"He was and he did not have a clue what to do with with soccer. But descending does anyone have a clue thing is is that. He didn't know where to go if he goes inside a strong foot. Is he going to go outside me like he did. South smith froze step over a love about. It's like when you watch the matches before a crossover in basketball someplace have a very liberal. Course of emotion right sakistanis the is just. It's like a minimal things like just enough to get separation Step over the he does for. The assist is so clever. Because it's like it's not like some big fences just like bang an unbalanced slipped the ball in behind you and if you see. It's so clever because unbalances repeal looking over to shoulders. Yes he's don't even want to say. This is one on the podcasts. Just throw this in. I said this in the chat but got to say to you. Like most iconic awesome player since says fabrics are big tons of in terms of what he's carrying tons of what soccer is carrying. And what fabric has had to carry on for a long time. There was a bit of a wilderness. There's no wilderness anymore. If you look at like a game of thrones where like jon snow like charges all by himself and there's no backup for like a few seconds as backup but he's still got the sold out like this either the army comes then the becomes in back. Some of the key cavalry has now joined joy sanga. It's just a balanced as well. I mean a before came on after that chelsea game the chelsea game there was no they will attack was not adapting to issues that coming the and the team was so unbalanced it was everything was coming any idea and now i feel like there's much more balanced to it you've got strength on both sides of the pitch and i just feel like it's it's all coming together on in the middle as well something happening in the middle so it seems like we've got different places different places to attack from them we can. We can hook people from so many different areas. Because if you're gonna leave the guard and you're going to keep a high line with a bambang than other god's gonna is gonna play over the top you know if you're going to try and press arsenal as long as you know means get on his toes and stuff you're gonna press also with a go keep like ramsden who is just like did you see the rams and the boo-boys is actually a good like telling the boys wait. Wait wait just slow down man. Don't just trying to do the jobs you know what you see. As well looking at mikhail tetra and animated.

"And that's very good team flow as well like you thought about it to the lineup. I thought okay like those. Those were young. But because they're just brilliant playmakers those three him best. Those are three of the best young playmakers. And i'm going to add. They're gonna start. Adding smith wrote the still to go and soccer are silicon off. Smith wrote just in terms of where they are in the european pecking. Order in terms of your playmakers certainly on his voice with three of the top playmakers young playmakers in europe And the only challenge. I think the oslo have in the in the mediums. Just gonna to be scoped up. Factually i think the actual starting eleven is extremely good. Actually yeah i think the that. Gabriel an white sent partnership is key is feels good. Feels makita any success. I mean ever. Since they came in the first time they saw together was that norge game. They were really solid. They look so aggressive as well which is so important ram sell adds to the aggression his leadership which is vital because they trust him they trust and obviously right to you from from playing like as soon as you trust each other helps you go places. I feel that there was such a lack of trust before people did not believe in each other to to get the team danger and i feel that way and gabrielle partnership. They've got to stay fit like say new said they have to stay fair. I would be concerned. As soon as one of them gets injured how that unravels lopez only live around the corner from memories. Mma sousa came up my flower on the on the sunday. I just felt like something in the air always gonna happen today. I just couldn't put my finger of taste like sewing is. It wasn't the onions from the bug bombs. Something there you know what listening to mikhail say this is because when he said it guys if you heard you must have heard he said this is the best fourteen days of my career right. I don't know what it meant at a time but it felt like the norwich game. Is yes it was so many bazaar at the time was it was an now. You look back and think there's no european football. He's had all that time to work with them is got all the players he wants now. Remember six signings. The sick sign is on big up to andrew. It was his birthday as well on them. on on the dhabi day i heard him say he's signings. They made all finish the game and the five plays the a resigned. They finished the game so he's six six players he board and the five signs. So like you say yes. We have to think about scored that. But i'm feeling more than anything else is that there's been some form of moment like people talk about the choosey club when we used to bond and we've gone to we. We went to a place where we literally say anything to each other so in training you could bold someone out. If we go out for the drink you could say you're not doing this and we need to do that because we're trying to do this. I mean unless you start getting your training like you normally so that. It seems to me that they've gone to place with. They believe anybody watching that game can see how much those players are invested in this manager. And what he wants to do right. They are invested recently talking about someone like obama and people saying he's not happy always book is signed. The country's not e- is ready to go but he needed service from those guys. We've got midfield. Herb garden party also a boston to get into the box. Erta god just what. I was watching the game same. You're gonna do something about him can do. I'm feeling the champion stakes compose when parties on. I've said this a lot of people don't fully understand just how parties yes in the access with chuck and it's all about combinations as well. You see chuck now playing with confidence and receiving the board such dangerous areas when players received dangerous areas than like. This team is going to do something. I thought the second goal is no great. Tacoma can play that the way the Smith row took that the way he took the second touch the touch when he spins off about spins off in tanks authority. You take the i. I said that's arsenal. But he's impluse. Rejoices just quickly moves before. come back to you. You see that particular play right. Yeah that play. They've obviously worked on throw again. We're talking about margins. Because people talking about foul jacka on homophobia which certain places you may have seen that given people saying should have been a foul we ended up bam bam bam bam a bam touch and they keep talking about guys with the touches at full pace right is when you're dealing with the elite pleasantville thinking about the bowl because if you look at smith row is actually a time where he looks around and then it that's when he sees a bomb young.

"Vintage and secondhand. Why well it was kind. A no brainer. Interest- interesting is just always rising in the news than ever before. I actually just read a really interesting story. I d magazine about the tiktok. Hashtag thrift flip questioning whether some of the up cycling. That is trending is rooted in fat phobia. And we'll touch on this. We talk about the gentrification of charity shops and questions around that that continued to rumble. What else well. What's not for debate. Is that the piles of discarded fashion and textiles. Keep on growing. We know that there is just a crazy excess. What we can't say easily where turns up who pays the prize what that price should be. What selling what's not what should be all. "The big game suddenly on paper. It was supposed to be also a manchester united in the end. If finishes goalless draw Frank murphy craig shirley with us to reflect on what happened in north london and craig fan. Yeah i mean. I suppose you might says the second half wore on united. Had the better chances in the game certainly anderson cavani with a couple of very good chances but it was sporadic. Attacks wasn't enough thought. United actually at a control of the first half but it was the quality was was prepared. I mean i. I honestly thought the highlight the first half was a brilliant piece of defendant from martinelli when pogba clipped up bowl to rush put a new way back and there was was fantastic. But you know it was a competition done teams in this game. And i don't know what frank but it was a copetition to see who could give the ball away the most. Luke shaw was the best outlet for united in the second half but you know optional come out and pin them after halftime and just never really looked like scoring off the bar with a free kick but when you think about what happened at the in the day with the narrow went from mindset the united new this situation they also nude arsenal without tearing the soccer and the bama on no turnovers in the best deals that season and so there was an opportunity here for united to go and really stranglehold on arsenal and the alo- alo- themselves pinned back again and i just. I know united up a big topic of this week on the show. I'm just once again flabbergasted. By this tactic no it's brought them a record amount of results on the road for the mindset. It was like trying to tell the time from the face of a clock with no numbers. Then in 1080, a Benedictine monk known as Guido of a red so simplified the earlier symbols into round blobs that he arranged upon for straight lines. One of the lines, Guido made red, the universal starting point for musicians and composers to orient themselves. It is still the basic template to the music we hear today. But what about rhythm and harmonies? Near the end of the 12th century, a Frenchman by the name of Para teen asked those seemingly obvious questions about rhythm and harmony. This is his veterans. UK government under pressure for COVID-19 strategy

