"Important issues that if this were just the west versus the Soviet Union 50 years ago, we would be really critical and be really pushing hard and making life difficult for the Chinese over these tremendously important issues. But as it is, we're so keen for president Xi to sign some bit of paper pledging to some improvement in his commitment to reducing fossil fuels that were tiptoeing around the issue. And frankly, it's beginning to look like appeasement to me. And I, you know, I just don't think it's the right approach. What you mentioned, the origins of the COVID outbreak. And as you well know, our government in Australia Matt Cole for an internationally inquiry into the origins of the COVID outbreak, as a result, Beijing has slept Australia with trade sanctions. So we're all well aware of the dangers of being too dependent on China trade, but is there now a danger that not just Australia, but the west generally could become dependent on the Chinese for wind and solar technology. Well, you're absolutely right that it was Australia's call for an independent inquiry into the origins of the virus, was an extremely reasonable non blaming request. It was extraordinary and shocking how that was received with direct transactions against large chunks of the Australian economy. As for the point about dependence on wind and solar, yes, we now, for example, there's a lot of offshore wind being built in the North Sea and there was a promise of 30,000 jobs coming to eastern Scotland to help with that in the old yards that used to do the oil rigs for the North Sea, in fact about a thousand jobs that have been made there. It's a desert if you go there. And the reason is because all this technology is being built in China. They've seen an opportunity in desperation for wind and solar technologies..

Denmark Plans Massive Wind-Energy Hub on an Artificial Island

"The country of denmark has long produced oil and gas in the sea but denmark has to phase that out by twenty fifty instead. We racing ambitions when it comes to offshore wind. Dan jurgens in his denmark's minister of climate energy and utilities. He says that over the next decade his country plans to build a massive wind energy hub on an artificial island in the north sea it will collect energy from hundreds of offshore wind turbines and deliver it to european customers in. Its first phase. The hub is expected to produce enough electricity to power three million households and ultimately enough for ten million. So it's a huge project. It's probably the biggest infrastructure project in the history of my country. Jorgensen says abundant clean energy can help advance other green technologies. Denmark's long-term goal is to use wind power to create liquid fuel for use planes and ships. That technology exists today. But it's very expensive and it's not possible to do it into scale would be necessary so that's one of the reasons why we're doing is so long term. The project could create winds of change for green transportation to

Nato intercepts Russian planes '10 times in a day'

"Apparently probing European defenses, NATO jets were scrambled 10 times all over Europe on Monday to intercept Russian planes as they flew over the North Sea, the Baltic and the Black Sea. Alliance called it an unusual peak of Russian flight activity. The Russian plane stayed in international airspace, but NATO points out that the flights composed potential safety risks. That's because the Russian crews don't put on their transponders, file flight plans or talk to civilian air traffic controllers. Martinez. ABC NEWS Washington

Denmark to end oil, gas extraction in North Sea

"Denmark is to burnish its reputation as a leader in fighting climate change. Reporters said so far tells us. Denmark will end oil and gas extraction in the north sea by two thousand fifty. Denmark is the largest producer of offshore gas and oil in the european union keeping in mind that heavy hitters. Norway and britain are not part of the eu. But a third of denmark's electricity now comes from wind turbines and the country has made a point of pushing its sustainability credentials as an exporter of green products. And know how it's in that late. That broad political majority has voted to cancel the latest round of oil and gas licensing and vowed to end all offshore activity by twenty fifty when the country aims for climate neutrality. The loss won't be too dramatic while the industry has brought some eighty billion to the small country since the seventies in the last decade oil and gas prophets have taken a dive for npr news. The History Of Martin Micronius

