there was a bit of both. That was in player in this part of his life. He remarried later on them and called an pond salad. Any had six children with her new also wrote an almanac in fifteen fifty which was a massive success an almanac sort of a book that gave you the you know the position of the moon in the position of the stars in a calendar and that was a big deal those days because people didn't really plan much in advance everyday was more or less like the previous day maybe a bit warmer but called her and for him to plan out. A year was fairly revolutionary. Move as well element. Extra will well none but for him to produce his own. It was quite a work of scientific. And i suppose social genius maybe it was also what lay underneath the scaffolding for what would become his trains of predictions later on his big patron of course was of msci who was at the altar of his. She obviously was part of the reason that he could eventually finance and publish a la poverties which was in some lip poverty seraglio which is a book of prophecies but the second wife she was a widow anxious very wealthy so that assisted him a lot as well to be able to actually follow his true passion which was the quad trains and twenty started to rot and little dino. The would knew that he's lawful squat. Epcos guide to become reasonably short. I suppose even for that time in the fifties he was going to be living another. I.

I'm going to throw a few ideas that you and please bear with me because I don't have your speed. Warp speed mind, But anyway, I'm going to take you in a slightly different direction. Um, okay. A lot of these things that you're talking about were already predicted by Nostradamus ofyou check. I mean, I'm sure you have. I'm well, okay. It's depending on how you look at it. We know it. Nostra. Thomas. This is a bunch of couples of nonsense that people seem to fit into their own agendas. So, yeah, I know Nostradamus talked about stuff like this, but predicting it now he just kind of threw some things out there, and people have basically made it their own. Their own direct hits. I mean, I talk about Nostradamus occasionally. But yeah, if you can show me where he predicted exactly what I'm talking about, I would say yea, I'm all ears. But most people probably can I I believe and one of these translations. He predicted something about worldwide Web and death from the skies. And I'm thinking space fact friends out like 60 satellite shot and low Earth orbit. Okay. Another idea. What if future event retro cause reality and and all that weird going on with people being nasty neighbors turning against neighbor do nasty toward the police and all Um, um, even practicing black magic. We got a few of those in the Hou is here. Onda police. Tell me, you know we're noticing this indifferent subdivisions. But anyway, what if future events are the future event is a warning for us to use free will Think for yourself. And not be led by the nose Potter similar to the boiling frog. Sorry, you know, get used to it slowly. Sure. The new normal, uh, similar to the Milgram experiment? Well, people deliberately got cooler and cooler. Um, similar to a the future is not set in stone her in front of probabilities similar to a math equation. Shift one sign just one number. And the outcome is their front. What if it's a warning for us to use your free will and think for yourself thing? Well, warning. The warning is what we're saying, You know, be aware of this future event. I mean, we're on a timeline. And if the timeline is disrupted in any way we can disrupt it with our own free will. The only problem is is we want to accept that things are set in stone. So this future event is affecting us now. But what we condo's weaken, detour ourselves to avoid that outcome. Inevitability. Yeah, Yeah, exactly. Rations. You know, in a way you are the masculine version of a modern day, Cassandra. Are you familiar with that? Oh, yes, I am. I'm very funny with Cassandra. I've been called a Cassandra. Many times. Having the Last Word

"I am about to or I am going to die either expression is correct. These were the last words of seventeenth century, French, Jesuit, priest grammarian, and man after my own Heart Dominique Boehner. Narrowly, edged out by eighteenth century French Aristocrat who declared I see you have made three spelling mistakes. As. He read over his own death warrant. We assign a lot of significance to last words hoping that we'll leave some deep philosophical epitaph or something funny like what's this button do? But you may end up with last words like American author, Henry David Thoreau who simply said Moose. Indian. My Name's Moxy and this is your brain on facts. Many people think Irish playwright and poet Oscar Wilde's last words were either this wallpaper goes or I do. That would be typical wild but there are two small factual inaccuracies in this retelling. The actual quote is this wallpaper and I are a duel to the death either it goes or I do. And he said that a few weeks before he died. Oscar Wilde's actual last words were a mumbled prayer. He did also say toward the end of his life as he lay in bed sipping champagne I am dying beyond my means. With about a third of the world being Christian it's not surprising that God gets mentioned a fair amount. As the clock was winding down for one of the baddest. Of Golden Age Hollywood Cancer Stricken Joan Crawford her housekeeper began to pray aloud at her bedside. Crawford summoned her remaining strength and said, don't you dare ask God to help me. A priest was at the bedside of Francois Marie Oh, Rhett the philosopher firebrand known as will tear. The priest implored him to renounce the devil voltaire considered his advice but decided this is no time to be making new enemies. German romantic behind took a different view