"Emergency covid downs across the north of England to put the division between Westminster and the rest made Steph into shot relief. Mass journalists voters across the North voicing their anger being dictated to as city leaders discovered happening towns through front pages, twitter blogs. According to Lisa Nanday, the government doesn't even know where weakness and a new report by End Child poverty was just came out says that even before the pandemic child poverty was rocketing in the north and Midlands eight of the ten. Hardest hit areas is England less the union fracturing. Alex Scotland Wales Northern Ireland each have their own approaches to covert the government is trying to centralize control of England even though English, cities and regions were desperate for the more path more local strategies has that approach failed? Is it going to have to be more more regional? I think I don't think it's a one ONS official question. For instance, when it comes to things like testing trays I, think to have a national overarching. Sort of strategy is a disaster because obviously local people will know how to do that better. But when it comes to for instance. You know. Contagion rules. I think collaboratively in simplicity of the message is so key to their success that having a sort of different set of rules complicated rules depending on one postcode or another I think that will fall down I. I can't see that looking. I'm Scott this perceived as doing much better than England, and Cave in Wales to the extent. Are. They really doing better. Do they just have? To they have better messaging that Nicholas Sturgeon is just somebody is more trustworthy Boris Johnson. Better messaging is part of doing better. Possibly one of the key banks. I had to look at a fairly comprehensive study by the Center for Constitutional Change that looked at the totality of what we loosely termed as the first wave and found a covert destroyed trajectories peaked sooner in both Scotland and Wales and came down foster. So one could say that national OAKTON, which came too late for England came even more disastrously nights from Scotland and Wales. But death rates were significantly above national average for England and consistently. Wales and Scotland so I, think yes they have objectively done better. I had Frank Cultural Boys on the Today program saying he actually missed springs national lockdown lockdown gold because the whole country was in the same boat. Matt downs are driven by local infection rates but they all currently in the north I'm is this crisis sort of making the relationship between national local government, the north and the south worse or at least more more strained yeah. Undoubtedly I mean he's also contains enormous opportunities in some ways for Metro Mas- in the North it's interesting that you've seen. You've seen the London Meh. Saudi con his authority has really diminished because he's been basically take files funding in which he greatly depends is being held. So tightly in could be manipulated so much by central government that he doesn't have as much leeway as he used to. Conversely in the north, they know that they can They can basically demand certain things in exchange for cooperation about Kobe measures. So this puts the whole metro messing I mean previously, they were seen as you know, a Nice Democrat Nice Democratic Nice to have but not something that had genuine power, and now of course, because of covid they do it's also worth. Mentioning that Johnson himself has no real idea think of how to hold north-and-south together. If you read his conference speech last week, the only mention of the North was north London in the context of a cultural jibe, the only mention of Scotland and Wales where in the context of wind, power. he really doesn't think about this stuff any session he hasn't given any attention to how to negotiate this new difficult and fragile relationship a rope, the prominence of some of these regional mez Andy Burnham Steve. Rotherham. that. Make the case for a larger. Merrill based system in this country when you labor introduced mayors lately took on in some places and then and then Nelson others. But you think they'll be more appetite for these figures. I mean it's it's it's hard to say because there wasn't a great dealer appetite for them when they were introduced I suspect because of their dynamics that was thought to see here the sort of purchase pull dynamics with the man's the big regional setting themselves up as defenders of particular cities or city regions against the hostile government. That's a great dynamic building, your legitimacy with voices building a profile, and it may well be the other places. Look at this and think well, I'd rather like to have an undefined and in my case, my sanity or Steve Rotherham because at the Reimann way rose again knocks I've by government, but there's no one in our corner as I think he could. Well. Stimulate that kind of demand the difficulty is no everywhere has like an obvious relation sensitive build a city region around. So I wonder what will happen for the places you know those rather I was towns That was so crucial in the twenty nine election How would this kind of system worked for them?

"Clunky" in the COVID Era: How Podcasts Are Persevering Through the Pandemic

"Are the challenges that? You've seen with podcast production during the pandemic. All of us had do step change we're all. This is. My Office now that my crew in my house. And we realized we couldn't go out and in fact we admit production. And at one point I had to drive down to the present house. I. Live in North London in. South. West London. And I had to leave disinfected because we were in the early days the pandemic disinfected tape. Recorder. With Mike and Headphones outside his house he went into his house. He got the script I. Sat in my car listening to Him Right At. What he recorded this on zoom recorder I then got tape. He left put the tape recorder outside his house gate I picked it up and took it home to the sound card. Now, that was in the very early days because. You know we would have gone studio we would have gone somewhere. Instructed him on how to pad his his office pillows and whatever and towels. So we've moved on from there, and now of course, we location stuff is really harder range. But we in fact the set but I'm talking to you on today's et Cetera. We often have we we tried all sorts of things out so What I have here. Is the. Recorder I have two sets of headphones? One is linked to my computer. One is linked to the zoom recorder because if you leave on the speakers on the computer cuts in. And what we do is I have a stack of smaller versions of this recorder which about eighty quit each that I post out people and sometimes they post on but also that's quite. We also found that using mobile phones and we have an APP. Download we information sheet and they can sit there do this while talking to them about phones. So we become very adaptable in that way we found other people have other things they use. Zen Castor oil or clean feed we try them out and we decided to this method, which is slightly more clunky offers the best. Option and you know it's It would be much easier in certain respects. A nicer to sit opposite someone and go out with them, and if I've got a report a currently I've just bought a boom. So she can work with a presenter and guests outside it's the first time again record outside. And along with recording instructions and what she needs to do. I, have to give her you know his his the rules you need to observe kind of social distancing. It's all possible. It's a bit more clunky. But we can do it. We have done it. And I think that is one of the marvels about. Thank. Thank goodness for the Internet digital technology because if we have been confronted by the situation. Fifteen years ago I think that. My business would have completed ground to a halt had been very hard to continue it and. A little bit of innovation and broadband has made all this stuff. Possible.

I Feel Better Naked

"Today on sixty seconds psych I feel better naked. Whether gardening outdoors or hiking in the woods, getting back to nature is generally good for mental health. But what about just getting naked today we report on the first randomized controlled trial of naked activity on body image anxiety. The study by. On whist recruited fifty one British adults with a simple, add on twitter. Hang out with others. Drink some wine and get paid ten quid that were then randomized into one of two rooms in a north London bar. In the first room, they mingled and drank with clothes on in the second room. They were met with an instruction. That must've felt like a surprise for this experiment. All you have to do is one enjoy yourself in the company of others for forty five minutes, and to do so naked. All participants are expected to disrobe for this part of the experiment, and they all disrobed without incident. The result socializing naked reduced body imaging Zaidi. It also improved body appreciation, but this effect seemed mediated by the reduction in negative feelings about one's body. The intervention had no effect on the perceived attractiveness of others. What in the devil does this all mean well? They didn't recruit a clinical sample, so it tells us nothing about how nude interactions would affect people with eating disorders, dismore disorder or social anxiety. But it does help us understand and empathize with patients who pursued the nudist lifestyle, and that was likely the sponsors goal for the study, which was funded by the British Nature Ism group unnoticed

Why has EastEnders been cancelled?