"On this episode, five minutes in Church history. We are returning to the reformation and talking about a reformer that you might have never heard of before Martin Micronesia's he was born in fifteen, twenty, three engagement and Flanders when I hear the word gant or the place can't always think of the altarpiece that beautiful painting. So Martin Mike Kronius is Dutch. It appears that he was a medical doctor and studied medicine, and there's even testimony that he published medical works. But then he got intrigued by the reformation and became a reformer he studied at Basel at Strasbourg, and then in fifteen forty nine, he went to London there in London he became associated with John Alaska this was the Polish reformer who also ended up in London And he and Martin my Kronius and a few others were intent on establishing a little Geneva in London. This would be a place for a European reformers to be in. London, they were not Lutherans. Anglicans they were reformed and they were trying to carve out a place for themselves. Well, he lasco published a few works to help for the liturgy and in the work by Martin. Is was published in London in fifteen, fifty four. He says this on the Ministry of the word. No church gathering is ever held among us in which the church is not taught to some extent from God's word in order for it to be edified, admonished and comforted, and for very good reasons, the scriptures are not expounded in sermons on is located parentheses as in the practice among the papists. Instead we take some book of the Bible either from the old or the New Testament, and we expound it from the beginning to the end in all sermons. We successfully read from this book as much as can be edifying, -Ly and properly expounded and explained within one hour. If necessary the ministers of the word are also admonished not to go too much beyond the scope of their text in their preaching rather they should as much as possible take all their teaching admonishment exhortation rebuke in comfort from the present text. So there you have it, you stick with the text, but you also see that this sermon was an hour long. So these Dutch as we know are tough the service that he also was trying to get established. There at this church in London, we not only have the sermon. In fact, it would start off with a prayer prayer for elimination. Then there'd be the Lord's prayer. Then they'd read a psalm. Then they'd read a scripture that the sermon was from and then you'd have the sermon the hour long sermon. Then they would pray for strength and by that, they mean to live out the meaning of that sermon and to live out the application of that sermon. then. They would read the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments. Yes. Every Sunday reading through the Ten Commandments. Then there would be a brief admonishment related to the Ten Commandments. Then there would be a confession of sin than there would be a prayer of forgiveness and then there would be a warning to the impertinent those that were not willing to confess their sins. Then, they'd recite the apostles creed than there would be prayers for intercession of the congregation than the Lord's prayer. Then another psalm, then a- benediction and that was the service that Martin my Kronius was trying to establish there in. London. Well, all of these efforts came to a halt when Edward the six died and he was replaced by his half sister. Mary. And you know this is the time of Marian exiles and One of those exiles was Martin my Kronius he ended up in Norton in Germany, which is on the North Sea. while. He was there. He held some debates with Meno Simon's yes of the Mennonites and he also published his catechism in fifteen, fifty five in Dutch and it was there in Norton that he died fifteen, fifty nine well, that is Martin, my Kronius, the Dutch reformer in London.

Canada Mexico Australia Brazil. Just to name a few well. That's just it very soon is not gonNA matter. By the time those ships get here there will be any place for them to off load the oil anyway. And so it'll be a moot point. I mean if if any of the people making these decisions had ever owned a pair of steel toed boots in their life. I think that they would be acting with a lot more Electricity and would not throw around platitudes about it will be stronger than this afterwards and et. Cetera ET CETERA. Released to say when you aren't the the guy out in the field doing the work who now is going to be at work for a very long time. So that's about the indeed for sure couldn't agree more so we had one final time. I was thinking about my my favorite Christmas movie. The Patrick version of Christmas Carol. When he says isn't there some happiness that could come with this man's death and the the little young couple of saying. Okay now thank goodness. Scrooge is dead now we have some time off to pay our debts and it would appear that that same left-handed bit a fortune in the in the cards for the the oil business I was reading something today. About how a lot of the major lenders and creditors are putting the brakes on on their bankruptcy proceedings because they don't want to be in possession of these distressed assets right now so it's sort of a strange strange way to try to find a positive but you know it looked like what they wanna do is try to forestall these long enough that they can turn around things will turn around and these companies can get back into some sort of solid operation or pursue chapter eleven bankruptcy instead of the more devastating versions and try to maintain some semblance of operation. So that was interesting that the banks and the creditors are trying to admittedly out of their own self interest. Slow down the the process. Well that that's quite right and They're wise to do that Because they don't want to be holding those assets. They have no idea what to do with it. They don't know how to operate it. They would have to hire a bunch of people to manage it if they came in possession so they don't want that to happen and it kind of reminds me a little bit of. We've had some severe downturns here in Houston and It's affected the real estate market. And you've had situations where you know. People who are working good jobs suddenly had no income and either tried to sell homes or in some cases the homes went into foreclosure and all of a sudden. The banks were holding a bunch of houses that they had no idea what to do with. Didn't want to have them and didn't know how to keep the homes up either for that matter and you would see the banks trying very hard to sell these homes at reduced prices just to get them off their hands so if they have trouble just with you know basic homes and residential real estate. Imagine the trouble he would have with oilfield assets while Kurt. I'm sure that some of your favorite companies are licking their chops at the prospect so distressed assets at distress prices. So I guess when we Catch up again on Friday. We'll have a little bit better. Look at where things are going with the storage situation a little bit better look at June futures and sounds like this Iran will metastasized into something pretty note really by them as well so I guess we'll look forward to catching up on all that and whatever else a couple of days I think so all right appreciate it thanks.