as he lay dying of tertiary syphilis. God will forgive me. He said that's his job. A quick tangent while the dead have been in our collective fears and folklore since the caveman days, our modern interpretation of Sambas is strongly influenced by the ravages syphilis. Its Body count his paltry when compared with things like the black death. But the five million people at killed in the Fifteenth Century alone definitely qualify for epidemic status. Syphilis comes in distinct stages. Primary Syphilis is characterized by painless sores on the genitals or mouth, which typically heal on their own. The second stage usually presents with a rash and fever. These resolve and the disease enters the latent stage which can last for years. You're not infectious in the latent stage, but the bacteria may still be damaging your heart bones, nerves, and brain. People would think they were no longer sick which was just as well since there was no cure anyway. Tertiary Syphilis the third stage. The skin may be covered by growths that break down into lesions that spread unchecked. The disease can away bone and caused tremendous pain. Sufferers could also experience numbness and difficulty with motor functions, vision problems leading to blindness and dementia. which combined left people shambling down cobblestone streets with their faces routing off. If you bumped into such a person under a ready gas lamp on a cold Monday night, you'd probably be willing to believe they were a corpse who had gotten elusive. It's grave. Will Save, the debate for the spread of syphilis whether it started in North America or Europe for another day. We have these last words because someone was there here in record them. Sadly, that wasn't the case with Albert. Einstein one of the greatest scientific minds in history. He was not alone in the room when he passed away but he understandably spoke his final words in his mother tongue and the nurse that was attending him didn't speak German. Perhaps his final wish was something along the lines of don't let anyone steal my brain and keep it in their desk for years. As, you can probably guess that is what happened but that is also a topic will cover on another show. Many people can feel the end is near and leave prophetic pronouncements behind. "The one universal. About humanity's relationship with the future. Is that we all wish we had some insight into it. Some pre cognition which allowed us to make more informed decisions and avoid certain catastrophes. While the future remains an incomprehensible void for most of us. Throughout history there have been many who claimed the ability to see into it and catching glimpses into what she may bring. The Nation is often known as one of the oldest magical arts and has been around as long as humans have been capable of thought. Since Monolithic Times. Our ancestors have looked for clues in the stars. In abnormalities in animal in trails. And then the random placings and patterns of cast about objects. Definition is often employed during times of change and the uncertainty it brings about. It's practiced when there is a choice which needs to be made. And the asker is unsure which action he she should take. It's practiced when there's a choice Mitch needs to be made. When the ask is unsure which action to take or how to behave. It's often seen as a practical form of magic. As the belief is that the future is not set in stone? And knowing the possible outcomes can help a person. Bring about their desired outcome. For many ancient civilizations. Divination was reserved only for a chosen few. Shamans or priests were often the only ones allowed to practice the art. And it was something which was given the. Most respect. These spiritual leaders were tasked with the see grid responsibility of seeing over the destiny of their people, the used a wide array of tools to assist them with their task. Including the use of hallucinogens. In the Middle Ages. necker Mansi was a fevered form of divvy nation. Sears would invoke spirits, angels, or other entities to help them gain insight into various matters of the future. The NEGRA Nancy was forbidden either church an offense punishable by death. Neck answers we're calm and concerts for the wealthy and powerful. Kings and Queens had them as trusted advisers. And often major political decisions were based upon the advice provided to them, either trusted sears. By the time the renaissance came about. Divvy nation was seen as a motivational force. "Season the funny part about the Brady thing is I go on NBC Boston regional sports network every week during the season and I talked them off the ledge the last seven weeks there is this it for Brady it's it doesn't look good for the page it's another kind of Brady still really good they're gonna they could still win the Superbowl do all that and then they win the Superbowl is just all forgotten and course yeah I've been having a lot of arguments about this conversation so Chris you gonna make a lot of assumptions because the apple yo you almost have to be Nostradamus looking out of the future sharply dressed like that together right so when you're in Boston for six or seven weeks talking them off the web yeah they win a Superbowl what happens in the five months in the off season that also he goes from a Super Bowl winning quarterback to the ninth best would reckon only well I think that's the the it's nothing nothing happened and he still again what my big thing is we we are putting too much team stuff and this going quarterback did it and I wanna go no New England was the third best running team in football not because the quarterback I he did nice and often check to the line of credit at all that I'm not trying to take anything away from anybody but you know again the support system around of in my yeah it is my