"Even the soap operas. Don't enjoy immunity from the corona virus eastenders. The blockbuster stole water the British evening. Schedules is being canceled during the outbreak. luntz. I don't know about you but every time I watched eastenders it just brought me down. Some people might cheer the departure of something which is very very well done. But he's awfully depressing L. E. I'll be council for the protection of the cruise the actors and absolutely right but the creative industries in this country that wants to be it up to find a way of telling the story and how people are responding to the crisis. Dramatically and using a soap opera characters perhaps couches for these vendors. Maybe own their homes To tell the story about how this is something that we can deal with together by supposedly another by supporting communities. Missile programs are all about looking communities. How they how they haven't made is helping each other and we know that soap operas kind of a very powerful influence on the national conversation and how the goddess else think about ourselves. So I would that there are people that the BBC ended up. The cost is thinking about this and thinking well. Maybe we count blockbuster filming of Me Happen Day off until now but maybe there are other ways and telling the story of Britain's going through them. The rest of the world is bound. So how do we add if you were sort of head of commissioning for forecaster? How would you act or create something that would act as a societal mirror? That didn't make us all gone jump in the river. Well what you'd want to do. Is You want to show the reality of it. I think it's very interesting idea. That long has said actually to suddenly got me thinking You'd want you'd want to show something that shows the complexity of it and so there's an upside and the downside. Just what I've seen here in. North London is on my street as we have a WHATSAPP group and already the neighbors are reaching out to each other offering to help do the shopping self-isolation and a rallying round but at the same time I've noticed there's definite stress intention in the air. Yesterday I went shopping. And there's someone behind me and I didn't see them and I let the dog go and you came out kind of ranting and raving at me. I've let the door almost slamming his face. Which certainly haven't intended sue. But you know it was a bit of a hair trigger moment. I didn't reply but you know and I've seen that in other places people sort of being very careful not to go near each other. There's tension there's so there's two things going on as a community rising also attention rising so you'd want to show that and I think you'd have to be careful not to get into the propaganda of it's all going to be fine and we will rallying round but people understand the complexity of what's going on around them and I think Some drama that reflected that it would be would be very

Kennedy Ife death: Family cleared of 'exorcism' killing

"Okay prepare yourself. This is a bummer. August twenty. Sixteen paramedics are called to the FAA household. On Lancaster Avenue in Enfield North London Harry. Fa Rang to say that his brother Kennedy had quote gone a bit cold after feeling dehydrated and a bit weary is a British thing. It reminds me of Monty Python. The meaning of his leg was bitten. Sort of off. It might be. Yeah I love it I like it too. They sound so much classier than we do in America. Yeah it was dangling there was just GonNa plum ripped off so two and a half years later. Kennedy Phase Family was in court his parents Kenneth and Josephine and five brothers. Roy Harry Colonist Samuel and Daniel were on trial accused of manslaughter. According to some Kennedy phase parents and brothers believed that he was possessed by evil spirits and set about curing him with prayer and restraint that led to his death basically. They tried to perform an exorcism. This is not something that an amateur should try to do. Not Bring in a professional. You wouldn't Clean Your Own Sofa and expect good result. Why cast as above out of a loved one on your own. You wouldn't steal a policeman's CAP. Well there's an obscure reference. Somebody tell us what that's from and You will earn our undying respect so prosecution claimed that Kennedy who worked as an. It consultant was restrained for sixty seven hours in the seven bedroom mansion in Enfield and he was treated like an animal or detainee. The family described themselves as charismatic Christians and they held religious beliefs and thought that because Kennedy had become quote bewitched That they needed to cast out those those demons. The family together And according to the Lincoln page The Dad of the household Kenneth. Fa is a prominent public policy analysis. That's not a word analyst who had gone and advised for World Bank and the British government so later in Police Interview Colin. Fa One of the brothers stated that Kennedy had been behaving normally up until August. Thirteen That's when he ate at a Chinese buffet and started complaining of pain in his throat and he was finding it hard to sleep. Maybe he just had an allergy to peanuts or something. It's possible maybe he had indigestion who knows about five days later. He was complaining of seed in his stomach. He said that a python or a snake was inside of him. And this is according to Call an FA. He said that Kennedy believed that he had a demon inside his body wanting to kill him and this is what he told the court on August. Nineteen Kennedy became aggressive again. This is all according to the family during their trial. They said that he bit his father and threatened to cut off his own penis rather than taking him to a doctor His mother who is known to their church as sister Joe. She sought advice from their minister. Colin went onto describe. That Kennedy had become aggressive He was shouting about the mark of the beast and When the volunteers from the church came to the house one of them His name was Andrew and his last name. I'm not even going to begin to try to pronounce He was a volunteer at Jesus Sanctuary Ministries He prayed for Kennedy at the House along with two other ministers known as brother Peter and Brother Emeka and he told the court when I arrived. I was informed that we've been instructed to attend the address of sister. Joe To pray for Kennedy. They went to sister. Joe's house and They were gathered in the living room. He said that he saw Kennedy laying down on the city. He had a phone in his hand. He seemed to be typing something on his phone texting. Or whenever Andrew said I said high he said high and he looked me directly in the eyes. He did look unwell. He looked tired and as they began praying for him. Kennedy's father walked into the room with a man from different church and this is according to the volunteer from Jesus Sanctuary Ministries so Andrew added. I believed he was a pastor but I had never seen him before. Sister Jo asked if that man could take over he prayed for God to keep Kennedy. And he'll him. He then said that he was actually kind of angry. That he'd been asked to come out there and then was asked to leave immediately because some Rando Dude showed up. I'm paraphrasing of course. I think it was brother Rando Dude but he did report that Kennedy looked like he had a fever and that he was not as bright as he had been in. The past. One of the lawyers asked. Did you see Kennedy bound at any time during your stay and Andrew replied no and then they clarified. He was conscious. He greeted you Did you see that? There was any time where Kennedy appeared like he was not in his right mind and and he said no he. He seemed okay so he left Monday. August twenty second another brother Harry. Faa phoned nine nine nine and said that Kennedy was struggling to breathe. Paramedics arrived but Kennedy was already dead. The court heard that when police arrived at the House. The family was carrying out what they called an attempted. Resurrection Kennedy was laying face down on the floor and they were standing over him saying Kennedy. I command you to rise in the name of Jesus this did not work and during the trial a prosecutor. Tim Little claimed that the family had restrained Kennedy for sixty seven hours before laying him out on the ground and trying to resuscitate him when he stopped breathing. What kind of restraint they did. They go into detail was handcuffed and they used cable ties. Like Zip Taif my God. I can't find a comfortable position when I have the flu Yeah no this was not a great situation and I imagine it was scary for everyone involved especially the one being Zip ties tied. Who believes that? He's filled with demons. According to the prosecutor the family put misguided religious beliefs above this young man's health and wellbeing whether or not he was possessed by a demon or evil spirits. Obvious Common Sense concludes that he needed help. A pathologist found more than sixty injuries on Kennedy all consistent with forceful restraint. Did he find any snakes in his stomach? No snakes in not a single one that would have been a cool ending Sister Joe Mom said that the restraint was justified because Kennedy Post threat to himself but neither sister Joe or Dad said they knew where the handcuffs came from They also struggled with where the cable ties came from each suggesting. That media workman had left them from work that he had done years before. But one of the brothers Roy later told jurors that he bought the handcuffs on Ebay as part of a abandoned plan to go into part-time security. Work Yeah why? Did they have further on them? Sir No one was sure of who put the handcuffs or the restraints on Kennedy and everyone said Oh I don't know who did it no one saw any particular abuses being Laid on him by any particular person. It was just kind of this group. Effort that No one had any recollection of exactly how the events took place. Maybe they were the ones possessed. Maybe after the police were called Roy. One of the brothers told jurors that he panicked and took the handcuffs out of the House and threw them over the neighbor's fence. Which to me says that they knew that this was not the correct course of action. Sure if you're hiding evidence you you knew that this wasn't the right thing to be doing. Mr Little said that Claims that Kennedy was only held down. Temporarily were outlandish that. There's no way that the injuries caused him by these handcuffs and these zip ties were created just from the the individual instances that they said that they had to restrain him that he was obviously restrained for a lengthy period of time. Which because this whole process took place over? The course of three days leads me to believe. He was probably restrained for three days. The siblings all made the same choice. Not TO GIVE EVIDENCE AND BE. Subjected to the same scrutiny. According to the prosecutor however Kenneth Josephine Mom and Dad Roy Harry Colin Daniel Daniel. Daniel and Samuel were all cleared of manslaughter false imprisonment and causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult between the dates of August nineteen and twenty third 2016. It seems as though because they held these religious beliefs and they held them deeply that the jury felt that they were not liable for this man's cardiac arrest and death even though they held him down and restrained him and caused his death but they didn't according to the jury.