"These were the men who defended the shores of our island against the growing number of pirates from northern Europe for the rowers of the Roman galleys or merely the machinery of propulsion and were probably much less considered than the steam. The North Sea pirates then generally referred to as Saxons became such menace that the east coast receive the name of the Saxon. "The firing up I'm a home just looking into my boiler cut that here it's a pretty normal sound in any purchase home at this time of year because it's mid winter it's cold outside so we burn natural gas piped in from the North Sea and from Russia to heat up water that runs through pipes throughout the house and so helps keep it nice and cozy and warm inside the natural gas me saying is a fossil fuel which means that my boy that here is the missing carbon dioxide into the air and if we want to move away from fossil fuels either I'll have to scrap my boy to hear all together or I'll have to find something else to burn and one possibility might be to burn hydrogen the thing about hydrogen is that what it burns it emits water vapor it's a squeaky clean fuel so why don't we all already using it the question for a producer Lawrence night who worked on business dailies element series I guess the question is whether the hydrogen come from right missiles floating around in the air you come to get out of the ground like natural gas hydrogen needs to be extracted from some of the chemical not at the moment the main way in which hydrogen is produced is from natural gas natural gas is a molecule made up of one common with full height shins so you use a process called steam reformation to split itself the hydrogen from the come open using stating good news there is it gives the hygiene bad news that leaves you with one common which typically gets burns and floats off into there's couple dioxide somebody's actually sold the company mission so hydrogen today when you get it is not uncommon for you feel there is a way of making it that doesn't involve any.