belief that if you put the eight quarterbacks that I put in front of them that yes I believe that the New England Patriots still would have been in the same situation and that's not a knock on time for AT again my dad was a guy who got hurt late in the season and the quarterback took over what won the Superbowl so I don't I I take all these things into it but yeah I just think a little bit you know the team the offense gets thrown into that's the quarterback and I can go to games are just go back to Tom Brady specifically go okay here's again Maria twenty eight completions right I watch the film and I go twenty five the twenty eight completions the first guy he looked at was open and he threw it and then yeah that's a good job I get that but a lot of Corexit football could do that the coaches throw to this guy first if he's open and he does it to him I don't go all my gosh what an unbelievable play holy cow nobody else in football could do this Brady is amazing he certainly greatest of all time our top two or three however yet yes see it and I still think you can win a Superbowl with them but yeah I think his days of being able to carry the team like we saw in twenty fifteen that go out to Denver and play the Broncos team is going to best defense we ever seen the guy we're not gonna run it just get the shocking retort fifty five times all on you Tom does that to me that day is over and I think yeah that but the guys whether it's what's in my home's big band yeah I think there's things they could do on the field at this point in their career that Tom Brady can not and that's not a knock on Tom Brady still awesome I really am a big Tom Brady fan even not really strong opinions a

"Twenty eighth nineteen ninety nine listening ten to nine hundred seventy WFL a. The Reverend Falwell says of the anti Christ. This is a quote, quote, if he's going to be the counterfeit of God, he has to be Jewish all well said continuing the, quote, the only thing we know is he must be male and Jewish. And on the anti Christ line. You are on the air. Hello. Well, first of all Arthur I'd like to make a distinction. You mentioned that there are many, and yes, that's true. There are many on your lines tonight. Who think that they are? But I also would like to add that there are supposedly many who are the true thing too. So as Nostradamus predicted here off Hitler has been one and Hitler believed in mysticism and believe in that prediction so much that before he marched on France. He dropped pamphlets over that country with Nostradamus his predictions. Well, despite my nervous little chuckles and fund making of this whole thing. The fact of the matter is my view is not shared by many. My view is that if there is God if there is the creator if there is the God of the bible, then there is evil as well as a force. And are are is that what you are. Are am I evil? Yes. As a force. Well, first of all let me say that. I don't believe he's all exists. I believe that what we're talking about tonight. The supposed anti Christ. This beast has the potential to be evil, but an earthly evil there is only earthly evil, there's no spiritual. But you talk about it as as though it's in the third person. And you I asked you are you are you are you an anti Christ. Are there many? There are many, and if you listened to the bible it says that there will be a war after a few of them supposedly surface. There will be a war were they fight each other. Now, this is going to be unique take on this Arthur because as you probably know or maybe you don't know, but I'd like to inform you that this isn't a choice that they were given or at least in my particular case. I mean, I was never asked at, you know, do you wanna do this? I was only I believe, and this, you know, this is my own personal belief that I was given. Hey vision that recently came to foolish and that I believe that I have that potential. You see and even Nostradamus said that these things are all subject to change. So I know what I was capable of doing, but I'm going to pull myself out of it because of the just huge ramifications of what could possibly happen. They're real anti Christ would not pull himself out of the real Anna Christ would have a mission just prove a small parlor game to you right now. Just to kind of wet me humor me. Yes. The. These so called people of I I don't even like using that term believe it or not. But these people of which we speak are not super human. They are mortal human beings. They only have superior intuitive intuitive. Capabilities. I'll prove that to you. Now, I'm gonna ask you a question Arthur, and you're going to be one answer for me. Hold on my Arthur. Thirty seven. Close very close. I'm thirty six. What made you say thirty seven. I'm very taken back by there. Are you really? Well, what do you mean? Said as the anti Christ will be someone was special intuitive powers. Yeah. So what do you expect? Okay. Also, I just like to say that. I am in big up scaring, my caller. Morton is caller scaring me. Well, you're just playing around with me. You're being a little Butthead is what you're being. Yeah. But of crises he'd be about it. Yes. He would. And that's exactly where I'm coming from believe it or not. I'm an easy going. You know, like, I said, Arthur, I'm making inroads into the media. I just this year. And wouldn't you imagine it would be this year? I have made a national television debut. You you have. Yes, you have. Yes. I was on national television within the last few weeks. Well, now that does figure they added Christ would definitely be on TV, and okay, and I've also had a radio show figures, and I will be continuing to go into that. And I'm also an entertainer of sorts you are. And here's a couple of things I believe it. This person has the ability to cause massive destruction.