After Boris Johnson’s stunning election victory, what’s next for Brexit?

"It was election day yet again overseas and joining us this morning is our friend Simon one from our London bureau Simon thank you for joining us how are you today good morning very well thanks may I tell you you know we circled the dates here for elections in it seems like at things can become fluid quite quickly over the U. K. big elections yeah last week we know Boris Johnson with against Jeremy Corbyn but who else well when I was on the ballot last week what happened yes he was Britain's third general election in the space of five years and if that sounds like quite a lot not because it is and I was asked to polling stations speaking to voters here in London while mom was telling me as we stood speaking in the cold December rate in a north London street he said he was fed up of it and she'd had enough of politics but despite that tens of millions of people did make it to the polling stations very RAF Britain to have a winter election this is the first one in December and I think ninety six years I'm and yet people are still motivated to engage in the political operations here because a big question with this election was well firstly what is the country's gonna look like for the next five years and secondly what should happen about brexit three and a half years after the referendum had when Brits wasted leave the European Union what kind of brexit divorce should happen if any the total well the prime minister Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party sets out campaigning around the country saying that greeted deal and with the E. U. all the divorce to take place but they struggle to get it through parliament today would say give us a stronger hand and we will and that would get brexit done and that you know you never know quite what I at this early stage after election why people voted the way they did but it seems that that message may well be more struck a call with a loss of that is because Boris Johnson ended up winning a much a landslide and he'd be returned to parliament with a majority of eighty seats which is really significant to give him a great deal of power and so the bottom line is after three and a half years of deadlock and gridlock is Boris Johnson calls it actually now Britain seems to be speeding towards break that and we think it's going to be done in the next six weeks

It's it's really interesting seeing players from other leagues come into the the program and it seems to me that if they don't hit that ground running especially for the top six teams if they don't hit that ground proving themselves and and and performing week in and week out that they really really do struggle to get up to speed in the Primin I I'd like Pepi I think Pepsi's Pretty Dope Player at least from the Youtube so I'm a little bit concerned because there's been so many players who have been go ahead and high expectation coming into the premise GIS been unable to perform and it it's the fearful part of me says pepe might be the next one.

"League action shot. We Shout WE CHARLOTTE. We shallot you. Is that something that we we Charlotte Yeah. It's it's lettuce onion onion on your meter on your on on okay so reality played club British over this week and shoutout to Emmanuel bonaventure who scored a brace in the did the Cristiano Renaldo celebration at the Berdahl what a legend and Real Madrid is looks fucking awful. They're down to nil at the halftime had a miracle Save of course by Sergia Rama's Casimiro but mostly Sir Jeremy who always bails out Real Madrid somehow anyway wasn't going to say yeah he was asked asked after the Game Emmanuel Bonaventure the guy who did the Cristiano Renaldo celebration which also just completely bad ass move like to do that at the Burn Abou- in front of all. There's a fucking wild. It was a Dennis who scored ended the Did the Rinaldo move. It was bonaventure who hooked him up with an assist. Oh my bad oh I fucked up anyway. I again like if you didn't hear the review at the beginning of the show we're not we're not that great anyway that Dennis was questioned afterwards and I believe the quote that he said was I don't have a put it up but when questioned why he did the celebration was like he wanted to remind the fans of what they're missing and he truly it is the biggest reason why they've been struggling or something thing along those lines which is like true facts. He might not be wrong. I think he might be right. I think he's on to some. I think he's really onto something which we've been saying like Real Madrid has been just it's like getting results but it's not great yeah and like like let's be real. I have the utmost respect for any team that plays in the Champions League except for Man City and Liverpool like but club rouge is not Real Madrid caliber and like yes cmo men menu liaison team and yes cost and then and then cost bruised. Here's the game yes yes so yes they do have one time last Champions League final before but they are not a team that should be giving Real Madrid a hard time and we've been saying this forever like we can excuse Real Madrid's league form because of the Champions League League unders is you is their bread and butter. It's been a full season and I don't know math. Maybe a quarter of another season. I'm Real Madrid looks looks just as shit as the did the second after Rinaldo left so this isn't a good Real Madrid team. Sorry Madrid's. Does I feel for you. I'm a I'm a Madrid fan. I'm Rinaldo Auto Fan but I do not think that this team is anywhere near the caliber that they were two years ago and there's some real worry especially going down to zero at halftime at burn bow and having been you know saved by Senate defensive mid and Casimir Owen and a center. We're back in my boy Sergio Ramos like were where is the tag whereas benzene whereas East Coast whereas bail whereas at an hazard there are complaints enes about him in the locker room. There are complaints about Madrid upper level management being fed up with his lack of performance so far so this is is not a great Real Madrid squad and I do think every single game like this is a warning. It's a shot across the bow because this team needs to be fixed and it would appear that Eddin Hazard was not fixed. No there is a lot. There's a lot to be done and it. It has not been done yeah just have like Veron hasn't looked good. He's just been so solid for them for so long and I don't know there's just something just weird of Real Madrid but like any time I questioned Real Madrid and I'm like Oh yeah. They'll probably good next year yeah yeah. Maybe they have the flu right now they'll get better. They'll get better for sure yeah. No it won't be anything all right. Let's move on to another game. That's happened this week. Liverpool versus Red Bull Leipzig who's being coached by an American Red Bull unreal game when you think Anfield you don't think really a crazy shootout between Liverpool and red bull but hey whatever it was a very exciting game and you also had he John just destroy Virgil Van Dyke which led to a wonderful wonderful photo which allowed fans to rejoice to see that Van Dyke is mortal he can be he can be best at some point but hey liverpool went into a shootout with red bull and they've been actually pretty goddamn good in the league this year Mohammed Salah debris. He's Robbo getting cyst from Trent Roberson. There's a lot of funny tweets like we're very smart tried to assist rob to assist a roberson so now he doesn't have more system or something like that. It was really funny like they're always competing being with each other for assist so yeah hell of a game. I did not see this one coming. I thought Liverpool at Anfield was just like a walk but God damn should've took the over on this one I mean I think it goes back to what I've been saying for. The past couple politics that this Liverpool team isn't really that great I let me change. Let me change the wording on that yeah fix your mouth. Their performances on the pitch have not been truly impressive if you watch these Games that Liverpool as AH competed in in the Primorye the Champions League. Are you able to say confidently that this team is as good as last year's team or is is this team as good as the year previous to that team and I think the answer is resounding. No I think they are getting by because they are a very mature in a very smart team but I don't think that they are blowing people away in the manner that they were doing in the years past and and once again they are not looking confident in these games Mohammed Salahuddin really make an impact on the game until he scored Boorda's brace in the seventieth minute he he was whispering on the win wings and Saudi Amani had chances in chances and he he looked great but that midfield with when all of them. It doesn't look fantastic anymore. It doesn't look snappy seem at the front three sing with back four and I do think that you know part of it is because of Alison China's GonNa end part of it is because of load management bite club which is it's a smart tactic is a winning tactic but I do not think this team is better than the team last year and I think in a shootout a head-to-head shootout and you compare the performances of the season between leaned Liverpool Manchester City because you know that's that's what Liverpool's chasing I think Manchester City outclasses them in every aspect of the book but aw three though I think they still got him. I mean fair point but I'm like in terms of an individual town and I agree with you. I think Liverpool's front three is individually the best in the world but as a team as whole and a whole team performance over Bernani minutes over this first part of the season Liverpool does not hold bread to Manchester City at all and I do think that should be cause for concern for or Liverpool liens because they are undefeated and you know that's a mature team a champion winning team and that's what champion winning teams do but their performances on the pitch like unless you guys are over overweigh confident like should provide some concern so you know any Liverpool Fan. Let me know if I'm just cooking up the Crockett truckee shit or if your actually concerned. I don't think they have any I think he's just you know man. I don't know I don't know I mean you've. You've obviously watched them. Do you think that this team this year is better than just I think its own little team so won the Champions League. I don't know man I I still think they're really fucking good. I've maybe would give the edge to man city by a nudge but not that much has not everyone is really like Barcelona's been struggling event struggle. There's not been a like I mean besides like Byron but then again like I can never evernote Byron's really that good like like because they always win the Bundesliga and then I have to I just have to wait till we get to the semifinal the shaving and like Oh yeah they were just they were very a good but they weren't like champions like winning material. You know yeah yeah absolutely and it's it's kind of weird seeing all these history and end story teams. Kinda have an off start to the season whether it's in their own domestic league or in the Champions League I mean you look at the legs of burst loner who brought Mundijong and and one reason this summer and they they still seem off you vent us who obviously have a stack midfield stack team. They seem all so it's kind of. It's kind of a weird year. We're seeing some great teams. Feel a little bit shitty but I mean it goes back to the point like it ain't a slam. I'm on Liverpool. It's just and I keep saying they're they're still married should scheme. It's hard to pick them. It's very hard yeah exactly I. It's it's not it's not like a for God's sakes. I'm not saying you but I'm saying that you guys aren't Manchester The united you're not ours. No you really don't have a lot to worry about at all but I'm saying the perfectionist of a soccer fan who wants that team to perform at the highest this level every single time they step foot on the pitch it ain't there for a lot of teams I think Liverpool Barcelona you ventas or all culprits this year especially and and I mean if you told me Kev Liverpool would skate by earth scrape by the first place team in the Australian Bundesliga does leaguer the Austrian Austrian Australian rocky make great Salita groggy awake. I don't know how to do an Austrian accent shop win now. I just think it's Arnold Schwarzenegger. Would you mean what you it's not a tumor. I would never believe it. I would never believe it in a second if you told me that last year because this time last year liberal among the other teams we have listed. We're just digging on these clubs so there. Is You know there's a bath for. I don't know I feel like I was just like Oh. This caught me by surprise. I was very very refund to watch this match but before we move in to our predictions pretty EPL weekend I just want to run around because I want to keep this under an hour and we have some fan questions to get to guys also lives no longer or shorter podcasts. hit us up on our social media like I always get weird out like me. Martin can do this for fucking hours hours. We try and keep it within like an hour or so but if you want to hear us talk more shit maybe do patriotic like exclusive more episodes. I don't know you let us know hit us up on our twitter facebook instagram. All Lads podcasts are loud Americans cussing soccer. We have mould linked everywhere. I just want to hop around. Is there any other games I really jumped out to you. I loved the Madrid versus mode of Moscow where you had are you okay. What's up the stupidest dog breaking sadie girls? It's Fossey now. Eighty girl or background. I loved loved the entire Athletico Madrid getting back. I don't know if you saw that there is a great amount of videos of just seeing Athletico Madrid and higher hire team get back in unison like it was almost like a glitch in the Matrix when the ball got forward it was fucking amazing Diego Simeone at his finest just literally cracking the whip they all dislike had this like Pavlovian dog effect where it's like what the balls back there and the auditors like they were running horses in the fucking race it was awesome to watch and then another highlight for me would probably be I'm looking at all the games and try remember Oh. We didn't talk about Barcelona Inter Milan. yeah messy makes makes Barcelona which we've been saying since he started for Barcelona but yeah he does dicked Oliver Inter Milan and Inter mind who fair Xiao scored. I I was up here. We go Barcelona. I don't know if they're good or not. And then Louis Warriors reminds us all he listened to the podcast he got a volley. He got an amazing sister messy. How The Danske Bank Money Laundering Scheme Involving 230 Billion Unraveled