K. prime minister for stones of his party's been talking pretty tough in the Sunday newspapers here at least over the these negotiations we find some of the tough attitude coming back at him from the European Union he gonna be proper Prof publishing we've heard this trough document today what they see as a way forward in the this next round of negotiations exactly I mean we'll find out Traci soon what that position will be at Michelle bunny a will be giving his speech at twelve thirty local time eleven thirty GMT sexy at the mandate for the negotiations on the future relationship which is which it will basically reflects their position here in the Netherlands it's been really interesting actually watching over the last few days I'm Marc rich to Dutch prime minister was pre cease gazing about the U. K.'s approach saying that and it would be a PC if we didn't have an agreement by the end of the year and instead of laying the grounds the U. K. have been instead of preparing for whether or not big band will chime foreign minister I tweeted a picture of himself looking at his watch and the ministry of finance actually went even further asking whether people would be planning to boycott British products and they quickly deleted that tweet though at since it went slightly too far I am we will know more lace of the talks once actually starts until next month I think that level playing field will be quite critical over the next eleven months either thanks for the update as you can hear out of the hope you know getting a fleet what standing at the port of Rotterdam a quick reminder of the top story from the BBC news the BBC news room concerns the coronavirus hundreds of billions of dollars being wiped off the value of leading teenage Barcelona star on two fronts to score tries to take Barcelona to a two one win over Levante se and le ly got a result which puts him three points behind real Madrid in the table in the confederation of African football has taken the next steps on the roads to a continental wide Superleague maybe I'm maybe a four year cycle for the nation's cop as well after agreeing to quite continue with the implementation of reforms which have been proposed by FIFA during that six month cooperation the mandate of FIFA's general delegate for Africa at FIFA general sixty five Mister Moore came to an end thank you very much and the more from us in about twenty minutes time learning an awful lot about American politics on sport Kansas City Chiefs they're not from Kansas the I. one primary it's not a primary has actually Mr trump made that mistake so I think I'm forgiven but apparently we're not going to talk about the Iowa primary that isn't a prime it's a cool because I'm extra we all we can explain all the terminology for weeks is rather confusing looking out from the outside and we got a great cast on the way to explain all of the terminology yes the democratic presidential nomination these rather that racing around Iowa had about cool because lace it today after months of debate switch have seen the crowd of candidates then from nearly thirty contenders the Iowa caucus is the first actual transposes have to weigh in but what exactly is it I asked Janice Johnson she is the White House reporter for The Washington Post at seven PM in Iowa islands will go to you precincts in their neighborhoods a lot of times these are school gymnasium the YMCA sometimes it's a barn him rural areas the names of the candidates will be on the wall around the room and they will go stand by the name of the candidate that they support now if they pick a candidate who can not get fifteen percent of the port in the room they have to pick a second choice and then after that second round they count up the numbers of body using in different corners and award delegates that will eventually go to the Democratic National Convention a Google search the means a meeting of neighbors doesn't it that's what the but actually means yeah exactly and a lot of islands are very fond of this process some people go in not knowing who they're going to caucus for because they want to hear from their neighbors they want to be fixed on the various candidates and hear from those around them the different cases for the different Canada I once you get past the second vote and it's all been tallied up then what do we see how also threshold for people getting knocked out of the race the end of the night the party is going to release three different types of results they're going to release the numbers of how many people supported the candidates in the first round and then they're also going to release the number of delegates that use candidate we'll get through this process so it is possible that you could have more than one winner coming out of the caucuses this year and of course you'll have candidates claiming that they're a winner the sign however they look at the different data and there's a couple of for us on that in this Iowa cook cool because for the first time as in how far is extended for the first time outside of Iowa and also the age at which you can get involved tell us about those two I would have faced a lot of criticism for not being inclusive enough I this is a very white state that doesn't necessarily reflect the diversity that the United States has and the carcasses that have been even whiter than I was population this is not exactly a warm welcoming process for people who've never done it before and so the party tried to take step make it a bit more welcoming and part of that was the added satellite locations so there are satellite locations with in this state there will be a half a dozen that will be conducted just in Spanish there are some that will be held at Muslim cultural centers there'll be some geared towards refugee populations and then there are also some across the United States on college university campuses so I was students who were attending school in a different state consult participate and then there are also a few internationally yeah we got one here in the U. K. we got one clause because that should be interesting with a lot of interest in that at the end of this process when we know what the results are from Iowa what does it tell us about he was edging ahead in the democratic normally process we'll have to wait and see what the message out of highway is and it's quite possible that it could be a message that is as complicated as the spray says but it's also possible that a candidate could really pull ahead in recent days we've seen senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont really have a lot of momentum behind him senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has been organizing in Iowa for a year and given the way the caucuses are set up thing that can really help the candidate so if one of them were able to win really big I think that's going to add some clarity to this field thanks to the Johnson White House reporter for The Washington Post about another evokes an American vote the Oscars on the way in a few days which means it must be backed up time here in London the British film awards which raise the curtain like a dutiful little brother lots of awards handed out of course but as so often that wasn't the real talking point has been sent out and the investors.