"Money laundering is the way clever crooks hide individually spend all the money they've stolen in this tale about what's believed to be the biggest money laundering scheme in history. It involves nearly a quarter of a trillion dollars a very suspicious money from Russia and the former Soviet Union that was funneled into the western banking system, right, under the noses of major banks and regulators in the United States in Europe, who either facilitated it or turned a blind eye at the heart of it is a whistle blower, who found one loose thread in decided to pull on it. Howard Wilkinson is an Oxford man, cautious prudent and a bit of a stickler after his cover was blown last fall in a newspaper article is the person who uncovered the scandal he has spent much of his time wandering the British countryside. Trying not to be found. A whistle blower in a case involving two Russian money. It's not a good place to be you're still concerned, you've got to the very nature of the people who want to learn the money, probably means that not the so you want to go down the pub and have a pint with, but he did sit down with us and told his tale about a financial crime. So big it's hard to fathom and number that's reported for the whole thing over the six or seven years is two hundred and thirty million dollars of suspicious, money one Bank one Bank, two hundred and fifty branch branch Wilkinson had worked. There is a mid level executive for dansko back the biggest financial institution in Denmark, and one of the most respectable banks in Europe is head of markets for the Baltics. He worked out of a branch into Lynn Estonia, the former Soviet Republic now a NATO member right next door to the Russian bear. There were Cancian's, but also business. -tunities in Wilkinson, eventually discovered his branches. Biggest business was converting Russian rubles of highly questionable origin in the Chris clean on traceable American dollars customers will be calling every morning fleas. I want to sell twenty million rubles by Dulles. We would quote them the price that they would get the Dulles Doulos. basically, that was that was the last part of what we did. And there was nothing legal about that. Frank supposed to check the money coming in. Is it clean on the Bank supposed to check what does the money go in the end and you're saying it wasn't being done? Evidently, it wasn't being done. That's an example liberty understatement. International money, laundering laws require that banks know their customers and report suspicious transactions to thorns yet suspicious. Transactions would turn out to be the vast majority of the business in the banks non-resident portfolio, which was made up of clients from Russia as her by John and other. Former Soviet states, a lot of this money came into the Bank was out the door the next day, right? The next day or you think it was that slow. The customers would every everyday they would sell rubles dollas in that would be what we'd say we didn't, we didn't see where the money went, so your businesses really execute the traits, basically. The clients absolutely, not, not the clients job Wilkinson was assured was being done by a special committee that carefully screened, all international customers before they were allowed to open an account. He discovered otherwise almost by accident when a colleague asked him to help with some paperwork on one of the banks. Big customers, a British company called Lantana trade L, L P to me being British the face place to look for financial information about companies, the public register public apparently this was rocket science. This is rookie science and I wanted to have to pass it. Wilkinson consulted a British government website known as companies have paid while pound one dollars thirty. The company's financial statements and it was a bit strange because it said that the company was Dolman not Dolman means the company hasn't done a single transaction. He knew that couldn't have been right. Having looked Atlanta's banks tape how much Lantana money was passing through the back up to twenty million day, twenty million a day sometimes not exactly dormant is not to the public documents raised other suspicions, when panacea to be a British company in name, only with the postal address it an unremarkable office building in north London that it shared with at least sixty four other show companies with accounted dansko Bank, Estonia and connections to remote exotic places known for banking secrecy in money laundering. So we've got a UK company with a registered office in north London with an accountant, Estonian, Bank, actually, on by Russians and the, the onus of. From the Seychelles, and the mosh alliance to Wilkinson it screamed money, laundering, he explained what he found the people at the Bank, who handled the Russian accounts and was told that it was a simple paperwork. Screw up that would be fixed. Thirteen months later, he heard that Lantana had been told the take its banking business. Elsewhere, among the concerns was money laundering by a member of the Putin family sanctity, Mr. eagle Putin. Who's I think the cousin of the Russian president that are links to the FSP? The FSBA is, I think the success of KGB's some sort of secret police the people running the company have been associated with several banks going bust in Russia and absecon Tim stance. stances eager Putin, the president's first cousin is been associated with other Russian money laundering schemes, but as always professed his innocence, the Howard, Wilkinson hearing, the Putin name was further confirmation that something was wrong to do that. This needs to go to copay in this need to go to that head office. So I made a whistle blowing reports to full, very senior executives including one of the executive board whistle blogger, Paul about what's happened. What seems to be real concerned that others at the Bank might be involved in a cover-up Wilkinson decided to look into three more of the thanks customers that were registered in Britain up three pounds on, I took they counts for these next three and they will false your four for four full. Is it possible that people just could have missed this? Well, then went sixteen sixteen by looking at twelve so of which fifteen with the same address. So, yeah. Some point is stocks being possible to coincidence, not just with the account. So folks, they counsel basically look the same just change a couple of numbers where they will basically look the same when you started doing all this, what did people say to you at the back, nothing nothing? Exactly nothing. People stop calling around to say, is it true that a high ranking executive at the Bank told you, quote. The spank is not the police, the Bank has no obligation to report false clients accounts to the authorities. So frustrated with the lack of action Wilkinson resigned and took his family back to Britain. It would take nearly five years for dansko Bank to come up with answers after printing from the Scandinavian in European press after reviewing more than six thousand non-resident accounts, it, acknowledged that news conference last fall, that it's tiny Estonian branch was the gateway for what may be the largest money laundering case in history. I'd only scratched the surface, however, huge numbers saying to me back in twenty thirteen back in twenty fourteen unbelievably, I just scratched the surface of actually going on in the pike. Do you have any idea what percentage of that money was dirty? They said the almost all the customers was suspicious so far at least eighteen former dansko Bank employees are facing charges in the case including. "And I would I would love to see him. Then because I don't think he would do any team in the EP. Oh, that'd be my old other desire. For him. No. I totally agree. I think the dribble just seems perfect for him. And he's been rumored there for number of years since he was like seventeen or so, but yeah, he is twenty now Martin we can't say teenager. I know we keep wanting to say nineteen years old guys. He's he's an adult. Now. He's not as good as he was when he was a teenager. So. All right. Let's move on from L daily ten. He says will sorry be fired. Ooh. That that's kind of you know, best thing about Liverpool. Not kind of dropping out the top of the premier Li's where we stopped talking about this shit show dumpster fire that was Chelsea. So we stopped talking about saris job. So martin. What do you think? Do you think sorry is going to keep it at the end of the year, or do you think Abramovich is going to pull the trigger? I I think he's gonna keep it. I think you know, kind of be given that radio west chance and in the next summer or in the next season where if he's just absolute dog shit, and there is no improvement from twenty eighteen twenty nine thousand nine hundred twenty nine thousand nine hundred twenty sorry, then they're going to pull the trigger real fucking quick out talking to end of September quick. But again, if I if I am Chelsea I am Brahma bitch. I would only one out only one is in it onto deigned to come in afterwards. So I would lock up that French beats and then fire saris us. Yeah. I'm not sure right now, you know, it's kind of gone quiet on the western front about sorry. So people feel bad for him. Because of what kept but did event like everybody was just like wolf. Okay. Temple just destroyed. This man, we've got. Playoff sorry for a little bit. But I'm do his own thing. I mean, even Fulham even Claudio or R P Claudio, even their caretaker manager was just like, okay. Sorry. You can have your to worst players score hick, Wayne, and George very go. Here's a boost. Sorry ball forever. I feel bad for him at this point. I'm I'm sorry. Sorry. Yeah. Maybe the Kappa thing was the best thing that ever happened to him. This'll a little PR switcheroo PR one-to-one by us. You know? I'm just saying like we may have just flip this right on its head. All right next. Question comes from Mark Morgan. He says reality shitting the bed. We're gonna talk more about this with the Archie are Champions League recap on for Friday morning. But let's just say Real Madrid's cancelled we have officially cancelled Real Madrid. They are dead. They are not good. And there's a lot that needs to happen. Real Madrid is canceling their own season. Danny Carbajal declares that declared that their season is over after they lost to high accent. We're eliminated from the Champions League. So Real Madrid fans. Shut up to y'all y'all my faults and prayers Madrid easter's don't do anything wild. I'm sorry. This season has gone to absolute hell next question comes from a hood rich eight oh five he says, what has been the worst excuse from club? We were just talking about that. I would say for me would be. He's blamed the pitch is blamed the snow is blamed the wind. But marred I think we have to save the Manchester United depleted squad. Excuse were that was probably the most bizarre one thing that an injury written Manchester United. He wasn't prepared for has to be one of the most bizarre excuses. We've ever seen. Took me by surprise. I was. You're blaming are injuries for thrown off your rhythm. Okay. Dude. That was a wild one. I was going to say that. But for the sake of variety I'm gonna throw in that West Ham game. Do you remember that with him game last month where city or city Liverpool was given a offsides goal to Saudi Amani? Because I think the law that had that brilliant footwork on the side and then sent James motor down the sideline, but he was all sides yada, yada, yada..

"But I agree with caviar. The ref was the refereeing in general from the lawns. Judges to the Senate ref. It was atrocious shit the whole gang. There were mad fouls. And I enjoyed it. Just because I love that chaos and software, but the refs the entire game did not really do anything to try and control the game. So I think you can blame the ref on this one. All right. We're moving over to our Instagram at lads podcast, please give us a follow. First question comes from our good friend who graduated with from the Virginia Military institute. Chris davis. He says everybody's sleeping on Chelsea. But even with a game at hand against Brighton. The unofficial gave capital of UK. Thanks, chris. They're right there in the top four. What do you think they need to do or not to or not do to secure a top four spot? I think being more on our boats in agreement here too, which is annoying. You know, you want different sides. But I think we both think that Chelsea's not going to make the top four with how arsenal and United are playing. And how I don't know what I'm gonna get each week of Chelsea especially against the top six. I don't know if saris going to change a system up enough. And you know, you got a lot of players who are probably on their way out this summer. So I don't know if they're playing, you know to get some higher transfer fees for them or hire contracts. So I really don't know what I'm gonna give Chelsea what they might need to do is. It's just trying to change it up. We've said before you can't keep playing a four three and think it's going to win every single game. Yeah, they're consistent at being inconsistent. And I think that is their biggest problem because one week they can play like the kings of the world the next they can be beaten four five zero by born myth. And it really does not matter which players are out on the field. It's there's just no consistency. And and there's no changes in the sorry tactics. Even after he's he's been embarrassed by these tactics. So I think I think that Chelsea is going to struggle to get into the top four this season, especially given the fact that they have to get through Liverpool and Manchester United into league. So if they drop wants to one of those teams, either horse or United will be able to snap that back up. And so at the end of the day, I actually have United finishing fourth or snow right behind United and Chelsea unfortunately rounding out the group in six days. Yeah. I think that sounds. I think that sounds about right. We've onto the next question from or Harare three. He says who's the galactica Madrid needs to right the ship sedan. I would probably I would probably say Mugabe, I think he's got galactic written all over him. I mean, Martin spot the lie. That's That's true. true. I've been here in mad. Rumors about three players, obviously at an hazard is heavily heavily linked with Real Madrid. Fucking name or is deciding to follow the hazard have and just flirt heavy with Real Madrid. So apparently he might be included in Real Madrid. Galactic, oh plans. But I think Killian Imbaba is the number one target for them. He is fucking. He's still kiddies night. What nineteen years old, and he's just crushing shit in France and four friends, and if you look around the world right now, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that does not have a higher ceiling in Zimbabwe. And who's crude that he can do it in France for France and in the Champions League? So my man is ticking all the boxes for that next big store for Real Madrid..