"Thought you were regressed. Yeah. I actually remember what happened out there. So everything that's in the transcripts. You. Remember every bit of that too. I remember. Yeah. Before it for that though. Yeah. Okay. You had just blocked it out for a while tried not to think about it. Yeah. I think you it's natural tendency for for a person to suppress those type of things along with other things I had to suppress you on the air force. I need to get your job done time. You know, aircraft crashes are one of them. Wow. Wow. Say you don't remember all that stuff? It's you do. Right. Right. Was that Desert Storm? No, I tell you what we had planes crashing all time like tens, even at bent waters. How many we had crash, you know, they do a maneuver or something like that, you know, and bury that plane right in the ground like twenty feet. Yes. You know? That's why we had the helicopter squadron there the air rescue. If they had a dump over the North Sea or something, you know, the rescue the pilots, you know, it was stuff happens on every day work in the air force, a dangerous occupation just by by nature. Right, right. Wildcard line. Number four, Jerry out of Arkansas. Hi there. Jerry, welcome to coast to coast. How are you? Hey carney. I'm great Jim badgered is I apologize. I've been in and out of my truck tonight and might have missed it. But did you ever have the binary code looked at by somebody that knows computers to figure out what Matt? Yeah. The original one was done by five separate people to I the down in Australia. Professor in North Carolina. And then we had a binary expert from Colorado. Do we had another one from Los Angeles. Yeah. There were all independent ended apparently examined and they came up with exactly the same thing. Which was oh, it has a a somewhat of a message. And plus it has the seven co-ordinates that were. And once again, what was that message? It's doggone. It's it tells the date of origin, and which is eighty one hundred. It tells. Is of your is whatever that means. Continues for planetary advance. Expiration? Of of earth. And you you you said the earlier, you know, about maybe, you know. Dimensional beings from future, or whatever, you know. Why would they give the do some of the questions? I have like why would they give the the information in English? Yeah. Okay. So so you're gonna. Kind of hold back. Some of this info to write for a while. I'm trying to pull it out of you. Holding him back. It's just now it's about organization so you can be presented in correctly. And because we don't want anymore misinformation coming out or something that if I miss speak on it or something like that. It's not correct. I just wanted to have it. Correct. And that's why we're put it in put it in a second book. The first book is called subtitle Reynolds from the negative is called timely. And of course, we're gonna do a book to be made a pilot for. But we will it'll be a continuation of the findings of the binder. Oh, okay. All right. So that would have a message of of of earth four earth. It seems like that. That's interesting. Bill out of west of the Rockies out of Seattle high there Bill. Welcome to coast to coast. Okay. We're gonna go to. Let's see. Tim out of Sheldon, Washington. Let's do that. Hey there. Tim, welcome to Costa. I understand. Stories. I love him. And I was thinking about Albany, Oregon. I was traveling on I five in the evening. Just going south of Salem. And I saw this water tower opt to side of the road, and I measured it. My telephone poles about like four telephone poles to laughed in three telephone poles high and it had. Well, I thought it was just a new water tower somebody was build and then had lights top and bottom and then around the horrors of the horizontal parameter. And so closer I got to see that. There's it's not standing on. There's no legs things hovering now. Yeah. Cars are stopped all along. I five lights. Are you? See Rosal cars people are out on the freeway minute. Then it does a pattern on I five that goes at the same altitude that goes triangular pattern across I then wound up going to a bias on our Whiteside, then and then crosses over. And and does. Holding pattern just like the first one. But further south in so cars were all. So I'm years later. I'm describing this in two thousand and three in Montana and this girl comes up to us. And she's oh, man. I can't believe that you saw that. We that's where I'm from Albany. How can you stand? The stench the for stanch Albany, just stunk so bad. Yeah. I hold my breath going through all buzney. So I'm worth thinking, they're discussing their for politics. And not no way. I don't think. So in Salem, or for that some kind of chemical or they're wondering, why is that chemicals once his mankind dealing here with all of this sulfur? All right. So, but anyway, so this thing if it's been measured for weeks upon weeks being around that area, it might be worthwhile to research it. And that's. Reason I was thinking about it happened about around the early seventy seventy three sometime, but they said that she said people are seeing it for weeks around the area. Thank you, Tim for that. Call. So what do you think about these types of things that Jim that? I mean, there's so many sightings that people cannot just figure out when they're taking left turns and right turns and and there's no explanations for these what do you think of all this, do you think there's more happening or something else in the sky that that is with the air force or somebody else. Well, what I what I look for personally when I do a lecture or conferences, I look for the CUNY. 'cause I what I'm looking for certain signatures that were Reynolds. And if they tie in they get they get my interest right away. I look for the QNA's. And then also every once in a while I hear, you know, a counting by by somebody and. I'm fascinated by, you know, even though it might not be related in any way, shape or form the Ronaldson. It's like, well, it's there's activity going on. And it seems to be..