"I do not know you have now novice play him. I just I just think this is a horrible horrible horrible. No good very bad year for Real Madrid. Yeah. Sedan Renaldo saw this coming in. They're like, I'm out. Yeah. They did they wanna know part of this whatsoever. And they saw the writing on the wall from like a mile away. Yeah. And I just saw air fails agent come out and rip on the what's it called Real Madrid fan saying that's disgraceful. How much they've brought to Garrett. And I think some of the criticism by fans Real Madrid fans is fair. But I also think they're they're being kind of harsh. I mean, he has has some crucial goals in Champions League finals in big games. And you know, like I like their expectations were so high because they were saying he was going to be the next Renaldo or like right under own because of how much they paid for him. And it just, you know, injuries plagued him look another Welshman, I know on my team on Ramsey. So, you know, it's just I guess it's just the Welsh. I don't know what to tell you. I thought they were tough. They played. No, just The Wilshire noon for the rugby. I thought they were tough guys. I don't know. Apparently, not the soccer players. My question is about bail. He is obviously leaving this summer. I think that's all being confirmed by his agent end. And and Real Madrid's president. Would you want him at your squad, would you one Gareth bale because he is linked to a couple of clubs in the most notably taught him and and mentioned nut as United fan. I did not want him at maj. As knotted. He's twenty nine. Oh. He's the reason. Listen, listen to the reason though. Is twenty nine years old. He is in drew slaked. He just spent the last when did he go to derail Madrid twenty eleven twenty thirteen. Yeah. Something something like that twenty thirteen. He just spent the last five years in law day go where he was injured at least once or twice a year. He has had issues with his fans zone fans is twenty nine years old. He does not really have many golden years left. I don't even think he has one or two golden years left. I think bail is done dude unless he can get on that talk team. I think taught him would suit them, well, but any other club man, I don't want him at United Madrid of these doesn't want him. I've heard any rumors that any Italian or French or other Spanish team once and looks like his goal is or bust. But if I am in charge of building eighteen doting eighteen not maintaining it team. Like, I think he would work wonders on Manchester City, but that team's already business that if you're trying to build a team like arsenal Tottenham and mention dog right now, I would not want him on that team. That's just me. Yeah. And I get your argument if you're trying to build up it might be a risky move, especially at his age injury prone. But you can't deny the talent. When he is healthy. I mean, the guy is a fee nom when he's healthy. So I get your argument. And I think it's a very good one. I think it's very fair one which I wasn't expecting so so kudos. But now, I think he's still obviously not worth the money that he was bought for every Madrid. But if you can get a good deal, maybe like a short term deal. I think you'd be I think it'd be good. But you know, how these soccer contracts are they're just fucking ridiculous. And especially his name alone will probably go on there a lot of money..

I hope you're not dead listening to this because this is a say on spin. But Martin I you wanna win the game. It's that Old Trafford. Right. Do I absolutely do one win the game? I would take him Manchester City when over Liverpool title every single day every single minute every single second of every single day. Because I I've lost Manchester City I've seen sitting win titles. I've seen win city win trophies. I have never speaking. Personally. I have never seen Liverpool when trophy I have never seen Liverpool fans is static and marching the streets after they've won a trophy ender. Woken the their fans back home. I can make fun of city for having no fans on their parade through Manchester. I can't make fun of like, I just can't fathom Liverpool winning the title lose the city every single day of the week to have your you're absolutely ridiculous. And I love that. So long got believe it's all about the low game baby. But you know, it's it's cities league leaked lose. Now. You know, I know Liverpool fans a couple of months ago where what like seven nine points. Up and now. Holy shit. I, you know, I don't want Liverpool fans the panic. I know they are. I know you guys are please have faith. I think your team can pull this off. I think your club is a brilliant. Coach. I think your front three will snap out of it and Martin we only have nine games left. Holy fuck, isn't that wild? I just screw it through Google that I'm on. And I came up on the bottom of the page way too quickly and on kind of scared. I'm not ready for it to end because we don't have anything in the summer to, you know, keep us keep us occupied except baseball. So I know I'm going to turn into a baseball fan around July for like three weeks until the premature. Okay. Whoa. US US women's national team dole. We got the World Cup. So still fucked baseball baby. I cheap watching soccer. Thank you very much. But I got some more questions for you. Ooh. Ooh, about Liverpool number ten, first and foremost. Let's you want to start off with kind of a snide Liverpool question or do you want to start off with an average in question? Give me. The fuck Liverpool one. I all right. All right. I know you kind of agree with me on on this because we're kinda we've talked about it before. Your cloud. Kef. He's turning into Marino. I've already sent it to the group message. He's clopping. Yo this man is blaming the wind. He's blaming dry grass. He's blaming Manchester. United's injury crisis of for losing drug. "Big man scoring eighty eight minutes after people have been criticizing him for the past six seven months. And also look in lean as fuck looking yet looking he used to be a thick boy, I think he's lean boy now so Martin is it is a soak short time. Can I change it yet? Is it is it still like that? Is that is that too? Is that too brash phrasing on for okay? For your time. Even soldier would say for Utah. I would hope so. Well, I know I know so because that man is in love with, sir. Alex on soldiers final day at wearing Manchester United shirt, he was given that, you know, retirement ceremony and everything and he basically profusely thanked, sir. Alex, Ferguson, and at the end of it. He said I am now going into coaching. And if I haven't learned anything from you that I can't learn anything from anybody. Thank you, so much yada, yada, yada. And I can't believe I've that line memorize, but fuck me it folk good deed or again God. I love that old school United's back. Yeah. This team even with all the injuries. I'm really worried even as an arsenal. Fan facing you at home this coming weekend. I'm I'm pretty worried. I'm sure the odds will be an in Arsenal's favor at home. But the way you guys are playing with such confidence. And the way you guys have Jen on such a terrorist and socialist taken over it's just so nice. You guys playing so free flowing in like doing like the things you want to do instead of being like robotically forced by Marino. You know what I'm saying? I feel like soak SARS really opened up the personalities and the play at this at this squad. So big win for Manchester United is there anything else you'd like to add to the match Martin, not really only two more points. You guys are slated. You guys are giving given the forty one percent chance to win against mentioned not at this weekend. That aside one of my let me just let me just fall in love with mentioned, not a tiny tiny tiny tiny bit more one thing that has also been brought back to the Manchester United. Squad way of life. However, you want to look at it is playing the young guns since soldier has taken over. He's given eight debut to James garner who is a seventeen year old fucking fee nom with our youth Kim team is also given debut to Temitope Chong who is also super young fucking amazing. So I think there is one more one more coming in. I cannot remember his name for the life of me. But all three of those kids who are part of the youth team have stopped traveling with the youth team. Because now they're part of the first team. And if it meant has not it is not built on their youth academy. I don't know what mental is not it is so my heart's bubbly. I'm in love again. Kev, a might propose. I I'm nervous of tiny bit about next year. But this was a perfect weekend for me United fan. Yeah. I think you can't go out even though like someone say like giving up two goals, you always felt comfortable, and I feel like if you're if you're a United fan, I would be very happy with the stadium club for one especially after the past couple of weeks, but also after this match and staying in fourth and being in the top four. Let's briefly I have nothing really. I didn't get the watch the Chelsea Fulham game. I only read about is. Awesome highlights. I just want to say I I didn't watch us game. I don't care that Jorgihno scored. He's still sucks. So can we disagree? We'll just agree to genius still not good. That's it. That's all. I got. All right. Do you want to go onto the next match? Yeah. When he wanna hit Manchester City or the big bed. Everton Liverpool before we get into that. Let's break for an ad right now guys, let's talk about sex good sex..

"Do you have anything else for the it was an exciting north London door bellies? Yeah. I mean, it was super exciting. It was violent which I always love to see in in some controversy. Controversial violence goals. Scored tears cried giving all that shit in Darby mix. It all up in a pile of drama and then getting bang, boom. You have the perfect perfect watching desert, and I thought this. I thought this Darby and the Darby that will get to later in the show Everton Liverpool Darby, we're just fantastic arby's there. They were fun. They were gritty they were tough fault. There was some controversy. There is some you know, gritty Fouts. And I love it. When football is football soccer is soccer. There is an anything going on except what is in that pitch. And every time there is a north London Darby, and in particular, I feel like it does not fucking matter. If our first or last if there's no is first or less, the only thing that matters that match is beating the shit. Out of each other. And I love that about this Darby so perfect RBM. I in my opinion, especially as the United fan because both y'all drew suppose, y'all got loan point. That's perfect storm for me, baby. All right, whatever let's move onto your team and more in. I gotta say you put out the perfect tweet about this game. You said nothing but big dick energy goals all throughout this game. What just it was? I think one of the commentators or someone I watched said like this is a perfect like highlight the show in American like the show someone about the Premier League late drama ridiculous goals. My first question to you, though. Martin does Manchester United have a striker issue. No, not at all. Who's who who sorts rash? Lukaku rash? I'll answer that with my own opinion. I registered should get the story. But there are ways to play both of them right now. Fluctuates basically doing a four three words Scott because of the injury crisis. He's got. Well, Alexis hurt now too. So fuck me. Sorry. Go on it. Don't have we can't play her front three right now because we're to hurt. But what what soak our did. Once Lexi got hurt and new call if you had to come in from the winger position into a more centralized role is he changed the the formation from a four three two four four two or I guess you could say. A three six two. With two Stryker. That is my brain hurt. That'd be. Three in the back. Then win win Bex. It's a three five to they're often. Okay. Sorry. My three just like that was way too much math. It sounds like I'm talking like pep Guardiola in the middle of him changing tactics. Like what the fuck are you doing? "I thought you guys deserve better. But the the ability to finish chances and expensively a chance that is so quote, unquote, easy like a penalty kick to completely flood it not just miss not just rocketed right at the keeper off the post but to limp dick that ball towards the goal. I think I think that a bomb Yang should absolutely be embarrassed of himself and to your point about yelling for talkin. Okay. I could give two shits when a player is in the penalty box when the either. Yeah, that that should have nothing to do with the penalty unless the guys like running in front of the gold like a chicken with his head cut off. If yet for Tommy starts running at the time that a bomb Yang starts his run-up. And all the polls like a pod. Bush slow road up out of nowhere or something yen rebellions momentum is going to carry him into the box. And I do not think that should require a penalty penalty to be retaken even in this circumstance where Yan we're told him God that crucial blog on a Bum Yang after after the rebound and a bomb Yang had a chance to put it back in the net. And we're talking stepped up and made that tackle. I do not care. If ver- told me should have been in in that box when he was all on saying all of my critique right now right here is a balmy because one he flopped like a motherfucker. To dick that PK three. He got beat out by defender that started six to seven feet behind him. Even though he was still in the box. So about meeting arguably, the fastest writer got beat out by giant giant Belgian? I don't think there's any excuses for Bombay. In this game, however overall for arsenal especially in midfield. And and in the goalkeeper position. I thought y'all were brilliant. I thought y'all deserved to have the three points. But you guys did essentially essentially and finally a race any kinds of questions about Tottenham being able to challenge for the title. I don't think there's any chance that they can't at this point. Yeah. Exactly. I just think daydreaming man like he just looked like he wasn't there in the game. Gamely? It just looked like he was shook. But I totally agree with you. I think if we would've won this. I think the big thing that hurts now is because we go to we play you next week this coming weekend, we got the lads Darby against Manchester, United and. This would have been a crucial three points for top four spot. You know, I mean, this would have been knocking Spurs out a little bit more, and maybe solidifying us more towards a top four spot. And now, we gotta go to you. Earn. It's at the Emirates. Sorry. Sorry. It's at the Emirates. But again like you guys are flying high which will transition to next but a couple other highlights Torrero with the crazy red card. There's an argument that Danny Roche should've had one when he was going after the ball and like essentially spiking burnt Leno in the chest. Again. That's a fifty fifty call if he's given a red card. He is. And this is my opinion. This is just my opinion. He's trying to play the ball. I understand. I think someone last night and the other show I was on with saying how goalkeepers and quarterbacks are really protected in this now and in this day and age, so I get the argument that like you should protect the goalkeepers. But at the same point like the guys just trying to play the ball terrar- is was just reckless and shutout to Paci for going to him after he tried to go like chirp into the referees ear and kind of like pulling them off being like come on, man. It's it's it's it's fine. It's game on it's not worth it. It's not worth it. So after he recently just got fined for chirping in a referee's era like deed for my team. Yes. Yeah. Always like, but yeah, that's all I have for the rest of this game..

You're listening to lads podcasts on the overtime media network. Martin. We have all sorts of good stuff to talk about before we get into that. How you doing bud? I am out. Sick of winter kept. I'll tell you what it's like forty degrees here. And I think I'm I think I'm dying either therapy or something then I'm cool. Do you I- fricking bites into work this morning in twenty degree weather because I refuse to take septa because it just filled with filled with bedbugs and also real bedbugs like fucking the people in their man terrifying. It's like you were like, oh like Philadelphia. Like, you know, the people like are they as bad as they seem what septa at seven in the morning. Yes. They're exactly what you think. They are but sites that. Yeah. I'm pretty sick. I saw that. You know, we're not gonna talk MLS at all that happened this weekend. But I saw that the most the coldest game ever was played this weekend in like five degrees. I just remember seeing that picture on social media like a referee, literally, his eyebrows and knows his snot was coming out like fucking icicles. So again MLS how about you know. I don't know. I it just it just hurts my head. Sometimes like, I I know it would make sense for them to play during the like same time. It's like all the other top five leaks. But to start your league literally in the winter. I I I don't know what the tell you. But. Yeah. MLS happened in scored a goal, and I think Philadelphia union lost. I actually don't know. I, you know, we said we'd be covering more MLS. But you know, we're going to stay on brand and say we didn't watch any MLS this weekend. So I'm sorry to all our molest fans out there. So. Yeah. That that basically sums up my feelings about Ebola MOS in its entirety. I I was on Instagram. I think like Friday night Thursday night whenever the opener was for analyst and was Bleacher report a bunch of songs sites that I follow all posting about to start of the MLS season. It had fire emojis explosion emojis smiley faces and literally my only reaction was cool because I I might watch maybe two or three games this year. I'm trying to watch more of it. Can't man. I just can't. And if you playing if you live in Minnesota, and you have a soccer team haven't endorsed stadium. Like, there's a reason Iceland, Sweden, Norway, all these Scandinavian, countries and cold countries. The reason that their soccer games, especially they're international soccer teams have gotten so good in these past five ten years as because all these countries have put for the program of building indoor other stadiums were parks for kids to play practice and watch soccer. So look if you live in a state that is negative twenty degrees at any point in the year. Inside stadium or don't play soccer. I'm sorry removed. Harsh like just get that move. Just get the fuck out of that state. I don't know what you're doing. I mean, I I'm miserable here in Philadelphia which goes without saying the city itself, but I'm just saying like guys like come on. But we have all big big filled. You know show for you today. We're going to be talking to north London Darby. We got Everton Liverpool. Drawl we got a new league leader right now by one point. Maybe even some L classic go. I watched that. I went to the warriors game the night against the Sixers, and I was just completely my little cousin. I was just heckling the whole night just just Philly trash all day. And you know what?
